- 0:10Speaker 2: you back or just ignore you completely.
- 0:12Speaker 1: No, I'm just kidding. You want to go in, we
- 0:13Speaker 1: won't ignore your promise. You so payton the big deal.
- 0:16Speaker 1: We've been talking about it for a while and you're
- 0:17Speaker 1: pretty excited.
- 0:18Speaker 2: You found Jesus.
- 0:23Speaker 3: I did, truly, literally, yes, I found my pet tortoise Jesus.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Ill all holy that you found our Lord and Savior,
- 0:42Speaker 1: because I know.
- 0:43Speaker 4: You're thinking it's about time, because you're to.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Have ever really hear you never really hear you talk
- 0:47Speaker 2: about church ever? Do you ever go to church? I
- 0:49Speaker 2: really don't go to church.
- 0:50Speaker 5: I did grow up Catholic, you know, in the Catholic Church,
- 0:53Speaker 5: but I like to say I'm a pretty spiritual person.
- 0:56Speaker 5: Wouldn't necessarily say I'm religious, but I did Jesus. I'm
- 1:01Speaker 5: not godless. I believe there is one. But I did
- 1:04Speaker 5: find my pet brother, tortoise Jesus. He escaped his enclosure
- 1:08Speaker 5: and I found him.
- 1:09Speaker 6: This is a big deal because we were talking you
- 1:10Speaker 6: were actually worried that he was information too long.
- 1:14Speaker 5: Yeah, I thought my mom was gonna kill him, truly.
- 1:16Speaker 5: I actually let her up a few times about it.
- 1:18Speaker 5: I was like, it's getting caught outside.
- 1:20Speaker 2: You need to.
- 1:21Speaker 5: Wake Jesus up, you need to wake.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Days escape.
- 1:31Speaker 4: No.
- 1:31Speaker 5: So this was just a few probably about two weeks ago.
- 1:34Speaker 5: I was talking to Kyle and I was like, my
- 1:35Speaker 5: mom won't wake Jesus up. She had some information. I
- 1:38Speaker 5: think he's gonna get dehydrated and die. So I was
- 1:41Speaker 5: really really concerned about him. And right at that time,
- 1:44Speaker 5: he was just in the garage kind of just like
- 1:46Speaker 5: iced away. But now it's starting to get warm outside
- 1:48Speaker 5: and it's time for him to wake up and go
- 1:50Speaker 5: into his enclosure outside. So he has been in his
- 1:53Speaker 5: enclosure for four days. On day two he escaped. My
- 1:57Speaker 5: mom went out to go try to find him. He's
- 2:00Speaker 5: nowhere to be found. So me and my mom and
- 2:02Speaker 5: my grandma we drop everything that we're doing. We are
- 2:05Speaker 5: searching this backyard up and down, cannot find him. I'm
- 2:09Speaker 5: flipping over his enclosure, I'm digging through soil, and I
- 2:12Speaker 5: finally start to like walk over by the pool by
- 2:15Speaker 5: the gate, and I'm like on my hands and knees
- 2:18Speaker 5: trying to find this dang tortoise.
- 2:20Speaker 2: And I found him.
- 2:21Speaker 5: He was there underneath this like like weird bush thing.
- 2:25Speaker 5: I don't know. I don't know, but his enclosure is
- 2:28Speaker 5: kind of high. So I am a little worried about
- 2:30Speaker 5: him because that was like a two foot fall that
- 2:32Speaker 5: he told.
- 2:32Speaker 2: He climbed theclosure.
- 2:34Speaker 5: One hundred climbed out of the enclosure. And so I've
- 2:38Speaker 5: been really worried about my brother Jesus right, because I
- 2:41Speaker 5: feel like my mom is neglecting him.
- 2:42Speaker 2: I do.
- 2:43Speaker 5: I keep telling her that, like, you're gonna kill this tortoise.
- 2:47Speaker 4: When do tortoises typically? I mean, he's a desert tortoise.
- 2:50Speaker 4: Is he Is he a wake more during the summer,
- 2:53Speaker 4: Like is now the time he's supposed to be out
- 2:55Speaker 4: about doing Yeah.
- 2:56Speaker 5: Once it starts getting warm, I would say he probably
- 2:58Speaker 5: needed to wake up like a March end of March,
- 3:02Speaker 5: and then he goes back to sleep in early November when.
- 3:06Speaker 2: It starts to cool down.
- 3:07Speaker 4: Don't they live like one hundred and thirty years. Why
- 3:09Speaker 4: would you worry about him passing away? Don't they just
- 3:11Speaker 4: kind of like.
- 3:12Speaker 5: Because he's a house tortoise he's not.
- 3:15Speaker 6: He's become accustomed to certain things, yeah, like the light.
- 3:20Speaker 5: I don't know if he would make it out in
- 3:22Speaker 5: the wild. But I am very concerned about my tortous
- 3:24Speaker 5: Jesus you guys, because I do think he has a
- 3:26Speaker 5: death wish. I think my mom's gonna kill him. But
- 3:29Speaker 5: I also think he wants to be gone.
- 3:31Speaker 2: He's jumping, for sure. You need to make him a ramp,
- 3:34Speaker 2: That's what I'm saying, jumping.
- 3:36Speaker 1: On the enclosure.
- 3:37Speaker 5: And then just yesterday, we were hanging out by the
- 3:40Speaker 5: pool and I went to go check on him and
- 3:42Speaker 5: I look in his enclosure and he's upside down on
- 3:46Speaker 5: his back.
- 3:46Speaker 2: He flipped himself over the.
- 3:50Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:51Speaker 6: Yeah, So I was like, okay, maybe he was trying
- 3:53Speaker 6: to climb out again.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Trying to climb out.
- 3:56Speaker 6: He does need a ramp exactly.
- 3:57Speaker 5: So he climbed out again, then fell backwards, and then
- 3:59Speaker 5: I had a gut feeling. I checked on him again.
- 4:02Speaker 5: There he is flipped over, and I was like, this
- 4:04Speaker 5: tortoise is literally trying to die right now.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Let him go. You found him like a year ago, right,
- 4:10Speaker 2: you found him.
- 4:10Speaker 5: We've had him for like two and a half years. Yeah,
- 4:12Speaker 5: we found my friend found him actually, like just wandering
- 4:15Speaker 5: in the middle of.
- 4:15Speaker 2: The street, right, so maybe he should be a wild tortoise.
- 4:19Speaker 5: He's not, though we took him.
- 4:20Speaker 2: But it's like it's like he's trying to get escape,
- 4:24Speaker 2: to be free.
- 4:25Speaker 6: At this point, don't you think it would be maybe
- 4:27Speaker 6: dangerous for him to go for since he's had all
- 4:29Speaker 6: this stuff provided for him, does he remember how to hunt?
- 4:32Speaker 1: What if he's like Nemo and trying to get home
- 4:34Speaker 1: to his parents, right, that's really sad, I know.
- 4:37Speaker 2: And it's this vicious woman keeps taking him. He's like,
- 4:42Speaker 2: I'm out out walking down Chandler Rights Boulevard.
- 4:49Speaker 1: He's trying to find his mom and dad, tortoise, and
- 4:51Speaker 1: they're they're probably a mile away, they're gone, or they're
- 4:54Speaker 1: a mile away.
- 4:54Speaker 2: In the desert, and and you're like not letting them go.
- 4:57Speaker 6: Everything my man, Jesus, jes feels like, don't leave again.
- 5:04Speaker 5: I will find it. Seriously, that's the second time that
- 5:07Speaker 5: I found Jesus.
- 5:08Speaker 4: But just like, can you tape an Apple tracker onto
- 5:11Speaker 4: his back or tell me why?
- 5:13Speaker 5: I literally was like, we need to put a baby
- 5:14Speaker 5: monitor in there for him, just.
- 5:15Speaker 2: So we can him because if he looks sober. He's
- 5:18Speaker 2: gonna die.
- 5:19Speaker 5: Well, he's big enough to be able to flip himself
- 5:21Speaker 5: back over, but yeah, he is gonna be that's hard.
- 5:24Speaker 5: That's bad for his breathing.
- 5:26Speaker 1: He can't do that well if you're just tuning in.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Peyton found Jesus, But not that Jesus. We all hoped
- 5:30Speaker 1: and prayed for him.
- 5:33Speaker 4: Maybe next year.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Not the Jesus she needs. So yes, Peyton found Jesus.
