- 0:01So the end of the night here, it doesn't really matter who or
- 0:10what you are. All of us have gone through some
- 0:13form of change and substance. I mean, can we just be honest?
- 0:21It doesn't give you a right however, especially if you're
- 0:25those people, to essentially use your complexion as an excuse.
- 0:38Again, if you are really a black person who looks for a reason to
- 0:46use your complexion or to Klingon to decades slash eons to
- 0:53go of problems, let me tell you something.
- 1:00You are two things so tone deaf with reality that it's not even
- 1:07pathetic, but it's more embarrassing.
- 1:11And the second thing is you are only holding yourself back from
- 1:21being a productive person 'cause as I said many times before,
- 1:29every group of race, ethnicity have gone through some form of
- 1:35hardship. But do you know the difference
- 1:40between those groups and black people?
- 1:43Those groups have found a way to not constantly be self-centered,
- 1:49to make it all by themselves, or to continue to cling on the
- 1:55past. You know what those people did?
- 1:59They found ways to adapt to just made the best of whatever
- 2:03situation they were in, and they moved on.
- 2:07So why can't black people do that?
- 2:10Why can't they do that? Because they always want to talk
- 2:14about how things have been so unfair from them, you know,
- 2:19stealing back to the Jim Crow era and all of that slavery.
- 2:25It is 2026. If you can't ultimately find it
- 2:32within yourself to get with the program, live in reality, and
- 2:38stop bitching about decades ago, then what do you think is gonna
- 2:46happen when you ultimately find yourself as far as the community
- 2:55continue to be in the spotlight for every other reason troubling
- 3:01wise, that has nothing to do with you all being productive
- 3:04humans. See, it's all about self
- 3:08accountability, it's all about taking ownership and it's all
- 3:13about being able to move on and actually learn from the past
- 3:21while not forgetting it but having to put it to bed to be
- 3:25bad. But again, with those people is
- 3:30always everyone else's fault but theirs.
- 3:35But yet they get mad at me and others who broke away from them
- 3:40for calling out their hypocrisy. So let me ask you all this.
- 3:45Is it me, along with others who broke away from them?
- 3:49Is it our fault for staying what they are currently lacking and
- 3:54what they don't want to do as far as moving forward?
- 3:58Or is it the people who continue to use the past as an excuse to
- 4:06essentially make themselves victims?
- 4:13Now, while you think about that, think about this.
- 4:17Now, I'm not usually the type of person that could go on a rant
- 4:27and essentially put people with a shame.
- 4:31Now that would be for Wednesday on the second installment of JJ
- 4:36on Reach. But here's the long and the
- 4:39short. You cannot continue to find any
- 4:46reason for an excuse or a clutch to help you.
- 4:52Because I'm telling you right now, if you really think life is
- 4:55going to look at you a lot better because you have that
- 4:58kind of mindset, then it will not be a surprise when you
- 5:03ultimately find yourself on the 8 ball because you choose not to
- 5:08adapt and modernize with the times that's here 'cause you
- 5:13can't do anything smart about it.
- 5:19So if you really are the type of person to use any metric, if you
- 5:24will, as an excuse, you really gotta stop.
- 5:29Cause at the end of the day, nobody cares about your past
- 5:34beginnings or what have we all have gone through some form of
- 5:39hardship, struggle and circumstance.
- 5:45You cannot use that as a justification to you act the way
- 5:51you are to be, you know, so hesitant on not adapting and
- 5:57adjusting and to find a way to make it all about you.
- 6:04If you want to be viewed in a different light and in a better
- 6:09way, change and stop, bitch.
