- 0:00You may wish you could begin again. Perhaps a
- 0:03plan fell apart. A mistake still troubles you.
- 0:08Or life has changed in a way you did not choose.
- 0:12Bring that unfinished toastery. You can ask for
- 0:16courage. To take the next step. Even in uncertainty.
- 0:22Let us pray. Heavenly Father, I come to you with
- 0:28the place where I need a new beginning. I cannot
- 0:31change what has already happened. But I ask for
- 0:35wisdom about what I can do now. Help me look
- 0:38at my life with honesty without surrendering
- 0:42to the belief that nothing can become different.
- 0:48You know the disappointment behind this prayer.
- 0:52You know what I hope last. What I tried to build
- 0:56and what I am still struggling to understand.
- 1:00Help me speak about it truthfully. Give me room
- 1:05to grieve what has ended while remaining open
- 1:09what can still grow. Forgive me for the choices
- 1:15through which I have hurt others or neglected
- 1:18my responsibilities. Help me take ownership without
- 1:23hiding behind circular standards. Show me where
- 1:27an apology, a repayment, a conversation, or a
- 1:32change in behaviors need. Give me courage to
- 1:35follow through. Father, help me accept that forgiveness
- 1:42does not remove every consequence. Teach me to
- 1:48face what needs repair with patience. Let the
- 1:51work of rebuilding come an expression of sincerity,
- 1:56rather, an intent demand. Everyone trust me.
- 2:03When I keep replaying the past, help me recognize
- 2:07what I can no longer hold. Give me foods to carry
- 2:14the lesson without carrying every accusation
- 2:20into today. Let my next choice reflect the person
- 2:28I'm learned to be. Lord Jesus, meet the person
- 2:34who feels embarrassed to try again. They may
- 2:39fear another disappointment or the judgment of
- 2:42people who remember their last attempt. Give
- 2:48them trustworthy encouragement and a practical
- 2:51place to begin. Help them choose progress. to
- 2:58appear impressive. I pray for those beginning
- 3:03in it. After losing work, help them recognize
- 3:10their abilities. Prepare carefully, and seek
- 3:15opportunity at these pages. Connect them with
- 3:18helpful people. Give them courage to ask questions,
- 3:24and strength to keep life. For those adjusting,
- 3:29after solutions change lives in, I ask for comfort
- 3:34and determent. Help them respect boundaries,
- 3:43and seek support from people who care about their
- 3:47well -being. Let loneliness never persuade them
- 3:52to accept harm. I bring you anyone rebuilding
- 4:00after them. Loss. or a long season of care for
- 4:05someone else. Help them monitor the pace of their
- 4:09circumstances. Let them notice small. Let them
- 4:19notice small. Show me what can be made simpler.
- 4:33Perhaps, I've been trying to change too many
- 4:37things at once. Help me choose one responsibility
- 4:41later. Teach me to value a modest plan. When
- 4:59enthusiasm fades, give me patience with ordinary
- 5:03effort. Help me remember that useful work does
- 5:08not always feel exciting. Let me return to the
- 5:13task with care. Make adjustments when needed.
- 5:19And ask for help. Lord, guard me against promises
- 5:30that... to escape from every problem. Help me
- 5:35look for evidence, understand the rules, and
- 5:39listen to soundly best. Give me the courage to
- 5:44choose this slower. On a shortcut, ask me to
- 5:49ignore the numbers. I pray for the relationships.
- 5:59Help me tell the truth about my life. Make me
- 6:03willing to receive encouragement and agree. Father,
- 6:19keep comparison from deciding the value of matter.
- 6:24Someone else's timeline conditions my life. Focus
- 6:32on the choices available to me. Give me wisdom
- 6:43to rest. And wisdom from the rest. As I rebuild,
- 6:53I do not want fear of falling behind to the somebody
- 6:55I know. Help me care for my body. Help me avoid
- 7:18calling it.
