- 0:18Speaker 1: Oh, thank you, Tammy. Thanks, Tam Tam, Tamarooni, Tim Tam.
- 0:22Speaker 2: That's what everybody calls me, Tam Tam.
- 0:25Speaker 1: What's your meet cute story?
- 0:26Speaker 2: So it was my birthday and I went out.
- 0:29Speaker 3: And got a pedicure. And then I went to lunch
- 0:31Speaker 3: at my favorite restaurant with a friend. And this guy
- 0:35Speaker 3: kept walking by the booth we were sitting in and he.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Just kept looking at me. And I told my girlfriend,
- 0:41Speaker 2: if you walked.
- 0:42Speaker 3: By one more time, I was getting annoyed.
- 0:44Speaker 2: And he did.
- 0:46Speaker 3: But this time he stopped and he says, I just
- 0:48Speaker 3: want to know.
- 0:49Speaker 2: You have the most beautiful feet because they were dangling
- 0:52Speaker 2: outside the booth.
- 0:54Speaker 3: And I said, I know.
- 0:57Speaker 2: And then it was just kind of started talking from there.
- 1:00Speaker 3: He was there with a friend, so he joined us.
- 1:02Speaker 2: And he's like, you.
- 1:04Speaker 4: Know, I'm here.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Did you go to school here?
- 1:07Speaker 5: Blah, blah, blah.
- 1:08Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, you too. And he's like, yeah, what
- 1:10Speaker 2: high school did you go to? And I'm like, Coronado,
- 1:13Speaker 2: me too. What year did you graduate? Do you know so-and-so?
- 1:16Speaker 3: Do you know so-and-so? And we're like, we knew all
- 1:18Speaker 3: the same people, but we had never met in high school.
- 1:20Speaker 5: That's wild.
- 1:21Speaker 3: So then... He had mentioned some other friend that was
- 1:24Speaker 3: a little older.
- 1:24Speaker 2: I said, I don't think I know that person.
- 1:26Speaker 3: But I think my older brother would have. And he's like, well,
- 1:29Speaker 3: who's your older brother? And I told him, and he's like,
- 1:32Speaker 3: I know your brother.
- 1:33Speaker 2: He's one of my brother's very good friends. He's been
- 1:36Speaker 2: at my house all the time.
- 1:37Speaker 3: And I said, well, who's your brother? And he told me,
- 1:42Speaker 3: and I go, I.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Know your brother really well from being at my.
- 1:44Speaker 1: House all the time.
- 1:46Speaker 3: But both our brothers are deceased, so we couldn't run
- 1:49Speaker 3: to them and tell them that we met. But, yeah,
- 1:52Speaker 3: we never knew each other in high school, and that's
- 1:54Speaker 3: how we met. Wow.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I thought you had more feet story.
- 1:58Speaker 4: You got John Jay with the cute feet.
- 2:01Speaker 1: You're like, you know, and then I became a famous
- 2:02Speaker 1: foot model.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Yes, your daddy's a foot guy.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Yeah. All right, Tammy, thanks for listening, and thanks for
- 2:08Speaker 1: calling in.
- 2:10Speaker 5: You bet.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Have a good day. Bring him. Bring him. Good morning.
- 2:13Speaker 1: You're on the air. Hello. What's your meet cute story?
- 2:16Speaker 4: My meet cute story, I met my wife swing dancing.
- 2:20Speaker 4: And she didn't want anything to.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Do with me.
- 2:22Speaker 6: So we were just friends. And then I kept being persistent.
- 2:26Speaker 4: And she hosted.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Me for like a month.
- 2:29Speaker 2: And then we finally started dating.
- 2:32Speaker 1: And then we got married in January 2024.
- 2:35Speaker 4: And now we're having a baby.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Congratulations. Congratulations, Brayden. Thanks for sharing that with us.
- 2:41Speaker 5: Just hang around long enough.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Kristen, what's your meet cute story?
- 2:45Speaker 3: Hi, guys.
- 2:46Speaker 7: Okay, so this is going to sound weird, but I
- 2:50Speaker 7: had got a job as a bartender, and my first
- 2:55Speaker 7: day bartending, my first customer ever was my husband that
- 2:59Speaker 7: we just got married two years ago.
- 3:01Speaker 5: What did he order? He's like, I'd like to order
- 3:04Speaker 5: you as my bride.
- 3:07Speaker 7: He ordered an old-fashioned, and I was at a Mexican.
- 3:09Speaker 8: Restaurant, and I was misconfident. I can make you anything
- 3:12Speaker 8: you want. I just graduated bartending school.
- 3:14Speaker 4: Like, oh, my God.
- 3:15Speaker 8: And this big guy.
- 3:16Speaker 7: With this beard orders a whiskey old-fashioned.
- 3:20Speaker 8: And I bought it.
- 3:21Speaker 4: It was horrible.
- 3:22Speaker 8: It was not good. I tried to make like simple,
- 3:24Speaker 8: simple syrup out of sugar.
- 3:26Speaker 1: It was horrible. So you married your first customer.
- 3:29Speaker 8: I married my first customer at my bar.
- 3:32Speaker 1: What did you do with your second customer?
- 3:34Speaker 8: I couldn't even tell you who it was. I was
- 3:36Speaker 8: so nervous and I fell.
- 3:38Speaker 3: In love and.
- 3:38Speaker 8: 15 years we've known each other.
- 3:41Speaker 7: But we just got married two years ago.
- 3:42Speaker 5: Congratulations. That's cool.
- 3:43Speaker 1: I thought you were going to go, we married my
- 3:45Speaker 1: first customer. My second customer, we went on a bank
- 3:47Speaker 1: robbing spree. My third customer.
- 3:51Speaker 5: Was your signature wedding drink for him? Was his an old-fashioned?
- 3:54Speaker 8: It was, actually, and it was an espresso martini. We
- 3:57Speaker 8: got married in Vegas at the Bellagio. It was so beautiful.
- 4:01Speaker 5: I thought it was great.
- 4:02Speaker 8: Complete, complete, amazing. I'm so glad and grateful I took
- 4:06Speaker 8: that job. And that he is now my husband.
- 4:10Speaker 1: That's great. Thank you for sharing that, Kristen. Thanks for listening. Thanks, guys.
- 4:12Speaker 8: I love you guys so much.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Thank you. Have a great day.
- 4:15Speaker 5: Bye.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Hello. Good morning. John Jane Rich. Can I help you?
- 4:20Speaker 5: Hi. Yes.
- 4:20Speaker 6: I'm calling in about how you met someone in a
- 4:24Speaker 6: cute way.
- 4:25Speaker 7: I don't necessarily know if meeting my husband in the
- 4:28Speaker 7: way that I met him was cute, but I think
- 4:29Speaker 7: it's unique.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Oh, if it's not cute, it might even be better.
- 4:32Speaker 1: What is it?
- 4:33Speaker 6: So he actually crashed my 21st birthday party after I
- 4:39Speaker 6: had kicked everybody out because a fight broke out. And
- 4:42Speaker 6: he came with friends and I kind of just went
- 4:47Speaker 6: up to him and told him I was cold. and
- 4:49Speaker 6: gave him a hug, and he threw his hands up
- 4:51Speaker 6: in the air and was like, who are you? Mind you,
- 4:54Speaker 6: he's at my house.
- 4:55Speaker 5: It's my 21st.
- 4:56Speaker 6: Birthday party, and I am just grilling.
- 4:59Speaker 7: Him, like, how dare you be at my house?
- 5:02Speaker 6: Like, you don't even know who I am. um yeah
- 5:05Speaker 6: and now we've been married 12 years oh.
- 5:08Speaker 7: My god that is cute he's like i love her
- 5:10Speaker 7: feistiness i guarantee you when.
- 5:12Speaker 1: You said when you said you were cold you mean
- 5:15Speaker 1: you were cold like your personality or you were cold
- 5:17Speaker 1: like you were freezing i mean.
- 5:19Speaker 6: Maybe a little bit of both probably it was january
- 5:22Speaker 6: it was raining and i mean who has an outside
- 5:26Speaker 6: birthday party uh in january with like no bonfire or anything.
- 5:31Speaker 7: So, um, it was pretty cold.
- 5:33Speaker 6: I mean, the alcohol would probably keep you warm, but, um, yeah, that.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Is what I just kind of went up to him.
- 5:38Speaker 6: I thought he looked cute.
- 5:39Speaker 5: That works.
- 5:40Speaker 6: Keep me warm.
- 5:41Speaker 1: That is a cute meet cute story. And I'm glad
- 5:43Speaker 1: you called. Thanks for calling in.
- 5:44Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Thanks.
- 5:45Speaker 6: Bye.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Hello. Good morning. Do you have a meet cute story?
- 5:48Speaker 4: I do.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Yeah. What's your name?
- 5:51Speaker 4: Elizabeth.
- 5:52Speaker 1: What's your story, Elizabeth?
- 5:54Speaker 4: Um, my husband and I met at the gym, which
- 5:57Speaker 4: is funny because they keep talking about People not meeting
- 6:00Speaker 4: at the gym. But he kind of stopped me at
- 6:04Speaker 4: the water fountain and waited for me to take my
- 6:07Speaker 4: headphones off and asked me what my nationality was.
- 6:11Speaker 1: That's an interesting pickup line.
- 6:14Speaker 5: What nation are you from?
- 6:16Speaker 1: What is your nationality? What was your answer?
- 6:18Speaker 4: Well, I asked, I told him to guess what my
- 6:20Speaker 4: nationality was. And he guessed wrong. He thought it was
- 6:23Speaker 4: Middle Eastern. And I'm half Hispanic, half Caucasian.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Oh, so am I.
- 6:30Speaker 5: That's like John Jay.
- 6:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Twins. Yeah.
- 6:33Speaker 4: So then what happened? And then we talked.
- 6:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:35Speaker 4: And then we talked for a little bit. And then
- 6:37Speaker 4: I kind of tried to walk away. And he is
- 6:40Speaker 4: extremely handsome, though. You guys said he's got to be
- 6:42Speaker 4: extremely handsome. And he was extremely. He is extremely handsome.
- 6:45Speaker 4: I walked over to the treadmill. And a few minutes later,
- 6:47Speaker 4: there he was right behind me. And I was like, oh,
- 6:49Speaker 4: my gosh, he's not going to leave me alone.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Not right.
- 6:51Speaker 4: Right behind you.
- 6:52Speaker 5: You weren't like, that's kind of creepy.
- 6:54Speaker 4: He walked up to my treadmill. I did think it
- 6:56Speaker 4: was creepy.
- 6:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:58Speaker 4: And he kept talking to me, and he was very interesting.
- 7:01Speaker 4: And I asked him, because he is older than me,
- 7:04Speaker 4: and so we began to talk a little bit. And
- 7:06Speaker 4: the funny thing is, is after our conversation ended, he's like,
- 7:10Speaker 4: you've got to make sure you give me your number
- 7:11Speaker 4: before you leave. And I was like, yeah, haha, okay,
- 7:13Speaker 4: I will. And I left, and I giggled to myself
- 7:16Speaker 4: thinking that I, haha, I didn't give it to him.
- 7:19Speaker 4: And then I kept thinking about him nonstop and wondering
- 7:23Speaker 4: about him. And when I left that day, because he's Hispanic-
- 7:27Speaker 4: I left and I saw in the parking lot a
- 7:30Speaker 4: little red Audi and it said Sanchez on the license plate.
- 7:33Speaker 4: And I was like, oh, that's got to be his car.
- 7:35Speaker 4: That's totally his car. So then for like the next
- 7:38Speaker 4: week or two, I kept looking for the little red
- 7:40Speaker 4: Audi that said Sanchez on it in the parking lot.
- 7:44Speaker 4: And I never saw it. And then one day I
- 7:46Speaker 4: saw him in the gym and I didn't see the
- 7:47Speaker 4: Sanchez car and it wasn't his car at all.
- 7:54Speaker 1: And what happened? I love this story.
- 7:56Speaker 4: And then, and then he's like, you never gave me
- 8:00Speaker 4: your number. And I was like, oh yeah, I know.
- 8:02Speaker 4: And so we talked for a minute and he went
- 8:05Speaker 4: back to working out and I went to go tan.
- 8:08Speaker 4: And I'm like, I really want to hang out with him.
- 8:10Speaker 4: If he's still out there when I get out, I'm
- 8:12Speaker 4: going to, tell him we should hang out. And he
- 8:14Speaker 4: told me later he was thinking the same thing. And
- 8:17Speaker 4: so I came out of the tanning bed and we
- 8:19Speaker 4: kind of met up and he's like, let's go out tonight.
- 8:21Speaker 4: Let's let's let's take you on a date. And I
- 8:23Speaker 4: was like, yeah, let's do it. So we went out
- 8:25Speaker 4: that night and he's such a first class gentleman. He
- 8:30Speaker 4: is so chivalrous and so, so sweet. He just won
- 8:33Speaker 4: me over. We spent that first date talking for three hours.
- 8:36Speaker 4: I didn't even realize how much time had gone by.
- 8:39Speaker 4: And I just Fell in love with him.
- 8:41Speaker 5: Wow.
- 8:41Speaker 1: How long have you guys been together?
- 8:44Speaker 4: So he proposed to me four months later in Paris.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Aw.
- 8:48Speaker 4: And we got married the next September.
- 8:50Speaker 5: Yeah, he is first class.
- 8:50Speaker 4: So we've been married for four years.
- 8:52Speaker 5: He took you to Paris? That's amazing.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Oh, four years. That's good. So you fit right in
- 8:55Speaker 1: the umbrella we were talking about with no technology. That's great.
- 8:57Speaker 1: That is great.
- 8:58Speaker 5: And in one of the forbidden zones, the gym.
- 8:59Speaker 1: How much older is he than you? How much older
- 9:02Speaker 1: is he?
- 9:02Speaker 4: He's 20 years older than me.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Whoa.
- 9:06Speaker 5: Wow. Whoa.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Are you.
- 9:07Speaker 4: You would never know it. You would never know it.
- 9:10Speaker 4: People often think he is at least 10 years younger
- 9:13Speaker 4: than what he is.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Does he have a second? Are you his second wife?
- 9:16Speaker 4: I'm his third wife.
- 9:18Speaker 1: Oh, even more romantic.
- 9:20Speaker 5: He is a lover.
- 9:23Speaker 4: He says this is the second chapter of his life.
- 9:27Speaker 4: He was a police officer for 27 years. He's now
- 9:29Speaker 4: retired and works out about five hours a day, every
- 9:32Speaker 4: day at the gym. He's This beautiful, large Hispanic man,
- 9:37Speaker 4: and he just loves me, and he's just, yeah, he's
- 9:40Speaker 4: a good one.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I hope your nickname for each other is Sanchez.
- 9:46Speaker 4: He won't let me live that down.
- 9:47Speaker 5: He's like, do I look like I drive a red
- 9:49Speaker 5: Audi to you?
- 9:49Speaker 4: No, and he doesn't at all. Once you know him,
- 9:54Speaker 4: he drives a Jeep and a 4Runner. He doesn't drive
- 9:57Speaker 4: a red Audi at all. It's not him at all.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Well, that's a great story, and I'm so glad you
- 10:01Speaker 1: called in. Thanks for listening.
- 10:03Speaker 4: Yeah, thank you guys.
