It's ⁓ one Monday out of the month. speaker-1: Yeah. speaker-0: ⁓ it's hosted by Miss Vanessa of the Village Works. She's an author of I forget the name of the book, but she is an author. ⁓ basically what it is is it's just a creative writing class. You go in, she gives you like a subject or a topic and stuff and then tells you, you know, take what ⁓ just write whatever you want about it. And then when we're done we all kind of sit around and read each other's stuff like everybody reads it and then, you know, not that they critique it, but everybody gives their opinions on it or the It's actually a really good class if you're into, you know, doing something creative through writing. and it's free. You don't have to be a veteran or any of that stuff. You don't have to be a member of that post. Yeah. You can just come in, sit down, and it's actually it's a pretty good time. ⁓ that's cool. ⁓ they're doing a lot of really cool stuff there. I was talking because the commander's in the class. Yeah. ⁓ ⁓ he was kind of filling me in. And it's a shame because I used to live right around the corner from there. I grew up there. ⁓ but I mean, they got pizza night on Friday night. They've got all kinds of bands, they got the American ⁓ 250th anniversary barbecue or something coming up. They're doing a fifty fifty raffle. That's cool. ⁓ yeah. So they got a lot of cool stuff going on. So if you guys get a chance, check out their Facebook and Instagram, the VFW post 3020 in Delran or Riverside. It's it's like right on the border. and yeah, and swing by the creative writing class. I can't remember off the top of my head what the date was, but as soon as I do for the next class, I'll let you know. It's sometime in July. So, ⁓ And also we want to give a big shout out to the Booze and Tattoos podcast. Yeah, yeah. They are they are off and running, man. They're on like their what, fourth or fifth episode? And I ran into Brett the other day. at the school I work at. during the third grade clap out. ⁓ Apparently Brett's stepdaughter on her way to bigger and things, leaving the third grade, off to the fourth grade. And I just caught him in passing. ⁓ We talked to him for like a like quick minute. ⁓ told him I'd, you know ⁓ Was really into what they're doing. So if you guys get a chance, give them a listen. And of course, the people who started it all, the exciting and new podcast with Dana, Jason, and Andrew. ⁓ even though they don't love Cobra, we still love them. ⁓ if you guys are into movies and cinema reviews and all that stuff like that, give them a listen. They are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to everything movies. I think they're covering nineteen. They back forty years, so they're doing eighty-six right now. The last movie that they just did. They had a guest on. I can't remember the name of the person they had on, but they covered Howard the Duck, which is a banger. speaker-1: Yeah. Our duh duck ⁓ speaker-0: God. That was one when they sent me a list to be on earlier this year that was on there and I was like, How I totally forgot about that movie. speaker-1: Yeah. I remember her on the bed. I was like speaker-0: Yeah, like I said, like we said before the wall I just remember like they reached in his pocket and pulled out his wallet. He had a con like Howard the Duck had a condom on him. speaker-1: See, late eighties, early nineties even like you know, the duck universe was added safe sex too. speaker-0: I guess Long Duck Dong was named after a duck I mean, I guess ducks do have dorks. So big shout out to everybody. ⁓ Booze Tattoos, exciting and new. VFW post thirty twenty and snipes mobile wending tuning. They're all good people and they're all doing great things. So check ⁓ out when you get in this minute. Yeah. So what's going on, bud? speaker-1: I mean, just gonna finish the ⁓ Herbie camp out thing, which was very nice. It was cool. Got a chance to r just relax, drink some beers, just hang out in the tent, crank some tunes and ⁓ didn't have any ⁓ beaver incursions, which was cool. Even though like their their little camp was next to ours, so there was no ⁓ I mean they were flopping around on the water but they didn't ⁓ you know, go into our d ⁓ territory so there was no ⁓ you know, needing to flash any The hell's the buzzers and all that stuff, the the cattle prod that I have. speaker-0: Bro, you have no idea what my inbox look like after that battle prompt in Beaver. And I'll text messages and we were just laughing because, you know, ⁓ ⁓ speaker-1: ⁓ with the catch. True man. I mean it happens. Beavers. I don't know. Some people are like, what the hell kind of life does this guy Herbie live, man? It's definitely an interesting boy. speaker-0: So trust me. That's kinda beavers we were thinking about. We were crying, dude, like some of the stuff that came out of those conversations. But speaker-1: ⁓ like when you hear about beavers, the last thing you hear about is like electric cattle prods speaker-0: I'm sure they're glad you ⁓ we're all glad you pulled through. speaker-1: Yeah. Survived it. She got a t-shirt. Yeah, but it was nice though, man. I got a chance. It was just like the relax. I couldn't ask for better weather. So it's just like and another th weird thing was too was that all the ducks and and I guess the geese that hang out with each other, they were literally across the lake and they all came out like early in the morning when I was getting the fire restarted. They all came out together. So I'm I'm thinking they all like speaker-0: That was nice as well. speaker-1: Huddled together at nighttime, I guess, for predators or anything like that. Cause they all came out and when they hit the water, they all like just just spread out and went their own way. But it was just like all of the waterfowl. Yeah. I was like, that's dope. Yeah, so there's you know, there's the the bird camp and there's the beaver camp, and then there's like, you know, I don't know if the herons are still with the with the with the speaker-0: That's pretty well. speaker-1: With the ⁓ duck camp and stuff like that, but yeah, there's definitely some stuff going on and there's a turt you know, bunch of turtles out there. So did ya? speaker-0: Saw me at Gaggle Turkeys this morning. They were up on the w I think it's ⁓ Berlin Haddenfield Road. ⁓ right where ⁓ it intersects with the White Horse Pike. ⁓ I had to up there for they offered this thing, it's called a captain's gift. Yeah. It's ⁓ a firefighter back in the day, I mean like 40 years old, just dropped on the job, had a heart attack, and died. His wife pushed for What's the word looking for? She wanted to push awareness, like, hey, these guys are taking care of us. We need to take care of them. So the core cardiopulmonary diagnostic team, ⁓ I think actually Voorhees has it now. not Voorhees, ⁓ Virtua stepped in and were like, All right, we're gonna what we're do, what they do is they offer a free total body workup. speaker-1: Like zoom in. speaker-0: on anybody, law enforcement first responders, whether you're retired, active. I actually believe that the state police mandates it every two years for their guys. That's cool. You go in and they do I mean they did my circulatory, my brain function, eyes, ⁓ heart, respiratory. ⁓ they had me on it. I look like fifty well, a fat fifty cent. I look like seventy five cent on that video where he's like running treadmill and he's got all this shit with a tube in his mouth. Yeah, I was running on that stuff and I was like At two miles an hour, like speaker-1: Go shameless. Get your birthday. speaker-0: I'll tell you what, the one lady was just like, Man, for your size, I didn't think you'd be able to carry yourself that well 'cause I was going. I was like, ⁓ once I get in that real speaker-1: You're like the juggernaut, man. Once you start getting in motion it can't stop. speaker-0: Well one thing I ⁓ a lot of people say this is like once you get running, like once you hit that first ⁓ once you find your rhythm and your stride, then it's just it's all down. So but yeah, they did a total workup. They take your blood, they check your thyroid, your cholesterol, your blood press. I mean, they do it all. Yeah. I do it every July, every two years. just did it today. And ⁓ there they were, bro. I pulled up. It was 730. I pulled up and they were over in the corner. ⁓ speaker-1: Yeah, sailing. I was like, speaker-0: I said, man, what I was ⁓ I just kinda like ran inside real quick. When I came back out, they were gone. But yeah, they were they were chilling right off the speaker-1: Almost like they're waiting for like unhealthy human stragglers or something like that, where it can you know what I mean? They might have got it they might have caught a body and just dragged it out in the wood. speaker-0: I didn't get a chance because like the whole staff there are females. Yeah. And I'm not saying that they can't handle themselves. So don't get upset. I'm just saying like some of them females are small enough, they might have like you said, they might have been waiting on ⁓ speaker-1: Yeah, well you never know. Like it's ⁓ there's there's more meat on dudes, so they probably got one of them, you know, some fat slow dude and just went, you know, waited for him to get to the card and speaker-0: I don't know, if I was a turkey, I'd be waiting for some of them girls. I'd speaker-1: Yeah, but hey. Gobble gobble. speaker-0: It might not be a lot more me, but I better her I betcha she tastes better. ⁓ Well yeah, they were out in force this morning. speaker-1: Be alert, everyone. Be alert. speaker-0: So what else? ⁓ and then I went to the gym 'cause I have ⁓ a job interview tomorrow and that's gonna be amazing. ⁓ I mean, I still have a job, it's just something to a next step, you know, up. You always try to keep pushing. Yeah. But ⁓ yeah, that's all I got going on, man. ⁓ we had our last day of school. Like I said, I ran into Brett because the elementary school was clapping out to third grade and then ⁓ crossed the street. speaker-1: ⁓ you can do it. speaker-0: The Elm well, the middle school was clapping out the eighth graders. It was crazy, speaker-1: Know what that means, but like summer, summer, summer time. speaker-0: Did you guys do the clamp out when you were school? Hell no. They were like, you're going to high school, get up out ⁓ speaker-1: Yeah, this thing like the ending of Lucas, you know, like speaker-0: I remember kindergarten gra I was in Philadelphia, we had kindergarten graduation. But I mean everything else was just like You made it, beat it. speaker-1: Yeah, here's your yearbook. Go on get Everyone gets a clap out now? Jesus Christ. speaker-0: Bro, they had d somebody one of the teachers said there was more people there than there was at the eighth grade graduation. Really? speaker-1: Yeah. Well, you what's crazy too? Like you especially now, there's a couple like, you know, graduation brawls going on and stuff too, man. I was like, Jesus Christ, man. It was just throwing down. speaker-0: Yeah, I saw it like Randcoke is found. Hey, listen, until and I said when I was getting out of the state, 'cause that's why I pretty much worked with juveniles, when I was leaving the state, a couple years before that they have this and I don't even know if I can talk about it, but there was like this program or initiative that they're gonna start coddling kids and d I'm like, listen, you can do that for certain kids, but these kids these inner city kids and shit like that are like grown ass men and women that just don't give it and now you're starting to see because the world just kinda looked at kids like, Yeah. No kid left behind. We have to pass everybody and and now they're starting to those kids are starting to get old enough now where holy shit, we raised a bunch of dumbasses. Everybody got a trophy and now everybody wants everything's expected. Yeah. And now you have these kids that are just running about. Hey man, start pulling the leash in a little bit. Yeah. Catch ⁓ young. When you start charging these kids and da da da da and the rest of these kids they'll be like, yo, I ain't doing that shit. Like I ain't going to juvie jail or I ain't You need to start realing in a little bit. Start charging these and people are like, ⁓ charge the parents. Sometimes it's not like don't get me wrong, 95% of the time it is the parents. Yeah. But nah. Start charging these kids, bro. Yeah. Start hitting them off. speaker-1: Yeah, but like don't they like they're they're gonna bring back boot camps or some crap? They should start doing stuff like that, man. speaker-0: ⁓ that was another thing. That was too ⁓ aggr th it was too aggressive, you know, the kids can't respond well to pressure and da da I like well speaker-1: Well, they can't respond well to pressure now, man. speaker-0: But even that's off now too. speaker-1: join the military, man. You like you mess up their food order. They're gonna have a goddamn crash out at McDonald's. I'm like, come on, man. speaker-0: ⁓ getting back to the positive part. ⁓ it was good to see a lot of support. I mean, it was a lot. I was like, holy smok like as security there, like it was me and two of New Jersey's finest. Yeah. And we were both we were like, something goes down. I don't even know how we're gonna handle this. That's how ridiculous it was. But ⁓ yeah, it's like I said, it was good to see the sport. I got to say goodbye to everybody. and it was it was a good day, man. And I got I it I love that. Just and even as an adult, yeah, now that I'm back in schools, working in schools, that last day feeling, like everybody's just kinda like I guess. And when you get in a car and you're driving away and people like teachers were like they're peeling wheels, you see like papers flying out of their cars. It was it it's an amazing it's almost like that feeling you get Christmas morning before you guys are going down the steps, they're like, ⁓ my god, this is great. speaker-1: Yeah, like It's like days and confused and stuff too. Now it's like, ⁓ boy. speaker-0: It's good to have that feeling back, man. And I had it all the way home. ⁓ that's cool. And then I got home and bowed the lawn and stuff and figure out what I'm gonna do this summer. speaker-1: Yeah, it's summertime, baby. speaker-0: So you guys ever do any family vacations in the summertime or speaker-1: Yeah, but like almost everybody did that. I remember, you know, we used to go to like either Puerto Rico or we'd go to like, you know, a cruise. ⁓ went to Florida, you know, like Walt Disney and Epcot Center. ⁓ you know, that was ⁓ basically like a lot of cruises and ⁓ you know, like I said, just going back to the family to see in Puerto Rico. And was just nice, man. Just like the weather and just be you know, first time being on cruises, 'cause like, you know, around that time, you know, I was like maybe fifteen or sixteen and you could drink on the cruise ships. Nice. Which was cool. I had my own little and I had like a l I had a job already, so I had like my own money, so you know, whatever drinks I bought it would be, you know, charged to me, you know, charged to my room. You know, it'd be cool. You know, and it was just like it was just nice and relaxing. speaker-0: Nice. We used to go to ⁓ as a family we used to go to like the po we my dad loved camping. We were never shore people. We always went up to the Poconos, up in a promised land state park and all that stuff like that. ⁓ Yeah, it was cool, man. We would go up there like two weekends in June. We would stay two weeks in July and then 'cause they had a place you could park your camp to once you got it up there, like when you were done camping, you would pull up to the front, they had like a storage lot. So when we first got up there it'd be like the weekend we just kinda set everything up and made sure we have everything for the take it back to the storage thing. So we'd go up ⁓ two weekends in June, two weeks in July and two weekends in ⁓ August. And then I think we'd squeeze one in September and then bring the camper home. So yeah, we were camping people, man. I loved it. speaker-1: ⁓ yeah, me too, man. It's like ⁓ there was a place that my it was like a little general family. It was like me, my mom, my dad, and my aunt and uncle and their cu and my cousins. we went to a place, I think, in like Pennsylvania or something like that. It was called the Boat Hole. And it was like these little bungalows, and there was a little like a dock next to it with brackish water, and there was a bridge there. And it was just like a small bridge. It wasn't like a big major bridge. But we were, you know, crabbing off there every day, dude. We just come home with like bushels and bushels of crabs. Nice. And ⁓ that's actually when ⁓ my cousin's family, they had a family friend, ⁓ the hostesses, they brought their daughter, and she was she was like older, and she was playing the Prince Purple Rain album like all week. So that's when that's when I got my first taste of Prince and Purple Rain. I was like, yo, this is dope. And ⁓ there was one. Where we were always sitting on top of the ⁓ the bridge and I'd look underneath the bridge and there was like tons of crabs there too. And I was telling my cousins, and of course I was the youngest one out of the whole group. So of course my my ⁓ my opinions and stuff wasn't really, you know, held on to. So I was like, yo, let's go underneath the bridge and go crabbing. And they're like, nah, man, this is that stupid. I was like, well, look, cause like the the the tide was low and there wasn't enough sand. You could literally hang out underneath this bridge. And I I try to talk it up to him. I like, Yeah, well, you guys can smoke your cigarettes underneath there, you know, they can't really see it because you know, where where the bridge was where we were crabbing, it was right next to the bungalow where the parents could watch us. I mean so we went underneath there, did the crabbing, and dude, we got like two bushels of crabs, and I got this one huge one that I caught myself. I was freaking sweet, man. I that was like one of my favorite, like as a kid, you know, besides like, you know, ⁓ you know, Florida, you know, Disney World and all that. But like the crabbing one was was freaking dope. speaker-0: Yeah, we used to ⁓ we never did the Florida thing. We would go to like along with camping we'd pick they would pick like an amusement park. We'd go to like Dorney Park one year, the next year was Hershey Park, and the year after that was like ⁓ Six Flags. ⁓ yeah Great Adventure. speaker-1: ⁓ dude, then we can do a whole nother episode on Great Adventure, man. There's so much stuff out of that one. speaker-0: Yeah, then there was one ⁓ what's the one in West Virginia? ⁓ speaker-1: But you said Dorney Park and ⁓ Jesus. speaker-0: Yeah, the furthest one we went to was the one in ⁓ West Virginia. It was ⁓ had like Old Dominion or something like that, or I forget what speaker-1: ⁓ my god, you're bringing up an old commercial like the Dim old Dominion like roller coaster. Yeah. Bush Gardens. Bush. Okay, go. Because you're like you're probably gonna have a bunch of listeners going, it was Bush Gardens, for Christ's sakes. Again, first take. We're not we we didn't do any research. It's more like topic, what do you want to talk about? And go. speaker-0: Yeah. Bushcart? It's like I said, it's ⁓ it's one of those things. Well thank God I do that Captain B because they do like your break like your wave thought and all that stuff like that. And hopefully in two weeks they come back and I'm like, No, you're just retarded. You're not losing your memory. ⁓ speaker-1: ⁓ d I'm still that way at work, man. I feel so bad. There's so many people at work, I don't know their names. Mm-hmm. speaker-0: Summer love, you ever summer love, herb? speaker-1: Summer of Yes. Yes. I remember like there was also a place for like during the summertime we would go to Atseign Lake or Atsion Lake or whatever. Straight up the road. Yeah. We'd go there and there was also another spot after that called Paradise Lakes. That was like right down the street from it. So Paradise Lakes, after a while, used to be a little bit more secluded. So we would used to go to that one more because that time would have just like a a fuck ton of people there all the time. So there was like my my cousins would go there and there would be girls there and there was a little summer love there. But the the one the one funny summer love was ⁓ my buddy's dad actually worked at the Barnegate Lighthouse. So went, you know, went with them a day trip to the beach and everything. And I met this girl there and I was, I think, like sixth grade or something like that. So she was really pretty. And you know, she was my summer love. It's like she was like my best number one girlfriend for like that afternoon. So ⁓ she was getting ready. She's like, ⁓ I'm gonna go up to the Barnegat Lighthouse. And she's like, ⁓ I'm gonna I'm gonna call out your name. She's like, what's your name again? Rudy? She's like, So like that joke. ⁓ yeah. speaker-0: Daddy. ⁓ speaker-1: She is like Rudy, but then like, you know, of course she went up there and said my name and everything. But ⁓ after that when the when I was there with that family, ⁓ they called me Rudy for the rest of my life, dude. They never let that down. She's like, what's your name? Rudy? And they were just like, and I was just like I was like kind of crushed, but she still went up there and yelled out my name. So Nice. I miss her. Summer loving. speaker-0: Yeah, never really never really had one of those. Yes. There was one chick, ⁓ when we were camping one year, I think she was from somewhere Norristown or something like that, I forget. Her name was Heather. And like we hung out. speaker-1: You know What's up with all the heathers, man? It was yeah. ⁓ yeah, vacation chicks, heathers. speaker-0: I don't know. But ⁓ we hung out like the whole two weeks like together and stuff and at the end. I guess it was 'cause she was just like, I don't want you to leave. I mean we were like fourteen. Yes. Just selling her oats and that kind of deal. And she was like, ⁓ I'll write you every day. speaker-1: ⁓ my god, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. speaker-0: And I was like, yeah, and I think we rode each other twice, and that was pretty much it. ⁓ but ⁓ yeah, it was it was kind of cool to experience that. Other than that, man, I was just kind of like alone, like me and the boys hung out in the summertime. We did our thing. ⁓ one thing I was grateful for, and if you're listening to this and you grew up with me on Butler Street, that neighborhood was like the sandlot neighborhood, dude. Yeah, in the summertime. Holy smokes, there was kids. everywhere and then when the sun went down like I said all the neighbors pretty much hung out on my parents' front deck yeah so all the fellows were out front pretty much having a couple beers and all the women were in the house you know doing tea or coffee whatever ⁓ and on a Friday Saturday Sunday I mean this before we were old enough to start going to dances and going off the street and so man that neighborhood was just alive and we would get game ⁓ jailbreak or some people call it spring and so I think we talked about this before speaker-1: Yeah, I got some of that too. speaker-0: And when you start getting old enough, you were hiding like I hope I'm on her team, like with the neighborhood girls and stuff like that. But man, the summer nights and on that street were that street was it was almost like that movie Fight Club where he reaches down and grabs that like feels the floor and he's You can feel the warmth from the fight from the night before. That's how that street was, dude. Like if you went out there at six in the morning and put your hand on, you could just feel the night before because we were all over that. speaker-1: Yeah. I th you know what I I want speaker-0: And we had kids from other neighborhoods coming and hanging out and stuff and it was just ridiculous. speaker-1: Yeah, I don't really see too many kids doing that stuff anymore, man. Cause I I mean remember we used to we had like this like neighborhood-wide ⁓ balloon fight and it was freaking awesome, man. And we're just like riding on our bikes. We had like, you know, a couple of buckets with like, you know, the water balloons and stuff. And like, you know, the one one team had the base at the school and the other team had the base at the at the ball field, and people are sitting on top of the freaking bleachers and people almost fell off and died. It's great. But it was just like a huge battle. during the summer man and you know still drinking water from the freaking hose. And you know, my one buddy still like, you know, giving us the hose and him running inside having iced tea for himself and those goddamn WrestleMania popsicle bars for himself. God damn it. speaker-0: I was just gonna say in the middle of all of it, like you'd be having the greatest summer night of your life. You hooked up with the neighborhood girl and you're just like, Yeah, you're like thirteen, all of a sudden you're doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo and somebody like speaker-1: Nice crap! speaker-0: Yeah, bro. Like Eddie Murphy. Dude, and that guy would purposely come to our neighborhood and stop and he would be there for 45 minutes. Cause every kid in the neighborhood got ice cream. And for the ones who didn't, because we had some kids that were not so fortunate, like my mom or like one of the neighbors, like I got it this time, and da-da-da. And everybody got ice cream. Everybody got ice cream. And that guy like and there had to be 25 of us. So yeah, dude, we were mob speaker-1: Really? I would use I remember like Hamilton man, the guy would actually make you run a little extra. I'm like, You bastard a caravan of kids. speaker-0: That he would purposely stop on our street and told us, I love this street. This is where I'm making my money at. speaker-1: Yeah, all right, well that's cool. Even like when we used to do it in Hamilton, cause like it happened in Hamilton End up here. You know, not I mean it happens now, but you know, I don't really see too many kids running out there, but yo man. I mean you can sense that goddamn music. It's like do do do do do do do do do do do do do do I mean like holy speaker-0: Yup. He comes down here. ⁓ really? Yeah, I was shocked. Like the other day I was sitting on my couch and I heard it and I was like instantly you're eight years old and in your mind we're like that little devil guy's like ice cream. ⁓ speaker-1: Yeah, dude, you know I think sometimes it would be like that weird Right. speaker-0: I got my big ass up one out there and I was like speaker-1: Cause you know, it'd like that big awkward like thing. Like I'd be sitting at the dinner table, something like and hear that music, and I'm like, ⁓ and I look at my parents and my parents look at him like, ⁓ crap, this kid's gonna want some goddamn ice cream. And it was always like, I always wanted to try like those ice cream carns, you know, like the ice cream ones with like, you know, it had like you Spider-Man on with like, you know, gumball eyeballs and shit like that. They were with the expensive ones. Then I'd like after while, they're like, all just get the push pop, because I would be like, ⁓ I want that, I want that, I want that, I want that, I want that, I want that. speaker-0: Things have ⁓ things have changed a little bit too. When I went out there I had like two bucks and I was like, hey man, let me get a ⁓ I always got like the double deck like the chocolate and white one spun together with like jimmies or sprinkles wherever you're and the guy was like, Yeah, that's $7.50 and I was like seven. speaker-1: Yeah. speaker-0: Hold on, I gotta go get some money. He was like, We take we take cards. I'm like, What? Mr. Softy takes what? He was like, Yeah, we take debit card. Yeah, that was a great trip down that was an expensive trip down memory lane. I'll hit him up again when he comes by because I love like the soft serve stuff. Yeah. So but yeah, man, our neighborhood was just woo. speaker-1: Yeah, yeah, I d I love ice cream chucks, man. Yeah, that would actually remind me about like cause we would have a couple like you know little ⁓ like grocery like not really grocery stores, little convenience stores like the mama pop ones. And I always had one in Hamilton and I had one here. And it was like when you were a kid, like if you had a dollar, dude, ⁓ you were you were eating. You were eating, man, because you get like a can of soda, you'd get like maybe a I don't know, people might not know what the hell this is, a chocolate dial. I love I fucking love those. Bring them back, hostess. speaker-0: ⁓ I know what it's speaker-1: It was like that and like, you know, of course it would be like, you know, the the big glass jar that's at the register, so it was like you had to get the red Swedish fresh like hell yeah. Get twenty five of them hush puppies and if you got that goddamn bag, twenty-five cent bag of the funion lo the funions ⁓ It's perfect. ⁓ now unless if you really had to ball up if you had to get a buy a you hoo, you weren't spending twenty-five cents for you know, you had you had to like give away some shit. ⁓ speaker-0: Penny candy. Sacrifices had to be made. speaker-1: Yeah, dude. It's like you're getting like three out of the four and seven, 'cause you're getting a Yuho, you know? And especially it had to be more expensive 'cause, you know, back in my day when I was a little lad, the yu hoos were in a glass bottle, so, you know. speaker-0: Dude, the place at Delanco, it's called the Liberty Mart. I don't know if that's what we always called it. So it's probably changed names like 9,000 times when it's known as the Liberty Mart. They used to sell frozen, I don't know how they made it. I don't know how sanitary it was or whatever, but they would make frozen cookie dough balls. Really? For like 25 cents, bro. I was put like three bucks up there. I'm like, let me get 12 of that day. I used to l in the summertime, ⁓ my God, they were. speaker-1: That's a pretty goddamn good idea. speaker-0: 'Cause you would what I would do is I would take a couple home, yeah, throw them in the freezer and then when I got Mr. Softy, I'd put it in a bolt and then throw those in with all food. But then most of the time I would just like pop ⁓ like they were dude, amazing sh speaker-1: Hey, that sounds like a goddamn adult idea right about nap, bruh. speaker-0: Hey Welcome to the Fat Boy. speaker-1: We could probably do that in about another twenty minutes, bro. speaker-0: Yeah, it's a ma I always say like I'm junky and stuff. I should be nine hundred pounds away, some of the stuff I do. Yeah, but it's so ⁓ no doubt. speaker-1: Good. ⁓ like I actually I remember the the name of the ⁓ the one place was called the Lamberts. It was in Hamilton, like ⁓ near ⁓ Hamilton Station and the other little store was Al's Market, like in around here in South Jersey. ⁓ my god. Still love those little corner stores. Those mom and cop mom and pop corner stores are like the best, especially like in a little town like that. Cause like you said, when all the kids are out, man, it's like either, yeah, I mean you're you're you're coming home for dinner. You know, maybe every once in a while you're going home for lunch. But you know what I mean? By that time it's like something really easy because mom's getting she's actually making everything for dinner. So like you you know, you guys are hanging out by morning, you're running around all over the place, maybe you're getting some snacks from everyone else's houses or whatever, just drinking iced teas or you know, what the hell was this? Remember the ⁓ the little ⁓ jug, the plastic jugs? speaker-0: That's what they're called, jugs. Yeah. Of sugar water. Yeah. They still make those. speaker-1: Hell yeah. ⁓ yeah. I'm still with it. They used to have the pina colada ones, dude. Love them. speaker-0: I got a little confused speaking I don't mean to cut you off. I got a little confused because for the end of the year party at the elementary school and even at the ⁓ middle school they had like the Kona Ice, yeah, which is like Rita's. Yeah. They had the Kona Ice people come in and it was like a truck and they were you know, they give you a cup of ice and on the side is the flavors and so the w the principal walks over to me in the elementary school and she goes, ⁓ me and the two troopers I work with are speaker-1: Yeah, okay. Yeah. 'Cause you ain't definitely getting Kona like when we were kids though, bro. We didn't they didn't have that. speaker-0: And yeah, new. But she comes over and she was just like, Hey, why don't you guys go get some water ice or whatever? We have to be professional at all times. I was ⁓ we appreciate I appreciate. I can't speak for them, but yeah, I'm good. And she was like, I don't know. They have adult flavors too. And she walked away, like the three of looked at them like they serving alcohol up at this motherfucker. Is there like pina colada? Is that martini? Like, what is going on? speaker-1: You know what I mean? Won't you like a peanut club? speaker-0: Yeah, I was ma'am, is there seven knockle over there? What's going on? And I she was like, I'm not even gonna over there, like, I'm not even gonna ask. I was like, I can't have any either. But yeah, I was I still to this day don't know what the adult flavors were. There was a lot of them teachers lined up for it. I was like, Well hell yeah. I was like, man, it must be speaker-1: ⁓ I've actually made it I made a couple of ones like that for like a couple of parties. I made like a sh a red snow cone and a blue snow cone and it was nothing but booze, bro. Nothing but booze. Yeah, yeah, yeah. This is someone's backyard. speaker-0: Yeah, but isn't school grounds. ⁓ Would like to think it was just pina colada without the alcohol. You what I mean? It was kind of you know that kind of deal. But yeah, yeah, we didn't have. speaker-1: Yeah, the not the Kona stuff. speaker-0: Yeah, Mr. Softy roll up for the eighth graders the day before. speaker-1: I mean they had like they've done it for us at work, you know, but like yeah, when we're kids though, man, Mr. Softy, that was yeah, you you had to buy that your own, bro. And you better hope you got a nice Mr. Softie in your neighborhood. Yeah. Because sometimes they would just drive right through or whatever, man. You have like all t thirty-five thousand kids running chasing after the damn thing and then he would stop at like at the park or something. But he would like it was almost like he'd draw you out. He was like a goddamn Pied Piper. He's like and all the kids start running out and slow and by that time the world speaker-0: No doubt. Stops rotating when he comes through your day. Like everything just stops. speaker-1: Like during the summertime though, by the time he actually stops you, he's he's got you running anyway, so you're definitely working up a thirst and a hunger. So you really gotta make that dollar stretch or two bucks. speaker-0: Another thing I I have great memories of is before we moved to New Jersey, we live in Philadelphia, there was a fire hydrant right in front of our house in our row home. And my dad had the key to it. And he he was a welder, a fabricator, you know, made build cars and stuff. We talked about that before. He welded like this cap. And with like the sprinkler things off to the side and he would screw that on and then open up the hydrant for the kids in the neighborhood and we'd all play under it and stuff. ⁓ that's cool. It was awesome. And then, you know, the fire department would show up like an hour later and shut it off and they're like, who turned this on? And we're like, Tony, nothing. Four or five year old kids are like, yeah. speaker-1: Well I remember like you know in the Bronx and stuff like that, you it was just like the fire hydrogen was on. It just like spraying all over the place. But when I got to Jersey, the like you know, they up the upper game because that's when everyone had yards and garden hoses. And there was like the what was the one with like remember like the clown head that actually had like those and it was just like just like shoot water all over the goddamn place? I was like, what the hell is that? You get whipped in the lake and like ⁓ speaker-0: Yeah, I was ⁓ I never did the ⁓ the sprinkler thing always get covered in grass. Like you would hit that slip and slide and like foo and when you hit the end of it man you would get up and you just had like because every parent cut the grass before the party. Yeah. And then you would get up and you would just like grass man, like you had grass ever speaker-1: ⁓ did this with like grass shavings. Yeah, they didn't like the thing where they're raking up the grass shavings afterwards, bro. So you just have like a you look like when you when you got wet, you got back up, you look like you're wearing a goddamn Scottish gilly suit. yeah. ⁓ yeah, but it was great though 'cause you were always like w you know, you're cooled down because it was frickin' hot. speaker-0: But then nowadays they have every summer party you go to, they got the bouncing house. Yeah. And then we every once in a while after a couple of beers, you like stick your head in there and you're like, ⁓ my god, the heat those things Yeah, I speaker-1: ⁓ yeah. I go on him. I go in him, dude. I mean I remember like what was it like you know back in the day with Mickey and all them when they would have that was yes it was and it was definitely an adult themed party because people were getting banged in that husband. You had to pick a corner. It was cool. But yeah, there was like the my one buddy, he had his a birthday party for his son, and it was Star Wars themed, so I was in my freaking glory. And he had a hot dog cart. speaker-0: It like an adult size. speaker-1: I was like, ⁓ and it was like in his family, you know, with the hot dog cart. He had lightsabers, he had the bouncy castle, he had the beer. I was just so freaking happy. I was just dude, half tuned up in this bouncy castle with the kids. It was great. I love bouncy castles, man. speaker-0: Nice. Yeah. I also miss ⁓ my buddy Chris. ⁓ growing up with him, like like I said, his ⁓ younger brother was my best friend, ⁓ guy we lost way too early. growing up with them two meat heads, they had like this big in ground pool. I mean, it it rivals Bob's. It was it was pretty big. Really? Yeah. And ⁓ you know, just some of the parties we threw there. and through the years, like when we were in high school and stuff, we'd throw parties there. Winter, summer, it didn't matter. When in the summertime obviously the pool was open, They would have people over. Yeah. ⁓ but like even as we grew up, Chris joined the Marines, but he was reserved, so he came back home. Me and Mike left for the army. ⁓ when I got out of the army, Mike went back in because he had gotten out and then he went back in. so me and Chris became really close and he met his ⁓ they weren't married, they never got married, but it was his girlfriend and they ended up having kids. So then it transitioned from ⁓ You know, we are high school kids partying this yard too. Okay, now we're growing up and now all of a sudden it's like, Holy crap, we're at a birthday party for Chris's kids. Yeah. So it was pretty cool to see the generational thing. Like you're there for all of it. And every summer cause his daughters were born in the speaker-1: And we see it all the time too with ⁓ the the rest of our friends too, man. speaker-0: Well, his one daughter was born in August. I think the other one's in September or November. Somewhere in the fall. But like and every summer we would all get together in his house like and barbecue. Like and the party. Like the best, man. I it's it was absolutely phenomenal. Those are some of the best nights. It's like I said, I've been blessed in life, man. Like ⁓ I there summer's always puts ⁓ summer always puts a smile on my face, man. ⁓ hopefully I can get this yard done quick enough for maybe like I'm gonna have people over this year, but I mean It's not set up the way I want to. When I get it fin like I'm it we're gonna start speaker-1: No, I know the way you're gonna do it, I know. ⁓ no doubt. speaker-0: No doubt. So ⁓ yeah, but summer always puts a big smile on my face, man, because I have so many great memories of it. And ⁓ hopefully keep making those memories. speaker-1: Well, like, you know, with this, like, you it's not just that the old like the clown head slip and slide and stuff like that. And you know, the you know, there's people that either didn't have a pool, which was cool, you know, but if you had a pool, it was awesome. But there was also people that used to, you know, swim in in the creeks, ⁓ swimming in like, you know, water holes and stuff like that. ⁓ man, there's like we had like in my town, we had like the best rope swing in South Jersey, dude. And it was just this huge tree. And it had certain spots. It was like this really thick gauge rope. And it would literally like when you got in, there was two spots you can actually swing from. And the main spot, you know, is of course it was like it was made by like fellow kids. So it was just like, you know, the two by fours all nailed up the tree and everything was all like rickety and all that crap. And it was just ⁓ it would just sling you out to the middle of the lake. And it was awesome, man. And everyone had to wear sneakers because, you know, it would just be like all this muck and All this other crap in the damn lake, but ⁓ that was the best rope swing in South Jersey. But I get it after a while, like, you know, the limbs got broke, cut down and you know, that beautiful memory is dead. But you know, that's actually where I go to, you know, make my breakfast and stuff like that when I'm hanging out, you know, on my days off. And just enjoying the scenery, enjoying the lake. And ⁓ we I I even had birthday parties there. That was just nice to be able to like that rope swing is just like the you could just jump out the tree. There was like two two spots you could swing from, and then one you had to climb on this freaking long high-ass branch, and you just like dangle out or just jump out, dude. And it was just ⁓ the best rope swing ever. speaker-0: Yeah, Riverside, I mean you a lot of kids used to swim off the train bridge. ⁓ a buddy of mine got really like he got electrocuted to the point where he almost killed him. ⁓ so that stopped. And then ⁓ another place we used to go, because like the Rancocus Creek and the Delaware kind of meet, yeah, right at the point of Hawk Island and Delanco and speaker-1: Shit. speaker-0: There was like a lake back there we used to party at and then people would go cliff diving because it was like a cliff and then Delaware River. So we'd dive off of that into the river and stuff. So there was always a place to swim. ⁓ yeah. But we always kind of took care of each other and made sure everyone's all right. Yeah, like when ⁓ I wasn't there, I had nothing to do with it. But ⁓ when my buddy got electrocuted, another friend of mine, well two of ⁓ actually saved his life. Like he was like they knocked him off and swam him to the shore. So like we always had each other's backs. Shit. Like if somebody got hurt or somebody's drowned like we always went in. That's that was one thing about that small township, man. It's just kinda like everybody looked out for each other. I mean you might be beefing with somebody, but if they got in trouble like we we kind of took care of each other. So and that was another good thing about, you know, the summertime everybody like you can go swimming and people had speaker-1: Yeah, right? Like, ⁓ shit, what are we gonna do? Yeah, well with the summer here, like you said, I mean there's adults now 'cause now like you know, when you're a kid, you're jumping off the you know, the rocks and stuff. But now when you're an adult, you got like the adult toys, man. I'm talking jet skis, boats, spade boat. ⁓ yeah, there's still parties going out there too, man. speaker-0: Yeah, I got a little iffy on ⁓ when it comes to the water. Yeah. Like I kinda get a little that's one thing I've always been super careful of. Yeah. Because you'd get really fucked up real quick. ⁓ in like a boating accident or something. ⁓ yeah. But ⁓ speaker-1: ⁓ yeah. Yeah. My buddy works for the Coast Guard, so that's that's happened plenty of times already, even on the Iran Cocus, especially because you're right, it does connect to the Delaware and you go right into Philly. You could be in Philly, you know, like in thirty minutes. speaker-0: There's a contingent I mean we were friends, ⁓ not real good friends, ⁓ kind of people I grew up with and stuff. There's like a small group of people in Riverside that like they all get on their boats and they go down to like the Camden waterfront, like if a concert's there, they're all like all them boats you see out in the river. Yeah, they're out there, they do the tubing thing, like they drive all the way up to a certain point and then they tube all the way down the riverside and like right on the Yeah, tubing's another thing. ⁓ yeah, everybody does that. speaker-1: Yeah, waiting pines and stuff like that. My ⁓ buddy of mine lives like right down the street from it. So like yeah, f yeah as a matter of fact I think there was like a a fire at like some camp camp resort not too long ago. speaker-0: Yeah. It was ⁓ the last two days, right? Like five campers burned up. speaker-1: Buddy's mom was there. She took a video. I was like, what the Yeah. I was like, Jesus Christ. speaker-0: We went speaking of tubing, here's a quick funny story. My buddy ⁓ Kevin from in South Carolina, if he ever comes back up, we'll have him on. He used to own Brannigans, him and his family own Brannigans, which was Barntown, home of Dick Nixon and Thieves. Yeah. ⁓ also known as the Mall of America or the Romper Room. if you're listening to this and you know what that means, then you're part of that crew. he took us tubing one time, man, and speaker-1: I remember Brandon. Yeah. speaker-0: It was one of the greatest days of my life. But like as we were it it had just rained like really bad the night before and like the rapids were like crazy. So like the last half hour of the trip, there was like a kind of a veer off and there was a sign that said, Don't go this way. and as we were going, he kicked my buddy Jarr. And like down and like Jared couldn't stop me. He's like, We just kept going. We're like speaker-1: Yeah. speaker-0: Yeah, somebody will find them, right? Like, you know that and dude, we waited like a half hour at like the at the end where you dock and everything. And my buddy Chris was just like, We gotta go look for him. He's dead. Somebody got a call and cruise cord. Yeah. And I was just like, Yeah, we do. He was like, We do. And I was like, Yeah, the fucking cause I was smoking at the time. I was Yeah, the fucking guy's got my cigarettes. He's like, this is not a joke. We lost Jerry. Like he was getting really upset. I was just like, dude, nobody lost him. Like not like the world's not that it's not flat. He didn't float like speaker-1: Going away from murder. He sunk into the It's almost like he got one of the goddamn what is that the Charlie Brown episode where like they're all like white water rafting and like the evil team was like speaker-0: Like five minutes later he comes down to Crick and my buddy Chris like ⁓ thank god I was laughing I was like yo you got my cigarettes bitch He was like fucking Kevin kick me down a whole different He got off his tomb Chris gave him a hug he was like man I was like he was gonna send out the fucking National Guard look for me bro speaker-1: Fuck the Yeah, they were about to work. Watch the flares and stuff. speaker-0: But that was ⁓ dude, that was hysterical. 'Cause as soon as he kicked him, you're like no You're like, bye. See you morrow. speaker-1: ⁓ seems like freaking summer man because now we got like kayaking, there's kayaking groups, we got our kayaks. I got a whole bunch of water vehicles now. Yeah, man. Tubing, because like everyone now, like I'm sure there's like people like as soon as we're talking about tubing, they know there are places in Pennsylvania and stuff that by like Titusville and stuff like that. Everyone just like gets tubes and they all tie off to each other. So it's like a big cluster fucking tubes. speaker-0: Yeah, that's what ⁓ the people of River School is. speaker-1: Yeah, dude, everyone just ties off, man. Or just you know, you go to Waiting Pines in Chatsworth and everyone's either got their kayaks or tubing and stuff, just chilling, just paddling away. There was also the one I think in I forget like ⁓ it's called the Brandywine River. That one's pretty cool too, like doing kayak runs and stuff, 'cause like halfway you can stop and just get off and there's a restaurant. And you can pull your kayaks up there, get all tuned up, and then of course the second in the second half of the journey is a little bit more messy. Flipping in the water. speaker-0: There was ⁓ I forget where we went. And if Kev, if you're listening to this, text me. ⁓ we're gonna find out if Kevin still listens to the podcast. Yeah. Kev, ⁓ in South Carolina, if you're listening to this, text me what the name of that place was. Because we would start, they took you in a truck like 20 miles up the road. Yeah. And then they dropped you in the water. But like halfway through it, like there was this huge beach. And like people that I guess that was halfway point, like you said, with restaurant. And people were like drinking, hanging out, and all this stuff like that. So there was this. Like these two hot chicks were, Hey, look at this dog. And there was just dog up there and and people are like, Whose dog is this? And people are like, I don't know. So I was just Man, we can't leave his fucking dog here. Well, all of a sudden this dude comes walking out of the woods. And I was like, Yeah, he must be on a I figured he was taking a piss or something. And the guy was just like, Hey, and he was like, It's just this your dog, and he was like, Yeah, yeah, this is his house. And I'm like, What? And he was like, Yeah, I live here. I'm like, get the where the fuck do you see that? And like we walked up this small trail and there was this I like, dude, this is your backyard? And he was like, Yeah. And I was just like, Man, that is awesome. I was like, Are you cool with us hanging here? And he was like, Yeah, people do it all the time, dude. I don't he's like, you know, the dog comes down and everybody loves the dog and ⁓ it's it's cool, man. I was like, Man, this is a badass backyard. And we talked to him for a couple minutes and then got back in the car. But I forget the name of the place. Yeah. But if ⁓ Kev's listening, he'll text me and let me know. But it was cool, man. Like we hung out on the beach for like forty-five minutes and like you said, had a couple beers and then we're like, all right, let's go. And that's when we kicked Jared. So ⁓ speaker-1: That's what I love about that stuff, man, 'cause you know, there's so many people that always post about wanting to do like, you know, the fun water sports during the summertime and this is you know, this is exactly what it is, man. The the camping, the you know, tubing, kayaking, boating, just even like fishing or crabbing, it's just everyone's getting it. speaker-0: Barbecuing, horseshoes, quarter, ⁓ not quarters, yeah, beer ponds, and dam, ⁓ washers, that's one I was thinking of washers. speaker-1: Yeah, beer pong. Cam Jane Hole. Beer Olympics. speaker-0: Yeah, I'm not that I'm not that athlete now. Yeah. Yeah, I mean there was always something going on. speaker-1: Yeah. I even went with ⁓ Float Cella that was at ⁓ Island Beach State Park. ⁓ one of the best parties I've ever been to. It was just like hundreds of boats. Like just it was Tysis Shoal. And ⁓ yeah, d the friends of mine we were there and one of my friends she texted me. She's like, dude, are you at the you know, Floatchella? I like, Yeah, how the hell do you know? She's like, dude, the the girl that I you know follow from the Jersey Shore, her daughter is in the water and she's taking a picture of her and you guys are in the background. speaker-0: Like, get the fuck. speaker-1: Get out of here for real. And it was and it was. It was just like ⁓ it was just so annoying because like everyone's everyone has smaller boats or whatever, or decent sized boats. Everyone's got their anchors, and then you just see this big Vinny Boom bots boat just rolling in with all these people and it's got music going and they're just riding over like people's like ⁓ anchor lines. And we're just like, who are these freaking morts? And they like got right in the middle where everyone else is at. You know what I Kind of like just went through everybody. We're like, what the hell what the hell is this? And of course there's another, you know, people they're just like partying and stuff, but like they didn't even tie off their like jet skis, right? So the you know, the jet skis are all floating off. We're like, yo dude, you you know, you lose these jet skis. And like, you know, because they're floating away and stuff and there's other people riding around their jet skis and these are just like, you know, jet skis just unmanned floating away, so that's you it's causing a hazard. They're messing up other people's anchor line. speaker-0: No doubt. Somebody always screws it up. speaker-1: Yeah, dude, but it was a whole big boot ⁓ boat and it was all like the you know the Vinny Boombots and from freaking ⁓ the Housewives of New Jersey. It was no, it was it w it was the Housewives of New Jersey. It was them. Yeah, it was yeah, it was them. It's like Jesus Christ, I mean like you got money, but you don't know how to run a fing boat. There you can jerk. speaker-0: ⁓ is that true the cast? ⁓ wow. No they don't speaker-1: Yeah, but you know, the then and the one that was really hot, it was the one that took the picture of her daughter and you know, my buddy's boat, I'm I'm with them in in the background and my buddy Tyler's mom, Nancy, is like she's like just hanging like on one of the inner tubes, just laying there with her with her she's got really long blonde hair and it's just like flowing in the wind, just like no no care in the world. And ⁓ yeah, it was it was cool, but they just, you know, messed up the whole ⁓ vibe. You know? I mean they could party but they just like it's like they kinda interrupt. You know, like if people are in there at the beach and you're just having a good time and you just got this one boom bots family and just comes in and just up the whole aura and just like gets in the middle of everybody's shit. Yeah, those people could suck. speaker-0: You know what else I love about the summer? Certain like vegetables, like the tomatoes, Rita's corn. just I I don't eat too much salad, but in the summertime I find myself I just and then of course, you know, all the sides and all that stuff. It's just a different ⁓ yeah. It's like all right, we're gonna put the f you know, this fall food and winter food away and we're gonna bring out the spring stuff and ⁓ it just seems like everything's lighter. Yeah. But it tastes but you know, I love barbecue stuff. speaker-1: ⁓ me too, dude. speaker-0: Anything on the grill. I was I probably could, but I mean maybe not last winter. Last winter was brutal. But I'd love grilling all year round. But it just doesn't have that same feel to it. It does in the summer. speaker-1: Yeah, especially when you start smelling that charcoal and stuff. I like don't get me wrong, I got like, you flat tops and stuff like that too. And like, you know butane and propane stoves and stuff. But it's just like that firewood and it's just ⁓ it just really does ring out like summer. speaker-0: Yeah. To me I d I just think it's the pool cover. That's the difference. When you're when you're grilling and you look over 'cause like where the grill's at, you can see the pool. And when you see the cover on it, you're like, man. But like now you're just like, ⁓ fuck. Summer. Yeah. speaker-1: ⁓ yeah, when you start pulling that hush puppy off, then you know it's It's like You're like frickin' Chevy Chase from like ⁓ Christmas Malokaliki Mother Just scrolling us up. There's cousin Eddie coming out with his flop flops on. speaker-0: Yeah, it's a totally different vibe. But ⁓ you know, it's like every everything about summer's pretty tense, man. speaker-1: It is, it really is. It's just it's it's almost like 'cause it almost seems like w growing up as a kid, you just school's over, you get to do whatever you want, you know, you're you're having a great time. And and the cool thing about it too is, you know, when you don't really hang out with like mostly everybody from your school. So when you come back like the next year, yeah, I mean there's some people that actually can like do a complete total changeover, man. speaker-0: We'll get to that in our back to school. speaker-1: ⁓ yeah. ⁓ okay. All right. Okay, cool. speaker-0: Yeah, my mom always said she was like, When you were a kid in the summer, she was like, You were the dirtiest little kid. ⁓ yeah. But you were always playing in the dirt, like football sports, da da da. Yeah. She was like, but then there was like this change when you were just like the cleanest. And I still am to this day. ⁓ and I was like, It was girls. Yeah. That's what it was. It was girls. And she was just like, Yeah, I get it. She was just like, But man, you went from like the stinking dirt ball kid to ⁓ the speaker-1: The stinky kid. Looking like Pig Pen for the Yeah. So speaker-0: Yeah, you hate you don't wanna sweat. that's one thing I do hate like when you're at a barbecue and you start to sweat, you're like Yeah. And you kinda let like all the w like 'cause all the air conditioning, like all the the women are in the house, the girls and stuff, so you don't want to go in there but get out Yeah. And sit in there. speaker-1: Yeah. Well now they got those fans and stuff like that that spray water too.
