- 2:10Speaker 3: go to go Tommy's dot com. Still, I haven't heard
- 2:18Speaker 3: the Marler version of that. I just heard yaws.
- 2:23Speaker 4: Yeah, that was.
- 2:24Speaker 5: Pretty much it.
- 2:24Speaker 6: Yeah, well, I like to test the people on the YO.
- 2:30Speaker 7: I'm not good at the YO, Tommy, but I love
- 2:32Speaker 7: when Matt's like, you have to do it, like when
- 2:34Speaker 7: Rivers said it was the funniest thing ever.
- 2:36Speaker 4: I don't know which is very committed to the bit.
- 2:39Speaker 5: Yeah he made he made Cassie do it. Apparently really
- 2:43Speaker 5: she was feeling them for me, so I didn't hear it.
- 2:45Speaker 7: I think it was I don't remember it, but it
- 2:47Speaker 7: was probably something like YO tell me.
- 2:49Speaker 5: I even put it in the YouTube polls like who
- 2:51Speaker 5: did the worst show? Tommy, Marlar, Rivers or Cassie Marlar.
- 2:56Speaker 6: I think they did.
- 2:57Speaker 7: But Marler, yeah, it's no shock Marlar trying to get
- 3:00Speaker 7: the whole Miss LSU game canceled.
- 3:04Speaker 4: But that headline there graphic.
- 3:10Speaker 7: Why do they think that he's trying to cancel the game?
- 3:13Speaker 7: Probably because the graphic says canceled the game.
- 3:16Speaker 5: But guys like you take everything to literal, like you
- 3:18Speaker 5: gotta you gotta read in between clearly not what he meant.
- 3:21Speaker 4: He didn't mean it. That's what the graphic didn't mean it.
- 3:25Speaker 6: That question Mark was doing.
- 3:27Speaker 5: A lot of lot. He wants you to think critically,
- 3:30Speaker 5: and we're just not the.
- 3:32Speaker 6: Old Marlern industry.
- 3:36Speaker 5: He might actually be.
- 3:40Speaker 7: That's one of the funniest comments I've seen, that one
- 3:42Speaker 7: in the one saying that he looks like a Russian
- 3:44Speaker 7: doll that fits inside a T Bob m.
- 3:47Speaker 4: Is he.
- 3:54Speaker 7: Looks like that is when he was feeling I don't
- 3:57Speaker 7: think hear when he was feeling.
- 3:58Speaker 5: With Yeah, that was my first day back.
- 4:01Speaker 7: Oh yeah, so it was when he was at the
- 4:03Speaker 7: paradegrounds with Matt and they said that he looks like
- 4:05Speaker 7: T Bob's Russian do all, the one that fits inside him.
- 4:08Speaker 4: Oh my gosh.
- 4:09Speaker 6: And I told him he was like, at least I'm
- 4:11Speaker 6: the smaller one.
- 4:13Speaker 5: Oh mind, sure take the victory.
- 4:17Speaker 4: Nope, I missed that one.
- 4:19Speaker 6: Hilarious killed me.
- 4:22Speaker 4: Marlar Monday's Marlar mondays, that is the thing.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Apparently it is like that that you know that did
- 4:31Speaker 3: calls the stir the graphic about the game.
- 4:34Speaker 6: Do y'all think we should cancel the game?
- 4:36Speaker 4: Yeah? Probably not.
- 4:37Speaker 3: It y'all, it's what is it May the thirteen, and
- 4:43Speaker 3: it's not even the first game of the year. It's
- 4:45Speaker 3: a third game of the year. Can y'all imagine? It
- 4:47Speaker 3: feels like November like it used to be, And it's
- 4:51Speaker 3: all anybody's talking about. Look, I mean, and Lane Given
- 4:54Speaker 3: had his Vanity Fair article which we talked about. Steve
- 4:57Speaker 3: Sarkisian had his USA Today article which he took a
- 5:00Speaker 3: a jab at basket weaving. Their athletic director, Keith Carter,
- 5:04Speaker 3: he's all missed through and through, I mean, he played basketball.
- 5:07Speaker 3: They're like he's going to defend them with everything he's got.
- 5:10Speaker 3: But he tweeted yesterday kind of amazing how uncomfortable our
- 5:15Speaker 3: success is making some people hashtag rebel nation.
- 5:19Speaker 6: I'm confused about that me too, Like I'm not even
- 5:23Speaker 6: trying to be funny.
- 5:24Speaker 4: Neither last year, yeah either what success me?
- 5:28Speaker 3: Neither like you within Yeah, and you've never look you like,
- 5:33Speaker 3: you've never been.
- 5:33Speaker 4: To Atlanta for the SEC championship game, So.
- 5:37Speaker 3: Like relative, I guess for you, like that was a
- 5:41Speaker 3: successful season. But I'm just not going to say, like,
- 5:45Speaker 3: oh man, yeah, like they're coming like they they're getting
- 5:48Speaker 3: better for sure, But like you didn't do anything in basketball.
- 5:52Speaker 3: Your baseball team's okay, softball team's okay. Like what is
- 5:56Speaker 3: he talking about? Yeah, like your women's basketball team.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Coacho. I actually really like Coacho a lot, but it's
- 6:02Speaker 4: like they're okay.
- 6:04Speaker 3: It's like, what success are you having as making people
- 6:07Speaker 3: uncomfortable when you.
- 6:08Speaker 5: Have a banner in your stadium that says SEC West
- 6:13Speaker 5: co champs coach, You've never won a damn thing in
- 6:16Speaker 5: your program's history. That's the thing you think LSU. I'm
- 6:19Speaker 5: not saying LSU's the most story football program in the country.
- 6:21Speaker 5: You think LSU is going to put up there. We
- 6:23Speaker 5: played in the twenty eleven national Championship. We didn't win it,
- 6:26Speaker 5: we played in it. They didn't even play in the
- 6:28Speaker 5: SEC Championship that year. There was a banner bethy'll hang
- 6:31Speaker 5: a playoff banner. Two, we don't have playoff banners being
- 6:34Speaker 5: championship banners here.
- 6:35Speaker 7: Yes, that just I'm just like, I'm again not trying
- 6:39Speaker 7: to be funny. I'm genuinely genuinely confused what Keith Carter
- 6:43Speaker 7: is talking about. Like, you made it to the playoffs
- 6:45Speaker 7: last season, but you had Lane Kiffen as your coach.
- 6:49Speaker 7: You have Trendidad Shambless. We'll see what happens with that
- 6:52Speaker 7: this season. Like we'll see if Pete Golding, can you know,
- 6:56Speaker 7: like come.
- 6:58Speaker 6: Up to the task or whatever.
- 7:03Speaker 5: For him in America.
- 7:04Speaker 7: Yeah, Like it's not about Pete. It's just like you
- 7:07Speaker 7: hired from within. You didn't go get it and maybe
- 7:09Speaker 7: you think Pete's the guy. Okay, that's great, good for you,
- 7:12Speaker 7: but you lost the guy that got you to the playoffs. Yes,
- 7:15Speaker 7: Pete coached in it, but like you lost him. Charlie
- 7:19Speaker 7: Weiss was still there whenever you were in the playoffs.
- 7:21Speaker 7: You lost him too. You lost most of your staff. Yes,
- 7:25Speaker 7: you're getting Trinidad back, Yeah, you're maybe Kowan Lacey's coming
- 7:28Speaker 7: back to you. You're like you you got some returners.
- 7:30Speaker 7: But also like I just I'm genuinely confused what you're
- 7:34Speaker 7: talking about.
- 7:35Speaker 6: What success?
- 7:36Speaker 5: Well to your point, like you have the entire offensive
- 7:40Speaker 5: staff a year ago back at LS. Sure you get
- 7:42Speaker 5: Trinidad Shamblas back. I like Trindadad Chambas, he lost Lane
- 7:45Speaker 5: Kiffin and Charlie Wise Junior. I still think there's a
- 7:48Speaker 5: big question mark there. What the hell is that gonna look?
- 7:50Speaker 4: Like?
- 7:50Speaker 5: You lost basically, all your pass catchers like Shamblas and
- 7:53Speaker 5: Lacy are good. They gonna play two to one eleven.
- 7:56Speaker 5: Because that's kind of what it looks like right now,
- 7:58Speaker 5: is from the outside looking in. There was a a
- 8:00Speaker 5: comment on like a verified ole mispage yesterday. I don't
- 8:03Speaker 5: remember what the page was. It was like ol Shoe
- 8:06Speaker 5: fans are scared because ole Miss has had more success
- 8:09Speaker 5: over the last ten years. Buddy ls Hu's won seven
- 8:11Speaker 5: of the last ten times they've played. Like what are
- 8:14Speaker 5: you looking at?
- 8:15Speaker 4: Like, I get and won a national championship in that.
- 8:18Speaker 5: Rule, right, I get having pride in your university, but
- 8:21Speaker 5: please understand and know your place in the world of
- 8:24Speaker 5: college football and you're an SEC bottom feeder.
- 8:30Speaker 3: It's it's the thing that's most surprising I think in
- 8:33Speaker 3: this whole situation is just, uh, you know, the prancing
- 8:37Speaker 3: around like they've done something right and again, like you're
- 8:40Speaker 3: you've gotten better, Like you did something that you haven't
- 8:43Speaker 3: done by making the playoff, but you still didn't even
- 8:45Speaker 3: make it to Atlanta for the SEC championship game, so
- 8:48Speaker 3: you still have work to do. I hope you're not
- 8:50Speaker 3: celebrating what you've done, because that's not the ultimate goal,
- 8:54Speaker 3: the ultimate goals to like lift a trophy, some kind
- 8:57Speaker 3: of trophy.
- 8:58Speaker 5: Yeah, and the staff is here now. The guy who
- 9:01Speaker 5: brought you the best, the most success you've had in
- 9:03Speaker 5: the last twenty five years is now at one of
- 9:05Speaker 5: your rival programs and you're still victory lopping.
- 9:10Speaker 7: I'm trying to find the tweet because I'm trying. I
- 9:12Speaker 7: want to get your thoughts on this from our our
- 9:16Speaker 7: favorite Mincy. Oh man, I can't find it.
- 9:21Speaker 6: Basically, he was.
- 9:22Speaker 4: Saying he was he was going hard in the pain.
- 9:24Speaker 7: He was saying, how LSU is like prime to lose
- 9:27Speaker 7: versus Ole, Miss and Texas A and M. Yeah, it
- 9:31Speaker 7: is didn't a reason why ls u's Oh wait, Taylor,
- 9:34Speaker 7: your commented on this.
- 9:38Speaker 5: Last night.
- 9:39Speaker 3: She was going to be good by It's supposed to
- 9:40Speaker 3: be putting your crib together, right.
- 9:42Speaker 7: He's out here, are you a minci? So Mincy says
- 9:48Speaker 7: LSU is going to be good by end of year. Also,
- 9:50Speaker 7: let's get listener thoughts on this textar text line two
- 9:53Speaker 7: two five four nine nine one o four five. I
- 9:54Speaker 7: would love to know what you think about this whole
- 9:56Speaker 7: ole Miss LSU thing. Ls She's gonna be good by
- 9:59Speaker 7: end of year, but entire new roster and staff leaves
- 10:02Speaker 7: them extremely vulnerable at ole Miss and versus A and
- 10:06Speaker 7: M in September. The fan reactions to two losses before
- 10:09Speaker 7: October after spending over one hundred million dollars s death
- 10:12Speaker 7: won't be boring, Tata said, I just I'm reading this
- 10:16Speaker 7: for the first time. Every team has questions. For example,
- 10:19Speaker 7: what will trendidat Shamblis look like without Lank Kiffrin Charlie
- 10:21Speaker 7: Weis junior? No, for sure, Like because ole Miss also
- 10:23Speaker 7: has a new staff. Yeah, I mean some people were
- 10:26Speaker 7: there before, but some yeah, but.
- 10:28Speaker 4: I mean you your head coach was there.
- 10:30Speaker 3: But you're gonna have a completely new offensive staff. And
- 10:34Speaker 3: I don't care that you know this guy used to
- 10:36Speaker 3: be here before, he wasn't there with this team with
- 10:38Speaker 3: these players. So he might know how to get to
- 10:40Speaker 3: the local establishments there in Oxford, but like he's not
- 10:44Speaker 3: gonna know the team and look for for ole Miss,
- 10:47Speaker 3: like to say that it's a brand new team. They're
- 10:50Speaker 3: expecting we'll see one, two, three, four, five, six, seven,
- 10:54Speaker 3: eight new starters on defense through the transfer portal. Old
- 10:57Speaker 3: Miss is offensively pro at least three new starters on
- 11:02Speaker 3: offense through the transfer portal. So look, yeah, and all
- 11:05Speaker 3: the backups are going to be through the portal, like
- 11:07Speaker 3: including your backup running back, quarterback, tight end, a lot
- 11:10Speaker 3: of your offensive line. So like that's where we are
- 11:13Speaker 3: in college football. The new isn't an excuse anymore. You
- 11:16Speaker 3: don't get to use the new as an excuse. That's
- 11:19Speaker 3: just that's not how it works anymore. So Ole Miss
- 11:22Speaker 3: is gonna have a lot of new, just like LSU's
- 11:24Speaker 3: gonna have a lot of new, and both teams and
- 11:26Speaker 3: both programs are going to be expected to do a
- 11:29Speaker 3: B and C. So stop eye hustling somebody else's team
- 11:33Speaker 3: and worry about what's going on with your team, Yeah,
- 11:36Speaker 3: because there's not going to be room for error in
- 11:39Speaker 3: either one of these places. So if you want to,
- 11:42Speaker 3: if you want to talk about everybody's getting nervous with
- 11:44Speaker 3: our success, well guess what that comes with expectations as
- 11:48Speaker 3: well that you've never had before in your program history.
- 11:51Speaker 3: So you're about to learn a new style of pressure
- 11:54Speaker 3: in Oxford that you've never had before too, and that's
- 11:56Speaker 3: going to be new for you.
- 11:57Speaker 7: Yeah, everybody wants to talk about all the pressure that
- 12:00Speaker 7: Lane Kiffin has on him this season, and he does.
- 12:03Speaker 7: But the Old Miss fan base also has a lot
- 12:06Speaker 7: of expectations for Pete Golden heading into They're already crowning
- 12:09Speaker 7: him like king of everything. So Pete Golding, you got
- 12:12Speaker 7: pressure on you this season too. Don't let LSU go
- 12:16Speaker 7: into Oxford and win that game.
- 12:18Speaker 6: Don't let it happen.
- 12:20Speaker 5: If Pete Golding quote unquote underachieves, which I firmly believe
- 12:25Speaker 5: that he will at Old Miss, and you know, four
- 12:29Speaker 5: years from now, you're back where you started. What's your
- 12:32Speaker 5: next talking point? Because at the beginning of the season,
- 12:36Speaker 5: halfway through the year, the Old Miss fans loved the
- 12:38Speaker 5: Lane Kiffen. And you can get mad that he left,
- 12:41Speaker 5: but all the Old Miss fans are like, good luck
- 12:43Speaker 5: to you. His tenure at LSU is going to be
- 12:45Speaker 5: short lived. Why you loved him a couple of months
- 12:48Speaker 5: ago when he was winning football games for you, those
- 12:50Speaker 5: playoff wins you put Pete Golden didn't put the game
- 12:52Speaker 5: together like look, I thought he did a great job.
- 12:54Speaker 5: They went further in the playoffs. Ice was there then,
- 12:57Speaker 5: I thought they would. But Pete Golding didn't put that
- 12:59Speaker 5: team together. Lane Kiffin put that team together, like stop.
- 13:04Speaker 4: In is now here? Yeah, who is.
- 13:10Speaker 6: Here? I got one tech, I got a teg.
- 13:14Speaker 7: Mincy clearly still drinking too much, that's all it says.
- 13:22Speaker 5: I just people forget what Lane Kiffin did for that program. Look, okay,
- 13:30Speaker 5: if we want to pile on, let's go ahead. I
- 13:32Speaker 5: went and looked at this last night. I cameme prepared.
- 13:35Speaker 5: I like to do my homework when Lane Kiffin. This
- 13:37Speaker 5: was after he took the job. Ben Metz had a
- 13:39Speaker 5: phone call conversation whether they to post it on Twitter,
- 13:42Speaker 5: and he said, laying at your first sec win is
- 13:45Speaker 5: how I got the job at barstool, and he've done
- 13:47Speaker 5: so much for my career. Those are not my words,
- 13:49Speaker 5: those are his words. And and now all of a sudden,
- 13:53Speaker 5: now all of a sudden, like you hate people like
- 13:56Speaker 5: you hate these guys like these are in like pendes
- 13:59Speaker 5: a a job. But it's like you like this guy
- 14:02Speaker 5: and then he leaves and you you got nothing for Yah,
- 14:06Speaker 5: that's just I don't I don't like what stuff like
- 14:07Speaker 5: that appens.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Okay, lay off my boy Pete lo o l it's
- 14:13Speaker 3: a fan base and their media we're at uh No.
- 14:17Speaker 3: I do actually like I do like Pete a lot
- 14:19Speaker 3: I've known it for I've known it for a long time.
- 14:22Speaker 4: You know, there's a lot of ball, but this is
- 14:23Speaker 4: his first Hey, coaching.
- 14:25Speaker 6: Is anything that I said wrong? Does he?
- 14:27Speaker 1: Does?
- 14:27Speaker 6: He not have a bunch of pressure on does?
- 14:30Speaker 3: Like Jack, he's got maybe more pressure than any old
- 14:33Speaker 3: Miss coaches.
- 14:33Speaker 7: Yeah, and objectively, Charlie Weiss was still there when they
- 14:37Speaker 7: were playing in the playoffs. Like, I don't have an
- 14:39Speaker 7: issue with Pete. I like Pete Golding, but that's just true.
- 14:43Speaker 3: Yeah, but he's that first game against Louisville. They're going
- 14:47Speaker 3: to expect a lot that game in Nashville, know what
- 14:49Speaker 3: we said yet?
- 14:50Speaker 5: Yeah, and like that's a scrappy Louisville team.
- 14:53Speaker 3: That's well, Louisville is coached by Jeff Brown, who I've
- 14:56Speaker 3: got a lot of respect. Yeah, just like look, just
- 14:59Speaker 3: like Schewe and Clemson, you don't throw the helmet out
- 15:02Speaker 3: there and win that game. They can't throw their helmet
- 15:04Speaker 3: out there and win that game. So it's still like,
- 15:06Speaker 3: whatever the record is, that game in Oxford's going to
- 15:09Speaker 3: be nuts. But I'm just saying, like, you've got to
- 15:12Speaker 3: focus on what's before that or you'll get got all Right,
- 15:16Speaker 3: we gotta take a break. We do have our guy
- 15:17Speaker 3: Chris Blair, the voice of the LSU Tigers, joining us
- 15:20Speaker 3: when we come back here.

- 16:19Speaker 3: So if you're ready to transform your backyard. Give them
- 16:22Speaker 3: a call at two two five nine four, five to.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Seven from the locker room to the airwaves. Gets off
- 16:33Speaker 1: the bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn.
- 16:45Speaker 8: Sama, ANSI I've had to win. I've been so busy,
- 16:57Speaker 8: but I've been thanking. Do I know the money they've
- 17:05Speaker 8: been chuckingbot the.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Way I do it?
- 17:09Speaker 8: Do they heard I was good? They want to see
- 17:13Speaker 8: if it's they know you one?
- 17:17Speaker 3: All right, Welcome back in OTV here live from the

- 17:26Speaker 3: Chris Blair c be Always a pleasure, sir.
- 17:28Speaker 4: Hope you're doing well.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Yeah man, A happy belady birthday again? Thank you doing good?
- 17:33Speaker 4: Uh yeah, forty one it's a little different.
- 17:35Speaker 2: You know.
- 17:35Speaker 4: It's like, you know, you you get forty and you're
- 17:38Speaker 4: like okay, like that happened.
- 17:40Speaker 3: But then it's like once you're forty one, as Flint
- 17:41Speaker 3: told me yesterday, like you're in your forties.
- 17:45Speaker 2: We check in with me in ten years now. We
- 17:48Speaker 2: know how you do it?
- 17:52Speaker 3: All right, Chris Man, I want to go across the
- 17:54Speaker 3: game and here obviously you know, all the sports that
- 17:57Speaker 3: you do have got a lot of things going on
- 18:00Speaker 3: with them, but we'll start with the current sport baseball.
- 18:03Speaker 3: You know, the first game there in Athens, it felt like, okay,
- 18:07Speaker 3: here we go. You got a little opportunity, and then
- 18:09Speaker 3: it felt like more of the same the old miss series,
- 18:11Speaker 3: the Mississippi State Series, where you have these leads, you
- 18:14Speaker 3: have the momentum, but you just can't hold onto it.
- 18:17Speaker 3: And you know this covering is you know, as me
- 18:20Speaker 3: baseball games, as you have like you have that momentum,
- 18:23Speaker 3: you win that game, who knows what happens the rest
- 18:26Speaker 3: of the weekend. But unfortunately for LSU and it's baseball team,
- 18:30Speaker 3: the story of that first game of the Georgia Series
- 18:32Speaker 3: has kind of been how it's played out over the
- 18:34Speaker 3: last month or so.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean again, you know, it's one of those deals.
- 18:38Speaker 2: I think coach Johnson pointed it out. You know, it's
- 18:42Speaker 2: it's they had five straight road games where you know,
- 18:45Speaker 2: they had a lead and had scored eight runs and
- 18:47Speaker 2: then you know, he really feels like that should be
- 18:50Speaker 2: enough to win. Uh. You know, obviously I joke with
- 18:53Speaker 2: him a lot about you know, after his first year,
- 18:56Speaker 2: saying there's never enough runs, like until they tell you
- 18:58Speaker 2: a run rule and you got to stop, like you
- 19:00Speaker 2: keep trying to score. But you know, I think realistically
- 19:03Speaker 2: he felt like with the way they played in Game one,
- 19:07Speaker 2: in those five road games, that they had a chance
- 19:09Speaker 2: to win. I mean, obviously the bullpen couldn't hold the lead.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Now I'll say this for Georgia. You know, the West
- 19:16Speaker 2: Jordan has assemboled won a heck of an offensive team.
- 19:19Speaker 2: I mean it is I kind of said that against
- 19:22Speaker 2: A and M. I thought A and M at that
- 19:23Speaker 2: point when we played them was the best offensive team.
- 19:27Speaker 2: I thought Mississippi State was similar from an offensive standpoint,
- 19:30Speaker 2: But I don't think either one of them is in
- 19:32Speaker 2: the same zip code as Georgia. And that's no disrespect.
- 19:35Speaker 2: It's just that that team absolutely forced LSU to pitch
- 19:39Speaker 2: them their pitch and when they did, they did not miss.
- 19:44Speaker 2: And you know, it was a ton of extra base hits, obviously,
- 19:47Speaker 2: a ton of home runs in a hitter friendly ballpark
- 19:50Speaker 2: where there really wasn't any win to speak of. But
- 19:52Speaker 2: that being said, it was just it was a tough weekend.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Man that that's a talented team. We'll see how it
- 19:59Speaker 2: translates you know, in the long haul. I you know,
- 20:02Speaker 2: I think their pitching was okay for Georgia. In fact,
- 20:06Speaker 2: I was asking Bill Frank as I said, you know,
- 20:07Speaker 2: looking back on it now, we've seen some of these
- 20:09Speaker 2: great offenses that just bash their way to victory against LSU.
- 20:14Speaker 2: But which team do you feel like has the best
- 20:16Speaker 2: pitching staff we faced? And you know, Bill's you know,
- 20:19Speaker 2: a lot more SEC baseball than I have, and he
- 20:22Speaker 2: and I both felt like, you know, from a from
- 20:24Speaker 2: a total pitching staff, probably the other teams we played,
- 20:29Speaker 2: probably Old Miss. But we'll see what Georgia can do.
- 20:31Speaker 2: I mean, if you can put up you know, nine
- 20:33Speaker 2: and a half runs per game and SEC play, I
- 20:36Speaker 2: think that plays pretty well against anybody you play in
- 20:38Speaker 2: the postseason.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Yeah, they're gonna be an interesting team to see, you know,
- 20:41Speaker 3: because where there pitching is that it's good. It's not
- 20:44Speaker 3: the best by any means, like I said, and if
- 20:46Speaker 3: they play in a different ballpark, but they certainly their
- 20:48Speaker 3: lineup is one of the best ones that you will
- 20:51Speaker 3: see in college baseball. And to kind of get back
- 20:54Speaker 3: to LSU, as you know, we've all kind of noticed
- 20:56Speaker 3: and you've noted multiple times on the broadcast. They're playing,
- 20:59Speaker 3: they're playing the freshmen. They're letting the freshmen go through
- 21:02Speaker 3: some lumps a little bit. They're letting them, you know,
- 21:05Speaker 3: obviously succeed as well. And look, that's not something we've
- 21:09Speaker 3: seen because you know, Jay Johnson, he's won two national championships,
- 21:12Speaker 3: and you know, obviously, you know, they get through regionals
- 21:15Speaker 3: in the other seasons, and so they hadn't really had
- 21:17Speaker 3: this opportunity. But it has been nice to see the
- 21:20Speaker 3: young players given the opportunity to go out there. The
- 21:24Speaker 3: moment hasn't been too big for them yet, and they've
- 21:26Speaker 3: actually been some of your better players over the last couple.
- 21:29Speaker 2: Of weeks, no no question about it. I mean, and
- 21:32Speaker 2: you know, with Bill on the air this weekend, and
- 21:35Speaker 2: I know it doesn't make Tiger fans feel any better,
- 21:37Speaker 2: and it certainly doesn't make us feel any better, and
- 21:39Speaker 2: I know it doesn't make the team feel any better.
- 21:42Speaker 2: But having made that switch to go with those guys
- 21:47Speaker 2: who again are here at LSU because they're super talented,
- 21:50Speaker 2: it's not as if, okay, let's drop back to the freshman.
- 21:52Speaker 2: I mean, you're missing experience, but now you're kind of
- 21:55Speaker 2: beyond that. I mean, when you look at Mason Ron,
- 21:57Speaker 2: I don't consider him a true freshman anymore, in the
- 22:00Speaker 2: same way I didn't consider Curryel and Mileam and Hiln
- 22:03Speaker 2: Cruz for that matter, And I think you can put
- 22:06Speaker 2: obviously Omar Cerna in the same position. I mean, those
- 22:09Speaker 2: guys have been pretty much everyday players. But you know
- 22:12Speaker 2: the experience of William Patrick's getting and the growth we've
- 22:15Speaker 2: seen of Jack Rutgerd at second based defensively and and
- 22:19Speaker 2: and coming up with some key hits as well, along
- 22:22Speaker 2: with some of the freshman pitchers that that we know
- 22:24Speaker 2: are here because of their talent. I mean, look out.
- 22:28Speaker 2: You know, I don't know what the future holds over
- 22:29Speaker 2: the next week two weeks, but you know, if if
- 22:33Speaker 2: Jay Johnson is is solely focused on recruiting and transfer
- 22:39Speaker 2: portal while everybody else is playing postseason baseball, you know,
- 22:45Speaker 2: Jay's the type of guy that that that doesn't go
- 22:47Speaker 2: on a revenge to her, but LSU will and that'll
- 22:53Speaker 2: be something to look at. And again, I know that
- 22:54Speaker 2: doesn't make people feel good right now, and it doesn't
- 22:57Speaker 2: you know, answer what happened in twenty twenty six, But
- 23:01Speaker 2: I just I've spent too much time around the coach
- 23:05Speaker 2: to know that, you know, as well as good as
- 23:08Speaker 2: the job as he does, even when he is going,
- 23:10Speaker 2: you know, into late June playing for national championships. I mean,
- 23:14Speaker 2: he's not but one focus look out.
- 23:19Speaker 3: Oh you're right about that, And I actually am looking
- 23:21Speaker 3: very much forward to this offseason and how everything kind
- 23:24Speaker 3: of changes for Jay Johnson and some of the comments
- 23:26Speaker 3: that he's made, Like you and I both know him
- 23:28Speaker 3: well enough to know that he means every word of
- 23:31Speaker 3: those comments. Chris something else that You've seen a ton
- 23:34Speaker 3: of his first pitches and I'm going to be doing
- 23:37Speaker 3: it on Friday at the box. So do you have
- 23:41Speaker 3: any advice for me not to not only look I
- 23:44Speaker 3: mean if I throw a bad pitch that falls on
- 23:46Speaker 3: you too.
- 23:47Speaker 4: I mean we're partners in the fall. Your name might
- 23:49Speaker 4: be brought up when they're throwing slander my way.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Well, you know, I'm a big Howard Stern fan. And
- 23:55Speaker 2: one of the worst first pitches ever was Gary Delivaate
- 23:58Speaker 2: the met game. I mean, you can go look it
- 24:00Speaker 2: up and it's horrendous. You've got to do better than that.
- 24:03Speaker 2: I mean you and you can't hit you know bystanders,
- 24:06Speaker 2: I mean you know what what.
- 24:07Speaker 4: If I throw it into the Florida dugout.
- 24:09Speaker 3: We've talked about that, a little pick moved a third
- 24:11Speaker 3: and just quickly into Florida dugout.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Yeah, you can tell everybody the runner was taken off
- 24:16Speaker 2: and you were just holding him to the bag. No, No,
- 24:20Speaker 2: I'm sure you'll do fine. The only advice I'd give
- 24:22Speaker 2: you is is just don't try to ament. I mean literally,
- 24:24Speaker 2: so if you're practicing, I obviously you're practicing. You've been
- 24:27Speaker 2: practicing prepared.
- 24:28Speaker 3: You know, I've been working with you know, with our
- 24:30Speaker 3: nine you team that I helped coach. I've been you know,
- 24:33Speaker 3: yesterday at practice. You know, I told the catcher hate
- 24:35Speaker 3: it down for a little bit, let me let me
- 24:37Speaker 3: throw something to you real, no doubt.
- 24:39Speaker 2: I have no doubt that you'll be in the vicinity
- 24:41Speaker 2: of the third around home plate.
- 24:42Speaker 4: All right, all right, that's you know, that's okay ish
- 24:48Speaker 4: if that happens.
- 24:49Speaker 3: Ringing endorsement there from our guy Chris player uh cebe
- 24:53Speaker 3: as I said, obviously, by the way, you know, you're
- 24:56Speaker 3: about to actually get to rest your voice for a
- 24:58Speaker 3: little bit after doing football, basketball in baseball. But we've
- 25:01Speaker 3: been talking a lot about the fall, and we've been
- 25:04Speaker 3: talking about obviously, like you know, the Clemson game and
- 25:07Speaker 3: game day all that's great and once it comes like
- 25:09Speaker 3: that should be the sole focus. But you know, with
- 25:11Speaker 3: the old Miss Lsu stuff, I'm sitting here and I'm
- 25:14Speaker 3: thinking everybody's talking about what that game is going to
- 25:16Speaker 3: be and the scenes that it's going to be, and
- 25:18Speaker 3: you know, just the craziness that is one of the
- 25:21Speaker 3: places where you and I we got to kind of
- 25:23Speaker 3: walk through the people to get to that press elevator.
- 25:26Speaker 3: That that's gonna be an interesting walk for for you
- 25:29Speaker 3: and I. I'm gonna need you to keep me, you know,
- 25:31Speaker 3: focused on getting to the elevator and not maybe you know,
- 25:35Speaker 3: wander around the stadium.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Too much, but me be in charge of you. I'm
- 25:39Speaker 2: gonna be walking behind you, like hiding behind you.
- 25:42Speaker 3: Well that's what I'm saying, Like if you know, cause
- 25:44Speaker 3: I I I you know, if somebody chirps, I tend
- 25:46Speaker 3: to answer a chirt. So I need you to keep
- 25:48Speaker 3: me like solely focused on getting to the elevator. Me,
- 25:50Speaker 3: you and Todd are gonna be working walking together to
- 25:53Speaker 3: the elevator.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Yeah, it's it's it's something man. I mean you know,
- 25:56Speaker 2: I was thinking this morning, you know, getting ready to
- 25:59Speaker 2: go on the air, I was thinking, you know what
- 26:01Speaker 2: talking season this year? It started obviously, I think every
- 26:04Speaker 2: year talking season starts a little earlier, but my goodness, uh,
- 26:08Speaker 2: this year leading up to uh the season, uh, you
- 26:12Speaker 2: know which is again you know, it's great news yesterday
- 26:15Speaker 2: that LSU is going to be the you know, a
- 26:17Speaker 2: clear focus on LSU and Baton Rouge in Louisiana, and
- 26:22Speaker 2: with with the game day and obviously the ABC prime
- 26:25Speaker 2: time of LSU and and and Clemson. And I look
- 26:28Speaker 2: at that game. I mean as obvious everybody else does.
- 26:31Speaker 2: It's so important because you know, you got Lane Kiffin
- 26:34Speaker 2: and all that has happened, and the biggest story I think,
- 26:37Speaker 2: uh in college football wasn't I think actually LSU eclipsed Indiana.
- 26:42Speaker 2: I mean, there's more people talking about LSU and the
- 26:44Speaker 2: off season than I haven't heard anything about the Hoosiers.
- 26:48Speaker 2: And then you've got Clemson with with that Bosweeney that
- 26:51Speaker 2: you know last year it was kind of like, okay,
- 26:53Speaker 2: is he going to be able to survive in this
- 26:55Speaker 2: new climate of transfer, portal and and and all of that,
- 26:59Speaker 2: which he's kind of push back. And then you know,
- 27:03Speaker 2: Brian Kelly coming in. How is LSU's gonna do? Is
- 27:05Speaker 2: this the year? I think the focus and the anticipation
- 27:11Speaker 2: and the eyeballs that were looking at last year's opening game,
- 27:13Speaker 2: I mean it's going to be. I mean just absolutely
- 27:18Speaker 2: off the charts for this game. And it's an important game,
- 27:22Speaker 2: you know. I don't think for for coach Kiffing and
- 27:24Speaker 2: LSU it's the b O indo. I think there might
- 27:26Speaker 2: be a little more pressure on Tabo Sweeney, you know,
- 27:29Speaker 2: from a standpoint of of you know, his content contingency
- 27:33Speaker 2: back and Clemson. But yeah, it's the schedule. I mean,
- 27:39Speaker 2: Clemson at home to open the season, and then you
- 27:41Speaker 2: gotta go to Oxford and then you gotta go don't
- 27:44Speaker 2: forget you gotta go to Knoxville. It's it's gonna be
- 27:47Speaker 2: one heck of a ride. But I will say this,
- 27:50Speaker 2: I enjoyed going to spring football. I enjoyed watching how
- 27:54Speaker 2: they do their work. And I'm sure as a guy
- 27:56Speaker 2: who's been through those in the NFL mini camps and
- 28:00Speaker 2: you probably have a perspective on it that I don't have.
- 28:02Speaker 2: But I was just impressed at the lack of wasted moments.
- 28:07Speaker 2: I mean, that every blade of grass, if everything that
- 28:11Speaker 2: can be used over the practice facility when I was
- 28:14Speaker 2: there was being utilized. It wasn't as if you know, again,
- 28:17Speaker 2: they would have sessions where they would do eleven on eleven,
- 28:20Speaker 2: but when that wasn't going on, man, they were using
- 28:23Speaker 2: every inch of the practice facility and it was it
- 28:25Speaker 2: was moving very smoothly, very on time, very lively. I
- 28:31Speaker 2: was impressed with the way these guys prepare their football team.
- 28:34Speaker 2: So I know there's all kinds of stuff that gets
- 28:35Speaker 2: way more attention, but I like the stuff that's being done,
- 28:39Speaker 2: that's the actual extras and o's, and that's why I'm
- 28:41Speaker 2: excited for the season.
- 28:44Speaker 3: You know. One of the things that was funny yesterday
- 28:46Speaker 3: and last one we're catching umber. They got Chris Blayer,
- 28:48Speaker 3: voice of the LS Tigers. Yesterday, Flynn was asking me,
- 28:51Speaker 3: He's like, you know, with the way football is now,
- 28:54Speaker 3: He's like, do you ever go like a couple of
- 28:56Speaker 3: plays where you don't even you know, maybe talk. I
- 28:59Speaker 3: was like, oh, man, for sure, because the way these
- 29:01Speaker 3: speeds are going with these offenses. And I was like,
- 29:03Speaker 3: and Chris, it's radio, it's not TV's like Chris has
- 29:05Speaker 3: got to set the scene. He's got to set the
- 29:06Speaker 3: play doubles and trips and whatever, the formation is whatever.
- 29:10Speaker 3: And I was sitting there thinking that was that's how
- 29:13Speaker 3: it was last year, Like I kind of felt bad, Like, man,
- 29:15Speaker 3: am I gonna leave Chris high and dry? Am I
- 29:18Speaker 3: just gonna be there for for support in this offense
- 29:22Speaker 3: is gonna be going uber fast.
- 29:25Speaker 2: It's gonna be fast. I'm just gonna do a much
- 29:27Speaker 2: better job and please everybody and shut up. I'm just
- 29:29Speaker 2: gonna talk a little bit less and uh but yeah,
- 29:32Speaker 2: I mean that's that's one of the things that that
- 29:34Speaker 2: will be a will be a change. I mean, it
- 29:36Speaker 2: was one of the things we had to prepare for
- 29:38Speaker 2: every time we played the lane kiffing team was you know,
- 29:41Speaker 2: he look, guys, there's gonna be minimal amounts for for
- 29:44Speaker 2: you know, just just you gotta be succinct. And that's
- 29:48Speaker 2: kind of and that's that's gonna be a challenge this
- 29:50Speaker 2: year just from a you know, behind the scenes, Look,
- 29:53Speaker 2: you gotta be you gotta be very judicious with the
- 29:56Speaker 2: words he's gonna use, and you gotta use them fast
- 29:58Speaker 2: because I expect this team to move very quick and
- 30:00Speaker 2: any indication of what I saw at spring that that
- 30:03Speaker 2: is definitely the case. But we'll find a way to
- 30:05Speaker 2: make it work.
- 30:06Speaker 4: Oh I look again, you should be doing the talking.
- 30:09Speaker 4: You're the best. We appreciate you.
- 30:11Speaker 3: I'm just sitting there and I look at one time
- 30:13Speaker 3: it's gonna patch you on the shoulder and tell you
- 30:15Speaker 3: how good you're doing, because I'm looking forward to this
- 30:17Speaker 3: offense going Nascar.
- 30:19Speaker 4: Speed and lining up getting the ball snap.
- 30:21Speaker 3: It's gonna be a lot of fun, look forward to
- 30:23Speaker 3: the fall, and we look forward to hearing you close
- 30:25Speaker 3: out baseball season.
- 30:26Speaker 4: CB. We appreciate your time, sir.
- 30:28Speaker 2: You got it man.
- 30:30Speaker 3: All right, Chris Blayer, the voice out of the LSU Tigers,
- 30:33Speaker 3: good enough to join us here on OTB.
- 30:36Speaker 4: Sometimes I feel bad.
- 30:37Speaker 3: I mean like it's like you're setting the scene again
- 30:40Speaker 3: and you're getting ready to snap the football, and that
- 30:44Speaker 3: was like in a very sort of no huddle offense.
- 30:48Speaker 3: It's about to be Nascar speed, which I'm looking forward
- 30:50Speaker 3: to seeing how it all plays out as well. All Right,
- 30:53Speaker 3: we will step away. We've got more OTB coming back
- 30:55Speaker 3: your way when we jump back here live from the.

- 33:54Speaker 4: It was it for you?
- 33:55Speaker 3: Did they crawl fish in the middle of the day?
- 33:57Speaker 3: They got it little bags bags of crawlfish with some potatoes,
- 34:02Speaker 3: some corn. Individual bags. They got sacks of crawlfish too.
- 34:08Speaker 3: If you're in a crawfish boil. So I don't know,
- 34:10Speaker 3: is that a thing in Louisiana feels like it is?
- 34:14Speaker 3: Get all that at rous's also to give our our
- 34:17Speaker 3: boy Matthew a little shameless plug unless you're in the
- 34:20Speaker 3: Desh your Hand store, which hopefully they figured that out.
- 34:23Speaker 3: My high's on special all through the month of May,
- 34:27Speaker 3: so go to Rosses dot com find the location near
- 34:29Speaker 3: you Rouses Rosss dot com. I'm just sitting there thinking
- 34:37Speaker 3: about when we had Blair on Chris Blair. The man
- 34:41Speaker 3: goes from football, basketball to baseball, like his August until
- 34:50Speaker 3: typically June, he's doing games.
- 34:55Speaker 5: I'm sure you know somewhere deep down our guys like,
- 34:59Speaker 5: you know what, I get my June off.
- 35:04Speaker 4: It's like, you know what I wanted. I wanted to
- 35:06Speaker 4: be an omahall, but I.
- 35:08Speaker 5: Also get my June off, but I get to rest
- 35:11Speaker 5: the instruments. Just look at the silver.
- 35:12Speaker 3: Lines, because a lot of people don't do all three right,
- 35:17Speaker 3: because baseball is not as big of a deal as
- 35:19Speaker 3: it is here and in the SEC it's becoming more
- 35:23Speaker 3: of a like ACC's you know, obviously picked up and
- 35:27Speaker 3: now the Big Ten has you know a couple of
- 35:29Speaker 3: teams that are playing well like they've picked up interest.
- 35:31Speaker 3: But that's probably the difference is that man does all three.
- 35:34Speaker 3: So I'm glad to work with him during the fall.
- 35:38Speaker 3: I will be doing that again to look forward to
- 35:41Speaker 3: being there in the booth with Chris Blair every single Saturday.
- 35:49Speaker 4: I don't like when you snicker and it makes me.
- 35:51Speaker 7: Remember yesterday somebody texted the text line and they were like,
- 35:55Speaker 7: ask Matt if this was.
- 35:58Speaker 4: You didn't hear me, You didn't hear me?
- 35:59Speaker 7: Give me a yeah, So that's what I was looking at.
- 36:02Speaker 7: They were like, I did hear you, but that's what
- 36:04Speaker 7: I was talking at. Shout out to Destrahn Rous's.
- 36:06Speaker 3: For over CHARSI oh no, oh no, I'm gonna blame
- 36:12Speaker 3: Matt though. It feels like he messed up somewhere.
- 36:19Speaker 6: Yeah, probably he was like.
- 36:20Speaker 3: Heads will roll, Yeah, I bet I bet he forgot
- 36:24Speaker 3: about it by the time he hit that doorway there.
- 36:29Speaker 4: We know Matt, we love him. Oh, we know it.
- 36:35Speaker 3: He's actually gonna be here tomorrow and then out Friday
- 36:38Speaker 3: and Monday.
- 36:40Speaker 4: Poncho.
- 36:41Speaker 3: Shout out to Poncho is sending us on a fishing
- 36:44Speaker 3: trip in Idaho.
- 36:45Speaker 4: Now I can't go.
- 36:46Speaker 3: I got a lot of things I've been gone for
- 36:47Speaker 3: my family just too much lately, and I can't do
- 36:50Speaker 3: it again. Enjoicing my family on the weekends, and from
- 36:54Speaker 3: December until last weekend, I was gone every weekend but three,
- 36:59Speaker 3: I think, So I am staying put this weekend and
- 37:04Speaker 3: looking forward to, you know, some more baseball games with
- 37:08Speaker 3: our kiddos are.
- 37:09Speaker 4: Nine and twelve of you, and then throwing out the
- 37:11Speaker 4: first pitch.
- 37:11Speaker 3: But he's going on a just straight up badass fishing
- 37:14Speaker 3: trip that Pancho is sending him on. So I'm gonna
- 37:18Speaker 3: have some fomo watching the pictures and the videos. But
- 37:21Speaker 3: he's gonna be out on Friday and Monday as well,
- 37:23Speaker 3: So not a lot of Flynn over the next couple
- 37:26Speaker 3: of days. He's not gonna be in like Flynn, if
- 37:29Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying.
- 37:30Speaker 6: Yeah, so no, it's okay, It's okay.
- 37:33Speaker 7: We'll get well, we'll excuse it, we'll allow it. Yeah,
- 37:36Speaker 7: we'll throw are we gonna have Marler fill in for
- 37:39Speaker 7: him on Friday.
- 37:42Speaker 4: You don't need a co host about to say, like,
- 37:44Speaker 4: I do a lot of radio, I uh fun, I'm okay.
- 37:49Speaker 3: I can you know I've done so plenty of times
- 37:51Speaker 3: in my life. I used to actually only do solo. So, uh,
- 37:55Speaker 3: you know, Monday's good enough. Monday's good enough. Into like
- 37:57Speaker 3: y'all are great, like y'all are are produces at talk.
- 38:00Speaker 3: I've had producers that don't talk doing so though. I
- 38:03Speaker 3: have certainly had that.
- 38:04Speaker 5: Situation that seems like someone that's just gonna used to.
- 38:09Speaker 3: Have Paul O'Neill, right, hey, yeah, you used to have
- 38:12Speaker 3: Paul and Happy and Happy with talk about K pop,
- 38:15Speaker 3: not about sports because she knew K pop back I
- 38:18Speaker 3: don't think.
- 38:18Speaker 6: K pop is like the demographic for this stay he
- 38:22Speaker 6: knew it though.
- 38:23Speaker 5: When I first started here, she was one of the
- 38:25Speaker 5: first people to train me. I didn't know what K
- 38:27Speaker 5: pop was. Madison Gilmore, Oh yeah, I learned a lot
- 38:31Speaker 5: about it.
- 38:31Speaker 3: Shout out to Happy though. She knew the boar backwards
- 38:33Speaker 3: and forwards, and she knew K pop. Oh yeah, and
- 38:39Speaker 3: now she's driving boat to Disney shut out.
- 38:43Speaker 7: Wait, okay, so this is like very niche, but they're
- 38:47Speaker 7: talking about it in the chat right now. We were
- 38:48Speaker 7: talking about it during the break when somebody had tweeted
- 38:51Speaker 7: that Lane Kiffinson's his kids to private school or whatever,
- 38:54Speaker 7: and I was like, not a private school, you, Hi
- 39:00Speaker 7: is definitively not a private school. I don't know why
- 39:02Speaker 7: y'all are like and it's so weird because people were
- 39:06Speaker 7: very mad on the internet about it and like arguing
- 39:09Speaker 7: with me, so I mean arguing with a wall because
- 39:11Speaker 7: I wasn't responding because it's such a dumb argument to have,
- 39:14Speaker 7: Like I don't get why people were so mad about
- 39:16Speaker 7: it and so adamant and digging their heels into the
- 39:20Speaker 7: fact that you hie as a private school. It is
- 39:22Speaker 7: a public school, like period, point blank. They charged tuition, yes,
- 39:27Speaker 7: but they charge like six thousand. Meanwhile, private schools charge
- 39:31Speaker 7: you like minimum twelve thousand dollars a year.
- 39:34Speaker 3: Look, I'm not gonna throw any other school and blast,
- 39:36Speaker 3: but they're schools here in the city that for four
- 39:38Speaker 3: of my children, it's the same price as one, right,
- 39:40Speaker 3: like a true private school. And look, there's nothing wrong
- 39:42Speaker 3: with private school. That's where I went. I went to
- 39:43Speaker 3: private school. Yes, I went to evangel Christian Academy.
- 39:46Speaker 6: But it's just not.
- 39:47Speaker 7: But no, it's not no matter how bad you want
- 39:49Speaker 7: it to be, it's not. And I thought it was
- 39:50Speaker 7: so weird that people were so aggressive and so angry
- 39:54Speaker 7: and so wrong on the internet about it.
- 39:57Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean yeah, like Jake, to your point, Like
- 39:59Speaker 5: the full name of the school is University lab like
- 40:01Speaker 5: lab school.
- 40:03Speaker 4: There's magnet schools, there's lab school.
- 40:04Speaker 5: Yes, there's private schools.
- 40:06Speaker 4: School.
- 40:06Speaker 6: Yeah, it's not a private school. Sorry.
- 40:09Speaker 7: I know you want it to be so bad and
- 40:10Speaker 7: you want to like make me look like I'm dumb
- 40:12Speaker 7: and all this, but I'm It's just it's definitively not
- 40:16Speaker 7: a private school.
- 40:17Speaker 6: Sorry.
- 40:17Speaker 7: That was a very niche thing that I needed to
- 40:19Speaker 7: get off my chest. But it just I got rage
- 40:22Speaker 7: baited so hard yesterday I had to like step.
- 40:24Speaker 5: Away from it. It is weird though that just like
- 40:26Speaker 5: a lot of people do so mad because.
- 40:28Speaker 3: It's a school of diversity too, Like I like don't
- 40:30Speaker 3: like I saw some of that stuff too, Like miss
- 40:32Speaker 3: me with that, Like you don't know anything about it. Yeah,
- 40:34Speaker 3: it's the best of both worlds. Like that's that's the
- 40:36Speaker 3: main reason that Katie and not put our boys in there.
- 40:38Speaker 3: We went, We're like, man, this school's got everything right,
- 40:41Speaker 3: it's got everything is going to help our children grow.
- 40:43Speaker 4: So yeah, I'll set up here, I'll defend you hide
- 40:45Speaker 4: all day are Yeah.
- 40:46Speaker 5: When you got you got a couple of magnet schools
- 40:48Speaker 5: in the city that like nobody considers private, Like Scotlandville's
- 40:52Speaker 5: a Magnet Liberty off of Lead Drive, like they're a magnet,
- 40:56Speaker 5: but I mean not. I'm assuming they're similar.
- 41:00Speaker 7: Yeah, Like we had charter schools in Texas. Those were
- 41:02Speaker 7: not private schools. They were in public schools, but you
- 41:04Speaker 7: had to pay to go to them.
- 41:09Speaker 6: So stupid. I got rage baited so hard.
- 41:11Speaker 4: I wanted I was gonna jump in.
- 41:13Speaker 6: Was like the Rivers jumped in.
- 41:15Speaker 4: I was, I was on it.
- 41:16Speaker 3: I was on my serious show and I wanted to
- 41:17Speaker 3: jump in, but I knew it, like you know me,
- 41:19Speaker 3: like once I jump in, Yeah, I can't let go.
- 41:21Speaker 3: I can't not so it's okay, Oh my god.
- 41:25Speaker 7: See there's high it's just not a private school like
- 41:29Speaker 7: Google is free go look it up. Not a private school.
- 41:33Speaker 5: I'm sorry, hand up, I don't know the difference. But
- 41:38Speaker 5: lab is the title, so.
- 41:44Speaker 3: Oh that doesn't matter if it's in select or non select.
- 41:46Speaker 3: There's like huge public schools that are in select because
- 41:49Speaker 3: they're magnet school.
- 41:49Speaker 7: It also gets I'm pretty sure it gets state money too.
- 41:57Speaker 4: Yeah there you go money, not city money. If I'm
- 41:59Speaker 4: not I think so.
- 42:00Speaker 5: Yeah, I completely forgot about that one Southern lab like
- 42:04Speaker 5: they're there Lave school too.
- 42:05Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean yeah, And this was my biggest thing
- 42:07Speaker 6: that I said.
- 42:08Speaker 7: I was like, I'm gonna respond to one and I'm
- 42:09Speaker 7: this is it By that same logic, LSU is a
- 42:14Speaker 7: private school.
- 42:15Speaker 6: You have to pay tuition to go to LSU.
- 42:17Speaker 3: We pay for like the same things that an LSU
- 42:19Speaker 3: student does. Yeah, Like it's the same concept, Like our
- 42:24Speaker 3: kids have LSU dot EEDU email addresses.
- 42:26Speaker 6: Internet one.
- 42:27Speaker 4: I got ready stated public school. So anyways, Blake, it's
- 42:33Speaker 4: just not no. You're calling it whatever you want, and
- 42:35Speaker 4: call it whatever you want too. That's fine anyways, because
- 42:38Speaker 4: I don't really care if it was a private school.
- 42:40Speaker 3: I tell you I went. I went to private school. Yeah,
- 42:43Speaker 3: you can have a laughing emoje. It's still the same thing.
- 42:45Speaker 3: Doesn't matter, And I love my god, Blake.
- 42:47Speaker 4: It's fine.
- 42:48Speaker 3: Like, find another private school at costs six thousand a year.
- 42:51Speaker 3: Now you pay tuition like you do at LSU, which
- 42:53Speaker 3: is a public university. Yeah, and you have an LSU
- 42:56Speaker 3: dot EU email address. You pay for the same things
- 42:58Speaker 3: at LSU. You have on the same calendar as is shoe.
- 43:01Speaker 3: So anyways, let's take a break, ask a bench.
- 43:03Speaker 1: When we come back off the bench, Tiger's turn Talkers
- 43:09Speaker 1: this is off the bench.
- 43:13Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, yeah, all right, this song makes me almost
- 43:21Speaker 3: feel you know.
- 43:24Speaker 4: Well that for sure I'm.
- 43:26Speaker 6: Gonna drink so much dois from this song that I
- 43:28Speaker 6: gotta go.

- 44:06Speaker 4: Yeah, one's going through right now, so I am not.

- 44:27Speaker 2: Well?
- 44:27Speaker 3: Look, look, I went to the high school that a
- 44:29Speaker 3: lot of people had a lot to say about.
- 44:31Speaker 4: That's fine. Whatever. My kids go to a school that
- 44:33Speaker 4: a lot of people have a lot to say about,
- 44:34Speaker 4: that's fine. I've been in this war.
- 44:36Speaker 3: I've been in this battle since nineteen ninety seven, when
- 44:38Speaker 3: I left Ridgewood and Middle School to go to evangel
- 44:41Speaker 3: There is ain't nothing I'm callous than this. Ain't nothing
- 44:44Speaker 3: you're going to be able to say to me. It's
- 44:45Speaker 3: gonna hurt my feelings or make me change my opinion.
- 44:47Speaker 3: I'm not going to make you change your opinion.
- 44:49Speaker 4: That's fine. Yeah, I don't care. I don't care.

- 44:55Speaker 6: Florida Series to set up pitching for Hoover?
- 44:57Speaker 8: Sure?
- 44:57Speaker 4: Why not?
- 44:57Speaker 5: Whatever?
- 44:58Speaker 4: No, not against Florida.
- 45:00Speaker 6: You're not against Florida. I'm joking, obviously not gonna. I
