Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: Good morning friends and enemies.
- 0:01[SPEAKER_00]: Today's video is the week five running back preview where we go game by game letting y'all know if I would sit or start every single fantasy relevant running back.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_00]: We do this every onceay for running backs.
- 0:11[SPEAKER_00]: We do this every Thursday for wider receivers.
- 0:14[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're new here, make sure you subscribe to the channel.
- 0:17[SPEAKER_00]: And once you do so, we can hop right into Thursday night football.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_00]: first game of the week is San Francisco 49ers at the LA Rams.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_00]: Now the Rams are already six and a half point favorites in this one a 46 and a half point total that spread is huge and that is indicating that Vegas is not expect a lot of the 49ers offensive pieces to be playing in this one, which I think is reasonable given.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_00]: the practice reports.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_00]: If we look at the DNP's up top, Johan Jennings back to back the MP's Ricky Pierce all back to back the MP's Brock Perty back to back the MP's there is a chance that they're without all three of those players, meaning Matt Jones would end up getting the start and then at receiver.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_00]: Johan Jennings was DNP at all two weeks ago, most of last week got one limited practice in, so I'm like,
- 1:00[SPEAKER_00]: semi relatively optimistic kind of that Joanne Jennings could play a little bit less optimistic about the other two, but we'll see about those guys and then So yeah, not that it really matters for fantasy because Kyron Williams coming off of a good game last week San Francisco's defense just did not look the same without
- 1:16[SPEAKER_00]: Nick Bosa, who's gonna be out for the year.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_00]: So Kyron Williams, I mean, if you have them, you're obviously throwing them into the Mustart category.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_00]: He's definitely not sitting on your bench.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_00]: And then CMAC, he's gonna catch upwards of 372 passes in this game with all those weapons out for the Niners.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_00]: Should also be noted that these are the four teams on the by this week at Lannis Chicago Green Bay and Pittsburgh, meaning no Bijon, Algier, no DeAndre, Swift, no Josh Jacobs, and no Caleb Johnstein.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: No Jalen Warren and, or,
- 1:43[SPEAKER_00]: Kenneth Gainwell.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_00]: Next up, we've got Minnesota at Cleveland.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_00]: This game is being played 9.30 a.m.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_00]: Eastern time in England.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_00]: Good old England.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_00]: We've got Jordan Mason coming off of a relatively disappointing performance last week in Dublin.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_00]: He's still got the work.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_00]: He's still the workhorse.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_00]: There.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not overly concerned about his role here.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: The Browns obviously have a great run defense, but at the end of the day Mason's going to see upwards of 18 touches.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_00]: So he's going to go into the
- 2:11[SPEAKER_00]: One of the more exciting rookies of the entire class right now he's playing so well the over under in this game Minnesota Cleveland is 35 and a half they did announce that it's most likely going to be dealing Gabriel at quarterback in favor of Joe Flacco, which probably means they're going to be running the ball a little bit more dealing Gabriel's a pretty solid mobile quarterback as well.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_00]: So I just think it's going to be a very run heavy game plan for
- 2:34[SPEAKER_00]: The Cleveland Browns and on the flipside Minnesota, they've been a good pasty fence, but as you could see, they haven't been great against the run right now.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_00]: They're in the bottom half in terms of fantasy points allowed to the running back position.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_00]: Also, bottom eight in EPA per rush allowed.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_00]: So, Quinton Judkins, when I watch him play, he reminds me of Joe mixed in a bit.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you don't watch him and he doesn't pop off the screen, but he's big.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_00]: He's powerful.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: He does everything well.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_00]: you know and he's just going to be a workhorse that can continue to deliver a lot of touches for a long period of time.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_00]: So that that would be like my player comp for judgekins if you're trying to think of you know who he is when he's on the field or what you can expect over the long term.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_00]: He's a guy that you can give 18 plus carries two is a guy that's not going to drop passes when you throw him his way is a guy that can be very dependable on the goal line and we'll continue to score touchdowns when he gets a rock and I think over the long
- 3:21[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be one of those guys that's, you know, he's so solid for the team and his upside and his ceiling is going to be dictated by how good the Browns end up becoming over the next like three to five year period in years where the bangles were a good offense, you know, mixing had the chance to score 12 to 15 rushing touchdowns when the Browns are an okay team, I think Juckins will be able to do the same.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_00]: And then lastly, we've got Xavier Scott who played a lot of the passing down role from Minnesota in last week's game.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_00]: However, I just don't think we're going to get a game script like that against the Browns who kind of like drag opponents down in the mud again 35 and a half point total here.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_00]: My catch a couple dump offs if they really get in, you know, catch up mode, but I don't really see that happening.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_00]: So Xavier Scott for now is going to be a rather knock Dallas at the New York Jets Dallas two and a half point favorites.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, javante at this point.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how many running backs I want to start over him, especially going against the jet's defense.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: So he's going right into a Mustard category.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_00]: Breeze Hall is going to be a really, really strong start as well.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_00]: I'm having trouble deciding between a Mustard and a feels good.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_00]: I don't see how you can say to him, I think I'm going to put him at the end of this tier, because he gets to play the Cowboys who, as you could see, are a juicy matchup for running backs.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_00]: And on top of that, Braille and Allen is likely going to be thrown on the IR, and Isaiah Davis will fill in.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be a rather not it.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_00]: I think he'll catch a couple dump-offs and play a little bit of the passing down role, and he's been good in that role.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_00]: But I'd imagine we see a near-Bell-Cow role for Bryce Hall, a ton of touches to him in a really good matchup against the Cowboys.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_00]: Moving on to Denver at Philly Philly is three and a half point favorites at home 43 and a half point total Say Quan I know he's looked a little bit slower this year than in previous seasons What he still say Quan he's still gonna get a ton of touches.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_00]: He's still gonna get a ton of gold line work when they get down there
- 5:00[SPEAKER_00]: You're not sitting sick on Barclay, of course.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_00]: And then you have the Denver backfield, which gets a little bit interesting, right?
- 5:05[SPEAKER_00]: They played against sincey last week.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_00]: They got up big and they really controlled the clock and give the running back to ton of touches.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_00]: I think this is the tough matchup, obviously, going against the Philly run defense, who's 20th in EPA per Russia loud.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_00]: Dobbins for me is played really well.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: That I feel good about having him in my lineup.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know that I feel as good about him compared to dudes like Jordan Mason or Quinshot
- 5:29[SPEAKER_00]: So he's going to go into the dub flex category for now, because I am going to end up ranking him below these other guys.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_00]: My rankings will go live today on bdge.co around 1 p.m.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: Eastern time that I'll have all the running backs, wide receivers, positions, flex anything that you need are in there.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_00]: You can tell
- 5:44[SPEAKER_00]: to be a big dog member right there on bdg.co, which gets you access to the weekly rankings, the cheapest way to do it, which will get you three months free of the big dog membership, is going to our partner site, or app, mgm, depositing $10 more using code bdg when you do so, play any slip on there, and they're automatically going to send you a promo code in app that you could use on our website for three months free of the big dog membership.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_00]: So, Dobbins is the one that I think if you have them, you're putting them into your lineup.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: The other one is RJ Harvey's
- 6:09[SPEAKER_00]: coming off of a really big game finally has his like kind of breakout games and NFL player.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: That being said, the Broncos ran a ton of plays again.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: They were in total control of the game script against Cincinnati Bengals, which I think did lead to more explosive plays for him, which I think just overall led to more volume for a dude like RJ Harvey.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: I'm optimistic about him if I've been holding onto him and I have him on my bench, but I don't think there's any way that I'm looking to actually start him this week.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to throw him into the shaky flex category because I do think this backfield, like we've all kind of expected, is now starting to look like it's more of a 50-50 split or at least condensed sound to two people I should say sorry.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_00]: I think Dobbins is still like a 60-40 guy, but I think it's now starting to be condensed down to Dobbins and RJ Harvey and Harvey has that ability to hit a big play at any given moment in the game.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_00]: But overall still not sold on the work old split being high enough for Harvey to make in a dent in your fantasy lineup and the match against Phillies not great Houston at Baltimore right now this is a tough one to project we are pretty sure that Lamar Jackson's going to be out for a couple weeks so they're going to be with Cooper Rush.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: at QB for Baltimore, the Texans are one and a half point favorites right now.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_00]: The Baltimore defense, we don't have practice reports for this week, but there's a chance that they're, I mean, they're definitely without Medabike who's out for the year.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: Nate Wiggins got banged up, Rokon Smith got banged up, uh, Marlin Humphrey got hurt.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_00]: Like, they might be without.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_00]: most of their star power on defense.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_00]: I know Derek Henry hasn't looked great and the game script might favor Justice Hill a little bit, but there's just no chance you are sitting Derek Henry.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_00]: I think with Cooper Rush at quarterback, we also saw Cooper Rush operate as the Cowboys quarterback for like eight or nine games last year.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_00]: So he has experience.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_00]: He's not someone who's going to tank the offense by any means.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_00]: So I think they will be okay enough on the offensive side of the ball that I still feel fine about Derek Henry.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_00]: Justice Hill coming off the big game, I get it.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it feels like every time Justice Hill is a big game, we want to add them
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: If you've been playing fantasy football for more than a year, you should know that guys like Justice Hill are typically fools gold.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: That being said, the defense is really bad.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_00]: They are with the backup quarterback.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_00]: So game script probably does favor Justice Hill in this game more than it does in previous game.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_00]: So listen, I'm going to throw him into the shaky flex category, but he's not someone that I'm like excited about getting into my lineup despite last week.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_00]: Now, the big conversation to be had is Woody Marx, of course, who took over the backfield
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: out snapped outcarried, out targeted, outproduced out fantasy, Nick Chublass week for the first time this season and looked damn good doing it.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_00]: This shit is actually going to be hilarious if it doesn't go exactly how everyone thinks it's going to go.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_00]: Like what he marks goes back to being like a 38% snap guy in this game.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_00]: As you can see, man, like the Baltimore defense, it can't be overstated how underwhelming they've actually been.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_00]: allowing the single most fantasy points to the running back position, allowing the single most points overall to teams that they're playing, and then, you know, bottom three and EPA per Russia loud.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_00]: So Woody Marx, man, I'm going to throw him into the the dub flex category.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's eventually when I do my rankings, probably going to get him into a top 20 back, if not a top 18 back, because again, we have four teams on by all with guys who are fantasy relevant running back.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: So you take out four to six players and Woody Marx probably
- 9:12[SPEAKER_00]: 22 24 each guy and I think he probably cracks the top 18 is so at this point I'm having a little bit of difficulty separating feels good and Doug flex to be honest with you But Mark's felt great and I'm gonna feel good about having my lineup Nick Chub on the other hand again He just like you're just praying for a touchdown from him
- 9:28[SPEAKER_00]: Moving on to the next game, we've got the Raiders at the Indianapolis Colts.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_00]: The Colts are seven point favorites in this one.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_00]: Jonathan Taylor, of course, is a must-start right now.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_00]: They have his props already up for this game.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_00]: 87 and a half rushing yards, 15 and a half receiving yards.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: Minus 260 anytime touchdown.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_00]: It's a pretty high number considering Daniel Jones and now Tyler Warren are both stealing some carries on the goal line.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_00]: But,
- 9:51[SPEAKER_00]: Vegas knows more than me apparently.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_00]: Ash and Genties the other interesting one here.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_00]: Because Gentie, I think everyone coming off of last week's going to be like, oh, Gentie's a locked in top 10 fantasy running back.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that's probably the case again for this week when there are by weeks.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_00]: However, like the bears run defense, it can't be also overstated how bad they are.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_00]: Like they're a cure all for any fantasy running backs.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: We were
- 10:13[SPEAKER_00]: Very heavy in on genty having a massive week last week going back to the running back rankings video from last week We altered his rushing yards up to a hundred and we hit that as one of our bets of the week You can follow all of my slips that I place with the picket app free to download just use code bdge when you get on there and everything's free for you P.I.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_00]: K.K.I.T.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_00]: code bdge and it will sync with my sportsbooks.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_00]: You could sync your sportsbooks You could follow your friends.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's like a social betting app.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's pretty fucking sweet.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_00]: So download picket and you could see what I take for this upcoming week
- 10:42[SPEAKER_00]: But, Gentie, I do think we're going to have a coming back down to Earth Moment for Gentie.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_00]: I still think he's extremely usable, he's going to go into the field's good category, but I'm not expecting massive numbers again.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_00]: I do think what we can expect is a little bit more involvement in the receiving game on a week week basis, so I like his PPR floor, but the cults are much more difficult run defense than the Chicago Bears, and the other part of this is the Raider's offensive line to not fix itself overnight, and they lost their best tackle Colton Miller who's going to be on the IR, so that's another big blow.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_00]: So again, if you have GENTI, you're, you know, 90% starting him, but he won't be like a top five top eight guy in my rankings this week.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_00]: Miami at Carolina speaking of top eight guys for me, HN is obviously a must start against this Carolina run defense.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: Miami's one and a half point favorites, 44 and a half point total here.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_00]: I think the other running back to really discuss is Chuba Hubbard.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_00]: Chuba Hubbard's been pretty underwhelming last couple of weeks.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_00]: Rico doubt was getting a little bit
- 11:38[SPEAKER_00]: what happens when they're in a normal, you know, 21, 17 type of game.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_00]: I think for the most part, it goes to Chewbehover.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_00]: He's obviously playing a significantly higher number of snaps and Rico doubtal two weeks ago.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_00]: He's got 17 carries.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_00]: He's been relatively involved in the passing game as well.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: I think his reception line last week was at three and a half.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_00]: So he's getting the targets.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_00]: This is a really good match up against the Miami team.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_00]: One of the issues though has been when they get inside the 10 and the 5, they really are rotating between Chewbeho and Rico doubtal.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_00]: So I
- 12:06[SPEAKER_00]: out look to be frank with you.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_00]: So he's going to go into the dub flex category for me despite the fantastic matchup.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: And then you got the other guys like Ali Gordon's or rather not, Riko Dowdo's also rather not.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_00]: And I also think with Devon H. and something I should obviously bring up is without Tyre Kill.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that obviously means other pass catchers like H and are going to have to get more involved.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe they use him a little bit more in the slot.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_00]: They get a little bit more creative in the
- 12:29[SPEAKER_00]: 10 yard line and red zone there for him.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_00]: So next up, we got the Giants at the Saints.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_00]: The Giants are two and a half point underdogs here on the road.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_00]: 40 and a half point total.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_00]: Listen, Camp Scatterwell, you're talking about 25 carries and then he gets the Saints defense.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_00]: He's going right into the Mustard category for me.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_00]: I know he didn't have like an explosive game last week, but that
- 12:49[SPEAKER_00]: kind of workload is just not something you're seeing any other running back across the league.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_00]: Get Tyler and Tracy's going to be out probably at least for another week.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_00]: So just ride cam until the wheels fall off that just like the giants are about to do.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_00]: The Saints backfield is a little bit trickier.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_00]: Camaro's been a bit underwhelming up to this point in the season.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: And now we saw Kendra Miller take a little bit more of the carry share.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_00]: So overall, I do think it's reasonable to have some concerns about a guy like Alvin Kamara.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_00]: That being said, the matchup is fantastic.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_00]: The New York Giants are dead last in EPA per Rush allowed to opposing running backs, bottom five in fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_00]: And at the end of the day, Kamara was still playing more than 70% of the snaps in this offense.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_00]: Kendra Miller just happened to have some really nice runs that happened to be like the highlights of the game.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_00]: But I think Kamara played pretty well.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_00]: He's still running 70% of the routes on this team and it seemed that's very high pace around a ton of plays.
- 13:40[SPEAKER_00]: So, listen, I just think it's a little bit of like bad luck breaking his way in the receiving game.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_00]: He had four receptions.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: He shouldn't break anything for big plays.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_00]: So I still think I feel good about Alvin Kamara, Kendra Miller is definitely going to be
- 13:51[SPEAKER_00]: a shaky flex for me.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_00]: It's one of those where you have to rely on a rushing touchdown from Kendra Miller, which is the Saints offense, and it's just not something that you want to be relying on a week to week basis.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_00]: Moving over to Tampa Bay at Seattle, Seattle is three and a half-point favorites in Seattle.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_00]: So Tampa Bay's got a far distance to travel, obviously, to get to the northwest corner of the great United States of America.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_00]: Bucky Irving's dealing with this like foot ankle issue.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_00]: We don't have word on him yet.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_00]: He might play this week.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_00]: He might be out
- 14:21[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, at the end of the day, here's how we're going to wrap this up, like Seattle's a very, very good run defense, 31st and EPA, per Rush aloud, Bucky, if he's playing, you're obviously throwing him into the lineup.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: If he's not playing, it gets tricky with Rashad White, because obviously, it back up running back, but when we look back to last year when Bucky did not play at the end of the season, it was all Rashad White playing as a workhorse.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_00]: So despite the tough matchup, he's going to go into the field's good category and be a rock solid RB2 with pass catching upside, with running upside, getting the majority of the
- 14:49[SPEAKER_00]: I like Rashad White there.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, if Bucky's playing, you're not going to end up playing Rashad White.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_00]: If Bucky does not play, Sean Tucker is a player that's going to be on people's radars, but you're definitely not throwing him into your line.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: He's got an almost no involvement this year.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_00]: So he'll just be kind of like a second fiddle to Rashad White and a very far off second fiddle in my opinion.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_00]: Now, Seattle's backfield gets tricky because this split for these two are it's still completely right down in the middle, right?
- 15:14[SPEAKER_00]: I think at the end of the day he's going to
- 15:16[SPEAKER_00]: who ends up scoring the touchdown.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_00]: And realistically, Charbon A continues to get almost all of the carries inside the five yard line when the two of them are on the field together and playing together.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_00]: So if I have Kenneth Walker, I still feel relatively good about playing him.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_00]: He's a dub flex for me.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_00]: If I have him on my roster, I think I feel okay about his workload.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_00]: He got like 20 touches last week.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_00]: He's explosive.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_00]: He's a good pass catcher.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_00]: Do I expect the touchdown to come?
- 15:41[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, Vegas has him at minus 130.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_00]: That feels a little bit juicy to me.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_00]: With those types of props, you can actually take the other side.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_00]: So the only actual good comp is comparing him to other players around him.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_00]: And then Zack Sharpenay is going to get some touches.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_00]: Might get a goal line, carry or two.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_00]: But he's definitely going to the shaky flex category for me.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_00]: So next game up on the sleigh, we got Tennessee at Arizona, Arizona, seven and a half point favorites at home in this one 41 and a half point total.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_00]: Now, this is kind of a mess of a running back game right now, because we have Tony Pollard, who's basically awalking 18 for 70 and like nine fantasy points right now.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: If he gets in the end zone, he's going to have a decent day for you if not.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be a little bit underwhelming.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_00]: So you know he has a floor.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_00]: and I think I like him better than most of the guys in the shaky flex category, but I like him worse than a lot of the guys in the dub flex category.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to throw him into the shaky flex for right now and throw him at the top of that tier.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_00]: Now, Tajaj Spears has missed the first four games on IAR, Tyinkle Sprayn that he suffered in the summer.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_00]: He is eligible to return in week five.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_00]: He is expected to resume practicing this week.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_00]: Will that happen?
- 16:44[SPEAKER_00]: He'll likely get back to practice.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_00]: Will he play?
- 16:47[SPEAKER_00]: Definitely not guaranteed.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_00]: If he does play, I don't think he starts off with like a huge workload by any means.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_00]: I think we're probably seeing him in like a 25% snap roll, something like that.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_00]: So he's going to go right into the rather not.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_00]: If anything, it just hurts Tony Pollard a little bit more.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_00]: Although Tony Pollard hasn't been doing much, so it's not like you can get overly excited about him regardless.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_00]: On the flip side, if you're not like really dialed in right now, you might not have heard that Tray Benson could be dealing with an injury right now.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_00]: Apparently, he picked something up at the end of the game, maybe an ankle injury, last week versus Seattle.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_00]: Now, that was played on Thursday and I football, so he's got a little bit of extra time to recover.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_00]: You love the match of this week.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_00]: I liked what I saw at a Benson last week, so he's going kind of right back into the border line feels good.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_00]: Mustard category right now, assuming that he ends up playing, so I'm probably going to
- 17:34[SPEAKER_00]: uh, at the bottom of this tier, but right on the border line of those two.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_00]: Now, if trade Benson surprisingly does not play, it's going to be some sort of split backfield between a Marty de Mercado and Michael Carter.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_00]: Last week, de Mercado played 41% of the SNAPs compared to trade Benson's 53% Michael Carter did not play much, only 6% of the SNAPs.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_00]: However, there's some report surfacing from Arizona beat reporters that if trade bans and does miss time, it's likely that Michael Carter takes over the lead role as the runner, as a mario macano kind of stays in the same pass catching role that he's been whenever he does play.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_00]: Now it's important because they're playing the titans who are like just a cake matchup for any running back that ends up getting out to the field with Tennessee.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_00]: So last year down the stretch,
- 18:13[SPEAKER_00]: when James Conner got hurt.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_00]: Now, Marty Marcado was not playing week 16, 17 or 18.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_00]: It was Michael Carter, who was the guy?
- 18:21[SPEAKER_00]: He caught five passes a week 16.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_00]: Then a week 17, 13 for 70 on the ground, two more catches.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_00]: In week 18, 17 carries on the ground, scores a touchdown another four passes.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_00]: So, I think Arizona's relatively comfortable with Michael Carter if they don't have their starting running back.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_00]: And I think, Marty Marcado gets a little bit of a lift to his floor, but remains in the past catching roll.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_00]: So throwing this in there, if Tray Benson is out, I'm actually going to throw Michael Carter in the Dubflex category.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be below most of these guys, but he's going to be above the shaky flex guys.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_00]: Like I do think Michael Carter has a nice floor workload.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_00]: I think the matchup is fantastic.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_00]: I think he'll catch some passes.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_00]: I think he'll get the goal on opportunities if they present themselves.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_00]: And then Demar Cato would be a shaky flex for me.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_00]: Only if Tray Benson misses, of course.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_00]: Moving to the next game, we've got Detroit at Cincinnati, Detroit 10 and a half point favorites.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, you mirror Gibbs is a must start.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_00]: I like the matchup a lot more for David Montgomery.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to continue to get touches.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, needs a touchdown to get home, but I mean, the game script is going to be wonderful.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_00]: The Cincinnati Bengals are horrendous, so I do think David Montgomery deserves to be at the bottom of the dub flex category.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_00]: After that, we're asking ourselves, what the fuck do we do with Chase Brown?
- 19:27[SPEAKER_00]: There's not much you can do at this point besides throwing them into the shaky flex category.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of you guys have to start him.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, this Detroit run defense is really good as you could see.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_00]: They are dead last in the EPA per rush allowed to the running back position.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_00]: They are very, very good against the ground game.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_00]: It's like does he catch enough checkdowns to make himself worthwhile in PPR leagues?
- 19:46[SPEAKER_00]: Probably not, but it is a 49 and a half point over under.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_00]: You have to think Jake Browning like eventually gets a little bit of his shit together, but I'm not optimistic from what we've seen the first couple weeks.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_00]: So if you need to, if you need to sit, Chase Brown, I got no problem with that.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_00]: Next up we got Washington at the Chargers, uh, this one's kind of simple.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_00]: I think you just ride the hot hand in Omar and Hampton right now coming off of last week's massive game versus the giants.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_00]: He looks good in all three phases.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_00]: He looks explosive.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_00]: He's catching passes.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he just, yeah, he looks really locked in right now on the flip side.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_00]: You're getting three guys who are playing 38% of the snaps all getting like 10 touches or fewer.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_00]: Rodriguez keeps getting the starts, but then JCM gets a series or two, whoever happens to be in during that series, and if that series ends up on the goal line, that player will probably get the goal line carry, McNickles is barely getting any work.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_00]: So to be honest with you, at this point, like one of them, yes, could have a good game, but
- 20:39[SPEAKER_00]: I think all three of them are just going to go into the rather not category for me.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_00]: You're in a bad spot if you've got to start one of the Washington runners though.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_00]: I will say, which endangels likely returning in week five, it gives them a little bit more upside probably more plays that they're going to get over all, but still very hard to start any of them without having any sort of clear direction where the backfield is going.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_00]: Next up, we got New England at Buffalo.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_00]: This is the Sunday night game.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_00]: James Cook, of course, goes right into the Mustart category.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_00]: They are seven and a half point favorites against his New England team 50 and a half point total.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_00]: With the New England backfield, despite all the fumbles and stuff in week four or week three, excuse me, there wasn't much that change.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_00]: Remodry's even since still like the 55 to 60% snap guy, Trayvon Henderson ended up getting into the end zone, but if he didn't get there, he was having another absolute floor stinker of a fantasy day.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_00]: Gibson also got some work down there.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_00]: So right now, I think Remodry and Trayvon are probably both shaky flex plays.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_00]: Moving to the Monday night football game.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_00]: We've got the chiefs at the Jacksonville Jaguars.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_00]: The chiefs are three and a half point favorites.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_00]: ETN looks awesome.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_00]: This chiefs run D is actually not been as advertised the last couple of years.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_00]: Bottom for an EPA per Russia loud.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_00]: To the running back position, they are ninth in fantasy points allowed.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_00]: To the running back position, I think Travis ETN.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_00]: Again, like Omar in Hampton just looks explosive, looks back to his old self and he's going to be right at the bottom of this must start category for me.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_00]: Baseball 2 is going to be, uh, he's just not getting enough work right now or rather not on the flip side.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you got Pacheco who finally scored a touchdown, but he doesn't look good.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_00]: Cremont's getting some early down work.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_00]: But Jacksonville's defense has been pretty legit this year.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_00]: So listen, if I've Pacheco, I've Cremont, rather not.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_00]: Besides, Smith is starting to get more and more involved, but he's still only around a 25%
- 22:17[SPEAKER_00]: That guy, I do think they're going to continue to get more and more involved.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_00]: So if he's on your waiver while he absolutely needs to be someone stashed at the end of your roster.
- 22:25[SPEAKER_00]: And honestly, I don't mind one of my favorite plays this week.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's sprinkling a little bit of juice on Brashard Smith any time touchdown.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're starting to like draw a place for him inside the 10-yard line passing plays where, you know, if he gets open, he's going to score a touchdown this week.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_00]: Well, there you have it.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_00]: We've got 15 plus 5 20 26.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_00]: They got 36.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_00]: We got 48 running backs ranked.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_00]: It's put it in poster mode for you.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_00]: So you could see everybody at once on the screen.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
