[SPEAKER_02]: It is you know this happened by the way your your public is actually is the same one that we had on range 15.
• 0:59
  [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, Stacey.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, she, um, I was like, I took her the other day.
• 1:02
[SPEAKER_04]: She was like, hey, you know, and I was like, man, yeah, no, I know of those guys.
• 1:06
[SPEAKER_04]: I've had a lot of friends through here.
• 1:08
[SPEAKER_02]: So well, and a lot of people have pitched you on the show and I'm like, hey, dude, I told Stacey, I was like, we're leaving on fucking Thursday.
• 1:14
[SPEAKER_02]: So I was like, well, dude, come on in and then just do the show and you because you're a local tax and you're a real one.
• 1:21
  [SPEAKER_04]: No, I'm a transplant to you.
• 1:23
  [SPEAKER_04]: I wasn't DC before here.
• 1:24
[SPEAKER_04]: But I've been here 20 years now 20 years.
• 1:26
[SPEAKER_02]: That's not like anything beyond that in Austin.
• 1:30
[SPEAKER_02]: To me is like, okay, cool.
• 1:31
  [SPEAKER_02]: You're good.
• 1:32
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you were here before all the sky rise and all the stuff going on down the wall before the Google sign was up over Zilker Park.
• 1:39
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you know, when it was cool.
• 1:40
[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, I shot my first movie here 26 years ago.
• 1:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Which is wild when it was still cool.
• 1:47
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, still cool.
• 1:48
[SPEAKER_02]: And none of that shit was here.
• 1:49
[SPEAKER_02]: So Google Facebook You know we work all that other bullshit wasn't here and it was a blast now I did get tricked into moving here less because every time I shot a film here It was in the fall
• 2:01
[SPEAKER_02]: Was it a hippie hollow?
• 2:03
[SPEAKER_02]: I had no idea how fucking yeah, we went to hippie hollow, but I had no idea how hot it was here And in the first year that I was here.
• 2:11
  [SPEAKER_02]: I was fucking stunned.
• 2:13
[SPEAKER_02]: I could not believe it because the three times that I'd been was all in the fall And it was all in late October to you know the end of the year so I was like man What a beautiful awesome magical place
• 2:25
[SPEAKER_02]: And then today, it's fucking 102 degrees.
• 2:28
[SPEAKER_02]: It's hot fucking end your life dude.
• 2:30
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I think that's what keeps a lot of people out of here.
• 2:32
[SPEAKER_04]: I remember when we first moved here, we walked up six straight to Congress and just the whole time just drenched.
• 2:40
[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm like, man, I don't know about this.
• 2:42
[SPEAKER_04]: Austin, yeah, we did so.
• 2:44
[SPEAKER_04]: But yeah, it's the fall, the winter's great.
• 2:47
  [SPEAKER_04]: Some are brutal.
• 2:47
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, my car said 108 when I drove out here.
• 2:49
[SPEAKER_04]: So, but yeah, it's Austin, man.
• 2:51
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, it's got its pros and cons.
• 2:53
  [SPEAKER_04]: It's got great.
• 2:54
[SPEAKER_02]: music and food and a lot of cool people and a lot of cool creative stuff happening here still so yeah and I'll miss all that like I do enjoy that and I do enjoy the people like you because look you've been here 20 plus years you're good you're real austinite but the other all the rest of us has been here you know we've been here six and a half and I still never felt like oh hey I'm a Texan
• 3:16
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I would hit up my friends and be like, hey, when they would say, do you like it here?
• 3:20
  [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like, I'm not a real toxin.
• 3:22
[SPEAKER_02]: And I feel bad for shading on the state, where it's just like, it's just not my thing.
• 3:26
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 3:26
[SPEAKER_02]: Whether the, I mean, do you see all this shit that I've got to stuff up my nose here?
• 3:30
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, allergies, everything.
• 3:32
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's, trust me, I'm with you.
• 3:34
  [SPEAKER_04]: I'm, I'm to the, I'm looking, like, I'm looking like,
• 3:37
[SPEAKER_04]: Alabama, Tennessee, I'm looking at South Carolina, I'm looking for something.
• 3:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, so you were looking to move?
• 3:41
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm looking to move too.
• 3:42
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm looking to move too.
• 3:43
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 3:43
  [SPEAKER_02]: Is it too expensive?
• 3:44
  [SPEAKER_02]: What's the fucking summary?
• 3:45
[SPEAKER_04]: No, just kind of change.
• 3:47
[SPEAKER_04]: And it's kind of, you know, I want to make a big change.
• 3:49
[SPEAKER_04]: I want to get some space.
• 3:50
[SPEAKER_04]: I want to get some land.
• 3:51
  [SPEAKER_04]: Do the whole thing.
• 3:52
  [SPEAKER_04]: Do get some land.
• 3:53
  [SPEAKER_04]: Build a little place.
• 3:53
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm expensive here to get land.
• 3:55
[SPEAKER_04]: Texas, people say, oh, it's expensive.
• 3:57
[SPEAKER_04]: Even outside of Austin, you can't get much and it's hot.
• 4:00
  [SPEAKER_04]: It's dry.
• 4:01
[SPEAKER_04]: Like I looked at a big bend area, you know, cool, but you're out in the desert, man.
• 4:06
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, you can get a lot of land up there, but there's no water and it's hot and well, that's not an escape.
• 4:11
[SPEAKER_04]: That's no way to live either.
• 4:12
[SPEAKER_04]: So yeah, I'm looking around too.
• 4:14
[SPEAKER_04]: Texas is cool, but it's it's also getting packed, you know, Dallas, San Antonio.
• 4:18
  [SPEAKER_02]: Holy shit.
• 4:19
[SPEAKER_02]: He's the worst track I've ever been in.
• 4:20
[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, I don't know what you want to do.
• 4:21
[SPEAKER_02]: They're all out there and it's like it's stuck in hours and hours of traffic.
• 4:24
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's like I hate this.
• 4:25
[SPEAKER_02]: I was going like eight miles.
• 4:26
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but these will be last day that I hope we use one of these on camera and actually
• 4:31
[SPEAKER_02]: coup, you can actually leave the camera on me.
• 4:33
[SPEAKER_02]: So what people can't see is because I usually football the monitors, it just sprays up.
• 4:38
[SPEAKER_02]: And the one more, as a fifth for good luck, to kind of clear out the allergies and whatever bullshit is some fucking allergy, magic medication, and some other stupid shit.
• 4:46
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, oh my god, I just want to leave this in a fucking box and never look back.
• 4:51
[SPEAKER_02]: But as I'm looking at this state and the changes that are going on in the states, I want to ask you, because you've been here so long.
• 5:01
[SPEAKER_02]: getting built and getting pitched.
• 5:03
[SPEAKER_02]: And then you go to, uh, let's say a fucking, do you get a Costco like a normal person?
• 5:07
  [SPEAKER_04]: I can't.
• 5:08
[SPEAKER_02]: I will lose my mind.
• 5:09
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's insane.
• 5:11
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 5:11
[SPEAKER_02]: It's all fucking, you feel like you're in an, an authorable country there.
• 5:15
[SPEAKER_02]: And I've never seen you like it.
• 5:16
  [SPEAKER_02]: And we're, let's face it.
• 5:18
[SPEAKER_02]: Austin is a very rich city.
• 5:20
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I am stunned to see what this place has become.
• 5:23
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, um, it's just like anywhere, you know, I've lived all over Europe as well, Rome, what's Spain, places I used to love to go now, the last time I visit is like being in, oh, I feel like I'm in parts of Algeria, or parts of even Somalia in some areas, what used to say, uh, Threatoria, the Italia was now Threatoria de Chinesia, or Simalia, like the whole dynamics change and it's happening here too.
• 5:50
  [SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
• 5:50
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, we're going to
• 5:53
[SPEAKER_04]: And you feel like the outsider, even here in Lakeway, and as you know Austin is very predominantly white outplace of Texas, but I'm seeing here in Lakeway now, there's, you know, whatever it is, what it is, there's Indian markets, and I love Indian food, but there's whole, when they put up a grocery store for a certain dynamic, that means that dynamic is moving into that area.
• 6:14
[SPEAKER_02]: Correct, and then that's all you're going to see in that area.
• 6:17
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and for you, let's go, let's go in your background here.
• 6:20
  [SPEAKER_02]: You're in the military.
• 6:21
  [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, what'd you do?
• 6:22
[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, I was in a Marine Corps for six years.
• 6:24
[SPEAKER_04]: I went in, um, you know, typical Marine, right from, from, from, from jail to open contract to, uh, they put me a motor to use.
• 6:30
  [SPEAKER_04]: I drove trucks.
• 6:32
[SPEAKER_04]: Um, and then I got into the Marine Security Guard program.
• 6:35
[SPEAKER_04]: So I did embassy security and Rome and, uh, Yemen.
• 6:39
[SPEAKER_04]: did that for three years, got out, went back to Italy to go to school, so I studied art history philosophy and business in Rome.
• 6:48
  [SPEAKER_02]: No shit.
• 6:49
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that was dope by that.
• 6:50
  [SPEAKER_04]: American University, yeah.
• 6:52
[SPEAKER_04]: First veteran to attend that school, they didn't know what the GI Bill was, they're like, what is that was like shit.
• 6:56
[SPEAKER_04]: So, did they accept it?
• 6:58
[SPEAKER_04]: I took me about a year of fighting to get that to happen, but, you know, in that time I was working in bars, gyms, clubs, movie sets, I worked on passion of the Christ with Jim Koviesol.
• 7:07
[SPEAKER_02]: I got the fuck up.
• 7:08
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah.
• 7:09
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, shit.
• 7:09
  [SPEAKER_02]: Let's get into Chittaya.
• 7:11
[SPEAKER_02]: So, dude, I got pitch Koviesol yesterday.
• 7:13
  [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, dude, yeah, he's he's a bud man.
• 7:16
[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, yo, come on the show, I'm good.
• 7:18
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we'll do it.
• 7:19
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, he's hilarious and weird.
• 7:22
  [SPEAKER_02]: Everything else is weird.
• 7:23
  [SPEAKER_02]: He's weird as shit, he's a little show.
• 7:24
  [SPEAKER_02]: I go, we're about to move.
• 7:25
[SPEAKER_02]: So I go, give me a couple of days and then we'll get Kv's on the show and I'm going to get you.
• 7:29
[SPEAKER_04]: But, but yeah, when I was, when I was working with him on that, I was just training for that.
• 7:35
[SPEAKER_04]: So, you trained Kv's overpassion the Christ?
• 7:37
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I was a personal trainer for that show.
• 7:39
  [SPEAKER_02]: Shot the fuck up.
• 7:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, what do you say?
• 7:41
  [SPEAKER_04]: Roman Slash Center.
• 7:42
[SPEAKER_02]: What do you say, eat less and then in between some given him bread and wine?
• 7:46
[SPEAKER_04]: You know what, he was a trip man?
• 7:47
[SPEAKER_04]: He was so in part, even when we're working out, deadless, whatever we're doing, and he couldn't do much because his shoulder was still messed up from G.I.J.
• 7:55
[SPEAKER_04]: and he ripped it on a training exercise when he did.
• 7:59
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
• 8:00
[SPEAKER_01]: Suffice it to say, Jim Kaveezo was shredded.
• 8:02
[SPEAKER_01]: Look, it passed, yeah, you need a great job.
• 8:04
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, a kid, his body is so disciplined, though, bro.
• 8:08
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I was in this trailer when they put on his makeup
• 8:12
[SPEAKER_02]: But what was that like because for years on this show, by the way, we have had a standard joke and Bob, if you can pull it up, it's Mel Gibson talking to Kavizl, giving him notes it video.
• 8:23
  [SPEAKER_01]: The meme.
• 8:24
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 8:25
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's the greatest thing of all time.
• 8:27
[SPEAKER_02]: I posted it a very, very long time ago before it wasn't me, I just posted the picture.
• 8:31
  [SPEAKER_02]: Because I always wondered,
• 8:34
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he's covered in blood and he's fucking whipped to shit.
• 8:36
[SPEAKER_02]: There it is right there.
• 8:37
[SPEAKER_04]: No Gibson did that with spray bottles of red spray, like, just spray in the bathroom.
• 8:41
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 8:42
[SPEAKER_02]: And so like, here's the other irony of this, by the way, which is wild, and I've got chills, think it about it.
• 8:47
[SPEAKER_02]: They wrap production yesterday on the second one.
• 8:49
  [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
• 8:50
  [SPEAKER_02]: So they're done.
• 8:51
[SPEAKER_02]: So in this, when, when, let's pop out that picture moment time above.
• 8:56
[SPEAKER_02]: If he's in character, and he's talking to him, and he said he's in character when he's working out and all this other shits, what does that mean?
• 9:03
[SPEAKER_02]: Is he speaking an air-mak?
• 9:05
[SPEAKER_04]: It was, he was so, he told me the story when he was, when he was trying to make it in Hollywood, he was working at restaurants, nothing was happening.
• 9:13
[SPEAKER_04]: He just played basketball in high school, and it was fell out of that and his teacher told him take drama, so he took it, ended up in Hollywood.
• 9:21
[SPEAKER_04]: to try to get into movies and he's working at a restaurant to send the other he goes to a movie a camera which won and he said he stayed in the theater after everybody left and he just prayed he prayed he said God I need a sign he was you know he was going through a lot of hard times and next day he got a call to do put for acting he was acting yeah gotcha
• 9:42
[SPEAKER_04]: And then the next day, a kind of money crystal, they got called to do that film.
• 9:46
[SPEAKER_04]: And then he, you know, from there, his career took off.
• 9:48
[SPEAKER_04]: So from that point, he dedicated him his life to that.
• 9:52
  [SPEAKER_04]: And to Christ.
• 9:53
[SPEAKER_04]: So when he was in, when we were there in Rome and training, he was talking as Jesus.
• 9:58
[SPEAKER_04]: He was the same age.
• 10:00
[SPEAKER_04]: He was the same initials.
• 10:02
[SPEAKER_02]: He was in the 33, 33, the same old thing.
• 10:05
  [SPEAKER_02]: All the whole thing.
• 10:06
[SPEAKER_04]: So he felt it was his calling.
• 10:09
[SPEAKER_04]: And so he was in part during our training sessions and very kind, very good to me.
• 10:17
[SPEAKER_04]: I was 24, whatever, 25, just hustling, try to make it.
• 10:21
[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, come out to the movie, said, you know, got to go out to the set for that last part, seeing put on the makeup and the trailer took hours, putting on all the flesh and everything.
• 10:30
[SPEAKER_02]: So, but but as he's talking to you, is he speaking in air mag?
• 10:34
  [SPEAKER_02]: And I'm being honest.
• 10:35
[SPEAKER_04]: Not necessarily, no, I mean, but he was,
• 10:37
[SPEAKER_04]: not air mag, but in some parts he would put that in, but he was his essence, his energy, everything was in part of Jesus Christ.
• 10:46
  [SPEAKER_04]: Sure.
• 10:47
[SPEAKER_04]: So, you know, and I was still kind of joking around, and I didn't
• 10:51
[SPEAKER_04]: I've learned a lot more in life and I've been to the shroud and tour and I've been to Jerusalem.
• 10:56
[SPEAKER_04]: I've been to all the places I've been throughout the Vatican.
• 11:00
[SPEAKER_04]: But I didn't know as much about it, then it's heated.
• 11:03
[SPEAKER_04]: So I took this all this is cool, whatever, but for him it was a true calling.
• 11:07
[SPEAKER_04]: And that's why it was so passionate about it and as was Mel Gibson.
• 11:11
[SPEAKER_04]: And I was just, you know, I was just lucky enough to be.
• 11:13
[SPEAKER_04]: somebody his, um, handler, whatever they're, yeah, yeah, yeah, it's like, hey, we need a guide, personal trainer assistant, whatever you want to call it.
• 11:21
[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm like the only American guy in this freaking Roman gym because I was lucky enough that the guy gave me a job, um, and then they just came back from Rome, by the way, it was the, the sequel just shot in Rome.
• 11:32
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, Chinatia Tau, yeah, so at this, uh,
• 11:35
[SPEAKER_04]: The scene or where they filmed it, they had a passion of Christ set and then right next to that was Gaines of New York, so you're looking at the set of passion of Christ, you know, and then you look over here, it's the Bay of it's New York and you have a two of the biggest method actors next to each other of all time.
• 11:53
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, and we would bounce into the deluess and fucking to give these.
• 11:57
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, deluess, he's my favorite actor.
• 11:58
  [SPEAKER_02]: Same.
• 11:59
[SPEAKER_02]: Did you meet him too?
• 12:00
[SPEAKER_04]: I did not get to meet him.
• 12:01
[SPEAKER_04]: No, I met Russell Crowe when he did a gladiator at the gym in Ukraine.
• 12:07
[SPEAKER_02]: You know what the funniest part about Hollywood used to be is if you were shooting and moving the same town.
• 12:12
[SPEAKER_02]: usually the producers would get together and then have a cast meet-up to have dinners.
• 12:16
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
• 12:16
[SPEAKER_02]: And so we got to do that here with the first movie and I've never been a part of something like this and it kind of made it everybody feel like a community.
• 12:25
[SPEAKER_02]: Bob, there was a Western shooting with Colin Ferrell.
• 12:27
[SPEAKER_02]: So it was me Colin Ferrell.
• 12:29
  [SPEAKER_01]: He's a real actor too, man.
• 12:30
  [SPEAKER_01]: I know.
• 12:30
  [SPEAKER_01]: Colin Ferrell.
• 12:31
[SPEAKER_01]: And then the Jesse James Jackson.
• 12:32
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
• 12:33
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
• 12:33
  [SPEAKER_02]: Josh Jackson.
• 12:34
  [SPEAKER_02]: American Outlaws.
• 12:34
  [SPEAKER_02]: That's it.
• 12:35
[SPEAKER_02]: And so that's why Ash is like they would
• 12:39
[SPEAKER_02]: kind of have these dinners for everybody and then you'd hang out go to the bars afterwards and everything else.
• 12:43
[SPEAKER_02]: So that way if you bumped into Numan Town or the biggest reason for it, which I found it afterwards, was if you were in the crew.
• 12:49
[SPEAKER_02]: and you were trying to get somebody else a job and if something was lasting longer and they'd help them all that other shit, you at least knew the people and you'd be like, hey man, can you put it in a good word for me to get onto this next day?
• 13:00
  [SPEAKER_02]: And I love that.
• 13:01
[SPEAKER_04]: It's so true, and it's so, they had a dinner when they closed that film down, they had a little time in restaurant with just the main cast, Monica Boulouci, and Mel Gibson, the main cast, the Jim of course,
• 13:16
[SPEAKER_04]: And it was like on the Thursday night or something.
• 13:18
[SPEAKER_04]: And I remember vividly, and I was working because I'd go to school then I'd go to work at the gym.
• 13:23
[SPEAKER_04]: And I remember, and I had it invite.
• 13:24
[SPEAKER_04]: They'd like, hey, come to the dinner.
• 13:25
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like, dude, no way.
• 13:27
[SPEAKER_04]: Like, how cool was this?
• 13:29
[SPEAKER_04]: And was it the last supper?
• 13:31
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm sorry.
• 13:32
  [SPEAKER_02]: I had to Bob.
• 13:33
  [SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry.
• 13:34
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's good.
• 13:34
  [SPEAKER_02]: That was good.
• 13:35
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I had to do that here, and I want to apologize to everybody.
• 13:38
[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, no, it's kind of I'm sure there was that theme in there.
• 13:40

  [SPEAKER_04]: I was so sick.
• 14:11
  [SPEAKER_04]: I missed it.
• 14:12
  [SPEAKER_04]: I did not go.

[SPEAKER_04]: You need to go to the rap party of passion of the crisis.
• 14:14
  [SPEAKER_04]: No, dude.
• 14:15
[SPEAKER_04]: This is, and this is, I was so, I was like shooting my pants, bro.

  [SPEAKER_02]: Are you kidding?
• 14:20
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 14:20
[SPEAKER_02]: I would have typed up.

[SPEAKER_02]: I tried to do it.
• 14:22
  [SPEAKER_02]: Typer on set.
• 14:23
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I would have typed up, bro.
• 14:25
[SPEAKER_04]: What's funny is like three to four nights later.
• 14:27
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm down because rooms a small town, two in certain areas.
• 14:29
[SPEAKER_04]: I was down by the depths of the Spania.
• 14:31
[SPEAKER_04]: and Jim's hotel was down there and down there walking and the dude comes up from behind me was rain and he tasked me on his shoulder and it was Jim, like with a hoodie, he's like, what did you come to the dinner and I was like dude, you know, it was this piece of shit.
• 14:43
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but it was just a cool experience and like you said, it's very, it's, you know, people that know certain people and I've been blessed to be able to work a little bit in that industry.
• 14:53
[SPEAKER_04]: Mike, number one, my number one supporter for
• 14:57
[SPEAKER_04]: Rog American and probably invader is Tom Hardy.
• 15:00
[SPEAKER_04]: He buys more products than anybody on our list.
• 15:03
[SPEAKER_04]: He's visited my store and for a brag.
• 15:06
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, like, have you, did you do a movie with Tom Hardy?
• 15:09
  [SPEAKER_02]: No, I have not.
• 15:10
  [SPEAKER_02]: He's just a fan of yours.
• 15:11
  [SPEAKER_04]: He's a, he's my, I guess so I got the shoe jewel.
• 15:13
[SPEAKER_04]: Whenever I get a huge order, like a huge order, I'm like, who is this guy?
• 15:17
[SPEAKER_04]: And I look at Tom Hardy London.
• 15:19
[SPEAKER_04]: No, fuck yeah, so I'm like now this can't be the dude.
• 15:22
[SPEAKER_02]: So I was the ordering we'll pull it up on screen here was you ordered a new rogue American bunch of clothes.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah Please move the rogue American on on the website there and was he asking to do it to wear them in the film itself for just hitting it He just he just bought a bunch of stuff
• 15:38
  [SPEAKER_04]: And um, way.
• 15:39
  [SPEAKER_04]: So I hit up.
• 15:40
[SPEAKER_04]: I have friends SS guys in London.
• 15:41
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like, hey, is this the dude?
• 15:43
  [SPEAKER_04]: They're like, yeah, I made that's Thomas.
• 15:44
[SPEAKER_04]: So I put a note in his order.
• 15:46
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like, dude, thanks for the order.
• 15:47
[SPEAKER_04]: Bob, Bob, I bought his my number.
• 15:49
[SPEAKER_04]: And he messes with me.
• 15:50
[SPEAKER_04]: He's like, I made love your stuff.
• 15:51
[SPEAKER_04]: So I ended up doing collaborations with him and his foundation re-org.
• 15:56
[SPEAKER_04]: They all the British Marines came out here to Austin hung out.
• 15:59
[SPEAKER_04]: And it's just, you know, it's crazy, man.
• 16:01
[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I've been a blessed to be able to meet some cool people, but if I think if you're doing the right things, and sometimes the right place the right time, things align, you know, and I've been very blessed that way, you know?
• 16:13
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 16:14
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, um, scroll down to his site here, put that live on screen here.
• 16:18
[SPEAKER_02]: We'll help you out at some more of that weekend here.
• 16:20
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I had a coffee too.
• 16:22
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and Vader's name was name of the coffee and Vader coffee.
• 16:25
  [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
• 16:25
  [SPEAKER_02]: Great.
• 16:26
  [SPEAKER_04]: So check out invaders.
• 16:27
  [SPEAKER_04]: It's air roasted.
• 16:28
[SPEAKER_04]: So it's low acidic and it's just smooth, bold coffee.
• 16:32
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's awesome.
• 16:33
[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously we did black rifle, but yeah, great coffee too, man.
• 16:36
  [SPEAKER_02]: Totally.
• 16:36
[SPEAKER_02]: And that's where we tell people like,
• 16:38
[SPEAKER_02]: When people say, oh, man, there's this other thing.
• 16:40
[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, hey, dude, there's plenty of fucking coffee out in the world for everybody here.
• 16:44
  [SPEAKER_02]: The pizza's a big, man.
• 16:46
[SPEAKER_02]: And then, everybody, and everything else, man.
• 16:47
[SPEAKER_02]: So they do get stuff, you know, I'll promote anybody else's coffee.
• 16:51
  [SPEAKER_02]: I don't care.
• 16:52
  [SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't matter, man.
• 16:53
[SPEAKER_04]: And it's like, you know, so it's, uh, I've been blessed at wind, and it's open up other doors.
• 16:58
[SPEAKER_04]: I just got to do a film myself with Johnny Strong.
• 17:01
  [SPEAKER_04]: He did, um,
• 17:02
[SPEAKER_04]: He was in Blackhawk down, he was one of the operators, and then he did the Fast and Furious, really cool, really creative, amazing guy.
• 17:09
[SPEAKER_04]: He worked with Tom on Blackhawk down as well.
• 17:13
[SPEAKER_04]: And it's a source, but I think, up with him, man, and he's like, hey, I got this guy, I need his character.
• 17:19
  [SPEAKER_04]: I'm like, dude, I don't know that, I don't know.
• 17:21
[SPEAKER_04]: He's like, no, I think you could,
• 17:23
[SPEAKER_04]: So he sends me the sketch and everything in the guide and some lines.
• 17:26
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like fuck, I think we have flat off.
• 17:28
[SPEAKER_04]: So you know, this was two years ago and we practiced and we went out and filmed out in Utah and man it was a such a blast just everybody on the crew and the staff and the other actors and the creative behind it.
• 17:42
[SPEAKER_04]: Um, for me, what was cool was like, okay, you know, life is, you can open up your mind into other things you want to try and do and it's just cool.
• 17:51
[SPEAKER_04]: You meet all these new people and you've learned a lot about yourself and you say, you know what?
• 17:55
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, just like, Steve McQueen said he's like, it's not a job.
• 17:58
  [SPEAKER_04]: He's like, you're just acting.
• 17:59
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, just like, you can find very true.
• 18:02
[SPEAKER_04]: To not overthink it and, you know, some guys do it really well and I was, I was telling Johnny, he's like, no.
• 18:08
[SPEAKER_04]: Just slow his glasses, he would say, you know, and we went through the lines, and then Tom helped me out with a bunch of lines.
• 18:14
[SPEAKER_04]: He videoed a bunch of stuff back to me.
• 18:16
[SPEAKER_04]: I'll show you after, yeah.
• 18:18
[SPEAKER_04]: Tell Hardy himself to them?
• 18:19
  [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah.
• 18:20
[SPEAKER_04]: I have all the videos of him giving me classes, man.
• 18:22
[SPEAKER_04]: That is, you know, which I don't put up, I don't do it.
• 18:25
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I have to never lose to this heart, man.
• 18:28
  [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, dude, real deal.
• 18:29
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I, he following Instagram, he only has, well, he doesn't turn comments or likes on her any of that shit.
• 18:35
  [SPEAKER_04]: Which is private.
• 18:37
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 18:38
[SPEAKER_02]: And by the way, that makes you more mysterious, therefore, I'm a huge Tom Hardy fan.
• 18:43
  [SPEAKER_02]: I will do.
• 18:44
  [SPEAKER_02]: I will do.
• 18:44
[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he sings a real good thing.
• 18:46
[SPEAKER_02]: But also, I don't know anything about his personal life.
• 18:47
  [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
• 18:48
  [SPEAKER_04]: He's a, what's cool about him?
• 18:49
[SPEAKER_04]: He, he doesn't care about, he's, well, I know that.
• 18:51
[SPEAKER_02]: It's the first interview he did, like when you, you know, whatever your first movie is, they make you go and do a bunch of interviews, he said he took another man into his mouth.
• 18:59
[SPEAKER_02]: And they were like, whoa, you can't say that.
• 19:02
[SPEAKER_02]: We're trying to build you up to be an action star, but it was just like what I was in the theater.
• 19:05
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, and he made a joke about it, but it was like, okay, cool.
• 19:09
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, let's just see you be an actor now at this point.
• 19:11
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, sometimes with him, you don't know.
• 19:12
[SPEAKER_04]: He likes to fuck with people, he'll say stuff or you don't know.
• 19:16
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, if that's true or false?
• 19:17
  [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no, man.
• 19:18
[SPEAKER_04]: He is a mess with minds, dude.
• 19:20
[SPEAKER_02]: What if he's dead and then he's just living off that line forever?
• 19:24
  [SPEAKER_04]: You don't know, man.
• 19:25
[SPEAKER_04]: But a true kind, haunted person that takes in what I love.
• 19:29
  [SPEAKER_04]: He loves the underdog.
• 19:30
[SPEAKER_04]: He loves the one struggling.
• 19:31
[SPEAKER_04]: He loves the ones that are also trying to do good things.
• 19:35
[SPEAKER_04]: with that not a lot of assets behind them.
• 19:37
[SPEAKER_02]: You know what I mean and he supports that and he's doing all these just returnments all over.
• 19:41
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm not kidding.
• 19:42
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he's getting ready to go on this weekend I think so it's not Yeah, I work with it.
• 19:47
[SPEAKER_04]: So his foundation is called re-org.
• 19:49
[SPEAKER_04]: It's for the British Royal Marines and a lot of other military law enforcement in the UK
• 19:57
[SPEAKER_04]: that take them and put them in, you just use a way to deal with, you know, their different issues, PTS, what have you versus taking out called drugs, all the other things.
• 20:07
  [SPEAKER_04]: Sure.
• 20:07
[SPEAKER_04]: So they all came to Austin, hung out, they come to my shop.
• 20:10
[SPEAKER_04]: We all hung out with all of British Roy and Marines of that group.
• 20:14
[SPEAKER_04]: And then we start working with the U.S. side, which is Weedify.
• 20:20
[SPEAKER_04]: which is the same program, but it's here in the U.S. We need to fight, re-work, check those two organizations out if you want to support goodness.
• 20:26
  [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
• 20:28
  [SPEAKER_04]: Great program.
• 20:28
[SPEAKER_04]: So, and then in those programs, you need all cool, real guys, you know, trying to do stuff and trying to support each other.
• 20:36
[SPEAKER_04]: So, when you're having times, man, they reach out, vice versa, just, you know.
• 20:41
[SPEAKER_02]: No, and it's all awesome, man.
• 20:42
[SPEAKER_02]: And again, it's Memorial Day weekends, and it's coming up here.
• 20:46
[SPEAKER_02]: And I just want to ask you how you got 300,000 followers.
• 20:49
  [SPEAKER_02]: Instagram.
• 20:50
[SPEAKER_04]: Man, dude, you don't shit on all of my hand, bro, come on.
• 20:53
  [SPEAKER_04]: I'm kidding, I'm nobody.
• 20:54
  [SPEAKER_04]: Well, here's not that.
• 20:56
[SPEAKER_02]: But when listeners pitch guests, usually it's like, all right, they get 54 people or something like that.
• 21:02
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and sometimes it doesn't matter, like I've learned, like, but it does in business, you know, help.
• 21:07
[SPEAKER_04]: So being in a lot of events, being in a lot of, same with Arnold Schwarzenegger, when I go to the Arnold, guess who comes to my booth, the smallest booth there, we know, he comes our booth hangs out.
• 21:16
  [SPEAKER_02]: Why is that?
• 21:19
[SPEAKER_04]: Bro, so that one happened when I first started my business, I'd go to the Arnold to up a little Coleman 10 in Columbus, Ohio, and as I was growing, as I was growing, you know, I didn't have the Arnold classic.
• 21:32
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's a great event.
• 21:33
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's crazy.
• 21:34
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's crazy.
• 21:35
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think people understand how massive it is.
• 21:36
  [SPEAKER_04]: It's massive.
• 21:38
[SPEAKER_04]: But I'm a nobody there at the time.
• 21:40
[SPEAKER_04]: And as I'm growing a foundation that deals with the called SAR, some assembly required adaptive athletes that want to go to Arnold compete, they contacted all the big boy companies, not one reply, of course, because they're not big, beautiful athletes, you know, this, that and the other.
• 21:58
[SPEAKER_04]: Dell King who runs it, he contacted me, he said, would you be interested in helping sponsor and getting these guys to the Arnold?
• 22:04
[SPEAKER_04]: I said, man, I don't have much, but yeah, let's see what we can do.
• 22:07
  [SPEAKER_04]: We made it happen.
• 22:08
[SPEAKER_04]: We got him to the Arnold.
• 22:10
[SPEAKER_04]: They are put in the corner of the cross-finari to compete against full body, but what ended up being one of the biggest shows there, everybody's going to check them out.
• 22:20
  [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
• 22:20
[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm friends with one of the Arnold's security guys.
• 22:23
[SPEAKER_04]: I come from that world, so that's a very small... Yeah, you're built like a brick shit house, dude.
• 22:26
[SPEAKER_04]: Well, no, that doesn't matter.
• 22:28
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, for the audio listeners, they can't see you right now.
• 22:30
[SPEAKER_04]: So, I put on some way.
• 22:31
[SPEAKER_02]: I put on some way.
• 22:32
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like Jesus Christ from a pair of a man, dude.
• 22:35
[SPEAKER_04]: So, I grew up on him, man.
• 22:38
[SPEAKER_04]: but was who Arnold goes over there and pulls his phone out and he's like oh my god this is the coolest one guy doing pushups with no legs or burpees with no legs and this and other and he's filming all this.
• 22:49
[SPEAKER_04]: So I brought all his attention to sawer who was a nobody, none of the big companies he responded to their emails.
• 22:55
[SPEAKER_04]: And Arnold got really into it, he's writing all the athletes to dinner and all this stuff so he kind of got involved with that guy.
• 23:01
[SPEAKER_04]: I got eyeballs on sawer.
• 23:04
[SPEAKER_04]: and the people like who's involved with them.
• 23:06
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, this guy, this guy, okay, Wes, this guy, and all some people start following him, and you know, and to me, it's the right kind of people.
• 23:12
[SPEAKER_02]: Right, and when you say right kind of people, it's us.
• 23:16
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, man.
• 23:17
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's groups like us.
• 23:18
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's never had a problem with one.
• 23:20
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, and we've never had a problem with a veteran, a listener, anything over the years over the last 11 years, and like for a show this big,
• 23:27
[SPEAKER_02]: for 11 consecutive years to be in the top four.
• 23:29
  [SPEAKER_04]: No, that's yeah.
• 23:30
[SPEAKER_02]: We do live shows every fucking day.
• 23:32
[SPEAKER_02]: We've never had one goddamn issue here.
• 23:35
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's a miracle, like a for real.
• 23:37
  [SPEAKER_04]: It is.
• 23:37
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, that long, and with that many big energy type of guys and girls, but what I found, and I've worked with a lot of different groups from music to movies, just that and the other.
• 23:48
[SPEAKER_04]: It just doesn't look good, but I've been in those with billionaires all of it.
• 23:52
[SPEAKER_04]: the coolest and realist community in my opinion is this one that will that truly have your back that would true anytime I've had if I've done an event at my place to hear wards music fundraisers or send the other and I'm like hey man put it out there we need help with parking cars or whatever who's the first people to show me and it's always like always veterans they blow up hey what do you need what can help you with every single time you know so it's such a cool
• 24:22
[SPEAKER_02]: loyal and real community, and it's a great foundation for life.
• 24:28
[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I learned as a kid, so like most of them, almost all my family's military.
• 24:32
[SPEAKER_02]: There's a lot of people ask me why I'm involved with drinking bros and rancers, you know, all that other stuff, and it's because my most of my entire family is military and I grew up in it.
• 24:42
[SPEAKER_02]: Now at the time that, you know, I was getting out of high school and so nothing was going on in the world.
• 24:47
[SPEAKER_02]: being in the military wasn't even a thought, and also I get in a million football scholarships out of that.
• 24:51
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's cool.
• 24:52
[SPEAKER_02]: So he's like, I had no, I was like, all right, quiet.
• 24:54
[SPEAKER_02]: I already knew what I was doing.
• 24:55
[SPEAKER_04]: And to that, it's not like, I will get people like, well, we're not veterans.
• 24:57
  [SPEAKER_04]: Can we?
• 24:58
[SPEAKER_04]: Hell, yes, I'm a patriot and totally.
• 25:01
[SPEAKER_04]: It's, they're the same type, it's just the same mindset.
• 25:03
  [SPEAKER_02]: So mindset.
• 25:04
[SPEAKER_02]: And like, that's, my kids, we got some sponsors to put this shit wagon on the air first and foremost, first form.com.

• 27:37
[SPEAKER_02]: We all don't eat the way we need to work out the way we need to on a daily basis.
• 27:42
[SPEAKER_02]: However, it is important to get the essential vitamins inside of us on a daily basis.
• 27:47
[SPEAKER_02]: And that's what the microfactors provide.

• 35:08
[SPEAKER_04]: And just in general, those type of guys, and Johnny said, that's why I like, cause they don't complain, I need a break and all this shit.
• 35:16
[SPEAKER_04]: These dudes will keep going, bro.
• 35:18
[SPEAKER_02]: And if you don't step in and say something, they'll just keep going and you're like, hey, I know you need help.
• 35:23
[SPEAKER_04]: That's what I was like telling the, because they don't know, I'm like dude, he's not gonna say it, but I know he's in pain.
• 35:28
[SPEAKER_04]: Like let's take a, you know, rights.
• 35:30
[SPEAKER_02]: I remember, I took one of my best friends as a guy named Derek Whitea.
• 35:34

• 35:36
[SPEAKER_04]: I met him years ago at an Florida for a van.
• 35:39
  [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, great guy.
• 35:40
[SPEAKER_02]: He's the best, and so I'm in Vegas.
• 35:41
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm doing this gig, and I got an extra ticket for the Stanley Cup finals.
• 35:45
[SPEAKER_02]: As I did interview the president at the day before of the Golden Knights.
• 35:49
[SPEAKER_02]: And I said, hey, I call him and go Derek, you're the only person I know who lives in Vegas.
• 35:53
[SPEAKER_02]: And I was like, do you want to do it?
• 35:54
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to do like hockey.
• 35:55
[SPEAKER_02]: Do you want to go to the Stanley Cup final someday?
• 35:57
[SPEAKER_02]: And there's, are you fucking kidding?
• 35:58
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's like a love hockey.
• 36:00
  [SPEAKER_02]: I love that girl.
• 36:01
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but that stadium, the way it's built.
• 36:03
  [SPEAKER_02]: And I love it.
• 36:04
[SPEAKER_02]: I've said this in the show for years.
• 36:05
[SPEAKER_02]: How much I love that stadium.
• 36:06
  [SPEAKER_02]: It's built like a gladiator stadium.
• 36:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Straight up, Derek Smith's in a leg.
• 36:10
[SPEAKER_02]: And man, it is hard to fucking maneuver for people with two legs, let alone one.
• 36:16
[SPEAKER_02]: And so I see that he's kind of struggling.
• 36:17
[SPEAKER_02]: And I just, you know, up in my arm around him, I'm like, hey, let me help you out here.
• 36:20
  [SPEAKER_02]: And he doesn't know.
• 36:22
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want anybody to see that I'm struggling.
• 36:23
[SPEAKER_02]: And it goes, I'm gonna be able to walk out of here, now it goes when we get out of here.
• 36:27
[SPEAKER_02]: They can put Charmer on me, help me in the fucking gap.
• 36:30
  [SPEAKER_04]: All right, cool.
• 36:30
[SPEAKER_04]: Those dudes are hard, man.
• 36:31
  [SPEAKER_02]: No shit.
• 36:32
  [SPEAKER_02]: That's what I tried.
• 36:33
[SPEAKER_02]: And you're like, okay, I get it, man.
• 36:36
  [SPEAKER_04]: And then you're like, what can I, I can't complain, like, you know, I certainly can't.
• 36:40
[SPEAKER_04]: It's like, we used to do so many workouts with those guys.
• 36:43
[SPEAKER_04]: And I was like, fuck, man, my back of this, and I'm like, dude, that dude literally, I know.
• 36:47
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, so to me, it's inspiring, though, they are inspiring to me, because what they can overcome
• 36:53
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I like your Hogan belt back there sure is I just watch the documentary on that was how good was that it was very good I watched it all one city.
• 37:01
  [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
• 37:02
  [SPEAKER_02]: Can I can't say it's dirty sicker.
• 37:03
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I watched it was That's very dirty bro.
• 37:07
[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't know you're not way I watched all in one night.
• 37:10
  [SPEAKER_02]: I love Hogan.
• 37:11
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it was done well.
• 37:13
  [SPEAKER_02]: It wasn't cheesy.
• 37:14
[SPEAKER_02]: We swear with this close I don't know hardy of salsa flavor with them and I talked to him up until three weeks before he died but
• 37:20
[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, I didn't have to do with why I wanted to watch the doc, but so like I knew him and he was a genuine awesome dude like for real and like real conversations we were just like
• 37:30
[SPEAKER_02]: Man, you just felt like you were talking to another friend and I didn't know this guy, you know, and I just kind of met him.
• 37:35
[SPEAKER_04]: I think that's why he was so popular and embarrassed.
• 37:38
[SPEAKER_02]: I think he was related to that.
• 37:39
[SPEAKER_02]: And when you watch it, that's why they were like the truth.
• 37:41
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, signed autograph, Trump is the exact same way.
• 37:44
[SPEAKER_02]: It will stay in sign autographs.
• 37:45
  [SPEAKER_02]: So take pictures.
• 37:46
  [SPEAKER_02]: They'll do everything.
• 37:47
[SPEAKER_02]: And they were just genuine fucking people.
• 37:49
[SPEAKER_02]: And that's why his story was so fascinating.
• 37:52
[SPEAKER_02]: It's me and why I loved him so much as a kid.
• 37:54
[SPEAKER_02]: That when it was over,
• 37:56
[SPEAKER_02]: I felt like I was reliving his death, and then I went back and watched it again just because it was so awesome too.
• 38:01
[SPEAKER_02]: I wanted to see some of those highlights again.
• 38:03
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 38:04
[SPEAKER_04]: Want to show us the audience.
• 38:05
[SPEAKER_04]: The sadness involved in it too, man.
• 38:07
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, like, he had some really hard times.
• 38:10
[SPEAKER_04]: It's the sadness of an athlete.
• 38:12
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 38:12
[SPEAKER_02]: And that's what you deal with.
• 38:14
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure with with your program here is, you know, you have these guys that are at their peak.
• 38:19
  [SPEAKER_02]: And then it's over.
• 38:20
[SPEAKER_02]: And then you're wondering what your fucking purpose is.
• 38:23
  [SPEAKER_04]: And then point.
• 38:23
[SPEAKER_04]: And with military dudes, yeah, that's what I'm saying.
• 38:26
[SPEAKER_02]: And that was the same with Hulk Hogan.
• 38:27
[SPEAKER_02]: And it's the same with the military guys where you're trying to find this purpose.
• 38:31
[SPEAKER_02]: Or you just keep kind of going back to it.
• 38:33
[SPEAKER_02]: Like Hogan did in some form or another.
• 38:36
[SPEAKER_02]: Or it's like, hey, you should probably just rip off the band aid and start something else.
• 38:41
  [SPEAKER_02]: Which is hard.
• 38:42
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, and that's where I'm going with this.
• 38:44
[SPEAKER_02]: When you got out of the military, how hard was it to transition to, all right,
• 38:48
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to start this company, I'm going to get on social media because that's how you get to sell all this shit and everything else like that.
• 38:55
[SPEAKER_02]: How hard was it for you when you got back?
• 38:58
[SPEAKER_04]: At the time, I didn't really think about it.
• 39:00
  [SPEAKER_04]: I just got it.
• 39:01
[SPEAKER_04]: But I realized there was something missing there.
• 39:04
[SPEAKER_04]: And I was, okay, it wasn't making money.
• 39:06
[SPEAKER_04]: It wasn't there was still something missing.
• 39:08
[SPEAKER_04]: And I was doing pretty well even before all that.
• 39:11
[SPEAKER_04]: But once I started my business, which started doing, I mean, I did 44 million out of my garage growing out of nowhere, man.
• 39:18
  [SPEAKER_04]: I couldn't even believe it.
• 39:20
  [SPEAKER_02]: That's a lot.
• 39:21
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 39:22
[SPEAKER_04]: here in Austin be 44 million of your fucking garage well from firing my garage and tell 2021-22 I had three stores I had 60 employees holy from nothing man so to me I was like man and I was veteran business of the year I started Formula One race by Crown World here in Austin yeah all these things were happening I was like man this is cool
• 39:43
[SPEAKER_04]: But I was still missing something.
• 39:45
[SPEAKER_04]: So that's when I got involved with the foundations, the Hero Wads.
• 39:50
[SPEAKER_04]: We did Danny Deets Memorial out of my place with Cindy as mom.
• 39:54
[SPEAKER_04]: That connects to me, connected to the community, and a way to give back to those communities through what I was doing.
• 40:01
[SPEAKER_02]: Is there a level of guilt when you make $44 million out of your garage coming back?
• 40:05
  [SPEAKER_02]: Hell no.
• 40:06
  [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
• 40:06
  [SPEAKER_02]: No way.
• 40:07
[SPEAKER_04]: I didn't have that my pocket but when I you look at my my accounting numbers finances over the Yeah, your valuation.
• 40:15
[SPEAKER_04]: My value wage and I've done all that.
• 40:16
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I'm like damn I would have never But I know how hard that was to make happen and I've made it and I've lost a lot and I've had a rebuild I've done I've been through all that so well everybody has who has a small business service in entrepreneur and like
• 40:35
[SPEAKER_02]: You go through with hardy of self-series like, man, it must be an awesome problem that you guys are selling out everywhere and I was like, it's not.
• 40:40
[SPEAKER_02]: I got to fill these fucking orders.
• 40:42
[SPEAKER_04]: You got to fill orders.
• 40:43
  [SPEAKER_04]: We had it.
• 40:43
  [SPEAKER_02]: We're not taking a dime.
• 40:45
[SPEAKER_04]: Like, uh, because you're investing in all back here and you have to.
• 40:48
  [SPEAKER_02]: You have to.
• 40:49
  [SPEAKER_02]: You have to.
• 40:49
  [SPEAKER_04]: You have to.
• 40:50
[SPEAKER_04]: And nobody ever gets to see that.
• 40:52
  [SPEAKER_02]: They don't see that.
• 40:52
[SPEAKER_02]: They're like bitch online and be like, hey, why are you sold out at the fucking gas station next to my house?
• 40:57
  [SPEAKER_02]: And I was like,
• 40:58
[SPEAKER_04]: hey luckily we are sold out of the gas station right so there was fucking 50 of them stacks of the ceiling with dust on them and we had a fuck that's a problem yeah but we don't have that yeah we had to turn down Cabela's I had to turn down his back side he says back stores I can't sell those orders so I know as a small businesses you know unless you have big um backers banks investors involved to how that up for capital to purchase all that inventory tell everybody how much money that is
• 41:25
  [SPEAKER_04]: It's a lot.
• 41:26
  [SPEAKER_04]: It's, I mean, what's your guess?
• 41:27
[SPEAKER_04]: I have my number just for canning.
• 41:29
  [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
• 41:30
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, um, depends on your minimums.
• 41:32
[SPEAKER_04]: If it's 10,000 units, 20,000 units, you're looking at $50,000 up front cost just to have a few pallets.
• 41:40
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 41:40
[SPEAKER_02]: So the beginning of hard AF cost 80.
• 41:43
[SPEAKER_02]: And then, you know, we did a small run.
• 41:45
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I really loved it and so you know, we made more and all that other shit puts right now You have to pay for that upfront and you got to eat that and you get to wait 90 days Yeah, so that's the tough part right even though the guys are net 30, and that's fine Which you're lucky to even have that while it's only because it's liquor the polar liquor It's but with that it's like you know, I sat down with my team yesterday and we had a you know a deep dive meeting of like
• 42:09
[SPEAKER_02]: Do you sell it for an acquisition yet because you're so young or do you keep going and try to drive the number of height and you're like all right You need you need about five million you can turn this into a hundred yeah, but trying to find the five million with everything else that's going on in the world today
• 42:25
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, really fucking difficult.
• 42:27
[SPEAKER_04]: So you're like, all right, you take that easy way out and coffee with tariffs, you know, through the tariffs trying to get beans, all the big coffee companies were buying up all the beans, so the smaller companies that don't have $500,000 up front cost, a bunch of beans, you know, then you're going to stuck with whatever you can get.
• 42:45
[SPEAKER_02]: All right, well, here's what's it would happen to us and maybe this happened to you and maybe it helped you.
• 42:49
[SPEAKER_02]: So that the tariffs thing helped me in a way.
• 42:52
[SPEAKER_02]: Our sugar brew was the only thing that was coming well, we had cans coming from Canada aluminum Was able to and it you know fucked up the supply chain for about 72 hours and I found a place here.
• 43:02
[SPEAKER_02]: That was cheaper That was a great.
• 43:03
[SPEAKER_02]: I would rather be American.
• 43:04
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the next was sugar brew and the sugar brew was coming from the Netherlands And so I would order this thing would be on a tanker now
• 43:11
[SPEAKER_02]: They didn't tell you when the tanker was gonna get in.
• 43:13
[SPEAKER_02]: Nothing, I mean, it's just fucking unorganized.
• 43:16
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's typical socks, right?
• 43:18
[SPEAKER_02]: So you can't, you don't know what day you're gonna make it.
• 43:20
[SPEAKER_02]: And I go, why is this so hard to get?
• 43:22
[SPEAKER_02]: And they were like, oh, man, with the tariffs, white claw.
• 43:25
[SPEAKER_02]: Went in and bought out every fucking tanker and all those other shit.
• 43:28
[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so why can't we make this product in America?
• 43:32
[SPEAKER_02]: Somebody's gotta be doing it.
• 43:34
[SPEAKER_02]: But, uh, and my CEO was like, you know, I bet there is.
• 43:38
[SPEAKER_02]: Let me call around and he goes, everybody's just used this place for years.
• 43:41
[SPEAKER_02]: But he's really every inquired if this is what they've been using and everybody right and then I found this place It was cheaper and I had to go to the fucking Netherlands and I solved all those problems in three to four days tops Yeah, is that what happened with coffee you have to so if you have to be willing to make those adjustments when when those things happen
• 44:02
[SPEAKER_04]: same with COVID from my apparel line, our ink shops had to close their shops.
• 44:06
  [SPEAKER_04]: They couldn't, they couldn't print.
• 44:08
[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm like, oh, and then here's another one, because they were masking shit.
• 44:13
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, or their businesses would say, they were following all the rules, which I didn't.
• 44:16
[SPEAKER_02]: I kept my store up and I was telling them we did the same thing.
• 44:19
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 44:19
[SPEAKER_04]: So we were getting groups and groups, and I was against the whole COVID thing.
• 44:23
[SPEAKER_04]: I knew it was bullshit.
• 44:25
  [SPEAKER_04]: I thought it was a joke.
• 44:26
[SPEAKER_04]: But I'm having so many people from UT to large construction companies coming to us.
• 44:32
[SPEAKER_04]: Do you guys make masks?
• 44:33
[SPEAKER_04]: Do you guys make masks?
• 44:34
[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm like, hmm, I'm taking a hit over here.
• 44:37
  [SPEAKER_04]: Here's a problem.
• 44:38
  [SPEAKER_04]: I have the solution.
• 44:39
[SPEAKER_04]: I can make custom bad ass shorts here in America all day long.
• 44:43
[SPEAKER_04]: I can surely make a very cool, simplified mask.
• 44:47
[SPEAKER_04]: So we flipped that switch.
• 44:48
  [SPEAKER_04]: And I did a bunch.
• 44:49
  [SPEAKER_04]: We did.
• 44:51
[SPEAKER_04]: a lot of freakin' custom masks for kids.
• 44:54
  [SPEAKER_00]: For real.
• 44:54
  [SPEAKER_04]: For real.
• 44:55
  [SPEAKER_04]: Universities.
• 44:57
[SPEAKER_04]: Our phone was blowing up, and I'm like, because I was like shit, we're gonna be fucked because of this thing.
• 45:01
  [SPEAKER_04]: I know.
• 45:02
[SPEAKER_04]: But I was like, how, so if you're not, and if you run out, you're run out, right?
• 45:05
[SPEAKER_02]: They move on to the next.
• 45:06
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and one of the margins on those back then were insane.
• 45:11
  [SPEAKER_04]: Holy shit.
• 45:11
[SPEAKER_04]: You know what you're doing with corporations who don't care.
• 45:13
[SPEAKER_04]: They just want to buy $30 mass and you're making them for $4.
• 45:17
[SPEAKER_04]: Let's rock and roll, man.
• 45:19
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I got two buddies who got rich off mask.
• 45:22
[SPEAKER_02]: And what was the hand sanitizer?
• 45:24
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah.
• 45:25
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, dudes were making that stuff and they're like, they're grudges and stuff.
• 45:28
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, with like liquor.
• 45:30
  [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
• 45:31
[SPEAKER_04]: Like, like, a supply and demand.
• 45:33
[SPEAKER_04]: You couldn't find something as silly as that.
• 45:36
[SPEAKER_04]: And then everybody needing it, and trust me, I hate mass.
• 45:39
[SPEAKER_04]: I think it was all gay, whatever.
• 45:41
  [SPEAKER_04]: But why?
• 45:41
[SPEAKER_04]: If I can put your company all back to work because of a silly mass, and I have the ability to do that, hell yeah, I'm doing that.
• 45:48
[SPEAKER_04]: So some dudes hit it, though, you guys, I'm like, man, nah, dude, you're looking at it wrong.
• 45:52
[SPEAKER_04]: This is a problem, and people can help it up if they're wearing masks, you know, they're the same way.
• 45:57
  [SPEAKER_04]: It's let's play the game, whatever.
• 45:58
[SPEAKER_04]: They want to go back to work.
• 45:59
[SPEAKER_04]: They got to make money.
• 46:00
[SPEAKER_04]: I got to make money too.
• 46:01
[SPEAKER_04]: I got to employees and all this stuff.
• 46:02
[SPEAKER_04]: I got to pay for.
• 46:03
[SPEAKER_02]: And so in one buddy mine who did the hand sanitizer by the way, he was an alcohol company.
• 46:10
[SPEAKER_02]: And not, I mean, hard alcohol, not like, sheltered.
• 46:13
[SPEAKER_04]: And they're like vodka or something.
• 46:15
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he was like, turn them in.
• 46:17
[SPEAKER_02]: And so I put it in my hands and I'm, you know, wipe it together and I smell it.
• 46:21
[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like, oh, I mean, I started watering nose.
• 46:24
  [SPEAKER_02]: Everything was holy shit.
• 46:26
  [SPEAKER_02]: And I go,
• 46:28
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, how much you make in any told me and he goes like, oh, Jesus Christ.
• 46:31
[SPEAKER_02]: And he goes, yeah, but I can't go to the snow nobody can go to the stores and buy the vodka.
• 46:34
[SPEAKER_02]: So he's like, I got to use it for something and I was like, I understand and I go last question, this is even work.
• 46:42
[SPEAKER_02]: Even he goes, I have no idea.
• 46:44
[SPEAKER_02]: Just because it doesn't smell like it works.
• 46:47
[SPEAKER_02]: And I go, it does, but it's also really fucking strong and he goes as well.
• 46:54
[SPEAKER_02]: That's what I think this is, and I don't think anybody cares.
• 46:56
[SPEAKER_04]: No, they just are following the playing the game, man.
• 47:00
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but to go to your question with the canning and finding solutions, you know, it's the same with bags, custom bags, so I could get these made overseas.
• 47:09
[SPEAKER_04]: This is all completely custom with resellable beauty.
• 47:12
  [SPEAKER_02]: What is that?
• 47:12
[SPEAKER_02]: So what's the price of that?
• 47:15
[SPEAKER_02]: for you just the bag like all of it all in right all done all said and done about eight bucks eight bucks okay so ours with a sell to this twelve pack is here in front of you it's eleven all in uh eleven dollars now what is that for a case uh twelve pack for twelve twelve pack yeah yeah it's just twenty two dollars so on that's twenty four cans uh that's including the carton boxes all that other fun stuff here um now somebody to pack it somebody to ship it yeah it's all that's all it it's an all-in-costance not bad um look it should be
• 47:45
[SPEAKER_02]: 1599 on in the shelf for Christ 6 because at least I'll set 11 what prices at leave your guys is That's I mean, we're at about 33 percent margin after all said and done Because coffee's dollar or similar.
• 47:57
  [SPEAKER_04]: It's it's decent.
• 47:58
[SPEAKER_04]: It's just but the thing that gets you probably with you guys is the shipping shipping is expensive Because it's a heavy commodity.
• 48:03
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, and especially with the gas right now
• 48:05
[SPEAKER_04]: with all that so it all impacts where T-shirts three ounces, you know, you actually make money off shipping five dollars to ship say one shirt, you're making two dollars off just shipping.
• 48:16
[SPEAKER_04]: So margins and clothing are way better, but these commodities are ones that need it.
• 48:22
[SPEAKER_04]: Once they get it, they need another one, they have one.
• 48:40
[SPEAKER_04]: Um, but that's when entrepreneurs are crazy that way.
• 48:43
[SPEAKER_04]: I know a lot of them and they have multiple things going on, you know, certain point.
• 48:47
[SPEAKER_04]: You kind of have to, you know, when I open my stores, I don't want to brag and when I clean like nice bad ass stores, pull tables.
• 48:53
[SPEAKER_04]: I want to guys be able to come have an experience.
• 48:55
[SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to be a basement brand where dudes sound stuff with things got good social media like you can come to my place.
• 49:01
[SPEAKER_04]: How about staying out of the dudes, get a tattoo?
• 49:04
[SPEAKER_04]: I get a haircut at all and all that stuff, but I was a huge upfront expense and kind of a risk when we're killing it online.
• 49:13
[SPEAKER_04]: But, you know, you want to try to do things when you're an entrepreneur.
• 49:18
[SPEAKER_04]: You don't want to stay in the safe zone all the time.
• 49:20
[SPEAKER_04]: Sometimes you want to vary out and try to do things.
• 49:22
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm not saying that's what you should do.
• 49:24
[SPEAKER_04]: If you're doing real well in one area, stay there.
• 49:27
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, it's like you can only take one rooms.
• 49:30
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, when you're taking a room, you can only get to do one at a time.
• 49:33
[SPEAKER_04]: You can't take multiple, you know.
• 49:36
[SPEAKER_04]: You gotta dial yourself back in sometimes when you're that spirited to have to want to do just different things and projects, man.
• 49:44
[SPEAKER_04]: But this is America, this is the land where there still is so much opportunity.
• 49:50
  [SPEAKER_04]: I look around everywhere, I'm like, dude, that's a business, that's a business.
• 49:53
[SPEAKER_04]: And then these foreigners come here and see that and see that.
• 49:57
[SPEAKER_04]: Where our societies got in,
• 50:00
[SPEAKER_04]: a little weak in that area and comfortable that they're not fighting for all these things laying out in front of them.
• 50:07
[SPEAKER_04]: So, dudes are coming to her open gas stations, convenient shops, where are they from, India, Pakistan?
• 50:13
  [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
• 50:13
[SPEAKER_04]: Dude, you could do that too, you're home collecting.
• 50:16
[SPEAKER_02]: welfare, you know, you do the same exact thing if you want to do so.
• 50:21
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 50:21
[SPEAKER_02]: And do you give speeches around the nation about your businesses and everything else?
• 50:25
[SPEAKER_04]: That'll probably be the next thing I get into after I'm because I'm positioning now to go to market.
• 50:28
  [SPEAKER_04]: It's been 15 years.
• 50:30
[SPEAKER_04]: I've taken them as far as I can go.
• 50:31
[SPEAKER_04]: And I have new things that I want to do, which I just can't because of them.
• 50:35
[SPEAKER_04]: So after that will be more that type of thing.
• 50:41
[SPEAKER_04]: some consulting maybe, and then doing some more, some of his film stuff that other opportunities are coming to me, I can't do them because of this.
• 50:48
[SPEAKER_02]: So, everybody loves Roga Parallel, and it's just like, too, it's one of those things that is massive.
• 50:54
  [SPEAKER_02]: So, it's like, okay.
• 50:55
[SPEAKER_04]: Either that or I want to find a dude, if somebody's out there, a young hustler, dude, like, I guess, who I was 10, 15 years ago.
• 51:02
[SPEAKER_04]: that, you know, and had it over to a new CEO or something, so I don't have to be so involved.
• 51:10
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, so we'll see what happens, but it does have such a great following, and just so many amazing people behind it.
• 51:21
[SPEAKER_04]: So I got things, but I also have things that I want to do other than that, you know?
• 51:27
[SPEAKER_02]: So what is your hopes and dreams here?
• 51:30
[SPEAKER_02]: Because right now, everybody thinks you're living the dream right now.
• 51:32
  [SPEAKER_04]: I'm still hustling, bro.
• 51:33
  [SPEAKER_04]: I said, oh, that's so, bro.
• 51:35
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, it takes some time off, and it kind of reevaluate, reevaluate on things and life's been more time with my kids.
• 51:42
[SPEAKER_04]: I tried too as much as I can now, but I've also missed out on a lot.
• 51:46
[SPEAKER_04]: So, and then maybe teaching.
• 51:48
[SPEAKER_02]: That's a hard part isn't missing out on shit.
• 51:51
[SPEAKER_04]: It is, and when I left corporate, that was my reasons.
• 51:54
[SPEAKER_04]: I was like, okay, I worked for probably the wealthiest guy in Texas,
• 52:01
[SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to live like that.
• 52:02
[SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to be able to have my own decisions to leave and go to my kids' games and all that.
• 52:07
[SPEAKER_04]: And I do for the most part, but I still feel that I, you know, I can't take a two-week trip somewhere.
• 52:15
[SPEAKER_04]: Like, hey, take my kids, I'm not at that point yet.
• 52:17
[SPEAKER_04]: I can go to, let's go to Rome for two weeks.
• 52:19
[SPEAKER_04]: Let me show you my homestoppings.
• 52:20
  [SPEAKER_04]: I'm doing it.
• 52:21
  [SPEAKER_04]: You're on a nice turn.
• 52:23
[SPEAKER_04]: It's not living in the hospital, bro.
• 52:24
[SPEAKER_04]: Like, you know, like, we do, well, like you said it, all goes back into the machine.
• 52:28
[SPEAKER_04]: I think it's pump back into the machine.
• 52:29
[SPEAKER_02]: goes back into the business and yeah luckily my wife is cool with shit where she's just like you gotta have that yeah you do she's not a big like fancy person so she understands
• 52:42
[SPEAKER_02]: She never asked for the huge diamond ring or any of that other bullshit.
• 52:45
[SPEAKER_02]: She was like, hey, man, I'd rather have a house.
• 52:47
  [SPEAKER_02]: I'd rather have a nice house.
• 52:49
[SPEAKER_02]: I would rather have a decent car.
• 52:51
[SPEAKER_02]: I would rather go with her kids to get her.
• 52:54
  [SPEAKER_02]: Have good food.
• 52:55
[SPEAKER_04]: I didn't be able to stay in a nice restaurant.
• 52:57
[SPEAKER_02]: And not worry about the tip.
• 52:59
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, it is.
• 53:01
  [SPEAKER_02]: Like holy shit.
• 53:02
[SPEAKER_02]: So there's things like that as well.
• 53:05
[SPEAKER_02]: But when your company does grow to $22 million,
• 53:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Um, is there any interest in selling?
• 53:10
  [SPEAKER_02]: Have you had offers?
• 53:11
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, no, I'm I'm I'm positioning now to actually go to market.
• 53:15
  [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
• 53:16
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, so yeah, yeah, so up I haven't It's hard as me once again, but I'm like, I don't want to I can't let's put it out there, but there's good.
• 53:25
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, no, and I don't you know I'm like Otherwise you go through broker and then he shops or I'd rather see it to go.
• 53:30
[SPEAKER_04]: I have really cool supporters
• 53:32
[SPEAKER_04]: go to somebody understands a vision and has or four or five dudes that want to come in together and You know there's different ways I can approach it, but I leave that part to God too I do my best to build something and if somebody else sees a vision and also sees it profitable that they could do well with that great man You know, so that's kind of where I'm I'm out with that and I didn't know about the broker part
• 53:55
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, so you can get a broker, there's a nail, they'll all start bombarding you, where they shop your brand.
• 54:00
[SPEAKER_04]: So you're not involved, because I've talked to some people there's a lot of time-wasters.
• 54:06
  [SPEAKER_04]: You'll spend a lot of bullshit.
• 54:07
[SPEAKER_04]: So they filter out the BS.
• 54:09
  [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
• 54:11
[SPEAKER_04]: And then they go to their own network of investors who buy type of those type of businesses, but then they're going to take a, you know, five to 10% or do you go to market their own?
• 54:20
  [SPEAKER_02]: That's not terrible.
• 54:21
[SPEAKER_02]: It can't be worth it.
• 54:22
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, the people have reached out to reach out to me personally.
• 54:25
[SPEAKER_02]: but also we're so public that it's like, hey, dude, you can find me everywhere, so it's awesome.
• 54:29
[SPEAKER_02]: You know that I dominoes last night's, like, you know what I'm saying?
• 54:33
[SPEAKER_04]: The same way, yeah, I've had dudes hit me up.
• 54:35
[SPEAKER_04]: How did I hit him at four or five years ago?
• 54:37
[SPEAKER_04]: So I probably should have taken it, but I wasn't ready to.
• 54:40
[SPEAKER_02]: I had that conversation with Bob, dude, that I was just like, man, that's the, it's the severe not to be.
• 54:46
  [SPEAKER_04]: Exactly.
• 54:47
[SPEAKER_02]: But wait a minute, if I just drove this up a little more, we'd be right.
• 54:51
[SPEAKER_04]: Let me get my ready for, yeah, this quarter I can pump it up and then, you know, you just take what you think of fair evaluation, sure, you know, and then you can go do other new things and great, you know, if you try to get too greedy over it, like, no, I'm, because you can say what you think it's worth, but numbers are numbers.
• 55:08
[SPEAKER_04]: That's what they're all going to say, you say, dude, I think it's worth this, okay, let's
• 55:17
[SPEAKER_04]: Get a really good finance accounting department.
• 55:20
[SPEAKER_04]: Yep, so when that time comes you have all that dialed in otherwise I spent two years going back to You know, I spent a lot of money to get all that information put together to be presented in a beautiful manner
• 55:34
[SPEAKER_04]: Um, so do that in the beginning, you know, you I don't know if you did that, but I was like, I'll deal with that later And I'll make shit.
• 55:40
[SPEAKER_02]: No, I've always been pretty fiscally conservative.
• 55:43
[SPEAKER_02]: So like I know you've got to have the CPAs You have the lawyers.
• 55:46
[SPEAKER_02]: You could have all that.
• 55:47
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you want your pianos every month.
• 55:49
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, no, every, you know, and that's why we do shows I like your things like that.
• 55:52
  [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
• 55:52
  [SPEAKER_04]: We're making money.
• 55:52
  [SPEAKER_04]: We're doing good.
• 55:53
[SPEAKER_04]: We're making money with it.
• 55:54
[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, you know, but and that's why we do shows like this is like there is a lot of listeners who wants
• 55:59
[SPEAKER_02]: to become an entrepreneur and be like, yes, I'm tired of working with them.
• 56:02
[SPEAKER_04]: And they should, you probably, I get messages all day.
• 56:04
[SPEAKER_04]: Dude, hey, man, you know, the real are a lot of guys.
• 56:08
[SPEAKER_02]: Totally, but that's why I want to have guys like you on the show, where it's just like, all right, when you listen to this, if you're watching or whatever you're doing, no, that it is very, very difficult.
• 56:17
[SPEAKER_02]: And I would say after looking back at all these years.
• 56:21
[SPEAKER_04]: A good lawyer and a good accountant.
• 56:23
[SPEAKER_02]: A little lawyer, good accountant, but also you're going to work.
• 56:26
[SPEAKER_04]: double the hours is if you just took a regular 100% yeah I had I had Deheist I was an Italy working with Michael Dells dotter 19-year-old Only security guy on a 19-year-old in Italy Which I was like this is a two-man job.
• 56:41
  [SPEAKER_04]: No, they want a one-man.
• 56:42
  [SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
• 56:42
[SPEAKER_04]: That's gonna be a long hours So I get a and it was long a 20-hour days a satin either one dude on one teenage girl
• 56:53
[SPEAKER_04]: And my manager called me goes, hey, your name came up in a global meeting, a global, major meeting.
• 56:59
[SPEAKER_04]: Highest over time in Dell history.
• 57:00
[SPEAKER_04]: John Wesley would like to like, that's what happens when you send one guy to, I was like, you could tell them who the boss is.
• 57:07
[SPEAKER_04]: We just laughed about it.
• 57:08
  [SPEAKER_03]: That's hilarious.
• 57:09
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, being entrepreneur, I would probably work more.
• 57:12
  [SPEAKER_04]: Weekends, holidays.
• 57:14
  [SPEAKER_02]: All of it.
• 57:14
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it's always on, and I tell the kids that dad hates the phone.
• 57:20
[SPEAKER_02]: If dad's on the phone, that means it's work.
• 57:23
[SPEAKER_02]: And please don't take it personally.
• 57:25
[SPEAKER_02]: I love you guys, and it sucks to know that I hate the phone.
• 57:29
[SPEAKER_02]: Everybody's much as you guys do.
• 57:31
[SPEAKER_04]: But if you're on it, it's for a reason.
• 57:32
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yep, that's it.
• 57:33
[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not just scrolling or fucking fine and shit or anything like that, and not reading comments.
• 57:39
[SPEAKER_02]: You don't have the time for it, you just can't.
• 57:42
[SPEAKER_02]: No, and also you do want to, like, this phrase touched the grass.
• 57:46
[SPEAKER_02]: I've heard this whole lot lately.
• 57:48
[SPEAKER_02]: It sounds gay, but it is important where you're like, hey, dude.
• 57:52
[SPEAKER_02]: Go out under the world, meet your fucking neighbors, coach them, coach the kids, touch the grass, enjoy the shit.
• 57:59
[SPEAKER_02]: We hear children because it's going to be too late the next thing you know, they're older and I see it with my best friends, time flying and everything else and time is still the most valuable as we have.
• 58:12
[SPEAKER_04]: I do that when I was 20 years old, that's what that was my problem and so I'm seeing that finally right now I'm really seeing it like my my daughter's driving now.
• 58:20
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like good Lord now I don't have to take you anywhere which I miss.
• 58:24
[SPEAKER_04]: I don't have to call me to pick you up like you've once have a car They're free they're gone
• 58:28
[SPEAKER_04]: Um, and it's just like, man, you know, I'm still heavily involved with course, but you look at him when further three or four, man, it's gone like that, bro.
• 58:37
[SPEAKER_04]: So it's like, and that is the most valuable time that you have for sure.
• 58:40
[SPEAKER_04]: So, and any successful guy, and if he's, you see the guy, what was your favorite part of life that's done the other?
• 58:46
[SPEAKER_04]: What do you wish you could have done spend more time with my loved ones, you know?
• 58:49
[SPEAKER_04]: friends, family, friends, family, and it's just so true and you can get wrapped up into this real quick.
• 58:55
  [SPEAKER_04]: Man, I got a bus mask.
• 58:56
[SPEAKER_04]: I got to make more.
• 58:57
[SPEAKER_04]: I got to before you know a times pass and man, so you got to really be disciplined to balance that out and not remember how important that is.
• 59:05
[SPEAKER_04]: We do it because we love them.
• 59:07
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to use my life to give you the best life I possibly can and those I love and and help others.
• 59:14
[SPEAKER_04]: And as much as it drains me, but you can't do that.
• 59:16
[SPEAKER_04]: You also have to take care of yourself to be able to do those things in more efficient matter, you know, otherwise you will burn yourself out.
• 59:25
  [SPEAKER_04]: Quick.
• 59:26
[SPEAKER_04]: So you had to really try to balance that, you know, yeah.
• 59:29
[SPEAKER_04]: So entrepreneurs get a new entrepreneurs up and come in.
• 59:33
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, just it will happen.
• 59:34
[SPEAKER_04]: So just be, yeah, be prepared.
• 59:36
[SPEAKER_02]: Do you want to ask how old you are now?
• 59:38
  [SPEAKER_04]: I'm 51.
• 59:38
  [SPEAKER_04]: 51.
• 59:39
  [SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
• 59:40
[SPEAKER_02]: Did you have an age set in mind where you were like, okay, I want to retire by this inch?
• 59:45
  [SPEAKER_04]: 52.
• 59:46
  [SPEAKER_02]: Really?
• 59:46
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 59:47
[SPEAKER_02]: And how long ago was that?
• 59:48
  [SPEAKER_04]: That's all it.
• 59:49
[SPEAKER_04]: So my plan was to start my own business at 3940s when I did at 40 as going to have my own business.
• 59:55
[SPEAKER_04]: did that and by 52, be able to be able to be you know good enough to be retired to not to worry about.
• 1:00:04
[SPEAKER_02]: So you got one more year.
• 1:00:05
[SPEAKER_04]: I got one more year and I still got a still hustling bro, is it possible?
• 1:00:09
  [SPEAKER_04]: It's possible.
• 1:00:10
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it is, you know, I'm selling my, I got a beautiful property, I'm Hudson Bend, beautiful.
• 1:00:16
[SPEAKER_04]: It's an old saloon looking building, I've had huge events out there and I have my two
• 1:00:24
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, hopefully I'll be able to survive a little bit after that and then the other projects I hopefully can just switch sales right on and not have the overhead, not have products, not have customers, I could do more of these type of things, I could do things that aren't.
• 1:00:41
[SPEAKER_04]: Not as difficult as moving product and vendors and all that come with a business utilize all that you've learned, I think I have quite the background to, I see a lot, I'm not putting that in anybody, but when I see these like coach business guys like, you can pay me 20 grant, I'm going to teach you and then you're like, okay, what did this do you do?
• 1:01:03
[SPEAKER_04]: What business did he run?
• 1:01:04
[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I mean?
• 1:01:06
[SPEAKER_04]: I think I've done that, you know, and I think I have skills that are now, your time is valuable too.
• 1:01:13
[SPEAKER_04]: I try to help a lot of people out, but if somebody comes here, hey, can you help me with this or that?
• 1:01:19
[SPEAKER_04]: Sure, I can, but, you know, you're going to pay me for that, short, you know, so I've gotten better at that, and I think I can bring value to somebody's life.
• 1:01:29
[SPEAKER_04]: You've got to bring value to somebody, you know, so if you're
• 1:01:32
[SPEAKER_04]: if I can help you cut a lot of corners, not waste time finding certain manufacturers or like you know how the time consuming that was for you to find those new vendors stuff bro.
• 1:01:41
  [SPEAKER_04]: That's valuable bro.
• 1:01:42
[SPEAKER_04]: So like, those are things that are valuable that you only learn through doing this stuff.
• 1:01:48
[SPEAKER_04]: Or I'll just go be a greener at Walmart bro and just say, low-stressed dude, I, you know.
• 1:01:54
[SPEAKER_02]: This struggle with life where shit, Jamie, is Jamie back there?
• 1:01:59
[SPEAKER_02]: He was talking about how simple and happy he is and how much money it makes it takes him to survive.
• 1:02:05
[SPEAKER_02]: We're talking about this last night and he goes, I'm not brilliant like you who's coming up with a million different ideas and executing them at a high level and all the shit And I go Jamie to be honest with you man, I don't know if I'm living the best life for you are Yeah, so true man, because I you missed time you miss you miss shit in moments and all that other stuff And then there's another one of my very very
• 1:02:28
[SPEAKER_02]: probably one of my best friends in the world, as he's in North Carolina.
• 1:02:32
[SPEAKER_02]: We're going back to live there, and I was chat with him, him and I have been friends since, let's call it 12 years now, somewhere in there, 12 through 10 years.
• 1:02:43
[SPEAKER_02]: He's always had this number two, which is why I asked you, of age, and he goes, I wanna be retired at 59 years old, and I go, why?
• 1:02:52
[SPEAKER_02]: Why is that the number, why is that the thing?
• 1:02:54
[SPEAKER_02]: And he goes, that's what my father,
• 1:02:56
[SPEAKER_02]: Always said growing up and I watched him work and then he retired at 59 and I go How will you father now?
• 1:03:03
[SPEAKER_02]: And he's like he's in a 70's and I go did it work and he goes Yeah, he's the happiest fucking dude.
• 1:03:08
[SPEAKER_02]: I know and it all worked and it's you know He didn't need a lot of money.
• 1:03:12
[SPEAKER_02]: He maintained it and and wanted to be happy and so when I moved here The biggest reason for moving to Austin was they offered us a lot of money
• 1:03:23
[SPEAKER_02]: They were trying to turn an Austin into this comedy Mecca, which they did.
• 1:03:27
[SPEAKER_02]: It was all predicated on Joe Rogan, and I'm not even going to pretend that it wasn't because Joe doesn't come.
• 1:03:32
[SPEAKER_02]: You don't have the scene here, and then guests can come on and you have the same advertisers and all that other shits.
• 1:03:39
[SPEAKER_02]: All of it came true, and I have no regrets.
• 1:03:41
[SPEAKER_02]: However, I just didn't enjoy Austin that much.
• 1:03:43
[SPEAKER_02]: And, uh, uh, with that, um, my buddy, same guy, uh, calls me and he knew how much I was making and all that other stuff and, uh, and he goes, hey dude, this is in the middle of the night, I don't know where I'm just driving home and he goes, um, how was it?
• 1:04:01
  [SPEAKER_02]: was it worth it?
• 1:04:03
[SPEAKER_02]: And he goes, I've always struggled with this, and I was like, why?
• 1:04:06
[SPEAKER_02]: Just some work in life in general.
• 1:04:08
[SPEAKER_02]: And he goes, man, I've had this goal of 59, which I've told you about and everything else, but he goes, I've also had some other job offers in other cities, but I didn't want to uproot the family and the kids and all that other stuff, and he goes, yes, I knew that I was always going to make last money.
• 1:04:23
[SPEAKER_02]: However, I loved where I lived, I loved my community, I loved my kids, and everything else, and he goes,
• 1:04:30
[SPEAKER_02]: too important to pass up for money and even his wife had said let's take this fucking job and make more money and do this in another city.
• 1:04:39
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
• 1:04:40
[SPEAKER_02]: And he goes I've got to know the answer man before you come back.
• 1:04:43
  [SPEAKER_02]: Was it worth it?
• 1:04:43
[SPEAKER_02]: And I go I will not know that.
• 1:04:48
[SPEAKER_02]: However like I won't know that for a few years.
• 1:04:50
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
• 1:04:51
[SPEAKER_02]: But I go however I can tell you this you're still the happiest person I know.
• 1:04:56
[SPEAKER_04]: And I'll men view so that, you know, yeah, I don't care what you want to say here.
• 1:05:00
  [SPEAKER_04]: I know it's it's a I know you and I think every person's on their own journey.
• 1:05:04
[SPEAKER_04]: So it's very hard everybody's different people's like you're crazy because I've I've lost, you know, I've went through a divorce bro.
• 1:05:10
  [SPEAKER_04]: I've I've had
• 1:05:12
[SPEAKER_04]: Certain people will not be in your life because they they're not on the ship that you're on towards that vision and that you're going towards any storm that comes and that comes with this territory You will lose people as well because you got to be a little bit Burn it the type of guy to call it ships.
• 1:05:30
[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you know, but then yeah, that's ego and all the things that you're coming up that's
• 1:05:35
[SPEAKER_04]: But then you do realize that certain present man is that dude the way which is the way so I'm to the point now on more like you know what I'm going to work hard Whatever comes from that.
• 1:05:45
[SPEAKER_04]: It's going to come from that and just to live in a peaceful manner And it's not about money.
• 1:05:52
  [SPEAKER_04]: It's about more freedom
• 1:05:54
[SPEAKER_04]: and not having that burden of running a business is 24, 7 people call on email and it's taxing man.
• 1:06:02
[SPEAKER_04]: So I see that too.
• 1:06:03
[SPEAKER_04]: I'll be even driving out here at some guy working in a jar.
• 1:06:06
[SPEAKER_04]: I was like, dude, that dude's probably really happy right now.
• 1:06:09
  [SPEAKER_04]: Just doing that.
• 1:06:10
  [SPEAKER_04]: I wouldn't be.
• 1:06:10
[SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to be out in the sun working in my yard, but he's probably happy dude.
• 1:06:13
  [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you know.
• 1:06:14
  [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
• 1:06:16
  [SPEAKER_04]: So life's a trip.
• 1:06:17
[SPEAKER_04]: We have one and it's just, I think one is constant journey to try to figure out who's the happiest, what makes us the happiest.
• 1:06:24
[SPEAKER_02]: He goes, thank you so much, man, he goes, you're the only person I can ask about this, and he goes, I feel like I made the right decision and I go, you did, and I go, you know, the extra money, it wasn't, it was good, but it wasn't like life-changing, hey, you're gonna be able to retire, you know, on some mansion.
• 1:06:40
[SPEAKER_04]: And that can all go away, like, yeah, lose all that.
• 1:06:43
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
• 1:06:43
[SPEAKER_04]: I bought all the cars I ever wanted, I had that, bought all the things, I was like, okay,
• 1:06:49
[SPEAKER_04]: And I ended up losing a lot of stuff, too.
• 1:06:51
[SPEAKER_04]: And I was like, that stuff didn't matter, man.
• 1:06:53
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, and then how do we build my stuff?
• 1:06:54
[SPEAKER_04]: So I learned in that fight that those things don't matter.
• 1:06:58
[SPEAKER_04]: You know, as long as your kids are healthy and take care of and you're maintaining your life and yourself, your mind-body and spirit's all connected.
• 1:07:08
[SPEAKER_04]: So you're not lost in,
• 1:07:10
[SPEAKER_04]: That's a problem with nowadays and everybody coming up there's this expectation of social media Look at that guy.
• 1:07:16
  [SPEAKER_04]: He's killing it.
• 1:07:17
[SPEAKER_04]: She's killing and look out wonderful beautiful it's bullshit It's fake most of that is so unfortunately the younger the people coming up and we can all get caught in it Oh, man, look at this guy here this
• 1:07:29
[SPEAKER_04]: That dude's price so damn unhappy or fake.
• 1:07:32
  [SPEAKER_02]: I know.
• 1:07:32
[SPEAKER_04]: I sat at the other, doing weird shit.
• 1:07:35
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, to him, I was the guy on Instagram, right?
• 1:07:37
[SPEAKER_02]: So it was like, hey, guy, they had podcast Instagram and everything else.
• 1:07:40
[SPEAKER_02]: He saw the cool shit I was doing because I didn't even.
• 1:07:41
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I was like.
• 1:07:43
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, you're still the happiest guy I know, so yeah, you know, it's not always fun.
• 1:07:47
[SPEAKER_04]: But these, you get to meet a lot of cool people too.
• 1:07:49
[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I look, I've met everybody there is, and by the way, I love this job.
• 1:07:53
[SPEAKER_02]: I love, I love who's in podcasts all the long.
• 1:07:57
[SPEAKER_02]: It's just the back end of it, business wise.
• 1:07:59
[SPEAKER_02]: That could always be worse.
• 1:08:00
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it holds and everything else, we're just like, all right, you know.
• 1:08:03
[SPEAKER_04]: You'll get to the point where you don't have to, you just, you've got everybody right on your back end, you're just doing what you, I hope so.
• 1:08:09
[SPEAKER_04]: I'm with you, I don't want to do it.
• 1:08:11
  [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, you never know.
• 1:08:13
  [SPEAKER_02]: But you really don't.
• 1:08:14
[SPEAKER_02]: But I appreciate you being here, and again, you've been pitched to us by the audience a million times.
• 1:08:19
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I appreciate that, and it just so happened that I was talking to Spencer Pratt's people about getting them on and they're like, come in next or something like that.
• 1:08:27
  [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
• 1:08:27
[SPEAKER_02]: And they were like, hey, we got West here in town.
• 1:08:29
[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, and I go, man, West Whitwell,
• 1:08:32
[SPEAKER_02]: and then looked you up and I was like, fuck dude, listeners have asked for you for a while.

[SPEAKER_02]: I've got a lot of, I've got some other property here too.
• 1:08:57
[SPEAKER_02]: So it's like going through it.
• 1:08:58
[SPEAKER_02]: and you know it look it's all hard I'm not going to bitch about it like life is life and i made this decisions on my own like you got to own up to your own shit and that's it but i will say this looking back on it since it was one of our last shows here um everything they promised they came through on um i didn't get bone in that way and in any other way i just uh
