- 0:06Speaker 1: Hello, my love, it is yours truly, La La Kent.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Welcome back to the Give Them La La Podcast. We
- 0:11Speaker 1: are fresh off of what would have been the finale
- 0:14Speaker 1: episode last week, but because we're all such a hot mess,
- 0:20Speaker 1: you get the finale tonight and I can't wait. I
- 0:24Speaker 1: actually am feeling a little nervous today because I mean
- 0:28Speaker 1: not to have Katie, Katie Hi, how are you boo?
- 0:30Speaker 2: Hi?
- 0:32Speaker 1: I have Terry Maloney and I shook to my core
- 0:39Speaker 1: because terror Bear. We watched last week's episode together. We
- 0:43Speaker 1: were together the night that we filmed the finale, what
- 0:47Speaker 1: would have been the finale, and Katie going in on
- 0:49Speaker 1: Raquel and I didn't realize that obviously. I know you're
- 0:54Speaker 1: a fucking star, but the internet went wild for you.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Oh so when you and I spoke about having you
- 1:01Speaker 1: on the podcast and then I saw that the internet
- 1:04Speaker 1: was like all about you, I started feeling nervous. I
- 1:06Speaker 1: was like, oh my.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Gosh, gosh, that's so funny.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:10Speaker 3: I haven't had a chance to read all the comments
- 1:13Speaker 3: or anything yet.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Oh you're getting a lot of love.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Well, I can I do a shout out? Yes, I
- 1:19Speaker 3: just I have to shout out my my Betty Danny PEELGRENO,
- 1:22Speaker 3: thank you so much for your sweet text message and
- 1:25Speaker 3: showing me love. And Ryan Bailey also for always just
- 1:28Speaker 3: the support.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Two great human beings. Yes, good, I love that. Well,
- 1:33Speaker 1: You've got a lot of support.
- 1:34Speaker 3: With so many appreciation post which I daily did. It
- 1:39Speaker 3: was so cute. Yeah, I was like, oh my gosh,
- 1:41Speaker 3: that's my real estate photo.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Terry Maloney. She's a real estate agent by day and
- 1:48Speaker 1: just savage mother by night. I love it so very
- 1:52Speaker 1: quickly we won an MTV Movie Award.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Yeah, Best on Screen Team, which.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I don't really know because it's so funny. In the
- 2:05Speaker 1: photo that they chose to promote us to get people
- 2:09Speaker 1: to vote, we were all fighting in all of those photos.
- 2:13Speaker 2: And I'm like, well, I guess depending on how you
- 2:16Speaker 2: look at it, we we make a good team, whether
- 2:19Speaker 2: we're fighting or we're getting along. So I think that's
- 2:21Speaker 2: what's good to watch.
- 2:22Speaker 1: I think that's what it's about, is that even in
- 2:25Speaker 1: our in the chaos and the fighting, we always rally
- 2:28Speaker 1: around each other when that time comes right.
- 2:31Speaker 2: So I think it was it was deserving.
- 2:33Speaker 3: It was.
- 2:34Speaker 2: I mean, I wish because that, you know, it is
- 2:37Speaker 2: such a sort of I think it's big deal. So
- 2:39Speaker 2: it's not I know, it's not like an oscar, but
- 2:41Speaker 2: in the world for us, in our world, it is
- 2:44Speaker 2: you know, to be able to have like been on
- 2:46Speaker 2: stage to accept but you know, support support the writers.
- 2:50Speaker 1: And support the writers.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Equal wages and fair wages and everything all of the above.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Do we each get a popcorn? Because I'd like to
- 2:58Speaker 1: put one in the office? Okay? Good?
- 3:00Speaker 2: Yeah, because I mean we're by name.
- 3:02Speaker 1: Well I don't know. I'm like, do we just get one?
- 3:05Speaker 1: And we have to know we.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Were each nominated, but as a group, you know what
- 3:09Speaker 2: I mean? Okay, yeah, so yeah, that's my understanding.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Well, can it go in my office? Please?
- 3:15Speaker 2: It's I think we're all getting.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Okay, good, Otherwise we're drawing numbers out of a hat.
- 3:21Speaker 2: No, I think, yeah, no, it's not going to be
- 3:23Speaker 2: one award for all of our names on it.
- 3:26Speaker 1: That's all I was wondering.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Well, and esmamas are all proud of you guys, so
- 3:30Speaker 3: I mean, very very proud. I just wish, yeah, I wish,
- 3:33Speaker 3: yeah could have been there in person to really experience
- 3:37Speaker 3: the whole event. But it's still it's still a neat Let's.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Put it out there for next year. Yeah, we'll be
- 3:43Speaker 1: asked to come back to present that the writers get
- 3:47Speaker 1: exactly what they want and deserve, right, and that we're
- 3:50Speaker 1: nominated again.
- 3:51Speaker 3: I can.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Let's jump into last week's episode. Okay, so we saw
- 3:59Speaker 1: I can't get this out of my head. So Dana
- 4:01Speaker 1: kept referring we watched the finale what would have been
- 4:04Speaker 1: the finale episode with Dana and yeah, and they kept
- 4:10Speaker 1: referring to Raquel as a barnacle, which gave me all
- 4:13Speaker 1: the life. So that's what I will be referring to
- 4:15Speaker 1: her today. So Raquel is not Raquel or Rachel, She's
- 4:18Speaker 1: Barnacle today. So we watched the Barnacle purchase the Lightning Necklace.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I know, Andy, when I was on watch, I was life.
- 4:25Speaker 2: He's like, I cannot believe that there's footage of this.
- 4:28Speaker 2: I mean it was it was all in plain sight.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Everything like that was happening in the shadows was also
- 4:33Speaker 2: like just in front of everyone's face.
- 4:36Speaker 1: But that people think it was the starting to think
- 4:39Speaker 1: that it was stage because of how much there was
- 4:41Speaker 1: Oh please, no, I.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Know anytime anyone tries to stage or self produce something,
- 4:47Speaker 2: it never works. It always backfires.
- 4:50Speaker 1: It always backfires.
- 4:51Speaker 2: And if production had cotton wind and like knew for
- 4:57Speaker 2: certain that this was actually going down, they would have
- 5:01Speaker 2: like they would have uncoverted, they would have they would
- 5:03Speaker 2: have beaten people to a pulp to admit to it.
- 5:06Speaker 2: That's like, that's just how it goes.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Like they don't.
- 5:07Speaker 2: They don't like let things. They would have kept cameras
- 5:10Speaker 2: rolling into Christmas time if if that's what it took.
- 5:14Speaker 2: But no, they like they you know, I think they
- 5:16Speaker 2: kind of were like, well, yeah, it does seem off,
- 5:18Speaker 2: but if this is really how you know, the dynamic
- 5:22Speaker 2: is between this group and Ariana's fine with it and
- 5:24Speaker 2: she doesn't seem to think that there's anything fishy going on,
- 5:26Speaker 2: then we're not going to press.
- 5:28Speaker 1: It, right, And I think we all know firsthand filming,
- 5:33Speaker 1: like when I hooked up with Ariana, they were beating
- 5:38Speaker 1: that horse until someone admitted that that happened, you know,
- 5:41Speaker 1: like no one let up on it. Yeah, but not
- 5:44Speaker 1: once did a producer step in because you know, yes,
- 5:47Speaker 1: it's reality TV, but news flash, y'all, it's a produced show,
- 5:51Speaker 1: all right, Okay, to break that to you, they would
- 5:55Speaker 1: have pressed all of us. We all would have gotten
- 5:57Speaker 1: pulled aside and that's what I think.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Well, I think also because people are saying, well, Sina's
- 6:03Speaker 2: dress designers said that they saw Tom and the barnacle
- 6:08Speaker 2: standing on the barnacle making out, and producers were right there.
- 6:11Speaker 2: It's like, I don't think that they were saying that
- 6:12Speaker 2: they were right there. I think they were just saying
- 6:14Speaker 2: like they were nearby. So the fact that they were
- 6:16Speaker 2: being so cavalier about it when there was production, if
- 6:20Speaker 2: production would have seen that, oh my god, they would
- 6:23Speaker 2: have pulled out they would have pulled out a cell phone,
- 6:24Speaker 2: they would have captured it. Like they wouldn't have just
- 6:26Speaker 2: like like turn a cheek and been like, we're not
- 6:29Speaker 2: going to say anything. No, this would have if if
- 6:31Speaker 2: anyone had known or had evidence or had seen something
- 6:35Speaker 2: with their own eyes or had like proof, it would
- 6:38Speaker 2: have been uncovered in the one season. And so like
- 6:42Speaker 2: everyone's like, why is everyone acting so shocked and why
- 6:44Speaker 2: why is everyone so surprised if everyone knew, Because we
- 6:47Speaker 2: didn't know. We had a hunch, there was the intuition,
- 6:51Speaker 2: we had feelings, but we didn't have proof. We didn't
- 6:53Speaker 2: have evidence, so like we couldn't really say that like
- 6:55Speaker 2: this was for sure happening.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I like to compare it to like going to court.
- 7:00Speaker 1: You walk into court and you're like, my gut is
- 7:01Speaker 1: just telling me that this person did that. It's like, uh,
- 7:04Speaker 1: the jury size innocent. We had nothing.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I remember telling you, just being like I like,
- 7:11Speaker 2: until there's evidence or physical proof or something like, there's nothing.
- 7:15Speaker 2: It's just it's just really fishy that she's flying to
- 7:19Speaker 2: Roseville or Sonoma or whatever it was to go to
- 7:21Speaker 2: a show, not telling her friends, not posting that she's there, Like,
- 7:24Speaker 2: that's fishy, Like that should have been evidence, but there
- 7:27Speaker 2: wasn't evidence. There wasn't anything too. Yeah.
- 7:29Speaker 3: I caught that before. And one time I was talking
- 7:32Speaker 3: to Katie and I said, you know, I read something
- 7:34Speaker 3: on Instagram or saw a post or something, and me
- 7:38Speaker 3: as an outsider, I mean, yeah, I'm insider. I get
- 7:40Speaker 3: inside scoop up. Before any of this was brought to Lie,
- 7:43Speaker 3: I even thought, well, this is kind of weird that
- 7:46Speaker 3: she would fly there, not only that, not post anything. Yeah,
- 7:50Speaker 3: she was obviously there, but again it was a well
- 7:52Speaker 3: kept secret.
- 7:53Speaker 2: As much as that tells us that something was going on,
- 7:55Speaker 2: there still wasn't proof, and it wasn't you could go
- 7:58Speaker 2: and tell that Toriyana and she'd like, so she has
- 8:01Speaker 2: friends in Sonoma, you know.
- 8:02Speaker 1: Yes. However, when I when I told Sena about that
- 8:07Speaker 1: Sonoma trip and she said she went to see her
- 8:10Speaker 1: friends and I said, no, she was spotted at that show.
- 8:14Speaker 1: She did not post when she always does. That was
- 8:17Speaker 1: the very first time, and I've I've said this before,
- 8:19Speaker 1: that was the first time ever that Sheena's mind started
- 8:22Speaker 1: going like that is weird the first time.
- 8:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:26Speaker 1: So that was huge. Yeah, and that show.
- 8:28Speaker 3: What month was that? Was that? November?
- 8:32Speaker 1: I want to say it was maybe like December, December
- 8:35Speaker 1: and January.
- 8:36Speaker 2: It might I think it was November, was it? I
- 8:39Speaker 2: think that tracks? Yeah, I feel like it was November.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Okay, you have you have a better Well maybe.
- 8:44Speaker 3: I kind of had a clothe in because I remember
- 8:46Speaker 3: you telling me about Bravo Khan when when Raquel was
- 8:50Speaker 3: wearing what are we calling her rachel or whatever you want?
- 8:54Speaker 1: Whatever you want?
- 8:55Speaker 3: When when Tommy made that comment to you when you
- 9:00Speaker 3: she was wearing the sweatshirt.
- 9:01Speaker 2: And following, yeah, following on them around like a little puppy
- 9:04Speaker 2: dog and going to their panel like I wasn't going
- 9:06Speaker 2: to anyone else's panel, Like the way Yeah, just the
- 9:10Speaker 2: way she was being such a like groupie fangirl of them,
- 9:13Speaker 2: and I was, you know, I was, I was like
- 9:16Speaker 2: being a little patronizing towards him, and and I could
- 9:20Speaker 2: just see him just get frustrated. Yeah, that's when he said, well,
- 9:23Speaker 2: you know, he said, she she wasn't there for me.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Trust believe me, she wasn't there for me. So that
- 9:29Speaker 3: was that was, And that was in October, right, Yeah,
- 9:33Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 9:33Speaker 2: And on tonight's episode, I do call Tom aud On
- 9:37Speaker 2: that you do, Yeah, and you'll see what he says.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Tonight's episode is going to be like gut wrenching, yeah,
- 9:44Speaker 1: because so many people. Do you feel like you were
- 9:46Speaker 1: directly affected?
- 9:48Speaker 2: Yeah? What do you mean, of course.
- 9:50Speaker 1: By sand of All and Raquel, because I don't feel
- 9:52Speaker 1: like I was directly affected. I feel like I was
- 9:54Speaker 1: directly affected in the sense that sand of All kept
- 9:58Speaker 1: coming for me and saying all these things to me,
- 10:00Speaker 1: and Raquel kept calling me a mistress. So for me,
- 10:03Speaker 1: I was like pissed off, but obviously like, well you
- 10:07Speaker 1: had you had the schwartzy with.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Her, but also like not giving me any kind of
- 10:11Speaker 2: grace or empathy during a like my divorce and that
- 10:15Speaker 2: transition and right, you're difficult and just and saying like,
- 10:18Speaker 2: you know, fuck her, she left you, man, she left you,
- 10:21Speaker 2: like in propping shorts up and making me feel crazy
- 10:25Speaker 2: and like I was being out of line and you know,
- 10:27Speaker 2: doing things to be hurtful right while they were being
- 10:31Speaker 2: disngross people behind everyone's back. Like, of course, I feel
- 10:36Speaker 2: like I was directly affected by that.
- 10:38Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, I sat with her many a night. Well,
- 10:41Speaker 3: she was going through it, you know, and it was
- 10:45Speaker 3: going so well, it was going so well, and they
- 10:47Speaker 3: were still in the house. I was with them, we
- 10:49Speaker 3: were packing up the house, and they were doing really
- 10:51Speaker 3: really good, you know, and it was very important to
- 10:53Speaker 3: them to keep it amicable. And it's like it just
- 10:56Speaker 3: meant the world to me too, because you know, Tommy
- 10:58Speaker 3: was part of our family, right, he was like my son,
- 11:02Speaker 3: very very well, it was my son in law, but
- 11:04Speaker 3: I mean we had a bond, and he had a
- 11:07Speaker 3: bond with the entire family, you know, the Katie's brothers,
- 11:11Speaker 3: and so it was very important. And you know Katie
- 11:15Speaker 3: comes from when Katie's dad and I divorced. You know,
- 11:18Speaker 3: we kept it very amicable. We kept it so that
- 11:21Speaker 3: we can still get together as a family. So Katie's
- 11:23Speaker 3: it's not abnormal. You know, some people think it's so
- 11:25Speaker 3: weird to you want to be friends with your acts,
- 11:27Speaker 3: But what's so weird about it? But anyway, the pain
- 11:31Speaker 3: that it caused her just from the interference that was
- 11:34Speaker 3: going on. And now, as it turns out, it wasn't
- 11:36Speaker 3: because there was really an emotional anything going on with
- 11:39Speaker 3: Tommy and Raquel.
- 11:40Speaker 2: It was well, there wasn't even then. It wasn't even that.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Back then, I said, how many times I say to
- 11:44Speaker 2: like you were to Christina, I'm like, if they like
- 11:46Speaker 2: were had genuine feelings and it was just like some
- 11:50Speaker 2: Romeo and Juliet shit like Starcross lovers, I would be like, right,
- 11:54Speaker 2: I'm just gonna have to do Yeah, I'm gonna have
- 11:55Speaker 2: to accept this. But it wasn't. It was never that.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Well I think what's now looking back and knowing what
- 12:01Speaker 1: we know now, not only was it like they didn't
- 12:05Speaker 1: have feelings, it was like just for fun, like they
- 12:07Speaker 1: treated your feelings like, get over it, it's just fun.
- 12:09Speaker 1: They would away, we're single week And now we realized
- 12:12Speaker 1: that it was to throw off the scent. So you
- 12:16Speaker 1: were also a sacrificial lamb. We don't care how we're
- 12:18Speaker 1: hurting you, because we need to get the scent off
- 12:21Speaker 1: of you know, the two of us, and Tommy's gonna
- 12:25Speaker 1: be the one who helps us do that.
- 12:27Speaker 3: Yeah, And the same time knowing the pain that it's
- 12:31Speaker 3: causing cares.
- 12:32Speaker 2: And for tom to sit in that scene with Standball
- 12:34Speaker 2: when he walks in with coffee all over his shirt
- 12:36Speaker 2: like a slob, Now what is that?
- 12:38Speaker 1: A slab?
- 12:39Speaker 2: Magob?
- 12:40Speaker 1: Like? Just yeah?
- 12:41Speaker 2: He And and to say like, you know, if I
- 12:43Speaker 2: had known like the you know, the fallout from this
- 12:46Speaker 2: and how you know he was gonna affect Katie, I
- 12:48Speaker 2: wouldn't have done it. I'm like, are you out of
- 12:50Speaker 2: your mind?
- 12:51Speaker 3: What do you mean?
- 12:52Speaker 2: If you had known? I had how many conversations with you,
- 12:55Speaker 2: with Raquel, with everyone. You knew exactly what the consequences were.
- 12:58Speaker 2: You knew exactly. How could you not know that this
- 13:01Speaker 2: was going to be the outcome?
- 13:05Speaker 1: You've got to in some way feel a little bit vindicated. Well,
- 13:10Speaker 1: of course, because you have people online. My my feed
- 13:15Speaker 1: is filled to the brim with people talking about how
- 13:20Speaker 1: they owe you one hundred and one apologies. Not just
- 13:23Speaker 1: the group, but like online little trolls. Yeah, so that's
- 13:27Speaker 1: got to feel pretty fucking good.
- 13:28Speaker 2: No, I mean it does. I think. I think just
- 13:32Speaker 2: there's just been an entirely different lens of light put
- 13:35Speaker 2: on me and my entire situation with Tom and the
- 13:39Speaker 2: like our history, all of it. So it's it's.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Nice and and I've heard you say this as well,
- 13:45Speaker 3: La La. I can see it in Katie's face. I
- 13:48Speaker 3: can see just especially like well that photo like I
- 13:52Speaker 3: was telling of you and Joey last night watch What
- 13:54Speaker 3: Happens Live, just the glow and the piece. Yeah, I
- 13:59Speaker 3: mean it's so and and the photos that you posted
- 14:02Speaker 3: on your trip recently, I mean I can just see
- 14:04Speaker 3: it change, right, you know that, like the whole world's
- 14:07Speaker 3: been lifted off the weight of the world's been lifted
- 14:10Speaker 3: off his shoulders. It's so apparent, and it just makes
- 14:12Speaker 3: me feel so.
- 14:14Speaker 1: So good as a mom.
- 14:15Speaker 3: I it was a rough summer right last year. It
- 14:19Speaker 3: was rough. You know, they were moving out of their house.
- 14:23Speaker 3: And that's the thing that just as a parent, and
- 14:26Speaker 3: that's why you saw me break down and cry a
- 14:27Speaker 3: couple of times, because it was rough going through it.
- 14:31Speaker 3: You know, they were giving up their home. It's hard
- 14:34Speaker 3: enough when you still love each other. They obviously both
- 14:37Speaker 3: had nothing. They loved each other, you know, and sometimes
- 14:40Speaker 3: when you make the decision to divorce, it's because you
- 14:44Speaker 3: just can't live together, and it doesn't mean you don't
- 14:46Speaker 3: love each other. So that right there was really really hard.
- 14:49Speaker 3: And like I said, us three spent time in the
- 14:51Speaker 3: home packing it together, just trying to keep things in
- 14:55Speaker 3: a happy light, you know, just nothing was strained at
- 14:58Speaker 3: the time and everything, but just knowing how hurt, how
- 15:02Speaker 3: much Katie was hurting because she didn't want to give
- 15:05Speaker 3: up that home and it hurt me. And you can't
- 15:09Speaker 3: you remember like how excited she was when they got
- 15:12Speaker 3: it and she says, Mom, it's in the best school district.
- 15:16Speaker 3: We're going to raise a family.
- 15:17Speaker 1: You and I want to jump into this since we're
- 15:21Speaker 1: heading in that direction, let's dive into that entire scene.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Raquel comes and sits down because in that scene speaking,
- 15:28Speaker 1: you know, talking about school districts and things like that,
- 15:31Speaker 1: you were you were creating a life with this person.
- 15:34Speaker 1: So when you repeatedly say to Raquel, that was my husband, husband,
- 15:40Speaker 1: I don't want people to think that like you were
- 15:42Speaker 1: still holding onto the relationship because you weren't out moving
- 15:46Speaker 1: on with.
- 15:46Speaker 2: I was trying to drill it into her head the
- 15:50Speaker 2: depth of our relationship, right, and that she just didn't
- 15:54Speaker 2: she couldn't grasp the life that we had and that
- 15:58Speaker 2: we were planning for and what that meant for me
- 16:00Speaker 2: to give up.
- 16:01Speaker 3: That's what I mean.
- 16:02Speaker 2: She was lacking so much empathy. She could not, for
- 16:04Speaker 2: the life of her understand what I was going through
- 16:08Speaker 2: and what, you know, the gravity of it all, you know.
- 16:11Speaker 2: So that's what I'm saying. So I was like, that's
- 16:12Speaker 2: my husband. My head, like you don't you don't understand,
- 16:14Speaker 2: like you've only had Yeah, you're with James for like
- 16:17Speaker 2: I guess the length of time, but like you didn't
- 16:19Speaker 2: even live here, like you've only had these like little
- 16:22Speaker 2: sort of relationships, like little high school kind of things.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Like you don't you can't even grass, you can't even
- 16:28Speaker 2: wrap your head around.
- 16:30Speaker 3: Well, it goes back to the first night we had
- 16:32Speaker 3: dinner at vander Punk Paris, yea, and what she sat
- 16:36Speaker 3: next to me and was talking so openly about how
- 16:41Speaker 3: much you know, oh yeah, I would love to make
- 16:43Speaker 3: out with Tommy.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Remember, very strange.
- 16:45Speaker 3: Remember I looked at you and I went I can't believe.
- 16:48Speaker 1: She and I and I appreciate honesty, but the way
- 16:53Speaker 1: she was talking about it, it felt sick.
- 16:56Speaker 2: It felt it was the same thing when the first
- 16:58Speaker 2: time that we met up with her, and I was like, yeah,
- 17:00Speaker 2: like she is like trying to push like Schwartz on,
- 17:03Speaker 2: We're callin. Is she doing that to you too, We're callin.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Cal's like yeah a little bit, and she goes, I mean,
- 17:07Speaker 2: I wouldn't date them, but like I mean, I like.
- 17:08Speaker 1: I do like Schwartz a lot.
- 17:11Speaker 2: It was and I would like make out with him.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Like I was like, I just sat there like staring
- 17:15Speaker 2: at her, and I was like, I can't believe did I.
- 17:17Speaker 3: Just it's something that maybe I mean, it didn't even
- 17:22Speaker 3: seems weird for her to sit and say in front,
- 17:23Speaker 3: but you know, the mom's sitting there.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Well, the mom where you and I don't think even
- 17:31Speaker 1: I can grasp what I can in the sense that
- 17:36Speaker 1: I have a child, but like even the way that
- 17:39Speaker 1: my mom feels about Ocean, Like when I ask her
- 17:43Speaker 1: to explain it because I'm into things like that, I'm like,
- 17:45Speaker 1: what does it feel like to be a grandmother? And
- 17:47Speaker 1: she cannot even put words together. She just starts sobbing
- 17:52Speaker 1: Terry You they get married, they've been together a long time.
- 17:56Speaker 1: He's like your son. You're thinking, like, this is a
- 17:59Speaker 1: whole that we're going to fill with grand babies, and
- 18:02Speaker 1: you're envisioning a future. So when you start talking to Raquel,
- 18:06Speaker 1: trying to get her to wrap her mind around it,
- 18:09Speaker 1: and she's not getting it. In fact, she rolls her
- 18:12Speaker 1: eyes at you and says, oh god, well.
- 18:14Speaker 3: That was yeah and that. But I'm still thinking back
- 18:18Speaker 3: to vander prep Paris because that nice.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Well she didn't grasp of it.
- 18:21Speaker 3: That she didn't grasp but then and I tried to explain,
- 18:24Speaker 3: and it was so fresh. They had just moved out
- 18:26Speaker 3: of their home the month before, right, so they were
- 18:28Speaker 3: both they were dealing with so many emotions, and you know,
- 18:32Speaker 3: as a parent, it just hurts when your kids hurt.
- 18:35Speaker 3: You hurt doubly that.
- 18:37Speaker 2: But this means yeah. But I think that's also why
- 18:39Speaker 2: people kept calling me a hypocrite, because they're like, well,
- 18:41Speaker 2: you can't feel this way, but then go out and
- 18:44Speaker 2: like hook up with people or do that. I'm like, yeah,
- 18:46Speaker 2: I know two things can be true and happening at
- 18:49Speaker 2: the same time. Like it's not they're not mutually exclusive here.
- 18:51Speaker 2: We were just trying to get Raquel to understand that
- 18:55Speaker 2: her being so flippant and cavalier about what she wanted
- 19:00Speaker 2: desired was inappropriate. And it's like, just because I'm doing
- 19:04Speaker 2: what I'm doing over here away from everybody, doesn't mean
- 19:08Speaker 2: that what you guys are doing would still be potentially hurtful.
- 19:11Speaker 2: And that can be true. Like, it's not me being
- 19:14Speaker 2: a hypocrite and or me being selfish. It's the truth.
- 19:17Speaker 1: It's absolutely the truth. And no one was willing to
- 19:19Speaker 1: put themselves in your position because I can bet my
- 19:24Speaker 1: ass on if I started hooking up with James or
- 19:27Speaker 1: you started hooking up with James, oh my, there would
- 19:29Speaker 1: be hell to pay.
- 19:30Speaker 2: If if Ali hadn't come along, wasn't James in some
- 19:34Speaker 2: weird universe, James and I, this wouldn't happen. But like,
- 19:38Speaker 2: if that were to happen, everyone would have lost their shit,
- 19:42Speaker 2: Like we would have been crucified, no doubt in my mind.
- 19:45Speaker 2: So like for everyone to act like, oh yeah, Schwartz
- 19:48Speaker 2: and Maquel like obviously, like they're just two like you know,
- 19:53Speaker 2: good looking single people, like just trying to justify it
- 19:56Speaker 2: in their minds I'm like, are you out of your mind?
- 19:58Speaker 4: Like did she not not understand or not care? Because
- 20:03Speaker 4: you guys keep saying like we really tried to get
- 20:04Speaker 4: her to understand. But the more I watch her, I'm like,
- 20:08Speaker 4: I don't know if I feel like she understand.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Don't you don't think she grasped.
- 20:12Speaker 2: I don't I think she didn't care to try to understand.
- 20:16Speaker 1: God agreed, Yeah, yes, I agree with that. But we're
- 20:21Speaker 1: talking about a girl who I couldn't even grieve the
- 20:25Speaker 1: loss of my dad and her have any sort you know,
- 20:30Speaker 1: like my parent is gone. When you can't even have
- 20:35Speaker 1: empathy or sympathy for someone whose parents just died and
- 20:38Speaker 1: give her a little bit of grace, you're certainly not
- 20:41Speaker 1: gonna care if you're kissing someone who's in the middle
- 20:45Speaker 1: of a divorce. You know, that was like whatever. She
- 20:48Speaker 1: also could have thought like it's all good because this
- 20:51Speaker 1: compared to what I'm doing.
- 20:53Speaker 2: I'm saying, you're gonna child, so you're gonna be gross
- 20:57Speaker 2: out in the open and even gross behind, Like, oh god,
- 21:02Speaker 2: I don't know how she's got any sleep, to be honest,
- 21:04Speaker 2: but I mean, she's not human, she said, bother her.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Do you think she would have done this, and Schwartz
- 21:10Speaker 4: would have done this if there were no cameras, if
- 21:12Speaker 4: you guys were just a friend group.
- 21:14Speaker 2: I don't think so. No. I think she said at
- 21:16Speaker 2: one point it would be good TV and that's it.
- 21:20Speaker 2: And that angered me even more because I'm just like,
- 21:23Speaker 2: oh now, it's like you just are really being just
- 21:26Speaker 2: careless with my feelings.
- 21:27Speaker 1: That can I tell you? It was when you got up.
- 21:30Speaker 1: We were sitting I think we went to some club.
- 21:33Speaker 1: This scene didn't make it in the final season, but
- 21:37Speaker 1: you got up and it was me, Arianna, Sheena and
- 21:41Speaker 1: the Barnacle and she said, but it would make great
- 21:45Speaker 1: TV and not for the like the three of us.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Arianna Sheen and myself looked at each other like, oh no,
- 21:52Speaker 1: Like this girl really thinks that we're on a different show.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Like we we look out for each other. Still, we're
- 21:59Speaker 1: filming a show and we want it to be great.
- 22:02Speaker 1: But we're like a real life friend group. We don't
- 22:05Speaker 1: do things for the camera, right. We always have the
- 22:09Speaker 1: best intentions at heart.
- 22:11Speaker 3: People ask me that all the time, you know, how
- 22:13Speaker 3: much is this for real? And I said, it's all
- 22:16Speaker 3: for real.
- 22:16Speaker 1: But I think that's what makes vander Pump rules great. Absolutely,
- 22:19Speaker 1: is that you see us all together. I spoke to
- 22:22Speaker 1: someone yesterday and she was like, but who are like
- 22:26Speaker 1: your best friends outside of the show, And I'm like,
- 22:28Speaker 1: I don't know how to break this down for you.
- 22:30Speaker 1: I don't really have any like these are my friends. Yeah,
- 22:34Speaker 1: cameras are up or down. I'm hanging out with them, right,
- 22:38Speaker 1: It's not like that with every other show.
- 22:40Speaker 3: Yeah, no, you know, it's real. It's real. No, And
- 22:43Speaker 3: going back to your question, as a matter of fact,
- 22:47Speaker 3: when that whole big kiss went down as pathetic as
- 22:51Speaker 3: it was now visually looking at it, we didn't know then.
- 22:54Speaker 3: And when I say weak, because like I said, I
- 22:57Speaker 3: spent a lot of time with Katie and you know,
- 22:59Speaker 3: and it was major. Katie text me in the middle
- 23:02Speaker 3: of the night. I was the middle of the night
- 23:03Speaker 3: for me from Mexico, like just repeatedly. I mean, she
- 23:06Speaker 3: was so upset, so upset. I have never ever and
- 23:10Speaker 3: I think, Lala you probably know this, I have never
- 23:12Speaker 3: ever interfered in their relationship. As much time as I
- 23:17Speaker 3: spend with them together, I did spend with them together.
- 23:20Speaker 3: I never ever called Tommy out on anything or you know,
- 23:24Speaker 3: of course, I see all these episodes and things not happy,
- 23:28Speaker 3: but you know they're working it out. This is their life,
- 23:30Speaker 3: this is and it's never been a problem. I've never
- 23:34Speaker 3: ever ever stepped in. But I was so upset because
- 23:37Speaker 3: I was up most of the night, you know, texting
- 23:39Speaker 3: back and forth, and then as a mom, I can't
- 23:41Speaker 3: go back to sleep. And I told Katie, I said,
- 23:44Speaker 3: I really really really want to say something to Tommy. Now.
- 23:48Speaker 3: She says, you can. So I sent him what sum
- 23:51Speaker 3: might perceive as a rage text.
- 23:53Speaker 1: No, it was I it was. I read it. You
- 23:56Speaker 1: sent it to Katie.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Yeah, she was there when I was texting.
- 23:59Speaker 3: Yeah, And actually I gave permission to if they wanted
- 24:02Speaker 3: to show it. And basically I called him out and
- 24:05Speaker 3: I said, you know why And he said pure pressure.
- 24:09Speaker 3: And I told him, I said, you know what, because
- 24:11Speaker 3: he knew all along. He knew, and he knew and
- 24:13Speaker 3: he knew, and it's like, that's not an excuse for
- 24:15Speaker 3: a forty year old man. No, absolutely, you know, it
- 24:18Speaker 3: is not an excuse whatsoever. But you know, the damage
- 24:23Speaker 3: had been done and the pain, you know. And I
- 24:24Speaker 3: told him, I said, you know, I never ever interfered.
- 24:28Speaker 3: And this is one thing that they didn't show last night.
- 24:30Speaker 3: In our conversation Tommy and I for the tasting, okay,
- 24:35Speaker 3: was that I said, I never ever interfere in your relationship.
- 24:39Speaker 3: But when it comes to this, to actually knowing what
- 24:43Speaker 3: you're doing intentionally, it's one thing to hurt somebody. We've
- 24:46Speaker 3: all said and done things in our relationships that you know,
- 24:49Speaker 3: I'm not proud of either, but you know, just out
- 24:50Speaker 3: of your little squabbling, But to intentionally hurt her and
- 24:55Speaker 3: cause her so much pain. I said, this is where
- 24:56Speaker 3: I step in, and this is where I came. There,
- 24:59Speaker 3: my mama, there steps in and I choose my daughter
- 25:01Speaker 3: over you. I've never wanted to take sides in your
- 25:03Speaker 3: relationship and I never have.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Oh Tho, there's me chills, Terry. Wow, I can only
- 25:09Speaker 1: imagine that when Ocean gets older, if someone did that
- 25:12Speaker 1: to her. Yeah, you're getting an actual rage text because
- 25:16Speaker 1: I thought that Actually, your text was very well spoken,
- 25:20Speaker 1: it was eloquent, it was I loved it. I mean
- 25:24Speaker 1: I remember that night. I for the first time in
- 25:27Speaker 1: a very long time, I felt disgusted and my heart broke. Sorry,
- 25:36Speaker 1: You're gonna.
- 25:36Speaker 3: Make me cry.
- 25:41Speaker 1: I was so angry. Yeah, and I said it to
- 25:45Speaker 1: she and I was like, I'm not going to your
- 25:47Speaker 1: rehearsal dinner. I like the fact that you all have
- 25:51Speaker 1: had a hand No one's hands are clean in this
- 25:54Speaker 1: Yes it's Tommy, and I never call him Tommy. It
- 25:59Speaker 1: is Tommy's fault and Raquel's fault. But at the end
- 26:02Speaker 1: of the day, everyone in this group has dirty hands,
- 26:06Speaker 1: and I won't be a part of it.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Like, not one person stepped in and said, maybe don't
- 26:11Speaker 2: maybe this isn't right. Maybe just like no one, not
- 26:16Speaker 2: one of them. Everyone was like, yeah, I mean you're single,
- 26:19Speaker 2: you're free to do it. And these are people that
- 26:22Speaker 2: were in our wedding right, that were part of our
- 26:26Speaker 2: lives from pretty much the inception of our relationship. So
- 26:31Speaker 2: again it's like, I you understand if like you don't
- 26:33Speaker 2: like me and you feel closer to tom but it's
- 26:34Speaker 2: like for them to have been on this ride with
- 26:37Speaker 2: us and had the conversations you know, over the years
- 26:41Speaker 2: and seeing certain things and asked me, like you don't
- 26:44Speaker 2: deserve this, Katie, Like what he's not being fair to
- 26:47Speaker 2: you or you know, just have been there through ups
- 26:49Speaker 2: and downs, un to like at the end of it
- 26:52Speaker 2: all have them behave this way, and that's.
- 26:55Speaker 3: What totally blew my mind. I could not comprehend how
- 27:01Speaker 3: they could be so heartless. I mean, this is a
- 27:05Speaker 3: real life, This is real stuff that's happening, real emotional,
- 27:10Speaker 3: hard stuff. It's hard enough to go through what you're
- 27:12Speaker 3: you know, a divorce and selling your home and all
- 27:15Speaker 3: that other stuff that goes along with it, but then
- 27:17Speaker 3: to cause so much pain and I mean, just I
- 27:23Speaker 3: just I couldn't comprehend it. And it's like, why are
- 27:25Speaker 3: they doing this? Why? You know, I do appreciate your
- 27:28Speaker 3: love and your support because that mant a lot. Because
- 27:32Speaker 3: Katie said, I feel like I have no one in
- 27:33Speaker 3: my corner. I feel like I'm alone in this.
- 27:36Speaker 1: You know, well, kat Katie and I had many conversations,
- 27:39Speaker 1: and I remember you saying, Katie, like, I need someone
- 27:42Speaker 1: who's completely loyal. And did you feel like when you
- 27:46Speaker 1: watched the season, because there were a lot of conversations
- 27:49Speaker 1: I had that you weren't a part of. And I
- 27:52Speaker 1: did try to explain to you like I'm here, I
- 27:55Speaker 1: know that i'm going and there's dinners that I'm having,
- 27:58Speaker 1: but I'm like one hundred percent on your team in
- 28:03Speaker 1: the sense.
- 28:04Speaker 2: I knew you. I knew you were. I wasn't. That
- 28:06Speaker 2: wasn't me speaking about like you necessarily, but it was
- 28:11Speaker 2: like going from being accepted by like everyone and feeling
- 28:15Speaker 2: like I'm part of this group, whether I'm getting along
- 28:18Speaker 2: stay with everybody, to feeling like I don't have a
- 28:20Speaker 2: place here. It wasn't necessarily saying like I don't have
- 28:23Speaker 2: anyone in my corner, but like it was just it
- 28:25Speaker 2: was like I was. It was very isolating.
- 28:27Speaker 1: I get it because I felt like had had they
- 28:31Speaker 1: not brought Christina on, I mean, it just would have
- 28:34Speaker 1: made you with me.
- 28:35Speaker 2: I know, and if you weren't there, couldn't be there.
- 28:37Speaker 2: It was like, oh my god.
- 28:39Speaker 3: And it brought tears to my eye when I saw
- 28:41Speaker 3: a play out when it aired. I can't remember what episode,
- 28:45Speaker 3: the night that it happened and everything, and you told
- 28:48Speaker 3: she and she says, what just happened to Katie happened
- 28:52Speaker 3: to me, and I feel her pain and I'm going
- 28:54Speaker 3: to be with her tonight. She's my girl. I really
- 28:57Speaker 3: brought tears to my eyes. I was watching that, yeah,
- 29:00Speaker 3: because you know, I just I know what she was
- 29:02Speaker 3: going through, and you knew what she was going through,
- 29:04Speaker 3: you know, and you had empathy and just real caring
- 29:07Speaker 3: concern and that just meant the world to me.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Well, I will always be here for you, maloney. I
- 29:15Speaker 1: love you dearly. And no one makes me laugh like Katie.
- 29:18Speaker 1: I'm telling you what you are fucking hysterical. I want
- 29:25Speaker 1: to talk about what people did not see last night
- 29:27Speaker 1: at that dinner, because it was extremely heated the moment
- 29:32Speaker 1: that Raquel decided. So I was talking to Lisa Vanderbomb
- 29:36Speaker 1: when Raquel decides to sit down with Katie. When I
- 29:40Speaker 1: come over and sit down next to you, Terry, you
- 29:43Speaker 1: say to me, You're not gonna believe what Raquel is saying,
- 29:47Speaker 1: and so I start. You know, I got my ears open.
- 29:51Speaker 1: I'm watching and trying my hardest because I was like,
- 29:54Speaker 1: we have turned a corner. We're not gonna crazy. On
- 29:59Speaker 1: the final night, Yeah, I my mind was blown, and
- 30:04Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I love that you told her to shut up.
- 30:07Speaker 3: I was embarrassed by that.
- 30:08Speaker 1: I know you I was.
- 30:09Speaker 3: I know you were embarrassed and Mom shouldn't be talking
- 30:12Speaker 3: to it.
- 30:13Speaker 1: But my mom, when she watched it, said I would
- 30:17Speaker 1: have grabbed her by the neck, and I said, God's assault.
- 30:23Speaker 3: I had the hardest time before when you came over
- 30:25Speaker 3: and I said, you can't believe because the things that
- 30:28Speaker 3: she was saying, in the tone she was saying to Katie.
- 30:31Speaker 3: Christina Kelly was sitting to the right of me, right
- 30:34Speaker 3: even though it was mind I kept whispering to Christina,
- 30:36Speaker 3: please don't let me say anything.
- 30:38Speaker 4: Please, I was holding it in and you hadn't said
- 30:41Speaker 4: anything at that point.
- 30:42Speaker 1: I just it was a minute. It was a minute.
- 30:44Speaker 1: That conversation lasted a while.
- 30:46Speaker 2: Everyone around us was just sitting there listen, and I
- 30:48Speaker 2: was just That's why I eventually I looked around and
- 30:51Speaker 2: I was like, is anyone hearing this ship? Because I'm
- 30:55Speaker 2: personally just shocked there was people were gasping. I could hear,
- 30:58Speaker 2: because just for her to sit there and tell me
- 31:00Speaker 2: what she doesn't like or appreciate and how I'm handling
- 31:04Speaker 2: my relationship with Tom or like our friendship, and how
- 31:07Speaker 2: we do you know, getting involved in that when she's
- 31:10Speaker 2: been here for like I know, she's been around, she's
- 31:13Speaker 2: been in our orbit, you know, as James's girlfriend or
- 31:16Speaker 2: fiance or whatever you want to call it. But she
- 31:18Speaker 2: does not know Tom, she does not know me, she
- 31:20Speaker 2: does not know our relationship. She she has zero clue.
- 31:23Speaker 1: Now this was the season of her getting to know
- 31:26Speaker 1: this end of the of the group.
- 31:28Speaker 3: Yes, like all of a sudden, the in charge person.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I just so you just raged text him because
- 31:34Speaker 2: like you heard us like that we made out, Like no,
- 31:36Speaker 2: I text him about it, saying because here's the thing.
- 31:39Speaker 2: I know people want to say, like you were never
- 31:41Speaker 2: friends with her cow so there's no girl code. There's
- 31:43Speaker 2: no this or that.
- 31:44Speaker 5: There's always a girl code by well right, but okay,
- 31:47Speaker 5: so the thing if you if you don't know how
- 31:49Speaker 5: to read between lines here without me having to say it,
- 31:52Speaker 5: because there's a fourth wall and we don't talk about filmings.
- 31:56Speaker 2: The first rule about filming is we don't talk about
- 31:58Speaker 2: it that I did not want Tom to or don't
- 32:02Speaker 2: want but like when we agreed that it would not
- 32:04Speaker 2: be healthy, and what I didn't want to do is
- 32:07Speaker 2: talk about Tom kissing people on the show, another cast member,
- 32:12Speaker 2: because like that why like because to me, I wouldn't
- 32:14Speaker 2: do that to him and make it a storyline that
- 32:16Speaker 2: he's now got to talk about in interviews and impress
- 32:19Speaker 2: and it's on social media. Like it just was just
- 32:23Speaker 2: something that was like, can we just keep it out
- 32:25Speaker 2: of here?
- 32:26Speaker 1: Right?
- 32:26Speaker 2: You know, and he agreed. He's like, well, I don't
- 32:28Speaker 2: like who am I going to I'm not like, I'm
- 32:30Speaker 2: not into anyone. I'm like, all right, then great we
- 32:32Speaker 2: agree so like not to like make it about show stuff,
- 32:35Speaker 2: but it's like, can we keep it out of the cast?
- 32:37Speaker 1: And absolutely that's what people don't understand that.
- 32:40Speaker 3: I think we can read between the line.
- 32:41Speaker 2: But some people don't understand that, just like because now
- 32:44Speaker 2: that it happened, now I got to talk about it
- 32:46Speaker 2: and talk about it in every scene and talk about
- 32:49Speaker 2: how I feel about it, and I don't want to
- 32:50Speaker 2: do that, Like I want to heal, I want to
- 32:52Speaker 2: move on. I want us to be friends, and this
- 32:55Speaker 2: makes it difficult. Like you know, Tom had to talk
- 32:58Speaker 2: about Satchel one time after meeting, you know what I mean.
- 33:01Speaker 1: And by the way, he never would have had to
- 33:02Speaker 1: talk about him. But what I don't like is when
- 33:06Speaker 1: people choose the playing field and then when you beat them,
- 33:09Speaker 1: they suddenly don't like the game. Right, Tommy chose the
- 33:13Speaker 1: playing field, and then everyone had like an issue with
- 33:17Speaker 1: you bringing a dude around and you have a boyfriend
- 33:20Speaker 1: and you it's like, what are you talking about?
- 33:23Speaker 2: I brought a date I didn't break a boyfriend, like,
- 33:26Speaker 2: chill the fuck out, everyone, Chill the fuck out.
- 33:29Speaker 3: You know what really bothered me too, that when she
- 33:32Speaker 3: really struck a chord with me when you guys were
- 33:34Speaker 3: having that argument, like I said, I'm refraining, refraining refraining
- 33:38Speaker 3: is when she said something like and I'd appreciate it
- 33:41Speaker 3: if you don't Tommy about.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Oh no, she says. She says, I don't really appreciate
- 33:47Speaker 2: the way, like when you threatened texting him about the dogs,
- 33:51Speaker 2: taking the dog, like I didn't threaten to take the dogs.
- 33:54Speaker 2: When we originally had a prenup. We had something in
- 33:57Speaker 2: there about the dogs, and I suggested that we may
- 33:59Speaker 2: be adhere to that so we don't have to have
- 34:01Speaker 2: constant communication, like get your facts straight, and also like
- 34:03Speaker 2: this is none of your business.
- 34:04Speaker 3: And I think that's.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Where back off. Your heart started pounding. And I remember
- 34:09Speaker 1: saying to Sandoval and and this was also cut out
- 34:13Speaker 1: because sand of all chimed in on that he piggybacked
- 34:15Speaker 1: off of what she was saying about the dogs. And
- 34:18Speaker 1: I said, this is what a grown up relationship looks
- 34:21Speaker 1: like when it doesn't work out. Sometimes you got to
- 34:24Speaker 1: share the dogs. Sometimes you got to share the kids.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Like it just happens and it's already messy enough. Ye,
- 34:33Speaker 1: stay the fuck out of it.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Yeah, just because you took your dog and told James
- 34:38Speaker 2: to kick Rocks doesn't like right, That's not what Tom
- 34:40Speaker 2: and I were doing. So like you were like we
- 34:43Speaker 2: couldn't get along. We were like fighting constantly. So I
- 34:46Speaker 2: was like, I don't want to have to see you.
- 34:47Speaker 2: I don't want to have to talk to you, So like,
- 34:48Speaker 2: let's figure out a situation where you know, And.
- 34:52Speaker 1: That is always a risk when you decide to part
- 34:55Speaker 1: ways from a person. It could be it could go flawless,
- 35:00Speaker 1: but there can always be a shift, and when that happens,
- 35:05Speaker 1: things gotta be switched up. And it's devastating. But it's
- 35:12Speaker 1: a world that most people on our cast cannot comprehend.
- 35:17Speaker 1: You can talk to them about this until you're blue
- 35:20Speaker 1: in the face, but there's not one person who's been
- 35:23Speaker 1: in a relationship where the stakes are so fucking high. Ye,
- 35:29Speaker 1: And that is frustrating to me. It's frustrating that you
- 35:33Speaker 1: have to scream at Raquel about what a husband means
- 35:37Speaker 1: and what a life together means. It's crazy to me
- 35:40Speaker 1: that we have to tell Tom to stop getting involved
- 35:44Speaker 1: and what a separation looks like now right now, they're
- 35:47Speaker 1: gonna have to deal with a house, which that is
- 35:49Speaker 1: not you know, they're gonna have to go through things
- 35:53Speaker 1: that I don't think they ever thought they'd have to
- 35:55Speaker 1: go through. But what you guys also didn't see, which
- 35:59Speaker 1: was insane.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Well yeah, because so yeah, basically things started. You can.
- 36:05Speaker 2: Actually it's crazy because when I watch that, I see
- 36:07Speaker 2: in a moment like you see like my chest sort
- 36:09Speaker 2: of like rise and then fall and that sort of minute.
- 36:11Speaker 2: The adrenaline kicks in right and I'm like, I'm gonna
- 36:15Speaker 2: I'm going to light her on fire. So then my
- 36:18Speaker 2: mom gets well and then when Sandoval chimes in, so
- 36:20Speaker 2: like my brother Joey was there, you didn't really see
- 36:23Speaker 2: him around, well what because they kind of he didn't
- 36:26Speaker 2: just chime in. No, I know, I know, I'm after
- 36:28Speaker 2: getting there, I'm getting Oh. So so when Sandoval starts
- 36:32Speaker 2: going in on me and going after my mom for
- 36:35Speaker 2: telling her cal to shut up, He's just speaking in
- 36:39Speaker 2: ways that are so disrespectful to me and my mom.
- 36:41Speaker 2: So my brother steps in and tells him to basically
- 36:44Speaker 2: shut his mouth.
- 36:45Speaker 3: Well, what he did was is because they were standing
- 36:48Speaker 3: over there, and when I made that comment and then
- 36:52Speaker 3: he talks about Katie pulling her mom and to help
- 36:56Speaker 3: defend her and all of that, it's like, so what
- 36:58Speaker 3: he did is he walked over and sat across from
- 37:01Speaker 3: me and got in my face and told me I
- 37:03Speaker 3: had no right to stay out of their business and
- 37:06Speaker 3: stop making up my business. And that's when I said,
- 37:09Speaker 3: she's my daughter, right.
- 37:10Speaker 1: This was not shown when he didn't, but.
- 37:13Speaker 3: With his you know, house vains possing he gets, he
- 37:17Speaker 3: had that expression and he was like freaking out and
- 37:20Speaker 3: he was like he didn't just say it. He was
- 37:22Speaker 3: yelling at me. And I wasn't even aware that Joey,
- 37:25Speaker 3: my son, was back, you know, and he stepped right
- 37:28Speaker 3: in and came right in and was trying to calm
- 37:31Speaker 3: Sandoval down, and it took him a second, and then
- 37:33Speaker 3: he did, and just as as Joey turned around and
- 37:36Speaker 3: started to step out, he was back in my face again, right,
- 37:38Speaker 3: and Joey, I was so proud of him. You know,
- 37:41Speaker 3: you're not going to talk to my mom that way.
- 37:43Speaker 3: Then Joey stepped away and Sandoval came back in my
- 37:47Speaker 3: face again, and at that point I was like in hysterics.
- 37:51Speaker 3: I was like, this is just way too much that
- 37:53Speaker 3: he's I had that visual still and.
- 37:55Speaker 1: You know.
- 37:57Speaker 3: That, Joey had to step back in again and say,
- 38:00Speaker 3: I mean it, I'm gonna I'm gonna say.
- 38:01Speaker 2: If you say, if you say another thing to her
- 38:04Speaker 2: or to.
- 38:05Speaker 1: Her, any points at Terry, any points at at Katie.
- 38:09Speaker 1: But he does not break. He is a laser. Joey
- 38:12Speaker 1: is a laser focused on Sandival. Sandoval cannot even It's
- 38:15Speaker 1: the first time I've ever seen Sandoval cower and just
- 38:20Speaker 1: say like okay, okay, And he was like, do you
- 38:23Speaker 1: hear me? You're not going to talk to her that way?
- 38:25Speaker 1: And you're not going to talk to her that way
- 38:27Speaker 1: or you're going to have a problem.
- 38:29Speaker 4: It was Bravo released thing funny. Now he's the unshown
- 38:34Speaker 4: hero there.
- 38:36Speaker 2: And meanwhile Tom Schwartz is literally hiding in the bush.
- 38:39Speaker 3: Yeah, whistling because I asked Katie afterwards, I said, where
- 38:43Speaker 3: was Tommy? And all this one you know, why didn't
- 38:45Speaker 3: he step And I mean, bless my son. I mean,
- 38:48Speaker 3: I just love him and I was so proud of
- 38:49Speaker 3: him for that.
- 38:50Speaker 1: You should be very way handled it.
- 38:52Speaker 3: And the fact that you know to protect his mama
- 38:54Speaker 3: that way. I just loved it. But Katie, I think
- 38:57Speaker 3: it was Sjoe that told me, oh, he was hiding
- 38:59Speaker 3: in a in a plant or something like that, and
- 39:01Speaker 3: I didn't know what he meant.
- 39:03Speaker 1: Until you watch, until I saw and he actually.
- 39:05Speaker 4: Was a moment terry where you were like you or
- 39:09Speaker 4: Joey or even you, Katie, You're like, our family is
- 39:12Speaker 4: maybe better off with Auschwartz, and maybe you don't want.
- 39:15Speaker 3: To at that time. No, okay, no, no no, because
- 39:18Speaker 3: I was still emotionally caught up. I mean, it sounds,
- 39:22Speaker 3: it sounds silly, but you guys, you'll experience that. I mean,
- 39:26Speaker 3: you know, it's hard. It took Katie a long long
- 39:29Speaker 3: time to get past this, and you know, it probably
- 39:32Speaker 3: wouldn't have taken as long it had all this stuff
- 39:35Speaker 3: had happen. But no, I was emotionally torn for a
- 39:39Speaker 3: long long time along with her. You know, we spent
- 39:41Speaker 3: many hours on the phone if I wasn't there crying
- 39:45Speaker 3: together and just you know. But another thing that I
- 39:48Speaker 3: wanted to make mention is my other son, Rocky. Katie's
- 39:53Speaker 3: brothers are extremely protective of her as well, you know,
- 39:56Speaker 3: and I just love them for that, but when he
- 40:00Speaker 3: he heard what had happened, that was when he posted
- 40:03Speaker 3: that video. And this is Rocky back Utocky now my
- 40:06Speaker 3: youngest son. Yeah, when Joey texted him and I called
- 40:09Speaker 3: him and someone told what had gone on and everything,
- 40:13Speaker 3: Rocky made a video pouring their bourb and Tom's good
- 40:16Speaker 3: love and bourbon and I don't know the.
- 40:19Speaker 2: Comment dumped it down the drain, and yes he did
- 40:22Speaker 2: the whole bottle, and.
- 40:23Speaker 3: Everybody, everybody on social media was when what the heck went?
- 40:26Speaker 1: Well?
- 40:26Speaker 3: That was why he wanted nothing to do with the
- 40:29Speaker 3: Toms anymore. He didn't want to support them in any
- 40:32Speaker 3: way because nobody, nobody talks to your mom and sisters.
- 40:36Speaker 1: Absolutely not. I was actually and and you know, I
- 40:40Speaker 1: love me a good mama, but I'm going to say
- 40:42Speaker 1: it because I'm extremely offended by sand of all thinking
- 40:47Speaker 1: it was okay to talk to you like that Raquel thing,
- 40:49Speaker 1: It was okay to roll her eyes at you and
- 40:51Speaker 1: say what terry. And not only did they do that,
- 40:55Speaker 1: but cut to the confessional that Tom does saying how
- 40:58Speaker 1: it was tacked hack for him for you to get involved.
- 41:02Speaker 1: What I would like to say is I think it's
- 41:03Speaker 1: tacky that your mom doesn't get involved in enough, sand
- 41:06Speaker 1: of all, I don't think she finished the job with you.
- 41:09Speaker 1: So that's a PSA announcement, sand of all, if you
- 41:14Speaker 1: could call your mama tell her she either done, fucked up,
- 41:16Speaker 1: or didn't finish the job.
- 41:20Speaker 3: I don't care.
- 41:21Speaker 1: No, it's pounding no, like you do not fuck with
- 41:24Speaker 1: a mama. But I was like, my mind, you even
- 41:27Speaker 1: asked her who raised you?
- 41:29Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 41:29Speaker 2: Where were you raised? Like just it's completely feral, just
- 41:33Speaker 2: in the streets, just anything goes like I don't understand this,
- 41:37Speaker 2: do you like just being again, I've said this so
- 41:39Speaker 2: many times. She's morally bankrupt just to just just done,
- 41:44Speaker 2: like I doesn't have any kind of compass, no direction
- 41:47Speaker 2: in terms of like how you navigate life in a
- 41:50Speaker 2: way that is ethical and appropriate, and just lacking in
- 41:55Speaker 2: every department necessary to be a decent human.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Right well, yeah, and then to think about what she
- 42:01Speaker 1: was doing behind this s that's what I mean. It
- 42:04Speaker 1: just her sitting there with with you know, I said
- 42:06Speaker 1: last on last week's podcast, You know, I don't think
- 42:10Speaker 1: she's soulless. I think she has a soul. Rewatching that
- 42:13Speaker 1: scene last night and really breaking it down when She's
- 42:16Speaker 1: at the bar with Arianna and she asks her, so
- 42:20Speaker 1: do you think you guys will work it out? And
- 42:22Speaker 1: Ariana's like, well yeah, and she like grabs her crooked
- 42:26Speaker 1: nose and is.
- 42:26Speaker 2: Like, ok okay, okay.
- 42:28Speaker 1: And in that moment I rewatched it, I was like,
- 42:32Speaker 1: oh no, I think we're dealing with a soulless uh.
- 42:34Speaker 1: Dana was talking about it being either a psycho psychopaths
- 42:37Speaker 1: are or sociopaths are born that way. Psychopaths are not.
- 42:40Speaker 1: It's what maybe it's no switches but.
- 42:44Speaker 2: Sister born sociopaths are made or something.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Well that just put the stamp of like, Okay, I
- 42:51Speaker 1: think we might be soulless.
- 42:52Speaker 4: I agree because I was on the same page as yeah.
- 42:55Speaker 4: And you go back and you look at the moments
- 42:57Speaker 4: of her, or at least I do, throughout the season,
- 43:00Speaker 4: and it was she's thinking all about her fuck, fuck
- 43:04Speaker 4: all of you. I think she would have fucked over
- 43:06Speaker 4: her own sister or brother whatever, because you can tell
- 43:09Speaker 4: she's so I'm gonna say it, she's so thirsty to
- 43:14Speaker 4: solidify her place on screen that I think when she
- 43:19Speaker 4: comes to you Laila a few episodes back, and she
- 43:21Speaker 4: wants to have a talk and you think she's gonna apologize,
- 43:23Speaker 4: and then she starts being like but you or whatever
- 43:26Speaker 4: she said, and you're like, wait, are you here to
- 43:27Speaker 4: apologize or start a fight with you, Katie? Which I
- 43:30Speaker 4: know I want you guys to talk about, but forcing
- 43:33Speaker 4: herself into these conversations and like appearing out of nowhere
- 43:37Speaker 4: in the sir back parking lot, it's like, oh shit,
- 43:39Speaker 4: it's like a jump scare.
- 43:40Speaker 3: It's like what are you doing here?
- 43:42Speaker 4: And the kiss with Schwartz like fuck everyone else.
- 43:45Speaker 1: It's so thirsty to.
- 43:47Speaker 4: Be like I'm here and I'm making a mark, and
- 43:49Speaker 4: it's like, well, you don't belong here, because.
- 43:52Speaker 1: That's not the vibe. That's not the vibe. This is
- 43:55Speaker 1: not season one through four. We're in a different we're
- 43:58Speaker 1: playing a different game now.
- 44:00Speaker 2: It was it was always very disturbing to watch, and
- 44:03Speaker 2: she was in the way she played off was just
- 44:04Speaker 2: like you know what, I'm just coming into my own
- 44:06Speaker 2: I'm finding myself. This is me. I'm in my single
- 44:09Speaker 2: go era, I'm in my baddy boss whatever whatever she
- 44:13Speaker 2: was proclaiming, whatever she was proclaiming to be, it was
- 44:15Speaker 2: just like, you're not going to behave this way and
- 44:19Speaker 2: then throw some ridiculous like titles over it to say
- 44:21Speaker 2: that like this is what this is, this is my
- 44:24Speaker 2: whatever era you think you were in, you're just a mess.
- 44:27Speaker 3: I just could not comprehend, like you said. Do you
- 44:32Speaker 3: think she just didn't care? Or do you think she
- 44:34Speaker 3: just didn't understand? Both? Actually, I mean both. And let's
- 44:40Speaker 3: just put aside the fact that I'm a mom. Anybody
- 44:43Speaker 3: that's hurting, anybody that you've caused pain to, regardless of
- 44:47Speaker 3: what the situation is, you're you know, somebody's sitting in
- 44:50Speaker 3: front of you going, don't you get it? And you
- 44:52Speaker 3: know why you hurt me? And for her to be
- 44:55Speaker 3: so hurtless and just not even apologize, I mean, it
- 45:00Speaker 3: doesn't matter if I'm a mom or who I am.
- 45:03Speaker 1: Just let's just say you're just some viewer and I
- 45:06Speaker 1: and if.
- 45:06Speaker 3: I hurt you so much that you're sitting on and
- 45:09Speaker 3: in front of me telling me, guys, you hurt me
- 45:10Speaker 3: so bad, a normal person would go, I'm so sorry,
- 45:14Speaker 3: you know, I'm so very sad. I mean, it would
- 45:17Speaker 3: hurt me to know if I hurt somebody that bad,
- 45:19Speaker 3: even if it was intentional.
- 45:20Speaker 1: Well, even her apology in the alley, which By the way,
- 45:23Speaker 1: can we just like pay homage to the fact the
- 45:26Speaker 1: last scene pretty much being in Sirs back alley, It's.
- 45:31Speaker 4: Just a full circle moment iconic. She ruined that scene
- 45:35Speaker 4: because I saw it Katie and Tom in the alley
- 45:36Speaker 4: and I was like, yes, we're back, baby, and then
- 45:39Speaker 4: she came in and I'm like, you've ruined this iconic zea.
- 45:41Speaker 1: I know that I hurt you, and the fact that
- 45:45Speaker 1: it was me hurt you even more.
- 45:47Speaker 2: I'm like, what say, Tommy, it am I on right now?
- 45:52Speaker 3: Tommy sitting there going no hear her out here.
- 45:54Speaker 1: Out I don't want to hear her out I don't
- 45:58Speaker 1: want to hear her apology after she's left, and he's like, well,
- 46:00Speaker 1: didn't say that, You're like I said that, I've said it.
- 46:03Speaker 2: I said that, but like, no, when she comes, just
- 46:07Speaker 2: for her to come out there, like I've already heard
- 46:08Speaker 2: enough from you tonight, bitch, Like walk away, walk away.
- 46:11Speaker 2: We're trying to I'm trying to talk to tom now
- 46:13Speaker 2: so we can what. I don't know. I don't remember
- 46:15Speaker 2: what I was planning on saying to him or what
- 46:17Speaker 2: that was conversation was going to be about. But her
- 46:20Speaker 2: coming in and then them just having their little laugh.
- 46:22Speaker 2: They're like, you know, we were just like it was
- 46:23Speaker 2: just like our little lady you bro thing. We were
- 46:26Speaker 2: just like exploring and having fun. I'm like, are you
- 46:29Speaker 2: are you guys just like laughing together right now in
- 46:31Speaker 2: front of me after like everything that just went down.
- 46:33Speaker 2: So I just start mocking them, being like this is
- 46:35Speaker 2: so much fun, Like get all the fun we're having,
- 46:37Speaker 2: Like please go away, Like this is so weird you guys?
- 46:40Speaker 2: Are you guys have lost your damn mines, lost, lost
- 46:43Speaker 2: the plot, lost their minds, lost it all.
- 46:45Speaker 1: Like well, I mean, I'm sure that like the Barnacle
- 46:49Speaker 1: has a tough time reading in general, right, she ain't
- 46:51Speaker 1: gonna be reading between the lines, that's for damn sure.
- 46:53Speaker 1: She certainly ain't reading in a room. But it's like,
- 46:57Speaker 1: did you not just see Katie? Katie literally just told
- 47:00Speaker 1: you you're in fing ce you next Tuesday. And you
- 47:03Speaker 1: think this is the moment and then you laugh at her, yeah,
- 47:06Speaker 1: and then you think this is the moment when she's
- 47:08Speaker 1: in the back alley with her soon to be ex husband,
- 47:13Speaker 1: that's the moment you choose to deliver an apology, Like
- 47:16Speaker 1: I think that's when you take a step back and go,
- 47:18Speaker 1: you know what, I messed up. I'm going to give
- 47:20Speaker 1: this some breathing room and I'm going to send her
- 47:22Speaker 1: a message tomorrow that just says I get like the
- 47:26Speaker 1: level of we said it and have a sue. She's
- 47:29Speaker 1: truly insane.
- 47:30Speaker 2: Yeah, no, she That was the weirdest I've never seen
- 47:33Speaker 2: somebody go through like a It was maniacal.
- 47:37Speaker 1: It was.
- 47:37Speaker 2: It was insane because she was We were having a
- 47:41Speaker 2: really good time in Vegas, like we had. We had
- 47:43Speaker 2: so much. So yeah, there was the comment about not
- 47:45Speaker 2: having a man.
- 47:46Speaker 1: We shook that so fast though.
- 47:48Speaker 2: It was fine. And then we and then that whole
- 47:50Speaker 2: It took us like four hours to get to have
- 47:51Speaker 2: a sue, but we had such like a bonding moment.
- 47:54Speaker 2: I was like, this is great, look at us, Gal's
- 47:57Speaker 2: coming together. And then we get to have a sue.
- 48:00Speaker 2: And she shows up to dinner as a completely different
- 48:02Speaker 2: person and it just all goes to shit. And then
- 48:05Speaker 2: she goes back to LA and gives a very very
- 48:08Speaker 2: very different version of the entire trip to everyone, and.
- 48:11Speaker 1: They all believed it and a Telly that would track,
- 48:13Speaker 1: but that is not how it went down. I think
- 48:17Speaker 1: what they don't understand is people can evolve, people can change,
- 48:21Speaker 1: people can be humbled. But because that group at the
- 48:24Speaker 1: time had never experienced those types of things, they just
- 48:28Speaker 1: thought that Katie and I invited her on this trip
- 48:32Speaker 1: to I don't know bully her is basically what she
- 48:36Speaker 1: said we did. Yeah, could not have been further from
- 48:38Speaker 1: the truth. But I remember after HAVISU and I don't
- 48:41Speaker 1: know if I shared this with you guys or not,
- 48:43Speaker 1: I have a scene that didn't make it with Sena
- 48:46Speaker 1: and Ariana and I tell them how the trip went
- 48:50Speaker 1: and what she said about not having a man, and
- 48:54Speaker 1: they laugh about it and they talk about that being savage.
- 49:00Speaker 2: Well, I don't think that's so savage now.
- 49:02Speaker 1: Right, not so savage when it's your man that she's fucking.
- 49:05Speaker 1: And by the way, I am thrilled that I have
- 49:08Speaker 1: treated her poorly for many years because look at what
- 49:12Speaker 1: she does to people that are nice to her, right,
- 49:15Speaker 1: you know.
- 49:15Speaker 2: That's that's why I said, Ariana is like, I don't
- 49:17Speaker 2: I think she's broken, Like, I don't think it's like
- 49:20Speaker 2: this is somebody who like is just does this to
- 49:22Speaker 2: some people, not everyone. I don't think she's like I
- 49:24Speaker 2: think she's this is a flaw in her and I
- 49:28Speaker 2: would be careful, like I don't don't I know unders
- 49:30Speaker 2: saying that she's a good friend, but like she's I
- 49:32Speaker 2: think she's evil, right, I think she's truly to her
- 49:35Speaker 2: core evil person.
- 49:36Speaker 4: And we praised that line on last week's podcast episode
- 49:40Speaker 4: because that was we totally agreed when you said that, like, this.
- 49:45Speaker 1: Is who she is. She's showing you who she is.
- 49:47Speaker 4: She doesn't just treat some people like shit and then
- 49:50Speaker 4: some people wonderfully I think, and I compared it to
- 49:53Speaker 4: like when you go out with someone, if they treat
- 49:56Speaker 4: the waiter like shit, that's who they are. When people
- 49:59Speaker 4: show you who they our, believe them, and it's usually
- 50:01Speaker 4: the negative traits. And that was so spot on. It's
- 50:04Speaker 4: like she's not just evil to some people and an
- 50:06Speaker 4: angel to others.
- 50:07Speaker 3: That's who she.
- 50:08Speaker 2: Is and it's who and it's exactly what she was doing,
- 50:10Speaker 2: like I know, I like and and for her to
- 50:13Speaker 2: have that conversation with Ariana by the back bar in
- 50:16Speaker 2: the last episode and trying to take temperature to see
- 50:19Speaker 2: if Arianna was maybe you know, gonna try to break
- 50:22Speaker 2: up a sandal or something like that, or she could
- 50:23Speaker 2: convince her to all under the guise of trying to
- 50:26Speaker 2: be a friend, right, Like, that's the evil. That's evilness
- 50:31Speaker 2: right there. And so I just.
- 50:35Speaker 3: I've never come across a person a lot of this
- 50:38Speaker 3: nature ever, So it just again I'm still trying to
- 50:42Speaker 3: process it all over right mind, you know, I just,
- 50:45Speaker 3: I mean, she definitely needs some sort of help, help,
- 50:49Speaker 3: she really really does, and that and it's that's I'm
- 50:54Speaker 3: not even excusing all that she did because of it either,
- 50:57Speaker 3: because it just was NonStop and you know what, I
- 50:59Speaker 3: couldn't understand us all along throughout this season. You girls
- 51:05Speaker 3: were like given the title of the mean Girls, right,
- 51:08Speaker 3: but yet how was it not perceived that what she
- 51:11Speaker 3: was doing was just as mean and just asking I.
- 51:17Speaker 2: Just it comes down to, like I've brought this up
- 51:19Speaker 2: to you, it's a likability thing because she's always been
- 51:21Speaker 2: a likable person. She was, you know with James, and
- 51:24Speaker 2: she was this sweet, sort of like meek person who
- 51:27Speaker 2: couldn't really stand her ground, and then hear she is,
- 51:30Speaker 2: you know, stepping out on her own and this whole thing.
- 51:33Speaker 2: Were I in Lalla for the past how many years
- 51:36Speaker 2: have been someone who's strong and assertive and has opinions
- 51:40Speaker 2: and it's a very misogynistic thing that goes on that
- 51:45Speaker 2: people don't whether it's male and female, that that feel
- 51:49Speaker 2: this way about other women, that it just is not acceptable,
- 51:53Speaker 2: it's not palatable. It rubs people the wrong way. It
- 51:56Speaker 2: doesn't make you very likable. Some people admire it, what's up?
- 52:01Speaker 2: But you know that for other people they're just like
- 52:04Speaker 2: they you know, you become a bit, you become negative,
- 52:07Speaker 2: you become difficult. It's just not like likable things. Even
- 52:12Speaker 2: though there it is. I think it's a great quality
- 52:13Speaker 2: to have to be. I think it is strongly, but
- 52:16Speaker 2: to other people that can like because again, missogyny. If
- 52:20Speaker 2: society doesn't, they don't uphold women.
- 52:22Speaker 3: That do that.
- 52:24Speaker 1: No, they want women.
- 52:25Speaker 2: They smile and they're bubbly and they're always in a
- 52:28Speaker 2: good mood.
- 52:29Speaker 1: Absolutely, And even though society says that we should be
- 52:33Speaker 1: a certain way women and they want to empower us
- 52:36Speaker 1: and they want to like move us up the food chain,
- 52:39Speaker 1: the actions are proving otherwise, right, because there are consequences
- 52:45Speaker 1: when you're vocal as a woman, when you stand for something,
- 52:49Speaker 1: it's looked at as you know, you're volatile. She must
- 52:52Speaker 1: be on her period, she's difficult, yes, And you know
- 52:56Speaker 1: I'm not willing and I know Katie's not willing to conform.
- 53:01Speaker 1: I'm not going to be this cookie cutter chick that
- 53:05Speaker 1: that rubs you the right way. If I rub you
- 53:08Speaker 1: the wrong way, that's a you issue that has nothing
- 53:11Speaker 1: to do with me. Yeah, you seem to be someone
- 53:14Speaker 1: who has a lot to hide, and when Katie and
- 53:17Speaker 1: I come along, we're gonna sniff that shit out. So
- 53:19Speaker 1: we immediately become a liability to you.
- 53:21Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, we become a problem because we're not going
- 53:24Speaker 2: to let you get by so easy.
- 53:26Speaker 3: Right.
- 53:26Speaker 1: But and then it plays in their favor because they
- 53:29Speaker 1: can go back and say, oh, they're miserable la Lage,
- 53:32Speaker 1: just bitter.
- 53:34Speaker 3: You're right, you're not vindictive about it at least, you know,
- 53:37Speaker 3: maybe because they know you both so well. But you're
- 53:40Speaker 3: just no bs and you say it like it is,
- 53:43Speaker 3: I know, and you're not mean about it. It's just perceived.
- 53:46Speaker 2: It's perceived that way because people are like, well, you've
- 53:48Speaker 2: been so mean to people that I'm like, no, I
- 53:50Speaker 2: don't take people's shit. If someone's treating me a certain way,
- 53:52Speaker 2: I'm going to defend myself in a way that is
- 53:56Speaker 2: a Yeah, it's assertive, and so it's not me being
- 53:58Speaker 2: a bitch to somebody. You have to take an account
- 54:00Speaker 2: what just happened before that, Like, all right, somebody's if
- 54:04Speaker 2: somebody's coming at me or treating me away or speaking
- 54:06Speaker 2: to me in a way, I don't just cry and
- 54:09Speaker 2: turn myself into a victim. I will bark back like
- 54:11Speaker 2: I'm That's just how I am. And it's but again,
- 54:14Speaker 2: people see.
- 54:14Speaker 3: That annas Raquel puts it. Rachel oh, when she was
- 54:19Speaker 3: making that comment, Oh well, yeah, now I see where
- 54:22Speaker 3: Katie gets it from talking.
- 54:24Speaker 1: You're damn right. You wish you wish your mama gave
- 54:27Speaker 1: you what Terry Maloney gave Katie.
- 54:30Speaker 3: Not only that, Katy and I both laughed and said
- 54:33Speaker 3: she should be thankful.
- 54:35Speaker 1: Sandy wasn't randma, Sandy, don't play your mom.
- 54:41Speaker 3: Yes, Terry.
- 54:42Speaker 1: She literally asked me back in the day when I
- 54:47Speaker 1: had just met her, Katie and I were finally in
- 54:49Speaker 1: a good place, and she goes, you know, I was
- 54:52Speaker 1: just wondering because they said you gave blow jobs and
- 54:56Speaker 1: got a rain drover, and I was genuinely curious if
- 54:59Speaker 1: the technique gets you a range rover versus something else,
- 55:03Speaker 1: And I was like, oh shit. I was like, I
- 55:07Speaker 1: don't know, should I be teaching a class?
- 55:09Speaker 3: Yeah, my mom comes off the wall with some things.
- 55:12Speaker 3: They're like, that's right.
- 55:15Speaker 2: That's why I told the girls the other night that
- 55:18Speaker 2: you know from a started at a young age, like
- 55:21Speaker 2: when I was in like fourth grade, and you get
- 55:22Speaker 2: into like little arm you know, first fights with your
- 55:24Speaker 2: friends and stuff. She's like, you know what, you don't
- 55:26Speaker 2: take that ship when that happens, you just tell them
- 55:28Speaker 2: to eat and die.
- 55:29Speaker 1: No, I'm telling you what. All right, you encounter the
- 55:32Speaker 1: person like Katie or myself, you better know that that
- 55:36Speaker 1: is generations of fucking savage women, all right, Yeah, this
- 55:43Speaker 1: is a generational thing. Women don't just appear like me
- 55:46Speaker 1: and Katie.
- 55:46Speaker 2: Yeah. So if you want if you if you don't
- 55:48Speaker 2: want any trouble, then don't come asking for if you
- 55:51Speaker 2: like again, because you know what you're gonna get with me.
- 55:54Speaker 1: You're gonna get the smoke. Why do people sit here
- 55:57Speaker 1: when you start puff puff passing, You're gonna get the smell.
- 56:01Speaker 2: Yeah, if you're doing if you're fucking with me, you're
- 56:04Speaker 2: gonna find out.
- 56:06Speaker 1: You're gonna find out.
- 56:07Speaker 2: Exactly because I'm not somebody that just takes that shit
- 56:10Speaker 2: lying down. So don't turn around and be like, why
- 56:11Speaker 2: are you being so mean? Why do you think? What
- 56:13Speaker 2: have you been doing? How have you been treating me?
- 56:15Speaker 2: Of course I don't. You're not gonna get away with
- 56:18Speaker 2: that obviously, So like, if I'm being a bitch, it's
- 56:21Speaker 2: because you're you're not being you're acting right.
- 56:24Speaker 1: You're not acting right. Come correct, And I will treat
- 56:26Speaker 1: you if you treat me like a human being, if
- 56:30Speaker 1: you're kind to me, for you can at least have
- 56:31Speaker 1: a conversation, you know whatever, if we need to discuss.
- 56:34Speaker 2: It, then we can. I'll treat you very differently. But
- 56:36Speaker 2: if you start acting a fool and you start fucking
- 56:39Speaker 2: with me, I'm but you.
- 56:41Speaker 3: Know, and I do have to say though I shared
- 56:44Speaker 3: this with Katie also as I and she knows that anyway,
- 56:47Speaker 3: she's had so much growth because she does have that
- 56:50Speaker 3: personality trait where no bs and sharp tongue and all
- 56:53Speaker 3: of that. I mean, I'm not embarrassed to say it's
- 56:55Speaker 3: not you know, a good trait of mine either, but
- 56:58Speaker 3: you know it is passed down generation and it's not
- 57:02Speaker 3: that I have a real sharp tongue. I can hold
- 57:05Speaker 3: it in and refrain it and keep my composure somewhat
- 57:08Speaker 3: like like you saw me do, because that's not really
- 57:11Speaker 3: what I wanted. I really wanted to tear enter. But
- 57:15Speaker 3: I see that in Katie, and it's I really admire
- 57:18Speaker 3: that in you as well, Lala, when you can get
- 57:20Speaker 3: it off your chest and be real, be direct. This
- 57:24Speaker 3: is not you know, I don't appreciate this, whatever it is.
- 57:26Speaker 3: It's confront you know, a confrontation of whatever. Keep your
- 57:30Speaker 3: composure and still get it out is. And that's even
- 57:34Speaker 3: a little bit more intimidating on the receiving end of
- 57:38Speaker 3: it because you're saying like you're saying it like it is,
- 57:42Speaker 3: but you're so composed, And it's just I see that
- 57:44Speaker 3: kind of growth in Katie, and I admire it, you know,
- 57:47Speaker 3: But I also think a lot of it comes from
- 57:50Speaker 3: what y'all have just come out of, right, the experience,
- 57:55Speaker 3: the painful experience that you both just went through, and
- 57:58Speaker 3: you you live and you learn and you take these
- 58:02Speaker 3: and I've always taught Katie this growing up. You use
- 58:04Speaker 3: them as stepping stones. As painful as it is, it's
- 58:08Speaker 3: just taught you what you're not going to put up with,
- 58:11Speaker 3: what you don't want in former relationships, whether whether it
- 58:14Speaker 3: be female or male relationships. It just makes you stronger
- 58:18Speaker 3: as long as you can learn from it, grow from it.
- 58:22Speaker 3: And that's what I see you both.
- 58:24Speaker 2: As long as you're not dumb bitch.
- 58:25Speaker 3: Oh well, but you know some people don't. I know,
- 58:31Speaker 3: you'll turn around and get right back in the same
- 58:33Speaker 3: kind of relationship or you know. But you both also
- 58:38Speaker 3: accepted accountability and take taken some responsibility of things that
- 58:43Speaker 3: didn't go right, you know.
- 58:45Speaker 1: And I also think you and I took after our
- 58:47Speaker 1: relationships ended. I mean, what are we How long has
- 58:50Speaker 1: it been since your relationship ended?
- 58:52Speaker 2: Soon over a year? It was like last February, So
- 58:56Speaker 2: what are we in May?
- 58:58Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 58:58Speaker 2: Ye're in long.
- 59:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 59:01Speaker 1: I am happy that you and I took a beat
- 59:04Speaker 1: to go out, have fun, experience other men, and not
- 59:11Speaker 1: jump into a relationship because I think that when you
- 59:16Speaker 1: experience any sort of trauma at what, at any type
- 59:21Speaker 1: of level in a past relationship, you jump into another
- 59:25Speaker 1: and it will manifest itself.
- 59:26Speaker 2: Well it's yeah, it's called transference. You just transfer the
- 59:30Speaker 2: same trauma, the same everything into you don't have time
- 59:34Speaker 2: to heal or process or really.
- 59:36Speaker 3: Right and That's what I mean by taking what you've learned,
- 59:39Speaker 3: you know, and building on it, growing, you know, and
- 59:43Speaker 3: like Katie said, taking time to heal.
- 59:45Speaker 1: Yeah, but focus on us.
- 59:48Speaker 3: With that being said, if the right man should pop
- 59:51Speaker 3: and be right in front of you, then you know
- 59:53Speaker 3: it is what it is. But no, I'm placed to
- 59:56Speaker 3: in place that Katie's enjoying herself and and dating, and
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: that's the right. I feel so much better just knowing
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: where she's at. Even though we just had to rewatch
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: it play out, and you asked me a little bit
- 1:00:13Speaker 3: ago if at that point did I think it would
- 1:00:17Speaker 3: be best that Schwartz was not in our life. That
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: was a real hard thing to let go of. And
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: I get told Katie, I said, you know, it really
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: hurts me that I feel this way about Tommy now
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: because I saw it play out and I saw how
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: he intentionally did and said things to hurt her. You know,
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: we all watched the same show, right, so just seeing
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: it play out all I was getting from what she
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: was being time to actually visually see it and some
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: of the things that he said below his breath, like
- 1:00:50Speaker 3: at the after the beach disgusting. When you guys went
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: to the bar and he was trying to get Katie's attention,
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: and Katie wasn't being rude. It was like, you know,
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: I said hi, and then under his broth he says
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: to stand of Oh God, I hate Katie. I'm so
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: glad I'm not with her. Just seeing that play out
- 1:01:07Speaker 3: hurts me so bad because it's somebody, Like I said,
- 1:01:11Speaker 3: it was a family member, right, you know, and I
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: know her brothers and sister in laws feel the same way.
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: It's like, we loved him. I was just with Joe's
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: wife Valley the other day and she said I loved him.
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: She was, but you know, I'm just afraid the next
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: time I see Am I want to punch him. Yeah,
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: she said, he's just what he's done to you know.
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: I mean. Yeah. So Katie's got a lot of love
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: and support from her family, Absolutely love and support.
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: I'm so happy the season is almost done.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: Well, yeah, we got three reunion episodes.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: Yes, you guys have tonight to look for now.
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: You have you guys seen tonight's episode yet, because I
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: know usually you get to pre watch him.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: Well at this point in time, because we're recording early,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: I haven't seen it yet, but when it airs yeah,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: I will have seen it, and it's a wild one.
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: We know that, right.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: It's all scannabal, it's all scannaval.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: This is all stuff that was filmed in March. March,
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: so it's like everything in the previous episode was September.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: So yeah, it's the future.
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: So I want to thank you Katie and especially you
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: for coming on my podcast. We are going to head
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: to the grove now to see Christina Kelly and her
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: new babe. I'm hungry, let's eat, all right, you guys,
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: thank you so much for listening to another episode. Enjoy
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: VPR tonight and I will catch you for Tonight's breakdown
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: next week.
