- 0:05Speaker 3: Any serious suck and we hold the world ransom for.
- 0:11Speaker 4: Excuse me while I whip this out. Broadcasting live and Atlanta, Georgia.
- 0:18Speaker 4: This this is the Sports Shot Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 0:23Speaker 5: You may.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Again that come to far, come that comes to mind?
- 0:33Speaker 6: Is it just.
- 0:37Speaker 4: I'm a doing Yeah, I'm gonna go on the way
- 0:40Speaker 4: you made Bill Vegan. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, you listen to
- 0:47Speaker 4: the Sports Shock Show. I'm the Sports Shock Wayne Gandy.
- 0:50Speaker 4: Good morning to you out there in listening land. Glad
- 0:54Speaker 4: to be here with you on this Thursday Command you, Greg,
- 0:57Speaker 4: Big Kenny, the funny man himself, the bappy dude in
- 1:00Speaker 4: the building. Our special guests today just hanging out with us,
- 1:04Speaker 4: trying to educate us on the matters of black and
- 1:10Speaker 4: white relations. DJ Duke is in the building. He's here
- 1:15Speaker 4: to make sure we are staying between the racial lines.
- 1:19Speaker 4: But we're glad to be here with you this morning,
- 1:22Speaker 4: tonight Thursday night football which still is going on. It
- 1:26Speaker 4: should fade out around this time when you ask me,
- 1:29Speaker 4: get it in if you need it. But right now,
- 1:31Speaker 4: teams need that extra day. They don't need those short weeks.
- 1:34Speaker 4: You don't need those interruptions. You know you got the
- 1:37Speaker 4: time College is gone, Army Navy three o'clock Saturday. Always
- 1:41Speaker 4: got to give the armed forces a salute and the heisman.
- 1:44Speaker 4: We'll talk about that. See if anybody without pushing buttons
- 1:48Speaker 4: can tell me the four or five guys that's up
- 1:51Speaker 4: for the heisman. Looking at the faces command, you greg
- 1:55Speaker 4: got two, but he is missing too, and he's waiting
- 1:58Speaker 4: to go to commercial break. I got three. Oh, you
- 2:00Speaker 4: got three of them? Okay, okay, okay, he's looking. Mc
- 2:04Speaker 4: kenny's already over there, cheating. Brought a calculator to math class,
- 2:09Speaker 4: and know that's not how we grew up. You can't
- 2:11Speaker 4: have a calculator in this first grade. You gotta do
- 2:15Speaker 4: it the long way, yo. This calculator was lay away.
- 2:23Speaker 4: But we are. Here's Thursday night football the Falcons and
- 2:27Speaker 4: this is just a get ready game for the Bucks.
- 2:29Speaker 4: The Bucks most likely are going to take this division.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Someone like the Falcons would have to win out. There
- 2:40Speaker 4: are four nine, the Bucks are seven and six. The
- 2:43Speaker 4: Falcons find themselves where they would just have to win
- 2:46Speaker 4: out and get some help. The Bucks. I think they're
- 2:50Speaker 4: gonna get Mike Evans back Sunday if some of the
- 2:55Speaker 4: fall off of the Bucks has been there. Two or
- 2:57Speaker 4: three top receivers have been out, even the young rookie
- 3:01Speaker 4: have been out. A Dunque Abuka Abuka had been out,
- 3:05Speaker 4: So the Bucks and I'm quite sure the Falcons are
- 3:09Speaker 4: happy that this game, even though it's at night, is
- 3:12Speaker 4: in Tampa because it's chili here, which wouldn't matter they'd
- 3:16Speaker 4: been in the Dome. But you also could have been
- 3:18Speaker 4: somewhere like on our Monday night game coming up, where
- 3:21Speaker 4: the Dolphins have to travel to Pittsburgh and take them
- 3:24Speaker 4: on Monday night where temperatures are expected to be in
- 3:28Speaker 4: the twenties. So that is Thursday night football in the NFL.
- 3:33Speaker 4: That's on Prime Video. If you like high school football,
- 3:37Speaker 4: I'll be calling a game tonight at seven thirty GPB
- 3:42Speaker 4: for you that's in the area or have been keeping
- 3:44Speaker 4: up with any kind of sports on the high school level.
- 3:46Speaker 4: That team Gainesville, they got in a big fight about
- 3:49Speaker 4: three weeks ago with Bronswick and it went to court.
- 3:54Speaker 4: It took two weeks for them to settle the matter.
- 3:57Speaker 4: They went with the original plan where they just suspended
- 4:00Speaker 4: four players. At first, they were trying to suspend up
- 4:04Speaker 4: to thirty eight. But the court, the judges went to
- 4:07Speaker 4: a judge, this is not the commissioner went to court
- 4:13Speaker 4: and they allowed that thirty four of the thirty eight
- 4:16Speaker 4: could play. That team went out and beat last week
- 4:20Speaker 4: the mighty Langston Hughes team that in the state of
- 4:24Speaker 4: Georgia most people had predicted to win the five A Championship.
- 4:28Speaker 4: So that Gainesville team will play up in Rome, Georgia tonight.
- 4:34Speaker 4: Both teams are eleven and two in that semi final,
- 4:39Speaker 4: and it's a game. Where As I say, when you're
- 4:42Speaker 4: watching a lot of these Georgia games, I'm not just
- 4:44Speaker 4: pumping them up because I want you to tune in
- 4:46Speaker 4: and get the ratings. Yes, I do want that, but
- 4:48Speaker 4: you are looking at some of the biggest brand names
- 4:50Speaker 4: in college recruitment. The number one prospect in the state
- 4:56Speaker 4: of Georgia who unfortunately decided to sign with Alabam Xavier Griffin.
- 5:02Speaker 4: He plays for Gainesville. He's number one prospect in the state,
- 5:07Speaker 4: so Alabama paid him pretty well to cross lines and
- 5:12Speaker 4: drive from here to Tuscaloosa. But his head coach not
- 5:18Speaker 4: saying that has anything to do with it. But Gainesville's
- 5:24Speaker 4: top two players which are on the defensive side. Ji
- 5:28Speaker 4: Marius Williams, a defensive tackle four star, and then the
- 5:31Speaker 4: more in prospect Xavier Griffin are going to George. I mean,
- 5:36Speaker 4: excuse me, Alabama where they're head coach played. Now, I'm
- 5:43Speaker 4: not saying it's coincidence. I'm not saying that DJ Duke
- 5:48Speaker 4: just so what I'm saying it just happened.
- 5:50Speaker 2: So the place where you what if they were related,
- 5:59Speaker 2: they call it nepotism.
- 6:04Speaker 4: But if you want to figure out what was the
- 6:07Speaker 4: end uh your head coach Uh, he was a backup quarterback,
- 6:11Speaker 4: pretty good players played in my time, intense guy and
- 6:15Speaker 4: has put a great program together there in Gainesville. But
- 6:19Speaker 4: the head coach does because sometimes you bring us that
- 6:23Speaker 4: kind of recruit. We can find a job for you.
- 6:26Speaker 4: You know, we can kind of find a job maybe,
- 6:29Speaker 4: so maybe you give us, you know, we can negotiate,
- 6:33Speaker 4: or we could just send you the money. You put
- 6:39Speaker 4: it in your hand. It's the n I L right
- 6:41Speaker 4: now and you just can we.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Call you a broker send money to that's a good name.
- 6:47Speaker 4: FABU. Just to go ahead on the finished connecting with
- 6:50Speaker 4: whoever you're connecting with. No, just keep sneaking a little
- 6:53Speaker 4: punch on the cue. You're probably looking up the Heisman thing.
- 6:55Speaker 4: But you know, whatever you're doing, uh, you know, go
- 6:59Speaker 4: ahead on the finish so you don't have to keep
- 7:02Speaker 4: looking over at me inside out. That's very distracting, you
- 7:05Speaker 4: know when people on the mic. What people never get
- 7:07Speaker 4: is distractions are big. When people are just walking around
- 7:11Speaker 4: that has no or moving, it's a very It breaks
- 7:15Speaker 4: your concentration. And as I keep talking, he keeps hitting
- 7:19Speaker 4: the button. Kenny keeps it in his button, and it's like,
- 7:23Speaker 4: I just need ten minutes and we're gonna go to commercial.
- 7:28Speaker 4: So finished, you finished? Oh we stay ready? What does
- 7:33Speaker 4: that translate? That big we read?
- 7:39Speaker 2: I mean, that's what I'm saying, and that what it
- 7:41Speaker 2: took me digging deep. You know, I wait in the
- 7:44Speaker 2: back of the closet a little bit baddu do. Do
- 7:48Speaker 2: me a favor.
- 7:49Speaker 4: Take your left hand and put it flat on the
- 7:51Speaker 4: table because you seem like you're in a trance and
- 7:55Speaker 4: you got a concussion. Your arm is stuck over the keyboard.
- 8:00Speaker 4: Can you move your hand from over the keyboard? Yeah,
- 8:03Speaker 4: it's you know, it's a little just thank you. I
- 8:05Speaker 4: appreciate that. Now keep it down there. About three more
- 8:09Speaker 4: minutes and then we'll be out of this segment. Concussion.
- 8:17Speaker 4: I told everybody to renize. Well, somebody gonna get about
- 8:21Speaker 4: that to it when they get hit and get stuck.
- 8:25Speaker 4: I mean I had a little accident, you know, in
- 8:27Speaker 4: my hands. That's what the lookout guy up there. You
- 8:30Speaker 4: know in the NFL games they have a guy that
- 8:32Speaker 4: look look at the finger. That's what they're looking instantly,
- 8:36Speaker 4: if that arm gets stuck, they send the medical team
- 8:39Speaker 4: go get it. Because while you're trying to educate like
- 8:42Speaker 4: you usually do, you know, I missed him. He was
- 8:48Speaker 4: again you did have he did have?
- 8:50Speaker 2: Say it again, Say what about how you had an
- 8:53Speaker 2: incident and it did it left your hand?
- 8:56Speaker 4: Tell him?
- 8:56Speaker 7: Tell him how you I mean, you don't have a concussion,
- 8:59Speaker 7: but I mean my hand is a little still.
- 9:06Speaker 4: You miss that. Iculous. That game is tonight, as I
- 9:09Speaker 4: was saying, Gainesville at Rome, both teams eleven and two.
- 9:12Speaker 4: Rome has won eleven games in a row to get
- 9:15Speaker 4: into this, and this is a semis and for you
- 9:17Speaker 4: to like to continue watching Georgia high school football a
- 9:20Speaker 4: lot of great games. The finals state championships are Monday, Tuesday,
- 9:25Speaker 4: and Wednesday. One of these two teams will be in
- 9:28Speaker 4: the A the six A, and we're gonna move on
- 9:33Speaker 4: from high school calling the sixth A. They moved six
- 9:36Speaker 4: to A from Wednesday to Tuesday. The six A game.
- 9:39Speaker 4: Find some time to watch this game. It's most likely
- 9:43Speaker 4: will define in shape who will be ruled the number
- 9:47Speaker 4: one team in the nation. I said nation, not Georgia.
- 9:55Speaker 4: Buford and Carrollton are playing in the six A final
- 9:59Speaker 4: third today night. Both teams in about four to five
- 10:04Speaker 4: polls across the country are either one ranked one or
- 10:09Speaker 4: both of them are in like the top six teams
- 10:12Speaker 4: in the country. So it's going to offer them a
- 10:15Speaker 4: chance to beat each other and then, don't be surprised,
- 10:20Speaker 4: a couple of days later you get an announcement that
- 10:23Speaker 4: they are the national team of the year. So a
- 10:29Speaker 4: great game, a whole bunch of money of nil deals
- 10:33Speaker 4: in that game. I mean, we're talking about just a
- 10:35Speaker 4: whole bunch of old Miss Florida state power for players.
- 10:41Speaker 4: It's all over the board. I mean, typically rue for
- 10:45Speaker 4: fifty eight of the fifty eight players are going D one.
- 10:49Speaker 4: So yeah, it's hard to even go up there and
- 10:53Speaker 4: offer them money because you know, some schools you go like, hey,
- 10:56Speaker 4: coach man, I got these shoes or that, and we're good.
- 11:00Speaker 4: Brood were already with Nike long term deal. You know,
- 11:04Speaker 4: power aid. We're good up here. But that producers like
- 11:07Speaker 4: you need to say something. All right, No, I'm just okay,
- 11:10Speaker 4: your Falcon's gonna win tonight for sure, for sure, for sure. Okay, okay,
- 11:14Speaker 4: let's put a hond ah for hondo, bundo. Let me
- 11:20Speaker 4: check them, hold on, hold for sure, don't go to
- 11:26Speaker 4: you don't need to check the win. That's a heck
- 11:29Speaker 4: of a thing to ask the doctor after this surgery.
- 11:32Speaker 4: I'm gonna be able walk, yeah, for sure, like like
- 11:36Speaker 4: walk real good. I mean like walk walk Okay, no, hondo, Okay,
- 11:48Speaker 4: we'll be back up. We got Philip Rivers. We got
- 11:52Speaker 4: some issues in Michigan. Should doer Sanders, Troy Aikman say
- 11:58Speaker 4: he tired of giving out and uh o money. Josh
- 12:01Speaker 4: Hart had his baby on the side on the court.
- 12:05Speaker 4: What's going on? Pay much a baby on the side?
- 12:09Speaker 4: That right? Right? Am? I right?
- 12:12Speaker 8: But you just don't be.
- 12:15Speaker 9: Good.
- 12:15Speaker 10: I'm making some ejective, so hey on even guess what.
- 12:18Speaker 4: I feel like I can miss jon't bowl.
- 12:24Speaker 11: Wayne Boor of the Sports Jock show with Wayne Dantidius

- 15:21Speaker 18: the Day on the Sports Jockshow has taken it to.
- 15:23Speaker 4: A completely different level this year.
- 15:25Speaker 18: Where we highlight an acolyte that has taken their game
- 15:28Speaker 18: to the next level.
- 15:54Speaker 4: Welcome back to this boy shop shower. I'm this boy shock,
- 15:56Speaker 4: Wayne Canny. Good morning to you out there and listening.
- 16:00Speaker 4: And we are two weeks away from Christmas, three weeks
- 16:03Speaker 4: away from a new year. But we got a lot
- 16:06Speaker 4: of work left here in the world of sports that
- 16:10Speaker 4: as soon as you think you have it figured out,
- 16:12Speaker 4: and that's the beauty of it it changes. You're always
- 16:16Speaker 4: seeking searching for that perfect game. As soon as you
- 16:19Speaker 4: fix your jump shot, then your crossover isn't working. You
- 16:24Speaker 4: go back to fix that. Now you can't shoot free throws.
- 16:27Speaker 4: It's just how it goes, you know, trying to get
- 16:30Speaker 4: everything in sync into fire at once. The world of
- 16:33Speaker 4: sports always is offering us great stories, and one of
- 16:37Speaker 4: the better stories, happy stories. We're going to start there
- 16:40Speaker 4: before we get around to the Big House and Coach Moore.
- 16:46Speaker 4: We'll start with something on a positive note that is
- 16:49Speaker 4: going to bring a lot of eyes this weekend as
- 16:54Speaker 4: the Hall of Famer to be. Philip Rivers has decided
- 16:59Speaker 4: to who dropped his coaching because he's been coaching at
- 17:04Speaker 4: his high school back in Alabama for the last four
- 17:09Speaker 4: or five years. His son is a player on that team.
- 17:13Speaker 4: He's been the head coach. He has decided getting a
- 17:16Speaker 4: call back into the fold of going to the Coats.
- 17:22Speaker 4: If you don't know, the Coats basically have lost their
- 17:25Speaker 4: three quarterbacks. They lost last week when they lost Daniel Dimes.
- 17:31Speaker 4: They already had Antonio. I always say Anthony Richardson, always
- 17:37Speaker 4: want to say Antonio Richardson. But Anthony Richardson was on
- 17:41Speaker 4: are some of that was I think the team was
- 17:44Speaker 4: moving away from him anyway, so they were cool with
- 17:47Speaker 4: just saying okay, take it season and then the backup
- 17:50Speaker 4: last week got banged up. So now they have gone to,
- 17:54Speaker 4: like they say, old man Rivers, who is forty four
- 17:57Speaker 4: years old, and just like any media story, every goes
- 18:00Speaker 4: to wanting to find every story. Yes, he has a
- 18:04Speaker 4: lot of kids. He had a lot of kids when
- 18:06Speaker 4: he was playing. He had nine of them when he
- 18:08Speaker 4: was playing. So that was four five years ago, so
- 18:12Speaker 4: stop acting like that's something new. He retired with nine kids.
- 18:17Speaker 4: In that interim he decided to go ahead and make
- 18:19Speaker 4: it even ten. But stop trying to sell that angle
- 18:23Speaker 4: on the man. He's a Hall of Famer to be,
- 18:25Speaker 4: as I said, his last year's he was at the Colts.
- 18:31Speaker 4: His high school has been running the Colts offense. He's
- 18:38Speaker 4: easier to bring back. So for the DJ dukes out
- 18:44Speaker 4: there and in the whole state of Carolina, both of
- 18:46Speaker 4: them South and North. Remember they used to just be one.
- 18:50Speaker 4: Then somebody say hey, hey, that my line. They just
- 18:54Speaker 4: wanted to fight, but then they made it two. But
- 18:57Speaker 4: for that, for you cam Newton, Philip Rivers, for whatever
- 19:04Speaker 4: he used to be. He's had four years to basically
- 19:06Speaker 4: dipsap here off the scene. He's easier to bring back.
- 19:14Speaker 4: He's easier to bring back than a Colin Kaepernick. I
- 19:19Speaker 4: have four games to go. It would take me four
- 19:22Speaker 4: games to settle Cam down.
- 19:24Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, no, let me show you where
- 19:27Speaker 2: that's a good play. But no, what I'm gonna do.
- 19:29Speaker 2: I'm gonna drop back, y'all? Not I'm more mobile than that. No, no,
- 19:33Speaker 2: my man, here, you do a different route, You do
- 19:35Speaker 2: a different route.
- 19:37Speaker 4: Exactly all that right there. So in this instance, the
- 19:41Speaker 4: Coats feel like they have a chance still to maybe
- 19:45Speaker 4: win their division and make it to the playoffs. They
- 19:51Speaker 4: feel like the rest of the team at one point
- 19:55Speaker 4: they had the best record in the NFL. Now they're
- 19:59Speaker 4: sitting there like they can find somebody who is not
- 20:02Speaker 4: going to lose the game, run the ball and play
- 20:04Speaker 4: some defense. Maybe we can. You know, that's what Philip rivers,
- 20:08Speaker 4: that's what all old quarterbacks defense. No, man, look, if
- 20:12Speaker 4: I put my hat on and I dropped back, So
- 20:15Speaker 4: eight time Pro bowler backs in the fold with the coach,
- 20:20Speaker 4: what he can do, we don't know. But when you
- 20:23Speaker 4: go get these older guys, whether it's active or inactive,
- 20:27Speaker 4: it's more of that. You think that I can fit
- 20:30Speaker 4: them in real quick. They have some connection. Even if
- 20:34Speaker 4: you listen to his interview, he's telling you I stayed
- 20:38Speaker 4: around football. I just wasn't in the pros. I've been
- 20:40Speaker 4: out on the field. I've been talking to the head
- 20:44Speaker 4: coach the GM weekly just about even running, how to
- 20:47Speaker 4: run my team, those kind of things. So is he
- 20:53Speaker 4: some If anything, it screams how weak and how unfortunate
- 21:02Speaker 4: so many quarterbacks have failed that there you've got to
- 21:08Speaker 4: go to the streets deepen them because there's so many
- 21:15Speaker 4: failures over the last ten years that didn't pan out
- 21:18Speaker 4: that I wouldn't trust them. I'd rather go get an
- 21:20Speaker 4: old man who's a granddad. Now it gets some of
- 21:23Speaker 4: these little young ThunderCats that because I can't trust them
- 21:27Speaker 4: to do.
- 21:27Speaker 2: Anything, because that my conventional wisdom was going to make
- 21:30Speaker 2: me answer or ask that question. When you talk about
- 21:34Speaker 2: people that are screaming why they skip over a cam Newton,
- 21:37Speaker 2: I would imagine that the Colts got all of the
- 21:39Speaker 2: people that are capable of doing this job on some
- 21:44Speaker 2: sort of Rolodex type system.
- 21:47Speaker 4: We can find their number and we do the analytics.
- 21:51Speaker 4: This our job. Every day, football is our job.
- 21:54Speaker 2: So we know who fits where, and we know who's
- 21:58Speaker 2: capable of doing what we had what Forga.
- 22:00Speaker 4: Well, nobody's gonna trade. Nobody's gonna help me. No, no
- 22:05Speaker 4: tradeadline passed. That's what I'm saying. Trade deadline is so
- 22:08Speaker 4: I can't go trade for somebody right. Think about it. Now,
- 22:12Speaker 4: My options are a little limited. I got four games.
- 22:14Speaker 4: I can't trade for anybody. We go through all of it,
- 22:18Speaker 4: maybe we might find one person who's ever kind of
- 22:21Speaker 4: ran this system. What about your Marcus Russell? Well do
- 22:26Speaker 4: you think they? Do you think anybody from the coachorization?
- 22:29Speaker 4: And then I gotta find somebody hold on as we
- 22:32Speaker 4: go to break and we'll come back to your question.
- 22:35Speaker 4: Ponder this. I have to find somebody that can pass
- 22:40Speaker 4: a drug test so that get the market's off. Don't
- 22:43Speaker 4: let that blow your mind. But in this physical it's
- 22:48Speaker 4: a drug test. You didn't know you was gonna get called?
- 22:52Speaker 4: Did you? I knew? I knew I was Marcus Russell.
- 22:58Speaker 4: Cal I know somewhere smoke right now. Look has I'm
- 23:04Speaker 4: gonna fly you in tomorrow. See a lot of people
- 23:08Speaker 4: didn't understand tomorrow, I'm gonna fly you in. I need
- 23:13Speaker 4: to be able to who who Who hasn't smoked in
- 23:16Speaker 4: the last month. JaMarcus was in there. None of these guys.
- 23:21Speaker 4: I know Andrew I know Andrew Luck got a card
- 23:24Speaker 4: out there in California. He had Stanford. They growing it
- 23:27Speaker 4: under lights in the basement test. That's why they don't
- 23:30Speaker 4: ever get caught. They're just throwing out growing their own
- 23:33Speaker 4: in Silicon Valley. And he just tested that street former
- 23:36Speaker 4: super cool that stuff, and that stuff is not organic.
- 23:42Speaker 4: Now they're doing it right there underneath Bill Gates old house.
- 23:47Speaker 4: And you want to get back and just kill you
- 23:49Speaker 4: want to play quarterback? So has gonna be if you
- 23:53Speaker 4: can think of a quarterback that's on the street that
- 23:55Speaker 4: you think could have passed the drug test tomorrow Mike
- 23:58Speaker 4: Vicken't you know what I'm saying? Old Norfolk Sta got him.
- 24:02Speaker 4: They've been to the Promised Land up there. He's stressed.
- 24:05Speaker 4: I know he's smoking him a little bit. Super We'll
- 24:08Speaker 4: be back with more sports jock show, Who camp past
- 24:11Speaker 4: who Cam? But you you just scaled my whole question.
- 24:15Speaker 4: I was going, you know, we'll be back right after this.

- 26:47Speaker 12: In the radzo Yo Man, there's a lot of brothers
- 26:51Speaker 12: out there flaking and perpetrating, but scared to kick reality.
- 26:54Speaker 4: Man, you've been doing all this dope producing. You had
- 26:56Speaker 4: a chance to show them what time it is. So
- 26:58Speaker 4: what you want me to do?
- 27:00Speaker 5: I'm expensing with my full and now I'm living in
- 27:03Speaker 5: correctional facilities because something don't agree with how I do this.
- 27:07Speaker 4: I get straight to meditate this. Welcome back to the
- 27:11Speaker 4: Sports Shock Show. I'm the Sports Shock Wing can to
- 27:14Speaker 4: give morning to you out there listening Land. I hope
- 27:17Speaker 4: you're having a beautiful morning. Looks like it's going to
- 27:20Speaker 4: be pretty here and Atlanta, it's going to be cold tonight.
- 27:24Speaker 4: As I said, good high school football game five, a
- 27:27Speaker 4: semi final. On the other side of the semi final,
- 27:30Speaker 4: that game is also tonight Thomas County Central for you
- 27:33Speaker 4: Charlie Ward people, that's how far down there, that's where
- 27:38Speaker 4: they made Roswell. Roswell, which is up here with us,
- 27:42Speaker 4: had the bus down to Thomas County Central High School,
- 27:45Speaker 4: which is literally laying on the border of Georgia, Florida.
- 27:49Speaker 4: So think about that trip for the high school. Now, Roswell,
- 27:52Speaker 4: he probably gave him some ac buses. Well, every school
- 27:56Speaker 4: would have that don't give a trip because you're talking
- 27:58Speaker 4: about on a bus probably five hour least at least
- 28:05Speaker 4: at least on a bus.
- 28:06Speaker 2: So hopefully that's not I'm imagining in the world now
- 28:12Speaker 2: of even big time high school sports when they travel
- 28:16Speaker 2: that far. That's not a standard now. Well the boosters, okay,
- 28:20Speaker 2: it's all about the boosters with the luxury liners.
- 28:23Speaker 4: And yeah, based on the school, like people would have
- 28:29Speaker 4: flew out of p Brown out of here and no,
- 28:32Speaker 4: but they would have defleet up really nice. Marris maris
- 28:37Speaker 4: A lot of you have heard of school mayor's here.
- 28:40Speaker 4: Head coach of the Rams, head coach of the Ram
- 28:42Speaker 4: Sean McVay went to marrors. Uh. The young man that
- 28:45Speaker 4: plays for the Ravens, the safety, big safety that likes
- 28:50Speaker 4: to hit people. Hamilton, Hamilton, Coyle, Hamilton, He went to
- 28:54Speaker 4: marriage but they busy. They rent them the luxury line
- 29:01Speaker 4: or just to go five miles. Yeah, no matter where
- 29:03Speaker 4: they play, the school could be cross the street.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Gonna load out, get off. They got the catered food,
- 29:13Speaker 2: the side with the big screen.
- 29:17Speaker 4: If Thomas County Central wins, then they have to come
- 29:22Speaker 4: up here because the state games are at the bends
- 29:24Speaker 4: with the Falcons play so and the last time they
- 29:29Speaker 4: were there, I called the game and they had the
- 29:31Speaker 4: horn horns going. I think I told you guys how
- 29:35Speaker 4: the security and the ushers had to come down and
- 29:38Speaker 4: try to get them to stop. That's all you heard
- 29:42Speaker 4: for about three and it was like, it's too late
- 29:44Speaker 4: if you let them in the building. It wasn't that
- 29:49Speaker 4: kind of security. It was.
- 29:53Speaker 7: It's told that that's the pre game statement, and that's
- 29:55Speaker 7: told that every game that you can't have artificial noise making.
- 29:58Speaker 4: Well, you should have stopped that at the gate. Well,
- 30:01Speaker 4: I know that's because that's what they do with their
- 30:04Speaker 4: high school. They're just keeping up their tradition. Yeah.
- 30:07Speaker 7: Well, you know, I know, we're on my side of
- 30:11Speaker 7: it on the basketball, and you got.
- 30:13Speaker 4: To stick with the basketball, man, we're on the football. Okay, yeah,
- 30:21Speaker 4: I understand. I'm just saying that. But do you have
- 30:25Speaker 4: a quarterback? Because I'm moving on the subject, do you
- 30:27Speaker 4: have a quarterback that can pass the drug test? No?
- 30:31Speaker 7: I mean I didn't realize, but my man, I was
- 30:33Speaker 7: going to ask about Andrew Luck. You know, I think
- 30:35Speaker 7: he been off for a couple of years. I thought
- 30:37Speaker 7: maybe he could know the coach's offense. But you you
- 30:40Speaker 7: basically killed it said. He is the basement in Stafford.
- 30:43Speaker 4: So coman kiy. Anybody had a prospect to be able.
- 30:48Speaker 2: To pass the drug test, know what I'm saying.
- 30:52Speaker 4: I don't know anybody worldwide quarterback past the drug test?
- 30:57Speaker 4: No sign? What you guys? When we move on? What
- 30:59Speaker 4: do you think about Philip Rivers? Why not get for him? Now?
- 31:04Speaker 2: Well, this is the thing a little bit has been
- 31:08Speaker 2: five years. He understands what he's going into. They understand
- 31:16Speaker 2: exactly what it is they're getting. So I imagine that
- 31:20Speaker 2: these are the professional safeguards are in places now. Can
- 31:23Speaker 2: things go wrong? Absolutely, But that's in real life every day.
- 31:27Speaker 2: So we see all kinds of other professional athletes playing
- 31:33Speaker 2: well into their forties and receiving success and accolades for it.
- 31:39Speaker 4: So Phil Rivers, it's it's just plucking in the numbers, right.
- 31:43Speaker 4: It used to be here. I mean we talk every
- 31:45Speaker 4: week and talk.
- 31:47Speaker 2: I use your offense where I am now, So I
- 31:49Speaker 2: haven't been away from football. I've just been away from
- 31:52Speaker 2: NFL football. So it'll be all right, won't it?
- 31:59Speaker 4: No air for him?
- 32:00Speaker 7: Because you know he's done it for a long time.
- 32:06Speaker 7: You just hope that if he does go out there,
- 32:10Speaker 7: it could be he can have some success. That's what
- 32:12Speaker 7: I hope for, and he has opportunity to show that,
- 32:15Speaker 7: you know, because he was a great quarterback, gonna be
- 32:17Speaker 7: a Hall of Famer.
- 32:18Speaker 4: So I'm just hoping that he has success.
- 32:20Speaker 2: And what would you be afraid for? Some attitudinal young
- 32:25Speaker 2: thunder cat? Oh man, what you doing out here? They're
- 32:28Speaker 2: playing the Seahawks on Sunday. The Seahawks are ten and three,
- 32:31Speaker 2: they have a ferocious defense. I think the only thing
- 32:35Speaker 2: I would have fear of is the Coats getting behind
- 32:41Speaker 2: and having to pass the ball, you know, in a
- 32:45Speaker 2: way to try to catch up. That's the only thing
- 32:49Speaker 2: going into this game I think other than that, it'd
- 32:52Speaker 2: be more of just a game managing kind of situation.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Right But if they have to pass, then then you
- 32:57Speaker 2: run into the well passing having to run in almost
- 33:01Speaker 2: like a hurry up. Two minutes we're down twenty one six,
- 33:06Speaker 2: and I'm saying, and that opens him up for more
- 33:10Speaker 2: opportunity for something to go wrong.
- 33:12Speaker 4: Right now, because not just getting hit, but having to
- 33:14Speaker 4: make him have to move and remember, we're all the
- 33:19Speaker 4: thing about it, regardless of even if he had been
- 33:22Speaker 4: around all this time. Everybody else is in game shape. Yeah,
- 33:26Speaker 4: everybody else. Everybody's mind is clicking. It's like it's like
- 33:34Speaker 4: letting the kids play with the guard dogs. No, these
- 33:36Speaker 4: aren't the regular dogs. These dogs have a specific purpose.
- 33:39Speaker 4: And now he's out there and everybody else. This is
- 33:42Speaker 4: how many games left. Four So why did they say
- 33:45Speaker 4: they signed into the practice squad. Well, because that lets
- 33:48Speaker 4: them bring them in and they get a chance to
- 33:51Speaker 4: see what he can do without activating him. Okay, because
- 33:57Speaker 4: I don't think they had made a decision whether they
- 33:59Speaker 4: were going to play him yet or start him. They
- 34:03Speaker 4: just bring him in and work him out, and then
- 34:05Speaker 4: if they needed more time, have him on the practice squad,
- 34:09Speaker 4: because they do. They do have another that Brett Ripping
- 34:11Speaker 4: also in who they had an don't don't don't, don't,
- 34:16Speaker 4: don't play. I don't play with Brett Ripping. And I
- 34:23Speaker 4: can bring him in. I can bring him in on
- 34:24Speaker 4: the pre nephew, nephew, I can bring him in on
- 34:28Speaker 4: the practice squad. Uh and economically save money because that's
- 34:33Speaker 4: a different rate for the week. So if he's on
- 34:36Speaker 4: the practice squad and I didn't take him and I
- 34:38Speaker 4: didn't activate him, this week. I only had to pay
- 34:42Speaker 4: him the practice squad raked.
- 34:44Speaker 2: And and now I can activate him instantly, like he
- 34:47Speaker 2: goes from me on practice squad too. I could just
- 34:49Speaker 2: put it okay, okay, there's no advanced notice and he
- 34:53Speaker 2: needs seventy two hours to declare no.
- 34:56Speaker 4: No, and an NFL needs to start. Bill Belichick was
- 34:59Speaker 4: saying that twenty years ago, and he was like, everybody
- 35:01Speaker 4: needs to get rid of this fifty You got a
- 35:05Speaker 4: fifty three man roster, but you only dress forty seven.
- 35:08Speaker 4: He's like, well, why can't I just drink dress all
- 35:10Speaker 4: fifty three? Why? He was right, because Vegas, Vegas. You
- 35:21Speaker 4: need to minimize who can touch the ball and have
- 35:24Speaker 4: a little more direct to be able to bet if
- 35:27Speaker 4: you act. If I let you have all fifty three,
- 35:30Speaker 4: now it's a possibility that's seven.
- 35:34Speaker 2: We may have to actually go with the odds. We
- 35:37Speaker 2: may have to calculate odds.
- 35:38Speaker 4: Yeah. So, but Philip rivers, it'd be interesting to start
- 35:43Speaker 4: in that game if he starts, if he plays, and
- 35:45Speaker 4: as I said, my thing is, I think that if anything,
- 35:48Speaker 4: he has advantage, he can manage the offense the negative.
- 35:52Speaker 4: Everybody else is in real game shape, and even quarterbacks
- 35:57Speaker 4: have to have some type of feel because it's going
- 36:02Speaker 4: to be moving quickly, very quickly, very quickly. Was you
- 36:06Speaker 4: gonna tell him what I hadn't seen? Yeah?
- 36:10Speaker 7: DJ Duke said, what about Teddy Bridgewaters. He's not on
- 36:13Speaker 7: the teams, he's on the bulls. Okay, Yeah, I went
- 36:17Speaker 7: through my roller decks. That's what I'm saying throughout the show.
- 36:20Speaker 7: If you think of somebody a great game to play.
- 36:25Speaker 4: Teddy had been coaching high school and then Tampa went out.
- 36:31Speaker 4: It's only what been a year.
- 36:33Speaker 24: Well, he was signed by the when he was coaching
- 36:34Speaker 24: last year. Didn't Detroit signed him to be Yeah.
- 36:38Speaker 4: So he's been kind of the same. But I couldn't
- 36:40Speaker 4: think of someone that I was trying to think of
- 36:48Speaker 4: at this point of the year. It has to be
- 36:49Speaker 4: a free agent you could call, You could call r
- 36:52Speaker 4: G three. No Cam, you know, Cam, Cam and Colin
- 37:03Speaker 4: to me, is it they just and not just on
- 37:06Speaker 4: the drug thing, but just on the situation of the
- 37:09Speaker 4: media attention to be a circus that I would bring,
- 37:15Speaker 4: you know, to be able to try to even fit
- 37:16Speaker 4: that in in a week, That's what I'm trying to say.
- 37:18Speaker 4: We got four games, We gotta go. We got no
- 37:20Speaker 4: time for any of what you're talking about. Well, I
- 37:24Speaker 4: got to do. I gotta do my podcast. You can't trade.
- 37:28Speaker 4: You can't trade from DJ Duke. It has to be
- 37:31Speaker 4: somebody who's just as a free agent City and Jos
- 37:36Speaker 4: Josh Rosen is in business school right now. And the
- 37:39Speaker 4: only thing I've seen close to this was years back
- 37:41Speaker 4: with Vinnie Testa Verdi. I think the Jets called him
- 37:46Speaker 4: back or somebody called him Panthers call. Yeah, somebody called
- 37:50Speaker 4: him back at the back like a three year absence
- 37:53Speaker 4: in the middle of the season to bring him back
- 37:55Speaker 4: onto the field. Huh, okay the Panthers, hey ssd uh.
- 38:02Speaker 4: When we come back, we'll go up to Michigan and
- 38:06Speaker 4: see what's going on with coach More. So many details
- 38:11Speaker 4: is we're gonna have to let it air out a
- 38:13Speaker 4: little bit, but Michigan has decided to part ways. It's
- 38:16Speaker 4: developing quickly with Sharon More. We'll be back with more

- 39:46Speaker 15: chasing laser pointers into walls or jumping onto high shelves.
- 39:53Speaker 15: But the one thing cats never do text while driving.
- 39:57Speaker 15: So be like a cat and protect You're one in
- 39:59Speaker 15: oh life. Don't text and drive.
- 40:02Speaker 10: Don't drive distracted, A message brought to you by the

- 40:12Speaker 13: Don't act like that, don't wear that, don't think that.
- 40:17Speaker 13: I've heard everything you tell yourself every time you felt different,
- 40:21Speaker 13: and I want you to know that you can be
- 40:23Speaker 13: vulnerable and powerful.
- 40:26Speaker 22: That taking care.
- 40:27Speaker 13: Of your mind is taking care of everyone you love

- 40:44Speaker 27: And now back to the sports John Wayne Gandy, it's way.
- 41:08Speaker 4: Logon. Say you can see a sports chain, I'll sing
- 41:13Speaker 4: even Welcome back to the Sports Shock Shun the sports Shock.
- 41:18Speaker 4: Wayne Kenny. Good morning to you out there in listening land.
- 41:21Speaker 4: The bad producer, Uh, the funny man, Big Kenny himself, uh,
- 41:27Speaker 4: and command you Greg in the building. You got your
- 41:30Speaker 4: church finger up.
- 41:30Speaker 6: Go.
- 41:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I had I had a thought.
- 41:32Speaker 7: And we we talk about the old with Philip Rivers
- 41:37Speaker 7: and being older and we forget this this that's their profession.
- 41:42Speaker 7: And uh, it made me go back in between the break,
- 41:45Speaker 7: I was just telling you, I remember when the Hawks
- 41:48Speaker 7: had a thing one time, a challenge too Change was
- 41:51Speaker 7: supposed to shoot against Dominique because Too Chain played at
- 41:54Speaker 7: Alabama State and everybody the building Chain is gonna beat Dominique.
- 41:58Speaker 4: Man, this man, and even myself.
- 42:00Speaker 7: I sat there and I started watching Dominique shoot, even
- 42:02Speaker 7: in his fifties.
- 42:03Speaker 4: I'm like, that's what he does. That's that's his profession.
- 42:06Speaker 7: So with that being said, I'm just saying that sometime
- 42:09Speaker 7: we forget that's that's their profession. They did it from that,
- 42:15Speaker 7: from that moment where they're eight years old they wanted
- 42:18Speaker 7: to be professional, or your case when you was told, hey,
- 42:21Speaker 7: he go to football helmet.
- 42:23Speaker 4: That's their job. That's their profession.
- 42:25Speaker 7: It's rooted in them and they're gonna be They're gonna
- 42:28Speaker 7: give you the best that they can with what ability
- 42:32Speaker 7: that they have in it.
- 42:33Speaker 4: So that's all. I just had that thought. And why
- 42:35Speaker 4: would someone think that to Chains the culture, the culture.
- 42:41Speaker 4: You know, hey to change out he he that, but
- 42:47Speaker 4: this is like to dominate you remember that that night
- 42:53Speaker 4: when it I didn't see it, but two chains could
- 42:56Speaker 4: shoot like Dominique. He'd have been in the NBA. That
- 42:58Speaker 4: must see what people don't that house he because.
- 43:00Speaker 24: I'm older basketball players like the jumper really never goes away.
- 43:08Speaker 4: It's the height, the jump, the movement and all that.
- 43:11Speaker 4: I have told you many and many many times before.
- 43:14Speaker 4: If you could do it, you would have been there.
- 43:18Speaker 4: I don't know why people have this. You can't guard
- 43:21Speaker 4: Jeff TG. You're just lying. You cannot cover Jamar Chase.
- 43:31Speaker 4: Other professional NBA players couldn't guard Dominique, So what would
- 43:38Speaker 4: make you think that there's a and and No. I'm
- 43:45Speaker 4: just saying this once again because I always have to
- 43:46Speaker 4: give this little speech. Let your high school little whatever
- 43:52Speaker 4: you were doing, stay there. I know your imagination. And
- 43:57Speaker 4: that's why sports is such a huge billion dollar business.
- 44:00Speaker 4: It sells the family the fantasy that you also the
- 44:05Speaker 4: only reason you ain't make it because you ain't have
- 44:07Speaker 4: the right shoes. It sells you that kind of thing.
- 44:11Speaker 4: The bad producer really thinks he can cover drunk. He
- 44:17Speaker 4: has these ideas and dreams that that one touchdown catch
- 44:22Speaker 4: he had now.
- 44:23Speaker 2: But if he had started early like Tiger Daddy started him. See,
- 44:27Speaker 2: he just to start early enough.
- 44:31Speaker 4: If he had started think about what sports is, you
- 44:35Speaker 4: can always get in on it. But if I'd had
- 44:41Speaker 4: the right shoes, Well, you can wake up at twenty
- 44:43Speaker 4: five with the right shoes and go get on a team.
- 44:47Speaker 4: If you have the talent, you can go join an
- 44:50Speaker 4: NBA team right now. If you can go show a
- 44:53Speaker 4: coach why he should invite you to camp, you can
- 44:56Speaker 4: do it. There is no rule of how you can
- 45:02Speaker 4: go do it right now. Well, Michael lewis a teammate
- 45:06Speaker 4: of mind with the Saints. He went to a tryout.
- 45:08Speaker 4: They just said the Saints had a tryout. He was
- 45:11Speaker 4: a truck driver. Well, he went to the practice. He ran,
- 45:16Speaker 4: you know, a four to three. They made him the kick.
- 45:19Speaker 4: You can go right now, all you people two change
- 45:22Speaker 4: comes in to change. Probably wasn't even the best player
- 45:24Speaker 4: Alabama State. But you think he can shoot against Dominique.
- 45:28Speaker 4: Why Why? Because because what you don't lose the skill
- 45:36Speaker 4: or the talent. What you lose is the ability to
- 45:39Speaker 4: recover and the physically ability to keep up. That's it.
- 45:50Speaker 4: You can't challenge Reggie Miller to a jump shooting competition.
- 45:54Speaker 4: Larry Bird to shoot you out right now at seventy
- 45:57Speaker 4: in a suit. Someone told the sorry that he did that.
- 46:01Speaker 4: He came to a Pacers practice at like five three.
- 46:04Speaker 4: He still got his blazer on. He just can't get
- 46:07Speaker 4: back on it. That's why he gets in at the
- 46:09Speaker 4: game of half court, that stopping shift. Even when you
- 46:15Speaker 4: watched it, even when you watch the Big Three, you
- 46:17Speaker 4: ever wonder why ice Q because these guys Joe Johnson
- 46:21Speaker 4: in the half court could still be Joe Johnson. But
- 46:23Speaker 4: if I asked him to get back on some transition
- 46:26Speaker 4: defense another for I got the rebound, then I got
- 46:31Speaker 4: a pivot and throw it out to you, And now
- 46:35Speaker 4: I got to run back down.
- 46:37Speaker 2: I got to catch my man, my man already on
- 46:39Speaker 2: the break. Hold on, hold on, okay, I'm gonna stop
- 46:42Speaker 2: here at the half court. Just wait on them come back.
- 46:44Speaker 4: But the Michigan Wolverines have decided. As of Wednesday, Sharon
- 46:49Speaker 4: head coach or Sharon Montmore, was fired. Reports are that
- 46:55Speaker 4: he was allegedly arrested as well and custody. Other rumors
- 47:02Speaker 4: that he had threatened to harm himself, the thirty nine
- 47:06Speaker 4: year old father of three. Other rumors, and that's why
- 47:12Speaker 4: I don't really like to do rumors, So it's hard
- 47:16Speaker 4: to do this story. But so many from dealing with
- 47:19Speaker 4: a staffer. I think we can definitely land on that
- 47:24Speaker 4: that Michigan had the rights to fire him because they
- 47:29Speaker 4: have a no staff policy. Now that, as we learned
- 47:35Speaker 4: years ago from our ad at Savannah State. Yes, yes,
- 47:43Speaker 4: is school school by school by school, case, case by case,
- 47:48Speaker 4: maybe a conference by conference. But you can't take it
- 47:51Speaker 4: and just smear that if you go down to Michigan
- 47:53Speaker 4: State this is a policy because you're sitting there thinking, man,
- 47:56Speaker 4: I'm about to report my neighbor he's dating his But
- 48:00Speaker 4: that's Michigan State State, so that's not there. And we
- 48:04Speaker 4: were surprised. Remember, yeah, we thought that was a blanket
- 48:07Speaker 4: I thought it was a blanket rule rule like players
- 48:10Speaker 4: can't date coaches. But that is really an institutional by
- 48:14Speaker 4: institutional and maybe it's a conference by conference, but it
- 48:18Speaker 4: is not one school for every school.
- 48:21Speaker 6: Uh.
- 48:21Speaker 4: So we'll talk about that on the other side of
- 48:23Speaker 4: the break, because there's a big story. When you talk
- 48:26Speaker 4: about Michigan football, you're talking about one of the top
- 48:30Speaker 4: five six programs in the country as far as boosters,
- 48:35Speaker 4: alumnis and coverage. Will be right back more to Sports

- 50:56Speaker 28: Center court on sports News gossip. Blah blah blah blah.
- 51:06Speaker 12: You see fucker too for the time comes rock this.
- 51:11Speaker 4: You see.
- 51:15Speaker 12: Teaches my hammer banging the world in the shape and
- 51:17Speaker 12: I let it fall.
- 51:20Speaker 4: Welcome back to this what chuck sham, this what shack
- 51:22Speaker 4: Wayne Candy, Good morning to you out there and listening.
- 51:26Speaker 4: When Philip Rivers with the coach, I looked, pulled up
- 51:29Speaker 4: a list of quarterbacks. But the coach baby could have
- 51:33Speaker 4: went and got Matt Ryan. He's only what two years
- 51:37Speaker 4: removed from Indianapolis. But I don't know if that Are
- 51:42Speaker 4: they doing the same thing? Is it the same head coach?
- 51:46Speaker 24: Now, it's because it's a it's a similar system because
- 51:54Speaker 24: Stiking Shane Stike in the head coach was the offensive
- 51:58Speaker 24: coordinator with the Chargers when Philip Rivers was there.
- 52:02Speaker 4: But I also would put Matt under probably couldn't pass
- 52:05Speaker 4: a drug test.
- 52:09Speaker 24: Come on, man, I mean, well, Maddy Ice, who's he
- 52:12Speaker 24: with CBS. I don't know CBS drug test? So not
- 52:15Speaker 24: with all them old cats.
- 52:18Speaker 4: Cataract problem, No, I used it. So r G three,
- 52:23Speaker 4: I mean Matt Ryan could have been possibly Tom. Tom
- 52:30Speaker 4: is not going to do it. He got to give
- 52:32Speaker 4: it out preparation. But he also hasked to He got
- 52:35Speaker 4: to give up his ownership of the Remember that's why
- 52:39Speaker 4: I said, I need you to avoid his I need you
- 52:40Speaker 4: this weekend. You know I need you this weekend, and
- 52:44Speaker 4: I don't have time to work through all this Green.
- 52:47Speaker 7: Would I still would have called him even though it
- 52:49Speaker 7: was all that going on.
- 52:50Speaker 4: But Tom is not gonna come if he doesn't think
- 52:53Speaker 4: he could be the best of him. No, I'm saying
- 52:55Speaker 4: if I lost weight. Yeah, I was just saying that
- 52:58Speaker 4: four weeks like we we only have. Yeah, he would
- 53:01Speaker 4: say something like that. He would need to ponder is
- 53:04Speaker 4: it worth it, you know, scarring my image? Uh? And
- 53:08Speaker 4: we don't know that these calls were not made. These
- 53:12Speaker 4: people could have said no, everybody thinking I'm good. Philip
- 53:18Speaker 4: Rivers could be their sixth phone call. And he trust me,
- 53:23Speaker 4: he wasn't there first. We're not going to the state championship.
- 53:27Speaker 4: We just different guys. Most of the guys are already
- 53:31Speaker 4: on somebody's team. Jacobe Burssett, Kirk Cousins, Tyrod Taylor, Geno Smith,
- 53:38Speaker 4: most of the older heads, Joe Flacco, Andy Dalton, All
- 53:43Speaker 4: these guys are on somebody's team and has to play
- 53:46Speaker 4: already h on the field.
- 53:48Speaker 24: So uh therek right before we get fold the bare
- 53:52Speaker 24: asking me about Carson Wentz, he's still on the Vikings.
- 53:55Speaker 4: He's still on Vikings, Still on Vikings, DJ do. Yeah,
- 53:58Speaker 4: that's what I'm saying, most of the guys, you're gonna
- 54:00Speaker 4: think because there's been a lot of injuries for quarterbacks too. Yeah,
- 54:06Speaker 4: never thought have already. But we left talking about the
- 54:09Speaker 4: head coach of Michigan who was let go, and after
- 54:13Speaker 4: that it sounds like he just has an emotional moment.
- 54:17Speaker 4: Different rumors from bothering outside of his marriage. Kid is
- 54:27Speaker 4: on the table for a lot different stories of surrounding that.
- 54:33Speaker 4: But once again we find ourselves with a coach having
- 54:36Speaker 4: a relationship with a staffer. And I think that's the part.
- 54:41Speaker 4: If you knew it was the rule, then it is
- 54:44Speaker 4: really shame on you. You have to put all the
- 54:50Speaker 4: all the weight on coach more. If this is the byelaw,
- 54:55Speaker 4: not only are you married with three kids in the
- 54:58Speaker 4: head coach of one of the most prestigious football programs ever,
- 55:06Speaker 4: you already knew the byelaw. So come guys, I don't
- 55:11Speaker 4: have a and this, yeah, this is ain't even your
- 55:14Speaker 4: first year. This you've been You're Michigan, dude. You've been
- 55:19Speaker 4: there for a while. You've been there, to know, since
- 55:22Speaker 4: he was eighteen.
- 55:23Speaker 2: So I'm saying, if anybody can be saying I'm a
- 55:27Speaker 2: Michigan guy, he can say I'm Michigan.
- 55:29Speaker 4: So I don't know, I can anybody find a crevice
- 55:32Speaker 4: of sympathy or it's just the fleet that goes with
- 55:36Speaker 4: the dog.
- 55:37Speaker 24: He he he underestimated how much uh much influence and
- 55:46Speaker 24: power he may actually have that that as the head
- 55:49Speaker 24: coach of Michigan. I know whatever, No, it wasn't that. Yeah,
- 55:53Speaker 24: and well for him to go, well let's well let's
- 55:56Speaker 24: go at that far. Yeah, but let's go with Okay,
- 55:58Speaker 24: that's the fantasy. Still worry coach Sharon Coach Moore finds
- 56:03Speaker 24: out that a young lady, the staffer who he's not
- 56:05Speaker 24: supposed to be with, is pregnant. He wants the young
- 56:08Speaker 24: lady to have an abortion. He orders a playing b
- 56:13Speaker 24: pill to take to her. She doesn't take it. He's
- 56:15Speaker 24: emotional now he's about to lose his wife. He goes
- 56:18Speaker 24: to another assistant coach house, where he threatens to hurt himself.
- 56:23Speaker 4: Cops are called. He's calling the radically at the young lady.
- 56:27Speaker 4: I got all that at Michigan. I just went through
- 56:33Speaker 4: all of this with the guy that hired you, who's
- 56:37Speaker 4: now with the Chargers. If you don't know that you're
- 56:42Speaker 4: you're on a plane that is very thin, then how
- 56:49Speaker 4: are you overestimating your power? I'm just saying, you make
- 56:54Speaker 4: it hard to help me help you. Where where am
- 57:00Speaker 4: I to stand up in front of anybody as any
- 57:03Speaker 4: kind of official validated word and say, wait a minute, man,
- 57:08Speaker 4: let's think this through. What happened to thinking this through
- 57:11Speaker 4: before all of this transpired? Again, This is not uh.
- 57:16Speaker 4: We were out and I made a bad decision and
- 57:19Speaker 4: things went left. This is I know what you're gonna
- 57:23Speaker 4: do to me, and now I got to show you
- 57:25Speaker 4: what we're gonna do to you. Man. Look if it
- 57:28Speaker 4: was left up to me, I mean, we all got
- 57:30Speaker 4: a side baby, Am I right? We all got a
- 57:32Speaker 4: side baby at Michigan. I'm just saying, come on, man,
- 57:37Speaker 4: it's some people that would just I would stick next
- 57:39Speaker 4: to you. It's not my moral outrage that has me
- 57:42Speaker 4: firing you. I didn't mess with staffords. We've all got
- 57:46Speaker 4: a secret relationship with a staffer and we know it's wrong.
- 57:49Speaker 4: Am I right? But you got caught, and now that
- 57:53Speaker 4: you caught, we have to do something.
- 57:55Speaker 2: I can't stand in and be like, no, it's cool,
- 57:57Speaker 2: because everybody knows this.
- 58:00Speaker 4: We understepped further as to go to break. We knew
- 58:04Speaker 4: you were dealing with the staffer and we were letting
- 58:09Speaker 4: it go. But then you go have this incident where
- 58:14Speaker 4: now you have if these things are true, father the kid,
- 58:20Speaker 4: we can't overlook that. So the room we were giving you,
- 58:27Speaker 4: and you keep saying he won a national championship, was
- 58:29Speaker 4: he the head coach? I didn't think he was. He
- 58:33Speaker 4: was on the staff, but he wasn't the head coach.
- 58:37Speaker 4: So the leeway we were giving you, Bobby Patrino was fine.
- 58:40Speaker 4: We knew you was with the lady until you crashed
- 58:43Speaker 4: the motorcycle and then left her on the side of
- 58:45Speaker 4: the street and then went to the police office and
- 58:48Speaker 4: told him you don't know what you're talking about. But look,
- 58:51Speaker 4: now we didn't all crash the motorcycle. And look, but
- 58:53Speaker 4: you go the side of the street. I right, Am
- 58:56Speaker 4: I right? I don't know what you're talking about. Officers?
- 59:01Speaker 4: Your bike? You said, under are you? Yes? What was
- 59:07Speaker 4: it stolen? I had let her borrow it? Okay? What like?
- 59:12Speaker 4: What's wrong with your neck? Why are you bleeding? Got
- 59:15Speaker 4: your ear? You got all these scratches on your face?
- 59:18Speaker 4: What happened to you? She jacked me from my bike
- 59:23Speaker 4: it would have them and knocked me off the bike,
- 59:25Speaker 4: and then she took it the wreck That's what I remember. Well, Bobby,
- 59:28Speaker 4: did you know that she has a picture of you
- 59:30Speaker 4: and her on the bike as her screensaver? What what
- 59:35Speaker 4: she so? She knocked me unconscious and post me for pictures,
- 59:39Speaker 4: then stole my bike standing in front of a welcome
- 59:44Speaker 4: to Hawaii sign. Okay, we did go to Oh what's
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: your dude? Don't go away?
- 1:00:05Speaker 11: More of the Sports Josh Show with Wayne Gandydis dumbing
- 1:00:08Speaker 11: out next.
- 1:00:11Speaker 19: Remember always be generous with the netmey just diebal it.

- 1:02:11Speaker 22: Come so far comes that comes a month?
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: Is it just.
- 1:02:19Speaker 8: I'm doing?
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm gonna go on the way you Welcome back
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: to the Sportshock Show. I'm in the Sports Shock Wayne Candy.
- 1:02:27Speaker 4: Good morning to you out there in this thing Land.
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: Glad to be here with you. The crew is in
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: the building, Big Kenny, the fundy man himself comand you
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: Greg Bad Producer. We got our man DJ Duke in
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: the building as well. As I said, Thursday Night football,
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: the Falcons having went out and get some help down
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: and Tampa to take on the Bucks tonight. To me,
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: the preseason, I mean Thursday night game stop right now.
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: Everybody should start syncing up to the same schedule. Nobody
- 1:02:56Speaker 4: should be on a short week to get their work done.
- 1:02:59Speaker 4: That that you know, That's just me as a fairness
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: kind of a guy. Similar to the high school game tonight,
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: once the judge did rule for Gainesville, they shift the
- 1:03:10Speaker 4: calendar to fit them, to make sure everybody was on
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: the right schedule, had the right amount of time both teams.
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: And I just always thought that about Thursday night game,
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: there's a window for that, and then everybody needs to
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: get on more of that six day rest. Nobody should
- 1:03:25Speaker 4: be this far in the season playing on Sunday and
- 1:03:28Speaker 4: then seventy two hours later playing another game. It's already
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: hard fifteen fourteen games in to recover and I'm still
- 1:03:38Speaker 4: on that short week. That's a lot ask commands.
- 1:03:41Speaker 24: Yet, well, I want to ask that I think the
- 1:03:44Speaker 24: rule is every team has to play at least one
- 1:03:48Speaker 24: Thursday night game. What would you think of more than
- 1:03:54Speaker 24: more than one Thursday night game? Just so like by
- 1:03:58Speaker 24: the time we get to week fourteen fifteen, maybe can
- 1:04:05Speaker 24: get the proper.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: Maybe were trying to early in the season load you
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: up on three Thursday night games.
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: I think that you can. The old school way was
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: better for me, where games like Monday night and games
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: like Thursday night were always teams that made the playoffs,
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: teams that are good. That's why they went to that
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: whole flex thing. So that if you found yourself with
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: a game late in the season and one team is
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: three and nine, they could flex it to something else.
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: So you know, you're trying to make sure make the
- 1:04:40Speaker 4: rule that everybody has to have a Thursday night game
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: within a three year cycle to shorten it back, who's going,
- 1:04:51Speaker 4: I didn't have one last year, but I got my
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: it's my numbers up, so this year we got to
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: have one. So you know, because no player is with this.
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: Nobody wants to play a game on Sunday and then
- 1:05:03Speaker 4: play a game on Thursday. But Twin, they just because
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: you're saying we can wear all red or all lines.
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: But that's what I'm saying to it.
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: Don't worry about the recovery, Twin, We're gonna get them
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: advertising dollars and y'all could web all blue from head
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: to toe.
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: Vic Kenny and the bad producer tells me that Uncle
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: Charlie out there saying, because he's a Wolverine fan, that
- 1:05:26Speaker 4: all this news is fake faith news. Might want to
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: go tell the Michigan police to play no. Obviously they
- 1:05:34Speaker 4: have some reasons. Somebody called them. They playing evidence. They
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: were not in the neighborhood. They got a call that
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: the head coach of Michigan is over here doing something
- 1:05:46Speaker 4: so I don't know what part is fake. Michigan firing
- 1:05:50Speaker 4: him is not fake. The police coming out is not fake.
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: We will soon find out if there is a child.
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: Right wait, I'm just saying this with Ai AI.
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: All of this could be so you know, it's just
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: a decision. As we said every other year, someone the
- 1:06:10Speaker 4: athletic director here in Atlanta for the Georgia Bulldog years ago. Yeah,
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: it's always somewhere a coach, I said by Petrino. He
- 1:06:19Speaker 4: was at Louisville at the time, right Arkansas, Arkansas at
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: the time that all that happened, and a d here
- 1:06:25Speaker 4: Georgia was pulled over the d UI with his assistant.
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: Wasn't it with assistant I think, or with a lady
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: of the night or something like that.
- 1:06:34Speaker 7: So somebody had no business being with I mean, but
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: we now been pulled over the d U. I got
- 1:06:40Speaker 7: somebody where he's supposed to be whatever.
- 1:06:42Speaker 4: And as I said, your sympathy goes out when a
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: guy that has been part of the blue blood part
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: of Michigan all this time is sitting there and knowing
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: that this is the rule and how and the thing
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: that gets me is the human condition.
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: Now nobody's perfect, but you so you so intent on
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: being flawed that you gonna knock down every domino. I mean,
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: you didn't go at least the guy Georgia went and
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: got a lady that wasn't supposed to be where he
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: was supposed to be when he that kind of stuff.
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: You just right across the hall.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: You did the lady that come into the office every day,
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: and you just how reckless do you want to be
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: with all of this?
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: And That's what I'm saying.
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: I just can't imagine that your human condition was your
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: fatal flaw.
- 1:07:41Speaker 4: I just can't imagine that part. W NBA star Asia
- 1:07:45Speaker 4: Wilson earns AP Female Athlete of the Year. Show A
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: or Tany wins his fourth AP Male Athlete of the
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: Year three times out of four of the aces led
- 1:07:59Speaker 4: by Asia Willlson has won the WNBA Championship. She is
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: undoubtedly the best player in the WNBA. I don't think
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: anybody argues that at all. Showhatany is putting things out
- 1:08:15Speaker 4: there that our grandkids are not going to believe. It's
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: been that long, and as I said, even when you
- 1:08:24Speaker 4: hear about it, you can imagine one hundred whatever it
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: has been since someone like a babe ruth because show
- 1:08:32Speaker 4: he just does what a lot of us from the
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: back in the day times where you grow up typically
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: in learning baseball, where you pitch and hit, you didn't
- 1:08:46Speaker 4: just specialize. You stayed. You had to get real good.
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: You had to go to college or pros before they
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: took the ability from you. And even in the pros,
- 1:08:54Speaker 4: you had to be in the AL because the Major
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: League Baseball did all ways have a designated hitter for
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: the National League. So but for him to go out
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: and show us and dazzle that he could be dominant
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: on both sides in the same game, we've seen him
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: scrap out ten people and hit three home runs, so
- 1:09:18Speaker 4: rightfully deserving. I don't think in any question can I
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: wouldn't even imagine who they were competing against once you
- 1:09:25Speaker 4: see what they have done, And especially for the Aces
- 1:09:28Speaker 4: who kind of really back into the playoffs, they were
- 1:09:33Speaker 4: not even in the jig got hot and Asia Wilson
- 1:09:37Speaker 4: took him to the championship.
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: Earlier in the week, we asked the question if the
- 1:09:41Speaker 2: WNBA disappeared, would anybody miss it? Do you think that
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: the reason that people are so intent on keeping the
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: WNBA around is because the Asia Wilson's make it worth
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: giving it a shot. These athletes deserve a place to
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: play state side. They deserve a platform from which to
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: display their talent. So every every one of them are
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: gonna be Asia Wilson, and every game ain't gonna be
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: a let's tuney in game. But when we have her
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: on the court, we at least got to give it
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: time to catch on well.
- 1:10:17Speaker 7: And I think a lot of them are trying to
- 1:10:20Speaker 7: stop going across the pond the plant because well, one thing,
- 1:10:26Speaker 7: the incident will happen with Brittany Grinder. But they're that's
- 1:10:30Speaker 7: I think they're like a lot of them, they were
- 1:10:32Speaker 7: subsidizing they income go over there. They make more money
- 1:10:35Speaker 7: overseas than they do actually here at the w n
- 1:10:38Speaker 7: b A. But that's why the pushes to try to
- 1:10:41Speaker 7: raise their salary because they really don't want them going
- 1:10:44Speaker 7: across going overseas really anymore.
- 1:10:47Speaker 4: Well, I pay you based on the idea that we're
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: going to make money. Everybody seems to deal with the
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: w n b A as though it's high school sports.
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: And that's what I'm saying. You haven't been going overseas
- 1:11:04Speaker 4: because I've been losing money. That's what the owners keep
- 1:11:08Speaker 4: telling you. We did a twenty five year loss, and
- 1:11:13Speaker 4: then as soon as you have a year of progress,
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: you want to increase, and we're gonna you want us
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: to keep taking a loss. How many of you gonna
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: not recoup your money before you start paying somebody extra.
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: That's that's just business. We made the deal. I gave
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: you the million dollars. After you give me the million
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: dollars back, then we can go fifty to fifty. But
- 1:11:41Speaker 4: until I get my million dollars back, I got one
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: hundred and fifty g's back.
- 1:11:45Speaker 2: So it's like and we in the nineteenth year of
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: a twenty five year deal. I was supposed to be
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: making profit ten years ago, but you still got me
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: short eight fifty.
- 1:12:00Speaker 4: I ain't even I ain't even broke even yet. So
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: everybody and you more money. That component of going overseas
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: as though it's a function that you haven't gotten to
- 1:12:09Speaker 4: that point. You just have kind of cracked that egg
- 1:12:12Speaker 4: where people may come out consistently to see us.
- 1:12:19Speaker 7: They paying the sea right now. Well, the young I
- 1:12:22Speaker 7: don't know, she still owns the dream. But the young
- 1:12:25Speaker 7: lady who had the spanks was one of the owners
- 1:12:27Speaker 7: at one time. Do you think that they think that
- 1:12:30Speaker 7: a lot of the w NBA owners are like the
- 1:12:32Speaker 7: owners from the NFL and Basic League Baseball, This is
- 1:12:35Speaker 7: just a hobby or rite off, or we just bought
- 1:12:38Speaker 7: this team because this is something.
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: In the business. What I make somewhere else has nothing
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: to do with what I make with you. I understand that,
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: But you're acting like I'm supposed to take some of
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: my billions from another business deal and not worry about
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: That's not That's not how I got this billion business
- 1:12:57Speaker 4: is this? But you looked at this as a No,
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: I looked at I don't look at any investments as
- 1:13:01Speaker 4: a toy.
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: Toy, but that's you know, that's a toy. You watch
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: too many movies. I That's what I'm saying, you watch
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: too many movies. Well, look, I've got seven billion in
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: a blow. Nobody has that kind of money to just
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: throw away. That's why they make business investments to make
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: a profit. Business is about profit. It's not even about
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: making money, it's about making profit. So the fact that
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: I have money but I'm not profiting and I could
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: just and even that.
- 1:13:30Speaker 4: Kind of thought right there is the same thing when
- 1:13:32Speaker 4: I just said about how everybody wants to deal with
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: the WNBA like it's high school. I'm sitting here and
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: telling you since year one, you haven't made a profit zero. Oh,
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: and I need my money back and then we can
- 1:13:46Speaker 4: negotiate all this. Oh we need more of the Yeah,
- 1:13:50Speaker 4: we can do all that once I get my money back.
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: And you're twenty four more years in arrears, hate you
- 1:14:00Speaker 4: the example everything, and my wife argue, how come I
- 1:14:03Speaker 4: can't get no money in this shop? You still paying
- 1:14:06Speaker 4: for the w NBA sports doc show.
- 1:14:10Speaker 5: Right after this, they form a huddle was what like
- 1:14:14Speaker 5: they want trouble? Some of the ice girls and toray
- 1:14:16Speaker 5: water puddles make the brown wanna leave on a humble

- 1:14:25Speaker 4: Coming up next. Old on.
- 1:14:39Speaker 31: Imagine home. The smell of coffee, the sound of a lawnmower,

- 1:17:53Speaker 4: be the guy that I don't know to play for
- 1:17:56Speaker 4: the Hawks. I mean, come on, man, y'all, guys, I'll
- 1:17:59Speaker 4: be minimizing roball so much. That is fun me. When
- 1:18:06Speaker 4: you watch people, and I'm not talking about you, I'm
- 1:18:09Speaker 4: just talking about people in general. When they watch something,
- 1:18:14Speaker 4: they start, you know, sitting at the barber shop and
- 1:18:17Speaker 4: how you can guard Jeff t. It's like, I don't
- 1:18:21Speaker 4: get these ideas when I watch. I don't think I
- 1:18:25Speaker 4: can get in the ring with any professional boxer. Man, people,
- 1:18:32Speaker 4: I'm getting in the ring with a professional box with
- 1:18:35Speaker 4: a two by four. But I don't think I can
- 1:18:37Speaker 4: get in even the little little white What's what's the
- 1:18:41Speaker 4: way it's gonna be moving so quick? Bro? I know
- 1:18:48Speaker 4: you think your handgame, no, But when he moved to
- 1:18:52Speaker 4: the right and hit you in one kidney and then
- 1:18:54Speaker 4: move to the left and hit you in your left ear,
- 1:18:57Speaker 4: and you thought he was still in front of you,
- 1:19:00Speaker 4: it's gonna seem like he was still in front of you.
- 1:19:02Speaker 4: But and you're gonna be thinking this dud be practicing
- 1:19:07Speaker 4: you and DJ gonna go to the way, man, what
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: was my pistol at? Because I ain't got time for
- 1:19:12Speaker 4: all this. No, I'm not even getting in the ring
- 1:19:14Speaker 4: with him. And then you're gonna think, okay, but if
- 1:19:16Speaker 4: I get me a good hit on him, that's gonna
- 1:19:18Speaker 4: be it. And then all he do is spit Ah,
- 1:19:22Speaker 4: you're gonna hit people with God, we just gotta hit
- 1:19:25Speaker 4: the guy, get hit in the face. My birthdays here today,
- 1:19:31Speaker 4: going into the weekend, and the Baddosa still really believes
- 1:19:35Speaker 4: that he can beat VJ, sing.
- 1:19:37Speaker 7: Hey, you get me in with the handicaps if you
- 1:19:40Speaker 7: get a no, no no, But that's why no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:19:43Speaker 7: no no, no, no no, let me let me no no.
- 1:19:45Speaker 4: No, want me to you want me to move you
- 1:19:47Speaker 4: up on the on the you can I explain because
- 1:19:49Speaker 4: the rules of golf.
- 1:19:50Speaker 7: Golf has made it where there's a handicap system and
- 1:19:53Speaker 7: beating my handicap.
- 1:19:55Speaker 4: No.
- 1:19:55Speaker 7: What I'm saying is I get so many shots if
- 1:19:57Speaker 7: I play against VJ or Tiger, y'all get no no, no, no,
- 1:20:01Speaker 7: no no here from the same team. No no, no,
- 1:20:04Speaker 7: no no no. It's the rules of the golf has
- 1:20:06Speaker 7: made it so. You could bet I could beat VJ
- 1:20:09Speaker 7: if I get the right amount of shots.
- 1:20:11Speaker 4: If he gets the right we all could beat DJ.
- 1:20:14Speaker 4: And if we get the right amount of shots, if
- 1:20:16Speaker 4: I could just kich you just let me just go unlimitless.
- 1:20:20Speaker 7: Now you don't want the object of the game is
- 1:20:22Speaker 7: the least amount of shots. But when I'm saying, if
- 1:20:25Speaker 7: I get the right amount to create to be able
- 1:20:28Speaker 7: to have the least amount, I could beat it, right
- 1:20:31Speaker 7: and uh.

- 1:28:30Speaker 28: my buddy.
- 1:28:38Speaker 25: To dwe twe.
- 1:28:47Speaker 4: Welcome back to Sportshock Show. I'm the Sports Shock Wayne Gandy.
- 1:28:51Speaker 4: Good morning to you out there. Uh the Orlando Magic
- 1:28:55Speaker 4: Desmond Baine find again for thirty five thousand dollars were
- 1:29:00Speaker 4: unsports spelling like conduct through a basketball at New York
- 1:29:04Speaker 4: Knicks og over Nabie in the most recent game. He
- 1:29:11Speaker 4: was fined for this a couple of weeks ago for
- 1:29:14Speaker 4: throwing the ball. Guys, why are the NBA? I think
- 1:29:18Speaker 4: they need to band Dasmond bang. You're intentionally pull the
- 1:29:25Speaker 4: plays up. You're intentionally taking the ball and hitting people
- 1:29:29Speaker 4: with it.
- 1:29:29Speaker 24: You're intentionally he said, he was falling out of bound.
- 1:29:34Speaker 4: I don't know he was standing. He was standing almost
- 1:29:37Speaker 4: near the free throw line and he threw the ball.
- 1:29:41Speaker 4: Big kidding. Why are why are they playing thirty five grand?
- 1:29:44Speaker 4: And he's making jokes. I'll just recoup it at the
- 1:29:48Speaker 4: team the tournament thing in Vegas. What's what's that NBA Cup?
- 1:29:53Speaker 4: NBA Cup? That's why because.
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: You you'll let me get away with it. And now
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: this one that he just the one where he hit
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: the next player.
- 1:30:10Speaker 4: Yeah, I think this was like three or four days ago.
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: Yeah, that first he launches the ball, let him, and
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: then he does some like it was an accident or
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: the ball went out of bounds and hit him first,
- 1:30:21Speaker 2: and it's our ball. And the NBA is letting them,
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: as they say, play in their face. You playing in
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: my face, and I'm letting you play in my face.
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: So why would you stop?
- 1:30:32Speaker 4: If?
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: I don't know if you've ever heard anybody complain about
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: a situation that they continuously participate in. I can't believe
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: that he's cheating on me. Well you called him three
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: times and you still with him. I can't believe she
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: spends all my money. Well she's run up four of
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: your credit cards and you keep telling her to stop,
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: and then you give her another credit card. So I mean,
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: all of these things are you You're allowing this? Obviously
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: he's got something wrong with him. He can't control his anger,
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: and when he gets angry, he lashes out. Maybe he
- 1:31:05Speaker 2: hits people in his personal life, but here on the court,
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: he throws the basketball.
- 1:31:09Speaker 4: That's his go to bad producer, referee.
- 1:31:12Speaker 7: Yeah, something's wrong with him, and it's something that it
- 1:31:18Speaker 7: goes back. He's got away with a lot of things
- 1:31:20Speaker 7: in the past because you're not just gonna get to
- 1:31:22Speaker 7: the professional level and feel like you could throw the
- 1:31:24Speaker 7: ball at somebody and I want the referees. I wouldn't
- 1:31:28Speaker 7: mind seeing somebody Charles Oakley Hill Ork and for you
- 1:31:31Speaker 7: out there to paint the picture a little clearer. We're
- 1:31:33Speaker 7: not talking about diving out of bounds or sometimes you
- 1:31:36Speaker 7: see a.
- 1:31:36Speaker 4: Guy trying to say throw it off the other player. No,
- 1:31:41Speaker 4: the guy he's throwing out the ball at is a
- 1:31:43Speaker 4: person who is making a basket and either falls to
- 1:31:47Speaker 4: the floor or kind of his momentum takes him out
- 1:31:50Speaker 4: of bounds. Why they're doing that. He gets the ball
- 1:31:53Speaker 4: out of the net, turns and intentionally like dodgeball, throws
- 1:32:01Speaker 4: and hits with violent intent. And it's only thirty five,
- 1:32:07Speaker 4: it's been two incidents, so it'd be interesting you imagine
- 1:32:10Speaker 4: someone as we're saying that, and then he argues the
- 1:32:13Speaker 4: point that that's the distance gonna happen. Claimed he was
- 1:32:17Speaker 4: falling out of bounds, he was standing at the free throw.
- 1:32:19Speaker 4: What's gonna happen if someone's gonna put hands on him?
- 1:32:22Speaker 4: And then you're gonna want to give me three games
- 1:32:24Speaker 4: for that. Yeah, and you're gonna want it. And that's
- 1:32:26Speaker 4: what that's just like.
- 1:32:27Speaker 7: I was watching the Oklahoma City Suns game last night,
- 1:32:30Speaker 7: and you watch these guys do different things. There was
- 1:32:32Speaker 7: a player I'm not gonna call his name. He hit
- 1:32:34Speaker 7: the rookie chet homegrown and he actually did.
- 1:32:37Speaker 4: It like that. I thought you would call his name.
- 1:32:40Speaker 4: I don't call their name while we protecting them because
- 1:32:42Speaker 4: he because he went to Duke. Anyway, he's a dirty player.
- 1:32:47Speaker 4: We know anyway, we know who he is.
- 1:32:49Speaker 7: But he actually does it, and they gave him a
- 1:32:51Speaker 7: flagrant two instead of a flagrant run.
- 1:32:53Speaker 4: He got ejected.
- 1:32:54Speaker 7: But the thing that was funny to me, as soon
- 1:32:56Speaker 7: as he pushed the guy check, he goes and sits
- 1:32:58Speaker 7: on the bitch while everybody us on the floor about
- 1:33:00Speaker 7: the fight, and he's just sitting back like did I
- 1:33:03Speaker 7: do that? So my thing is I wish they would
- 1:33:06Speaker 7: allow them sometime for players like that who do things
- 1:33:09Speaker 7: in that manner.
- 1:33:10Speaker 4: They don't say Duke players names because I've heard him
- 1:33:13Speaker 4: say Zion Williams. I've heard him use Grant Hills name.
- 1:33:16Speaker 4: Well only one if you go there one color thing
- 1:33:20Speaker 4: because Grayson Allen is white. Don't let your racism do
- 1:33:25Speaker 4: take your emotions. I like when Quinn Snyder and Danny Ferry,
- 1:33:29Speaker 4: I just said, you don't say duke player names, and
- 1:33:32Speaker 4: now you just routed off to I'm talking about certain
- 1:33:35Speaker 4: duke players. That certain duke players.
- 1:33:44Speaker 2: That's how people start king in on stuff, certain duke players.
- 1:33:48Speaker 4: Now what we do.
- 1:33:49Speaker 7: We go back and we see, we know what type
- 1:33:52Speaker 7: of player he was? Nowowski, we know what kind of
- 1:33:55Speaker 7: players they were.
- 1:33:56Speaker 2: Okay, so you said their names, and then we look
- 1:33:59Speaker 2: for a connection between them and your willingness to say
- 1:34:02Speaker 2: them and what do they have in common?
- 1:34:05Speaker 4: They just didn't play ethically to me as in college? Okay,
- 1:34:10Speaker 4: what else did they have?
- 1:34:12Speaker 6: What?
- 1:34:12Speaker 4: What? What part of coaching is that? I want you
- 1:34:16Speaker 4: to ethically get back on defense as we yeahs as
- 1:34:22Speaker 4: a coaching term. Yeah, it's one coach right now that's
- 1:34:26Speaker 4: ethically in jail in Michigan. I've never heard that term
- 1:34:32Speaker 4: in no kind of UH coaching session. To ethically block
- 1:34:37Speaker 4: this man. I was always taught you, we might not
- 1:34:41Speaker 4: be trying out. We we we're gonna miss the bowl game.
- 1:34:45Speaker 4: Why aren't you stopping this man provably. Why is Private
- 1:34:49Speaker 4: getting his gut stocked out? The bad producer? Where you're
- 1:34:55Speaker 4: rere form today Facebook Live.
- 1:34:59Speaker 24: There's the video of Desmond Beans as Bean throwing the ball.
- 1:35:06Speaker 24: He's claiming claiming that he was falling out about falling
- 1:35:09Speaker 24: out of bounds.
- 1:35:11Speaker 4: Is he falling it? Is he falling at all? No,
- 1:35:14Speaker 4: he came to a full stop. And this is the
- 1:35:19Speaker 4: second this looks like like global gym. This against average joes.
- 1:35:23Speaker 4: The season is not even halfway through. He's done this
- 1:35:26Speaker 4: twice twice already, and they only find him a little
- 1:35:29Speaker 4: money right there, and he'll get it back at the
- 1:35:31Speaker 4: Vegas place, get at the playoffs, so along with the
- 1:35:34Speaker 4: other thirty million he probably making. But all he has
- 1:35:38Speaker 4: to do if they ever try and suspend him is go.
- 1:35:40Speaker 4: But but Draymond Green and now toll be it, everybody go?
- 1:35:45Speaker 4: Well they did let draymondsly New York Jets. Chris Boyd,
- 1:35:50Speaker 4: the man that they think I guess uh shot him.
- 1:35:57Speaker 4: They have an arrest in this case. Chris Boyd got
- 1:35:59Speaker 4: shot a couple of weeks ago.
- 1:36:01Speaker 6: Uh.
- 1:36:01Speaker 4: They arrested him up in Buffalo saying he's from Buffalo.
- 1:36:06Speaker 4: Maybe he was trying to get away and went north
- 1:36:10Speaker 4: from New York because this incident happened in New York City. Yeah,
- 1:36:13Speaker 4: so I guess he was trying to hide out, But
- 1:36:17Speaker 4: I don't know how in New York you're gonna shoot
- 1:36:22Speaker 4: a professional football player in the street, in a city
- 1:36:28Speaker 4: that probably has more traffic cam than any place on
- 1:36:34Speaker 4: the planet.
- 1:36:35Speaker 2: Ain't got me on on camera?
- 1:36:39Speaker 4: Still, no, we got no, we don't have your on
- 1:36:41Speaker 4: one camera and you got your eighty eight cameras. You're
- 1:36:50Speaker 4: talking about what is the little camera, ma Rien cam
- 1:36:52Speaker 4: that's everywhere in New York. I mean you can't come
- 1:36:55Speaker 4: on now, you ain't got me on tape. Stilling. No,
- 1:36:57Speaker 4: I'm saying whoever, they didn't give a name, but whoever
- 1:37:00Speaker 4: you are, you should have done this. In Haines City, Florida,
- 1:37:03Speaker 4: we got like one. I don't even think it works.
- 1:37:07Speaker 4: Nobody would have. But in New York you can't be
- 1:37:10Speaker 4: out there just an open face and try to tell
- 1:37:13Speaker 4: these people that we don't have your on.
- 1:37:15Speaker 2: Camera from but look from the side though, Look we
- 1:37:19Speaker 2: got it's grainy.
- 1:37:21Speaker 4: It's not four case. That's not was able to locate
- 1:37:23Speaker 4: you so fast. It's just that I stopped. I stopped
- 1:37:29Speaker 4: at THEE on the way to Buffalo, and they got
- 1:37:33Speaker 4: me using my debit card to pay the toll and
- 1:37:37Speaker 4: the government my easy pass. Uh So, Chris Boyd, I'm
- 1:37:41Speaker 4: quite sure he's happy about that. Terry Rose here, who
- 1:37:45Speaker 4: got caught up in that bombshell gambling case with the
- 1:37:51Speaker 4: mob with Chauncey Billups. One thing about this guy's I've
- 1:37:54Speaker 4: been asking you about the bond. He went to court
- 1:37:57Speaker 4: playt not guilty. He's on a three million dollar bond,
- 1:38:00Speaker 4: and I've asked you guys about bond. Guys like Antonio Brown,
- 1:38:08Speaker 4: even Patrick Beverly recently got bond for like forty or
- 1:38:15Speaker 4: fifty thousand dollars. And these are in shootings and choking.
- 1:38:24Speaker 4: I might have or might not have been gambling, and
- 1:38:29Speaker 4: it's three million. That seems that's that's kind of odd now,
- 1:38:34Speaker 4: even you know, I know you guys love the whole
- 1:38:38Speaker 4: it's the low teito and all that stuff. But I'm
- 1:38:41Speaker 4: talking about the discrepancy. I was just over here rigging
- 1:38:46Speaker 4: a couple of gambling nights at the poker.
- 1:38:48Speaker 2: Yeah, and I'm hoping and I'm hoping my three million.
- 1:38:51Speaker 2: I'm saying, Kenny, choke this sister out I'm talking about
- 1:38:56Speaker 2: she was having intercourse with her boyfriend. Ah, that's not
- 1:39:01Speaker 2: a federal case. But I choked her in Georgia. R
- 1:39:10Speaker 2: Terry Rose here, that's a it's a federal federal case.
- 1:39:13Speaker 4: Antonio Brown is on tape discharging a gun. Forget if
- 1:39:18Speaker 4: you was trying to even do the killing. You you
- 1:39:21Speaker 4: did discharge the gun. No, I'm saying, did you see me? Yes? Oh?
- 1:39:27Speaker 2: Allegedly though until we get to court. That's allegedly. I'm saying.
- 1:39:31Speaker 2: But I did get caught on film doing that.
- 1:39:33Speaker 4: You're just saying you weren't trying to kill him, but
- 1:39:35Speaker 4: you know, yeah, that's what that is what I was saying.
- 1:39:40Speaker 4: So I'm still not understand thinking. I think a three
- 1:39:43Speaker 4: million for none violent sports. I would assert that, in
- 1:39:50Speaker 4: my opinion, won its federal case. And number two, if
- 1:39:53Speaker 4: I say three million, that puts pressure on I ran
- 1:39:55Speaker 4: to Dubai, I know, and it only got it called
- 1:40:00Speaker 4: fifty thousand dollars to come get me from Dubai. I know.
- 1:40:05Speaker 2: I know, but you ain't got nobody. You can give up.
- 1:40:09Speaker 2: You ain't got nobody, you can give up. I just
- 1:40:12Speaker 2: let you out and get to fifty thousand. That's about
- 1:40:14Speaker 2: all we gonna get from you. Everything else is going
- 1:40:16Speaker 2: to cost you to prosecute.
- 1:40:17Speaker 4: Listen, three million dollars is terrorism we're trying to corre
- 1:40:22Speaker 4: we does sound like a terrorism bond.
- 1:40:25Speaker 2: That's where this gaming, that's where the mob money goes.
- 1:40:28Speaker 4: To support terrorism.
- 1:40:29Speaker 2: I see, people, I was just using marked cards and
- 1:40:35Speaker 2: the bond is not. But that money goes to support
- 1:40:40Speaker 2: Blue in the face its own system.
- 1:40:42Speaker 4: Nineteen year old Patrick Beverley, that's what he got charged with.
- 1:40:48Speaker 4: Got home. Didn't like that his sister had decided to
- 1:40:50Speaker 4: do whatever she was doing in the house with her
- 1:40:52Speaker 4: boyfriend because at first I thought he did it like,
- 1:40:56Speaker 4: oh man, he caught somebody in there raping his sister.
- 1:41:00Speaker 4: It's just like, no, bro, I liked it him though,
- 1:41:04Speaker 4: I liked We'll be back more to Sports Dog Show.

- 1:42:47Speaker 4: And now back to the sports Job. Wayne Gandy, Welcome
- 1:43:15Speaker 4: back to the Sportshock Show. I'm the Sportshock Wayne can Dy.
- 1:43:19Speaker 4: Dick Sporting Goods, Devonport, Florida. Yes, Devenport, Florida. That's where
- 1:43:25Speaker 4: I reside, Devenport. The Dicks that they are talking about
- 1:43:29Speaker 4: is the one I shop too when I go home
- 1:43:32Speaker 4: to Florida. Eight youth football players from Philadelphia down for
- 1:43:40Speaker 4: the fourteen year old Thoroughbred Under fourteen camp decided why
- 1:43:51Speaker 4: they were at Dick Sporting Goods. They would commit a crime.
- 1:43:55Speaker 4: First of all, right, there is your issue. People robbing
- 1:44:01Speaker 4: the Dix is way too many, too many. It's too
- 1:44:04Speaker 4: many eight fourteen year olds show up anywhere. Everybody's on alert.
- 1:44:11Speaker 4: Hey who invited them? Even Big Kenny would get suspicious?
- 1:44:15Speaker 4: Hold on, twin hold on. And they keep talking like
- 1:44:18Speaker 4: that and walking with masks over their baies with hoodies
- 1:44:21Speaker 4: on and saying hey, twin hold on twin let me
- 1:44:24Speaker 4: tell you something to me, and they all got on
- 1:44:25Speaker 4: slides and socks. Hey, twin hey, twin hold on, twin wait,
- 1:44:28Speaker 4: waite twin customer service. We need everybody else.
- 1:44:33Speaker 2: We need all security person up front, up front. What's
- 1:44:37Speaker 2: what's going on? Please make eyes security cameras. Please make
- 1:44:42Speaker 2: guys with masks on. Eight fourteen year olds in.
- 1:44:45Speaker 4: Here, and they've all gotten masks on. Their scam was
- 1:44:50Speaker 4: one of them bought an item and while the others
- 1:44:54Speaker 4: went around the store and they tried to put the
- 1:44:57Speaker 4: items all in that bag and they got caught. So
- 1:45:02Speaker 4: now they go get to see the colorful, gratty judge
- 1:45:06Speaker 4: down there in Polk County. He's a colorful sheriff that
- 1:45:10Speaker 4: runs that country.
- 1:45:10Speaker 2: Isn't not the one that makes the videos with the
- 1:45:12Speaker 2: confiscated jewelry?
- 1:45:14Speaker 4: And he's an equal opportunist, That's the only thing about it.
- 1:45:19Speaker 2: At Pope count we got starting five and then you
- 1:45:23Speaker 2: got three coming off the bench for the stupid is
- 1:45:25Speaker 2: criminals in the war.
- 1:45:27Speaker 4: Teens are accused of stealing forty seven items totally twenty
- 1:45:32Speaker 4: two hundred and ninety six dollars and seven cents. So
- 1:45:37Speaker 4: what a way to go that far and just ruin
- 1:45:41Speaker 4: a trip like that long drive. And I'm quite sure
- 1:45:44Speaker 4: some of their parents, probably at least one or two
- 1:45:46Speaker 4: of their fathers or something on those kind of trips
- 1:45:49Speaker 4: because you get a lot of volunteers. And where were
- 1:45:51Speaker 4: they from? Philadelphia, Mississippi?
- 1:45:55Speaker 2: No, because I was gonna say Philadelphi, Mississippi. Eat that
- 1:46:00Speaker 2: far from Florida, but from the Pennsylvania, you know, the
- 1:46:04Speaker 2: little slow southern people like that's what it was. Twenty
- 1:46:09Speaker 2: two hundred dollars worth of stuff in a single bank,
- 1:46:11Speaker 2: that's what That's exactly when this guy bought.
- 1:46:15Speaker 7: When I first heard the story and I saw the story,
- 1:46:18Speaker 7: and I the cod for sheriff, and his video was
- 1:46:22Speaker 7: just hilarious, and I said, these young men really thought hemen.
- 1:46:26Speaker 4: They not paying attention to these folks slow down here
- 1:46:28Speaker 4: in Florida. And when I say Dick Sporting Goods, I'm saying,
- 1:46:30Speaker 4: this is maybe three miles from my mom's house. Is
- 1:46:35Speaker 4: the Dick Sporting Goods. If I go home and all
- 1:46:37Speaker 4: those camps I gave, when I would get there, I
- 1:46:39Speaker 4: would go and buy whatever items we need it for
- 1:46:44Speaker 4: the camp. So I'm very familiar with where they are.
- 1:46:48Speaker 4: And if you've ever been to a Dix, and this
- 1:46:50Speaker 4: Dicks is different than some of them. Some of them
- 1:46:52Speaker 4: are two floors. This Dicks is just one floor, okay,
- 1:46:56Speaker 4: and it's open. So I don't know why you ought
- 1:47:00Speaker 4: the line of sight was just you know, distorted, and
- 1:47:05Speaker 4: I'm like looking at and if anyone you vote right
- 1:47:10Speaker 4: back then, And if anyone.
- 1:47:11Speaker 2: Knows where you're from in Florida, then they know that
- 1:47:14Speaker 2: everybody who comes there, there's a hey, you know that
- 1:47:18Speaker 2: team from Philadelphia's here.
- 1:47:21Speaker 4: And that's why I told you. Everybody knows everybody there.
- 1:47:24Speaker 4: And this is the same town that we had to
- 1:47:27Speaker 4: arrest R. Kelly. Everybody like he wouldn't stand out if
- 1:47:31Speaker 4: you ever playing trivial h. R. Kelly had made his
- 1:47:34Speaker 4: way to about a block away from my mom because
- 1:47:40Speaker 4: when he was talking about isolated room, he was talking
- 1:47:42Speaker 4: about his town is so ruled. No, I live a
- 1:47:45Speaker 4: place where people go and try to hide out for
- 1:47:47Speaker 4: forty years. We do to change their clothes and try
- 1:47:51Speaker 4: that like they're not from the South side of Chicago.
- 1:47:54Speaker 4: Uh and just but it was the mow in the
- 1:47:57Speaker 4: grass singing. My mind is telling me no, And everybody
- 1:48:00Speaker 4: was like man. That sounds for men my body, which
- 1:48:05Speaker 4: was big news because all it takes is one person
- 1:48:08Speaker 4: to let it know that. Man, I think I saw R.
- 1:48:10Speaker 4: Kelly at Dick's stealing with fourteen eight fourteen year by
- 1:48:16Speaker 4: Church Sunday. When they get around to read the minutes,
- 1:48:19Speaker 4: that's what they're gonna say. Sator Williams says that she
- 1:48:23Speaker 4: saw R.
- 1:48:23Speaker 2: Kelly and FBI hadn't already been alerted to somebody said Kelly,
- 1:48:28Speaker 2: it's sister Williams Church.
- 1:48:31Speaker 4: Shador Sanders has been named the starter for the rest
- 1:48:34Speaker 4: of the year for the Cleveland Brown's they take on Chicago.
- 1:48:40Speaker 4: Chadur has thrown five touchdowns three interceptions since she's been back,
- 1:48:44Speaker 4: about seven hundred and fifty yards and the three starts.
- 1:48:48Speaker 4: This is good for Shador from the standpoint it gets
- 1:48:50Speaker 4: to get tape. It'll be interesting to see what happens
- 1:48:54Speaker 4: next year where you have Dylan Gabriel, Chador Sanders and
- 1:48:58Speaker 4: what to do. Kevin STEVANSI I would just ask the lead.
- 1:49:03Speaker 4: Everybody wants to lead on you, but all of this
- 1:49:05Speaker 4: is not you. You're not rotating all these quarterbacks. So
- 1:49:12Speaker 4: for this to be you, I would have to see
- 1:49:14Speaker 4: that you signed off on Deshaun Watson, and it all
- 1:49:16Speaker 4: started there. For this time around. Cleveland has always retroactively
- 1:49:24Speaker 4: done some crazy stuff, but this window of time, it
- 1:49:28Speaker 4: started with a lot of people prizing the Shawn Watson
- 1:49:32Speaker 4: that I never saw. I saw a kid that's had
- 1:49:35Speaker 4: a lot of potential, but I didn't know and I
- 1:49:38Speaker 4: still don't believe he has handled what happened. I think
- 1:49:41Speaker 4: he deals with a lot of shame and that shame
- 1:49:45Speaker 4: has frozen him. Even when he was playing, he was
- 1:49:49Speaker 4: not He didn't look good at all. This is just
- 1:49:52Speaker 4: not an injury thing. Deshaun Watson who actually from Gainesville
- 1:49:57Speaker 4: High School. The high school and call him the Knight.
- 1:50:00Speaker 4: He was their quarterback back in the day before he
- 1:50:01Speaker 4: went to Clemson. But Shardeur Sanders, Gabriel, Dylan Gabriel will
- 1:50:06Speaker 4: be in a quarterback battle you imagine next season and
- 1:50:11Speaker 4: now Shuder has a chance to show and he's the
- 1:50:15Speaker 4: numbers he's put up is a fifth round numbers. So
- 1:50:20Speaker 4: I can't That's why I can't criticize him. If you
- 1:50:22Speaker 4: told me you put the fifth round quarterback in the game, rookie,
- 1:50:26Speaker 4: it's about the numbers that expect him to get yeah,
- 1:50:30Speaker 4: so I can't say he's playing bad. He's playing as
- 1:50:33Speaker 4: solid as you would have drafted him at this point.
- 1:50:36Speaker 4: Now this was he was a first rounder, then I
- 1:50:40Speaker 4: could come in here and be like, I don't know drugad.
- 1:50:45Speaker 7: So the head up battle of cam Wards basically he
- 1:50:47Speaker 7: played better than cam before his stats.
- 1:50:49Speaker 4: Cam won the game, but the stats the Door played.
- 1:50:54Speaker 4: I didn't think either one of them was first round picks.
- 1:50:57Speaker 4: I'm just going just so you'd have to go to
- 1:50:59Speaker 4: those gurgle rules. I didn't think there was a first
- 1:51:02Speaker 4: round quarterback in the draft. But sometimes you're just desperate,
- 1:51:08Speaker 4: and Tennessee to me, is desperate. So I think both
- 1:51:12Speaker 4: of them have potential if they don't lose their confidence
- 1:51:15Speaker 4: in the interim of trying to get better. But when
- 1:51:18Speaker 4: you go to teams that are able to draft you,
- 1:51:21Speaker 4: like the Tennessee Titans, if you're the first pick, you're
- 1:51:25Speaker 4: going to the sorriest team. This is not the NBA
- 1:51:28Speaker 4: lottery where they mix up all the balls. In the NFL,
- 1:51:32Speaker 4: the worst record gets the best pick. So whatever cam
- 1:51:37Speaker 4: Wood can create with that roster, God bless him. We'll
- 1:51:41Speaker 4: be back more to Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 1:51:57Speaker 11: John Bourwayne Born of The Sports Job Show with Wayne
- 1:52:00Speaker 11: dandyis coming up next.
- 1:52:04Speaker 23: Nobody had to tell your grandparents not to drive while
- 1:52:07Speaker 23: using their typewriters, Why should it be any different for
- 1:52:11Speaker 23: us kids and our cell phones. Distracted driving was the
- 1:52:14Speaker 23: cause of more than three thousand deaths in twenty twenty two.
- 1:52:18Speaker 4: Come on, we're smarter than this.
- 1:52:20Speaker 23: Let's put down the phones and focus on the roads.
- 1:52:23Speaker 23: Drive safe, everybody.
- 1:52:25Speaker 10: Don't drive distracted. A message brought to you by the
- 1:52:28Speaker 10: National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Project yellow Light and the
- 1:52:32Speaker 10: AD Council.
- 1:52:36Speaker 4: And now back to the sports John Wayne Gandy.
- 1:52:43Speaker 3: It's time for the school board when we put a
- 1:52:46Speaker 3: spin on life and sports and how they intermingle on
- 1:52:50Speaker 3: The Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:52:56Speaker 13: Wants to know we probably don't know what to convene and.
- 1:53:04Speaker 4: Welcome back to this one shock show. I'm this one shock,
- 1:53:06Speaker 4: Wayne ken d Before the last couple of topics, I
- 1:53:09Speaker 4: would like to ask you this bad producer, because I
- 1:53:11Speaker 4: know you hang out with a lot of these kind
- 1:53:12Speaker 4: of guys. Have you ever criticized anyone that you liked
- 1:53:23Speaker 4: or do you just like them? And that's not in
- 1:53:28Speaker 4: a joking way, So please criticize somebody say you like
- 1:53:32Speaker 4: Michael Jordan's right, Yeah, I've criticized Michael Jordan. Do you
- 1:53:36Speaker 4: criticize people? So when you see a Shador Sanders, because
- 1:53:40Speaker 4: we know you like Dion, so by byproduct that you
- 1:53:43Speaker 4: like your door, just real quick, because I'm not trying that.
- 1:53:46Speaker 4: We got to go on with the show. Do you
- 1:53:51Speaker 4: see the negatives of your door? Gain?
- 1:53:58Speaker 7: I see some negative. I see where he can proof
- 1:54:01Speaker 7: and that's gonna come with time. Get him a good
- 1:54:03Speaker 7: quarterback coach.
- 1:54:04Speaker 4: No no, no, no, no no no no, no, all that
- 1:54:09Speaker 4: stuff right there, That's what I want you to say,
- 1:54:11Speaker 4: all you people out there that keep thinking stuff is
- 1:54:14Speaker 4: Shaduer Sanders in the pros. There's no good quarterback coach,
- 1:54:18Speaker 4: there's no good staff. There is you as the talent.
- 1:54:23Speaker 4: I told you at the beginning of the show. Stop
- 1:54:25Speaker 4: that high school stuff. My old line coach name was,
- 1:54:30Speaker 4: whatever his name was. That's if I chose to use it.
- 1:54:33Speaker 4: Like Chris Paul and Ty Loom, I might not feel
- 1:54:36Speaker 4: like talking to you this week. Bruh, I don't even
- 1:54:39Speaker 4: like you all this y'all think they're and then in
- 1:54:43Speaker 4: the Guru man, I don't even whatever. You know what,
- 1:54:46Speaker 4: I'm about to go to your training room. That's where
- 1:54:50Speaker 4: you are in the league. This idea, y'all are still
- 1:54:53Speaker 4: in this trans this mindset that we're in high school
- 1:54:57Speaker 4: and coach get this threatened you and all that Chadour
- 1:55:01Speaker 4: is Chadour. He's who he gonna be. You don't hear
- 1:55:07Speaker 4: nobody talking about Patrick Mahomes quarterback coach. Tell me his name,
- 1:55:15Speaker 4: Tell me Patrick Mahon's quarterback coach. They say, Andy Rid
- 1:55:24Speaker 4: somebody please the guy for Kansas City. And I'm stepping
- 1:55:31Speaker 4: out on the limb with the people he liked well
- 1:55:34Speaker 4: once they get him a quarterback coach. He's had the
- 1:55:37Speaker 4: best coaches in life. He's a young man that his
- 1:55:41Speaker 4: dad understood how to form him in and get him
- 1:55:44Speaker 4: to be better. He got a phone call and some
- 1:55:47Speaker 4: lessons from pretty Tom Brady. From pretty Tom. Often, I
- 1:55:56Speaker 4: didn't get a call in high school from Jackie Slater
- 1:55:59Speaker 4: or Anthony Moon. This man has been the tutelage that
- 1:56:04Speaker 4: was offered to him has been there. And y'all are
- 1:56:07Speaker 4: still making these platforms when you.
- 1:56:09Speaker 2: Get this and we get that people called the people
- 1:56:12Speaker 2: call coach Prime to ask them could they talk.
- 1:56:14Speaker 4: To his This man has had to plug in with
- 1:56:16Speaker 4: some of the great receivers to be able to throw
- 1:56:20Speaker 4: the ball out there to t o just for just
- 1:56:23Speaker 4: hanging out to him to come back and tell you
- 1:56:25Speaker 4: how to throw it, when to throw it. That's why
- 1:56:29Speaker 4: he's where he is because he's been coached so well.
- 1:56:35Speaker 4: But well, we're doing that. I was just as soon
- 1:56:40Speaker 4: as I went to talk about him, you want to
- 1:56:42Speaker 4: bring up cam Ward. I haven't watched the Tennessee Titan game.
- 1:56:46Speaker 4: To tell you what, cam Ward, They're sorry. It's the
- 1:56:49Speaker 4: I can put up four games, six games. Anybody playing
- 1:56:55Speaker 4: the Titans does not get up there. If you want
- 1:56:58Speaker 4: to not interest me, I'd rather shine my rims then
- 1:57:03Speaker 4: watch the Tennessee type. I like, have zero interest. I
- 1:57:06Speaker 4: don't know who the head coach is. The only thing
- 1:57:08Speaker 4: I know about Tennessee is because my daughter told me
- 1:57:10Speaker 4: they're building a new stadium. All right, they have. They
- 1:57:15Speaker 4: have cam Ward in the new stadium. I have no
- 1:57:18Speaker 4: idea anything about them of recent That stadium they got's
- 1:57:22Speaker 4: not that old, is it. They're trying to host the
- 1:57:25Speaker 4: Super Bowl. I was just wondering, why when you go
- 1:57:27Speaker 4: to talk about people, it becomes this idea of that
- 1:57:32Speaker 4: you're criticizing when all I'm doing is telling you here's
- 1:57:36Speaker 4: the opportunity. I don't need you to tell me about
- 1:57:38Speaker 4: cam Ward because sometimes you build the book Boogeyman. Sometime
- 1:57:45Speaker 4: there's somebody outside that you have created in your mind
- 1:57:48Speaker 4: is outside. There's nobody outside. Yah, it's like going to
- 1:57:53Speaker 4: put the trash out at night. Everybody looking for the like.
- 1:57:59Speaker 4: You're in the safest naighborhood, but for some reason it's dog.
- 1:58:03Speaker 4: You forgot to hit that pust like it seems like
- 1:58:06Speaker 4: the longest little ten feet ever. Troy Aikman says he's
- 1:58:18Speaker 4: done with the n I L. He wants it to
- 1:58:20Speaker 4: go back. He said he's not giving too much more
- 1:58:22Speaker 4: money to U. C. L A. He feels like the
- 1:58:26Speaker 4: money part might be all messed up. And it only
- 1:58:29Speaker 4: took one time. He did it once. He's like, and
- 1:58:33Speaker 4: the player went to another school. Never get it. And
- 1:58:36Speaker 4: that's for the part, he said, until they fixed the
- 1:58:38Speaker 4: rule with this whole.
- 1:58:41Speaker 2: You know, Troy used to get what he paid for.
- 1:58:46Speaker 2: I give you the money. I usually get service. This
- 1:58:49Speaker 2: is a six pack, but it's a five pack. You
- 1:58:52Speaker 2: owe me one more pack. No, they're cold though I
- 1:58:56Speaker 2: got one more. I got twelve more ounces coming.
- 1:58:58Speaker 4: No, no, it's cold though. It's the five took to
- 1:59:00Speaker 4: five of code. I don't care if they frozen. I
- 1:59:02Speaker 4: paid for six. I won't by six. And that's what
- 1:59:06Speaker 4: Troy is. And he says into the NCAA figures out
- 1:59:08Speaker 4: this whole transfer thing where I come in and I
- 1:59:13Speaker 4: sponsor a kid to come. And then basically I gave
- 1:59:17Speaker 4: the one hundred thousand. I'm just throwing out a number
- 1:59:20Speaker 4: and because and he left, So what did I get
- 1:59:25Speaker 4: for my money? And somebody owe me one hundred thousand dollars?
- 1:59:31Speaker 4: So Josh Hart I saw in the game as we
- 1:59:34Speaker 4: go to break charge, Josh Hart sitting on the bench
- 1:59:38Speaker 4: looks like his wife must have been sitting behind him.
- 1:59:40Speaker 4: Which it was an interesting place. This was doing an
- 1:59:43Speaker 4: active game. He has twins. He had one in his
- 1:59:48Speaker 4: lap and his wife was holding the other. And I
- 1:59:50Speaker 4: would imagine Mike Brown told him to go get in
- 1:59:53Speaker 4: the game because for some reason he was holding his baby,
- 1:59:57Speaker 4: so he called him into the game. He gave the
- 1:59:59Speaker 4: baby over to like Carl Anthony Mitchell Robinson uh and
- 2:00:04Speaker 4: ran into the game. And it was the most interesting.
- 2:00:07Speaker 4: I didn't we've already been talking about why the families
- 2:00:11Speaker 4: on the sideline the pre game. But for him, was
- 2:00:16Speaker 4: this attention? Real quick? Is this an attention thing you
- 2:00:19Speaker 4: think he was doing like it was it was kids
- 2:00:22Speaker 4: day at the game? Okay, but I want to get
- 2:00:26Speaker 4: but it's as far. I don't know why the because
- 2:00:30Speaker 4: he had I don't know if he was like the
- 2:00:31Speaker 4: other the other twin was with him as well at
- 2:00:34Speaker 4: points when he was sitting on the bench. Well that's
- 2:00:36Speaker 4: what I'm saying. You can look at the picture. It
- 2:00:38Speaker 4: looks like a woman. I don't know if that's his wife,
- 2:00:40Speaker 4: had another baby of the same size and looked like
- 2:00:43Speaker 4: the kids. So I would imagine that's the twin right
- 2:00:46Speaker 4: behind the bench. But the audacity to do that now,
- 2:00:52Speaker 4: But when it's reported, the report says Josh Hart hilariously
- 2:00:56Speaker 4: hands off his kid to Mitchell Robinson after getting subbed in.
- 2:01:00Speaker 2: So everybody thinks it's funny and endearing, so of course
- 2:01:04Speaker 2: we would do it. It's great publicity. This is this
- 2:01:07Speaker 2: is a way to build the bridges professional sport.
- 2:01:11Speaker 24: Everybody thought the game was over because it was like
- 2:01:13Speaker 24: sixteen seconds left, they're up by nine, but the game
- 2:01:17Speaker 24: was still not over.
- 2:01:19Speaker 7: So, and you had an interesting question before we go,
- 2:01:22Speaker 7: good friend out of New York. Is there a worthy
- 2:01:24Speaker 7: first round quarterback available coming up this year?
- 2:01:28Speaker 4: Jared, not that I've seen has your answer toWin full
- 2:01:35Speaker 4: stop and we are you know. The truth is he
- 2:01:42Speaker 4: will throw your in the ocean. It's time to wrap things.
- 2:01:46Speaker 28: Up on the Sports Junct Show with d Wayne Gandy.
- 2:02:14Speaker 4: When you're the times that I was, you give the
- 2:02:16Speaker 4: wort shout just a minute to Ben would like to

- 2:02:29Speaker 4: contributions today. Remember Thursday night football, the Falcons at the Bucks,
- 2:02:34Speaker 4: Saturday Army versus Navy at three o'clock and at some
- 2:02:39Speaker 4: point the Heisman Trophy. Greg named the Heisman Trophy guys
- 2:02:43Speaker 4: real quick.
- 2:02:43Speaker 24: Bernando Mendoza, Julian saying, Jeremiah Love Diego Pavia.
- 2:02:48Speaker 4: Pavia at Vanderbilt saying at Ohio State. The other two
- 2:02:51Speaker 4: guys you could have just been making them up. I've
- 2:02:53Speaker 4: never heard of the Red Indiana. I haven't watched the
- 2:02:57Speaker 4: Indiana game. Running back here that's running zero love, Get love,
- 2:03:04Speaker 4: Get love, got the first? Pick get love? Who got first?
- 2:03:09Speaker 4: But you get love. He's a real player, real deal.
- 2:03:13Speaker 4: That's a pro. That's a pro running back right there,
- 2:03:15Speaker 4: difference maker. If you missed any of today's show, you
- 2:03:18Speaker 4: can go to Amazon podcast, Apple Podcast, Audible, Deezer, iHeart Radio,
- 2:03:24Speaker 4: Spotify as well. You know. And I'm taking along because
- 2:03:29Speaker 4: my my ocean is quick, y'all know, m head coaching,
- 2:03:35Speaker 4: Michigan twin twin whatnot. I don't, I don't. I don't
- 2:03:42Speaker 4: have to lead up into it's run more. It's our
- 2:03:49Speaker 4: ocean today, not to build it up. Ain't gonna let
- 2:03:54Speaker 4: him breathe. We would he did it. Most all would
- 2:03:59Speaker 4: throw him in the ocean, no question. It's still a
- 2:04:02Speaker 4: let anybody who's who's questioning it, maybe they should walk
- 2:04:07Speaker 4: with him. As I said, he didn't allegedly get fired.
- 2:04:11Speaker 4: He is fired. And he didn't allegedly get arrested. He
- 2:04:15Speaker 4: was taken into custody. So those two things are facts.
- 2:04:20Speaker 4: But we don't all been fired and taking in the custody,
- 2:04:23Speaker 4: right am? I right, come on from the fust so
- 2:04:30Speaker 4: we'll we'll see you in the future. Peace,
