[SPEAKER_01]: All right, welcome to football, Friday again, Joe Rose, Kim Boe, Camper and Joe, we're going up to a little bit of a frigid place up in New York, the Jets.
• 0:18
[SPEAKER_01]: Just got a little steam coming with him now, playing a lot better.
• 0:21
[SPEAKER_01]: Playing a lot better and playing hard.
• 0:23
[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't think a lot of things for the Dolphins, first of all, they got to deal with the Jets and then the employment, whether that concerns me, who it concerns most from me.
• 0:31
[SPEAKER_01]: One guy, two of them.
• 0:33
  [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, two of them.
• 0:34
[SPEAKER_01]: I've seen two of them.
• 0:34
[SPEAKER_01]: The narrative, the old narrative that we've heard, he's got, he's got to be able to throw it, not a foul weather guy.
• 0:40
[SPEAKER_01]: And not only throw the ball, handle the ball, not to go.
• 0:44
[SPEAKER_01]: Snaps, he'll be balls on the ground.
• 0:46
[SPEAKER_01]: Drop the balls on the ground, this and that.
• 0:48
[SPEAKER_01]: But this is it, but this is a game that the dolphins have to when we've talked about it a little bit already.
• 0:53
[SPEAKER_01]: should win is your defense is really stepping up and playing really well right now.
• 0:58
[SPEAKER_01]: Your offensive line with Austin Jackson back in and even on that left side, Savaya and I is kind of coming into his own little bit, Aaron Brewer, that offensive line is as good as it could be.
• 1:08
[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, adrenaline, this shine having Austin Jackson back at right top.
• 1:12
[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, champ, you've got wall or back and this is a game, it's a must win game for the Miami Dolph.
• 1:19
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, Bo, it's it's funny is you talk about so three game winning street going on right now last two they find a way to win after, you know, they weren't real pretty wins, but, but their W. So they got three straight seven takeaways by their defense 14 13 13 and 17 or 14 14 and 17 they're doing great on on defense right now given a points a lot not allowing a lot of points I should say.
• 1:45
[SPEAKER_00]: The big thing, the running game is solid.
• 1:48
[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to really help in the whole weather.
• 1:50
[SPEAKER_00]: They can continue to run it.
• 1:51
[SPEAKER_00]: But we got to get to a going.
• 1:53
[SPEAKER_00]: To has got to play better.
• 1:55
[SPEAKER_00]: And when he does run too many times, and I know we got to keep him healthy.
• 2:01
  [SPEAKER_00]: I understand.
• 2:02
  [SPEAKER_00]: You know, we're sitting.
• 2:03
  [SPEAKER_00]: I can't complain that he's always hurt.
• 2:04
  [SPEAKER_00]: And then turn around.
• 2:06
[SPEAKER_00]: But Bowie got to be able to get some first down to him.
• 2:08
  [SPEAKER_00]: You run.
• 2:08
[SPEAKER_00]: And he had an opportunity to close out that game or almost he slid too early.
• 2:13
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they come up short.
• 2:14
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, just his, just his awareness seems to be a little off putting right now.
• 2:20
[SPEAKER_01]: The awareness of you two more yards and you get a first down, continue to drive.
• 2:24
[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't think that, you know, I think he's just going to leave down side, but but also it's just, you know, the one thing like we look at how well a chance going to be a pro ball player.
• 2:33
[SPEAKER_01]: If he's not, it's going to be a travesty.
• 2:35
[SPEAKER_01]: But you know, and you had a big game when over 1,000 yards, last video at 100 with 134 yards, last week somewhere around there, goes over 1,000 yards for the season.
• 2:46
[SPEAKER_01]: And in last game, I don't think he got a ball thrown to him.
• 2:50
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, so, and which has been a big part of his game when went from a to a top of the team.
• 2:55
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, when you're top, top, top receivers in the last week, you, you won without getting a football.
• 3:01
[SPEAKER_01]: And to me, there was that gap in the, there was that gap between the first second quarter and the third quarter.
• 3:07
[SPEAKER_01]: where you didn't give them the ball much, you didn't throw the ball to them.
• 3:10
[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know why that happened.
• 3:12
  [SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know if that's coaching.
• 3:14
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if that's too in our finding him.
• 3:16
  [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what that is.
• 3:17
[SPEAKER_01]: But we need to get better quarterback play and you can't discard a guy like HM in the middle of the game.
• 3:26
  [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
• 3:26
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'll tell you what, they'll outside runs.
• 3:28
[SPEAKER_00]: We have absolutely, it's good right now as anybody at football pitching the ball wide.
• 3:33
[SPEAKER_00]: whether he cuts back or he runs wide and runs down the sideline for a touchdown.
• 3:37
[SPEAKER_00]: He is with that extra gear that he has.
• 3:39
  [SPEAKER_00]: He's just unstoppable.
• 3:41
[SPEAKER_00]: And his bow mentioned some of our offensive linemen and our tight ends and our full back getting out front for lead blocking.
• 3:48
[SPEAKER_00]: It really looks well executed right now.
• 3:51
  [SPEAKER_00]: So that's a good sign.
• 3:52
[SPEAKER_00]: But you know, at some point, and this, these are words for Mike me again.
• 3:56
[SPEAKER_00]: You, according to that, it's going to have to put some place as a competition gets, you know, more difficult as you look at the schedule and you've got three cool weather games left.
• 4:05
[SPEAKER_00]: I think we're all kind of curious to see what the dolphins are going to look like.
• 4:08
[SPEAKER_01]: So let's flip to the defensive side is playing really well really well that I mean you put that they put that team under shoulders last week to win that football game and they're playing really well Jordan Brooks unbelievable Terrell Dodson is playing that show that's a kind of a linebackers that they've got there
• 4:24
[SPEAKER_01]: very Bradley Chubbis coming on strong right now and those young guys biggers had a big game last week.
• 4:30
[SPEAKER_01]: You see in him Phillips is his is making some play.
• 4:33
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Grant is a guy we didn't see much at all last week.
• 4:36
[SPEAKER_01]: But I think now with those guys are becoming they're understanding the game more and it's allowing Zach Sealer to not babysit them as much.
• 4:44
[SPEAKER_01]: now he can play anyway he can play not worry about guys not going to let them do what they do let me do what I do and I think that's that's been a big part of it past rush you'd like to drop get a little bit more active in there also he dropped into a couple of a sack and a half last week um we'd like to see more impact out him in a second dairy make a fits Patrick big you know two point pick two point pick comes up with a with a sack
• 5:09
[SPEAKER_00]: And Jack Jones against the commander also comes up over time interception.
• 5:14
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, those are the plays.
• 5:15
[SPEAKER_00]: Those game changing plays at the end of games at these guys are making seven takeaways the last three games by this so with this with this defense West plan right now how much concern we have for Tyrod Taylor
• 5:27
[SPEAKER_00]: uh... i feel pretty good about our matchups and we think that's i i started by the way feel great last week and for a while especially in the first app at sixteen enough and you felt really good uh... i i feel good about the the defense i just want to see us getting even in cold weather and probably can be in the low thirties you still got to be able to throw the ball you got to be able to complete some passes yeah no doubt no doubt
• 5:49
  [SPEAKER_01]: I think we'll do it.
• 5:50
  [SPEAKER_01]: I like the dolphins.
• 5:51
[SPEAKER_01]: I like the dolphins in a win.
• 5:53
[SPEAKER_01]: And then we come into a we'll talk about this next week.
• 5:56
[SPEAKER_01]: Then we come into a stretch that's going to tell tales about what this team is.
• 5:59
[SPEAKER_00]: Money and I football and there's good chance Steelers and dolphins have the same record.
• 6:04
  [SPEAKER_00]: That's right.
• 6:04
[SPEAKER_00]: That's going to do it for us.
• 6:05
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see you next Friday for football friends.
