Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_02]: The liberal globalist order is on its brink and awakening a new conservative age.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_02]: Dr. Steve Turley, join me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-bondalization of conservative civilization.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_02]: This is Turley Talks.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, gang, it's me, Dr. Steve and we need to explore something that, how do I say it just doesn't sit right with me?
- 0:30[SPEAKER_02]: What's coming out still about Minnesota, the corruption of Minnesota, Tim walls of Ilha Nomar.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it should just make you sick and ironically, despite being caught.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_02]: Ilhan Omar went on to win her primary in an absolute landslide.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_02]: It turns out she won with 80% of the vote.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_02]: But ironically, that landslide may have exposed something much bigger.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_02]: Her district already knew about the massive fraud allegations in Minnesota before voting.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, Nick Shirley, of course, exposed Minnesota.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_02]: They paid for it, dearly, in fairness.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_02]: The HHS froze childcare payments across Minnesota.
- 1:12[SPEAKER_02]: a daycare owner featured in Shirley's reporting was charged in an alleged $4.6 million scheme.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_02]: The DOJ charged 15 people in cases totaling more than $90 million.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_02]: When all is said and done, prosecutors now estimate.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_02]: that the broader fraud could exceed nine billion dollars.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_02]: Now, Ilhan Omar denied knowing anything, despite being completely caught by the Shirley Investigation.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_02]: And then, as it to add insults injury, Minneapolis voters returned to office with 80% of the vote.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_02]: You wonder why Minneapolis has so many slums, right?
- 1:54[SPEAKER_02]: And for me,
- 1:56[SPEAKER_02]: That's the real story.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, despite the scandal surrounding Minnesota, it's her political support.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_02]: It's barely moved.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_02]: So if we have these Democrats in the office is anything really ever going to change.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_02]: Are they going to continue stealing taxpayer money to enrich themselves all the while their pathetic Democrat voters just continue to keep them in power?
- 2:20[SPEAKER_02]: But my guess today is an expert in U.S. political corruption and the only person I know helping patriots understand how they themselves can overcome the elitist establishment holding them down.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_02]: So make sure you stick around because he's going to show you the one part of this system.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_02]: that ordinary Americans can actually see from themselves and even benefit from.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_02]: So it's mind blowing stuff here, but President Trump wasted no time in shaming Minnesota for their love affair with Ilhan Omar.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_02]: Here's the president and what he had to say about it.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_00]: Between California's policies of enabling wildfires, paying drug addicts to be homeless, giving free sex changes to illegals, and telling rich people they're going to take away.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_00]: All of your money is going to be taken away.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_00]: People are fleeing, and they're fleeing, and droves.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_00]: We can't have that in this country.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_00]: It's becoming such a horrible and dangerous,
- 3:20[SPEAKER_00]: location.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_02]: So this is what President Trump is talking about.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_02]: She somehow went from the negative $45,000 net worth to now over 30 million.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_02]: How's that even possible?
- 3:35[SPEAKER_02]: So here's the question I want to explore today.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_02]: Why does accountability in Washington, D.C. seems so difficult?
- 3:43[SPEAKER_02]: Because this isn't only about Minnesota, there's another system operating right in front of us that we've talked about repeatedly on this program, members of Congress buying and selling stocks while simultaneously sitting on committees that regulate those very industries are investing in.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_02]: So they're receiving government briefings.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_02]: They're voting on spending, they're discussing legislation.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_02]: And sometimes we see them producing investment returns that would make professional hedge fund managers pretty jealous.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_02]: Now, here's where today's conversation gets interesting because unlike a conversation in a closed or committee meeting, a stock trade leaves a paper trail, a stock trade leaves a paper trail.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_02]: They have to report it.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_02]: And my next guest has spent almost a decade studying those reports.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_02]: My good friend Ross given this is a 20 year veteran of the stock market.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_02]: He's worked as a broker of fund manager and served as Vice President Investment Management at JP Morgan Chase and Ross has become one of the leaning experts.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_02]: I know on congressional and corporate insider trading.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_02]: But here's what makes Ross different.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_02]: Most people see these congressional trades and they just get angry.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_02]: Ross sees them and he says, why aren't we following them because these these these disclosures are public information, every ticker, every transaction, every filing and Ross has spent years teaching ordinary investors how to find the trades that actually matter.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_02]: In fact, you agreed to hold another one of his completely free and awesome live trainings exclusively for you, my audience, it's happening this Thursday, August 27th.

- 6:04[SPEAKER_02]: Ross, welcome my friend.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_02]: Good to see you as always.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_02]: Dr. Steve, you, you beautiful patriot, you just do your turn.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_02]: Right back at you, my friend, right back at you.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, again, I love chatting with you because I go through this transformation.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_02]: I always start off angry and he didn't upset.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_02]: Then it all transfers and I go, oh, so this is how we can turn these lemons in the lemonade as it were.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_02]: uh we you and I've talked a lot about the Minnesota investigations for months now and regardless of someone's politics I mean we're talking about enormous amounts of tax payer money and very serious allegations and what strikes me
- 6:46[SPEAKER_02]: is how difficult accountability seems to be when government itself is involved.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_02]: You spent decades around Wall Street and Oma's a decades specifically studying government and corporate disclosures.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_02]: Does any of this even surprise you anymore?
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: Not, not even a little bit, no, no, no.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, look, when's the last time we've heard a president, any member of Congress say, I made a mistake.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_01]: Right, I'm strong, right.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry, right, but there is an important distinction here.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_01]: And that is, it fraud is a crime.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_01]: So, and I try to separate these two things because when someone steals taxpayer money,
- 7:26[SPEAKER_01]: not not get used information to benefit as a but steals tax payer money that is something prosecutors have to prove in court and people get investigated in charge and tried their guilty their punish congressional stock trading is none of those things and I think this is what frustrates people because a member of Congress can and has for decades sit on these committees
- 7:49[SPEAKER_01]: Receive the briefings meet with all the executives in the industry.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_01]: They vote on legislation that has huge effects on these sectors and they can still legally buy sell trades these stocks in circumstances.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_01]: And so, while they're not all insider trading, a lot of them are right.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_01]: And the system itself, just by nature creates potential conflicts.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_01]: None of us face and even Trump said it about his kids.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_01]: They asked where your kids said he said it will be impossible for my kids to do anything right without having inside information.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_01]: And it's just true because of their sphere of influence.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_01]: Fear of who they're around.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_02]: No, that's it.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_02]: That's a great point.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_02]: I like how he's honest about it in that sense.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_02]: And then there's, you know, we've talked about this before as well.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_02]: There's actually, there's a law, as I understand, that's supposed to address it's the stock act.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_02]: And just for those who don't know about this law, what does that law actually do?
- 8:47[SPEAKER_01]: Or what is it supposed to do?
- 8:49[SPEAKER_01]: Well, what people think it does is prevent congressman cider trading what actually does is show us the stocks are buying it's kind of a funny thing because people here stock act and of course they passed this thing a decade and a half ago touting it as this thing to make it all fair to move but it's not what it did it basically clarified that members of congress are subject.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_01]: to insider trading laws, but it created these disclosure requirements.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_01]: So they can still buy stocks.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_01]: They can still sell.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_01]: They can do options.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_01]: And they just have to report the transactions.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_01]: And this is where all the value is for us.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_01]: These disclosures are hugely beneficial because it lets us see exactly what they're doing.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: What exactly stocks are buying?
- 9:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's what, and this is the transfigurative moment here.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_02]: This is the Transformation, that's what I love chatting with you.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_02]: So basically, Washington created a disclosure system and then you turned it into what's an effect, a stock screener, in effect, right?
- 9:50[SPEAKER_02]: That's actually, yes, exactly.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_01]: What I guess is a good way of looking at it.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and look, I do have frustrating with this stuff, too, right?
- 9:56[SPEAKER_01]: But at some point, you kind of come to the realization, at look, I can complain about it.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_01]: I can wine.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_01]: I can call my congressman, but listen, congress writes the laws.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_01]: They're going to change something that makes them money.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_01]: So instead of complaining about it, I'm just using it.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm reading the filings.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_01]: I'm seeing what stocks they buy.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: We're looking for these opportunities.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_01]: These investment opportunities follow along.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_02]: Well, turning the lemons and the lemonade again.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_01]: And what people need to understand is you don't have to know that I can need to know what's in somebody's head.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_01]: I can't tell you why a politician bought something.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_01]: Usually find out three months, six months, nine months later, but we can see what they're buying.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_01]: And so there is this filing with a hard date.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_01]: It'll give you the ticker symbol, the transaction size.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_01]: And so then you just kind of
- 10:47[SPEAKER_01]: some common sense to it.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_01]: Am I all right?
- 10:49[SPEAKER_01]: This person is buying up these three defense stocks.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_01]: They may be sit on a defense committee or they may be in charge of the DOD budget.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_01]: Right?
- 10:58[SPEAKER_01]: Is this unusual purchase?
- 10:59[SPEAKER_01]: There's some of those guys.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's right hundreds of times a year.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_01]: There's some that buy two stocks a decade.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_01]: Those two stocks are pretty important.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 11:07[SPEAKER_01]: Why are you suddenly buying something, right?
- 11:09[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_01]: So you kind of put the whole picture together.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_01]: There's like if other members of Congress are all buying at the same stock with the same information.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_01]: And that's where this stuff becomes really, really useful for investment.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_01]: You just look for the obvious stuff.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, do you know, can you give everybody an example?
- 11:28[SPEAKER_02]: Because you shown me some crazy ones over the years.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_02]: There's that one that I said, it's kind of reminds me of the German band Romstein.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_02]: Or something like that.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, we talked about it before, but some of you have made it forgotten.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_01]: So she sits, she's one of those people doesn't trade very much.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: I think she's bought didn't want anything like two or three, you're not a single stock.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_01]: But she sits on the House Appropriations Committee, the Defense Subcommittee, right?
- 11:52[SPEAKER_01]: So she's there deciding which contractors get which payments, what we buy from them.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_01]: And suddenly she buys one stock.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, listen, if somebody's buying apple, if somebody's buying video, it's like, that's a stock we all own, right?
- 12:09[SPEAKER_01]: But the one stock, this one buys in three years, after sitting on numerous defense subcommittee meetings, is Ryan Matilda.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_01]: Ryan Matilda, that's the, I always forget that.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_00]: I always think, I'm just tired.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's the German company.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_01]: But their, their arms manufacturer, the fence company.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_01]: that even trade on the U.S. exchanges like you've got to buy this thing over the counter Wow.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_01]: You've got to rob it with a counter.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_01]: You can even get it.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_01]: That's an odd stop.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_01]: for it to be the one you buy in two or three year, right?
- 12:38[SPEAKER_01]: And then here's the chart of what that stock did over the following nine to 10 months.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_01]: It was up to three hundred and six percent just truly took off.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_01]: So now, in Susie, don't audit me.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying you had inside information.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you're lucky.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_01]: That's possible, right?
- 12:57[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_01]: But.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_01]: If you're this lucky, I want to, I don't think you were, I think you probably knew something, but that's just my assumption.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_01]: Either way, if I see people that are involved in defensive programs or some other committee buying obscure stocks in that area where their decisions, their legislation affects, that's something I want to see and follow along more often
- 13:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and that's the distinction I think is so important here, and this is again why I love your free training so you're you're not saying, you know, blindly copy every politician.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_01]: No, I mean, if A.O.C.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_01]: was buying something, I wouldn't be interested, right?
- 13:41[SPEAKER_01]: But if Pelosi's loading up $5 million for the call options, you have my attention.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_01]: You know, and so yeah, that's just the listen, when you have, we have 435 members of the house, about 50.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, you got these people, some of them are going to be terrible investors.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_01]: Some of them were bartenders or English majors or whatever, but some of these people were former CFOs, they're well connected to attorneys, they have donors, they're a bit, and, and, and, so, again, you, that's what I hear that he'll just train events for, right?
- 14:10[SPEAKER_01]: Because it is a lot of information.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_01]: If you try to follow everything you'd be overwhelmed, but usually we see two, three, four of these a month that are just
- 14:20[SPEAKER_01]: real anomalies, real no brainer.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_01]: Something makes you stop and say, why did you buy that stock?
- 14:25[SPEAKER_01]: Why are you all buying that stock?
- 14:27[SPEAKER_01]: Right?
- 14:27[SPEAKER_01]: So that's the question we're trying to answer.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_01]: Why do these people suddenly put a significant chunk of money into this particular company and we do a little digging and often find, you know, great opportunity.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_02]: And that's similar to like corporate insiders, right?
- 14:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and corporate three even better.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, we can follow Congress, but you can also follow every CEO in this country.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, every board member in this country, right?
- 14:52[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, politicians are kind of and mix bags.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_01]: Some are really good.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_01]: Some are kind of average.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_01]: Think about who's running.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_01]: Fortune 500 comforts, right?
- 15:00[SPEAKER_01]: These aren't tax bartenders and English majors.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_01]: These are, these are, you know, PhDs.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_01]: These are MBAs, season veterans.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_01]: uh... a public arena for decades and so their trades come out even sooner right there's a bit of a lag when the politicians but CEOs that you see that like the next day they after today's max so you know when you've got achieve medical officer of a little biotech company working on drug trials then he puts his whole annual salary into the stock on a Tuesday
- 15:31[SPEAKER_01]: maybe something good is coming right when you've got a board that hasn't bought the stock in five years and now six of them have all put six and seven figures of peace out of nowhere they might be working on something maybe they're about to get bought out maybe there's a huge quarter right so that's the kind of things we're interested in and you know wait wait
- 15:53[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I go over this in the training, but basically, people that really buy it are now.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_01]: Some of them are really good at this.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_01]: They always buy at the lows.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_01]: They always buy before stocks make a big move.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_01]: We want to follow those.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_01]: When we see a lot of them buying together, that's all significant.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_01]: So again, none of this guarantees the stock goes up.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to try to sell some story that you're going to win 100% of the time.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, that's crazy.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing does.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_01]: But in investing, you're just trying to give yourself some kind of an edge.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_01]: And if your Goldman Sachs or your Warren Buffett,
- 16:23[SPEAKER_01]: You have better information about the industry that are context.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_01]: What edge do you and I have in the public equity market that's going to make us out perform Goldman Sachs right not a lot right so the people who do we can see what stocks they buy right and see when they buy them and that I think is our edge just putting those clues together and that's what I try to show people how to do.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you know, real, what, why doesn't like everybody do that?
- 16:48[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it just seems so logical.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, it's a perfect hack, you know, it's in the sense.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_02]: It's just like, I see hacks is something that enables me to kind of cut in front of the line.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_02]: Everyone's trying to, they're, they're bogged down, trying to figure something else.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_02]: And you, you just said, oh, I'll just copy you so and so.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_02]: And that'll, that'll put me at least in proximity to where they are in their way ahead of everybody.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_02]: Why does, I mean, because we've done several of these interviews now and every time we, we do when I hear from viewers saying, you know, I had no idea this even these like public data bases even existed.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_01]: It looked, people know it goes on.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks to channels like yours and new states, you know, like people like yourself, we're putting this information out there, but they don't know how to find it.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_01]: And the information is public.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_01]: That is 100% true, but it's not convened.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_01]: And like everything else, the government runs.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_01]: It's not efficient.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_01]: It's not easy to use.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's not designed to be used as you call it a stock screener, right?
- 17:46[SPEAKER_01]: So it's out there, but they don't make it easy.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_01]: And I show people all this.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_01]: So all the government disclosures are scattered in two databases, both free or so website for the house and there's one for the Senate, but you got to go name my name and find them and pull the PDFs and all that.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_01]: then there's another database on the SEC site with all the corporate filings.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_01]: But again, lots of companies, a lot of filings, codes, transaction codes, it's just kind of a mess if you don't know what you're looking for.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_01]: So what we try to show people how to do is tune out the noise and just find the stuff that that's real gold, right?
- 18:20[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, uh, because you could ignore 95% right off.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_01]: And I think most people know it happens.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_01]: They know they could follow this, but for a lot of people, just getting involved in investing can be complicated enough.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_01]: This is like, oh my god, I've been doing this for 20 plus years, right?
- 18:37[SPEAKER_01]: So it's a little easier.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_01]: And I pride myself and trying to make something pretty simple.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what we do.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_01]: That's why we do the trainings.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_01]: And I'll show you how to filter it out, take four or five thousand records and get down to list of 10 stocks and go which one of these looks the best and that's where your edge comes from.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_02]: That's so cool.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_02]: So again, can you give us a little bit of a teaser on what you're going to show everybody in the free training?
- 19:01[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_01]: So again, it is this Thursday, the 27th, 3 o'clock Eastern.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_01]: It is completely free.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_01]: It is online.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_01]: Anybody can come.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_01]: As you mentioned, we're sitting out on our most recent trade with all the research for free for everyone to register.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_01]: So it was you can't come register for that.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_01]: We'll even send you the recording afterwards.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm going to show both things.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_01]: One, how the congressional stuff works, how the corporate filings work.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_01]: I'll show you exactly what I look for.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_01]: Hard rules.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_01]: what you can ignore, the signs is unusual buying, the big signals, the cluster buying, the first time buyers, the track record, all that stuff.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_01]: And again, had a narrow thousands of these trades, a daunting amount of information down just a handful of opportunities worth following.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_01]: Because if you own 100 stocks, 200 stocks, you can't do that, right?
- 19:49[SPEAKER_01]: You're not going to
- 19:52[SPEAKER_01]: Really do well concentrate into those five or 10 or 15 really strong opportunities.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_01]: And so my goal is about 45 to 50 minutes take people from I don't know what a stock is to I can do this.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_01]: This makes sense.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_01]: What do you think about this one so that's what we're going to do and I hope a lot of people come we had had great feedback.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: I always appreciate your support and I look forward to another successful training event this Thursday.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_02]: and you're giving away to for everyone who signs up registers for the free training, you're going to give, you're going to give actually a trade just for registers.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they get our full report.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: So the most recent one, we find three, four, five, and he's a month, but these are for our paid member.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_01]: We're given you the most recent one for free.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_01]: So just put your number in.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_01]: We'll send that to you at easy link.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_01]: We can even send you a reminder of 40 event starts, but it'll have all the research which insiders are buying, the stock, the ticker, how to get in without taking a lot of risk.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_01]: And I send that out both to try to help people, but also say, see what's available.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_01]: And I think when you see, oh, my goodness, I had no idea all this was public, they're like, OK, I got to hear what this guy says.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_02]: So, yep, that's it.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_02]: But it's all free.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_02]: I love it.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_02]: I love it.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_02]: Gang.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I do it right now.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_02]: Click on that link below again.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_02]: It's this Thursday, August 27th.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_02]: 3 p.m. Eastern.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_02]: It's online.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_02]: It's completely free.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_02]: Go to Turley Talks Insider Trading.com or just click the link in the description.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_02]: Again, even if you're busy Thursday afternoon register anyway, so Ross can send you that free insider stock report.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_02]: Ross, let me ask you one final question here.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_02]: So after almost nine years of doing this in particular, what's
- 21:38[SPEAKER_02]: What do you think is the biggest mistake somebody makes when they first discover insider trading data?
- 21:45[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I think they believe that every trade significant.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_01]: And I see this on every training events.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_01]: They'll say, Ross, look up this stock.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_01]: I just saw the deceo bought 20,000 shares.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, yes, that's true.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_01]: He did.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_01]: But then I go, what he bought 20,000 last month and the month before and the month before and the month before.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_01]: So he's dollar cost average.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: Really?
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_01]: right or yeah okay yeah he put $100,000 into the stock he owns $48 million worth the stock right so if he will really that that excited about it he might up his position by more than a fraction of percent right so it's it's it's that there's no one magic bullet use it to take it all in contact right we want something you want to see something unusual
- 22:24[SPEAKER_01]: You want to see big size relative to that person, the timing is important, their history, if you go back and they're just not good at this, every time they buy to stock fell, well then don't follow them this time, right?
- 22:36[SPEAKER_01]: And that's really the skill.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_01]: It's just common sense putting these clues together and getting the whole picture, finding stocks that
- 22:46[SPEAKER_01]: They rarely buy or they're buying much bigger size than normal or at a company they don't normally buy or right before some big piece of news like an earnings reporter a drug trial and and so that's that's what what what I think the big aha moment for people is figuring out which signals are worth paying attention to.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_02]: I like that.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_02]: A signal not noise, right?
- 23:05[SPEAKER_02]: That's that's what I love having you on.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we could spend all day arguing and belly aching about whether Washington is ever going to change.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe it will maybe it won't.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_02]: But in the meantime, there's something very practical people can do today.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_02]: They can educate themselves.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_02]: They can learn how these disclosures work.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_02]: and they can see the information for themselves.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_02]: So, again, Ross's free live training is happening.
