• 1:45
  making

  many

  times
• 1:48
  those

  two

  there's

  a

  of

  compromises

  that

• 2:06
  You

  guys
• 2:07
  have
• 2:08
  come
• 2:08
  up
• 2:08
  with
• 2:09
  this
• 2:10
  beautiful,
• 2:11
  stunning
• 2:12
  solution
• 2:13
  for
• 2:14
  doors
• 2:15
  that
• 2:15
  now
• 2:16
  people
• 2:16
  can
• 2:16
  get
• 2:16
  rid
• 2:17
  of
• 2:17
  those
• 2:18
  louvered
• 2:19
  metal,
• 2:20
  wood
• 2:21
  louvered
• 2:22
  doors
• 2:22
  that
• 2:23
  have
• 2:23
  been
• 2:23
  ruining
• 2:24
  their
• 2:24
  style
• 2:25
  for
• 2:25
  decades.
• 2:26
  That's
• 2:26
  right.
• 2:27
  That
• 2:27
  was
• 2:27
  one
• 2:27
  of
• 2:27
  the
• 2:28
  things
• 2:28
  that
• 2:28
  we
• 2:29
  wanted
• 2:29
  to
• 2:29
  address
• 2:30
  in
• 2:30
  the
• 2:30
  industry.
• 2:31
  We
• 2:31
  felt
• 2:31
  that
• 2:31
  there
• 2:31
  wasn't
• 2:32
  a
• 2:32
  good
• 2:32
  solution
• 2:33
  for
• 2:34
  situations
• 2:35
  where
• 2:35
  you
• 2:35
  need
• 2:35
  ventilation
• 2:36
  through
• 2:36
  a
• 2:36
  door.
• 2:37
  Often
• 2:37
  you're
• 2:37
  looking
• 2:37
  at
• 2:38
  traditional
• 2:39
  slatted
• 2:39
  louvers
• 2:40
  or
• 2:40
  a
• 2:40
  door
• 2:40
  with
• 2:41
  a
• 2:41
  grill
• 2:41
  on
• 2:41
  it.
• 2:42
  And
• 2:42
  those
• 2:42
  were
• 2:42
  all
• 2:43
  poorly
• 2:43
  thought
• 2:43
  out
• 2:44
  solutions
• 2:44
  that
• 2:45
  were
• 2:45
  band
• 2:45
  aid
• 2:46
  fixes,
• 2:46
  so
• 2:46
  to
• 2:46
  speak.
• 2:47
  And
• 2:48
  so
• 2:48
  we
• 2:48
  set
• 2:48
  ourselves
• 2:48
  out
• 2:49
  to
• 2:49
  design
• 2:50
  a
• 2:50
  more
• 2:50
  modern
• 2:51
  ventilated
• 2:51
  door.
• 2:52
  Yeah.
• 2:53
  And
• 2:53
  you
• 2:53
  guys
• 2:53
  came
• 2:53
  up
• 2:54
  with
• 2:54
  something.
• 2:54
  And
• 2:55
  that's
• 2:55
  where
• 2:55
  some
• 2:55
  of
• 2:55
  the
• 2:55
  problems,
• 2:56
  if
• 2:56
  you
• 2:56
  put
• 2:56
  a
• 2:57
  great
• 2:57
  example,
• 2:58
  you.
• 2:58
  Put
• 2:58
  one
• 2:58
  of
• 2:58
  those
• 2:58
  louvered
• 2:59
  doors
• 2:59
  looks
• 2:59
  at
• 3:00
  almost
• 3:00
  a
• 3:01
  Hawaiian
• 3:01
  island
• 3:02
  look
• 3:02
  with
• 3:02
  it.
• 3:02
  Nothing
• 3:03
  wrong
• 3:03
  with
• 3:03
  that,
• 3:03
  but
• 3:03
  it
• 3:03
  doesn't
• 3:04
  fit
• 3:04
  into
• 3:04
  all
• 3:04
  styles.
• 3:05
  But
• 3:05
  the
• 3:05
  problem
• 3:06
  is
• 3:06
  that
• 3:06
  Noise
• 3:07
  loves
• 3:08
  to
• 3:08
  go
• 3:08
  through
• 3:08
  that.
• 3:08
  So
• 3:09
  anything
• 3:09
  that's
• 3:09
  happening
• 3:09
  on
• 3:10
  the
• 3:10
  other
• 3:11
  side
• 3:11
  of
• 3:11
  that
• 3:11
  door,
• 3:12
  whether
• 3:12
  it
• 3:12
  be
• 3:13
  a
• 3:13
  mechanical
• 3:14
  room,
• 3:14
  a
• 3:15
  bathroom,
• 3:15
  an
• 3:16
  office
• 3:16
  that
• 3:16
  needs
• 3:17
  ventilation,
• 3:18
  whatever
• 3:18
  it
• 3:19
  is
• 3:19
  that
• 3:20
  sounds,
• 3:20
  go
• 3:20
  through
• 3:20
  it
• 3:20
  like
• 3:21
  it's
• 3:21
  paper.
• 3:22
  That's
• 3:22
  exactly
• 3:22
  right.
• 3:23
  If
• 3:23
  you
• 3:23
  can
• 3:23
  see
• 3:24
  through
• 3:24
  the
• 3:24
  door,
• 3:25
  if
• 3:25
  there's
• 3:25
  light
• 3:25
  penetration
• 3:26
  through
• 3:26
  that
• 3:27
  door,
• 3:27
  that
• 3:27
  the
• 3:27
  sound
• 3:28
  privacy
• 3:28
  is
• 3:28
  going
• 3:28
  to
• 3:28
  be
• 3:29
  very
• 3:29
  bad,
• 3:29
  because
• 3:29
  it's
• 3:30
  no
• 3:30
  different
• 3:30
  than
• 3:30
  me
• 3:31
  speaking
• 3:31
  just
• 3:32
  openly
• 3:32
  with
• 3:33
  no
• 3:33
  acoustic
• 3:33
  separation.
• 3:35
  And
• 3:35
  so
• 3:35
  when
• 3:35
  you.
• 3:35
  When
• 3:35
  you
• 3:36
  see
• 3:36
  that
• 3:36
  in
• 3:36
  homes,
• 3:37
  that
• 3:37
  the
• 3:38
  acoustic
• 3:39
  privacy
• 3:39
  is
• 3:39
  not
• 3:39
  going
• 3:39
  to
• 3:39
  be
• 3:40
  good
• 3:40
  between
• 3:40
  those
• 3:41
  rooms.
• 3:41
  Yeah.
• 3:42
  How
• 3:42
  did
• 3:42
  you
• 3:42
  guys
• 3:42
  design
• 3:43
  that
• 3:43
  to
• 3:43
  make
• 3:44
  that
• 3:44
  work?
• 3:44
  So
• 3:44
  you
• 3:44
  get
• 3:45
  a
• 3:45
  lot
• 3:45
  of
• 3:45
  airflow,
• 3:46
  but
• 3:46
  also
• 3:47
  control
• 3:47
  sound.
• 3:48
  And
• 3:48
  I
• 3:48
  think
• 3:48
  that's
• 3:48
  where
• 3:48
  the
• 3:49
  genius
• 3:49
  lies
• 3:49
  in
• 3:49
  this
• 3:49
  whole
• 3:50
  process.
• 3:51
  Yeah.
• 3:51
  So
• 3:52
  we
• 3:52
  started
• 3:52
  off
• 3:53
  with
• 3:53
  a
• 3:54
  elegant
• 3:54
  sort
• 3:54
  of
• 3:55
  linear
• 3:55
  ventilation
• 3:56
  slot.
• 3:57
  So
• 3:57
  it
• 3:58
  is
• 3:59
  positioned
• 3:59
  vertically
• 4:00
  so
• 4:00
  that
• 4:00
  it
• 4:00
  takes
• 4:01
  into
• 4:01
  advantage
• 4:02
  the
• 4:02
  door's
• 4:02
  height.
• 4:03
  The
• 4:03
  taller
• 4:04
  the
• 4:04
  door,
• 4:04
  the
• 4:04
  more
• 4:04
  ventilation
• 4:05
  that
• 4:05
  you'll
• 4:05
  get.
• 4:06
  And
• 4:06
  we
• 4:07
  staggered
• 4:07
  that
• 4:07
  ventilation
• 4:08
  slot
• 4:08
  on
• 4:08
  the
• 4:08
  opposing
• 4:09
  side
• 4:09
  of
• 4:09
  the
• 4:09
  face
• 4:10
  so
• 4:10
  that
• 4:11
  you
• 4:11
  couldn't
• 4:11
  see
• 4:11
  through
• 4:11
  the
• 4:12
  door.
• 4:12
  Right.
• 4:12
  So
• 4:12
  you
• 4:13
  don't
• 4:13
  have
• 4:13
  that
• 4:14
  light
• 4:14
  penetrating
• 4:14
  issue,
• 4:15
  and
• 4:15
  you
• 4:16
  have
• 4:16
  that
• 4:16
  visual
• 4:16
  privacy.
• 4:17
  And
• 4:18
  then
• 4:18
  the
• 4:18
  third
• 4:18
  thing
• 4:19
  is
• 4:19
  that
• 4:20
  by
• 4:20
  doing
• 4:21
  so,
• 4:21
  we
• 4:21
  create
• 4:22
  a
• 4:22
  air
• 4:23
  channel
• 4:23
  and
• 4:23
  also
• 4:24
  a
• 4:24
  channel
• 4:24
  for
• 4:24
  us
• 4:24
  to
• 4:24
  absorb
• 4:25
  some
• 4:25
  sound.
• 4:26
  And
• 4:26
  so
• 4:27
  we
• 4:27
  utilize
• 4:27
  that
• 4:28
  air
• 4:28
  channel,
• 4:29
  we
• 4:29
  put
• 4:29
  acoustic
• 4:30
  baffling
• 4:30
  in
• 4:30
  it
• 4:31
  and
• 4:31
  acoustic
• 4:32
  absorption.
• 4:33
  And
• 4:33
  that
• 4:33
  really
• 4:34
  helps
• 4:34
  maintain
• 4:35
  the
• 4:35
  sound
• 4:35
  privacy
• 4:36
  of
• 4:37
  that
• 4:37
  door
• 4:37
  compared
• 4:38
  to
• 4:38
  your
• 4:38
  traditional
• 4:39
  louver
• 4:39
  or
• 4:39
  vented
• 4:40
  transfer
• 4:41
  that
• 4:41
  you
• 4:41
  might
• 4:41
  typically
• 4:42
  see.
• 4:42
  So
• 4:43
  that
• 4:43
  louver,
• 4:44
  that
• 4:44
  vented
• 4:44
  channel
• 4:45
  then,
• 4:45
  is
• 4:45
  much
• 4:45
  like
• 4:46
  the
• 4:46
  muffler
• 4:46
  on
• 4:46
  your
• 4:47
  car,
• 4:47
  where
• 4:47
  you've
• 4:48
  got
• 4:48
  noise
• 4:48
  going
• 4:48
  through,
• 4:49
  but
• 4:49
  the
• 4:49
  way
• 4:49
  the
• 4:50
  sound
• 4:50
  bounces
• 4:50
  around
• 4:51
  inside
• 4:51
  there,
• 4:51
  it
• 4:52
  cancels
• 4:52
  itself
• 4:52
  out
• 4:53
  and
• 4:54
  really
• 4:54
  reduces
• 4:54
  it
• 4:54
  on
• 4:55
  the
• 4:55
  other
• 4:55
  side.
• 4:56
  So
• 4:56
  I'm
• 4:56
  glad
• 4:56
  you
• 4:57
  brought
• 4:57
  that
• 4:57
  analogy
• 4:58
  up.
• 4:58
  There
• 4:59
  are
• 4:59
  acoustic
• 4:59
  resonators
• 5:00
  that
• 5:01
  work
• 5:01
  in
• 5:01
  the
• 5:01
  principle
• 5:01
  of
• 5:02
  Helmholtz
• 5:02
  resonation.
• 5:03
  So
• 5:04
  similar
• 5:04
  to
• 5:04
  the
• 5:04
  muffler
• 5:04
  in
• 5:05
  your
• 5:05
  car,
• 5:05
  we
• 5:06
  can
• 5:06
  actually
• 5:06
  tune
• 5:06
  it
• 5:07
  to
• 5:07
  absorb
• 5:07
  a
• 5:07
  specific
• 5:08
  frequency
• 5:08
  or
• 5:09
  a
• 5:09
  band
• 5:09
  of
• 5:09
  frequencies
• 5:10
  of
• 5:10
  sounds.
• 5:11
  And
• 5:11
  we
• 5:11
  tune
• 5:11
  it
• 5:11
  to
• 5:11
  get
• 5:12
  the
• 5:12
  highest
• 5:12
  sound
• 5:12
  chance
• 5:13
  transmission
• 5:13
  class
• 5:14
  possible
• 5:14
  for
• 5:15
  the
• 5:15
  door.
• 5:16
  Okay.
• 5:16
  That
• 5:16
  is
• 5:17
  so
• 5:17
  cool.
• 5:17
  That
• 5:18
  is
• 5:18
  so
• 5:18
  next
• 5:19
  generation,
• 5:19
  next
• 5:19
  level.
• 5:20
  Because
• 5:20
  so
• 5:21
  many
• 5:21
  people.
• 5:21
  Oh,
• 5:21
  yeah,
• 5:21
  just
• 5:22
  stop
• 5:22
  sound.
• 5:23
  Oh,
• 5:23
  no,
• 5:24
  it's
• 5:24
  tuned.
• 5:25
  How
• 5:25
  cool
• 5:26
  is
• 5:26
  that?
• 5:26
  That's
• 5:27
  right.
• 5:27
  That
• 5:27
  is
• 5:28
  awesome.
• 5:28
  So
• 5:28
  how
• 5:28
  much
• 5:29
  air
• 5:29
  does.
• 5:29
  Of
• 5:30
  course,
• 5:30
  door
• 5:30
  size
• 5:30
  has
• 5:31
  everything
• 5:31
  to
• 5:31
  do
• 5:31
  with
• 5:31
  it,
• 5:31
  but
• 5:32
  how
• 5:32
  much
• 5:32
  do
• 5:33
  you,
• 5:33
  on
• 5:34
  average,
• 5:34
  with
• 5:34
  a
• 5:35
  typical
• 5:35
  interior
• 5:35
  door,
• 5:36
  would
• 5:36
  you
• 5:36
  see
• 5:36
  with
• 5:36
  that
• 5:37
  as
• 5:37
  far
• 5:37
  as,
• 5:37
  like,
• 5:38
  CFM
• 5:38
  through
• 5:38
  that
• 5:38
  door?
• 5:39
  So
• 5:39
  your
• 5:39
  typical
• 5:40
  door
• 5:40
  would
• 5:40
  be
• 5:40
  about
• 5:40
  a
• 5:41
  68
• 5:41
  height,
• 5:41
  so
• 5:42
  6ft
• 5:42
  8
• 5:42
  inches.
• 5:43
  And
• 5:43
  so
• 5:44
  that
• 5:44
  would
• 5:44
  give
• 5:45
  you
• 5:45
  an
• 5:45
  equivalent
• 5:46
  area
• 5:47
  opening.
• 5:47
  So
• 5:47
  how
• 5:48
  big
• 5:48
  of
• 5:48
  a
• 5:48
  hole
• 5:49
  of
• 5:49
  12
• 5:50
  by
• 5:50
  12
• 5:50
  square
• 5:51
  inches,
• 5:52
  so
• 5:52
  you.
• 5:52
  Can
• 5:53
  move
• 5:53
  a
• 5:53
  ton
• 5:53
  of
• 5:53
  air
• 5:54
  through
• 5:54
  that.
• 5:54
  So
• 5:54
  if
• 5:54
  you
• 5:55
  have
• 5:55
  a
• 5:56
  bathroom,
• 5:57
  for
• 5:57
  instance,
• 5:58
  and
• 5:58
  so
• 5:58
  you
• 5:59
  get
• 5:59
  the
• 5:59
  sound
• 5:59
  transmission
• 6:00
  and
• 6:00
  you
• 6:00
  get
• 6:00
  the
• 6:01
  airflow
• 6:01
  because.
• 6:02
  Great
• 6:02
  example.
• 6:03
  I'm
• 6:03
  getting
• 6:03
  ready
• 6:03
  to
• 6:03
  do
• 6:03
  the
• 6:04
  project
• 6:04
  at
• 6:04
  my
• 6:04
  house
• 6:05
  and
• 6:05
  this
• 6:05
  is
• 6:05
  why
• 6:05
  you
• 6:06
  guys
• 6:06
  are
• 6:06
  going
• 6:06
  in
• 6:06
  my
• 6:06
  house
• 6:07
  is
• 6:08
  I
• 6:08
  have
• 6:08
  that
• 6:09
  common
• 6:09
  problem.
• 6:10
  I
• 6:10
  have
• 6:10
  a
• 6:10
  bathroom
• 6:11
  door
• 6:12
  that
• 6:12
  with
• 6:12
  110
• 6:14
  CFM
• 6:14
  bath
• 6:15
  fan
• 6:15
  because
• 6:15
  I
• 6:15
  have
• 6:15
  a
• 6:15
  steam
• 6:16
  shower
• 6:16
  in
• 6:16
  there.
• 6:17
  The
• 6:17
  problem
• 6:17
  is
• 6:18
  my
• 6:18
  vanity.
• 6:19
  It's
• 6:19
  a
• 6:19
  1970s
• 6:20
  house.
• 6:21
  And
• 6:21
  this
• 6:21
  is
• 6:21
  a
• 6:21
  great
• 6:21
  case
• 6:22
  you
• 6:22
  study
• 6:22
  for
• 6:22
  this
• 6:23
  is
• 6:23
  that
• 6:24
  when
• 6:24
  I
• 6:24
  stand
• 6:24
  in
• 6:24
  front
• 6:25
  of
• 6:25
  the
• 6:25
  vanity
• 6:26
  on
• 6:26
  my
• 6:26
  side
• 6:26
  of
• 6:27
  the
• 6:27
  bathroom,
• 6:27
  I'm
• 6:27
  right.
• 6:28
  Next
• 6:28
  to
• 6:28
  the
• 6:28
  door.
• 6:29
  So
• 6:29
  what
• 6:29
  happens
• 6:30
  is
• 6:30
  when
• 6:30
  I
• 6:30
  have
• 6:30
  the
• 6:30
  bath
• 6:31
  fan
• 6:31
  on
• 6:31
  there,
• 6:31
  which
• 6:32
  should
• 6:32
  be
• 6:32
  on
• 6:32
  there
• 6:32
  while
• 6:32
  I'm
• 6:33
  in
• 6:33
  there
• 6:33
  to
• 6:33
  get
• 6:33
  the
• 6:33
  steam
• 6:34
  and
• 6:34
  everything
• 6:34
  out
• 6:34
  for
• 6:34
  the
• 6:34
  shower.
• 6:35
  My
• 6:36
  heated
• 6:36
  tile
• 6:36
  floor,
• 6:37
  because
• 6:37
  that
• 6:37
  is
• 6:38
  where
• 6:38
  the
• 6:38
  air
• 6:38
  is
• 6:39
  coming
• 6:39
  in,
• 6:39
  is
• 6:40
  cold
• 6:40
  there
• 6:40
  because
• 6:41
  I'm
• 6:41
  heating
• 6:41
  the
• 6:42
  air
• 6:42
  with
• 6:42
  it,
• 6:42
  it's
• 6:43
  pre
• 6:43
  cooling
• 6:44
  it.
• 6:44
  So
• 6:45
  now
• 6:45
  I
• 6:45
  can
• 6:45
  have
• 6:45
  that
• 6:46
  door
• 6:46
  be
• 6:46
  a
• 6:46
  little
• 6:47
  bit
• 6:47
  longer.
• 6:48
  So
• 6:49
  I
• 6:49
  don't
• 6:49
  have
• 6:49
  my
• 6:49
  primary
• 6:50
  air
• 6:50
  coming
• 6:51
  under
• 6:51
  the
• 6:51
  door.
• 6:52
  Now
• 6:52
  it's
• 6:52
  off
• 6:53
  coming
• 6:53
  in
• 6:53
  equally
• 6:54
  and
• 6:54
  I'm
• 6:54
  going
• 6:54
  to
• 6:54
  get
• 6:54
  better
• 6:54
  airflow
• 6:55
  through
• 6:55
  that.
• 6:56
  Exactly
• 6:56
  right.
• 6:56
  You're
• 6:57
  going
• 6:57
  to
• 6:57
  allow
• 6:57
  that
• 6:57
  bathroom
• 6:58
  fan
• 6:58
  to
• 6:58
  operate
• 6:59
  more
• 6:59
  effectively.
• 7:00
  If
• 7:00
  you
• 7:00
  don't
• 7:00
  provide
• 7:01
  that
• 7:01
  fan
• 7:01
  with
• 7:01
  enough
• 7:02
  ventilation,
• 7:03
  what's
• 7:04
  going
• 7:04
  to
• 7:04
  happen
• 7:04
  is
• 7:04
  that
• 7:05
  the
• 7:05
  air
• 7:05
  is
• 7:05
  going
• 7:05
  to
• 7:05
  try
• 7:05
  to
• 7:06
  infiltrate
• 7:06
  through
• 7:06
  all
• 7:06
  the
• 7:06
  gaps
• 7:07
  and
• 7:07
  cracks
• 7:08
  in
• 7:08
  and
• 7:08
  around
• 7:08
  the
• 7:08
  door
• 7:09
  through
• 7:09
  the
• 7:09
  undercut
• 7:09
  like
• 7:10
  you
• 7:10
  said,
• 7:10
  even
• 7:11
  through
• 7:11
  the
• 7:11
  outlets
• 7:12
  that
• 7:12
  are
• 7:12
  present
• 7:13
  inside
• 7:13
  the
• 7:13
  room.
• 7:14
  And
• 7:14
  so
• 7:14
  with
• 7:15
  our
• 7:15
  solution,
• 7:16
  you're
• 7:16
  really
• 7:17
  going
• 7:17
  to
• 7:17
  get
• 7:17
  all
• 7:17
  the
• 7:17
  zones
• 7:17
  of
• 7:18
  air
• 7:18
  stratification
• 7:18
  as
• 7:19
  well
• 7:19
  because
• 7:19
  it's
• 7:19
  a
• 7:20
  vertical
• 7:20
  slot.
• 7:21
  So
• 7:21
  you're
• 7:21
  ventilating
• 7:22
  the
• 7:22
  whole
• 7:22
  space
• 7:22
  rather
• 7:23
  than
• 7:23
  just
• 7:23
  from
• 7:24
  the
• 7:24
  bottom
• 7:24
  of
• 7:25
  the
• 7:25
  door.
• 7:26
  And
• 7:26
  it's
• 7:26
  going
• 7:26
  to
• 7:26
  also
• 7:26
  save
• 7:27
  me.
• 7:27
  On
• 7:27
  electricity
• 7:28
  because
• 7:28
  guess
• 7:28
  what?
• 7:29
  That
• 7:29
  sensor
• 7:30
  is
• 7:30
  sensing
• 7:31
  that
• 7:31
  I
• 7:31
  have
• 7:31
  a
• 7:32
  cold
• 7:32
  spot
• 7:32
  in
• 7:32
  the
• 7:32
  floor
• 7:33
  over
• 7:33
  there.
• 7:33
  So
• 7:34
  it's
• 7:34
  turning
• 7:34
  on
• 7:34
  the
• 7:34
  heat.
• 7:35
  And
• 7:35
  so
• 7:35
  I've
• 7:35
  got
• 7:35
  this
• 7:36
  very
• 7:36
  uneven
• 7:37
  floor
• 7:37
  temperature
• 7:38
  in
• 7:38
  the
• 7:38
  room
• 7:38
  because
• 7:38
  of
• 7:38
  the
• 7:38
  heated
• 7:39
  tile.
• 7:39
  And
• 7:40
  so
• 7:40
  I
• 7:40
  realized
• 7:41
  that,
• 7:41
  wow,
• 7:41
  this
• 7:41
  is
• 7:42
  also
• 7:42
  costing
• 7:43
  me
• 7:43
  money
• 7:43
  in
• 7:43
  my
• 7:44
  electricity
• 7:44
  use
• 7:45
  because
• 7:45
  it's
• 7:45
  trying
• 7:45
  to
• 7:45
  compensate
• 7:46
  for
• 7:46
  that
• 7:46
  air.
• 7:47
  Well,
• 7:48
  if
• 7:48
  I'm
• 7:48
  blowing
• 7:48
  out
• 7:48
  a
• 7:48
  hundred
• 7:49
  CFM,
• 7:49
  I'm
• 7:49
  bringing
• 7:50
  in
• 7:50
  100
• 7:50
  CFM.
• 7:51
  It's
• 7:51
  got
• 7:51
  to
• 7:51
  come
• 7:51
  from
• 7:52
  someplace.
• 7:52
  So
• 7:52
  I'm
• 7:52
  super
• 7:53
  cooling
• 7:53
  my
• 7:53
  floor
• 7:54
  there.
• 7:54
  Now
• 7:54
  it's
• 7:55
  going
• 7:55
  to
• 7:55
  bring
• 7:55
  it
• 7:55
  up
• 7:55
  and
• 7:56
  it's
• 7:56
  going
• 7:56
  to
• 7:56
  be
• 7:56
  a
• 7:56
  much
• 7:56
  better
• 7:56
  airflow
• 7:57
  situation.
• 7:58
  Great
• 7:58
  point.
• 7:58
  That's
• 7:59
  one
• 7:59
  that
• 7:59
  I
• 7:59
  haven't
• 7:59
  heard
• 7:59
  of
• 8:00
  yet,
• 8:00
  but
• 8:00
  I'm
• 8:00
  glad
• 8:00
  you
• 8:01
  brought
• 8:01
  that
• 8:01
  up
• 8:01
  because
• 8:02
  that's
• 8:02
  a
• 8:02
  selling
• 8:02
  feature
• 8:03
  for
• 8:03
  us
• 8:03
  as
• 8:03
  well.
• 8:04
  Yeah.
• 8:04
  So
• 8:05
  it's
• 8:05
  one
• 8:06
  of
• 8:06
  those
• 8:06
  things.
• 8:06
  And
• 8:06
  then
• 8:07
  when
• 8:07
  you
• 8:07
  and
• 8:07
  I
• 8:07
  talked
• 8:07
  about
• 8:08
  for
• 8:08
  the
• 8:08
  television
• 8:08
  show,
• 8:09
  the
• 8:09
  first
• 8:09
  time
• 8:09
  we
• 8:09
  chatted,
• 8:10
  I
• 8:10
  was
• 8:10
  like,
• 8:11
  this
• 8:11
  is
• 8:11
  brilliant.
• 8:12
  And
• 8:12
  I've
• 8:12
  been
• 8:13
  showing
• 8:13
  some
• 8:14
  architects
• 8:14
  and
• 8:14
  stuff
• 8:14
  in
• 8:15
  the
• 8:15
  area
• 8:15
  here
• 8:15
  and
• 8:16
  designers
• 8:16
  and
• 8:16
  they
• 8:16
  had
• 8:17
  not
• 8:17
  seen
• 8:17
  it
• 8:17
  before.
• 8:17
  And
• 8:17
  I'm
• 8:18
  like,
• 8:18
  here's
• 8:19
  the
• 8:19
  perfect
• 8:19
  use
• 8:20
  for
• 8:20
  that.
• 8:20
  And
• 8:21
  now,
• 8:21
  of
• 8:21
  course,
• 8:21
  we've
• 8:21
  got
• 8:22
  people.
• 8:22
  With
• 8:23
  utility
• 8:24
  rooms
• 8:24
  and
• 8:25
  people
• 8:25
  are
• 8:25
  putting
• 8:25
  in
• 8:26
  heat
• 8:26
  pump
• 8:26
  water
• 8:27
  heaters
• 8:27
  and
• 8:27
  you
• 8:27
  have
• 8:28
  to
• 8:28
  have
• 8:28
  ventilation
• 8:28
  for
• 8:29
  this.
• 8:29
  And
• 8:30
  many
• 8:30
  times
• 8:30
  that
• 8:31
  little
• 8:31
  utility
• 8:32
  closet
• 8:32
  in
• 8:32
  the
• 8:32
  basement
• 8:33
  or
• 8:33
  in
• 8:33
  a
• 8:34
  garage
• 8:34
  or
• 8:34
  something
• 8:34
  like
• 8:35
  that,
• 8:35
  they've
• 8:35
  got
• 8:36
  this.
• 8:36
  Heat
• 8:37
  pump
• 8:37
  water
• 8:37
  heater
• 8:37
  that's
• 8:38
  going
• 8:38
  to
• 8:38
  save
• 8:38
  them
• 8:38
  a
• 8:38
  lot
• 8:38
  of
• 8:39
  money.
• 8:39
  But
• 8:39
  they
• 8:40
  need
• 8:40
  to
• 8:40
  come
• 8:40
  up
• 8:40
  with
• 8:40
  a
• 8:40
  ventilation
• 8:41
  solution
• 8:41
  because
• 8:42
  it's
• 8:42
  drawing
• 8:43
  in
• 8:43
  air
• 8:43
  and
• 8:43
  of
• 8:43
  course
• 8:44
  it's
• 8:44
  cooling
• 8:44
  the
• 8:45
  air
• 8:45
  in
• 8:45
  that
• 8:45
  space
• 8:45
  because
• 8:45
  it's
• 8:46
  pulling
• 8:46
  the
• 8:46
  heat
• 8:46
  out
• 8:46
  of
• 8:46
  it.
• 8:47
  That's
• 8:47
  exactly
• 8:47
  right.
• 8:48
  We
• 8:48
  hear
• 8:48
  this
• 8:48
  a
• 8:48
  lot
• 8:49
  with
• 8:49
  architects
• 8:49
  and
• 8:50
  designers
• 8:50
  that
• 8:50
  we
• 8:50
  work
• 8:51
  with.
• 8:52
  Often
• 8:52
  they're
• 8:53
  commenting
• 8:53
  on
• 8:54
  how,
• 8:54
  oh,
• 8:54
  I
• 8:54
  wish
• 8:55
  I
• 8:55
  had
• 8:55
  known
• 8:55
  about
• 8:55
  your
• 8:55
  product
• 8:56
  earlier.
• 8:56
  We
• 8:56
  could
• 8:56
  have
• 8:56
  used
• 8:56
  it
• 8:57
  in
• 8:57
  a
• 8:57
  recent
• 8:57
  renovation
• 8:58
  or
• 8:58
  a
• 8:58
  new
• 8:58
  build.
• 8:59
  But
• 8:59
  you're
• 8:59
  absolutely
• 9:00
  right.
• 9:00
  The
• 9:00
  amount
• 9:00
  of
• 9:01
  technology
• 9:01
  that
• 9:01
  that
• 9:02
  we're
• 9:02
  putting
• 9:02
  into
• 9:02
  our
• 9:03
  homes
• 9:03
  now
• 9:03
  with
• 9:04
  heat
• 9:04
  pump,
• 9:04
  water
• 9:04
  closet
• 9:05
  heaters,
• 9:05
  heat
• 9:06
  pump,
• 9:06
  ventless
• 9:07
  dryers,
• 9:07
  all
• 9:07
  that
• 9:08
  technology
• 9:08
  that's
• 9:08
  crammed
• 9:09
  into
• 9:09
  our
• 9:09
  homes
• 9:10
  requires
• 9:10
  ventilation,
• 9:11
  and
• 9:12
  not
• 9:12
  only
• 9:12
  ventilation,
• 9:13
  but
• 9:13
  acoustics
• 9:14
  as
• 9:14
  well.
• 9:14
  So
• 9:14
  in
• 9:14
  the
• 9:15
  case
• 9:15
  of
• 9:15
  the
• 9:16
  water
• 9:16
  heater,
• 9:16
  you've
• 9:16
  got
• 9:17
  a
• 9:17
  compressor
• 9:17
  that's
• 9:18
  going
• 9:18
  on
• 9:18
  and
• 9:18
  off.
• 9:19
  And
• 9:20
  we've
• 9:20
  worked
• 9:21
  with
• 9:21
  architects
• 9:22
  and
• 9:22
  acousticians
• 9:23
  as
• 9:23
  well
• 9:23
  even
• 9:24
  to
• 9:24
  address
• 9:24
  these
• 9:24
  problems.
• 9:25
  It
• 9:25
  seems
• 9:26
  to
• 9:26
  be
• 9:26
  a
• 9:27
  gap
• 9:27
  that
• 9:28
  these
• 9:28
  manufacturers
• 9:29
  aren't
• 9:30
  understanding
• 9:30
  because
• 9:31
  when
• 9:31
  they
• 9:31
  come
• 9:32
  up
• 9:32
  with
• 9:32
  the
• 9:33
  solution
• 9:34
  to
• 9:34
  ventilate
• 9:34
  those
• 9:35
  spaces,
• 9:35
  they're
• 9:36
  simply
• 9:36
  just
• 9:36
  going
• 9:36
  to
• 9:37
  say
• 9:37
  cut
• 9:37
  a
• 9:37
  hole
• 9:37
  in
• 9:37
  the
• 9:37
  door
• 9:38
  or
• 9:39
  put
• 9:39
  a
• 9:39
  vent
• 9:39
  on
• 9:40
  the
• 9:40
  wall.
• 9:40
  And
• 9:41
  so
• 9:41
  those
• 9:41
  aren't
• 9:42
  really
• 9:42
  compelling
• 9:43
  solutions.
• 9:44
  And
• 9:44
  we
• 9:44
  like
• 9:45
  to
• 9:45
  do
• 9:45
  things
• 9:45
  differently
• 9:46
  here
• 9:46
  at
• 9:46
  Van
• 9:46
  Air.
• 9:47
  Yeah,
• 9:47
  you
• 9:47
  guys
• 9:47
  do
• 9:47
  such
• 9:48
  a
• 9:48
  great
• 9:48
  job
• 9:48
  with
• 9:48
  that.
• 9:49
  And
• 9:49
  now
• 9:49
  you're
• 9:50
  seeing
• 9:50
  older
• 9:50
  homes
• 9:51
  getting
• 9:51
  converted
• 9:52
  over
• 9:52
  to
• 9:52
  mini
• 9:52
  split
• 9:53
  heat
• 9:53
  pumps
• 9:53
  where
• 9:54
  maybe
• 9:54
  they
• 9:54
  had
• 9:54
  wall
• 9:55
  heat,
• 9:55
  for.
• 9:55
  Instance,
• 9:55
  and
• 9:56
  they're
• 9:56
  don't
• 9:56
  change
• 9:57
  that
• 9:57
  dial
• 9:57
  around
• 9:57
  the
• 9:57
  house.
• 9:57
  We'll
• 9:58
  be
• 9:58
  right
• 9:58
  back
• 9:58
  with
• 9:58
  Vic
• 9:59
  from
• 9:59
  Van
• 9:59
  Air
• 9:59
  do
• 9:59
  indoors.
• 10:00
  We're
• 10:00
  going
• 10:00
  to
• 10:00
  talk
• 10:01
  ventilation
• 10:01
  indoors
• 10:02
  without
• 10:03
  that
• 10:03
  Ugly
• 10:03
  grill.
• 10:26
  So
• 10:28
  many
• 10:28
  people
• 10:29
  without.
• 10:41
  Welcome
• 10:41
  back
• 10:41
  to
• 10:41
  the
• 10:41
  around
• 10:42
  the
• 10:42
  House
• 10:42
  show,
• 10:42
  the
• 10:42
  next
• 10:42
  generation
• 10:43
  of
• 10:43
  home
• 10:43
  improvement.
• 10:44
  Thanks
• 10:44
  for
• 10:44
  joining
• 10:44
  me
• 10:45
  today.
• 10:45
  I'm
• 10:45
  Eric
• 10:45
  G.
• 10:46
  We've
• 10:46
  been
• 10:46
  talking
• 10:47
  with
• 10:47
  my
• 10:47
  buddy
• 10:47
  Vic
• 10:48
  from
• 10:48
  Van
• 10:48
  Air
• 10:49
  Doors
• 10:49
  about
• 10:49
  a
• 10:50
  cool
• 10:50
  architectural
• 10:51
  door
• 10:51
  that
• 10:52
  lets
• 10:52
  you
• 10:52
  move
• 10:52
  air
• 10:53
  without
• 10:53
  those
• 10:53
  ugly
• 10:54
  louvers
• 10:54
  or
• 10:55
  grills.
• 10:56
  But
• 10:56
  first,
• 10:56
  this
• 10:56
  segment
• 10:56
  is
• 10:57
  brought
• 10:57
  to
• 10:57
  you
• 10:57
  by
• 10:57
  our
• 10:57
  friends
• 10:57
  over
• 10:58
  at
• 10:58
  Monument
• 10:59
  Grills.
• 10:59
  If
• 10:59
  you're
• 10:59
  looking
• 10:59
  for
• 11:00
  a
• 11:00
  great
• 11:00
  grill
• 11:01
  for
• 11:01
  this
• 11:01
  holiday
• 11:02
  season,
• 11:02
  it's
• 11:02
  time
• 11:03
  to
• 11:03
  upgrade
• 11:03
  yours.
• 11:04
  And
• 11:04
  they're
• 11:04
  all
• 11:04
  900
• 11:04
  bucks
• 11:05
  or
• 11:05
  less.
• 11:06
  That's
• 11:06
  the
• 11:06
  cool
• 11:07
  thing.
• 11:07
  Check
• 11:07
  them
• 11:07
  out@moneymcgrills.com
• 11:10
  maybe
• 11:10
  it's
• 11:10
  time
• 11:11
  for
• 11:11
  that
• 11:11
  upgrade.
• 11:12
  Now
• 11:12
  let's
• 11:12
  get
• 11:12
  back
• 11:13
  to
• 11:13
  Vic
• 11:13
  and
• 11:14
  let's
• 11:14
  talk
• 11:14
  doors.
• 11:15
  And
• 11:15
  now
• 11:15
  you're
• 11:15
  seeing
• 11:16
  older
• 11:16
  homes
• 11:16
  getting
• 11:17
  converted
• 11:17
  over
• 11:18
  to
• 11:18
  mini
• 11:18
  split
• 11:18
  heat
• 11:19
  pumps
• 11:19
  where
• 11:19
  maybe
• 11:20
  they
• 11:20
  had
• 11:20
  wall
• 11:20
  heat,
• 11:21
  for
• 11:21
  instance,
• 11:21
  in
• 11:21
  their
• 11:22
  really
• 11:22
  wanting
• 11:22
  to
• 11:22
  get
• 11:23
  better
• 11:23
  control
• 11:23
  of
• 11:23
  the
• 11:24
  air.
• 11:24
  But
• 11:24
  as
• 11:25
  we
• 11:25
  know,
• 11:25
  with
• 11:25
  mini
• 11:25
  split
• 11:26
  heat
• 11:26
  pumps,
• 11:26
  we're
• 11:26
  putting
• 11:27
  those
• 11:27
  heads
• 11:27
  in,
• 11:28
  in
• 11:28
  two
• 11:28
  or
• 11:29
  three
• 11:29
  rooms
• 11:29
  in
• 11:29
  a
• 11:30
  house.
• 11:30
  And
• 11:30
  then
• 11:31
  we're
• 11:31
  just
• 11:31
  letting
• 11:31
  kind
• 11:31
  of
• 11:32
  mother
• 11:32
  nature
• 11:33
  balance
• 11:34
  things
• 11:34
  out
• 11:34
  within
• 11:34
  the
• 11:34
  house.
• 11:35
  But
• 11:35
  if
• 11:35
  you've
• 11:35
  got
• 11:35
  a
• 11:35
  mini
• 11:36
  split
• 11:37
  heat
• 11:37
  pump
• 11:37
  head
• 11:38
  that's
• 11:38
  out
• 11:38
  in
• 11:38
  the
• 11:38
  hallway
• 11:39
  and
• 11:39
  you've
• 11:39
  got
• 11:40
  maybe
• 11:40
  three
• 11:40
  bedrooms
• 11:41
  back
• 11:41
  there,
• 11:42
  you've
• 11:42
  got
• 11:42
  an
• 11:42
  issue
• 11:42
  there
• 11:43
  because
• 11:43
  now
• 11:43
  when
• 11:43
  you
• 11:44
  shut
• 11:44
  the
• 11:44
  door
• 11:44
  at
• 11:44
  night,
• 11:44
  when
• 11:45
  you
• 11:45
  go
• 11:45
  to
• 11:45
  bed,
• 11:46
  you
• 11:46
  have
• 11:46
  really
• 11:47
  not
• 11:47
  a
• 11:47
  lot
• 11:47
  of
• 11:47
  ventilation,
• 11:48
  especially
• 11:48
  if
• 11:48
  there's
• 11:48
  carpet
• 11:49
  or
• 11:49
  stuff,
• 11:50
  there's
• 11:50
  really
• 11:50
  not
• 11:50
  much
• 11:51
  going
• 11:51
  back
• 11:51
  into
• 11:51
  those
• 11:52
  bedrooms.
• 11:52
  And
• 11:52
  this
• 11:52
  is
• 11:52
  a
• 11:52
  great
• 11:53
  solution
• 11:53
  for
• 11:53
  that.
• 11:54
  Yeah.
• 11:54
  Any,
• 11:55
  any
• 11:55
  time
• 11:56
  that
• 11:56
  we
• 11:56
  can
• 11:56
  provide
• 11:56
  more
• 11:57
  cross
• 11:57
  ventilation
• 11:58
  between
• 11:58
  the
• 11:58
  rooms
• 11:59
  is
• 11:59
  a
• 11:59
  positive
• 11:59
  thing.
• 12:00
  When
• 12:00
  we
• 12:01
  see
• 12:01
  big
• 12:02
  differences
• 12:02
  in
• 12:02
  pressure
• 12:03
  differentials
• 12:04
  across
• 12:04
  different
• 12:04
  rooms,
• 12:05
  across
• 12:05
  the
• 12:05
  floor,
• 12:06
  that
• 12:06
  leads
• 12:07
  to
• 12:07
  the
• 12:08
  heat
• 12:08
  that
• 12:09
  or
• 12:09
  the
• 12:09
  cooling
• 12:09
  that
• 12:09
  you've
• 12:10
  paid
• 12:10
  for
• 12:10
  is
• 12:11
  going
• 12:11
  to
• 12:11
  leak
• 12:11
  out
• 12:11
  the
• 12:12
  building
• 12:12
  envelope.
• 12:12
  Right.
• 12:13
  So
• 12:13
  if
• 12:13
  you're
• 12:13
  not
• 12:13
  balancing
• 12:14
  it
• 12:14
  within
• 12:15
  the
• 12:15
  building
• 12:15
  envelope,
• 12:16
  it's
• 12:16
  just
• 12:17
  going
• 12:17
  to
• 12:17
  leak
• 12:17
  out.
• 12:17
  And
• 12:18
  you're
• 12:18
  paying
• 12:18
  for
• 12:19
  your
• 12:19
  money
• 12:19
  to
• 12:20
  be
• 12:20
  heated
• 12:21
  or
• 12:21
  cooled
• 12:22
  outside
• 12:22
  of
• 12:22
  the
• 12:22
  house.
• 12:23
  Absolutely.
• 12:24
  And
• 12:24
  the
• 12:24
  cool
• 12:24
  thing
• 12:25
  is
• 12:25
  too
• 12:25
  is
• 12:25
  that
• 12:25
  you
• 12:25
  still
• 12:26
  get
• 12:26
  that
• 12:27
  sound
• 12:27
  transmission
• 12:28
  thing.
• 12:28
  So
• 12:28
  if
• 12:28
  you
• 12:29
  got
• 12:29
  the
• 12:29
  kids
• 12:29
  playing
• 12:30
  their
• 12:30
  video
• 12:30
  games
• 12:31
  back
• 12:31
  in
• 12:31
  the
• 12:31
  room,
• 12:32
  you're
• 12:32
  not
• 12:32
  hearing
• 12:32
  them
• 12:32
  in
• 12:32
  the
• 12:32
  rest
• 12:32
  of
• 12:33
  the
• 12:33
  house
• 12:33
  because
• 12:33
  it's
• 12:33
  quiet,
• 12:34
  but
• 12:35
  you've
• 12:35
  got
• 12:35
  sound
• 12:35
  control
• 12:36
  with
• 12:36
  that,
• 12:36
  which
• 12:36
  is
• 12:36
  really
• 12:37
  cool.
• 12:37
  Because
• 12:37
  if
• 12:38
  I
• 12:38
  remember
• 12:38
  right,
• 12:38
  doesn't
• 12:39
  that
• 12:39
  basically
• 12:39
  leave
• 12:39
  you
• 12:40
  about
• 12:40
  the
• 12:40
  same
• 12:40
  sound
• 12:41
  transmission
• 12:42
  of
• 12:42
  a
• 12:42
  solid
• 12:42
  corridor
• 12:43
  of
• 12:43
  that
• 12:43
  similar
• 12:44
  size?
• 12:44
  Is
• 12:44
  that
• 12:44
  kind
• 12:45
  of
• 12:45
  about
• 12:45
  the
• 12:45
  basic
• 12:45
  rule
• 12:46
  for
• 12:46
  that?
• 12:46
  Correct.
• 12:47
  So
• 12:48
  we
• 12:48
  have
• 12:48
  developed
• 12:49
  the
• 12:49
  door
• 12:50
  to
• 12:50
  perform
• 12:51
  the
• 12:51
  same
• 12:51
  as
• 12:51
  a
• 12:51
  solid
• 12:52
  Corridor
• 12:52
  in
• 12:53
  third
• 12:53
  party
• 12:53
  testing
• 12:54
  for
• 12:55
  applications
• 12:55
  within
• 12:56
  the
• 12:56
  home
• 12:56
  and
• 12:57
  regardless
• 12:57
  of
• 12:57
  thickness
• 12:58
  of
• 12:58
  the
• 12:58
  door
• 12:58
  as
• 12:58
  well.
• 12:59
  So
• 12:59
  whether
• 12:59
  it's
• 13:00
  inch
• 13:00
  and
• 13:00
  three
• 13:00
  quarters
• 13:00
  or
• 13:01
  inch
• 13:01
  and
• 13:01
  three,
• 13:01
  eight,
• 13:01
  it
• 13:02
  could
• 13:02
  perform
• 13:02
  just
• 13:03
  as
• 13:03
  good
• 13:03
  as
• 13:03
  a
• 13:03
  solid
• 13:04
  door
• 13:04
  in
• 13:05
  that
• 13:05
  application.
• 13:06
  Nice,
• 13:07
  nice.
• 13:07
  And
• 13:08
  that
• 13:08
  is
• 13:08
  so
• 13:08
  cool
• 13:09
  because
• 13:09
  everybody
• 13:10
  knows
• 13:10
  if
• 13:10
  you
• 13:10
  grew
• 13:10
  up
• 13:10
  with
• 13:11
  kids
• 13:11
  or
• 13:11
  you
• 13:11
  had,
• 13:12
  you
• 13:12
  were
• 13:12
  a
• 13:12
  kid.
• 13:13
  And
• 13:13
  those
• 13:13
  holocaust
• 13:14
  doors
• 13:14
  are
• 13:16
  not
• 13:16
  so
• 13:16
  great
• 13:16
  anyway.
• 13:17
  And
• 13:17
  so
• 13:17
  many
• 13:17
  builders
• 13:17
  put
• 13:18
  them
• 13:18
  in.
• 13:18
  You're
• 13:19
  actually
• 13:19
  putting
• 13:19
  in
• 13:19
  if
• 13:20
  you've
• 13:20
  got
• 13:20
  a
• 13:20
  hollow
• 13:20
  core
• 13:21
  door
• 13:21
  in
• 13:21
  there
• 13:21
  to
• 13:21
  begin
• 13:21
  with,
• 13:22
  which
• 13:22
  many
• 13:22
  residential
• 13:23
  doors
• 13:23
  have
• 13:23
  already.
• 13:24
  You
• 13:25
  know,
• 13:25
  without
• 13:25
  getting
• 13:25
  into
• 13:26
  the
• 13:26
  kind
• 13:26
  of
• 13:26
  the
• 13:26
  middle,
• 13:26
  the
• 13:26
  higher
• 13:27
  end
• 13:27
  homes,
• 13:28
  you're
• 13:28
  gonna
• 13:28
  have
• 13:28
  a
• 13:28
  quieter
• 13:29
  door
• 13:29
  than
• 13:29
  what
• 13:29
  you
• 13:29
  probably
• 13:30
  had
• 13:30
  in
• 13:30
  there
• 13:30
  to
• 13:30
  begin
• 13:30
  with.
• 13:31
  Yeah,
• 13:31
  we
• 13:31
  find
• 13:32
  ourselves
• 13:32
  in
• 13:32
  a
• 13:32
  good
• 13:33
  sweet
• 13:33
  spot.
• 13:33
  It's
• 13:34
  about
• 13:34
  the.
• 13:35
  In
• 13:35
  terms
• 13:35
  of
• 13:35
  weight
• 13:36
  of
• 13:36
  the
• 13:36
  door.
• 13:36
  A
• 13:36
  lot
• 13:36
  of
• 13:37
  people
• 13:37
  feel
• 13:37
  that
• 13:37
  hollow
• 13:38
  corridors
• 13:38
  are
• 13:39
  flimsy
• 13:39
  because
• 13:40
  they're
• 13:40
  light.
• 13:40
  And
• 13:41
  when
• 13:41
  you
• 13:41
  close
• 13:41
  the
• 13:41
  door,
• 13:42
  it
• 13:42
  doesn't
• 13:42
  feel
• 13:43
  solid.
• 13:43
  And
• 13:44
  so
• 13:44
  we're
• 13:44
  in
• 13:44
  a
• 13:44
  nice
• 13:45
  kind
• 13:45
  of
• 13:45
  sweet
• 13:45
  spot.
• 13:45
  What
• 13:46
  we
• 13:46
  like
• 13:46
  to
• 13:46
  say,
• 13:46
  a
• 13:46
  semi
• 13:47
  solid
• 13:48
  door.
• 13:48
  And
• 13:48
  it
• 13:49
  gives
• 13:49
  you
• 13:49
  that
• 13:49
  satisfying
• 13:50
  thud,
• 13:51
  so
• 13:51
  to
• 13:51
  speak.
• 13:52
  Close
• 13:52
  your
• 13:52
  door
• 13:53
  when
• 13:53
  you
• 13:54
  use
• 13:54
  the
• 13:54
  door.
• 13:55
  Yeah.
• 13:55
  It's
• 13:56
  funny
• 13:56
  because
• 13:56
  I've
• 13:56
  got
• 13:56
  mine
• 13:57
  sitting
• 13:57
  over
• 13:57
  here
• 13:57
  on
• 13:57
  the
• 13:57
  other
• 13:57
  side
• 13:57
  of
• 13:58
  the
• 13:58
  shop
• 13:58
  getting
• 13:58
  ready
• 13:59
  to
• 13:59
  use
• 13:59
  it
• 13:59
  for
• 13:59
  an
• 14:00
  upcoming
• 14:00
  segment.
• 14:01
  And
• 14:01
  that
• 14:02
  thing
• 14:02
  is
• 14:02
  the
• 14:03
  perfect
• 14:03
  way.
• 14:03
  Whenever
• 14:04
  I
• 14:04
  have
• 14:04
  a
• 14:05
  solid
• 14:06
  core
• 14:06
  door,
• 14:07
  I
• 14:07
  pick
• 14:08
  that
• 14:08
  thing
• 14:08
  up
• 14:08
  and
• 14:08
  it's
• 14:08
  like,
• 14:09
  okay,
• 14:10
  here
• 14:10
  we
• 14:10
  go.
• 14:10
  It's
• 14:11
  that
• 14:11
  happy
• 14:11
  balance
• 14:12
  in
• 14:12
  between
• 14:12
  them.
• 14:13
  And
• 14:13
  that's
• 14:13
  what's
• 14:13
  really
• 14:14
  cool
• 14:14
  with
• 14:14
  that,
• 14:14
  is
• 14:14
  it
• 14:15
  doesn't
• 14:15
  feel
• 14:15
  like
• 14:16
  you're
• 14:16
  throwing
• 14:16
  around
• 14:16
  a
• 14:16
  piece
• 14:17
  of
• 14:17
  cardboard,
• 14:18
  but
• 14:18
  at
• 14:18
  the
• 14:18
  same
• 14:19
  point,
• 14:19
  it's
• 14:20
  got
• 14:20
  some
• 14:20
  beef
• 14:20
  to
• 14:20
  it.
• 14:21
  So
• 14:21
  it
• 14:21
  feels
• 14:22
  quality
• 14:22
  and
• 14:22
  solid
• 14:23
  and
• 14:23
  is
• 14:23
  going
• 14:23
  to
• 14:23
  give
• 14:24
  you
• 14:24
  that
• 14:24
  nice
• 14:24
  kind
• 14:24
  of
• 14:25
  click
• 14:25
  with
• 14:25
  the
• 14:25
  latch
• 14:25
  versus
• 14:26
  the
• 14:27
  rattle
• 14:27
  click.
• 14:29
  That
• 14:30
  is
• 14:30
  awesome.
• 14:30
  Now
• 14:30
  I
• 14:31
  guess
• 14:31
  the
• 14:31
  big
• 14:31
  question
• 14:32
  is.
• 14:33
  What
• 14:33
  sizes
• 14:33
  are
• 14:34
  available?
• 14:34
  How
• 14:34
  custom
• 14:35
  are
• 14:35
  you
• 14:35
  guys
• 14:35
  with
• 14:35
  this?
• 14:36
  Because
• 14:36
  so
• 14:37
  many
• 14:37
  different
• 14:37
  homes
• 14:37
  have
• 14:38
  so
• 14:38
  many
• 14:38
  different
• 14:38
  finishes
• 14:39
  and
• 14:39
  doors.
• 14:39
  What
• 14:40
  are
• 14:40
  the
• 14:40
  options
• 14:40
  that
• 14:40
  people
• 14:40
  have
• 14:41
  with
• 14:41
  that?
• 14:41
  Yeah,
• 14:42
  I
• 14:42
  would
• 14:42
  say
• 14:42
  that
• 14:42
  we've
• 14:43
  got
• 14:43
  lots
• 14:43
  of
• 14:43
  options
• 14:44
  for
• 14:44
  everybody.
• 14:45
  The
• 14:45
  narrowest
• 14:46
  door
• 14:46
  that
• 14:46
  we
• 14:46
  make
• 14:46
  is
• 14:47
  one
• 14:47
  foot
• 14:47
  wide.
• 14:48
  The
• 14:48
  widest
• 14:48
  we
• 14:48
  make
• 14:48
  is
• 14:49
  four
• 14:49
  feet
• 14:49
  wide.
• 14:50
  And
• 14:50
  in
• 14:50
  terms
• 14:51
  of
• 14:51
  height,
• 14:51
  we
• 14:51
  can
• 14:52
  go
• 14:52
  all
• 14:52
  the
• 14:52
  way
• 14:52
  up
• 14:52
  to
• 14:52
  10ft.
• 14:53
  So
• 14:53
  we
• 14:53
  do
• 14:54
  everything
• 14:55
  in
• 14:55
  between
• 14:55
  that.
• 14:56
  Wow.
• 14:57
  Okay.
• 14:57
  You
• 14:58
  have
• 14:58
  options
• 14:58
  for
• 14:59
  just
• 14:59
  about
• 14:59
  anything.
• 15:00
  That
• 15:00
  is
• 15:00
  cool.
• 15:01
  Wow.
• 15:02
  Okay,
• 15:02
  so
• 15:03
  veneers
• 15:04
  and
• 15:04
  stuff
• 15:04
  on
• 15:04
  that.
• 15:05
  What
• 15:05
  are
• 15:05
  the
• 15:05
  options
• 15:05
  on
• 15:05
  that?
• 15:06
  Pretty.
• 15:06
  If
• 15:07
  it's
• 15:07
  available,
• 15:07
  you
• 15:07
  guys
• 15:07
  work
• 15:08
  with
• 15:08
  it.
• 15:08
  Yeah.
• 15:09
  Standard
• 15:09
  veneer
• 15:10
  finishes
• 15:10
  would
• 15:10
  be
• 15:11
  fir,
• 15:11
  maple,
• 15:13
  white
• 15:13
  Oak,
• 15:14
  walnut.
• 15:15
  But
• 15:15
  anything
• 15:16
  that
• 15:16
  the
• 15:17
  customer
• 15:17
  can
• 15:17
  imagine,
• 15:18
  we
• 15:18
  can
• 15:18
  put
• 15:18
  onto
• 15:19
  the
• 15:19
  door.
• 15:19
  It's
• 15:20
  just
• 15:20
  a
• 15:20
  matter
• 15:20
  of
• 15:20
  us
• 15:21
  sourcing
• 15:21
  the
• 15:21
  material.
• 15:22
  So
• 15:22
  we've
• 15:23
  worked
• 15:23
  with
• 15:23
  custom
• 15:23
  veneer
• 15:24
  layups.
• 15:24
  If
• 15:25
  you're
• 15:25
  looking
• 15:26
  for
• 15:26
  a
• 15:26
  certain
• 15:26
  cut,
• 15:26
  whether
• 15:27
  that's
• 15:27
  quarter
• 15:27
  or
• 15:27
  flat,
• 15:28
  cut,
• 15:28
  sequence,
• 15:29
  match
• 15:29
  book,
• 15:29
  match,
• 15:30
  slip
• 15:30
  match.
• 15:31
  But
• 15:31
  we
• 15:31
  can
• 15:31
  really
• 15:31
  customize
• 15:32
  it
• 15:33
  for
• 15:33
  you.
• 15:33
  We
• 15:33
  work
• 15:33
  with
• 15:33
  a
• 15:34
  local
• 15:34
  veneer
• 15:34
  shop
• 15:34
  here.
• 15:35
  We
• 15:35
  can
• 15:35
  even
• 15:36
  customize
• 15:36
  the
• 15:36
  flitch
• 15:37
  width
• 15:37
  of
• 15:37
  the
• 15:37
  veneer.
• 15:38
  So
• 15:38
  we're
• 15:39
  really
• 15:39
  turnkey
• 15:40
  here
• 15:40
  and
• 15:41
  can.
• 15:41
  We
• 15:42
  can't
• 15:42
  get
• 15:42
  our
• 15:42
  hands
• 15:42
  on
• 15:42
  it.
• 15:43
  I'm
• 15:43
  sure
• 15:43
  we'll.
• 15:44
  We'll
• 15:44
  be
• 15:44
  able
• 15:44
  to
• 15:44
  find
• 15:44
  someone
• 15:45
  who
• 15:45
  can
• 15:46
  get
• 15:46
  us
• 15:46
  that
• 15:47
  product.
• 15:47
  That's
• 15:48
  amazing.
• 15:48
  And
• 15:49
  the
• 15:49
  other
• 15:49
  thing
• 15:49
  I
• 15:49
  was
• 15:49
  thinking
• 15:49
  about
• 15:49
  is
• 15:50
  another
• 15:50
  great
• 15:51
  use
• 15:51
  case,
• 15:52
  being
• 15:52
  that
• 15:52
  we're
• 15:52
  all,
• 15:53
  you
• 15:53
  and
• 15:53
  I
• 15:53
  both
• 15:53
  are
• 15:53
  in
• 15:53
  the
• 15:53
  Pacific
• 15:54
  Northwest.
• 15:55
  Here
• 15:55
  we
• 15:55
  are
• 15:56
  coming
• 15:56
  into
• 15:56
  that
• 15:56
  time
• 15:56
  of
• 15:57
  year.
• 15:57
  As
• 15:57
  I
• 15:57
  hear
• 15:57
  the
• 15:58
  rain
• 15:58
  hitting
• 15:58
  on
• 15:58
  the
• 15:58
  roof
• 15:59
  right
• 15:59
  now
• 15:59
  of
• 15:59
  my
• 15:59
  office,
• 16:00
  it's
• 16:00
  that
• 16:00
  wet
• 16:01
  season.
• 16:01
  And
• 16:01
  so
• 16:01
  many
• 16:02
  people
• 16:02
  make
• 16:02
  the
• 16:02
  mistakes
• 16:03
  in
• 16:03
  their
• 16:03
  hall
• 16:04
  closets.
• 16:04
  You
• 16:05
  come
• 16:05
  in
• 16:05
  the
• 16:05
  door,
• 16:05
  there's
• 16:05
  a
• 16:05
  whole
• 16:06
  closet.
• 16:06
  They
• 16:06
  take
• 16:07
  their
• 16:07
  jacket
• 16:07
  off,
• 16:08
  shake
• 16:08
  it.
• 16:08
  Off
• 16:08
  a
• 16:08
  second,
• 16:09
  and
• 16:09
  they
• 16:09
  go
• 16:09
  hanging
• 16:09
  up,
• 16:10
  and
• 16:10
  they
• 16:10
  have
• 16:10
  a
• 16:10
  moldy
• 16:10
  closet.
• 16:11
  This
• 16:11
  would
• 16:11
  be
• 16:12
  a
• 16:12
  great
• 16:13
  way
• 16:13
  to
• 16:14
  solve
• 16:14
  that
• 16:14
  without
• 16:14
  having
• 16:14
  to
• 16:15
  leave
• 16:15
  your
• 16:15
  jackets
• 16:15
  out
• 16:15
  for
• 16:16
  a
• 16:16
  day
• 16:16
  or
• 16:16
  two
• 16:16
  to
• 16:16
  dry
• 16:17
  out.
• 16:17
  You
• 16:18
  can
• 16:18
  now
• 16:18
  get
• 16:18
  some
• 16:18
  ventilation
• 16:19
  to
• 16:19
  those
• 16:19
  whole
• 16:19
  closets
• 16:20
  and
• 16:20
  still
• 16:20
  make
• 16:20
  it
• 16:20
  look
• 16:21
  nice.
• 16:21
  And
• 16:22
  it's
• 16:22
  just
• 16:22
  another
• 16:23
  use
• 16:23
  for
• 16:23
  one
• 16:23
  of
• 16:24
  these
• 16:24
  doors
• 16:25
  so
• 16:25
  you
• 16:25
  can
• 16:25
  reduce
• 16:26
  that
• 16:26
  mold
• 16:26
  and
• 16:26
  have
• 16:26
  healthier
• 16:27
  indoor
• 16:27
  air
• 16:27
  quality.
• 16:28
  That's
• 16:28
  exactly
• 16:29
  right.
• 16:29
  So
• 16:29
  it'll
• 16:30
  help
• 16:30
  alleviate
• 16:31
  any
• 16:31
  humidity
• 16:32
  and
• 16:32
  moisture
• 16:32
  issues
• 16:33
  that
• 16:33
  you
• 16:33
  might
• 16:33
  have
• 16:34
  and
• 16:34
  just
• 16:34
  allow
• 16:34
  air
• 16:34
  to
• 16:34
  flow
• 16:35
  in
• 16:35
  and
• 16:35
  out
• 16:35
  of
• 16:35
  those
• 16:36
  spaces.
• 16:36
  Yeah,
• 16:37
  that
• 16:37
  is
• 16:37
  great
• 16:38
  question
• 16:38
  for
• 16:39
  you.
• 16:39
  When
• 16:39
  you're
• 16:39
  finishing
• 16:40
  these
• 16:40
  doors,
• 16:41
  how
• 16:41
  do
• 16:41
  you
• 16:41
  deal
• 16:41
  with
• 16:42
  kind
• 16:42
  of
• 16:42
  the
• 16:43
  inside
• 16:43
  recess
• 16:44
  part
• 16:44
  of
• 16:44
  it?
• 16:44
  Because
• 16:44
  you
• 16:44
  guys
• 16:44
  are
• 16:45
  putting
• 16:45
  in
• 16:45
  a
• 16:45
  really
• 16:46
  nice
• 16:47
  oval.
• 16:48
  Almost
• 16:48
  like
• 16:48
  what
• 16:48
  if
• 16:49
  you
• 16:49
  were
• 16:49
  trying
• 16:49
  to
• 16:49
  envision,
• 16:50
  for
• 16:50
  the
• 16:50
  people
• 16:51
  out
• 16:51
  there
• 16:51
  listening
• 16:51
  on
• 16:51
  the
• 16:51
  radio,
• 16:52
  a
• 16:52
  long,
• 16:53
  straight
• 16:53
  router
• 16:54
  cut.
• 16:54
  Right.
• 16:54
  That
• 16:55
  you
• 16:55
  would
• 16:55
  have
• 16:55
  with
• 16:55
  that.
• 16:56
  That's
• 16:56
  nice
• 16:57
  and
• 16:57
  big.
• 16:57
  What's
• 16:58
  the
• 16:58
  best
• 16:58
  way
• 16:58
  for
• 16:58
  people
• 16:59
  to.
• 16:59
  Finish
• 16:59
  the
• 16:59
  inside
• 17:00
  of
• 17:00
  that
• 17:00
  to
• 17:00
  give
• 17:00
  the
• 17:01
  right
• 17:01
  look?
• 17:01
  Yeah,
• 17:02
  that's
• 17:02
  a
• 17:02
  really
• 17:02
  great
• 17:03
  question,
• 17:03
  Eric,
• 17:04
  on
• 17:04
  the
• 17:04
  painted
• 17:05
  finishes.
• 17:05
  So
• 17:06
  it
• 17:06
  typically
• 17:07
  will
• 17:07
  come
• 17:07
  primed
• 17:08
  us,
• 17:08
  and
• 17:08
  it's
• 17:09
  typically
• 17:09
  primed
• 17:09
  white.
• 17:10
  And
• 17:10
  so
• 17:10
  if
• 17:10
  you're.
• 17:11
  If
• 17:11
  you're
• 17:11
  spraying
• 17:12
  a
• 17:12
  white
• 17:12
  finish
• 17:13
  onto
• 17:13
  the
• 17:13
  doors,
• 17:13
  that's
• 17:14
  sort
• 17:14
  of
• 17:14
  the
• 17:14
  ideal
• 17:14
  case
• 17:15
  where
• 17:15
  if
• 17:15
  you
• 17:16
  hit
• 17:16
  it
• 17:16
  at
• 17:16
  the
• 17:16
  right
• 17:17
  angle,
• 17:17
  you'll
• 17:17
  insert
• 17:18
  ensure
• 17:18
  that
• 17:18
  you
• 17:18
  have
• 17:19
  good
• 17:19
  coverage
• 17:20
  in
• 17:20
  and
• 17:20
  around
• 17:21
  the
• 17:21
  ventilation
• 17:21
  slot
• 17:22
  itself.
• 17:22
  If
• 17:23
  you
• 17:23
  don't
• 17:23
  have
• 17:23
  access
• 17:23
  to
• 17:23
  a
• 17:23
  spray
• 17:24
  gun,
• 17:24
  we
• 17:25
  typically
• 17:25
  see
• 17:25
  people
• 17:26
  rolling
• 17:26
  paint
• 17:27
  on
• 17:27
  to
• 17:27
  the
• 17:27
  door
• 17:28
  faces
• 17:28
  and
• 17:29
  then
• 17:29
  finishing
• 17:29
  up
• 17:29
  the
• 17:30
  slot
• 17:30
  with
• 17:30
  like
• 17:30
  a
• 17:30
  trim
• 17:31
  brush.
• 17:31
  The
• 17:31
  slot
• 17:32
  is
• 17:32
  about
• 17:32
  7,
• 17:32
  8,
• 17:33
  7
• 17:33
  inch
• 17:33
  wide
• 17:34
  and
• 17:34
  so
• 17:34
  it
• 17:34
  can
• 17:34
  fit
• 17:35
  a
• 17:35
  small
• 17:35
  trim
• 17:35
  brush
• 17:36
  that
• 17:36
  you
• 17:36
  can
• 17:36
  run
• 17:37
  inside
• 17:37
  of
• 17:37
  it
• 17:38
  to
• 17:38
  achieve
• 17:38
  that
• 17:39
  look.
• 17:39
  Multiple
• 17:39
  coats
• 17:40
  I
• 17:40
  would
• 17:40
  recommend,
• 17:41
  but
• 17:42
  for
• 17:42
  your
• 17:42
  typical
• 17:42
  spray
• 17:43
  finish,
• 17:43
  it's
• 17:44
  very
• 17:44
  simple.
• 17:44
  We
• 17:45
  haven't
• 17:45
  seen
• 17:45
  any
• 17:45
  painters
• 17:46
  on
• 17:46
  whether
• 17:47
  that's
• 17:47
  in
• 17:47
  a
• 17:47
  professional
• 17:48
  factory
• 17:49
  setting
• 17:49
  or
• 17:49
  in
• 17:50
  the
• 17:50
  field
• 17:50
  finishing,
• 17:51
  have
• 17:51
  any
• 17:51
  issues
• 17:52
  with
• 17:52
  that.
• 17:53
  And
• 17:53
  as
• 17:53
  far
• 17:53
  as
• 17:54
  transparent
• 17:54
  finishes
• 17:54
  go
• 17:55
  or
• 17:55
  stains
• 17:55
  go,
• 17:56
  similar
• 17:56
  process
• 17:56
  to
• 17:57
  that
• 17:57
  where
• 17:58
  for
• 17:58
  transparent
• 17:58
  finishes,
• 17:59
  if
• 17:59
  you're
• 17:59
  spraying
• 18:00
  on,
• 18:00
  you'll
• 18:01
  have
• 18:01
  good
• 18:01
  coverage.
• 18:02
  And
• 18:03
  if
• 18:03
  you're
• 18:03
  going
• 18:03
  to
• 18:03
  roll
• 18:04
  or
• 18:05
  brush
• 18:05
  transparent
• 18:06
  finishes
• 18:06
  on,
• 18:06
  it's
• 18:07
  the
• 18:07
  same
• 18:07
  process.
• 18:08
  So
• 18:08
  it's.
• 18:09
  It's
• 18:09
  an
• 18:09
  added
• 18:09
  step,
• 18:10
  I'd
• 18:10
  say.
• 18:10
  But
• 18:11
  I
• 18:11
  would
• 18:11
  definitely
• 18:12
  say
• 18:12
  it's
• 18:12
  easier
• 18:13
  than
• 18:13
  painting
• 18:14
  a
• 18:14
  full
• 18:14
  louver
• 18:14
  door
• 18:15
  when
• 18:15
  you
• 18:15
  have
• 18:16
  close.
• 18:16
  Imagine
• 18:17
  getting
• 18:17
  a
• 18:17
  brush
• 18:18
  in
• 18:18
  and
• 18:18
  around
• 18:18
  those
• 18:19
  corners.
• 18:19
  Right.
• 18:20
  So
• 18:20
  it's
• 18:20
  going
• 18:21
  to.
• 18:21
  It's
• 18:21
  going
• 18:21
  to
• 18:21
  be
• 18:21
  a
• 18:21
  lot
• 18:21
  easier
• 18:22
  than
• 18:22
  that.
• 18:22
  I
• 18:22
  can,
• 18:23
  I
• 18:23
  can
• 18:23
  guarantee
• 18:23
  that.
• 18:24
  That
• 18:24
  is
• 18:24
  awesome.
• 18:25
  I
• 18:25
  still
• 18:25
  have
• 18:25
  nightmares
• 18:26
  as
• 18:26
  a
• 18:26
  kid
• 18:26
  in
• 18:26
  the
• 18:27
  70s,
• 18:27
  my
• 18:27
  parents
• 18:28
  going,
• 18:28
  all
• 18:28
  right,
• 18:28
  you're
• 18:28
  painting
• 18:29
  your
• 18:29
  room.
• 18:29
  Awesome,
• 18:29
  cool,
• 18:30
  fun
• 18:30
  painting
• 18:30
  project.
• 18:31
  I
• 18:31
  was
• 18:31
  a
• 18:32
  little
• 18:32
  kid
• 18:32
  and
• 18:32
  I
• 18:32
  looked
• 18:32
  at
• 18:33
  these
• 18:33
  doors
• 18:33
  and
• 18:33
  I
• 18:33
  had
• 18:33
  those
• 18:34
  louver
• 18:34
  doors
• 18:34
  as
• 18:34
  a
• 18:34
  kid
• 18:35
  because
• 18:35
  it
• 18:35
  was
• 18:35
  a
• 18:35
  70s
• 18:35
  and
• 18:36
  it
• 18:36
  was
• 18:36
  like,
• 18:36
  you've
• 18:37
  got
• 18:37
  to
• 18:37
  be
• 18:37
  kidding
• 18:38
  me.
• 18:38
  This
• 18:38
  is
• 18:38
  going
• 18:38
  to
• 18:39
  take
• 18:39
  me
• 18:39
  a
• 18:39
  day
• 18:40
  to
• 18:41
  hand
• 18:42
  brush
• 18:43
  all
• 18:43
  these
• 18:43
  little
• 18:43
  things
• 18:43
  and
• 18:44
  get
• 18:44
  it
• 18:44
  perfect.
• 18:45
  It
• 18:45
  was
• 18:45
  not
• 18:46
  a
• 18:46
  fun
• 18:46
  project
• 18:46
  as
• 18:46
  a
• 18:46
  kid.
• 18:47
  My
• 18:47
  attention
• 18:47
  span
• 18:48
  was
• 18:48
  not
• 18:48
  ready
• 18:48
  for
• 18:48
  that.
• 18:49
  Absolutely.
• 18:50
  And
• 18:50
  then
• 18:51
  basically,
• 18:51
  since
• 18:51
  you
• 18:52
  guys
• 18:52
  are
• 18:52
  doing
• 18:52
  blanks
• 18:53
  on
• 18:54

• 18:54

  that
• 18:57
  because
• 18:58
  again,
• 18:58
  you're
• 18:58
  making.
• 18:59
  It
• 18:59

  back
• 20:02
  to

  our

• 20:03
  Kind
• 20:03
  of
• 20:03
  get
• 20:03
  this
• 20:04
  one
• 20:04
  more
• 20:04
  wrapped
• 20:04
  up
• 20:05
  with
• 20:05
  Vic
• 20:05
  from
• 20:06
  Van
• 20:06

  Doors
• 20:07
  about
• 20:07
  some
• 20:07
  cool
• 20:08
  architectural
• 20:09
  doors
• 20:09
  that
• 20:10
  move
• 20:10
  air
• 20:10
  without
• 20:11
  an
• 20:11
  ugly
• 20:11
  grill
• 20:12
  or
• 20:12
  vent.
• 20:13
  That's
• 20:13
  right.
• 20:13
  It
• 20:13
  was
• 20:14
  designed
• 20:14
  to
• 20:14
  work
• 20:14
  with
• 20:15
  all
• 20:15
  the
• 20:15
  hardware
• 20:16
  that's
• 20:16
  commercially
• 20:17
  available.
• 20:18
  So
• 20:18
  regular
• 20:19
  lock
• 20:20
  sets,
• 20:20
  hinges,
• 20:21
  concealed
• 20:21
  hinges,
• 20:22
  door
• 20:23
  closers,
• 20:23
  automatic
• 20:24
  door
• 20:24
  bottoms.
• 20:25
  It
• 20:25
  even
• 20:25
  works
• 20:26
  if
• 20:26
  you
• 20:26
  have
• 20:26
  an
• 20:26
  electrified
• 20:27
  hinge
• 20:27
  if
• 20:27
  you
• 20:27
  need
• 20:27
  to
• 20:28
  electrify
• 20:28
  the
• 20:28
  strike
• 20:28
  or
• 20:29
  handle
• 20:29
  lock
• 20:29
  set.
• 20:30
  And
• 20:30
  so
• 20:31
  we
• 20:31
  designed
• 20:31
  it
• 20:31
  in
• 20:32
  a
• 20:32
  way
• 20:32
  that
• 20:32
  it
• 20:33
  would
• 20:33
  fit
• 20:33
  with
• 20:34
  all
• 20:34
  hardware
• 20:35
  and
• 20:35
  all
• 20:35
  frames
• 20:36
  as
• 20:36
  well.
• 20:36
  So
• 20:37
  pocket
• 20:37
  door
• 20:38
  frames
• 20:38
  is
• 20:38
  fine
• 20:39
  as
• 20:39
  well.
• 20:39
  Sliding
• 20:40
  hardware
• 20:41
  is
• 20:41
  fine
• 20:41
  as
• 20:41
  well.
• 20:42
  So
• 20:42
  really
• 20:43
  like
• 20:44
  it's
• 20:44
  pretty
• 20:45
  much
• 20:45
  the
• 20:45
  same
• 20:45
  door
• 20:46
  that
• 20:46
  everyone's
• 20:47
  typically
• 20:47
  used
• 20:47
  to,
• 20:48
  just
• 20:48
  with
• 20:48
  the
• 20:48
  added
• 20:49
  benefit
• 20:49
  and
• 20:49
  the
• 20:49
  technology
• 20:50
  inside
• 20:50
  the
• 20:50
  core.
• 20:51
  Nice.
• 20:52
  Now
• 20:52
  how
• 20:52
  do
• 20:52
  you
• 20:53
  guys
• 20:53
  work
• 20:53
  with
• 20:53
  door
• 20:54
  companies
• 20:54
  or
• 20:55
  the
• 20:55
  retail
• 20:55
  folks
• 20:56
  or
• 20:56
  contractors?
• 20:57
  How
• 20:57
  are
• 20:57
  you
• 20:57
  guys
• 20:58
  set
• 20:58
  up
• 20:58
  as
• 20:58
  far
• 20:58
  as
• 20:58
  distribution
• 20:59
  so
• 20:59
  people
• 20:59
  can
• 21:00
  navigate
• 21:00
  the
• 21:01
  way
• 21:01
  you
• 21:01
  guys
• 21:01
  work?
• 21:02
  Yeah,
• 21:02
  so
• 21:02
  we
• 21:02
  work
• 21:02
  with
• 21:03
  several
• 21:04
  wholesale
• 21:04
  distribution
• 21:05
  companies
• 21:06
  who
• 21:07
  will
• 21:07
  sell
• 21:07
  to
• 21:08
  the
• 21:09
  local
• 21:10
  supplier
• 21:11
  of
• 21:11
  doors.
• 21:12
  And
• 21:12
  so
• 21:12
  that's
• 21:13
  kind
• 21:13
  of
• 21:13
  our
• 21:14
  go
• 21:14
  to
• 21:14
  market
• 21:15
  strategy
• 21:15
  or
• 21:16
  distribution
• 21:16
  channel.
• 21:17
  And
• 21:17
  so
• 21:17
  if
• 21:18
  people
• 21:18
  are
• 21:18
  looking
• 21:18
  for
• 21:18
  a
• 21:19
  product,
• 21:19
  we
• 21:20
  recommend
• 21:20
  that
• 21:20
  they
• 21:20
  get
• 21:20
  in
• 21:20
  touch
• 21:20
  with
• 21:21
  us
• 21:21
  and
• 21:22
  we
• 21:22
  can
• 21:22
  point
• 21:22
  them
• 21:22
  to
• 21:22
  the
• 21:23
  right
• 21:23
  supplier
• 21:24
  and
• 21:24
  have
• 21:24
  them
• 21:24
  serviced
• 21:25
  that
• 21:25
  way.
• 21:26
  That
• 21:26
  makes
• 21:26
  sense.
• 21:27
  So
• 21:27
  that
• 21:27
  way
• 21:27
  you've
• 21:27
  got
• 21:27
  the
• 21:28
  local
• 21:28
  expert
• 21:29
  kind
• 21:29
  of
• 21:29
  working
• 21:29
  hand
• 21:30
  in
• 21:30
  hand
• 21:30
  to
• 21:30
  make
• 21:30
  sure
• 21:30
  doors
• 21:31
  get
• 21:31
  ordered
• 21:31
  correctly
• 21:32
  and
• 21:32
  things
• 21:32
  like
• 21:32
  that
• 21:33
  that
• 21:33
  get
• 21:33
  made
• 21:34
  through
• 21:34
  the
• 21:34
  process
• 21:35
  correctly.
• 21:35
  Because
• 21:36
  tell
• 21:36
  you
• 21:36
  what,
• 21:36
  that
• 21:36
  is
• 21:36
  probably
• 21:37
  for
• 21:37
  most
• 21:38
  homeowners,
• 21:38
  one
• 21:38
  of
• 21:38
  the
• 21:38
  most
• 21:39
  confusing
• 21:39
  things
• 21:40
  is
• 21:40
  trying
• 21:40
  to
• 21:40
  place
• 21:41
  a
• 21:41
  door
• 21:41
  ordering
• 21:41
  to
• 21:41
  get
• 21:42
  it
• 21:42
  right.
• 21:42
  Exactly.
• 21:43
  There's
• 21:44
  so
• 21:44
  many
• 21:45
  nuances
• 21:45
  with
• 21:45
  ordering
• 21:46
  the
• 21:46
  door.
• 21:46
  Typically
• 21:47
  manufacturers
• 21:48
  just
• 21:48
  make
• 21:48
  the
• 21:48
  slab
• 21:48
  itself.
• 21:49
  And
• 21:50
  so
• 21:50
  you're
• 21:50
  really
• 21:50
  having
• 21:51
  to
• 21:51
  rely
• 21:51
  on
• 21:51
  distribution
• 21:52
  to
• 21:52
  put
• 21:52
  the
• 21:52
  frame
• 21:52
  on
• 21:53
  for
• 21:53
  you
• 21:53
  to
• 21:53
  supply
• 21:53
  the
• 21:54
  hinges
• 21:54
  and
• 21:54
  supply
• 21:54
  the
• 21:55
  hardware.
• 21:55
  And
• 21:55
  so
• 21:56
  that's
• 21:56
  where
• 21:56
  they're
• 21:56
  going
• 21:57
  to
• 21:57
  help
• 21:57
  the
• 21:57
  homeowner
• 21:58
  or
• 21:58
  the
• 21:58
  contractor
• 21:59
  sort
• 21:59
  that
• 21:59
  all
• 21:59
  out.
• 22:00
  Makes
• 22:00
  a
• 22:00
  lot
• 22:00
  of
• 22:00
  sense.
• 22:01
  So
• 22:01
  what
• 22:01
  are
• 22:02
  the
• 22:02
  best
• 22:02
  people?
• 22:02
  What's
• 22:03
  the
• 22:03
  best
• 22:03
  people
• 22:03
  to
• 22:03
  track
• 22:04
  you
• 22:04
  guys
• 22:04
  down?
• 22:05
  Vic?
• 22:05
  Because
• 22:06
  you
• 22:06
  guys
• 22:06
  have
• 22:07
  such
• 22:07
  an
• 22:07
  innovative
• 22:08
  solution
• 22:08
  for
• 22:08
  people
• 22:09
  that
• 22:10
  need
• 22:10
  ventilation
• 22:11
  and
• 22:11
  correct
• 22:11
  ventilation
• 22:12
  and
• 22:12
  sound
• 22:13
  control
• 22:13
  for
• 22:13
  these
• 22:13
  rooms.
• 22:14
  Yeah,
• 22:14
  I
• 22:14
  guess
• 22:15
  as
• 22:15
  we're
• 22:15
  expanding
• 22:16
  our
• 22:16
  coverage
• 22:17
  nationwide
• 22:17
  right
• 22:18
  now,
• 22:18
  the
• 22:19
  best
• 22:19
  way
• 22:19
  to
• 22:19
  get
• 22:19
  in
• 22:19
  touch
• 22:20
  with
• 22:20
  us
• 22:20
  would
• 22:20
  be
• 22:21
  through
• 22:21
  our
• 22:22
  website
• 22:22
  or
• 22:23
  phone
• 22:23
  or
• 22:24
  email.
• 22:24
  And
• 22:25
  we'll
• 22:25
  really
• 22:26
  point
• 22:26
  you
• 22:26
  to
• 22:27
  the
• 22:27
  right
• 22:27
  suppliers.
• 22:28
  We're
• 22:28
  working
• 22:28
  with
• 22:29
  knowledgeable
• 22:30
  people
• 22:30
  in
• 22:30
  the
• 22:30
  industry.
• 22:31
  We
• 22:31
  don't
• 22:31
  want
• 22:31
  to
• 22:32
  be
• 22:32
  set
• 22:32
  up
• 22:32
  with
• 22:34
  the
• 22:34
  Home
• 22:34
  Depots
• 22:35
  or
• 22:35
  the
• 22:35
  big
• 22:35
  box
• 22:35
  stores
• 22:36
  just
• 22:36
  yet.
• 22:36
  Just
• 22:37
  because
• 22:38
  there's
• 22:38
  a
• 22:38
  bit
• 22:38
  more
• 22:38
  involved
• 22:39
  with
• 22:39
  this
• 22:39
  product.
• 22:39
  You've
• 22:40
  got
• 22:40
  the
• 22:40
  ventilation
• 22:41
  aspect
• 22:41
  and
• 22:42
  the
• 22:42
  acoustic
• 22:42
  aspect.
• 22:43
  And
• 22:43
  so
• 22:44
  we're
• 22:44
  taking
• 22:45
  a
• 22:46
  skilled
• 22:47
  approach
• 22:48
  to
• 22:49
  getting
• 22:50
  coverage
• 22:50
  across
• 22:50
  North
• 22:51
  America.
• 22:51
  That
• 22:52
  is
• 22:52
  a
• 22:52
  smart
• 22:52
  plan.
• 22:53
  As
• 22:53
  somebody
• 22:53
  that
• 22:53
  has
• 22:54
  worked
• 22:54
  with
• 22:54
  companies
• 22:54
  that
• 22:55
  have
• 22:55
  put
• 22:55
  Stuff
• 22:55
  into
• 22:55
  the
• 22:56
  big
• 22:56
  box
• 22:56
  stores.
• 22:57
  That
• 22:57
  can
• 22:57
  be
• 22:58
  its
• 22:58
  own
• 22:58
  headache.
• 22:59
  And
• 22:59
  no
• 23:00
  offense,
• 23:00
  big
• 23:00
  box
• 23:00
  doors,
• 23:01
  but
• 23:01
  it's
• 23:01
  not
• 23:02
  easy
• 23:02
  for
• 23:02
  manufacturers
• 23:03
  to
• 23:03
  work
• 23:03
  with
• 23:03
  you,
• 23:03
  especially
• 23:03
  with
• 23:04
  a
• 23:04
  custom
• 23:04
  product.
• 23:04
  That
• 23:05
  can
• 23:05
  be
• 23:05
  a
• 23:05
  process
• 23:06
  that
• 23:06
  could
• 23:06
  pull
• 23:06
  your
• 23:06
  hair
• 23:07
  out,
• 23:07
  that's
• 23:07
  for
• 23:07
  sure.
• 23:08
  Yeah.
• 23:08
  The
• 23:09
  beauty
• 23:09
  with
• 23:09
  a
• 23:09
  door
• 23:10
  product
• 23:10
  is
• 23:10
  that
• 23:11
  it's
• 23:11
  almost
• 23:11
  infinitely
• 23:12
  configurable.
• 23:13
  Right.
• 23:13
  You
• 23:13
  can
• 23:14
  make
• 23:14
  any
• 23:15
  size
• 23:15
  down
• 23:15
  to
• 23:16
  a
• 23:16
  sixteenth
• 23:16
  of
• 23:16
  an
• 23:17
  inch
• 23:17
  if
• 23:17
  you
• 23:17
  wanted
• 23:17
  to.
• 23:18
  The
• 23:19
  machining
• 23:19
  for
• 23:19
  the
• 23:20
  hinges.
• 23:20
  Right.
• 23:20
  They
• 23:21
  could
• 23:21
  be
• 23:21
  placed
• 23:21
  in
• 23:22
  any
• 23:23
  position
• 23:23
  that
• 23:23
  you
• 23:23
  can
• 23:23
  imagine.
• 23:24
  The
• 23:24
  handle
• 23:24
  can
• 23:25
  be
• 23:25
  placed
• 23:25
  in
• 23:25
  any
• 23:25
  position
• 23:26
  that
• 23:26
  you
• 23:26
  imagine.
• 23:27
  And
• 23:27
  so
• 23:27
  we're
• 23:28
  really
• 23:28
  wanting
• 23:28
  to
• 23:29
  make
• 23:29
  sure
• 23:29
  that
• 23:29
  we
• 23:29
  carry
• 23:30
  the
• 23:30
  customization
• 23:31
  aspects
• 23:31
  of
• 23:31
  the
• 23:32
  door
• 23:32
  through
• 23:33
  to
• 23:33
  the
• 23:33
  homeowner.
• 23:34
  And
• 23:34
  so
• 23:35
  we
• 23:35
  are
• 23:35
  working
• 23:36
  with
• 23:36
  select
• 23:36
  folks
• 23:37
  in
• 23:37
  the
• 23:37
  industry
• 23:38
  to,
• 23:39
  you
• 23:39
  know,
• 23:39
  provide
• 23:40
  that
• 23:40
  beautiful.
• 23:41
  So
• 23:41
  what's
• 23:41
  the
• 23:41
  best
• 23:41
  website
• 23:42
  for
• 23:42
  people
• 23:42
  to
• 23:42
  go
• 23:43
  to
• 23:43
  to
• 23:43
  find
• 23:43
  out
• 23:43
  more
• 23:43
  information
• 23:44
  for
• 23:44
  you?
• 23:45
  It
• 23:45
  would
• 23:45
  be
• 23:45
  Vanyard
• 23:46
  design
• 23:46
  dot
• 23:46
  com.
• 23:47
  That
• 23:47
  is
• 23:47
  awesome.
• 23:48
  So
• 23:48
  Vic,
• 23:49
  what
• 23:49
  have
• 23:49
  we
• 23:49
  not
• 23:49
  touched
• 23:50
  on
• 23:50
  here
• 23:50
  today?
• 23:50
  Because
• 23:51
  you
• 23:51
  guys
• 23:51
  have
• 23:51
  such
• 23:52
  a.
• 23:52
  A
• 23:53
  wide
• 23:53
  range
• 23:53
  of
• 23:54
  doors
• 23:55
  and
• 23:56
  solutions
• 23:56
  for
• 23:57
  ventilation
• 23:57
  for
• 23:57
  people,
• 23:58
  it's
• 23:58
  just
• 23:58
  mind
• 23:58
  boggling
• 23:59
  the
• 23:59
  options
• 24:00
  that
• 24:00
  you
• 24:00
  guys
• 24:00
  have.
• 24:01
  Yeah,
• 24:01
  I
• 24:01
  could
• 24:01
  talk
• 24:01
  about
• 24:02
  doors
• 24:02
  all
• 24:02
  day.
• 24:03
  We're
• 24:03
  really
• 24:04
  just
• 24:04
  at
• 24:04
  the
• 24:04
  tip
• 24:04
  of
• 24:04
  the
• 24:04
  iceberg.
• 24:05
  We're
• 24:05
  talking
• 24:05
  about
• 24:06
  ventilating
• 24:06
  all
• 24:07
  these
• 24:07
  new
• 24:07
  technologies
• 24:07
  that
• 24:08
  are
• 24:08
  in
• 24:08
  our
• 24:08
  home.
• 24:09
  I
• 24:09
  think
• 24:09
  that
• 24:10
  the
• 24:10
  big
• 24:11
  shift
• 24:12
  in
• 24:12
  the
• 24:12
  industry
• 24:13
  for
• 24:13
  us
• 24:13
  going
• 24:13
  forward
• 24:14
  is
• 24:15
  as
• 24:15
  buildings
• 24:16
  continue
• 24:16
  to
• 24:16
  get
• 24:16
  more
• 24:17
  and
• 24:17
  more
• 24:17
  airtight
• 24:18
  due
• 24:18
  to
• 24:18
  building
• 24:19
  code
• 24:19
  changes,
• 24:20
  there's
• 24:20
  all
• 24:20
  these
• 24:21
  government
• 24:21
  mandates
• 24:22
  to
• 24:22
  get
• 24:22
  tighter
• 24:23
  and
• 24:23
  tighter
• 24:23
  and
• 24:23
  eventually
• 24:24
  achieve
• 24:24
  net
• 24:25
  zero,
• 24:25
  for
• 24:25
  example,
• 24:26
  or
• 24:27
  just
• 24:27
  higher
• 24:27
  performing
• 24:28
  home.
• 24:29
  And
• 24:29
  so
• 24:29
  increasingly
• 24:30
  that's
• 24:30
  more
• 24:31
  and
• 24:31
  more
• 24:31
  airtightness.
• 24:32
  And
• 24:32
  as
• 24:32
  we
• 24:32
  get
• 24:33
  more
• 24:33
  and
• 24:33
  more
• 24:33
  tight
• 24:34
  homes,
• 24:35
  it's
• 24:35
  only
• 24:35
  more
• 24:35
  apparent
• 24:36
  that
• 24:36
  we
• 24:36
  need
• 24:36
  to
• 24:37
  provide
• 24:37
  ventilation
• 24:38
  or
• 24:38
  adequate
• 24:38
  ventilation
• 24:39
  within
• 24:39
  these
• 24:40
  spaces.
• 24:41
  And
• 24:41
  the
• 24:41
  current
• 24:41
  methods
• 24:42
  that
• 24:42
  we
• 24:42
  do
• 24:42
  it
• 24:42
  right
• 24:42
  now
• 24:43
  involve
• 24:44
  using
• 24:44
  HRV
• 24:45
  systems
• 24:45
  or
• 24:46
  ERV
• 24:47
  systems
• 24:48
  and
• 24:48
  designing
• 24:49
  ventilation
• 24:50
  pathways
• 24:50
  into
• 24:50
  the
• 24:51
  bedrooms.
• 24:51
  Exhausting
• 24:52
  from
• 24:52
  the
• 24:52
  bathroom,
• 24:53
  bathrooms
• 24:53
  and
• 24:53
  living
• 24:53
  rooms.
• 24:54
  And
• 24:54
  so
• 24:54
  we're
• 24:55
  going
• 24:55
  to
• 24:55
  get
• 24:55
  into
• 24:56
  not
• 24:57
  only
• 24:57
  the
• 24:58
  cost
• 24:58
  of
• 24:58
  materials,
• 24:59
  but
• 24:59
  also
• 24:59
  the
• 24:59
  design
• 25:00
  of
• 25:01
  all
• 25:01
  those
• 25:01
  homes
• 25:02
  and
• 25:02
  all
• 25:02
  those
• 25:02
  ventilation
• 25:02
  systems.
• 25:03
  And
• 25:04
  we
• 25:04
  really
• 25:04
  think
• 25:05
  that
• 25:05
  we
• 25:05
  can
• 25:05
  play
• 25:05
  a
• 25:06
  part
• 25:06
  in
• 25:06
  that
• 25:06
  and
• 25:07
  simplify
• 25:07
  that,
• 25:07
  right.
• 25:08
  To
• 25:08
  have
• 25:08
  a
• 25:09
  solution
• 25:09
  that
• 25:10
  allows
• 25:11
  those
• 25:11
  systems
• 25:12
  to
• 25:12
  work
• 25:12
  as
• 25:13
  intended
• 25:14
  and
• 25:14
  have
• 25:14
  an
• 25:15
  aesthetically
• 25:16
  pleasing
• 25:16
  solution
• 25:16
  for
• 25:17
  the
• 25:17
  homeowner
• 25:18
  and
• 25:18
  to
• 25:18
  have
• 25:18
  that
• 25:19
  sound
• 25:19
  privacy
• 25:19
  as
• 25:19
  well.
• 25:20
  Because
• 25:20
  as
• 25:21
  we
• 25:21
  get
• 25:21
  more
• 25:21
  and
• 25:21
  more
• 25:21
  airtight,
• 25:22
  more
• 25:22
  and
• 25:22
  more
• 25:23
  insulated,
• 25:23
  the
• 25:24
  background
• 25:24
  noise
• 25:24
  is
• 25:24
  also
• 25:25
  very
• 25:25
  low
• 25:25
  in
• 25:26
  homes
• 25:26
  like
• 25:26
  that.
• 25:27
  And
• 25:27
  so
• 25:27
  a
• 25:28
  lot
• 25:28
  of
• 25:28
  our
• 25:28
  customers
• 25:29
  who
• 25:29
  have
• 25:30
  done
• 25:30
  these
• 25:30
  higher
• 25:31
  performing
• 25:31
  homes
• 25:32
  with
• 25:32
  regular
• 25:33
  doors
• 25:33
  and
• 25:33
  3/4
• 25:34
  inch
• 25:34
  undercuts.
• 25:35
  They
• 25:35
  find
• 25:36
  themselves
• 25:36
  at
• 25:36
  a
• 25:36
  loss
• 25:37
  when
• 25:37
  they
• 25:37
  finally
• 25:37
  move
• 25:38
  in
• 25:38
  and
• 25:38
  they're
• 25:38
  excited
• 25:38
  about
• 25:39
  their
• 25:39
  home,
• 25:39
  but
• 25:40
  then
• 25:40
  they
• 25:40
  hear
• 25:40
  everything
• 25:40
  inside
• 25:41
  their
• 25:41
  house.
• 25:42
  Yes.
• 25:42
  And
• 25:43
  so
• 25:43
  we
• 25:43
  think
• 25:44
  that
• 25:44
  that's
• 25:44
  the
• 25:44
  next
• 25:45
  shift
• 25:45
  for
• 25:45
  us
• 25:46
  is
• 25:46
  to
• 25:46
  be
• 25:46
  a
• 25:47
  resource
• 25:47
  to
• 25:48
  all
• 25:48
  future
• 25:49
  home
• 25:49
  building
• 25:50
  in
• 25:50
  terms
• 25:50
  of
• 25:50
  ventilation
• 25:51
  and
• 25:51
  acoustics.
• 25:52
  I
• 25:53
  completely
• 25:53
  agree.
• 25:54
  And
• 25:54
  I
• 25:54
  think
• 25:54
  one
• 25:54
  thing
• 25:55
  that
• 25:55
  we've
• 25:55
  got
• 25:55
  right
• 25:56
  now,
• 25:56
  especially
• 25:56
  in
• 25:56
  the
• 25:57
  US
• 25:57
  is
• 25:58
  that
• 25:58
  our
• 25:59
  energy
• 25:59
  code
• 26:00
  for
• 26:00
  making
• 26:00
  our
• 26:01
  homes
• 26:01
  energy
• 26:02
  efficient
• 26:03
  has
• 26:04
  outperformed
• 26:04
  the
• 26:05
  ability
• 26:05
  to
• 26:05
  keep
• 26:05
  them
• 26:06
  healthy
• 26:06
  on
• 26:06
  the
• 26:07
  inside.
• 26:08
  And
• 26:08
  we
• 26:08
  have
• 26:08
  somewhat
• 26:09
  of
• 26:10
  a
• 26:11
  system
• 26:11
  right
• 26:11
  now
• 26:12
  in
• 26:12
  our
• 26:12
  codes
• 26:12
  that
• 26:12
  are
• 26:13
  not
• 26:13
  in
• 26:13
  balance.
• 26:14
  So
• 26:15
  if
• 26:15
  you
• 26:16
  follow
• 26:16
  the
• 26:16
  building
• 26:16
  code,
• 26:17
  sometimes
• 26:17
  you're
• 26:18
  making
• 26:18
  the
• 26:18
  house
• 26:18
  a
• 26:19
  little
• 26:19
  less
• 26:19
  healthy
• 26:20
  on
• 26:20
  the
• 26:20
  inside.
• 26:21
  And
• 26:21
  I
• 26:22
  think
• 26:22
  your
• 26:22
  guys
• 26:22
  product
• 26:23
  really
• 26:23
  helps
• 26:23
  balance
• 26:24
  that
• 26:24
  out.
• 26:24
  Because
• 26:25
  now
• 26:25
  we're
• 26:25
  talking
• 26:25
  about
• 26:25
  ventilation
• 26:26
  within
• 26:26
  the
• 26:26
  home.
• 26:27
  That
• 26:27
  energy
• 26:28
  code
• 26:28
  doesn't
• 26:29
  even
• 26:29
  discuss
• 26:30
  that.
• 26:30
  It's
• 26:30
  just
• 26:31
  trying
• 26:31
  to
• 26:31
  keep
• 26:31
  everything
• 26:32
  inside,
• 26:33
  inside
• 26:34
  and
• 26:34
  everything
• 26:34
  outside,
• 26:35
  outside.
• 26:35
  And
• 26:36
  we'll
• 26:36
  fix
• 26:36
  it
• 26:36
  with
• 26:36
  a
• 26:37
  HRV
• 26:38
  or
• 26:38
  an
• 26:38
  ERV
• 26:39
  and
• 26:39
  that'll
• 26:39
  be
• 26:39
  good
• 26:39
  to
• 26:39
  go.
• 26:40
  But
• 26:40
  if
• 26:40
  the
• 26:40
  doors
• 26:40
  are
• 26:41
  all
• 26:41
  sealed
• 26:41
  up,
• 26:42
  you've
• 26:42
  got
• 26:42
  one
• 26:43
  room
• 26:43
  where
• 26:43
  the
• 26:43
  ERV
• 26:44
  system
• 26:44
  or
• 26:44
  HRV
• 26:45
  system
• 26:45
  is
• 26:46
  that's
• 26:46
  doing
• 26:46
  good.
• 26:47
  But
• 26:47
  maybe
• 26:47
  the
• 26:47
  air's
• 26:48
  not
• 26:48
  moving
• 26:48
  around
• 26:48
  like
• 26:48
  you
• 26:48
  think
• 26:49
  it
• 26:49
  is.
• 26:49
  That's
• 26:50
  right.
• 26:50
  And
• 26:50
  we've
• 26:51
  done
• 26:51
  case
• 26:51
  studies
• 26:51
  on
• 26:52
  this
• 26:52
  as
• 26:52
  well,
• 26:52
  predominantly
• 26:53
  in
• 26:54
  the
• 26:54
  multifamily
• 26:55
  arena.
• 26:56
  And
• 26:56
  it's,
• 26:57
  it's
• 26:57
  not
• 26:58
  always
• 26:58
  as
• 26:58
  how
• 26:59
  the
• 26:59
  systems
• 26:59
  were
• 26:59
  designed.
• 27:00
  And
• 27:00
  if
• 27:00
  you
• 27:00
  can
• 27:01
  help
• 27:01
  alleviate
• 27:02
  any
• 27:02
  of
• 27:02
  those
• 27:02
  pressure
• 27:03
  differentials
• 27:03
  and
• 27:04
  temperature
• 27:04
  differentials,
• 27:05
  it
• 27:05
  only
• 27:05
  helps
• 27:05
  to
• 27:05
  improve
• 27:06
  the
• 27:06
  comfort
• 27:06
  of
• 27:07
  the
• 27:07
  home.
• 27:07
  Yeah,
• 27:08
  that
• 27:08
  makes
• 27:09
  so
• 27:09
  much
• 27:09
  sense.
• 27:11
  And
• 27:11
  it
• 27:12
  really
• 27:12
  just
• 27:12
  makes
• 27:12
  for
• 27:12
  a
• 27:12
  more
• 27:13
  comfortable
• 27:13
  and
• 27:13
  healthy
• 27:14
  home.
• 27:14
  So
• 27:14
  I
• 27:14
  think
• 27:14
  this
• 27:14
  is
• 27:15
  just
• 27:15
  such
• 27:15
  a
• 27:15
  brilliant
• 27:16
  way
• 27:16
  to
• 27:16
  go.
• 27:16
  And
• 27:17
  how
• 27:17
  did
• 27:17
  you
• 27:18
  come
• 27:18
  up
• 27:18
  with
• 27:18
  this
• 27:19
  design?
• 27:19
  I
• 27:19
  gotta
• 27:19
  ask
• 27:20
  that
• 27:20
  before
• 27:20
  we
• 27:20
  go
• 27:21
  because
• 27:21
  this
• 27:22
  is
• 27:22
  one
• 27:22
  of
• 27:22
  those
• 27:22
  things
• 27:23
  that
• 27:23
  for
• 27:23
  you
• 27:23
  guys
• 27:23
  to
• 27:24
  sit
• 27:24
  there
• 27:24
  and
• 27:24
  say,
• 27:24
  hey,
• 27:24
  we're
• 27:25
  gonna
• 27:25
  reinvent
• 27:25
  the
• 27:26
  doors
• 27:26
  is
• 27:27
  pretty,
• 27:28
  pretty
• 27:28
  substantial
• 27:29
  in
• 27:29
  the
• 27:29
  world
• 27:29
  of
• 27:29
  design.
• 27:30
  Yeah,
• 27:31
  it
• 27:31
  was
• 27:31
  quite
• 27:31
  an
• 27:32
  interesting
• 27:32
  story.
• 27:33
  Myself
• 27:33
  and
• 27:33
  a
• 27:34
  classmate
• 27:34
  envisioned
• 27:35
  this
• 27:35
  product
• 27:35
  out
• 27:35
  of
• 27:36
  university.
• 27:37
  And
• 27:37
  by
• 27:37
  the
• 27:37
  time
• 27:38
  we
• 27:38
  had
• 27:38
  graduated
• 27:39
  we
• 27:39
  had
• 27:39
  a
• 27:39
  number
• 27:40
  of
• 27:40
  orders
• 27:40
  through
• 27:41
  the
• 27:41
  university
• 27:41
  and
• 27:41
  from
• 27:42
  other
• 27:42
  customers.
• 27:43
  And
• 27:43
  so
• 27:44
  we,
• 27:44
  out
• 27:45
  of
• 27:45
  graduation,
• 27:45
  we
• 27:46
  rented
• 27:46
  a
• 27:46
  wood
• 27:46
  shop.
• 27:46
  We
• 27:47
  started
• 27:47
  making
• 27:47
  these
• 27:47
  doors
• 27:48
  ourselves
• 27:49
  because
• 27:49
  again,
• 27:50
  architects
• 27:50
  and
• 27:50
  designers
• 27:51
  and
• 27:52
  people
• 27:52
  that
• 27:52
  we
• 27:52
  were
• 27:52
  talking
• 27:53
  with
• 27:53
  just
• 27:53
  didn't
• 27:53
  like
• 27:54
  door
• 27:54
  grills.
• 27:55
  And
• 27:55
  they
• 27:55
  didn't
• 27:55
  like
• 27:55
  it
• 27:56
  enough
• 27:56
  that
• 27:56
  they
• 27:57
  wanted
• 27:57
  a
• 27:57
  product.
• 27:58
  And
• 27:59
  we've
• 27:59
  iterated
• 28:00
  over
• 28:01
  the
• 28:01
  years.
• 28:01
  We
• 28:02
  linked
• 28:02
  up
• 28:02
  with
• 28:02
  partnering
• 28:03
  manufacturers
• 28:04
  that
• 28:04
  helped
• 28:04
  us
• 28:04
  got
• 28:05
  get
• 28:05
  us
• 28:05
  to
• 28:05
  market.
• 28:06
  We
• 28:06
  have
• 28:06
  our
• 28:06
  own
• 28:07
  facility
• 28:08
  as
• 28:08
  well
• 28:08
  to
• 28:09
  produce
• 28:09
  these
• 28:09
  stores.
• 28:10
  And
• 28:10
  we
• 28:10
  find
• 28:11
  ourselves
• 28:11
  now
• 28:12
  over
• 28:12
  30,000
• 28:13
  doors
• 28:13
  installed
• 28:14
  predominantly
• 28:15
  on
• 28:15
  the
• 28:15
  west
• 28:15
  coast.
• 28:16
  And
• 28:16
  we're
• 28:16
  looking
• 28:17
  to
• 28:17
  grow
• 28:17
  that
• 28:17
  across
• 28:18
  the
• 28:18
  nation.
• 28:19
  Yeah.
• 28:19
  So
• 28:19
  smart.
• 28:20
  So
• 28:20
  smart.
• 28:21
  So,
• 28:21
  Vic,
• 28:22
  one
• 28:22
  more
• 28:22
  time,
• 28:22
  what's
• 28:23
  the
• 28:23
  best
• 28:23
  way
• 28:23
  for
• 28:23
  people
• 28:24
  to
• 28:24
  find
• 28:24
  you
• 28:24
  guys
• 28:24
  on
• 28:25
  the
• 28:25
  web?
• 28:25
  So
• 28:25
  people
• 28:26
  that
• 28:26
  are
• 28:26
  listening
• 28:26
  right
• 28:26
  now
• 28:27
  that
• 28:27
  are
• 28:28
  salivating
• 28:28
  going,
• 28:29
  I
• 28:29
  just
• 28:29
  found
• 28:29
  a
• 28:29
  solution
• 28:30
  for
• 28:30
  my
• 28:30
  home.
• 28:31
  What's
• 28:31
  the
• 28:31
  best
• 28:31
  way
• 28:31
  for
• 28:32
  them
• 28:32
  to
• 28:32
  find
• 28:32
  you?
• 28:33
  It's
• 28:33
  Van
• 28:34
  AirDesign.com
• 28:35
  Man,
• 28:35
  Vic,
• 28:35
  thanks
• 28:36
  for.
• 28:36
  What
• 28:36
  you're
• 28:36
  doing,
• 28:36
  man.
• 28:36
  This
• 28:37
  is

  so
• 28:38
  awesome.
• 28:39
  And

• 29:59
  the

• 29:59
  so
• 30:00
  at
• 30:00
  my
• 30:00
  house.
• 30:00
  So
• 30:00
  it's
• 30:00
  going
• 30:01
  to
• 30:01
  be
• 30:01
  a
• 30:01
  lot
• 30:01
  of
• 30:01
  fun.
• 30:01
  Now,
• 30:02
  I
• 30:02
  wanted
• 30:03
  to
• 30:03
  talk
• 30:03
  this
• 30:04
  segment
• 30:04
  about
• 30:05
  all
• 30:05
  of
• 30:05
  you
• 30:05
  people
• 30:05
  out
• 30:06
  there
• 30:06
  that
• 30:06
  have
• 30:07
  a
• 30:07
  crawl
• 30:07
  space.
• 30:08
  Now,
• 30:08
  I
• 30:08
  know
• 30:08
  there's
• 30:09
  a
• 30:09
  lot
• 30:09
  of
• 30:09
  people
• 30:09
  out
• 30:09
  there
• 30:10
  that
• 30:10
  go,
• 30:10
  we
• 30:10
  build
• 30:10
  slab
• 30:11
  on
• 30:11
  grade.
• 30:11
  It
• 30:11
  is
• 30:11
  a
• 30:12
  concrete
• 30:12
  pad
• 30:13
  on
• 30:13
  the
• 30:13
  ground.
• 30:14
  We
• 30:14
  build
• 30:14
  up
• 30:14
  from
• 30:14
  there.
• 30:15
  And
• 30:15
  you
• 30:15
  know
• 30:15
  something?
• 30:16
  Maybe
• 30:16
  this
• 30:16
  segment
• 30:16
  isn't
• 30:17
  for
• 30:17
  you,
• 30:18
  but
• 30:18
  there's
• 30:18
  a
• 30:18
  lot
• 30:18
  of
• 30:19
  places
• 30:19
  in
• 30:19
  the
• 30:19
  country
• 30:20
  that
• 30:20
  this
• 30:20
  is
• 30:20
  one
• 30:21
  of
• 30:21
  the
• 30:21
  most
• 30:21
  popular
• 30:22
  ways
• 30:22
  to
• 30:23
  build.
• 30:23
  And
• 30:24
  for
• 30:24
  you
• 30:24
  guys
• 30:25
  out
• 30:25
  there,
• 30:25
  it
• 30:25
  is
• 30:26
  something
• 30:26
  that
• 30:26
  you
• 30:26
  need
• 30:26
  to
• 30:27
  pay
• 30:27
  a
• 30:28
  lot
• 30:28
  of
• 30:28
  attention
• 30:29
  to
• 30:29
  because
• 30:30
  there
• 30:30
  are
• 30:30
  so
• 30:30
  many
• 30:31
  things
• 30:31
  that
• 30:31
  can
• 30:31
  go
• 30:31
  wrong
• 30:32
  in
• 30:32
  a
• 30:32
  crawl
• 30:32
  space
• 30:32
  that
• 30:32
  you
• 30:33
  should
• 30:33
  be
• 30:33
  paying
• 30:33
  attention
• 30:33
  to.
• 30:34
  And
• 30:35
  I
• 30:35
  have
• 30:35
  seen
• 30:36
  some
• 30:36
  disaster
• 30:37
  crawl
• 30:37
  spaces
• 30:38
  out
• 30:38
  there.
• 30:38
  But
• 30:38
  the
• 30:38
  first
• 30:39
  thing
• 30:39
  you
• 30:39
  should
• 30:39
  be
• 30:39
  doing
• 30:40
  with
• 30:40
  a
• 30:41
  crawl
• 30:41
  space
• 30:42
  is
• 30:42
  making
• 30:42
  sure
• 30:42
  every
• 30:43
  few
• 30:43
  months
• 30:43
  you're
• 30:43
  sticking
• 30:44
  your
• 30:44
  head
• 30:44
  down
• 30:44
  there
• 30:45
  and
• 30:45
  seeing
• 30:46
  if
• 30:46
  there's
• 30:46
  water,
• 30:47
  rodents,
• 30:48
  that
• 30:48
  kind
• 30:48
  of
• 30:48
  thing.
• 30:49
  Because
• 30:49
  here's
• 30:50
  what
• 30:50
  happens
• 30:50
  if
• 30:50
  you
• 30:51
  let
• 30:51
  that
• 30:51
  go
• 30:51
  to
• 30:52
  pot
• 30:52
  down
• 30:52
  there,
• 30:53
  and
• 30:53
  if
• 30:53
  it
• 30:53
  gets
• 30:54
  moisture,
• 30:55
  mold,
• 30:55
  standing
• 30:56
  water,
• 30:57
  that
• 30:57
  moisture
• 30:57
  is
• 30:57
  going
• 30:57
  to
• 30:58
  come
• 30:58
  up
• 30:58
  into
• 30:58
  your
• 30:58
  house
• 30:59
  through
• 30:59
  the
• 30:59
  crawl
• 30:59
  space,
• 31:00
  because
• 31:01
  I
• 31:01
  think
• 31:01
  over
• 31:01
  60%
• 31:02
  of
• 31:02
  that
• 31:02
  air
• 31:02
  that's
• 31:03
  down
• 31:03
  there
• 31:03
  works
• 31:04
  its
• 31:04
  way
• 31:04
  up
• 31:04
  into
• 31:05
  your
• 31:05
  house.
• 31:06
  So
• 31:06
  it's
• 31:06
  going
• 31:06
  to
• 31:07
  naturally
• 31:07
  rise
• 31:07
  up
• 31:07
  to
• 31:08
  the
• 31:08
  floor,
• 31:08
  because
• 31:08
  there's
• 31:08
  not
• 31:09
  really
• 31:09
  a
• 31:09
  vapor
• 31:09
  barrier
• 31:10
  there
• 31:10
  between
• 31:10
  the
• 31:10
  floor,
• 31:11
  between
• 31:12
  that
• 31:12
  air
• 31:12
  and
• 31:12
  the
• 31:12
  system.
• 31:13
  And
• 31:14
  what
• 31:14
  happens
• 31:14
  is
• 31:15
  that
• 31:15
  raises
• 31:15
  up
• 31:15
  through
• 31:16
  and
• 31:16
  then
• 31:16
  it
• 31:16
  collects
• 31:16
  up
• 31:16
  in
• 31:16
  the
• 31:16
  attic
• 31:17
  space
• 31:17
  up
• 31:17
  there.
• 31:17
  And
• 31:18
  many
• 31:18
  times
• 31:18
  that
• 31:18
  grows
• 31:19
  into
• 31:19
  mold
• 31:19
  because
• 31:20
  the
• 31:20
  roofing
• 31:20
  material
• 31:21
  gap
• 31:21
  captures
• 31:22
  it
• 31:22
  up
• 31:22
  there,
• 31:22
  and
• 31:23
  you
• 31:23
  don't
• 31:23
  typically
• 31:24
  have
• 31:24
  enough
• 31:24
  ventilation
• 31:25
  to
• 31:25
  get
• 31:25
  that
• 31:25
  out.
• 31:26
  So
• 31:27
  that
• 31:27
  attic
• 31:28
  space
• 31:28
  up
• 31:28
  there
• 31:29
  can
• 31:29
  be
• 31:29
  moldy
• 31:29
  just
• 31:30
  because
• 31:30
  of
• 31:30
  what's
• 31:30
  going
• 31:30
  down
• 31:31
  in
• 31:31
  your
• 31:31
  crawl
• 31:31
  space,
• 31:32
  because
• 31:32
  it's
• 31:32
  passive
• 31:33
  all
• 31:33
  the
• 31:33
  way
• 31:33
  up
• 31:33
  through
• 31:34
  there.
• 31:34
  And
• 31:35
  so
• 31:35
  really
• 31:35
  stay
• 31:35
  on
• 31:36
  top
• 31:36
  of
• 31:36
  that.
• 31:36
  Now,
• 31:36
  here's
• 31:37
  the
• 31:37
  good
• 31:37
  news.
• 31:37
  If
• 31:37
  you're
• 31:37
  like,
• 31:38
  I
• 31:38
  am
• 31:38
  not
• 31:38
  going
• 31:39
  in
• 31:39
  that
• 31:39
  crawl
• 31:39
  space.
• 31:40
  It's
• 31:41
  dirty.
• 31:41
  There's
• 31:41
  spiders,
• 31:42
  there's
• 31:43
  rodents,
• 31:44
  I'm
• 31:44
  claustrophobic,
• 31:45
  whatever
• 31:46
  that
• 31:46
  is,
• 31:47
  have
• 31:48
  a
• 31:48
  company
• 31:48
  come
• 31:48
  in
• 31:49
  and
• 31:50
  do
• 31:50
  a
• 31:50
  crawl
• 31:50
  space
• 31:51
  inspection,
• 31:52
  take
• 31:52
  a
• 31:52
  look
• 31:52
  at
• 31:53
  it.
• 31:54
  That
• 31:54
  is
• 31:54
  the
• 31:55
  thing
• 31:55
  to
• 31:55
  making
• 31:55
  sure
• 31:55
  that
• 31:56
  that
• 31:56
  is
• 31:56
  a
• 31:56
  clean
• 31:56
  space
• 31:57
  down
• 31:57
  there.
• 31:58
  And
• 31:58
  when
• 31:58
  in
• 31:58
  doubt,
• 31:58
  if
• 31:59
  you
• 31:59
  don't
• 31:59
  have
• 31:59
  the
• 31:59
  ability
• 31:59
  to
• 31:59
  go
• 31:59
  down
• 32:00
  there,
• 32:00
  hire
• 32:00
  somebody
• 32:00
  to
• 32:01
  go
• 32:01
  down
• 32:01
  and
• 32:01
  do
• 32:01
  it.
• 32:01
  Many
• 32:02
  times
• 32:02
  these
• 32:02
  crawl
• 32:02
  space
• 32:03
  companies
• 32:03
  will
• 32:04
  go
• 32:04
  down
• 32:04
  there
• 32:05
  and
• 32:05
  they
• 32:05
  will
• 32:06
  give
• 32:06
  you
• 32:06
  a
• 32:06
  free
• 32:06
  estimate.
• 32:07
  I
• 32:07
  don't
• 32:07
  know
• 32:07
  if
• 32:07
  they're
• 32:07
  going
• 32:07
  to
• 32:07
  do
• 32:07
  an
• 32:07
  inspection
• 32:08
  for
• 32:08
  you
• 32:08
  every
• 32:08
  year,
• 32:09
  but
• 32:09
  take
• 32:09
  a
• 32:10
  look
• 32:10
  at
• 32:10
  it
• 32:10
  and
• 32:10
  see.
• 32:11
  Now,
• 32:12
  I
• 32:12
  believe
• 32:13
  that
• 32:13
  really
• 32:13
  you
• 32:13
  should
• 32:14
  do
• 32:14
  the
• 32:14
  best
• 32:14
  you
• 32:14
  can
• 32:15
  to
• 32:16
  keep
• 32:16
  that
• 32:16
  clean.
• 32:16
  Sometimes
• 32:17
  all
• 32:17
  you
• 32:17
  need
• 32:18
  down
• 32:18
  there
• 32:19
  is
• 32:19
  some
• 32:19
  really
• 32:19
  good
• 32:20
  thick
• 32:21
  vapor
• 32:21
  barrier
• 32:22
  down
• 32:22
  there,
• 32:22
  some.
• 32:23
  Some
• 32:23
  really
• 32:23
  thick
• 32:24
  plastic.
• 32:25
  And
• 32:25
  I
• 32:25
  recommend
• 32:26
  taping
• 32:26
  that
• 32:27
  in
• 32:27
  between
• 32:27
  the
• 32:27
  seams
• 32:28
  so
• 32:28
  you
• 32:28
  don't
• 32:28
  have
• 32:29
  to
• 32:29
  worry
• 32:29
  about
• 32:29
  the
• 32:29
  moisture
• 32:29
  coming
• 32:30
  up
• 32:30
  through
• 32:30
  the
• 32:30
  ground.
• 32:31
  Now,
• 32:31
  the
• 32:32
  ultimate
• 32:32
  be
• 32:32
  all
• 32:32
  that
• 32:33
  many
• 32:33
  of
• 32:33
  these
• 32:33
  crawl
• 32:34
  space
• 32:34
  companies
• 32:34
  will
• 32:34
  sell
• 32:35
  you
• 32:35
  is
• 32:35
  an
• 32:35
  encapsulation.
• 32:36
  And
• 32:36
  what
• 32:37
  that
• 32:37
  is
• 32:38
  is
• 32:38
  they
• 32:38
  go
• 32:38
  in
• 32:38
  there
• 32:39
  and
• 32:39
  seal
• 32:40
  up
• 32:41
  the
• 32:41
  crawl
• 32:41
  space.
• 32:42
  So
• 32:42
  they
• 32:42
  go
• 32:42
  in
• 32:42
  there
• 32:43
  and
• 32:43
  basically
• 32:43
  hermetically
• 32:44
  seal
• 32:45
  so
• 32:45
  there's
• 32:45
  absolutely
• 32:46
  no
• 32:46
  moisture,
• 32:47
  air,
• 32:47
  radon,
• 32:47
  whatever,
• 32:48
  coming
• 32:48
  up
• 32:48
  through
• 32:49
  that
• 32:49
  space.
• 32:50
  Now,
• 32:51
  there's
• 32:51
  companies
• 32:51
  that
• 32:52
  do
• 32:52
  this
• 32:52
  well,
• 32:52
  there's
• 32:53
  companies
• 32:53
  that
• 32:53
  don't
• 32:54
  do
• 32:54
  this
• 32:54
  well.
• 32:55
  And
• 32:55
  that's
• 32:56
  something
• 32:56
  to
• 32:56
  take
• 32:56
  a
• 32:56
  look
• 32:56
  at.
• 32:57
  I
• 32:57
  can
• 32:58
  go
• 32:58
  on
• 32:58
  many
• 32:58
  crawl
• 32:59
  space
• 32:59
  companies,
• 33:00
  websites
• 33:00
  and
• 33:01
  take
• 33:01
  a
• 33:01
  look
• 33:01
  at
• 33:01
  their
• 33:01
  Pictures
• 33:02
  and
• 33:02
  go,
• 33:03
  they're
• 33:03
  doing
• 33:03
  it
• 33:03
  wrong.
• 33:05
  And
• 33:05
  that's
• 33:05
  a
• 33:05
  big
• 33:05
  issue.
• 33:06
  So
• 33:07
  you
• 33:07
  think
• 33:07
  about
• 33:07
  it.
• 33:07
  You're
• 33:07
  gonna
• 33:07
  go
• 33:08
  down
• 33:08
  in
• 33:08
  the
• 33:08
  crawl
• 33:08
  space.
• 33:08
  They're
• 33:09
  gonna
• 33:09
  go
• 33:09
  down
• 33:09
  there
• 33:10
  and
• 33:11
  wrap
• 33:11
  it
• 33:11
  in
• 33:12
  a,
• 33:12
  you
• 33:12
  know,
• 33:12
  sealed
• 33:13
  up
• 33:13
  plastic.
• 33:14
  But
• 33:14
  you
• 33:14
  need
• 33:15
  to
• 33:15
  make
• 33:15
  sure
• 33:15
  that
• 33:15
  there
• 33:16
  is
• 33:16
  no
• 33:16
  wood
• 33:17
  between
• 33:18
  that
• 33:18
  moisture
• 33:19
  and
• 33:19
  the
• 33:19
  plastic.
• 33:21
  So
• 33:21
  if
• 33:21
  you
• 33:21
  see
• 33:22
  them
• 33:22
  wrapping
• 33:22
  up
• 33:23
  the
• 33:23
  posts,
• 33:24
  guess
• 33:25
  what?
• 33:25
  That
• 33:26
  wood
• 33:26
  post
• 33:26
  that
• 33:26
  is
• 33:27
  holding
• 33:27
  up
• 33:27
  your
• 33:27
  ground,
• 33:28
  holding
• 33:29
  up
• 33:29
  your,
• 33:29
  you
• 33:29
  know,
• 33:30
  holding
• 33:30
  up
• 33:30
  the
• 33:30
  building
• 33:30
  off
• 33:31
  the
• 33:31
  ground,
• 33:31
  sorry.
• 33:32
  Is
• 33:33
  now
• 33:34
  encapsulated
• 33:35
  with
• 33:35
  the
• 33:35
  moisture.
• 33:37
  So
• 33:37
  I
• 33:37
  want
• 33:38
  to
• 33:38
  make
• 33:38
  sure
• 33:38
  that
• 33:39
  the
• 33:39
  plastic
• 33:39
  goes
• 33:40
  under
• 33:40
  the
• 33:41
  posts
• 33:41
  down
• 33:41
  there
• 33:42
  or
• 33:42
  around
• 33:43
  the
• 33:43
  concrete
• 33:43
  so
• 33:44
  it's
• 33:44
  not
• 33:45
  coming
• 33:45
  up
• 33:45
  through
• 33:45
  there.
• 33:46
  If
• 33:46
  you
• 33:46
  wrap
• 33:47
  any
• 33:47
  of
• 33:47
  the
• 33:48
  posts
• 33:50
  around
• 33:50
  it
• 33:50
  with
• 33:50
  the
• 33:51
  plastic
• 33:51
  and
• 33:51
  that
• 33:52
  is
• 33:52
  incorrectly
• 33:52
  done
• 33:53
  and
• 33:53
  that
• 33:53
  can
• 33:53
  get
• 33:54
  really
• 33:54
  expensive
• 33:54
  because
• 33:54
  that
• 33:54
  can
• 33:55
  promote
• 33:55
  rot
• 33:56
  within
• 33:56
  that.
• 33:57
  So
• 33:57
  the,
• 33:58
  any
• 33:58
  of
• 33:58
  the
• 33:58
  wood
• 33:58
  pieces
• 33:59
  need
• 33:59
  to
• 33:59
  be
• 33:59
  on
• 34:00
  the
• 34:00
  living
• 34:00
  side
• 34:01
  of
• 34:01
  that,
• 34:01
  not
• 34:02
  on
• 34:02
  the
• 34:02
  crawl
• 34:02
  space,
• 34:03
  dirt
• 34:04
  side
• 34:04
  of
• 34:04
  it.
• 34:05
  Now
• 34:05
  the
• 34:05
  other
• 34:06
  thing
• 34:06
  is,
• 34:06
  is
• 34:06
  when
• 34:06
  you're
• 34:06
  doing
• 34:07
  a
• 34:07
  crawl
• 34:07
  space
• 34:07
  like
• 34:07
  that,
• 34:08
  if
• 34:08
  you're
• 34:08
  going
• 34:08
  to
• 34:09
  encapsulate
• 34:10
  it,
• 34:10
  there's
• 34:10
  two
• 34:11
  things
• 34:11
  that
• 34:11
  either
• 34:11
  have
• 34:11
  to
• 34:12
  happen.
• 34:12
  One,
• 34:13
  you
• 34:13
  have
• 34:13
  to
• 34:14
  condition
• 34:14
  that
• 34:14
  and
• 34:14
  run
• 34:15
  air
• 34:15
  ducts
• 34:15
  down
• 34:16
  into
• 34:16
  there
• 34:16
  and
• 34:16
  treat
• 34:16
  it
• 34:16
  like
• 34:17
  the
• 34:17
  rest
• 34:17
  of
• 34:17
  the
• 34:17
  house.
• 34:18
  Or
• 34:18
  you
• 34:18
  should
• 34:19
  be
• 34:19
  installing
• 34:19
  in
• 34:20
  a
• 34:20
  dehumidifier
• 34:21
  so
• 34:22
  that
• 34:22
  you
• 34:22
  don't
• 34:22
  have
• 34:22
  trapped
• 34:23
  air
• 34:23
  down
• 34:23
  there.
• 34:23
  That's
• 34:24
  going
• 34:24
  to
• 34:24
  call
• 34:24
  mold
• 34:24
  cause,
• 34:25
  mold
• 34:26
  condensation,
• 34:26
  anything
• 34:27
  else.
• 34:28
  So
• 34:28
  really
• 34:28
  take
• 34:29
  a
• 34:29
  look
• 34:29
  at
• 34:29
  that
• 34:29
  and
• 34:29
  make
• 34:30
  sure.
• 34:30
  And
• 34:30
  I'm
• 34:30
  not
• 34:31
  talking
• 34:31
  about
• 34:31
  one
• 34:31
  of
• 34:31
  those
• 34:31
  portable
• 34:32
  ones.
• 34:32
  It
• 34:32
  should
• 34:33
  be
• 34:33
  a
• 34:33
  built
• 34:34
  in
• 34:35
  dehumidifier.
• 34:36
  So
• 34:37
  built
• 34:37
  in,
• 34:37
  wired
• 34:38
  in
• 34:38
  hard,
• 34:39
  make
• 34:39
  sure
• 34:39
  you've
• 34:39
  got
• 34:40
  a
• 34:40
  drain
• 34:40
  line
• 34:40
  that
• 34:40
  goes
• 34:41
  out
• 34:41
  and
• 34:42
  drains
• 34:42
  off
• 34:42
  into
• 34:43
  something
• 34:43
  to
• 34:43
  get
• 34:44
  the
• 34:44
  water
• 34:44
  well
• 34:44
  away
• 34:44
  from
• 34:44
  the
• 34:45
  house,
• 34:45
  not
• 34:45
  just
• 34:45
  outside
• 34:45
  the
• 34:46
  house,
• 34:46
  because
• 34:46
  it's
• 34:46
  going
• 34:46
  to
• 34:47
  try
• 34:47
  to
• 34:47
  put
• 34:47
  it
• 34:47
  back
• 34:48
  underneath
• 34:48
  the
• 34:48
  house.
• 34:48
  So
• 34:48
  it
• 34:48
  should
• 34:49
  go
• 34:49
  into
• 34:49
  some
• 34:49
  kind
• 34:49
  of
• 34:49
  a
• 34:50
  drain
• 34:50
  system
• 34:51
  or
• 34:51
  into
• 34:51
  the
• 34:51
  gutters.
• 34:52
  It
• 34:52
  gets
• 34:52
  it
• 34:52
  at
• 34:52
  least
• 34:52
  10ft
• 34:53
  away
• 34:53
  from
• 34:53
  the
• 34:53
  house,
• 34:54
  all
• 34:54
  of
• 34:54
  that.
• 34:55
  So
• 34:55
  making
• 34:56
  sure
• 34:56
  that
• 34:56
  that
• 34:56
  goes
• 34:57
  out
• 34:57
  of
• 34:57
  there.
• 34:57
  If
• 34:57
  you
• 34:57
  encapsulate
• 34:58
  a
• 34:58
  crawl
• 34:58
  space
• 34:58
  and
• 34:59
  don't
• 34:59
  condition
• 34:59
  the
• 34:59
  air
• 35:00
  or
• 35:01
  don't
• 35:01
  put
• 35:01
  a
• 35:01
  dehumidifier,
• 35:02
  you're
• 35:02
  just
• 35:03
  going
• 35:03
  to
• 35:03
  end
• 35:03
  up
• 35:03
  having
• 35:03
  a
• 35:03
  mold
• 35:04
  sandwich
• 35:05
  down
• 35:05
  there.
• 35:05
  And
• 35:05
  that's
• 35:05
  going
• 35:06
  to
• 35:06
  be
• 35:06
  a
• 35:06
  big
• 35:06
  issue.
• 35:07
  Now
• 35:08
  is
• 35:08
  that
• 35:08
  a
• 35:08
  be
• 35:08
  all,
• 35:09
  end
• 35:09
  all?
• 35:09
  No.
• 35:09
  But
• 35:10
  does
• 35:10
  it
• 35:10
  stop
• 35:10
  radon?
• 35:11
  Yeah,
• 35:11
  you
• 35:11
  can
• 35:11
  design
• 35:11
  it
• 35:12
  so
• 35:12
  it
• 35:12
  can.
• 35:12
  That
• 35:13
  could
• 35:13
  be
• 35:13
  healthy
• 35:14
  also.
• 35:15
  You're
• 35:15
  just
• 35:15
  trying
• 35:15
  to
• 35:15
  keep
• 35:16
  that
• 35:16
  dirt,
• 35:17
  all
• 35:17
  that
• 35:17
  nasty
• 35:18
  stuff
• 35:18
  in
• 35:18
  the
• 35:18
  air
• 35:18
  coming
• 35:18
  up
• 35:19
  there.
• 35:19
  I
• 35:19
  was
• 35:19
  Just
• 35:19
  in
• 35:19
  a
• 35:19
  crawl
• 35:19
  space
• 35:20
  today
• 35:21
  with
• 35:21
  my
• 35:21
  friends
• 35:22
  here
• 35:22
  in
• 35:22
  the
• 35:22
  Portland
• 35:23
  area.
• 35:23
  And
• 35:24
  you
• 35:24
  probably
• 35:25
  know
• 35:25
  them
• 35:25
  if
• 35:25
  you
• 35:26
  listen
• 35:26
  in
• 35:27
  Pacific
• 35:27
  Northwest,
• 35:27
  John's
• 35:28
  Waterproofing.
• 35:28
  They're
• 35:29
  a
• 35:29
  great
• 35:29
  sponsor
• 35:29
  of
• 35:29
  my
• 35:30
  television
• 35:30
  show.
• 35:31
  I
• 35:31
  was
• 35:31
  out
• 35:31
  with
• 35:32
  Today
• 35:32
  with
• 35:32
  Robin
• 35:33
  on
• 35:33
  us
• 35:33
  on
• 35:34
  an
• 35:34
  upcoming
• 35:34
  segment
• 35:35
  that
• 35:35
  we're
• 35:35
  doing.
• 35:36
  And
• 35:36
  we
• 35:36
  were
• 35:36
  crawling
• 35:37
  through
• 35:37
  a
• 35:37
  crawl
• 35:37
  space
• 35:38
  out
• 35:38
  there.
• 35:38
  And
• 35:39
  man,
• 35:39
  the
• 35:39
  stuff
• 35:39
  that
• 35:39
  they
• 35:40
  found
• 35:40
  in
• 35:40
  this
• 35:40
  crawl
• 35:40
  space,
• 35:41
  they
• 35:41
  had
• 35:41
  rodents
• 35:41
  that
• 35:42
  were
• 35:42
  eaten
• 35:42
  through
• 35:42
  stuff.
• 35:43
  They
• 35:44
  cleared
• 35:44
  out
• 35:44
  all
• 35:44
  the
• 35:44
  plastic
• 35:45
  and
• 35:45
  they
• 35:45
  were
• 35:45
  digging
• 35:46
  a
• 35:46
  perimeter
• 35:47
  trench
• 35:47
  around
• 35:47
  there
• 35:48
  in
• 35:49
  putting
• 35:49
  in
• 35:49
  one
• 35:49
  of
• 35:49
  their
• 35:49
  sump
• 35:49
  pumps.
• 35:50
  And
• 35:50
  that
• 35:50
  was
• 35:50
  really
• 35:51
  cool
• 35:51
  because
• 35:51
  they
• 35:51
  use
• 35:51
  a
• 35:52
  triple
• 35:52
  sump
• 35:52
  pump
• 35:52
  system
• 35:53
  down
• 35:53
  there
• 35:53
  where
• 35:54
  they
• 35:54
  have
• 35:54
  two
• 35:54
  sump
• 35:54
  pumps
• 35:55
  in
• 35:55
  there
• 35:55
  at
• 35:56
  one.
• 35:56
  At
• 35:56
  two
• 35:56
  different
• 35:56
  heights.
• 35:57
  So
• 35:57
  if
• 35:58
  one
• 35:59
  gets
• 35:59
  overwhelmed,
• 36:00
  the
• 36:00
  second
• 36:00
  one
• 36:00
  kicks
• 36:01
  in
• 36:01
  and
• 36:01
  then
• 36:02
  they
• 36:02
  have
• 36:02
  a
• 36:02
  battery
• 36:02
  backup
• 36:03
  one.
• 36:03
  And
• 36:04
  it's
• 36:04
  a
• 36:04
  really
• 36:04
  good
• 36:05
  system.
• 36:05
  And
• 36:06
  the
• 36:06
  one
• 36:06
  thing
• 36:06
  I
• 36:06
  like
• 36:06
  about
• 36:07
  their
• 36:07
  system
• 36:07
  as
• 36:07
  well
• 36:08
  is
• 36:08
  they
• 36:09
  actually
• 36:09
  put
• 36:09
  in
• 36:10
  a
• 36:10
  sensor
• 36:11
  down
• 36:11
  there.
• 36:11
  Because
• 36:11
  the
• 36:11
  one
• 36:11
  problem
• 36:12
  is
• 36:12
  if
• 36:12
  you
• 36:12
  have
• 36:12
  a
• 36:13
  crawl
• 36:13
  space
• 36:14
  that
• 36:15
  is
• 36:15
  encapsulated,
• 36:16
  fully
• 36:17
  sealed
• 36:17
  up,
• 36:18
  if
• 36:18
  you
• 36:18
  break
• 36:18
  a
• 36:18
  water
• 36:19
  pipe
• 36:19
  down
• 36:19
  there,
• 36:20
  guess
• 36:20
  what,
• 36:21
  you're
• 36:21
  gonna
• 36:21
  have
• 36:22
  a
• 36:22
  swimming
• 36:22
  pool.
• 36:22
  Because
• 36:22
  you
• 36:23
  just
• 36:23
  basically
• 36:23
  put
• 36:23
  in
• 36:24
  a
• 36:24
  swimming
• 36:24
  pool
• 36:24
  liner
• 36:24
  down
• 36:25
  there.
• 36:25
  And
• 36:25
  that
• 36:25
  can
• 36:25
  be
• 36:26
  its
• 36:26
  own
• 36:26
  issue.
• 36:27
  So
• 36:27
  they
• 36:28
  have
• 36:28
  a
• 36:28
  sensor
• 36:28
  that.
• 36:29
  That
• 36:29
  monitors
• 36:30
  if
• 36:30
  the
• 36:30
  sump
• 36:30
  pump
• 36:30
  isn't.
• 36:31
  Working
• 36:31
  as
• 36:32
  well
• 36:32
  as
• 36:32
  if
• 36:32
  there
• 36:33
  was.
• 36:33
  A
• 36:33
  break
• 36:33
  or
• 36:33
  something
• 36:34
  that
• 36:34
  the
• 36:34
  water
• 36:35
  comes
• 36:35
  in
• 36:35
  off
• 36:35
  the
• 36:36
  plastic,
• 36:37
  then
• 36:37
  it's
• 36:37
  going
• 36:37
  to
• 36:37
  sound
• 36:38
  an
• 36:38
  alarm
• 36:38
  inside
• 36:38
  the
• 36:39
  house
• 36:39
  as
• 36:39
  well.
• 36:39
  So
• 36:39
  it's
• 36:39
  a
• 36:40
  really
• 36:40
  smart
• 36:40
  way
• 36:40
  to
• 36:41
  go.
• 36:41
  So
• 36:42
  in
• 36:43
  doing
• 36:43
  something
• 36:43
  like
• 36:44
  that
• 36:44
  with
• 36:44
  the
• 36:44
  battery
• 36:45
  backup,
• 36:45
  the
• 36:45
  two
• 36:46
  sump
• 36:46
  pumps.
• 36:46
  So
• 36:46
  you
• 36:47
  have
• 36:47
  three
• 36:47
  sump
• 36:47
  pumps
• 36:48
  actually
• 36:48
  down
• 36:48
  there,
• 36:49
  one
• 36:49
  being
• 36:49
  a
• 36:49
  battery
• 36:50
  backup
• 36:50
  in
• 36:50
  case
• 36:50
  of
• 36:50
  a
• 36:51
  power
• 36:51
  outage.
• 36:52
  And
• 36:52
  then
• 36:52
  that
• 36:52
  sensor
• 36:53
  really
• 36:53
  making
• 36:54
  sure
• 36:54
  that
• 36:54
  if
• 36:54
  you
• 36:54
  had
• 36:54
  a
• 36:55
  pipe
• 36:55
  break
• 36:55
  or
• 36:55
  some
• 36:55
  kind
• 36:56
  of
• 36:56
  water
• 36:56
  damage
• 36:56
  down
• 36:56
  there
• 36:57
  that
• 36:57
  happened,
• 36:58
  you
• 36:58
  know,
• 36:58
  any
• 36:58
  kind
• 36:58
  of
• 36:58
  a
• 36:59
  leak,
• 36:59
  it's
• 36:59
  going
• 37:00
  to
• 37:00
  catch
• 37:00
  that
• 37:00
  if
• 37:00
  it
• 37:01
  makes
• 37:01
  it
• 37:01
  over
• 37:01
  to
• 37:01
  the
• 37:01
  sump
• 37:01
  pump,
• 37:02
  which
• 37:02
  can
• 37:02
  be
• 37:02
  a
• 37:03
  really
• 37:03
  good
• 37:03
  warning.
• 37:03
  If
• 37:03
  you
• 37:04
  break
• 37:04
  a
• 37:04
  break
• 37:04
  a
• 37:04
  pipe
• 37:05
  or
• 37:05
  something
• 37:06
  frozen
• 37:06
  broke
• 37:07
  or
• 37:07
  something
• 37:07
  went
• 37:07
  wrong
• 37:08
  down
• 37:08
  there,
• 37:08
  that's
• 37:09
  going
• 37:09
  to
• 37:09
  tell
• 37:09
  you
• 37:09
  you
• 37:09
  got
• 37:09
  a
• 37:09
  bigger
• 37:10
  problem,
• 37:10
  which
• 37:10
  is
• 37:10
  kind
• 37:10
  of
• 37:11
  handy
• 37:11
  because
• 37:11
  accidents
• 37:12
  do
• 37:12
  happen
• 37:13
  with
• 37:14
  that.
• 37:14
  So
• 37:15
  really
• 37:15
  my.
• 37:16
  You
• 37:16
  know,
• 37:16
  I've
• 37:16
  been
• 37:16
  to
• 37:16
  some
• 37:16
  crawl
• 37:17
  spaces
• 37:17
  where
• 37:17
  I
• 37:18
  went
• 37:18
  out
• 37:18
  to
• 37:18
  somebody's
• 37:18
  house
• 37:19
  to
• 37:19
  take
• 37:19
  a
• 37:19
  peek
• 37:19
  at
• 37:19
  it.
• 37:21
  I
• 37:21
  had
• 37:21
  one
• 37:21
  lady
• 37:21
  that
• 37:21
  was
• 37:22
  super
• 37:22
  awesome.
• 37:23
  Felt
• 37:23
  bad
• 37:23
  for
• 37:23
  her.
• 37:24
  Her
• 37:24
  husband
• 37:24
  had
• 37:25
  passed
• 37:25
  away
• 37:25
  a
• 37:25
  few
• 37:25
  years
• 37:26
  before.
• 37:26
  Somebody
• 37:27
  hadn't
• 37:27
  taken
• 37:27
  care
• 37:27
  of
• 37:28
  the
• 37:28
  issues
• 37:28
  down
• 37:28
  there,
• 37:29
  and
• 37:29
  her
• 37:30
  ducks
• 37:31
  were
• 37:31
  gurgling.
• 37:32
  It's
• 37:32
  like
• 37:33
  gurgling
• 37:33
  what
• 37:33
  are
• 37:33
  you
• 37:33
  talking
• 37:33
  about?
• 37:34
  Thought
• 37:35
  she
• 37:35
  had
• 37:35
  water
• 37:35
  in
• 37:35
  her
• 37:35
  ducts.
• 37:35
  Yeah,
• 37:36
  she
• 37:36
  had
• 37:36
  water
• 37:36
  in
• 37:36
  the
• 37:37
  ducts
• 37:37
  because
• 37:37
  she
• 37:37
  had
• 37:38
  a
• 37:39
  completely
• 37:39
  filled
• 37:39
  up
• 37:40
  crawl
• 37:40
  space.
• 37:40
  And
• 37:40
  it
• 37:41
  wasn't
• 37:41
  that
• 37:41
  it
• 37:41
  was
• 37:42
  sealed
• 37:43
  up
• 37:43
  down
• 37:43
  there,
• 37:44
  but
• 37:44
  they
• 37:44
  had
• 37:44
  a
• 37:45
  stream.
• 37:46
  Basically
• 37:47
  somebody
• 37:47
  had
• 37:47
  done
• 37:48
  some
• 37:48
  work
• 37:48
  in
• 37:48
  the
• 37:48
  neighborhood.
• 37:49
  And
• 37:49
  there
• 37:49
  was
• 37:49
  a.
• 37:50
  Basically
• 37:51
  had
• 37:51
  clogged
• 37:52
  up
• 37:53
  a
• 37:53
  artesian
• 37:54
  well
• 37:54
  in
• 37:54
  the
• 37:54
  neighborhood
• 37:55
  that
• 37:55
  was
• 37:55
  going
• 37:56
  into
• 37:56
  somebody
• 37:56
  else's
• 37:56
  space.
• 37:57
  And
• 37:57
  it
• 37:57
  pushed
• 37:57
  up
• 37:58
  under
• 37:58
  her
• 37:58
  house.
• 37:59
  So
• 37:59
  when
• 37:59
  I
• 38:00
  popped
• 38:00
  the
• 38:00
  crawl
• 38:00
  space
• 38:01
  lid
• 38:02
  to
• 38:02
  go
• 38:02
  in
• 38:02
  there,
• 38:03
  it
• 38:03
  was
• 38:03
  up
• 38:03
  to
• 38:04
  the
• 38:04
  bottom
• 38:04
  of
• 38:04
  the
• 38:04
  framing
• 38:04
  in
• 38:05
  the
• 38:05
  house.
• 38:05
  So
• 38:05
  everything
• 38:06
  was
• 38:06
  underwater
• 38:07
  in
• 38:07
  the
• 38:07
  crawl
• 38:08
  space.
• 38:09
  And
• 38:09
  the
• 38:09
  vents
• 38:10
  were
• 38:10
  plugged
• 38:10
  shut.
• 38:11
  So
• 38:11
  it
• 38:11
  wasn't.
• 38:11
  It
• 38:11
  was
• 38:12
  keeping
• 38:12
  those
• 38:12
  in
• 38:12
  pretty
• 38:13
  well.
• 38:13
  The
• 38:13
  way
• 38:13
  they
• 38:13
  were
• 38:14
  closed.
• 38:14
  And
• 38:15
  it
• 38:15
  just
• 38:16
  was
• 38:16
  basically
• 38:17
  up
• 38:17
  against
• 38:18
  the
• 38:18
  bottom
• 38:18
  of
• 38:18
  the
• 38:18
  framing
• 38:19
  at
• 38:20
  the
• 38:20
  same
• 38:20
  point.
• 38:20
  I've
• 38:20
  seen
• 38:21
  homes
• 38:21
  that
• 38:21
  had.
• 38:22
  This
• 38:22
  was
• 38:22
  a
• 38:22
  horrible
• 38:23
  one.
• 38:23
  A
• 38:24
  old
• 38:24
  cast.
• 38:25
  Actually,
• 38:25
  it
• 38:25
  was
• 38:25
  a
• 38:26
  galvanized
• 38:26
  drain
• 38:27
  line
• 38:27
  from
• 38:27
  a
• 38:27
  washing
• 38:28
  machine.
• 38:28
  And
• 38:29
  the
• 38:29
  kids.
• 38:30
  The
• 38:30
  father
• 38:30
  was
• 38:31
  a
• 38:31
  truck
• 38:31
  driver.
• 38:32
  And
• 38:32
  the.
• 38:33
  Obviously
• 38:34
  they
• 38:34
  had
• 38:34
  used
• 38:35
  too
• 38:35
  much
• 38:35
  drain
• 38:35
  cleaner
• 38:35
  on
• 38:36
  this
• 38:36
  thing.
• 38:36
  And
• 38:36
  it
• 38:36
  ate
• 38:36
  through
• 38:36
  the
• 38:37
  bottom.
• 38:37
  Well,
• 38:38
  it
• 38:38
  was
• 38:38
  the
• 38:38
  laundry
• 38:39
  line.
• 38:39
  So
• 38:39
  they
• 38:39
  were
• 38:39
  running
• 38:40
  hot
• 38:40
  stuff
• 38:40
  through
• 38:40
  there
• 38:41
  all
• 38:41
  the
• 38:41
  time.
• 38:41
  So
• 38:41
  the
• 38:41
  water
• 38:42
  that
• 38:42
  was
• 38:42
  draining
• 38:43
  from
• 38:43
  the
• 38:43
  laundry
• 38:43
  from
• 38:44
  the
• 38:44
  top
• 38:44
  load
• 38:44
  washing
• 38:44
  machine,
• 38:45
  Every
• 38:45
  time
• 38:45
  they'd
• 38:45
  run
• 38:45
  a
• 38:45
  load,
• 38:46
  the
• 38:46
  55
• 38:46
  gallons
• 38:47
  of
• 38:47
  water
• 38:47
  would
• 38:47
  go
• 38:47
  down
• 38:47
  in
• 38:48
  there.
• 38:48
  It
• 38:48
  undermined
• 38:49
  the
• 38:49
  foundation
• 38:50
  so
• 38:50
  badly
• 38:51
  that
• 38:51
  they
• 38:51
  couldn't
• 38:52
  open
• 38:52
  the
• 38:52
  refrigerator
• 38:53
  door
• 38:53
  because
• 38:54
  that
• 38:54
  part
• 38:54
  of
• 38:54
  the
• 38:55
  house
• 38:55
  had
• 38:55
  sunk
• 38:55
  because
• 38:55
  it
• 38:56
  undermined
• 38:56
  the
• 38:56
  foundation.
• 38:57
  Unfortunately,
• 38:58
  that
• 38:58
  water
• 38:58
  line
• 38:59
  and
• 38:59
  nobody
• 38:59
  paying
• 39:00
  attention
• 39:00
  that
• 39:00
  there
• 39:00
  was
• 39:01
  steam
• 39:01
  on
• 39:01
  a
• 39:01
  hot.
• 39:01
  On
• 39:02
  a
• 39:02
  cold
• 39:02
  winter
• 39:02
  day
• 39:03
  coming
• 39:03
  out
• 39:03
  their
• 39:03
  crawl
• 39:04
  space
• 39:04
  fence
• 39:05
  that
• 39:05
  they
• 39:05
  didn't
• 39:05
  realize
• 39:06
  that
• 39:06
  they
• 39:06
  had
• 39:07
  that
• 39:07
  issue.
• 39:08
  That
• 39:08
  was
• 39:08
  a
• 39:08
  huge
• 39:08
  mess.
• 39:09
  That
• 39:09
  was
• 39:09
  going
• 39:09
  to
• 39:10
  be
• 39:10
  probably
• 39:10
  150,
• 39:11
  $175,000
• 39:12
  of
• 39:13
  the
• 39:13
  damage
• 39:13
  because
• 39:14
  of
• 39:14
  the
• 39:14
  reframing
• 39:15
  and
• 39:15
  remove
• 39:16
  and
• 39:16
  tear
• 39:16
  out
• 39:16
  of
• 39:16
  the
• 39:16
  kitchen.
• 39:17
  Jacking
• 39:18
  up
• 39:18
  that
• 39:18
  section
• 39:18
  of
• 39:19
  foundation,
• 39:19
  putting
• 39:19
  a
• 39:19
  new
• 39:20
  foundation
• 39:20
  in.
• 39:21
  And
• 39:21
  you
• 39:21
  see
• 39:21
  where
• 39:22
  I'm
• 39:22
  going
• 39:22
  with
• 39:22
  that.
• 39:23
  It
• 39:23
  can
• 39:23
  be
• 39:23
  a
• 39:23
  big
• 39:24
  deal.
• 39:24
  So,
• 39:25
  guys,
• 39:25
  just
• 39:25
  as
• 39:25
  a
• 39:25
  friendly
• 39:26
  reminder,
• 39:27
  inspect
• 39:27
  your
• 39:27
  crawl
• 39:27
  space
• 39:28
  and
• 39:29
  make
• 39:29
  sure
• 39:29
  that
• 39:29
  you've
• 39:29
  got
• 39:30
  it
• 39:30
  dialed
• 39:30
  in.
• 39:31
  And
• 39:31
  when
• 39:31
  a
• 39:31
  doubt,
• 39:31
  call
• 39:32
  on
• 39:32
  the
• 39:32
  pros
• 39:32
  to
• 39:32
  take
• 39:32
  a
• 39:33
  look
• 39:33
  at
• 39:33
  it.
• 39:33
  Now,
• 39:34
  this
• 39:34
  next
• 39:34
  one
• 39:34
  coming
• 39:34
  up,
• 39:34
  our
• 39:35
  next
• 39:35
  hour.
• 39:35
  We've
• 39:36
  got
• 39:36
  a
• 39:36
  great
• 39:37
  show
• 39:37
  ahead.
• 39:38
  You'll
• 39:38
  notice
• 39:38
  my
• 39:38
  voice
• 39:39
  a
• 39:39
  little
• 39:39
  bit.
• 39:39
  Yeah,
• 39:39
  I
• 39:39
  just
• 39:40
  had.
• 39:40
  I
• 39:40
  was
• 39:40
  out
• 39:40
  with
• 39:41
  the
• 39:41
  cold
• 39:41
  flu.
• 39:42
  The
• 39:42
  last
• 39:42
  couple
• 39:42
  weeks,
• 39:43
  and
• 39:43
  so
• 39:43
  my
• 39:43
  voice
• 39:43
  is
• 39:44
  a
• 39:44
  little
• 39:44
  hammered.
• 39:44
  So
• 39:44
  bear
• 39:45
  with
• 39:45
  me.
• 39:45
  But
• 39:45
  we'll
• 39:45
  get
• 39:46
  through
• 39:46
  it.
• 39:47
  And
• 39:47
  if
• 39:47
  you
• 39:47
  want
• 39:47
  to
• 39:48
  find
• 39:48
  out
• 39:48
  more
• 39:48
  about
• 39:48
  us,
• 39:48
  head
• 39:49
  over
• 39:49
  to
• 39:49
  around
• 39:49
  the
• 39:49
  house
• 39:50
  online.com
• 39:51
  and
• 39:52
  you
• 39:52
  can
• 39:52
  message
• 39:52
  me
• 39:53
  right
• 39:53
  there.
• 39:53
  All
• 39:54
  right,
• 39:54
  guys,
• 39:54
  our
• 39:55
  number
• 39:55
  one
• 39:55
  is
• 39:55
  over.
• 39:55
  Thanks
• 39:56
  for
• 39:56
  tuning
• 39:56
  into
• 39:56
  around
• 39:56
  the
• 39:57
  House.
• 39:57
  One
• 39:57
  more
• 39:57
  hour
• 39:58
  of
• 39:58
  the
• 39:58
  show
• 39:58
  left.
• 39:59
  Hold
• 39:59
  on.
• 40:00
  We've
• 40:00
  got
• 40:00
  a
• 40:00
  great
• 40:00
  one
• 40:00
  coming
• 40:01
  your
• 40:01
  way.
• 40:01
  Thanks
• 40:01
  for
• 40:01
  tuning
• 40:02
  in
• 40:02
  to
• 40:02
  around
• 40:02
  the
