  And in this episode we're going to be talking about Elon Musk in

  his cash infusion to SpaceX because he sold some stocks and

  he now he has a bunch of money so he can spend that.

  Money and anything and we believe he's going to be

  spending that money on SpaceX because they do need a cash

  infusion right now. SpaceX Starship huge deal.

  Star. Lake is a huge deal, the Falcon

  9 in the business with NASA, and the Department of Defense is
• 1:10
  going well, but there's these other things in the future that
• 1:13
  SpaceX and Elon Musk have to think about.

  And that's what this money is going towards.

  So let's take a look at what he did Elon Musk sold.

  Billion dollars in Tesla stock, that is a massive amount of
• 1:30
  money, but that money is going to be taxed by the federal
• 1:34
  government. So 11 billion of it goes to the
• 1:38
  federal government in that, he has possibly another 2 billion
• 1:43
  ish. We don't know the exact number
• 1:45
  that will go to California, taxes.

  It's in between 1.5 and 2.5 billion because he did move to
• 1:52
  Texas at one point moved everything.

  Nothing from California to Texas.
• 1:56
  So there's an in-between time there were not exactly sure how
• 1:59
  much he's going to be this paying to California for taxes.

  So, 2 billion, California for taxes, that he has 3 billion
• 2:08
  left. And let's kind of dig into what

  he may be doing with that three billion because SpaceX has a
• 2:14
  couple projects that they're working on and SpaceX currently
• 2:19
  the Department of Defense, Falcon nine trips to the space
• 2:23
  station. Astronauts all that stuff is
• 2:26
  taken care of and all that stuff is paying for itself.

  But there's two things starlink and Starship that Elon could be
• 2:36
  putting money towards and they kind of go together as well.

  So Starship, you're going to need a Starship to transport a
• 2:44
  huge amount of starlink satellites to get the job done
• 2:48
  for the future of the space company.

  So SpaceX is building Starship. Down here in Boca Chica, which

  satellites, I should say, to build a Starship in order to get

  those things up there. They're building Starship right

  now, but they've been having problems with raptor engines,

  the new Raptor engines are highly complex.

  And they're going to be more powerful than the current Raptor
• 6:59
  engines. The Raptor one's a raptor to is

  going to be a lot more powerful which means they can boost more
• 7:04
  things into orbit. So and also further than that

  to. So further down the line, if

  SpaceX wants to send things to Mars, they're going to need

  powerful engines to get them there.

  So that's what's going to happen with Starship.

  They need all that money to go into the Raptor development,

  they also need working capital, you know, they have working
• 7:23
  capital for Means such as, like, I was saying, before, the Falcon

  9 launch is current Starlight, customers, Etc.

  But future working, capital for Starbase and also moving
• 7:33
  operations from down. Here are the coast to Florida?

  Like, how do they get this stuff over there?

  How do they move the things over there?
• 7:42
  They're going to need Capital to do that.

  We're going to need money to build.
• 7:45
  Starships for the hls, you know, they won the hls contract, but
• 7:49
  that was a low-cost contract from NASA.

  So SpaceX is going to Put some of their own money into it, just
• 7:56
  to kind of offset the cost, so they can get that contract.

  So, but they need to build that because 2025, I believe is when
• 8:03
  they're going to be sending astronauts down to the surface
• 8:06
  of the Moon and they're going to be using Starships to do that.

  And if they're not done by then because they ran out of money.

  That's not a good thing. So SpaceX needs to develop this
• 8:17
  Starship as soon as possible. And that's what this cash
• 8:22
  infusion is. All about Get it in there.
• 8:25
  Start building these Raptor engines because it's reusable.
• 8:29
  So these Raptor to they're going to have to make hundreds of
• 8:31
  these things because they're going to make multiple Starships
• 8:35
  at this point. And if they make these multiple
• 8:38
  Starships, they need multiple hundreds of engines.
• 8:44
  So 33 up Raptor engines on a, the base of a Starship.
• 8:49
  So, The booster 33 engines. And then on top of that,
• 8:53
  possibly nine engines, the on a Starship itself eventually.

  So, a lot of engines, just, let's just say, a rough 50

  engines about, like, or more than that.

  Yeah. But what about 50 engines?

  Yeah, rough 50 engines per Starship.

  So 50 Raptor 2's /. Starship.

  Four star superstar ship. So they need to pay for that.

  I need to pay for the development and they also need
• 9:22
  to pay to make them and ship them.

  Everything costs money. So, shipping them from one
• 9:29
  protection facility down to Starship cost money in order
• 9:33
  because it's far away. They have McGregor test
• 9:36
  facility, which is hours away from Starship, they ship them
• 9:41
  in, and then they put them on the, on the Starship, and on the
• 9:46
  booster. So, That's the thing you have to

  think about for the future of Starship is that the is a lot of
• 9:54
  costs involved. You have to pay for the people.

  You have to pay for the people that feed the people at
• 9:58
  Starbase. You have to pay for food, water,
• 10:02
  lodging gas, people. Fly it in people.

  Flying out everything. So in road maintenance as well.

  So SpaceX is kicking in for somebody for the road Highway
• 10:13
  for and the road is currently ripped up.

  There's half of the road ripped. Up.

  So SpaceX is kicking in for that because they transport heavy
• 10:22
  heavy machinery, down, those roads all day and all night
• 10:26
  long, and there's deliveries all the time down there.

  So they're kicking it, a little bit of money for that too.

  So there's costs for Starship that aren't just building
• 10:36
  Starship, you know. So everything has a price and
• 10:41
  SpaceX Elon Musk is putting that money into Starship so they can
• 10:46
  fly it and Get starlink operational, which will
• 10:50
  eventually start paying the bills for everything because
• 10:53
  that's it's a constant stream of money because SpaceX has
• 10:57
  Department of Defense contracts and they have NASA contracts.

  Sure that's money coming in the pipeline but it's sporadic.

  It's not every single month, you know, not, it's not constantly
• 11:08
  like hundreds of people. Thousands of people hundreds of
• 11:12
  thousands of people paying and a consumer business.

  Every month, they They have the Federal Business, the government
• 11:20
  business consumer business, and they'll also have trips around
• 11:25
  the Moon with your moon, that's already paid for, I believe.

  And there's other trips that people will be making to
• 11:31
  wherever they want to send them basically because it Starship,
• 11:34
  they can go anywhere. So future looks bright for
• 11:37
  SpaceX. They have a lot of money.
• 11:40
  Come again SpaceX might not get all of the 3 billion.

  They might get one or two billion from Elan but we're not
• 11:46
  exactly sure what That number is because he hasn't disclosed it.

  But anywhere between 1 billion of 3 billion is what we're
• 11:54
  expecting for SpaceX from Elon Musk.
