- 0:23Speaker 1: in the Morning. We're going to right, good morning, Welcome
- 0:28Speaker 1: to your Wednesday. It is August twelfth. I feel like
- 0:30Speaker 1: for the second day in a row, I felt like
- 0:32Speaker 1: August twelfth is yesterday as well, But yeah, I guess
- 0:35Speaker 1: I'm wrong. So I lived all day yesterday right in
- 0:37Speaker 1: August twelfth on everything. So it's second day of August
- 0:41Speaker 1: twelfth for me. Today it's Mix one on two point
- 0:43Speaker 1: nine and Billy the Kid, Candice Lopez is here, Producer
- 0:46Speaker 1: poo is here, Wake Up, and it's back to school
- 0:49Speaker 1: for so many other districts today, which I find so
- 0:53Speaker 1: many teachers online on my Instagram and my social media
- 0:55Speaker 1: that are working so hard to get their classes together.
- 0:58Speaker 3: Yeah, because I was thinking about this on the way
- 0:59Speaker 3: to because I was like running through the checklist in
- 1:02Speaker 3: my head, like we're all doing does my kid have this?
- 1:04Speaker 2: Because this is the.
- 1:05Speaker 3: First year I won't be there to take him with
- 1:06Speaker 3: the first day, and I was.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Just thinking, what did you need?
- 1:09Speaker 3: Backpack, lunch, water bottle, no bus pass, whatever the things are,
- 1:12Speaker 3: And I just thought, did the teachers just unpack that
- 1:14Speaker 3: giant bag we all took on meet the teacher Monday
- 1:17Speaker 3: night full of supplies by themselves yesterday.
- 1:19Speaker 1: That's what they probably do. Yeah, that's what they do easy.
- 1:22Speaker 1: I know it really is because I'm looking. I'm like,
- 1:24Speaker 1: when I was a kid, nobody cared about what the
- 1:25Speaker 1: classroom looked like. Yeah, it looked like a prison.
- 1:29Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:29Speaker 1: When we were younger, it was barely a poster. There
- 1:31Speaker 1: might have been like a poster up that the school
- 1:33Speaker 1: district gives you. Yeah, and now these teachers go all out.
- 1:37Speaker 1: So thank you to our teachers. I know what. Richardson's
- 1:39Speaker 1: going back today, Arlingtonville, Alito, Lewisville, Coppel Keller. So it's
- 1:45Speaker 1: a big day. Canna Slopez, what up with you?
- 1:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm good.
- 1:49Speaker 3: I've had an emotional week, you know, getting ready for
- 1:51Speaker 3: Enzo to start third grade today. And so last night
- 1:55Speaker 3: I was packing his lunch and we were just playing
- 1:57Speaker 3: like sometimes he likes me to do accents, and I
- 1:59Speaker 3: turned into this like cool bro, like California accent, Oh
- 2:03Speaker 3: for real. He loved it, and so I just created
- 2:06Speaker 3: this entire character for him. While I was making his
- 2:08Speaker 3: lunch just to kind of get through the emotions. I
- 2:11Speaker 3: was like, I gotta stop with the emotions and take
- 2:13Speaker 3: this into a comedy way, because that's how I cope
- 2:16Speaker 3: with things is laugh.
- 2:17Speaker 2: So I came up with this whole character named Rex.
- 2:19Speaker 3: He's a surfer from California and he makes turkey and
- 2:21Speaker 3: cheese sandwiches no way, And this was our whole thing
- 2:24Speaker 3: last night, Bro, what do you want with your with
- 2:26Speaker 3: your sand though? And it just Eric came in from
- 2:31Speaker 3: owing the lawn and so it was like Rex just
- 2:33Speaker 3: made my lunch and my husband was so confused.
- 2:36Speaker 5: That's what it was, rex Rick, get out of my house,
- 2:39Speaker 5: Rex exactly.
- 2:41Speaker 3: But I'm choosing to like just lighten my mood today
- 2:44Speaker 3: instead of crying like I've had all week, and just
- 2:46Speaker 3: just laugh and embrace, you know, the fact that school's starting.
- 2:49Speaker 2: It's a new season of life.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You know what, that's the way to do it. Yeah,
- 2:53Speaker 1: we'll just kind of have some fun with it, I know.
- 2:55Speaker 1: And my son's starting his freshman year today.
- 2:56Speaker 2: I cannot believe that.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Riders a freshman in Alido. What is going on.
- 3:04Speaker 2: To high school?
- 3:04Speaker 1: I feel like he's a freshman in college the way
- 3:06Speaker 1: he acts. Yeah, I'm like, bro, come down, he's super mature.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I know he might be teaching the class today.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Yeah it probably maybe, I hope, I hope not. Actually,
- 3:15Speaker 1: I like roommates. Yeah, I know, we're like bros.
- 3:18Speaker 5: Yeah, we're like Rex and you exactly seriously, all.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Right, producer here, what's up? Haerrol? I'm so mad at myself.
- 3:26Speaker 6: About a week and a half ago, I took my bike,
- 3:30Speaker 6: the bike to Billy gave me to bike Mark to
- 3:32Speaker 6: get the tube changed or whatever. Yeah, yesterday, after I
- 3:35Speaker 6: went ride with my son Paul, I had a truck
- 3:40Speaker 6: that I've been using, my cousin Dre's truck, and I
- 3:42Speaker 6: backed it over it when I was trying to park
- 3:44Speaker 6: it in the garage.
- 3:45Speaker 1: I was sitting up there talking to myself, talking to myself.
- 3:48Speaker 6: I was like, I just got this bike fixed and
- 3:51Speaker 6: I'm trying to angle the truck or whatever.
- 3:53Speaker 1: You ran over your own bike, ran over the bike.
- 3:56Speaker 6: Yes, yeah, it's it's all crooked. I put it on
- 3:59Speaker 6: my Instagram. I was so mad.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I was like, I just paid to get this bike
- 4:02Speaker 1: fixed now.
- 4:03Speaker 6: Yeah, and then what's crazy is somebody from bike market
- 4:06Speaker 6: saw it on my I g's like, bring it back, bro.
- 4:10Speaker 1: That's good.
- 4:11Speaker 6: Yeah, you got to get a fit. It's too hot
- 4:13Speaker 6: to ride bikes. Yeah, but I don't have a scooter,
- 4:17Speaker 6: so my kids are on scooter. So I just ride
- 4:19Speaker 6: the bike around the trailer and we don't we don't
- 4:21Speaker 6: need you on a scooter.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Yeah, you want to talk about a big ig. That's
- 4:26Speaker 1: a horrible side. Do you ever see these like there's
- 4:29Speaker 1: like grown men on scooters that have like are fully
- 4:31Speaker 1: suited up with pads and like helmets and they're just
- 4:36Speaker 1: all in on it. And I'm just like, it's kind
- 4:38Speaker 1: of like seeing a cop in shorts, you know what
- 4:41Speaker 1: I mean, mall cop. There's something about seeing a cop
- 4:45Speaker 1: and shorts.
- 4:46Speaker 2: They kind of feel looks like they're a vacation cop, right.
- 4:50Speaker 1: And you know me, I love cops for sure. Yeah,
- 4:52Speaker 1: but if you try to pull me over on a
- 4:54Speaker 1: bike and you're wearing shorts, I'm running and I don't
- 4:58Speaker 1: even have a criminal record. Still take my chance. Yeah,
- 5:01Speaker 1: I'm gonna be like, bro, can you put some pants
- 5:03Speaker 1: on before you white me? A tip, can you please
- 5:05Speaker 1: put some pants? That's like a grown man on a
- 5:08Speaker 1: scooter and man, you take a cop in shorts and
- 5:12Speaker 1: put them on a scooter. Oh, I've seen it before. No, no, yeah, no,
- 5:16Speaker 1: some departments are doing that, like in certain cities instead
- 5:19Speaker 1: of like the segways. Yeah, they got cops on scooters patrolling.
- 5:23Speaker 2: That's cool.
- 5:24Speaker 1: You can't No, it's not. I can't take demse.
- 5:26Speaker 3: Do they have lights on them though, because it's not
- 5:28Speaker 3: the same as the red blues.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Don't pop you, No, they do.
- 5:31Speaker 1: They'll pull you over. The scooters they got red blue.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Yeah, shoulders.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Imagine getting pulled over by a scooter. Oh, a scooter cop.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Oh what happens. I'd be like, hey, can we go
- 5:42Speaker 1: around the corner? I don't want nobody see. Yeah, I'm
- 5:45Speaker 1: going around the corner. I'm either your scooter is not
- 5:48Speaker 1: gonna catch up with me.
- 5:51Speaker 7: It's Top Stories something tense with Billy the Kid in the.
- 5:54Speaker 8: Morning only on the New Mixed one two point nine.
- 5:58Speaker 1: No, that song kind of got me hyped, right. Let's
- 6:00Speaker 1: Candice Slowpez what is going on?
- 6:01Speaker 8: Well?
- 6:01Speaker 3: It was back to school for over one hundred districts
- 6:04Speaker 3: and the Metroplex Welcome back, Arlington, Richardson, Lewisville, forty, Frisco.
- 6:08Speaker 2: The list goes on and on. Today.
- 6:11Speaker 3: Uh, speaking of Frisco, aheads up if you were planning
- 6:13Speaker 3: to let your kids ride e bikes or e scooters
- 6:16Speaker 3: to class today, that policy and Frisco has changed. Kids
- 6:19Speaker 3: can no longer ride those to and from schools in
- 6:22Speaker 3: the district.
- 6:23Speaker 2: We were just talking about scooters.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Yeah, so this goes along with the city ordinance that
- 6:27Speaker 3: says you can't ride e bikes and e scooters on
- 6:30Speaker 3: public roadways. I guess just in the last you know,
- 6:33Speaker 3: spring semester of last school year, Frisco PD responded to
- 6:37Speaker 3: thirty five incidents involving students who were riding these. So, yeah,
- 6:42Speaker 3: they're done with the e scooter and e bikes.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I guess you can run. I'm not
- 6:46Speaker 1: saying you can run them to school, but in the cities,
- 6:49Speaker 1: if they have like whatever, if they have pedals, if
- 6:52Speaker 1: they're below seven hundred and fifty watts. Right, But like
- 6:55Speaker 1: these surons and some of these e bikes that go
- 6:58Speaker 1: fifty miles an hour and don't have titles, they consider
- 7:00Speaker 1: those motorcycles. Right.
- 7:02Speaker 3: There was I guess a ten year old who was
- 7:03Speaker 3: riding sort of like a motorbike of sorts like that
- 7:08Speaker 3: had an accident earlier this year, so hit a jogger.
- 7:11Speaker 3: I think it was pretty bad, got to be so yeah,
- 7:14Speaker 3: you definitely do the majority of those incidents happened right
- 7:18Speaker 3: at school.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Let out.
- 7:19Speaker 3: You know, destructive driving is at an all time.
- 7:21Speaker 2: High already, so just a heads up.
- 7:24Speaker 3: School zones are back in action today, so please watch
- 7:27Speaker 3: out for people walking and.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Riding bikes to school today. You guys also want to
- 7:32Speaker 2: check your refrigerator.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Nearly thirty thousand pounds of raw beef from Argentina was
- 7:37Speaker 3: just recalled, so it's been pulled off the shelves. But
- 7:40Speaker 3: apparently these products were imported without going through federal inspection
- 7:44Speaker 3: that is obviously required. It was sent to Texas and Florida,
- 7:48Speaker 3: so it has a use by date of September fifteenth
- 7:51Speaker 3: and twentieth. There's a bunch of different cuts that are
- 7:54Speaker 3: part of this beef recall. But just to heads up,
- 7:57Speaker 3: Oh great, yeah, we just can't win right now.
- 7:59Speaker 1: I know, I can't. I can't eat lettuce, I can't
- 8:01Speaker 1: eat no, I can't eat meat. Yeah awesome, okay, great.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Just to Robbie, from Argentina.
- 8:08Speaker 1: I'm just eating air anyway lately, well because I'm trying.
- 8:10Speaker 1: I'm trying to lose weight. Lifestyle, no carbs, airs, no
- 8:13Speaker 1: carbs the case you're wondering, Just to let you.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Know, fair enough, guys.
- 8:18Speaker 3: CBS Sports has finally released a statement about Tony Romo's
- 8:22Speaker 3: future as an NFL broadcaster. So they say there's no
- 8:25Speaker 3: timetable or final decision.
- 8:26Speaker 2: At this time.
- 8:27Speaker 3: They say it's an evolving situation. They're still assessing and
- 8:30Speaker 3: have to consider the you know, impact to their image. Tony,
- 8:34Speaker 3: of course, arrested three weeks ago in Wisconsin for a
- 8:36Speaker 3: trunk driving. In the meantime, JJ Watt will replace him.
- 8:41Speaker 3: But yeah, it took a while for them to make
- 8:42Speaker 3: a statement about this.
- 8:43Speaker 1: So indefinite and like, how do people feel about that?
- 8:47Speaker 1: I mean, I understand that people make mistakes. I understand
- 8:51Speaker 1: that you're going to be held to a different level.
- 8:53Speaker 1: And you know, when you're in the public eye, sorry,
- 8:56Speaker 1: things you do in public matter. Yeah, and when you
- 8:59Speaker 1: decide to get behind wheel drunk, that's a public matter.
- 9:02Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely is.
- 9:03Speaker 3: I feel like they're waiting for this to play out
- 9:05Speaker 3: after the court date and for him to actually have
- 9:08Speaker 3: an official hearing before they make a final decision. But yeah,
- 9:12Speaker 3: I mean, you just you can't live that way in
- 9:14Speaker 3: the muddle guy.
- 9:14Speaker 1: And for whatever reason, it felt like it made a
- 9:16Speaker 1: really big difference to them that there was an open
- 9:18Speaker 1: container in the car.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Yes, definitely, because that didn't come out until two or
- 9:21Speaker 3: three days later.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean as far as we know, but everybody
- 9:25Speaker 1: is presumed innocent until guilty, right, is that how it works? Yep?
- 9:29Speaker 2: Yeah, Well you're the justice Billy Justice Guy. All right,
- 9:33Speaker 2: I'll definitely keep you posted though.
- 9:35Speaker 3: I'm Candaslow Pezos are your Texas top stories.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Oh it's gonna be hot today, triple digits once again.
- 9:40Speaker 1: I'm looking at the forecast and I'm like, oh, it's
- 9:42Speaker 1: pretty much gonna be like this for the rest of
- 9:44Speaker 1: the what two to three months?
- 9:45Speaker 2: Yeah, we haven't had real rain in twenty eight days.
- 9:47Speaker 1: That is insane. We had a little bit last week,
- 9:50Speaker 1: but not really count. Yeah, it's Mix one or two
- 9:53Speaker 1: point nine A Billy to Kid Candaelow Paz producer poo,
- 9:56Speaker 1: Welcome to your Wednesday. Also Dirty Little Secret coming up
- 9:59Speaker 1: at seven thirty today. You do not want to miss this.
- 10:02Speaker 1: It's obviously back to school time, right, and things are
- 10:05Speaker 1: a little bit hectic for most moms. They're hectic.
- 10:08Speaker 5: Oh yeah, they're extra hectic for this mom. Okay, she
- 10:12Speaker 5: has a back to school secret which is crazy something
- 10:15Speaker 5: she did which over the summer with one of the teachers.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Oh lord, this.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Is absolutely gonna backfire. Just wait, dirty little secret. Seven thirty.

- 11:40Speaker 1: is fake? Which one is a fake story? Who won yesterday?
- 11:43Speaker 2: Can't this today?

- 11:54Speaker 1: here we go. Headline number one. Only fourteen percent of
- 11:57Speaker 1: men in the US are over six feet tall. New
- 12:00Speaker 1: data shows only fourteen percent of men in the US
- 12:03Speaker 1: are over six feet tall. New data shows headline at
- 12:07Speaker 1: number two. Police detective arrested after allegedly using flock cameras
- 12:13Speaker 1: to spy on husband's ex wife.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Whoa you know those.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Flock cameras that are everywhere on the streets yeah, those
- 12:19Speaker 1: cameras are crazy to me, right. Police detective arrested after
- 12:23Speaker 1: allegedly using flock cameras to spy on husband's ex wife.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Headline at number three Truck carrying thousands of rubber ducks
- 12:32Speaker 1: overturns and closes highway for hours. Truck carrying thousands of
- 12:39Speaker 1: rubber ducks overturns, closes highway four hours. Three headlines. You
- 12:44Speaker 1: gotta tell me, which one do you think is the
- 12:46Speaker 1: fake story? Out of the three candas? Do you want
- 12:49Speaker 1: to go first? You want to pass it to Lapoo Poo?
- 12:51Speaker 1: What you want to do to?
- 12:52Speaker 3: I passed it yesterday, so I'm gonna go first today.
- 12:54Speaker 3: Lockman for that first story, the six feet.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Tall men, Oh you think that's fake?
- 12:58Speaker 3: I think it's way higher than that, because, yeah, I
- 13:01Speaker 3: feel like everyone's over six feet to me.
- 13:03Speaker 1: See, I think the percentage of people that say they're
- 13:05Speaker 1: six foot tall the iron Okay, why y'all looking at me? Well,
- 13:09Speaker 1: because you might be in that percentage. Yeah, yeah, let's
- 13:15Speaker 1: lock it in and let's lock it in, all right,
- 13:17Speaker 1: Producer Poo, which one do you think is the fake story?
- 13:21Speaker 1: Lock me in for that last story? The rubber ducky truck. Okay,
- 13:24Speaker 1: all right, let's do it. Let's lock it in right now,
- 13:27Speaker 1: locked in, and the winner today is going into the
- 13:29Speaker 1: Wednesday with a w Come on, come on, it is
- 13:33Speaker 1: producer pooh yeah wow, look at him. Yeah. The rubber
- 13:41Speaker 1: duck story is fake. I don't know why I thought
- 13:43Speaker 1: of that story. I thought of it because rubber ducks
- 13:45Speaker 1: are everywhere nowadays. Yeah, with deeps with the jeep owners.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:49Speaker 3: I saw one of those claw machines and all it
- 13:50Speaker 3: had in it was rubber ducks.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Yeah. Then you go to Walmart and they're for sale.
- 13:54Speaker 1: I bought some just to give the jeeps. And I
- 13:57Speaker 1: don't even have a jeep. Wow, because I'm just like,
- 14:00Speaker 1: I feel like I should be a part of this.
- 14:01Speaker 2: I don't know jeep.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Well, what happened is I rented a Jeep on vacation,
- 14:05Speaker 1: that's all. And then my son and I bought rubber
- 14:08Speaker 1: ducks to give out. Then we forgot to give them
- 14:09Speaker 1: out because we're both add oh no, and now we
- 14:12Speaker 1: have them and we see jeeps and we're just like, oh,
- 14:14Speaker 1: but we like to do it in person and make
- 14:15Speaker 1: it awkward.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Here you go, because you're supposed to leap right, Yeah,
- 14:20Speaker 3: but we didn't know that.
- 14:21Speaker 1: We thought you were supposed to give it to them
- 14:22Speaker 1: in real life, like with them there, so you just
- 14:24Speaker 1: walk up. So we were at a stop light and
- 14:27Speaker 1: me and my son are like, hey here, and they're like, oh, thanks, weirdo. Yeah, yeah,
- 14:35Speaker 1: we're just trying to be nice. Yeah, Okay, now the
- 14:38Speaker 1: real stories, man. So this police detective allegedly, you know,
- 14:43Speaker 1: was arrested for she allegedly used these flock cameras that
- 14:46Speaker 1: are and do you know what a flock cameras can Yeah, they're.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Like on the red lights and stuff.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Right, No, they're everywhere. They're not just on red lights.
- 14:54Speaker 1: They're in parks and stuff like that.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Oh I didn't realize that. That's why people are so mad.
- 14:58Speaker 1: That people are mad because they're pretty much everywhere. And no, no,
- 15:03Speaker 1: they're just like stand they're they're they're popping up in
- 15:06Speaker 1: a lot of places that people do not like it. Okay,
- 15:08Speaker 1: and I'm not saying you should do this, but people
- 15:10Speaker 1: are destroying them. People are doing things because they just
- 15:12Speaker 1: feel like it's an invasion of our privacy. Where the
- 15:15Speaker 1: flock camera's going, where is the state of going, It's
- 15:18Speaker 1: facial recognition, it's reading our license plates. But it's illegal.
- 15:22Speaker 1: It's legal to do so. This police detective in Florida
- 15:25Speaker 1: was fired and arrested after investigators say that she secretly
- 15:28Speaker 1: searched flock license plate camera records over fifty times to
- 15:34Speaker 1: track her ex husband's wife. Whoa husband's ex wife. Okay,
- 15:39Speaker 1: so she was logging in to these flock cameras and
- 15:43Speaker 1: finding her license plate and then tracking where she was
- 15:46Speaker 1: going every day. Why, well, because she had some issue
- 15:50Speaker 1: with them. She thought they were still talking. Okay, she
- 15:53Speaker 1: thought they were something that she was running surveillance. But
- 15:56Speaker 1: you can't do that, right, you have to have a
- 15:58Speaker 1: reason to do that.
- 16:00Speaker 2: You're not a proper investigation, right.
- 16:02Speaker 1: So she was coming up with like fake police cases
- 16:05Speaker 1: and stuff to put in there, and somebody found out,
- 16:08Speaker 1: and they were like, hey, you can't do that. But
- 16:10Speaker 1: that's a good thing. Somebody found out. Yeah, so that's
- 16:13Speaker 1: a good thing that there's some kind of protocol that
- 16:14Speaker 1: you can't just track civilians for no reason. I know,
- 16:19Speaker 1: but all the conspiracy theories about these flog cameras are
- 16:22Speaker 1: kind of scary. Yeah, only fourteen percent of men in
- 16:24Speaker 1: the US are over six feet tall. New data shows
- 16:27Speaker 1: that is a real story, that is real data, and
- 16:31Speaker 1: it turns out it's kind of rare to be a
- 16:33Speaker 1: man who's over six foot tall. Oh, which only around
- 16:37Speaker 1: fourteen percent of US men aged twenty and over are
- 16:40Speaker 1: over six foot. That's what the CDC says. The average
- 16:43Speaker 1: adult American man stands about five foot nine inches tall.
- 16:47Speaker 1: So if ladies you want a man over six foot,
- 16:50Speaker 1: because that's what they always say, you know, no one
- 16:53Speaker 1: need to apply. If you're under six foot, then you're
- 16:56Speaker 1: going after fourteen percent of men. I mean, really, that's
- 17:00Speaker 1: not a lot of.
- 17:01Speaker 2: People shocking to me.
- 17:02Speaker 1: I mean, I'm so small.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Everyone's tall.
- 17:05Speaker 1: I'm five to eleven. Who swears that he's six foot?
- 17:08Speaker 1: I'm six foot, you.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Know, without your shoes? Huh, with your shoes.
- 17:14Speaker 1: I got a measure without my shoes. But I think
- 17:16Speaker 1: I'm just never really understood that the reason the need
- 17:18Speaker 1: for men to lie about their height, like we can see,
- 17:23Speaker 1: I mean, ladies want a tall man, I know, No,
- 17:26Speaker 1: I know, I guess I know they do. I think
- 17:27Speaker 1: that's factual, But does it really matter to ladies, Like
- 17:30Speaker 1: does it do they just say that if you met
- 17:32Speaker 1: a guy who's five to nine, right, are you going
- 17:35Speaker 1: to be.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Like if he's awesome, great, yeah, let's go right.
- 17:39Speaker 1: But who I guess Pooh laying down might be six foot.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Because we measure Pooh like we do newborns right on
- 17:50Speaker 2: their back.
- 17:50Speaker 1: You gotta lay them down with the pencil.
- 17:53Speaker 2: You make a mark with their head.
- 17:54Speaker 1: Is but it's also science, Candie. You know that you're
- 17:56Speaker 1: taller when you lay down? Who really? Yeah, when you
- 17:59Speaker 1: lay down, your find spreads out. Okay, so but you all, yeah,
- 18:03Speaker 1: well you know what, get on the floor, poof. Okay,
- 18:06Speaker 1: we're gonna measure you our newborn, our newborn, poo. Let's
- 18:13Speaker 1: give his vaccines while we're out of Channis. I'm so
- 18:17Speaker 1: nervous about this weekend. It's mixed one O two point
- 18:20Speaker 1: nine A billy a kid, Candice Lopez, producer poots. Turn
- 18:23Speaker 1: that off. No, I got a place.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Don't make it weird.
- 18:26Speaker 1: You don't make it weird.
- 18:27Speaker 9: Come on.
- 18:27Speaker 1: So our boss surprised me for like an early birthday
- 18:30Speaker 1: present because she knows I'm obsessed with Ella Langley and
- 18:34Speaker 1: I'm meeting her this weekend.
- 18:36Speaker 2: That's awesome, is it? Yeah?
- 18:39Speaker 1: Yeah, that's more appropriate music right here. So She's and
- 18:44Speaker 1: Dicky's and they surprised me with the little Yeah, you're
- 18:48Speaker 1: gonna go backstage and do a little meet and greet
- 18:50Speaker 1: and blah blah blah. And I'm so nervous. I don't
- 18:52Speaker 1: know what to wear.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I don't know what to do. You
- 18:54Speaker 2: can wear your fellow shirt.
- 18:56Speaker 1: No, I can't. I thought about it. I thought about it.
- 18:59Speaker 1: I don't want to look like a complete fan boy,
- 19:01Speaker 1: even though I am. Yeah, so I gotta play it cool.
- 19:04Speaker 1: But I can't really play it cool. So do I
- 19:06Speaker 1: do wear something black? Like you always something?
- 19:12Speaker 2: You're gonna wear a black hat, a black.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Shirt, baby yellow Stone. You don't know me. Whatever, you
- 19:18Speaker 1: ain't gonna change it. I'm not wearing black right now.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Yeah, but that's because it's Wednesday.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, and Ella's not here, and what do I
- 19:24Speaker 1: say to her? I'm like, I'm going to say something stupid.
- 19:27Speaker 1: Even though I meet celebrities with this job all the
- 19:29Speaker 1: time and I'm blessed, but when I'm actually nervous to
- 19:32Speaker 1: meet him, it's rare. So what am I gonna do?
- 19:35Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 19:35Speaker 2: Just be cool, It's fine.
- 19:37Speaker 1: I can't be cool.
- 19:38Speaker 2: Don't say anything. Is that awkward? Guy?
- 19:40Speaker 1: Oh that's not weird? Worst advice ever from cal don't
- 19:45Speaker 1: say anything for the picture. Oh yeah, Hi, I'm Billy. Yeah,
- 19:51Speaker 1: Travis Kelsey Kelsey.
- 19:53Speaker 5: Maybe I'll do thatless football.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Maybe I should bring her something? Yeah yeah, because it's Saturday.
- 20:00Speaker 1: What do I do? What do I? Ladies? What do
- 20:02Speaker 1: I bring her? At Billy on the radio on Instagram?
- 20:04Speaker 1: You like the doodle? Do you know? Doodle? That's creepy?
- 20:07Speaker 1: You're the I'm not taking advice from pooh. Bring her
- 20:10Speaker 1: a doodle. Here's what I doodled.
- 20:13Speaker 2: It work a piece of artwork. Your doodles, aren't I
- 20:17Speaker 2: though they'll be like oh that she'd.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Be like, oh that's sweet. Security. He's overstepped. Can we
- 20:24Speaker 1: talk about this? The things that men flaunt that women
- 20:27Speaker 1: actually don't care about. Ladies actually came out with a
- 20:30Speaker 1: list about this. Whoa you know, I love a good list. Yeah,
- 20:33Speaker 1: things men flaunt that women don't actually care about. Some
- 20:36Speaker 1: of this stuff. I don't. I don't believe.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Okay, what's on it?
- 20:39Speaker 1: Okay? And you tell me because you're a lady. Yeah, yes,
- 20:43Speaker 1: he is not you poo, you're a lady. Tell me
- 20:47Speaker 1: if you were single, would you care about this?
- 20:49Speaker 2: Okay?
- 20:49Speaker 1: And be honest? Expensive sport car.
- 20:56Speaker 2: To be honest, but I'm a car girl.
- 20:58Speaker 3: This doesn't not go for every woman on the planet
- 21:01Speaker 3: at all, because I am a rare breed.
- 21:03Speaker 1: I grew up with.
- 21:03Speaker 3: Cars and I love cars, So car car is important
- 21:07Speaker 3: to But you.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Like him because of you're into cars, not because of
- 21:11Speaker 1: status exactly.
- 21:13Speaker 3: Yeah, it doesn't have to be an expensive car, right,
- 21:15Speaker 3: let's put it that way.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Okay.
- 21:17Speaker 3: The way he dresses, Okay, I mean it says a
- 21:21Speaker 3: lot about you got to put yourself together.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Okay, you know that's fair.
- 21:24Speaker 3: Yeah, these sound really shallow, but let's be honest. People
- 21:27Speaker 3: care about what you're wearing because it tells a lot
- 21:29Speaker 3: about your personality.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Yeah, and it shows at energy and if you're driven
- 21:34Speaker 1: and how you want to represent yourself. I don't think
- 21:36Speaker 1: it's crazy. Yeah, things that men flaunt that women don't
- 21:39Speaker 1: actually care about over the top gym muscles.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, I don't care, Jim bros. You don't care
- 21:46Speaker 3: about over the top muscle.
- 21:48Speaker 1: This conversation general happened before on the show, and I
- 21:51Speaker 1: always wonder about this because for a while, ladies were
- 21:55Speaker 1: saying they were into the dadbod, which I never really believed. Yeah,
- 21:58Speaker 1: that was live for two weeks. I never believe that. Yeah,
- 22:01Speaker 1: but do you really not? Do women really not care
- 22:04Speaker 1: if guys muscular or not? No? Wow, I believe.
- 22:10Speaker 2: No, it's true.
- 22:10Speaker 3: It's more about your total package, your vibe, your energy,
- 22:13Speaker 3: your intelligence, your humor.
- 22:15Speaker 1: You're rare because I know most girls they want to
- 22:18Speaker 1: at least see a six pack or something with.
- 22:21Speaker 2: The wrong girls.
- 22:22Speaker 1: They don't want to see you at the pool with
- 22:23Speaker 1: a T shirt. All know?
- 22:24Speaker 2: How many guys be confident in what you got?
- 22:27Speaker 1: I mean I don't know. I don't be looking at them,
- 22:29Speaker 1: but I'm sure. Yeah I wish I had one, don't
- 22:31Speaker 1: get me wrong.
- 22:32Speaker 2: But well, I mean we all do. It would be nice.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Okay, So you don't really care about muscles, okay, all right?
- 22:39Speaker 1: Jewelry jewelry no, no, okay, name dropping powerful people no,
- 22:47Speaker 1: all right, that's so cringe, oversized luxury watches. No, So
- 22:54Speaker 1: what do ladies care about?
- 22:56Speaker 3: Well, like I said, it's your energy, it's your vibe,
- 22:58Speaker 3: it's your like life's rents, Like what you you done?
- 23:01Speaker 2: What kind of person are you? You know what I mean?
- 23:03Speaker 1: So it's nothing about the guy as far as what
- 23:06Speaker 1: he's wearing, as far as what he's well for you driving? Maybe?
- 23:09Speaker 2: Yeah, but I'm a car person.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Okay, what if he pulled up and you know, let's
- 23:14Speaker 1: say a very average.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Car like a and I haven't been single in a
- 23:17Speaker 2: long time.
- 23:18Speaker 1: So yeah, but when you were single, let me ask
- 23:20Speaker 1: you this, what is the first thing you noticed.
- 23:22Speaker 2: About a guy when he can when he walked up
- 23:24Speaker 2: or drove up?
- 23:25Speaker 1: When he walked? Yeah, walked because we know you.
- 23:29Speaker 3: His energy, his smile, Like, how is his face like
- 23:32Speaker 3: does he have RB? Okay, does he have that?
- 23:37Speaker 2: Or does he have like is he open and welcome?
- 23:39Speaker 2: And like does he have an energetic look?
- 23:41Speaker 1: I got If women care about this, this sucks because
- 23:44Speaker 1: I have constant even though if I don't mean, I
- 23:45Speaker 1: have constant get away from me face. Yeah I do.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Oh that's not good.
- 23:51Speaker 2: But we all could have that.
- 23:52Speaker 3: I have read a lot, but I'm intimidating because I
- 23:54Speaker 3: don't have Sometimes I'm just like in my zone.
- 23:57Speaker 2: I'm I got something.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Both do have? Intimid retired Just y'all serious? Sometimes I
- 24:02Speaker 1: gotta work on my face then.
- 24:04Speaker 6: Yeah, but they get on me for laughing all time,
- 24:06Speaker 6: you know, smiling Why what's so funny?
- 24:07Speaker 1: Well, because you laugh at funerals and very place. I'm
- 24:11Speaker 1: trying to work on.
- 24:12Speaker 6: It, but I can't be serious to walk up to
- 24:15Speaker 6: a girl, be serious and I know.
- 24:16Speaker 1: You don't have to be here.
- 24:17Speaker 6: I used to be like, where your smile at? And
- 24:20Speaker 6: I stopped. God, yeah, I stopped that.
- 24:22Speaker 1: This is not a list of what not to say.
- 24:26Speaker 9: It's New Mixed one two point nine.
- 24:28Speaker 7: It's Jesus Top Stories on the Tents with Billy's a
- 24:31Speaker 7: Kid in the.
- 24:32Speaker 8: Morning only on the New Mixed one or two point nine.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Chance to go to Disneyland coming up next. Get ready
- 24:38Speaker 1: for that. It's back to school time. By the way,
- 24:40Speaker 1: I got a shout out to Arbor Creek Middle School.
- 24:43Speaker 1: Arbor Creek Middle School in Louisville, what's up? First day back?
- 24:46Speaker 1: I love that school. I might be very close with
- 24:49Speaker 1: missus open House one of the principals over there. Oh really,
- 24:53Speaker 1: I'm just saying she might be my neighbor. So I
- 24:55Speaker 1: will put you intottention if you act up, you got
- 24:58Speaker 1: pull like I got connections. Yeah, shout out to everybody there. No,
- 25:02Speaker 1: we love that school. So Candice Lopez, what is going on?
- 25:05Speaker 9: Well?
- 25:05Speaker 3: Speaking of back to school, we don't have a heat
- 25:07Speaker 3: advisory today if you're heading back, but.
- 25:09Speaker 2: It is going to be hot.
- 25:10Speaker 3: I guess the humidity is going to be a little
- 25:11Speaker 3: bit lower today, but we do have a high around
- 25:13Speaker 3: one two. Yeah, welcome back, Solina, red Oak, Waksahatchie, Alito Burlasson,
- 25:19Speaker 3: mid Lothian Mansfield. Big day for back to school and
- 25:22Speaker 3: shout out to Lancaster Is.
- 25:24Speaker 2: They're back today as well.
- 25:26Speaker 3: They have a one hundred percent graduation rate that they're
- 25:29Speaker 3: hoping to maintain this school year.
- 25:31Speaker 2: So good luck with that Lancaster ISD.
- 25:33Speaker 1: Wow. Yeah, that's pretty I don't know the statistics usually,
- 25:37Speaker 1: but that's pretty incredible.
- 25:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I would think. So, Yeah, congrats to you guys
- 25:40Speaker 3: in good luck this year. Uh, here's something I've never
- 25:43Speaker 3: seen before. The University of Michigan is moving away from
- 25:46Speaker 3: a letter grading system for first semester freshmen in their
- 25:50Speaker 3: College of Literature, Science and Arts. So instead of like
- 25:54Speaker 3: a through F, you're going to get a pass or
- 25:57Speaker 3: no credit result from the fall semester in STA.
- 26:00Speaker 1: What.
- 26:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:01Speaker 3: So the idea behind this is to ease the transition
- 26:04Speaker 3: to college level courses, reduce a freshman stress, and really
- 26:08Speaker 3: help mental health.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Oh well, good, interesting is it helping or are we
- 26:13Speaker 1: being softly?
- 26:14Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 26:14Speaker 3: Real, I mean it like doesn't matter. I've been so
- 26:17Speaker 3: used to a through f for you know, all of school.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Who cares well when you get to that level. If
- 26:22Speaker 1: you're going to the University of Michigan, which is a
- 26:24Speaker 1: good college. Yeah, my sister went there nice, I all
- 26:27Speaker 1: went there too. I couldn't get in there at all.
- 26:31Speaker 1: It's fine.
- 26:31Speaker 2: I bet you could.
- 26:32Speaker 1: No, I couldn't. But what are they gonna do it?
- 26:33Speaker 1: They're gonna give stickers, right.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Yeah, so it doesn't affect like your GPA and stuff.
- 26:39Speaker 3: It's like, you know, one chance to ease into this
- 26:42Speaker 3: either past or you didn't. You know, it's like your
- 26:44Speaker 3: money was worth it or not.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Because I know mental health is definitely needs to be Yes,
- 26:49Speaker 1: we need to be aware of it and we need
- 26:50Speaker 1: to be cognizant of it. But at the same time,
- 26:52Speaker 1: I don't know if this is what really matters, right.
- 26:55Speaker 2: I mean, there are a lot of things affecting mental
- 26:56Speaker 2: health more.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Than oh I got to see and statistics.
- 26:59Speaker 1: You know, like you're you're a freshman at University Michigan.
- 27:02Speaker 1: You're gonna get a sticker if you be good and
- 27:04Speaker 1: okay to me?
- 27:05Speaker 2: I literally didn't care. Did I pass or not?
- 27:07Speaker 1: Yeah? Right?
- 27:08Speaker 2: You know, am I moving on? Do I gotta pay
- 27:09Speaker 2: for this again?
- 27:10Speaker 1: Exactly?
- 27:11Speaker 3: Yeah, guys, this couple in California is going viral this
- 27:15Speaker 3: morning for their wedding pictures that were just released. So
- 27:18Speaker 3: they were taking pictures in Mammoth Lakes there by the water,
- 27:22Speaker 3: and so you see them. She's in her you know, gown,
- 27:24Speaker 3: and he's in you know, his tucks and Shaboozi is
- 27:27Speaker 3: in the background.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Oh, I saw this.
- 27:30Speaker 3: So he was tubing there with the group before something
- 27:34Speaker 3: called the Wooly Run.
- 27:35Speaker 2: I guess they do.
- 27:35Speaker 3: Outdoorsy stuff in motorsports, and they've been camping nearby at
- 27:39Speaker 3: the same time.
- 27:39Speaker 2: They were on like a three day camping trip.
- 27:41Speaker 3: So they're taking pictures and he's in the back in
- 27:44Speaker 3: a tube in a swimsuit, just.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Like what's up?
- 27:46Speaker 1: Yeah, with a drink in his hand. Yeah, but he
- 27:48Speaker 1: totally like showed him love. He's like, hey, what's up
- 27:51Speaker 1: and he just floats by. Yeah, that was kind of
- 27:53Speaker 1: a vibe. I love when celebrities crash weddings, why.
- 27:57Speaker 3: But I love it when they play along or hit
- 27:59Speaker 3: the dance floor like they're down to interact and take pictures.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Like remember Bruno Mars just showed up at this wedding
- 28:04Speaker 1: one time online and people freaked out, or like you
- 28:07Speaker 1: don't just be in the same hotel as a wedding.
- 28:08Speaker 1: I love that stuff.
- 28:09Speaker 3: Show I did too, and real quick because I promise
- 28:11Speaker 3: people online I was going to talk about this.
- 28:13Speaker 2: I guess who's getting into music?
- 28:15Speaker 3: Do you want to hear this celebrity song before I
- 28:18Speaker 3: tell you who it is?
- 28:19Speaker 1: Yeah, let me hear because I don't know who it
- 28:20Speaker 1: is yet. Okay, but you sent me the clip. Here
- 28:22Speaker 1: we go play it. A celebrity that normally doesn't sing right.
- 28:26Speaker 1: It is move those mount sail across the.
- 28:33Speaker 2: I feel like this is obvious. No, the obviously bad
- 28:39Speaker 2: or released the song for his three daughters.
- 28:41Speaker 3: It's called your Dad. He actually co wrote it three
- 28:45Speaker 3: years ago.
- 28:46Speaker 1: Now you got to make me feel bad Canvas, I'd say,
- 28:49Speaker 1: who it is?
- 28:50Speaker 2: It's the rock.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Wow you under.
- 28:56Speaker 3: A Mowana companion album.
- 28:59Speaker 2: That's sweat But yeah, it's very.
- 29:01Speaker 3: Sweet, but you know, the rock doing his own thing
- 29:04Speaker 3: in the music world.
- 29:05Speaker 1: I mean, say, across the that is sweet.
- 29:09Speaker 3: If you watch the video you'll cry because there's pictures
- 29:11Speaker 3: of his daughters when they were babies and growing up
- 29:14Speaker 3: and maybe you should have.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Just done a poem though, Oh stop poo.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Stick to Texas Stories Mix.
- 29:27Speaker 1: One O two point nine. Good morning, it's bailing to
- 29:29Speaker 1: kid Cannas Loanpez producer Phoo is here. We got Dirty
- 29:32Speaker 1: Little Seekert coming up next. We're about to do the banger.
- 29:34Speaker 1: But it's back to school, Tommy. You know what I'm
- 29:36Speaker 1: getting excited about, Cannis. What and pooh? I was thinking
- 29:38Speaker 1: about this because you know, I love high school football.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I love some good rivalries high school football.
- 29:44Speaker 1: I mean Friday night lights. I'm excited for it. So
- 29:47Speaker 1: I figured we'd run down some of the biggest rivalries okay,
- 29:52Speaker 1: in North Texas. And here's what we're gonna do, because
- 29:54Speaker 1: these schools are talking trash about each other.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 29:57Speaker 1: So here's what we'll do is we'll pick who we
- 30:00Speaker 1: he thinks gonna win. We're gonna keep track and at
- 30:02Speaker 1: the end of the season, whoever gets the most games wrong,
- 30:06Speaker 1: he's gonna have to spin the wheel of his fortune
- 30:09Speaker 1: and good punishment. Okay, Okay, So I'm gonna go through
- 30:12Speaker 1: some of these rivalries, right, and I'm gonna pick who
- 30:15Speaker 1: I think is gonna win. You do the same. You
- 30:17Speaker 1: circle your sheet, Cannas Pooh, you do the same. Are
- 30:20Speaker 1: you ready for the first game? I'm ready. Juncinville the
- 30:24Speaker 1: Panthers taken on De Soto. That is a massive game.
- 30:27Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 30:29Speaker 1: Yeah, you went to Duncanville. Panthers are ranked number one,
- 30:32Speaker 1: de Soto number five. Go ahead pick. I know who
- 30:36Speaker 1: you're gonna pick, poo Baby, because you were the mascot there. Yeah,
- 30:40Speaker 1: the original black panther. Yeah, he was the backup mask. Yeah,
- 30:43Speaker 1: the backup and also served as the water boy. Hey,
- 30:47Speaker 1: you gotta do what you gotta do. Yeah, all right,
- 30:49Speaker 1: we got you picking Duncanville, Cannis, who you're gonna pick?
- 30:52Speaker 3: I really want to go against Pooh, but I went
- 30:54Speaker 3: to elementary and intermediate school in Duncanville, so I gotta
- 30:57Speaker 3: take the Panthers.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Okay, to Maryfield element I'm gonna tell you.
- 31:02Speaker 1: Right now, I'm going with De Soto. Okay, okay, just
- 31:06Speaker 1: to go against Pooh, and trust me, I think an
- 31:09Speaker 1: eagle because I also go with the mascot. Oh, yeah
- 31:11Speaker 1: he does. And I know Duncanville. They talk a lot
- 31:14Speaker 1: and they're good. But I somehow think an eagle would
- 31:17Speaker 1: swoop down and hit the panther in the eye not
- 31:19Speaker 1: at all and blind him. That's my mentality. So that's
- 31:23Speaker 1: a big game, all right. Game number two, North Crowley
- 31:27Speaker 1: the Panthers versus Crowley. Okay, so it's a Panthers versus
- 31:31Speaker 1: the Eagles again. Yes, Candice, what's your pig?
- 31:35Speaker 3: I'm going North Crowley, Panthers, North Crawley.
- 31:38Speaker 6: Okay, pooh, I'm gonna going North Crawley as well.
- 31:41Speaker 1: They're ranked number eight and Crowley is ranked three hundred
- 31:44Speaker 1: and one. I'm going Crawley. I'm going Crawley with the
- 31:51Speaker 1: upset because I mean, I gotta say with my eagle,
- 31:53Speaker 1: my eagle is gonna beat a panther up. All right.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Game three, Oh, this where it's gonna get tough. The
- 31:59Speaker 1: Alley Eagles. There's so many Eagles verse the feared McKinney Lions.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Is that how the mascot sounds? Yeah? I don't know
- 32:13Speaker 1: that I heard. It's more you know what Alan says,
- 32:14Speaker 1: It's more like this. Okay, who your pick.
- 32:20Speaker 6: I'm gonna go with McKinny Lyons for the upset, okay.
- 32:24Speaker 3: Candas, Yeah, I got friends of McKinney shout out.
- 32:27Speaker 1: I am too. Let's go. Yeah, all right, quick, Miley
- 32:31Speaker 1: Wiley the Pirates first Roulette. Okay, Oh that's tough.
- 32:37Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 32:38Speaker 1: I think a pirate might beat up an eagle. I'm
- 32:40Speaker 1: going Wiley. Pooh, you're going. I'm going to Wiley Pirates
- 32:43Speaker 1: because my son is a Wiley Pirate. Yeah. I can't
- 32:46Speaker 1: believe Candice went against your son. Yeah.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Sorry, all right.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Last game grape Vine the Mustangs versus Collieville the Panthers.
- 32:55Speaker 1: Who you taking, Candas yepoo, I'm to be a Panther. Okay,
- 33:02Speaker 1: I'm going grape Vine.
- 33:05Speaker 10: There you go.
- 33:05Speaker 1: So we got to keep track. Whoever loses has to
- 33:08Speaker 1: spin the wheel of misfortune. Back to school time. We
- 33:11Speaker 1: gotta play this song. This is the banger today and
- 33:14Speaker 1: I figured this is a good one, just to get
- 33:15Speaker 1: you a hype for football. Get you HiPE back to school.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Let's go, and we got Dirty Little Secret coming up next.
- 33:20Speaker 9: For new Mixed one on two point nine.

- 33:56Speaker 1: the other parents, just do what you gotta do, because
- 33:58Speaker 1: why not. Right at Mix one of two FM, Happy
- 34:01Speaker 1: first day of school? Are you ready for a little
- 34:04Speaker 1: back to school secret? Right here? If you have a secret,
- 34:07Speaker 1: you want to confess something eight three three seven eight
- 34:10Speaker 1: seven one O two nine And I heard this is
- 34:13Speaker 1: a good one.
- 34:13Speaker 10: Too, definitely a good one here. So I have a confession.
- 34:18Speaker 10: I'm absolutely mortified by this situation. My daughter is in
- 34:23Speaker 10: elementary school. I'm not going to say which one last
- 34:26Speaker 10: year I was. You know that, mom. I was volunteered
- 34:30Speaker 10: for everything. I was doing field days, carnivals, fundraisers, class parties,
- 34:35Speaker 10: anything they needed. I was the one they called right Yeah.
- 34:39Speaker 10: Somewhere along the way, I met my daughter's pe teacher,
- 34:44Speaker 10: and I developed like the hugest like girl, like school
- 34:49Speaker 10: girl style crash, you.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Know, Okay, all right.
- 34:53Speaker 10: With that man is ridiculously good looking, But even more
- 34:58Speaker 10: than that, he's just gen let me a nice guy.
- 35:01Speaker 10: He's really great with kids, and he's always smiling, always friendly.
- 35:06Speaker 10: I never knew if he was actually single or not,
- 35:08Speaker 10: because we barely talked, honestly, but I thought that he
- 35:12Speaker 10: might flirt with me a little bit here and there.
- 35:14Speaker 10: But now that I look back on it, maybe maybe
- 35:18Speaker 10: just being nice. Okay, flirting with me?
- 35:21Speaker 1: There's a fine line.
- 35:23Speaker 10: Yeah, Well, and that's what actually makes everything even more embarrassing.
- 35:26Speaker 10: For the meat of the thing, I'm divorced. And a
- 35:30Speaker 10: few weeks ago, my ex had my daughter over at
- 35:33Speaker 10: his place for the weekend and I met some friends
- 35:36Speaker 10: for food drinks, and let's just say those day drinks
- 35:39Speaker 10: turned into like all days last night drink.
- 35:43Speaker 1: Yeah, nothing good happens when you start day drinking. Day
- 35:47Speaker 1: drinking makes you do things you've never done before. So
- 35:50Speaker 1: now I'm really nervous. So what did you do now?
- 35:52Speaker 10: Well, apparently drunk me decided that she was going to
- 35:56Speaker 10: shoot her shot with the pe teacher, and I had
- 36:00Speaker 10: his email still from like one of those school email
- 36:03Speaker 10: chain things about an event. Well, I looked him up
- 36:07Speaker 10: specifically and found it and I emailed him and I barely.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Remember you drunk emailed him, Yeah, what what did you say?
- 36:21Speaker 1: This is awful.
- 36:23Speaker 10: I was really bad. So I did see it the
- 36:25Speaker 10: next morning because like I remembered it like midway through
- 36:28Speaker 10: the night when I woke up, like you know when
- 36:29Speaker 10: you wake up when it wears off a little bit.
- 36:31Speaker 9: Oh.
- 36:32Speaker 1: So at first you're like, I just dreamed that, right right.
- 36:35Speaker 10: I was like, oh no, that can't I can't.
- 36:39Speaker 1: No, No, Then it was real.
- 36:41Speaker 4: Phone.
- 36:42Speaker 10: Next morning, I see that I sent an email and
- 36:45Speaker 10: I like started shaking.
- 36:47Speaker 2: Oh god, what did say?
- 36:49Speaker 10: I saw his email name and I was like, oh no,
- 36:51Speaker 10: I actually did it. So I basically wanted to eat
- 36:55Speaker 10: my phone into the lake. It said, sorry, I'm cringing still.
- 37:02Speaker 10: It's like I'm shaking just thinking about it. It said,
- 37:06Speaker 10: I think you're extremely attractive. If you're not seeing anyone,
- 37:09Speaker 10: we should absolutely grab drinks or dinner because I promise
- 37:13Speaker 10: you'll have a good time.
- 37:14Speaker 6: Oh whoa oho.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Wow, all out on the table. We should go grab drinks.
- 37:23Speaker 1: The only part that's like, okay, what does that mean?
- 37:26Speaker 1: Is I guarantee you'll have a good time.
- 37:28Speaker 7: Yeah, So what you're saying.
- 37:30Speaker 1: What you're saying, Mom, I mean, okay, that's not so
- 37:35Speaker 1: you're saying that's not something you would normally write.
- 37:37Speaker 10: No, like not sober.
- 37:40Speaker 6: Okay, I'm not so bold.
- 37:42Speaker 10: I know it seems like I've got a personality, but
- 37:45Speaker 10: I'm really shy in person. Oh yeah, I can't make
- 37:48Speaker 10: IC contacts.
- 37:49Speaker 1: Okay, So here's what I'm wanting. I'm dying to know.
- 37:52Speaker 1: Did you get a response?
- 37:54Speaker 10: No, he didn't even reply at all. There was not
- 38:02Speaker 10: even like a flattered but no or like oh wow Mary,
- 38:07Speaker 10: just silence crickets. And so I think for some reason,
- 38:10Speaker 10: I'm freaking out more because that's actually worse. Yeah, I'm
- 38:15Speaker 10: not going to be that mom anymore. I can't show there.
- 38:18Speaker 1: Oh no, you're right, I mean right, almost getting no
- 38:23Speaker 1: response is worse than a response because that now you
- 38:26Speaker 1: don't even know where his head's at, right.
- 38:28Speaker 2: I mean, maybe he didn't get it. Maybe you made
- 38:29Speaker 2: a typo can, maybe it was Gmail and maybe.
- 38:33Speaker 1: Went to sad. Yeah, these are all the things though,
- 38:38Speaker 1: you'll you'll never know and you'll have to wonder until
- 38:41Speaker 1: you see him. And you know what, he might never
- 38:44Speaker 1: say anything about it. He might pretend he never saw it.
- 38:46Speaker 2: But he did, right, because he doesn't know what to do.
- 38:48Speaker 10: Guy, he's so nice.
- 38:50Speaker 1: Like that happened to me. That happened to me once
- 38:52Speaker 1: where somebody sent me a drunk text. It was very
- 38:56Speaker 1: drunk and it was from a woman and it was
- 38:58Speaker 1: someone that I'm friends with, but she kind of like
- 39:00Speaker 1: took it over the line. And when she mentioned it
- 39:03Speaker 1: the next day, she was like, oh my god, did
- 39:06Speaker 1: I text you last night? I was like, loll no,
- 39:08Speaker 1: why but she did. I just pretended like she didn't
- 39:12Speaker 1: to save everyone, right. Yeah, but but that maybe he'll
- 39:16Speaker 1: do that or maybe he'll know. There's no way he
- 39:19Speaker 1: would have responded. I mean, I'm not being mean, but
- 39:20Speaker 1: he would he would have responded.
- 39:22Speaker 3: I think he would have said, literally anything, can you
- 39:25Speaker 3: unsend it?
- 39:26Speaker 1: Too late for that? All right? Well, I mean you're
- 39:30Speaker 1: about to find out what. I don't blame you, but
- 39:32Speaker 1: you shouldn't let this affect to where you don't volunteer
- 39:35Speaker 1: and stuff for your school. Yeah, I mean he'll get
- 39:38Speaker 1: over it.
- 39:39Speaker 2: Yeah, keep moving on it. You're not going to be
- 39:40Speaker 2: at the school forever.
- 39:41Speaker 1: You technically did not say anything inappropriate. You alluded to
- 39:46Speaker 1: I alluded.
- 39:46Speaker 10: I made so many promises that I'm.
- 39:49Speaker 1: Trying to help you out, you know what I mean, Like,
- 39:54Speaker 1: you know, if it was it unprofessional to do, I
- 39:57Speaker 1: don't know, there's not You don't work there.
- 39:58Speaker 2: I mean, you're not the professional.
- 39:59Speaker 1: He yeah, so he didn't do anything wrong. You didn't
- 40:01Speaker 1: do anything wrong. You shot your shot. You know what,
- 40:03Speaker 1: Who cares? I'm over it.
- 40:06Speaker 3: I mean, you can't take it back at this point.
- 40:07Speaker 3: You just got to say who cares?
- 40:09Speaker 1: Yeah, when you see him, be like you're missing out.
- 40:11Speaker 1: It would have been a good time bro double down
- 40:17Speaker 1: as well.
- 40:17Speaker 10: I guess.
- 40:18Speaker 1: Yeah, well good, that's a good secret. Can you please
- 40:21Speaker 1: let us know if he says anything though, I promise
- 40:23Speaker 1: I will. Okay, good luck and yeah, back to school
- 40:26Speaker 1: is gonna be fun this year. A car line's gonna
- 40:29Speaker 1: hit different.
- 40:31Speaker 6: Mommy, why are you dropping me off at the end
- 40:33Speaker 6: of the block.
- 40:39Speaker 1: Got a chance go to Disneyland and coming up. We'll
- 40:41Speaker 1: do it at a ten. It's mixed one O two
- 40:43Speaker 1: point nine trips up for grabs. We do it on
- 40:45Speaker 1: the tent. It's pretty much every hour all day. It's
- 40:47Speaker 1: Billy the Kid, Candaslow pats producer poo before we get
- 40:50Speaker 1: to Candas Court. We had this dirty little secret. We're
- 40:52Speaker 1: getting a lot of calls and DM's about and I'm
- 40:55Speaker 1: kind of shocked by it because I never never would
- 40:59Speaker 1: drawn email one of my son's teachers. No, that's what happened.
- 41:03Speaker 1: This girl did it. She's like, I was kind of
- 41:05Speaker 1: obsessed with the pe teacher at my daughter's school over
- 41:08Speaker 1: the summer. I did some day drinking and I shot
- 41:11Speaker 1: my shot. So, uh, Tiffany's on the phone. You're a teacher,
- 41:13Speaker 1: and what did you say?
- 41:14Speaker 4: Now, if she is not from the school's organization, it'll
- 41:18Speaker 4: go right into spam. Ah really okay, yes, and this
- 41:24Speaker 4: actually happens a lot when you're a teacher, even.
- 41:27Speaker 10: If you read it.
- 41:28Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean parents will do this.
- 41:30Speaker 1: It does happen. You've had a school dad shoot a
- 41:33Speaker 1: shot with you.
- 41:34Speaker 4: Oh yeah, this happened.
- 41:35Speaker 1: Really? What if you said no? Yes? Oh, it's always
- 41:38Speaker 1: an it's always a no. Is that because you're in
- 41:41Speaker 1: a relationship or you just wouldn't date the students? Okay? Now,
- 41:44Speaker 1: if you weren't, if you weren't, would you.
- 41:47Speaker 4: I mean, data parent would be intrigued if the person
- 41:50Speaker 4: tried and maybe do something public though.
- 41:53Speaker 1: I got to see what my son's teachers look like. Man,
- 41:56Speaker 1: I should have shot my shot last year.
- 41:58Speaker 2: My son teachers.
- 41:59Speaker 1: You should have know what happened.
- 42:01Speaker 4: Okay, do you need to go? All right?
- 42:02Speaker 1: Well, we love you, thank you for what you do.
- 42:07Speaker 1: About to ring, gotta go. We're gonna start court anyway,
- 42:09Speaker 1: here we go.
- 42:11Speaker 7: All right, he's going for Candace Court. It gets settled
- 42:15Speaker 7: here with Billy the Kid in the morning.
- 42:17Speaker 1: All rise for the Honorable Judge Candace Lopez, the skeeter herself. Hey,
- 42:23Speaker 1: the mesquite, Mama Sita, the town East. I don't know
- 42:27Speaker 1: what I was gonna sound these beast. No, the Town's torta.
- 42:31Speaker 1: But that wouldn't be it. No, No, I didn't. They
- 42:34Speaker 1: just rhyme. I said, Town's beast. But Townese beast is
- 42:37Speaker 1: rude because she's the beast when it comes to judging.
- 42:40Speaker 2: Yeah, there you go and shopping.
- 42:43Speaker 1: If you have an issue in Candace can solve it
- 42:45Speaker 1: at Candace on Air. At Candace on Air. Okay, now
- 42:48Speaker 1: listen to what this girl says. This is a good one.
- 42:50Speaker 1: My boyfriend and I have been together for five months,
- 42:52Speaker 1: and before my birthday, I told him one thing I've
- 42:55Speaker 1: always wanted to do as a kid, and that was
- 42:58Speaker 1: to go to Sea World Santonio for the dolphin experience
- 43:02Speaker 1: growing up. Never had the chance because we couldn't afford it.
- 43:06Speaker 1: For my birthday, he surprised me with a trip there
- 43:09Speaker 1: and I was so excited. Away well maybe, and I thought, wow,
- 43:15Speaker 1: he really listened to me. We spent the day together,
- 43:18Speaker 1: saw a couple of shows, had fun, but as we
- 43:22Speaker 1: were walking around, I saw people doing the animal experiences
- 43:26Speaker 1: where they got to feed the animals and take photos
- 43:28Speaker 1: with them, like I've always wanted to do, so I
- 43:31Speaker 1: asked him why we weren't doing that, and he told
- 43:35Speaker 1: me it wasn't in the budget. Oh no, oh no.
- 43:41Speaker 1: And I was so disappointed because I had been hyped
- 43:44Speaker 1: up for this big birthday surprise and it felt like
- 43:47Speaker 1: I was going to get that experience, but I didn't.
- 43:51Speaker 1: In my mind, if you're gonna spend money on a
- 43:53Speaker 1: special birthday trip, then why not plan for the part
- 43:56Speaker 1: that would have made it truly memorable. Really built up
- 44:01Speaker 1: my expectations and then couldn't follow through. He feels like
- 44:06Speaker 1: I didn't appreciate the trip, but I feel like he
- 44:09Speaker 1: doesn't get why I'm disappointed. I write this, Stop what
- 44:15Speaker 1: I write this as I'm looking at the AI photo
- 44:18Speaker 1: we got with a beluga whale. No, and not a
- 44:22Speaker 1: real world Am I being ungrateful? Oh? No, not an
- 44:33Speaker 1: AI photo with a whale.
- 44:35Speaker 3: I mean I guess that's better than a person in
- 44:37Speaker 3: a beluga whales.
- 44:39Speaker 2: Like your mascot photo.
- 44:41Speaker 1: Okay, So, Candae, how do we feel about this? I
- 44:45Speaker 1: feel like the guy was trying to do his best.
- 44:48Speaker 1: She had a specific thing in mind that she wanted
- 44:50Speaker 1: for her dreams to come true. Yeah, they've been dating
- 44:53Speaker 1: for five months. He's in Cannis Court. Who's right, Who's wrong?
- 44:56Speaker 3: You gotta tell her beforehand so she doesn't expect the
- 44:59Speaker 3: animal experience.
- 45:00Speaker 2: She didn't.
- 45:01Speaker 3: She say, I wanted to do whatever this dolphin experience was. Yeah,
- 45:05Speaker 3: and that was part of her big dream at sea World.
- 45:08Speaker 1: That's what she says. I always wanted to do the
- 45:10Speaker 1: dolphin experience at SeaWorld San Antonio. Oh no, she got
- 45:14Speaker 1: half the experience she got SeaWorld.
- 45:16Speaker 2: Yeah, well, you gotta.
- 45:17Speaker 3: Tell her if you can't budget for the experience, she
- 45:20Speaker 3: like straight up told you she's wanted to do since
- 45:23Speaker 3: she was a kid. She's totally thinking she's doing that.
- 45:26Speaker 3: And then if you tell her you're going to San
- 45:27Speaker 3: Antonio for SeaWorld, she's thinking that.
- 45:30Speaker 1: So you're not saying that he did the wrong thing.
- 45:33Speaker 1: You're just saying you should have prepared her for what
- 45:35Speaker 1: was about to happen. And that was not a picture
- 45:37Speaker 1: with the bluego whale exactly.
- 45:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean you've definitely disappointed her. You have to
- 45:43Speaker 3: own up to the fact that you let her down.
- 45:45Speaker 3: I appreciate that you took her to Sea World, I
- 45:47Speaker 3: do truly, but you gotta do the dolphin experience.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Is she being ungrateful?
- 45:52Speaker 6: Whose side are you on, pa, I'm on the on
- 45:55Speaker 6: the lady's side, believe it or not. And I'm the
- 45:57Speaker 6: cheapest pertow in his studio. If you're gonna go all
- 46:01Speaker 6: out for a girl, save up homie, like like, for instance,
- 46:05Speaker 6: this is hysterical. Can just likes cars. I know you're
- 46:08Speaker 6: married and all that, but if I was trying to
- 46:10Speaker 6: press you, I'm not gonna take you go card like
- 46:13Speaker 6: I'm gonna go, hey, you want to go to f
- 46:15Speaker 6: one or something like that.
- 46:17Speaker 1: I'm gonna say I'm gonna save up. No, I'm just
- 46:20Speaker 1: saying if I love your Pool. But come on, of
- 46:22Speaker 1: all people, this is one of the guys who listen.
- 46:25Speaker 6: Cheap, I'm cheap. But if listen I learned my lesson.
- 46:28Speaker 6: You know, you told me I lived outside my means
- 46:31Speaker 6: that one time I tried to impress that girl and
- 46:34Speaker 6: had to call you for backup.
- 46:35Speaker 1: I took her to a restaurant and didn't have enough money.
- 46:37Speaker 6: I should have just said, you know, let's just do
- 46:40Speaker 6: Applebee's for the first day, but I had to take
- 46:43Speaker 6: her to a five star Michelan or whatever they called
- 46:46Speaker 6: a restaurant, and then I had to borrow money from Billy.
- 46:48Speaker 1: That's almost not the same though. It's because you took
- 46:51Speaker 1: her to a nice restaurant, but she didn't have specific
- 46:53Speaker 1: ones or needs, right, right, But.
- 46:54Speaker 6: If you're gonna go all out for if you're gonna
- 46:57Speaker 6: cater to her because you're trying to impress her.
- 46:59Speaker 1: Save up, don't do it.
- 47:00Speaker 6: Don't don't drop four hours away to San Antonio and and.
- 47:04Speaker 1: Not what I expected from Pool.
- 47:05Speaker 6: I thought, yeah, I end up with an AI photo.
- 47:08Speaker 6: That's yeah, she's probably looking at you side way home.
- 47:11Speaker 6: I thought you were definitely going to say that you
- 47:13Speaker 6: were on her. She should be great on his side,
- 47:15Speaker 6: and yeah, she's being alone.
- 47:16Speaker 2: I think she is. But she felt like you heard her.
- 47:19Speaker 1: She felt like she was listening to look how hype
- 47:22Speaker 1: she was. She was like, oh my god, he saw me,
- 47:24Speaker 1: and I can't believe. I gotta be honest, I'm against
- 47:27Speaker 1: both of you on this one. What because maybe he
- 47:30Speaker 1: didn't even know what the dolphin experience was.
- 47:33Speaker 2: Maybe he's like the website.
- 47:34Speaker 1: The experiences you see in the dolphins, and we saw.
- 47:38Speaker 3: So you think maybe it was a miscommunication. She should
- 47:40Speaker 3: have said better, like you can swim with the dolphins
- 47:42Speaker 3: and feed them and I.
- 47:42Speaker 1: Think them if you want something, and you got to
- 47:44Speaker 1: be very specific, meaning she ought to. She should have said,
- 47:48Speaker 1: I don't even want to go there unless I can
- 47:50Speaker 1: swim and frolic with the dolphins or whatever they do.
- 47:53Speaker 1: I don't even want to go if I can't do that.
- 47:54Speaker 1: Because this guy's intentions were well and I think that
- 47:57Speaker 1: he's absolutely in the right, and I think she's wrong.
- 48:01Speaker 1: She's being ungrateful, she's being a bluga betty, But I'm
- 48:03Speaker 1: not the judge. He had to take control. He should
- 48:06Speaker 1: have took control. He it's expensive. It's not cheap.
- 48:10Speaker 2: It's no, it's not.
- 48:11Speaker 1: It's like one hundred and something dollars to do the
- 48:13Speaker 1: experience of the Beluga whales. Right, well, girl, I'm gonna
- 48:17Speaker 1: I'm on an AI budget.
- 48:19Speaker 2: Well tell her.
- 48:20Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but I mean he tried to do something.
- 48:24Speaker 1: Next time we can save up and put a one
- 48:26Speaker 1: whale on layaway. And this one is what is a verdict?
- 48:31Speaker 3: Bro, I'm sorry, but you're guilty being a sea sponge.
- 48:34Speaker 2: Steve Sponge. Yeah, they don't have brains. Who Yeah, you
- 48:40Speaker 2: gotta tell her what to expect. I love what you're
- 48:43Speaker 2: taking her to seawettle, But.
- 48:45Speaker 3: She thinks she's swimming with the dolphins and sees everyone
- 48:47Speaker 3: else swimming with them.
- 48:48Speaker 2: She's disappointed.
- 48:50Speaker 1: Wrong for this, You're wrong. He's a jellyfish gym. Okay,
- 48:55Speaker 1: he is guilty of being.
- 48:56Speaker 2: A sea sponge.
- 48:57Speaker 7: Steve Stories on the Tents with Billy the Kid in the.
- 49:02Speaker 8: Morning only on the New Mix one O two point nine.
- 49:05Speaker 1: All right, trip to disney Land if you want to go,
- 49:08Speaker 1: We got so many chances for you to win. Make
- 49:09Speaker 1: sure you listen. We'll do it next. Candice Lopez, what
- 49:12Speaker 1: is going on.
- 49:12Speaker 3: Well, it is back to school for over one hundred
- 49:14Speaker 3: districts and the metroplex. This is really the big, big
- 49:16Speaker 3: wave of students and teachers going back today. So welcome
- 49:20Speaker 3: back Oarlington, Richardson, Lewisville, forty, Frisco. The list goes on
- 49:24Speaker 3: and on today. But if you are in Frisco, heads up.
- 49:27Speaker 3: If you were planning to ride an e scooter or
- 49:29Speaker 3: e bike to class or let your kids do that,
- 49:32Speaker 3: the policy there has changed. Kids can no longer ride
- 49:36Speaker 3: those to and from schools in the district. So this
- 49:38Speaker 3: kind of goes along with the city ordnance that says
- 49:41Speaker 3: you can't ride.
- 49:41Speaker 2: Those things on public roadways. But they're saying that.
- 49:45Speaker 3: Just in the spring semester of last school year, Frisco
- 49:48Speaker 3: PETE responded to thirty five incidents involving students who were
- 49:52Speaker 3: on e scooters or e bikes. The majority of those
- 49:55Speaker 3: happened right as school let out. So just a big reminder,
- 49:59Speaker 3: and you know, don't beat this distracted when you're driving
- 50:00Speaker 3: around schools today in this afternoon, school zones are in effect.
- 50:04Speaker 1: Well, so slow it down, okay, it right. I'm kind
- 50:06Speaker 1: of crazy though, these kids, and I have to tell
- 50:07Speaker 1: my son. First of all, he's not allowed to wear
- 50:09Speaker 1: you know where he's got to wear helmet. Yeah, but
- 50:12Speaker 1: I mean at the same time, they'll ban e bikes,
- 50:15Speaker 1: but they'll they're fine with a scooter that goes seventy.
- 50:18Speaker 2: Yeah, it's really interesting the different roles. Check in your.
- 50:20Speaker 3: District too, because yeah, I mean they're dangerous.
- 50:23Speaker 2: People are distracted, driving, distracted on.
- 50:25Speaker 3: The scooters and the bikes and just going really fast.
- 50:28Speaker 1: We I'm it all messed up, Like the e bikes
- 50:30Speaker 1: are now illegal on roads. So people spend all these
- 50:32Speaker 1: money on e bikes. And you got to have private land,
- 50:34Speaker 1: like people have private land to ride this stuff on, right,
- 50:36Speaker 1: So they're gonna do it anyway.
- 50:37Speaker 2: Yeah, just you gotta be safe absolutely. Uh, guys, check
- 50:41Speaker 2: your refrigerators.
- 50:42Speaker 3: Nearly thirty thousand pounds of raw beef from Argentina has
- 50:46Speaker 3: been recalled, so it's been pulled off.
- 50:48Speaker 2: The shelves at stores.
- 50:49Speaker 3: But apparently these products were imported without going through the
- 50:52Speaker 3: mandatory at federal inspections, so this meat was sent to
- 50:57Speaker 3: Texas and Florida. It has a use by data of
- 51:00Speaker 3: September fifteenth and twentieth. There's multiple different cuts of meat.
- 51:05Speaker 3: That are involved in this.
- 51:06Speaker 1: Remember fifteenth, Yeah, I think it would be bad by then.
- 51:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I would think so too, But they're not. I
- 51:13Speaker 3: guess they're not sure, like what's out there and what's not?
- 51:15Speaker 1: So beef is this? You know what I mean?
- 51:19Speaker 3: None of the cuts that I saw on the list
- 51:21Speaker 3: were anything that I ever buy, so I wasn't.
- 51:23Speaker 2: Too worried about it. But double check.
- 51:25Speaker 1: You know.
- 51:26Speaker 3: I had that scared this weekend where I thought, you know,
- 51:28Speaker 3: maybe I had made some meat that.
- 51:30Speaker 2: Was gone bad. Yeah, with that trash back next to.
- 51:33Speaker 1: Me, just in case you didn't get sick.
- 51:35Speaker 2: No, I didn't get sick.
- 51:36Speaker 1: But how does some meat last for a month.
- 51:38Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good question. Maybe someone put it back
- 51:40Speaker 2: in their freezer.
- 51:41Speaker 1: Oh it's frozen meat.
- 51:42Speaker 2: It could be. Yeah, you just got a check.
- 51:45Speaker 1: I want to know. I eat. All I eat is
- 51:46Speaker 1: like beef and watermelon.
- 51:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I know.
- 51:49Speaker 1: So I can't die, no guy.
- 51:53Speaker 3: CBS Sports has finally released a statement about Tony ROBO's
- 51:56Speaker 3: future as an NFL broadcaster with them. They say there's
- 51:59Speaker 3: no timetable or final decision at this time, but this
- 52:03Speaker 3: is an involving situation they are assessing and have to
- 52:06Speaker 3: consider the impact.
- 52:07Speaker 2: Of their image.
- 52:08Speaker 3: Of course, Tony was arrested three weeks ago in Wisconsin
- 52:11Speaker 3: for drunk driving. In the meantime, at JJ Watt will
- 52:15Speaker 3: replace him and then a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, Reyese Weaver.
- 52:19Speaker 2: Is headed to Broadway.
- 52:21Speaker 3: So she was one of the faves on the Netflix
- 52:23Speaker 3: show America's Sweethearts, and after three seasons with the DCC, she.
- 52:28Speaker 2: Announced her retirement.
- 52:29Speaker 3: But she's going to be making her Broadway debut during
- 52:31Speaker 3: a six week run in the show Chicago. She's going
- 52:35Speaker 3: to play roxy Heart starting September seventh.
- 52:37Speaker 2: She says, yeah, this has always been her dream.
- 52:40Speaker 3: She's like, I'd have just been happy to be a
- 52:41Speaker 3: tree in the background. That's but yeah, now she has
- 52:45Speaker 3: a major role. I didn't realize she went to performing
- 52:48Speaker 3: arts middle school and high school.
- 52:50Speaker 2: But really cool news from her yesterday.
- 52:52Speaker 1: Congratulations, it don't make fun of being the tree in
- 52:54Speaker 1: the background.
- 52:55Speaker 2: That's what you were Huh that was the tree?
- 52:57Speaker 1: What was that? I mean? Which which one?
- 53:02Speaker 9: No.
- 53:02Speaker 1: Once I got to like fifth grade, I started, I
- 53:04Speaker 1: upgraded to the bush. I got closer to the front. Okay, yeah,
- 53:09Speaker 1: so I mean one thing at a time, I was
- 53:10Speaker 1: working my way up.
- 53:11Speaker 2: Yeah, good, I like that.
- 53:13Speaker 3: Congrats Reese, you and Billy have something in all right.
- 53:17Speaker 3: I'm can of slow Pez. Those are your Texas Top stories.
- 53:22Speaker 9: Mix one O two point nine.
- 53:24Speaker 2: Oh that's a hot tae.
- 53:25Speaker 7: Let us know what you think.
- 53:27Speaker 9: Here's today's hot tape.
- 53:28Speaker 1: Hopefully you're having a good morning. It's mixed one O
- 53:30Speaker 1: two point nine. My name is Billy Kid Canda slow Pez.
- 53:32Speaker 1: She's here with their stinky eggs. Who is here? It's okay,
- 53:36Speaker 1: now listen, your hard boiled eggs are fine.
- 53:38Speaker 9: Thanks.
- 53:39Speaker 1: You gotta eat. You gotta eat healthy.
- 53:41Speaker 2: They're fresh.
- 53:42Speaker 1: Yeah, they're very fresh. I don't know fresher they are
- 53:45Speaker 1: the stinkier.
- 53:46Speaker 2: They are, that's true.
- 53:47Speaker 1: That's the hot take of the day. No hot take
- 53:49Speaker 1: of the day is this story that I saw go
- 53:51Speaker 1: viral that I was laughing at because it's so funny
- 53:53Speaker 1: to me. So this couple they go out to eat.
- 53:56Speaker 1: They're at some restaurants in LA and they walk up
- 53:58Speaker 1: and I don't even know if this place is fancy
- 54:00Speaker 1: or whatever. They wouldn't let the guy in. And they
- 54:04Speaker 1: wouldn't let him in because he had a sleeveless shirt on,
- 54:08Speaker 1: which is not unreasonable if you're at a restaurant. I mean,
- 54:11Speaker 1: it's if you're at a chain restaurant, you're like Chili's
- 54:13Speaker 1: or whatever. They don't care, even though to me, I
- 54:15Speaker 1: think Chili's is incredible and it's fancy.
- 54:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I enjoy the chilies, of course you do.
- 54:20Speaker 1: You enjoy a good triple dipper and eating it. Sleeveless
- 54:22Speaker 1: HiT's different. Yea. Some restaurants frown upon sleeveless shirts. So
- 54:28Speaker 1: they go up to the restaurant. They're like, hey, you know,
- 54:30Speaker 1: just a table for two, and they're like, oh, sorry,
- 54:32Speaker 1: we can't let you in because, sir, you have a
- 54:34Speaker 1: sleeveless shirt on. So they're like, oh, okay, well I
- 54:39Speaker 1: guess we'll leave. So then they get to the parking
- 54:41Speaker 1: lot and they're like, wait a minute, let's switch shirts.
- 54:44Speaker 2: Oh wow.
- 54:46Speaker 1: So the guy looks at the girl. His girlfriend is like,
- 54:49Speaker 1: I'm you know what, you have a regular T shirt.
- 54:52Speaker 1: You have like a shirt on, but it's got sleeves.
- 54:56Speaker 1: You wear mine, I'll wear yours. Let's go in and eat,
- 54:59Speaker 1: which I think this is hysterical.
- 55:01Speaker 2: It is.
- 55:01Speaker 1: So they get to the car, they squitch shirts. They
- 55:03Speaker 1: walk back up to the restaurant. In the restaurant is like,
- 55:07Speaker 1: come on in Wow.
- 55:10Speaker 2: Okay.
- 55:10Speaker 1: So the guy goes online and he goes off about
- 55:13Speaker 1: the double standard when it comes to men and women
- 55:16Speaker 1: in the way we dress, and how ladies can wear
- 55:19Speaker 1: anything and get away with it, and blah blah blah.
- 55:22Speaker 1: And the funniest part about this story is is the
- 55:24Speaker 1: shirt that he put on is a woman's blouse with
- 55:26Speaker 1: puffy sleeves.
- 55:27Speaker 2: No funny.
- 55:30Speaker 1: So it's hysterical. But I'm thinking to myself, there is
- 55:33Speaker 1: obviously a double standard when it comes to the way
- 55:37Speaker 1: men and women dress, but the restaurants have every right
- 55:39Speaker 1: to dictate what they want, sure, and I pretty much
- 55:42Speaker 1: know that I'm not going to show up to a
- 55:43Speaker 1: decent place. But the funniest part about this is, to me,
- 55:46Speaker 1: it reminds me of what I did back in the
- 55:48Speaker 1: day when I was a kid in middle school. I thought,
- 55:51Speaker 1: like young Billy was, I don't know, I was some
- 55:53Speaker 1: kind of revolutionary. Yeah, So in middle school I thought
- 56:00Speaker 1: and I thought this was the biggest thing to ever
- 56:03Speaker 1: hit schools ever where I thought it was the biggest
- 56:06Speaker 1: double standard ever. The girls in my school could wear
- 56:11Speaker 1: shorts all year round, oh boys could not.
- 56:16Speaker 2: You're kidding.
- 56:17Speaker 1: We could not be, especially because you know, I grew
- 56:19Speaker 1: up in Michigan where it was you know, it was cold. Yeah,
- 56:23Speaker 1: so they tried to They dictated when you could start
- 56:26Speaker 1: wearing shorts, like let's say, you know, March tenth, okay,
- 56:30Speaker 1: and then but women, you know, girls could wear it
- 56:32Speaker 1: no matter what.
- 56:33Speaker 2: There was a hard date or are you just saying.
- 56:36Speaker 1: There was a hard date after spring break?
- 56:38Speaker 2: You can wear shorts boys.
- 56:39Speaker 1: Right, which was always so weird to me. Why, I
- 56:43Speaker 1: don't know. So I got I was running for class
- 56:46Speaker 1: president or something, okay, and I'm like, you know what
- 56:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna do. I try to set up a meeting
- 56:51Speaker 1: with the principal about it. Young Billy thought he was
- 56:54Speaker 1: all that. I don't know what was going on.
- 56:56Speaker 2: You wonder why writer is so self sufficient?
- 57:02Speaker 1: Yeah, my son is like that. Yeah, So I thought
- 57:04Speaker 1: it was ridiculous. So I'm like, you know, I'm going
- 57:07Speaker 1: to everyone at lunch, I'm handing out flyers and I'm
- 57:09Speaker 1: staging a walk out. No, I'm staging a walkout over this, wow,
- 57:14Speaker 1: because it's ridiculous and it's a double standard and it's sexist.
- 57:18Speaker 1: And I was in eighth grade and I'll never forget it.
- 57:20Speaker 1: And everyone's like, you're right, Billy, You're right.
- 57:23Speaker 2: Yeah, you are right.
- 57:24Speaker 5: Actually, oh Martin Luther, Billy, yeah, behind you.
- 57:29Speaker 1: So everyone at lunch is like, yeah, you know what,
- 57:32Speaker 1: let's go. You're right. When are we doing this? I'm like,
- 57:34Speaker 1: we're gonna do it six period, right before the sixth period,
- 57:37Speaker 1: last period of school. We're all getting up and we're
- 57:39Speaker 1: walking out. Yeah, they're like, yeah, I'm passing out the flyers.
- 57:43Speaker 1: Everyone is hype. So I have it down to the
- 57:45Speaker 1: minute where we're going to walk out. I walk out
- 57:48Speaker 1: of the classroom, I look behind me, and I'm like,
- 57:51Speaker 1: let's get hello, Wait, what are y'all coming.
- 57:57Speaker 2: Yourself?
- 57:59Speaker 1: No one walked down. I was the only one to
- 58:04Speaker 1: walk out of class except one person. My friend Jeremy
- 58:08Speaker 1: walked out with me. He's like, let's go something. Once
- 58:12Speaker 1: I get out in the hallways, there's gonna be other
- 58:14Speaker 1: kids out of their rally. Everybody was hype at lunch,
- 58:19Speaker 1: not one, not one. And guess who got is s
- 58:28Speaker 1: Jeremy and I for walking for walking out of school?
- 58:33Speaker 1: You say that, but you're the same girl at lunch
- 58:35Speaker 1: you said that. I know, Candas you wouldn't have walked out.
- 58:38Speaker 1: I would would have walked out with me. I would
- 58:40Speaker 1: have walked out with you. Was so embarrassed and so
- 58:45Speaker 1: mad at everyone in my school. I went to lunch
- 58:47Speaker 1: the next day. I was like, I can't believe you'all
- 58:49Speaker 1: are like, dude, we can't afford to get in trouble.
- 58:51Speaker 1: I'm not going to say that at lunch because now
- 58:53Speaker 1: me Jeremy is suspended for the next two days. And
- 58:57Speaker 1: the worst part is we're wearing pants. You know, I
- 59:01Speaker 1: love a good list. It's mixed one on two point
- 59:03Speaker 1: nine a Bility kid Candice Lopez, producer Pooh this list.
- 59:05Speaker 1: People are sharing online of celebrities that were surprisingly rude
- 59:09Speaker 1: in real life. Surprised that before we get to it, though,
- 59:12Speaker 1: Judy wanted to say something ahead, Judy, what's up?
- 59:14Speaker 11: I'm doing you well? I can fine this morning because
- 59:17Speaker 11: my grandson's a singer. And I'm very proud of all
- 59:20Speaker 11: the parents, but I'm very more proud of all the
- 59:23Speaker 11: grandparents nowadays that we have to raise our grandchildren.
- 59:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean shout out to all the grandparents. Yes,
- 59:29Speaker 1: you're absolutely right. Grandparents do so much.
- 59:32Speaker 11: Yes we do. I raised my grandsons since he was
- 59:35Speaker 11: seven months old, and I wouldn't change you for the world.
- 59:38Speaker 1: Oh that's very sweet. Good for you, and he's so
- 59:41Speaker 1: lucky to have you. And well, thank you what's his name?
- 59:44Speaker 1: Thank you for calling Judy. That's so nice. And shout
- 59:47Speaker 1: out to you.
- 59:48Speaker 11: You're welcome. And I love y'all still, and thank y'all
- 59:50Speaker 11: for making me laugh every morning.
- 59:52Speaker 1: I love you, Jude, we love you. Thank you for listening.
- 59:55Speaker 1: Shout out to all the grandparents.
- 59:56Speaker 4: Love.
- 59:56Speaker 1: I know, I can't believe I just got pictures of
- 59:59Speaker 1: my son walking Intohigh school for the first time. I
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: almost tear it up. I almost. I did tear up
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: a little bit. Yeah, but I'm only together. It's just
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: it's tough watching these kids grow up.
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: It's so hard.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: So quick, let's do some mean let's get mean celebrities
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: like that. I usually keep it positive. Yeah, yeah, I
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: don't like talking about celebrities sometimes because you know, maybe
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: somebody just had it off day, total experience, one encounter,
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: and you don't even know if these people are telling
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: the truth. So let me just say that some of
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: these are very specific though. So let's get into this list.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Number one on the list and on this thread that
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: popped up multiple times. Ariana Grande.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: Oh okay, yeah, we.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: All can believe it. Yeah yeah, this person says she
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: yelled at my brother while he was a custodian at
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: Disney Disney. I've had a couple encounters with her and
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: she's been nice, and then one time, I maybe not
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: the nicest, but I didn't take it as rude. I
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: just took it as she's having a busy day.
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: It's really hard to get inside the head of a
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: performer entertainer because there's a lot going on in there.
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: People have anxiety about their performance and what they're going
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: to do that you don't see.
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: But after multiple times hanging out with certain people, you
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: kind of catch it.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: And I don't have to ask you because I feel
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: like you just already told me the vibe. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: you're right. So I try to give celebrities the benefit
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: of the doubt. They always say, don't meet your heroes. Yeah,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: that's true, because you're going to be disappointed. This one
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: an actor, Morgan Freeman. Oh oh, really is on the list. Yeah,
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: this girl said, my brother in law served him popcorn
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: at our local movie theater. He attempted to compliment Morgan,
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: to which Morgan replied, butter my damn popcorn.
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: Oh wow, he kind of does have that cold sense
- 1:01:47Speaker 3: of humor though, right. You know, I could see him
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: saying that but not being rude.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: Butter my damn pop I bet it sounded cool when
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: he said it to Yeah, yeah, he does. Next on
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: the list of meanest celebrity encounters. This girl. Oh, I
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: love her too. I hope this is not true. Millie
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: Bobby Brown. Okay, someone said paid three hundred dollars to
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: meet her at a meet and greet. She said hello
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: to the person in front of me and behind me,
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: didn't look at me or speak to me.
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: Oh, was that like a con Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: It's like fan convention.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Well, they do those. They do the like meat greet,
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: like you can pay for Ariana Grande meet and greets,
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: and you know, the experience is never what I think
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: people are expecting because it's like you're in and out.
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: Oh.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: I don't like this one because I think she's so
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: sweet and I've had multiple encounters and she's been awesome.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: Every time somebody said Taylor Swift was mean. No, there's
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: no way, Okay, there's no way. Yeah, she is every
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: time I've seen her with fans. She's over the top
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: nice yep. This person said she rolled her eyes at
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: me during a meet and greet in two thousand and nine.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: No way, I don't believe it.
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: No, I don't either.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: What about this one? Carrie Underwood, Okay that one?
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: Go ahead with this one?
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Really? Yeah, I've never met her, this person says. Anyone
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: that's worked backstage at the Grand Ole Opry can confirm
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: this one. Oh she's mean. Okay, can this Am I
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: getting a little gossip from you?
- 1:03:14Speaker 9: No?
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: I just wanted to hear what they had to say.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Did you have an encounter?
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: I've had encounters.
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: Yeah, who would you rather have an encounter with?
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: I mean, I've interviewed so many a list celebrities like
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: throughout my time in radio and TV.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: Carrie Underwit ariana grond.
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: Arian. Wow with her?
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: Okay? Yeah, this one last one? Second to last, Nick Jonas,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: somebody said it is me. I don't know. He's just quiet.
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: Yeah, he keeps to himself, but that can come off
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: as me.
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: And this person said he disregarded me and my cousin
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: had his meet and greet. But he's just a quiet dude.
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: He is surprisingly Yeah, I've been on flights with him before,
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: I've interviewed him and been on sets with him a
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: ton of times.
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: Nice, but yeah, he kind of just keeps to himself.
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: Once you get to know him, he's actually a very
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: he'll get out of his shell. But even celebrities are
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: real people too.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: They are people forget.
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: And the last one, I totally believe. I've never met her,
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: but I can definitely see this happening. Chapel roone.
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: Okay, never met her, never encountered her.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: Somebody said she came into my workplace. I worked at
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: a smoothie shop and she was mean to me both times,
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: very rude and didn't tip. Oh yeah, we're not coming
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: to your pink Pony club, then how about that? You
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: big Meani dance.
- 1:04:34Speaker 7: Tough stories on the tents with Billy the Kid in
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: the morning.
- 1:04:37Speaker 8: Only on the New Mix one or two point nine.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: A lot going on this morning, Candice Lofez, what's up?
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: Yeah, Well, even though we don't have a heat advisory today,
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: it is still going to be around one hundred degrees
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: when you're in that pickup line after school. I guess
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: the humidity is a little lower today, so that's nice.
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: We should also give a shout out to Lancaster ID
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: starting back today. They have one hundred percent graduation rate
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: that they are hoping to to maintain.
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: This school year.
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: I just saw some of them, like band and cheerleaders
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: outside welcoming everyone into school a little while ago.
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: One hundred percent.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: Yeah, one hundred.
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: Percent graduation rate. I wonder how many years in a
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: row they've had that, or if last year was the
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: first year.
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: But good for them.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, that's a that's a huge accomplishment. I
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: know my high school didn't. Yeah.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: No, Urts didn't either.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: I mean, I'm thinking about it now. We had probably
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: a fifty percent dropout rate.
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: Really, it was.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: The struggle is real.
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: So yeah, well, good luck to everybody back at school.
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: Back in the pickup line this afternoon. You're gonna be
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: sitting there with your car running with the ac on.
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: Here's something I haven't seen before, guys. The University of
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: Michigan is moving away from a letter grading system for
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: first semester freshmen in their College of Literature, Science and Arts.
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: So they're now just going to give you a pass
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: or no credit.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: No, like ABC, are we.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: Getting too soft?
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: I mean, people are wondering since I.
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: Mean, I know that at some point you have to
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: be accommodating to kids, especially freshmen young adults. These aren't kids, right,
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: But you're paying to me, you're right, you're paying for
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: an education. You get a grade. To me, I'm sorry,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: you get a great it's part of school. We've all
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: dealt with it. Now what Now we're gonna play sports
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: to not win a championship because that's hurtful, right, are
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: just gonna play for all participation awards?
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean they're saying this idea behind this is
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: to ease the transition to college level courses, you know,
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: reduce freshman stress and yeah, help overall mental health.
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: But I don't think my A or d A or
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: C mattered. You know, I just wanted to pass, get
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: the credit and move on.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: You didn't want that F and that F will make
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: you work harder anyway.
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: Yeah, because you're gonna pay for it.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: That right, and you're paying for school. And I think
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: it's a system where it's like you sometimes stress is good. Yeah,
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: it's preparing you for real life because when you get
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: to the workplace, they're not gonna be like, Okay, it
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: doesn't matter how you perform, You're not gonna give you
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: a grade. You're either gonna do it good or you're
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: not gonna do it at all. Right, I want to
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: know how I'm doing.
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: I think we have other mental health issues exactly rating
- 1:07:00Speaker 3: system personally. This couple in California is going viral for
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: their wedding pictures this morning.
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: They just came out. I guess they were.
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: Taking pictures in Mammoth Lakes there right by the water,
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: and right in the background you just see Chaboozy floating
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: by it.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: I love this video, right, It's so funny because you
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: just see this formal wedding and then Chaboozi's just boozing
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: it up in the background.
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: Yeah, so he was tubing there, I guess with a
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: group for something called the Wooly Run. They do like
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: outdoorsy stuff in motorsports. They had been camping nearby. I
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: guess it was like a three day camping trip.
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: They were on. But yeah, he's just back there living
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: his best life.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Well they are too good for him.
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: Yeah, what a fun photo.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: I think it's funny that Chaboozi floats the river because
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: you know, I just can't picture celebrities doing that. Really No,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: I can't. I don't know why. And I've never floated
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: the river.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: You have it? Not even in Texas?
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: No?
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: Oh, it's so fun.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: Haven't either? Terrifying to me?
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: You haven't either?
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: Pool? No? Wow, never dawn down there and just kicked it,
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: but I never.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: Oh it's so fun.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: I'm so scared of doing it. Why because I just
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: don't know what's going to touch my legs.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: Okay, well, just stay in your float.
- 1:08:07Speaker 3: I mean I did fall asleep in my interview once
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: and then I just woke up because I.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: Just ran into a tree.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: Falling asleep is a weird way of putting that, because
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: I have a feeling you passed out, But anyway.
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: I fell asleep. Sure, let's talk about this celebrity real quick.
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: Who is getting into music? Do you want to hear
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: it first? You guys know who it is by now.
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: But for anyone.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: Listening, okay, plate take a guess. You can guess if
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: you're listening those mountains.
- 1:08:34Speaker 9: Sail across the for sure.
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: He released the song for his three daughters. It's called
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: Your Dad.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: It's sweet, it.
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: Is very sweet, and it is the rock the rock.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: Did you guess that? Yeah?
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: He co wrote the song for a Moana companion album
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: in twenty twenty three with the guy who won American
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: Idol that season. But yeah, it's starting to circulate the internet.
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: The video is sweet because there's like baby pig sure
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: of his girls.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: It's sweet. Who is making fun of you? Exact now?
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: Who off the air said after this his daughters asked
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: to be put up for adoptions. That's what he said.
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: No, they did it, all right. I'm Candaslopez. Those are
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: your Texas top stories.
- 1:09:17Speaker 9: This is dirty little secret.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: Nixed one or two point nine. Here we go. If
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: you have a confession, bring it anytime you want. Just
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: confess to us and share that secret. Go ahead.
- 1:09:30Speaker 10: So I have a confession. I'm absolutely mortified by the situation.
- 1:09:36Speaker 10: My daughter is in elementary school. I'm not going to
- 1:09:39Speaker 10: say which one last year I was, you know that mom.
- 1:09:43Speaker 10: I was volunteered for everything. I was doing field days, carnivals, fundraisers,
- 1:09:48Speaker 10: class parties, anything they needed. I was the one they called, right.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:09:53Speaker 10: Somewhere along the way, I met my daughter's pe teacher
- 1:09:59Speaker 10: and I developed like the hugest like girl, like schoolgirl
- 1:10:03Speaker 10: style crash, you.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: Know, okay, all right with it?
- 1:10:08Speaker 10: That man is ridiculously good looking. But even more than that,
- 1:10:13Speaker 10: he's just genuinely a nice guy. He's really great with kids,
- 1:10:17Speaker 10: and he's always smiling, always friendly. I never knew he
- 1:10:21Speaker 10: was actually single or not, because we barely talked, honestly,
- 1:10:24Speaker 10: but I thought that he might flirt with me a
- 1:10:27Speaker 10: little bit here and there. But now that I look
- 1:10:30Speaker 10: back on it, maybe maybe just being nice. Okay, flirting
- 1:10:35Speaker 10: with me.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: There's a fine line.
- 1:10:37Speaker 10: Yeah, Well, and that's what actually makes everything even more embarrassing.
- 1:10:40Speaker 10: For the meat of the thing, I'm divorced and a
- 1:10:44Speaker 10: few weeks ago my ex had my daughter over at
- 1:10:48Speaker 10: his place for the weekend and I met some friends
- 1:10:50Speaker 10: for food drinks, and let's just say those day drinks
- 1:10:53Speaker 10: turned into like all day slash night drink.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: Yeah. Nothing good happens when you start day drinking. That
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: day drinking makes you do things you've never done before.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: So now I'm really nervous. So what did you do?
- 1:11:06Speaker 10: Well, apparently drunk me decided that she was going to
- 1:11:10Speaker 10: shoot her shot with the pe teacher, and I had
- 1:11:14Speaker 10: his email still from like one of those school email
- 1:11:17Speaker 10: chain things about an event. Well, I looked him up
- 1:11:21Speaker 10: specifically and found it and I emailed him, Oh I
- 1:11:25Speaker 10: barely remember.
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: You you drunk? Emailed him?
- 1:11:31Speaker 5: Yeah, what what did you say?
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: This is awful?
- 1:11:37Speaker 10: I was really bad. So I did see it the
- 1:11:39Speaker 10: next morning because like I remembered it like midway through
- 1:11:42Speaker 10: the night when I woke up, like you know when
- 1:11:44Speaker 10: you wake up when it wears off a little bit.
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: Oh.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: So at first you're like, I just dreamed that, right right,
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: I was like, this is real.
- 1:11:51Speaker 10: No, that can't that can't.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: No, No, Then it was real.
- 1:11:56Speaker 10: Next morning I see that I sent an email and
- 1:11:59Speaker 10: I like started shaking.
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: Oh god, what did it say?
- 1:12:03Speaker 10: I saw his email name and I was like, oh no,
- 1:12:05Speaker 10: I actually did it. So I basically wanted to eat
- 1:12:09Speaker 10: my phone into the lake. It said, sorry, I'm cringing still.
- 1:12:16Speaker 10: It's like I'm shaking just thinking about it. It said,
- 1:12:20Speaker 10: I think you're extremely attractive. If you're not seeing anyone,
- 1:12:23Speaker 10: we should absolutely grab drinks or dinner because I promise
- 1:12:27Speaker 10: you'll have a good time.
- 1:12:28Speaker 6: Oh whoa wow, Wow, all out on the table.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: We should go grab drinks. The only part that's like, Okay,
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: what does that mean is I guarantee you'll have a
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: good time.
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: Yeah, So what you're saying what you're.
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: Saying, Mom, I mean, okay, that's not so you're saying
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: that's not something you would normally write.
- 1:12:51Speaker 10: No, not at least not sober.
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: Okay, I'm not so bold.
- 1:12:57Speaker 10: I know it seems like I've got a personality, but
- 1:12:59Speaker 10: I'm really shy in person. Oh yeah, I couldn't make
- 1:13:02Speaker 10: icon type.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: Okay, So here's what I'm wanting. I'm dying to know.
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: Did you get a response?
- 1:13:08Speaker 10: No, he didn't even reply at all. There was not
- 1:13:17Speaker 10: even like a flattered but no or like oh wow, married,
- 1:13:21Speaker 10: just silence, crickets. And so I think for some reason,
- 1:13:24Speaker 10: I'm freaking out more because that's actually worse. Yeah, I'm
- 1:13:30Speaker 10: not going to be that mom anymore. I can't show there.
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: Oh no, you're right, I mean right, almost getting no
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: response is worse than a response because that now you
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: don't even know where his head's.
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: At, right, And maybe he didn't get it. Maybe you
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: made a typo can, maybe it was Gmail.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: And maybe it went toad. Yeah, these are all the
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: things that you'll you'll never know, and you'll have to
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: wonder until you see him. And you know what, he
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: might never say anything about it. He might pretend he never.
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: Saw it, but he did right because he doesn't know
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: what to do.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: Like that happened to me. That happened to me once
