Two Concordia Alumni Honored with New Benches | Fort Wayne News
Two Concordia Lutheran High School alumni, childhood friends turned fallen heroes, will be honored at a special dedication ceremony at the Veterans National Memorial Shrine and Museum. Army First Lieutenant Neale Shank, who died in 2007 during Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Staff Sergeant Kevin Pape, who lost his life in Afghanistan in 2010, are being remembered with newly unveiled black granite benches—funded entirely by students and JROTC units.
