Spears Junior Commits to Texas | SEC Basketball News
Marcus Spears Junior, a top basketball prospect, has shockingly reclassified from 2027 to 2026 and committed to Texas, igniting buzz with head coach Sean Miller. Miller, who once coached Aaron Gordon and Lauri Markkanen, sees Spears as a mature, businesslike talent with NBA-level potential — someone who understands the grind and craves growth. This move could supercharge Texas’ momentum after their surprising Sweet Sixteen run last season, positioning them for even bigger things in the coming years.
