- 2:03Back to you, Alex. Are you ready, Wisher?
- 2:05I'm ready, Alex. The answer is Jesus.
- 2:10Who's Jesus? I'm sorry, we're looking for who
- 2:15is God's son or who is the best gift anyone could ever receive.
- 2:20Wisher, you didn't win the big one, but you did win $1000.
- 2:24That should buy you a lot of toys.
- 2:27You're welcome to come back and play again anytime.
- 2:30I'd love to come back sometime Alex, but first I need to learn
- 2:33more about this Jesus. Jay, what can you tell us?
- 2:36John 316 says For God so loved the world that he gave his only
- 2:41begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not
- 2:44perish, but have everlasting life.
- 2:46So Jesus is God's Son and he's the best gift anyone could ever
- 2:49receive. How can I receive him?
- 2:52Jay. Romans 10/9 says if you openly
- 2:56declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God
- 3:00raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
- 3:03Will you help me pray, Alex? Absolutely.
- 3:05If you in the studio audience would like to receive Jesus as
- 3:08your Savior, you can pray with Wisher and me right now, dear
- 3:12God. Dear God.
- 3:13Thank you for loving me. Thank you for loving me.
- 3:16And sending Jesus. And sending Jesus.
- 3:18To die on the cross for my sins. To die on the cross for my sins.
- 3:22Jesus, I believe you rose from the dead.
- 3:24Jesus, I believe you rose from the dead.
- 3:26And you are alive today. And you are alive today.
- 3:30Jesus, I receive you. Jesus, I receive.
- 3:33As my Savior and my Lord. As my Savior and my Lord.
- 3:37In Jesus name, Amen. In Jesus name, Amen.
- 3:44Boys and girls, we'll see you next time on Final Jeopardy.
- 3:52Hello and welcome to the Game show.
- 3:54What do you feed it? Please welcome our host, Luke
- 3:58Morton. Schuster, thanks for.
- 4:01Joining us today, our first contestant is an auto mechanic
- 4:05extraordinaire from Detroit, MI Please welcome Harvey Carman.
- 4:16Harvey, this card says you've only been fixing car engines for
- 4:19two weeks. I hope you know enough to answer
- 4:22my questions. Don't you wear none blink I
- 4:25become what we call it in the fix it business, a master
- 4:28mechanic if. You say so, Harvey.
- 4:31If you can answer this question correctly, you'll be the winner
- 4:34of a new car. Ask away.
- 4:37Blink. What do you feed a car engine?
- 4:41Oh blink. Everybody knows car engines
- 4:44don't eat, but if I was going to feed it something, I guess I'd
- 4:50feed it French fries and a Coke. No, I'm sorry.
- 4:55The answer we were looking for was gasoline and oil.
- 4:58Gasoline and oil. Harvey, I'm surprised you didn't
- 5:03get that. French fries and Coke would ruin
- 5:05a car engine. That engine would die.
- 5:08It would. I mean it would.
- 5:11I'm going to keep a close eye on my car engine so that no one
- 5:13puts any French fries or coke in it.
- 5:16That's a good idea, Harvey. That reminds me of a verse in
- 5:19the Bible. Harvey, keep your heart with all
- 5:22diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.
- 5:25Proverbs 423 You must guard your heart to protect your faith.
- 5:30I don't want to get my faith hurt.
- 5:32I better do what Proverbs 423 says.
- 5:39Paula Planter is a gardening expert from the beautiful
- 5:43Hawaiian Islands. Let's welcome Paula Planter.
- 5:51Thank you. Paula Planter How long have you
- 5:55been gardening? I just started yesterday.
- 5:59I haven't actually planted anything yet, but I have pulled
- 6:04a few weeds. Well, Paula, if you can answer
- 6:07this question correctly, you will win a greenhouse addition
- 6:11to your home. Oh, I would love to have a
- 6:15greenhouse. You can grow all kinds of
- 6:19flowers in a greenhouse. What's the question, Blink?
- 6:24What do you feed a rose Bush? Oh blink.
- 6:28Everyone knows rose bushes don't eat.
- 6:31But if I was going to feed my rose Bush something, I suppose I
- 6:36would feed it a hamburger and milkshake.
- 6:42No, I'm sorry. The answer we were looking for
- 6:45was water and fertilizer. Water and fertilizer, Paula.
- 6:50A hamburger and milkshake would probably kill that rose Bush.
- 6:54It would. Oh, I mean it would.
- 6:58I'm going to keep a close eye on my rose Bush so no one puts any
- 7:05hamburgers or milkshakes on it. That's a good idea, Paula, that
- 7:10reminds it's me of a verse in the Bible.
- 7:13Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring
- 7:16the issues of life. Proverbs 423.
- 7:20You must guard your heart to protect your faith.
- 7:23I don't want my faith to get hurt either.
- 7:27I'd better do what Proverbs 423 says.
- 7:34Our next contestant is a homemaker from Toledo, OH.
- 7:37She has 17 children, making her an expert at child raising.
- 7:41Please welcome Ditzy Airhead. Blink, I think.
- 7:52Hey, that rhymes. I think there must be a mistake.
- 7:56I don't have 17 children, that's how many I'd like to have.
- 8:00Okay, Mom, sorry about that. How many children do you have?
- 8:04None. I'm not even married yet, but I
- 8:07am looking. Well, any guys out there wanting
- 8:1017 children? Here's your chance, Ditzy.
- 8:13I'm sure you know how to play our game.
- 8:16Yes, I've been watching backstage.
- 8:18I am a little confused but I think I know how to play.
- 8:22OK Ditzy, answer this question correctly and you'll win an 18
- 8:26bedroom house with a lifetime supply of diapers.
- 8:29Here's the question. What do you feed a little boy or
- 8:33girl? Gasoline and oil.
- 8:40No. Water and fertilizer.
- 8:44No. Now I'm really confused.
- 8:48I'm sorry, did see the answer we were looking for was French
- 8:51fries and coke or hamburger and milkshake.
- 8:54Wow, I guess Harvey and Paula should have had my question.
- 8:59Don't you realize that feeding a child gasoline, oil or
- 9:03fertilizer would kill your child?
- 9:05It would. I mean, it would.
- 9:09I'm going to keep a close eye on my children when I get some so
- 9:13that nobody feeds them gasoline, oil or fertilizer.
- 9:17That's a good idea, Ditzy. That reminds me of a verse in
- 9:21the Bible. Keep your heart with all
- 9:23diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.
- 9:26Proverbs 423 You must guard your heart to protect your faith.
- 9:31I don't want my faith to get hurt either.
- 9:34I better do what Proverbs 423 says.
- 9:40I'm Blake Wharton Schuster, thanks for watching.
- 9:42What do you feed it? Welcome to the real life game
- 9:51show. You have wisdom.
- 9:54Obeying and honoring God is the beginning of wisdom.
- 9:58Do our contestants really obey and honor God's Word?
- 10:01We'll find out what the judges think.
- 10:04And now here's your host. Pete's sake.
- 10:11Hello everyone, Hello contestants.
- 10:13Pete, our first contestant today is Kristen.
- 10:17Kristen. Are you really?
- 10:19Pete say. Yes, I am Kristen.
- 10:21Here's what we learned about you.
- 10:23You stole lipstick from the drugstore because your friends
- 10:26talked you into it. I felt so bad about that.
- 10:29I would never have done it, but my friends made me.
- 10:32You also cut school with your girlfriend and went to the beach
- 10:35instead. Well.
- 10:37I think it's because I think school should be only three
- 10:40months and summer vacations it should be 9 months.
- 10:44After all, they don't teach us that much stuff at school
- 10:47anyways. You act like a good Christian
- 10:49when you are with your church friends, but you act completely
- 10:53different when you are around your school friends.
- 10:57Well, you see, I want everyone to like me.
- 11:00Kristen, the judges say you are not obeying and honoring God's
- 11:06Word. Who cares what the judges think?
- 11:10How dare they tell me I have a log in my eye when they have a
- 11:13speck in theirs. Just so you know, I keep my
- 11:15Bible under my pillow. Instead of sleeping on your
- 11:18Bible, maybe you should read it so you can have God's wisdom.
- 11:22You're not the judge, you're just the game show host.
- 11:25Goodbye. Our next contestant is Andy.
- 11:30Are you ready, Andy? Yes.
- 11:32Sir Mr. Pete's. Sake, I'm going to briefly recap
- 11:35for our audience what we found out about you.
- 11:39You are a student at Highland Middle School.
- 11:41That's right. You woke your family one morning
- 11:44yelling as loudly as possible because you hurt your foot on a
- 11:47toy truck your younger brother left out.
- 11:50That hurt. You often skip praying at lunch
- 11:53because there are other kids around.
- 11:55Well, I. Don't want them to.
- 11:56Laugh at me. You complained and griped and
- 11:58cried to your mom last week because you thought I thought
- 12:01the job she assigned you was going to take more time than the
- 12:04job your brothers and sisters were given.
- 12:06Yeah, you know. It's just not.
- 12:08Fair. And lastly, you were given too
- 12:11much change at the convenience store, but you didn't take the
- 12:14time to return it. Well, I was already out the door
- 12:17almost to my. Mom's car.
- 12:19Andy, the judges votes are in. You are not obeying and honoring
- 12:25God's Word. What?
- 12:28Do I need? To do.
- 12:29You need to do what the Bible teaches.
- 12:31God's Word teaches us to love others the way God loves us.
- 12:35Gifts I should. Read the Bible more.
- 12:37That's a good idea, Andy. Well, Pete, we have one
- 12:41contestant left. Please welcome Paisley.
- 12:45Paisley. Come on over here.
- 12:48Thank you, Mr. Sake. Paisley, here's what we know
- 12:51about you. You gave 10 sheets of notebook
- 12:53paper to a friend instead of the two she asked for to study the
- 12:57Bible and pray almost every day. It took time to talk to Logan
- 13:02after school because he looked sad.
- 13:04You offered to clear the table and load the dishwasher so your
- 13:07sister wouldn't be late to her piano lesson.
- 13:10Paisley, the judges say you have wisdom.
- 13:18Congratulations Paisley, you've been faithful over little and
- 13:21God will make you ruler over much.
- 13:24Thank you Sir, I just love obeying and honoring God because
- 13:27God is. Awesome.
- 13:29Proverbs 910 says that worshiping God and regarding Him
- 13:33as truly awesome is the beginning of wisdom.
- 13:36Stay faithful to obey God's word, even in little things.
- 13:41If you won't do it for yourself, do it anyway and tell them
- 13:45you're doing it for Pete's sake. Who knows, you may end up a
- 13:49winner on you. Have wisdom.
- 13:54Mr's sake. Can I say something?
- 13:57Sure, Paisley, what is it? What the announcer said about
- 14:00doing it for Pete's sake was very clever, but God's wisdom
- 14:04teaches us to do everything for Jesus sake, you know, to bring
- 14:08honor to Him. Wow kid, you really do have
- 14:11wisdom. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and
- 14:20girls, welcome to the Favor game, where God's favor puts you
- 14:25on top. I'm your host, Frankie Favor.
- 14:28Now, let's meet our contestants. He's a student from urban
- 14:31Alabama. He likes football, race cars and
- 14:34mashing Greenpeace. Please welcome Jack.
- 14:38Thank you. She's a student from Montgomery,
- 14:42TX. She likes sugar and spice and
- 14:45everything nice, including pink furry feet on her teddy bear.
- 14:48Please welcome Junie. We'd like to welcome both of you
- 14:55to the favor game. Both of you made Jesus your
- 14:59Lord, and that's why you're here.
- 15:01You have been made righteous through Jesus Christ.
- 15:04For you, O Lord, will bless the righteous with favor.
- 15:08You will surround him as with His shield.
- 15:10Psalm 52. The favor of God surrounds us as
- 15:13we trust in His Word. Check it out in John 15, five,
- 15:17and seven. Are you ready, Jack?
- 15:21I'll start with you. What would you do if your
- 15:23parents asked you to do something that you didn't want
- 15:26to do? Well, to be honest, Frankie, I
- 15:29probably complain a lot at first, but I go ahead and do it
- 15:33because if I don't, they'll spank me.
- 15:35And what about you, Junie? Well, Frankie, I would probably
- 15:39complain at first too, but then I'd remember God's word that
- 15:42says to obey your parents for it's the right thing to do, and
- 15:46to honor them so that everything will go well for me.
- 15:49So then I'd apologize for complaining and do what they
- 15:52told me to do as if I were doing it for God.
- 15:55Good answer, Junie, and because you trust in God's Word, life
- 15:59will go well with you and you will have a long good life.
- 16:03Hey Frankie, what about me? I obeyed my parents too.
- 16:07We are blessed when we have faith in God's Word and when we
- 16:10have faith in God's Word, we will do what God's Word says.
- 16:14That's it for Round 1. Jack Junie will take a short
- 16:17break. Remember, God's favor puts you
- 16:19on top. Welcome back to the favor game
- 16:26where God's favor puts you on top.
- 16:28I'm your host, Frankie. Favor for you, O Lord will bless
- 16:32the righteous with favor. You will surround him as with a
- 16:35shield. Psalm 52, time to start round
- 16:37two. Contestants, Are you ready?
- 16:40Ready. Jack, you have.
- 16:42A test tomorrow and you need to study, but you want to watch TV.
- 16:46What do you do? Well, Frankie.
- 16:48I usually watch TV first, then study right before I go to
- 16:52sleep. I usually don't finish studying
- 16:55because I fall asleep, but I still do OK on the test.
- 16:59You know, AB, sometimes AC. All right, Junie.
- 17:02Let's hear your answer. You have a test tomorrow and you
- 17:06want to watch TV? Well, Frankie.
- 17:08Sorry to say, I would probably watch TV first too until a
- 17:13commercial comes on. Then I would hear the Holy
- 17:16Spirit reminding me of God's word that says the hand of the
- 17:19diligent makes you rich and that lazy people will become poor.
- 17:23Then I'd turn off the TV and study Very.
- 17:27Good Junie, it's because you do God's Word that you are wise and
- 17:31blessed with good grades. And when you get a job someday,
- 17:34your habit of being diligent will make you rich.
- 17:37What about me? Frankie, I studied after I
- 17:40watched TV. Jack God's.
- 17:42Favor will work in your life according to the Word of God
- 17:45that you believe and do. Round 3 is coming up right after
- 17:49this message from our sponsors. Remember, God's favor puts you
- 17:52on top. Welcome back to the Favor game,
- 17:59where God's favor puts you on top.
- 18:01I'm still your host, Frankie Favor.
- 18:04We want everyone to be winners for you.
- 18:06O Lord will bless the righteous with favor.
- 18:09You will surround him as with his shield.
- 18:11Psalm 512. This is double value round of
- 18:15the favor game. Are you ready to play?
- 18:18Yes, ready. Here's the last.
- 18:19Question for today, Jack, you have a headache and it's time to
- 18:23go to church. What will you do?
- 18:25Well, I. Probably stay home, you know,
- 18:28get some rest, lay down on the couch, watch a little TV, that
- 18:33sort of thing. Oh, and I pray that God would
- 18:35heal me if it was his will. Of course, Jack.
- 18:38It's always God's will to heal. Jesus never turned anyone that
- 18:43wanted to be healed. The Bible says that we are
- 18:46healed by Jesus stripes. If I were you I would go to
- 18:49church and ask someone to pray for me.
- 18:52God says in his word that believers would lay their hands
- 18:55on the sick and they'd recover. Excellent.
- 18:57Answer Junie, God sent his word to heal us.
- 19:01Praise God. I feel better.
- 19:04My stomach was hurting before the show.
- 19:05Remember Jack? I asked Jack to pray for me and.
- 19:09Did you pray for her, Jack? No, why not?
- 19:14I guess. Deep down inside, I didn't
- 19:16believe my prayer would do any good.
- 19:19Jack when? We spend time hearing God's
- 19:21word, like listening to fish bites for kids or watching
- 19:25Superbook. Our faith gets stronger because
- 19:27the Bible says faith comes by hearing the word of God.
- 19:31That's Romans. 1017 See Jack. You can get God's word inside of
- 19:36you so that you will do it, and God's favor will surround you.
- 19:40Jack Junie, thanks for playing the favor game.
- 19:44Until next time, remember, God's favor puts you on top for you, O
- 19:48Lord will bless the righteous with favor.
- 19:51You will surround him as with a shield.
- 19:53Psalm 512. Hey Junie.
- 19:59How? Did you learn so much of God's
- 20:01Word? I take time.
- 20:02To hear God's Word on podcasts, on YouTube, or on TV every day,
- 20:07well, you. Sure are blessed I'm going to
- 20:10start listening to God's word every day too.
- 20:14Please share. Fish bites for kids on social
- 20:16media and we'd really appreciate you taking a moment to rate and
- 20:20review this podcast to help reach more people.
- 20:23Thanks for listening and come back soon for more fish bites.
