- 0:00Hello. Welcome to the No God Coach
- 0:01Huddle for February 27, 2026. Your
- 0:04two-minute play of the day from God's
- 0:07playbook to know him better so we can
- 0:09love and obey him more. So, let's huddle
- 0:11up and hear today's play from Luke 13,
- 0:14which says, "No, I tell you rather,
- 0:16unless you turn to God from your sins,
- 0:18you will all die just as they did. I
- 0:21tell you rather, unless you turn from
- 0:23your sins, you will all die similarly."
- 0:26Someone asked him, "Are you only a few
- 0:29people being saved?" He answered,
- 0:31"Struggle to get in through the narrow
- 0:33door because I'm telling you, many will
- 0:35be demanding to get in and won't be able
- 0:37to." Then you will say, "We ate and
- 0:40drank with you. You taught in our
- 0:41streets." And he will tell you, "I don't
- 0:43know where you're from. Get away from
- 0:45me, all you workers of wickedness." In
- 0:48Luke 13, Jesus says twice, "Unless you
- 0:51turn from your sins, you will perish."
- 0:54Twice. That means it isn't a minor
- 0:56issue. It is the issue. And here's the
- 0:59danger for strong, responsible men. We
- 1:02assume we're fine because we're decent.
- 1:04We don't murder. We don't steal. We
- 1:06don't We work hard. And we provide for
- 1:07our families. But Jesus isn't
- 1:10confronting criminals in this passage.
- 1:12He's confronting ordinary people who
- 1:14assume they're good enough. The real
- 1:16problem isn't just what we do with our
- 1:18hands. It's what we do in our hearts. We
- 1:21hate, we lust, we covet, we gossip and
- 1:24mostly we ignore God. And often we spend
- 1:27our time, talent, treasure building our
- 1:29own kingdoms and not his. Then someone
- 1:32asked Jesus, "Are only a few being
- 1:34saved?" And he says, "Struggle to enter
- 1:37through the narrow door. Many will try
- 1:39to enter and not be able." Then comes a
- 1:42sobering warning. Lord, we ate and drank
- 1:44with you. You taught in our streets. And
- 1:46he replies, I don't know where you're
- 1:48from. Familiarity with Jesus is not the
- 1:51same as following Jesus. Church
- 1:54attendance isn't disciplehip. Knowing
- 1:56Bible stories isn't surrender. Being
- 1:59moral isn't repentance. The narrow door
- 2:02is humility. It's turning from sin. And
- 2:05it's denying yourself daily and
- 2:07following Jesus. This doesn't mean we
- 2:09earn our salvation. We're saved by grace
- 2:11through faith. But that faith that saves
- 2:14changes our direction. It produces
- 2:17repentance. It produces obedience. It
- 2:20focuses on the kingdom of God. Not
- 2:22perfection, but a new trajectory. Run
- 2:26today's play. Men, examine your
- 2:28repentance. When was the last time you
- 2:30confessed real sin before God? Audit
- 2:33your priorities. Is your life marked by
- 2:36God's kingdom building or just advancing
- 2:38your own and practice one act of
- 2:41self-denial today. Choose obedience over
- 2:44comfort. Man, Jesus isn't being harsh.
- 2:47He's being merciful. He's warning us now
- 2:49so we're not shocked later. Don't trust
- 2:52your decency. Enter the narrow door.
- 2:55Men, if this huddle helps you know God
- 2:57better so you can obey him more, share
- 2:59it with a friend and make a comment so
- 3:01that other men can find their way into
- 3:04the huddle.
