- 0:00Speaker 1: Today, President Trump expects you to hold a cabinet meeting,
- 0:03Speaker 1: and as you well know, those can sometimes last four
- 0:06Speaker 1: hours and then go along even longer than that. But
- 0:09Speaker 1: the New York Times is questioning the President's fitness, saying
- 0:12Speaker 1: shorter days are signs of fatigue the White House, as
- 0:16Speaker 1: you might imagine, pushing back.
- 0:19Speaker 2: One fake news story over the weekend before I let
- 0:21Speaker 2: you all go from the New York Times that took
- 0:24Speaker 2: about one third of the president's daily calendar and his
- 0:28Speaker 2: daily schedule and said that he's doing less than he
- 0:32Speaker 2: did in his first term, or he might not be
- 0:34Speaker 2: fit for the job. That is unequivocally false.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Joining us how to react as senior right before the
- 0:40Speaker 3: Washington Examiner and Fox News contributor Joe Kanca joke and
- 0:43Speaker 3: warring to you. Notably, yesterday, the Trump administration launched what
- 0:47Speaker 3: they are calling a media bias portal that exposes fake news.
- 0:53Speaker 2: So where do you.
- 0:54Speaker 3: Think we are when it comes to fairness in reporting
- 0:57Speaker 3: overall in this country?
- 1:00Speaker 4: Oh, somewhere near the gutter or blow it at this point,
- 1:04Speaker 4: carly So good that this administration is calling out the
- 1:07Speaker 4: press for not doing their jobs correctly.
- 1:10Speaker 5: And it's all intentional in terms of the bias.
- 1:12Speaker 4: Look, if you want to criticize Donald Trump over a
- 1:15Speaker 4: certain policy, fine, that's part of the deal of being president.
- 1:18Speaker 5: But what is undisputed is his work ethic.
- 1:20Speaker 4: I mean, no president in the first ten months of
- 1:22Speaker 4: his term of any term, has been more impactful and
- 1:26Speaker 4: more transformative than Donald Trump has. And no president has
- 1:30Speaker 4: certainly been more accessible to the press. The New York Times,
- 1:32Speaker 4: by the way, has no standing here whatsoever. This is
- 1:35Speaker 4: the same paper who pushed the cheap fakes narrative in
- 1:38Speaker 4: June of twenty twenty four regarding Joe Biden trying to
- 1:41Speaker 4: play defense of a sitting president who clearly was not
- 1:44Speaker 4: fit for any office mentally at that moment in his term.
- 1:48Speaker 4: And this is the same paper in twenty twenty three,
- 1:49Speaker 4: so we're talking three years into Biden's first term only
- 1:53Speaker 4: term who said that Biden had quote striking his stamina
- 1:56Speaker 4: and this is an actual quote in the so called reporting,
- 2:00Speaker 4: was sharp and wise, a critical moments, able to rise
- 2:02Speaker 4: to the occasion, even the dead of night, to confront
- 2:05Speaker 4: a dangerous world.
- 2:06Speaker 5: Uh huh.
- 2:06Speaker 4: So Look, Caroline Levitt was right to call out the
- 2:10Speaker 4: so called paper of record. They screwed up with Joe Biden.
- 2:14Speaker 4: Now they're trying to make up for it by trying
- 2:15Speaker 4: to equate Biden with Trump, which no person saying or
- 2:19Speaker 4: sober if you watch Donald Trump on a daily basis,
- 2:21Speaker 4: would ever confuse the two in terms of mental ability
- 2:25Speaker 4: and work ethic that we do know.
- 2:27Speaker 1: But Joe, they apparently are refusing to admit that they
- 2:30Speaker 1: screwed up with Joe Biden. Here's what they responded to
- 2:33Speaker 1: Fox News Digital quote. The Times White House team, including
- 2:36Speaker 1: Katie Rodgers, the same reporter miss Levitt, singled out that
- 2:39Speaker 1: I have reported without fear or favor across multiple administrations
- 2:43Speaker 1: from both parties. Katie's reporting on President Biden was just
- 2:46Speaker 1: as unflinching as it has been on President Trump, despite
- 2:49Speaker 1: cherry picking headlines attempting to prove something that simply isn't true. Really, Joe,
- 2:54Speaker 1: the Times was reporting on Joe Biden's decline in year one.
- 2:58Speaker 5: I looked.
- 2:58Speaker 1: I didn't see that anywhere, did you?
- 3:02Speaker 5: No, I did not.
- 3:03Speaker 4: I wrote a whole book on Joe Biden in twenty
- 3:05Speaker 4: twenty two outlining how mentally the elevator wasn't going to
- 3:10Speaker 4: the penthouse at that point. So yeah, the New York Times. Look,
- 3:13Speaker 4: they could talk about how unbiased they are.
- 3:15Speaker 5: They haven't. And I've said this before in this network.
- 3:18Speaker 4: I'll say it again because of Bears repeating they have
- 3:20Speaker 4: not endorsed a Republican presidential candidate since Dwight D. Eisenhower
- 3:24Speaker 4: in nineteen fifty six. That means you thought that I
- 3:26Speaker 4: don't know McGovern, Carter twice, Mondale, Decaucus, John Kerry, We're
- 3:32Speaker 4: all great candidates over the people that actually won those elections.
- 3:36Speaker 4: This is not a paper that has any standing when
- 3:38Speaker 4: it comes to being unbiased.
- 3:39Speaker 5: That we do know all right.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Well, when it comes to the press briefing yesterday, Caroline
- 3:43Speaker 3: Lovett also blamed Form President Biden's leadership in vetting and
- 3:46Speaker 3: the vetting done for Afghans during his administration for the
- 3:50Speaker 3: DC shooting. Take listen to what she had to say there.
- 3:53Speaker 2: We continue to live with the deadly consequences of Joe
- 3:56Speaker 2: Biden's horrific leadership. Nearly one hundred thousand Afghans were recklessly
- 4:01Speaker 2: released into the United States with little to no vetting.
- 4:04Speaker 2: But the terrifying truth is that the Afghanistan debacle is
- 4:07Speaker 2: just a small part of Democrats complete and total betrayal
- 4:10Speaker 2: of the American people during the Biden years.
- 4:13Speaker 3: It was an important part of rebriefing opening comments there
- 4:16Speaker 3: final thoughts to you.
- 4:19Speaker 4: Well, this is what happens when you allow carly millions
- 4:22Speaker 4: of people into the country through the US southern border
- 4:24Speaker 4: that was opened.
- 4:25Speaker 5: During the Biden administration, or when you allow.
- 4:27Speaker 4: Thousands upon thousands of Afghans in the country without any
- 4:31Speaker 4: real vetting process. Including the shooter of Sarah Beckstrom and
- 4:34Speaker 4: Andrew Wolf of the National Guard. Yet, what we're hearing
- 4:36Speaker 4: from the media, many prominent Democrats that send oow, Donald
- 4:39Speaker 4: Trump is to blame for the shooting. Why because he
- 4:41Speaker 4: deployed the National Guard to Washington, DC, a city that
- 4:44Speaker 4: was completely under duress from high crime and murders. So
- 4:47Speaker 4: countless lives were saved from this deployment. But many Democrats
- 4:51Speaker 4: and the media's because they're reflexively anti Trump on anything
- 4:54Speaker 4: he does, they're trying to put this tragedy on him,
- 4:56Speaker 4: and it's a whole bull of wrong.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Yeah, and we received news yesterday that and your Wolf
- 5:00Speaker 3: is responsive, so very good news there. But we are
- 5:03Speaker 3: still mourning the loss of Sarah Beckstrom and we will
- 5:05Speaker 3: be for some time to come. Joe, thank you so
- 5:07Speaker 3: much for joining us.
