- 0:00Let's do it. Let's not no more countdowns.
- 0:02None, we're done. We're done with the countdowns.
- 0:04Welcome everybody, welcome back to the show.
- 0:06We are alive again, Jeff. You're going to Starbase next
- 0:10Tuesday. Jeff.
- 0:11Thank you so much for the Super Chat immediately immediately.
- 0:15Thank you so much. I don't know if we have The
- 0:20Allure widget going on there. Maybe we'll see.
- 0:24We'll see if you get a Starship. Maybe, I don't know what.
- 0:29I hope we do, but we got a couple Starship launches.
- 0:31Um, yeah, wait Jeff have you been there before?
- 0:41Don't know if you got any starch.
- 0:42Oh, there we go. Okay, there you go.
- 0:43You got some who Thank you for the show eject.
- 0:48Yo you've, no man. Jeff, you're so pumped right
- 0:52now. This is amazing.
- 0:54This is so cool. I am so happy for you.
- 0:56That you're going there. You get five Starship Launches
- 0:58on the show, by the way, and you've never been to Starbase,
- 1:02how is the mic sounding. And by the way, I was having
- 1:04troubles with it earlier and it was kind of like clipping and
- 1:07being like, really weird and really loud and annoying.
- 1:09So if anybody, anybody hears any weird stuff, or if it's
- 1:14correctly or anything, please let me know because I I've been
- 1:17struggling with this thing a whole day.
- 1:19Like all day 5x5, Jeff cool. Okay, amazing.
- 1:24Thanks eject. Okay, one more, one more
- 1:27Landing. Okay?
- 1:28So Jeff, you are, you're in for a treat.
- 1:32And since I live there for like nine months, there you go.
- 1:35Your last Landing. I was there for like nine
- 1:37months. So I sort of have it, have a,
- 1:40have a Insider's perspective of what to expect, when you get
- 1:43down there, and there's a few things that I can give you a
- 1:47little bit of info before you go.
- 1:50Because if you're going to go down there and you're going to
- 1:52be there for a day or two, cool, if you're going to be there for
- 1:55a day, that's Cool. Two or however, long you're
- 1:58going to be there, but I would suggest one charge everything to
- 2:02full capacity, charge. Everything, you got every
- 2:05camera, every battery, every phone.
- 2:08You have all your headphones, everything you got charge,
- 2:11everything passing wind, what's up?
- 2:13What's up, chard? How you doing?
- 2:16It's good to see you guys again, by the way, and do this live
- 2:18again, because I haven't done this in a little bit, I just
- 2:21got. So, I just moved back to New
- 2:23York, a little bit ago to be with my family.
- 2:27And the trip was pretty. It was not bad.
- 2:31Actually, I did like a five-day trip five.
- 2:34Yeah, 5 days and it was just like, it's pretty chill.
- 2:38I just drove like seven or eight hours a day.
- 2:40It was pretty cool. Sixers between six and eight
- 2:42hours a day. It's pretty cool.
- 2:44Got to see some cool stuff but there's nothing.
- 2:45Absolutely nothing like Starbase so Jeff to get a get a I would
- 2:52say get a bunch of water with you because it's hot down there.
- 2:56dude, it is really hot and not just like Heat like Oh, I'm a
- 3:02little bit, you know, a little bit hot.
- 3:05No, it's like burning like your skin will burn so hot down
- 3:08there, it's ridiculous. So, get a bunch of water.
- 3:12Get cold water to if you get a, like, a thermos or something
- 3:15like that, to put like ice water in.
- 3:17I would do that. I get a cooler.
- 3:20They can make sure you're nice and cool.
- 3:21You have a hat. Like a big hat is really, it's a
- 3:24big recommendation from me but like a big hat is always a good
- 3:28thing. Like when I was fishing hats, I
- 3:30got Fishing hat. And, you know, it's like a wide
- 3:33brim hat, really, really important for that Sonny's.
- 3:37Of course, it's a sunglasses, you want to wear something to
- 3:39cover up your skin to even though it's going to be like a
- 3:42million degrees down there. You want something that's going
- 3:44to cover up your skin. So you don't get a sunburn.
- 3:46And so the sun doesn't like baked you but make sure it's
- 3:49breathable of course. So you don't overheat and and
- 3:54this is meet what. So this is me talking about my
- 3:57experiences and my experiences are going to be different than
- 4:00everybody else. Is because I've had heat
- 4:01injuries in the past. He Strokes, you know, exhaustion
- 4:05things like that in the past from when I was really young up
- 4:09until I don't know 30 or something like that.
- 4:13So those things, it affects me differently than everybody else.
- 4:16So that's one reason why I wasn't always out in the heat
- 4:19when I was in Texas to is because like my body can't
- 4:22handle it, that's just the way it is.
- 4:24So everything you can do a lot of sunscreen, a lot of
- 4:29sunscreen, lot of Just just bring in snacks and things to,
- 4:34you know, bring in things if you're going to have your own
- 4:37car, you know, make sure to have all your all your things too.
- 4:42Like, you know, fix a tire, you know, things like that because
- 4:46there's literally no resources down there for, for anything
- 4:52like literal and of the everyone's really nice.
- 4:54Everyone's pretty nice down there.
- 4:55If something does happen to you in your vehicle, but just know
- 4:59that it's Miles in the middle of nowhere.
- 5:03And there's like, no resources, no bathroom.
- 5:05So go before you go, like go to the bathroom.
- 5:08Go the restroom before you go like stopped at a gas station,
- 5:10right? Before you hit that road because
- 5:12you're gonna be drinking plenty of water and you're going to be
- 5:14sweating. But you'll also drink plenty of
- 5:17water and you might have to use some use resources down there
- 5:23that you weren't expecting. You know what I'm saying?
- 5:25So, there were times right when I'm like, I'm like, I got there
- 5:29in the morning and I'm like, Okay, I'm going to film for an
- 5:33hour, you know, or whatever. And they're like I got down
- 5:37there in like 15 minutes and I'm like oh man.
- 5:43Huh. What am I going to do now?
- 5:46It's like forgot to go pee before I left my house.
- 5:48So it was like oh man I gotta hold it for like an hour, that
- 5:52sucked. Mr. True shoe says hello!
- 5:56I'll keep up the great work. Sir.
- 5:58Thank you so much. I'm being extra, charging packs.
- 6:00I'm staying at Rocky Ranch. Oh sure, you're gonna be fine.
- 6:02Then if you can see in a rocket Ranch, they have everything.
- 6:05Jeff has a big hat. Sweet pessimistic as a Miami
- 6:08native trick. I can tell you is, if you get
- 6:10sunburned, slice it to me to rub it on your Sunburn.
- 6:13Sunburn is alkaline Burnin Tomatoes acid that counteracts
- 6:17it, really? I didn't know that.
- 6:20I always use a low on my sunburns and there's actually
- 6:24there was a stream, it's kind of funny.
- 6:27So, and it's like, not funny funny, but it's like, it's like
- 6:31there was a time when I got a sunburn when I was down there
- 6:34and I didn't realize I got a sunburn because I always wear a
- 6:36hat, always wear sunscreen everything, but it was just
- 6:38like, baking me that day apparently and I was out there.
- 6:40We too long. Apply sunscreen.
- 6:43Of course, you know, sometime before you get down there some
- 6:46people are different. I put on an hour before.
- 6:48Then I put it on 15 minutes before too.
- 6:51And then so I got down there and apparently I got a sunburn and I
- 6:55didn't know this and then I got home and I did a live stream
- 6:59from the apartment in Brownsville and somebody was
- 7:02like, ooh like oh you got sunburned.
- 7:05It's like whoa, what's wrong with your face?
- 7:07I was like, I don't know what. Oh, you know, I was like, oh
- 7:10yeah, that's not good. So Yeah, so just be careful.
- 7:14That's all I'm saying. The sun is brutal down there.
- 7:16It's very British things that I like the heat that I
- 7:20experienced. There was nothing like anything
- 7:22I've ever experienced before. Maybe Maybe Arizona or Vegas but
- 7:26it was like is humid as well and I lived in what's it called near
- 7:34Orlando. I lived a wasp West, Palm Beach
- 7:37to and I think West Palm Beach was a little bit hotter but it
- 7:40was nothing like it down there. So yeah, just be careful and I'm
- 7:44super pumped. You're going Jeff that's really
- 7:46cool. Yeah, I just had prostate cancer
- 7:51surgery. So I've got to be careful for
- 7:52sure. Yeah, it's really take care of
- 7:54yourself. That's, that's the key man.
- 7:56Like, just, just take it easy. Like, don't go crazy.
- 8:01Just go go, pretty chill. You know.
- 8:04It's exciting though. And everything is way bigger
- 8:08than you expect to. Here we go.
- 8:10We gotta, we gotta launch. We got a new launch PKA client.
- 8:14Thank you so much for the Super Chat.
- 8:16Never been to Starbucks before. For so, July 26. 31st will be
- 8:19the first time I made sure to get a rental vehicle.
- 8:21PKA, that's the way to go. Make sure that that rental
- 8:24vehicle that you got is a good one.
- 8:27Make sure, you know crank, the AC, you know, make sure you're
- 8:31nice and cool because it is hot down there.
- 8:36Yeah. And like, I would always keep a
- 8:37case of water in my trunk. That was always my thing.
- 8:40I would always just keep a case of water in my trunk and I'd
- 8:43always offer it to people. You know, I would always offer
- 8:45people water when I'm down there and like whatever.
- 8:48X. I had, you know, I always had
- 8:49like beef jerky and stuff, which isn't the best kind of snack,
- 8:52you know, salty snacks, probably aren't you know the best well
- 8:55maybe they neither. Okay, but yeah, any snacks you
- 8:59can bring with you bring bring everything with you but don't
- 9:02leave anything behind. So make sure to leave it the way
- 9:05that you like when you got there make sure that you leave it
- 9:08better than how it how when you got there.
- 9:11So it's like, you know, it's endangered species area.
- 9:15So Just make sure that you take care of the endangered species
- 9:20as well. Make sure you take care of the
- 9:21birds. There's a lot of birds.
- 9:23It's cool. So you're going to be there
- 9:25looking Rockets. I got to turn off these alerts
- 9:28but thank you so much PKA Clan. I appreciate that, the super
- 9:31chant and I really hope you have a good time at Starbase because
- 9:34it is, it's super fun. It's super super fun,
- 9:37everything's huge. So when I drove back from Texas,
- 9:41so I drove back through, I drew back through Austin and Dallas
- 9:45Fort Worth area, and I'm like driving.
- 9:47Driving through the middle of nowhere and there's like you
- 9:49know it's like a just like a plain old highway, you know?
- 9:53And it's hot still 95 degrees when I left my apartment with in
- 9:58this is it like I don't know, it was like 11 o'clock in the
- 10:02morning, 95 degrees but with the humidity it was 103 and 104.
- 10:08And I was like, I hope my car makes it because it's really
- 10:11hot. So I made it all the way back
- 10:16home, but on my way home, I went through Austin and Houston or
- 10:19Dallas. I'm sorry.
- 10:20Dallas Fort Worth area and I was looking around to look at the
- 10:22skyscrapers and stuff. And I'm like, this isn't even
- 10:25close to his cool to Starbase as Starbase at all like, I'm, I'm
- 10:29leaving sir. Our base to go back to New York,
- 10:31to be with my family. My dad and you know my brothers
- 10:33and sister my brother and sister stuff like that and I'm like my
- 10:39was embedded at Starbase for like nine months.
- 10:41I was like nothing can beat that.
- 10:43That's the coolest thing I've ever seen in my life and you're
- 10:45going to be like a hundred yards away from everything.
- 10:48So it's big. Like you'll drive, you'll see
- 10:52you'll see high Bay as you're going down the road, and it's so
- 10:54cool like, I guess so excited and happy when I want to talk
- 10:57about it because it's Such an experience for everybody that's
- 11:02into space flight because if you know how cool this is going to
- 11:07be in how transformative this Rockets going to be and then you
- 11:12see it actually being built like a hundred yards away.
- 11:17It's it'll change your life like it changed my life.
- 11:19The first day I went down there I just like you know I had to do
- 11:23it. You know there were a few people
- 11:24that were streaming at that time and I was like this is an
- 11:28opportunity of a lifetime and I have to Take it.
- 11:30You know? So I did it.
- 11:31I did it for like nine months and then I got back here but I'm
- 11:35excited to be back in New York like I really am.
- 11:37I'm excited to be back here and I'm excited for what the future
- 11:40holds and there can be some cool stuff that will happen up here
- 11:45and I have some, I have some ideas that will be coming to
- 11:49fruition within the next few months.
- 11:51So if you're new here, by the way, make sure to subscribe to
- 11:54the channel. I'm trying to try to do a sub
- 11:56sort of like a sub train. If you're not subscribed to a
- 11:58channel, I'm trying to get to 100.
- 11:59In subs and we're really close. We're like, 88,000 something,
- 12:0388,000 160 something and trying to get to 100,000 because then I
- 12:09get that cool plaque. Then I'm like, oh cool.
- 12:11That's cool. Yeah, so that would be cool.
- 12:16So thanks if you are subscribing, thank you so much.
- 12:18And if you can like this video to, that would be great because
- 12:21it shows YouTube that actually people are watching this and it
- 12:24will help out the channel tremendously and we can keep
- 12:26doing these live shows because I love to do these live shows.
- 12:29I think they're really fun. Bring a sun umbrella.
- 12:33Yeah, sure that's the way to go. The sun umbrella is the way to
- 12:35go. I think I had a drink here, but
- 12:37apparently not. Well, I had a, I had a water
- 12:40bottle over here but apparently that's empty.
- 12:44So yeah. Sun umbrella is the way to go,
- 12:46especially if you're going to be there for a little while.
- 12:48You know, if you're going to be there for half an hour, you
- 12:51should be all right. You know, as long as you're
- 12:53protected you have a sun hat and stuff and You know, it depends
- 12:59on when you're going to, you know, like if you this show is
- 13:01brought to you by backblaze, I use back place to back up my

- 13:20data from anywhere in the world using the web app and you can
- 13:24access the files on your mobile to iOS Android apps all For this
- 13:28is the cool part. This is my favorite part.

- 15:42You go in the morning, it's not bad and if you go at night it's
- 15:45not bad. But if you go like at noon, be
- 15:47careful like that's hot. I've been there.
- 15:51I've been there plenty of times at like noon or 1:00 o'clock or
- 15:55three o'clock or something like that and it's like It is just
- 15:59brutal. Brutal, brutal brutal.
- 16:01I've been on top of mountains. You know?
- 16:03Like, I'm a tough hiked up the mountains.
- 16:05I've been in like snowstorms I've been in like all the heat
- 16:08everything else but there's nothing that can compare to
- 16:12Starbase as far as just like desolate brutality goes.
- 16:16I think that's the best way to put it.
- 16:18Desolate brutality is the best way to put Starbase, but it's
- 16:21like but it's also beautiful. It's like going to Mars.
- 16:24Like everybody wants to go to Mars, but it's going to be
- 16:27brutal. And horrible is like you you're
- 16:30not going to want to be there but also it's like hey I'm on
- 16:33Mars. This is pretty cool.
- 16:35So I kind of put that into the equation as like man.
- 16:39This is really neat but also how do we how do you equate that?
- 16:46How do you, how do you tell that to people that it's just like a
- 16:49brutal. Brutal place to be.
- 16:50But so everybody else is streams down there and everybody else
- 16:53who does any sort of Photography or videography or something on
- 16:55there. I give them 100% putos.
- 16:57Like they're just they're doing some amazing work and it's just
- 17:03it's brutal down there so just be careful.
- 17:06That's all I'm saying. It's Jeff says, I can't wait.
- 17:10Yeah I ate us beef. Jerky while watching ship. 20
- 17:13veinte has examined the morning show.
- 17:15That's the way to go. I've been, yeah, I've had so
- 17:17much beef. Jerky down there.
- 17:19I've had so much beef. Jerky it's amazing.
- 17:23So my favorite word, epic bars. Have you seen those things?
- 17:26I don't think. I have one handy.
- 17:27I have on my photography backpack around here somewhere
- 17:30and I have epic bars but they're like, you like meal bars, like
- 17:34this. Like a big beef, like a big fat
- 17:36beef jerky and I have like, buys and cranberry.
- 17:38And that's my favorite one. And I would take those down
- 17:41there and I would give them to people.
- 17:42I'm like, hey, are you guys, you know, you've been here for a
- 17:44while? Are you hungry?
- 17:45Do you need a snack? And I'll given to people and
- 17:50they were like this is like a whole meal.
- 17:52So that's what I would bring with me, is that epic bars and
- 17:57epic beef, jerky bars and just like tons of water and some, you
- 18:01know, some sweet stuff to I'd bring coffee and stuff to hated
- 18:06that I won't be there to meet. I know.
- 18:08Jeff, that would be sweet, man. That would be awesome.
- 18:10That would be amazing. I would love that, but yeah, and
- 18:14that's the thing too. I have so much fomo because ship
- 18:1724 just rolled out. We have actually, we have some
- 18:20shots from SpaceX of ship 24 rolls, Going out which is pretty
- 18:24neat. Let me show you those.
- 18:27Here's a ship 24, the ship 24 roll out which was just happened
- 18:32a little bit ago, a couple days ago and it rolled down to the
- 18:36launch site. Like excuse me, the look at that
- 18:43shot though. Like that's an amazing amazing
- 18:46shot. And these things at the top.
- 18:48I don't think anyone really knows what these are at the top
- 18:51here. What are those things?
- 18:52Things. Does anybody know what these
- 18:54are? Because they look like some way
- 18:57to communicate with SpaceX and I think their GPS of some sort or
- 19:01some sort of radio, you know, transmitter.
- 19:06So I'm not sure. I'm not sure exactly what these
- 19:09things are but that's been kind of the thing recently is, what
- 19:13are these things? What are these?
- 19:14Mysterious objects on a ship 24 but you can see, you know, as
- 19:20you can see from the air. That's the only Road you have
- 19:25right and it's like a small tiny Road as you're going down there
- 19:28it's like a mile and a half from the build site to the launch
- 19:31site and then they got shipped 24, got shipped 24.
- 19:38Down to the launch site now. So it's a pretty it's pretty
- 19:41interesting to see how fast they did this.
- 19:43And the reason, I think, the reason why they did this is
- 19:47because they know something about the FAA.
- 19:50They know something's going on in the good way lawsuit.
- 19:54Who wants to sue who Black Eagle gave me.
- 19:55We'll talk about that a little bit.
- 19:57Will your mic is very suddenly can you turn up the volume?
- 19:59Just a bit. I turned it up a little bit, but
- 20:03yeah, if I'm if I'm too low. Yeah, try to turn me up on your
- 20:06own, if you can. Ilan said, Tim's interview, they
- 20:09are either sensors or communication.
- 20:10I know that's what I saw that too.
- 20:12And I was like, but I didn't know what kind of sensors they
- 20:16are, you know, I did. He say it exactly what they were
- 20:20because I may have to go back and watch that because I
- 20:23remember him saying that, but I don't remember what they were
- 20:27for if he mentioned what they were for.
- 20:29I feel like 24 could would fail orbital test but I think it
- 20:34would get to orbit but re-entry, I don't know.
- 20:37Hey, Michael Maxie what? Welcome back.
- 20:42Let's see if I bypass a week, a nice.
- 20:44My laptop is at max volume, and you are still pretty silent,
- 20:47huh? Weird weird.
- 20:49Well, I don't know what to tell you.
- 20:52I don't know what to tell you because everybody else is here
- 20:55and be fine and you're not, it might be a you thing not to be
- 20:59that guy. I'm not going to be that guy but
- 21:01it might be a you thing. So ship 24 was moved down to the
- 21:05pad, right. But I've done the launch and bit
- 21:06the launching pad down to the launching pad down to the lodge
- 21:10site at the launch pad. And I think it's been nine
- 21:15months, right? So it's been nine months since
- 21:18they moved any ship down there. Since any ships been down there
- 21:20for testing and why do they do this?
- 21:23Now, there's a there's there's one thing that I can think of is
- 21:28that they know what's going on with the FAA.
- 21:32They know that something good this happening with the FAA and
- 21:37there's a possibility that a really big possibility that the
- 21:41FAA is going. Hess the environmental study
- 21:46down there and that SpaceX will be able to launch with some
- 21:50concessions. We're not sure what those
- 21:51concessions are. But we'll find that out sometime
- 21:54tomorrow and I hope the the I hope you find out tomorrow kind
- 22:01of soon. So we can kind of move forward
- 22:03with this because if SpaceX is going to start testing ship 24
- 22:07as like a little slot like a little Pez dispenser slot in it.
- 22:12For Starling satellites. So we know what the cargo is
- 22:15going to be on this thing. When they do the orbital flight
- 22:18test, they're going to launch ship 24.
- 22:22With with the Pez dispenser on it, you know?
- 22:25And some starlings headlights will pop out when they get the
- 22:28orbit and if they can prove that this is the thing in this
- 22:32actually works, this is going to be a game changer for strongly
- 22:35because now they have a reason to launch these things all the
- 22:37time. You know, they can do tests in
- 22:39all these tests could have star links in them and they when they
- 22:44were talking about this on Tim's video, the the tip look that
- 22:48big, you know, like the cargo bay didn't look that.
- 22:51But also perspective is a huge thing with this thing too
- 22:55because this cargo bay is huge in comparison.
- 23:01It's like the size of a car, you know.
- 23:03Like it's like the size of a big like a bus, you know.
- 23:06It I think it's huge. It's 30 feet around.
- 23:09The whole ship is 30 feet around nine meters around, that's
- 23:12gigantic. So this door even though it
- 23:14looks kind of. Like when I saw it, I was like,
- 23:16looks like you can barely fit out of there but it says it's
- 23:20like a Pez dispenser at all. I shoot them out, you know, pop
- 23:22them out when they get to orbit. So the fact that it's going down
- 23:28there, I think that's one indication that we can see that
- 23:32SpaceX is ready for the FAA to say.
- 23:36Alright, let's go, let's do this and the FAA is ready to tell
- 23:40SpaceX hey we're ready for you, some concessions of course.
- 23:45But you know some endangered species you have to worry about.
- 23:48You have to tell us about some things that are happening you
- 23:51have To make sure that you monitor some of these birds that
- 23:54are in danger down there, that sea turtles, things like that.
- 23:57But there are some there are sort of like a sort of like a
- 24:01underlying tension locally and that area save RGV.
- 24:08There's a couple other environmental groups down there
- 24:10that are kind of pushing back about around all this stuff,
- 24:14right? So they're pushing back on
- 24:19SpaceX to pushing back in the FAA.
- 24:21Say there's some religious groups down there, to some local
- 24:25religious groups that are that pray at the, that actually pray
- 24:28at the Rio Grande River, Rio Grande river.
- 24:32And when they closed off the beach, these local people can't
- 24:37do the religion stuff down there.
- 24:42So that's a thing that SpaceX has to be wary of is that if
- 24:46you're stopping people from going to the beach, if you're
- 24:50stopping beach access for people, Pulled that are doing
- 24:52it. For religious reasons, that
- 24:55could be a huge problem in the future and there that might be
- 24:59one of the concessions that SpaceX makes in the future and
- 25:03local, local religious groups. Native groups have said that
- 25:07they go to the Rio Grande like they go through down this
- 25:11highway the we're looking at right now where SpaceX Starship
- 25:13is they go down this road. They go to the beach the beach
- 25:17access Boca Chica Beach the swinger, right?
- 25:21And they go to the Rio Grande and they pray for rain at the
- 25:26river. So when it's a drought,
- 25:29something like that, these people go down there and they
- 25:31need to they need to have access to this area.
- 25:34And if they don't have access to that area SpaceX, could be a
- 25:38little bit of trouble and they could have a lawsuit against
- 25:41them, if they don't help these people out, if they don't open
- 25:47up the beach to them. So, That's a possibility.
- 25:51Right? Monty says, volume is better
- 25:55now, will thank you. It's so weird.
- 25:56Some videos are super loud. Others are almost inaudible
- 25:58another day. No, FAA delay chard.
- 26:00Yeah, I know. And that's the other thing, too.
- 26:02Like, they would have announced it by now.
- 26:04I think, if because everything is checked off, let's take a
- 26:06look at where we're at right now with the FAA to everything is in
- 26:09progress. Still everything still in
- 26:11progress, but all these are checked off.
- 26:15One, two, three, four things are checked off, but in progress is
- 26:20Is the main thing is everything still so they have one more day.
- 26:24They'll probably announce it at about noon tomorrow because
- 26:26that's the way that the government works.
- 26:28Usually it's about noonish when they do these things.
- 26:31So expect about this time tomorrow with a push for the FAA
- 26:36and maybe we'll do a countdown or something on the show.
- 26:39We will do a countdown timer and make sure the FAA, you know,
- 26:42when when the announcement happens like will be right there
- 26:44with them, so we can get together the information as soon
- 26:47as possible, but it looks like right here.
- 26:48The FAA is like, Like let's go. Let's go.
- 26:54You know, let's do this but is it possible?
- 26:58You know that SpaceX gets pushed back another month.
- 27:01I don't think so. I think they're good because
- 27:03ship 24 is down there. I think that's the major.
- 27:06You've always had what it takes to make it happen.

- 28:07they're going to be doing this Sierra Club is soon, Cameron
- 28:11County over the closing of Boca Chica Beach so much it may
- 28:14include space. Like Starbase is a co-defendant.
- 28:16Yeah that yeah totally. All these all these
- 28:20environmental groups are the save RGV Etc.
- 28:22They're they're like constantly in legal battles with SpaceX or
- 28:27while Cameron County. I should say and Texas because
- 28:30all text is beaches are public, right?
- 28:33And you should have You should have the right to access those
- 28:42beaches at any time, right? No.
- 28:45Private beaches. If it's a public beach, you
- 28:47should have access at all times. But we have road closures via
- 28:51SpaceX one for tomorrow, possibly between 10 and 10, 10
- 28:56a.m. to 10 p.m. So that being said, road
- 28:59closures for all day and all night, that stops people's taxes
- 29:03constitutional right from going The beach, right?
- 29:07So that it's public land you should have access to that
- 29:09beach, no matter what. That's why people are constantly
- 29:13in lawsuits. Constantly battling Cameron
- 29:16County in the state of Texas and their suit, you know, they say
- 29:21they're suing them numerous times in there in legal battles
- 29:25with them because they don't have access to this beach in the
- 29:27like I was saying before. There's some there's some
- 29:31religious groups down there and there's some some native groups.
- 29:35That are just like look man this is this.
- 29:38We were here before you were what are you doing?
- 29:40Like why are you so why's he closing off our religious
- 29:42rights. So it's it's a tough one for
- 29:46SpaceX to because they're like, man, we just want to build a
- 29:48rocket to go to Mars, you know, like we know this is important.
- 29:53Yeah, so that's the that's one of the things and I found this
- 29:55check this out. I found this article on Space to
- 29:58space.com to Sierra Club and others have filed suit against
- 30:01Texas. Officials over Boca Chica
- 30:02closures during Starship SpaceX Starship activities.
- 30:06A judge is expected to hear a lawsuit June first.
- 30:10Check this out. This is insane.
- 30:12Like the day after the FAA goes cool.
- 30:16You can launch a judge is about to hear a lawsuit June 1st
- 30:19concerned access restrictions to the South Texas.
- 30:22Each amid space activities for the Starship program.
- 30:26So that's why I was talking about before I don't want to
- 30:29butcher this name. Comer Crudo tribe of Texas and
- 30:32nonprofit save RGV in the Sierra Club.
- 30:35Be joined together in a lawsuit against the Texas.
- 30:36General land office, Texas land commissioner George P, bush and
- 30:40Cameron County in Texas for closing Boca.
- 30:41Chica be periodically for SpaceX operations and Starship tests.
- 30:46So restricting access to beach to the public beach as the
- 30:50defendants have done by Lisa. Texas Constitution, and that's
- 30:55what we have right there. Disputed Boca Chica Beach is
- 30:57just down the road. So in kind of, I got to show
- 31:03you. So this is a, this kind of a
- 31:05picture. We see if SpaceX has one that's
- 31:08closer to where the beach actually.
- 31:10It's kind of you can kind of see it from this picture.
- 31:12This is from their Twitter account from SpaceX is Twitter
- 31:14account. So that's the launch site in the
- 31:16top, right? And about maybe Quarter mile,
- 31:23you can park in the side of the road right there, so you can
- 31:25park in the side of the road, on the right side of the road, or
- 31:26the left side of the road and you can go to the beach.
- 31:31You can literally just like, if you were at the build site or at
- 31:34the launch site here, you can literally just walk down at the
- 31:36beach. People do it all the time, I
- 31:37would do it. I would do with a backpack of
- 31:39camera gear on so I can get the shots from the dunes.
- 31:42So I had like this big, I can't it's over there and it's like
- 31:45full of camera gear. I would get it.
- 31:47But they have you know, they have the access to the beach in
- 31:53like you can literally just walk down there and you can go to the
- 31:56beach or You know, if they closed it down, you have no
- 32:00access for miles of this thing. So from about up the road about
- 32:0890 to the right, probably like a mile, maybe maybe less depending
- 32:13on where they close the road down.
- 32:14But some days, it's closer some days, it's further away,
- 32:17depending on what they're doing. So the so you have no access to
- 32:24the road to even get to the beach, right?
- 32:27So if there Moving something down the road or if they're
- 32:29doing testing it could be a 12-hour day and things like
- 32:33this. This space.com article Sierra
- 32:35Club in 2013 according to Sierra Club statement the Texas
- 32:38legislature, amended the Texas open beaches act to allow space
- 32:41flight operations to close beach access.
- 32:43Then in 2018 the club added Basics, build a rock facility.
- 32:461,500 feet 460 meters from the beach is water edge.
- 32:51So 2013, statute change conflicts with a state
- 32:55constitution, which Texas voters of men in 2009.
- 32:57And by 77% majority to guarantee the right to free and open
- 33:02access to public beaches. So that's what they're talking
- 33:04about. Right here, it's the public
- 33:06access to the beach and it's a lawsuit that's happening.
- 33:08June 1st, the day after the FAA is going to approve, hopefully
- 33:13the the SpaceX launch facility at Starbase.
- 33:16So it's it's crazy that this is all happening on their pushing
- 33:20back so hard against SpaceX here which I understand, you know,
- 33:23they have the right to do this, this is America which you know,
- 33:27in some cases Is you're like, hmm, it's America.
- 33:29So, like you have all the freedoms you want, but also, you
- 33:32also have the freedom. If your freedoms are taken away
- 33:35to try to get them back, you know, to try to get the back to
- 33:38go to, you know, go to a lawyer and then go to court and then
- 33:42sue, whoever is doing you wrong, and get your freedoms back if
- 33:47you if there were taken away from you.
- 33:49So I understand where they're coming from.
- 33:52And I understand because I've been down there that it is a
- 33:55very, very Pristine place you know SpaceX wasn't there, it
- 34:01would be beautiful nothing there you 20 miles down the road to
- 34:07you know the most peaceful Beach you've ever been to and people
- 34:10were like ragging on the beach on Reddit and they're saying
- 34:13like all sorts of horrible things about the beach and I'm
- 34:15like man if it's actually kind of nice because there's nobody
- 34:18there is there anybody there? Sure baby says the launch site
- 34:23is only 460 meters of a short. Yeah it's close it's super
- 34:26close. You can just walk Right down
- 34:28there. It's not a it's not a far walk.
- 34:30Like you're not going to get winded.
- 34:31I guess not that far. You'd be surprised how many
- 34:37people don't really care about the launch pad and just want to
- 34:39be peaceful? However, peaceful, retirement,
- 34:42Roger. Am I agree with you.
- 34:44They, I agree with you that I was in.
- 34:47So when I was living in Brownsville I had to get us hot
- 34:49spot. So I could stream from Starbase
- 34:53and I went to AT&T the AT&T store The person that was
- 35:00working there. She asked me what I was going to
- 35:02be using it for because they kind of had the gauge.
- 35:04You know, is it is this the right device for me Etc.
- 35:08So I was like, oh yeah, I'm going to be streaming it
- 35:09Starbase but it's SpaceX and she said, oh, what's that?
- 35:15And I said, what are you effing? Kidding me.
- 35:21There's no way. You don't know what SpaceX is.
- 35:23I'd like my face must have been like Really.
- 35:33Just do. You don't know what SpaceX has
- 35:36come on. Do you really not know what
- 35:38SpaceX is? What are you doing?
- 35:42But she was really sweet like she was super sweet so I told
- 35:46her I was like yeah it's a rocket facility at the end of
- 35:48Highway for Boca Chica Beach. I need a stream there and then
- 35:54she was like, oh okay, I don't know.
- 35:55Even know if we have connection down there.
- 35:57I was like I think you do. I think AT&T is the one that has
- 35:59like the best connection down there?
- 36:01So she likes you hooked me up but she had no idea and I said I
- 36:06was like we should take your you know she told me she has kids
- 36:08and stuff and they would be it would be cool to see Iraq and I
- 36:10was like, yeah, just take your kids down.
- 36:11There would be cool. So about a month later I was
- 36:14having troubles with my with my device.
- 36:15I brought it back in to fix it and she she was there again.
- 36:20If she said, I went down to SpaceX and it was so cool and I
- 36:24was like, really do you live? I was like, do you live in
- 36:26Brownsville? I asked her, that's the first
- 36:27time she said. Yeah, I was like you don't know
- 36:30and it's I really like 20 minutes away.
- 36:33I was like, how do you not know that's there but some people are
- 36:36oblivious. They don't even care.
- 36:38It's amazing. But some people, you know,
- 36:40there's a lot of people I used to live next to like 45 SpaceX
- 36:44employees at my old apartment, and there were super cool.
- 36:46People, they never told me any secrets, but they would give me
- 36:50a little, like, wink, wink nudge nudge things, and I'd hang out
- 36:53with them. And I went to a barbecue with a
- 36:56couple of them. One time we had like it a
- 36:57barbecue pit at the, at the apartment complex and they were
- 37:00super cool. People so as I was pretty
- 37:03pumped, there were cool cool dudes.
- 37:05You know like really nice people really good families to super
- 37:09nice. Yeah, it's it's a it's a very
- 37:14interesting place down there. You probably already said but
- 37:19have they announced if the environmental assessment past
- 37:22not yet? Nothing yet.
- 37:23It's supposed to happen tomorrow so we'll see.
- 37:26We'll see within the next 24 hours of this going to happen.
- 37:29I think it's going to because why would they They put ship 24
- 37:32down there if they had no intentions of launching it and
- 37:35if they didn't kind of know what's going on with the FAA.
- 37:38So they, you know, people talk to people SpaceX, has people to
- 37:42talk to the FAA because they've been working with the FAA for
- 37:45ever, you know, they've been working with the FAA forever so
- 37:49they have ties there. They have some people that they
- 37:51can probably talk to and they're probably like, we can't tell you
- 37:55anything but it's looking. Okay, blink twice.
- 37:59If yes, you know, like one of those things like, You know, one
- 38:06of those kind of things like, oh, yeah, we know.
- 38:08So, I think what happened is, they got wind of of, you know,
- 38:13what's going on with the FAA. So they move ship 24 down.
- 38:16There started testing on it, some heat tiles fell off, it
- 38:21happens a the ship 20, you know, happened to all the other ships
- 38:24to like he tells fell off a bunch of them so they're still
- 38:26working on that and if the heat tiles don't make it through the
- 38:31re-entry. I think that's okay because even
- 38:35Elan said, like man, is this going to be a thing, you know,
- 38:39is this going to be a thing right away?
- 38:40Like a we're going to get this, right?
- 38:41No, he said, no. Not even like we're expecting
- 38:44the worst, but hoping for the best.
- 38:46So you know hopefully they get this.
- 38:50Hope they get that all figured out because I would love to see
- 38:52them land off the shore of Kauai you with like a fully intact
- 38:57Starship instead of it burning up.
- 38:59You know, instead of the plasma just like ripping that Stainless
- 39:03steel apart. I mean, I think it'd be great to
- 39:05see it land off Kawaii in that in the the naval grounds there.
- 39:11I think that'd be really cool to see two years ago today since
- 39:15demo to launch PKA right there. No, I wait.
- 39:18I was at a crew to not demo2 and there's a couple, so, I'm
- 39:23everything. So, let me, let me kind of kind
- 39:26of add on to that everything that everybody does for this
- 39:29channel, if you like this video, if you're new here, Thank you so
- 39:33much for coming. And also, if you could
- 39:34subscribe, that'd be really great what help out the channel
- 39:37tremendously. We're trying to get to 100,000
- 39:38subscribers where eighty eight thousand one hundred and sixty
- 39:42ish, something like that. So we're really close.
- 39:44And I've been doing it for three and a half years, so I'm going
- 39:47to continue doing it. Continue doing the channel, but
- 39:51if we could get to 100,000 Subs, a be amazing.
- 39:53And if we could get to, I don't know.
- 39:55We're 74 likes right now. Can we get to 80?
- 39:58That would be pretty cool too. And then we can kind of boost up
- 40:01the signal of SpaceX and the FAA stuff, and all this, all these
- 40:05lawsuits and stuff, they'll be really cool.
- 40:08Is Boca Chica Wildlife Refuge Federal if.
- 40:11So it can be closed, just like Cape Canaveral, National
- 40:14Seashore does for NASA all the time with no problem?
- 40:19Well, that's the problem. Because it's, it's Texas in
- 40:24Texas has and I'm not a legal expert.
- 40:27So, Texas has in their constitution that all the
- 40:31beaches are supposed to be available at all times the
- 40:34people. So I don't, I don't know the To
- 40:37that I should that would make sense.
- 40:42I don't know if it's Federal in that if it's a federal Wildlife
- 40:44Refuge, I should look that up though, that's a really good
- 40:47question. And really SpaceX tried the
- 40:50harder way. Build first, and try to get the
- 40:52permit second, if there wasn't issues with Boca Chica there
- 40:55would be issues with Mexico. There are you know, and with
- 41:00Kennedy Space Center to, they read around thinking for that
- 41:03chat, that was really cool, but with Kennedy Space Center, they
- 41:07Ready. Have, you know, they have the
- 41:12ability via the, the FAA to launch their, you know, not the
- 41:18FAA launch license but the environmental Isis.
- 41:21Wow, chart. Thank you so much.
- 41:22Thanks for the updates. Will you are my favorite source
- 41:24of SpaceX info? Thank you chart.
- 41:26That's amazing. That's really cool.
- 41:28Thank you so much for the five dollar, super Chad.
- 41:30So what else? And also like the likes?
- 41:33And subscribes the, the comments, the chance, everything
- 41:37helps YouTube. But everything that I get from
- 41:39this channel, I put back into it.
- 41:41So like I don't make any money from this channel, like I'm I'm
- 41:44not making any money like I'm literally losing money by doing
- 41:47this channel. Like, I could be doing something
- 41:49right now, this like making me money, but I lose money from a
- 41:52channel but I love to do it. So anything that goes into the
- 41:55channel from you guys, I put right back in and then I put
- 42:01that towards either future rocket launches where I'll go
- 42:04and cover something at Kennedy Space.
- 42:07A center or, you know, one Starship finally launches
- 42:10someday who knows when that it could be a long time from now.
- 42:14But you know, the the SpaceX launch program it's kind of up
- 42:18in the air at this point. We don't know when but they
- 42:22launched all the time. Down at the cape they'd launch
- 42:24all the time but 39a. So SLS is coming out to that's
- 42:29going to be cool. Like SLS is pretty cool but I
- 42:31put everything back into the show.
- 42:34So everybody who's Super Chat? Everybody who's Picard
- 42:37everybody. Who's like the video?
- 42:39All the chats, everything. We're almost at 100 likes.
- 42:42What the heck just happened? 94 likes six more and we got
- 42:45100. So all that goes right back into
- 42:47the show, right, back into the show and then some my paycheck,
- 42:51my regular paycheck, I put back into the show, to a gas money to
- 42:54go down to Starbase, you know, all that stuff.
- 42:57When I was down there, all of it goes right back into the show.
- 43:00So thank you, everybody, who's just being here, you know, like,
- 43:03you're amazing. We have 101 likes.
- 43:05Thank you so much. So Wow, that's really cool.
- 43:09So there is a, there's a few other things that happened.
- 43:12So there's other lawsuits that have happened along the way to,
- 43:17you know, there's let me show you this article from inside,
- 43:22climate news to. This is a, this is from an old
- 43:24one. This is a little bit older like,
- 43:28couple days ago, about a week ago.
- 43:30But I want to show you this because it's telling, there we
- 43:34go. Elon Musk, Elon Musk, seal on
- 43:37my, say his name wrong. I'll time must private.
- 43:39Space company has evolved into a sprawling industrial complex but
- 43:42concerns are increasing about Beach closures noise and
- 43:44potential harm to threatened species.
- 43:47One day last month, one month serious, the chief of the curry.
- 43:51So I'm going to butcher it. Coma Crudo tribe of Texas and
- 43:56two companies. Headed to Boca, Chica Village
- 43:58Bayside Community, camera County at the southernmost.
- 44:01Tip of the lone star's, it is far out in the middle of
- 44:04nowhere. Also the Mexico border.
- 44:06It's like a mile away from Mexico border.
- 44:07It's really freaking close. Boca chica means little mouth
- 44:10and Spanish and where the freshwater.
- 44:12The Rio Grande trickle into the Gulf of Mexico.
- 44:15And then they say, Lower Rio Grande Valley.
- 44:18Wildlife Refuge National Wildlife Refuge National
- 44:20Wildlife Refuge. The river is a sacred place for
- 44:23praying. That's when we start calling for
- 44:25the reins and we go to the river because that's where the rains
- 44:29come from. So people are they pray?
- 44:33You know, they they have the Judges freedom to do that in the
- 44:36United States. They told us the SpaceX was
- 44:38testing a rocket engine and access to the beach was
- 44:40restricted for safety reasons. I asked them to let us go to the
- 44:42beach. He said, and even quoted the
- 44:44American Indian, Religious Freedom Act to get access
- 44:47because it was a sacred day for us the officers.
- 44:49However, still wouldn't let them through.
- 44:53I've been there they kicked me out when I was filming SpaceX
- 44:58and they were doing tests, they were going to do tests and
- 45:00they're like, okay you gotta leave they didn't really kick
- 45:02you out. They just say like you many
- 45:03gotta leave and then you're like, okay, cool.
- 45:05Yeah, and then, you know, the, the the fact that, you know,
- 45:12these people were like, hey, we have a religious right to come
- 45:15down here because this is where we pray, this is our spot.
- 45:18It's like going to like say if you go to a church, you know,
- 45:21like sure you can pray anywhere. Like, you can just pray in your
- 45:24bedroom. You can pray like in your
- 45:26kitchen. You can pray as you're walking
- 45:27down the street, you and bubblegum smoke a cigarette,
- 45:29whatever you want to do. But there's a certain place
- 45:32where people want to do the It's tough right myself.
- 45:37I'm not religious. I know I know how it works but
- 45:41I'm not religious myself but if people want to go to a certain
- 45:43place it's going to a mecha going to a certain object or a
- 45:47certain place to pray, they should be able to do that.
- 45:50According to the Constitution of the United States, according to
- 45:55the Texas Constitution Etc. So these people were mad tired
- 46:00of blocked access to the only public beach in the area.
- 46:02The tribe along with two local Herbs have filed suit against
- 46:06the county. The Texas General land office
- 46:09and his commissioner George P push over the road closures
- 46:11during SpaceX operations restricting, access to a public
- 46:14beach violates, the Texas Constitution, the Coalition of
- 46:17plaintiff said in announcing the legal action.
- 46:20So if you go to hear Sierra Club, this is the whole thing.
- 46:24They're suing everyone I don't want to donate but some people
- 46:27do. That's cool.
- 46:29So it shows that they are suing them.
- 46:32The casa closure Highway for and Boca Chica be true.
- 46:35Unconstitutional. It have the effect of robbing a
- 46:37local residents of a Sacred Space when they need it to
- 46:40commune to reflect to breathe and have a good time.
- 46:43Everything happens. There, Boca Chica we Beach was
- 46:46like them. Whether it was a wild place
- 46:48where we generations of family, spent our quality time.
- 46:51So I'm going to, I'm going to stop this right here with this
- 46:54quote, it's a wild place. It was a wild place where we
- 46:59generation the family spent our quality time, right?
- 47:02So let's go to the Reddit thread.
- 47:05That I found this sort of this whole thing on I guess.
- 47:11So this is the first comment right here.
- 47:13It's hard to see because it's kind of smushed, I guess a
- 47:15narrow strip of sand the vacationers regularly wreck with
- 47:18off-road vehicles. Constitutes as beach.
- 47:21Now said the first comment, dude, it's a beach.
- 47:26People do drive on the beach. It's not a narrow strip of land,
- 47:29okay? It's a beach, it's miles long.
- 47:32It's not just like a little tiny piece of Beach.
- 47:35Each right? It's not just like a little bit
- 47:36of sand next to the, to the, to the gulf.
- 47:39But it's a big place. It's long, either way, there's
- 47:44miles of beach there. It's not like it's not a small
- 47:47strip, a narrow strip of sand, their vacation is regularly
- 47:50wreck with off-road vehicles. That's true too.
- 47:52They drive their off-road vehicles down there.
- 47:54That's told it's okay to. You can do that in Texas.
- 47:58So okay, you do that. Also save RGV, you can't have
- 48:03your cake and eat a to do you. To protect sensitive, intertidal
- 48:08ecosystem, which would constitute Banning.
- 48:11The most destructive forces of all people trampling about with
- 48:14their off-road vehicles. I've seen trucks, get stuck,
- 48:18I've seen it, I've seen it happen.
- 48:21You know, I've seen, I've seen quads, get stuck side-by-sides
- 48:25get stuck, I've seen people just like gun it through the like
- 48:29through the beach, got it through the sand, and just like,
- 48:31sand, kicks up everywhere. And you're like, what are you
- 48:34doing, dude? I Some guy I was filming near
- 48:38the dunes and some like, like a younger two younger guys, in a
- 48:44truck drove past me and then. So there's there's access
- 48:48straight away which is pretty hard.
- 48:49I guess I've never driven my car out there because I was like,
- 48:51I'm not gonna get stuck. I'm not going to be that guy.
- 48:54So these guys drove out in. There's like a little, there's a
- 48:57turn-off on the left where you can just kind of like gun it
- 48:59through the sand and if you make it through cool.
- 49:02But if not you're stuck. So these guys got stuck stuck.
- 49:05Like, they're not getting out and they looked like, I was
- 49:08right behind them. And they looked at me and
- 49:09they're like, hey, can you help us?
- 49:11I got a freaking, I get like a super Sedan like like I could
- 49:15help you but I like how, you know, like what am I going to
- 49:18do? So like my sedan can't pull you
- 49:22out. Like I can't pull you out.
- 49:23So I was nice and I went up to the to, the gate guard at SpaceX
- 49:28and I was like, hey these guys are stuck in the sand.
- 49:29What should they do? Can we, you know, can you know,
- 49:33is there anybody around the can pull?
- 49:35I'm out. And the guy, the gate guard was
- 49:37like, we can't do it, you know, for legal reasons, or liability
- 49:40reasons or whatever. And I was like, yeah, that's
- 49:41cool. I get it.
- 49:42But eventually Somebody came down with another truck and
- 49:47pulled him out, but people do kick ups and all the time in the
- 49:50dunes. People walk all over them all
- 49:52the time. Like there's there's tracks.
- 49:55You can see like little past that people have built just from
- 49:58their feet, you know, just walking like any place else, you
- 50:01know, he does walk along the sand and it just pushes things
- 50:04down, pushing things out of the way, people walk over the dunes
- 50:07people built like a little chair there, like a little bench with
- 50:10a, like a little. It's like a little wooden sign.
- 50:13I put taking pictures of it as like, Assigned for SpaceX, you
- 50:17know, it's like in in support of SpaceX but like, people are
- 50:25pretty destructive down there. They are good, you know, as good
- 50:29as people can be, but it is a wild place and it's kind of like
- 50:33you can do anything you want on there.
- 50:34No one's going to know you know like no one's no one goes down
- 50:36there to check on you so that's the cops like Patrol every once
- 50:39in a while but it's not like they stay on the beach and
- 50:43there's no like Beach, like a parking lot.
- 50:48We have to pay parking or anything like that.
- 50:50There's not like on South Padre Island where if you go to the
- 50:53Amphitheatre and those beaches you have to pay a 12 dollar fee
- 50:57to get in in a might go up or down, but you have to pay some
- 51:00money to get in and therefore you have access to this beach
- 51:03and it's pretty good, you know, in the that money, it's a state
- 51:07park. So they take that money and they
- 51:09make sure that everything is cleaned up and they hire people,
- 51:11but Boca Chica Beach, not even close.
- 51:14It's a wild. A wild place.
- 51:16So so you know, vacationers regularly wreck with off-road
- 51:22vehicles constitute as beach now but it isn't it is it's not it's
- 51:27not huge, you know I'm saying and it's not I would say
- 51:33compared to other beaches. It would be narrow but it's out
- 51:35there. It's all relevant.
- 51:37You know. So is a narrow strip.
- 51:40It's a long might be a long narrow strip but yeah it's a
- 51:43pretty Long Beach. Nothing like Florida beaches but
- 51:47it's yeah it's pretty big and they do record with off-road
- 51:51vehicles but it is a beach you know.
- 51:54I think it's kind of hard to say it's as does it constitute as a
- 51:57beach now? Yeah.
- 51:57It's a beach. I mean it's on the Gulf of
- 51:59Mexico's false and it's a Beach. So they have they have a good
- 52:05point though. With this guaranteed bank beach
- 52:09access, which let's be completely honest.
- 52:11Here simply means resumption of said, destructive forces.
- 52:14So basically, you have to say, like, do you have unfettered
- 52:17access to this beach or like, is there are there going to be
- 52:22people here? That will stop you from going
- 52:25down there? So yeah, so you can clean it up.
- 52:30You can do whatever you want, but people still need access to
- 52:34that thing. So, You know, it's a Texas
- 52:37Constitution people, people are upset about it and I understand
- 52:40why, you know, it's there, it's the religious right to to, you
- 52:45know, do their do the religious stuff there.
- 52:48So Sierra Club we grow roots in the dunes and Waters of Boca
- 52:52Chica family. Traditions have had have been
- 52:54maintained for decades until SpaceX so they have a they have
- 52:58a connection to this area, you know, until space is now beach.
- 53:02Access is a gamble. Do the SpaceX calendar taking
- 53:05Top priority with governing bodies.
- 53:08Well SpaceX brings in millions and millions of dollars and
- 53:11people and like is as bad as bad as it is.
- 53:14You know, people that are just going down there to have a good
- 53:17time or like have a haven't experienced.
- 53:21They aren't bringing in millions of millions of dollars per
- 53:24month, you know, they're not paying hundreds or thousands of
- 53:27people to work there. So I can understand why the
- 53:30local Commissioners and staff. Say yes Basics, you can do what
- 53:34you want, you know, like Will support you SpaceX.
- 53:36It's cool. So I can understand why they
- 53:39would do that. 100% because, you know, it's business as usual
- 53:44because it's got government's business basically.
- 53:46So how are they going to be money?
- 53:47They're going to make money from SpaceX.
- 53:48However, they like they don't make any money from people just
- 53:51driving down to the beach. Then I make any money at all.
- 53:53So having access to that beach. Totally cool.
- 53:57But it's a tough one man. This is a tough one.
- 54:04But I mean it's a gamble, they say, but there's also this You
- 54:10know, you just look this up on the website, I've actually known
- 54:13people that have gone to, to SpaceX like this is the the road
- 54:16closures, if you will for the Starbase site.
- 54:20And I've known people that have gone to Starbase not known about
- 54:23the road closures that day. Didn't know that there was any
- 54:25sort of testing and they they're just like wait why can't I go
- 54:29down to the beach and I met with people like at the freaking
- 54:33facility and then like why can't I go to the beach?
- 54:35So I'm like oh they're testing this giant rocket on there and
- 54:38if something happens, Could be bad news for everybody around.
- 54:42So not a good idea to go down there anyway and they're like,
- 54:45well, I just want to go party and I'm like, well, you can
- 54:48sorry. So I'm like, well, sorry man,
- 54:51you can't really party right now.
- 54:53You are with everybody else here where we're just like hanging
- 54:57out by the production site, waiting for something to happen,
- 54:59because you can't really go past that some point.
- 55:03So but people were upset, you know, rightfully so because they
- 55:07don't know anything about SpaceX, they don't know what's
- 55:08going on. And I told them like oh yeah, go
- 55:11to Cameron County, TX dot gov and look up space X and then you
- 55:15can see the road closures and they're like road closures.
- 55:18So even people that live there, don't understand how what's
- 55:21going on. So maybe it's a more of a
- 55:25Communications issue as well. So we'll see what happens in the
- 55:29future though but if Sierra Club Sue's them and they you know
- 55:32they stopped all access or they stop closing the beach or the
- 55:37sub closing the road for testing SpaceX.
- 55:40I have to pause everything for a while even if they do get the
- 55:43FAA approval tomorrow. So we will see man.
- 55:47Michael Maxie says the group neglected and notify, the county
- 55:51that wanted to perform religious right on Boca Chica Beach, a
- 55:54public demonstration requires a permanent, that's true too.
- 55:58But if it's if it's just them if it's not a demonstration if it's
- 56:02just them going to a sacred Place does that constitute a No,
- 56:10is it like a ritual? You know a public demonstration
- 56:13is that that? Or if they just go down there
- 56:15and they want to pray, you know, that and then might be
- 56:18different, you know, I don't I don't know what the laws are
- 56:20there in Texas for religious sort of demonstrations if it
- 56:25would be. But is it a demonstration?
- 56:28Or is it a, is it a religious ritual?
- 56:31You know, so you know that I think this a toss-up jimjam
- 56:36says, question there must be alternative to heat house for
- 56:38SpaceX Starship. It doesn't work.
- 56:40Effectively there must be something else.
- 56:42Right? Well, I think they're doing the
- 56:47best they can with what they have and the heat tiles seem to
- 56:51be. They seem to be good but keeping
- 56:54them on. The Starship seems to be the
- 56:56problem at this point and I'm not sure how they would fix
- 56:59that. I wish I wish I was an
- 57:01engineering Wiz and I would just be like, hey, Ilan, guess what?
- 57:05Call him up and be like, hey, hey buddy, guess what?
- 57:08Hey, Ilan. Guess what buddy?
- 57:09No. They did it.
- 57:11Hey I could fix your heat tiles for you.
- 57:12What about this? Give me like a million bucks.
- 57:15You know. They'll be cool.
- 57:16But yeah, I think yeah. I think the I don't know what
- 57:24they got to do. I hope they work though, I hope
- 57:26that he tells do work. Super Chat, pod cast.
- 57:28Hello, what's up Super Chat pod cast?
- 57:31That's pretty like that's a pretty Meta name, Super Chat pod
- 57:38cast and is that like a YouTube only super YouTube, only
- 57:42podcast. Because that's pretty cool.
- 57:44Short baby says, rocket Ranch, help clean the beach recently.
- 57:47You don't rocket ranches, amazing, man.
- 57:49Rocket Ranch is a great place. I never even got to go there.
- 57:51When I was there, I never took the opportunity because I was
- 57:54always like I was working all the time.
- 57:59Like I never really took a break.
- 58:01Like I would, I would go to space X in the morning.
- 58:04Shoot video, come back, edited do a live show, all the stuff,
- 58:08but I never had the opportunity, which I should have done to go
- 58:10to to go there, but I never did which unfortunately, you know,
- 58:16that's kind of a, that's kind of a mess on my part.
- 58:18I should have went run Trader, what's up?
- 58:22Do you think s24 will fly blind? Boy 64.
- 58:28I hope so II. Don't know.
- 58:30That's the other thing to they move the header tank, or they
- 58:33have a different header tank in there.
- 58:35They have a few other things that are reinforced body and
- 58:39they have a few other things that they did to it.
- 58:41So it looks like that's what they're going for but I saw in
- 58:44Tim Dodds interview you can kind of see Ilan, contemplating
- 58:49something. When Tim mentioned something
- 58:51about like, is this going to be the one to fly and elon's kind
- 58:55of like, you know, I don't know. Like he kind of he doesn't
- 58:59really answer the question. He doesn't really Dodge it but I
- 59:02think he may have had something else going on to, you know, in
- 59:05his head because that that's kind of the the time when he was
- 59:09he started thinking about like the fins and stuff in the nose
- 59:13and things like that. So I think it might have been
- 59:16just like, he something triggered in his head.
- 59:18He's like, ooh, I got an idea but maybe he was just like, I
- 59:21don't really want to answer that question because we don't really
- 59:23know, you know, he wants it to fly ship, 24 would be great to
- 59:27fly but Maybe he's not 100% confident in it, but it looks
- 59:31like they're, you know, they're ramping up everything to fly
- 59:33ship 24 which would be really great.
- 59:35I think that'd be really cool. What do you think standing?
- 59:37Fires will begin. Okay.
- 59:38Okay, okay, there's a lad, I like that name.
- 59:42Okay. Okay.
- 59:42Okay, what do you think Santa Cruz will begin?
- 59:46It's going to be a while. I don't think they're going to
- 59:48do static Fires for I mean I'm guessing three weeks to a month
- 59:56for static fires. I think three minute three weeks
- 1:00:00to a month just because I know, you know, like the the schedules
- 1:00:05the testing schedules take a while, you know, I think even
- 1:00:10though I would love for them to do it as soon as possible
- 1:00:12because I'm selfish and I want them to I know they have to do
- 1:00:17cryo testing, they have to make sure all the plumbing works from
- 1:00:21the tank farm to the ship. They have to make sure that the
- 1:00:24ship fits everything properly there to make sure that the
- 1:00:27Raptors are on their, right? They have to do testing with the
- 1:00:29Raptors before they fire them. Those things could take weeks,
- 1:00:32so it could be three weeks to a month before we even get a
- 1:00:36static fire, you know, of of ship and then booster as well.
- 1:00:40It's gonna take a while for because booster is going to be a
- 1:00:43Absolutely insane, huge amount of engines on booster.
- 1:00:50So the the fact that that they have them at the end of the
- 1:00:56just, it's mind-boggling. Like, how did they, who thought
- 1:00:59that? It just seems ridiculous.
- 1:01:02Like, it seems like a comically large amount of engines on this
- 1:01:06thing, like, it doesn't. It seems like everyone's, like,
- 1:01:09we could, you know, we could they're looking at their
- 1:01:11diagrams there, looking all the schematics.
- 1:01:13Like we could probably do 24 that seems cool that we could
- 1:01:18probably get away with it and then someone's like, what about
- 1:01:2033 the someone else was like, then why not?
- 1:01:25You know, you know, so but even static firing that that's going
- 1:01:31to take months, you know? And I would love for them to do
- 1:01:34it so soon, but this is important.
- 1:01:37Like, if they if they get any of this wrong, they're going to
- 1:01:40blow up stage, 0 and stayed. Is as important as the rocket
- 1:01:48and the booster, if not more and way more important because they
- 1:01:50can always build another booster and rocket and ship, but stage
- 1:01:56zero took a year to build, you know, and even though they know
- 1:02:00how to build it, you know, they can't just whip up another one
- 1:02:05because it takes forever. They have to get all the parts,
- 1:02:07they have to, you know, get everything back together.
- 1:02:09Again, stage 0 has to be 100% solid.
- 1:02:13And if booster and ship blow it up and have a Rudd, then there
- 1:02:17could be some massive damage in their set back months.
- 1:02:20So that's 24 is a test candidate ready to explode in space.
- 1:02:27Yeah, exactly. Yeah.
- 1:02:27It's it's they don't care, you know?
- 1:02:30Like they they're going to get the data out of it.
- 1:02:31That's all they care about the hope that get us started like
- 1:02:34satellite. Hopefully, popped out of that
- 1:02:36thing. That would be really cool but
- 1:02:38we'll see. We'll see what happens.
- 1:02:41I think, when it launches I think some tiles will fall off,
- 1:02:43says Erica space. Yeah, I think so too.
- 1:02:45I think sometimes are going to fall off.
- 1:02:47I think they're going to have some issues with the tiles for a
- 1:02:48long time and just like Falcon 9 and, you know, Falcon one, you
- 1:02:52know, like all the other little, like grasshopper everything,
- 1:02:55like it's a work-in-progress. Like this has never been done
- 1:02:58before. This is the biggest rocket
- 1:03:01engineering feat that's ever, been done by mankind.
- 1:03:04So, it's going to take a long time.
- 1:03:07I really wish it were like, you know, the FAA approval for The
- 1:03:11environmental study tomorrow is going to be like it's a nice
- 1:03:14step forward, right? SpaceX knows that it's going to
- 1:03:18be a while before they do this stuff to before they launched
- 1:03:20this thing. So it's going to be it's going
- 1:03:24to be a while. I think the over tested ship 24,
- 1:03:27working out how vacuum engines perform on the vehicle, ship 24.
- 1:03:30Hopefully test is fast as s N9, s and 50.
- 1:03:33That would be cool Shard. I really hope they do.
- 1:03:35I know it's a test vehicle and I know it's a it's like a like a
- 1:03:38Pathfinder for future Vehicles is Well, and hopefully they
- 1:03:42launched it. But if they don't, I think
- 1:03:45they'll get some super important data out of it.
- 1:03:48As far as one the heat tiles. You know that would be fairly
- 1:03:53cool but oh one of my lights is oh I just kicked the thing one
- 1:03:59of my license flash down and off.
- 1:04:00I was like what the heck? But I just hit the power button.
- 1:04:06Blow it up in Swiss to Florida Talent, they might switch to
- 1:04:10Florida. I mean, they they may switch
- 1:04:11everything to Florida eventually, but you know Boca
- 1:04:14Chica is going to be a test facility for a really long time.
- 1:04:20They're going to be the hardest towns are going to be the
- 1:04:22hardest problem. You guys think it's going to be
- 1:04:24a hard problem, Brian? For sure, but I don't think it's
- 1:04:26the hardest problem. I think they'll just eventually
- 1:04:29they'll get them right, but it's gonna take a while in the first
- 1:04:34cryo test. Last week, as 24, May debauch
- 1:04:37and an amount of tiles fella. Yeah, so who even knows what's
- 1:04:40going on with ship 24? You know, what was the Bonk?
- 1:04:43You know, what was, what was that all about?
- 1:04:45Well what, what, what made it Bonk was there too much pressure
- 1:04:48was, you know, what are they doing with this thing?
- 1:04:50So, we'll see you in the next week because we do have some
- 1:04:53road closures, possibly coming up in the next.
- 1:04:57A few days right here. Tuesday.
- 1:04:59May 31st road closure possible. Close your scheduled for June
- 1:05:04first. Scheduled for June 1st.
- 1:05:08So, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. possible new test for Starship 24,
- 1:05:14Thursday, June 2nd possible. Closer Friday, June third
- 1:05:20alternative date. Because if they don't do it on
- 1:05:22June 1st, we'll do it on the second of the other or the
- 1:05:24third. So that's 24.
- 1:05:27Also had a bent pipe. The other said there's some
- 1:05:30stuff going on here. 130 likes. Holy cow.
- 1:05:32Thanks guys, appreciate that. You are amazing.
- 1:05:35Thanks for. Thanks for hanging out and
- 1:05:36chatting with me today to. It's been a while since I've
- 1:05:38done a long live show. So, thank you, thank you for
- 1:05:43hanging out and just hanging out like that.
- 1:05:45That's pretty much it. We just hung out today.
- 1:05:47You know, we talked about space stuff.
- 1:05:49I like this casual conversations more than I do like the new Z,
- 1:05:53you know, like get right to the point of the news, you know.
- 1:05:56Like I think that's cool too. There's a place for that but I I
- 1:05:59really do enjoy just having a conversation with you guys and
- 1:06:01chatting with you guys. And that being said, we have
- 1:06:03some stuff to do today, run the house, I have to do some work on
- 1:06:07the house. I'm hanging out with my dad in
- 1:06:10New York again so I'm helping him out for through the summer
- 1:06:13and I'm trying to figure out my next steps as far as as far as
- 1:06:21either moving to the Cornell area staying around here, which
- 1:06:26is a thing that I might be doing or To going to Florida.
- 1:06:32So I can be near the rocket launches because I can always
- 1:06:34travel to Florida you know like that's the thing.
- 1:06:36I really love it up here because there's mountains and rivers and
- 1:06:39streams in the things that I actually love to be around all
- 1:06:41the time and traveling to Florida.
- 1:06:45For launches would be a really, really cool thing.
- 1:06:47So I'm okay with that. Charred loaded says, here's a
- 1:06:50few bucks for a cup of your favorite beverage.
- 1:06:52We need to support you chatting with us, thank you so much.
- 1:06:55That's really, really sweet of you.
- 1:06:56Thank you. That's really really nice of
- 1:06:58you. Thank you so much.
- 1:06:59I really do appreciate super chats, super stickers, all that
- 1:07:02stuff. And to you, cheers Dunkin
- 1:07:05Donuts, my favorite beverage. Cold brew with little bit of
- 1:07:12mocha, little bit of mocha. Thank you so much.
- 1:07:16The work is looked quite happy when they first looked inside,
- 1:07:19ship 24 after the test. And someone looked like there
- 1:07:21were celebrating yesterday when the crew lifts finished work.
- 1:07:25All over it. Oh, okay, cool.
- 1:07:29They were celebrating. I didn't even know that that's
- 1:07:31cool. If they're celebrating because
- 1:07:32they have the day off today, they're like, well, it's a
- 1:07:35holiday, they were. We're just like this chilling
- 1:07:39because he went to says, do you still talk to Jeff?
- 1:07:40A little bit, we chat on Twitter a little bit and not really, I
- 1:07:45mean, I saw her at Starbase a bunch, but not like, because
- 1:07:50it's like kind of like I don't live there anymore, so I don't
- 1:07:52see her ever. So, she's doing all sorts of
- 1:07:55other stuff. She's super busy.
- 1:07:56Like she's always streaming, too, but I go on our streams and
- 1:07:59say hi and stuff. So she's cool, man.
- 1:08:02I respect her so much as a person and as a, you know, as a
- 1:08:08streamer man as a content creator.
- 1:08:11I respect her so much because she did something similar me
- 1:08:16which was just drop it all and moved to Starbase which for me.
- 1:08:22That's that was like the hardest thing, man.
- 1:08:24It was super tough, super, super tough to do that, so I
- 1:08:28understand that. Whoa, thank you so much for the
- 1:08:3010 blond. Boy. 64, thank you so much.
- 1:08:32There you go. Oh, there goes my light again.
- 1:08:34What I just Doodles. So that right.
- 1:08:37There we go. Let me see if I can fix it.
- 1:08:38There we go. Got a little late.
- 1:08:40Thank you so much. Blind boy for that.
- 1:08:42Super Chat. You get a couple Starships for
- 1:08:44that one. Thank you.
- 1:08:46Thank you. Thank you.
- 1:08:48So now we're how far are we into this thing?
- 1:08:51About an hour hour and 16 minutes?
- 1:08:53Something like that. So I got to take off actually I
- 1:08:56got a bunch of stuff to do but thank you charred.
- 1:08:58Thank you blind boy. What else do we got here?
- 1:09:00What else we got? Let's see who did what I'm gonna

- 1:09:14I really hope you have a good time at Starbase and everybody
- 1:09:17else. I know you're all going you're
- 1:09:19all taking your trips I just got back from there I took a
- 1:09:21five-day trip away from Starbase which I have total fomo right
- 1:09:26now man. I'm like oh there's gonna be so
- 1:09:29much cool stuff. I have total fomo from not being
- 1:09:32a Starbase right now but I really want to be there, but I
- 1:09:34can't, you know, but thank you everybody who's supporting show.
- 1:09:39Thank you. So Watch for the hundred and
- 1:09:41thirty six likes. I think we're going to get like
- 1:09:4350, but we have 136. So cool.
- 1:09:46Thank you everybody for hanging out, man.
- 1:09:49If you're not subscribed to the channel, make sure to hit the
- 1:09:52sub button. It only takes a second and
- 1:09:54really helps out the channel and then we can push forward.
- 1:09:56The ideas of SpaceX and spaceflight, we can get
- 1:10:00everybody pumped about it. That's what I'm here for.
- 1:10:02I'm here to get people excited about space flight and
- 1:10:04everything in space. Everything is space whether it's
- 1:10:07SpaceX, whether it's SLS, whether it's Ula, Of her.
- 1:10:10And that's what I'm here for. I've been here for three and a
- 1:10:12half years so trying to get to 100,000 subscribers where 88,000
- 1:10:16165 now. So thanks to everybody who
- 1:10:18subscribed to the channel today, all of you amazing.
- 1:10:22We're doing really good stuff here and I really do appreciate
- 1:10:26all of your support. Make sure to check out Starship
- 1:10:28shirts.com. If you want any Starship merch
- 1:10:32or any space related merch because that's our shirt.
- 1:10:36Our shirts shop at Starship shirts.com.
- 1:10:39That's hard to say, man. Then why do I?
- 1:10:41Yeah, I got to figure out a new way to say that because it's
- 1:10:43tough. So Starship shirts.com, we do it
- 1:10:46all in-house. Neil and myself built the whole
- 1:10:49store. All the designs are ours, Neil
- 1:10:52built all of it and built all the designs.
- 1:10:54And we're doing this together, we're trying to make trying to
- 1:10:57push out the the idea for people this space flight is cool, you
- 1:11:01know, and it's for everybody. So everybody is included,
- 1:11:04everybody's welcome. Come check it out, it's really
- 1:11:07fun and let's enjoy this cool stuff together.
- 1:11:10Thank you. Darren for the sub.
- 1:11:11I appreciate you 100%. I got to get like a sub alert on
- 1:11:16the show. I think that would be pretty
- 1:11:18cool. I think that would be a really,
- 1:11:20really cool thing. Because I think everybody, you
- 1:11:22know, like as you're chilling out and watching the stuff, it
- 1:11:26would be pretty neat to see other people that are
- 1:11:27interacting and stuff too, so I'll get that I'll get on that.
- 1:11:32Hope dad is well passing with. Yeah he's doing okay, he's doing
- 1:11:34good. So he's better that I'm here
- 1:11:37because I can help him do stuff like a you know, go get
- 1:11:39groceries cooking. Food stuff like that.
- 1:11:42Plus I have my dog back which is really nice.
- 1:11:44I have Scrappy back which is really cool.
- 1:11:46She's running somewhere, hopefully if he comes over here,
- 1:11:48dude. How cool?
- 1:11:49Scrappy come here? How long's that been Scrappers?
- 1:11:53Come here? I don't know where she is.
- 1:11:55She's somewhere downstairs. Imagine Starship.
- 1:11:58Next to SLS. That might be a thing because
- 1:12:0139a and 39b, you're like there, you can get them in the same
- 1:12:04shot, if you use a drone. Also, I have another channel.
- 1:12:08Can I ask you guys a huge, huge favor.
- 1:12:10If you don't know about this other channel, we're going to.
- 1:12:16I've spelled that wrong. There we go.
- 1:12:22I have another Channel Starship daily, which is kind of my
- 1:12:27pivoting that channel from only Starship stuff because I don't
- 1:12:31live a Starbase anymore. So I'm pivoting that channel
- 1:12:36little bit to more more personal stuff like more Adventure stuff.
- 1:12:40More Wonder stuff, astrophotography, spaceflight,
- 1:12:44of course, some other stuff too. Like Journeys around, you know,
- 1:12:49nature stuff. Like I'd love.
- 1:12:50I just love to be outside. So anything on there, if you
- 1:12:53guys could subdue that they'll be really, really sweet and
- 1:12:57would really help out that channel and like watch all the
- 1:12:59videos and stuff. Because there's a lot of there's
- 1:13:01a lot of historical videos on that channel from last year from
- 1:13:06Starbase. So it's cool.
- 1:13:07If you guys would go check that out, I'm trying to get monetized
- 1:13:10over there too, so I can just make YouTube my full-time job
- 1:13:13and I don't have to have a regular job.
- 1:13:15So if you could do that, that would be super sweet Starship
- 1:13:19Bailey. On YouTube.
- 1:13:21So yeah, we got over 1,000 Subs. But yeah, it'll be changing up.
- 1:13:27A little bit. Will be changing up a little
- 1:13:28bit, not like super crazy, but I'll have some daily stuff so
- 1:13:32you get to, you know, get to hang out with me more so than
- 1:13:34like in a studio. Remember tonight 1 a.m. eastern
- 1:13:39time meteor shower. I am beyond eastern time again
- 1:13:41to. So that's cool.
- 1:13:42Yeah, that's to. I can't wait blind boy. 64 says,
- 1:13:47I don't have a driver's license. How can I get to start?
- 1:13:50Base, there's boobers in Brownsville.
- 1:13:53So if you fly into if you fly into the Brownsville area, the
- 1:13:58Brownsville Airport, B, r0 is the airport you can get an Uber
- 1:14:02from br0 down to Starbase. So, yeah, you can just just be
- 1:14:08like, all right, cool. Come get me, come pick me up.
- 1:14:12Take out an Uber down to Starbase.
- 1:14:14Somebody will take you. Yeah, some people take you.
- 1:14:17There's a lot of Uber drivers over there.
- 1:14:20And yeah, it's going to be cool, passing wind.
- 1:14:22I'm gonna, I'll be out at 1:00 a.m. front for the meteor
- 1:14:25shower, but I'm hoping to film it.
- 1:14:27My camera should be able to pick it up, but I've been doing like,
- 1:14:31like in the other thing is passing minute, I'm gonna get
- 1:14:33into astrophotography more and more, you know, Sky watching
- 1:14:38because I, I'm so it's so wonderful.
- 1:14:41It's so amazing. And I'm looking for Anybody
- 1:14:47that's into astrophotography that can recommend a nice Astro
- 1:14:53scope or astrophotography scope that isn't like seven thousand
- 1:14:57dollars because I was looking at him and I was like, oh, beginner
- 1:15:02scope this should be good. Like this should be a couple
- 1:15:03hundred bucks. I'm like oh fifteen hundred
- 1:15:05dollars, you know, and you can all, you know, you can get the
- 1:15:08beginner ones, but you're like, they're not, they're not great,
- 1:15:10but I want to make this into a thing, right?
- 1:15:12I want to put it on my YouTube channel.
- 1:15:14I don't want to start small. You know, and I I've had
- 1:15:16telescopes in the past. I know how they work.
- 1:15:19I just want to get like a good astrophotography scope that
- 1:15:23could help make content for my secondary channel.
- 1:15:27So, I think that would be really cool.
- 1:15:28I think your audience needs some more time to hang out with you
- 1:15:31doing some Ama or something but more often Solaris.
- 1:15:35Yeah, we do the, we do the live shows, every like every week,
- 1:15:39like three days a week, usually, but that's a really good
- 1:15:42question. Really good idea?
- 1:15:46Some am a stuff would be pretty cool.
- 1:15:49I think that's cool. I think that's a good idea.
- 1:15:51Maybe we'll do it on this on the Starship daily channel that
- 1:15:55might be kind of cool too. So yeah.
- 1:15:58Go check that out, Starship daily and then sub over there
- 1:16:01because I'm not sure which channel do it on.
- 1:16:03But it would be neat because I could have like this more like
- 1:16:06this is more of a newsy channel. So like an AMA might not be the
- 1:16:11proper. Place here.
- 1:16:14But that's a good. Good idea, though.
- 1:16:16I like that. What are you thoughts on spin
- 1:16:17launch? I think it's sweet, man.
- 1:16:19I think that's really cool. Like, any way to get it stuff
- 1:16:22into space is pretty cool. Live in Norway and I'm saving as
- 1:16:25much money as I can for a trip to Starbase.
- 1:16:28Yeah, I hope you make it man, it's it's wonderful.
- 1:16:33It's absolutely brilliant. It's it's really neat.
- 1:16:38I spent almost a year there and I miss it and it was really
- 1:16:43Jaw-droppingly, cool. So I hope you get there.
- 1:16:47And like, every time I talk about, I smile because it like
- 1:16:49the adventures that I had when I was down there was they were so
- 1:16:52cool. It's such a cool place even
- 1:16:55though it's really hot. It's really cool too.
- 1:16:57It's like that's that's all I tell people.
- 1:16:59I'm like, man, this is like the hottest place ever.
- 1:17:01Want to go to Texas, just to go to Starbase.
- 1:17:03Yeah you should I mean it's a really quick ride from
- 1:17:08Brownsville International Airport to Starbase it's like 30
- 1:17:10minutes so you could literally Fly into Brownsville
- 1:17:15International Airport, get an Uber and then have them drive
- 1:17:19you down to Starbase and have weight around.
- 1:17:21You know. It'd be like, okay, I want to, I
- 1:17:22want to stay here for like 30 minutes.
- 1:17:24You're going to pay for it of course because it's an Uber or
- 1:17:26you can rent a car of course. But you know, go down the
- 1:17:31Starbase for half an hour to an hour or whatever and then go
- 1:17:35back to your hotel. There's there's all sorts of
- 1:17:37options for hotels in Brownsville and a surrounding
- 1:17:40area because Basically it's a port city so people need to
- 1:17:46spend time there that aren't from there.
- 1:17:48So there's hotels near there in Brownsville but then there's
- 1:17:51also hotels on the island South Padre Island.
- 1:17:54Little bit more expensive, not a ton, they're like relatively
- 1:17:57good price. You know, the Pearl on South
- 1:18:00Padre Island. If you stay on there, if you
- 1:18:02stay there get like a higher floor.
- 1:18:04So you can see Starbase and ask them when you call them, ask
- 1:18:09them for a room that faces Boca Chica Beach.
- 1:18:12And Our base because you can see it from your window.
- 1:18:16They have the patio at the hotel and you can, you can like go out
- 1:18:20on the patio and you can see it's miles away.
- 1:18:22Mind you, it's like 10 miles away, ish somewhere around
- 1:18:24there, for 7, to 10 miles away, but it's you can see Starbase
- 1:18:28from the Pearl Hotel. It's so cool.
- 1:18:31So, if you're going for a launch or something, I would suggest
- 1:18:33the Pearl Hotel. So I am behind a lawsuit for
- 1:18:37what will peers complicated situation.
- 1:18:42But There are a couple environmental groups and
- 1:18:47religious groups down at the South Boca Chica Beach.
- 1:18:53They need to use it for Public Access because it's in the Texas
- 1:18:56Constitution, but also people want to pray at the river and
- 1:19:00access to the river is like through Boca Chica Beach.
- 1:19:03So, that's pretty much where it's at at this point.
- 1:19:08But yeah, thanks everybody for hanging out.
- 1:19:12Thanks for being part of the show.
- 1:19:13Thanks for continuing to support the show.
- 1:19:16Thanks for the 147. Like, can we get like three more
- 1:19:18like so we can make it even 150. Because I think 147 is a weird
- 1:19:21number. That would be really neat.
- 1:19:23If we got three more likes, let's see, one more.
- 1:19:27If I was living there, I would have sued all this religious
- 1:19:29groups. How can someone stop the biggest
- 1:19:31innovation in the world? Yeah, unfortunately, you can't
- 1:19:36see religious groups like that. Unfortunately, this is America
- 1:19:39like we have freedom of religion and you can practice a religion,
- 1:19:43where and when you want, as long as it doesn't impede on other
- 1:19:46people's rights. So, you know, I don't think, I
- 1:19:50mean, I don't think you can really, I mean, I guess you
- 1:19:52could sue them for some stuff but maybe not for practicing
- 1:19:55religion. 155, that's a great amount.
- 1:19:57We just moved to 157. It was a great number for 157 is
- 1:20:01great too. So thank you.
- 1:20:04Thanks will says chart. See you soon?
