Day 37. Leviticus 16-18
The Day of Atonement is established as a yearly ceremony for cleansing the people and the sanctuary. The high priest enters the Most Holy Place to make atonement for Israel. Laws are given regarding proper worship and the handling of blood. God also sets boundaries for moral and sexual conduct among the people.
