- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Beca Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio.
- 0:04Speaker 2: And two times People's Choice Award winning podcast. Hello everybody,
- 0:12Speaker 2: we are scrubbing in.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Happy Monday.
- 0:16Speaker 2: It's not just any Monday.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Tis not any Monday.
- 0:19Speaker 2: It's a Mark Monday, as it is Mark's birthday.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Happy Birthday, Mark, Happy Birthday.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Mark.
- 0:25Speaker 1: We love you. You are not with us today.
- 0:29Speaker 3: So he's at home, yes, celebrating correct I meant physically
- 0:34Speaker 3: yeah yeah, yeah.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Yeah, and in our hearts he's with us always always yeah, hope.
- 0:38Speaker 2: He's eating lots of pie.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Yeah, he loves pie, loves pie.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Tanya said, that's a red flag.
- 0:44Speaker 1: If I was dating a guy and he only ate
- 0:47Speaker 1: pie or only.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Liked pie, he doesn't only like pie was.
- 0:51Speaker 1: His favorite dessert, I'd say goodbye.
- 0:54Speaker 2: It's not a red flag, but it's like a it's
- 0:57Speaker 2: a it's a bit, you know the trend of with
- 0:59Speaker 2: base flogs.
- 1:01Speaker 1: It's really red. To be honest, the only time I
- 1:04Speaker 1: eat pie is on Thanksgiving, and I do it reguards
- 1:06Speaker 1: break grudgingly because it's part of the tradition.
- 1:09Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure one time we got Mark like an
- 1:11Speaker 2: assortment of pies and you were surely enjoying them as
- 1:15Speaker 2: we were all testing me before.
- 1:17Speaker 1: I will have a bite, but like, I would never
- 1:19Speaker 1: order a pie, do you know.
- 1:20Speaker 2: What I mean? We can't flag it as red.
- 1:24Speaker 1: It can be burgundy, shade of red, pink. Not to
- 1:29Speaker 1: put poo on Mark because it's his birthday.
- 1:31Speaker 2: No, no, no, he likes what he likes, and we like
- 1:33Speaker 2: that really defending himself right now. So we're doing this unfairly. Yeah,
- 1:44Speaker 2: what did you do this weekend?
- 1:45Speaker 1: Speaking of pie? Oh, I didn't need any pie, but
- 1:50Speaker 1: I went out to dinner this weekend at this new
- 1:52Speaker 1: restaurant kind of like buy our house, okay, and we're
- 1:55Speaker 1: having dinner. It's like so cute. It's kind of like
- 1:57Speaker 1: this like New York vibe but like in la okay.
- 2:00Speaker 1: And this girl walks over to our table and she's like, Hi,
- 2:05Speaker 1: I'm a scrubber love yes. And I was like, oh
- 2:09Speaker 1: my gosh, and she was I normally wouldn't interrupt, interrupt
- 2:13Speaker 1: you while you're eating, but I always know that you're
- 2:16Speaker 1: like always want people to come say hi. So anyways,
- 2:18Speaker 1: I wanted to give her a shot out. Her name
- 2:19Speaker 1: is Aaron, and she was so lovely and she was
- 2:22Speaker 1: like No, she does not live in LA. She lives
- 2:25Speaker 1: in New York or like New York adjacent. She was
- 2:27Speaker 1: visiting though, yes, yes, because she works for the the restaurant.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Oh yeah, she's like Bad Roman. Shout it out the
- 2:37Speaker 1: Bad Roman. It's called Bad Roman.
- 2:39Speaker 2: What kind of food?
- 2:41Speaker 1: So so I'm like not a foodie, you know, like
- 2:45Speaker 1: I'm surrounded by foody people in my life. I heard
- 2:48Speaker 1: that it's like Italian, but we had like pasta. We
- 2:52Speaker 1: had a delicious fish. I think it's like the Italian American.
- 2:57Speaker 1: I don't know, but it was delicious. We had a
- 2:59Speaker 1: really yummy stan shout out to Erin and amazing deserts.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Chef Robbie took a break.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Chef Robbie took a bro He was very fired by
- 3:07Speaker 1: the food though at Bad Roman.
- 3:09Speaker 2: I feel like we didn't talk about this last week,
- 3:11Speaker 2: but I think Robbie or maybe this happened after last
- 3:16Speaker 2: week's episode. But I reached out to Next Level Chef.
- 3:20Speaker 2: I DM to him on Instagram and was like, I
- 3:22Speaker 2: have someone I want to submit. Who do I contact
- 3:25Speaker 2: for casting?
- 3:25Speaker 1: Did they ever get back to They've never gotten back
- 3:27Speaker 1: to me, Next Level Chef. That is so rude.
- 3:30Speaker 2: I don't know who's running their account, and they might
- 3:32Speaker 2: take it off while it's not in. You know, they
- 3:34Speaker 2: might not be is on there. That's what I'm gonna say.
- 3:37Speaker 2: But if anyone knows that the casting at Next Level
- 3:41Speaker 2: Chef or a chef show adjacent, I want Robbie to
- 3:45Speaker 2: go on the show so badly.
- 3:46Speaker 1: So Next Level Chef worries me for Robbie because like
- 3:49Speaker 1: these people have thirty seconds to grab whatever ingredients. Like, yeah,
- 3:53Speaker 1: Robbie's not trained, you know, like he's like a home chef.
- 3:56Speaker 2: He's an artist.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Yes, yes, he's a creative, but that show makes me
- 4:01Speaker 1: nervous because I feel like it's all about the grab.
- 4:04Speaker 2: No, so my idea because that was he he also
- 4:08Speaker 2: said that was a fear of his. Yeah, And I said,
- 4:11Speaker 2: you and Tanya should do some training where you order
- 4:14Speaker 2: food and get like me, meat and then veggies and
- 4:17Speaker 2: random sauces and things, and he just has to create
- 4:20Speaker 2: something with those items you buy him, like it's training.
- 4:23Speaker 1: There's this other show that Bobby Flay hosts that's like Titans,
- 4:29Speaker 1: something Tightens, Triple Threat, I don't know, something like that,
- 4:31Speaker 1: but basically they give you two ingredients and you have
- 4:33Speaker 1: to like make a edition forty five minutes or whatever.
- 4:36Speaker 1: And I'm like, that's the thing that I think would
- 4:39Speaker 1: be hard for him, you know what I mean? Yeah,
- 4:42Speaker 1: that just like getting the random ingredients and having to
- 4:45Speaker 1: make because these people have been doing it for like decades.
- 4:48Speaker 2: As someone who's not watching Barbecue Brawl. Is that something
- 4:52Speaker 2: he could go on.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Barbecue Brall does feel more up his alley?
- 4:58Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, maybe could reach on to someone. Maybe that's
- 5:01Speaker 2: where we started.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Taking them in so many videos that they don't even
- 5:04Speaker 1: say thanks for the watch. I'm like watching you religiously
- 5:09Speaker 1: week to week.
- 5:10Speaker 2: That's crazy. Ah, they're not even saying things.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Work, doesn't be very engaged with their viewers, not like Survivor.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Well, to move on from that, I will continue to
- 5:23Speaker 2: pitch these things, but maybe we give him more time
- 5:25Speaker 2: to cook more from the heart.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Yeah, let me tell you, he's cooking from the heart.
- 5:30Speaker 1: I woke up over the weekend and he made me
- 5:32Speaker 1: like this. He saw it on TikTok. It was like
- 5:34Speaker 1: how to use rice paper and like make it kind
- 5:36Speaker 1: of like a bagel or something.
- 5:38Speaker 2: He made that with rice paper.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Yes, it was amazing. He like baked it. It was
- 5:44Speaker 1: like an egg sandwich, gluten free faux bagel. It was
- 5:48Speaker 1: so good. I just woke up to it. I woke
- 5:51Speaker 1: up like this.
- 5:52Speaker 2: I'm telling you he's got we we have a star
- 5:55Speaker 2: on our hand. We have started personality. He has style,
- 6:00Speaker 2: you know.
- 6:01Speaker 1: He's not just yeah, yeah, he's like do you know
- 6:03Speaker 1: Michael Bataggio. That totally might not be his name. I
- 6:05Speaker 1: think that's his name. Oh Sam, let me know if
- 6:08Speaker 1: that's wrong. He's like one of the big chefs on
- 6:10Speaker 1: the Food Network. But he's like cool. He's got like
- 6:12Speaker 1: tattoos and he's just like got cool hair, and he's
- 6:14Speaker 1: always wearing like just cool stuff.
- 6:16Speaker 2: Yeah. Speaking of cool stuff, have you tried any new
- 6:19Speaker 2: trends lately? Like you know how you walked with the
- 6:21Speaker 2: ipatches on and you felt just exposed that everyone knew
- 6:25Speaker 2: you were not I was a posers? Well, I mean,
- 6:29Speaker 2: I guess you're doing what everyone else is doing, so
- 6:30Speaker 2: you're not technically a poser because that would make everyone
- 6:34Speaker 2: else opposer.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Yeah, any new trends, I don't think so Why have
- 6:38Speaker 1: I have?
- 6:38Speaker 2: You know, because I saw this girl say that she
- 6:41Speaker 2: took a risk and wore a bandana. You know, the
- 6:43Speaker 2: look where you wear but like a bandana scarfled her
- 6:46Speaker 2: head and a guy was like called her whole cogin
- 6:51Speaker 2: may think of me, Like you finally take a risk
- 6:54Speaker 2: to try something, and you're you're already thinking everyone knows
- 6:58Speaker 2: that you're uncomfortable in your decision, and like she never
- 7:01Speaker 2: wears hat. This is her first summer hat. And then
- 7:04Speaker 2: you tried the bandana trend and someone says.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Spot and like a bathing suit with like a matching bandana,
- 7:11Speaker 1: Like it came as like a set and I was
- 7:13Speaker 1: just like, I can't pull that off. I know my strength,
- 7:16Speaker 1: you could pull off. Puh lease. Also, I would like
- 7:19Speaker 1: to clarify something. What about the dogs being out?
- 7:22Speaker 2: Yeah, the dogs have been out at work, Just so
- 7:25Speaker 2: y'all know, ton, Well, just let's go back a few episodes.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Tanya said she will not wear flip flops with her
- 7:31Speaker 2: dogs out because she is absolutely repulsed by the idea
- 7:35Speaker 2: of doing so, and so she's been a stickler about it.
- 7:40Speaker 2: She's been the toe police. She's been calling out others.
- 7:45Speaker 1: In a perfect world, Okay, in a perfect world, my
- 7:48Speaker 1: dogs would not need to be out. My dogs could
- 7:50Speaker 1: be covered. I could wear tennis shoes, I could wear
- 7:53Speaker 1: full bodies shoe what are they called?
- 7:55Speaker 2: Flats?
- 7:57Speaker 1: Close toad, thank you all the time. However, this summer
- 8:00Speaker 1: and it is sweltering hot in Los Angeles. Yeah, so
- 8:04Speaker 1: sometimes I have to have the dogs out. But I
- 8:06Speaker 1: want to clarify that I bring a pair of socks
- 8:09Speaker 1: with me in my purse at all times, and I
- 8:10Speaker 1: will put socks on when I'm at work. So if
- 8:14Speaker 1: I have sandals on at work, I will have socks
- 8:17Speaker 1: on with my sandals, and then I leave work I
- 8:19Speaker 1: take them off.
- 8:20Speaker 2: That's insane. What's the difference in just having a sneaker on? Then?
- 8:26Speaker 2: Why not just bring the flipflops in your car and
- 8:29Speaker 2: then when you leave the office you put those on. So, oh,
- 8:34Speaker 2: I got it. I got her a brain twister.
- 8:37Speaker 1: So it's hard to explain. But my whole obsession with
- 8:39Speaker 1: my feet being like covered is to keep my feet warm,
- 8:43Speaker 1: because I say warm feet is a warm uterus, and
- 8:45Speaker 1: a warm uterus as an inviting home for a child. Right,
- 8:49Speaker 1: So I've been obsessed with keeping my feet warm in
- 8:52Speaker 1: the summer. It's so hot that outside I don't i'm
- 8:57Speaker 1: I'm I'm overheated. So I'd like to keep my feet
- 9:00Speaker 1: cool to keep my body temperature a little bit cool.
- 9:02Speaker 1: But then when I'm inside this building that's like sixty degrees,
- 9:05Speaker 1: I'm cold. So then I put the socks back on.
- 9:07Speaker 2: I know. So I'm saying, why not put your sneakers
- 9:09Speaker 2: on with your socks at home?
- 9:11Speaker 1: Go to Sometimes sometimes I don't want to wear a sneaker.
- 9:14Speaker 1: I'd like to wear like a big, chunky, you know,
- 9:18Speaker 1: trendy shoe.
- 9:19Speaker 2: I know, but I'm saying in the office, a trendy shoe,
- 9:23Speaker 2: a trendy, clunky flip flop with a sock is not cool.
- 9:28Speaker 2: I don't cool. No, I'm just saying I'm not being cool.
- 9:33Speaker 2: You just said you want to be trendy.
- 9:34Speaker 1: It's not.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Basically, I've basically there's no excuse.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I have to hold my hands up and just
- 9:44Speaker 1: say that.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Wow, this is a huge moment. If you've been listening
- 9:48Speaker 2: to this podcast, she is raising her hands in defeat.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I the dogs do have to come out at some
- 9:54Speaker 1: point in your life. Unfortunately, I wish I could not
- 9:59Speaker 1: have them out, but in the summertime, I think they're
- 10:02Speaker 1: just gonna have to be out for all time.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Flats that are like the mesh flat, so you have
- 10:07Speaker 2: their breathable.
- 10:08Speaker 1: I know, so like, oh no, what's your issue there?
- 10:10Speaker 1: I'm just not a flat squirrel like I like to
- 10:13Speaker 1: wear socks with like my flats, you know. I can't
- 10:15Speaker 1: wear flats that have like the mesh or like the jellies.
- 10:18Speaker 1: I just feel like they get stinky and smelly and
- 10:20Speaker 1: like dirt gets in there.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Where are you going? Where are you going that? That's
- 10:28Speaker 2: you're getting dirt and.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Stinking fox just outside.
- 10:33Speaker 2: But a flip fop is fine.
- 10:35Speaker 1: A flip pop is gross too, but at least like
- 10:38Speaker 1: it's more breathable.
- 10:40Speaker 2: None of this is just Crystal is going to edit
- 10:43Speaker 2: this together beautifully, and that's where I find it exist.
- 10:47Speaker 1: I just need to know, like any scrubber listening, if
- 10:49Speaker 1: this makes sense to anybody, because it really makes sense
- 10:53Speaker 1: in my head.
- 10:54Speaker 2: Well, I think keeping your feet warm makes sense. I'm
- 10:56Speaker 2: not arguing with that. I'm just like, you could just
- 10:59Speaker 2: wear the socks in this used to the studio and
- 11:01Speaker 2: then bring in your flip flops because they're small.
- 11:03Speaker 1: You have quite Yeah, the slides I'm wearing today, like these.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Those are winter shoes.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Oh they are.
- 11:10Speaker 2: I mean I would say those are winter clogs, so.
- 11:13Speaker 1: They don't require a sock, like you could just wear these.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Ew what but I wear a sock. Yeah, same, I'm
- 11:21Speaker 2: not wearing anything like that without a sock.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Oh really yeah?
- 11:25Speaker 2: Okay, so you're not hot right now? Overheated being outside
- 11:31Speaker 2: and what you have on a long sleeve niche or jeans,
- 11:36Speaker 2: clogs and socks?
- 11:38Speaker 1: No, okay, so my I rest my case. But man,
- 11:48Speaker 1: people really hold you accountable on Instagram. All oh my gosh,
- 11:52Speaker 1: the dogs are out. The dogs are out. I'm like,
- 11:54Speaker 1: I know, I know in a perfect world they wouldn't
- 11:57Speaker 1: be out, but sometimes it.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Just it just knows. Accountability is not fun.
- 12:01Speaker 1: Sometimes accountability is key. And I'm gonna hold my hands
- 12:05Speaker 1: up and say that this summer the dogs will be up.
- 12:07Speaker 1: But I'm still not on high heels. I'm still wearing
- 12:10Speaker 1: like kitten heels and stuff.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Wait what does no, but what does that have to
- 12:16Speaker 2: do with the dogs?
- 12:17Speaker 1: All like footwear, but weear adjacent.
- 12:20Speaker 2: So no high heels above what?
- 12:23Speaker 1: No? No, no, like this, just a.
- 12:26Speaker 2: Two inch er kitten heels because of comfort, comfort not warmth.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Just done with it, done with hurting my feet for
- 12:35Speaker 1: the male gaze, thistmes.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Kitten heels hurt though it's almost like your heels balancing
- 12:40Speaker 2: on a cleat.
- 12:42Speaker 1: I find them to be quite nice.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Haley's also very into a kitten heel. She refuses to
- 12:48Speaker 2: go anything taller. Yeah, I'm my think about going somewhere.
- 12:52Speaker 2: When I'm dressing up. I will be as uncomfortable as
- 12:55Speaker 2: I need to be, as long as I feel.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm done with that phase of my life.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I am not put her to bed. No, I'm not.
- 13:03Speaker 1: She is tucked in waiting, waiting for me to come
- 13:06Speaker 1: back at some point. May not. She made me go
- 13:10Speaker 1: for good, She maye go for good. We'll see.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Well, looky for you. Kitten heels are in. I know
- 13:15Speaker 2: kind of the choice right now. A wedge is in.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Yes, you know a wedge, Yes, a wedge. I can
- 13:20Speaker 1: go sky high.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Yeah, this guy's limit just riveting content. You also went
- 13:26Speaker 2: to a coffee shop this weekend. Yes, tell me about that,
- 13:30Speaker 2: because that felt like a choice out of your.
- 13:33Speaker 1: Way, very out of my way. It was in Venice.
- 13:37Speaker 1: But it's like so funny because Robbie goes, I was
- 13:39Speaker 1: gonna surprise you this weekend, but it's like not that cool.
- 13:42Speaker 1: He's like I found for your birthday, No, just for
- 13:46Speaker 1: like last weekend, and uh, He's like, uh, I found
- 13:50Speaker 1: the goal from Love Island, USA. I found his coffee
- 13:54Speaker 1: shop in Venice, and I was gonna take you. And
- 13:57Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, I'm so glad that you didn't
- 13:59Speaker 1: like surprise me with this because I'd be like, okay,
- 14:04Speaker 1: but I really wanted to go, so oh my god.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Also we'll talk about the Love on filin Finale, which
- 14:09Speaker 1: we can get into a little bit later. But uh,
- 14:13Speaker 1: so we go. It's in Venice, it's a Saturday morning,
- 14:16Speaker 1: and we show up and there's a line like down
- 14:20Speaker 1: the block and Goll's not even there.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Wait, this is Saturday morning.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Yes, okay, and like not even like prime coffee time.
- 14:27Speaker 1: It was like eleven thirty in the morning. So I
- 14:30Speaker 1: figured by like the morning rush, i'd be fine if
- 14:33Speaker 1: I went, like after it was out and about. And
- 14:37Speaker 1: then I went and looked in the store to see
- 14:38Speaker 1: gall was even there. He was not even there. And
- 14:40Speaker 1: then I did and I was about to bribe the
- 14:43Speaker 1: woman in the front to just get I was like,
- 14:45Speaker 1: I'll pay for your coffee if you just give me one,
- 14:47Speaker 1: get me one. But I was getting dirty looks just
- 14:49Speaker 1: walking in there. So I was like, I'm just gonna
- 14:52Speaker 1: mine my p's and q's. But we left.
- 14:55Speaker 2: You didn't even get a coffee.
- 14:56Speaker 1: I didn't get a coffee. There is no way I'm
- 14:59Speaker 1: waiting in an hour less line for anything. I'm that's
- 15:04Speaker 1: coffee that I could get that's better at my house.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Why do I feel surprised that there was a line
- 15:08Speaker 2: down the street?
- 15:09Speaker 1: I was shocked, too, shook, But then I realized the
- 15:12Speaker 1: next day, the very next day, there was like some
- 15:16Speaker 1: sort of carnival going on at this coffee shop. There
- 15:19Speaker 1: was like a dunk tank. Goll was being dunked. Kinsey
- 15:22Speaker 1: was there, Dylan was there, Pepe I think was there.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Like it was like a whole Love Island reunion.
- 15:27Speaker 2: And I was excited about that. Yes, really like you
- 15:30Speaker 2: would have been. You would have waited in line.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Umm, I don't know, not waiting in line, but I
- 15:34Speaker 1: would have loved to see it all like going down. Yeah,
- 15:38Speaker 1: it's gotta be so weird.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Haley and I were talking about this last night because
- 15:43Speaker 2: I was saying, how weird it must be or in
- 15:45Speaker 2: this bubble and then you get out and like you
- 15:47Speaker 2: have no idea how you've been perceived for six weeks
- 15:51Speaker 2: with these people who are watching you every single night,
- 15:53Speaker 2: like you have no idea what how you're thought of?
- 15:55Speaker 1: Right, and you like have all you have.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Is America's votes, and you're kind of one. Like you
- 16:00Speaker 2: get in your head about it because you're like, what
- 16:02Speaker 2: are they not?
- 16:02Speaker 1: Like think about it. You're living your life there twenty
- 16:05Speaker 1: four to seven, so in your mind like everybody's seeing everything,
- 16:08Speaker 1: but we're only seeing little snippets of things.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, And then you get out and they give
- 16:13Speaker 2: your phone back and you're scrolling and you type in
- 16:16Speaker 2: your name, which I'm sure they did because like my
- 16:20Speaker 2: experience when I went on The Bachelor was before I
- 16:23Speaker 2: went on, it had been leaked kind of some of
- 16:25Speaker 2: the people going on, and people were so nice to me,
- 16:28Speaker 2: and then there was like as the season went on
- 16:31Speaker 2: and people liked other people more and we're rooting for
- 16:33Speaker 2: other people, the reddit threads.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Got nasty more like just like I don't like back.
- 16:37Speaker 2: You know, I like so and so more. And so
- 16:39Speaker 2: I quickly was like, I'm not going to look at
- 16:41Speaker 2: reddit threads anymore because what good is what if the
- 16:45Speaker 2: positive ones aren't what's sticking in my mind? Why am
- 16:48Speaker 2: I looking at that? But I imagine them not seeing
- 16:52Speaker 2: anything before and then getting off and it just being
- 16:55Speaker 2: these think pieces, these psychoanalysis of them. It's like the
- 17:01Speaker 2: weirdest feeling I imagine. And then they go to this
- 17:04Speaker 2: don't take it their friends.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Coffee shop and everybody's like wanting a selfie. You would
- 17:10Speaker 1: definitely get a selfie. I would have been like, Kenzie,
- 17:13Speaker 1: you inspired me to start learning how to do the
- 17:14Speaker 1: splits again.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Is that a new journey we're on.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Yeah, it's really hard.
- 17:18Speaker 2: That's not feeling tender.
- 17:20Speaker 1: I'm not like pushing it. I'm just like laying letting
- 17:22Speaker 1: gravity do its thing with my legs. But it's tough.
- 17:25Speaker 1: I'm not far along. It's been one week.
- 17:28Speaker 2: Well you should document this.
- 17:30Speaker 1: It's really tough. I don't think I might ever get
- 17:32Speaker 1: down all the way, but I'm gonna try so you.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Those people would would just Kenzy would have excited you,
- 17:38Speaker 2: or you would have been excited about all those people.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Uh Dylan don't need him, Uh goll don't need him.
- 17:45Speaker 1: I would be excited about Kenzie Jen Pepe.
- 17:49Speaker 2: I will say I appreciate Gall and Jen playing into
- 17:54Speaker 2: the dynamic. They did a really fun, like hot photo
- 17:59Speaker 2: shoot and into the dynamic of him being a do
- 18:03Speaker 2: a douche and her like playing into that, and I
- 18:07Speaker 2: enjoy that he's he's really leaning into it with humor,
- 18:10Speaker 2: which she do.
- 18:11Speaker 1: I appreciate that too.
- 18:12Speaker 2: You can't come on and cry about the hay when
- 18:15Speaker 2: you were not a polite gentleman on TV. And he's
- 18:20Speaker 2: doing the right he's handling it the.
- 18:21Speaker 1: Right way and also letting her like be the star
- 18:25Speaker 1: the star.
- 18:26Speaker 2: And also I have to shout out his coffee shop
- 18:29Speaker 2: because the way they ran that and ran the social
- 18:31Speaker 2: media during it was so impressive. They were calling him
- 18:36Speaker 2: out on what he was doing. And then they one
- 18:39Speaker 2: day it was if you were named Jen you could
- 18:42Speaker 2: get a free coffee at their shop.
- 18:44Speaker 1: No way.
- 18:45Speaker 2: So they did a really good job with marketing. So
- 18:47Speaker 2: I do. I do like how they've yeah Saba Saba surf.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Surf or something like that. Yeah, yeah, I went there.
- 18:54Speaker 2: Well was instant, she was there on a Saturday.
- 19:00Speaker 1: You know what else I really love? I love and
- 19:05Speaker 1: the trend or like the people all the businesses. I
- 19:08Speaker 1: love when companies like get involved with pop culture stuff. Okay,
- 19:11Speaker 1: so all the companies were posting like I can't remember exactly,
- 19:14Speaker 1: but like let's say it with Delta. Melanie will give
- 19:17Speaker 1: you free flights for a year if you dump this guy,
- 19:20Speaker 1: and like Orange Theory was like, we'll give you unlimited
- 19:23Speaker 1: classes if you dump this guy. Like everybody was jumping
- 19:26Speaker 1: in on it. Yeah, and this girl, pardon my absence
- 19:32Speaker 1: of her name, is it Teffie the girl that Yeah,
- 19:37Speaker 1: she went on this like high horse about how we
- 19:40Speaker 1: shouldn't shame a woman and like how terrible that is.
- 19:44Speaker 1: I don't watch after Son, so this is just the clips,
- 19:46Speaker 1: so don't come at me. But I'm like, it's not
- 19:48Speaker 1: that we're shaming Melanie at all. It's we are trying
- 19:52Speaker 1: to empower her to see her worth.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Like totally we.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Know that this guy is gonna end up screwing in
- 20:00Speaker 1: the end. Like if if Melanie and since here make
- 20:03Speaker 1: it to the reunion, I will eat my words and
- 20:06Speaker 1: I will stand on it and I will say I
- 20:07Speaker 1: was wrong. But this guy is going to hurt her.
- 20:10Speaker 1: So we're trying to empower her to realize that, like
- 20:13Speaker 1: she's so much better than this and like to get
- 20:16Speaker 1: out of her own head and like wake up and
- 20:18Speaker 1: smell the roses.
- 20:20Speaker 2: And here's the thing she could have just been, Like
- 20:23Speaker 2: this is the only way I'm going to the finale
- 20:26Speaker 2: if there's any chance is if I stay in this
- 20:28Speaker 2: couple and I want to see I want to want
- 20:30Speaker 2: a hundred thou like it could have been that she
- 20:32Speaker 2: could have had that mindset of being like, I don't
- 20:34Speaker 2: want to leave, and if I leave, then if.
- 20:37Speaker 1: She's that, if she's like that, then she's not the
- 20:41Speaker 1: Melanie I thought she was. If I'm being honest, if
- 20:45Speaker 1: that's what her mindset was, she's not the Melanie I
- 20:48Speaker 1: thought she was.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I think the whole thing I mean, and we
- 20:50Speaker 2: watch her mom basically say why would you give him
- 20:54Speaker 2: so many chances when someone's waiting for their first bars
- 20:58Speaker 2: were drawn.
- 20:59Speaker 1: And the sister begging her to leave. I'm like, and
- 21:01Speaker 1: she's like, I'm just gonna follow my heart. I'm like,
- 21:04Speaker 1: oh my god, there's the thing.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Maybe it will take me in the real world, out
- 21:08Speaker 2: of the bubble and him having a phone for her
- 21:11Speaker 2: to realize and she'll be like, hey, y'all were right,
- 21:15Speaker 2: but I had to do what I had to do. Yeah,
- 21:17Speaker 2: and I wish them the best.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Okay, So I guess we're talking about the Love Island finale,
- 21:23Speaker 1: So let's take a break. Let's get into the Love
- 21:25Speaker 1: Island finale and then.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Talk about the prize money.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Oh my god, me too. But I did a chat
- 21:31Speaker 1: YOUBT this morning. I am appalled.
- 21:32Speaker 2: Okay, let's take a break.
- 21:34Speaker 1: Wait, and then before that, I want deep teas a
- 21:36Speaker 1: second thing, because there was two Facebook questions about the
- 21:39Speaker 1: wedding that we didn't ask you last week, and they're
- 21:42Speaker 1: so good that I'm like, I just need to ask them.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Okay, get it off your chest.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I just get it off my chest.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Okay, all right, we'll be right back. We're back, We're back. Okay,
- 22:09Speaker 2: So Love you did it? What was your deep research on?
- 22:13Speaker 1: So Love Island USA?
- 22:15Speaker 2: Right?
- 22:15Speaker 1: Spoiler alert If you have not watched the finale, you
- 22:17Speaker 1: might want to just scroll along because we will discuss
- 22:20Speaker 1: who won. Yeah, Bryce and Trinity, Yeah, Brinityrinity. They won
- 22:27Speaker 1: the one hundred thousand dollars. No one surprised, No one surprised.
- 22:32Speaker 1: In fact, I'm happy to have this season wrapped up
- 22:35Speaker 1: and out of my way. To be honest, it was
- 22:39Speaker 1: a it was a.
- 22:40Speaker 2: There was trying moments to get through.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Yes, as a as a Love Island loyalist, this season
- 22:47Speaker 1: was a disaster. However, However, the one hundred thousand dollars.
- 22:54Speaker 1: So every season of Love Island they have won USA,
- 22:59Speaker 1: they win one hundred thousand. Yes, I guarantee you that
- 23:04Speaker 1: the spike they had in view now that this show
- 23:07Speaker 1: is like the number one streaming show the summer starting
- 23:11Speaker 1: season six is when it really like popped off season six,
- 23:14Speaker 1: season seven and now this season, they couldn't like double
- 23:17Speaker 1: the prize money at least or give them each one
- 23:20Speaker 1: hundred thousand each one hundred thousand, or like, because think
- 23:23Speaker 1: about it, if they're splitting one hundred thousand, that's fifty
- 23:25Speaker 1: thousand each. After taxes, that's thirty thousand dollars each.
- 23:28Speaker 2: I mean the music budget alone, they could they could
- 23:31Speaker 2: eliminate five songs and at a second paycheck.
- 23:35Speaker 1: This is the biggest show on the planet right now,
- 23:39Speaker 1: and they're not increasing the prize money. I was befuddled.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Haley was like last night, she goes, why is there
- 23:48Speaker 2: money at the end? Like why your point?
- 23:50Speaker 1: I honestly agree, I'm like they should. It's about finding love.
- 23:54Speaker 1: The money makes it like weird.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Actually, she goes, it's hard for me to buy any
- 23:58Speaker 2: of this because there's a eyes at the end that
- 24:00Speaker 2: they're going for.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Yeah, so now okay, now I'm gonna stand on this.
- 24:05Speaker 1: There should be no money one, she says.
- 24:09Speaker 2: Either raised either add more to the bucket or eliminated.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Survivor even gets a million for the winner. It's survivors
- 24:16Speaker 1: getting a mill.
- 24:17Speaker 2: I think what you have to put your body through,
- 24:19Speaker 2: in mind through and survivor is way more significant than love.
- 24:23Speaker 2: They're in like a.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Yeah, getting their emotions toyed around and tossed around by
- 24:31Speaker 1: these bruhs, mentally challenging. If I do say so myself,
- 24:40Speaker 1: Now I want survivor. They'll give you them like scarfs and stuff, Oh.
- 24:43Speaker 2: My god, the abundance of riches.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Like the old seasons, survivor like people were. They didn't
- 24:49Speaker 1: have clothes like they were wearing the buffs of T shirts.
- 24:52Speaker 1: They were all like dirted up. They had like bug
- 24:54Speaker 1: bites all over them. Now they're like in like blazers
- 24:56Speaker 1: and luxury chilies.
- 24:58Speaker 2: They get a chili.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Yeah, they're not surviving like they used to. Let me
- 25:04Speaker 1: tell you.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Okay, so your take is they either add more they
- 25:08Speaker 2: have enough money to add to increase the prize at
- 25:11Speaker 2: the end, yes, or we just eliminate the money.
- 25:15Speaker 1: No money, no money. I'm back. I'm honestly no money.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I just don't get the is that the UK too?
- 25:23Speaker 2: They had money, but the way that.
- 25:25Speaker 1: They used to do it is like one person would
- 25:27Speaker 1: get the one hundred thousand, the other person would get nothing,
- 25:30Speaker 1: and then the person that got one hundred thousand would
- 25:31Speaker 1: decide if they want to like share.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Yeah, it would happen. I don't even he would win
- 25:37Speaker 2: and then not all.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Yeah, they didn't even do that this year.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Oh they I haven't seen in season where they did that.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Uh where somebody kept it?
- 25:47Speaker 2: Did they do that with a Maya?
- 25:49Speaker 1: Yeah? I think so, and they split it?
- 25:52Speaker 2: That was a damn I think.
- 25:55Speaker 1: UK there's been a couple of seasons where uh, they's
- 26:00Speaker 1: just elite. I'm sorry, it's just downright okay.
- 26:04Speaker 2: So you were you rooting for Trinity and Bryce.
- 26:07Speaker 1: I guess like you're cute whatever.
- 26:10Speaker 2: If the cheats no or not, or if someone does
- 26:12Speaker 2: something dirty in that relationship me to be really disappointed.
- 26:15Speaker 1: The only thing I could think of, and it's so annoying.
- 26:18Speaker 1: I hate that Kenzie said this, but in the first.
- 26:21Speaker 2: The turtle tongue, the turtle they kiss, I think of it.
- 26:25Speaker 1: It's the only thing I can think of with Bryce
- 26:27Speaker 1: now is that he has this like turtle tongue and
- 26:29Speaker 1: he's like this like weird kisser, and I'm like, Trinity
- 26:32Speaker 1: is better than that, but he's yeah, I agree.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Very respect seems very respectful towards women.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Like you love Bryce, I agree.
- 26:41Speaker 2: And his mom when his grandma said turtle tongue and
- 26:43Speaker 2: he didn't know what she was talking about, I was like, no,
- 26:49Speaker 2: so sad, and he was like, turtle tongue.
- 26:52Speaker 3: But most of the visits, no, the mom, the grandma
- 26:55Speaker 3: yells up because Kensey goes, we love Bryce, and the
- 26:58Speaker 3: grandma goes, even with this turntle tongue, and then Bryce
- 27:01Speaker 3: is going, turtle tongue.
- 27:03Speaker 2: What is that? I don't know what that means.
- 27:05Speaker 1: That's gonna be a hard pill to swallow when he
- 27:07Speaker 1: comes out.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yeah, he'll be okay. Anaya and Carl came
- 27:11Speaker 2: in second, which I felt like they were really trying
- 27:14Speaker 2: to force this illness, and I just do not buy
- 27:17Speaker 2: their connection.
- 27:19Speaker 1: I'm so it's like so shitty because I feel like
- 27:23Speaker 1: I should appreciate the fact that there was this like warm,
- 27:26Speaker 1: lovely gentleman who like cried for Anaya and was like
- 27:30Speaker 1: it's okay, Anaya, but I'm like, there's something that I
- 27:32Speaker 1: just don't believe it.
- 27:33Speaker 2: It's too perfect.
- 27:34Speaker 1: It's too perfect.
- 27:35Speaker 2: He's so handsome, he's so intelligent, he's so well spoken,
- 27:39Speaker 2: he's so kind.
- 27:40Speaker 1: I'm like, is this and I just feel like men
- 27:43Speaker 1: have such egos. You're telling me that she didn't pick him,
- 27:46Speaker 1: and then he just comes back to the villain. He's like, yes, Anaya,
- 27:49Speaker 1: I'm coming back to you, girl.
- 27:51Speaker 2: I have no issue with them. I just didn't buy
- 27:55Speaker 2: the like maybe it was too juice, but like she
- 27:58Speaker 2: wanted Casey and then Carl came back, she had no
- 28:01Speaker 2: other choice.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it felt forced, But honestly, who else would
- 28:07Speaker 1: win second? Molinie and Sincere No Kada and Zach.
- 28:12Speaker 2: No, No, I didn't. I don't personally like I'm not
- 28:15Speaker 2: obsessed with Kada and Zach, but they were consistantly together
- 28:18Speaker 2: the whole time.
- 28:19Speaker 1: That guy is such a little weasel. I agree, I cannot, No,
- 28:24Speaker 1: I agree, cannot I.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Agree, But I'm just saying I I think in terms
- 28:29Speaker 2: of what the show and the premise is, they would
- 28:32Speaker 2: have been second.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Yeah, no, because his connection and costin more got sent
- 28:36Speaker 1: home had she not been sent home. I think it
- 28:39Speaker 1: would have been a very different outcome if I mean so,
- 28:41Speaker 1: I think he was obsessed with her. They were like
- 28:43Speaker 1: they what stupid, what's the thing they watched Spider Man
- 28:46Speaker 1: or something. She's like, yeah, I just watched all this
- 28:48Speaker 1: Marvel Marvel movies they have cats and like it was
- 28:51Speaker 1: like he was like.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Oh, I think he would have when the decision came
- 28:55Speaker 2: down to it, he would have come back to Cada.
- 28:57Speaker 1: You do I do.
- 28:58Speaker 2: That's what I think. But either way, I'm I also
- 29:01Speaker 2: find him to be a weasel. I'm just saying in
- 29:03Speaker 2: terms of what the concept is of the show, I
- 29:05Speaker 2: felt like they're really trying to be like Carlon and
- 29:08Speaker 2: I are made for each other in this week and
- 29:10Speaker 2: a happy I'm happy the.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Way that it shook out for a second, third and fourth.
- 29:14Speaker 2: Okay, I would have put Melanie in sincere.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Fourth, like that's our top four? Like what are we doing?
- 29:23Speaker 2: I know, I know it's a wrap.
- 29:25Speaker 1: On this season. August thirty first, you think I'm in
- 29:28Speaker 1: a care or want to know what's going on with
- 29:30Speaker 1: these people? In August thirty first, talk to me about
- 29:33Speaker 1: that decision.
- 29:34Speaker 2: I was gagging during the food Challenge.
- 29:36Speaker 1: They did and then fast forwarded through it.
- 29:38Speaker 2: But then I was I have not laughed so hard
- 29:41Speaker 2: watching a show like that when they did the slip
- 29:43Speaker 2: and slide.
- 29:45Speaker 1: Run missed it?
- 29:46Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, Tanya.
- 29:48Speaker 1: Yeah, it's tough. It's you know, I am a tough critic.
- 29:51Speaker 1: And when you lose me, you lose me. Yes, you
- 29:55Speaker 1: know who hasn't lost me? Love Island UK?
- 29:58Speaker 2: Where we are.
- 30:00Speaker 1: The hell in on Love Island?
- 30:02Speaker 2: Are we on?
- 30:04Speaker 1: Two new bombshells just entered yesterday? After Cass some more?
- 30:07Speaker 1: Who to thunk?
- 30:08Speaker 2: I know? I need Love Island the USA to really.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Step it up next season? That call me? Do you
- 30:15Speaker 1: think it's I'd love to be behind the scenes on
- 30:17Speaker 1: that show?
- 30:18Speaker 2: What do you think it is that there that there
- 30:20Speaker 2: weren't more bombshells this season? Is it that people aren't
- 30:23Speaker 2: trying to be on the show? It feels like so
- 30:25Speaker 2: many people are trying.
- 30:26Speaker 1: There's so many people trying. I know a girl that
- 30:28Speaker 1: was the audition to be on this show, and she's
- 30:31Speaker 1: so cute and she would have been so like she
- 30:34Speaker 1: would have been a star. Silly casting directors who you
- 30:38Speaker 1: don't know her?
- 30:39Speaker 2: Oh, a star?
- 30:41Speaker 1: She would have been a star.
- 30:42Speaker 2: I wish we had a scrubber that would go on,
- 30:44Speaker 2: we need a scrubber side.
- 30:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I do think i'd be great in the behind
- 30:50Speaker 1: the scenes, like producing that show. Not to toot my own.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Horn, don't you would it? You would not like manipulating people.
- 30:56Speaker 1: I don't think I would love casting people. Yeah, I
- 31:00Speaker 1: would love like sending in people who were like, like,
- 31:03Speaker 1: you know how they said, like Kenzie was talking about
- 31:06Speaker 1: how she loves like a cowboy and then they sent
- 31:09Speaker 1: in Caleb. I love that stuff.
- 31:12Speaker 2: Oh a casting like Piggy. Yeah, it's a fun job. Yeah,
- 31:16Speaker 2: it feels like a fun job. Have you speaking of producers,
- 31:20Speaker 2: have you seen the producer from the Bachelor who wrote
- 31:22Speaker 2: the book about, yes, her relationship with pilot Pete.
- 31:26Speaker 1: What are you?
- 31:26Speaker 2: What are your thoughts on that?
- 31:28Speaker 1: I would be remiss to say that I have been
- 31:30Speaker 1: following in great detail, but you have. I have not.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Oh what have you seen about it.
- 31:37Speaker 1: That she wrote a book about their like love affair? Yeah?
- 31:40Speaker 1: I guess they had like a thing after the season wrapped.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Yeah, you seem to know more than you're leading on.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Oh, but that's all I know. But what's the whole scrifuffle?
- 31:52Speaker 1: He can't talk because he's under NDA or something like that.
- 31:55Speaker 2: I think he can talk. I think he I think
- 31:58Speaker 2: he asked her not to release It was just like,
- 32:01Speaker 2: you know, this is this is like a thing we
- 32:04Speaker 2: went through, and you know, I don't know that I
- 32:06Speaker 2: need you to put all the details out there about
- 32:09Speaker 2: our I guess I saw a thing that they slept
- 32:11Speaker 2: together twice or hooked up twice after the show was done, though.
- 32:15Speaker 1: I know, didn't he pick somebody?
- 32:17Speaker 2: Yeah, but you remember it was like he wanted Maddie
- 32:20Speaker 2: and then Maddie left and so he chose Hannah Ann
- 32:22Speaker 2: and then they broke up and he ended up with Kelly.
- 32:24Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. There was a lot going all
- 32:26Speaker 1: the pilot, Pete.
- 32:29Speaker 2: But so then watch where.
- 32:30Speaker 1: Your pickle's going before you like get on somebody else's
- 32:35Speaker 1: case about sharing her side of the story, like get
- 32:38Speaker 1: out of here.
- 32:39Speaker 2: You know what it is, It's that all actions have consequences,
- 32:42Speaker 2: and everyone, unfortunately, whether it is making you look good
- 32:47Speaker 2: or not, everyone has the right to tell their side
- 32:50Speaker 2: of the story. But I think it is important to
- 32:52Speaker 2: remember that, like with every story, there's two sides, two sides.
- 32:56Speaker 1: And then then there's a third.
- 32:59Speaker 2: Then there's the third.
- 33:00Speaker 1: But I'm just curious, like, why now, why is she
- 33:02Speaker 1: like doing this now?
- 33:03Speaker 2: This?
- 33:04Speaker 1: What year was that? Like it feels a long time ago.
- 33:07Speaker 2: It was before COVID twenty nineteen.
- 33:09Speaker 1: Yeah, so like, why is she doing this now?
- 33:13Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 33:14Speaker 1: I'm here for it. Women, share your story, but yeah,
- 33:17Speaker 1: it just feels like odd timing. You know, I haven't
- 33:19Speaker 1: heard pilot pizza name in a minute.
- 33:22Speaker 2: Well, I mean I guess to get uh to write
- 33:24Speaker 2: a book and to get the oh yeah, I publishing
- 33:27Speaker 2: and all the things, as you know, it takes some time, like.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Yeah, three years all in, yeah, which would take us
- 33:34Speaker 1: a twenty Oh my gosh.
- 33:35Speaker 2: Yeah. I just I was like, you know, like three
- 33:38Speaker 2: years ago, but that's been Yeah.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Maybe she was under NDA too.
- 33:43Speaker 2: As a as a producer. If you've watched one Real,
- 33:46Speaker 2: I think there's a lot of truth to that show
- 33:49Speaker 2: in terms of like what goes on behind us.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe she had an NDA, which is why now
- 33:53Speaker 1: she can come out.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Yeah. Maybe did you see that Kristen Cavalari said her
- 33:58Speaker 2: friend's fly her kids coach while she's in first Yes,
- 34:03Speaker 2: what are your thoughts on this?
- 34:05Speaker 1: I was I just could never I just don't think
- 34:09Speaker 1: I could ever do that. But good on her for
- 34:11Speaker 1: like teaching. I feel like she's trying to teach her
- 34:13Speaker 1: kids like.
- 34:16Speaker 2: She's trying to teach some financial responsibility.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Yeah, and she doesn't want things just to come easy,
- 34:21Speaker 1: like work for it. But I just couldn't imagine sitting
- 34:25Speaker 1: in first class with the rest of my family, like
- 34:27Speaker 1: sitting and coach. I would just sit and coach with them.
- 34:30Speaker 2: Her quote, her quote is it's good for them, she said,
- 34:32Speaker 2: adding that the little things like that as a parent
- 34:35Speaker 2: make ultimately, I think a big difference in the long run.
- 34:38Speaker 2: My kids don't just get whatever they want, and if
- 34:40Speaker 2: they want something, they have to work for it, she said.
- 34:42Speaker 2: Last summer, one started a window washing business and the
- 34:45Speaker 2: other washed garbage canstone their money. No, that's not going
- 34:48Speaker 2: to get your first class season.
- 34:49Speaker 1: No, no, no no. And that's what I'm saying, Like
- 34:51Speaker 1: I understand her not putting all of them in first
- 34:53Speaker 1: with her, Like I do get that, right, that seems
- 34:57Speaker 1: I never sat first class until I was an adult,
- 35:00Speaker 1: But to sit in first of all your kids are
- 35:02Speaker 1: in coach is so iconic. I just don't think I
- 35:06Speaker 1: could ever do it.
- 35:07Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, I don't. I don't know. I don't
- 35:10Speaker 2: know how if I would be able to do it either,
- 35:12Speaker 2: but I kind of love it. I like they're safe.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Another thing would be I don't know how they're not.
- 35:21Speaker 1: They're totally fine.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Oh. I was like, I don't know how old they are.
- 35:24Speaker 1: But no, she's not like checking a three year old
- 35:27Speaker 1: in the back of the pla.
- 35:30Speaker 2: Are they over five? Yes?
- 35:33Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, they're like don't quote me on this,
- 35:36Speaker 1: but I think they're in there, like thirteen, twelve, ten,
- 35:39Speaker 1: like in that range.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Okay, Yeah, she's just sending kids wreaking havoc to the
- 35:44Speaker 2: back like y'all can do with them.
- 35:46Speaker 1: Yeah, no, no, no, they're definitely old, old enough to be
- 35:49Speaker 1: on their own.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Michael turned forty this weekend and brit through him a
- 35:54Speaker 2: fortieth birthday party. I saw that and it was so funny.
- 35:58Speaker 2: They did in the backyard, which is so fun Yeah,
- 36:03Speaker 2: it's so I love hibachi food, you do, Oh my gosh,
- 36:06Speaker 2: I love it.
- 36:07Speaker 1: It's such bad diarrhea.
- 36:09Speaker 2: I bet it's very greasy, yeah, lots of oil, oh,
- 36:13Speaker 2: but delicious. Like I caught they did the thing where
- 36:18Speaker 2: they tossed the chicken, you know, and you have to
- 36:20Speaker 2: catch it.
- 36:21Speaker 1: I caught mine naturally an athlete.
- 36:24Speaker 2: You do what you have to do around there. But
- 36:27Speaker 2: the first one he threw it went far and I
- 36:29Speaker 2: tried to still catch it, and it like solid. The
- 36:32Speaker 2: grease of books slid across my cheek. So I was like,
- 36:36Speaker 2: that's not good.
- 36:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I was out of the Benny Hannah was like
- 36:39Speaker 1: the kids. I think it was like their favorite restaurant
- 36:42Speaker 1: for a minute. Yeah, But I came into the picture
- 36:46Speaker 1: slightly after that.
- 36:48Speaker 2: Oh after Benny Hannah.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I never had to go to Benny Hannah. We
- 36:52Speaker 1: did a hibachi for one of their birthdays with like
- 36:54Speaker 1: his friends, so we didn't sit at the table because
- 36:57Speaker 1: it was just like him and his friends.
- 36:59Speaker 2: I love.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Yeah, tough, it's tough on the intestines.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Wait what was your other teas that you wanted to
- 37:06Speaker 2: ask about?
- 37:06Speaker 1: Oh?
- 37:07Speaker 2: I think we meant to take another break. Okay.
- 37:09Speaker 1: There were two questions in the Facebook group about the
- 37:12Speaker 1: royal wedding that we didn't ask you last week.
- 37:15Speaker 2: And I'm gonna share everything.
- 37:18Speaker 1: I think you'll share these two.
- 37:19Speaker 2: Oh wow, ok yeah, they're very general, vague.
- 37:22Speaker 1: Non invasive, and just have to do with you.
- 37:24Speaker 2: Oh great, Yeah, Okay, Well we're going to take another
- 37:27Speaker 2: break and we'll be right back.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Great, we're back. Okay. So, uh I saw this in
- 37:52Speaker 1: the Facebook group, and uh I will fall on the
- 37:56Speaker 1: sword with this one. I was off my game last
- 37:58Speaker 1: week with my questions for you, okay, because we were
- 38:03Speaker 1: in a little bit of a scuffle, you and I.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Yeah, what y'all don't know is that we were in
- 38:10Speaker 2: a tiff.
- 38:11Speaker 1: We were in a tiff, you know, behind the scenes.
- 38:16Speaker 1: You know, it's so funny what I was fuming at
- 38:18Speaker 1: you for not telling me. Paulina was fuming at me
- 38:22Speaker 1: for not telling her that you were going. I was like,
- 38:24Speaker 1: I didn't even know. Yeah, So everyone who was fuming
- 38:30Speaker 1: last weekend.
- 38:31Speaker 2: It was tense, tense times.
- 38:33Speaker 1: I would like to say thank you so much for
- 38:34Speaker 1: the scrubbers that did reach out to me. I thought
- 38:37Speaker 1: I was gonna get a lot of hate. I was
- 38:39Speaker 1: prepared to get a lot of hate for being for
- 38:41Speaker 1: being mad at you about that. People are gonna be like.
- 38:46Speaker 2: How mad you were based on our podcast.
- 38:48Speaker 1: No, they did because I had a lot of d MS.
- 38:50Speaker 1: I was shook by the d MS of people being
- 38:52Speaker 1: like I would be just as hurt and upset like
- 38:55Speaker 1: I could hear it in your voice.
- 38:57Speaker 2: They don't know, though, Thank you.
- 39:00Speaker 1: I just want to say, because I want to take
- 39:01Speaker 1: accountability that I was not on my game last week.
- 39:04Speaker 1: So I saw these two questions in the Facebook group
- 39:06Speaker 1: that I thought were really interesting that we didn't ask you.
- 39:09Speaker 1: The first one was did you cry at the wedding?
- 39:12Speaker 1: M you did, like lots of tears. No, no, but
- 39:16Speaker 1: did you want my wedding or tailors your weddy? Okay, okay, okay,
- 39:20Speaker 1: just had to make that clear. And then the second
- 39:23Speaker 1: question was did you get any inspo from their wedding
- 39:27Speaker 1: that you want to do at your wedding? Yes, the
- 39:32Speaker 1: vibes like you want it to be as fun.
- 39:34Speaker 2: I wanted to be fun. Yeah, I loved the vibes.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Yeah yeah. Any other inspo colors, detail, yeah, like any
- 39:44Speaker 1: of the traditional wedding ceremony things, bridesmaids, et cetera. I okay,
- 39:52Speaker 1: as I would think you would. Yeah.
- 39:56Speaker 2: Did you have anything else that you were didn't feel
- 39:59Speaker 2: like you asked?
- 40:00Speaker 1: Well, I mean, yeah, there's so much, but I know
- 40:01Speaker 1: you can't say anything, so I'm out of my respect
- 40:04Speaker 1: for you and your privacy.
- 40:06Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, I thought those two were very like, well,
- 40:11Speaker 2: it's so funny because I didn't say anything, and then
- 40:13Speaker 2: us Weekly writes up back untill Avery, and I'm like,
- 40:16Speaker 2: you just you, and then you followed the clickbait and
- 40:20Speaker 2: it's like I said.
- 40:21Speaker 1: Nothing, but my god, but you say anything. They know
- 40:26Speaker 1: you're there and it's a story.
- 40:27Speaker 2: I should have just not even said I was there.
- 40:30Speaker 1: I know, well, if you would have talked to me
- 40:32Speaker 1: about it, I could have helped you come up with
- 40:33Speaker 1: a game plan.
- 40:35Speaker 2: But I friendship shouldn't be tipped for tat.
- 40:38Speaker 1: I just didn't know. I didn't know that you were going,
- 40:40Speaker 1: so I couldn't help you.
- 40:42Speaker 2: You knew back we did the podcast.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Yeah, but no, but I didn't want to ask you
- 40:49Speaker 1: how you were going to approach it because I was
- 40:50Speaker 1: just like, I'm just gonna let her do her thing,
- 40:53Speaker 1: do whatever she wants, what she likes to do.
- 40:57Speaker 2: Yeah, everyone was pretty Everyone had strong feelings. Yeah, some
- 41:02Speaker 2: strong emotions. Yeah, I stand by what I did. I
- 41:06Speaker 2: have I make no apologies or I stand Actually, twelve
- 41:10Speaker 2: toes down. I'll stick one of your toes from your
- 41:14Speaker 2: dog's being out and put it down. Yeah, because you
- 41:20Speaker 2: know what happens one person asks you and then you're
- 41:22Speaker 2: either like I have to share it or I have
- 41:25Speaker 2: to lie. And I didn't want to put you in
- 41:27Speaker 2: that position. So maybe I was thinking about you. No, yeah,
- 41:30Speaker 2: I was. No.
- 41:31Speaker 1: Anyways, you could have said, oh my gosh, I'm freaking out.
- 41:35Speaker 1: I've gotten by it to Taylor's wedding. I signed all
- 41:37Speaker 1: these nbas. I can't tell you when it is or
- 41:38Speaker 1: where it is, Like, oh my god, I'm freaking out
- 41:41Speaker 1: that you could have done, but I didn't. She stands
- 41:46Speaker 1: twelve toes down on it.
- 41:48Speaker 2: So but I didn't. Wait, Okay, the documentary, uh trend
- 41:53Speaker 2: you know.
- 41:53Speaker 1: Where I know. I want to do it so bad,
- 41:56Speaker 1: but I don't have anything that's like cool about me.
- 41:59Speaker 2: He's so upset because Rihanna's I Know so good and
- 42:03Speaker 2: I'm like, that's the best one I've seen that represents me.
- 42:06Speaker 2: And if you didn't see it, it said me sitting
- 42:10Speaker 2: down for Netflix.
- 42:12Speaker 1: Talk about it was I say down for my Netflix
- 42:15Speaker 1: documentary on why I'm chronically late or something like that,
- 42:17Speaker 1: and it was just an empty.
- 42:18Speaker 2: Chachair's late, which is so funny. It's so funny, but
- 42:25Speaker 2: yours you don't know what yours of me?
- 42:27Speaker 1: I don't I've been wanting to do this trend for
- 42:29Speaker 1: like a week, and now I feel like a boomer
- 42:30Speaker 1: if I do it because it's like late and has
- 42:32Speaker 1: that ever stopped to you? Because I can't think of anything.
- 42:36Speaker 2: You should say when people when the Netflix documentary comes
- 42:39Speaker 2: out about people taking their shoes off on airplanes.
- 42:44Speaker 1: I don't take my shoes off in the airplanes.
- 42:46Speaker 2: But you have strong opinions on people who yeah, but
- 42:49Speaker 2: is it like is that really it?
- 42:51Speaker 1: Like that's not me? Like the being late is like
- 42:53Speaker 1: so you right right? You know what I mean? Like,
- 42:57Speaker 1: you know it's hard.
- 42:59Speaker 2: I'm sure we could come up with something. You have all.
- 43:03Speaker 1: I've thought about it for a week. I thought about
- 43:05Speaker 1: it for a week.
- 43:06Speaker 2: When you should say when a Netflix documentary comes out
- 43:10Speaker 2: about doing trends three weeks late. There you go, that's
- 43:15Speaker 2: actually a good one. Write it down.
- 43:17Speaker 1: I'll film it when we leave.
- 43:19Speaker 2: Okay, I think that's all for now.
- 43:22Speaker 1: That's all we got, But do not fret, our pets.
- 43:25Speaker 1: We will be back on Thursday for a dear bonya.
- 43:28Speaker 2: Yeah we will. We'll be back, And don't you worry
- 43:32Speaker 2: because you'll only have a couple of days without us.
- 43:37Speaker 1: It's really sad. Actually, well, we have.
- 43:41Speaker 2: Like eight years worth of podcast you can go listen
- 43:44Speaker 2: to if you're missing nine almost nine in September. Yeah,
- 43:48Speaker 2: we're almost a decade.
- 43:51Speaker 1: That's so crazy, Like it's actually crazy. Yeah, I haven't
- 43:57Speaker 1: done anything for a decade.
- 44:00Speaker 2: You know. I was thinking about that because Haley it
- 44:03Speaker 2: took her ten years to make the movie, and I
- 44:07Speaker 2: was like, I've never done anything for a decade, or
- 44:09Speaker 2: I guess I haven't worked towards this podcast for a decade,
- 44:12Speaker 2: but I have been doing it for a decade.
- 44:13Speaker 1: I even work towards it.
- 44:14Speaker 2: Like she was trying to get something done every.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Week of your life for the past nine years. Okay
- 44:21Speaker 1: in person, met I, let I say also, let that
- 44:25Speaker 1: not go unbeknounced.
- 44:27Speaker 2: Well, there's a lot of word filler words being thrown up.
- 44:32Speaker 1: That's another thing I had an issue with with After
- 44:34Speaker 1: Sun on Saturday Night was Sierra was like on zoom
- 44:38Speaker 1: on a TV screen and I'm like, if you're not
- 44:41Speaker 1: gonna have a host that can be present for six
- 44:43Speaker 1: weeks of your show, find someone else where.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Was she have an emergency or something?
- 44:49Speaker 1: No, I don't know.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Oh, I think she was filmed.
- 44:52Speaker 1: No, I think she was filming something else, summer else,
- 44:55Speaker 1: yeah or something like that. Oh, oh, it just bothers me.
- 44:59Speaker 1: I don't like the phone of things.
- 45:01Speaker 2: Well, I do feel like they had most COVID times
- 45:04Speaker 2: well after Sun seasons they did. I think I think
- 45:08Speaker 2: more people watch than ever. I never watched, but I
- 45:11Speaker 2: heard a lot of people for the first time actually
- 45:13Speaker 2: watch because of them. So congrats to Tuffy and Sierra.
- 45:19Speaker 1: But yeah, I just I don't know. It just takes
- 45:22Speaker 1: me back to COVID times and I'm just like, we're here,
- 45:24Speaker 1: we're back, we're present, we're in person, Like, let's all
- 45:29Speaker 1: show up.
- 45:29Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, yeah, and we do.
- 45:32Speaker 1: I did hear the after someone was better this season
- 45:34Speaker 1: because they like showed you. They showed the islanders, like
- 45:36Speaker 1: getting their phones back and like watching all that kind
- 45:40Speaker 1: of like how they come off the island.
- 45:42Speaker 2: Huh.
- 45:42Speaker 1: Again, I too didn't watch because I do enjoy the breathers.
- 45:46Speaker 2: Yeah, twice a week.
- 45:48Speaker 1: But I did hear it was better.
- 45:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I heard that, like significantly.
- 45:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:53Speaker 2: So I'm sure they'll be back next year.
- 45:57Speaker 1: I hope they're back for the full time.
- 46:01Speaker 2: She was back. She just did it in a way
- 46:03Speaker 2: you didn't like it. Early one you have a very
- 46:07Speaker 2: strong stance on it, But I don't know. I think
- 46:09Speaker 2: everyone prefers an in person dialogue and connection, so I
- 46:14Speaker 2: don't think that's unusual. But your passion, passionate hatred towards
- 46:20Speaker 2: zoom or technology whatever.
- 46:23Speaker 1: Zoom interviews. I get in so many fights with our
- 46:25Speaker 1: producers of this podcast because I'm just like, I find
- 46:29Speaker 1: zoom interviews to not be great. Like I think our
- 46:32Speaker 1: listeners would rather us just chit chat than do a
- 46:35Speaker 1: zoom interview, or if they can come in, we can
- 46:38Speaker 1: wait however long until they're in LA and we can
- 46:40Speaker 1: make it happen. I just feel like in person is
- 46:42Speaker 1: just so much better.
- 46:44Speaker 2: Well, I think if you're able, like if we were
- 46:46Speaker 2: able to get I don't even I take demp. But
- 46:51Speaker 2: I'm saying someone that's relevant into a specific time. So
- 46:54Speaker 2: let's say someone from Love Island that you were so
- 46:57Speaker 2: excited about, and they Love Island UK. They can only zoom,
- 47:00Speaker 2: but you really wanted to talk to them, and it's
- 47:03Speaker 2: only really real they're only relevant in a specific time.
- 47:07Speaker 2: You know you'd want to get them own zoom, Yes
- 47:10Speaker 2: you would.
- 47:11Speaker 1: You could rather just talk to you about Love Island
- 47:13Speaker 1: UK honestly.
- 47:14Speaker 2: Then be able to ask questions to someone who's on
- 47:17Speaker 2: it zoom.
- 47:18Speaker 1: I just find zoom interviews to be so choppy and
- 47:21Speaker 1: like awkward, And I don't know.
- 47:23Speaker 2: I think things have gotten better since.
- 47:26Speaker 1: Show Me, Show Me.
- 47:27Speaker 2: Well, we'll continue to just be us chit chatting in
- 47:31Speaker 2: this beautiful studio we're in and when Easton and Mark
- 47:35Speaker 2: are here, the four of us, don't you fret?
- 47:40Speaker 1: I don't think they'll be back on Thursday. Just a hunch.
- 47:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I have a hunch it'll just be on Thursday,
- 47:45Speaker 2: So stay tuned for a deer Bonia. Maybe we'll do
- 47:48Speaker 2: the guesso game if we can figure that out with
- 47:50Speaker 2: these two brain cells.
- 47:52Speaker 1: Already figured it out right year as you read.
- 47:54Speaker 2: Yeah, it's pretty simple.
- 47:55Speaker 1: Yeah, all right by you, bye ye
