  Speaker 1: because I probably should have told you guys about this

  Speaker 1: like a week ago. But in my defense, time sort

  Speaker 1: of got away from me because I was gone for

  Speaker 1: a while, and for some reason, I just had it

  Speaker 1: in my head. I was like, when I get back,

  Speaker 1: I will share with everybody what the change is. But

  Speaker 1: I got back like yesterday, and this podcast change is
• 0:31
  Speaker 1: happening on Monday, or it's going to start happening Monday.

  Speaker 1: And for some reason, I had it in my head

  Speaker 1: that when I got back, i'd have a full week
• 0:40
  Speaker 1: to talk to you guys about this change. But I

  Speaker 1: was wrong and I let time get away from me.

  Speaker 1: So I deeply apologize for not talking to you guys

  Speaker 1: about this sooner. I did want to inform all of

  Speaker 1: you guys about it before that. But the change is.

  Speaker 1: I am going to be partnering from here on out

  Speaker 1: with Life Audio, and this is actually a really exciting

  Speaker 1: thing for me because Life Audio is part of Salem Media.

  Speaker 1: Salem Media. You may have heard of them. They produce

  Speaker 1: the ESV Bible, They produce books through their publisher Crossway

  Speaker 1: I Believe dot com. They have Bible study tools, and

  Speaker 1: just various other radio shows and podcasts that they help

  Speaker 1: promote and prop up. In fact, they have several podcasts

  Speaker 1: that they promote that you all might have heard of.

  Speaker 1: For example, they have the Jesus Calling podcasts. They have
• 1:31
  Speaker 1: Greg LOR's podcast, they have Beckett Cook, which is I
• 1:36
  Speaker 1: love Beckett Cook. I think he's fantastic, Sean McDowell, and
• 1:40
  Speaker 1: they even have Kevin Sorbo's podcast, you know, Hercules. Maybe
• 1:46
  Speaker 1: I can try to get him on the podcast. That'd
• 1:47
  Speaker 1: be fun. And so I'm going to be partnering with them,
• 1:50
  Speaker 1: and I truly do believe that God opened this door
• 1:54
  Speaker 1: for me. And here's why. Do you guys remember back
• 1:57
  Speaker 1: in October where two weeks my podcast, like half of
• 2:01
  Speaker 1: my podcast was unavailable to the entire public, and then
• 2:05
  Speaker 1: for the rest of the month, my first two seasons
• 2:08
  Speaker 1: were unavailable. I'm not gonna lie. That was devastating, like
• 2:13
  Speaker 1: absolutely devastating for my podcast for many different reasons, not
• 2:16
  Speaker 1: just because you know, I lost listeners or anything like that.
• 2:19
  Speaker 1: But the amount of work that I had to do
• 2:22
  Speaker 1: rose exponentially because of that, because I had to make
• 2:25
  Speaker 1: sure that everything was over on YouTube. I had to
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: get the word out that my podcast was available on YouTube.
• 2:31
  Speaker 1: I was fighting with my host, who was causing a
• 2:34
  Speaker 1: lot of the problems, and you know, still paying them
• 2:36
  Speaker 1: throughout all of this. So that was a whole mess,
• 2:38
  Speaker 1: not to mention you know, all of the wonderful, faithful
• 2:42
  Speaker 1: listeners who thankfully reached out to me and was like, hey,
• 2:46
  Speaker 1: I love your podcast, but where the heck is it?
• 2:49
  Speaker 1: So it was just a big mess and it was
• 2:51
  Speaker 1: a lot of work for me, very stressful for that
• 2:53
  Speaker 1: entire month. So right after that, I told you guys,
• 2:56
  Speaker 1: I'm looking for another host. Well, what ended up happening
• 3:00
  Speaker 1: was before October, Life Audio had actually reached out to me,
• 3:04
  Speaker 1: and I wasn't really considering it at the time, Like
• 3:08
  Speaker 1: it was sort of like in the back of my brain,
• 3:09
  Speaker 1: but I wasn't really considering it. But when that whole
• 3:12
  Speaker 1: thing happened in October, I was like, I definitely need
• 3:14
  Speaker 1: to switch hosts. And on top of that, I actually
• 3:16
  Speaker 1: found out that my host is now charging me even
• 3:20
  Speaker 1: more every single month, which I'm paying them a lot
• 3:23
  Speaker 1: to begin with, and I just found out this month
• 3:25
  Speaker 1: they're going to be charging me even more to continue
• 3:28
  Speaker 1: running my podcast, and I'm just like, how can you
• 3:31
  Speaker 1: do that after like devastating my podcast two months ago.
• 3:37
  Speaker 1: So this whole Life Audio thing happened at the exact
• 3:41
  Speaker 1: right time. So as I'm looking for hosts, you know,
• 3:44
  Speaker 1: Life Audio came back up, and so I reached out
• 3:47
  Speaker 1: to them, and one thing led to another, and November
• 3:50
  Speaker 1: and early December I was talking with them and ended
• 3:54
  Speaker 1: up signing on with them, And not much is going
• 3:57
  Speaker 1: to change for you guys. The format of the podcast
• 3:59
  Speaker 1: is going to stay pretty much the same. You know,
• 4:02
  Speaker 1: I have full rights to my podcast. Even though I'm
• 4:05
  Speaker 1: signing with them. The podcast is not going to change.
• 4:08
  Speaker 1: But you will be hearing a Life Audio stinger, like
• 4:12
  Speaker 1: a little blip at the beginning and end of my podcast.
• 4:16
  Speaker 1: And also there will be advertisements. That's kind of the
• 4:20
  Speaker 1: downside with everything. But Life Audio is going to help
• 4:24
  Speaker 1: promote my podcast. They're going to help me market They
• 4:27
  Speaker 1: are going to host the podcast for me, which is
• 4:31
  Speaker 1: just like an answer to prayer, quite honestly, and not
• 4:34
  Speaker 1: to mention, you know, I don't talk about finances all
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: that much on the podcast, but in the almost six
• 4:41
  Speaker 1: years that I've been doing this podcast, you guys know,
• 4:43
  Speaker 1: I have not taken a single paycheck, and that's been
• 4:47
  Speaker 1: difficult at times over the years, so I'm not gonna lie.
• 4:50
  Speaker 1: I am hoping that this integration also helps me continue
• 4:54
  Speaker 1: to do what I love to do for you guys,
• 4:57
  Speaker 1: that I can actually dedicate more time to this podcast
• 5:01
  Speaker 1: without feeling the burden of not taking home a paycheck.
• 5:06
  Speaker 1: But overall, I am not planning on changing much about
• 5:08
  Speaker 1: the podcast. The integration goes through on Monday. I don't
• 5:12
  Speaker 1: know if you're going to start hearing advertisements on Monday
• 5:15
  Speaker 1: or if it'll be sometime next week, but just expect
• 5:18
  Speaker 1: ads at some point on the podcast next week. So
• 5:22
  Speaker 1: I hope you guys continue to support this ministry through

  Speaker 1: this integration. I am very thankful for all the faithful
• 5:28
  Speaker 1: listeners and I appreciate every single one of you. I

  Speaker 1: doors and he shuts doors where he wants me to go,

  Speaker 1: because being God's will, that is the best place to be.

  Speaker 1: or rather the twenty fifth, I guess at midnight. That's

  Speaker 1: but I love doing it. Every single year. I usually

  Speaker 1: sing a song for you guys or play some sort
