Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're going to pick up
• 0:06
Speaker 1: where we left off with Doug Band and his interview
• 0:09
Speaker 1: with Congress. Question, I'll admit to you that there is
• 0:13
Speaker 1: an email between you and miss Maxwell. Miss Maxwell is
• 0:16
Speaker 1: speaking to you about sending quote devil slippers to President Clinton.
• 0:21
Speaker 1: Were you aware of her ever sending any gift have
• 0:24
Speaker 1: that time to President Clinton? Answer? No, I don't recall
• 0:27
Speaker 1: that ever happening. Again, it's possible people can do things
• 0:31
Speaker 1: that have nothing to do with me, but I don't
• 0:33
Speaker 1: recall that ever happening. Question, mister Band, it was on
• 0:37
Speaker 1: the Moroccan trip with Epstein. There's a famous photo of
• 0:39
Speaker 1: President Clinton in a swimming pool. Do you recall this
• 0:43
Speaker 1: at all? On this trip? President Clinton sitting in a
• 0:46
Speaker 1: hot tub with a woman whose face is redacted? Answer?
• 0:50
Speaker 1: I do not recall that at all. I saw the
• 0:52
Speaker 1: photo when it was released publicly earlier this year the
• 0:55
Speaker 1: first time. Question did you know who any of the
• 0:59
Speaker 1: women or women weren't any of the photographs? Were the

Speaker 1: the flight log that were also on the Moroccan trip,
• 1:15
Speaker 1: or in the pool or the hot tub. Band I
• 1:17
Speaker 1: don't recall that trip really, other than you're asking about
• 1:20
Speaker 1: the wedding, which I recall a little bit vaguely. But no,
• 1:24
Speaker 1: I don't have any idea, mister Grant, and just show
• 1:27
Speaker 1: the record's clear. You don't recall the photograph being taken
• 1:30
Speaker 1: at the time, mister band No, sir, I wasn't there.
• 1:34
Speaker 1: I have no idea. The first time I saw it
• 1:37
Speaker 1: was probably when you did, mister harn Ice. Outside of
• 1:40
Speaker 1: the flight logs, Are there any other flights on any
• 1:43
Speaker 1: other private aircraft that you took with mister Epstein or
• 1:46
Speaker 1: miss Maxwell band No, not that I recall, mister Harnicce,
• 1:50

• 1:52
Speaker 1: back on redacted asking the questions now, mister band, I
• 1:57
Speaker 1: just have a few remaining questions for you. During the
• 1:59
Speaker 1: time that you knew mister Epstein, what was your understanding
• 2:02
Speaker 1: of his relationship with Donald Trump now President Trump. Answer? Again,
• 2:08
Speaker 1: I had very limited interaction with them, and I didn't
• 2:10
Speaker 1: really know him. I don't know of any interaction or
• 2:13
Speaker 1: relationship with President Trump. Question did mister Epstein ever discuss
• 2:16
Speaker 1: Donald Trump with you? Answer no, not that I can recall.
• 2:20
Speaker 1: Question did Miss Maxwell ever discuss Donald Trump with you?
• 2:24

• 2:27
Speaker 1: discuss a relationship of Jeffrey Epstein and President Trump with
• 2:31
Speaker 1: President Clinton? Answer no, not that I recall. Question. Now,
• 2:35
Speaker 1: it's our understanding that President Clinton once spoke to President
• 2:39
Speaker 1: Trump about Jeffrey Epstein during a charity golf tournament at
• 2:42
Speaker 1: a golf course in New York. The tournament benefited a
• 2:46
Speaker 1: foundation that Joe Torrey was affiliated with. We don't have
• 2:50
Speaker 1: the exact date of this golf outing, but President Clinton
• 2:53
Speaker 1: explained that it may have occurred in two thousand and
• 2:55
Speaker 1: two or two thousand and three. It's possible it occurred
• 2:59
Speaker 1: later than Do you have any knowledge of this conversation?
• 3:03
Speaker 1: Answer no, I do not. Question did President Clinton ever
• 3:07
Speaker 1: speak to you about Donald Trump? Answer generally? Question generally answer,
• 3:12
Speaker 1: I don't recall anything specific. I recall the President way
• 3:16
Speaker 1: before he was president, asking President Clinton to join his
• 3:19
Speaker 1: Trump Westchester Golf Club, and I recall him President Trump
• 3:23
Speaker 1: about attending. There was some talk about him attending Chelsea's wedding,
• 3:29
Speaker 1: and I said, that's up to it's all Chelsea over
• 3:32
Speaker 1: to Chelsea kind of thing. That's all I recall. But
• 3:35
Speaker 1: they weren't really real conversations or anything serious. Question. When
• 3:39
Speaker 1: he was in front of the committee earlier this year,
• 3:41
Speaker 1: President Clinton mentioned that President Trump may have told him
• 3:45
Speaker 1: that he and Epstein quote had some great times together.
• 3:48
Speaker 1: Do you have any idea of what President Trump may
• 3:50
Speaker 1: have meant by that? Answer? I don't know anything about
• 3:53
Speaker 1: that conversation or anything. I don't know. Question And you
• 3:57
Speaker 1: touched on this a bit earlier. Have you ever met
• 3:59
Speaker 1: President Trump? Answer? You know, I've shaken his hand briefly
• 4:03
Speaker 1: at some sort of golf course, at the golf course
• 4:05
Speaker 1: type thing, But no, I don't really know him. Question
• 4:09
Speaker 1: which golf course was that? Answer? Trump, Westchester, the one
• 4:12
Speaker 1: I was referring to earlier. Question And was President Clinton
• 4:16

• 4:38
Speaker 1: kind during that interaction, mister Bend, No, I don't recall.
• 4:42
Speaker 1: I mean again, I don't know if they played golf
• 4:45
Speaker 1: or if he was there at the golf club. Would
• 4:47
Speaker 1: they have had conversations? Certainly possible. I just don't remember
• 4:50
Speaker 1: them having any. Question. All right, mister Band, thank you
• 4:53
Speaker 1: for your time. We'll go off the record. Mister Harness
• 4:56
Speaker 1: will go back on the record. Question, mister Band, I'm
• 4:59

• 5:05
Speaker 1: you do recall who you communicated with, you should answer yes,
• 5:09
Speaker 1: but say you don't recall specifics. I'm going to run
• 5:12

Speaker 1: other staffers of the Clinton Foundation answer? Any other staffers
• 9:27
Speaker 1: that I recall speaking with about Epstein will Again, just
• 9:29
Speaker 1: due to the nature of the involvement of travel and
• 9:32
Speaker 1: those kinds of things, it's certainly possible that I talk
• 9:34
Speaker 1: to people in the Clinton Foundation, I mean in the
• 9:37
Speaker 1: Clinton staff. I don't remember. Question who would that be? Answer?
• 9:40
Speaker 1: It would be a lot of people. Again, people have
• 9:42
Speaker 1: their own independent relationships. Mister Shapiro, who handled the travel
• 9:47
Speaker 1: and yeah, people who handled travel, people in the foundation,
• 9:50
Speaker 1: people that were trying to become friends with them to
• 9:52

• 9:55
  Speaker 1: I can, I'm sorry. The Tony Blair one. I don't
• 9:58
Speaker 1: remember having any specific conversation with Prime Minister Blair, but
• 10:01
  Speaker 1: it's possible. I don't think I did, but I just
• 10:04
Speaker 1: want to be super clear. Mister Harnice, you stated yes
• 10:10
Speaker 1: to the original question saying have you ever communicated with
• 10:13
Speaker 1: any of the following You said yes to President Clinton.
• 10:16
Speaker 1: Can you expand upon that communication with President Clinton band,
• 10:21
Speaker 1: I don't remember any specific conversation. I was just trying
• 10:23
Speaker 1: to be responsive. I mean, given they were traveling and stuff,
• 10:26
Speaker 1: and just giving him documents or telling them who's playing
• 10:30
Speaker 1: we were on, or telling them that he was doing.
• 10:32
Speaker 1: We certainly had communications about it, but I believe we did.
• 10:36
Speaker 1: I don't remember anything specific, Mister Emmer. During the previous hour,
• 10:40
Speaker 1: you mentioned having conversations with Cheryl Mills. Is that right answer? Yes? Question,
• 10:45
Speaker 1: and that was related to this committee's investigation? Is that correct? Answer? Again?
• 10:50
Speaker 1: Cheryl and I are all close friends. I talked to
• 10:52
Speaker 1: her regularly about a lot of things. After I was
• 10:55
Speaker 1: asked to come provide a voluntary interview, I spoke with
• 10:57
Speaker 1: her about that and about who do you us his counsel?
• 11:00
Speaker 1: That sort of thing. Question. But prior to the committee's letter,
• 11:04
Speaker 1: did you have any discussion with Cheryl Mills as it
• 11:06
Speaker 1: relates to Jeffrey Epstein and Glenn Maxwell? Answer? None that
• 11:09
Speaker 1: I recall. Question did you? And I believe you were
• 11:13
Speaker 1: asked this in a previous hour, But for the record,
• 11:15
Speaker 1: did you discuss this transcribed interview with anyone besides your counsel? Answer? Again,
• 11:21
Speaker 1: I'm just trying to be careful in answering that question.
• 11:23
Speaker 1: I talked to friends, some friends of mine who asked
• 11:26
Speaker 1: me questions about it. I tried not to talk about
• 11:29
Speaker 1: it or have any discussions, but for a few folks
• 11:31
Speaker 1: here and there, we were just talking about the appearance,
• 11:34
Speaker 1: but nothing substantive or anything like that. Question you answered,
• 11:38
Speaker 1: it's possible that you had a conversation with Lynn Forrester
• 11:41
Speaker 1: the Rothschild. Is that right? Answer? Well, I don't recall
• 11:44
Speaker 1: any or remember having any conversations with her, and I
• 11:48
Speaker 1: wasn't particularly close to her, but i'd just given her
• 11:51
Speaker 1: proximity to London and her friendship with them and the Clintons,
• 11:54
Speaker 1: it's possible. Question did you understand miss Rothschild to have
• 11:58
Speaker 1: a relationship with Epstein or Max? Well? Answer, I did
• 12:01
Speaker 1: not know whether she did or didn't. I just know
• 12:04
Speaker 1: she was friends with the President and Secretary Clinton. Question
• 12:08
Speaker 1: you also said that it was possible that you may
• 12:10
Speaker 1: have had a conversation with IRA magazine. Er do you
• 12:13
Speaker 1: understand him to have a relationship with Epstein or Maxwell?
• 12:16
Speaker 1: Answer again, it's just the same answer as Tasha. He worked,
• 12:20
Speaker 1: he ran several initiatives for a president. They were all friends.
• 12:24
Speaker 1: I don't know college, law school, and so I'm just
• 12:27
Speaker 1: making sure that I'm being responsive to the question and
• 12:29
Speaker 1: saying it's possible. I don't recall anything, but it's certainly possible.
• 12:33
Speaker 1: And also, and I'm sorry to interrupt, but in preparation
• 12:36
Speaker 1: for today and just seeing emails, I know there were
• 12:39
Speaker 1: things sent back and forth between him and them, so
• 12:41
Speaker 1: it's certainly possible. Finally, same question as it relates to
• 12:45
Speaker 1: John Podesta. Did you have any understanding of him having
• 12:48
Speaker 1: a relationship with Epstein or Maxwell? Answer? No, I didn't. Again,
• 12:53
Speaker 1: John's a mentor and a longtime friend, former law school professor, boss, colleague,
• 12:58
Speaker 1: friend at my wedding, those kinds of things, and so
• 13:01
  Speaker 1: I just saying that it's possible. I don't recall anything.
• 13:05
Speaker 1: Question is it possible that he would have been he
• 13:08
Speaker 1: would have expressed concerns about the former president having any
• 13:11
Speaker 1: sort of relationship with Epstein and Maxwell? Answer? I don't
• 13:15
Speaker 1: recall him having any of those concerns or conversations at all.
• 13:19
Speaker 1: Question Grant, and one more you also said you couldn't recall,
• 13:22
Speaker 1: but it was possible to Casey Wasserman. Is it possible
• 13:26
Speaker 1: that mister Washerman had a connection or relationship to Epstein
• 13:29
Speaker 1: or Maxwell? Ban No, Again, I don't remember anything specific
• 13:33
Speaker 1: or recall conversations. You know, he traveled. I remember him
• 13:36
Speaker 1: traveling at some point again in preparation for today, sort
• 13:39
Speaker 1: of reviewing stuff and seeing that he was on one
• 13:42
Speaker 1: or two of the humanitarian trips. He was also a
• 13:45
Speaker 1: very significant supporter of President Clinton's work. So I was
• 13:48
Speaker 1: just saying that it's possible, mister Harness. Question, outside of
• 13:53
Speaker 1: the list of people that we've already named and asked,
• 13:56
Speaker 1: if you had any conversations or communications with about mister
• 13:59
Speaker 1: Epstein or miss Maxwell, is there anyone else that we
• 14:03
Speaker 1: did not list you had a conversation with about miss
• 14:05
Speaker 1: Epstein or miss Maxwell. Answer no, not that I recall.
• 14:09
Speaker 1: Question do you have any non disclosure agreements? Answer no.
• 14:13
Speaker 1: Question so you don't have any NDAs with any women?
• 14:16
Speaker 1: Answer no, sir, question do you have any men that
• 14:21
Speaker 1: have NDAs with women? Answer no, I don't have any
• 14:23
Speaker 1: firsthand knowledge or anything other than again reading about some
• 14:27
Speaker 1: of the stuff. Question, but you don't have any knowledge
• 14:30
Speaker 1: of any person having an NDA with a woman or
• 14:33
Speaker 1: young female that has a connection with mister Epstein or
• 14:36
Speaker 1: miss Maxwell. Answer no, Emmer, our questioning is coming to
• 14:40
Speaker 1: an end. As a general question, is there anything that
• 14:43
Speaker 1: we have not asked you that you believe is relevant
• 14:45
Speaker 1: to this committee's investigation? Answer no, nothing that I can
• 14:49
Speaker 1: think of, mister Harneice, we'll go off the record, all right.
• 14:53
Speaker 1: So that is the Doug Band testimony of the transcripts
• 14:56
Speaker 1: in their entirety. And as we're waiting for the Catherine
• 14:59
Speaker 1: Realm transcripts to hit, we're going to be diving into
• 15:02
Speaker 1: a deposition that Jeffrey Epstein gave to the SEC when
• 15:06
Speaker 1: he was under investigation for his bullshit. But until then,
• 15:10
Speaker 1: that's going to do it for this one. All the
• 15:12
Speaker 1: information that goes with this episode can be found in
• 15:15
  Speaker 1: the description box.
