The Raven Scholar by Antonia Hodgson: Parts 1 and 2
DDDSpod has found a new obsession in The Raven Scholar by Antonia Hodgson, a deeply clever and original fantasy novel. This Hugo shortlist-ee has it all–animal-aligned magic, a locked room murder mystery, centuries-long history and a feisty heroine who doesn't grate on a single nerve, unlike most popular #booktok protagonists. It's so engrossing William couldn't stop himself from reading twice the required reading.
DDDSpod will be back next week with more (or all?) of The Raven Scholar.
