Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: So Mark Simone show continues, Well, it's Saint Patrick's Day,
- 0:09Speaker 1: and it's a lot of fun in New York.
- 0:11Speaker 2: It's a bit of a mess. The parade begins around
- 0:15Speaker 2: now and goes till this afternoon, and then it never
- 0:19Speaker 2: ends because millions of people show up with this parade
- 0:22Speaker 2: and they don't just leave immediately. They linger around, throw
- 0:25Speaker 2: up all over the place, where all sorts of green
- 0:28Speaker 2: stuff invade every pub, bar, tavern, restaurant, everything. So it'll
- 0:33Speaker 2: be going on all day to day. Hey, the Oscars,
- 0:38Speaker 2: it was I don't know. It wasn't a great Oscar ceremony.
- 0:43Speaker 2: It wasn't a horrendous Oscar ceremony. They did tone down
- 0:47Speaker 2: the political nonsense. There was that one idiot yelling about
- 0:51Speaker 2: free Palestine, and then there was Jimmy Kimmel, who is
- 0:56Speaker 2: just an angry, angry, bitter guy. Can you mention if
- 0:59Speaker 2: you had Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel and you had
- 1:01Speaker 2: an angry contest, who could be the angrier guy? And
- 1:05Speaker 2: then he's doing this interview started to go viral. Afterwards
- 1:09Speaker 2: there are reporters asking him something and he says said
- 1:12Speaker 2: he's exhausted, exhausted by the state of the world. You're
- 1:18Speaker 2: a comedian. You don't have to be exhausted. Johnny Carson,
- 1:24Speaker 2: we were talking about him yesterday, the whole Vietnam War.
- 1:26Speaker 2: He is on the air having fun every night. He's
- 1:29Speaker 2: on the air through assassinations and Kennedy assassination, Martin Luther
- 1:34Speaker 2: King assassination, riots all over the place in nineteen sixty
- 1:38Speaker 2: He's on the air through all of this. He's not exhausted.
- 1:41Speaker 2: He's making the country laugh every night. But Jimmy Kimmel
- 1:44Speaker 2: is exhausted by the state of the world. Then he
- 1:48Speaker 2: went on to brand the United States a ridiculous country.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Kimmel said, he was over the US. This is on
- 1:58Speaker 2: the red carpet, ridiculous country, were ridiculous. It's a ridiculous country.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Just an angry, angry, bitter guy. You know, late night
- 2:09Speaker 2: television used to be Johnny Carson was nothing but fun.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Jay Leno, big happy guy, nothing but fun, the greatest monologue.
- 2:18Speaker 2: It used to be Dick Cavit. You know, Cavot was fun,
- 2:24Speaker 2: also very highbrow. He'd be interviewing you know, Katherine Hepburn
- 2:29Speaker 2: and Fred Astaire and all these big guess that don't
- 2:32Speaker 2: normally do talk shows. And then and then Conan O'Brien
- 2:37Speaker 2: came along, all right, he wasn't the greatest, but happy fun.
- 2:42Speaker 2: And then Jimmy Fallon takes over the Tonight Show and
- 2:44Speaker 2: he was happy and fun. And then Colbert comes along
- 2:48Speaker 2: with his ugly, angry, bitter hate kind of show, and
- 2:53Speaker 2: it starts to beat Colbert at Fallon. So Fallon says, well,
- 2:56Speaker 2: maybe I better do that. He tries to get vicious
- 2:58Speaker 2: and ugly with the political but it doesn't work with Follan.
- 3:01Speaker 2: He's too nice a guy. But the whole thing went
- 3:06Speaker 2: downhill after Colbert. Then they put on Kimmel, who used
- 3:09Speaker 2: to be a comedian. Now he decides it's angry, bitter
- 3:12Speaker 2: Trump bashing hate speech. Just I mean, the whole idea
- 3:15Speaker 2: of the late night television The Tonight Show was really
- 3:18Speaker 2: created by Steve Allen. The whole idea was entertainment, light, fun,
- 3:22Speaker 2: entertainment right before you go to sleep. The Tonight Show
- 3:26Speaker 2: now it's like, why would you want to if you're
- 3:29Speaker 2: a big Trump hater, why would you want to watch Colbert?
- 3:32Speaker 2: This angry bitter guy riley up about Trump just get
- 3:35Speaker 2: you even angrier about Trump right before you go to sleep.
- 3:38Speaker 2: It doesn't make a lot of sense. These guys killed
- 3:41Speaker 2: the whole genre. It's about to go. Colbert has been fired.
- 3:45Speaker 2: When he goes off the air and may watch, they're
- 3:47Speaker 2: going to replace him with a game show or something else,
- 3:50Speaker 2: and it'll get triple the ratings. Kimmel is next. He's
- 3:53Speaker 2: doesn't really have a new contract. They gave him an
- 3:55Speaker 2: extension of his old contract for a year, which is
- 3:58Speaker 2: a very insulting thing to do. New contract, Well, just
- 4:01Speaker 2: extend this one one year, so that'll be up in
- 4:04Speaker 2: six months and then that'll be the end of that,
- 4:06Speaker 2: and then it'll be Fallin all alone, and if he's smart,
- 4:09Speaker 2: he'll go back to what the tonight just supposed to
- 4:11Speaker 2: be fun entertainment, lighthearted. It should be pretty good. Kim
- 4:17Speaker 2: Will also went after Milania Trump for that documentary. He
- 4:23Speaker 2: attacked her documentary. It's just pathetic, awful. It didn't win
- 4:28Speaker 2: anything and didn't get nominated, and he went on and on,
- 4:31Speaker 2: and of course the critics pointing out it's not eligible
- 4:34Speaker 2: because it didn't come out in twenty twenty five. It
- 4:38Speaker 2: came out in twenty twenty six. It's not eligible to
- 4:41Speaker 2: be nominated. So but the question is how did the
- 4:45Speaker 2: oscars do ratings wise? Well, let me just put it
- 4:50Speaker 2: in perspective. What was the biggest Oscars? I think ninety eight.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Nineteen ninety eight the Oscars got fifty eight million viewers.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Nineteen ninety eight, fifty eight eight million. Now what was
- 5:03Speaker 2: the worst one? I think it was twenty twenty one.
- 5:06Speaker 2: It was kind of a pandemic that it was towards
- 5:11Speaker 2: the end of the pandemic. Twenty twenty one Oscars got
- 5:15Speaker 2: ten million, ten million. Now, last year, the Oscars made
- 5:21Speaker 2: a bit of a recovery. Last year the Oscars got
- 5:25Speaker 2: twenty million viewers, twenty million. This year, this past Sunday night,
- 5:33Speaker 2: the Oscars got fifteen million. So it's down from last year,
- 5:39Speaker 2: down a lot from last year fifteen million. And it
- 5:42Speaker 2: should have been a good year because it was on
- 5:44Speaker 2: ABC TV, it was also streaming, and it was also
- 5:47Speaker 2: on YouTube. There were a lot of ways to watch it.
- 5:50Speaker 2: But I got fifteen million. Fifty four percent of that
- 5:55Speaker 2: ABC television, the ABC network, that was only really about
- 5:59Speaker 2: half watch it on the network, thirty percent watched it
- 6:02Speaker 2: on streaming, sixteen percent watched it on YouTube. So and
- 6:08Speaker 2: I think this isn't this the last year on ABC.
- 6:10Speaker 2: I think it goes to YouTube after that. So it's
- 6:15Speaker 2: really kind of the last I mean, network TV really
- 6:17Speaker 2: is just shrinking and shrinking and shrinking and shrinking. Things
- 6:21Speaker 2: like the Oscars don't get what the audience it used
- 6:23Speaker 2: to get. The only thing left they really have his
- 6:27Speaker 2: sports football baseball, but they're starting to lose that. For instance,
- 6:32Speaker 2: the Yankees opening day to day, it's going to be
- 6:34Speaker 2: on Netflix. It won't be on television, Netflix, Amazon. All
- 6:39Speaker 2: in talks with the NFL as we speak about taking
- 6:43Speaker 2: it taking away from the networks. They speaking of the
- 6:46Speaker 2: Oscars Barbara streisand they finally got her. They were trying
- 6:50Speaker 2: to get her there. She has a manager. He's a
- 6:53Speaker 2: wonderful guy, Marty Erlickman. He just retired her manager. He
- 7:00Speaker 2: retired at the age of ninety six. Now he was
- 7:03Speaker 2: their manager from the day she started in show business,
- 7:07Speaker 2: which is like nineteen sixty two she first became famous.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Was it sixty two or sixty three. She was this
- 7:14Speaker 2: unknown singer from Brooklyn. She was a little place downtown
- 7:18Speaker 2: I think was called the Bone sois that's where she
- 7:20Speaker 2: first got noticed and got famous. He was the manager then,
- 7:24Speaker 2: so for her entire career. He was the manager. He's
- 7:28Speaker 2: ninety six years old, just decided to retire this past week.
- 7:33Speaker 2: People were stunned that he announced his retirement. He had
- 7:36Speaker 2: his office phone disconnected. That's how when they knew he
- 7:39Speaker 2: was serious. But he's actually retired. You know. Stephanie Rule
- 7:45Speaker 2: at MSNBC nut so she's yelling about Trump, she said,
- 7:50Speaker 2: the real scandal, what's really disgusting is everybody has his
- 7:53Speaker 2: phone number, his cell phone number, you know, in the
- 7:57Speaker 2: first term, like every other press. When he took office,
- 8:01Speaker 2: they took his cell phone away. And that's what happens
- 8:04Speaker 2: when you're present, they take your cell phone and they
- 8:06Speaker 2: hand you a cell phone. It's a special presidential cell phone.
- 8:10Speaker 2: This is the cell phone you will use from now on.
- 8:13Speaker 2: It's a special presidential cell phone, and it has nothing
- 8:16Speaker 2: in it. It can make a call, it can receive
- 8:19Speaker 2: a call, but everything else. It's an iPhone, but it's
- 8:22Speaker 2: been gutted. There's nothing else in it. It's got all
- 8:25Speaker 2: kinds of security technology so you can't hack it. And
- 8:28Speaker 2: that was all he could use is that special cell phone.
- 8:33Speaker 2: And they were very careful about who had the number
- 8:35Speaker 2: and if he called you from it on your caller ID.
- 8:39Speaker 2: It would be such weird. The caller ID would say
- 8:42Speaker 2: one minus zero x three squared. It would have like
- 8:47Speaker 2: this weird. So I funnily ask somebody what that was.
- 8:50Speaker 2: It's they're calling you through a scrambler. So that's a scrambler.
- 8:53Speaker 2: So you get no caller ID. Well, when he got
- 8:55Speaker 2: back for the second term, they got that presidential cell phone,
- 9:00Speaker 2: but he decided he would keep his own cell phone,
- 9:02Speaker 2: his own private iPhone, his regular iPhone, and he gave
- 9:06Speaker 2: the number. Everybody has the number. Everybody he knows. You
- 9:10Speaker 2: can text him whenever you want, you can call him
- 9:12Speaker 2: whenever you want, and whenever you'd see a big ceo,
- 9:15Speaker 2: Tim Cook or Zuckerberg or any of those guys, say
- 9:19Speaker 2: you have my cell number. Here, take my cell number.
- 9:21Speaker 2: If you have any problems, call me. Now. This drove
- 9:24Speaker 2: Washington crazy. You're not supposed to be able to just
- 9:27Speaker 2: call the president.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Now.
- 9:28Speaker 2: You know who really got crazy about this, Congress. This
- 9:32Speaker 2: really buged them because if you and he would say
- 9:36Speaker 2: right in the meeting, you have all the Silicon Valley
- 9:40Speaker 2: tech CEOs, if you need anything, just call me. This
- 9:45Speaker 2: is the last thing politicians want. They If you can
- 9:48Speaker 2: you say you have a problem, you can call the president.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Piece there's a new law or regulation or something you
- 9:53Speaker 2: need looked at, you could call him and he'll look
- 9:57Speaker 2: at it. They don't like this is the worst thing
- 10:01Speaker 2: you can do to Washington. What they want is the
- 10:03Speaker 2: old system where if you had a law or regulation
- 10:07Speaker 2: or something you wanted to do something, you went out
- 10:08Speaker 2: and you hired a lobbyist. You hired a lobbying for him.
- 10:11Speaker 2: You gave them twenty million bucks to the lobby for you,
- 10:14Speaker 2: and they would give it to the politicians. That's what
- 10:17Speaker 2: Schumer and those people do for a living. They collect
- 10:20Speaker 2: money from these lobbyists. Not that they put it in
- 10:24Speaker 2: their pocket, who knows. But what they do is when
- 10:26Speaker 2: they were going to run for office, Hey can you
- 10:28Speaker 2: donate a million? Can you donate fifty thousand? Can you
- 10:31Speaker 2: donate three hundred and eighty thousand? Yeah, of course, And
- 10:34Speaker 2: they put it in your pack, your political pack, your
- 10:37Speaker 2: super pack. And that's what you do. If you're Schumer
- 10:40Speaker 2: and you're going to run for reelection, you need twenty
- 10:43Speaker 2: five million, you call these lobbyists. They'll raise it for
- 10:46Speaker 2: you in two seconds and donate it. Now you got
- 10:49Speaker 2: twenty five million to run. Well, if you can just
- 10:51Speaker 2: call the president, he'll take care of it faster than
- 10:53Speaker 2: Schumer will and you don't have to hire the lobbyist.
- 10:56Speaker 2: So all the politicians are fuming, all the lobbyists are
- 10:59Speaker 2: all upset. This is the worst thing that ever happened
- 11:02Speaker 2: to him. And Stephanie Rule here she is yelling and screaming.
- 11:06Speaker 2: This is disgusting. All they have to do is pick
- 11:08Speaker 2: up the phone and call the president. That's access that
- 11:11Speaker 2: they shouldn't have. It creates political influence. Well, either way,
- 11:16Speaker 2: they got the political influence. This way, you call the president,
- 11:19Speaker 2: you tell them the problem, and he doesn't bend over
- 11:21Speaker 2: backwards for these guys. He's the first guy to stand
- 11:24Speaker 2: up to these guys if he doesn't agree. But otherwise
- 11:27Speaker 2: you had the same political influence. You just had to
- 11:29Speaker 2: pay for it. So Trump is taking their business model
- 11:34Speaker 2: and just shattered it. He speaking of Congress, they always
- 11:36Speaker 2: talk about the president's approval ratings. They keep this very quiet,
- 11:40Speaker 2: and the polling companies keep it very quiet. But right
- 11:43Speaker 2: now Congress Democrats in Congress have the lowest approval rating
- 11:48Speaker 2: in the history of polling. Schumer, Hakeem jeffries A give
- 11:52Speaker 2: CNN credit. They had their pole guy with the map
- 11:56Speaker 2: showing the pulse and he actually put this on the
- 11:58Speaker 2: air on CNN. Democrats in Congress have the lowest approval
- 12:02Speaker 2: rating of anything, anything anywhere in history right now. Hey,
- 12:08Speaker 2: people are always asking about these Tucker Carlson, Megan Kelly,
- 12:16Speaker 2: who else canvas owens? Why are they making these crazy
- 12:19Speaker 2: comments all the time? And now here's Piers Morgan, Pierre's
- 12:22Speaker 2: Morgan going on and on about how bad the president is.
- 12:25Speaker 2: The president doesn't have a clue. President Trump is clueless.
- 12:29Speaker 2: His mission statements have changed by the hour that people
- 12:31Speaker 2: are surprised. We'll wait a minute. Piers Morgan was so
- 12:35Speaker 2: such good friends with President Trump. He was on the
- 12:37Speaker 2: Apprentice with him. What's going on? Well, he's starting a
- 12:42Speaker 2: new network. He's raised thirty million dollars and he wants
- 12:44Speaker 2: to start a new network. And what do you do
- 12:46Speaker 2: when you want to start You try to get yourself headlines.
- 12:49Speaker 2: You try to be a big part of the news cycle.
- 12:52Speaker 2: You try to go viral. That's why Tucker Carlson, Megan Kelly,
- 12:56Speaker 2: they're the two wackiest. They're like the They're the new
- 12:59Speaker 2: Alex Jones. They just want to go viral. And now
- 13:02Speaker 2: the problem is if you say something wacky, something outrageous,
- 13:06Speaker 2: and it's everywhere, It's on every website, it goes viral.
- 13:09Speaker 2: It's all over Twitter, it's all over the place. They're
- 13:11Speaker 2: talking about it on MSNBC, CNN. You totally dominate the
- 13:15Speaker 2: news cycle for a day. It's addictive. You really get addicted.
- 13:19Speaker 2: Now next week you got to come up with another
- 13:20Speaker 2: crazy thing to say. So that's what these these types do.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Tucker Carlson started claiming earlier this week the CIA was
- 13:30Speaker 2: out to get him. The CIA has been doing surveillance.
- 13:32Speaker 2: The CIA is about to indict him. They're going to
- 13:35Speaker 2: accuse him of war crimes. He was talking to somebody
- 13:38Speaker 2: in Iran. Guarantee you the CI couldn't care less about
- 13:42Speaker 2: Tucker Carlson, but it's outrageous. They're going to charge him
- 13:46Speaker 2: onder the Foreign Agent Act. And it works. It got
- 13:50Speaker 2: him all over the news. If you were watching Saturday
- 13:52Speaker 2: Night Live, that some guy came out and did Tucker Carlson.
- 13:55Speaker 2: He was parodied on Saturday Night Live. So he's going
- 13:58Speaker 2: to keep doing this. Megan Kelly starts picking on our friend.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Mark Levin starts a war with him. Then she calls
- 14:05Speaker 2: him micro penis. She goes the reason for this is
- 14:10Speaker 2: he has a micro penis and he calls a Levin
- 14:13Speaker 2: mister micro penis. What the hell does that mean? And
- 14:17Speaker 2: why would you even go in that direction? President Trump
- 14:21Speaker 2: so offended by this, disgusting, awful Megan Kelly puts out
- 14:26Speaker 2: a massive tweet defending Mark Levin, talking about how irrelevant
- 14:30Speaker 2: and useless and washed up and fired Megan Kelly is.
- 14:35Speaker 2: But it gets her in the news every day. She's
- 14:37Speaker 2: got publicist, she's got all sorts of people trying to
- 14:40Speaker 2: get this stuff out there. So when you're fired and
- 14:42Speaker 2: you're out of work, you know, if you're on Fox News,
- 14:45Speaker 2: everybody will see you. If you're on MSNBC, not everybody,
- 14:49Speaker 2: but some people will see. If you're fired and doing
- 14:52Speaker 2: the show from your bedroom, you got to say crazy
- 14:54Speaker 2: things to get attention. Otherwise who's going to know you
- 14:57Speaker 2: even exist? So they get addicted. That's why they do it.
- 15:00Speaker 2: They can't stop. Hey, we'll take some calls. Next. Eight
- 15:02Speaker 2: hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number
- 15:06Speaker 2: eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Set up, said on the iHeartRadio app to w o
- 15:13Speaker 1: R to hear Mark live? Is that another for Mark's podcast?
- 15:17Speaker 1: To hear him any time?
- 15:19Speaker 4: Now?
- 15:19Speaker 2: Back to Mark Zimon on wo R Well, Yeah, Saint
- 15:24Speaker 2: Patrick's State Parade underway. It starts around forty second forty
- 15:28Speaker 2: third Street. Although it was a building, a skyscraper forty
- 15:30Speaker 2: third Street, massive fire and smoke billowing out of it.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Forty third in Madison. Looks like that's under control, but
- 15:37Speaker 2: it's a traffic nightmare. Don't drive into midtown Manhattan. Let's
- 15:41Speaker 2: take some calls. Let's go to uh Frank in Arizona. Frank,
- 15:44Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 15:46Speaker 4: Doing?
- 15:46Speaker 3: Mark? Mark? Two quick points. Last week I paid forty
- 15:50Speaker 3: twenty five for gas at the pump and you, well,
- 15:52Speaker 3: I don't mind if I know it's going to obtain
- 15:55Speaker 3: pieces in the Middle East. It's money well spent. I
- 15:57Speaker 3: got no problem with that.
- 15:59Speaker 4: Well.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Second thing, it's just a spike for a couple of weeks.
- 16:02Speaker 2: It's not like Biden where you're going to pay. You're
- 16:04Speaker 2: not going to pay the Biden price for five years,
- 16:06Speaker 2: four years.
- 16:06Speaker 4: It'll just no, no, and the.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Second thing market But I think you'll agree with me
- 16:09Speaker 3: on this one. After I listen to Kamala Harris for
- 16:12Speaker 3: five years I realized where she got her speaking skills.
- 16:16Speaker 3: She went to the Casey Stangle School of public speaking. Now,
- 16:19Speaker 3: for the people who don't know what I'm talking.
- 16:21Speaker 2: About, going on, for those of you under one hundred
- 16:23Speaker 2: and twenty, Casey Stangle was the Yankees manager.
- 16:26Speaker 3: No I know, but if you watch him on YouTube,
- 16:28Speaker 3: you will laugh because that's where she got her skills.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Well, actually, I know what you're saying, but there's a
- 16:34Speaker 2: big difference. Kamala Harris is just a yo yo and
- 16:36Speaker 2: a babbling idiot. But Casey Stangle, he was kind of
- 16:40Speaker 2: an uneducated, crude kind of a guy, but there was
- 16:43Speaker 2: tremendous wisdom in the things he said, tremendous wisdom. Even
- 16:48Speaker 2: Yogi with some of those yogisms, a certain wisdom, and
- 16:52Speaker 2: miss Stangle was a smart guy. Let's go to Joe
- 16:56Speaker 2: and Elmwood Park. Joe, how you doing?
- 16:58Speaker 4: Good morning?
- 16:58Speaker 3: Mark?
- 16:59Speaker 2: Happy is Saint Patrick's thing?
- 17:02Speaker 3: As you ve just right on the money. He's right
- 17:05Speaker 3: with the gas that was refined maybe six eight months ago.
- 17:08Speaker 3: My uncle had My uncle's had a gas station for
- 17:10Speaker 3: sixty five years. He's right on the money.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Yeah, no gas prices you know, it's up to one
- 17:17Speaker 2: hundred and two dollars a barrel. Well, we're not buying
- 17:19Speaker 2: any barrels right now. We have plenty of gas and
- 17:21Speaker 2: we don't get any gas from the straits of Hornos.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Let's go to Pat and Scarsdale.
- 17:25Speaker 4: Pat, how you doing very well?
- 17:27Speaker 5: Mark?
- 17:28Speaker 4: How are you doing good? Good?
- 17:30Speaker 6: I'll tell you. You know, it's a follow up to
- 17:31Speaker 6: this gutry thing. You're going to see a lot of
- 17:33Speaker 6: wealthy people very quietly get you know, you're going to
- 17:37Speaker 6: see an electrical engineer pair up with a medical team
- 17:40Speaker 6: and they're going to insert like a device into these
- 17:43Speaker 6: wealthy people, maybe in a tooth or something like that.
- 17:47Speaker 6: It'll be like a homing device, so if ever they
- 17:48Speaker 6: get kidnapped, it's you know, they can actually spot them.
- 17:53Speaker 6: I know they do it in pets right now, but
- 17:55Speaker 6: I think that's going to be the future.
- 17:57Speaker 2: I don't know, you want something inserted into you?
- 18:00Speaker 6: Well, I think it's better than what's happened to this
- 18:04Speaker 6: gut three woman. At least they would be able to
- 18:06Speaker 6: track her. Wish she would you know where they could
- 18:08Speaker 6: find her.
- 18:10Speaker 2: I know, it's an interesting concept. You can install a
- 18:12Speaker 2: little chip in somebody, you'd always be able to track them,
- 18:18Speaker 2: although who knows who kidnapped her. It was like some
- 18:22Speaker 2: crazy breaking, bad cartel type people. They'll just take out
- 18:26Speaker 2: a knife and cut the chip right out. I don't know,
- 18:31Speaker 2: I don't know. That's I've got to think about that one.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Although there probably be something you could to stop the
- 18:39Speaker 2: chip with, Like you put them in a bag, some
- 18:41Speaker 2: kind of aluminum looking bag, zip it shut and the
- 18:43Speaker 2: chip can't radiate through there. Let's go to Bob Montvale,
- 18:47Speaker 2: New Jersey. Bob, how you doing hanging in there?
- 18:50Speaker 3: Mark?
- 18:51Speaker 2: Thanks?
- 18:51Speaker 7: You know there is a late night TV savior out there, Mark,
- 18:54Speaker 7: and you know her well, Ronda Shear.
- 18:57Speaker 3: Oh yeah, he plays that.
- 18:58Speaker 7: They play that stuff on like Channel two at late
- 19:02Speaker 7: nights with her stick her product. She's the current. She
- 19:07Speaker 7: is what Cyddy Sweeney wants to be and she can
- 19:10Speaker 7: do it.
- 19:11Speaker 2: Well. Yeah, we like Rond this year. She's great. You
- 19:13Speaker 2: know who really is the current? Johnny Carson is Jimmy Fayla.
- 19:17Speaker 2: He does a Saturday night show. Gutfeld is very good
- 19:20Speaker 2: every night at ten o'clock. He's kind of Carson like,
- 19:22Speaker 2: I mean, it's a different type of show. It's more
- 19:24Speaker 2: of a you know, four chairs and kind of a
- 19:26Speaker 2: sit down kind of show, but Gutfeld and watch the monologue.
- 19:30Speaker 2: He'll make fun of both sides. But the best is
- 19:33Speaker 2: Jimmy Fayla. Every Saturday night, ten o'clock on the Fox
- 19:36Speaker 2: News channel. He does the best. That's currently the best
- 19:40Speaker 2: monologue in television Saturday nights. And if you don't get
- 19:43Speaker 2: to see it Saturday, it's just going on YouTube somewhere,
- 19:45Speaker 2: or get his monologue every Saturday night because you can
- 19:48Speaker 2: get it now for last Saturday night. It's like a long,
- 19:50Speaker 2: fifteen minute monologue and he'll do both sides, jokes about
- 19:55Speaker 2: both sides. That's what Carson did. You know you could
- 19:58Speaker 2: watch Carson every night for thirty years and you had
- 20:02Speaker 2: no idea where he stood politically, absolutely none. You could
- 20:06Speaker 2: watch Jay Leno every night and he did a monologue
- 20:10Speaker 2: that was the Carson monologue was twenty five jokes. When
- 20:13Speaker 2: Leno took over, that was his strength doing the monologue.
- 20:16Speaker 2: He stretched it into fifty jokes every night, and you
- 20:18Speaker 2: can watch it every night. He was on for seventeen years.
- 20:22Speaker 2: By the end of the seventeen years, you'd have no
- 20:25Speaker 2: idea where he stood politically. And that's the way it
- 20:28Speaker 2: should be. Hey. When we come back, Bill O'Reilly will
- 20:30Speaker 2: be with us a lot to talk to him about
- 20:32Speaker 2: next on seven to ten wor.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Mister New York marximone seven wi Hey, Bill.
- 20:42Speaker 2: O'Reilly Across the number one TV anchor for decades and
- 20:45Speaker 2: the number one best selling non fix north or on Earth,
- 20:48Speaker 2: doing more than ever right now. You can watch his show,
- 20:51Speaker 2: you can get the books, you can get the columns.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Everything's at billoreilly dot com. Billoreilly dot com. Also make
- 20:57Speaker 2: sure you check out his YouTube channel. A lot of
- 21:00Speaker 2: great stuff there Bill O'Reilly's YouTube channel. And the latest
- 21:03Speaker 2: thing is this great podcast he's doing every week. It's
- 21:06Speaker 2: called We'll Do It Live. First episode was Rob Schneider.
- 21:10Speaker 2: It's already out. Check out Bill O'Reilly's new podcast, We'll
- 21:13Speaker 2: Do It Live, and he's with us now, Bill O'Reilly,
- 21:16Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 21:18Speaker 5: I'm down here in DC for the White House Saint
- 21:21Speaker 5: Patrick's Extravaganz at this afternoon.
- 21:24Speaker 4: So I'm all right, Oh.
- 21:26Speaker 2: This sounds like trouble. What is the extravagance?
- 21:28Speaker 5: Yeah, it's cold down here and it's a madhouse at
- 21:31Speaker 5: the White House with the Iranian stuff. But we're going
- 21:36Speaker 5: on over and I will have a report this evening
- 21:40Speaker 5: on the No Spin News.
- 21:42Speaker 2: All right, when the President grabs you and goes, what
- 21:43Speaker 2: do you think? Wow, how are we doing in Iran?
- 21:45Speaker 2: What are you going to tell him?
- 21:47Speaker 5: I have no idea because I don't see the intel.
- 21:51Speaker 5: The Israeli He's waxed two big Iranian thugs last night,
- 21:56Speaker 5: which is good for the world. But the world isn't
- 21:59Speaker 5: helping the USA. Not unusual these days, defeat the terrorst
- 22:06Speaker 5: state of Iran. So we get some good news, we
- 22:09Speaker 5: get some bad news.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Yeah. So when they say the messaging isn't there, and
- 22:13Speaker 2: he's a contradictory, I think the normal people are pretty
- 22:17Speaker 2: clear on why we're there. That's pretty easy to figure out,
- 22:19Speaker 2: isn't it.
- 22:21Speaker 5: Yeah, I agree with that. If you don't believe that
- 22:24Speaker 5: Iran is a terrorist state, then you live in a
- 22:26Speaker 5: delusional world. Of course, it is. The word imminent got
- 22:31Speaker 5: them in trouble. A guy just resigned from the Counter
- 22:36Speaker 5: Terrorism Organization under the Trump administration, saying that the attack
- 22:43Speaker 5: wasn't necessary at this time because it was no imminent threat.
- 22:47Speaker 4: I don't know. I'm here and I'm.
- 22:51Speaker 5: Gonna find out as much as I can, obviously, but
- 22:55Speaker 5: I don't get you know, Intel reports every morning as
- 23:00Speaker 5: a president does, so I don't know what Iran was
- 23:04Speaker 5: up to and what kind of weaponry they were close
- 23:07Speaker 5: to having, and I think that's got to be put
- 23:12Speaker 5: out there. I don't know if this is the right
- 23:14Speaker 5: time to do it, but certainly American people ever write
- 23:17Speaker 5: to know that.
- 23:18Speaker 2: Yeah, soff just gets settled in a relatively settled in
- 23:22Speaker 2: a month and things better in Iran, and then Cuba
- 23:25Speaker 2: falls and opens up and another wouldn't this president obviously
- 23:30Speaker 2: deserve a Nobel Price and wouldn't this be historic?
- 23:34Speaker 5: Never going to get the Nobel Prize? The Europeans hate him,
- 23:37Speaker 5: and I mean that across the board, and just you
- 23:39Speaker 5: go to Europe, boy, I can't think of another president
- 23:44Speaker 5: more despised in our history than Donald Trump is by
- 23:49Speaker 5: the Europeans.
- 23:50Speaker 4: So he's never going to get.
- 23:51Speaker 5: Anything from them. But if Iran does capitulate, which is
- 23:57Speaker 5: certainly impossibility, and then Cuba falls, which is almost I
- 24:04Speaker 5: hate to use the word imminent, but it's pretty close,
- 24:08Speaker 5: they're going to sign a deal repudiating communism and allowing
- 24:13Speaker 5: private investment to come into the island. I think that's
- 24:16Speaker 5: going to happen within the next few days. And if
- 24:20Speaker 5: Trump can win Iran on top of that, then he
- 24:24Speaker 5: becomes a stronger president then going in. But if the
- 24:28Speaker 5: converse happens, then the Republicans are in trouble next November.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Yeah, Now, remind me again why everybody hates him so much.
- 24:35Speaker 2: I know, he's not your typical policy he's not a politician.
- 24:37Speaker 2: He's a rough gruff for New Yorker.
- 24:39Speaker 5: But yeah, that's the good question. So Europe is weak,
- 24:45Speaker 5: and Germany's the worst, absolute worst, and they're the most
- 24:50Speaker 5: powerful economy in Europe. Now, ever since World War Two
- 24:54Speaker 5: ended in nineteen forty five, we have been carrying Germany,
- 24:58Speaker 5: all right, We've been paying for the defense, we've been
- 25:01Speaker 5: paying for the economy. We rebuilt their nation, and the
- 25:06Speaker 5: Germans have given us nothing nothing, So for them to
- 25:11Speaker 5: basically say about Iran this is not our war is
- 25:14Speaker 5: a slap in the face. Now, if you know anything
- 25:18Speaker 5: about human nature, you know that powerful people are loathed
- 25:23Speaker 5: generally by weak people. Yea, So that always happens. And
- 25:29Speaker 5: Trump is a strong man politician, he's a populist. They
- 25:34Speaker 5: don't understand that in Europe. Number one, they don't know
- 25:36Speaker 5: what a populist is and number two, they think he's
- 25:40Speaker 5: a bully because he goes over and says, I'm going
- 25:44Speaker 5: to be a Greenland. I'm gonna, you know, do this,
- 25:47Speaker 5: I'm gonna do that. You're a bunch of weaklings. And
- 25:50Speaker 5: the European press is worse than the American press. They
- 25:54Speaker 5: hate Trump worse than the Imperican press. So that's all
- 25:58Speaker 5: these people are hearing over there, and that's why his
- 26:03Speaker 5: image is so let's say, dubious in Europe right.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Now, Well, I guess he is a bully, but always
- 26:11Speaker 2: for a good cause, right, I mean, he's not doing
- 26:13Speaker 2: anything terrible, is he?
- 26:15Speaker 5: But see, our interests in Europe's interests are not the same.
- 26:18Speaker 5: And people have to understand that Europe is hyped up
- 26:22Speaker 5: about Ukraine because they know Putin's a direct threat to them.
- 26:27Speaker 4: So yeah, they're.
- 26:28Speaker 5: Cooperating in Ukraine, they're giving money to the Ukrainians. But
- 26:31Speaker 5: Iran they don't care. They don't care if Iran whites
- 26:36Speaker 5: out Israel. I know there's one European country that would
- 26:40Speaker 5: care if that happened. So that the United States point
- 26:44Speaker 5: of view is, no, you've got to protect the people
- 26:47Speaker 5: of Israel. But the Europeans is why we don't care
- 26:50Speaker 5: about them. And that's the best example I can give
- 26:54Speaker 5: you about diverging interests.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Yeah, hey, Bill O'Reilly, I love the new podcast. It's
- 26:59Speaker 2: called We'll Do It Live. There's two episodes out now
- 27:03Speaker 2: right Rob Schneider.
- 27:05Speaker 5: Uh, there's one episode on Schneider. We're going to drop
- 27:07Speaker 5: another one on Thursday. I'm working on a big Iranian thing.
- 27:12Speaker 5: I can't say what it is because I might not
- 27:14Speaker 5: get it. But if I get it, it's going to
- 27:18Speaker 5: be enormous because with a guy who knows everything about
- 27:22Speaker 5: what's going on over there, and so we're going to
- 27:27Speaker 5: do that here in Washington. We're set to do it,
- 27:30Speaker 5: but you know how these things are.
- 27:32Speaker 4: This is a.
- 27:33Speaker 5: Very very high profile interview. And then we have Steve Sharipa,
- 27:39Speaker 5: this Franos. We already taped him, so he'll be Yeah,
- 27:43Speaker 5: he'll be up in March. But I want to get
- 27:46Speaker 5: this Iran thing done because it'll be big if I
- 27:49Speaker 5: can get it done. And that'll it's gonna Bill O'Reilly
- 27:51Speaker 5: dot com that's where we live, and you'll see what
- 27:54Speaker 5: the podcast progression is. But right now I might even
- 27:58Speaker 5: drop this Wednesday night that's how how important it might be.
- 28:01Speaker 2: All Right, well just check out Bill O'Reilly's new podcast,
- 28:04Speaker 2: We'll do It Live. Just go to Bill O'Reilly dot com,
- 28:08Speaker 2: Bill O'Reilly dot com. Hey, they have the St Patrick's
- 28:11Speaker 2: Day parade here, and they have the big Saint Patrick's
- 28:13Speaker 2: Day breakfast at Gracie Mansion, all the Irish. But mom
- 28:18Speaker 2: Donnie gets up there and starts making a speech about
- 28:21Speaker 2: Palestine and genocide. What the hell is he thinking?
- 28:27Speaker 4: What is he thinking?
- 28:30Speaker 5: It's impossible for me to answer that question. I can
- 28:33Speaker 5: tell you that the socialist communist movement despises Israel and
- 28:39Speaker 5: he's part of that. So Ben Dom is part of that.
- 28:43Speaker 5: He's a communist. And in Ireland, if you go to Ireland,
- 28:47Speaker 5: the Communist and the Communist Party is big in Ireland.
- 28:50Speaker 5: It's got Sway, it's got Powell, particularly in Northern Ireland.
- 28:54Speaker 5: They hate Israel Boil Borya, and I'm not exactly sure why.
- 29:01Speaker 5: The history doesn't really demonstrate why that hatred is so palpable.
- 29:07Speaker 5: But that's why man DOMI did it, because he's in
- 29:10Speaker 5: that cabal, at communist socialist cabal, and they just hate Israel.
- 29:16Speaker 2: So for the Communist Cuba and government falls. The Democrats,
- 29:20Speaker 2: what side are they going to take? They're going to
- 29:21Speaker 2: make fools of themselves again, aren't they.
- 29:24Speaker 5: I don't think they'll say anything on that. I mean
- 29:26Speaker 5: maybe were pretty muted on Venezuela. A few nuts that
- 29:30Speaker 5: went out, but I don't think. But let me give
- 29:33Speaker 5: everybody listening to wor a tip. If you are thinking
- 29:37Speaker 5: about buying Florida real estate, moving out of New York
- 29:41Speaker 5: to Florida, wait until the communist regime in Cuba folds,
- 29:48Speaker 5: because there are going to be a lot of places
- 29:51Speaker 5: up for sale in Florida. Prices of real estate are
- 29:53Speaker 5: going to come down because a lot of Cubans, particularly
- 29:56Speaker 5: in Dade County, South Florida.
- 29:59Speaker 4: Going to move back. Wow, they're gonna go back.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Never thought about it.
- 30:03Speaker 4: You're gonna be a lot of places. So if you're.
- 30:06Speaker 5: Buying high now in Florida, those prices for housing gonna
- 30:12Speaker 5: come down, are gonna come down pretty big.
- 30:13Speaker 2: I never thought of that. You're right, that's a huge
- 30:16Speaker 2: enormous Cuban population there that's gonna go back.
- 30:19Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, they're gonna go back.
- 30:22Speaker 2: Wo.
- 30:22Speaker 4: And Cuba will be uh in five years.
- 30:26Speaker 5: The hottest spot is very manilow one saying north of Nevada.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Right, that's true. It was back in the fifties. It
- 30:34Speaker 2: will be again, you bet Wow. Well, Bill O'Reilly, great stuff.

- 31:46Speaker 2: seen wear a green tie before. A lot of green
- 31:49Speaker 2: plants put in the White House, green all over the
- 31:51Speaker 2: place there. Vice President Vance also wearing a green tie. Today.
- 31:56Speaker 2: The parade is on as we speak. It'll continue for
