Transcript
- 0:00Yeah, I guess I didn't realize that kids were still doing this Show and
- 0:03Tell. You were talking about your daughter. Is she got big Show and
- 0:05Tell coming up? Yeah? I just got a message, and it says,
- 0:08hello, families, we're gonna be having Show and Tell on Friday.
- 0:11Show and Tell. Items must fit in your child's backpack. Please don't send
- 0:15toys that go in mouths, such as instruments, as children may be playing
- 0:18with them. Which is so accurate, you know, is have you talked
- 0:22to Sydney about what she wants to bring? No? And I was just
- 0:25honestly off air, just racking my brain as to what would be a good
- 0:29Show and Tell item. I mean, I'm sure she has something that she
- 0:32would love to show. It is funny if you leave it up to them.
- 0:36It's not always the most plausible thing to bring in, right, the
- 0:40refrigerator my house? Yeah, you can't bring that in, honey, don't
- 0:43you remain I thought they'd gone away with it because you know, like I
- 0:46feel like, you know, not everybody has something to bring in or whatever,
- 0:49or also you just probably run into some trouble with the things people are
- 0:52bringing in. Yeah, do you remember bringing it back in the day.
- 0:55I remember it was fifth grade, mister Saint Peter's class, and I grew
- 1:00up on the lake and it was about this time of year, so it
- 1:03was cold, but yet it wasn't frozen over. And my cousin and I
- 1:10were outside and we found this big, huge bug like it was massive,
- 1:15like I'm talking turtle kind of size, yes, and it was black,
- 1:21and we had no idea what it was. We were super excited about it,
- 1:25so we grabbed it. We put it in the freezer, and we
- 1:27were going to bring it to show and tell because we're like, oh gosh,
- 1:30this is crazy, so bring it to our class. And I remember
- 1:36putting it. Remember the uh tables that you used to sit at or you're
- 1:38little, and you'd lift it up and then you'd have to ask your desk
- 1:42thank you, and you'd have the little tray for the pencils well underneath it.
- 1:46I had put this big old beetle thing, went to lunch, came
- 1:52back open it. It's gone, my kid had thought out and still to
- 1:57this day, no idea where it was. It was just gone, like
- 2:00it was gone. In the school, this discuss a big beetle thing.
- 2:05Did anybody mysteriously die shortly thereafter, No, and still it was probably just
- 2:09like a water beetle. Who knows, but we just thought it was so
- 2:12good. And when you're a kid, everything is always bigger than it actually
- 2:14is. Yeah, exactly, like I remember, you know, for a
- 2:17reference, like going to the Dike to sled as a kid, thinking I
- 2:21was on Mount Everest. Yes, and now I drive by it, I'm
- 2:23like, oh, really, yeah, that was it, that cute little
- 2:27hill. Oh that's awesome. And then later on in my life, I
- 2:30remember doing a show and tell, and I was older, but I think
- 2:34my parents had to rearrange the day to bring our dog Shadow. Oh you
- 2:37bring your dog. You were that kid. Every kid, if you ask
- 2:39a kid who has a dog or a cat or whatever. My brother did
- 2:43the same thing. It's like, what do you want to bring in?
- 2:44They're gonna want to bring the dog in. And I don't know if they
- 2:46allow that anymore. I don't, probably not. This is why they were
- 2:49like, hey, bring pictures. But also I remember we had an outside
- 2:53dog and this I loved Shadow just dangy never was really in the house.
- 2:58And just the fact that we probably had never been on a leash before enrolling
- 3:01and this school, as though she sleeps in my bed and snuggles me every
- 3:05day. Come on, I remember I was obsessed with rocks as a kid.
- 3:08Just rocks, Oh of course I did. Yeah, yeah, and
- 3:13not even special rocks like cool ones, like just stuff I would find in
- 3:15the landscaping at home. God, so there was a while there I was
- 3:20selling rocks real, a real entrepreneur as a child. How much were they
- 3:23going for and how did you sell them? Well, for the biggest and
- 3:25best amand of probably five dollars. And I had one poor neighbor who just
- 3:30obviously felt bad for me, and so they would just wait, do you
- 3:31have a rock stand at the end of your drive? I had a sign
- 3:35and everything. Yep, I'd love I'd love it, present them and yeah,
- 3:38the same neighbor would come by and buy rocks every day. I don't
- 3:39know what they were doing with them, but so I ended up bringing a
- 3:43rock in for for show and tell, and uh, it went over like
- 3:46a farden church. They say, oh gosh, it was the most interested.
- 3:51But there's got to be some stories out there of what you brought in
- 3:53for show and tell, So please, by all means seven oh one two
- 3:55eight one nine eight seven. Would love to know what'd you bring in?
- 3:59Maybe somebody in the class brought something in. I remember a kid tried to
- 4:01bring a pocket knife. Oh in third grade. Yeah, I don't remember
- 4:05anything crazy, But I'm just struggling trying to think what she has to bring
- 4:10in. I don't want her to be that. She maybe still want to
- 4:14bring her mommy in. Wouldn't that be adorable? I won't fit in the
- 4:17backpack. Bye. Oh, that's right, that's the real Stike Ama in
- 4:20the Morning, Big ninety eight point seven, Amanda Stills the Sea. Let's
- 4:27see, Well, guilty. I have not been keeping up with the Kardashians
- 4:32as much as I used to. I'm too busy and Britney Spears and Taylor
- 4:35and Travis Land. But I will tell you this, The Kardashians is still
- 4:40on Hulu, and Mario Lopez got everybody's attention yesterday because they have a little
- 4:45promo. And Tristan Thompson is still living with Chloe, at least at that
- 4:49time when they were filming. Remember, his mom had passed away, so
- 4:54she kind of took him and the brother Ann and Nevert's like, ash,
- 4:57that's so sweet, but it feels to me like they're setting it up,
- 5:00like let's give him another chance. Well, Courtney Kardashian is not having any
- 5:03of that. Her and Penelope, her daughter, just do not like Tristan
- 5:06Thompson. So that's the storyline. Well, Tristan tells Courtney in this tease,
- 5:12when I cheat, I feel disgusting. The next day, she goes,
- 5:15so, then why do you do it again? We don't know what
- 5:18he responds, but Mario Lopez goes, when I cheat, My guy is
- 5:24acting like this is a weekly occurrence. You know, he's pretty casual stop
- 5:27by Arby's on my way home, Like when I stopped by the I mean
- 5:30like as if it's helping, Like what if it helps any I feel bad
- 5:32after, you know, it's not like I'm just enjoying the whole thing.
- 5:38Yeah, I'm enjoying most of it, but I do feel a little guilt
- 5:40the next day. At that moment, I'm like all in and then it's
- 5:43like, ah, well how many I mean he was filmed like twice?
- 5:46Do it right? There wasn't on a surveillance camera at like physical like it
- 5:48was more like dancy kind of stuff. But the worst one was remember when
- 5:53he was going through the surrogacy all of this stuff with Chloe to have baby
- 5:59number two. They ended up getting pregnant, but he had already impregnated a
- 6:02woman and acted like that didn't happen and that we were not gonna find out.
- 6:06Yeah, it's toopid. She she really has had a pretty rough go
- 6:11with guys. You know who she needs to find is her Travis Kelsey.
- 6:14That's who she needs. Oh, yes, seriously, and Britney Spears.
- 6:19So a lot of people have read her book, and for those of us
- 6:23who have read it, I just don't know if you would really be able
- 6:26to turn it into a film or a TV show. Maybe they can turn
- 6:29anything to it, I know, but a film would it be good?
- 6:31Maybe, I don't know. Get in the hands of Scoresasa or Spielberg.
- 6:34Yeah, well, you know who's trying to get their hands on it.
- 6:38Reese Witherspoon and Brad Pitt. They're in the running, as well as Margo
- 6:41Robbie. They want the rights to it. I know she really likes Reese
- 6:45Witherspoon, and she's talked about her love for Reese on social media. Every
- 6:48once in a while, she'll talk about her Drew barrymore few people, so
- 6:51maybe she would give her the rights to it. Well, I mean,
- 6:55she's gotta make money either way. It's kind of like who's going to be
- 6:57the highest bidder? You know. Yeah, but so much of me too
- 7:00where I feel Britney Spears doesn't want anybody to have the rights to that.
- 7:03It's kind of her protection maybe, but then again, you know what talks
- 7:08men big fat stack of money. And speaking of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey,
- 7:15Hillary Burton, Morgan and pretty much everybody else in the world is tweeting.
- 7:18I was one of them on Instagram saying I got a feeling about these
- 7:23two that maybe they'll be engaged by summertime. Well, she tweeted and said
- 7:27they're gonna have the most flannel lined pie and red ribbon kind of Christmas and
- 7:30then those babies they're gonna be engaged by. May I fully agree and I
- 7:35love to Did you see this? Gigi Hadid totally calling out this new storyline.
- 7:41Remember how was two weeks ago we were talking about how they said Selena
- 7:45Gomez just is not having it. She cannot believe how Taylor's reacting to this.
- 7:48Yeah, the relationship they did the same for Gigi Hadid and she started
- 7:53trolling them. She goes, sorry, I'm a couple of days behind on
- 7:56this tag. She said, Uh, I don't know what the press is
- 7:59trying to do here. Yeah, Selina last week and now me, let
- 8:01it be, we're over the moon for our girl period. Well she showed
- 8:05them. I know. I just love that though. Now we're in a
- 8:09world where they can just fire back. Yeah. I think we're probably all
- 8:11in the greens here. They're going to be married very very soon, and
- 8:15it kind of makes sense. We were talking yesterday about how she's got this
- 8:18era's tour, Like, what could she possibly do? I mean, the
- 8:20last few years for her have just been so big. Doesn't it feel like
- 8:22the right time for her to just step away for years, take a break.
- 8:26If you want to have kids and do all that, now's the time
- 8:28for sure. I mean, he's he just turned I think thirty three or
- 8:31thirty four. She's about to be thirty four. That's prime time to just
- 8:35like really start your life together. Yeah. God, she's probably only got
- 8:39a couple of years left too, so you oh good, just adorable.
- 8:43Look at us and Amanda in the morning on Sage seven, It's that time
- 8:48of year where if you're having like a little bit of a diet or you're
- 8:50on a workout regiment, it's over. It's soliday season, the holidays season.
- 8:56And I'm not saying that, you know, not based on evidence,
- 8:58because I've tried to so many times. I'm you know, I'm thirty three
- 9:01years old. I'm pretty sure I've tried thirty three times to die through the
- 9:03holidays. You just can't do it. You just physically cannot. Yeah,
- 9:07it's all about moderation and honestly, just dieting anymore. I just struggle.
- 9:11I have to really just stop saying that and not it's like a head game
- 9:16with me. I have to just eat real food and work out as much
- 9:20as I possibly can. Or that's it, Like I can't do anything that
- 9:22all, Amanda. I just got to eat real healthy food and work out
- 9:26a ton. It's not even it's not that you mentioned healthy food, it's
- 9:28just eating like real food. I get so caught up sometimes into all the
- 9:33fad diets and all the things going on. I'm like, I know what
- 9:35I need to do, but it's so easy to get wrapped up into well
- 9:39because it feels like it's a shortcut. When people find these like cute little
- 9:43diets, it's like, oh, yeah, that'll work. Two thousand adults
- 9:46were served the man A. Seventy two percent say that the holiday season is
- 9:48the worst for their diets, and they would be correct. Now. Over
- 9:52half of them say they are worried about such things like constipation, indigestion,
- 9:56even acid reflex. I can get the acid reflex, especially because we've been
- 10:05over this. I know, whatever, I have it, accit, acid
- 10:07reflex, reflux, whatever. But it's especially this time of year. I
- 10:13tend to drink a little bit more champagne and that kind of thing, and
- 10:16that, after all, it's solidsh it gets me a little heartburnt action going
- 10:22on. And the older I get, it's ridiculous. I used to be
- 10:24able to eat and drink anything and it was just like a solid not even
- 10:28a thing. Now I'll be up in the middle of the night, I'm
- 10:31like, oh, I had a couple of cocktails. It burns when you're
- 10:33twenty one and you can eat an entire pizza patrol pizza before bed with a
- 10:39one hundred beers and wake up and feel good. Yeah, amazing. But
- 10:41you know the thing about dieting during the holidays. So the worst thing is,
- 10:43why is it so hard we're talking about When we say the holidays,
- 10:46we're really referring to two days. I mean, right, Thanksgiving is one
- 10:50day, Christmas is one day. You want to throw in years even sure,
- 10:54yeah, but it's just holiday parties. I actually find I'm completely opposite
- 10:58than this. I am more motivated October, November, December, January,
- 11:01February, March, like, that's kind of my I work out, I
- 11:05do, I eat, and I drink and stuff. But it's not as
- 11:07bad. Summertime is when I yeah, that's my holiday season. Yeah,
- 11:13no, I know that's the bad YO season. I can't say no,
- 11:20a little ditty stuck in your head. Solid No. I definitely like come
- 11:24New Year's like, that's when I kind of turn it on. And then
- 11:26you get to the summer and then yeah, you're right, golf season,
- 11:28lake season, beer season, it's over. So what do you find to
- 11:31work the best for you? Because I know we are talking and there's some
- 11:33people out there, Amanda, not to name any names, but there's this
- 11:35hot new injection I could take if I want to lose weight quickly. Yeah,
- 11:39I've got quite a few friends that are on well, and I don't
- 11:43even think it's ozempic anymore, but they're doing uh whatever this. It feels
- 11:46like the magic shot. Tell me more. I'm easy. I really don't
- 11:52know much about it. And I see some of these people and I'm like,
- 11:56dang, girl, you look good. But then what kind of achey?
- 11:58Right? Yeah, I just got to go the right real way.
- 12:01But then it's like, well, if everyone else is doing it, it's
- 12:05like steroids and base But it's like I don't want to cheat, but gosh,
- 12:09if everyone else is doing it, what am I supposed to do?
- 12:11I mean, I bought a thigh master because everybody else had one back in
- 12:13the day. Give that a try. Don't have my thigh master anymore.
- 12:18My mom had a thigh master. I used to use it in my arms.
- 12:20It just squeezed it together. Great chests a thigh master hack. It
- 12:26also works great for your chest. I want to get a thigh master.
- 12:31That's what I want to give for like a white elephant gift for the holidays.
- 12:33Just a good old fashioned high master, so good, really good.
- 12:39Really, I mean, season we have a sauna suit like the as scene
- 12:43on TV. My husband is the guy he puts on his suit jacket when
- 12:46he works out. We have like an extra one as a wrestler. Don't
- 12:50use a sauna suit. Okay, dangerous and it's not helpful. You wanted
- 12:54to hydrate yourself, sure, but I don't know. He likes to get
- 12:58his sweat on. Kids a sweatshirt with that just over? What is that
- 13:03thing? Makes you a sweat a ton? You're not losing fat, You're
- 13:05just losing water weight. Oh boy, you're gonna have to call Nick.
- 13:07Well, if you listen, if your husband has a way in tomorrow morning,
- 13:11sure, i'd say by all means, but I don't think you did
- 13:16like it a mena in the morning on a big nutty Eight points to exciting
- 13:20time though for your daughter her first show and Tell ever happening. Yeah,
- 13:24I'm excited. It's on Friday. Just got the little memo. It's got
- 13:26to be something that she can fit in her backpack, and I'm just racking
- 13:28my brain. I'm excited to talk to her about it to see what she
- 13:31would want to bring. Because I just got the message. I'm like,
- 13:33oh, what could it be? Well, I just remember so many ridiculous
- 13:37things were brought in when you were a kid. When you leave a kid
- 13:39in charge of, you know, just choosing something, you get some funny
- 13:43things like I brought a rock in which did not go over. Well,
- 13:46it's just stupid. And you brought in a giant bug. Yeah, I
- 13:48thought was like a It was like a water beetle of some sort. And
- 13:52then it got away. You still don't know. It's missing somewhere in Deer
- 13:54Creek, Minnesota. So who knows what I contaminated or what a lot of
- 14:00people just, you know, bring their pets in, which it sounds like
- 14:03your dog. It's a Puppyet you can fit that and backpack. Don't you
- 14:05know we're not bringing a live animal in? All right? Well seven on
- 14:09one two one ninety seven, what'd you bring in for show? And tell
- 14:13Dania? Did you bring something in? Well? I didn't bring anything,
- 14:15and that was the problem. And I hate being left out. And so
- 14:18I'm a first bader and I'm listening to these kids show these amazing things,
- 14:22and I'm kind of, you know, just wanting to one up them all.
- 14:24And so I get up there and I say, my mom just had
- 14:28a baby, and she she hadn't she had a baby. No, And
- 14:35we live in a really small town. We were I'm from Subbeka and this
- 14:37boy named Evan Corbyn was sitting in the front row and his mom was like
- 14:41my mom's business partner at the time, and she raised his hand and he's
- 14:45like, where is it? Yeah, it's she was in the basement.
- 14:50You know, we just keep her in there. We just you're hiding the
- 14:54baby in the basement where the police called it all or so good? Nope.
- 14:58I I actually remember getting home that day and seeing my mom hang up
- 15:03the phone like you could see it as you walked in the door, and
- 15:05I remember her being so nice about it, and she was like, did
- 15:07you tell your teacher I had a baby? I was so offended. I
- 15:11was like, no, Like, why would I do that? Of course
- 15:15you hadn't had a baby? Mom wife? Why? Okad kid's minds are
- 15:18incredible. That is so funny you would think of that. Oh. Now,
- 15:22I'm a teacher and we've had kids bring interesting to the schools too,
- 15:26Like we've had like kids bring like pipes and like this is this thing.
- 15:30I love it. Well, thank you so much for chiming and we appreciate
- 15:35you. Daniel. All right, thanks by well go ahead. I was
- 15:37going to say, speaking of baby as we posted this on Facebook, and
- 15:41Erica, Amanda and a Sherry, they all brought their baby sisters to school.
- 15:46That's hilarious. Mom, back to look at this thing I brought.
- 15:52Somebody said they brought me in a deer head. I'm hoping was one of
- 15:58the mounted deerheads, not just a fresh off hunting season bloody head from the
- 16:02garage. Even that though, just bringing in a big old deer head.
- 16:06Can you I get now why my child's daycare and school is saying, like,
- 16:11just maybe the picture of so you can put it in the backpack so
- 16:15it's not that Emily chiming insane. And she brought a nine pounds sugar beet
- 16:18once, it'd be some kind of world record. I know, this is
- 16:23so great, and I love that she probably just went to the farmers field
- 16:26next to her house and jacked it out of there. Yeah, for sure.
- 16:30Hannah says, you brought a dead armadillo. I don't know where you
- 16:33get an armadillo, let alone a dead one. But had me be an
- 16:36exciting day in the classroom. Oh god, what about you? Seven on
- 16:40one two eighth one ninety eight seven what'd you bring in for show and tell?
- 16:41You can call us, you can text us. If you can beat
- 16:45a dead armadello, you win. I get a mana in the morning.
- 16:48Seven. You want to spect to sing when you hear that telephone room friend
- 16:56fucking this lasson by friend? Wang. Gosh, someone just slaps just as
- 17:07hard today as the first time you heard it would too, Oh my gosh,
- 17:10just a banger. Hey, this guy his wife reached out because he's
- 17:12trying to get his boat winterized. A little late in the game, if
- 17:15you ask me, but he's been waiting and waitings been nice, right right,
- 17:19Well, I don't really know much about boats, but anyway, okay,
- 17:23here we go. Hello, good morning. Is this Adam? Yeah,
- 17:30hey Adam, Sorry for the call. It's so early in the morning.
- 17:33Names Pork Matthews a manager over here at zarv and Marine. And we're
- 17:37just having a little bit of an issue with your boat that you dropped off
- 17:41for the winterization. You got a second row, maybe chat about it quick.
- 17:45Yeah, yeah, So it's very embarrassing. Obviously, we got a
- 17:48new guy here and he's not exactly familiar with the winterization process, and so
- 17:52he on his kind of first big assignment. Was supposed to winnerize your boat,
- 17:56but when we checked back in with them, turns out he accidentally summarized
- 18:02the boat. Okay, so what does that mean? What's so winter rise
- 18:07it? Then? But yeah, you know what, I don't understand what's
- 18:08summerizing? Sure understandable. You know the goal is to winterize it. He
- 18:12did summarize it, which basically that's like the opposite of winter eyes, you
- 18:18know, winter summer kind of thing. That's not even a thing. Well
- 18:21you wouldn't think so, I understand, but it is what happened. And
- 18:25whatever you say, you made this mistake. I've never heard of a summerizing.
- 18:27But you know you're taking a really long time with this, so how
- 18:32you know? So fix it? Like how big a deal is it?
- 18:34Yeah? It's a head scratcher, all right, Adam, And we feel
- 18:37terrible. I mean, this is the last time we're going to let this
- 18:38guy loose on his own. What we're going to have to do here is
- 18:41we're gonna have to go back boat or something. No, no, no,
- 18:45no, it's not damage. It's just ready for summer, which is
- 18:48I know, we're not what you wanted. How can it be ready for
- 18:52summer. I just took it off the water. It's been it's been in
- 18:53summer all summer. What the hell? That makes no sense? And I
- 18:56understand, I'm sure you know how the seasons go. But we're still gonna
- 19:00have to winterize it. But it's a bit of a process to get there.
- 19:03So what we're gonna have to do is we're gonna have to unsummarize the
- 19:06boat, get its back and it's in sort of its original state, and
- 19:10then we're gonna have to do the winterization. So it's going to be probably
- 19:12three four weeks tops. Oh hell no, come on, that's that's that's
- 19:17crap. It doesn't take that long to win a rise a boat. You
- 19:19pull the water out of it and you make sure nothing freezes. Right.
- 19:22It's not kind of morons, are you? You don't summarize the boat.
- 19:26That's stupid, Adam. Now come on, it's not that it takes long
- 19:30to win arize it. It's just the unsummarizing that just STI I want to
- 19:33talk to the manager. Okay, well, let me get him on the
- 19:36phone here, hang hang on, Yeah, this is the manager speaking.
- 19:41Yeah, it's the same person I was just talking to. That's right,
- 19:45that's the man that you got him. So you're literally the most intelligent person
- 19:49I can talk to right now. Okay, well, I don't know.
- 19:52I don't know about that, Adam. Yeah, I don't either. Before
- 19:56we get two worked up here, I just got to tell you, man,
- 20:00we didn't summarize your boat. Your boat is fine. Okay, this
- 20:03is a prank call. Okay, there's a good old fashioned prank call.
- 20:07Your wife Gina reached out to us. Who, by the way, we're
- 20:08not even at the boat shop. We don't work there. Gina set you
- 20:15up. Got you like a goal. It's piking a man in the morning,
- 20:18a big ninety eight point seven, Adam, got you like a go
- 20:21we got what. How do you guys feel about payback this? Oh man,
- 20:26that's just gonna be a man. Do you hear that payback is coming
- 20:29back? That's hilarious. Well, we're a good sport. I do like
- 20:33you got a little You don't mess with a man in their boat. You're
- 20:34just don't. Yeah, you sound like you know your stuff. I felt
- 20:37a little out of place because I don't know what any of that is,
- 20:40so I probably did sound like you made that apparent bag Pike it a Manda
- 20:45in the morning. Come on Big eight point seven trending. Now, here's
- 20:52what you need to know. It's soliday season, holiday season. Good morning,
- 20:57a triple A. It's going to be crazy over Thanksgiving. They're saying
- 21:03it could be the busiest Thanksgiving in several years. I don't know if it's
- 21:06just kind of post COVID people are just finally getting back to normal traveling and
- 21:08flying and doing everything. But they say nearly fifty five point four million people
- 21:12will be traveling through the holidays. Airlines are supposed to be jammed. That's
- 21:17going to be kind of one of the biggest things. And I don't know
- 21:19if it is. I mean, we don't know anything about weather, but
- 21:23I know they've had a lot of issues with like TSA and things like that
- 21:26too. So what Yeah, you it's already gonna be crazy, which sounds
- 21:30just like absolute hell on Earth. But then you're throwing a snowstorm and delays
- 21:33and cancelation. I mean, godspeed. We're flying out December twenty second,
- 21:37just fingers crossed. But are you going anywhere for Thanksgiving? Yeah? We're
- 21:41driving down to Iowa nine and a half hours with the kiddos. We haven't
- 21:44actually done that trip since last Thanksgiving, you know, where they're kind of
- 21:47at that age where everybody comes to us. So yeah, it'll be interesting
- 21:49and my home a long road trip like this in a while. And I
- 21:53don't know what your sleeping situation is, but going visiting, it's just always
- 21:57I just hate staying in other people's places. So they are great with us.
- 22:00Oh yeah, they roll out the red carpet for us, like,
- 22:03let us have exactly once you have the little kids, so you all have
- 22:07the nice room with the bathroom next to it. You know. I think
- 22:11my sister in laws are probably like, or really, why do they get
- 22:15all of that? At this point? You bought some kids and you will
- 22:18too. And we're going to Lawrence family in Duluth. My wife's family lives
- 22:22in Duluth. We have I don't think we've been there since we got married
- 22:25there, which is in like twenty nineteen. Really yeah, yeah, so
- 22:26it's it's long overdue, but I think we'll probably end up sleeping in you
- 22:30know, one of their kids bad twin beds at you know, one of
- 22:33the boys that you know, who, of course is I was a teen
- 22:36boy once. I know, I of farts. Gross. I know I
- 22:38had mentioned that my drive is like nine and a half hours, but even
- 22:41though yours a shorter, you might have a worse drive. Yeah, driving
- 22:45across Minnesota to Duluth is not the most amazing drive in the fall. It's
- 22:48gorgeous, but I mean, my god, you get there and it's like,
- 22:51okay, well this is worth it. I have a beautiful place.
- 22:53And you know comedian Matt Rife, Well, if you didn't like we were
- 22:57probably two months ago, all of a sudden he's blowing up Facebook and everybody's
- 23:02like he is the hottest thing. He is so good looking, but he's
- 23:04also funny. Well, he sold his tour out, his comedy tour out,
- 23:07like in a minute, and I'm like, I've never heard of this
- 23:11guy. How could this be if I don't know him. Surely he's not
- 23:14popular. Well, he had a lot of followers on TikTok and that's really
- 23:18how he became famous. But now he's talking about being physically attractive. So
- 23:22if you didn't like them, or if you were like us and you're like,
- 23:23oh whatever, you might not like him after this when he's saying basically
- 23:29people don't want to laugh at physically attractive people. You don't walk on the
- 23:33stage and people are looking at your arms rather than listening to your jokes.
- 23:36I think it just makes me work that much harder. Do you feel for
- 23:40the guy? I feel so bad for him, you know, being funny,
- 23:42good looking, just the full package, like we've all we've all got
- 23:48our burdens to carry, you know what I mean? And from Matt Rife,
- 23:51it's just being too great, damn good looking and funny and attractive and
- 23:56charming. No, it's not right than keep for sending your sympathies to him.
- 24:00I appreciate that. Well, listen, is there some way? Is
- 24:03there a gofund me? Is there somewhere I can donate? I know,
- 24:06I guess you just go to a show because I think the tickets were expenses.
- 24:08You know, I've yet to see him say something that made me laugh.
- 24:11But yeah, maybe he's funny. Do you know one of the guys
- 24:14just being hard on him. I'm probably saving his best stuff for the tour.
- 24:18And we saw yesterday Wheel of Fortune Live is coming to the Fargo Theater.
- 24:22This is going to be Saturday, May eighteenth. But all my friends
- 24:25were going, oh my gosh, yes, this is our chance to be
- 24:26on Wheel of Fortune. That is not the case. So this isn't for
- 24:30you to viye to be a part of the broadcast. This is actually just
- 24:34a touring production that's going to take over the Fargo Theater. So you get
- 24:37your tickets, you go there. You have a chance to solve puzzles if
- 24:41you get called up there, if you're in the audience, you can still
- 24:44win prizes. So it's super interactive. But I mean trips to Paris,
- 24:47Hawaii up to ten thousand dollars in cash. Vanna and Pat will not be
- 24:51there. We don't know who the presenters are, if it's anybody that we
- 24:52would even know that are going to be running though, Well, do you
- 24:56feel like you'd be good at it? When you play along on the show,
- 24:57do you feel like you're good? I feel like I'm so. The
- 25:00only thing that I struggle with I can get the puzzle. I would be
- 25:04struggling trying to remember what letters there were, like early on, oh what
- 25:08other people had already get Yeah, and knowing what they are that would make
- 25:12me a little nervous, and I think just under fire, I would get
- 25:15anxious. Yeah, and I would say, you know when you have to
- 25:17solve the puzzle and then you say it, and if you make any sort
- 25:18of mistake, it doesn't count. Like I would say something wrong and try
- 25:22to joke about it or do something. I would love to go there though
- 25:26before pat retires. Well, hey, where is it in La? Probably
- 25:32or what I think? So why go to La? Oh? Yeah,
- 25:34they go a lot of different places. Okay, well why go to LA
- 25:37when you can just go to the historic Fargo Theater. There you go.
- 25:40Weatherwise, today it's gonna be great. Go out on your lunch break,
- 25:45maybe leave work a little early. Sunny in sixty for this time a year,
- 25:48enjoy it.
