- 0:01Speaker 1: News Radio 570 WKBN, Youngstown.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Eric Cebrowski on the pitch here in the eighth. He
- 0:14Speaker 2: misses inside ball one to the number nine hitter, the
- 0:17Speaker 2: left fielder, right hand to batter, Bryce Teodosio. The 1-0 pitch.
- 0:25Speaker 2: A swing and a foul off to the right. One
- 0:27Speaker 2: and one, they count. Teodosio 0 for 2 today. The
- 0:40Speaker 2: 1-1 pitch. Swing and a miss. 1-2 the count. Matt
- 0:45Speaker 2: Festo got the key batter he needed to get in
- 0:48Speaker 2: the 7th. Parker Messick another terrific outing. On a day
- 0:52Speaker 2: where I bet if you asked Parker right now he'd
- 0:54Speaker 2: say I wasn't as sharp as normal.
- 0:57Speaker 3: The pitch. Swing and a miss.
- 0:59Speaker 4: Struck him out.
- 1:01Speaker 2: As Sabrowski moved it in on him. A good fastball.
- 1:04Speaker 2: and Teodosio out number one in the eighth. That's the
- 1:08Speaker 2: separator on guys that get it done in the big
- 1:13Speaker 2: leagues and guys that become great starting pitchers. You're not
- 1:19Speaker 2: going to have 32 starts with your A game, with
- 1:23Speaker 2: all your pitches, with pinpoint command. How do you do
- 1:27Speaker 2: if you're missing some of that? First pitch, curveball, a
- 1:31Speaker 2: lit in. Maybe inside, maybe not, but Cleveland's out of challenges.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Leadoff man Vaughn Grissom takes ball one. 0 for 2
- 1:39Speaker 2: with a walk.
- 1:41Speaker 3: The set, the 1-0 pitch. Up high, 2-0.
- 1:46Speaker 2: But again, Parker Messick showed you that today when he
- 1:49Speaker 2: scuffled early with his command, he fought through it. It's
- 1:53Speaker 2: about as competitive as it gets and ends up working
- 1:57Speaker 2: almost seven innings. Pitches up high, 3-0. And Parker Messick.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Show me another rookie pitcher that's better than him in
- 2:09Speaker 2: the major leagues this year.
- 2:13Speaker 5: And not out of nowhere, but what a great addition
- 2:17Speaker 5: to that starting rotation tail end of last year and
- 2:20Speaker 5: has done nothing but carry it through.
- 2:21Speaker 3: 3-0 the count.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Pitches high, and this is what really upset Eric Cebrowski.
- 2:29Speaker 2: About his outing last night, he worked an inning, struck
- 2:33Speaker 2: out the side, but he walked two. And today was saying,
- 2:39Speaker 2: I was not good at all. Well, and again, shows
- 2:43Speaker 2: you how good these guys are if they don't think
- 2:47Speaker 2: they're good, and yet he still throws up a zero.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Here's Mike Trout, the pitch, and he looks at a
- 2:55Speaker 2: ball down low. Cebrowski this year, 22nd appearance, a 196 ERA,
- 3:03Speaker 2: a 115 batting average against. Seven hits allowed and 18 innings.
- 3:09Speaker 2: The pitch, in the dirt, curveball and advancing to second
- 3:14Speaker 2: in the wild pitch is Grissom. And just like that,
- 3:19Speaker 2: Cebrowski has walked the batter, fallen behind 2-0 and issued
- 3:24Speaker 2: a wild pitch. Out to the mound, catcher Austin Hedges.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Cebrowski this year in 18 innings, 32 strikeouts with a
- 3:37Speaker 2: fastball in that 93 to 95 mile an hour range,
- 3:41Speaker 2: a curveball, and a slider. Mike Trout today, fly out,
- 3:47Speaker 2: ground out, strikeout. Cleveland four, Angels two. Runner at second,
- 3:53Speaker 2: one out in the eighth inning. Trout in a hitter's
- 3:56Speaker 2: count The 2-0 pitch. Inside corner, a strike. Trout didn't agree. 2-1.
- 4:05Speaker 2: Mike Trout spent on base 25 consecutive games against Cleveland
- 4:10Speaker 2: going back nine years.
- 4:12Speaker 3: But not today. The pitch. Swung and drilled to left.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Down the line.
- 4:18Speaker 6: Foul.
- 4:20Speaker 3: He hit a two iron. That hook foul. And the count.
- 4:25Speaker 3: Two balls, two strikes.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Got a text message from good friend and legendary college
- 4:39Speaker 2: baseball coach, Danny Hall. Here's the 2-2 pitch. Curveball a
- 4:48Speaker 2: bit high. Danny Hall, who helped put Kent State baseball
- 4:52Speaker 2: on the map, then had a Hall of Fame career
- 4:56Speaker 2: at Georgia Tech, retired after the NCAA tournament a year ago.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Now the 2-2 pitch.
- 5:05Speaker 2: And strike three called. Got him looking at a curve ball.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Mike Trout will challenge the call. And the video board
- 5:14Speaker 2: says Mike Trout's out looking. Huge strikeout for Siborowski. Trout
- 5:22Speaker 2: is out number two. Runner still at second. Cleveland still up.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Four to two and here's Joe Adele 0 for 3.
- 5:34Speaker 2: And when Danny Hall decided to call it quits, one
- 5:38Speaker 2: of his assistant coaches getting the head job to follow
- 5:42Speaker 2: him at Georgia Tech.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Here's Joe Adele fouling it back.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Danny Hall made sure the cupboard wasn't bare. He made
- 5:52Speaker 2: sure that his protege had a chance to compete this year.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Georgia Tech is 42-8 and ranked third in the country.
- 6:04Speaker 3: And then.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Do the Bulldogs a very good chance to get to Omaha.
- 6:10Speaker 2: The pitch swung and missed.
- 6:12Speaker 3: 0-2 the count.
- 6:14Speaker 2: That's the mark of a class individual. Making sure, he
- 6:18Speaker 2: could have coached this year, but making sure your successor
- 6:22Speaker 2: can be successful.
- 6:24Speaker 5: And Tom, in this day and age with all the
- 6:26Speaker 5: transfer rules, a school like Georgia Tech to be able
- 6:29Speaker 5: to have consistent success is remarkable.
- 6:33Speaker 2: And think of a degree from Georgia Tech. Do kids
- 6:37Speaker 2: think of that anymore? Here's the 0-2 to Adele. Bounced
- 6:42Speaker 2: it in there all the way to the backstop. Another
- 6:44Speaker 2: wild pitch moves Grissom to third. Well, based on all
- 6:50Speaker 2: of the comments we're getting from Lane Kiffin and Steve Sarkeesian...
- 6:58Speaker 2: You do not want to go to Ole Miss unless
- 7:00Speaker 2: you don't care about a degree.
- 7:02Speaker 3: How about that?
- 7:03Speaker 5: Baskets are nice.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Good Lord.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Now, Danny Hall would never stoop that low like those
- 7:11Speaker 2: two guys. Now the 0-2 pitch to Adele. Swing and
- 7:15Speaker 2: a foul at the plate. Anyway, we thank Danny Hall
- 7:18Speaker 2: for listening to us down in Atlanta. One of the
- 7:22Speaker 2: great people the game of college baseball has had. And
- 7:28Speaker 2: he is a Hall of Fame college baseball coach. Cleveland four.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Angels two.
- 7:36Speaker 3: Two down. The pitch. Up high. Two and two.
- 7:41Speaker 2: Adele batting with two down in the eighth. Grissom at third.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Cade Smith is available to pitch today. Now the set
- 7:55Speaker 2: and the delivery. Swung on, fouled out of play to
- 7:59Speaker 2: the right.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Will do it.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Again at 2-2. And warming in the Cleveland bullpen is
- 8:05Speaker 2: the newcomer, a veteran right-hander, Cody Hoyer. Adele has struck out,
- 8:14Speaker 2: lined out, grounded out. Two down, eighth inning. Cleveland up two,
- 8:18Speaker 2: a runner at third. The pitch. Swung on, drilled a
- 8:21Speaker 2: deep right, but he sliced it foul. Boy, Adele has
- 8:26Speaker 2: looked Great, this series. Last night he robbed Anil Martinez
- 8:31Speaker 2: of a home run. Since 2022, that's the ninth time
- 8:38Speaker 2: Joe Adele has taken a home run away from a hitter.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Nine times. The pitch.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Got him swinging on a breaking ball. Sabrowski strikes out
- 8:49Speaker 2: the side for the second day in a row. Cleveland 4,
- 8:53Speaker 2: the Angels 2. Middle of the 8th on the Cleveland
- 8:57Speaker 2: Clinic Radio Network.
- 8:59Speaker 5: Hey, Guardians fans, Medical Mutual cares about the health and

- 9:18Speaker 5: more about individual Medicare and employer plans, visit medmutual.com slash guardians.
- 9:25Speaker 5: Medical Mutual, the official health insurer of the Cleveland Guardian.
- 9:30Speaker 7: Big crowds tonight for Sugardale Dollar Dog Night at Progressive Field.
- 9:35Speaker 4: Ah, the sounds of sun.
- 9:37Speaker 8: Nothing pulls fans to the concession stand like a Sugardale
- 9:40Speaker 8: Dollar Dog. And don't forget, you can enjoy that same
- 9:44Speaker 8: mouth-watering Sugardale hot dog at home. Slow smoke, perfectly seasoned,
- 9:50Speaker 8: made right here in Ohio for over 100 years.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Don't wait.
- 9:56Speaker 4: Make tonight a Sugardale Hot Dog Night.
- 10:00Speaker 9: This is the call of the Australian rubber bird.
- 10:03Speaker 10: Snap!
- 10:04Speaker 6: Snap!
- 10:06Speaker 9: This is the call of the Alaskan chili bird.
- 10:08Speaker 11: Kiki, kiki, kiki, kiki, geez, it's cold.
- 10:10Speaker 12: Kiki, kiki, kiki, kiki, geez, it's cold.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Geez, it's cold.
- 10:13Speaker 9: And this is the call of the marathon mascot bald eagle, Max.
- 10:17Speaker 6: Hi, it's Max. Hello. Did you know you could save
- 10:20Speaker 6: up to a dollar a gallon with the Marathon Rewards app?
- 10:22Speaker 13: No.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Thanks for the call.
- 10:25Speaker 14: Marathon, where fun runs on full. Available at participating marathon locations.
- 10:28Speaker 14: Terms and conditions apply. See MarathonRewards.com for details.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Here it comes.
- 10:32Speaker 3: Swung in and banged up the middle.
- 10:33Speaker 2: There's the first major league hit for Bozzano.
- 10:36Speaker 7: The Guardians face the Reds in a three-game series May
- 10:39Speaker 7: 15th through the 17th.
- 10:40Speaker 14: And tickets start at just $ 20, including all fees, only
- 10:43Speaker 14: at CLEGuardians.com.
- 10:46Speaker 1: News Radio 570 WKBN, Youngstown.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Jace DeLauder will lead off the Cleveland eighth inning. And
- 11:08Speaker 2: the Angels go back to their bullpen. I'll tell you what,
- 11:12Speaker 2: Sam Bachman was impressive. Imagine facing him in the Mid-American Conference.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Chase DeLauder leads off, and the right-hander, Ryan Zephyrjohn, misses outside. Zephyrjohn, 2-1,
- 11:29Speaker 2: one save, ERA 435. Another guy can light up the gun.
- 11:36Speaker 2: The pitch is in there, a strike. They have some pieces, Rosie.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Do the Angels have enough starting pitching to turn it around?
- 11:44Speaker 5: And you do it piece by piece, and it's not
- 11:47Speaker 5: all going to come together at once. You've kind of
- 11:49Speaker 5: seen that in the ERAs.
- 11:51Speaker 3: Zephyr Johns' pitch outside, a breaking ball, 2-1.
- 11:55Speaker 5: When you start putting together Soriano with last night's starter
- 11:58Speaker 5: and Bachman's got a good arm, this kid, it's not
- 12:02Speaker 5: going to be consistent probably, but piece by piece, that's
- 12:06Speaker 5: how you get back in it.
- 12:08Speaker 3: The pitch.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Swung on, fouled upstairs, 2-2 the count. Well, they're lucky
- 12:17Speaker 2: too that nobody in the West has gotten hot At
- 12:22Speaker 2: no point have we seen Seattle look like the team
- 12:25Speaker 2: that almost got to the World Series.
- 12:29Speaker 3: The 2-2. Way inside. De Lauder. A single, a sack fly,
- 12:34Speaker 3: and a ground out.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Once again, this guy just game after game at bat
- 12:40Speaker 2: after at bat. De Lauder has a quality at bat
- 12:44Speaker 2: and a deep count once again.
- 12:46Speaker 3: Payoff pitch.
- 12:48Speaker 2: Swung on a rocket down the right field line, foul.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Three and two to count. And can you also imagine
- 12:55Speaker 2: kids in the Colonial Conference pitching to Chase DeLauder going,
- 12:59Speaker 2: what in the world is he doing at James Madison?
- 13:03Speaker 5: I couldn't imagine that, those poor kids.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Why didn't I play tennis? The payoff, swung on, drilled
- 13:10Speaker 2: into left field, a base hit. Another terrific at-bat for DeLauder,
- 13:14Speaker 2: a two-hit game. But again, I think it's the beauty
- 13:19Speaker 2: of our game. De Lauder never played on a travel
- 13:23Speaker 2: ball team, was never one of these showcase ponies that
- 13:27Speaker 2: we see so much of now. They look good in
- 13:29Speaker 2: a showcase, but they can't play the game. He just
- 13:33Speaker 2: went and played, and if you're good enough, the scouts
- 13:36Speaker 2: find you, whether it's James Madison or wherever. Now Reese
- 13:42Speaker 2: Hoskins being lifted for a pinch hitter. Kyle Manzardo takes
- 13:46Speaker 2: high and wide.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Ball one.
- 13:48Speaker 2: Manzardo will stay in and play first. Hoskins one for two.
- 13:52Speaker 2: A single, a walk, and a run scored. Manzardo, the
- 13:57Speaker 2: left hander batter. The righties pitch. In there, a called
- 14:01Speaker 2: strike to even the count. Four to two, Cleveland. Bottom
- 14:06Speaker 2: of the eighth inning. Kyle Manzardo has become proficient at
- 14:13Speaker 2: pinch hitting. Three for six.
- 14:16Speaker 3: The pitch. Swung on. Dribbled foul.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Right side. One and two to count. Cloudy day now
- 14:28Speaker 2: in downtown Cleveland. 55 degrees at game time. It's no warmer.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Is it May 13th or March 13th? The pitch, fouled
- 14:42Speaker 2: it back. We'll do it again at one and two.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Zephyr John is out of the University of Kansas. We
- 14:51Speaker 2: know all about Kansas Jayhawk basketball. They're ranked 16th in
- 14:57Speaker 2: the country in college baseball. Tony Amato was wondering. The pitch, outside,
- 15:06Speaker 2: two and two the count. Tony asked me to go
- 15:09Speaker 2: through the top 25 in college baseball, but I think
- 15:12Speaker 2: that's too much.
- 15:13Speaker 3: Come on, you can do it.
- 15:14Speaker 5: We've got a couple innings left.
- 15:15Speaker 2: That's a strike. I beg your pardon. Kind of a
- 15:19Speaker 2: late call, and they ring up Kyle Manzardo. Again, Cleveland's
- 15:26Speaker 2: out of.
- 15:26Speaker 3: Challenges, or that one would have been challenged. One down.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Sam Bachman wiped out all four men he faced, an
- 15:34Speaker 2: inning and a third scoreless relief, a strikeout. Now the
- 15:38Speaker 2: pitch to Petey Helpin. His first at bat, lost one
- 15:41Speaker 2: in the air. Medium deep left center, caught by the
- 15:44Speaker 2: center fielder Mike Trout.
- 15:46Speaker 3: Two down.
- 15:47Speaker 15: Boy, the one.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Thing that's really helped this club and balanced the major
- 15:53Speaker 2: league roster is getting a guy like Petey Helpin up here.
- 15:58Speaker 2: where you can put him in when you have the lead,
- 16:01Speaker 2: knowing there's not a much better center fielder in the game.
- 16:04Speaker 2: And he's embraced that bench role where he knows he's
- 16:07Speaker 2: going to come in late if the team's leading. Two
- 16:10Speaker 2: down for Travis Pazana, takes a called strike. Two for
- 16:14Speaker 2: three today. Pazana's only hitting. 227, but is on base
- 16:23Speaker 2: well over. 400. The pitch, up high, 1-1. We'll see
- 16:32Speaker 2: him this weekend, but Tito always maintained when he managed here,
- 16:39Speaker 2: if you don't have plate discipline in the minor leagues,
- 16:42Speaker 2: you'll never learn it on the big league level.
- 16:44Speaker 3: It won't happen. The 1-1.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Outside corner strike. If you're striking out 170 times in
- 16:52Speaker 2: the minor leagues, wait until you get up here. And
- 16:56Speaker 2: these guys never miss their spot or know how to
- 16:59Speaker 2: expand your strike zone. That's why Bazan is so successful
- 17:03Speaker 2: because of his plate discipline.
- 17:05Speaker 3: The pitch, high, 2-2.
- 17:07Speaker 5: There were five hitters in the starting lineup today for
- 17:11Speaker 5: Cleveland that had more walks than strikeouts or equal walks
- 17:15Speaker 5: to strikeouts.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Isn't that something?
- 17:17Speaker 5: That's unusual in today's.
- 17:20Speaker 3: Game.
- 17:20Speaker 2: 4-2 Cleveland, two down and the eighth runner on. Here's
- 17:23Speaker 2: the pitch. Check swing, pitch outside. I mean this kid.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Borderline has the guts to go. That's not a strike.
- 17:35Speaker 2: And to take it, and now it's a 3-2 count.
- 17:39Speaker 2: So traveling time at first for DeLauder. The payoff, got
- 17:45Speaker 2: him swinging on a back foot slider. Innings over, Bazana
- 17:49Speaker 2: strikes out. Cleveland takes a 4-2 lead into the ninth inning.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Cade Smith will face the middle of the order when
- 17:56Speaker 2: we come back.
- 18:01Speaker 1: News Radio 570 WKBN, Youngstown.
- 18:13Speaker 3: Cade Smith had.
- 18:14Speaker 2: A four-out save last night, but he's able to come
- 18:18Speaker 2: back not even a full day later because the four-out
- 18:23Speaker 2: save came on 18 pitches. 4-2 Cleveland. Front door slider
- 18:28Speaker 2: stays inside on Jorge Soler, the cleanup hitter, opening up
- 18:33Speaker 2: the Angel 9th. Solero for three. The set and delivery,
- 18:38Speaker 2: a swing and a miss. One ball, one strike. Cleveland
- 18:43Speaker 2: four runs, seven hits. The Angels two runs, four hits.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Smith is ready. Here it comes. Swing and a miss.
- 18:55Speaker 2: 96 miles an hour. Another tremendous outing by Eric Cebrowski.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Struck out the side, walked one in a scoreless frame.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Smith lets it fly in the dirt. Ball two, two
- 19:08Speaker 2: and two. Cade Smith, 12 for 14 in save opportunities.
- 19:14Speaker 2: He's 2-0 with a. 320 ERA, 20th outing. By the way,
- 19:20Speaker 2: Eric Sabrowski got his 16th hole today. The pitch swung
- 19:24Speaker 2: on and missed, struck him out with a heater in
- 19:27Speaker 2: on the thumbs. That is 11 strikeouts for Cleveland pitching.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Cleveland leads the American League in strikeouts by a pitching staff.
- 19:41Speaker 2: One down, ninth inning. Oswald Peraza the batter. And he
- 19:47Speaker 2: takes a little bit wide.
- 19:49Speaker 6: Ball. one.
- 19:53Speaker 2: Peraza one for three with a single. The pitch and
- 20:00Speaker 2: it's in there called strike. One ball one strike. I
- 20:06Speaker 2: think it's safe to say Rosie that Whatever it was,
- 20:11Speaker 2: the pitch, waved at, good slider. The tinkering and whatnot,
- 20:18Speaker 2: Kate Smith is locked in.
- 20:19Speaker 5: Definitely much more direct to home plate, he was saying,
- 20:22Speaker 5: and that has made a difference.
- 20:25Speaker 3: The set and pitch.
- 20:27Speaker 2: Strike three called on a 97-mile-an-hour outside corner fastball. Angels
- 20:35Speaker 2: down to their last out. Two down in the ninth,
- 20:38Speaker 2: 4-2 Cleveland. Angels have scored two runs in all three games.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Never more, never less. And thus Cleveland on the doorstep
- 20:50Speaker 2: of a sweep.
- 20:52Speaker 3: The set. The pitch.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Bullseye, nothing and one to count to Zach Netto. 21,142
- 21:02Speaker 2: on their feet at the corner of Carnegie and Ontario.
- 21:06Speaker 2: The set, the pitch. In the dirt to the backstop,
- 21:11Speaker 2: one ball, one strike. Parker Messick, a tone setting, six
- 21:16Speaker 2: and two thirds innings, striking out seven, giving up two runs.
- 21:20Speaker 2: Then Matt Festa, Eric Zebrowski, and now Cade Smith. The
- 21:25Speaker 2: Cleveland bullpen dominant again. Front door slider stayed inside in
- 21:31Speaker 2: the count two and one on Netto. We are seeing
- 21:34Speaker 2: more sliders today from Kate Smith. Now the right-handers, 2-1 delivery.
- 21:43Speaker 2: Bullseye on a swing and a miss fastball. Boy, right
- 21:47Speaker 2: now his fastball, despite four outs last night, has that
- 21:52Speaker 2: late life to it again. Pick up the Guardians Dollar
- 22:00Speaker 2: Bank debit card. Get exclusive perks.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Go online.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Find out more. Now the 2-2. Swing and a miss.
- 22:11Speaker 6: Ball game.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Smith strikes out the side. Cleveland completes the sweep. And
- 22:17Speaker 2: they dominate the Angels this week here on the shores
- 22:21Speaker 2: of Lake Erie. Today they win it by a final
- 22:26Speaker 2: score of 4-2.
- 22:30Speaker 16: Our yoga instructor challenged us to find inner peace. I
- 22:33Speaker 16: found it faster than anyone. After four seconds, I stood
- 22:36Speaker 16: up and screamed, I found Nirvana!
- 22:38Speaker 4: I win!
- 22:39Speaker 1: They asked me to leave.
- 22:41Speaker 16: I guess they don't respect winning.
- 22:43Speaker 17: Bet365 does, though.
- 22:44Speaker 16: New customers get $ 200 in bonus bets just for betting $ 10.

- 24:28Speaker 2: Well, the Guardians, in front of over 21,000, complete a sweep. Man,
- 24:33Speaker 2: was this pitching impressive this week against an Angel Ball
- 24:38Speaker 2: Club that, remember, on the road, they're averaging over five
- 24:41Speaker 2: runs a game, and they have hit... Almost three times
- 24:45Speaker 2: as many homers on the road as at home. That's
- 24:48Speaker 2: how good Cleveland's pitching was this week. In each game,
- 24:53Speaker 2: the Angels were held to two runs. By no means
- 24:56Speaker 2: was Cleveland blowing the Angels out, but they did the
- 24:59Speaker 2: little things and were able to scratch away a 3-2
- 25:03Speaker 2: win last night. And then today, a 4-2 triumph, and
- 25:07Speaker 2: the Guardians are now 24-21. Final numbers next.
- 25:14Speaker 1: News Radio 570, WKBN, Youngstown.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Back here in downtown Cleveland, this is the way it
- 25:30Speaker 2: shakes out. Cleveland, four runs, seven hits, no errors, five left.
- 25:34Speaker 2: The Angels, two runs on four hits, one error, and
- 25:38Speaker 2: four men stranded. The victory goes to Parker Messick. What
- 25:42Speaker 2: a start for the rookie. Now 5-1. Saved number 13
- 25:46Speaker 2: for the dominant Cade Smith. Reed Detmers pitched well but
- 25:50Speaker 2: takes the loss.
- 25:51Speaker 3: He is 1-4. 2.29 to play it. 21,142 on hand.
- 25:58Speaker 2: Cleveland stays in first with a record now of 24-21.
- 26:02Speaker 2: And the Angels limp back to the West Coast. Worst
- 26:07Speaker 2: record in baseball, 16-28. Rosie's got the wrap-up show, so
- 26:13Speaker 2: stay tuned for that. Off day tomorrow, we'll greet you

- 29:45Speaker 5: Welcome back to Guardians Wrap-Up. We're in downtown Cleveland at
- 29:49Speaker 5: Progressive Field, where the Guardians win it today by a
- 29:52Speaker 5: final score of 4-2. Time now for our Honda Drive-It-Home
- 29:57Speaker 5: Game Summary, and the Guardians got it going quickly today,
- 30:00Speaker 5: about as quick as you can, with Angel Martinez in
- 30:03Speaker 5: the leadoff spot. Stephen Kwan with a day off, and
- 30:06Speaker 5: Martinez came through in his first at-bat.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Detmers, he delivers. And a swing and a high drive.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Deep left field. It's got a chance. Gone to the bleachers.
- 30:19Speaker 2: He's done it again. Angel Martinez. Solo homer last night.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Banning left-handed. Solo homer today. Banning right-handed. A team-high seven
- 30:33Speaker 2: home runs for Angel Martinez. 1-0 Cleveland here in the
- 30:39Speaker 2: bottom half of inning number one as the top half
- 30:43Speaker 2: of the order trying to get it going early against
- 30:47Speaker 2: Reed Detmers.
- 30:49Speaker 5: Boy, could have been three home runs in two games
- 30:52Speaker 5: for Martinez, but Last night he had hit a home
- 30:54Speaker 5: run and had another one taken away by Joe Adele
- 30:58Speaker 5: in right. But he goes deep into the bleachers today
- 31:01Speaker 5: to lead it off. And then the Guardians scored another
- 31:03Speaker 5: run in that first inning on an RBI ground out
- 31:06Speaker 5: off the bat of David Fry. They added another run
- 31:10Speaker 5: in the third inning, this time on a sack fly
- 31:12Speaker 5: from Chase DeLauder. And that made it a 3-0 Guardians lead.
- 31:16Speaker 5: But the Angels would battle back. They scored twice in
- 31:19Speaker 5: the fifth on a two-run home run from Zach Netto.
- 31:23Speaker 5: his seventh home run on the season. But then Cleveland
- 31:26Speaker 5: would add an insurance run in the sixth inning thanks
- 31:29Speaker 5: to Daniel Schneeman.
- 31:31Speaker 2: The set, the pitch, and a swing and a line
- 31:35Speaker 2: right base hit in the left center. Hoskins will try
- 31:38Speaker 2: to score. Trout decides not to throw to the plate.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Throws it into the infield. RBI single. Schneeman delivers again
- 31:47Speaker 2: against the Southpaw. A two-out RBI single to left center
- 31:52Speaker 2: puts Cleveland on top. Four to two. Steemans' 18th RBI.
- 31:58Speaker 2: And that'll be the end of the line for Reed Detmers.
- 32:02Speaker 5: And four to two would be your final score today
- 32:04Speaker 5: from Progressive Field. The winning pitcher, Parker Messick. Now five
- 32:09Speaker 5: and one with six and two-thirds innings of two-run, four-hit baseball.
- 32:13Speaker 5: Kate Smith with a perfect ninth. Striking out the side
- 32:17Speaker 5: for save number 13. And That puts him atop the
- 32:19Speaker 5: Major League leaderboard in saves now. Just one ahead of
- 32:23Speaker 5: Mason Miller, the outstanding closer for San Diego. Reed Detmers
- 32:27Speaker 5: takes the loss, falling to 1-4. Final line, two runs,
- 32:31Speaker 5: four hits, one error, and four men left for the Angels.
- 32:35Speaker 5: For the Guardians, two runs, seven hits. Excuse me, four runs,
- 32:39Speaker 5: seven hits, no errors, and five men left on base.
- 32:43Speaker 5: Time of today's game, 2 hours and 29 minutes. Paid crowd, 21,100.

- 34:58Speaker 5: Welcome back to Guardians Wrap-Up. Following a 4-2 Guardians win,
- 35:03Speaker 5: we'll hear shortly from manager Steven Vogt, but first, today's
- 35:06Speaker 5: winning pitcher, Parker Messick.
- 35:09Speaker 25: Parker, you and I talked a couple days ago about pitching.
- 35:12Speaker 25: Sometimes you don't have your best stuff. How the belief
- 35:15Speaker 25: you have in all your pitches and having Hedgie kind
- 35:17Speaker 25: of work through that, how much did that play out
- 35:19Speaker 25: today for you?
- 35:20Speaker 26: Yeah, it's definitely one of those days, you know, it
- 35:23Speaker 26: was probably the best pregame bullpen I've ever thrown in
- 35:25Speaker 26: my life. And then it just did not translate to
- 35:27Speaker 26: the game. It was one of those just didn't have
- 35:29Speaker 26: a great feel for for all the pitches and especially early.
- 35:33Speaker 26: I had to kind of fight through that. And it's
- 35:35Speaker 26: just one of those things you can't give up on anything.
- 35:37Speaker 26: And Hedgie does a really good job of not letting
- 35:39Speaker 26: me do that. He's going to force me to get
- 35:42Speaker 26: pitches in zone. And then we find the right spots
- 35:44Speaker 26: that are the ones that we feel are working the best.
- 35:46Speaker 19: And that's what we did.
- 35:47Speaker 26: Did a good job managing everything and ended up with
- 35:49Speaker 26: a pretty decent one.
- 35:50Speaker 25: How gratifying is that, that you know that you may
- 35:53Speaker 25: not have your best stuff and maybe early on the
- 35:56Speaker 25: pitch count gets up and you look up and you're
- 35:58Speaker 25: leaving the game in the seventh inning?
- 35:59Speaker 26: Yeah, it's definitely a lot of prayer between those innings.
- 36:02Speaker 1: You just got to know you don't.
- 36:04Speaker 27: I'm not feeling them.
- 36:05Speaker 26: It's just one of those days where you look back
- 36:07Speaker 26: and you can get an outcome like that. and have
- 36:11Speaker 26: your team pick you up the way that they did
- 36:13Speaker 26: today for me, then I can rest easy tonight and
- 36:18Speaker 26: get back at it and hopefully have a good one
- 36:20Speaker 26: the next start.
- 36:20Speaker 25: Speaking of picking, how about the way your bullpen has
- 36:24Speaker 25: been playing for you guys over the last three or
- 36:27Speaker 25: four weeks here?
- 36:28Speaker 26: Yeah, they've been locked down. I mean, we have all
- 36:31Speaker 26: the confidence in the world, every single one of them. um,
- 36:33Speaker 26: that they're going to come in and get the job done.
- 36:35Speaker 26: I tried to do the best I could today to,
- 36:38Speaker 26: to give them a little bit of a break. Cause
- 36:39Speaker 26: I know that they've been working hard. So try to
- 36:41Speaker 26: get as deep as I could into that one. And then,
- 36:43Speaker 26: you know, let, let our guys close it out. And
- 36:45Speaker 26: you know, that's what we did. They've, they've been phenomenal.
- 36:47Speaker 25: 16 starts into your career.
- 36:48Speaker 28: Now, like, if you think back to your first few starts,
- 36:52Speaker 28: how much more comfortable are you now? And do you
- 36:54Speaker 28: almost have like cues you can turn to where those
- 36:57Speaker 28: first few starts you might've felt lost out there.
- 37:00Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 37:00Speaker 26: There's, there's definitely some, some different things that you learned.
- 37:03Speaker 26: I mean, this it's baseball, you're going to constantly learn
- 37:05Speaker 26: and the game is going to show you a lot
- 37:07Speaker 26: of things about yourself and your team. So there's, there's
- 37:09Speaker 26: definitely a lot of things that I, you know, know
- 37:12Speaker 26: about myself when I'm pitching, when I'm missing certain spots
- 37:14Speaker 26: with certain pitches, different cues that I can use today
- 37:17Speaker 26: for me, it was just not trying to, you know,
- 37:19Speaker 26: don't want to get into a habit of guiding pitches
- 37:21Speaker 26: where they're supposed to go. I, you know, I want
- 37:23Speaker 26: to rip it. I want to get down the mountain,
- 37:24Speaker 26: rip it to the spots. And I started doing that
- 37:26Speaker 26: the last, you know, two innings, two, three innings.
- 37:29Speaker 19: Whatever it was.
- 37:30Speaker 26: But first couple just felt like I was trying to
- 37:32Speaker 26: kind of place the pitch and each pitch trying to
- 37:34Speaker 26: guide it to the spot and then kind of, kind
- 37:36Speaker 26: of snapped out of it there towards the end and
- 37:38Speaker 26: really felt, you know, back to my normal self.
- 37:41Speaker 29: After giving up that home run, are you kind of
- 37:43Speaker 29: talking to yourself?
- 37:43Speaker 30: Are you keeping yourself blank upstairs or what's going through
- 37:46Speaker 30: your mind after that?
- 37:47Speaker 26: Yeah, there's a little bit of both there. You're kind of,
- 37:49Speaker 26: it's one of those things that I just have to clear. It's,
- 37:52Speaker 26: We're still winning the game, and at that point, it's
- 37:54Speaker 26: a one-run game. So I've got to lock it in
- 37:57Speaker 26: and make sure that I keep the team in the game,
- 37:58Speaker 26: keep the lead. And like I said, when I get
- 38:02Speaker 26: out of that inning and our offense goes back in
- 38:05Speaker 26: and gives me another insurance run, that gives me all
- 38:07Speaker 26: the confidence in the world to just go right back
- 38:09Speaker 26: out there and attack. And I can't thank them enough
- 38:11Speaker 26: for picking me up in that way today. So they
- 38:14Speaker 26: did a phenomenal job.
- 38:16Speaker 5: And now let's head back downstairs for manager Steven Vogt.
- 38:20Speaker 31: You can see he and Hedgie just figuring out how
- 38:22Speaker 31: to get in the zone, how to keep them off balance. Man,
- 38:25Speaker 31: did he make pitch after pitch after pitch. And it kept, like,
- 38:28Speaker 31: as the outing was going, it was like, man, how's
- 38:30Speaker 31: he doing?
- 38:31Speaker 19: How's he doing? But he just kept going.
- 38:32Speaker 31: And, you know, obviously the offense kept giving us, you know,
- 38:37Speaker 31: that fourth run was huge. And just to be able
- 38:40Speaker 31: to have that and continue. But Parker, he just battles.
- 38:44Speaker 19: He competes. And that's what we've talked about. It was
- 38:46Speaker 19: a very mature outing by him. Run game.
- 38:50Speaker 25: We can talk about hitting all the time, but what
- 38:52Speaker 25: do you think the run game did early on to
- 38:53Speaker 25: help you guys get that lead?
- 38:56Speaker 19: I felt like it got Detmers a little out of
- 38:58Speaker 19: his rhythm. He was having to sidestep.
- 38:59Speaker 31: He was having to pay really close attention to the
- 39:02Speaker 31: base runners, Ozzie and Angel, causing havoc there in the
- 39:06Speaker 31: one and two spot and just making things happen. We've
- 39:12Speaker 31: done such a great job. JT, Sandy, done such a
- 39:16Speaker 31: great job with our base stealing. identifying guys that we
- 39:19Speaker 31: can go on and credit to our guys. They're working
- 39:22Speaker 31: on the vaulting. They're working on the hopping. We're looking
- 39:24Speaker 31: for ways to push the envelope there. And it felt
- 39:28Speaker 31: like early in the year, we got three. out a
- 39:30Speaker 31: lot but these guys are starting to get more comfortable
- 39:33Speaker 31: with it you see you know bizana drawn throwovers we're
- 39:36Speaker 31: drawn disengagement so we're going to keep pushing the envelope there.
- 39:40Speaker 25: So what do you have to say about the way
- 39:42Speaker 25: your bullpen is pitched not just today but the last
- 39:46Speaker 25: three or four weeks here.
- 39:47Speaker 31: The bullpen has been great um I really want to
- 39:50Speaker 31: tip my cap to them on this 13-game stretch. I mean,
- 39:53Speaker 31: they covered a ton of innings, most of them going
- 39:56Speaker 31: three out of four back-to-backs.
- 39:59Speaker 19: They were all running hot.
- 40:00Speaker 31: We had guys step up on nights when guys were down.
- 40:03Speaker 31: It's not just three or four guys getting it done.
- 40:06Speaker 31: It was all eight of them, nine. We made a
- 40:09Speaker 31: couple moves along this 13-game stretch, and whoever it was
- 40:14Speaker 31: we gave the ball to was phenomenal.
- 40:16Speaker 19: I mean, they just stepped up and stopped games.
- 40:19Speaker 29: Cause we're walking a lot through this year.
- 40:21Speaker 32: And in addition to like the base selling or those
- 40:23Speaker 32: two areas that you guys pinpointed that you wanted to
- 40:26Speaker 32: focus on, like, what do you, what do you make
- 40:27Speaker 32: of those?
- 40:27Speaker 31: We want to have quality of bats and we want
- 40:29Speaker 31: to push the envelope on the basis. You know, we've
- 40:32Speaker 31: talked about it since spring training. We just want to,
- 40:34Speaker 31: we want to get to first, you know, find a
- 40:36Speaker 31: way to get to first. And, you know, we've seen
- 40:39Speaker 31: at work, we've seen getting pitchers, pitch counts up, you know,
- 40:41Speaker 31: and we've had our games where we haven't been able
- 40:43Speaker 31: to do it. Good pitching will always be good hitting,
- 40:45Speaker 31: but for the most part, I've been really pleased.
- 40:48Speaker 19: I mean, we walked a ton, this homestand, and it showed.
- 40:52Speaker 31: And, you know, really proud of the way our guys
- 40:54Speaker 31: rebounded twice on this 13-game stretch. You know, we lose
- 40:57Speaker 31: three in a row from Sacramento to Kansas City. We
- 41:01Speaker 31: bounce right back and drop two tough ones over the weekend,
- 41:04Speaker 31: come right back and, you know, get a sweep going
- 41:08Speaker 31: into the off day.
- 41:08Speaker 19: So really proud of those guys.
- 41:11Speaker 30: Going back to the base pass and running a lot,
- 41:13Speaker 30: I mean, it seems like as more guys come up,
- 41:15Speaker 30: there's more options. How good does that feel to kind
- 41:18Speaker 30: of have more and more options out there in the
- 41:20Speaker 30: base pads and really cause that chaos you're looking for.
- 41:22Speaker 17: Yeah.
- 41:22Speaker 31: You know, like we've talked about since spring training, we
- 41:24Speaker 31: feel like we're going to keep getting better as the
- 41:26Speaker 31: year's going. We're going to keep growing up. We're going
- 41:28Speaker 31: to keep evolving and keep getting better. And, and we
- 41:31Speaker 31: know we have really good players in our system and
- 41:34Speaker 31: it's showing, I mean, you know, maybe we're not the
- 41:37Speaker 31: fastest team, but we were very good base running team
- 41:40Speaker 31: and it's starting to show.
- 41:42Speaker 19: It's been really fun.
- 41:44Speaker 33: Whether it's a player or a manager, What's your perspective
- 41:48Speaker 33: on how rare it is to see guys like Travis
- 41:51Speaker 33: and Chase, who in the grand scheme of things, don't
- 41:53Speaker 33: have a ton of big league at-bats, to have the
- 41:55Speaker 33: complete discipline that they're.
- 41:57Speaker 19: Showing early in their career? Yeah, it's been really fun
- 41:59Speaker 19: to watch those two. I mean, they are.
- 42:01Speaker 31: They're in the infant stages of their big league career.
- 42:03Speaker 31: But the mature approach, the mature at-bats, I mean, players
- 42:07Speaker 31: today are so talented. It's unbelievable. You see it around
- 42:10Speaker 31: the league. I mean, guys coming up for the first
- 42:12Speaker 31: time and they can hang. But you don't always see
- 42:15Speaker 31: the mature approach that, you know, Chase and Travis have shown.
- 42:19Speaker 31: And it's just been fun to watch. They've worked extremely
- 42:23Speaker 31: hard and they're, you know, they're stubborn to who they
- 42:27Speaker 31: are and.
- 42:27Speaker 19: It's really fun to see.
- 42:31Speaker 32: What impressions did you have of the two, three spots
- 42:33Speaker 32: that will shake up in the lineup today?
- 42:36Speaker 19: Yeah, it was great.
- 42:36Speaker 31: I mean, Hosey, Hosey got on base twice and hit
- 42:39Speaker 31: two balls right on the nose. And obviously Chase didn't
- 42:43Speaker 31: skip a beat. So we're going to keep evaluating where
- 42:45Speaker 31: we want to be with the lineup and As you
- 42:47Speaker 31: guys know, it changes every day.
- 42:49Speaker 19: We make it to Pete the starter. So that worked today.
- 42:52Speaker 19: We'll see where we're at on Friday. What did you
- 42:55Speaker 19: think of Mark Tate as a leadoff?
- 42:57Speaker 31: I mean, it's pretty fun to get a homer on
- 42:58Speaker 31: the first at bat and, you know, then getting on
- 43:01Speaker 31: base on the air and making things happen on the bases.
- 43:04Speaker 19: So, again, you know, on Connie's off day, he stepped
- 43:08Speaker 19: in and did a great job.
- 43:09Speaker 31: But how different is that pressure batting in that spot?
- 43:13Speaker 31: You know, it's like we talk to our guys all
- 43:14Speaker 31: the time. It doesn't matter where you're hitting in the order.
- 43:16Speaker 31: Go take your at-bat. There's nothing, there's no rule book.
- 43:19Speaker 31: There's no, hey, you need to see eight pitches or
- 43:21Speaker 31: you need to take or, you know, we don't ever
- 43:24Speaker 31: prescribe how our guys should take at-bats.
- 43:26Speaker 19: They need to go be themselves.
- 43:29Speaker 31: You know, if we're one through nine trying to beat
- 43:31Speaker 31: the starter in their way, they need to know who
- 43:34Speaker 31: they are. So whether on-hill's hitting one, two, seven, just
- 43:38Speaker 31: go be on-hill. And that goes for all of our guys.
- 43:43Speaker 5: So there it is, our coverage from downtown Cleveland today.
- 43:46Speaker 5: The Guardians a winner by a final score of 4-2
- 43:50Speaker 5: as they continue to play some good baseball on this homestand.
- 43:54Speaker 5: They are now 24-21 on the season, and they will
- 43:57Speaker 5: maintain their advantage atop the American League's Central Division. Heading
- 44:02Speaker 5: into the off day tomorrow, the Angels heading back to...
- 44:05Speaker 5: Los Angeles, 16-28 on the year. Off day tomorrow, Guardians
- 44:11Speaker 5: back in action against the Reds on Friday night with

- 44:19Speaker 5: do it for our coverage here today. I want to

- 45:26Speaker 18: That it is now it is right.
- 45:28Speaker 4: Well, there we are for 10 in the afternoon news radio,
- 45:31Speaker 4: five 70 WQE and welcome. It's, uh, The 13th already.
- 45:35Speaker 4: May 13th, incidentally. Welcome, welcome. Wednesday. Guardians pick up a
- 45:40Speaker 4: victory on a nice afternoon game, to say the least.
- 45:42Speaker 4: Seems like they draw some of the better crowds when
- 45:44Speaker 4: they play these afternoon games. Just my observation. That's a
- 45:48Speaker 4: progressive field as opposed to the evening games. Anyway, it's
- 45:52Speaker 4: been a strange day. Strange day with windy conditions this morning.
- 45:56Speaker 4: Raining overnight. Windy, then cloudy. In my neck of the woods,
- 46:00Speaker 4: you know, we had a bit of a shower there
- 46:03Speaker 4: for a period of time and on and off rain.
- 46:05Speaker 4: And it's just one of those strange days, to say
- 46:08Speaker 4: the least. So it seems like it's okay now that
- 46:10Speaker 4: the showers are behind us and smooth sailing. But on

- 46:42Speaker 17: Welcome.
- 46:42Speaker 4: You're on the air.
- 46:43Speaker 10: Hello there.
- 46:45Speaker 4: Hello.
- 46:45Speaker 35: How are you?
- 46:48Speaker 4: Well, I'm pretty good because the Guardians picked up a
- 46:51Speaker 4: victory today. So that's not a bad day. That's a
- 46:54Speaker 4: good day. It's JJ the Liberal.
- 46:56Speaker 29: Yeah, it is.
- 46:56Speaker 27: It's a good day.
- 46:57Speaker 36: My parents are doing well also. And it's a nice day.
- 47:01Speaker 36: It turned out to be a nice day.
- 47:02Speaker 27: It was a little nasty this morning.
- 47:04Speaker 36: And I don't do well when it rains, right? I
- 47:06Speaker 36: get little aches and pains and stuff. And kidneys bother
- 47:10Speaker 36: me a little bit in that. But you took a
- 47:15Speaker 36: lot of people to change at you yesterday, my friend. Well,
- 47:20Speaker 36: you knocked him right out of the park. You know that.
- 47:23Speaker 4: Listen, I appreciate you saying that. And it doesn't, I
- 47:29Speaker 4: go back to say it again today and I'll say
- 47:31Speaker 4: it always. I'm not here as a cheerleader for anybody
- 47:34Speaker 4: that what I see going on as far as this
- 47:37Speaker 4: whole situation is troubling to me. I, I, I don't listen.
- 47:42Speaker 4: I think we got big problems with our economy as
- 47:45Speaker 4: a result of the situation that he's got going on
- 47:48Speaker 4: in Iran. And I, I sit back, JJ, and often
- 47:52Speaker 4: I wonder if he would have never got involved in this.
- 47:55Speaker 4: I say it again. I think Trump got involved in
- 47:57Speaker 4: this because he was sold this from Israel. And that's
- 48:00Speaker 4: why he got involved in this situation. And this is
- 48:04Speaker 4: going on. These are my views that he got involved
- 48:09Speaker 4: because of Israel. This is going on much longer than
- 48:12Speaker 4: he thought it would go on. I don't believe he
- 48:15Speaker 4: ever thought it would go on this long. It's continuing
- 48:18Speaker 4: to go on much longer than he thought it would
- 48:19Speaker 4: go on. Iran isn't rushing off to the settlement table anymore.
- 48:27Speaker 4: Where they're saying, okay, we've pretty much dropped that bunker
- 48:30Speaker 4: buster in the past. We bombed the living hell out
- 48:32Speaker 4: of them. They should be tucking their tail between their
- 48:36Speaker 4: legs and coming to the negotiating table. Well, it appears
- 48:39Speaker 4: they're not... willing to do that or it's certainly not
- 48:43Speaker 4: willing to accept the terms. So they talk about, okay, well, maybe, well,
- 48:47Speaker 4: I just have to bomb them some more. Well, I
- 48:49Speaker 4: don't know that that's going to accomplish the goal or not.
- 48:53Speaker 4: So I sit here and I say to myself, all
- 48:55Speaker 4: this is going on. If we would have never got
- 48:58Speaker 4: involved gang in this from the very beginning, can you
- 49:00Speaker 4: imagine where we would have been economically speaking? Gas was
- 49:03Speaker 4: about two 50 a gallon. The economy was going on.
- 49:07Speaker 4: Everything was going in the right direction and, as a
- 49:09Speaker 4: result of our economy. Inflation was going down, gas prices
- 49:14Speaker 4: were down, things were going in the right direction. Solely
- 49:17Speaker 4: as a result of this action that's trumped to do
- 49:20Speaker 4: in the middle east things have done a 180 uh
- 49:25Speaker 4: high gas prices are back i see them today like
- 49:27Speaker 4: 450 but they're still high gas prices uh when they
- 49:31Speaker 4: were 250 and inflation is back And just I mean,
- 49:38Speaker 4: he's destroyed his own economic recovery. So I'm not supposed
- 49:42Speaker 4: to sit here and say that a guy that's meaning that,
- 49:46Speaker 4: as I always emphasize, that doesn't mean I'm a vote
- 49:48Speaker 4: for Sherrod Brown or a Democrat. It's just my observation
- 49:51Speaker 4: that the guy destroyed his own economic recovery by doing this.
- 49:56Speaker 4: And I think it's going to take a while to
- 49:57Speaker 4: get it back on track. And I think this is
- 50:00Speaker 4: very painful for large portions of this country. Those who
- 50:03Speaker 4: think it isn't are as out of touch as Joe
- 50:06Speaker 4: Biden and the Biden administration was when they were saying
- 50:10Speaker 4: the same things that we were all critical of. When
- 50:12Speaker 4: this was going on under Biden and we were all
- 50:14Speaker 4: critical of it about the inflation and what was all happening. Well,
- 50:19Speaker 4: the same thing applies now. Equally as critical as far
- 50:22Speaker 4: as the attack on your wallets with the cost of energy,
- 50:25Speaker 4: with the cost of inflation, and what that's doing, and
- 50:30Speaker 4: we shall see. I mean, I can't help it if
- 50:32Speaker 4: people get pissed off as a result of it. I'm
- 50:35Speaker 4: not a cheerleader. I'm not going to sit here and say, well,
- 50:38Speaker 4: it was okay to criticize Biden's high gas prices and inflation,
- 50:42Speaker 4: but I shouldn't criticize Trump's high gas prices and inflation,
- 50:45Speaker 4: because Because of decisions he made. He can't lay this
- 50:49Speaker 4: on the Democrats. This is all him right now. And
- 50:51Speaker 4: who knows how much longer this thing's going to go on.
- 50:54Speaker 10: What he needs is people like you in his administration,
- 51:02Speaker 10: which are supportive, and saying, hey, listen, I want you
- 51:05Speaker 10: to succeed.
- 51:07Speaker 36: I think you're on the right path. But he doesn't
- 51:10Speaker 36: need yes-men. And that's the thing that a person who
- 51:16Speaker 36: runs a business or a person who runs a family,
- 51:18Speaker 36: a person that is in any position of power, you
- 51:21Speaker 36: need people to be constructive criticism or to say that,
- 51:27Speaker 36: you know, like I told you many months ago, and
- 51:29Speaker 36: I don't think it was based on my opinion, but
- 51:34Speaker 36: I told you at one time that you can support somebody,
- 51:37Speaker 36: support their views, support their objective, but also say you're not...
- 51:46Speaker 36: doing it the proper way, and that can be positive.
- 51:50Speaker 36: And the thing is, is that, you know, I hear,
- 51:52Speaker 36: and again, I'm not going to pick on people, but
- 51:54Speaker 36: I hear Bubba Ganesh, and I hear, yesterday, I was
- 51:56Speaker 36: very disappointed in Ted again. He was, you know, I'm
- 52:00Speaker 36: glad his leg is doing better, but now, you know, just,
- 52:03Speaker 36: he was, you're not holding any, you're not holding any,
- 52:08Speaker 36: you know, Fire, for us, you're not holding a lantern
- 52:13Speaker 36: for us. You always are critical of us and critical
- 52:16Speaker 36: of my thinking and the things that I, my views,
- 52:19Speaker 36: because you want to make it, you want to, that's
- 52:22Speaker 36: the whole idea of this program and the whole idea
- 52:24Speaker 36: of what our country is based on. And I just
- 52:27Speaker 36: saw that he disappointed me once again, saying that, you know,
- 52:31Speaker 36: that we misunderstood him.
- 52:32Speaker 4: No, we didn't.
- 52:34Speaker 36: I looked at it and listened to it three more
- 52:36Speaker 36: times today, and no, that wasn't the case. He basically said,
- 52:40Speaker 36: because of the war, have you been thinking about how
- 52:44Speaker 36: this is affecting the American people? He wasn't, you know,
- 52:50Speaker 36: beating around the bush. He wasn't whatever, you know, whatever
- 52:54Speaker 36: you could come up with.
- 52:54Speaker 37: It wasn't the case.
- 52:56Speaker 36: And then for him to say that, you know, that
- 52:58Speaker 36: you and I are, you know, that you think that
- 53:01Speaker 36: you're leading me to believe this or believe that doesn't
- 53:04Speaker 36: understand it just because I'm a Democrat doesn't make me stupid.
- 53:06Speaker 4: Right. And that's a good point. Let me just put
- 53:10Speaker 4: this out there. It doesn't matter what he said yesterday
- 53:13Speaker 4: or not. I'm just dealing with the reality of it.
- 53:16Speaker 4: And here is the reality. Perhaps the neocons want to
- 53:21Speaker 4: sell everybody on this particular situation that we're in now.
- 53:25Speaker 4: And many people were most of these people that are
- 53:28Speaker 4: talking about this situation weren't even remotely concerned or worried
- 53:32Speaker 4: about Iran and a nuclear threat at all. Till the
- 53:36Speaker 4: media dwelled on it and the neocons put out this information.
- 53:40Speaker 4: I wasn't staying up at night worried about Iran, worrying
- 53:42Speaker 4: about the nuclear weapon. I mean, we did the bunker
- 53:45Speaker 4: buster that was supposed to be the end of it.
- 53:48Speaker 4: Then we dropped all of this bombing and we're supposed
- 53:50Speaker 4: to really have wiped out all of their stuff. So
- 53:54Speaker 4: now they're talking about, well, they're still not willing to
- 53:58Speaker 4: reach an agreement. So we're just going to have to
- 54:00Speaker 4: bomb them more. well, okay, how much more are you
- 54:02Speaker 4: going to bomb them? Uh, and what makes you think
- 54:05Speaker 4: that's going to be successful? I, so I, I just
- 54:08Speaker 4: look at it. Fox news keeps saying, well, they want
- 54:11Speaker 4: to make a deal, a deal's eminence. And that hasn't
- 54:14Speaker 4: happened for weeks that they keep saying, they keep saying that, um,
- 54:20Speaker 4: he blew in smoke.
- 54:21Speaker 36: Yeah.
- 54:21Speaker 4: I mean, uh, And you can't criticize. You can't say, listen,
- 54:24Speaker 4: Trump was talked into this by Netanyahu and by Israel.
- 54:28Speaker 4: And that's why we got into this, that Trump's not
- 54:32Speaker 4: going to admit that this has gone on longer than
- 54:34Speaker 4: he thought it would go on. And it's getting difficult
- 54:36Speaker 4: to figure out how to end this or get out
- 54:39Speaker 4: of this. And is it OK? Is it OK if
- 54:42Speaker 4: this goes on?
- 54:42Speaker 36: I didn't realize how war was or something.
- 54:44Speaker 4: I mean, is it OK if this goes on six
- 54:46Speaker 4: months or a year? I mean, is that going to
- 54:50Speaker 4: be okay? Because we're ruining our economy. We are destroying
- 54:55Speaker 4: our day-to-day living for our citizens with energy prices and, correct,
- 55:02Speaker 4: and inflation. And this is because of this single action.
- 55:06Speaker 4: It is because of this move that this is happening,
- 55:09Speaker 4: and this is causing immediate pain to a large segment
- 55:13Speaker 4: of the American population.
- 55:16Speaker 10: And..
- 55:17Speaker 4: How much longer do you think they're going to sit
- 55:18Speaker 4: there and say, you should be worried more about Iran
- 55:22Speaker 4: than you are your bills or inflation or what's going
- 55:25Speaker 4: on in your household. Because that didn't work for Biden
- 55:28Speaker 4: when Biden's people tried to blow it off as, oh,
- 55:31Speaker 4: it's transitory or, oh, it didn't work. People said to hell,
- 55:35Speaker 4: and they voted Trump in and all the Republicans in. Well,
- 55:39Speaker 4: if you think that the same thing can't happen, and
- 55:41Speaker 4: like I say, I would never vote for Sherrod Brown
- 55:43Speaker 4: or Democrat, but if you don't think the public will say,
- 55:46Speaker 4: we'll vote all these guys out and try the Democrats again,
- 55:49Speaker 4: then you're fooling yourself. Exactly.
- 55:52Speaker 36: That's the thing. Like I told you one time, I
- 55:55Speaker 36: think years ago, coming up to the railroad tracks and
- 56:01Speaker 36: me seeing the crossing sign and me seeing the gates,
- 56:04Speaker 36: I don't need to see the train to know that
- 56:06Speaker 36: there's a possible train coming. So those are signs that
- 56:11Speaker 36: the Republicans need to take and heed these warnings. And,
- 56:16Speaker 36: you know, it bothered me that, you know, like a
- 56:18Speaker 36: person like Bubba Ganoush, you know, I like the guy, but,
- 56:22Speaker 36: you know, like he was saying that, you know, that
- 56:24Speaker 36: everything's perfect. And then you even said, well, we'll see
- 56:27Speaker 36: what happens Monday. And then it was the complete opposite.
- 56:30Speaker 36: And I would, I'm very surprised that he's not learning
- 56:32Speaker 36: from that, where he can still support Trump.
- 56:34Speaker 6: Right.
- 56:35Speaker 36: He can still support the, the.
- 56:37Speaker 34: Exactly, but also say that, you know, you gotta.
- 56:40Speaker 36: Be, you gotta make sure that this is, this is
- 56:43Speaker 36: a roller coaster.
- 56:43Speaker 4: And, you know, as you said, I, I, I, I,
- 56:47Speaker 4: I think you, you make a legit point. Thank you,
- 56:51Speaker 4: my friend. I appreciate it. I'll be right back.
- 56:53Speaker 1: Youngstown's news, weather, and talk station, 570 WKBN.
- 56:59Speaker 4: And your fearless leader, Ron Furp, from NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
- 57:02Speaker 4: It's almost like you've got to feel apologetic by saying, hey,
- 57:06Speaker 4: I wouldn't vote for Sherrod Brown. I'm not one of
- 57:08Speaker 4: those people that's going to say, I'll vote for the Democrats.
- 57:10Speaker 4: That's just not going to happen. But I'm not going
- 57:12Speaker 4: to sit here and say that anything Trump does, I'm
- 57:17Speaker 4: on it 100% and support it 100%. I mean, that's
- 57:21Speaker 4: just ridiculous. I scratched my head when I saw the
- 57:23Speaker 4: Democrats doing that for Joe Biden. And so where they
- 57:28Speaker 4: were making all these excuses for inflation and gas prices
- 57:32Speaker 4: and the effect that it was having on Joe bag
- 57:36Speaker 4: of donuts. They're making all of these excuses for it.
- 57:40Speaker 4: And it didn't matter. Because when Bush came to shove,
- 57:44Speaker 4: they lost everything. They lost everything in the election because people,
- 57:48Speaker 4: it is the economy, stupid. And people voted based on that.
- 57:53Speaker 4: And I suspect they will do that again if we
- 57:55Speaker 4: continue down this course. I mean, is it fair to
- 57:59Speaker 4: say this is why I believe he got into this
- 58:01Speaker 4: in the first place was because of Israel? Is it
- 58:04Speaker 4: fair to say that I honestly think this is going
- 58:06Speaker 4: on much longer than he ever thought it would go on?
- 58:09Speaker 4: That he's shocked that they haven't given in to this?
- 58:13Speaker 4: that he might have gotten some bad advice so that
- 58:16Speaker 4: they keep saying a deal's eminent but one isn't happening?
- 58:19Speaker 4: I mean, are you at the point where you don't
- 58:21Speaker 4: know who to make a deal with because so many
- 58:23Speaker 4: people have been wiped out? Or is it just that
- 58:25Speaker 4: they're not about to make a deal or the deal
- 58:27Speaker 4: that you want? And then you say, okay, we'll go
- 58:29Speaker 4: back to bombing them more. Well, we bombed a hell
- 58:32Speaker 4: of a lot now, and that doesn't seem like it's
- 58:35Speaker 4: working at the present time to get them to negotiate
- 58:39Speaker 4: with us as far as reaching an agreement. So if
- 58:41Speaker 4: we bomb them some more, I mean, how long is
- 58:43Speaker 4: this supposed to go on? The people don't want to
- 58:45Speaker 4: get involved in regime change and bog down in the
- 58:48Speaker 4: Middle East again, the expense involved in it. And they
- 58:53Speaker 4: certainly don't want soldiers deployed on the grounds. And how
- 59:00Speaker 4: successful can you be at winning a military operation without
- 59:03Speaker 4: ground troops? How successful has that been in the past?
- 59:07Speaker 4: You're on the air.
- 59:07Speaker 17: Well, good afternoon, sir. How are you?
- 59:11Speaker 6: I am well.
- 59:12Speaker 4: Well, let me just hang on. I'll let you take
- 59:15Speaker 4: it away. And that's the reality that I'm dealing with here.
- 59:20Speaker 4: I don't give a damn. Inflation is affecting everyone right now.
- 59:23Speaker 4: I keep reading the CNBC and these reports and and
- 59:26Speaker 4: the percentages that they're giving out there, if you don't
- 59:29Speaker 4: think that that isn't affecting everyone right here, right now,
- 59:33Speaker 4: and that that isn't having a big effect, and that's
- 59:35Speaker 4: what people are most concerned about, their life and what's
- 59:38Speaker 4: going on in their household, they're not worried about Iran.
- 59:41Speaker 4: Go ahead.
- 59:43Speaker 17: Well, you know, what's the old saying? The path to
- 59:46Speaker 17: hell is paved with good intentions or something like that?
- 59:49Speaker 17: And I think you're probably right. I mean, I think
- 59:52Speaker 17: he probably got involved with this thinking it would be,
- 59:55Speaker 17: you know, very quickly over and done. I think he
- 59:59Speaker 17: was a little bit on a sugar high after what
- 1:00:00Speaker 17: happened with Maduro in Venezuela. And if you look at
- 1:00:04Speaker 17: what we've done to the military, I mean, we've really beaten,
- 1:00:07Speaker 17: you know, beaten the tar.
- 1:00:08Speaker 27: Out of them.
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: But they haven't, again, they haven't reached an agreement. People
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: keep saying that.
- 1:00:14Speaker 17: Well, the problem you're going to run into is they're not,
- 1:00:16Speaker 17: and they're probably not going to. So now you've got
- 1:00:19Speaker 17: to come up with plan B. You know, very few people,
- 1:00:22Speaker 17: if you look at the wars since World War II
- 1:00:25Speaker 17: and even World War II, how many have really capitulated?
- 1:00:28Speaker 17: The North Vietnamese never capitulated. The North Koreans really didn't capitulate,
- 1:00:32Speaker 17: although we had, you know, that was, that's probably the
- 1:00:35Speaker 17: biggest misnamed war because it really was a war against China,
- 1:00:38Speaker 17: not North Korea. But, you know, that's still, there's still
- 1:00:43Speaker 17: an armistice, what, 50, 70 years later.
- 1:00:45Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:00:48Speaker 17: It's the older you break it, you bought it. And,
- 1:00:50Speaker 17: you know, I think, unfortunately, they broke it, and now
- 1:00:54Speaker 17: they're going to have to figure out what they want
- 1:00:56Speaker 17: to do with it and how to get out of
- 1:00:58Speaker 17: the mess. I think long term, like I've said all along,
- 1:01:01Speaker 17: I think long term, you know, you look 10 years
- 1:01:04Speaker 17: down the road, you're probably going to see that this
- 1:01:06Speaker 17: was the right thing to do. I don't think it's
- 1:01:08Speaker 17: going to be the invasion of Iraq in 2003 that,
- 1:01:11Speaker 17: you know, in hindsight looks like.
- 1:01:13Speaker 34: It was, A complete disaster.
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: Or it could be the exact opposite, where you destroyed
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: your presidency, your legacy, where you destroyed the American economy.
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: And don't forget, hurting a lot of economies in the
- 1:01:24Speaker 4: rest of the world. Because farmers are paying, if they
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: can get fertilizer, paying way more for it. It's hurting
- 1:01:30Speaker 4: our farmers in our country. But you're going to see
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: other areas where you're going to have starvation in many
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: of these countries and major problems in a lot of them.
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: It's not just America and Iran. It has got global
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: effects to it as a result of this decision. Stand by, Rich.
- 1:01:45Speaker 4: I'll come right back to you and hear your thoughts
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: and more of your thoughts. We're here tonight till 7,
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: Ron Verp from the Kingdom of Mahoning.
- 1:01:53Speaker 36: Yeah.
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: Let me get back to Rich. I just hate to
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: see where... I put those thoughts out there. I mean,
- 1:01:59Speaker 4: where would this economy be if he would have never
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: got involved in this when gas was at 250? And
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: where would this economy be and inflation be? And things
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: could be soaring right now. And that's the American first program.
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: And could we be getting more people out of the
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: country that are here illegally? Just think of what where
- 1:02:18Speaker 4: the agenda is. could possibly be as opposed to where
- 1:02:22Speaker 4: it is now with a prayer and a hope of
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: oh this will be over soon which i've been hearing
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: for the longest period of time and when it does
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: don't worry everything you get back to normal and to
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: get you know oil prices have come down and gas
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: prices have come down and then i'm reading on some
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: of the financial pages oh no they're not going to
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: come down like that because there's actually an oil shortage
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: it has to be picked up a lot of what's
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: going on is depletion of oil reserves in places like
- 1:02:46Speaker 4: China and the United States and what have you, and
- 1:02:50Speaker 4: that's what's kind of keeping prices somewhat where they are
- 1:02:53Speaker 4: right now. Well, when that stops, it could just be
- 1:02:58Speaker 4: a mess that takes a while to fix.
- 1:03:01Speaker 27: Well, yeah, I won't argue with that.
- 1:03:05Speaker 17: What's really kind of strange, though, is how disconnected the
- 1:03:09Speaker 17: market is. to what's actually happening.
- 1:03:11Speaker 4: But isn't that always the case? If I said to you, Rich,
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: and I've said it for years, so I've got to
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: be fair, Main Street and Wall Street are two different entities.
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: They really are. I mean, I've seen it in the past.
- 1:03:23Speaker 4: Even under Biden, the market soared when we had horrible
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: situations on Main Street.
- 1:03:31Speaker 17: Yeah, but the market's supposed to be forward-looking. It's supposed
- 1:03:34Speaker 17: to look at where economic activity is going to be
- 1:03:36Speaker 17: six months to a year from now. and reflect that
- 1:03:39Speaker 17: in today's prices. It's anticipatory of what's going to happen
- 1:03:42Speaker 17: in the future. And, I mean, as of right now,
- 1:03:45Speaker 17: I mean, it doesn't look like this is going to
- 1:03:47Speaker 17: wrap up anytime soon, in my opinion. I just don't
- 1:03:50Speaker 17: think you've got anybody in Iran that can make a deal.
- 1:03:54Speaker 17: I think that's the problem they're running into, is they
- 1:03:56Speaker 17: just don't have anybody to make a deal with, because
- 1:03:59Speaker 17: the religious nutjobs with the guns aren't going to capitulate.
- 1:04:03Speaker 17: No different than the North Vietnamese never capitulated. The Japanese
- 1:04:07Speaker 17: wouldn't have if we didn't nuke them. You're just not
- 1:04:10Speaker 17: dealing with people that think the way we do. And
- 1:04:15Speaker 17: most of the world is like that, so that's nothing unusual.
- 1:04:19Speaker 17: So assuming this thing doesn't wrap up quickly, which I
- 1:04:24Speaker 17: don't think it's going to, You have to figure economic
- 1:04:27Speaker 17: growth six months to a year from now is a
- 1:04:30Speaker 17: lot worse than what the market is currently reflecting. The
- 1:04:36Speaker 17: funny thing is, as John Arnold always said, we don't
- 1:04:37Speaker 17: really have a market anymore. I think it's more of
- 1:04:41Speaker 17: a casino.
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: It's manipulated. What John Arnold and those guys say, it's
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: major manipulation. I mean, would you not agree that there's
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: a lot of people making a lot of money on
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: this situation because they're tipped off and they're buying their
- 1:04:55Speaker 4: shortened stuff or they're getting into it? It's almost like
- 1:04:58Speaker 4: there's a two-tier system when it comes to the stock market.
- 1:05:01Speaker 4: Everybody else and these insiders that you see that are
- 1:05:04Speaker 4: making all these deals on inside information.
- 1:05:08Speaker 17: Yeah, I don't think that's anything new, though. I think
- 1:05:10Speaker 17: that's been going on for decades and decades, probably since
- 1:05:13Speaker 17: the market began, actually. If you go back and you read–
- 1:05:18Speaker 17: I was reading a book on– Oh, God, not Rockefellers.
- 1:05:23Speaker 17: It was Rockefellers, the Rockefeller-found families. I mean, if you
- 1:05:25Speaker 17: look at some of the stuff that went on in
- 1:05:27Speaker 17: the 1880s and stuff like that, it's a lot better
- 1:05:30Speaker 17: now than what it was. You know, there's not nearly
- 1:05:32Speaker 17: enough cornering the market and stuff that used to have.
- 1:05:34Speaker 17: But I just think that this isn't going to end
- 1:05:38Speaker 17: anytime soon because there's nobody to make a deal with.
- 1:05:42Speaker 17: I think that's the issue that he's running into. But
- 1:05:44Speaker 17: I would like to point out something where I think
- 1:05:47Speaker 17: I'm starting to be proven right and you and G2
- 1:05:49Speaker 17: were proven wrong on something.
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: Oh, I want to hear it.
- 1:05:52Speaker 17: And that's the war in Ukraine. Because Putin right now
- 1:05:56Speaker 17: is in a very bad space. You would think, I
- 1:05:59Speaker 17: think it was the Polish prime minister was quoted recently
- 1:06:02Speaker 17: as saying, why are we asking a country of 300 million,
- 1:06:05Speaker 17: referring to the United States, to help a continent of
- 1:06:10Speaker 17: 600 million, which is Europe, Defeat a country of 160 million,
- 1:06:14Speaker 17: which is Russia. That was a statement he made recently.
- 1:06:18Speaker 17: Why are we asking the United States when we've got
- 1:06:20Speaker 17: 600 million people here and Russia's only 180? But the
- 1:06:23Speaker 17: Ukrainians have scrapped and clawed and adapted, and they're kind
- 1:06:28Speaker 17: of taking the fight to Russia right now. I don't
- 1:06:31Speaker 17: know if you saw, I think it was over the
- 1:06:34Speaker 17: May Day parade weekend that they had in Russia last weekend,
- 1:06:37Speaker 17: where Putin... sort of big trump to get a ceasefire
- 1:06:40Speaker 17: put in place and said you know i think this
- 1:06:42Speaker 17: thing's just about over because if you start reading some
- 1:06:45Speaker 17: articles out there wall street journal there's you know international
- 1:06:48Speaker 17: media al-jazeera others even a rough place at home the
- 1:06:52Speaker 17: people in russia really really start to turn on him
- 1:06:55Speaker 17: and get and get you know he either there it's
- 1:06:59Speaker 17: questionable whether he there there are coups there there may
- 1:07:01Speaker 17: be a coup attempt against him or a war you
- 1:07:03Speaker 17: know uprising and things like that when things go bad
- 1:07:05Speaker 17: in russia it doesn't usually happens slowly, it usually is
- 1:07:09Speaker 17: all of a sudden, you know, today it's fine, and
- 1:07:11Speaker 17: tomorrow all hell breaks loose. But I think, and I
- 1:07:16Speaker 17: told you then, I thought it was the right thing
- 1:07:18Speaker 17: to do to support Ukraine. I didn't support giving them
- 1:07:21Speaker 17: as much money as we were doing, but giving them
- 1:07:23Speaker 17: the weapons or selling them the weapons, now at least
- 1:07:25Speaker 17: we're doing it, we're selling the Europeans the weapons. So
- 1:07:28Speaker 17: it's not really costing us what it was the first
- 1:07:30Speaker 17: two years that Sleepy Joe had it.
- 1:07:32Speaker 4: Well, what about the experts?
- 1:07:34Speaker 17: That's another war, though, that's going to end up. If
- 1:07:36Speaker 17: Ukraine can stand tall and survive this, and Russia just
- 1:07:40Speaker 17: sort of strikes a deal, and they'll probably keep what
- 1:07:42Speaker 17: they have but not get any more.
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: How many years has that gone on, though? How many years?
- 1:07:47Speaker 4: We're not talking months now.
- 1:07:48Speaker 17: It's been over four years. They've actually— Russia has been fighting
- 1:07:51Speaker 17: Ukraine longer than it took them to defeat the Nazis
- 1:07:53Speaker 17: in World War II.
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: Right, so— That's how long.
- 1:07:55Speaker 17: That war's going on. And— And they've suffered over a
- 1:08:00Speaker 17: million casualties, injured and wounded.
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: But look at Ukraine.
- 1:08:03Speaker 17: And a country of 160 million. So you stop and
- 1:08:06Speaker 17: think about how many people in Russia have kids that
- 1:08:10Speaker 17: are in their 20s and 30s who are either coming
- 1:08:13Speaker 17: back severely wounded or aren't coming back because they're in
- 1:08:17Speaker 17: a hole in the ground.
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: And likewise for Ukraine. It's a lot of death. Likewise
- 1:08:23Speaker 4: for Ukraine. Ukraine is destroyed. I mean, it's just destroyed.
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: And the death toll there is devastating, with no end
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: in sight. And I would almost make the argument, with
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: all the weapons that we provided to the Ukraine, the
- 1:08:40Speaker 4: ones that we gave them in the past, and that
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: they bought from us, and with all the weapons that
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: we are using in the situation going on now in Iran...
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: I wonder how our stockpile of weapons really is at
- 1:08:54Speaker 4: this point in time. I'm sure they will never say anything,
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: but there's no way that you can't. say that that's
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: got to be severely depleted.
- 1:09:04Speaker 17: One thing both of these wars has shown the U.S.
- 1:09:06Speaker 17: military is you can't take a $ 40, 000 Iranian Shahid drone,
- 1:09:13Speaker 17: and the Russians are using those too. Iran gave and
- 1:09:17Speaker 17: sold a bunch of those to Iran. to Russia to
- 1:09:19Speaker 17: use against the Ukrainians. You can't take a drone that
- 1:09:22Speaker 17: is costing $ 40, 000 to produce and use a $ 2 million
- 1:09:26Speaker 17: missile to knock it out of the sky, especially when
- 1:09:28Speaker 17: that missile takes, you know, you can maybe produce, what, 30,
- 1:09:32Speaker 17: 40 of them a month? So they're going to have
- 1:09:34Speaker 17: to really look into, the Ukraine war to me is
- 1:09:39Speaker 17: fascinating because I've followed it pretty closely for the last
- 1:09:41Speaker 17: four years. And warfare before the Ukraine war and warfare
- 1:09:46Speaker 17: after the Ukraine war is going to be a totally different,
- 1:09:51Speaker 17: The days of the tank are done. The Russians have
- 1:09:55Speaker 17: lost 4,000-plus tanks in this conflict. Pretty much every tank
- 1:09:59Speaker 17: that the Ukrainians had is gone, and most of the
- 1:10:01Speaker 17: Western ones.
- 1:10:02Speaker 4: Why don't you tell me when it's going to end then?
- 1:10:06Speaker 4: How much longer is that going.
- 1:10:07Speaker 19: To go on?
- 1:10:08Speaker 17: Well, then, once again, you know, the Ukrainians are not
- 1:10:12Speaker 17: going to surrender, and the Russians can't run over them.
- 1:10:14Speaker 4: They've tried for four.
- 1:10:15Speaker 17: Years to run over them, and they're not going to.
- 1:10:17Speaker 4: So, do you think it's okay if it goes on
- 1:10:19Speaker 4: another five years?
- 1:10:20Speaker 17: I don't think it will, because I don't think the
- 1:10:23Speaker 17: Russian people are going to tolerate it.
- 1:10:25Speaker 4: No, but my point is..
- 1:10:26Speaker 17: The Ukrainians are, because they're defending their own land.
- 1:10:28Speaker 4: Well, it's their land, of course. Well, there's a couple
- 1:10:31Speaker 4: of different things. It's their land, and the proximity of
- 1:10:34Speaker 4: it to Russia is very close. It's much different than
- 1:10:37Speaker 4: this situation with Iran, where it's nowhere close to the
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: United States, and getting military equipment there is difficult at best.
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: And some of our so-called allies there don't want us
- 1:10:50Speaker 4: operating out of our bases there anymore, where they're turning
- 1:10:54Speaker 4: on us to say, get out. in the Middle East region.
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: It's going to be interesting to see what happens. I mean,
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: one can argue Russia's close to Ukraine, and that's their homeland.
- 1:11:06Speaker 4: So it's much easier, I guess, for both sides than
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: it is for the United States to deal with Iran,
- 1:11:11Speaker 4: which is so far away. And it's a whole difficult situation.
- 1:11:19Speaker 4: I don't believe the American people will tolerate this going
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: on a year.
- 1:11:24Speaker 17: I agree with you. Although they tolerated Vietnam for, what, nine?
- 1:11:28Speaker 17: It took forever to get out of Vietnam.
- 1:11:29Speaker 4: What was the lesson of Vietnam?
- 1:11:31Speaker 18: No.
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: What was the lesson of all the stuff in the
- 1:11:33Speaker 4: Middle East? Do you think the American people are going
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: to say, let's continue another endless war in the Middle
- 1:11:38Speaker 4: East for a period of time? If you haven't learned
- 1:11:42Speaker 4: from this situation, I don't know that you'll ever be successful.
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: I always hear some of these people argue, you can't
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: win an operation like this without boots on the ground. Well,
- 1:11:53Speaker 4: that's the last thing people want.
- 1:11:55Speaker 17: The lesson for us, I think, has to be, you know,
- 1:11:58Speaker 17: enough of... Listen to what Washington said in his farewell address,
- 1:12:03Speaker 17: where he said, you know, beware foreign entanglements.
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:12:06Speaker 17: He knew, you know, just stick with your... Mind your
- 1:12:08Speaker 17: own business, stay in your country, and let the rest
- 1:12:11Speaker 17: of the world worry about the rest of the world.
- 1:12:13Speaker 4: But you don't see..
- 1:12:14Speaker 17: That was his wisdom.
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: You don't see China getting involved in any of this
- 1:12:18Speaker 4: stuff as far as they are concerned. They're concentrating on just...
- 1:12:22Speaker 4: Winning everything economically. I mean, they're not doing this kind
- 1:12:26Speaker 4: of stuff. And I think America should stop doing this
- 1:12:29Speaker 4: kind of stuff. I mean, it is. He has single-handedly
- 1:12:34Speaker 4: destroyed this economy at this point in time. And as
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: this goes on, it will get worse. I mean, the thought.
- 1:12:42Speaker 17: The retail inflation number today came out, I think, was 6%.
- 1:12:44Speaker 17: The retail inflation yesterday was, what, over 4%. Right.
- 1:12:47Speaker 18: Right.
- 1:12:48Speaker 17: And if it keeps getting worse, I mean, it's going
- 1:12:52Speaker 17: to be an ugly November for the Republican Party. It's
- 1:12:55Speaker 17: going to be really.
- 1:12:56Speaker 4: And I hate to say this, Republicans, not with my votes,
- 1:13:00Speaker 4: but I understand it if it will, because the same
- 1:13:02Speaker 4: thing happened to the Democrats when they ignored the financial
- 1:13:06Speaker 4: situation that people are going through and made excuses for it.
- 1:13:09Speaker 4: And what did people say? No, not living like this.
- 1:13:12Speaker 4: All right. Appreciate it. Thank you. Rich, the pharmacist, you're
- 1:13:18Speaker 4: on the air.
- 1:13:20Speaker 10: Yep.
- 1:13:20Speaker 18: How are you doing, Ron?
- 1:13:22Speaker 6: Good, sir.
- 1:13:22Speaker 17: Go ahead.
- 1:13:24Speaker 18: Well, I was thinking, you know, just like a lot
- 1:13:26Speaker 18: of people were saying about Iran, you either deal with
- 1:13:30Speaker 18: them now while the people there are, like, protesting and
- 1:13:34Speaker 18: rebelling against them, or you deal with them another time
- 1:13:37Speaker 18: where they eliminate their protesters and the internal, you know,
- 1:13:42Speaker 18: problems they have. So what do you want to do?
- 1:13:45Speaker 18: You want to give, you know... I ran time to
- 1:13:48Speaker 18: get with maybe Russia, China, get a nuke, and then
- 1:13:52Speaker 18: they attack us. They attack Israel first, and then they
- 1:13:55Speaker 18: attack us. No, they need to be taken care of now.
- 1:13:58Speaker 18: So it's a problem that, in my belief, is that
- 1:14:02Speaker 18: if you don't take care of it now, you're going
- 1:14:03Speaker 18: to have a bigger problem later. But, you know, to
- 1:14:07Speaker 18: compare what the Democrats were doing four years prior to Trump, they.
- 1:14:12Speaker 17: Were taxing the crap out of us. I mean, we
- 1:14:15Speaker 17: were high inflation, this and that.
- 1:14:16Speaker 18: Where was that money going? It was getting stolen out
- 1:14:19Speaker 18: of Minnesota and California and Democrat cities like that.
- 1:14:24Speaker 17: That's federal money.
- 1:14:25Speaker 27: We all put into that.
- 1:14:26Speaker 4: For our own benefit. You've got to tap the brakes.
- 1:14:28Speaker 4: It's getting stolen out of Republican states, including Ohio as well.
- 1:14:33Speaker 18: Because cities are being run by Democrats. You know, I understand,
- 1:14:38Speaker 18: but you've got a Republican state, but you've got cities
- 1:14:41Speaker 18: that are run by Democrats.
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: Yeah, but we're talking here in the state of Ohio
- 1:14:45Speaker 4: and the amount of Medicaid fraud here in Ohio. And
- 1:14:48Speaker 4: this is a Republican state.
- 1:14:50Speaker 18: And you have cities that are blue, even though it's
- 1:14:53Speaker 18: a red state. So, yeah, there's fraud all over the place.
- 1:14:58Speaker 18: And what the Democrats did was, you know, it was
- 1:15:01Speaker 18: like on steroids.
- 1:15:03Speaker 27: You know what I mean?
- 1:15:04Speaker 18: All that thieving they were doing in Minnesota, it's just
- 1:15:06Speaker 18: the tip of the iceberg. But what I'm getting at
- 1:15:09Speaker 18: is during the four years that Biden was raising inflation,
- 1:15:14Speaker 18: they were having a good time on our money. Right
- 1:15:17Speaker 18: now we're experiencing inflation because.
- 1:15:20Speaker 27: There's a problem.
- 1:15:21Speaker 18: It's called Iran. And they were really close to getting
- 1:15:24Speaker 18: a nuke. And what do you think they're going to
- 1:15:26Speaker 18: do when they finally get a nuke? Have we just said,
- 1:15:29Speaker 18: you know what, let's mind our own business and, you know,
- 1:15:31Speaker 18: get gas.
- 1:15:32Speaker 27: At $ 1.
- 1:15:33Speaker 18: 85 like it was the first time he was president?
- 1:15:35Speaker 18: We're not worried about that. They get a nuke and
- 1:15:37Speaker 18: they come over here.
- 1:15:38Speaker 27: Guess what?
- 1:15:39Speaker 18: We're all going to be speaking Arabic.
- 1:15:42Speaker 27: No, we're not.
- 1:15:43Speaker 4: No, we're not. I happen to agree with G2' s assessment.
- 1:15:45Speaker 4: If you believe for one minute, that even if Iran
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: had a nuclear weapon..
- 1:15:49Speaker 27: I don't believe that.
- 1:15:50Speaker 4: No, you didn't even let me finish my thought that
- 1:15:54Speaker 4: I was going to say. I didn't finish what I
- 1:15:56Speaker 4: was saying to you before you... As he said, if
- 1:15:59Speaker 4: you believe for one minute that Iran getting a nuclear
- 1:16:01Speaker 4: weapon would launch it or do something against the United States,
- 1:16:05Speaker 4: we would obliterate them in the blink of an eye.
- 1:16:07Speaker 4: And they know that as well, because no matter what
- 1:16:09Speaker 4: they have, it is nowhere close to what we have
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: here to deal with that. OK, now their argument is,
- 1:16:18Speaker 4: which I wish I could remember which Kennedy brothers said it.
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: You have to understand your enemy and what they're thinking
- 1:16:25Speaker 4: when you get in these conflicts. So you've got to
- 1:16:29Speaker 4: first realize they have a whole different culture than you.
- 1:16:32Speaker 4: They don't think like you. They don't want to be you.
- 1:16:36Speaker 4: So this idea of..
- 1:16:38Speaker 34: So don't have past experience with us.
- 1:16:40Speaker 4: No, I'm going to answer your question.
- 1:16:41Speaker 27: They have people giving them pallets of money.
- 1:16:43Speaker 4: You're talking about the protesters, the protesters. Well, guess what?
- 1:16:46Speaker 18: The protesters are against that shrewd law. They actually converted
- 1:16:51Speaker 18: to Christianity there. They're sick of what they've been experiencing
- 1:16:55Speaker 18: for almost 50 years now. They're sick of what's going on.
- 1:16:59Speaker 27: And now, you know, the idea was, well, hey.
- 1:17:03Speaker 18: We'll take out their armies and their military and that.
- 1:17:06Speaker 18: Hopefully the inside, you know, the people.
- 1:17:08Speaker 27: That live there, they're going to uprise.
- 1:17:10Speaker 18: It ain't happening.
- 1:17:12Speaker 19: Of course it's not.
- 1:17:13Speaker 27: You know, a bad bill of goods.
- 1:17:15Speaker 18: You know, in other words, there's something that has to
- 1:17:18Speaker 18: happen internally somehow.
- 1:17:20Speaker 29: It ain't just us.
- 1:17:23Speaker 4: Well, aren't you making a lot of assumptions? You don't
- 1:17:26Speaker 4: know how many people there are perfectly comfortable with the
- 1:17:29Speaker 4: system as it is versus some of the people who
- 1:17:32Speaker 4: are not. Remember, the protesters started protesting until they started
- 1:17:35Speaker 4: shooting them between the eyes. And guess what the protesters
- 1:17:38Speaker 4: did at that point? They stopped protesting. Exactly. Because they
- 1:17:43Speaker 4: were killing them right then and there. So this idea
- 1:17:46Speaker 4: that you still got the military in Iran... Are you
- 1:17:53Speaker 4: going to go out and protest knowing how they deal
- 1:17:56Speaker 4: with protesters over there? Are you going to go out
- 1:17:59Speaker 4: and take a stand in the street?
- 1:18:01Speaker 18: I don't blame them at all, but my philosophy is
- 1:18:04Speaker 18: let's just get the job over with.
- 1:18:06Speaker 4: Well, how do you get it over with?
- 1:18:07Speaker 18: I've been living in a cave somewhere with that kind
- 1:18:10Speaker 18: of mentality. And all they want to do is.
- 1:18:13Speaker 34: Tell me to go out and destroy it.
- 1:18:15Speaker 4: Well, how do you get it over with? So you say,
- 1:18:17Speaker 4: let's get the job over with.
- 1:18:19Speaker 18: Put the boots on the ground, but you ain't got
- 1:18:22Speaker 18: a Congress that's going to help you out there. You
- 1:18:24Speaker 18: need boots on the ground, get this taken care of,
- 1:18:26Speaker 18: and put it to sleep. Because these are like people
- 1:18:29Speaker 18: throwing rocks at people that have a real military. And
- 1:18:33Speaker 18: what they've been accustomed to for the last 47 years
- 1:18:37Speaker 18: is people have catered to them or ignored them, and
- 1:18:41Speaker 18: they're used to that. And they will take advantage of that.
- 1:18:45Speaker 18: Now they hit a brick wall with Trump, and they think, well,
- 1:18:49Speaker 18: sooner or later, he's not going to be president, and
- 1:18:52Speaker 18: we'll get somebody in there that will just cater to
- 1:18:55Speaker 18: us all over again. But this time, we're coming. In
- 1:18:59Speaker 18: my mind, that's their mentality.
- 1:19:01Speaker 17: They think they could take.
- 1:19:03Speaker 6: Us over time.
- 1:19:04Speaker 4: Well, here would be my speculation on everything you said.
- 1:19:11Speaker 4: I don't believe they can take the United States ever.
- 1:19:13Speaker 10: I don't either.
- 1:19:14Speaker 4: No, you just said it. You just said that's what
- 1:19:18Speaker 4: you thought they would be thinking.
- 1:19:20Speaker 18: No, I think that's how they think, because they've been
- 1:19:24Speaker 18: treated like that, with pallets of money, ignored every time
- 1:19:28Speaker 18: they kill our guys. They've killed plenty of Americans over
- 1:19:32Speaker 18: 47 years. Even during the Iraq War, they would cross
- 1:19:36Speaker 18: that border and shoot our guys, and W didn't answer
- 1:19:41Speaker 18: back just to show us that they can do that.
- 1:19:44Speaker 18: In other words, to intimidate the United States. They were
- 1:19:48Speaker 18: doing that during the Iraq War. They were killing our guys.
- 1:19:51Speaker 4: How has it worked out for us? Let me ask
- 1:19:53Speaker 4: you this. How successful have we been in the Middle East?
- 1:20:00Speaker 18: Well... How successful have we been?
- 1:20:06Speaker 4: I'm asking you just based on the history. How successful
- 1:20:09Speaker 4: have we been since Vietnam? Let me go back that far.
- 1:20:13Speaker 18: Well, we're in Vietnam.
- 1:20:17Speaker 4: We lost Vietnam.
- 1:20:20Speaker 10: Okay.
- 1:20:21Speaker 4: Would you not agree that many people will fight a
- 1:20:23Speaker 4: lot harder than others when it's their homeland, when it's
- 1:20:26Speaker 4: where they live? Would you not agree with that? Stand
- 1:20:29Speaker 4: by for a minute. Just hang on. I'll come back
- 1:20:30Speaker 4: to you in a minute. Talk more with him and
- 1:20:32Speaker 4: more of your calls ahead. News Radio 570 WKBN and
- 1:20:39Speaker 4: we're on 454 in the afternoon. I'm just saying, if
- 1:20:42Speaker 4: you look at, we haven't, when you're fighting an enemy
- 1:20:46Speaker 4: where that's their homeland, their country, it's much different than
- 1:20:50Speaker 4: when you're the visitor going there to try to deal
- 1:20:52Speaker 4: with it, particularly when it's far away from your Your homeland.
- 1:20:58Speaker 4: We saw that in Vietnam. We saw that in Afghanistan.
- 1:21:01Speaker 4: We see that in the Middle East in general. It's
- 1:21:03Speaker 4: a long ways away from where..
- 1:21:05Speaker 27: I was at Iraq.
- 1:21:07Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:21:07Speaker 27: We were successful, right?
- 1:21:09Speaker 4: No, I don't know that we were successful in anything
- 1:21:11Speaker 4: in the Middle East.
- 1:21:11Speaker 18: Well, then they changed regimes, and of course they let,
- 1:21:14Speaker 18: you know, Obama let ISIS take over Iraq.
- 1:21:19Speaker 6: I mean..
- 1:21:20Speaker 4: I just look, it's been a disaster in most of these.
- 1:21:24Speaker 13: And, you know, Iraq at.
- 1:21:25Speaker 18: One time was beating the crap out of Iran. And
- 1:21:29Speaker 18: we took Iraq out. So I don't think it's impossible.
- 1:21:34Speaker 27: Not for us. It's not impossible.
- 1:21:38Speaker 4: Well, we shall see. I mean, as this drags on,
- 1:21:41Speaker 4: what is possible is that we can destroy the American economy.
- 1:21:44Speaker 4: And there's big ramifications for that, which will be of
- 1:21:48Speaker 4: more immediate concern than somebody worrying about a nuclear weapon
- 1:21:51Speaker 4: with Iran.
- 1:21:53Speaker 18: Well, they said before this started, they were just weeks
- 1:21:55Speaker 18: away from having a bomb. You know, when this all started.
- 1:21:59Speaker 4: If you believe them. I mean, they also... I mean,
- 1:22:02Speaker 4: who do we know.
- 1:22:04Speaker 18: Personally that can say that that wasn't the case?
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: Well, they also told you it was done and over
- 1:22:09Speaker 4: with with the bunker buster. Don't worry about it. Everything's buried.
- 1:22:12Speaker 4: It's all done and over with. Well, what do you
- 1:22:14Speaker 4: want to believe? Which one is the truth? I mean,
- 1:22:21Speaker 4: you know, is it... Why did it change from the
- 1:22:23Speaker 4: bunker buster to where it is now? Do you think it...
- 1:22:28Speaker 4: Do you think Iran is more of a threat to
- 1:22:29Speaker 4: Israel or to the United States? Do you think maybe the..
- 1:22:34Speaker 18: It goes both ways. I think it's Israel and then
- 1:22:36Speaker 18: the United States. If they can take out Israel, they
- 1:22:40Speaker 18: could partner up with Russia or China, North Korea, and
- 1:22:45Speaker 18: then we'd have a real problem.
- 1:22:46Speaker 4: I don't see Russia and China trying to partner up
- 1:22:48Speaker 4: with them as far as going and assisting them. China
- 1:22:54Speaker 4: pretty well minds its own business as far as getting
- 1:22:57Speaker 4: involved in things. They might get involved in it by
- 1:23:00Speaker 4: providing some equipment or something, but they stay pretty much
- 1:23:04Speaker 4: to themselves.
- 1:23:04Speaker 18: Weren't they already accused of helping them out with some equipment?
- 1:23:08Speaker 4: Yeah, but you don't see them putting troops anywhere, do you?
- 1:23:13Speaker 18: No, you don't.
- 1:23:14Speaker 4: They're just kind of saying, we're going to just kind
- 1:23:16Speaker 4: of continue on here. and win the war economically, win
- 1:23:21Speaker 4: the economic war, is kind of what their philosophy is.
- 1:23:24Speaker 18: And this is my philosophy, and I believe it.
- 1:23:27Speaker 4: Okay, but do you believe that the American people will
- 1:23:30Speaker 4: tolerate huge inflation that's back again, and energy prices that
- 1:23:36Speaker 4: are back again?
- 1:23:37Speaker 18: And again, if we look and see why these prices
- 1:23:41Speaker 18: are going up compared to the Democrats, you had nothing
- 1:23:44Speaker 18: to show for it. It was like taxation without representation.
- 1:23:47Speaker 18: They were stealing our money all over the country. They
- 1:23:49Speaker 18: were having a good time with it. We had nothing.
- 1:23:52Speaker 4: So in your opinion, people will tolerate high prices for this?
- 1:23:57Speaker 18: No, I'm not saying that either. I'm thinking you need
- 1:24:01Speaker 18: to split hairs with this. There was one way where
- 1:24:04Speaker 18: they inflated cost of living, and now there's another here
- 1:24:09Speaker 18: that's actually protecting America. It's protecting our interests, and it's
- 1:24:15Speaker 18: protecting us. They weren't doing nothing to protect us. They
- 1:24:18Speaker 18: were opening up the borders. With that tax money, they
- 1:24:20Speaker 18: were giving it to illegals. These illegals were all over America,
- 1:24:24Speaker 18: like terrorists, killing people. I mean, that's where our tax
- 1:24:28Speaker 18: money was going.
- 1:24:30Speaker 34: Now we don't have that.
- 1:24:31Speaker 18: The borders shut down. There's a nuclear weapon from Iran,
- 1:24:37Speaker 18: and we're addressing the problem.
- 1:24:40Speaker 4: All right, I'll put it out there, see what people say.
- 1:24:42Speaker 29: Like I said, if you don't deal with.
- 1:24:44Speaker 18: Them now, you may have to deal with them another
- 1:24:46Speaker 18: time when they're more powerful.
- 1:24:48Speaker 4: All right, NewsRadio 570, Dodie Cummings. Kind of an argument
- 1:24:51Speaker 4: that they used in Vietnam. Oh, if we let that happen,
- 1:24:53Speaker 4: it's going to be the domino effect.
- 1:25:00Speaker 38: From ABC News, I'm Lindsay Davis, anchor of Prime, streaming
- 1:25:05Speaker 38: weeknights on ABC News Live. The economic pressure from the
- 1:25:08Speaker 38: war with Iran is weighing on Americans, paying more for groceries, gas,
- 1:25:12Speaker 38: and energy. Inflation at the wholesale level surged last month
- 1:25:15Speaker 38: by 6% compared to a year ago. In Los Angeles,
- 1:25:18Speaker 38: at a food distribution event, Jose Torres says his family
- 1:25:21Speaker 38: is trying to make ends meet.
- 1:25:22Speaker 4: It's really bad. That's why we're here.
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: Prices are going sky high.
- 1:25:27Speaker 6: Everything's really pricey, even the gas and everything.
- 1:25:32Speaker 4: So it makes it a little bit hard.
- 1:25:34Speaker 38: Inflation along with trade and the Iran conflict will be
- 1:25:36Speaker 38: on the agenda in Beijing. President Trump received a red
- 1:25:39Speaker 38: carpet welcome and is set to hold summit talks with
- 1:25:41Speaker 38: China's leader. ABC's Selena Wang has more.
- 1:25:44Speaker 39: The Trump administration prior to this trip has made it
- 1:25:46Speaker 39: clear that they want Beijing to use their leverage over
- 1:25:48Speaker 39: Tehran to convince Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
- 1:25:52Speaker 39: But what I'm hearing from experts is that China doesn't
- 1:25:54Speaker 39: want to get drawn too deeply into this. They're happy
- 1:25:57Speaker 39: to encourage an end to this war. They would prefer
- 1:25:59Speaker 39: that it ends, but they don't want to get too
- 1:26:02Speaker 39: involved because they really see this as America's problem to solve.
- 1:26:05Speaker 38: The Senate confirmed the nomination for Kevin Warsh today, clearing
- 1:26:08Speaker 38: the final hurdle to become the new Federal Reserve chair.
- 1:26:11Speaker 38: In Utah, a judge sentenced Corey Richens to life in
- 1:26:14Speaker 38: prison today without parole. The mother and wife was convicted
- 1:26:17Speaker 38: of fatally lacing her husband's drink with fentanyl.
- 1:26:19Speaker 11: Moments after Corey Richens spoke to the court with a
- 1:26:22Speaker 11: message for her three children.
- 1:26:24Speaker 1: I did not abandon you.
- 1:26:25Speaker 11: The judge handed down her sentence after a jury convicted
- 1:26:29Speaker 11: Richens of killing her husband for life insurance money by
- 1:26:32Speaker 11: serving him a fentanyl-tainted cocktail in bed.
- 1:26:35Speaker 5: The court hereby sentences you to life without parole.
- 1:26:39Speaker 11: Richens maintains her innocence. Her attorneys told the court they
- 1:26:42Speaker 11: plan to move for a new trial. Alex Stone, ABC News.
- 1:26:46Speaker 38: Health officials are monitoring three dozen people across the U.S.
- 1:26:49Speaker 38: exposed to hantavirus. It includes cruise ship passengers who remain
- 1:26:52Speaker 38: in quarantine centers in Nebraska and Georgia. You're listening to
- 1:26:56Speaker 38: ABC News.
- 1:27:00Speaker 4: You understand some of the Trump supporters can be critical
- 1:27:04Speaker 4: of things that are going on and saying, well, why
- 1:27:06Speaker 4: the 180? All of a sudden. And they point that
- 1:27:09Speaker 4: out when he changed in a blink of an eye
- 1:27:12Speaker 4: on the releasing Epstein files. And many of the supporters
- 1:27:16Speaker 4: were saying, well, wait a minute now. You ran on it.
- 1:27:18Speaker 4: This should all be out there and not a two-tier
- 1:27:20Speaker 4: system of justice. And then when it came time, you
- 1:27:24Speaker 4: started saying, no, you still dwell on that. That's old news.
- 1:27:28Speaker 4: All of a sudden, there was a flip on your
- 1:27:30Speaker 4: stance on the Epstein files, many of the critics are saying,
- 1:27:34Speaker 4: that supported Trump and are concerned about it. Just like
- 1:27:37Speaker 4: when he said you shouldn't get bogged down in endless
- 1:27:39Speaker 4: wars in the Middle East and regime changes. I mean,
- 1:27:43Speaker 4: just quoting Trump to Trump, you can't get involved in
- 1:27:45Speaker 4: these regime changes. We're not successful at them and get
- 1:27:48Speaker 4: involved in these endless wars. And now many of his
- 1:27:51Speaker 4: supporters are saying now he's doing a 180 on that.
- 1:27:53Speaker 4: 180 on Epstein, 180 on these endless wars. When people
- 1:27:58Speaker 4: are saying, well, wait a minute, you talked about America first.
- 1:28:01Speaker 4: You talked about getting these people out of the country
- 1:28:03Speaker 4: that were here illegally. You talked about inflation. You were
- 1:28:07Speaker 4: talking about all that stuff. And now everything's been derailed,
- 1:28:12Speaker 4: and high energy prices are back, and inflation's back, and
- 1:28:15Speaker 4: this keeps dragging on and on and on. So that's
- 1:28:23Speaker 4: where things stand. News Radio 570 WQN. I mean, that's where,
- 1:28:29Speaker 4: prior to these guys saying this stuff, how many of
- 1:28:31Speaker 4: you were staying up at night worried about Iran and
- 1:28:33Speaker 4: a nuclear weapon? I mean, with the bunker buster, we
- 1:28:38Speaker 4: took care of that. We dropped the bunker buster. whatever
- 1:28:40Speaker 4: they had is buried in that mountain there's nothing more
- 1:28:43Speaker 4: they can do with it well they told us that
- 1:28:50Speaker 4: was the end of it Then they said, well, we
- 1:28:54Speaker 4: dropped all these bombs and we've eliminated all the manufacturing
- 1:28:56Speaker 4: capabilities and the missile sites and we've destroyed all of
- 1:28:59Speaker 4: this kind of stuff. We got them on the ropes
- 1:29:04Speaker 4: and they'll be basically an agreement's eminence. We heard that
- 1:29:12Speaker 4: week after week after week after week and nothing came.
- 1:29:15Speaker 4: And still there's nothing there. Now, I don't know why.
- 1:29:19Speaker 4: I don't know if they don't know who's in charge
- 1:29:22Speaker 4: or there's just confusion because of the chaos that's going
- 1:29:27Speaker 4: on in the country. Who knows? Or it's just their culture.
- 1:29:37Speaker 4: Is it their culture that says, well, wait a minute,
- 1:29:39Speaker 4: who are you, United States, to tell us we can't
- 1:29:41Speaker 4: have a nuclear weapon? Why is it okay for Israel
- 1:29:43Speaker 4: to have one? They're our enemy. Maybe we need to
- 1:29:46Speaker 4: have a nuclear weapon to be a deterrent like North Korea,
- 1:29:49Speaker 4: like Egypt, like Israel, to prevent them from attacking us.
- 1:29:57Speaker 4: To use it as a great nuclear, I can't even
- 1:30:03Speaker 4: say the words, deterrence, to use it as a deterrence.
- 1:30:13Speaker 4: I mean, just interesting perspectives to talk about all of
- 1:30:16Speaker 4: this stuff going on. But you go back to say
- 1:30:22Speaker 4: what is troubling is if this costs the midterms and
- 1:30:26Speaker 4: the Democrats get back in charge, everything that was positive
- 1:30:30Speaker 4: comes to a screeching halt. That has a direct effect
- 1:30:34Speaker 4: on your life right now. Because it is the economy
- 1:30:40Speaker 4: and whether, as I say to you, I can be
- 1:30:42Speaker 4: critical of Trump, but it'd be a cold day in
- 1:30:44Speaker 4: hell before I'd ever vote for a Democrat. I sure
- 1:30:46Speaker 4: wouldn't vote for Sherrod Brown. But unfortunately, a lot of
- 1:30:49Speaker 4: people do. They say, OK, I'm not happy with the situation.
- 1:30:52Speaker 4: I'm voting for someone else. And that is affected by
- 1:30:54Speaker 4: inflation and gas prices. Look what happened with Biden and
- 1:30:57Speaker 4: the entire Democrat Party when they made excuses and people said, no,
- 1:31:02Speaker 4: we're not living like this. We can't survive. So now
- 1:31:07Speaker 4: you're making it worse and you don't think people will
- 1:31:09Speaker 4: do that again? And then for the next two years,
- 1:31:14Speaker 4: nothing happens or they reverse everything that he did? And
- 1:31:20Speaker 4: he's just blocked from doing things that can benefit all
- 1:31:27Speaker 4: of us? Things like what, Ron? Making us energy independent?
- 1:31:33Speaker 4: some of the economic policies. It certainly had the country
- 1:31:36Speaker 4: going in the right direction with oil prices down, gas
- 1:31:41Speaker 4: prices down, inflation coming down. All of that, all of
- 1:31:46Speaker 4: that progress has been totally reversed as a result of
- 1:31:50Speaker 4: this situation. And there's plenty of Trump supporters that are
- 1:31:57Speaker 4: critical saying he did this because he was talked into
- 1:32:01Speaker 4: by Netanyahu in Israel. And he was listening to that.
- 1:32:06Speaker 4: He wasn't listening, perhaps, to some of the critical voices
- 1:32:09Speaker 4: within the administration. And maybe he thought it'd be like
- 1:32:21Speaker 4: another quick in and out. Use the military, drop some weapons,
- 1:32:26Speaker 4: they'll surrender and it'll be done and over with. But
- 1:32:30Speaker 4: it's a country of, what, 93 million people and a
- 1:32:32Speaker 4: much different philosophy. I wish that it would materialize like
- 1:32:40Speaker 4: they hope it did. We drop the bombs. We finish
- 1:32:43Speaker 4: with it. They make an agreement. Everybody gets back to
- 1:32:46Speaker 4: normal and business to normal. Now I read where some
- 1:32:50Speaker 4: of the folks are saying even if you end this,
- 1:32:53Speaker 4: that you have an oil shortage going on, that it
- 1:32:56Speaker 4: doesn't mean this idea that everything's going to drop back
- 1:32:58Speaker 4: to normal relatively quickly. Knowing that the vast majority of
- 1:33:08Speaker 4: you weren't paying attention to Iran and weren't staying up
- 1:33:10Speaker 4: at night worried about a nuclear threat from Iran. At all.
- 1:33:18Speaker 4: It wasn't the number one thing on your radar screen.
- 1:33:20Speaker 4: What was probably on your radar screen was inflation. How
- 1:33:24Speaker 4: expensive everything was. Energy. That was the number one thing
- 1:33:28Speaker 4: on your radar screen, and it should be. Because that's
- 1:33:31Speaker 4: having a direct effect on your life and your retirement
- 1:33:33Speaker 4: right now. Well, things can also get a lot worse.
- 1:33:43Speaker 4: I mean, if you follow this, I mean, there's genuine
- 1:33:46Speaker 4: concern for American farmers and not just American other farmers
- 1:33:49Speaker 4: because of the cost of fertilizer once again and a
- 1:33:52Speaker 4: shortage of fertilizer. So there's concern about that and the
- 1:33:59Speaker 4: survivability of American farmers. There's concern about people starving and
- 1:34:03Speaker 4: maybe people don't care in Africa and this kind of
- 1:34:05Speaker 4: stuff because of the lack of fertilizer and what's happening
- 1:34:09Speaker 4: here or the situation in other countries and how this
- 1:34:12Speaker 4: can turn into a global mess that can have ramifications.
- 1:34:18Speaker 4: Just put it out there. You're on the air.
- 1:34:22Speaker 18: Whoa.
- 1:34:26Speaker 27: I've got to tell you something, man. Well, first of all,
- 1:34:28Speaker 27: this is not why I called you. But first of all,
- 1:34:31Speaker 27: the Israelis took out a whole bunch of leaders with
- 1:34:34Speaker 27: exploding cell phones, so we don't even know what to
- 1:34:36Speaker 27: get them.
- 1:34:38Speaker 4: Remember that, the exploding pagers.
- 1:34:41Speaker 27: Well, we don't. But the great thing about your show
- 1:34:46Speaker 27: is it's different slices of America. And I disagree with
- 1:34:54Speaker 27: all three of your callers, including JJ and Rich, right,
- 1:34:57Speaker 27: in this last caller. And I disagree with you because
- 1:35:02Speaker 27: you guys, I believe some people are starting to watch
- 1:35:04Speaker 27: Minus Touch Network now. You guys are close, but you
- 1:35:07Speaker 27: really don't get it. You say all the time, Ron,
- 1:35:10Speaker 27: you used to say, how come Clinton don't show up?
- 1:35:14Speaker 27: How come Clinton don't show up? Well, now you're saying,
- 1:35:16Speaker 27: I will not vote for no Democrat, no matter what.
- 1:35:20Speaker 27: So the question I'm going to ask you before I
- 1:35:22Speaker 27: get to the rest of the people, right? So you're
- 1:35:24Speaker 27: telling me that a Republican that's running and he has
- 1:35:28Speaker 27: connections to Epstein Island, you will vote for him instead
- 1:35:32Speaker 27: of a Democrat?
- 1:35:35Speaker 4: I will not vote for a Democrat. If you're asking
- 1:35:37Speaker 4: me would I vote for John Husted or Sherrod Brown,
- 1:35:40Speaker 4: I'll vote for John.
- 1:35:40Speaker 27: I'm not asking you that.
- 1:35:41Speaker 4: Well, I'm going to answer your question because that's the
- 1:35:43Speaker 4: vote I have. I'll vote for John Husted in the
- 1:35:46Speaker 4: blink of an eye. Absolutely. Under no circumstances will I
- 1:35:49Speaker 4: vote for the craziness of a Democrat who believes in
- 1:35:53Speaker 4: open borders, who believes men can have babies, who believes
- 1:35:55Speaker 4: in this transgender nonsense. and who believes the answer is
- 1:35:59Speaker 4: higher taxes and more government. Under no circumstances, I'll make
- 1:36:03Speaker 4: it perfectly clear, will I vote for a Democrat with
- 1:36:06Speaker 4: those philosophies, mainly Sherrod Brown, because that's the choice I'll have.
- 1:36:11Speaker 4: I will not vote for him at all because of
- 1:36:15Speaker 4: he supported everything Biden did.
- 1:36:17Speaker 27: I respect that. Now to get to the last caller, right?
- 1:36:21Speaker 27: You know, just like when I call you, Ron, I
- 1:36:25Speaker 27: know your listeners get a pencil and a piece of paper,
- 1:36:27Speaker 27: and I know they fact-check me. Now, first of all,
- 1:36:31Speaker 27: I could be wrong, but I believe it was President
- 1:36:35Speaker 27: Trump who signed a peace agreement with the Taliban, and
- 1:36:41Speaker 27: he said we will be out by a certain date.
- 1:36:44Speaker 4: Oh, you're going back to Afghanistan. That's total nonsense as well.
- 1:36:49Speaker 4: Trump was out of office, Biden was in, Biden directed
- 1:36:52Speaker 4: it all, and Biden blew it.
- 1:36:54Speaker 27: Okay, okay.
- 1:36:54Speaker 4: I mean, you know, I can sit here, and honest
- 1:36:57Speaker 4: to God, I can sit here and I can be
- 1:36:59Speaker 4: critical of this situation with Trump, but you lack the
- 1:37:02Speaker 4: ability to honestly look and say, well, you know, Biden
- 1:37:05Speaker 4: was president. I'm not letting Trump get off on this.
- 1:37:08Speaker 27: And Rich, Rich DeFarmas, he really... He's a smart guy, right?
- 1:37:17Speaker 27: But he really, truly... And the three of y'all don't
- 1:37:20Speaker 27: get it.
- 1:37:21Speaker 6: Right?
- 1:37:21Speaker 27: Now, first of all, I told you and G2 about
- 1:37:25Speaker 27: Ukraine a long time ago when they were talking about
- 1:37:27Speaker 27: 90-year-olds and teenagers, right? They were fighting a different type
- 1:37:30Speaker 27: of war. Remember me and you talked about AI way
- 1:37:33Speaker 27: back then? You know, soldiers that are like robots. But
- 1:37:39Speaker 27: the deal is with this. I don't believe... that the
- 1:37:44Speaker 27: Israelis are behind Donald Trump bombing Iran. I think just
- 1:37:51Speaker 27: like Venezuela, when the pressure from the F-10 files gets
- 1:37:56Speaker 27: so tight, he diverted to something else. That's just my opinion. Now,
- 1:38:02Speaker 27: what were you saying about Biden? I can agree.
- 1:38:04Speaker 6: Go ahead.
- 1:38:05Speaker 27: What did you say about.
- 1:38:09Speaker 34: Biden?
- 1:38:10Speaker 4: Oh, so you think that this is a... a distraction
- 1:38:12Speaker 4: over the Epstein files. I don't believe that for a second.
- 1:38:17Speaker 27: Well, NGT said that. But what I'm saying is, now,
- 1:38:21Speaker 27: what is it about Biden that you don't like about
- 1:38:23Speaker 27: me and Biden?
- 1:38:24Speaker 18: Go ahead.
- 1:38:25Speaker 4: There's nothing I like about Biden and the Biden administration.
- 1:38:28Speaker 27: No, about me liking Biden.
- 1:38:30Speaker 3: Why is it you say that?
- 1:38:31Speaker 4: No, I said you lack the ability to be critical
- 1:38:33Speaker 4: of Biden. See, as I say, I'm not a cheerleader
- 1:38:37Speaker 4: for the Republicans or the Democrats. So I can sit
- 1:38:41Speaker 4: here and I can tell you that I voted for
- 1:38:43Speaker 4: Trump three times. I'd vote for him again. In general,
- 1:38:46Speaker 4: I like him as president. That doesn't mean I have
- 1:38:48Speaker 4: to agree with everything he does. I do not agree
- 1:38:50Speaker 4: with him when he attacks Democrats. his supporters that helped
- 1:38:53Speaker 4: him get elected. I don't care if it's Marjorie Taylor Greene.
- 1:38:56Speaker 4: I don't care if it's Tucker Carlson. I don't care
- 1:38:58Speaker 4: if it's Candace Owens. I don't care if it's Tom
- 1:39:02Speaker 4: Massey or any of these other people that's backed his agenda,
- 1:39:08Speaker 4: supported him, helped get him elected, but because they disagree
- 1:39:11Speaker 4: with him on some issues, all of a sudden they're
- 1:39:13Speaker 4: low IQ or they're bad people. I don't agree with
- 1:39:16Speaker 4: that with him at all. I don't think that's a
- 1:39:18Speaker 4: good trait at all because basically his philosophy is if
- 1:39:23Speaker 4: you don't think exactly like me and agree with me
- 1:39:24Speaker 4: all the time, then you're nothing. You're a piece of crap. Well,
- 1:39:29Speaker 4: sometimes you can be wrong, and sometimes you have to
- 1:39:32Speaker 4: listen to others' opinions and advice that might no more
- 1:39:35Speaker 4: warn you before you make the final decision. I think
- 1:39:40Speaker 4: he lacks that ability and he turns, I don't care
- 1:39:45Speaker 4: for how he turns on these people and the things
- 1:39:48Speaker 4: he says about them when they were staunch. Marjorie Taylor
- 1:39:50Speaker 4: Greene was one of his earliest supporters ever on backing Trump.
- 1:39:57Speaker 4: But because she disagreed with Trump on the Epstein files
- 1:40:00Speaker 4: and thought that he chickened out on it, And she
- 1:40:04Speaker 4: disagreed with him on this situation as far as Iran
- 1:40:07Speaker 4: is concerned. All of a sudden, she's no good. Well,
- 1:40:11Speaker 4: she was there from the very beginning. And she thinks
- 1:40:14Speaker 4: that something stinks when it comes to the Epstein files
- 1:40:17Speaker 4: and not getting released and not doing what you campaigned on.
- 1:40:22Speaker 4: And she thinks something's terribly wrong with you being against
- 1:40:24Speaker 4: regime change and getting involved in the Middle East. And
- 1:40:27Speaker 4: you change totally on that. And you drop the American
- 1:40:30Speaker 4: first agenda. which is of concern to Massey, which is
- 1:40:34Speaker 4: of concern to other Republicans.
- 1:40:40Speaker 27: Mike Johnson.
- 1:40:41Speaker 4: Well, not Mike Johnson, but other Republicans that you insult.
- 1:40:47Speaker 4: or people that supported you. Tucker Carlson was on stage
- 1:40:52Speaker 4: helping you get elected. All of a sudden now, because
- 1:40:55Speaker 4: he disagrees with you, he's low IQ. Well, was he
- 1:40:57Speaker 4: low IQ when he was supporting you for president? I mean,
- 1:41:00Speaker 4: I just don't find that an admirable quality. You lack
- 1:41:04Speaker 4: the ability to hear input from people who totally disagree.
- 1:41:07Speaker 4: disagree with you on an issue, but they agree with
- 1:41:10Speaker 4: you overall. So why would you insult them like that?
- 1:41:16Speaker 4: I don't care for that. I'm not going to sit
- 1:41:18Speaker 4: here and say I think that's a good trait of Trump's.
- 1:41:21Speaker 4: I do not think it's a good trait of his
- 1:41:23Speaker 4: at all. I can only give you my thoughts and opinion.
- 1:41:27Speaker 4: I believe he got involved in this because of Netanyahu
- 1:41:31Speaker 4: and Israel. And I think that's why he got involved
- 1:41:34Speaker 4: in this situation. And I think he's misread this situation
- 1:41:38Speaker 4: at this point in time.
- 1:41:41Speaker 27: Okay, now you talk about trans.
- 1:41:43Speaker 4: And now you can't say that about Afghanistan. You want
- 1:41:46Speaker 4: to say, oh, Afghanistan and the lousy withdrawal from Afghanistan
- 1:41:50Speaker 4: is a fault of Trump. That was Biden who was president.
- 1:41:53Speaker 27: Obama bin Laden in Afghanistan a long time ago. The Democrats,
- 1:41:58Speaker 27: they dropped the ball. And me personally, me personally, I
- 1:42:03Speaker 27: never told you this before.
- 1:42:04Speaker 4: Oh, I want to hear this. Go ahead. I'm listening.
- 1:42:06Speaker 27: Me personally, right? And a lot of people disagree with
- 1:42:11Speaker 27: Biden on this.
- 1:42:12Speaker 36: Oh, hold on.
- 1:42:12Speaker 4: I want to hear this. So let me do my commercials.
- 1:42:14Speaker 4: I definitely want to hear this because you never told
- 1:42:16Speaker 4: me this before, but I want to hear it. What
- 1:42:19Speaker 4: is Emmanuel going to tell me that he's never told
- 1:42:21Speaker 4: me before?
- 1:42:21Speaker 18: Hmm.
- 1:42:23Speaker 1: News, weather, and talk station. 570 WKBN.
- 1:42:26Speaker 4: You know, I'm sitting on the edge of my seat.
- 1:42:31Speaker 4: What are you going to tell me that I thought
- 1:42:32Speaker 4: I would never hear you say?
- 1:42:34Speaker 27: Well, first of all, you have to deal with reality, okay?
- 1:42:38Speaker 36: Yes.
- 1:42:39Speaker 27: Okay. Now, I'm starting off this, but I'm going to
- 1:42:42Speaker 27: end up telling you what I don't like two things
- 1:42:44Speaker 27: about Joe Biden.
- 1:42:46Speaker 34: Okay?
- 1:42:47Speaker 4: I'm listening. I'm all ears.
- 1:42:48Speaker 27: Number one, when Donald Trump was president, He signed a
- 1:42:53Speaker 27: piece of paper saying that he's going to leave by
- 1:42:55Speaker 27: a certain date.
- 1:42:56Speaker 18: Remember that?
- 1:43:00Speaker 4: Doesn't matter what he did.
- 1:43:02Speaker 18: Do you remember that? No.
- 1:43:07Speaker 27: Then, well, okay. It really don't make any sense. Okay, Ron,
- 1:43:10Speaker 27: if you don't remember that, then..
- 1:43:12Speaker 4: No, here's what the problem is. Joe Biden was president.
- 1:43:17Speaker 4: He could leave Afghanistan whenever he wanted.
- 1:43:20Speaker 27: Not true.
- 1:43:21Speaker 4: That's very much true.
- 1:43:22Speaker 17: Not true.
- 1:43:22Speaker 27: Okay, I'm going to tell you why. That's what pissed
- 1:43:25Speaker 27: me off about him. That's what really pissed me off
- 1:43:28Speaker 27: about Joe Biden.
- 1:43:30Speaker 34: What?
- 1:43:32Speaker 27: I'm telling you, but you ain't listening.
- 1:43:35Speaker 4: I'm listening.
- 1:43:36Speaker 27: When he was president, the date that he said that
- 1:43:39Speaker 27: the United States was going to leave, he wasn't president then.
- 1:43:42Speaker 27: He thought he was going to win again. So the
- 1:43:45Speaker 27: day comes for the United States to pull out, that
- 1:43:48Speaker 27: Donald Trump agreed to, Joe Biden said, okay, he was
- 1:43:53Speaker 27: the president. If the president of the United States said
- 1:43:56Speaker 27: we're leaving on this day, that's the day we're leaving.
- 1:43:58Speaker 27: He shouldn't have left. He should have waited and did
- 1:44:03Speaker 27: it the right way. But he was so, so stuck
- 1:44:06Speaker 27: up with America telling the truth and America being such
- 1:44:09Speaker 27: a bright, shining star that he let the soldiers down.
- 1:44:15Speaker 27: The second thing, January 6th, didn't handle it right. That's
- 1:44:24Speaker 27: all I got to say.
- 1:44:26Speaker 40: Now, you cannot say ever again that I couldn't find
- 1:44:32Speaker 40: nothing wrong with Joe Biden. And I'm going to tell
- 1:44:35Speaker 40: you another thing you can't say, whether you are trans,
- 1:44:38Speaker 40: whether you're tampons, Or whatever. Whoever you sleep with has
- 1:44:43Speaker 40: nothing to do with the damn economy.
- 1:44:47Speaker 18: Bye, Ron.
- 1:44:50Speaker 4: Goodbye. You're on air.
- 1:44:53Speaker 41: Yeah, I was just calling in to talk about Iran
- 1:44:55Speaker 41: a little bit. And there's a signing in Warren this
- 1:44:59Speaker 41: Friday from 5 to 7 for property tax at Urban
- 1:45:03Speaker 41: Tap and Distillery. That's on 439 East Market Street. I
- 1:45:08Speaker 41: think Trump is just trying to do something that no
- 1:45:10Speaker 41: one's ever done, and that's deal with Iran, which is
- 1:45:14Speaker 41: a state sponsor of terror. You know, I mean, the
- 1:45:16Speaker 41: way Obama dealt with it is he gave them gold
- 1:45:19Speaker 41: bars and foreign currency. So Trump is, like, not going
- 1:45:23Speaker 41: to do that. He's trying to do the right thing.
- 1:45:25Speaker 29: I trust him.
- 1:45:26Speaker 41: I don't know. I am a cheerleader for Trump, so
- 1:45:29Speaker 41: I really trust his judgment. And ever since he came
- 1:45:31Speaker 41: down the escalator in 2015, he's just done everything, you know,
- 1:45:35Speaker 41: for America. You know, he's never done anything to hurt America.
- 1:45:41Speaker 41: So if we have a little bit of pain with
- 1:45:43Speaker 41: inflation for a time, I mean, I think that we're
- 1:45:46Speaker 41: spoiled if we can't get through that. For something so
- 1:45:49Speaker 41: important as dealing with a state sponsor of terror.
- 1:45:53Speaker 4: Well stated. Thank you for your inputs. All right. Back
- 1:45:56Speaker 4: in a minute. Callers in line, stand by.
- 1:45:58Speaker 1: News Radio 570 WKVN.
- 1:46:02Speaker 4: Well, I don't know where that comes from because the
- 1:46:03Speaker 4: Guardians won this afternoon, so that's outdated. NewsRadio 570, WKBN 534.
- 1:46:07Speaker 4: Ron Ferb, NewsRadio 570, WKBN 58 degrees. How about Emmanuel?
- 1:46:13Speaker 4: I think I pushed him right over the edge today.
- 1:46:15Speaker 4: I think I got him right over the edge.
- 1:46:17Speaker 6: I mean, he.
- 1:46:17Speaker 4: Was right on the edge. Emmanuel, my point with that
- 1:46:23Speaker 4: is the lesson of Afghanistan, the lessons of the Middle East—
- 1:46:32Speaker 4: What did all of those, and I can go back
- 1:46:34Speaker 4: to Vietnam and talk about that. What did all of
- 1:46:37Speaker 4: those people die for in Afghanistan? When you see the
- 1:46:40Speaker 4: commercials on television of the disfigured American soldiers, people that
- 1:46:47Speaker 4: have lost arms and legs or paralyzed or severely burned
- 1:46:51Speaker 4: and disfigured, and those that are dead in Afghanistan. What
- 1:46:57Speaker 4: was the point of that sacrifice? that all those families
- 1:47:02Speaker 4: made and all those individuals made, when the dust settled,
- 1:47:05Speaker 4: you gave it back to the terrorists in better shape
- 1:47:08Speaker 4: than when you took it and left all the equipment behind.
- 1:47:11Speaker 4: That was Joe Biden. Those were his decisions, not Trump,
- 1:47:16Speaker 4: his decisions on how he executed that. So, but outside
- 1:47:25Speaker 4: of whether it's Biden or Trump or whoever you want
- 1:47:26Speaker 4: to blame, that really isn't the point. The point is,
- 1:47:31Speaker 4: What about the human sacrifices that America made, and when
- 1:47:34Speaker 4: the dust settled, it was given right back to the terrorists?
- 1:47:38Speaker 4: Were we successful at anything, really, in the Middle East?
- 1:47:49Speaker 4: Just ask yourself that question, because, you know, these things
- 1:47:52Speaker 4: were orchestrated by Victoria Nuland and regime change and the neocons,
- 1:47:57Speaker 4: and was... Were we successful at it? Did we change things? Well,
- 1:48:06Speaker 4: it certainly is debatable. But do you learn from your
- 1:48:14Speaker 4: mistakes or do you repeat them?
- 1:48:19Speaker 37: It can..
- 1:48:20Speaker 4: Be hard to defeat an enemy when they are fighting
- 1:48:23Speaker 4: in their land, in their homeland, in their territory, and
- 1:48:26Speaker 4: it's not yours. You could go back and look at Vietnam.
- 1:48:31Speaker 27: Vietnam.
- 1:48:34Speaker 4: And remember what they were saying, Vietnam, the domino effect,
- 1:48:37Speaker 4: you got to stop it, communism, all of this stuff
- 1:48:41Speaker 4: that they were saying about Vietnam. Well, it didn't go,
- 1:48:44Speaker 4: it wasn't a success. And we lost 70,000 people and
- 1:48:50Speaker 4: many soldiers with issues as a result of being in Vietnam,
- 1:48:57Speaker 4: whether that's drug abuse or mental problems or disfigurements or death.
- 1:49:03Speaker 4: Was it worth it? Was it really worth it? Because
- 1:49:09Speaker 4: when the dust settled, we left. And perhaps we thought
- 1:49:15Speaker 4: it would be easy because, well, we're the United States,
- 1:49:19Speaker 4: but it's their homeland. It's where they live. And they
- 1:49:25Speaker 4: know you don't live there and sooner or later you're
- 1:49:26Speaker 4: going to leave. I think that wasn't that supposedly the
- 1:49:33Speaker 4: lesson of Vietnam? And people wanted out of there. And
- 1:49:41Speaker 4: do you repeat that lesson when you see it in
- 1:49:43Speaker 4: the Middle East? I don't believe you'll ever get those
- 1:49:53Speaker 4: people in the Middle East to think like we do.
- 1:49:55Speaker 4: It is a different part of the world. It is
- 1:49:57Speaker 4: a different culture. It is totally different thinking. Many of
- 1:50:01Speaker 4: them that come here don't assimilate into this country, go
- 1:50:04Speaker 4: to Dearborn, Michigan. They believe in their culture and their
- 1:50:09Speaker 4: views and they think you should change. And ultimately their
- 1:50:13Speaker 4: goal is to take over America.
- 1:50:17Speaker 17: Perhaps.
- 1:50:18Speaker 4: Some say. So if many that come here aren't willing
- 1:50:25Speaker 4: to change to be like Americans, what makes you think
- 1:50:28Speaker 4: they're going to change over there with your thinking? I'm
- 1:50:31Speaker 4: sure there's some. But they think differently than we do.
- 1:50:38Speaker 4: They come from a different background, a different culture. It's
- 1:50:44Speaker 4: hard for us to understand. They just view things differently.
- 1:50:48Speaker 4: It's just a different part of the world. And so
- 1:50:58Speaker 4: the critics of of Trump are merely saying, what brought
- 1:51:03Speaker 4: all of this on? What caused all of these swivelhead
- 1:51:06Speaker 4: changes on Epstein? Oh, that's yesterday's news. No, you ran
- 1:51:10Speaker 4: on that and putting that out there and you disappointed
- 1:51:13Speaker 4: a lot of people who voted for you and supported
- 1:51:15Speaker 4: you on that. Well, you ran and you said you
- 1:51:21Speaker 4: were against regime change and getting involved in endless wars
- 1:51:24Speaker 4: in the Middle East and what have you. And here
- 1:51:26Speaker 4: you are now involved in something like this that keeps
- 1:51:29Speaker 4: dragging on. That's creating the same problems that you were
- 1:51:36Speaker 4: voted to fix when Biden was in office. Inflation, high
- 1:51:39Speaker 4: energy prices. The American first agenda. But yet, as I say,
- 1:51:52Speaker 4: when you've got people that support Trump overall that aren't
- 1:51:56Speaker 4: cheerleaders for him and they speak out against it. Tucker
- 1:52:00Speaker 4: Carlson's the best example. Always low IQ Tucker. Well, was
- 1:52:03Speaker 4: he low IQ Tucker when he was on stage campaigning
- 1:52:06Speaker 4: for you and on the campaign circuit with you? Or
- 1:52:09Speaker 4: is he only a low IQ Tucker because he disagrees
- 1:52:11Speaker 4: with you on some of these issues? So unless you
- 1:52:14Speaker 4: totally agree with everything you do, you can't disagree with anything.
- 1:52:18Speaker 4: Unless you totally agree with everything, that's the only... way
- 1:52:22Speaker 4: that you see it? As I said, to attack Marjorie
- 1:52:27Speaker 4: Taylor Greene is disturbing to me since she was one
- 1:52:29Speaker 4: of your earliest supporters and to say the vicious things
- 1:52:32Speaker 4: that you said about her or Tucker Carlson or Thomas Massey.
- 1:52:40Speaker 4: Because we were the first ones to be critical of
- 1:52:42Speaker 4: when they wanted to censor speech on the social media
- 1:52:45Speaker 4: platforms where you couldn't express a difference opinion than what
- 1:52:49Speaker 4: was put out there by the Biden administration when it
- 1:52:51Speaker 4: came to COVID and And certainly I was critical of it,
- 1:52:54Speaker 4: and I'm critical of it to this day, and I'll
- 1:52:56Speaker 4: be critical of it if I see the Republicans trying
- 1:52:58Speaker 4: to do the same damn thing. People have a right
- 1:53:07Speaker 4: to express their opinion, whether you agree with it or
- 1:53:10Speaker 4: disagree with it on social media, whether it suits any
- 1:53:15Speaker 4: lobbyist group or other countries, they can express their thoughts
- 1:53:18Speaker 4: and their opinions in our great country. And they can
- 1:53:25Speaker 4: still like the president, vote for the president, vote for
- 1:53:28Speaker 4: the party, and disagree with him on some issues. And speculate,
- 1:53:38Speaker 4: why did we get involved in this? What happened here?
- 1:53:40Speaker 4: Why did this start? Speculate whether or not he thought
- 1:53:44Speaker 4: this would be over sooner than it is. Or would
- 1:53:49Speaker 4: it end much quicker than it seems to be dragging on.
- 1:53:56Speaker 4: But I don't want to fall into when I was
- 1:53:58Speaker 4: critical of Biden. Oh, it's all transitory. Janet Yellen saying
- 1:54:01Speaker 4: that crap. And it was nothing like that. And they
- 1:54:03Speaker 4: seem to be totally out of touch trying to sell
- 1:54:05Speaker 4: everybody on. Don't worry about the inflation. Everything's great. And
- 1:54:10Speaker 4: what did they say? Look at the stock market. And
- 1:54:12Speaker 4: the stock market was doing well. But for the longest
- 1:54:18Speaker 4: period of time, there is a disconnect between Wall Street
- 1:54:21Speaker 4: and Main Street. There always has been. And I think
- 1:54:25Speaker 4: there always will be. A lot of times when companies
- 1:54:29Speaker 4: cut thousands of jobs, the stock goes up, but a
- 1:54:32Speaker 4: lot of people's lives are devastated. So it's something worth
- 1:54:39Speaker 4: mulling over. I mean, like, that's why I say to people,
- 1:54:43Speaker 4: I said to Emanuel, just because I'm critical of Trump,
- 1:54:45Speaker 4: do you think I would vote for Sherrod Brown? I'd
- 1:54:47Speaker 4: have to have my head examined. Or any Democrats. I'd
- 1:54:52Speaker 4: still vote for the Republicans. Because in general, I agree
- 1:54:56Speaker 4: with the majority of the direction the country's going. I
- 1:54:59Speaker 4: get frustrated with the right of Republicans like Mike DeWine.
- 1:55:07Speaker 4: He's frustrating and a disappointment. So just because he's a Republican,
- 1:55:12Speaker 4: should we not point that out and express that? We've
- 1:55:15Speaker 4: got to have a team mentality? Well, that's ridiculous. We
- 1:55:17Speaker 4: saw that with the Democrats, and I'm not about to
- 1:55:20Speaker 4: go down that road. You're on the air.
- 1:55:27Speaker 42: We bombed North Korea and North Vietnam into the Stone Age,
- 1:55:34Speaker 42: and they refused to surrender. And who was that lady
- 1:55:38Speaker 42: that just called, Ron?
- 1:55:39Speaker 4: Denise.
- 1:55:41Speaker 42: Was that Denise?
- 1:55:42Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:55:44Speaker 34: No, I don't think so.
- 1:55:47Speaker 4: No, it was Denise, or it could have been D-Nephew.
- 1:55:51Speaker 4: It's the oldest joke in the world. Let me try it. Frank,
- 1:55:53Speaker 4: hang on. Frank, let me try it again. Now listen
- 1:55:56Speaker 4: to me, okay? Throw me a bone here. I think
- 1:56:00Speaker 4: it was Denise, but it could have been a nephew.
- 1:56:04Speaker 42: Oh, Jesus.
- 1:56:06Speaker 4: There we are.
- 1:56:07Speaker 42: I can't imagine her supporting the war in Iran. But
- 1:56:11Speaker 42: whoever it was, you know what I want to say
- 1:56:13Speaker 42: to her? When you enlist in the military and go
- 1:56:17Speaker 42: fight in the Persian Gulf, then I'll take you seriously.
- 1:56:21Speaker 42: Israel is committing genocide against Muslims and Christians. Do you
- 1:56:26Speaker 42: want to bomb them? Now, here's what I say to Emmanuel.
- 1:56:30Speaker 42: It takes a lot of money to run a political campaign,
- 1:56:34Speaker 42: and I think the Republicans will win the midterms. The
- 1:56:39Speaker 42: Republican National Committee has no debt, and as of March,
- 1:56:45Speaker 42: they have almost $ 117 million in cash on hand. The
- 1:56:51Speaker 42: DNC has about $ 13. 9 million cash on hand, but with
- 1:56:57Speaker 42: $ 18. 4 million in debts and loans that they owe, the
- 1:57:02Speaker 42: DNC is broke, and you can't win a political campaign
- 1:57:09Speaker 42: without tons of money. Now, I want to talk about corruption, too.
- 1:57:15Speaker 42: Forbes Financial says that no first family has used the
- 1:57:19Speaker 42: office to make as much money as Donald Trump's. Trump's
- 1:57:24Speaker 42: net worth has now surged to $ 6. 5 billion, and his
- 1:57:28Speaker 42: enrichment includes being paid off for granting licensing deals, getting
- 1:57:34Speaker 42: bribed for ensuring favorable legal outcomes. and bribed by foreign
- 1:57:39Speaker 42: business interests demanding proximity to presidential power. And Trump's family
- 1:57:45Speaker 42: now has a collective net worth of $ 10 billion. And meanwhile, Ron,
- 1:57:52Speaker 42: medical research is being slashed, as I've told you. I've
- 1:57:56Speaker 42: told you job training is being slashed. Environmental protections ended.
- 1:58:03Speaker 42: Disaster relief funds raided. And home heating assistance... and welfare
- 1:58:08Speaker 42: for the poorest Americans. are being slashed. And you know what?
- 1:58:14Speaker 42: Let me quote Richard Painter, a former White House ethics
- 1:58:18Speaker 42: lawyer under George Bush. He says foreign countries are under
- 1:58:23Speaker 42: enormous pressure to buy from Trump's sons. And then he'll
- 1:58:28Speaker 42: grant their request if they do that. This is the
- 1:58:31Speaker 42: first presidential family to make a fortune off war. And
- 1:58:36Speaker 42: Trump announced at an Easter luncheon that we can't take
- 1:58:40Speaker 42: care of Medicare, Medicaid, and daycare, that the states will
- 1:58:45Speaker 42: have to do that now. And I say that Trump
- 1:58:48Speaker 42: is stealing from the poor and giving to the rich.
- 1:58:52Speaker 42: And he's also spending enormous amounts of money to expand
- 1:58:56Speaker 42: the police state. And, you know, not only Trump's popularity ratings,
- 1:59:04Speaker 42: you know, Melody Trump is now the most despised first
- 1:59:08Speaker 42: lady in history. She makes Hillary Clinton look popular in comparison.
- 1:59:13Speaker 42: Trump's crypto coin is down 80%. But, you know, I
- 1:59:20Speaker 42: give you credit. Trump is trapped in another endless war
- 1:59:24Speaker 42: that Netanyahu will not allow him to extricate himself from,
- 1:59:29Speaker 42: just like you said. And just like you said, the
- 1:59:32Speaker 42: Israeli lobby is the most powerful force in American politics,
- 1:59:37Speaker 42: and they are bankrupting our country, and the killing and
- 1:59:41Speaker 42: maiming of our brave men and women is of no
- 1:59:44Speaker 42: concern to them. You know, we're just cannon fodder and
- 1:59:48Speaker 42: dead slaves. And I would like to appeal to your
- 1:59:51Speaker 42: superior wisdom in allowing me the honor of speaking on
- 1:59:56Speaker 42: behalf of the majority of your listeners. I would like
- 2:00:01Speaker 42: to invite members of the military or their wives or
- 2:00:05Speaker 42: husbands or relatives to call your show and tell us
- 2:00:09Speaker 42: what they think of the war.
- 2:00:10Speaker 4: Well, you just heard a guy earlier that was in Iraq,
- 2:00:13Speaker 4: and he supports it. I mean, so there's differing views
- 2:00:18Speaker 4: that people have on it.
- 2:00:20Speaker 42: Well, I'm talking about not guys that were in Iraq,
- 2:00:24Speaker 42: because I talked to guys that were in Iraq myself.
- 2:00:29Speaker 42: But the people in the military now, you know, I
- 2:00:34Speaker 42: would like to know, because our Zionist-owned and controlled media
- 2:00:40Speaker 42: never interviews them or asks their opinions or show their
- 2:00:44Speaker 42: grieving widows or widowers, their sons and daughters. You know,
- 2:00:52Speaker 42: I want to know if they think that their brothers
- 2:00:55Speaker 42: and sisters, fathers and mothers died for a just cause,
- 2:00:59Speaker 42: or if they think they died in vain. I'm not
- 2:01:02Speaker 42: like John Arnold or Rich the pharmacist. I don't measure
- 2:01:06Speaker 42: my success by the amount of money I've made or
- 2:01:10Speaker 42: the number of girlfriends I've had or the number of
- 2:01:13Speaker 42: expensive homes I've owned or the cars I drive. I
- 2:01:17Speaker 42: measure my success by the number of people I've fed,
- 2:01:22Speaker 42: by charitable contributions, of the number of animals I've rescued,
- 2:01:26Speaker 42: of the people I've helped through my charitable donations. And,
- 2:01:33Speaker 42: you know, I... used to volunteer at animal shelters, you know,
- 2:01:39Speaker 42: cleaning the litter boxes and feeding them. And my girlfriend
- 2:01:43Speaker 42: works for a charitable organization that helps feed people in need.
- 2:01:51Speaker 4: And now, look, your young girlfriend now, instead of cleaning
- 2:01:54Speaker 4: the litter boxes, now has to deal with changing your diaper.
- 2:01:59Speaker 42: Yeah, and she's getting pretty tired of it, Ron.
- 2:02:01Speaker 6: All right.
- 2:02:03Speaker 4: Fort Lauderdale, Frank.
- 2:02:04Speaker 37: Thanks.
- 2:02:05Speaker 4: Appreciate it.
- 2:02:06Speaker 6: You're on the air.
- 2:02:07Speaker 18: Hello.
- 2:02:08Speaker 43: Ron, how about them Zionist Jews, though, huh?
- 2:02:11Speaker 34: Come on, Frankie.
- 2:02:15Speaker 43: Anyhow, I called to go on this rant almost, but
- 2:02:20Speaker 43: I think your lovely wife should look into your chronic cough, Ronnie.
- 2:02:25Speaker 43: You're talking about the baby aspirin?
- 2:02:29Speaker 4: Sometimes I think it's this iced tea that I'm drinking
- 2:02:31Speaker 4: right here. I got it today when I had lunch.
- 2:02:35Speaker 4: And sometimes I think..
- 2:02:37Speaker 43: Oh, that's the one I sent you, right?
- 2:02:40Speaker 4: Yes, that mysterious iced tea. It tastes like antifreeze.
- 2:02:44Speaker 29: Yes, yes. That's a new flavor going on.
- 2:02:46Speaker 4: Is that it? You told me it was like Mountain
- 2:02:49Speaker 4: Dew-like iced tea.
- 2:02:50Speaker 43: And you enjoy it sooner or later.
- 2:02:53Speaker 4: Yeah, sometimes it makes me... Sometimes I get a tickle
- 2:02:56Speaker 4: in my throat as a result, and I have to cough.
- 2:03:00Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 2:03:00Speaker 43: Hey, the baby aspirin thing, though, I just want to
- 2:03:03Speaker 43: warn people that don't give aspirin to babies. Children under
- 2:03:08Speaker 43: 12 should not have aspirin.
- 2:03:11Speaker 37: Right.
- 2:03:11Speaker 4: I'm talking adults, yes.
- 2:03:13Speaker 24: Yeah, I know.
- 2:03:14Speaker 43: So maybe, you know, a lot of kids listen to
- 2:03:17Speaker 43: this show, Ronnie.
- 2:03:18Speaker 4: Listen, a guy like you at your age should probably
- 2:03:22Speaker 4: be carrying those chewable baby aspirin in your pocket. Where
- 2:03:25Speaker 4: is it? Wait a second. Watch this. You see this, pal?
- 2:03:28Speaker 34: Wait a minute.
- 2:03:30Speaker 4: Wait a minute. Wait a minute.
- 2:03:33Speaker 1: There it is.
- 2:03:34Speaker 4: There it is. Now, right here. As she makes me
- 2:03:37Speaker 4: carry this, I got them all over the place. Like
- 2:03:40Speaker 4: I said, my wife says, hey, you know, you should
- 2:03:42Speaker 4: always have. Let's see. It's bare, chewable, 81 milligram aspirin.
- 2:03:51Speaker 4: And she writes on it, chew for. Chew for take
- 2:03:57Speaker 4: with chest pain. Call 911. She writes it right on
- 2:04:00Speaker 4: the thing. You know, you chew them, you don't swallow them,
- 2:04:02Speaker 4: put them under your tongue, and you might live as
- 2:04:05Speaker 4: a result of it. Now, wait a minute.
- 2:04:07Speaker 10: Hang on.
- 2:04:07Speaker 4: I got a break. Just sit tight. I'll be right
- 2:04:10Speaker 4: back to you in a minute.
- 2:04:12Speaker 1: The Year. News Radio 570 WKBN. All right.
- 2:04:19Speaker 4: Sometimes I have to take these baby aspirin after I
- 2:04:21Speaker 4: get done talking to you.
- 2:04:24Speaker 43: Well, Ronnie, my PSA, public service announcement, is don't give
- 2:04:30Speaker 43: aspirins to babies. You know, I mean, I know you're
- 2:04:33Speaker 43: like one of the biggest babies on radio, but, yeah,
- 2:04:37Speaker 43: don't call them baby aspirins.
- 2:04:39Speaker 4: Now, you see, I'm trying to do a good thing
- 2:04:42Speaker 4: for you because, you know, you're a senior citizen. And
- 2:04:45Speaker 4: so just because your wife– My wife must actually care
- 2:04:51Speaker 4: for me. She doesn't want me to keel over even
- 2:04:52Speaker 4: though I don't have heart issues. You never know. But
- 2:04:55Speaker 4: like she says, hey, you never know if you have
- 2:04:58Speaker 4: chest pain. Like she says, carry these baby aspirin with you.
- 2:05:00Speaker 4: I got them in a car and all that kind
- 2:05:02Speaker 4: of stuff. And chewable ones and chew them under your
- 2:05:05Speaker 4: tongue and put them there that can save your life.
- 2:05:07Speaker 4: And a guy told me over the weekend, came up
- 2:05:09Speaker 4: my driveway and said he heard that, he did that,
- 2:05:11Speaker 4: and it saved his life. So I'm just trying to
- 2:05:13Speaker 4: save your life to keep you around. But you know what?
- 2:05:15Speaker 4: I can almost hear it. If I was there, let's
- 2:05:18Speaker 4: say you're having heart pain, okay? And I'm there. And
- 2:05:23Speaker 4: I would want to get out my baby aspirin and
- 2:05:24Speaker 4: give them to you. You know, I say, hey, unknown caller, here,
- 2:05:28Speaker 4: chew these under your tongue so that you'll be able
- 2:05:32Speaker 4: to survive. You know what you would say to me?
- 2:05:37Speaker 27: No, what?
- 2:05:38Speaker 6: No, thanks.
- 2:05:39Speaker 4: I got to go.
- 2:05:39Speaker 43: Hey, I want to talk about Emmanuel, though.
- 2:05:44Speaker 18: Yes.
- 2:05:45Speaker 43: All right, so he was all fired up, and I
- 2:05:48Speaker 43: think he was mad at Joe Biden because he left
- 2:05:50Speaker 43: the military there to die, basically. So I think that's
- 2:05:55Speaker 43: why he got fired up. But then again, he did
- 2:05:58Speaker 43: vote for the guy who, him and Kamala were just actors. Obviously,
- 2:06:04Speaker 43: Biden wasn't running the country at that point in time,
- 2:06:08Speaker 43: and Kamala couldn't have did it. So who was running
- 2:06:11Speaker 43: the country and decided that we're going to pull out
- 2:06:14Speaker 43: Not by Trump's plans. You know, Trump, he was going
- 2:06:19Speaker 43: to keep the airports and that and make sure everything
- 2:06:24Speaker 43: was smooth.
- 2:06:25Speaker 4: Hey, I got to go.
- 2:06:26Speaker 17: All right.
- 2:06:32Speaker 44: From ABC News, I'm Michelle Franzen. The summit in China
- 2:06:37Speaker 44: now just a few hours away. President Trump, members of
- 2:06:40Speaker 44: his cabinet, along with American CEOs, arrived in Beijing to
- 2:06:44Speaker 44: fanfare and calling on China to open up trade. The
- 2:06:47Speaker 44: ongoing war with Iran, though, could overshadow talks. ABC News
- 2:06:51Speaker 44: contributor and retired Colonel Stephen Gagnard says a breakthrough is unlikely.
- 2:06:55Speaker 45: China has a reason to help in Iran. Whether they
- 2:06:58Speaker 45: do or whether they have the power, that's another question.
- 2:07:01Speaker 45: Remember that they get 30 to 40 percent of their
- 2:07:03Speaker 45: oil coming through the Strait of Hormuz. Twenty percent of
- 2:07:06Speaker 45: that is Iranian oil. So they are going to be hurting.
- 2:07:09Speaker 45: And because they're an export-driven economy, they need the rest
- 2:07:12Speaker 45: of the world to be healthy. But because shutting down
- 2:07:15Speaker 45: the Strait has really created a global contagion.
- 2:07:18Speaker 46: The Federal Reserve has a new chair after a Senate
- 2:07:20Speaker 46: vote on Kevin Warsh today. Warsh tasked with tackling surging
- 2:07:25Speaker 46: inflation due to the war in Iran. The economic pressure
- 2:07:28Speaker 46: weighing on Americans, paying more for nearly everything, groceries, gas,
- 2:07:32Speaker 46: and energy. Health officials continue to monitor cruise ship passengers
- 2:07:36Speaker 46: evacuated due to the hantavirus outbreak. The majority are in
- 2:07:39Speaker 46: quarantine in Nebraska. Two others are at Emory Hospital in Georgia.
- 2:07:43Speaker 46: ABC's Aika Jachi also says contact tracing is expanding globally.
- 2:07:47Speaker 47: The big thing that officials are doing right now are
- 2:07:50Speaker 47: the tracing efforts. They want to see everybody who came
- 2:07:53Speaker 47: in contact with someone who possibly came down with the
- 2:07:57Speaker 47: hantavirus to make sure that they know exactly who they're
- 2:07:59Speaker 47: coming in contact with. contact with. So they're mapping out
- 2:08:02Speaker 47: everybody who came in contact with those passengers. They're doing
- 2:08:04Speaker 47: those in-depth interviews. And we're reporting that they're actually now
- 2:08:08Speaker 47: monitoring some people who have never had any contact with
- 2:08:12Speaker 47: that cruise ship whatsoever. So the monitoring is essentially expanding
- 2:08:17Speaker 47: into this wider web.
- 2:08:18Speaker 46: The South Carolina Supreme Court overturning the conviction of Alex
- 2:08:21Speaker 46: Murdaugh today. He was found guilty of murdering his wife
- 2:08:23Speaker 46: and son in 2021. Finding the county clerk improperly influenced jurors.
- 2:08:28Speaker 46: You're listening to ABC News.
- 2:08:30Speaker 1: 570 WKBN.
- 2:08:34Speaker 4: Well this hour if you're up there it is there's
- 2:08:37Speaker 4: that cough if you're on hold with me this hour
- 2:08:40Speaker 4: just stay right there because G2 joins me this hour
- 2:08:43Speaker 4: and he will be taking calls with me on News
- 2:08:45Speaker 4: Radio 570 WKBN. G2 welcome.
- 2:08:49Speaker 29: Good evening Ron how are you?
- 2:08:51Speaker 4: I am well. I'm going to ask you some questions
- 2:08:53Speaker 4: in the beginning and then I'm going to have you
- 2:08:54Speaker 4: take phone calls. How's that sounds?
- 2:08:57Speaker 27: Fabulous.
- 2:08:57Speaker 3: All right.
- 2:08:58Speaker 4: So a guy called earlier and said, hey, Russia's winning
- 2:09:01Speaker 4: the war. Or no, excuse me, Russia's losing the war.
- 2:09:06Speaker 4: And so Ukraine is winning. And give me your latest
- 2:09:11Speaker 4: thoughts on this Ukraine-Russian situation. And this guy seems to think,
- 2:09:16Speaker 4: tell G2 Russia's losing.
- 2:09:19Speaker 27: Well, I haven't seen that.
- 2:09:21Speaker 29: I'll look at some of the more accurate sites, but
- 2:09:25Speaker 29: I have heard nothing about them losing, nothing changing, except
- 2:09:28Speaker 29: that the situation on the ground in Ukraine is changing.
- 2:09:31Speaker 29: It turns out the first wave of migrants has arrived
- 2:09:36Speaker 29: to replace all the Ukrainians that have been either lost
- 2:09:40Speaker 29: in the war or have left the country. So the globalists,
- 2:09:44Speaker 29: the ones responsible for this war, are now replacing the
- 2:09:48Speaker 29: Ukrainian population as they're doing with the Spanish population and
- 2:09:51Speaker 29: the Irish population, the English population, German, and so on.
- 2:09:55Speaker 29: So the mission to destroy Europe continues unabated. Now, Russia
- 2:10:02Speaker 29: stands up against that, I understand, and if you're watching
- 2:10:05Speaker 29: a lot of the globalist news, you really want Russia
- 2:10:07Speaker 29: to lose because you think somehow they're our enemy. so
- 2:10:11Speaker 29: be it, right? I mean, I know, especially if you've
- 2:10:13Speaker 29: been in the military a long time, you were trained
- 2:10:15Speaker 29: every single day about the Soviet Union, and then it
- 2:10:17Speaker 29: was the Russians, and we got to hate them, and attack.
- 2:10:20Speaker 27: Them, and all that stuff.
- 2:10:22Speaker 29: And if you were around during the, you know, the
- 2:10:25Speaker 29: 2014 period when this war was launched, you were told
- 2:10:30Speaker 29: by the Fox News types that that the Russians or
- 2:10:35Speaker 29: that the Ukrainians that were alive with the Russians killed
- 2:10:38Speaker 29: all these people in that country. And, you know, you
- 2:10:40Speaker 29: didn't find out for years that it was Victoria Nuland
- 2:10:44Speaker 29: and the Azov guys and Zvoda and all that. So,
- 2:10:47Speaker 29: I mean, people really are seriously confused about a lot
- 2:10:50Speaker 29: of this if they're watching like Jack Keane. But, you know,
- 2:10:57Speaker 29: if you look at the battle maps and you stack
- 2:11:01Speaker 29: one on another on another, from years ago like you
- 2:11:05Speaker 29: go back one year two and three years you'll see
- 2:11:08Speaker 29: that there have been incursions are the battles won and
- 2:11:10Speaker 29: lost you know tactically but the battle lines truly haven't
- 2:11:15Speaker 29: changed much uh... over the last year's so when when
- 2:11:19Speaker 29: this war started and putin came out and said listen
- 2:11:23Speaker 29: my mission is to get rid of the bio labs
- 2:11:26Speaker 29: we go over there are no bio labs okay well
- 2:11:29Speaker 29: let's pretend there are get rid of the bio labs
- 2:11:32Speaker 29: stop the war in the Donbass, and get a land
- 2:11:36Speaker 29: bridge to Crimea to make sure that I'm never cut
- 2:11:39Speaker 29: off from the naval base down there, Sevastopol. So those
- 2:11:47Speaker 29: are my missions, and these four OBLAS are going to take.
- 2:11:50Speaker 29: They basically have taken those and held them for years,
- 2:11:53Speaker 29: set up this triple defense line that they've had, And,
- 2:11:57Speaker 29: of course, there have been drone attacks and attacks inside Russia.
- 2:12:00Speaker 29: We've done some things that luckily we've been able to
- 2:12:02Speaker 29: pretend we didn't do, sinking a ship, the pipeline, the
- 2:12:07Speaker 29: attacks inside Russia that the Ukrainians can never do on
- 2:12:11Speaker 29: their own. And Putin has just continued to pretend we
- 2:12:14Speaker 29: didn't do that, which I thought was good because we
- 2:12:17Speaker 29: don't really need to go toe-to-toe any more than we
- 2:12:20Speaker 29: are right now with the Russians.
- 2:12:23Speaker 10: Uh..
- 2:12:24Speaker 29: So to my knowledge uh... you know i i i
- 2:12:26Speaker 29: haven't honestly i haven't been that close to attention here
- 2:12:29Speaker 29: in the last few weeks but i don't think there's
- 2:12:32Speaker 29: been that much tactical change except and now the globalists
- 2:12:36Speaker 29: are replacing all those ukrainians that they've killed or cause
- 2:12:40Speaker 29: to relocate with people from the middle east africa.
- 2:12:44Speaker 4: All right so uh... anyway once again how many years
- 2:12:48Speaker 4: since this war dragged on with ukraine and.
- 2:12:50Speaker 29: Russia i think it started on like march It's been years.
- 2:12:55Speaker 17: Years. Two.
- 2:12:57Speaker 29: We're in year four.
- 2:12:58Speaker 4: Yeah, and with no end in sight.
- 2:13:02Speaker 29: Well, Putin came out recently and said that he thinks
- 2:13:06Speaker 29: it's going to come to a conclusion. But the tyrants
- 2:13:09Speaker 29: of Brussels, the people destroying Germany, for example, Spain, they've
- 2:13:14Speaker 29: said absolutely under no circumstances will they agree to allow
- 2:13:18Speaker 29: this to stop until every Ukrainian is dead or they've
- 2:13:20Speaker 29: got control of Russia. So, you know, the question, I guess,
- 2:13:25Speaker 29: for Ursula von der Leyen and these demons in Brussels
- 2:13:29Speaker 29: and across Europe is what is their price? You know, remember,
- 2:13:35Speaker 29: they've done a lot of damage to these European economies.
- 2:13:42Speaker 29: And one sure way out of that, of course, war
- 2:13:43Speaker 29: always helps, but another sure way out of that is
- 2:13:46Speaker 29: to get control of all of the resources in Russia.
- 2:13:49Speaker 29: the land, the people that they don't... There are 140
- 2:13:51Speaker 29: million people there they can't tax or control. There are
- 2:13:55Speaker 29: deep resources of all kinds that they can't seize and sell.
- 2:13:59Speaker 29: You know, the World Economic Forum group, they want the
- 2:14:02Speaker 29: profits from that. So I don't think that the tyrants
- 2:14:07Speaker 29: of Brussels and Berlin will allow this to end as
- 2:14:12Speaker 29: long as there's a Ukrainian alive and they can keep
- 2:14:15Speaker 29: pumping contractors in to pull triggers. So, you know, how
- 2:14:21Speaker 29: much more money will the Europeans pump in there? As
- 2:14:25Speaker 29: you know, our financing of this thing has been curtailed
- 2:14:28Speaker 29: for two years. So, you know, I guess the real
- 2:14:32Speaker 29: question is how much blood, death, destruction does Ursula von
- 2:14:38Speaker 29: der Leyen and her demonic friends who... Now, to be fair,
- 2:14:44Speaker 29: there's another problem here. Many of the people who... think
- 2:14:48Speaker 29: russia has done some harm to the united states and
- 2:14:50Speaker 29: therefore some kind of an enemy not pay attention to
- 2:14:53Speaker 29: the fact that how she killed more americans than any
- 2:14:55Speaker 29: russian ever had you know that they're confused okay they
- 2:15:00Speaker 29: think that this guy that's running germany and this clown
- 2:15:04Speaker 29: in france this starmer and in the u k they
- 2:15:07Speaker 29: think those are our allies the reality is those people
- 2:15:11Speaker 29: are even allies of their own people starmer is not
- 2:15:15Speaker 29: an ally of the british Right? Macron is not an
- 2:15:19Speaker 29: ally of the French. These are, just like Mark Carney
- 2:15:22Speaker 29: in Canada, who's not an ally of the Canadians. These
- 2:15:25Speaker 29: are radical globalist leftists who seek to implement a totalitarian
- 2:15:32Speaker 29: society across the West.
- 2:15:34Speaker 17: They seek to.
- 2:15:34Speaker 27: Use AI, for example, to do that. They seek to.
- 2:15:39Speaker 29: Use central bank digital currencies to do that. They seek
- 2:15:43Speaker 29: to rewrite every element of the economy so they can
- 2:15:46Speaker 29: control us at a level that we've never seen before
- 2:15:50Speaker 29: and can't even imagine as Americans. These are not our allies.
- 2:15:54Speaker 29: They're not their own people's allies. This clown running Spain,
- 2:15:57Speaker 29: I mean, he's not a clown. He doesn't know Justin Trudeau.
- 2:16:00Speaker 29: This guy's smart. Trudeau is an idiot. This guy is
- 2:16:04Speaker 29: not an ally of the Spanish people when he steps
- 2:16:06Speaker 29: up and says, I'm going to bring in as many
- 2:16:09Speaker 29: people from Africa and the Middle East as I can
- 2:16:11Speaker 29: to until all of spain is transformed in a way
- 2:16:14Speaker 29: that remember spain was occupied for seven hundred years and
- 2:16:19Speaker 29: it was a massive victory for christendom to drive the
- 2:16:22Speaker 29: moors out to drive these muslims out but it was
- 2:16:25Speaker 29: seven thirty two that there was the battle of tours
- 2:16:27Speaker 29: we talk about this a lot with charles martel in
- 2:16:29Speaker 29: the question i was where is charles martel today because
- 2:16:33Speaker 29: you've got a traitor in mcconnell in france you've got
- 2:16:36Speaker 29: this paris guy down in uh... it or sanchez it
- 2:16:39Speaker 29: whatever it down in um..
- 2:16:41Speaker 10: Uh..
- 2:16:41Speaker 29: Spain and they are absolutely destroying your own nations all
- 2:16:44Speaker 29: the while calling on the united states to do things
- 2:16:47Speaker 29: for them because we're supposed to pretend these these demons
- 2:16:50Speaker 29: are our allies they are not not ours and not
- 2:16:54Speaker 29: allies to their own people they are traders just like
- 2:16:56Speaker 29: the people in the u.s congress you know yes yourself
- 2:17:00Speaker 29: why don't we get any representation from congress well for
- 2:17:02Speaker 29: the same reason the spanish don't get any representation from
- 2:17:05Speaker 29: their government So I understand the confusion people have, especially, again,
- 2:17:11Speaker 29: I always pick on Jack Keane because, you know, here's
- 2:17:13Speaker 29: a guy that used to say smart things but hasn't
- 2:17:15Speaker 29: said anything, you know, honest in years. But if you
- 2:17:19Speaker 29: listen to him, you know, you think all kinds of
- 2:17:23Speaker 29: things that are wrong. Like you think these European leaders
- 2:17:28Speaker 29: are somehow representing allies to us.
- 2:17:31Speaker 4: And basically you're saying they're globalists that are changing the
- 2:17:34Speaker 4: makeup of their country with the replacement theory, correct?
- 2:17:38Speaker 29: That's correct. I mean, when you look at Sweden now
- 2:17:41Speaker 29: beginning re-migration, stepping to number two is the rape capital.
- 2:17:45Speaker 29: You go to the UK and look at their rape
- 2:17:47Speaker 29: rate and now realize that they've... followed a rape curve
- 2:17:51Speaker 29: that tracks exactly with their mass migration curve. They're handing
- 2:17:54Speaker 29: their women and children over to these people and saying,
- 2:17:57Speaker 29: go ahead and rape them. You think that's wrong? Go
- 2:18:01Speaker 29: look into what they do with the Pakistani grooming gangs.
- 2:18:03Speaker 29: Go look at it. You think I'm exaggerating? Go back
- 2:18:06Speaker 29: to the 80s and look at when the Pakistani gangs
- 2:18:09Speaker 29: started showing up on the scene. You know, I'm not
- 2:18:12Speaker 29: exaggerating these things. If you look at the rate per
- 2:18:15Speaker 29: hundred thousand or million of rapes in the UK, it
- 2:18:19Speaker 29: tracks perfectly with the mass migration. They have handed their
- 2:18:22Speaker 29: women and children to these third world migrants and said.
- 2:18:27Speaker 17: Rape on, dude.
- 2:18:28Speaker 29: I mean, this is obscene, and you're supposed to pretend...
- 2:18:32Speaker 29: that the people that did that, Keir Starmer and every
- 2:18:34Speaker 29: prime minister before him, maybe not Theresa May, but all
- 2:18:37Speaker 29: the rest, you think that guy is an ally to
- 2:18:41Speaker 29: his people? Hardly.
- 2:18:44Speaker 3: He's not an ally of ours.
- 2:18:45Speaker 4: That's why you're saying it's getting so you can't recognize
- 2:18:48Speaker 4: Ireland or Germany, or in the case you were talking
- 2:18:52Speaker 4: about Spain, it's not how you would think it to
- 2:18:55Speaker 4: be or how you would even recognize it. It's being
- 2:18:58Speaker 4: so dramatically overrun with all these immigrants that they're letting in.
- 2:19:03Speaker 29: An Irishman was sitting in a meeting the other day,
- 2:19:06Speaker 29: and there was a globalist on a screen, like a
- 2:19:08Speaker 29: talking head, like Max Headroom on a screen in front
- 2:19:10Speaker 29: of him. And he said, you know, they just brought
- 2:19:12Speaker 29: in 600 men into that community. And he said, well,
- 2:19:14Speaker 29: how do you intend to meet the sexual needs of
- 2:19:16Speaker 29: these 600 fighting and breeding age men? And the globalist said,
- 2:19:22Speaker 29: I don't. What's that imply? These people are, the Irish
- 2:19:28Speaker 29: people are being replaced in real time. according to what
- 2:19:33Speaker 29: I've heard from Irishmen and from the globalists, the globalists
- 2:19:38Speaker 29: intend to bring 5 million Indians into Ireland. Now, there
- 2:19:44Speaker 29: are only 5.4 million people in Ireland now. You're going
- 2:19:47Speaker 29: to double the population. And you're going to do that
- 2:19:51Speaker 29: with people from India. Do you think any shred of
- 2:19:53Speaker 29: Ireland will exist after that? Not only is it going
- 2:19:57Speaker 29: to be built up like, you know, like an average,
- 2:19:59Speaker 29: I don't know, you know, like these overpopulated cities, it's
- 2:20:03Speaker 29: only going to get built up. But Ireland will be
- 2:20:06Speaker 29: stamped out. It'll be nothing more than a curiosity for tourists.
- 2:20:11Speaker 18: All right.
- 2:20:12Speaker 4: And this is what they call a replacement theory that
- 2:20:16Speaker 4: you see going on, the globalist agenda to let all
- 2:20:19Speaker 4: of these people into these countries to change the makeup
- 2:20:25Speaker 4: of all of these countries and their identities, including the
- 2:20:30Speaker 4: United States.
- 2:20:32Speaker 29: Absolutely, and it goes beyond theory to plan, because they
- 2:20:35Speaker 29: actually wrote a document that explains it. And I think,
- 2:20:38Speaker 29: I don't know when that was, 10 or 15 years ago.
- 2:20:41Speaker 29: They wrote the document, and they've since been executing the plan.
- 2:20:44Speaker 29: They intend to replace Western civilization. You say, well, why
- 2:20:46Speaker 29: would they do that? Well, they would do that because
- 2:20:49Speaker 29: the United States and the Europeans have a certain set
- 2:20:52Speaker 29: of problems culturally. One, they expect their government to work
- 2:20:56Speaker 29: for them. You still see people that go to, like,
- 2:20:58Speaker 29: school board meetings and say, we pay your salary, which
- 2:21:01Speaker 29: is you know, sadly laughable now, because the school boards
- 2:21:05Speaker 29: don't care. You still see people like, the American people
- 2:21:09Speaker 29: and the Europeans still expect their governments to represent them.
- 2:21:13Speaker 29: But in third world countries, that's not expected. They expect
- 2:21:17Speaker 29: the government officials to steal all they can steal, all
- 2:21:20Speaker 29: they can get away with, do whatever they want, as
- 2:21:23Speaker 29: long as they can hold power. They don't expect to
- 2:21:26Speaker 29: have a voice, even in a democracy like India. You
- 2:21:30Speaker 29: think those 600 million people who live in abject poverty
- 2:21:33Speaker 29: think their government's responsive to them?
- 2:21:36Speaker 18: No.
- 2:21:38Speaker 29: So they want people who will do anything for one
- 2:21:43Speaker 29: more tortilla, one more grain of rice, one more dollar
- 2:21:46Speaker 29: from the federal treasury. They want people who do not
- 2:21:50Speaker 29: expect to have any kind of responsiveness or service from government,
- 2:21:55Speaker 29: but rather just expect and accept tyranny, as is the
- 2:21:58Speaker 29: norm in the globe. This Western civilization has been a
- 2:22:01Speaker 29: real problem for these people. Now, the upside is it's
- 2:22:04Speaker 29: Western civilization and capitalism that's created all the wealth and,
- 2:22:07Speaker 29: you know, raised everyone up from poverty. And now they're,
- 2:22:10Speaker 29: as you could tell from our $ 40 trillion debt and
- 2:22:13Speaker 29: all this fraud all over the country, they're all about
- 2:22:15Speaker 29: stripping all that wealth away, crushing the middle class, and
- 2:22:18Speaker 29: getting back to the system they had before, which is
- 2:22:22Speaker 29: tyranny and, you know, more of a feudalistic system.
- 2:22:31Speaker 4: Before I get to calls, callers, be patient here. What's
- 2:22:34Speaker 4: your thought about the situation currently going on in Iran
- 2:22:43Speaker 4: and Trump going to China as this continues to drag
- 2:22:46Speaker 4: on and as inflation continues to go up and fuel prices?
- 2:22:53Speaker 29: Yeah, you know, they asked about the inflation of the day,
- 2:22:54Speaker 29: and as you know, he said– you know what i'm
- 2:22:57Speaker 29: worried about is a nuclear weapon in iran which of
- 2:22:59Speaker 29: course is the only answer he could give thank god
- 2:23:01Speaker 29: he didn't say something like oh no i'm i'm desperately
- 2:23:04Speaker 29: focused on the midterms and the price of gasoline right
- 2:23:08Speaker 29: because that would give more energy to the radicals in
- 2:23:12Speaker 29: iran than anything else so he said the right thing
- 2:23:15Speaker 29: yeah not my issue my issue is that we don't
- 2:23:17Speaker 29: all die in a nuclear blast you know and i
- 2:23:20Speaker 29: know that's not really the issue for this war but
- 2:23:23Speaker 29: it sounds good on fox So what's happening now? What
- 2:23:28Speaker 29: are we, seven weeks in roughly, something like that? And
- 2:23:33Speaker 29: now we're, what, four weeks in maybe to the Iranians
- 2:23:36Speaker 29: being deprived of the cash because they can no longer
- 2:23:38Speaker 29: ship oil. We're about four weeks into the Chinese seeing
- 2:23:42Speaker 29: their reserves start to dwindle more because they can't get
- 2:23:45Speaker 29: that Iranian oil. They're not getting oil out of Venezuela
- 2:23:48Speaker 29: the way they were. They're still getting oil, but they're
- 2:23:50Speaker 29: not getting that, right? You're looking at probably increasing pressure
- 2:23:55Speaker 29: where we're– seven weeks into the iranians just seven weeks
- 2:23:59Speaker 29: into the iranians losing the first year of leadership the
- 2:24:03Speaker 29: second year of leadership every leading general in the i
- 2:24:06Speaker 29: r g c except the one that that went to
- 2:24:08Speaker 29: israel because he was actually a massage agent you know
- 2:24:12Speaker 29: it the pressure in iran has to be building tremendously
- 2:24:16Speaker 29: now we don't know exactly what's going on there because
- 2:24:20Speaker 29: there just isn't a lot of communication we're seeing nothing
- 2:24:22Speaker 29: from inside that country they have completely shut down the
- 2:24:25Speaker 29: internet We know that they're ground forces, and I'm just
- 2:24:28Speaker 29: relying on Saudi reports here, but we know that the
- 2:24:32Speaker 29: ground forces are relatively unharmed, right? They're pretty intact. But
- 2:24:37Speaker 29: you've still got to pay those people. As I keep saying,
- 2:24:40Speaker 29: tyranny is expensive. You don't get it at Costco. So
- 2:24:45Speaker 29: they need money. And so we have in the West
- 2:24:48Speaker 29: this idea that they can live forever with no money.
- 2:24:50Speaker 29: Maybe that's true. I mean, we really don't know exactly
- 2:24:53Speaker 29: what the circumstance is, But I'm guessing if you deprive
- 2:24:56Speaker 29: them of, you know, $ 400 million a day, it's going
- 2:24:59Speaker 29: to start having an impact. And people are going to
- 2:25:02Speaker 29: start saying, hey, maybe we should be talking to these people.
- 2:25:04Speaker 29: What is it they want us to do? Well, they
- 2:25:05Speaker 29: want no nuclear weapon. Okay, we don't have that now.
- 2:25:09Speaker 29: And they want the Strait of Hormuz open. Well, if
- 2:25:11Speaker 29: we do that, we make more money. So what the U.S.
- 2:25:14Speaker 29: is demanding costs the Iranians, I'm talking about the Iranian people, nothing.
- 2:25:20Speaker 6: Right?
- 2:25:21Speaker 29: And provide them then with a path becoming part of
- 2:25:24Speaker 29: the a broader social order no longer do you have
- 2:25:27Speaker 29: to be a client state of china you could actually
- 2:25:30Speaker 29: join the world of nations in a bigger way have
- 2:25:34Speaker 29: more wealth and prosperity what we're offering them is actually
- 2:25:37Speaker 29: a pretty sweet deal the price of giving up a
- 2:25:42Speaker 29: nuclear weapon of course that robs the the tyrants of
- 2:25:45Speaker 29: tehran of their ability to sit down and demand things
- 2:25:49Speaker 29: from the world order destroy Israel. And of course, I'm
- 2:25:52Speaker 29: sure that the 90 million people, let's say 30, 35
- 2:25:55Speaker 29: million would like to see Israel destroyed tomorrow.
- 2:25:57Speaker 6: Of course.
- 2:25:58Speaker 10: Okay.
- 2:25:59Speaker 29: But is that what they're going to like starve to
- 2:26:02Speaker 29: death for? Maybe, maybe, but I'll bet it's not 90%
- 2:26:06Speaker 29: of them, especially when you look at the country being
- 2:26:09Speaker 29: split the way it is with say 60 or 61%
- 2:26:13Speaker 29: being Persian and the rest being Azerbaijani and Kurdish and
- 2:26:17Speaker 29: all these other things. So it's not necessarily a completely
- 2:26:20Speaker 29: homogenous Shia community, right? It's broken up. They've probably lost
- 2:26:26Speaker 29: virtually all ability to support their proxies in Yemen. And,
- 2:26:33Speaker 29: of course, the Lebanese, you know, the Israelis are just
- 2:26:36Speaker 29: killing everything that moves in southern Lebanon. You know, they
- 2:26:39Speaker 29: just kill hundreds. The Christians, they don't care. The Lebanon villages,
- 2:26:43Speaker 29: they don't care. They're just going to set that up
- 2:26:45Speaker 29: to be reformed. colonized, I suppose. But I think the
- 2:26:52Speaker 29: level of desperation is unknowable. Now, the people in the
- 2:26:56Speaker 29: United States and in Israel that want us to destroy
- 2:26:59Speaker 29: Tehran and make it look like Gaza or southern Lebanon,
- 2:27:05Speaker 29: they're going to keep beating the drums of war, and
- 2:27:08Speaker 29: as Mark Levin does, they're going to call for nuclear weapons. Well,
- 2:27:12Speaker 29: we'll see what happens, because I just don't see how
- 2:27:15Speaker 29: you maintain power when you're denying your people all this
- 2:27:20Speaker 29: all this prosperity you know and when you're denying the
- 2:27:22Speaker 29: comfort for a a benefit that they don't see i
- 2:27:25Speaker 29: don't think the average iranians like dude i can't wait
- 2:27:28Speaker 29: to get my own nuclear weapon it's going to be
- 2:27:29Speaker 29: awesome i just don't think they're doing that so there's
- 2:27:33Speaker 29: a lot we don't know the culture's very different. You know,
- 2:27:36Speaker 29: they're used to living on a subsistence level since they
- 2:27:40Speaker 29: got rid of the Shah in many cases. So, you know,
- 2:27:42Speaker 29: we don't know a lot, but it's got to be
- 2:27:45Speaker 29: tremendous turmoil in that country. So I think that's great. Now,
- 2:27:49Speaker 29: Trump taking all these tech guys over to China, my
- 2:27:52Speaker 29: first reaction was, you know, I hate those guys because
- 2:27:54Speaker 29: they surveil us, they erode our rights, they've grabbed up
- 2:27:58Speaker 29: all this Well, you know, Google makes all the money
- 2:28:01Speaker 29: from people who create content, whether that be the New
- 2:28:04Speaker 29: York Times or the San Diego or the San Francisco
- 2:28:07Speaker 29: Bee or whether it be the podcast creator, whoever it is,
- 2:28:12Speaker 29: the radio shows, right? They get all the benefit of
- 2:28:14Speaker 29: that because they control the ad revenue. So they're stealing
- 2:28:17Speaker 29: from everyone every day, except in Australia where about, I
- 2:28:20Speaker 29: don't know, eight years ago they passed a law and
- 2:28:22Speaker 29: said they got to pay the people that they use
- 2:28:26Speaker 29: content from.
- 2:28:26Speaker 10: So..
- 2:28:29Speaker 29: So I don't like these people. I don't like their
- 2:28:30Speaker 29: business model. I don't like the fact that they use
- 2:28:34Speaker 29: this incredible wealth they've gotten to control our politics. Nevertheless,
- 2:28:40Speaker 29: if you're thinking about going to China and you want
- 2:28:42Speaker 29: them to know you're serious, taking along the people that
- 2:28:44Speaker 29: employ hundreds of thousands, millions of Chinese maybe, and generate massive,
- 2:28:51Speaker 29: massive amounts of money for that economy, probably a good strategy.
- 2:28:56Speaker 29: So I'm anxious to see what comes out of this.
- 2:28:59Speaker 29: Of course, China needs oil, as we've talked about extensively, right?
- 2:29:02Speaker 29: They produce about four. They're importing, I don't know, 12
- 2:29:04Speaker 29: or 16, something like that. So they've got a lot
- 2:29:08Speaker 29: of reasons to put pressure on the Iranians. That may
- 2:29:10Speaker 29: be part of what comes out of this. But I
- 2:29:13Speaker 29: kind of like the deal we're offering Iran. Listen, you
- 2:29:16Speaker 29: get to make $ 400 million a day, maybe even more.
- 2:29:19Speaker 29: And you get to join the nation. Just be part
- 2:29:23Speaker 29: of the world's community. All you have to do is
- 2:29:26Speaker 29: stop throwing missiles around, and open up the straight-up or
- 2:29:30Speaker 29: moves and agree to no nuclear weapons pretty sweet deal
- 2:29:35Speaker 29: i wouldn't be surprised at the pressure to take it
- 2:29:37Speaker 29: is growing inside that country zero-cost option will stop blowing
- 2:29:41Speaker 29: your stuff up oh by the way if the iranians
- 2:29:45Speaker 29: go berserk and start attacking water and oil infrastructure to
- 2:29:48Speaker 29: bigger way like i said once before mark levin may
- 2:29:51Speaker 29: get his wish because we cannot put soldiers on the
- 2:29:55Speaker 29: ground there insufficient numbers insufficient time to have an impact
- 2:30:01Speaker 29: if they start doing things that are crazy you could
- 2:30:03Speaker 29: see tactical nuclear smaller nuclear devices used in that theater
- 2:30:07Speaker 29: that would not surprise me because very very powerful people
- 2:30:11Speaker 29: want it people that have tremendous wealth and control and uh...
- 2:30:17Speaker 29: and it's a better option than putting soldiers on the
- 2:30:19Speaker 29: ground so they start attacking the infrastructure that keeps people
- 2:30:23Speaker 29: alive in the countries around them and around the world
- 2:30:26Speaker 29: They might get something they haven't counted on.
- 2:30:30Speaker 4: All right, so let's take some calls and more conversation
- 2:30:34Speaker 4: with G2. You're on the air.
- 2:30:36Speaker 37: I agree with what G2 says, and it's scary as hell. Now,
- 2:30:40Speaker 37: one thing in the Middle East, why don't we tell
- 2:30:43Speaker 37: Israel to give up their nukes, and then maybe the
- 2:30:46Speaker 37: Iranians would say, yeah, we don't need none now. Because
- 2:30:51Speaker 37: Israel and the United States won't admit... that Israel actually
- 2:30:55Speaker 37: has a nuclear weapons program, and they have, what, 200
- 2:30:59Speaker 37: or 300 nukes, I've been told, because if they were
- 2:31:04Speaker 37: to admit to it, we wouldn't be allowed to give
- 2:31:07Speaker 37: them any aid because they haven't signed the nonproliferation treaty
- 2:31:11Speaker 37: that even Iran has signed. So that thing right there
- 2:31:16Speaker 37: is scary. And then also today I heard that Tulsi
- 2:31:19Speaker 37: Gabbard is looking into investigating the 120... bio labs we
- 2:31:26Speaker 37: still have throughout the world. That's crazy. And then you
- 2:31:31Speaker 37: talk about regime change. Look what we did to Libya.
- 2:31:36Speaker 37: They had a guy that was a little eccentric running it, yeah,
- 2:31:39Speaker 37: in Gaddafi, but yet the country was very well run.
- 2:31:43Speaker 37: Free education, free housing, everything gone for it. Now they're
- 2:31:49Speaker 37: selling Africans for slaves. And then because of these recent changes..
- 2:31:53Speaker 4: All right, stand by, stand by, caller. I'll let G2
- 2:31:56Speaker 4: react to that and more in just a minute.
- 2:31:58Speaker 1: News Radio 570, WKBN. On News Radio 570, WKBN. We're
- 2:32:06Speaker 1: on firm from the Kingdom of Mahoning on this Wednesday evening.
- 2:32:08Speaker 1: It's 54 degrees. All right, G2, I'll let you respond
- 2:32:11Speaker 1: to this caller, then we'll take more calls. If you remember,
- 2:32:14Speaker 1: it's three points.
- 2:32:15Speaker 29: You touched on this situation in Libya, which is one
- 2:32:19Speaker 29: of our great shames, right?
- 2:32:20Speaker 27: I mean, Libya..
- 2:32:21Speaker 29: Had stabilized, U.S. companies had begun investing there again. And then,
- 2:32:26Speaker 29: I've told you this before, I remember the day I
- 2:32:28Speaker 29: was reading the paper, the Wall Street Journal, and there
- 2:32:30Speaker 29: was a picture of a Mirage fighter, a jet fighter
- 2:32:34Speaker 29: over Tripoli. And I thought, oh, no, here we go. And,
- 2:32:37Speaker 29: of course, the French were gone in a few seconds,
- 2:32:39Speaker 29: and the U.S. went in and did what we did.
- 2:32:41Speaker 29: And you're exactly right. As a result of that, the
- 2:32:44Speaker 29: slave markets returned to that country, the open-air slave markets.
- 2:32:50Speaker 29: And it's disgusting. And who did us that favor? Well,
- 2:32:55Speaker 29: the Obama crowd. And what was the result? ISIS took
- 2:32:58Speaker 29: 200 miles of Mediterranean coastline so they could export oil
- 2:33:04Speaker 29: and fund their operations. I haven't been able to identify
- 2:33:09Speaker 29: a single positive outcome from that. So if there was one,
- 2:33:13Speaker 29: then our deep state's PR team is terrible.
- 2:33:17Speaker 4: All right.
- 2:33:17Speaker 18: Thanks.
- 2:33:18Speaker 4: That's it.
- 2:33:19Speaker 36: Yeah.
- 2:33:20Speaker 13: Go ahead.
- 2:33:20Speaker 4: Call it quickly because I got a bunch of calls.
- 2:33:22Speaker 37: And also what it did, you know, we overthrew them.
- 2:33:24Speaker 37: We had to overthrow Syria because he was so bad.
- 2:33:28Speaker 37: And then what happened? All of these Syrians flooded into Germany.
- 2:33:33Speaker 37: Now it was the woman that was running it that
- 2:33:36Speaker 37: let them in.
- 2:33:37Speaker 29: Merkel.
- 2:33:39Speaker 37: Yeah, it's crazy. We just go around the world sowing
- 2:33:44Speaker 37: hatred against America. That's all we do. And G2, you
- 2:33:49Speaker 37: would have been a way better replacement for Rush than
- 2:33:52Speaker 37: Clay and Buck any day.
- 2:33:53Speaker 4: I agree.
- 2:33:54Speaker 37: Thanks for what you do, brother.
- 2:33:55Speaker 4: Thank you. You're on with G2.
- 2:33:58Speaker 27: Evening.
- 2:33:59Speaker 34: Two quick points.
- 2:34:00Speaker 12: First off, G2, when you were talking about Ireland there,
- 2:34:03Speaker 12: kind of reminds you of the movie Braveheart, when Longshanks
- 2:34:06Speaker 12: is talking about bringing back Prima Nocta. You know, if
- 2:34:08Speaker 12: we can't get the problem with Scott and there's too
- 2:34:10Speaker 12: many Scots, if we can't get them out, we'll breed
- 2:34:13Speaker 12: them out.
- 2:34:14Speaker 17: That's right.
- 2:34:15Speaker 4: Now, on to the war.
- 2:34:17Speaker 12: I believe, and I agree with you completely, Trump is
- 2:34:22Speaker 12: offering them a sweet deal. You know, Trump's a biller.
- 2:34:24Speaker 12: He doesn't want to destroy stuff. You know, in fact,
- 2:34:27Speaker 12: even a week ago, he was talking about, you know,
- 2:34:29Speaker 12: it would have been better if we could have captured
- 2:34:30Speaker 12: all those ships instead of destroying them. You know, he
- 2:34:33Speaker 12: doesn't believe in destruction, you know, and he doesn't believe
- 2:34:36Speaker 12: in killing people. But if Iran, if we can't get
- 2:34:40Speaker 12: them to come to reason, I think what it's going
- 2:34:43Speaker 12: to come down to is we're going to have to
- 2:34:45Speaker 12: eliminate the oil. Just take it, I mean, destroy Car Island,
- 2:34:49Speaker 12: send them back. I mean, if this regime is going
- 2:34:51Speaker 12: to stay in position, the only way they can... You know,
- 2:34:55Speaker 12: try to rebuild their nuclear energy and try to rebuild
- 2:34:59Speaker 12: all their surrogate armies, Hezbollah and the rest of them.
- 2:35:02Speaker 12: They need that oil money, and we're going to have
- 2:35:05Speaker 12: to deny them that oil money. I think that's the
- 2:35:09Speaker 12: only long-term solution, that they don't want to come to Texas.
- 2:35:12Speaker 4: Quick comment, G2Go.
- 2:35:14Speaker 29: I don't think destroying it would be necessary, because I
- 2:35:17Speaker 29: think we could hold perpetually indefinitely... I mean, or virtually
- 2:35:21Speaker 29: indefinitely a blockade and keep that oil for shipping. And
- 2:35:25Speaker 29: if you destroy it, then you've got another level of
- 2:35:29Speaker 29: problems with places that consume that oil, like our frenemies
- 2:35:33Speaker 29: in China. So I'm with you, though. We cannot let
- 2:35:36Speaker 29: them get $ 1, one RMB out of that oil. They
- 2:35:41Speaker 29: have to be denied all access to the market, just
- 2:35:44Speaker 29: as long as they're holding that straight closed for their
- 2:35:46Speaker 29: SUNY neighbors.
- 2:35:49Speaker 27: All right. Thank you.
- 2:35:50Speaker 4: With G2, you're on the air.
- 2:35:55Speaker 10: Hey, Ron.
- 2:35:55Speaker 14: Hey, G2.
- 2:35:55Speaker 13: Hey, there's 175 days until the midterms. Ron, you kind
- 2:35:58Speaker 13: of hit on it earlier. You know, we could win
- 2:36:01Speaker 13: this war and lose the midterms. G2, where would that
- 2:36:07Speaker 13: put us as a country?
- 2:36:10Speaker 29: Well, I mean, the greatest existential threat to this country
- 2:36:13Speaker 29: isn't Iran or China. It's certainly not Russia. The greatest
- 2:36:16Speaker 29: existential threat to this country is the erosion of our
- 2:36:18Speaker 29: Constitution and the corruption of our government and this globalist
- 2:36:22Speaker 29: movement to do to us what they're doing to Ireland
- 2:36:25Speaker 29: and the rest, and to implement this digital control grid.
- 2:36:29Speaker 29: So there's no question that the greatest threat to the
- 2:36:33Speaker 29: United States is the domestic enemy, and that domestic enemy
- 2:36:37Speaker 29: is positioning very well to be victorious in November. So
- 2:36:42Speaker 29: we've got a hell of a fight on our hands,
- 2:36:43Speaker 29: and we've got to get back to it.
- 2:36:45Speaker 13: Yeah, 100% agree with that. So when Donald Trump has
- 2:36:53Speaker 13: been on the ballot, the Republican Party and the America
- 2:36:57Speaker 13: agenda wins primarily. I mean, there's a big difference when
- 2:37:04Speaker 13: he's not. So I was talking to somebody today, of
- 2:37:08Speaker 13: all places, Kentucky, and he was furious with Thomas Massey.
- 2:37:13Speaker 13: So I had to set him straight on that. Donald
- 2:37:16Speaker 13: Trump being in China right now, I think he should
- 2:37:20Speaker 13: be having rallies and events for America First candidates every
- 2:37:28Speaker 13: day until the election. He needs to somehow get himself
- 2:37:32Speaker 13: put on the ballot again, because I think that's probably
- 2:37:36Speaker 13: going to be the only way that we are going
- 2:37:38Speaker 13: to win in November as Americans.
- 2:37:44Speaker 29: So you make a really good point. Here's the problem.
- 2:37:47Speaker 29: As long as we have Trader Thune and Spender Johnson
- 2:37:49Speaker 29: blocking the American agenda in the Congress, he doesn't have
- 2:37:53Speaker 29: a message to deliver. You know, gas prices are up now.
- 2:37:57Speaker 29: We understand that at a more complex level, but Joe
- 2:37:59Speaker 29: Mainstreet doesn't. They just went to the pump and it
- 2:38:01Speaker 29: was $ 90 instead of $ 60. So you've got gas prices up.
- 2:38:07Speaker 29: Inflation is down, but people believe it's up because the
- 2:38:10Speaker 29: cumulative inflation that came over these last few years is
- 2:38:14Speaker 29: hitting them every day. And then they're seeing their gas
- 2:38:16Speaker 29: price go up, which is going to, of course, spur
- 2:38:18Speaker 29: higher inflation. In fact, we've seen it go from like
- 2:38:21Speaker 29: 0.7 percent to 1.84 last time I checked, 8.8, something
- 2:38:24Speaker 29: like that. But it's not high, comparatively speaking. But he
- 2:38:28Speaker 29: doesn't have a great message on that. You've still got
- 2:38:31Speaker 29: the nation being flooded with H-1Bs. You've got the nation,
- 2:38:34Speaker 29: you know, overrun with these migrants. We're not doing mass deportations,
- 2:38:39Speaker 29: at least not as far as anyone can see.
- 2:38:41Speaker 27: And you don't have any.
- 2:38:42Speaker 29: Of the prosecutions that should have come for all the
- 2:38:44Speaker 29: treasonous acts committed over the last ten years. So he
- 2:38:48Speaker 29: doesn't have a great domestic message. What we really need
- 2:38:52Speaker 29: is for Trader Thune and Spender Johnson to be pushed aside.
- 2:38:57Speaker 29: Because they can't be saved. They're on the other side.
- 2:39:00Speaker 29: They're not our guys. They need to be removed. We
- 2:39:03Speaker 29: need to put patriots in those roles and go to
- 2:39:06Speaker 29: war in Congress together. cast aside this crazy body of
- 2:39:10Speaker 29: Senate rules and parliamentarians and all this nonsense. We need
- 2:39:14Speaker 29: to get that Save America Act passed and get this
- 2:39:16Speaker 29: American agenda going again. And I'll tell you, if we
- 2:39:19Speaker 29: have to pay every member of Congress $ 1 million in
- 2:39:22Speaker 29: cash to pass the Save America Act, I fully support
- 2:39:26Speaker 29: writing the check. Look, it's our printer anyway, right? Why
- 2:39:29Speaker 29: pay NGOs $ 700 million? or $ 7 billion so these guys
- 2:39:36Speaker 29: get half a billion, right? Let's just give them half
- 2:39:39Speaker 29: a billion. Yeah, let's just cut out the middleman. Why
- 2:39:42Speaker 29: do they just get the commission? Cut out the middleman.
- 2:39:45Speaker 29: Let's just spend $ 535 million, and I would propose we
- 2:39:48Speaker 29: structure it this way. We give them half up front.
- 2:39:51Speaker 29: That's $ 500 in cash. Then we give them half of
- 2:39:53Speaker 29: it over four years if they don't do anything to
- 2:39:56Speaker 29: hurt our election security and to make it tax-efficient and
- 2:40:01Speaker 29: take care of their spouses. We'll pay either them or
- 2:40:04Speaker 29: their designee. So they can allocate. They can even say, listen,
- 2:40:07Speaker 29: I've got three children. Pay them each a third. I've
- 2:40:09Speaker 29: got five kids. Pay them each 20%. Whatever they want,
- 2:40:12Speaker 29: just pay them the $ 535 million in cash to get
- 2:40:17Speaker 29: this done. Because paying their base..
- 2:40:18Speaker 13: A lot worse than the $ 5 trillion for the big,
- 2:40:21Speaker 13: beautiful bill.
- 2:40:23Speaker 29: Absolutely. We're paying their base and benefits. That's getting us nothing.
- 2:40:27Speaker 29: We cannot get representation in this Congress, and that's destroying
- 2:40:30Speaker 29: this country.
- 2:40:32Speaker 13: That's a great point.
- 2:40:33Speaker 4: All right. Thank you, Mike. Appreciate it. With G2, you're
- 2:40:37Speaker 4: on the air.
- 2:40:38Speaker 36: Hey, Ron.
- 2:40:40Speaker 35: Before I talk about Iran, I got a quick question
- 2:40:45Speaker 35: about Dan Rivers. I tried to get a hold of
- 2:40:48Speaker 35: him on that email address that's there. No longer any good.
- 2:40:53Speaker 35: He talked about a lawn care service over in North Lima,
- 2:40:58Speaker 35: and I wanted to get the address, but I can't
- 2:41:00Speaker 35: get a hold of him. And I tried to call
- 2:41:03Speaker 35: a station today, and you can't get a human to
- 2:41:05Speaker 35: answer the phone.
- 2:41:06Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't have a clue. But anyway, your question
- 2:41:10Speaker 4: for G2, please.
- 2:41:11Speaker 35: Okay, the statement a gentleman made earlier about getting rid
- 2:41:17Speaker 35: of the nukes, you know, that's like gun control. If
- 2:41:21Speaker 35: we got rid of the guns from the innocent people here,
- 2:41:25Speaker 35: the criminals would still have guns. So the same thing
- 2:41:28Speaker 35: applies to Iran. If we got rid of our nukes,
- 2:41:32Speaker 35: they'd still have theirs because they undermine everything. They're criminals.
- 2:41:37Speaker 35: And what I'd like to see happen, I want to
- 2:41:40Speaker 35: see Trump go in there and take the Ayatollah regime
- 2:41:45Speaker 35: down once and for all and let the people of
- 2:41:48Speaker 35: that country decide how they want to run their country
- 2:41:51Speaker 35: and we'll get the heck out of there. And the
- 2:41:54Speaker 35: people that are complaining about We've been in there two months,
- 2:41:58Speaker 35: three months, whatever. That's like 15 minutes compared to the
- 2:42:02Speaker 35: Vietnam War, being in Korea, you know, and all the
- 2:42:06Speaker 35: other wars. So let the man do the job and
- 2:42:09Speaker 35: get it done. But I want to see us get
- 2:42:12Speaker 35: rid of the ITOLA regime.
- 2:42:14Speaker 4: G2 comment?
- 2:42:16Speaker 29: Well, the problem is that getting rid of that regime
- 2:42:18Speaker 29: means a complete change in culture. And if you think
- 2:42:20Speaker 29: you're going to instill this idea of democracy, which we're
- 2:42:24Speaker 29: losing here by the day, You're going to instill that
- 2:42:26Speaker 29: in that country, and it's going to work. You're talking
- 2:42:29Speaker 29: about a complete cultural overhaul. And if you remember back
- 2:42:32Speaker 29: when this started seven or eight weeks ago and people
- 2:42:34Speaker 29: were talking about regime change, and I started explaining what
- 2:42:37Speaker 29: regime change takes. Now, we know because we've done it twice.
- 2:42:42Speaker 29: We did it in Japan. We did it in Germany.
- 2:42:44Speaker 29: And the statistics are quite staggering. So if you look
- 2:42:47Speaker 29: at those two countries and think about Iran and how
- 2:42:50Speaker 29: it's situated, you know, if we're willing to kill 10%
- 2:42:53Speaker 29: of their population, let's say 9 million people, and we're
- 2:42:56Speaker 29: willing to send people in there like the Bolsheviks went
- 2:42:58Speaker 29: to Germany and raped every woman they could find. If
- 2:43:01Speaker 29: we're willing to go to that level of brutality, we
- 2:43:03Speaker 29: might be able to get regime change. Unfortunately, we aren't, well,
- 2:43:07Speaker 29: or maybe fortunately, we're not able and willing to do that.
- 2:43:10Speaker 29: We're not committed to it. We're not going to bomb
- 2:43:13Speaker 29: our way into regime change. So this pressure campaign of
- 2:43:16Speaker 29: taking away their economics and taking out their military installations
- 2:43:21Speaker 29: is really the best tactic for now. And if you
- 2:43:24Speaker 29: think about the deploying forces, I'm telling you the bloodbath
- 2:43:28Speaker 29: that I believe would come from that, and I've talked
- 2:43:30Speaker 29: to some people that would know, the bloodbath that would
- 2:43:33Speaker 29: come from that would be something that would leave the
- 2:43:34Speaker 29: American people in a state of horror.
- 2:43:38Speaker 35: Well, you know, it was still tough living under the Shah,
- 2:43:41Speaker 35: but at least the Shah was fair, and he treated
- 2:43:44Speaker 35: the people, you know, unless they did something wrong, the
- 2:43:48Speaker 35: people were fine there. Because I flew into that country
- 2:43:51Speaker 35: for years and mingled with those folks.
- 2:43:55Speaker 6: Uh..
- 2:43:55Speaker 35: And everybody seemed pretty good but they feared the shaw
- 2:43:58Speaker 35: because the whatever he said something you better be able
- 2:44:01Speaker 35: to do you better be doing it but it wasn't
- 2:44:03Speaker 35: the kind of thing like that what the i told
- 2:44:05Speaker 35: was the one.
- 2:44:06Speaker 29: Now now and he was a smart guy and he
- 2:44:09Speaker 29: knew that culture and he knew what we were doing
- 2:44:11Speaker 29: it was both harmful and and and unhelpful you know
- 2:44:14Speaker 29: and and you talk to the guys who work the
- 2:44:16Speaker 29: rigs and stuff back then worked the fields they date
- 2:44:19Speaker 29: their picture this was not a country living under the
- 2:44:21Speaker 29: thumb of tyranny nevertheless The Iranian people overthrew him.
- 2:44:26Speaker 27: Cast him out.
- 2:44:27Speaker 29: You remember that, of course, took our hostages. And, you know,
- 2:44:31Speaker 29: it's never changed since. So the question, I think, has
- 2:44:34Speaker 29: to be asked, is this the form of government they want?
- 2:44:37Speaker 29: Because if it is, the only way to end it,
- 2:44:40Speaker 29: like I said, is with a bloodbath of a sort.
- 2:44:43Speaker 29: We don't have the intestinal fortitude to create.
- 2:44:48Speaker 4: Thanks for your call. You're on the air with G2.
- 2:44:51Speaker 34: Hello, Rod.
- 2:44:53Speaker 17: Hi, Mayor.
- 2:44:53Speaker 4: Go ahead.
- 2:44:55Speaker 34: Well, I'm going to put it this way, very simplistically,
- 2:44:59Speaker 34: not as complex as G2 is much harder than I.
- 2:45:03Speaker 34: I think that the president miscalculated. There's an old adage
- 2:45:09Speaker 34: in politics that you never get into a pissing contest
- 2:45:13Speaker 34: with a skunk. And he did get into the picture
- 2:45:17Speaker 34: contest because it's dumb. It's true.
- 2:45:23Speaker 12: It's true.
- 2:45:25Speaker 34: And it's backfired on him. He calls them lunatics. They
- 2:45:30Speaker 34: are lunatics. I would say go in and negotiate a
- 2:45:36Speaker 34: deal where the strait of humor muse is opened again.
- 2:45:41Speaker 4: Uh..
- 2:45:41Speaker 34: Create some type of oversight agency that they'll agree to
- 2:45:46Speaker 34: of course they're going to lie in cheap relative to
- 2:45:49Speaker 34: their nuclear development but there's also the massage the cia
- 2:45:54Speaker 34: in the satellite would have been blocked to make a
- 2:45:57Speaker 34: parking lot out of any area where they are developing
- 2:46:02Speaker 34: advanced nuclear weapons uh... or at the uh..
- 2:46:05Speaker 36: Uh..
- 2:46:06Speaker 34: High-grade uranium and that that's what i do As long
- 2:46:11Speaker 34: as the Strait is closed, those idiots are not going
- 2:46:17Speaker 34: to do anything as long as they strangle our economy.
- 2:46:22Speaker 34: He's got an opportunity to get in there and open
- 2:46:27Speaker 34: it and say, okay, let's sit down and come to
- 2:46:30Speaker 34: some reasonable agreement on the development of nuclear weapons. And
- 2:46:35Speaker 34: if they don't keep the agreement, uh... have met me
- 2:46:38Speaker 34: i'll go in there with the massage and destroy their
- 2:46:42Speaker 34: program uh... could be already steady set them back thirty
- 2:46:46Speaker 34: years well if that's true why can't we negotiate a
- 2:46:50Speaker 34: settlement coming to you too well there the reason.
- 2:46:54Speaker 29: Is that they haven't felt sufficient pain to agree to
- 2:46:56Speaker 29: anything yet they still want to get nuclear weapons if
- 2:47:00Speaker 29: they got another obama deal they could still in china
- 2:47:03Speaker 29: wanted to help them or or south korea or north
- 2:47:06Speaker 29: korea or russia They could still get nuclear weapons. We
- 2:47:09Speaker 29: need to make sure that doesn't happen. I think we
- 2:47:11Speaker 29: all agree with that. I think much of what you're
- 2:47:13Speaker 29: suggesting is kind of where we are. He's going to
- 2:47:16Speaker 29: start of their oil revenue he's going to keep them
- 2:47:19Speaker 29: blockaded uh... taking out whatever military assets that need to
- 2:47:23Speaker 29: be removed and continue to try to negotiate and get
- 2:47:26Speaker 29: them to talk about putting uh... putting in the conditions
- 2:47:30Speaker 29: you just described with the straight open where all the
- 2:47:32Speaker 29: neighbors can use it and where they no longer have
- 2:47:35Speaker 29: a stranglehold on their neighbors i think what you're saying
- 2:47:37Speaker 29: is right and With regard to him miscalculating, I think
- 2:47:41Speaker 29: it goes one little bit further than that. I think
- 2:47:43Speaker 29: you're right, he miscalculated. I also think he was lied
- 2:47:46Speaker 29: to and misled. I think Mossad knew exactly what was
- 2:47:50Speaker 29: going on in that country, knew exactly how they would react,
- 2:47:54Speaker 29: and I think he was misled, and I think he
- 2:47:56Speaker 29: relied on someone who wanted this war.
- 2:48:00Speaker 19: Well stated.
- 2:48:02Speaker 34: Well, he has to get in there and negotiate a
- 2:48:06Speaker 34: settlement agreement It gets our economy back on track and
- 2:48:09Speaker 34: allows the midterms to be successful for his party. Otherwise,
- 2:48:14Speaker 34: you talk about a disaster in this country, let the
- 2:48:17Speaker 34: Democrats take over Congress.
- 2:48:19Speaker 4: Thank you, George. Appreciate it. Back with you two.
- 2:48:24Speaker 1: In a minute. 570 WKBN.
- 2:48:26Speaker 36: All right.
- 2:48:27Speaker 4: News Radio 570 WKBN and Ron Furr back with G2
- 2:48:31Speaker 4: at 655 from the Kingdom of Mahoning. And you're on
- 2:48:34Speaker 4: the air.
- 2:48:35Speaker 48: Yes, IG2, I'd like to get your take real quick
- 2:48:38Speaker 48: on the 60 Minutes interview with NetYahu when he said
- 2:48:43Speaker 48: that the war is not over because his objectives have
- 2:48:47Speaker 48: not been made. And then his other point was he's
- 2:48:50Speaker 48: going to wean Israel off of U.S. military aid, which
- 2:48:54Speaker 48: is now about $ 3. 8 billion a year. And I've watched
- 2:48:59Speaker 48: him in his body language and that smirk in his
- 2:49:02Speaker 48: face his smirk and arrogance was really disgusting. It was
- 2:49:08Speaker 48: like he was running our foreign policy. And the price tag,
- 2:49:12Speaker 48: forget that $ 3. 8 billion a year, the price tag that
- 2:49:15Speaker 48: we're paying for this war is going to probably be
- 2:49:17Speaker 48: in excess of $ 200 million. And thanks to Bibi, all
- 2:49:23Speaker 48: the deals and negotiations, I think, are running through Israel.
- 2:49:26Speaker 48: And I'll debate with George down at the Don for
- 2:49:30Speaker 48: over coffee one day. But Mossad, that he likes to
- 2:49:33Speaker 48: bring up, lied. Mossad and Bibi lied that Trump gave
- 2:49:38Speaker 48: him false information and actually encouraged him into killing all
- 2:49:42Speaker 48: of the leaders in day one, which I think complicated
- 2:49:46Speaker 48: the negotiation process. But I think they have far too
- 2:49:53Speaker 48: much control. That's why I hope to God that Massey
- 2:49:57Speaker 48: wins his election next week. and tried you know he's
- 2:50:02Speaker 48: the only guy not taking his israeli money a pack
- 2:50:05Speaker 48: money everyone else is and they have far too much
- 2:50:09Speaker 48: control over or they should have gone to china with
- 2:50:12Speaker 48: trump i think they have far much uh... influence over
- 2:50:16Speaker 48: our government which you take on that so.
- 2:50:20Speaker 29: What they're good they've they've raised thirteen million dollars to
- 2:50:23Speaker 29: take out matthew because they don't like his positions on
- 2:50:25Speaker 29: foreign aid and and so i mean And because he
- 2:50:29Speaker 29: doesn't take it badly, these people are deeply involved in
- 2:50:33Speaker 29: our elections. And they may be American citizens, but they're still,
- 2:50:36Speaker 29: at heart, Israelis if they're acting in the interest of
- 2:50:39Speaker 29: Israel first and not America first, right? So there's no
- 2:50:44Speaker 29: doubt that they have tremendous power. I think you're right.
- 2:50:46Speaker 29: I think they deceived him. I believe Assad knew exactly
- 2:50:50Speaker 29: what was going on. Again, one of the leading Iranian
- 2:50:53Speaker 29: generals was one of their guys. I mean, they knew
- 2:50:56Speaker 29: exactly what was going on and what the reaction would be.
- 2:50:58Speaker 29: That's their business. They live in the region. They knew.
- 2:51:01Speaker 29: So I do believe that. I think Netanyahu feels the
- 2:51:05Speaker 29: power that he's got. He's enjoying it. He occasionally makes
- 2:51:08Speaker 29: comments like that that reveal how he understands.
- 2:51:12Speaker 27: What he's doing.
- 2:51:14Speaker 29: And I think, you know, if you say that out
- 2:51:17Speaker 29: loud in the United States, they call you anti-Semitic, but
- 2:51:19Speaker 29: I don't understand why, because it's just a fact. You know,
- 2:51:22Speaker 29: it's not anti-Semitic to say they just raised $ 13 million
- 2:51:25Speaker 29: to take out Thomas Massey because of his positions on
- 2:51:27Speaker 29: Israel not being filed.
- 2:51:29Speaker 4: We'll have to leave it there for now. Thank you, G2.
- 2:51:36Speaker 49: From ABC News, I'm Dave Packer. The deadly hantavirus cruise
- 2:51:41Speaker 49: outbreak now stretching across multiple counties with health officials monitoring
- 2:51:44Speaker 49: dozens of people here in the U.S. At least 36
- 2:51:47Speaker 49: people are being monitored for Hantavirus, all linked back to
- 2:51:50Speaker 49: that voyage that departed from South America.
- 2:51:52Speaker 47: The big thing that officials are doing right now are
- 2:51:54Speaker 47: the tracing efforts. They want to see everybody who came
