  Stay awake, stay ready. It is possible to look fine on
• 0:15
  the outside while carrying a lot on the inside.

  Proverbs chapter 14, verses 13 to 14 says even in laughter, the
• 0:23
  heart may ache. That verse feels painfully real
• 0:26
  sometimes. You can laugh with friends, go
• 0:29
  through your routine, even seem happy and still have a heart
• 0:32
  that is struggling underneath. God sees that hidden ache.
• 0:37
  He is not fooled by appearances and He is not distant from your
• 0:40
  inner life. Jesus says in Mark chapter 13
• 0:44
  verses 32 to 33, be on guard, keep awake.
• 0:48
  He is talking about spiritual readiness, about living with
• 0:51
  attention, faith and alertness instead of drifting through life
• 0:56
  unaware. He is not calling us to panic.
• 0:59
  He is calling us to stay close. Stay awake in your heart, stay
• 1:03
  ready in your spirit. Stay faithful.
• 1:05
  In the ordinary moments, that matters because life is
• 1:08
  unpredictable. Emotions change, circumstances
• 1:12
  shift. Some days feel bright and others
• 1:15
  feel confusing without warning. If your spiritual life only
• 1:19
  depends on how you feel, you will constantly be thrown off
• 1:22
  balance. But when your heart is anchored
• 1:25
  in Jesus, you can remain steady even when life is uncertain.
• 1:29
  Proverbs also reminds us that our choices bear fruit.
• 1:33
  The backslider is filled with the fruit of his ways, and the
• 1:36
  good person is filled with the fruit of his ways.
• 1:39
  In other words, the direction of your life is being shaped right
• 1:42
  now. Quiet choices matter.
• 1:45
  Private habits matter. Daily devotion matters.
• 1:48
  No one becomes spiritually strong by accident.
• 1:52
  So if you have been spiritually sleepy, distracted, or
• 1:55
  pretending everything is OK while your heart is hurting, let
• 1:58
  today be a wake up call filled with grace.
• 2:01
  Bring your real heart to God. Ask Him to make you attentive
• 2:05
  again. Let Him awaken your love for
• 2:07
  Him, your hunger for truth, and your awareness of His Presence.
• 2:11
  Jesus is not asking you to live anxious.
• 2:15
  He is asking you to live awake. Let's pray.
• 2:18
  Heavenly Father, thank you for seeing beyond my outward smile
• 2:21
  and knowing what is really in my heart.
• 2:24
  Help me stay spiritually awake, alert and close to You.
• 2:27
  When I am distracted or discouraged, draw me back to
• 2:30
  Your presence. Let my daily choices produce
• 2:33
  good fruit and teach me to live ready, faithful and anchored in
• 2:36
  You. In Jesus name, Amen.

  sake, for a testimony to them. The good news must first be

  preached to all the nations when they lead you away and deliver
• 5:20
  you up. Don't be anxious beforehand, or
• 5:22
  premeditate what you will say, but say whatever will be given
• 5:26
  you in that hour, for it is not you who speak, but the Holy
• 5:30
  Spirit. Brother will deliver up brother
• 5:32
  to death, and the Father his child.
• 5:35
  Children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put
• 5:38
  to death. You will be hated by all men for
• 5:41
  my name's sake, but he who endures to the end will be
• 5:44
  saved. But when you see the abomination

  of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing

  where it ought not, let the reader understand.

  Then let those who are in Judaflee to the mountains, and

  let him who is on the House stop, not go down nor enter in

  to take anything out of his house.

  Let him who is in the field not return back to take his cloak.

  But woe to those who are with child and to those who nurse

  babies in those days. Pray that your flight won't be

  in the winter, for in those days there will be oppression such as

  which God created until now, and never will be.

  Unless the Lord had shortened the days, no flesh would have

  been saved but for the sake of the chosen ones whom He picked

  out, He shortened the days. Then if anyone tells you, look

  here is the Christ, or look there, don't believe it.

  For false Christs and false prophets will arise, and will
• 6:42
  show signs and wonders that they may lead astray, if possible,
• 6:46
  even the chosen ones. But you watch.

  Behold, I have told you all things beforehand.

  But in those days after that oppression, the sun will be

  darkened, the moon will not give its light, the stars will be

  falling from the sky, and the powers that are in the heavens

  will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of

  Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.

  Then he will send out his angels and will gather together his

  chosen ones from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to

  the ends of the sky. Now from the fig tree learn this

  parable. When the branch has now become

  tender and produces its leaves, you know that the summer is

  near. Even so you also, when you see

  these things coming to pass, know that it is near at the

  doors. Most certainly, I say to you,

  this generation will not pass away until all these things

  happen. Heaven and earth will pass away,

  but my words will not pass away. But of that day or that hour no
• 7:45
  one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only
• 7:49
  the Father. Watch, keep alert and pray, for
• 7:52
  you don't know when the time is. It is like a man traveling to
• 7:56
  another country, having left his house and given authority to his
• 8:00
  servants and to each one his work, and also commanded the
• 8:03
  doorkeeper to keep watch. Watch therefore, for you don't
• 8:07
  know when the Lord of the house is coming, whether at evening or
• 8:10
  at midnight or when the rooster crows, or in the morning, lest
• 8:14
  coming suddenly He might find you sleeping.
• 8:19
  What I tell you, I tell all. Watch.
