Body Found in Boonville Pond | Evansville News
A body was recovered from a retention pond behind the Boonville Walmart — identified as 67-year-old Joseph Lucia Jr., last seen near the pond after going missing July 7. A drone spotted a submerged car, later confirmed by divers; the vehicle was pulled from the water by a towing company. Authorities are investigating how the car ended up there, with no suspicion of foul play. Multiple local and county agencies collaborated on the search and recovery effort as the investigation continues.
