Latest / Man in America Podcast / Trump Threatens Great Depression if GOP Loses Midterms
Transcript
- 0:14Speaker 1: President Trump recently said about the midterms, quote, if Democrats get in, we will end up in a financial depression. We will go into a depression the likes of which we've never seen before. It'll be 1929. That's the president of The United States warning about the worst economic collapse in American history. Now he's also promising $5,000 to every adult if Republicans win.
- 0:38So the pitch is basically this, $5 or $19.29. Pick one. But what if we're getting the depression either way? The reality is America is over its head in debt. Stocks, housing, and bonds are all in bubbles at the exact same time.
- 0:54And every time the system starts to crack, Washington does the same thing. It just prints more money and spends it. My guest today is Micah Haynes. And in his view, the election only decides when it hits. We also get into the new plague outbreak in Russia, why so many Republicans say that they're staying home this year for the midterms, and where the fourth turning puts us in history.
- 1:15Now it's a heavy conversation, but it's not a hopeless one. Welcome to Man in America. I'm your host, Seth Holehouse. Before we start, make sure you hit that like button, the share button, the subscribe button. It's free.
- 1:25It's easy, and it really helps me stay independent and bring you this information without putting it behind a paywall. Alright. Let's go and get into my conversation with my good friend, Micah. Micah, man, it's good to have you back on. I always enjoy discussion, so thanks for being here.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Thanks, Seth, having me on too. Yeah. It's always a pleasure to be back on. It's one of my favorite channels to be on, so thanks.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Well, good, man. So, you know, we cover finance a lot. And... But, you know, finance to me is not about this... Finance.
- 1:52It's about a window into a bigger understanding of what's happening in the world, what's happening with the global economy, how that affects so many things. And one thing that I've been seeing for quite some time, I've interviewed a lot of experts on this, is that there's a very obvious problem with the global financial system. And even looking at just America in particular, that we're living in the era of bubbles built on bubbles built on bubbles. We've got the AI bubble, which we've covered. We've got, you know, the current housing bubble.
- 2:22There's lot of other bubbles, but but fundamentally, there's just a massive debt bubble. And so a lot of people, you know, that are looking at this are saying, well, when this thing pops, it's not just gonna be a 2008 where it's it's one kind of sector. It's kind of an everything bubble. And, you know, it's... People, you know, people have been saying this for quite some time, and you might say it's a boy crying wolf.
- 2:44But there's a lot of very serious indicators of this. And something that Trump said very recently in talking about the upcoming elections, which I'll play the video here, is, you know, he's talking about the the potential of America entering into not just a correction or a financial crisis, but actually a depression. And so I'm gonna play this, and and I wanna I want... I just wanna hear your thoughts on this because these are serious words coming from arguably one of the most powerful people in the world. So I'll play this real quick.
- 3:12It's about, seventeen seconds.
- 3:15Speaker 2: I think if the Democrats get in, we will end up in a financial depression. We will go into a depression the likes of which we've never seen before. It'll be 1929. That's my opinion. They're grossly incompetent.
- 3:29They have no idea what they're doing. Thank you very much, everybody. I think...
- 3:33Speaker 1: So, again, as with Trump, it's not a long sound bite. You don't need it, though. Right? He's very short to the point. But, basically, what he's saying is if the Democrats get in, he says we're gonna be going into a depression, the likes of which we've never seen before, which would imply we've seen a depression before, and it completely wrecked the way of life for decades.
- 3:53So when you see this, what are your think... What are you thinking about this?
- 3:59Speaker 2: Yeah. I think it's really serious and concerning for him to be inserting those exact words. 1929, the worst depression ever experienced, an economic crisis of, like, unknown proportions essentially. To hear that out of the mouth of the president is, again, it's it's pretty concerning. I think he's waving a red flag.
- 4:19I I do look at it from a couple of angles though and, like, with game theory, you have to think and like we've done on AI. Right? What's behind these moves? What's behind the narrative? There's always some kind of agenda behind the scenes.
- 4:30So with this, I look at it and say, I think he's right. To your point, there's a massive bubble in stocks. There's a massive bubble in housing, there's a massive bubble in bonds and we have the most national that we've ever had. We will end up with a big currency crisis. And it's not just us in The US, it's the whole world.
- 4:46So when he knows that, we know that, his advisors know that, It's inevitable that we end up at a point where the everything bubble like you, you know, appropriately call it, pops. And we have the worst financial crisis, you know, stock market crash and recession or depression kind of all in one. All the big bubbles of the past kind of tied up in one big massive financial meltdown. I think that the groundwork and the stage has already been set for that to happen. But he, from a partisan angle, is saying, vote for these guys, vote for Democrats, and you're you're gonna get it.
- 5:22Right? And I think that that's obviously a don't vote for them, vote for me. But in reality, there's not a whole lot that's gonna change with respect to the technicals and the fundamentals and the, you know, the bubbles that are in each of these major asset classes, whether he wins or Democrats win or Republicans win or Democrats win the housing Congress, it doesn't really change the fact that we have the biggest bubble of all time in all the big major asset classes. And he's kind of prepositioning, I think, for two things. One is he's prepositioning a loss, which we'll talk about his kind of uphill battle to get Republicans reelected.
- 5:58I think he's lost a lot of support amongst his base. A lot of my clients, which a lot of my clients happen to be, and I'll I'll share some anecdotal thoughts or stuff there. So he's prepositioning a loss, but he's also prepositioning the inevitability of this thing that we will actually have. And I'll note that Trump has, throughout the last couple of years and even in his first term and while Biden was president as well, he has actually marked some of the biggest signals to get in or get out or to buy like liberation day, May of or 04/01/2025, pardon me. When he announced tariffs and the stock market crashed and a couple weeks later, said this is a great time to buy.
- 6:41He wasn't wrong. It actually... You know, it's fastest recovery we've ever seen in the stock market. And right now, he's kinda telling you this is going to happen. But I don't think it actually matters on, whether or not the Democrats are elected or not.
- 6:54Now
- 6:54Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, see, that's an important point too is because... And, I... I'm... I've become less interested in politics, right, just to put it lightly.
- 7:04You know, I just think that it's oftentimes... It's two sides of the same coin. Right? But what you are seeing is with this announcement, but also with, you know, him promising $5,000 to every adult if the GOP can, you know, kind of win in the midterms. The...
- 7:21I mean, it's... To me, it's hard to look at this and think, well, how is that not bribing votes? But, again, I'm not trying to comment on what's happening at the... In the election specifically. I'm looking at the bigger picture, and the bigger picture for me here is that it seems like that and also may...
- 7:36Basically threatening and saying, look, if the Democrats win, we are going to have a great depression. Those are pretty extreme, positions to take heading into an election. I also think that he very well knows that a lot of Americans are struggling. They're struggling with the gas prices, with inflation, with the jobs market, you know, the AI eating away at jobs. And so, you know, a lot of Americans, they will vote based upon their wallet.
- 8:02And so... But if you look at the, again, the bigger picture of this, it's these things, think, especially what you talk about with the whole idea of the depression, you know, these aren't things that are just kind of made up ideas. Right? These are... This is very real.
- 8:18It's not like he's gonna throw a fit and cause a depression. Right? I think that there are a lot of signals, as as I mentioned, kinda leading into this, that a lot of people are saying that, yeah, like, any day now, this is a reality based upon all of these different factors.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Exactly. And I think that that $5,000 dividend to every adult, you know, every, you know, man and woman in America is his plan for if Republicans are elected. He knows that the stage is still set for an absolutely massive stock market housing bond market crash, but what he's saying is vote for us and we'll give you this money. And just for the record, that's like... I've done the math.
- 9:00It's $1,200,000,000,000 of new money from somewhere to be able to come up with this cash. And if he's gonna push that into the economy by... You know, there's no strings attached. It's just, you know, $5,000 in every... Everyone's bank accounts.
- 9:15If he's gonna do that, he'll probably delay the inevitable, you know, stock market crash, recession, depression because he's just papering it over with cash. So he's kinda saying, vote for them and this thing's going down right away. And he probably would almost force it and say, hey. I told you so. I said don't vote for them.
- 9:34But if he can get in, knows again that it's an inevitability that we're already on this collision course. Right? We are on a a basically an intractable path for a massive financial crisis. He at least will delay the inevitable for a little bit by papering it over. So I don't know where they're coming up with 1,200,000,000,000 now that we're over 40,000,000,000,000 in in in debt, but, you know, obviously, they don't care about that anymore.
- 9:59They don't care about the debt. They don't care about the currency failing. They just need to, again, buy political will and do political favors. And that's actually one of my biggest... I've said before we hit record, one of my most unpopular opinions is that democracy sucks.
- 10:13Because every two years, you have to be in this new round of promising everything and and spending all this money to to basically buy votes, and we're just digging ourselves in an even bigger hole. Whereas a, benign dictatorship like China or The Middle East or Saudi Arabia, these guys just have a hundred year strategic direction. They're just charging forward to accomplish those things to become a dominant power. Whereas we are essentially just a weather vane that's you know, flipping around. And like you said, I'm so disenfranchised with politics.
- 10:41I don't care if it's red or blue, right or left, up or down. It's just a weather vane that's basically turning in circles. And every two years, you're back in an election cycle, and it's... We're getting nothing done.
- 10:54Speaker 1: So I actually wanna tell you about something that actually I take. Right? So I interviewed these guys from Neutronics, and so this is called the Neutronics Man's Edge Natural Testosterone Booster. So I've been really trying to work on testosterone, working out, you know, heavy lifting, you know, supplements, looking at my diet, etcetera, and this is something honestly, like, I can tell you, I take it, I take a couple, droppers per day, it's actually really good. Like, I feel how it affects me.
- 11:21So basically, what it is, it is specifically designed for men who are determined to improve their health, right, vitality, and overall performance. And so there's a handful of things in this that really, really help, especially specifically boost your testosterone. Things like long jack, fenugreek is another one, a few other things, there's n o two in there. There's also this IGF one. So they they...
- 11:40They're something they derive from deer antler velvet, which directly, so IGF one stands for insulin like growth right? So it's often gets called the the master growth factor in the body. And so its job is to tell your cells to basically grow, repair, and regenerate tissue. So your IGF-one levels actually drop after you get past age 21, start dropping. And so low levels, they're associated with reduced muscle, loss of strength, also decline in your cognitive function, you know, your mood, and everything.
- 12:09And so, you know, boosting your IGF one is really essential for muscle recovery, supporting healthy immune system, and all that kinda stuff, which is really good. This is the world's strongest natural IGF one is what this is in this. And so, again, like, I personally take it. I feel the effects of it. I feel like it's actually...
- 12:25It kinda gives me a little boost in my mood, more energy, my workouts are better. Whether you're a man watching this or if you're a wife and you say, hey, you know, your husband to kinda boost these things for himself, I recommend giving it a try. Like, honestly, it it tastes nice. Like, you know, I I use it daily. I don't I don't like recommending things I wouldn't use myself.
- 12:41So if you wanna check it out, you go to neutronicslabs.com/seth, this will be in the description. You get 50% off with auto ship and you get a free platinum bottle of IGF one. So use code Seth for an extra 10% off. So again, it's gonna be in the description below, so go to neutronicslabs.com/seth, and you'll get that special deal there. You mentioned being disenfranchised.
- 13:04And I think that that's... If you look... Again, if you look at the... You know, basically saying, hey, we're gonna we're gonna pay you to vote for the Republican Party. If you...
- 13:13If we don't win, the economy's gonna crash to Depression era levels, which is very frightening. I think those are indicative of probably some polling that they've done. And I think that, you know, in mentioning disenfranchised, I think there's a lot of people that were very, very strong MAGA. Maybe some are still... They still are, and maybe they're watching this this show, and they're they're welcome to be here.
- 13:34I'm not gonna... You know, I I don't have TDS. I'm not gonna, you know, ostracize them. But I think that the reality is from what I'm seeing and also what I'm feeling, a lot of people, I think, have just given up on the system. Like, they've just realized that, yeah, that this is a system that...
- 13:49You see, democracy sucks. It's, yeah, like, you know, the foundation of of this idea of of voting. I think it was really set in place as a way to make sure we can't make any change. Right? I think it was designed from the very beginning to give us a system that we think that we can pour all of our energy into an effect where they've got hidden hands controlling these things.
- 14:07And so I think there's a lot of people that are just saying, I'm kinda done. Right? And it's it's scary. Right? But but, actually, I wanna pull up...
- 14:14This is a poll that Thomas Massey did about, you know, a little over a week ago. And now, again, now Thomas Massey is someone that... You know, it's not like he's Ted Cruz. Right? So he's someone that is...
- 14:26Has has a strong quarrel with Trump administration. He's got a lot of issues with Israel, which has further separated him from a lot of the other politicians that are taking money from Israel and all those things that we're aware of. But he put this poll out, and he still represents a large portion of the base. And he says, polling fellow registered Republicans. What are you doing this election?
- 14:46Please explain or meme why. Thanks. And so first off, let's pull out a quarter of these results, know, 25% roughly, say show results, I'm not Republican. Okay. So of the remaining three that voted, the larger majority said they're just staying home.
- 15:01Right? And so this is a poll that got 86,000 votes. And, you know, again, 30% said we're opting out of the system. You know, 23% said they're still gonna vote Republican, and then 22% are actually switching over to Democrat. So, again, if we pull out that quarter of people that weren't Republicans voting, it's kinda simplifying it.
- 15:21It's roughly one third of those will still vote Republican, one third are not gonna vote at all, and one third are voting Democrat or, third party. And Yeah. So this... I mean, this right here to me is very indicative of where this nation is at. And so, again, a lot of the signs are showing that the Republicans are having a worse and worse chance at winning the midterms.
- 15:48And if you couple that with what Trump just said about, hey. If we don't win, there's going to be a great depression two point o. It's... This isn't a scenario to take lightly.
- 16:01Speaker 2: No. Exactly. And I I see that poll and a couple of things I'll note is one huge sample size. So 85,000, voters. Now on Twitter, there'll be complaints that it's, you know, it's not scientific.
- 16:12It's not this. It's not that. But he gave people an option to say, I'm seeing this and I'm voting on this, but I'm not a republican. So strip that out. So what is it?
- 16:2030% or, 25%. So twenty five percent eighty five thousand. So, you know, there's 22,000 people that are, you know, voting on it that shouldn't be counted. But for a third of people who are identifying as Republicans to say that they're staying home, that just, you know, tells you like I am, disenfranchised voter apathy has never been higher. And it's because of the things you said.
- 16:42Trump had promised so many things, and he actually had a pretty good start. I remember thinking, you know, January, February, March 2025 that he was on a roll with Doge, but then that fizzled out. He was going to, you know, lock up everybody that had involvement in the Epstein files, and that turned into a massive debacle. And there's still a whole bunch of secrets and, you know, information that's being hidden there. There's so many things we're saying.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Including the the whistleblower on Howard Lutnick that that went forward, and he ends up dead. Right? He he gets suicided for, you know, one of Trump's right hand men.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Exactly. And this idea that, you know, Trump as a savior was gonna write things and get everybody back on track, and then we're all just disappointed. Right? And that's typical
- 17:27Speaker 1: Yeah. No new wars. You know, low gas prices, low... I mean, these, you know, these are... He's done some good things, but, I also wanna be objective and say, okay.
- 17:36Well, here's the other things that either haven't been done or have been done that he said he wouldn't do.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Exactly. And I voted for him, and he was definitely the lesser of two evils back in, you know, 2024 and and again in '20, you know, 2020 and 2020 or 2016. But the the problem is that, you know, in politics, again, that political weather vain is you're just glad handing and promise making and you're always trying to win votes and you're just spinning your tires running around in circles every couple years trying to make... You know, trying to get back into office. Now we've got a pretty clear promise.
- 18:04You can have $5,000 out of nowhere, or you can have an economic depression. And he's trying to... You know, it's pretty desperate, but he knows, I think, again, that political prepositioning. He's essentially telling you in advance what you're going to get if you do vote a certain way, and he knows that all the ingredients, are already there. The recipe already basically...
- 18:24It's already cooked. Like, the, again, the intractable path toward an economic depression or an economic recession, that is there. It's just, you know, are we gonna get it right away on day one of of... After the election, or is he gonna be able to delay it for a little bit before they come up with some other reason that it's happened and maybe he can paper paper it over with this stuff. But I think, yeah, just the the idea that no one's coming to save you.
- 18:50I'm a kind of small l libertarian now. You know, I think Massey's similar. I think there's some other good congress people who who, think similarly. But I think you just have to have your life pretty much sorted out on your own, and this stuff that's gonna happen is gonna happen with or without you. And I think it was Mark Twain that said, know, voting was really that important or that consequential, they wouldn't let us do it.
- 19:14Right? So, you know, and not to be cynical, but I think that's pretty much where we're at. And in this fourth turning kind of end of empires thing, just you're gonna have more and more voter apathy as time goes on. And when you look at the other side of it, like look at Madame in New York, you've essentially got like a Marxist mayor that also is kind of a symptom of voter apathy is like they just feel like they're only gonna vote people in who promised them the world and are gonna give them all this free stuff. Now obviously a lot of us are smarter than to, you know, fall for that, but a lot of people are just desperate and, you know, people aren't making it.
- 19:55People are living paycheck to paycheck and hand to mouth. And and if you can get $5,000 promised to you or government run grocery store at 50% the cost promised to you or whatever it is, like it's... We're on a road really for... To to destruction. And I think this...
- 20:10All of our public institutions are failing us. They have been for a very long time, but it's just it's never been more evident that we're all feeling extremely let down with our leaders, with our institutions, and we'll get to a point where things, you know, do reset. And I think obviously this comes kind of on the other side of a financial crisis, which is coming. That'll trigger, you know, money printing like we've never seen. I think that'll be the last big print before the currency probably fails and the financial system globally gets restructured to one that, you know, is backed by gold and silver.
- 20:44And I think on the other side of that, we're gonna be, you know, probably in a new prosperous, you know, kinda like a post war era in nineteen nineteen fifties America. Like, everybody was super well off. Everything was great. But before we can get to that side or the, know, that's the light at the end of the tunnel, we've actually gotta go through there and we've gotta go through the crisis that we've got ahead of us. Now I wanna go back to one thing that I said because I think that we've got another thing introduced over the last week or so which is extremely scary to me and brings back a lot of COVID PTSD stuff.
- 21:16But I was saying we're on an intractable path to a huge correction, an economic depression, a stock market crash, a popping of the everything bubble. You can get... You'll get it right away if you vote democrat. You'll get $5,000 if you vote republican. But either way, we're going to get there.
- 21:32But this other Russian plague... Mnemonic plague issue that's been brought into the mix is probably the pin that pops the everything bubble. It's just about when. Right? So this thing is now spread, and you've got one casualty.
- 21:47And I'm sure you've covered in another episode with people more qualified than me to speak about all the weird dots that can be connected on this. The... What is it? The first COVID death and the first...
- 22:00Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. The the first the first COVID death. Six years, six months, six days.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Six days. Taylor Swift.
- 22:07Speaker 1: The Patient Zero.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Patient Zero, new hit single comes out on the day that the actual Patient Zero dies in Russia from this lab exposure. Again, the conspiracy theory is probably will write themselves but it's because it's convenient. All Why do we have an outbreak every single election cycle? Or I think it's every six
- 22:26Speaker 1: years Every six years there's a new outbreak, right?
- 22:28Speaker 2: Right. So it was SARS in o two and then swine flu in o eight and then Ebola in 2014 and then COVID in 2020. And then we've got this. And and again, it's like if Trump gets reelected or if the republican... Republicans get reelected and he has both houses, great.
- 22:46He's still not going to be able to essentially avoid an economic recession or a major popping of the everything bubble. But what he can blame it on then is the introduction of this incredibly convenient virus that has a, what, a fatality rate of ninety percent or something ridiculous. And I'm just like, okay. Here we go again. I've seen this movie before.
- 23:08And that's how I feel all the time. It's like even if I'm... You ever have that feeling, Seth, where you're like, you watch a new movie, but essentially, it's like there are already only so many archetypes and plot
- 23:18Speaker 1: structures that
- 23:18Speaker 2: are like you... Brand new movie, but you're like, I know how this ends. Jesus. Like, you know, okay, great. Here we go again.
- 23:26So I feel like that right now. But again, on my own personal preparedness, whether it's energy, food, water, self protection, all those things, like, I can't do anything more. I'm just hoping that we don't have this turn into something bigger. I hope it's one of these... Because we've had different ones.
- 23:44Like, what was it? Monkeypox a couple years ago that
- 23:47Speaker 1: came I
- 23:47Speaker 2: think there
- 23:48Speaker 1: was Ebola.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Nothing burgers, and that's fine. If this is a nothing burger a few weeks or a few months from now, great. But I, again, feel like it's way too convenient. It... It's just part of the narrative that will allow Trump, if Republicans are reelected, to explain why he lost control and there was already a big, you know, economic recession, depression anyway.
- 24:08He'll just blame it on the
- 24:10Speaker 1: You mentioned the fourth turning, which I think is is a really important concept. I think it's it's really important for understanding where we're at. And and it's not just the the fourth turning of a nation. I think we're at almost a global fourth turning where I think people can sense it too, right, that we're heading into some sort of reset. And I I don't think it's a great reset that the elites have told us.
- 24:30I think that that what they're trying to do is they're trying to latch on to an existing reset that's already coming. And, you know, whether it's a flood two point o, this... You know, I've covered this pretty extensively. You know, why are the elites all building bunkers? And and I don't wanna approach this from a fear mongering perspective, but I wanna approach it from just a more historical perspective, just where things are at.
- 24:52Right? Because if if we're not willing to take a sober look at where we are in the cycles of history, then we will oftentimes end up, you know, being a falling victim to the cycles of history. And there's actually a, a post on Twitter I wanted to... I say that I didn't think about for this conversation when you mentioned that. And I think you mentioned people have become...
- 25:13They've just lost, you know, they've just lost faith in the system. So this a post that was out there. I'm gonna read through it really quickly, just not very long. It says that you'd think that given all the knowledge and history that we have access to, we... We'd work tirelessly to prevent civilization collapse.
- 25:27From what I've read, which is only a fraction of the studies on civilization collapse, several warning signs repeatedly appear. I'll read through these real quick. People gradually stop believing that the institutions governing society are competent, fair, or worthy of obedience. Elites become detached from the society they govern, then too many ambitious elites compete for too few positions of prestige and power. Different groups no longer agree on what the civilization fundamentally is, maintaining cooperation becomes increasingly difficult, economic complexity becomes difficult to sustain, declining civilizations frequently begin consuming resources that would otherwise belong to their future, demographic problems emerge, ideology becomes more important than reality, social trust deteriorates, and finally, people stop believing the future will be better.
- 26:17A healthy society is a shared purpose, social trust, competent institutions, knowledge creation, error correction, long term investment and adaptability. We are far from that today. But I hope we have access to so much information that we will prevent our society from falling. We just have to work together, which I I hope that too, but I don't have a lot of faith in that. But I think this person really highlighted, not just some opinion, but I think that this is this is someone who's actually studied civilizational collapse.
- 26:43And I would say that we check off all of these boxes in a very Exactly. Very solid way.
- 26:48Speaker 2: Yeah. How many of those things are present today, like, just materially, unarguably? How many of these things are we experiencing? I'd say pretty much all of them. Right?
- 26:56And and, again, these are the things that manifest and the symptoms of a fourth turning. And, you know, I think it's probably worth covering the fourth turning at some point or if you actually wanna get, you know, Neil Howe on, who's the surviving author of the original fourth turning. William Strauss passed away, but Neil Howe actually updated and said... Had his book in 2024, the fourth turning is here. And he essentially puts the early to mid thirties as the time, the pinnacle, the climax for the shift in the turnings.
- 27:23And, essentially, it's... You know, the previous fourth turning ended with World War two. And then, like I said, the postwar phase, that first turning of the new saeculum, which is these chunks of eighty to a... Chunks of time, eighty to a hundred years with the four chapters, the four turnings. Well, the fourth turning is always a climatic, very terrible event, a climactic kind of game changer paradigm changing event.
- 27:51And then the new first turning is an extremely prosperous time. I have no doubt that we will get to that point. I think it's gonna be a new sound money system where we're kind of run like a republic again, people are actually in charge, that the people in government are actually afraid of the people and working for and respecting the will of the people. And it's just everything's so upside down. Everything's turned, everything works completely the opposite of the way that it's supposed to.
- 28:14You know, health isn't working in your best interest, your health's best interest. The finance isn't working in the best interest of your finances. You know, the government's not working in the best interest of you as a person. They're working in the best interest of themselves and lining their own pockets and making sure that their families are taken care of while they're in these positions of power. And it's just not the way it's supposed to work.
- 28:34So like you said, it's like, if we only kind of realize maybe where we're at in the cycle, if it was more common knowledge that we're kind of like speeding towards the end here, I think a lot of people would be more prepared and would have kind of, you know, and maybe would sort of speed up at that point and we'd be better off. But I think we still have this kind of slow downward spiral that just gets to a point where it's completely untenable. And I think we already are there depending on where you're at. There's ways to improve your situation personally, obviously, and to kinda make the most of where we're at in this cycle. And, unfortunately, it does imply that the next few years are going to be the worst part of this transition to a better time.
- 29:14You've gotta... You know, essentially, it's... You know, things will get worse before they get better, but they will end up getting better. You And just wanna make sure that you can actually get to the other side of that. So I think that's a really important post and the historical context is like, you know, this has happened before tons of times.
- 29:30You just have to be kind of aware of, you know, what the symptoms are when when you get close to the end of, of fourth turning.
- 29:36Speaker 1: And and I think that, you know, it's not a it's not a doom and gloom perspective. I mean, I think that one of my kind of favorite things to study is the the philosophy of stoicism, Right? Where... And, you know, the stoics, know, whether it's Marcus Aurelius or even, you know, some of the people that kinda came from him that he was studying. It's not a it's not a perspective of just, like, you know, being doom and glooming, but it's also not not a perspective of just wearing these rosy lens glasses where you think that everything's always gonna be fine.
- 30:02It's about just having a very sober, rational perspective of, okay. These are the events that are happening, and these events are what are the events. And and often as I have no control over those events themselves, I can only control my reaction to the events. And the one thing also I like about stoicism is that, you know, a lot of the more famous stoics, they they were actually... They really looked and they kind of play war gamed out the negative scenarios, not because they were doomers, but because they wanted to be rational in looking at, okay, well, my empire could fall if this invading army comes and does this, or if this happens to our currency.
- 30:40And so they would actually kind of play out the different scenarios. So that way, they have a very just neutral and sober viewpoint of where things could be going. And that's where... This is kind of how I look at our society today. It's like, I'm actually...
- 30:57I'm excited to get to the other side of this because, you know, the more I've woken up, the more you realize that this... The system is just... Is completely rotted out. I mean, it's a system that's been rotted out for centuries and centuries and centuries. It's not gonna happen in the last twenty years.
- 31:12I mean, we've been ruled by very, very evil, powerful families and bloodlines for a very long time. And they have very intentionally led us into this stage of history where we are right now. And I think they understand that there is some sort of cyclical turning happening, and they want to use that to their advantage. But I also think that, you know, you look back at, you know, a lot of the more biblical stories, it didn't matter how well they planned. I mean, look at the the the tenth and the final plague, right, within Egypt, when they thought, oh, they're gonna take out the firstborn sons of all of the, you know, all of the enemy.
- 31:45But actually, what happens overnight is that God comes in, he wipes out all the firstborn sons of the Egyptians. And so you had this idea. It's like, it doesn't matter, you know, how many billions the elites are building on their bunkers. You know, can they can they escape some sort of divine judgment? It's like, no.
- 32:02Right? They can't. They're... We're we're just humans. Right?
- 32:04What... You know, we build a Tower Of Babel to escape when our flood's coming. And so, you know, I think that it's just a lot of it does come into what we can control. Right? What what can we actually do and just being very rational about that.
- 32:18Speaker 2: Yeah. And I I think that's right. And I think it's like, you know, come hell or high water, what can I do to be prepared? And if I have all this stuff and it's, you know, food, water, guns, ammo, gold, silver, faith, community, I'm set. But I would rather not need any of that stuff.
- 32:33Right? I would rather be in a position where, you know, the the worst does not come to pass and that all my preparations are kind of, you know, done for not. I would rather that situation because it implies that essentially that, you know, kind of doomsday scenario never came never came about. But I'm again, less hopeful, but I don't worry about it. And I try not to live in this doom and gloom mentality.
- 32:56And again, it's because I've already done what I can to essentially have, you know, again, the best outlook. I'm hoping for the best, but I'm preparing for the worst. And what's interesting about this fourth turning which I'm gonna say this not again to kind of fear monger whatsoever but what's a little bit different is that technology this time around I think will be used for, you know, the worse. I think that the elites which normally in a fourth turning get kind of, you know, thrown under the bus and then they all get, you know, hung in the public square and the people rise up and they form new institutions based on accountability and the sound of money and all these things. You know, that's what normally happens through these kinds of revolutions and these big pivotal paradigm changes.
- 33:42But if the elites and the powers that be now kind of know history as much as we do. And if, again, it's like with Trump and this economic disaster that's coming either way, if he knows that... If we know that, he knows that. Now if the powers that be that are in charge, the cabal understands how foreturnings go, they know that is coming, and they might try to prevent this four turning from being successful and actually throwing, you know, the powers that be under the bus and and holding them accountable and hanging them in the public square through technology, could be through central bank digital currencies, through, like we've talked about in past shows, like an AI or cyber attack event that trains everyone's bank accounts, you can only get that money back if you're signing on to this new CBDC or you know, if they do cause a depression, they'll give everybody, universal basic income, which is kind of what Trump is even proposing with this $5,000. It's not ongoing.
- 34:34It's a onetime dividend.
- 34:35Speaker 1: Elon Musk mentioned it recently. He mentioned... Elon mentioned u... UHI, universal high income. It's like, well, if everyone's getting the same income, how is it high or low?
- 34:44Right? But then, you know, Trump Trump was kinda like, yeah. That's good. Right? So he's
- 34:48Speaker 2: And the currency unit and the currency unit, what happens to that? Right? And it's like, you know, if we're all making a million dollars a year, you know, if we're all millionaires, then a million dollars is nothing. What does it cost to get a coffee down the street? Like, $500,000?
- 35:01You know, if they're going to go that route, then I think it's going to create issues, obviously. And and so I've still done what I can to evade that by holding tangible assets, holding physical gold and silver, by having the things that I think that I need. And this is where I think things are inevitably gonna go. You could have a big crisis that's again delayed by the institution or implementation of like a digital version of Fiat or a digital CBDC. But if that CBDC is still backed by nothing, it'll eventually fail as well.
- 35:29And so I have no doubt they'll do everything they can to prevent this fourth turning from coming to its kind of climax and, you know, from ushering in a new and more prosperous era. But again, I'm not saying that because I'm doubtful that we'll end up in a better place. I think that we really will. I choose to believe that. It's just that we've got a pretty big battle on our hands.
- 35:51And again, the only thing to really try to do for yourself and for your family is to try to make, you know, make the best of your situation, try to make the most of it and be as prepared as you can be. And I hate coming back to that all the time, but that's just that's just my view of it. And I think that's when you can really relax and really enjoy life and really sleep well and have that peace of mind is to know you've done everything you can. I can't do anything else, then I'm not gonna worry about it. I'm just gonna go about my way and, you know, do whatever it is that brings you pleasure.
- 36:19Right? And if you're not prepared, those are the people who I talk to all the time who are like, oh my god. I'm freaking out. I need this done. I need this done now.
- 36:26And, you know, we can help you and we can get you done, you know, get your precious metals acquired for you and we'll work with you and we'll guide you. But, you know, the people who I call who are the most stressed out are the people who have done the least to kind of, again, insulate themselves from, you know, vulnerabilities here and there. And of course, I'm talking about where I can help, which is with precious metal, but there's all those other areas that you need to focus on as well, like your physical and mental and spiritual well-being and then all the other things as far as like resources go. So yeah, I just can't emphasize enough that I think that between election cycles and the monetary system and this new outbreak and this other stuff, they're setting they're setting us us up for failure, basically. And most people are going to get hit really hard because, again, I've shared with you, like, 95 plus percent of people are still in stocks and bonds for their whole net worth except for what's in their house.
- 37:18But we have bubbles in all three of those areas. So, like, I think you could see... Yeah. And Trump said it, worse than 1929. That's what he said.
- 37:26A depression like we've never seen, worse than 1929. So I hope he's wrong, but we'll have to see how that all goes.
- 37:34Speaker 1: And so... And I wanna get your perspective on... Just your personal perspective of why you look to precious metals as a way of being prepared. But before I do that, I also just wanna just throw something out there, because I know a lot of people that are watching the show, you know, a lot of people are struggling, right? And this is part of the issue, that there's lot of that are working two, three, four jobs between them and their wife, barely getting by, taxes are going up, everything's getting more expensive.
- 37:58And so I don't wanna frame this in a way that, that, like, only those who can afford a a stock of, you know, a year worth of food, a bunch of ammo, and, you know, stacks of gold and silver that only they were... That only they will get through. Because if that was the case, we're all screwed, and only the billion dollar elites are gonna get through. Like, if that was the measuring stick. So I'd say that for people who are listening, if you're in a position where you really can afford, whether it's a bunch of food or gold and silver, you know, be careful not to develop a a defeatist mentality.
- 38:28Be be... You know, don't get into that thinking of, well, I'm screwed because there's there's still so much more you can do. You can learn skills. Right? You live in a in a little one bedroom apartment and you're struggling in in, like, the suburbs of a bigger city.
- 38:40You know, every weekend, find a local farmer. We can go and help them out, volunteer for half a day with the farmer, helping them to to run their farm. Because then, let's just say there isn't sort of collapse or some sort of bigger bigger problem, you've got a resource. You can go there and you can say, look, I'll continue... I'll I'll work for you to help run your farm amidst this collapse.
- 38:57Oh, yeah. If you give me a bed and and you put food on the table. So there's a lot of different ways that people can become resilient and and and really kind of get through something like this that don't involve spending money. So I wanna highlight that just to start.
- 39:10Speaker 2: I couldn't agree I couldn't agree more. And it's funny because I always joke like... I try to sound, like a dick here, but, you know, I... I'm not handy. I'm not handy.
- 39:19I hopefully make up for it. And and, you know, you gotta be handsome or handy is what my mom always told me. I'm like, shit. You know, if you're neither, you're
- 39:26Speaker 1: really screwed,
- 39:26Speaker 2: but at least at least I make up for my lack of being handy. And it's funny because I've learned a lot on my homestead, hobby farming the last year and a half. I've learned a bunch of little skills. I try to take care of what I can, but inevitably, you're dealing with a septic tank. You're dealing with a well.
- 39:40I have to do a new roof. I have to figure out who I can trust to come and help me with that. So if you have the actual skill, that's huge. And you're right. The benchmark isn't...
- 39:50If you can't have a, you know, thousand ounces of silver, then you shouldn't bother stacking at all. I think having five or 10 ounces at home should be more than enough. Again, like, I have, you know, maybe hundreds and thousands of ounces, but I hope I don't need one of them. Right? I don't hope I I hope I don't need any ounces of silver to be able to barter my way out of some situation where this currency is hyperinflated or people refuse to accept it or see it as money or take it as a form of payment.
- 40:15So having some is good, but there's other barterable items. We've talked about
- 40:19Speaker 1: No. Even cigarettes. I mean, it's... Cigarettes, zins.
- 40:22Speaker 2: Get it. You know, like, how a few sleeves... Sleeves of zins. Like, that stuff is is currency now.
- 40:28Speaker 1: Like, little, two shot. 22. Oh, sorry. The little two shot alcohols. Right?
- 40:33But even... Yes. Because, like, you know, I I listen to a lot. Like, I listen to... I probably listen to, you know, 50 different books on kind of fictional scenarios of collapse situations.
- 40:42And one thing you see all nonstop is that one of the biggest currencies in that kind of situation is even little 22 bullets where you might go to the the local kind of barter and and and the kind of swap meet in your in your area. You might go and say, hey. Look. I'll give you two rounds of 22 for, you know, a fresh loaf, you know, loaf of bread or whatever. So it's it's not...
- 41:02Exactly. Exactly.
- 41:03Speaker 2: And we we just made a barter with some friends. So I had goats, as you know, but we had, like, three males that... Like, my my thing now is I don't really wanna have animals that are really contributing to, like the overall kind of system. So it's like, if we're not getting eggs, if we're not getting meat, if we're not getting milk, if we're not getting something, I'm kind of like, it just ends up at that point being kind of a pet and not that there's any problem with that, but it's like, I'm trying to get something back. So I traded three weathered male goats for four Muscovy ducks.
- 41:35And I've got one male and three hens, so one drake and three hens. And in the spring, I should be getting, like, 10 chicks per hen. And so I'm gonna have, like, 30 ducks. And from 30 ducks, get, like, 30, 40 pounds of of duck meat. So next spring, we'll have that as a...
- 41:55But then with 30 ducks, I'm gonna end up with, like, 300 essentially. Right? So it's it's these barters where, you know, I traded the goats for essentially another form of, like, protein supply. Right? And it's not gonna be the main thing that we're eating off of all the time, but it's just another little help.
- 42:12And so it doesn't need to be a year worth of my Patriot Supply. It could be a week's worth. It could be two days worth. I think having anything is better than than having nothing. And like you said, it doesn't need to be material.
- 42:23It could be skill. It could be knowledge. It could be whatever. And that's where, like, I always say it's like food, water, guns, ammo, faith, and community because you have to have the guy. Right?
- 42:31You have to have the guy who can do a fence post. You have the guy that can do, you know, whatever. And you have to have this little network of like minded individuals that can help each other You because can't do that on your own. You're not gonna get through something like a foreturning on your own. You have to have a system.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Exactly. And so with with with gold and silver in particular Yeah. What are your... Kinda looking at the financial situation, looking at everything, looking at the stock market for people that are... You know, maybe have a little bit, but maybe they've got a lot sitting in in stocks and bonds or, you know, whatever different assets they might have.
- 43:05Why do you view gold and silver as, I would say, one of the keys in terms of preserving wealth, in terms of getting yourself through whatever the... This kind of fourth turning is and not having your entirety of of your assets you've worked so hard for, wiped out? Why do you focus in on this?
- 43:25Speaker 2: Yeah. The the only form of money that's around today that was around two thousand years ago in the exact same form are physical gold and silver. And, you know, currencies come and go, countries come and go, banks come and go, companies come and go, stocks come and go. You know, I think that you need to think of, obviously, the overall picture of, like, what part of your wealth is actually completely immune to any risk at all. And that's not to say the gold and silver price can't fluctuate because essentially it's reflecting the unit of measurement that we use to price them and the dollar has been strengthening with rates that are going up.
- 44:03And we've talked about how, you know, people selling bonds pushes rates up and not to get complicated, but essentially, it's just all short term noise. I know that my gold and silver will always be there for me. I've done extremely well on it because I consider myself to be kind of an early adopter, adopter but I think people even buying now at much higher prices than when you and I started accumulating, they're early adopters too. There's less than 1% of people who are even holding physical gold and silver. But again, as the kind of safest, oldest, most time tested, and and simplest, it's a...
- 44:35It's a... It's an asset class I don't think about. I don't... Obviously, I look at the charts every day because I'm interested and I like technicals, but I'm also, you know, dealing in the space professionally. So I wanna know, you know, what we're selling and where prices are at, but I don't think my...
- 44:50About my portfolio. I don't check my own portfolio. I don't even think about my own portfolio, and it's like everything else. Now that it's set and I'm prepared and I've done everything I can, I basically don't have to think about it? I don't worry about it.
- 45:01I just know it's gonna be there no matter what. So the additional reason to consider it is not just because it's always going to be there. It's outside of the dollar, which we could see major issues with, and it's outside of the banks, which we could see major issues with, and it's outside of the stock market which we'll see major issues with. It's again insulated and protected from all these other risks but it's also because if we do through this fourth turning end up in a situation that I've described where the elites through technology are trying to essentially avoid being toppled this time because they can introduce CBDCs and social credit scores and this and that. I know that that form of my wealth is completely off grid.
- 45:41It is completely unmanaged or untied and untethered from the financial system. It can't be digitized. It can't be this and that. And and you and I, if we were neighbors, Seth, I could come over with, you know, any of my any of my silver that I keep in my desk for fun and, you know, just say, hey. You know?
- 45:58Like, I need... Here's a one ounce silver bar. I need whatever. Do you have a chicken for me today? Or or whatever the case may be.
- 46:04And we could barter off grid unbeknownst to anyone. Any government, any institution has no idea that you and I are transacting in good faith with the, again, OG form of money, the only real form of money, the constitutionally recognized forms of money. And so not to make it a big push on gold and silver, but it's just it's essentially it's one of the only risk free assets, right? That actually pays you extraordinarily well during these cycles where the conditions are set again for the safest assets to also be the most rewarding. Right?
- 46:38I always tell people don't put anything into gold and silver that you can't hold on to for at least a couple years. And that's not because you have to hold it. You can buy it today and sell it tomorrow if you want. But anyone who purchased from me or from Noble Gold two years or more ago, they've all tripled their accounts. You know, gold's more than doubled in the last two years.
- 46:58Silver's more than doubled in just the last year. If you were buying silver two and three years ago, it's triple. It's it's tripled. So in another two years from the current price point of what, 4,000 in gold and 60 in silver, two years from now I have no doubt we'll have doubled and tripled again. But the idea is it's not a trade, it's long term protection, it's a long term buy and hold, it's a it's it's a form of financial insurance.
- 47:23It's the ultimate form of money. But in the right circumstances, it's not only where you're safest, but it's also where you're kinda making the most. And in this fourth turning and on the other side when we're in the next sacculum and we're in this extremely prosperous era and the, you know, the early parts of the next first turning, I think the big transfer of wealth from those that own intangible assets to those who actually own, like, tangible commodities is gonna be huge. And I think the biggest beneficiaries of this transfer of wealth from fake stuff and fake money and fake health and fake government and fake everything, like all these failing institutions, will be the people who own all the real stuff and are really focused on the right things. And so I think, you know, those of us who own even just a little bit of precious metal will come out on top in better shape than we could have ever imagined as this, inevitable, you know, transition, takes place.
- 48:14Speaker 1: Yeah. I mean, I I honestly couldn't agree more. You know, that... Those are the exact reasons why I've bought it, and I just I just held it. And occasionally, if I had to sell some, it's like, There's a process for that.
- 48:24It's not not too difficult. Right? But... So now if someone wants to contact you, which I I... You know, just, you know, full disclosure, my...
- 48:32Even my mom worked with you. Like, you helped my mom Yeah. Know, through her IRA. I know. So I I I trust you guys enough to send my own mother to you.
- 48:41Speaker 2: I know.
- 48:41Speaker 1: So people
- 48:42Speaker 2: Huge compliment. Thank you.
- 48:43Speaker 1: Of course, man. So people can email email you. There's also... So I'll let you give your email, but we've got a web form. So to make it easy, it's just goldwithseth dot com.
- 48:54You can fill out a form. You get a wealth kit on there. You can also call (877) 646-5347. That information will be in the show description, but also Bill can just email you directly. Right?
- 49:04Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. So I feel like that's a really easy way for people to just, like, take the first step because they're super afraid about calling and then we have your number and, you know, most companies will seek AI agents on you and we, of don't do that. You'll deal with real people and you're in great hands with me or any of my colleagues. We're all investors.
- 49:20We're all just guiding people through the process that we've been through and we're all high conviction investors for the right reasons on the right kind of timeframe. But if you wanna work with me, ask me any questions, you can. So you can email me at micah, so micah,@nobleira.com. But calling and asking for me will work. You can leave me a message or I'll be there to take your call if I'm not on podcast or show or another client call like this.
- 49:45But, Seth, I really appreciate your audience because they're actually, like, some of the best informed. Obviously, that's from the work that you do. So I commend you with the amount of knowledge and education and awareness that you bring through your channel. When people call me and they're like, hey. I'm a big man...
- 50:00Man in America fan. It... They're the best and easiest conversations I can have because they already know everything. They don't really need a... You know, and I'm happy to explain all the stuff that's, you know, biggest specific to gold IRAs or home delivery of gold and silver, but they're totally in the loop and they're the the...
- 50:15Some of the most, like, aware and in tune people that we that we deal with. So thanks again for having me on, and I appreciate our time together.
- 50:22Speaker 1: Absolutely, man. And thank you. And thank you on behalf of my mom who just speaks so highly of you. It's like, I love your interviews with Micah. He's so kind.
- 50:29But yeah. Yeah. Thank you, man. And look forward to catching up soon.
- 50:33Speaker 2: Yeah, me too. For sure. Take care and be well. Thanks, Scott.
- 50:36Speaker 1: You too. Did you know that in the last few centuries, over half a million bells have been destroyed? There were literally bell graveyards. Now the textbooks tell us that this was to use the metal, but if you've ever gone down this rabbit hole, you discover that the sounds that these bells made had amazing healing properties. There are even claims that certain regions with lots of these bells, church bells, etcetera, were mostly untouched by the bubonic plague.
- 51:02Now your doctor might call you a conspiracy nut for thinking that, but even modern science recognizing the healing power of sound. So check out this study from the NIH. Doctors used sound therapy on chronic back pain, and they found, quote, significant reductions in pain sensation and pain related disability. But here's the best part, you don't need some fancy expensive sound equipment to find relief. So a woman named Linda Bamber Olson created something called the WaveWatch.
- 51:31So this little device has over 1,200 frequencies that you can use for everything from joint pain to brain fog to insomnia. So I've got one, and I've been using it for about six months. This is it right here. And I can tell you honestly that it works.
