- 0:00SPEAKER_02: Well, this this is the week of the unexpected, let me tell you.
- 0:04SPEAKER_02: Good morning.
- 0:04SPEAKER_02: How are you?
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: Good, good, good.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: What do you mean?
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: What happened?
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: Well, all right.
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: Oh, Dolly.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: Well, okay, yeah, we got that.
- 0:10SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 0:10SPEAKER_02: Dolly I don't mean to make that sound like we're moving on, but no.
- 0:14SPEAKER_02: Did you see her streams?
- 0:15SPEAKER_02: This is no surprise.
- 0:17SPEAKER_02: Her streams are up twelve hundred percent of all her music.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: I listened to her a little bit yesterday.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: So did I.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: Zach and I have uh a Dolly song that we have had way before she died.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: And it is my favorite Dolly song.
- 0:31SPEAKER_00: You know, whenever that day that we get married, it's gonna be played like 19 times.
- 0:37SPEAKER_02: That's a bold statement.
- 0:38SPEAKER_02: The day we get married, all of a sudden we're there.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: Oh, eventually.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Very nice.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 0:44SPEAKER_02: Just I wasn't sure if anybody else caught that.
- 0:46SPEAKER_02: It was very I mean.
- 0:47SPEAKER_02: Well, all right.
- 0:47SPEAKER_02: That just happened.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: You know, when you know, you know.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: Okay, you know.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: You know.
- 0:52SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: Do you know what I mean?
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: Big things happening.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: And then are you gonna talk about the other death yesterday?
- 0:57SPEAKER_02: Well, uh, yes.
- 0:58SPEAKER_02: Uh okay, so forget Tim Curry.
- 1:01SPEAKER_02: Um weird looking dude.
- 1:04SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna start right there.
- 1:05SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh.
- 1:06SPEAKER_02: No, he had he had some Mike, you're a looker.
- 1:09SPEAKER_02: I well, weird looking dude right here, too.
- 1:12SPEAKER_02: No, uh, but really think about it.
- 1:14SPEAKER_02: When he was in Home Alone and all that, he had a very uh I d I don't even want to call it like an ogre look.
- 1:18SPEAKER_02: Like he had that sunken eyeball look.
- 1:20SPEAKER_02: He played the character perfect.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: He well, isn't he British?
- 1:24SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 1:25SPEAKER_02: What does that make you have sunken eyebrow eyeballs?
- 1:27SPEAKER_00: No, just that European look.
- 1:29SPEAKER_00: You know, somebody has this European look.
- 1:31SPEAKER_02: Well, I guess that you could put it like that, yeah.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: And also he was hello, and Rocky Horror Picture Show.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: Come on.
- 1:39SPEAKER_02: I don't see the streams of that increasing 1200%.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: Um, I can see it happening a lot, especially Clemens Center is doing Rocky Hore.
- 1:45SPEAKER_02: Yes, they are.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: Actually, don't they have one of the original cast members coming?
- 1:48SPEAKER_00: Magenta.
- 1:49SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's pretty cool.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 1:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that is pretty cool.
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: And then he also was in clue.
- 1:54SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: Now here's the sad thing.
- 1:56SPEAKER_02: Oh, I know where you're going with this.
- 1:57SPEAKER_02: I didn't know this until I saw it yesterday.
- 1:59SPEAKER_00: About how he had a stroke.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he had a stroke.
- 2:01SPEAKER_02: He was paralyzed.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he had a stroke back in 2012, and he's been in a wheelchair since, and he's had people caring for him for a very long time.
- 2:09SPEAKER_02: Did not stop working, though.
- 2:10SPEAKER_02: That was one of the things that was said yesterday when they were mentioning that he continued to do stuff.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: Didn't he do like a lot of voice work and whatnot?
- 2:17SPEAKER_02: I think so.
- 2:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:18SPEAKER_02: He had a very distinctive voice, too.
- 2:20SPEAKER_02: You know, not only the British accent, but it was very deep.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: It was, you know, it was sweet transvestite.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: That's the one thing that stands out about his voice is that he sang sweet transvestite.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: That's very funny.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 2:36SPEAKER_02: Oh, here.
- 2:37SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 2:37SPEAKER_02: Well, then we'll just we'll get this taken care of here.
- 2:40SPEAKER_02: Uh here.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: Just a sweet transvestite.
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: From transsexual transylvania.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: Just a sweet transvestida.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: Forgot this song.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: Transylvania.
- 3:08SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 3:09SPEAKER_01: Um, come up to the lab and see what's on the slab.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: I see you shiver with anticipation.
- 3:24SPEAKER_01: But maybe the rain! Listen to that.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: Is really to blame.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: So I'll remove the cause.
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: But not the symptom.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: All right, there you go.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: There's your tribute.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: I'm trying to find where is oh, here it is.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: October 29th, it's gonna be at the Clemens Center for one night only, right?
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: Right before Halloween.
- 3:49SPEAKER_02: So speaking of Halloween, he was also the original Pennywise in it.
- 3:53SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: I forgot about it.
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: See, that's one of those other things.
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: You know how yesterday you're like, oh, I forgot that Dolly did I Will Always Love You?
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: I forgot that he was the original on that.
- 4:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was pretty wild.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, for sure.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 4:06SPEAKER_00: So it's weird.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: Our family text message has been, oh, did you hear this person die?
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: Did you hear this person die?
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: And did you hear I thought we were gonna get another one yesterday?
- 4:16SPEAKER_02: Oh yes, you told me about it, and I'm like, oh no, here it comes.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: Oh no, no, no.
- 4:20SPEAKER_00: Are you talking about Barry Manilone?
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: No, no, that's just my prediction.
- 4:24SPEAKER_00: He is battling lung cancer.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: No, that's just my prediction.
- 4:26SPEAKER_00: No, another one that I saw that on at first I thought this person did die, but then it wasn't the case.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: Bruce Willis.
- 4:35SPEAKER_00: There was an article put out about Bruce Willis yesterday, how things are progressing with his dementia.
- 4:42SPEAKER_02: That unfortunately sort of happens that way from time to time.
- 4:46SPEAKER_02: It really can it can I hate to use the term take off, but that's the best way to describe it.
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: His daughter released an article that was published in People magazine, and I think that's what got people really chattering about that.
- 4:57SPEAKER_02: The picture of him at their wedding was really a beautiful picture.
- 5:00SPEAKER_02: It was wedding.
- 5:02SPEAKER_02: Uh well, his daughter.
- 5:03SPEAKER_00: Oh, I didn't see that.
- 5:04SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 5:04SPEAKER_02: They had it, they released it.
- 5:06SPEAKER_02: Oh, you know what?
- 5:06SPEAKER_02: It was the day you were out, it was one of the Mondays you were out.
- 5:09SPEAKER_02: And it was right after she had gotten married.
- 5:12SPEAKER_02: And uh who she married a guy that looks oddly like Tim Curry.
- 5:16SPEAKER_02: Um is a European.
- 5:18SPEAKER_02: I he's something.
- 5:20SPEAKER_02: Uh, but whatever, to each his own.
- 5:21SPEAKER_02: Uh but it was a very sweet picture.
- 5:23SPEAKER_02: He was like doing that kind of he was doing what he could do, like you know, kind of giving her a half-hug.
- 5:27SPEAKER_02: I don't think he could get much into it, but it was a very sweet picture.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: How crazy is that, now that you say that, that you go to your daughter's wedding.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: So if you have this dementia, because I just read about this dementia yesterday because there was a stand-up comic that I watched two nights ago, and her mom has the same exact thing.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: Oh man.
- 5:45SPEAKER_00: So some days you know your child and some days you don't.
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: Imagine being at that wedding and he doesn't know his daughter.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: Like you're walking her down the aisle, but you don't know why.
- 5:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 5:54SPEAKER_02: Like that You You hope for a good day.
- 5:57SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 5:58SPEAKER_00: That's really all you can do.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: That's all you can do is hope for a good day.
- 6:00SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: That's what that stand-up comedian said, too.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: Like the one day she came into the hospital or wherever her mom's staying and and said, I'm your daughter.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: And she was like, Are you sure?
- 6:11SPEAKER_02: Last time I checked, yes.
- 6:14SPEAKER_02: That's actually kind of funny.
- 6:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah, right.
- 6:16SPEAKER_00: Oh, she makes a part of her bit, which is really great.
- 6:19SPEAKER_00: Like, um, try again.
- 6:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 6:22SPEAKER_02: Try again.
