- 0:00Speaker 1: Ante early morning praise party. I am Sherry Mackie. It's
- 0:03Speaker 1: time right now for today's word. Trusting your vindicator. Trusting
- 0:10Speaker 1: your Vindicator first. Samuel twenty six twenty three says, the
- 0:15Speaker 1: Lord gives his own reward for doing good and for
- 0:18Speaker 1: being loyal. And I refuse to kill you, even when
- 0:22Speaker 1: the Lord placed you in my power, for you are
- 0:26Speaker 1: the Lord's anointed one. You know there will be seasons
- 0:30Speaker 1: in your life when you do everything right and still
- 0:33Speaker 1: find yourself treated wrong. You give your best, you walk
- 0:36Speaker 1: in integrity, you remain faithful, and yet you're misunderstood, You're
- 0:41Speaker 1: overlooked and even mistreated. In those moments, it's tempting to
- 0:46Speaker 1: take matters into your own hands, to prove a point,
- 0:49Speaker 1: to get even, or to make things right your way.
- 0:54Speaker 1: David understood that struggle all too well. He had already
- 0:58Speaker 1: proven himself defeating giant, winning battles, and serving King Saul
- 1:02Speaker 1: with loyalty and honor. Yet instead of being celebrated, he
- 1:07Speaker 1: became a target. Saul's jealousy turned into relentless pursuit, forcing
- 1:12Speaker 1: David to live in caves, constantly running for his life.
- 1:16Speaker 1: It didn't seem fair. It didn't make sense. David had
- 1:19Speaker 1: done nothing to deserve this. Then came a defining moment.
- 1:24Speaker 1: One night, David had the opportunity to end it off. Saul,
- 1:29Speaker 1: the very one who had been chasing him, was right
- 1:32Speaker 1: there within reach. David could have justified taking action. He
- 1:36Speaker 1: could have said, this is my chance, this is my
- 1:39Speaker 1: way out. But instead David chose restraint. He chose honor.
- 1:44Speaker 1: He chose to trust God. He understood something powerful. God
- 1:51Speaker 1: is the ultimate vindicator. David refused to take the throne
- 1:55Speaker 1: by force because he knew if God had promised it,
- 1:59Speaker 1: God would bring it to pass in the right way
- 2:02Speaker 1: at the right time, by taking high road, by forgiving,
- 2:06Speaker 1: by showing mercy when he could have retaliated. David proved
- 2:10Speaker 1: that his strust was not in his own ability, but
- 2:13Speaker 1: in God's faithfulness. That same choice is before you today.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Maybe you're in a situation that feels unfair. Maybe someone
- 2:22Speaker 1: has wronged you, talked about you, tried to block you,
- 2:25Speaker 1: or made your path more difficult than it should be.
- 2:29Speaker 1: You may feel the pressure to defend yourself, to fight back,
- 2:32Speaker 1: to fix it on your own, But God is saying,
- 2:35Speaker 1: let me be your vindicator. When you keep your heart
- 2:39Speaker 1: right when you continue to do good, when you refuse
- 2:42Speaker 1: to compromise your integrity. God sees it all. Nothing is overlooked,
- 2:48Speaker 1: nothing is ignored, and at the right time, He will
- 2:51Speaker 1: step in and make things right in a way that
- 2:54Speaker 1: is far greater than anything you could do on your own.
- 2:58Speaker 1: What you're facing today is not the end of your story.
- 3:01Speaker 1: It's just one chapter. And God has already written greater
- 3:04Speaker 1: chapters ahead, chapters filed with favor, chapters filed with restoration,
- 3:09Speaker 1: chapters filled with promotion and peace. So stay the course,
- 3:13Speaker 1: keep honoring God, keep walking in integrity, keep trusting his timing,
- 3:18Speaker 1: because when God vindicates you, it will be undeniable. Father,
- 3:23Speaker 1: Thank you that you see every injustice, every unfair situation
- 3:28Speaker 1: we face. Thank you that we don't have to fight
- 3:30Speaker 1: our own battles because you are our vindicator. Help us
- 3:34Speaker 1: to stay on the high road and to walk in integrity,
- 3:37Speaker 1: and to trust your timing. Even God with us hide.
- 3:40Speaker 1: We believe that You're working on all things for our
- 3:43Speaker 1: good and that greater chapters are in front of us.
- 3:45Speaker 1: In Jesus' name. Now that's your word for today. Take
- 3:49Speaker 1: it applied to your everyday life, and you continue to
- 3:51Speaker 1: be encouraged and inspired. It is your early body praise party.
- 3:55Speaker 1: I am Sherry Mackie
