Latest / #TheTechHustle Podcast 🎙 / 0102: We Are Racing Toward AGI Without Guardrails
Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_03: The article that came out was by this guy named Jacob Coxton, where he resigned from anthropic and he says that we're moving too damn fast that we don't know what we're doing and we're gambling with our lives.
- 0:10SPEAKER_03: There is a percentage of maybe the AI might do something crazy.
- 0:15SPEAKER_03: And he said it's like in the 10% range.
- 0:18SPEAKER_03: So 10% uh possibilities that AI is gonna just you know off all human beings in the next decade.
- 0:24SPEAKER_03: We are very close to AGI, which is artificial general intelligence, which I think with the last few models that came out, we're really, really close.
- 0:33SPEAKER_03: They're still questioning if we're there, but the next step is like ASI, like uh artificial superintelligence.
- 0:40SPEAKER_03: That's the one that I'm really worried about.
- 0:42SPEAKER_03: That's the one that when we get there, then we're really messing with Skynet because then it's making its own decision and it's able to improve itself, and each iteration is going to be smarter and smarter and smarter than us.
- 0:56SPEAKER_03: Welcome, welcome, welcome.
- 0:58SPEAKER_03: What up, D Hustle?

- 2:42SPEAKER_03: Got your hair done.
- 2:45SPEAKER_03: There's a lot of questioning going on here.
- 2:47SPEAKER_03: Every time you see me, you you wonder what's going on.
- 2:50SPEAKER_03: I've been waiting for it to be able to finally connect all the way back, and my son was like, yo, just tie it up, man.
- 2:55SPEAKER_03: Just give it a try.

- 3:12SPEAKER_03: And they said, Uh, can you explain to us what are you doing with your hair?
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 3:18SPEAKER_03: Darwin's been asking that same question for uh for a while.
- 3:21SPEAKER_03: I'm just letting it do what it does for sure.
- 3:24SPEAKER_03: We braiding it, uh we dreading it.
- 3:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 3:26SPEAKER_03: It's called free form, man.
- 3:28SPEAKER_03: Just let it flow.
- 3:28SPEAKER_03: Let it flow.
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: JG shut cut his hair hole.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: I see that.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: He's he's gonna follow the trend, or what are we doing?
- 3:35SPEAKER_03: Nah, he ain't my trend, bro.
- 3:37SPEAKER_03: I'm on my own track here.
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 3:40SPEAKER_03: Well, we are at episode number 102.
- 3:42SPEAKER_03: If you didn't know, episode number 100 is still killing it on the internet on YouTube.
- 3:47SPEAKER_03: Check us out.
- 3:48SPEAKER_03: I'm telling you, it's probably one of our best episodes.

- 3:53SPEAKER_03: But uh, we're on our trek to 200 and beyond.
- 3:55SPEAKER_03: So this is episode number 102.
- 3:57SPEAKER_03: Um, and let me give y'all a quick run of a show.
- 3:59SPEAKER_03: So we'll have Dehustle with tech current events.
- 4:02SPEAKER_03: Sounds like we got two plugs over there.
- 4:03SPEAKER_03: See, um, and then we got Raymond's Nuggets coming up with a like conversation utility site and a TV show recommendation.
- 4:10SPEAKER_03: He he's he still thinks he's at 90, 95% this season.
- 4:15SPEAKER_03: So um, y'all y'all let him know in the comments below.
- 4:17SPEAKER_03: Um, and then afterwards, I'm gonna jump into a tech insight talk and we're gonna talk about uh Terminator.
- 4:22SPEAKER_03: Y'all ever remember y'all remember that movie?
- 4:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 4:25SPEAKER_03: We'll definitely jump into that.
- 4:26SPEAKER_03: Exactly, right?
- 4:28SPEAKER_03: Um, and then after that, we're gonna go straight into the Tech Hustle Sports Center.
- 4:32SPEAKER_03: Where's where'd your sports center sound at, bro?
- 4:34SPEAKER_03: There you go.
- 4:36SPEAKER_03: That's for later.
- 4:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's for later.
- 4:38SPEAKER_03: Um, and then after sports center, we'll have uh local sponsorship.
- 4:42SPEAKER_03: So we're gonna give a shout-out to all our local sponsors, outro, and then we close out the show.
- 4:46SPEAKER_03: What y'all think, fellas?
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: That's good.
- 4:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, what do y'all think, audience?
- 4:49SPEAKER_03: Y'all ready?
- 4:49SPEAKER_03: Y'all ready?
- 4:50SPEAKER_03: We want it.
- 4:51SPEAKER_03: All right, all right.
- 4:52SPEAKER_03: So, first up, we got my guy D Hustle on Tech Current Effects.
- 4:54SPEAKER_03: Q up your little chick-ka.
- 4:59SPEAKER_03: Look at my guy.
- 5:00SPEAKER_01: All right, good morning, good evening, good afternoon.
- 5:03SPEAKER_01: Where are you guys at?
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: Welcome to the Tech Hustle where I'll give you guys the latest in gadgets and pre-orders and the good stuff.
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: So, first thing up, we have Stream Fame VR's headset by Valve.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: What Valve is gonna be our lovely, lovely headset streaming face uh coming in in two versions.
- 5:27SPEAKER_01: Uh Stream Fame with a 256 and then at$1,059.
- 5:33SPEAKER_01: And then if you want the one terabyte, you're looking at almost$1,300.
- 5:37SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 5:38SPEAKER_01: These beautiful gadgets are pre-order right now using your lottery style system.
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: So right now, close uh September 17 at 10 a.m.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: Pacific time, which buyers can randomly sort their either pre-orders list or wait list.
- 5:55SPEAKER_01: First invites go up September 18th.
- 5:59SPEAKER_01: Interesting, interesting beautiful gadget.
- 6:02SPEAKER_01: Here is a gaming while supporting standalone play.
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: This kit includes a headset, stream fame controller, which features a split gamepad layout and also standalone verify program, which players can check while titles are on the libraries, both VR and non-VR will run in standalone mode.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: This is currently listed for Cuphead Heads made, Portal 2, Baltrow, Hollow Knight, Skill Songs, and more.
- 6:36SPEAKER_03: I mean, it looks like the Oculus, bro.
- 6:38SPEAKER_03: It does.
- 6:38SPEAKER_03: It looks like it's uh a new competitor for the Oculus or or what do we get the Apple Apple Vision Pro?
- 6:44SPEAKER_03: A little bit different than Apple Vision Bro because it looks like it's you're playing video games straight off of so it does look like the Oculus.
- 6:50SPEAKER_01: The only thing difference is is still the same concept, still has the headset on, but you have like a remote control in your hand.
- 6:57SPEAKER_01: Oculus has these two little gadgets, one on the left, one on the right.
- 7:01SPEAKER_01: This is more like a PlayStation Xbox controller.
- 7:05SPEAKER_01: Uh um Vision Pro only has just the headset, if I'm not mistaken.
- 7:09SPEAKER_01: Ah, okay, okay.
- 7:10SPEAKER_01: So they have something else.
- 7:13SPEAKER_03: But it's also not like uh like the Oculus where it's like just the two fingers, but you actually can have a gaming controller with it.
- 7:20SPEAKER_01: But the Oculus does have those two controllers.
- 7:23SPEAKER_01: This has the same thing here, has a controller on the left, controller, right, and comes with a PlayStation controller also.
- 7:29SPEAKER_01: Oh not a PlayStation controller, but you guys know what it's like.
- 7:32SPEAKER_01: The same style.
- 7:33SPEAKER_03: I'm I'm wondering if they're competing with like uh you don't have to buy a TV no more.
- 7:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's basically what it is.
- 7:39SPEAKER_01: Ah, okay.
- 7:40SPEAKER_01: As you can see, the the uh on the video or on the picture, it has that nice pad in the back.
- 7:46SPEAKER_01: So I'm assuming people are just laying down, laying their heads back, and you can go ahead and um have a full experience.
- 7:53SPEAKER_01: Full experience.
- 7:54SPEAKER_01: Which I think that's what's like you said, I don't think everybody's gonna be using TV anymore.
- 7:58SPEAKER_01: It's gonna be mostly streaming through that.
- 8:00SPEAKER_01: Which is it's not bad, but it is what it is.
- 8:03SPEAKER_03: You think your son will get it?
- 8:05SPEAKER_03: Or would want it?
- 8:06SPEAKER_01: Uh nah, I don't think so.
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: I mean, if he does, he hasn't mentioned it to me, and I doubt he's gonna get it unless I buy it.
- 8:12SPEAKER_01: But other than that, yeah, yeah, I doubt it.
- 8:15SPEAKER_03: Well, and if you got uh 13, you said for the terabyte one?
- 8:18SPEAKER_03: 1300.
- 8:19SPEAKER_03: For the terabyte one.
- 8:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 8:20SPEAKER_03: Well, it's it's an option.
- 8:21SPEAKER_03: It's an option.
- 8:22SPEAKER_03: All right, play, what else you got on your list?
- 8:24SPEAKER_01: And next but not least, it's um uh it's not even a topic.
- 8:29SPEAKER_01: It's more of uh Apple.
- 8:32SPEAKER_01: I'm talking about Apple now.
- 8:33SPEAKER_01: So uh like I've been mentioning before, ladies and gentlemen, I've been saying that there is gonna be a new foldable phone for Apple.
- 8:39SPEAKER_01: Yes, after this the new release on September, I think it was September 10th, if not mistaken.
- 8:45SPEAKER_01: Apple just released and said that they are having the new iPhone duel.
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: The duo is coming out.
- 8:52SPEAKER_01: You're looking at almost three stacks, almost three thousand dollars for it?
- 8:57SPEAKER_01: Three thousand.
- 8:58SPEAKER_01: Well, twenty one hundred two, almost three thousand dollars.
- 9:02SPEAKER_01: Um I just want to know your guys' thoughts on it.
- 9:05SPEAKER_03: Um, so big shout outs to uh my guy uh Marquise Brown.
- 9:09SPEAKER_03: You have you ever seen him on um YouTube?
- 9:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah, uh he's definitely uh uh um somebody I follow along, especially when they have new gadgets come on.
- 9:17SPEAKER_03: Um and I seen the the foldable device.
- 9:20SPEAKER_03: Um I don't know, it wasn't doing it for me.
- 9:23SPEAKER_03: Um I did like the concept of like when they folded it open, it almost like had like a mirror-y type look when you go from one screen to the next.
- 9:32SPEAKER_03: But if you like just look at the phone, I I don't know.
- 9:36SPEAKER_03: I don't know, not for no$2,000.
- 9:39SPEAKER_03: Um, and it's not like one of those groundbreaking new innovation that makes you want to go trade in my phone for another one.
- 9:46SPEAKER_03: So um I gotta see how everybody else uses it.
- 9:48SPEAKER_03: I'm hoping that they could send it, send one to the show here, and then D can give y'all um a good review on it, but nah, I don't know.
- 9:55SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 9:56SPEAKER_03: What do you thought, Raymond?
- 9:57SPEAKER_02: Oh, I like it.
- 9:58SPEAKER_02: I think it's fire.
- 9:59SPEAKER_02: I mean, I'm not gonna jump.
- 10:00SPEAKER_02: I mean, you're an Apple fan boy.
- 10:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I wouldn't say that.
- 10:05SPEAKER_02: Nah, I think it's fire.
- 10:06SPEAKER_02: I love how like you can just hold it like the regular phone and then you flip it open.
- 10:10SPEAKER_02: Like, I think it's fire, man.
- 10:12SPEAKER_02: And yeah, I hope they come out with the case like from back in the days.
- 10:15SPEAKER_02: Oh, you're trying to get like the old Blackberry.
- 10:17SPEAKER_02: Old Blackberry, like I cannot wait to these case companies figure out how they're gonna make a case for this thing.
- 10:22SPEAKER_02: Oh my god.
- 10:23SPEAKER_02: But nah, for the most part, like I think it's fire, bro.
- 10:26SPEAKER_02: I want it.
- 10:26SPEAKER_03: You you're gonna you want you you well, you just gotta upgrade, so yeah.
- 10:29SPEAKER_02: I mean, I'm not saying I'm gonna upgrade day one, like, because I just got a phone last year, but I want one.
- 10:35SPEAKER_03: So I think it's fire.
- 10:36SPEAKER_01: So why don't you get a Samsung one?
- 10:39SPEAKER_03: The Samsung one, that's the thing that Marquise had.
- 10:41SPEAKER_03: He had another Samsung one that looked just like it, and they've been out on the market for a minute with with better features than this newer iPhone that just came out.
- 10:49SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 10:50SPEAKER_03: I mean, I hear you.
- 10:52SPEAKER_02: I mean, I just I've never seen that's the Apple Fan Waver Samsung.
- 10:55SPEAKER_02: Oh god, just haven't ever seen anyone in the wild or the open with that Samsung.
- 11:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 11:01SPEAKER_02: But I guarantee you you'll see everybody with this.
- 11:03SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 11:04SPEAKER_03: There's people already ready to go and order.
- 11:06SPEAKER_03: They haven't shipped them yet, right?
- 11:07SPEAKER_03: You can just pre-order.
- 11:08SPEAKER_02: Just pre-order them.
- 11:09SPEAKER_02: Um but um, but yeah, no, I thought, you know, I thought the CEO was cool, he came out, it wasn't too cheesy.
- 11:14SPEAKER_02: I love how they had iShow Speed out there doing the backflip and all that.
- 11:19SPEAKER_02: It was cool, man.
- 11:20SPEAKER_02: I liked it.
- 11:20SPEAKER_02: I I loved, I liked everything about it.
- 11:22SPEAKER_02: So I mean, all right.
- 11:24SPEAKER_03: So D, you you reported it.
- 11:26SPEAKER_03: So what do you think, bro?
- 11:28SPEAKER_01: Um first of all, I want to congratulate whoever's at Apple finally fucking bringing out something new.
- 11:43SPEAKER_01: But then I have to give you because the iPhone 18 is back out and was the same fucking concept, same uh triangular, not rectangular fucking phone.
- 11:53SPEAKER_01: It's just now uh sky blue, I think it is, and then a maroon color.
- 11:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 11:58SPEAKER_01: Oh, they also had a matte black.
- 12:00SPEAKER_01: A matte, wow, that's always the the same normal the normal colors.
- 12:05SPEAKER_01: But this thing here is it's next thing you know, you guys bringing out razor phones and and uh this reminds me of personally the way it looks, it reminds me of the T-Mobile sidekick.
- 12:20SPEAKER_01: That's what I'm saying.
- 12:21SPEAKER_01: Yes, like yeah, they they had a nice pouch with a sidekick, too.
- 12:24SPEAKER_03: I didn't have a sidekick.
- 12:25SPEAKER_03: You had a sidekick, Raymond?
- 12:26SPEAKER_03: Uh I did have a sidekick.
- 12:27SPEAKER_03: You had you had a sidekick?
- 12:28SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I remember I think I met you with the sidekick.
- 12:30SPEAKER_03: Or you had the Nokia one, the flip.
- 12:32SPEAKER_02: It's giving those vibes.
- 12:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 12:34SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 12:37SPEAKER_03: Um, I gotta see the person.
- 12:38SPEAKER_03: Um did you used to hold a sidekick up on your head to talk on the phone?
- 12:43SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 12:43SPEAKER_03: How do you feel about this phone?
- 12:44SPEAKER_01: Do you think it's like it's it's more squary.
- 12:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 12:49SPEAKER_01: Uh the other one was more like uh an oval.
- 12:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 12:54SPEAKER_01: You can just flip it and then come around.
- 12:56SPEAKER_01: But again, this is coming, this is coming off to me more of shout out to uh Google slash Samsung.
- 13:06SPEAKER_01: Because that's this is their idea.
- 13:08SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 13:08SPEAKER_01: At the end of the day, I don't know if you guys know Google made this uh over here.
- 13:13SPEAKER_01: Apple decided to uh take a bite out of crime.
- 13:16SPEAKER_01: Google, not Google, Samsung's making money on the back end.
- 13:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 13:20SPEAKER_01: Um of course that's why the price is extremely high.
- 13:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:25SPEAKER_01: Um again.
- 13:27SPEAKER_01: I it it seems cool.
- 13:29SPEAKER_01: I I'm just happy that they got out of their you know, the little circle.
- 13:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 13:34SPEAKER_03: And and the normal normalness of the phone.
- 13:37SPEAKER_03: And even with the announcements of the 18, like you say, there wasn't really nothing that jumped out at all.
- 13:42SPEAKER_03: Um they even came out with a new watch too, right?
- 13:48SPEAKER_02: Okay, so you brought up the AirPods and all that.
- 13:50SPEAKER_02: Well, are we not excited about some of the other stuff?
- 13:52SPEAKER_02: Come on, the AirPods got cameras in them now.
- 13:54SPEAKER_02: What do you mean the AirPods got cameras?
- 13:56SPEAKER_02: I didn't have you looking at it.
- 13:57SPEAKER_02: I thought I saw they said the one of the AirPods is gonna have some type of camera in it now or something.
- 14:02SPEAKER_03: Um I might have missed that then.
- 14:04SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 14:05SPEAKER_03: I don't know what it needs a camera for.
- 14:07SPEAKER_02: I don't know either, but there's actually uproar about it saying, like, there's you know, why are they having a camera in the AirPods?
- 14:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 14:14SPEAKER_02: So and then the watch, too, it's gonna have live rewind.
- 14:18SPEAKER_02: So let's just say you get in an argument with your girl.
- 14:20SPEAKER_02: Hey, I didn't say that.
- 14:21SPEAKER_02: There's some kind of live rewind where it's actually always listening.
- 14:24SPEAKER_02: So it's oh yeah, I heard about that always listening.
- 14:26SPEAKER_02: Listen to rewind like 45 seconds or something.
- 14:28SPEAKER_02: That's freaking fire.
- 14:30SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 14:30SPEAKER_03: So I mean I mean, Raymond, you you you gotta kind of to catch 20s too, because you you don't like everything's listening, but then you like this feature that iPhone comes out that is always listening.
- 14:40SPEAKER_03: I mean, for that situation like that, I didn't say that.
- 14:43SPEAKER_01: For the red flag or the yellow flag.
- 14:45SPEAKER_01: So we're just gonna say Dave.
- 14:46SPEAKER_01: First of all, shout out to Raymond who's listening to the podcast because that's what I mentioned before in one of my uh TED Talks that they are gonna bring one out, but it has not come out yet, Raymond.
- 14:58SPEAKER_01: Again.
- 14:59SPEAKER_01: Future foresight.
- 15:00SPEAKER_01: Okay, exactly.
- 15:01SPEAKER_01: Uh number two, what else have they brought up?
- 15:05SPEAKER_01: That's true.
- 15:06SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 15:06SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 15:07SPEAKER_03: Well, we got a new watch coming out.
- 15:08SPEAKER_03: The the watch with the automatic always listening.
- 15:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah, the rewind.
- 15:11SPEAKER_03: But I had showed you remember that Omi um uh chat GPT device that I had, it was like a necklace type thing, and y'all were like, oh hell no, don't do that.
- 15:19SPEAKER_03: That's the same thing that they're doing with the watch now.
- 15:21SPEAKER_03: If they're always listening.
- 15:23SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 15:23SPEAKER_03: Yeah?
- 15:24SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 15:25SPEAKER_03: That's just Apple.
- 15:26SPEAKER_03: Apple produces it, so he's good to go.
- 15:29SPEAKER_03: Do you know what I was expecting them maybe to come out with?
- 15:31SPEAKER_03: Is a glasses.
- 15:32SPEAKER_03: I thought they were gonna go I'm waiting for that.
- 15:34SPEAKER_03: I thought they were gonna come out with a glasses, like, oh, there's just this one last thing or like a big surprise.
- 15:39SPEAKER_03: I know the the flip phone is like uh the front of the the the line, but I thought they were gonna come out with something like that.
- 15:45SPEAKER_03: Got it.
- 15:46SPEAKER_03: Yeah, okay.
- 15:47SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's looking to me the flip phone, it's looking more like a a small tablet.
- 15:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, for sure.
- 15:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you close it, it's a it's a small tablet.
- 15:58SPEAKER_01: But hey.
- 15:59SPEAKER_01: But it is what it is.
- 16:02SPEAKER_02: If you break one of those screens, is your phone completely done?
- 16:05SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 16:06SPEAKER_01: Is that true?
- 16:07SPEAKER_01: Uh it has to be.
- 16:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 16:08SPEAKER_01: It has to be.
- 16:09SPEAKER_01: You're done.
- 16:09SPEAKER_01: Well, what are you gonna do?
- 16:10SPEAKER_01: You can't fix it.
- 16:11SPEAKER_01: No, but I'm saying it's a phone still operable.
- 16:14SPEAKER_02: Like, as in, you know.
- 16:16SPEAKER_03: Like if you crack one of the screens on the inside, does the outside screen still work?
- 16:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah, can you still use the phone or something like that?
- 16:22SPEAKER_03: But buy it and let's know.
- 16:24SPEAKER_02: Sit down on it and let us know.
- 16:25SPEAKER_03: Okay, you know how many people's gonna buy it and then they're gonna do some drop test on it, or they're gonna try to, you know, starting.
- 16:30SPEAKER_01: Well, hopefully, you guys get in the warranty.
- 16:32SPEAKER_01: Yeah, facts.
- 16:33SPEAKER_01: Uh, with something like this.
- 16:34SPEAKER_01: Number two, um, how many people are gonna put it in the back pocket and sit down on it?
- 16:38SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 16:39SPEAKER_01: And I, if it's cracked, is it crackable?
- 16:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, uh, is it sit down test?
- 16:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah, these are a lot of questions.
- 16:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, nobody's answering my questions.
- 16:49SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 16:49SPEAKER_03: Well, we'll we'll definitely be watching along, and I know we'll you they might get another few uh uh uh from um from D as it's do it right now because they ain't doing anything else.
- 17:00SPEAKER_03: Oh man.
- 17:01SPEAKER_03: Well, as always, we appreciate the new techie talks and new things on these streets.
- 17:05SPEAKER_03: Uh, if you do, especially if you work at Apple or you got access to Apple's um demo team or sending out, you know, looking for reviews, my guy D Hustle is here, ready to go.
- 17:16SPEAKER_03: We'll publish on our newsletter, we'll talk about here on the top podcast.
- 17:19SPEAKER_03: Uh, definitely let us know if y'all are looking for some insights.
- 17:21SPEAKER_03: But uh, next up, we got my guy Raymond.
- 17:24SPEAKER_03: Don't call him Ray Ray.
- 17:25SPEAKER_03: What's up, Playboy?
- 17:26SPEAKER_03: What's up, gentlemen?
- 17:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 17:27SPEAKER_03: How's everything going with you, man?
- 17:28SPEAKER_02: It's going, it's going.
- 17:30SPEAKER_02: Happy Tuesday.
- 17:31SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 17:31SPEAKER_02: So I want to have a light conversation with you guys because you know my conversations are very light, and we always get into very good, healthy, fun debates here.
- 17:39SPEAKER_02: Uh-huh.
- 17:40SPEAKER_02: So um, you know, there's some controversy going on with this comedian.
- 17:44SPEAKER_02: I love this guy.
- 17:45SPEAKER_02: If you want to call him a comedian, stand-up or whatever.
- 17:48SPEAKER_02: I know D Hustle likes like Dorachi comedy and stuff like that.
- 17:53SPEAKER_02: I do too, but I don't know, man.
- 17:55SPEAKER_02: It's like some people are saying that this guy went too far with his latest skit.
- 17:59SPEAKER_02: And who I'm talking about here is Drewski.
- 18:02SPEAKER_02: It's been two weeks now.
- 18:03SPEAKER_02: We're in football season.
- 18:04SPEAKER_02: I don't know if you guys have seen his latest skit, the CTE skit.
- 18:08SPEAKER_02: Have you guys seen this?
- 18:09SPEAKER_03: Yes, the one that he he he he's talking about.
- 18:12SPEAKER_03: You uh what's the injury that um footballers?
- 18:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah, what is it called?
- 18:16SPEAKER_03: CTE.
- 18:16SPEAKER_03: But it there's another, isn't there a way to describe it in another way?
- 18:20SPEAKER_02: Like uh, oh yeah, you're right.
- 18:21SPEAKER_02: I can't think of it.
- 18:22SPEAKER_03: Um concussion?
- 18:24SPEAKER_02: Like a concussion.
- 18:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 18:25SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 18:26SPEAKER_02: So, but um, but yeah, so I don't know if you've seen it.
- 18:29SPEAKER_02: And I don't know, I'm starting to agree with some of the the masses that uh I don't know, Bobby.
- 18:34SPEAKER_02: I think he went too far.
- 18:35SPEAKER_03: You think he went too far on that skit?
- 18:36SPEAKER_02: This is pretty bad.
- 18:38SPEAKER_02: So tell me what the party went too far.
- 18:40SPEAKER_02: Come on.
- 18:40SPEAKER_02: I mean, I don't know.
- 18:42SPEAKER_02: First of all, uh D.
- 18:43SPEAKER_02: Hustle, have you seen it?
- 18:44SPEAKER_01: I'm looking at it right now when you can get to him and then come back to me.
- 18:49SPEAKER_02: I mean, some of the reactments what he's doing, and specifically making fun of our football, former football quarterback, the Dolphins.
- 18:57SPEAKER_01: Oh, that's the problem.
- 18:58SPEAKER_01: I'm not saying that's one of them.
- 19:00SPEAKER_02: That's like that's come on.
- 19:02SPEAKER_02: That's not only that, uh-huh, the press conference making fun of the guy who beat his wife, uh-huh, you know, things of that nature.
- 19:10SPEAKER_02: I mean, running away from law enforcement.
- 19:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that car chase was fire.
- 19:14SPEAKER_03: Like I actually heard that it was real.
- 19:16SPEAKER_03: This is like he actually really did that and set up that whole scene.
- 19:20SPEAKER_02: It's uh I mean, some of the stuff in there is a bit much, man.
- 19:23SPEAKER_02: Like what about his abs?
- 19:24SPEAKER_02: Did you see that?
- 19:26SPEAKER_02: I mean, I gotta agree with the internet.
- 19:29SPEAKER_02: He he's gone too far.
- 19:30SPEAKER_02: Like he goes too far, but this one might be it.
- 19:33SPEAKER_02: Like, I'm usually on his side, uh-huh, but I don't know, man.
- 19:36SPEAKER_02: Like some of the stuff in this skit is a bit much, bro.
- 19:39SPEAKER_03: I don't I don't think it was much.
- 19:40SPEAKER_03: I think it well, first off, being a comedian, um, they kind of get a pass for a lot of things, right?
- 19:46SPEAKER_03: They they they definitely can push us in conversation all the way to the edge.
- 19:51SPEAKER_03: Like the underlying thing he's talking about is the concussion, right?
- 19:56SPEAKER_03: It's like the long-term effect that has been.
- 20:01SPEAKER_02: Even there's a former football player threatening to kill him because of the skit.
- 20:06SPEAKER_02: I don't think it's that bad, bro.
- 20:08SPEAKER_02: Okay, Antonio Brown.
- 20:09SPEAKER_02: You know Antonio Brown is.
- 20:10SPEAKER_02: Of course I know Antonio O'Brien.
- 20:11SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna kick his ass when I see him.
- 20:12SPEAKER_03: I mean, yeah, he can go catch hands, but that's that doesn't mean that the skit wasn't funny, and the underlining thing he's talking about being concussion is what he's bringing to light.
- 20:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah, bro, like I don't know, man.
- 20:23SPEAKER_02: Like, I'm usually with him, like, you know, making fun of that lady, Charlie Kirk's wife, and then you're gonna stuff, you know, but this is like, come on, man.
- 20:34SPEAKER_03: As soon as he starts talking about athletes that you have on your fantasy football, that's not that's you get a little more emotional.
- 20:41SPEAKER_02: No, I'm not saying that.
- 20:43SPEAKER_02: It's other people kind of saying outrage, like he went too far and stuff like that.
- 20:46SPEAKER_02: ESPN, Steven A, like it's like I mean, but but do you think he's really calling out something though?
- 20:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah, but I don't know.
- 20:55SPEAKER_03: I mean he's he's really talking about the effects of concussions, right?
- 20:59SPEAKER_03: Behavioral challenges, uh, and even with the tackle, like when you get when you get tackled like that, you get knocked out like that.
- 21:07SPEAKER_03: You don't get stuff like stiff like that the whole time.
- 21:11SPEAKER_03: Like that's crazy.
- 21:13SPEAKER_03: They're wheeling him out and he's still stiff like that.
- 21:16SPEAKER_03: And then his abs are poking out, which I don't really understand how he got abs like that.
- 21:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 21:21SPEAKER_03: Um it was funny, though.
- 21:23SPEAKER_02: Yeah, let's get the hustle stick.
- 21:24SPEAKER_02: I think he just came to the skit here.
- 21:25SPEAKER_02: Did he go too far?
- 21:26SPEAKER_02: You don't want to know my shit.
- 21:28SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 21:30SPEAKER_01: Um just by looking at it, I didn't get a chance to hear.
- 21:33SPEAKER_01: I just need to hear, but just seeing the stuff, I see a lot of lot of uh uh this shit is funny.
- 21:39SPEAKER_01: That's funny.
- 21:40SPEAKER_01: Uh it is hilarious.
- 21:41SPEAKER_01: First of all, number one, I'm glad that he's doing it.
- 21:44SPEAKER_01: Uh number two, I'm glad he's putting smiles on people's faces.
- 21:48SPEAKER_01: Uh number three, I am happy that he did it because it's it's showing it's showing that this is really happening in real life.
- 21:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's crazy.
- 21:58SPEAKER_01: You know, it's showing that real.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: At least are going through this situation.
- 22:03SPEAKER_01: Um, you know, doing through concussion, doing playing through a concussion, or or or saying, Hey, you know, I'm hurt, um, please evaluate me, and then saying, you know, you have an option.
- 22:16SPEAKER_01: The doctor says, Hey, you're not allowed to play in the next two weeks.
- 22:21SPEAKER_01: Players disregard the doctor's opinion and play the next day.
- 22:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:26SPEAKER_01: And then if they get hurt, they don't blame the doctor.
- 22:29SPEAKER_01: That's their fault.
- 22:30SPEAKER_01: So that's so something like that.
- 22:32SPEAKER_01: You gotta the the passion of the game, the the the ambition, the the motivation just to go out there and play.
- 22:39SPEAKER_01: It's it's it's showing what can really happen.
- 22:42SPEAKER_01: And then later on, you get you get these spasms, these the these things after we told you not to do it, but you still went ahead and did it.
- 22:51SPEAKER_01: And then it's showing you this is exactly what happens to you after, you know, you you you um not protocol at after you will dismiss a medical opinion.
- 23:05SPEAKER_01: You know, uh, it's it's it's real life shit.
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: I don't see nothing wrong with the skit except for except for um people who are hating like Raymond.
- 23:17SPEAKER_02: I'm just I'm I'm not hating, I'm saying he went a little far.
- 23:19SPEAKER_01: Like, how what how far do you think he went?
- 23:22SPEAKER_01: Like what what part I know he could have gone.
- 23:25SPEAKER_02: The running away, like the yelling at the woman, calling her the B word in there, and so don't don't they do that in real life?
- 23:33SPEAKER_02: Okay, the guy, remember the guy who beat up his wife in the elevator?
- 23:36SPEAKER_01: Like he's literally it was not Ray Lewis um Ray Price or whatever.
- 23:41SPEAKER_01: Ray Price didn't he do that in real life?
- 23:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I know, but there's some things you shouldn't like, you know.
- 23:46SPEAKER_01: But why?
- 23:48SPEAKER_03: And he's doing it in a comedic way.
- 23:50SPEAKER_03: Hey, it's not like he actually showed unfortunately.
- 23:53SPEAKER_01: It's just copying every what other person was doing.
- 23:56SPEAKER_01: Okay, like perfect example.
- 23:57SPEAKER_01: You got a Tesla.
- 23:58SPEAKER_01: Let me go get a Tesla.
- 24:00SPEAKER_01: Am I copying you now?
- 24:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, I hear you.
- 24:04SPEAKER_03: I mean, I I think he could have done worse in a skid.
- 24:08SPEAKER_03: Um, I think he still has more in him, yeah.
- 24:11SPEAKER_03: Um, and he's pushing the limits even further and further.
- 24:14SPEAKER_03: Um, but I still I still don't feel like he's crossed the line yet.
- 24:18SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 24:19SPEAKER_03: Do you feel better?
- 24:20SPEAKER_03: This is bad.
- 24:20SPEAKER_01: Do you feel better if Kevin Hart did it?
- 24:22SPEAKER_01: Uh no, I'm not sense not.
- 24:25SPEAKER_03: No, I didn't say that.
- 24:27SPEAKER_03: I'm just saying it's just I got even another comparison.
- 24:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 24:30SPEAKER_03: What if that was a Dave Chappelle skit?
- 24:32SPEAKER_03: Uh Dave Chappelle's done some crazy stuff.
- 24:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Dave Chappelle skits are pretty like even Dave Chappelle skits.
- 24:39SPEAKER_02: I tried watching one a couple weeks ago.
- 24:40SPEAKER_02: Somebody was outraged over the the racist one.
- 24:43SPEAKER_02: Remember, he's blind?
- 24:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 24:45SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I was watching it around some people and they were like, take that crap off.
- 24:47SPEAKER_02: They were offended by it.
- 24:49SPEAKER_02: Okay, okay, but that's what I'm saying.
- 24:50SPEAKER_03: Like, comedians have that ability to take it to that edge.
- 24:53SPEAKER_02: Chappelle can't do some of that stuff today.
- 24:54SPEAKER_03: You don't think so?
- 24:55SPEAKER_02: No, I don't think so.
- 24:56SPEAKER_02: I think he could.
- 24:57SPEAKER_02: There's a lot of stuff these comedians did back in the days.
- 24:59SPEAKER_02: You guys know.
- 24:59SPEAKER_03: I think Drewski is doing some of that similar stuff, right?
- 25:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he's kind of getting away with it because it's on the internet.
- 25:05SPEAKER_02: It's not on TV.
- 25:06SPEAKER_02: Like if it was on TV, he could not do this.
- 25:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 25:09SPEAKER_02: That's probably why he doesn't have a sh, you know what I mean?
- 25:11SPEAKER_02: Like a deal.
- 25:12SPEAKER_02: Who?
- 25:13SPEAKER_02: Drewski.
- 25:14SPEAKER_03: Oh.
- 25:14SPEAKER_03: I don't think he cares if he gets a deal.
- 25:16SPEAKER_03: I think he makes more money, not.
- 25:17SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 25:18SPEAKER_03: Plus, I also think, like you said, if a network, if he is working on a network, then he's gonna be censored even more.
- 25:23SPEAKER_03: Right, right.
- 25:23SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 25:24SPEAKER_03: So I'd rather him do it this way.
- 25:25SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 25:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 25:26SPEAKER_01: And it's not that bad, Raymond.
- 25:30SPEAKER_01: There's something there that that pissed Raymond.
- 25:35SPEAKER_01: Nothing in there is bad.
- 25:36SPEAKER_01: Something in the scary stuff.
- 25:41SPEAKER_02: That's what happened to her.
- 25:42SPEAKER_02: I know.
- 25:43SPEAKER_02: But then again, let's let's talk about the bad stuff too with football.
- 25:46SPEAKER_02: Remember when the guy from Buffalo, when he got hurt, got almost died, and they still played the game?
- 25:51SPEAKER_02: Like, it's just come on, man.
- 25:53SPEAKER_02: Like, really?
- 25:54SPEAKER_01: So you're gonna stop the game because the guy Okay, it's a game of gladness.
- 25:57SPEAKER_02: You guys think that was okay?
- 25:58SPEAKER_02: The guy freaking like his even his family was like, they didn't even do nothing or care.
- 26:03SPEAKER_02: They didn't call it.
- 26:04SPEAKER_01: So we're gonna stop a national game knowing that this is how people make millions of dollars of paychecks because somebody got hurt.
- 26:11SPEAKER_02: Okay, so you thought that was perfect perfectly fine that they wheeled this guy off, and hey guys, let's just go and they do that on a consistent basis.
- 26:19SPEAKER_02: That was one of the worst ones, guys.
- 26:21SPEAKER_01: So, perfect example when poor George got freaking his leg all on TV.
- 26:26SPEAKER_01: They didn't stop the game, they stopped it because they had to wheel them up, but they had to continue the game.
- 26:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 26:31SPEAKER_02: He didn't almost die like this guy from Buffalo did Hamlin, whatever he's doing.
- 26:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he's collapsed in the middle.
- 26:36SPEAKER_01: They had a moment of silence, everybody's there wishing everybody they were praying and all that.
- 26:41SPEAKER_01: Down set back to my normal beings.
- 26:44SPEAKER_01: I mean, like, what more do you want them to do?
- 26:46SPEAKER_02: Okay, all right.
- 26:47SPEAKER_02: I mean, so let's just say someone almost got shot.
- 26:50SPEAKER_02: Let's just, hey, let's go back in and play.
- 26:52SPEAKER_02: Well, they went basically all that.
- 26:54SPEAKER_01: When have they ever stopped the game?
- 26:56SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna put it for him real quick.
- 26:57SPEAKER_01: Let's make a sense.
- 26:59SPEAKER_01: Raymond, you're a football player, you're getting paid$250 million, right?
- 27:06SPEAKER_01: I'm a qu I'm a running back.
- 27:07SPEAKER_01: I'm getting paid$250 million.
- 27:10SPEAKER_01: Raymond, I mean, Bobby's a wide receiver getting paid$250 million.
- 27:16SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 27:18SPEAKER_01: Game hut.
- 27:19SPEAKER_01: You pass me the ball, I run, boom, I knock out.
- 27:24SPEAKER_01: But then you see my leg, my my uh my leg uh or whatever it is pop out.
- 27:30SPEAKER_01: I'm bleeding.
- 27:32SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 27:34SPEAKER_01: Stretcher comes, everybody takes me, boom, boom, boom.
- 27:39SPEAKER_01: You don't get paid that day if we stop the game.
- 27:43SPEAKER_01: You don't get paid that day today.
- 27:45SPEAKER_01: So you lose, let's say that game will cost you$350,000 just for that game.
- 27:51SPEAKER_01: Because you got hurt?
- 27:52SPEAKER_01: Because because I got hurt.
- 27:55SPEAKER_01: So what's gonna happen at the end of the day?
- 27:57SPEAKER_01: You're gonna be like, well, thanks a lot.
- 27:58SPEAKER_01: We couldn't uh you owe me$350 million.
- 28:01SPEAKER_01: Oh$350,000.
- 28:03SPEAKER_01: You're gonna be like, well, you owe me$350,000, or should we continue playing?
- 28:09SPEAKER_01: Are you gonna lose$350,000 because I I I got messed up?
- 28:13SPEAKER_01: Or be like, yo, let I hope hope you're doing okay.
- 28:15SPEAKER_01: I'll I'll holler at you once the game's done.
- 28:18SPEAKER_03: Facts.
- 28:18SPEAKER_02: That's crazy.
- 28:19SPEAKER_03: Facts.
- 28:20SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 28:20SPEAKER_03: I mean that that's the norm, right?
- 28:22SPEAKER_02: You don't you don't see it that way?
- 28:23SPEAKER_02: I mean, it's they can do a makeup game, D.
- 28:26SPEAKER_02: What do you mean do a makeup game?
- 28:28SPEAKER_02: You know the NBA has like postponed games when there's shootings and live events.
- 28:32SPEAKER_02: Uh-huh.
- 28:33SPEAKER_03: But hold on, hold on.
- 28:34SPEAKER_03: But but this is not uh uh uh outside of the the game situation.
- 28:38SPEAKER_03: There's no shooting.
- 28:39SPEAKER_03: You said that up to the player.
- 28:40SPEAKER_02: I'm just saying the the two organizations are different how they handle like catastrophes and stuff like that.
- 28:46SPEAKER_03: But a player getting injured is not a catastrophe.
- 28:49SPEAKER_02: Play almost died, Bobby, and they still like chuckled and let's just play the game afterwards.
- 28:53SPEAKER_03: All right, all right, let's play the scenario.
- 28:54SPEAKER_03: He gets hit, knocked out, wind, right?
- 28:56SPEAKER_03: He's like, all right, you you got him.
- 28:58SPEAKER_03: The the the paramedics and everybody comes off, take him off the field.
- 29:01SPEAKER_03: All right, y'all, let's get a knee, we we do a quick moment of silence, and at that point we should stop.
- 29:08SPEAKER_03: Or we did our we did our piece and say, hey, we hope everything is good, neoscience.
- 29:12SPEAKER_03: We check up on him after the game.
- 29:14SPEAKER_03: Like that's the thing, it's like we we didn't know that he almost died.
- 29:18SPEAKER_03: Like, I'm ready for the next play.
- 29:19SPEAKER_03: Yo, coach, what we got coming up?
- 29:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we got five yards off of that.
- 29:23SPEAKER_02: Crazy.
- 29:24SPEAKER_02: Crazy.
- 29:25SPEAKER_02: Like, how can you low play after that seeing your teammate almost just died?
- 29:29SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna put this in a different point of perspective for you, Raymond.
- 29:32SPEAKER_01: And then you can see where I'm coming from.
- 29:34SPEAKER_01: All right, perfect example.
- 29:36SPEAKER_01: Let's say, all right, you're a$250, million dollar man.
- 29:43SPEAKER_01: You sign a contract, knowing what can happen to you.
- 29:51SPEAKER_01: Will you take the$250 million contract, or will you stop, or you won't take it and look for a regular job?
- 29:58SPEAKER_01: Because you can get a concussion, you can get a PSD, or whatever the case may be, you can get whatever, you know, your leg can be dislocated, you can be doomed, you can be that boom.
- 30:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's I mean, that's one of the risks that you take.
- 30:12SPEAKER_01: Alright, I'm glad you said that.
- 30:13SPEAKER_01: The guy who got hurt from Buffalo, what's his name again?
- 30:18SPEAKER_01: That for guys.
- 30:19SPEAKER_01: Why did he come back?
- 30:21SPEAKER_03: He came back?
- 30:22SPEAKER_03: He came back to play.
- 30:24SPEAKER_03: Not the same day.
- 30:25SPEAKER_03: No, not the same day.
- 30:26SPEAKER_03: The following year.
- 30:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah, the following yeah, I mean he came back because he he won that money on the table.
- 30:31SPEAKER_03: The contract.
- 30:32SPEAKER_03: I mean, technically the contract might have fine print that hey, if somebody gets injured, you still gotta play.
- 30:36SPEAKER_01: And then perfect example.
- 30:38SPEAKER_01: You same thing happened to uh Alex Smith.
- 30:41SPEAKER_01: You remember Alex Smith from Kansas City?
- 30:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I remember you got hurt.
- 30:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, guess who stepped up?
- 30:47SPEAKER_01: Patrick Mahomes took his position.
- 30:49SPEAKER_01: What is Alex Smith now?
- 30:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he's on ESPN now, isn't he?
- 30:55SPEAKER_01: It's no you gotta keep going, bro.
- 30:57SPEAKER_01: You don't know if you're gonna come back after injury.
- 30:59SPEAKER_01: Nobody usually comes back after injury like really severe, something crazy like that.
- 31:03SPEAKER_01: But it's all the love of the sport, love of the game, something that LeBron fans don't know.
- 31:07SPEAKER_01: Oh it happens that way.
- 31:09SPEAKER_03: It really happens, and you got to the root of it.
- 31:14SPEAKER_02: There it is.
- 31:16SPEAKER_03: Now I got now I understand.
- 31:19SPEAKER_02: This is supposed to be a light conversation.
- 31:21SPEAKER_02: It is like you're just what else you got on your list for the next one.
- 31:25SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna make this fast here.
- 31:26SPEAKER_02: So I know uh hold on.
- 31:28SPEAKER_03: If D Hustle passes out during the podcast, we're shutting the whole thing down.
- 31:33SPEAKER_02: I won't be able to like continue with the uh nuggets.
- 31:36SPEAKER_02: Oh shit.
- 31:37SPEAKER_02: What's up, player?
- 31:41SPEAKER_02: I'll come on, bro.
- 31:42SPEAKER_02: All right, so I know uh D Hustle, Bobby, you guys and myself are all into our health steps, doing our steps, Bobby.
- 31:49SPEAKER_02: You go walking like a maniac.
- 31:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 31:51SPEAKER_02: I broke my record last weekend.
- 31:53SPEAKER_02: I walked 8.1 miles last Saturday.
- 31:55SPEAKER_02: Congratulations.
- 31:58SPEAKER_02: True story, I walked over to Bobby's community from my front door.
- 32:01SPEAKER_01: You did, or you had the dog put you put the dog in.
- 32:04SPEAKER_02: I walked from his from my front door to his community.
- 32:06SPEAKER_02: Four miles away.
- 32:07SPEAKER_02: Uh four and a half miles, and I sat at the water fountain for 10 minutes, drinking Gatorade, and walked back.
- 32:12SPEAKER_02: Did you visit Bobby?
- 32:13SPEAKER_02: He didn't even come knocking the door.
- 32:14SPEAKER_02: Kind of shit is that?
- 32:15SPEAKER_02: It's too early in the morning.
- 32:16SPEAKER_02: I know his ass likes to sleep in.
- 32:17SPEAKER_02: Damn, bro.
- 32:18SPEAKER_02: Now you put it on me.
- 32:19SPEAKER_02: But yeah, so what if I told you guys that you can make money off of your steps?
- 32:24SPEAKER_02: There's an app that's going viral here.
- 32:26SPEAKER_02: It's called Steppa, that you can literally gamble and bet on how many steps that you do a day.
- 32:31SPEAKER_02: They have different challenges, and one of them right now is up to 100K on if you can do 10,000 steps a day for a certain amount of period of time.
- 32:39SPEAKER_02: They have several different challenges.
- 32:40SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 32:41SPEAKER_02: It's called the Steppa app.
- 32:42SPEAKER_02: It's um we're not promoting any gambling here or anything like that, but it's called Steppa.
- 32:46SPEAKER_02: You literally can gamble and pick different challenges and make money off of the steps that you would you call it gambling, or would you say more gamifying steps?
- 32:55SPEAKER_03: Because gambling to me says, Oh, I bet that Raymond ain't gonna make 10 steps and then I get money off of it.
- 33:01SPEAKER_03: Can you do that?
- 33:01SPEAKER_02: Or are you just saying it's different challenges like, hey, can you do 10k steps for like four days in a row?
- 33:06SPEAKER_03: Ah, okay.
- 33:07SPEAKER_02: And it's this amount of money.
- 33:08SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 33:08SPEAKER_02: And then the longer periods you do it, the more money it is.
- 33:12SPEAKER_02: So you put money in just like you're gambling with football.
- 33:15SPEAKER_02: That's what this is.
- 33:16SPEAKER_03: I'm I'm trying to understand what their hustle is.
- 33:18SPEAKER_02: The hustle is that you put your money in and you can't do these 10,000 steps for four days in a row.
- 33:24SPEAKER_03: So But what are they getting from me?
- 33:26SPEAKER_02: They're getting your money, like you gotta put money in.
- 33:29SPEAKER_03: Oh, you actually have to put money in too for the bet.
- 33:31SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 33:32SPEAKER_03: And if you don't keep up the bet, they keep your money.
- 33:34SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 33:34SPEAKER_03: Or if you do succeed in the bet, then they pay you out.
- 33:36SPEAKER_03: Correct.
- 33:37SPEAKER_03: Pay out what?
- 33:38SPEAKER_03: They pay out the precise.
- 33:39SPEAKER_02: The challenges are like you gotta do 10k steps for like a week.
- 33:43SPEAKER_01: So like just to make sure I'm on the same page.
- 33:45SPEAKER_01: Let's say I gotta do 10k per week and I put in a hundred dollars.
- 33:48SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 33:49SPEAKER_01: If I don't make 10 steps per week, they keep my hundred dollars.
- 33:53SPEAKER_01: Correct.
- 33:53SPEAKER_01: If I do the 10 steps per week, I what I get my$100 back.
- 33:57SPEAKER_02: You get you$100, you gotta look at the challenge though, but you gotta look at the thing.
- 34:00SPEAKER_02: Oh, they're gonna give me more.
- 34:01SPEAKER_01: They give you a hundred plus.
- 34:04SPEAKER_02: There's different challenges you can do.
- 34:06SPEAKER_02: There's several of them.
- 34:07SPEAKER_02: You could do 10k steps for five days, you can do it for 10 weeks or whatever.
- 34:11SPEAKER_02: But I'm trying to understand the payout that we pay out is the pair.
- 34:14SPEAKER_02: There's several different ones.
- 34:15SPEAKER_02: There's ones for$100, there's ones for$200.
- 34:17SPEAKER_02: Obviously, the more challenging it is, the bigger the pot is.
- 34:21SPEAKER_02: So you go in and you look at the different pots and different challenges they have, but you got to put the money in.
- 34:26SPEAKER_02: Gotcha.
- 34:26SPEAKER_02: Just like you bet on sports, you gotta put the money in, and hey, I I picked these four teams to do this.
- 34:31SPEAKER_02: The same thing with this.
- 34:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 34:33SPEAKER_02: So, and mind you, it's other people in the challenge too.
- 34:36SPEAKER_03: That are competing against you?
- 34:38SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 34:38SPEAKER_03: Oh, is it who gets there first?
- 34:40SPEAKER_02: It's whoever is in it.
- 34:42SPEAKER_02: You split the pot.
- 34:44SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 34:44SPEAKER_03: So interesting.
- 34:46SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 34:46SPEAKER_03: But there are gonna be some people that that be like, hey, I sign up for it, but they can't keep up.
- 34:50SPEAKER_02: Correct.
- 34:51SPEAKER_02: So how many people you know can do 10,000 steps a day, let alone do it for like a week or whatever.
- 34:57SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 34:57SPEAKER_02: It's not easy.
- 34:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 34:58SPEAKER_03: So I mean, I think it has a a cool incentive behind it, especially if you put money up on it.
- 35:03SPEAKER_03: But it is gambling.
- 35:05SPEAKER_03: Um now I see where you you're considering it more gambling on the gambling side.
- 35:09SPEAKER_03: So um, but it's based on my effort, it's not based on some cards or that's correct.
- 35:13SPEAKER_02: It's not it's not based on chance or skill.
- 35:16SPEAKER_02: It's literally you can you do these steps?
- 35:18SPEAKER_02: Can you commit to the habit itself?
- 35:20SPEAKER_02: Can you, yes.
- 35:21SPEAKER_02: So, but yeah, I thought that was interesting.
- 35:23SPEAKER_02: Are you thinking about signing up for it?
- 35:24SPEAKER_02: I signed up for it.
- 35:24SPEAKER_02: I just haven't like gone and done a challenge or whatever.
- 35:27SPEAKER_02: But like, I'm like, geez.
- 35:28SPEAKER_03: You queuing it up?
- 35:29SPEAKER_03: I'm like, I could do some of these because that's when you walk to the crib and you're like, oh, I can go get a phone.
- 35:33SPEAKER_02: Oh, he's like, damn, because that walk into your house, that was 18,000 steps.
- 35:36SPEAKER_02: 18,000 steps?
- 35:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 35:37SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 35:37SPEAKER_02: So and they have different challenges, so yeah.
- 35:40SPEAKER_02: Interesting.
- 35:41SPEAKER_02: Not promoting nothing here at the tech host, but just saying so.
- 35:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we're always promoting something.
- 35:45SPEAKER_03: Well, you know.
- 35:46SPEAKER_03: Well, what is the site called again?
- 35:47SPEAKER_02: It's called Stepa.
- 35:48SPEAKER_03: It's an app.
- 35:48SPEAKER_03: Step a if you do want to be sponsored here on the podcast and Raymond's ready to accept your challenge, hit us up.
- 35:55SPEAKER_03: My guy's ready to go.
- 35:56SPEAKER_03: Uh, it could be sponsored by Steppa, so holla at us.
- 36:00SPEAKER_02: So, yeah, sounds like D is gonna jump right in here.
- 36:03SPEAKER_02: Nah, alright.
- 36:03SPEAKER_02: No, no, you good.
- 36:05SPEAKER_03: D's on the on the treadmill.
- 36:06SPEAKER_03: You've been on the treadmill lately, right?
- 36:08SPEAKER_03: Yay!
- 36:08SPEAKER_02: Make your money off a trick, turn the app on and download that and pick a challenge.
- 36:12SPEAKER_01: You're getting money regardless.
- 36:13SPEAKER_01: Uh every time I I do uh uh 5,000 steps, uh Dick Sporting gives me Oh yeah, you reported that once before.
- 36:23SPEAKER_03: I remember you had that uh Dick Sporting's good gives you points for that.
- 36:26SPEAKER_03: Have you ever redeemed any of that yet?
- 36:27SPEAKER_03: Not yet.
- 36:28SPEAKER_03: I'm I'm accumulating.
- 36:31SPEAKER_03: He's like, I'm I want them.
- 36:32SPEAKER_03: You can't do nothing with five dollars.
- 36:34SPEAKER_03: I need more.
- 36:36SPEAKER_03: That's funny.
- 36:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you need to add uh add it to your list so you know what you're trying to get, though.
- 36:40SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 36:40SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 36:41SPEAKER_03: All right, my guy.
- 36:42SPEAKER_03: Well, uh last one up you got is a TV show or something like that?
- 36:45SPEAKER_02: TV show, really quickly here.
- 36:47SPEAKER_02: Um, I normally don't do this, but last night was a 78th primetime Emmy Awards.
- 36:51SPEAKER_02: I don't know if you guys watched it, but um Emmy Awards where they give out the awards for the studios and everything like that.
- 36:57SPEAKER_02: And the studio that won the most awards was Apple TV.
- 37:00SPEAKER_02: They won 28 awards.
- 37:01SPEAKER_02: Interesting.
- 37:02SPEAKER_02: Yes, and I'm going to talk about one of their shows here.
- 37:05SPEAKER_02: Hope it is not several.
- 37:08SPEAKER_02: I normally don't do this here.
- 37:09SPEAKER_02: This is a cult classic movie that they made into a show.
- 37:12SPEAKER_02: I don't know if you guys have seen Cape Fear.
- 37:14SPEAKER_02: Cape Fear Classic Show from 1990.
- 37:17SPEAKER_02: You love the show or the movie?
- 37:18SPEAKER_02: The movie, I'm sorry.
- 37:19SPEAKER_02: Okay, the movie from 1991, cult classic.
- 37:22SPEAKER_02: That's awesome.
- 37:23SPEAKER_02: Great.
- 37:24SPEAKER_02: They decided to make this into a TV show on Apple TV.
- 37:27SPEAKER_02: Uh this is only my second time doing this on the Tech Hustle.
- 37:30SPEAKER_02: Typically, I recommend shows.
- 37:32SPEAKER_02: I'm going to de-recommend this show.
- 37:33SPEAKER_02: Damn.
- 37:34SPEAKER_02: So I watched this, they completely butchered the cult classic, Cape Fear, made it to a TV show.
- 37:40SPEAKER_02: This is one of the worst things I've ever seen in my life.
- 37:42SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 37:43SPEAKER_03: On Apple TV?
- 37:44SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 37:44SPEAKER_02: So I don't know if anyone else has watched it, but it was bad.
- 37:47SPEAKER_02: I stuck through it, and it just was horrible.
- 37:50SPEAKER_02: So this is a second time.
- 37:54SPEAKER_02: I know yes.
- 37:55SPEAKER_02: So I stuck to it, unlike you, though.
- 37:58SPEAKER_02: See, I won't abandon the show.
- 37:59SPEAKER_02: So you watched the whole series?
- 38:00SPEAKER_02: I watched the whole series.
- 38:03SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 38:03SPEAKER_02: I thought you abandoned it.
- 38:04SPEAKER_02: Okay, you abandoned the other show, Showgun.
- 38:07SPEAKER_02: So, but yeah, yeah.
- 38:09SPEAKER_02: I definitely abandoned it a thousand percent.
- 38:11SPEAKER_02: So, yeah, I don't know if you guys have heard of this show or have seen it, Bobby, or as your wife has, or D Husky.
- 38:16SPEAKER_03: I don't have Apple TV.
- 38:17SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 38:17SPEAKER_03: Um, there's another show on Apple TV that I've been wanting to watch.
- 38:20SPEAKER_03: Uh uh Silo, I think it is.
- 38:23SPEAKER_03: Silo is Silo.
- 38:24SPEAKER_03: You seen it?
- 38:25SPEAKER_03: No.
- 38:25SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 38:25SPEAKER_03: Silo's fire.
- 38:26SPEAKER_03: I haven't seen the latest.
- 38:27SPEAKER_03: I know it's pretty good.
- 38:28SPEAKER_03: Oh, let's he watching it?
- 38:29SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 38:30SPEAKER_03: And then the other one, um Lioness, season three.
- 38:34SPEAKER_03: It came out already?
- 38:34SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's out.
- 38:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 38:35SPEAKER_03: Um, but it's on um I don't know if it's on Apple TV.
- 38:38SPEAKER_03: It's on Paramount.
- 38:39SPEAKER_03: It's on Paramount.
- 38:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah, those are the two that I've I've been like itching to find.
- 38:42SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 38:42SPEAKER_03: Um, but Silo is, I believe it's a few seasons of Silo.
- 38:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah, Silo is high quality sci-fi.
- 38:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 38:49SPEAKER_02: But that's also Apple TV, right?
- 38:50SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 38:51SPEAKER_02: Like I said, Apple is usually like 99%.
- 38:55SPEAKER_02: This is terrible.
- 38:56SPEAKER_02: This is a no recommendation.
- 38:57SPEAKER_02: This is a no recommendation.
- 38:59SPEAKER_02: The movie you do, but not the movies of co-clusive.
- 39:01SPEAKER_02: It was horrible.
- 39:02SPEAKER_02: Bad acting is just cheesy.
- 39:04SPEAKER_02: It's bad, bro.
- 39:05SPEAKER_02: Like, and it the star act, the acting on there, the actors and actresses is it's awesome.
- 39:11SPEAKER_02: But it just was bad, guys.
- 39:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so good actors, bad, bad shows.
- 39:15SPEAKER_02: Bad show, terrible, man.
- 39:16SPEAKER_02: Maybe bad direction, uh directors.
- 39:18SPEAKER_02: It's one of the worst shows I've ever seen in my life.
- 39:20SPEAKER_01: So that's my guy right there.
- 39:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's it's he's awesome, yeah.
- 39:24SPEAKER_02: But yeah, if you want to take a crack at it, maybe, maybe make me think differently, but I thought it was horrible.
- 39:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'll watch it.
- 39:31SPEAKER_03: I'll watch it, I'll give it a shot.
- 39:33SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 39:33SPEAKER_03: Wow.
- 39:34SPEAKER_03: Well, Raymond, as always, appreciate the nuggets you drop in, player.
- 39:38SPEAKER_03: Um, definitely always very, very much insightful.
- 39:42SPEAKER_03: Um, number one, Drewski's doing his thing.
- 39:45SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 39:45SPEAKER_03: Um he's not stopping, bro.
- 39:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he's he's he's he I actually feel like he's like our generation of like Eddie Murphy, uh Dave Chappelle.
- 39:56SPEAKER_03: Um stretching it right now.
- 39:57SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he's he's he's he's taking us all the way to the limit.
- 40:00SPEAKER_03: He keeps getting more offensive with his skits.
- 40:03SPEAKER_03: Hey, I think he's gonna go all the way until somebody, you know, really does something.
- 40:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 40:07SPEAKER_01: Wow, Steven Spielberg, exactly the producer.
- 40:09SPEAKER_01: You don't like this?
- 40:10SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 40:11SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna have to re-evaluate my man.
- 40:14SPEAKER_02: Go for it, my friend.
- 40:15SPEAKER_02: It has all the uh makings of being good.
- 40:18SPEAKER_02: Uh-huh.
- 40:18SPEAKER_02: Producer, the actors, the actress.
- 40:20SPEAKER_02: I was excited.
- 40:21SPEAKER_02: It just didn't make it.
- 40:22SPEAKER_02: It just is just yeah, man.
- 40:25SPEAKER_01: Uh, ladies and gentlemen, please don't listen to what I have to say right now.
- 40:28SPEAKER_01: Please wait until I watch it.
- 40:29SPEAKER_01: I can give you the real.
- 40:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 40:31SPEAKER_01: Let's get a second opinion here.
- 40:33SPEAKER_01: Second opinion.
- 40:35SPEAKER_01: Just like doctors, you want a second opinion.
- 40:37SPEAKER_01: This is where you need to get one.
- 40:39SPEAKER_01: Thanks.
- 40:39SPEAKER_01: 1000%.
- 40:40SPEAKER_03: 1000.
- 40:41SPEAKER_03: All right, fellas.
- 40:42SPEAKER_03: Well, next up, we got some um tech insights here.
- 40:46SPEAKER_03: Um, I heard my music queuing up a little bit.
- 40:50SPEAKER_03: Sorry about that.
- 40:51SPEAKER_03: That's that uh cold, whatever I had, congestion coming out.
- 40:54SPEAKER_03: Still going.
- 40:55SPEAKER_03: Still going, man.
- 40:56SPEAKER_03: Still going.
- 40:57SPEAKER_03: So uh for today's tech insights, uh, we're continuing a conversation we had last week, an episode, I believe it was one-on-one, where we're talking about um AI uh successfully hacking a company for the first time in record history.
- 41:12SPEAKER_03: But um, there's this movie that really popped off in our air.
- 41:16SPEAKER_03: Um, and actually, I I need to find out which version of the movies you like the most.
- 41:20SPEAKER_03: But uh, do y'all remember Terminator?
- 41:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 41:22SPEAKER_03: Terminator, you remember Terminator, Raymond?
- 41:23SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 41:24SPEAKER_03: Of all the Terminators, which one would you say is your best?
- 41:26SPEAKER_03: Terminator 2.
- 41:27SPEAKER_03: Terminator.
- 41:27SPEAKER_03: How about you, Raymond?
- 41:28SPEAKER_03: I meant D.
- 41:29SPEAKER_01: Um, I don't know.
- 41:31SPEAKER_01: Which one is the one with the liquid?
- 41:33SPEAKER_03: Uh that is That's Terminator 2.
- 41:35SPEAKER_03: That's Terminator 2.
- 41:36SPEAKER_03: Just Terminator?
- 41:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 41:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 41:37SPEAKER_03: That that one was a classic for sure.
- 41:40SPEAKER_03: Actually, when I first saw Terminator 2, I actually thought that was the original Terminator.
- 41:44SPEAKER_03: I didn't even know that there was one before.
- 41:46SPEAKER_03: Um, and then I watched the first one.
- 41:48SPEAKER_03: I was like, man, thank God I didn't watch that one before.
- 41:52SPEAKER_03: But um, what was that system that they had in Terminator that um they were they were trying to to fight against?
- 41:58SPEAKER_03: Um Skynet.
- 42:00SPEAKER_03: Skynet, yeah.
- 42:01SPEAKER_03: Like the the idea of Skynet, um, and this is the PSA announcement around AI, is a lot of people in the industry are calling AI has reached a point of like a Skynet.
- 42:13SPEAKER_03: Um so much so that there was a Anthropic, you remember Anthropic is one of the major labs out there.
- 42:19SPEAKER_03: Um one of their researchers decided to um leave.
- 42:24SPEAKER_03: Um and he actually used to also work at OpenAI, and he basically said something like, Yo, um this thing is about to off all of us um if we don't start to control it because we really don't know what it's doing.
- 42:38SPEAKER_03: Um my question to both of you is uh how how how afraid are y'all really about Skynet and do y'all think we we heading down a uh a wrong rabbit hole?
- 42:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it seems that uh they might have been ahead of their time because you know you hear these little one-off stories here and there where the AI just went off and did its own thing or did its training and um the one you did last week, it hacked some companies.
- 43:03SPEAKER_02: So yeah, it looks like we are getting there very close, if not already.
- 43:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 43:14SPEAKER_03: Because that hack that happened, it was doing it for two weeks and nobody even knew what was going on.
- 43:20SPEAKER_03: Like we we didn't even know that they they have already compromised one system, but then compromise a second system in another company, which uh I don't know why nobody really went to jail because technically if I hack into a company and I did what they did, I'm getting locked up, especially if they know who did it.
- 43:36SPEAKER_03: Um, but they kind of just chalked it up to the game.
- 43:40SPEAKER_03: So uh the the article that came out was by this guy named Jake Jacob um Coxton, where he resigned from OpenAI.
- 43:47SPEAKER_03: I'm sorry, resigned from Anthropic, and before working at Anthropic, he worked at AI, and he says that uh we're moving too damn fast that we don't know what we're doing, and we're gambling with our lives.
- 43:59SPEAKER_03: Basically, how Um there is a percentage of maybe the AI might do something crazy.
- 44:08SPEAKER_03: And he said it's like in the 10% range.
- 44:10SPEAKER_03: So 10% uh possibilities that AI um is gonna just you know off all human beings in the next decade.
- 44:19SPEAKER_03: Does that that give you any reservation over there, Dean?
- 44:22SPEAKER_03: Um depends.
- 44:25SPEAKER_01: It's like am I one of the ones that lasts?
- 44:29SPEAKER_01: I mean are we doing like the Terminator as far as the you know, like a like an Arnold?
- 44:37SPEAKER_01: He's he's transforming.
- 44:38SPEAKER_01: I mean, uh we're gonna use some guns and stuff.
- 44:41SPEAKER_01: I mean, other than that, I mean what what are we talking about?
- 44:43SPEAKER_01: Are we just talking about internet only?
- 44:45SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 44:46SPEAKER_03: I mean, it it's it's um there's definitely still a big leap between the two, right?
- 44:52SPEAKER_03: Um, we are talking about robots, and out of the three of us, I think you would be the first one to get a robot in your house.
- 44:58SPEAKER_03: So I could definitely, you know, foresee uh AI moving to more of a physical world inside of a robot.
- 45:05SPEAKER_03: Um, do I think we're there now?
- 45:08SPEAKER_03: I think we're very close, um, but I don't think we're there in terms of uh AI fully controlling robotics like what we saw in the movie Terminator.
- 45:17SPEAKER_03: But if we're only four years in, I hope y'all know that, it's only been four years since Chat GPT came out.
- 45:24SPEAKER_03: It came out in November 2022.
- 45:26SPEAKER_03: Four years.
- 45:27SPEAKER_03: We're only four years in.
- 45:29SPEAKER_03: And look at how far we are, where computers can hack into another company without anybody telling it.
- 45:34SPEAKER_03: Imagine what the next four years will be.
- 45:37SPEAKER_03: Or what this guy is predicting is is like by the end of this decade, so by the end of 2029, going into 2030, um, which is only two and a half, three years from now, um, it it could be a wrap.
- 45:51SPEAKER_01: For who?
- 45:53SPEAKER_01: Society.
- 45:54SPEAKER_01: I mean and who should we be getting mad at?
- 45:57SPEAKER_01: Open AI and Anthropics.
- 46:00SPEAKER_01: I don't think so.
- 46:01SPEAKER_01: I think the people who made it, we should be getting mad at.
- 46:03SPEAKER_03: The the the actual founder founders?
- 46:05SPEAKER_03: The founders founders.
- 46:07SPEAKER_01: Because at the end of the day, you're giving them the power, you're giving them the authority slash to do all this stuff.
- 46:17SPEAKER_01: Um if anything happens, you have to somebody has to get the blame.
- 46:22SPEAKER_01: Somebody.
- 46:22SPEAKER_01: So why nobody's being penalized?
- 46:25SPEAKER_03: Which is really surprising in terms of what happened with that company getting hacked and nobody's really getting blamed.
- 46:31SPEAKER_03: Um actually something happened the other day also that um the CEOs of all these labs from OpenAI, Anthropic, and even XAI being Elon over there, they said, yo, we gotta slow down what we're doing, but we're only gonna slow down if China slows down.
- 46:48SPEAKER_03: And what do y'all think China said?
- 46:53SPEAKER_03: You think China's gonna slow down?
- 46:54SPEAKER_02: No, not China's not as well.
- 46:56SPEAKER_03: China's ahead.
- 46:57SPEAKER_03: China's like, we already ahead, and we're we're only gonna be moving faster.
- 47:01SPEAKER_03: So that's the thing that we are up against in terms of what's gonna cause them to slow down, is this competition between United States labs versus China labs, and China is like on this, like, yo, um, we ain't got that problem over here, um, or at least they're not reporting about that problem, um, and we're actually gonna keep going.
- 47:21SPEAKER_03: I guess is what I'm you know, closing out this topic here is is like um for me, I'm always stuck in this situation.
- 47:28SPEAKER_03: I was talking to Raymond about this, is like, hey, if if we know we're playing with an atomic bomb, um, but everybody's gonna continue to play with it, should we still continue to play with it or should we like exclude it?
- 47:41SPEAKER_03: And my thing is is like if AI is like an atomic bomb, then at least we in terms of our people need to know how it works.
- 47:47SPEAKER_03: Right rather than just being like, hey, nobody knows how this works, and then we get caught with our pants down per se.
- 47:54SPEAKER_03: Um is I'm like very cautious about it, but I'm very active in using it.
- 48:00SPEAKER_03: That I use uh LLMs or um like an open AI or Claude, um, but I also use some from China too, which are cheap as hell, but they do just as well as the ones here um is uh we have to be utilizing whoever has it available so that we can just get ready for whatever situation.
- 48:17SPEAKER_03: But um, we are very close to um AGI, which is artificial general intelligence, which I think with the last few models that came out, we're really, really close.
- 48:28SPEAKER_03: They're still questioning if we're there.
- 48:30SPEAKER_03: Um, but the next step is like uh ASI, like uh artificial superintelligence.
- 48:37SPEAKER_03: That's the one that I'm really worried about.
- 48:39SPEAKER_03: That's the one that when we get there, then we're really messing with Skynet because then it's making its own decision and it's able to improve itself, and each iteration is going to be smarter and smarter and smarter than us.
- 48:49SPEAKER_03: And right now they're really fucking smart.
- 48:51SPEAKER_03: I mean, there's things that I didn't even know about tech that it's teaching me on a daily basis, is that it is actually really there, but it's not at that super intelligent mark.
- 49:00SPEAKER_03: Once it gets there, then yeah, we're we're definitely at Skynet level because then they'll be able to take control of robots that are in the house, anything connected to the internet, you can call it theirs.
- 49:11SPEAKER_03: And the thing that that also is like real eye breaking is the the hack that happened a few weeks ago, they put it inside of an isolated environment and it found its way out.
- 49:22SPEAKER_03: Like that right there is like, yeah, you're really approaching really close to um this idea of general intelligence, but I think if we're getting closer to super intelligent, they just don't, they ain't gonna tell us yet because they're gonna have it before they tell everybody about it, and they're just trying to block people from getting it.
- 49:38SPEAKER_03: But um, I'm still gonna encourage everybody to learn, develop the skills, understand how it works.
- 49:43SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna continue to post about and talk about it.
- 49:46SPEAKER_03: Um, but just keep an eye out.
- 49:47SPEAKER_03: If you're starting to see robots and things doing things that it's not supposed to do, just pull the plug, just unplug it.
- 49:53SPEAKER_03: Like, don't try to go figure it out and be like, oh, why did it do that?
- 49:57SPEAKER_03: Just go unplug it from the wall, take the battery out, and like just disconnect.
- 50:01SPEAKER_03: Uh, but that's all that I got for the tech insights, fellas.
- 50:04SPEAKER_03: Um, and definitely if you are looking for some more information about AI or you want to chat some more about it, drop some comments in the below and we'll definitely be chopping it up.
- 50:11SPEAKER_03: Um, and keep a lookout on my Instagram page.
- 50:14SPEAKER_03: I'm um posting these things called Bobby D Signals, where I'm gonna be dropping more insights on daily news around AI and definitely want y'all to all get connected.
- 50:22SPEAKER_03: So that's a little bit same as plug there.
- 50:24SPEAKER_03: Um, yeah, cue up uh what we got coming up next, brother.
- 50:28SPEAKER_03: I think it's um sports inner's up next.
- 50:31SPEAKER_03: Let me see.
- 50:32SPEAKER_03: Sports on it?
- 50:51SPEAKER_01: Good morning, good afternoon.
- 50:53SPEAKER_01: Hope everybody's having a phenomenal Tuesday, as Raymond says.
- 50:56SPEAKER_01: A wonderful Tuesday.
- 50:58SPEAKER_01: Wonderful Tuesday.
- 50:58SPEAKER_01: Uh making sure everybody here.
- 51:00SPEAKER_01: Welcome to the sports where I go ahead and break down a couple good good stuff.
- 51:04SPEAKER_01: Let's start off with NHL, ladies and gentlemen.
- 51:07SPEAKER_01: NHL, it is back.
- 51:09SPEAKER_01: If you guys are not ready for NHL, it starts tomorrow.
- 51:12SPEAKER_01: Let's get ready.
- 51:13SPEAKER_01: Let me know who's your favorite team.
- 51:14SPEAKER_01: So maybe I can go ahead and shout them out besides the Florida Panthers and the New York Rangers.
- 51:19SPEAKER_01: Let's say we can give somebody else here or New Jersey Devils.
- 51:23SPEAKER_01: Anybody that's not a Panther fan, let me know.
- 51:26SPEAKER_01: We're gonna go ahead and give them a shout.
- 51:27SPEAKER_01: Boxing, ladies and gentlemen.
- 51:29SPEAKER_01: Boxing is going on.
- 51:30SPEAKER_01: I don't know if you have not seen boxing, but my man Ryan Garcia took the belt back with him.
- 51:36SPEAKER_01: He didn't even lose it.
- 51:37SPEAKER_01: It was a great fight.
- 51:38SPEAKER_01: When that happened nights ago, this uh yeah, this Saturday.
- 51:41SPEAKER_01: The past Saturday?
- 51:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 51:43SPEAKER_01: Pass, knocked him out second round, took care of business, was gonna fight freaking um, what's his name?
- 51:49SPEAKER_01: Jake Paul.
- 51:50SPEAKER_01: But he just he turned down that money.
- 51:51SPEAKER_01: He said, nah, I'm alright.
- 51:54SPEAKER_01: He was like, nah, it's not enough money for me, K.
- 51:56SPEAKER_01: I'm alright.
- 51:57SPEAKER_01: Plus, I don't I'm I'll be losing a lot of stuff.
- 52:00SPEAKER_01: Let me get to a real fight.
- 52:01SPEAKER_01: Let's talk, let's not go Ben, let's figure out what's going on.
- 52:04SPEAKER_01: But he was calling now my man uh over there on the on on stage.
- 52:10SPEAKER_01: He was talking, he was called talking to um Teflo.
- 52:13SPEAKER_01: Um he's ready for Teflow.
- 52:14SPEAKER_01: Teflow's ready to have a fight.
- 52:16SPEAKER_01: I think we were about to have another fight on the stage after the fight.
- 52:19SPEAKER_01: It only went two rounds, so then he's gonna go.
- 52:21SPEAKER_01: So he was ready.
- 52:22SPEAKER_01: He was ready to go.
- 52:22SPEAKER_01: So let's see.
- 52:23SPEAKER_01: But we're trying to figure out who Garcia wants to fight next.
- 52:26SPEAKER_01: Maybe Shakur, Tank after that.
- 52:28SPEAKER_01: I don't think Hangley wants to see any of that business right there, but it is what it is.
- 52:32SPEAKER_01: I would like to see Tank uh fight him again.
- 52:36SPEAKER_01: Uh maybe it might be a different song, but Shakur would be a great, great fight.
- 52:40SPEAKER_01: I like Shakur.
- 52:41SPEAKER_01: Good guy.
- 52:41SPEAKER_01: So let's let me know who you like to see fight, Mr.
- 52:44SPEAKER_01: Garcia.
- 52:46SPEAKER_01: Soccer, soccer is going on, FIFA is going on over there, a lot of things going on, a lot of kick, a lot of gola.
- 52:53SPEAKER_01: So let me know what you guys like.
- 52:54SPEAKER_01: Who's your favorite team?
- 52:55SPEAKER_01: Let me know so I can go ahead and shout them out.
- 52:58SPEAKER_01: WWE is on, ladies and gentlemen.
- 53:01SPEAKER_01: There's a lot of stuff going on right now in WWE.
- 53:04SPEAKER_01: Let me know who's your favorite person so I can go ahead and give them a shout.
- 53:09SPEAKER_01: Men's golf.
- 53:11SPEAKER_01: Tiger who tiger woo.
- 53:13SPEAKER_01: Tiger Woo is right now in rehab, still trying to figure out what's going on with him.
- 53:18SPEAKER_01: But he's there.
- 53:18SPEAKER_01: But as of right now, Scotty Scheffler is handling business over there in the man's um golf.
- 53:25SPEAKER_01: Let me know who you like.
- 53:26SPEAKER_01: Get get well, Tiger.
- 53:27SPEAKER_01: Get well.
- 53:28SPEAKER_01: Formula Ugh.
- 53:29SPEAKER_01: Formula Ugh is on, ladies and gentlemen.
- 53:32SPEAKER_01: People over there trying to make things happen over there.
- 53:34SPEAKER_01: It's a lot of a lot of shit going on with my man uh Lewis and the rest of the crew over there trying to figure out what's going on.
- 53:41SPEAKER_01: A lot of controversy.
- 53:42SPEAKER_01: I don't know, man.
- 53:43SPEAKER_01: Lewis might end up fighting somebody.
- 53:45SPEAKER_01: He said this is not a team.
- 53:46SPEAKER_01: It seems like this is a me situation.
- 53:48SPEAKER_01: He's fighting the other driver.
- 53:50SPEAKER_01: Fighting other drivers.
- 53:50SPEAKER_01: We see what happens here.
- 53:51SPEAKER_01: So Mercedes number one, Ferrari, uh McLaren, and Red Bull.
- 53:55SPEAKER_01: Those are the three top.
- 53:57SPEAKER_01: Let me know who it is.
- 53:59SPEAKER_01: U.S.
- 53:59SPEAKER_01: Open, ladies and gentlemen, what's going on?
- 54:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 54:02SPEAKER_01: It's happened.
- 54:03SPEAKER_01: USA lost against the German.
- 54:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 54:06SPEAKER_01: Mr.
- 54:06SPEAKER_01: Shelton lost against Mr.
- 54:09SPEAKER_01: Severy.
- 54:10SPEAKER_01: Whatever.
- 54:10SPEAKER_01: I can't pronounce that.
- 54:11SPEAKER_01: Do apologize.
- 54:12SPEAKER_01: I couldn't get it.
- 54:13SPEAKER_01: Holler at your boy.
- 54:14SPEAKER_01: Let me know if I said it right correctly over here.
- 54:17SPEAKER_01: College football is on, ladies and gentlemen.
- 54:18SPEAKER_01: If you're not watching college football, it is a lot of stuff going on.
- 54:21SPEAKER_01: Even the South Florida Bulls.
- 54:23SPEAKER_01: UCF taking care of business of 2-0.
- 54:26SPEAKER_01: Florida Atlantic is one and one.
- 54:28SPEAKER_01: I'm not too sure where I'm seeing.
- 54:29SPEAKER_01: Let me keep going down.
- 54:30SPEAKER_01: Maybe I see another team.
- 54:31SPEAKER_01: Miami.
- 54:32SPEAKER_01: Miami.
- 54:33SPEAKER_01: 2-0, bro.
- 54:34SPEAKER_01: Taking care of business.
- 54:35SPEAKER_01: You let me know what you're doing.
- 54:36SPEAKER_01: Did you have one, Raymond?
- 54:36SPEAKER_01: No, no, no.
- 54:37SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 54:37SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 54:38SPEAKER_01: Hand up.
- 54:38SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 54:38SPEAKER_01: Let me find out what's going on with Raymond's team.
- 54:41SPEAKER_01: The Gators.
- 54:41SPEAKER_01: The Gators.
- 54:42SPEAKER_01: Hey, all the way down on the bottom.
- 54:44SPEAKER_01: Let me see.
- 54:44SPEAKER_01: Keep going down.
- 54:46SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 54:47SPEAKER_01: The Trojans are 3-0, taking care of business.
- 54:49SPEAKER_01: Indiana Hoosers are 2-0.
- 54:52SPEAKER_01: Let's keep going down, ladies and gentlemen.
- 54:54SPEAKER_01: Let me see what's going on.
- 54:55SPEAKER_01: Oh shit.
- 54:56SPEAKER_01: Not Rutgers 0-2.
- 54:57SPEAKER_01: Rutgers are handling no business over there.
- 55:00SPEAKER_01: Florida International Panthers are 1-1.
- 55:04SPEAKER_01: Let's see what's going on.
- 55:05SPEAKER_01: It is bad over here.
- 55:06SPEAKER_01: It is really, really bad.
- 55:08SPEAKER_01: We don't even see any good teams going on over here.
- 55:11SPEAKER_01: What Miami Redhawks are one and one.
- 55:15SPEAKER_01: Oh my goodness, ladies and gentlemen.
- 55:16SPEAKER_01: Who is your team?
- 55:17SPEAKER_01: So I can go ahead and give them a shout.
- 55:19SPEAKER_01: Put your team's names in the description.
- 55:21SPEAKER_01: Alabama's still doing their thing 2-0.
- 55:24SPEAKER_01: So we could gators are 2-0.
- 55:26SPEAKER_01: Look at that.
- 55:26SPEAKER_01: Ain't that some shit?
- 55:28SPEAKER_01: He was waiting for you to find it.
- 55:29SPEAKER_01: That's what it was.
- 55:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it was way over down the bottom thing.
- 55:33SPEAKER_01: I can even find Florida State.
- 55:35SPEAKER_01: They took them out of the league, but hey, that's what happens.
- 55:38SPEAKER_01: It is what it is.
- 55:39SPEAKER_01: Well, the Ducks are one-on-one.
- 55:41SPEAKER_01: That is crazy.
- 55:42SPEAKER_01: Oh, Oregon Ducks.
- 55:44SPEAKER_01: Oregon Ducks.
- 55:45SPEAKER_01: Syracuse are one-on-one.
- 55:47SPEAKER_01: Clemson are one and one.
- 55:49SPEAKER_01: Anyway, let me know who's your team so we can go ahead and give them a shout.
- 55:52SPEAKER_01: Ladies and gentlemen, let's get down to NBA.
- 55:56SPEAKER_01: Let me know what's going on here.
- 55:59SPEAKER_01: NBA is getting ready.
- 56:00SPEAKER_01: Finally, the Clippers and Raptors are ready to deal with the Kawhi Leonard Drake.
- 56:05SPEAKER_01: It has been confirmed it is the official tissue.
- 56:09SPEAKER_01: 76ers are still trying to figure out who's going on, who's going to be the main guy over there.
- 56:13SPEAKER_01: Who were they passing the ball?
- 56:14SPEAKER_01: Is it a B?
- 56:15SPEAKER_01: Is it fucking Labum?
- 56:17SPEAKER_01: Is it fucking Maxie?
- 56:19SPEAKER_01: Let us know who you think is going to be MVP in that team here.
- 56:22SPEAKER_01: It might even be the uh fan.
- 56:24SPEAKER_01: It might even not be none of the players.
- 56:26SPEAKER_01: We don't know.
- 56:27SPEAKER_01: It is what it is.
- 56:28SPEAKER_03: What's that guy they got from um Boston?
- 56:30SPEAKER_03: Um Jalen Brown.
