- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Now that we've opened the door and started
- 0:08Speaker 1: talking about Jean-Luc Brunel, we're going to continue talking about him,
- 0:12Speaker 1: but we're going to do it by using a deposition
- 0:15Speaker 1: that was given by somebody that used to work for him.
- 0:19Speaker 1: And her name is Maritza Vasquez. And what she has
- 0:22Speaker 1: to say in this deposition not only proves that they
- 0:25Speaker 1: were involved in human trafficking, but it also proves a
- 0:28Speaker 1: slew of other financial crimes that they were engaging in
- 0:32Speaker 1: and also crimes against the immigration services. So, why don't
- 0:37Speaker 1: we just dive right in to this deposition and let's
- 0:41Speaker 1: see what Maritza Vasquez had to say. The person asking
- 0:45Speaker 1: the questions is Bradley Edwards. And whenever I say question,
- 0:50Speaker 1: that's Bradley Edwards asking the question. And the answer is
- 0:53Speaker 1: obviously coming from Miss Vasquez. Question, tell us your name. Answer,
- 1:00Speaker 1: Maritza Vasquez. Question, and just to get to the point,
- 1:03Speaker 1: you know who Jeffrey Epstein is? Answer, yes. Question, and
- 1:07Speaker 1: you've met him before. Answer, by Vasquez, yes. Question, and
- 1:12Speaker 1: you know who Jean-Luc Brunel is? Vasquez, yes. Question, and
- 1:17Speaker 1: you have met him before? Vasquez, yes. Question, which one
- 1:22Speaker 1: did you meet first? Answer, Jean-Luc Brunel. Question, where did
- 1:26Speaker 1: you meet him? Vasquez, in Miami Beach. Question, when? Vasquez,
- 1:32Speaker 1: in 1998. Question, and how? Vasquez, in his office. Question,
- 1:38Speaker 1: related to what? Modeling? Vasquez, working, yeah, modeling. Question, what
- 1:45Speaker 1: at that point in time did you know about Jean-Luc Brunel? Vasquez, nothing.
- 1:50Speaker 1: At that time, I didn't know anything. Question, so did
- 1:53Speaker 1: you meet with Jean-Luc Brunel in his office in 1998? Answer,
- 1:58Speaker 1: from Vasquez, because there was a gentleman from Switzerland who
- 2:01Speaker 1: wanted to make business with them, and I was hired
- 2:04Speaker 1: by that gentleman to look through all the accounts to
- 2:07Speaker 1: make sure that, you know, they were kind of bankruptcy,
- 2:10Speaker 1: but we wanted to know that his money, his investment,
- 2:13Speaker 1: would be good, so that's why I went. Like an
- 2:16Speaker 1: external audit, To see what was the income, the expenses,
- 2:19Speaker 1: and something like that. Question, who's the guy from Switzerland? Vasquez,
- 2:25Speaker 1: I'm not going to tell you his name. Question, is
- 2:28Speaker 1: that somebody who is still in touch with Jean-Luc Brunel? Vasquez, no,
- 2:33Speaker 1: not at all. Question, what's the reason for not wanting
- 2:37Speaker 1: to disclose his name? Does he have anything to do
- 2:39Speaker 1: with this case? Vasquez, no, but I don't have permission.
- 2:43Speaker 1: I have to ask him. Question, okay. And after your
- 2:47Speaker 1: meeting with Jean-Luc Brunel in 1998, well, what company was
- 2:51Speaker 1: Jean-Luc Brunel with then? Vasquez, Karen Models it was at
- 2:55Speaker 1: the time. Then it's spelled out by Brad Edwards, K-A-R-I-N. Vasquez, yes. Question,
- 3:05Speaker 1: and is that the only other modeling agency that you
- 3:08Speaker 1: have known Jean-Luc Brunel to be associated with besides MC2? Answer, yes. Question,
- 3:15Speaker 1: and how long was Jean-Luc Brunel with Karen from 1998 through? Answer, no.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Jean-Luc was the owner of Karen's. Before that, I think
- 3:24Speaker 1: since 1986 in Paris. Question, all right. And why was
- 3:30Speaker 1: he no longer affiliated with Karen at some point in time? Answer,
- 3:34Speaker 1: he closed. He, how you say, he made a dissolution.
- 3:38Speaker 1: He dissolved the company. Question, were you hired to work
- 3:41Speaker 1: with Karen? Vasquez, I was hired to work with Karen's, yeah. Question,
- 3:47Speaker 1: when was that? Vasquez, in 1998. Question, what was your position? Vasquez,
- 3:55Speaker 1: at the time, bookkeeper. Question, in Miami? Vasquez, yes. Question,
- 4:01Speaker 1: and how long did you stay as the bookkeeper in
- 4:03Speaker 1: Miami for Karen? Vasquez, until 2003, when they changed the
- 4:08Speaker 1: company to MC Squared. Question, so when did the official
- 4:13Speaker 1: change come from Karen to MC Squared? Vasquez, in 2003. Question,
- 4:19Speaker 1: and when's the first time that you met Jeffrey Epstein? Answer,
- 4:23Speaker 1: I met Jeffrey Epstein only once in my life, and
- 4:25Speaker 1: I believe it was in 2003. 2000, yeah, by the
- 4:29Speaker 1: end of 2003, 2004. Question, where? Vasquez, in New York. Question,
- 4:36Speaker 1: what was the occasion? Vasquez, it was the open party
- 4:40Speaker 1: for MC Squared. Question, where was that held? Answer, by Vasquez,
- 4:46Speaker 1: in a discotheque in Manhattan. Question, what discotheque? Vasquez, I
- 4:51Speaker 1: don't know, I don't remember. Question, and did you meet?
- 4:56Speaker 1: Elaine Maxwell. Answer. I don't know her name, but he
- 5:00Speaker 1: was with, with a woman. I don't know. And they
- 5:03Speaker 1: say Elaine Maxwell here, not Ghislaine, by the way. Question.
- 5:06Speaker 1: And what's your understanding, or what was your understanding that Jeffrey,
- 5:10Speaker 1: in terms of Jeffrey Epstein's involvement with MC Squared? Vasquez.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Jean-Luc always said that Jeffrey was his friend, that he's
- 5:18Speaker 1: a millionaire, and that Jeffrey was giving him money to,
- 5:20Speaker 1: you know, loans or whatever, and the apartments for the girls,
- 5:24Speaker 1: and things like that. Question. Question. Alright, let's break that down.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Giving money for what? Purpose. For furthering MC Squared? Vasquez. For? Yeah,
- 5:35Speaker 1: for the money that came to MC Squared. Not to,
- 5:37Speaker 1: I don't know. Prior to 2003? I don't know if
- 5:40Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein ever gave him money. I know that from
- 5:44Speaker 1: the longest Jean-Luc was living in an apartment that belongs
- 5:47Speaker 1: to Jeffrey Epstein. Question. What apartment is that? Answer by Vasquez,
- 5:53Speaker 1: it's in New York. I don't know the address. Question,
- 5:56Speaker 1: is that at 301 East 66th Street? Vasquez, yes, something
- 6:00Speaker 1: like that. I think that's the one. Question, and it's
- 6:03Speaker 1: my understanding that Jeffrey Epstein owns or controls numerous apartments
- 6:08Speaker 1: in that building at that same address. Is that right?
- 6:12Speaker 1: Answer by Vasquez, yes. Question, and have you ever been
- 6:16Speaker 1: to that address? Vasquez, no. Answer, and how do you
- 6:20Speaker 1: know that he owns or controls numerous apartments at that address? Answer,
- 6:25Speaker 1: because at the time, Evelyn Valenzuela was the office manager
- 6:29Speaker 1: of the new, and she was dealing personally with the
- 6:32Speaker 1: assistant of Jeffrey Epstein, and she had to do the
- 6:35Speaker 1: payments for the cable, and I believe, electricity. Question, and Evelyn,
- 6:41Speaker 1: who was the assistant of Jeffrey Epstein that Evelyn was
- 6:44Speaker 1: dealing with? Answer, I don't know. Question, Cecilia Stone? Answer,
- 6:50Speaker 1: I believe so. Question, do you remember that name? Answer, yes. Question,
- 6:55Speaker 1: that's somebody who no longer lives here, right? Answer, I
- 7:00Speaker 1: believe I heard that, yeah. Question, who did you hear
- 7:03Speaker 1: that from? Answer, from Vasquez. From Evelyn. From Connetta. Question, okay,
- 7:09Speaker 1: and at some point in time, you came to know
- 7:11Speaker 1: that the models who were staying at these apartments at
- 7:14Speaker 1: 301 East 66th Street, right? I don't know specifically they
- 7:18Speaker 1: stay at Jean-Luc's apartment, but I know that the models
- 7:21Speaker 1: were staying in different apartments that belong to Jeffrey Epstein. Question,
- 7:27Speaker 1: and what are the names of the models that were
- 7:29Speaker 1: staying there? Do you remember? Answer, most of them, you know,
- 7:33Speaker 1: at that time when I was there, who? All these
- 7:36Speaker 1: little girls. Mohini. Question. How do you spell that? Answer. M-O-H-I-N-I.
- 7:44Speaker 1: You know, that was in 2000-something. I don't recall all
- 7:48Speaker 1: the names, but there is a list that you can
- 7:50Speaker 1: get from the office in New York. That might be
- 7:54Speaker 1: a list we're interested in, huh? Everybody wants to talk
- 7:57Speaker 1: about lists. How about this list? Question. A list. Answer.
- 8:03Speaker 1: They have a list of models that were staying in
- 8:04Speaker 1: these apartments. Question, if I were to request it from
- 8:09Speaker 1: the office in New York, what would I ask for? Answer,
- 8:12Speaker 1: by Vasquez, for the model's apartment list. Chargeback for model's apartments. Question, chargeback? Answer, yeah,
- 8:21Speaker 1: because Jeffrey Epstein never charged Jean-Luc Brunel for rent, but
- 8:24Speaker 1: Jean-Luc was charging rent to the girls. And in her statement,
- 8:28Speaker 1: it shows 301-66 apartment A or apartment B, and he
- 8:32Speaker 1: was charging them like $ 1, 000 a month. Question, how do
- 8:36Speaker 1: you know that? Vasquez, well, because I was doing the statements. Question,
- 8:41Speaker 1: you were actually the one doing the statement? Answer by Vasquez,
- 8:45Speaker 1: not all the time. I was in New York starting
- 8:47Speaker 1: in 2003. Question, through what date? You were in New
- 8:52Speaker 1: York from 2003 to 2006, Vasquez answers. Question, and while
- 8:57Speaker 1: you were in New York, you were working for MC Squared? Vasquez, yes. Question,
- 9:03Speaker 1: And what is the proof that you have seen that
- 9:05Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein was a partner or financial supporter of MC Squared? Answer.
- 9:11Speaker 1: I was the one who took the papers to Mellon Bank. Question.
- 9:15Speaker 1: That's in Miami. Vasquez. Yes. And sweet Paul. I was
- 9:20Speaker 1: talking at that time to Rich. I believe his name
- 9:22Speaker 1: was Rich Ganny. That was one of the other assistants
- 9:26Speaker 1: of Jeffrey Epstein. Question. Ganny. G-A-N-Y. Answer. By Vasquez. Yeah. Question,
- 9:33Speaker 1: do they call him Eric Ganny? Answer, that is his name. Yeah,
- 9:38Speaker 1: Eric Ganny, that's his name. I recall some things, not
- 9:41Speaker 1: all the time. I recall that Mr. Epstein didn't want
- 9:43Speaker 1: to sign the papers, but Mellon Bank didn't want to
- 9:46Speaker 1: accept the line of credit if he didn't sign. So,
- 9:49Speaker 1: we had to return the papers to New York so
- 9:51Speaker 1: he actually signed the documents. Question, and what was the
- 9:56Speaker 1: actual signing? Do you remember signing over as a line
- 9:59Speaker 1: of credit or... or answer by Vasquez as a line,
- 10:03Speaker 1: as the grantor of the line of credit? Because the
- 10:05Speaker 1: line of credit came from J.P. Morgan directly, but he
- 10:08Speaker 1: was the grantor. He was the one who was actually responsible. Question.
- 10:13Speaker 1: And how much was the line of credit? Answer. A
- 10:15Speaker 1: million dollars it was at the time. Question. And did
- 10:19Speaker 1: you ever keep track of whether or not that line
- 10:22Speaker 1: was extended or any additional monies were given to MC Squared? Vasquez, answer. No,
- 10:28Speaker 1: I don't know. Question. So in addition to his financial
- 10:31Speaker 1: guarantor on the line of credit of a million dollars,
- 10:35Speaker 1: what other involvement are you aware of that Jeffrey Epstein
- 10:38Speaker 1: had with MC Squared or the apartments at 301 East
- 10:42Speaker 1: 66th Street where the models lived? Answer by Vasquez. They
- 10:46Speaker 1: were planning on buying or associating with a girl in
- 10:49Speaker 1: France for a company. They were planning to do a company,
- 10:53Speaker 1: and actually, I gave the paper to Mr. Sean Connolly,
- 10:57Speaker 1: which is an actual paper that came from the office
- 11:00Speaker 1: of Jeffrey Epstein, that was given instructions to Jean-Luc Brunel,
- 11:04Speaker 1: saying that he wanted to have the same contract as, uh,
- 11:08Speaker 1: what's his name, of Donald Trump, and that he wanted
- 11:10Speaker 1: to have the same kind of benefits for the scouters.
- 11:14Speaker 1: So he was giving instructions to Jean-Luc Brunel on what
- 11:17Speaker 1: to do. What to? There is a woman in Paris,
- 11:21Speaker 1: I don't recall her name, Freelit, I believe it was,
- 11:24Speaker 1: and they were, there were three of them, trying to
- 11:27Speaker 1: do a new company. But then everything was like, on zero,
- 11:31Speaker 1: they never, they never did it together. Say what now?
- 11:35Speaker 1: Jean-Luc Brunel, Jeffrey Epstein, and Donald Trump together in a company?
- 11:39Speaker 1: Is that what Ms. Vasquez is saying here? Could be. Question,
- 11:44Speaker 1: and do you know why? Answer, no. Question, would you
- 11:48Speaker 1: know the lady's name in Paris if I? Answer, if
- 11:51Speaker 1: you give it to me, yeah. If you give me
- 11:53Speaker 1: the name, I can recall. Question, okay, while I'm looking
- 11:56Speaker 1: for that, how many girls that were models were living
- 12:00Speaker 1: in the apartment at any given time at 301 East
- 12:03Speaker 1: 66th Street? Answer, that's not only one apartment. There are
- 12:08Speaker 1: a lot of apartments there. There is not only one girl.
- 12:11Speaker 1: There is not only one apartment. I believe there were
- 12:14Speaker 1: like two or three apartments and they were put in
- 12:17Speaker 1: between four girls per apartment I believe. How many apartments?
- 12:23Speaker 1: I believe there were like two or three? And there
- 12:27Speaker 1: is four girls per apartment? Yes. And you know that
- 12:32Speaker 1: because you saw the documentation at MC2 that showed where
- 12:36Speaker 1: these girls were living? Yes. Did you have something to
- 12:41Speaker 1: do with the visas that were prepared for the girls
- 12:44Speaker 1: that were working? Answer, yes. I was providing the names
- 12:48Speaker 1: to the attorney. His name is Louis Font. He was
- 12:51Speaker 1: doing the visas here in Miami. There was another, Valenzuela,
- 12:55Speaker 1: was handling directly the visas in New York. And only
- 12:58Speaker 1: when she had problems, she hired another attorney. I don't
- 13:01Speaker 1: know the name of the attorney in New York, but
- 13:03Speaker 1: Louis Font is the one that was at the time
- 13:06Speaker 1: the attorney handling the visas in Miami. Question. Do you
- 13:10Speaker 1: remember doing the visa for Nadia Marcinkova? Answer. No, that
- 13:15Speaker 1: was done in New York by Eve Valenzuela. Question. And
- 13:20Speaker 1: Nadia's visa that you specifically remember being done, right? Answer. Yeah,
- 13:24Speaker 1: I remember that because at one point, I believe one
- 13:27Speaker 1: of the renovations of her visa, something happened and Mr.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Epstein called the office while I was there and he
- 13:33Speaker 1: was really upset and he spoke with Jean-Luc and And
- 13:36Speaker 1: they were really nasty with Eve. And, you know, it
- 13:39Speaker 1: wasn't if. Like it was Eve's fault. It was their
- 13:41Speaker 1: fault because they gave the wrong information. But, you know,
- 13:44Speaker 1: she was only an employee and that's it. Question. How
- 13:48Speaker 1: did Nadia Marcinkova come into the country? Answer. By a
- 13:52Speaker 1: model's visa, I believe. She was 14, by the way. Question.
- 13:57Speaker 1: And she was brought in specifically by Jeffrey Epstein or
- 14:00Speaker 1: Jean-Luc Brunel, do you remember? Answer by Vasquez. Question. Question.
- 14:32Speaker 1: And you were involved in New York in 2003? Answer, yes. Question,
- 14:36Speaker 1: so she came in sometime before that? Answer, by Vasquez,
- 14:40Speaker 1: I believe so. Question, but even back in 2003, she's still,
- 14:45Speaker 1: I don't know how old she is now. She's probably
- 14:47Speaker 1: 24 or 25. Do you know? Vasquez, answer, no. Question,
- 14:53Speaker 1: have you ever met her? Answer, no. All right, folks,
- 14:56Speaker 1: we're going to wrap up part one right here. And
- 14:58Speaker 1: in the next episode dealing with the topic we're going
- 15:00Speaker 1: to pick up with part two. All of the information
- 15:03Speaker 1: that goes with this episode can be found in the
- 15:06Speaker 1: description box.
