- 0:43Matters and today I
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: am joined by Anthony Dyer.
- 0:45So he is the founder of AI Workflows Agency and the host of the
- 0:49Champion Mindset
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: Collective podcast,
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: which is how we met.
- 0:54SPEAKER_01: based in Auckland and helps New Zealand businesses,
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: leaders,
- 0:57founders and non-technical teams turn AI from a confusing
- 1:01buzzword into practical
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: business results.
- 1:03As an AI and workflow automation consultant and fractional
- 1:07chief AI officer,
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: he works with businesses
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: to simplify operations,
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: automate repetitive tasks,
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: improve workflows,
- 1:14SPEAKER_01: and create more freedom for business owners and their teams.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: His approach is practical and human.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: Start with the real business problem first,
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: then apply AI and automation in a way that supports growth,
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: clarity,
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: and better ways of working.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: Through his AI workflows agency,
- 1:31SPEAKER_01: Anthony supports businesses with AI strategy,
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: workflow automation,
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: and
- 1:35Business Process Improvement Change Management and Practical
- 1:38Implementation and
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: it's built on the idea of automate,
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: optimize,
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: freedom and helping people work smarter,
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: scale faster and reclaim time for what matters most.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: And I know from running a business how important this is as well.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: And alongside this,
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: through the Champion Mindset Collective Podcast,
- 1:55SPEAKER_01: Anthony has meaningful conversations with business owners,
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: entrepreneurs,
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: leaders,
- 1:59SPEAKER_01: coaches,
- 1:59SPEAKER_01: authors,
- 2:00SPEAKER_01: and people who have overcome major life and career challenges.
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: The podcast explores mindset,
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: resilience,
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: leadership,
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: personal growth,
- 2:07SPEAKER_01: business transformation,
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: AI,
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: productivity,
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: and what it means to live with a champion mindset.
- 2:14Anthony's own journey has strongly shaped the way he leads and
- 2:17serves others.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: Having experienced career transitions,
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: restructures,
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: redundancy,
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: rejection,
- 2:21SPEAKER_01: and personal challenge,
- 2:22SPEAKER_01: he brings a real human element to his work.
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: He believes technology can help business grow,
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: but mindset,
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: clarity,
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: courage,
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: and leadership are what help people move through with purpose.
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: So a big welcome to the show,
- 2:35SPEAKER_01: Anthony,
- 2:36and I'm excited to unpack your journey because I know it is a
- 2:39big one that's led
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: you to where you are today.
- 2:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah, thank you so much Catherine.
- 2:44SPEAKER_02: It's great to be here and yeah,
- 2:46it's a very big journey full of twists and turns and ups and
- 2:48downs and lots of
- 2:49SPEAKER_02: speed bumps and hurdles and along the way,
- 2:51SPEAKER_02: yeah.
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: Well, whose life isn't like that?
- 2:58SPEAKER_02: Everyone's.
- 2:59SPEAKER_02: It's how you take it though, it's how you perceive it, right?
- 3:03SPEAKER_02: It's happening for us, not to us.
- 3:05A hundred percent and I'm glad you brought that up because and
- 3:08it does become our
- 3:09story right that we share and it's interesting because the
- 3:12episode that has come
- 3:13out just before yours by the time people are listening to this
- 3:16we talk about how
- 3:17your story is what makes you unique so I feel this is such a
- 3:21beautiful segue into
- 3:22what you do not only bringing people's stories and unique and
- 3:27you know through your
- 3:27podcast but also how you allow people to express themselves
- 3:32through their business
- 3:33SPEAKER_01: by making it easier with AR
- 3:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah, absolutely.
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: So my first question is,
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: how did you come to stepping out of the world that you were living in,
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: for a better lack of explaining that,
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: and then becoming,
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 3:49SPEAKER_01: this advocate of creating,
- 3:51SPEAKER_01: optimizing,
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 3:53making life easier so you can have more freedom and time and
- 3:57doing what you love?
- 3:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah,
- 3:58SPEAKER_02: well,
- 3:58SPEAKER_02: look,
- 3:58I started my journey in corporate world and I've been in
- 4:02technology probably 30,
- 4:05SPEAKER_02: 25,
- 4:05SPEAKER_02: 30 years in technology.
- 4:07And,
- 4:09you know,
- 4:09as you know,
- 4:10in corporate world,
- 4:11they are quite slow and change and so on.
- 4:18SPEAKER_02: And I always found that I was kind of like way ahead.
- 4:23SPEAKER_02: Like my brain is almost like Elon Musk.
- 4:26SPEAKER_02: I tend to
- 4:27you know like 100 miles ahead of everyone else and then the
- 4:31people get overwhelmed
- 4:32so that was a bit of a challenge but like I saw how
- 4:37inefficiencies could impact the
- 4:43productivity but also not just the productivity but also your
- 4:48self-esteem and who
- 4:50you are as a person and your identity right because you know
- 4:53you're constantly
- 4:54SPEAKER_02: banging your head against a brick wall because
- 4:57SPEAKER_02: You can't move forward.
- 4:58SPEAKER_02: And I just got sick of that.
- 4:59SPEAKER_02: And for me, it was a journey of 24 restructures and four redundancies.
- 5:05SPEAKER_02: And obviously there was a pattern appearing there, right?
- 5:07And there was like over that 25 years and going through those
- 5:1324 restructures,
- 5:14SPEAKER_02: which had a big impact in terms of my childhood,
- 5:18SPEAKER_02: which I can talk about as well.
- 5:20But like those restructures showed me that there was a bit of a
- 5:22pattern appearing.
- 5:24and the time was getting shorter and shorter in between those
- 5:27redundancies.
- 5:28SPEAKER_02: So for me,
- 5:29SPEAKER_02: the last one,
- 5:30SPEAKER_02: which was in 2024,
- 5:32SPEAKER_02: was the one that kind of,
- 5:35SPEAKER_02: I guess,
- 5:37pushed me into or gave me the realization that I'm not meant to
- 5:43be doing this
- 5:43SPEAKER_02: anymore.
- 5:43SPEAKER_02: I'm meant to be actually working for myself.
- 5:46So then with AI coming on the scene,
- 5:50I mean,
- 5:50AI has been around since the 60s,
- 5:52but
- 5:53SPEAKER_02: Since AI actually became more available to businesses,
- 5:57SPEAKER_02: I thought,
- 5:58SPEAKER_02: well,
- 5:59SPEAKER_02: small,
- 5:59SPEAKER_02: medium businesses could benefit from this.
- 6:01And so what I did is I decided to start my AI workflows
- 6:06business agency to help
- 6:07SPEAKER_02: small,
- 6:07SPEAKER_02: medium businesses work smarter and not harder.
- 6:10SPEAKER_01: Technology.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: I love that journey too, because, you know, it highlights how
- 6:16I feel if you hadn't come to that realization you would have
- 6:19just kept in that
- 6:20cycle of redundancies and restructures and that you know and
- 6:24this is where I say to
- 6:26people look at the signs in your life because the universe will
- 6:29keep turning them
- 6:30up and like you said it kept getting quicker and quicker and
- 6:32quicker because
- 6:33they're like oh my goodness he still hasn't got the message he
- 6:35still hasn't got the
- 6:36message he still hasn't got the message oh yes he's got the
- 6:38message and then yeah
- 6:42SPEAKER_02: yeah well to get to give you context the first one was in Twitter and
- 6:46The second one was in 2019 The third one was in 2023 And then
- 6:54the fourth one was in
- 6:56SPEAKER_02: 2024 Three months into the role Yeah,
- 6:59SPEAKER_01: yeah
- 7:00right yeah and this is this is three months into a role in a
- 7:04council organization
- 7:05so for anyone tuning in from America overseas basically in
- 7:10Australia and New
- 7:10Zealand I feel it's the same if you get a role in council
- 7:13you're pretty much set
- 7:15you know it's a job for life it's a job for life it's really
- 7:17hard to get fired
- 7:18SPEAKER_01: unless you really really stuff up you know and you can you can sit there
- 7:23SPEAKER_01: comfortably get beautiful benefits like it's a very cushy
- 7:26SPEAKER_01: Cushy Position.
- 7:27So the fact that that role got made redundant is really
- 7:32interesting in terms of,
- 7:34SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 7:34SPEAKER_01: and you would have gone in with that mindset too,
- 7:36SPEAKER_01: right,
- 7:37SPEAKER_01: Anthony?
- 7:37SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah, I'm set.
- 7:38SPEAKER_01: I've got this job.
- 7:39SPEAKER_01: This is amazing.
- 7:40SPEAKER_01: I'm working for council.
- 7:41SPEAKER_01: I'm done.
- 7:42SPEAKER_01: You know, this is it.
- 7:43SPEAKER_01: I'm ready.
- 7:43Yes and no,
- 7:44because I actually went in during a redundancy,
- 7:46during a restructure.
- 7:48SPEAKER_02: and then I came out the other end through another restructure.
- 7:52SPEAKER_02: But the thing is,
- 7:54SPEAKER_02: I knew that,
- 7:54SPEAKER_02: you know,
- 7:55SPEAKER_02: having gone through it so many times,
- 7:56I knew that the times were that basically businesses were going
- 8:00to go through a lot
- 8:02SPEAKER_02: of this over and over and over and over again.
- 8:03But for me also was the fact that,
- 8:06did I really want to work for someone anymore?
- 8:09SPEAKER_02: Or do I actually want to, because I'm 55 now, so I was like,
- 8:13SPEAKER_02: I don't want to be sitting in my deathbed at some time in the future,
- 8:16SPEAKER_02: looking back and going,
- 8:17SPEAKER_02: I didn't back myself and I didn't believe myself.
- 8:19SPEAKER_02: So for me, it was like, okay, this is the last straw.
- 8:23SPEAKER_02: It's time for me to build something for myself.
- 8:26SPEAKER_02: And so I did.
- 8:28SPEAKER_02: And,
- 8:28SPEAKER_02: you know,
- 8:28SPEAKER_02: like having the two brands,
- 8:31SPEAKER_02: I can talk more about this,
- 8:32SPEAKER_02: but having the two brands,
- 8:33SPEAKER_02: I had to then also work out.
- 8:36SPEAKER_02: How do I integrate these two brands together so that I'm not running two
- 8:39SPEAKER_02: businesses,
- 8:40SPEAKER_02: but I'm actually,
- 8:41SPEAKER_02: they're actually integrated businesses,
- 8:43SPEAKER_02: yeah.
- 8:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah,
- 8:44SPEAKER_01: and so that they,
- 8:46SPEAKER_01: you don't feel like you have to keep stepping into different roles,
- 8:49SPEAKER_01: jumping between the two,
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: right?
- 8:50You want it more integrative and collaborative rather than
- 8:53separate things.
- 8:54And I love too that you have created the AI to work for you on
- 9:00your podcast and your brand.
- 9:02SPEAKER_01: As much,
- 9:03it's like the perfect example of how your technology can
- 9:06support you in doing
- 9:08SPEAKER_01: whatever you're passionate about as well.
- 9:11SPEAKER_02: Yeah,
- 9:11SPEAKER_02: well,
- 9:11SPEAKER_02: as you know,
- 9:12SPEAKER_02: as a podcaster,
- 9:13SPEAKER_02: and most people who go into podcasting think that it's a sweet job,
- 9:19SPEAKER_02: it's a sweet thing,
- 9:19SPEAKER_02: and you're going to have a lot of fun,
- 9:21SPEAKER_02: which you do.
- 9:23SPEAKER_02: But most people don't realize how much work happens behind the scenes.
- 9:27SPEAKER_02: And for me, the way I work is I hold myself to quite high standards.
- 9:32And so it would take me almost a whole day to release an
- 9:35episode,
- 9:37eight hours or more.
- 9:39SPEAKER_02: And then what I did is I thought to myself early,
- 9:43SPEAKER_02: late last year,
- 9:44SPEAKER_02: was that now that we've got AI on the scene,
- 9:47SPEAKER_02: how can I systemize and how can I automate some of these things
- 9:50SPEAKER_02: so that I'm not spending as much time.
- 9:53So I ended up building my website through Lovable.ai and I
- 9:57ended up automating and
- 9:59SPEAKER_02: systemizing all of that stuff.
- 10:01SPEAKER_02: Now it takes me less than a quarter of the time to release an episode.
- 10:05SPEAKER_02: The longest thing that takes me is the actual editing.
- 10:09SPEAKER_02: And thanks to Riverside,
- 10:10it actually makes it so much easier because last year using
- 10:15Filmora Wondershare,
- 10:16SPEAKER_02: I would spend a couple of hours at least
- 10:20but with the tools available it's so much easier and then doing
- 10:23simple things like
- 10:24integrating your YouTube channel to your website so you don't
- 10:29have to manually go
- 10:30and copy and paste stuff you just literally open the thing and
- 10:33select a video you
- 10:34want and it automatically puts it in so there's a whole lot of
- 10:37systemization even
- 10:38SPEAKER_02: my guesting process so
- 10:40SPEAKER_02: As you know,
- 10:41SPEAKER_02: getting a guest on board,
- 10:43SPEAKER_02: you have to go back and forth with emails and a whole lot of stuff,
- 10:45SPEAKER_02: right?
- 10:46SPEAKER_02: You came through my guesting process.
- 10:48SPEAKER_02: What was your experience?
- 10:50SPEAKER_01: Well, everything was done pretty much in the one email.
- 10:53SPEAKER_01: It was like one and done kind of thing.
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: So it was just easy.
- 10:58SPEAKER_01: And I guess this is where,
- 11:00SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 11:01and it's interesting for me from developing my podcasting form
- 11:05of what I get from
- 11:06SPEAKER_01: people.
- 11:07I slowly started adding more things from learning like actually
- 11:11no that'd be really
- 11:12handy to have the person's phone number so I can text them if I
- 11:16drop out or if they
- 11:17they can't connect you know or be really handy to have this
- 11:20information from them
- 11:22and now just talking to you from before I'm like oh yeah maybe
- 11:24I should get put a
- 11:25SPEAKER_01: section where they can upload their headshot
- 11:27SPEAKER_01: You know,
- 11:28SPEAKER_01: so all these kinds of things come from it,
- 11:30SPEAKER_01: but you just put it all in the one package so it's done.
- 11:33SPEAKER_01: It's like, oh yeah, here it is.
- 11:35SPEAKER_02: And there was two reasons for that.
- 11:38SPEAKER_02: One was to simplify the process for the guest,
- 11:41but then also simplify and reduce the time that it takes me to
- 11:45do all that stuff.
- 11:45And what I've got on my side is a whole guesting management
- 11:50system that I've built.
- 11:52SPEAKER_02: And so when you submit a form, it automatically appears in there.
- 11:57I can then go after the discovery call I can then go push the
- 12:00approve button and
- 12:01you get an email saying you've been approved you go to that
- 12:04link fill out the
- 12:05information now all of the information that you provide gets
- 12:09gets restored and then
- 12:11repurposed for when the show notes get created when the script
- 12:14gets created so all
- 12:15of that stuff uses the information that you provided to me so I
- 12:19was like I don't
- 12:20want to just have information for the sake of having
- 12:22information but I want to use
- 12:24SPEAKER_02: it in some shape or form so
- 12:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah,
- 12:26and I love the unique way that you present each of your guests
- 12:29through your podcast
- 12:31SPEAKER_01: as well.
- 12:33Every guest,
- 12:34every episode has an episode page with all the guest details.
- 12:38SPEAKER_02: It has the episode information,
- 12:40SPEAKER_02: it has the videos,
- 12:42it has an article that's written from the transcript and also
- 12:46the transcript gets
- 12:47converted or distilled down into a three to four page practical
- 12:50guide that you can
- 12:51SPEAKER_02: actually download and start to apply those principles in your life.
- 12:55so how many times have you listened to an episode and you've
- 12:57forgotten everything
- 12:58that was said on there but imagine being able to download this
- 13:02three-page guide and
- 13:03be able to go how can I put this into practice now so I can
- 13:07then go through the
- 13:07change and actually become the better version of me yeah yeah
- 13:11which is amazing with
- 13:13all the AI that you use how do you not lose yourself within the
- 13:16AI so I've built a
- 13:18SPEAKER_02: brain that my second brain effectively thank you just like
- 13:23SPEAKER_01: Hang on, you're counteracting the question there.
- 13:27SPEAKER_02: No.
- 13:28SPEAKER_02: So within my platform,
- 13:29SPEAKER_02: because I mean,
- 13:30SPEAKER_02: most people will think my championmindsetcollective.com is a website.
- 13:34SPEAKER_02: On the front side of the front end of it, it is a website.
- 13:38SPEAKER_02: But in the back end, there is so much automation, so much context for AI.
- 13:44SPEAKER_02: So when Gemini in the back end is doing something for me,
- 13:48it's actually referencing a brain and it's referencing
- 13:52information about me and my
- 13:53voice so when it crafts it it knows exactly how to so for
- 13:58example let's take a
- 14:00script for an episode right I've now got a drop down list with
- 14:04Anthony's voice and
- 14:06different types of styles that I want to create the script in
- 14:10and then there's
- 14:11SPEAKER_02: another drop down where I can say I want to go have a deep and meaningful
- 14:15SPEAKER_02: conversation or I want to just have
- 14:18a general conversation or I want to go into,
- 14:21you know,
- 14:21I've got different options.
- 14:23And based on that,
- 14:24Gemini will create the,
- 14:26in the back end,
- 14:27creates the script for me.
- 14:29SPEAKER_02: Then once I've done that,
- 14:30I will read through it and just make sure if there's anything I
- 14:34want to update or
- 14:34SPEAKER_02: edit.
- 14:36And then I push a button and it sends an email to the guest and
- 14:39says,
- 14:39here's your script.
- 14:40SPEAKER_02: Here's your questions.
- 14:41SPEAKER_02: So, yeah.
- 14:42So I guess in summary of that is that obviously you had to put
- 14:46a lot of work in the
- 14:46SPEAKER_01: background to make sure it was aligned with what you wanted to share.
- 14:50But also I like that you emphasize that you still read through
- 14:54and edit and change
- 14:55SPEAKER_01: things because I feel that's where a lot of people get lost,
- 14:58where they'll just do plain acceptance of whatever comes
- 15:02through rather than using
- 15:03SPEAKER_01: their discernment to challenge if it's aligned or not.
- 15:07SPEAKER_02: So I'll give you an example on what's today.
- 15:10SPEAKER_02: Today is Thursday.
- 15:12SPEAKER_02: Tuesday night,
- 15:13SPEAKER_02: I did an interview with a person and the guy said to me,
- 15:18SPEAKER_02: your questions are very AI-ish.
- 15:20SPEAKER_02: And I was like, yeah, I thought they were and they're very long.
- 15:24SPEAKER_02: So I took his feedback on board.
- 15:29SPEAKER_02: I then went to ChatGPT and I said, hey chat, this is what's going on.
- 15:33SPEAKER_02: Can we simplify this?
- 15:34SPEAKER_02: So then it gave me the prompt.
- 15:36SPEAKER_02: I put that into Lovable and I said, now, can you build into this
- 15:40to make sure that I can have the control on how I want that
- 15:45script to sound like.
- 15:46So what I've done there is I've taken live feedback from a
- 15:50guest straight after an
- 15:52SPEAKER_02: episode,
- 15:53SPEAKER_02: made changes so that the next episode is not the same.
- 15:58So it's all about,
- 15:59and when you're doing software development,
- 16:01it's all about iterations.
- 16:03Every iteration you do,
- 16:04you've got to make it better than what it was before.
- 16:08SPEAKER_02: And so you've got to go through that process of, you know,
- 16:11SPEAKER_02: Looking back and going,
- 16:12SPEAKER_02: okay,
- 16:12SPEAKER_02: reflecting back and going,
- 16:13SPEAKER_02: okay,
- 16:14SPEAKER_02: what worked,
- 16:14SPEAKER_02: what didn't work,
- 16:15SPEAKER_02: and what can I change to make it better the next time?
- 16:19SPEAKER_02: And if we do that,
- 16:20SPEAKER_02: even in our own lives as human beings,
- 16:22SPEAKER_02: when we become aware of those things,
- 16:24SPEAKER_02: then we become a better version of ourself.
- 16:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, 100%.
- 16:28SPEAKER_01: And I feel too,
- 16:30SPEAKER_01: so how have you noticed that applying these optimization tools,
- 16:34what are the changes that have happened in your life because
- 16:37you're not putting all
- 16:38SPEAKER_01: that time and energy into medial tasks?
- 16:43SPEAKER_02: I have more time to have more conversations.
- 16:46I have more time to do the things that I've been putting on the
- 16:51back burner.
- 16:53SPEAKER_02: I'm in the process of building an academy.
- 16:57SPEAKER_02: So that's the other thing is you've got the video,
- 17:00SPEAKER_02: the article,
- 17:01SPEAKER_02: the guide,
- 17:02you've got the chatbot that also has a knowledge base behind it
- 17:06and now I'm
- 17:07building an academy where people can then come on and it's got
- 17:11like a school type
- 17:14SPEAKER_02: platform and it has a classroom,
- 17:17SPEAKER_02: it has courses and there would be
- 17:19um there'll be like group coaching there'll be all sorts of
- 17:23stuff and events so I
- 17:24has gives me more time to plan and build that stuff and then at
- 17:28some point I can't
- 17:29do everything myself but at some point as I start to to bring
- 17:34cash in and start I
- 17:35can start bringing other people on board to help me do that and
- 17:40I can start
- 17:40stepping up and at the CEO level where I'm meant to be not
- 17:44doing the doing but just
- 17:45SPEAKER_02: having conversations in an ideal um
- 17:49SPEAKER_02: Point in time,
- 17:50I want to be able to just turn up to an interview and have a
- 17:53conversation and not
- 17:55SPEAKER_02: worry about everything else because someone else is taking care of that,
- 17:58SPEAKER_02: even with the use of AI.
- 18:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah,
- 18:00SPEAKER_01: and I feel reflecting that back,
- 18:02it's like you are putting in the hard work now so that you can
- 18:07create the systems
- 18:08to give you that more flexibility and freedom so you can do
- 18:11more of what you love
- 18:13SPEAKER_01: as you step further into your business.
- 18:16100% and if you listen to the mindset mentor Rob Dial he says
- 18:22do you want to do the
- 18:22hard stuff now and have an easier life later or do you want to
- 18:26have an easy life
- 18:27now and do the hard stuff later ask yourself that question for
- 18:31me it's the do the
- 18:33SPEAKER_01: hard stuff now yeah that's yeah
- 18:36SPEAKER_01: For me,
- 18:36SPEAKER_01: in a reading the other week,
- 18:37SPEAKER_01: the thing that came through was choose your level of suffering.
- 18:41So would you rather suffer now doing the hard stuff so that
- 18:45your life is easier later?
- 18:46Would you rather suffer later because you put off doing the
- 18:49hard stuff that would
- 18:50SPEAKER_01: allow you to get to where you wanted?
- 18:52SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 18:52SPEAKER_02: Exactly.
- 18:52SPEAKER_02: And like a guest of mine,
- 18:54SPEAKER_02: Joe Gulcerium,
- 18:56SPEAKER_02: he said that either way,
- 19:00SPEAKER_02: so whether you work in a job or whether you're an entrepreneur,
- 19:03SPEAKER_02: either way you're going to suffer.
- 19:06So do you want to suffer at someone else's hand or do you want
- 19:09to suffer at your own hand?
- 19:10SPEAKER_02: So think about it.
- 19:12SPEAKER_02: Entrepreneurship is not for everyone.
- 19:14SPEAKER_01: No.
- 19:15SPEAKER_02: But if you are an entrepreneur, suffering is part of life.
- 19:19SPEAKER_02: You're going to suffer,
- 19:20but the thing is you can lessen that suffering if you start
- 19:26becoming aware and
- 19:27start taking steps to become a better version of yourself and
- 19:31start changing.
- 19:32SPEAKER_02: Because if nothing changes, nothing changes.
- 19:35SPEAKER_02: You're just going to be the same.
- 19:36I had I was listening I think I was listening to somebody and
- 19:40it said if you're not
- 19:41choosing to change every day and expand who you are aren't you
- 19:44just taking one step
- 19:45closer to dying because you're not really living because you're
- 19:49not choosing to
- 19:50embrace the need like it's not about push push push we're not
- 19:53talking about this
- 19:54push hustle culture in fact Anthony is creating systems to pull
- 19:57you away from that
- 19:58SPEAKER_01: so you don't have to do that right I don't believe
- 20:01yeah exactly and we can't maintain being in that hustle culture
- 20:06this is about
- 20:07actually all right what is my dream what is my vision what are
- 20:11the steps I need to
- 20:12take to get there and how can I actually use this technology
- 20:16coming through and the
- 20:17SPEAKER_01: tools to make that easier on me
- 20:20and you know when I was working as a speech pathologist I'm
- 20:23sure everyone's heard
- 20:24this but it's like the KISS principle keep it simple stupid you
- 20:27know so once you
- 20:29get these beautiful systems that are simple and able to help
- 20:32you get through the
- 20:33day why are you doing all the hard work to to to make your life
- 20:38harder rather than
- 20:39oh I can just feed it into this system that I've got trained
- 20:42that knows what I want
- 20:45SPEAKER_01: to allow it to come out the other side.
- 20:46SPEAKER_01: Check it's still okay.
- 20:48SPEAKER_01: Use your discernment there.
- 20:49SPEAKER_01: But at the same time, you save so much time.
- 20:52I know for me personally,
- 20:54starting to use AI as a tool has saved me time on editing.
- 20:58SPEAKER_01: It saved me time on not just my podcast, but also like my book writing.
- 21:03SPEAKER_01: and my articles that I write and things like that.
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: Also,
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 21:07SPEAKER_01: marketing campaigns,
- 21:08SPEAKER_01: it takes forever and like a fortune,
- 21:11SPEAKER_01: whereas you can start to get these really nitty gritty things,
- 21:14SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 21:14SPEAKER_01: but actually embracing it and giving it feedback.
- 21:17SPEAKER_01: And don't get me wrong, some days it's terrible.
- 21:20Some days it's like you have to walk away and you're like,
- 21:24today's not a day.
- 21:25SPEAKER_01: It's a sign.
- 21:26I'm going to go outside or do something today or just have
- 21:29conversations and focus
- 21:31SPEAKER_01: on something that you're passionate about.
- 21:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah, AI also needs a rest from time to time.
- 21:38SPEAKER_01: My co-host on a new podcast I'm doing, he calls it the lazy employee.
- 21:42SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 21:44SPEAKER_02: You need to give it some annual leave.
- 21:48SPEAKER_02: You do, you do, you do.
- 21:50SPEAKER_02: And I was talking to,
- 21:52on Monday I did my first AI coaching session with a business
- 21:58owner and I said to
- 22:00SPEAKER_02: her,
- 22:00SPEAKER_02: I said,
- 22:00SPEAKER_02: look,
- 22:01SPEAKER_02: we will not be discussing tools in this session.
- 22:05SPEAKER_02: And she looked at me and I said, no, this session is about strategy.
- 22:08SPEAKER_02: It's about understanding your vision,
- 22:10SPEAKER_02: your mission,
- 22:11SPEAKER_02: objectives,
- 22:13SPEAKER_02: and then understanding where your bottlenecks are.
- 22:15SPEAKER_02: And I said, then we're going to create a plan
- 22:17So I had built an assessment which is again built through
- 22:21Lovable and it's built
- 22:22SPEAKER_02: through AI and it's got six areas of your business and you go through,
- 22:26SPEAKER_02: answer a whole lot of questions and then at the end of it,
- 22:29it produces a report which you can download in a PDF and take
- 22:32away with you and the
- 22:34conversation we had before we did the assessment and everything
- 22:38we discussed when
- 22:39we downloaded the report or we saw it on the screen it was
- 22:44exactly what we talked
- 22:46SPEAKER_02: about
- 22:48SPEAKER_02: So now, then she says, well, I said, well, now you've got clarity.
- 22:53SPEAKER_02: You see,
- 22:53SPEAKER_02: most people going after tools,
- 22:56SPEAKER_02: the capability and the execution side of things,
- 22:58SPEAKER_02: I feel that's the,
- 23:00SPEAKER_02: that's not going to help you.
- 23:01SPEAKER_02: I don't want to say it's the wrong way.
- 23:03SPEAKER_02: It's probably not the best way.
- 23:05SPEAKER_02: Band-aid?
- 23:06SPEAKER_02: The band-aid?
- 23:06SPEAKER_02: Well,
- 23:08basically you're chasing tools rather than understanding what
- 23:11the problem is,
- 23:12SPEAKER_02: right,
- 23:12SPEAKER_02: that you're solving.
- 23:13SPEAKER_02: So first of all,
- 23:15You've got to have a foundation and your foundation is your
- 23:17mindset because you
- 23:19SPEAKER_02: first of all got to be able to adopt,
- 23:21SPEAKER_02: adapt,
- 23:22SPEAKER_02: adopt AI and embrace it.
- 23:24But then you've got to have clarity as to what are you,
- 23:28where are you going in your business?
- 23:31SPEAKER_02: And, and also, so where are you going in your business?
- 23:35SPEAKER_02: And then it's just reconnecting.
- 23:39SPEAKER_01: You're good.
- 23:40SPEAKER_01: You're still here.
- 23:41SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 23:41So where are you in your business and what are the steps that
- 23:45we need to take to
- 23:46SPEAKER_02: get there,
- 23:47SPEAKER_02: right?
- 23:47SPEAKER_02: So we've got to have the clarity first and the mindset.
- 23:50SPEAKER_02: Once you have that foundation,
- 23:52then you can look at the capability of tools and execution
- 23:55because if otherwise
- 23:56SPEAKER_02: you're building a skyscraper on sandy ground.
- 24:01SPEAKER_02: Now,
- 24:01SPEAKER_02: if you live in Dubai,
- 24:03that might be okay because they're really good at building
- 24:05skyscrapers in the
- 24:06SPEAKER_02: desert,
- 24:07SPEAKER_02: right?
- 24:07SPEAKER_02: But like
- 24:09SPEAKER_02: You want to be able to get clarity first And for me,
- 24:12early this year was How do I use AI Workflows Agency and
- 24:17Champion Mindset as
- 24:19SPEAKER_02: integrated?
- 24:19SPEAKER_02: Champion Mindset Collective provides the education,
- 24:22SPEAKER_02: the credibility,
- 24:23SPEAKER_02: the authority It provides the mindset and the clarity,
- 24:27SPEAKER_02: right?
- 24:28SPEAKER_02: Then AI Workflows Agency helps with the business side of it
- 24:34and then the tools and then also once the client is onboarded
- 24:38they go back into the
- 24:39Champion Mindset Academy and then they go through a course and
- 24:43they go through and
- 24:45it's a course where they're not just doing a self-paced course
- 24:47they're actually
- 24:49SPEAKER_02: getting mentored every week there's a group call a masterclass and then
- 24:55accountability calls and you're actually stepping them through
- 24:58like you would as a
- 24:59SPEAKER_02: business coach so kind of blending the two together
- 25:03I feel it would be like right you have an idea of what you want
- 25:08to do so instead of
- 25:09learning the basics you just go start doing it and then all of
- 25:13a sudden you you run
- 25:14into all these problems and you're like oh my goodness why
- 25:17don't I understand that
- 25:18and you're like but you forgot to get the foundation skills
- 25:21it's like from a
- 25:22SPEAKER_01: spiritual point of view I've met people who I've had as clients where
- 25:28they were working with a different practitioner who decided to
- 25:31open all their
- 25:32psychic gifts but forget to step them through that so that when
- 25:35they opened it was
- 25:35like this full-on onslaught of over sensory over too much it
- 25:40was all too much like
- 25:42it was and then they just closed the box because it was like oh
- 25:45my goodness this is
- 25:45too overwhelming whereas if we went like when I then worked
- 25:49through it was like
- 25:49okay well let's put some protective structures in place like
- 25:52let's let's actually
- 25:53SPEAKER_01: build up what we need to get to
- 25:55SPEAKER_01: in order for this to work.
- 25:57SPEAKER_01: Because if you don't put,
- 25:58SPEAKER_01: like you said,
- 25:59SPEAKER_01: those foundation steps in there,
- 26:01SPEAKER_01: then it stops it from you being able to utilize everything.
- 26:06So,
- 26:06you know,
- 26:07if you don't have the,
- 26:08in my words,
- 26:09it's like spiritual hygiene.
- 26:10If you don't have the spiritual hygiene,
- 26:12then you're just going to be clogged up,
- 26:14right?
- 26:14SPEAKER_00: Like it's like it's too much.
- 26:16The tools aren't going to work because you haven't bothered to
- 26:19fix the things at the start.
- 26:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 26:21SPEAKER_02: And for this client that I was taking through in the business coaching,
- 26:24you know she had some reservations why why because she wouldn't
- 26:28use AI and I said
- 26:30well what is it and she said well it's the risk and the
- 26:32security because she's got
- 26:33clients as a digital marketer and she doesn't want her clients
- 26:38information going
- 26:39into LLMs so I said well let me ask you a question or let me
- 26:43make a statement and I
- 26:44said I had a guest on my podcast and if you look up Manoj
- 26:47Agarwal his name is
- 26:51SPEAKER_02: I think he calls his business AI Merch,
- 26:54SPEAKER_02: and he said to me,
- 26:56SPEAKER_02: you don't put crude oil into your car.
- 26:59SPEAKER_02: And I went, sorry?
- 27:01SPEAKER_02: He goes, you don't put crude oil into your car.
- 27:03SPEAKER_02: I said, no, put refined oil in your car.
- 27:07He said,
- 27:07well,
- 27:07why would you then go into the LLMs and put your data in there,
- 27:14right?
- 27:16So it's almost better to build something else that can query
- 27:21the large language
- 27:21SPEAKER_02: models,
- 27:23SPEAKER_02: but you've got to make sure that your data is secure.
- 27:24So for her,
- 27:26she didn't want her client's information ending up in the LLM,
- 27:29right?
- 27:29SPEAKER_02: So a large language model is if you don't know what an LLM is.
- 27:32SPEAKER_02: So I said, well, let's look at how we can solve that problem.
- 27:37SPEAKER_02: So it's a problem to solve.
- 27:40It's not like something that,
- 27:42you know,
- 27:42she's not going to be able to embrace AI.
- 27:44SPEAKER_02: It's just that
- 27:45She's just got something in front of her that's kind of like
- 27:48stopping her from moving forward.
- 27:50SPEAKER_02: And there's a fear there, right?
- 27:53SPEAKER_02: So the fear comes from what?
- 27:55SPEAKER_02: Why do you feel fearful?
- 27:57SPEAKER_02: It's uncertainty, right?
- 27:59SPEAKER_02: There's no clarity.
- 28:01So once you have the clarity and the mindset,
- 28:04then everything else is easy.
- 28:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah,
- 28:06and I find that interesting too because sometimes I'll use AI
- 28:09to create things for
- 28:10SPEAKER_01: my clients and what I'll do is I'll put in
- 28:13SPEAKER_01: snippets of conversations I've had.
- 28:15SPEAKER_01: I haven't put their details.
- 28:16SPEAKER_01: I haven't put who they are.
- 28:18I've just put moments that were captured in time that were the
- 28:21same themes that
- 28:21SPEAKER_01: kept coming up again and again.
- 28:23Or if they've shared testimonials or reviews,
- 28:26I'll put,
- 28:26hey,
- 28:27here are the reviews.
- 28:28Can you,
- 28:29you know,
- 28:29which anyone can find because they've posted them publicly.
- 28:32SPEAKER_01: Can you find the themes in this so I can generate something out of it?
- 28:36SPEAKER_01: And it's still keeping that anonymous.
- 28:38And I understand your client's fears because my background in
- 28:41allied health
- 28:42I was so resistant to go into a cloud-based management system
- 28:46because I said what
- 28:47stops someone logging in and getting all the data but then all
- 28:50of a sudden I'm like
- 28:51hang on the doctors are doing it all the other allied health
- 28:55are doing it you know
- 28:56SPEAKER_01: clearly
- 28:57apparently this is acceptable now and I guess it's on the
- 29:02encryption that's
- 29:03happening on the other end whether or not and in saying that
- 29:07when we did go to the
- 29:08cloud-based system it made it so much easier to do a lot of
- 29:11things from home and
- 29:12access information that you would previously have to remotely
- 29:16log in to get like
- 29:17all these other things so I get where that resistance comes
- 29:21from and I know a lot
- 29:22SPEAKER_01: of the people I work with the resistance is also
- 29:26losing themselves to the technology and what is that
- 29:31information being used for?
- 29:33SPEAKER_01: So I guess that's what it is.
- 29:35A good example is that a lot of people have accidents and die
- 29:40on the road.
- 29:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, doesn't mean you don't drive.
- 29:43SPEAKER_02: But does that stop you from driving your car?
- 29:44SPEAKER_02: No, no.
- 29:46SPEAKER_02: But you just build up a resilience to,
- 29:48SPEAKER_02: hey,
- 29:49there's always going to be some idiots on the road and you
- 29:52might be one of them,
- 29:53SPEAKER_02: right?
- 29:53SPEAKER_02: But
- 29:54SPEAKER_02: But you take that risk anyway, right?
- 29:59SPEAKER_02: And just stepping outside your door, there's a risk coming.
- 30:02SPEAKER_02: But you don't know what's going to happen, but you take that.
- 30:05It's like you've got to have that certainty without the logic
- 30:08that everything's
- 30:09SPEAKER_02: going to be okay.
- 30:10SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 30:11SPEAKER_01: Well, I feel like it steps into that whole law of attraction, right?
- 30:14SPEAKER_01: Like, like attracts like.
- 30:15SPEAKER_01: So even,
- 30:16SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 30:16SPEAKER_01: when,
- 30:17SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 30:17SPEAKER_01: if you always fear that you're going to be,
- 30:19SPEAKER_01: have a lawsuit,
- 30:20then you're just going to pull the lawsuit because your brain's
- 30:23looking for a
- 30:24SPEAKER_01: lawsuit.
- 30:25SPEAKER_01: Whereas, you know, if you're like, no, I'm fine.
- 30:27SPEAKER_01: It's going to be okay.
- 30:29SPEAKER_01: You know, I've got things in place anyway.
- 30:31SPEAKER_01: I'm not saying if you have to have insurances and things,
- 30:33SPEAKER_01: please,
- 30:34SPEAKER_01: this is not me saying not to get those.
- 30:36SPEAKER_01: But at the same time,
- 30:38SPEAKER_01: you're just taking a step and know that you're okay,
- 30:40SPEAKER_01: no matter what,
- 30:41SPEAKER_01: and then you don't have to focus on it.
- 30:43SPEAKER_02: Yeah,
- 30:45SPEAKER_02: the energy that you've got,
- 30:47SPEAKER_02: the vibration that you're creating,
- 30:49SPEAKER_02: is putting that to the universe,
- 30:51SPEAKER_02: and the universe is then going,
- 30:52SPEAKER_02: you want more of this?
- 30:53SPEAKER_02: Sure, here you go.
- 30:55So when you say,
- 30:56I don't want a low lawsuit,
- 30:57then you go,
- 30:58oh,
- 30:58you want more of that?
- 31:00SPEAKER_02: No, here you go.
- 31:01And the thing is,
- 31:03we've got this thing called the reticular articulating system
- 31:07in our brain.
- 31:07SPEAKER_02: It's called the RIS.
- 31:09SPEAKER_02: And it's a filter that filters everything else out.
- 31:12SPEAKER_02: So whatever you feed it,
- 31:13SPEAKER_02: it's going to look for that and it's going to try and solve that problem.
- 31:16So if you've ever wanted to buy a car and you like a particular
- 31:21color,
- 31:23then guess what?
- 31:25Every time you drive down the road,
- 31:26you're going to see the same color and that car.
- 31:28SPEAKER_02: Like if someone's saying,
- 31:30SPEAKER_02: look for everything that's green in the room,
- 31:33SPEAKER_02: are you going to look for anything else other than green?
- 31:35SPEAKER_01: No.
- 31:35SPEAKER_02: No.
- 31:36SPEAKER_02: So your brain's focused on just zoning in on that particular thing.
- 31:41SPEAKER_02: So the question you've got to ask yourself, your mind is a gardener.
- 31:46SPEAKER_02: And you're sowing seeds in the garden by the way you think,
- 31:49SPEAKER_02: you feel and you act because your reality is created by your thoughts,
- 31:55SPEAKER_02: your emotions and your actions.
- 31:57SPEAKER_02: So if you're feeding your garden with negative thoughts and emotions,
- 32:04SPEAKER_02: then you're growing negative plants effectively.
- 32:09SPEAKER_02: You're growing weeds effectively, right?
- 32:11SPEAKER_02: Instead of flowers.
- 32:13SPEAKER_01: Well, I guess sometimes they don't even grow.
- 32:16SPEAKER_01: You know, this is the thing.
- 32:17SPEAKER_01: Because you haven't put the energy in it.
- 32:20My other favorite is you don't plant seeds and then dig them up
- 32:23halfway through,
- 32:24SPEAKER_01: right,
- 32:24SPEAKER_01: to see if they're growing.
- 32:26SPEAKER_02: No, no, because you trust.
- 32:29SPEAKER_02: You've got trust.
- 32:30Because you grow a seed and you know that you've got the
- 32:35certainty that it's
- 32:37SPEAKER_02: actually growing beneath the dirt.
- 32:42The other thing is like I was talking to a friend on the
- 32:44weekend and I said,
- 32:45SPEAKER_02: we were at lunch and I said,
- 32:46SPEAKER_02: okay,
- 32:48SPEAKER_02: you've ordered a meal.
- 32:51SPEAKER_02: Do you doubt that that meal is going to come?
- 32:53SPEAKER_02: She goes, no.
- 32:54SPEAKER_02: I said, then you've got to believe that things are going to happen.
- 32:58So when you go to a restaurant,
- 33:00you order a meal,
- 33:01you know that it's coming.
- 33:02SPEAKER_02: You've got an expectation that it's coming.
- 33:04So the more you live your life like I expect great things to
- 33:07happen for me,
- 33:09I expect
- 33:10SPEAKER_02: These things to happen to,
- 33:11SPEAKER_02: you know,
- 33:12SPEAKER_02: expect shitloads of money to come to me,
- 33:14SPEAKER_02: excuse my French,
- 33:16then what you're doing is you're actually putting those
- 33:19intentions out and those
- 33:21SPEAKER_02: are the things that you're going to draw towards you.
- 33:24SPEAKER_01: 100%.
- 33:24And this is such an important thing that people need to
- 33:27remember when trying to
- 33:28SPEAKER_01: manifest a law of attraction or
- 33:30You know if your business isn't working how you want it to work
- 33:33it's actually an
- 33:34invitation to start to look for you exactly how you guided that
- 33:38client through a
- 33:39deeper process of understanding where the bottlenecks were and
- 33:42what wasn't working
- 33:43and getting that clarity because otherwise it doesn't matter
- 33:45what tools you have if
- 33:46you don't understand when the problem is then it's really hard
- 33:49to apply anything to
- 33:52SPEAKER_01: allow it to shift.
- 33:54SPEAKER_01: and allow it to work.
- 33:55SPEAKER_01: And as we start to finish our time together,
- 33:58SPEAKER_01: Anthony,
- 33:59SPEAKER_01: I asked the guests that come on the show,
- 34:00SPEAKER_01: if you could heal or change something in the world,
- 34:03SPEAKER_01: what would it be?
- 34:04SPEAKER_02: Well,
- 34:04SPEAKER_02: look,
- 34:04I've had this dream for about three years that at some point in
- 34:08the not so distant
- 34:09SPEAKER_02: future,
- 34:11I would like to establish an organization that helps people who
- 34:16have gone through
- 34:16SPEAKER_02: abandonment and rejection,
- 34:18SPEAKER_02: like I did at the age of seven,
- 34:20SPEAKER_02: to come and heal and become whole.
- 34:23SPEAKER_02: in themselves and then live their life to the fullest.
- 34:27SPEAKER_02: So if I could do that,
- 34:29that would be absolutely amazing because then we wouldn't have
- 34:33such a broken world.
- 34:35SPEAKER_02: Not that people who have been abandoned are broken.
- 34:38SPEAKER_02: There's nothing wrong with you,
- 34:38SPEAKER_02: you're not broken,
- 34:40SPEAKER_02: but it's like the systems are broken in terms of being able to give help.
- 34:44SPEAKER_02: And I have a love-hate relationship with the government anyway, so
- 34:52As do most who come on my show So what I want to do like this
- 34:58podcast Champion
- 34:59Mindset Collective that I created is based on the principles of
- 35:03Mahatma Gandhi who
- 35:05said be the change in the world that you want to see and so
- 35:08that's what I'm doing
- 35:08is being the change that I want to see and lastly I just want
- 35:12to say that I can
- 35:13change my world you can change your world but together
- 35:16collectively we can change
- 35:18SPEAKER_02: the whole world One last thing I just want to say is that
- 35:21you know champion your life I actually want to say you are
- 35:24loved you are worthy
- 35:27champion your life champion your greatness and have an amazing
- 35:30day yeah beautiful

- 36:45because the only time
- 36:47your life is going to change if you make the choice and then
- 36:49step into action to
- 36:51SPEAKER_01: make it happen if you keep passively hoping that
- 36:54and praying for the world to change and do nothing about it
- 36:58than as just like
- 36:59SPEAKER_01: Muhammad Gamdi said,
- 37:00SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 37:01be the change you want to see in the world because that's the
- 37:03only way it's going
- 37:04SPEAKER_01: to change.
