- 0:03Speaker 1: Good morning family, Good morning God, bless you. Welcome back
- 0:06Speaker 1: to the morning Devotion. You Bro Sam Lopez and it's Friday,
- 0:09Speaker 1: said we're gonna switch gears and we could get into
- 0:12Speaker 1: authentic imitationology status. Amen. And the question for today is
- 0:18Speaker 1: why didn't Jesus get married? You know, somebody actually made
- 0:22Speaker 1: a comment last week on one of my posts and said, yeah,
- 0:26Speaker 1: but Jesus was get married, and it brought to my attention.
- 0:30Speaker 1: I was like, that's a good question, why didn't Jesus
- 0:33Speaker 1: get married? But immediately I posted back, I said, listen,
- 0:37Speaker 1: I think it wouldn't have been fair if my Lord
- 0:40Speaker 1: and my Savior, the Lord Jesus got married, because then
- 0:43Speaker 1: our wives will be comparing us to the perfect man.
- 0:47Speaker 1: He would be the perfect man. He is the perfect man,
- 0:49Speaker 1: the perfect husband. So we would never compare Amen. That
- 0:53Speaker 1: was just what I said right away, because I thought
- 0:56Speaker 1: about it quickly. I was like, well, if he would
- 0:58Speaker 1: have had gotten married, Amen, there's no man on this
- 1:01Speaker 1: planet Earth that would be able to compare his to him. Amen.
- 1:08Speaker 1: And I'm gonna be fair. Amen. That was just my response.
- 1:11Speaker 1: But there's a biblical response that I have, Amen, that
- 1:13Speaker 1: we're going to get into today in a couple of minutes.
- 1:16Speaker 1: So thank you so much for coming through. It's Friday,
- 1:19Speaker 1: so every Friday's we go to what I call authentic imitationlogy.
- 1:24Speaker 1: This is episode one hundred and eleven. We've been together
- 1:28Speaker 1: over one hundred times on Friday. All glory to God
- 1:31Speaker 1: is by his grace's mercy, his word, his truth. Amen.
- 1:34Speaker 1: That keeps us coming back for more. Right, So we're
- 1:37Speaker 1: gonna be here. We're gonna be here. Amen. Let me
- 1:40Speaker 1: make sure I shared this out to the groups so
- 1:43Speaker 1: that they know we're live, because I'm a little late
- 1:46Speaker 1: here and fall all my fault, Amen that I'm late.
- 1:52Speaker 1: But let's see. Let me make sure the Blaze Bible
- 1:56Speaker 1: Studies group. If you're not on the Blaze Bibble Studies,
- 1:59Speaker 1: look it up. It's a private group you can request
- 2:02Speaker 1: to join if we want to join that group on
- 2:05Speaker 1: meta on Facebook. Amen. It's a group that's growing. Amen,
- 2:10Speaker 1: over seven hundred people there. Amen. We're just communicating with
- 2:14Speaker 1: one another, getting into the word of course. Amen, that's
- 2:17Speaker 1: the main thing. So I shared it to a couple
- 2:19Speaker 1: of groups. Let me see what the last one was,
- 2:21Speaker 1: so that I won't share it again. So thank you
- 2:25Speaker 1: so much. If you're one of the groups that I
- 2:27Speaker 1: share with and you will actually allow this to go through.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I'm so grateful for that. Amen. Don't take that for
- 2:32Speaker 1: granted at all. I don't take it for granted. I'm grateful.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Thank you so much. Amen. And why didn't Jesus get
- 2:39Speaker 1: married today? We're gonna be in Luke chapter nineteen, verse
- 2:42Speaker 1: number ten, Luke nineteen, verse number ten to see we
- 2:45Speaker 1: could try to answer that question biblically, Amen. Like I said,
- 2:50Speaker 1: my take on it was, I don't think he wanted
- 2:54Speaker 1: to do that to put men in a bad situation
- 2:58Speaker 1: where when our wives will, you know, probably get upset
- 3:01Speaker 1: with us. And why couldn't you be more like Jesus?
- 3:05Speaker 1: I heard that echoed when my friend on Facebook posted
- 3:09Speaker 1: that comment was like, yeah, but Jesus wasn't married. So
- 3:12Speaker 1: I was like, yeah, thank you Lord for doing that,
- 3:16Speaker 1: for keeping that human. Because Jesus is God in the flesh,
- 3:23Speaker 1: He's the God man, Amen, So he's perfect in all
- 3:27Speaker 1: his ways, and he would have been perfect husband to
- 3:31Speaker 1: and actually able to have to be a perfect wife,
- 3:33Speaker 1: I think, Amen. But he was he was a virgin, Amen,
- 3:37Speaker 1: stayed that way, and Praise God, Praise the Lord, Amen,
- 3:41Speaker 1: so let's go for it. If you have any questions, comments, concerns,
- 3:45Speaker 1: or any prayer requests, please don't hesitate to leave in
- 3:48Speaker 1: a live chat. That is exactly what the live chat
- 3:50Speaker 1: is there for. If you're watching this later on and
- 3:53Speaker 1: what you were live with us, you still could put
- 3:56Speaker 1: something in a live chat. Questions, comments, concerns, prayer requests,
- 3:59Speaker 1: or anything along those lines. Amen, and I'll make sure.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I'll make sure when I see it, I'll get back
- 4:04Speaker 1: to you as soon as possible. Let's pray first. After
- 4:07Speaker 1: we pray, we'll shut us out for like sixty seconds,
- 4:09Speaker 1: and then on the other side of those sixty seconds,
- 4:12Speaker 1: we'll tackle this question. Why didn't Jesus get married? Right? Father?
- 4:18Speaker 1: I thank you, Lord God for your perfectness, your holiness,
- 4:22Speaker 1: your righteousness, your love, your grace, and your mercy over
- 4:25Speaker 1: all of us, over all your children, especially that you lo.
- 4:29Speaker 1: God gave us the opportunity. It gave us the gift
- 4:32Speaker 1: and gave us the passage way to be a family member,
- 4:37Speaker 1: gave us the right to be called a child of God.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Thank you, Lord Jesus for doing that. I pray Lord
- 4:42Speaker 1: God for a hedge of protection over every single person
- 4:45Speaker 1: out there that's driving working on the roads. That low God,
- 4:49Speaker 1: you wild, guide, guard and protect them. I pray Low
- 4:52Speaker 1: God for my friend Lopez family that their daughter had
- 4:57Speaker 1: a stroke, and I pray Low God that there will
- 5:00Speaker 1: be peace in the hearts of those parents and peace
- 5:03Speaker 1: in Christalina in Jesus' name. Amen, I thank you, Lord
- 5:08Speaker 1: God that you are with her and you are with
- 5:10Speaker 1: that family. In Jesus Holy name. I pray Lord God,
- 5:12Speaker 1: peace over myself, my family, our children, my grandchildren, and
- 5:17Speaker 1: everyone in between, all the relatives connected. I pray that
- 5:20Speaker 1: peace that transcends all understanding that only comes from you Lord.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Thank you, Lord God for regarding, guiding and protecting us.
- 5:28Speaker 1: I pray health to the body, strength to the bones,
- 5:30Speaker 1: and the powerful name of Jesus as well over myself,
- 5:32Speaker 1: my family, my wife, our children, our grandchildren, our relatives,
- 5:35Speaker 1: and every single person on the other side of the
- 5:38Speaker 1: screen and on the other side of this mike. In
- 5:40Speaker 1: the powerful name of Jesus. We praise. It's by faith
- 5:42Speaker 1: in Jesus Holy Name, and those who agree we say
- 5:45Speaker 1: amen to the Amen. Amen. So let's go for it.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Since the joy us I see you. Good morning, God,
- 5:50Speaker 1: bless you and your family as well, and thank you
- 5:53Speaker 1: for the blessings that you always share and you pray
- 5:56Speaker 1: over our group. Thank you so much for being with us,
- 5:58Speaker 1: my sister and my friend, Brother Manuel, God bless you. Amen. Amen,
- 6:02Speaker 1: it's good to see you, my brother and my friend.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Hope everything's working well. It looks like everything's working out
- 6:06Speaker 1: over there in Puerto Rico. I thank you so much
- 6:09Speaker 1: for coming through to the morning Devo, so watching him
- 6:11Speaker 1: praying for your family as well, my brother and my friend.
- 6:14Speaker 1: So let's go for it. Sixty seconds. I'll be sharing
- 6:17Speaker 1: this side. When we come back, we'll get right into it.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I'll be right back. Amen. Amen. Systems acting a little funny,
- 7:53Speaker 1: is a little delayed. I don't know why. Amen, So
- 7:55Speaker 1: let's go for it. Let's go for Let's see what
- 7:58Speaker 1: the word has for us today. Amen. This is what
- 8:02Speaker 1: I look forward to, man, getting into the word, sharing
- 8:05Speaker 1: the word, reading the word, applying the word and sharing
- 8:08Speaker 1: it with as many people as I can. So I'm
- 8:11Speaker 1: really just reading the word, trusting the word because the
- 8:14Speaker 1: word is alive and the word is powerful. So when
- 8:17Speaker 1: you read the word, I suggest you apply the word.
- 8:20Speaker 1: And if you're reading the word of God uninspired meaning
- 8:24Speaker 1: that you're not born again. Let's get that taken care
- 8:26Speaker 1: of right now. Admit that you're a sinner. Go to
- 8:29Speaker 1: Jesus the Lord. Amen. He knows your heart, he knows
- 8:32Speaker 1: who you're calling out to. He knows he's God. So
- 8:34Speaker 1: when you call upon God, when you call upon the Lord, Amen,
- 8:37Speaker 1: he will listen, forgive you for your sins. He would
- 8:40Speaker 1: send the Holy Spirit of God, his spirit to live
- 8:43Speaker 1: inside of you, and then you'll believe, and then you're
- 8:45Speaker 1: going to want to confess to Jesus Christ as your
- 8:47Speaker 1: personal Lord and savior everywhere you go. It's impossible to
- 8:52Speaker 1: be saved and not want to share your salvation message
- 8:56Speaker 1: a man, the gospel message that transformed you, renewed you,
- 8:58Speaker 1: restored your redeemed you, and gave you a born again experience.
- 9:02Speaker 1: There's no possible way. And if people are going around
- 9:05Speaker 1: saying I'm a Christian, but you know I don't talk
- 9:06Speaker 1: about it, then you might want to run from that situation,
- 9:10Speaker 1: out of there and run to a believer who's filled
- 9:13Speaker 1: with Holy Spirit God, who's able or willing or available
- 9:17Speaker 1: to you to share the Gospel message with you, so
- 9:20Speaker 1: that way you could be assured that this is not
- 9:22Speaker 1: just like your idea or it's not just a belief system,
- 9:26Speaker 1: is actually a lifestyle, and you could see people's lives
- 9:29Speaker 1: being transformed right in front of your face, Amen, in
- 9:32Speaker 1: real time, in the real world, right because guy's a
- 9:35Speaker 1: real God. God's a real god in over the real world.
- 9:39Speaker 1: He created us. Bless you, brother, Frank, God bless you
- 9:43Speaker 1: and your family as well and everybody on the morning Devo.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Brother Frank sends the blessings to everybody listening as well.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Thank you so much for coming through, my brother and
- 9:51Speaker 1: my friend. So let's go for it again. Let me
- 9:55Speaker 1: see why this doesn't hide my cursor and I have
- 9:59Speaker 1: to call contact these people over at Canva and tell them, hey,
- 10:08Speaker 1: your option doesn't work anymore of hiding the cursing. Even
- 10:13Speaker 1: though nobody knows what I'm talking about. But people who
- 10:15Speaker 1: are a little tech savvy, you know exactly what I'm
- 10:17Speaker 1: talking about. So let's go for it. I'm gonna put
- 10:20Speaker 1: this on the screen for those who are listening at
- 10:21Speaker 1: Sole Winners with a RG which is Celebrate on Network.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Thank you so much for coming through and listening. Amen,
- 10:29Speaker 1: and those who are listening to the podcast, thank you
- 10:30Speaker 1: so much for coming If you haven't subscribed to the podcast.
- 10:34Speaker 1: You could do that now. Go to live do Sole
- 10:36Speaker 1: Winners with a z dot org where we're live there
- 10:40Speaker 1: as well. You could actually subscribe to the podcast there
- 10:43Speaker 1: and subscribe to the YouTube channel as well. If that's
- 10:46Speaker 1: what you want to do. I'll be right back because
- 10:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna get off the screen for a minute, but
- 10:51Speaker 1: I'm gonna keep on talking and we're gonna go to
- 10:53Speaker 1: this screen right here. Imitationology authentic ivitationology. Amen, let's get
- 10:59Speaker 1: into this question that was posed. Why didn't Jesus get married?
- 11:04Speaker 1: You ever thought about that? I thank God for not
- 11:07Speaker 1: getting married. Thank you Lord that you didn't marry because
- 11:10Speaker 1: if you was, I could already hear my wife when
- 11:12Speaker 1: I'm in a bad situation with her, she would have
- 11:16Speaker 1: been like, how come you can't be more like Jesus.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Jesus was a perfect man, perfectly, he would have had
- 11:23Speaker 1: to marry a perfect in my opinion, he would have
- 11:25Speaker 1: had to have to marry a perfect woman. Right, there's
- 11:28Speaker 1: no other way in my opinion. But let's see what
- 11:31Speaker 1: the word of God has to say. It's more important
- 11:33Speaker 1: than what I have to say. Luke, Chapter nineteen, verse
- 11:36Speaker 1: number ten. And you have to read this in its entirety,
- 11:40Speaker 1: but I'm gonna pick it up from what Jesus said. Here.
- 11:44Speaker 1: This is half of what Jesus said, For the son
- 11:47Speaker 1: of Man has come to seek and to save that
- 11:52Speaker 1: which was lost. So it seems like Jesus didn't get
- 11:59Speaker 1: married because he is on a mission. I swear this
- 12:02Speaker 1: verse shouts to me. It says that I didn't come
- 12:05Speaker 1: to get married. I didn't come to do this, that,
- 12:07Speaker 1: and the third. I came to seek the laws and
- 12:10Speaker 1: to save them. Amen. Seems like Jesus was on a mission, right,
- 12:16Speaker 1: That's what I see right away from that verse. I
- 12:18Speaker 1: want to get to my notes because I started thinking
- 12:20Speaker 1: about it and said, why would he say that? Amen?
- 12:23Speaker 1: I think Jesus didn't get married because his mission was
- 12:29Speaker 1: solely focused on fulfilling God's plan of salvation. So Jesus
- 12:38Speaker 1: is the completion of Yahweh. Jesus is the completion of
- 12:42Speaker 1: the law. Jesus is the completion of God's plan of salvation. Amen,
- 12:49Speaker 1: He's the savior. So I think if you would have
- 12:53Speaker 1: had gotten married, Devil says that when you're married, your
- 13:00Speaker 1: let's see you quote is right. When you're married, your
- 13:05Speaker 1: plans are divided or so like, when you're single, right,
- 13:10Speaker 1: and you're born again, you notice that you're single, you
- 13:13Speaker 1: on fire for God, amen, and you're focused on the Lord.
- 13:18Speaker 1: But when you get into relationship, when you get married,
- 13:21Speaker 1: then you're divided now because now you have to make
- 13:24Speaker 1: sure your spouse is part of the focus. Right. You
- 13:29Speaker 1: can't just be like, I'm married, but I'm just focused
- 13:32Speaker 1: on God and not pay attention to your spouse. So
- 13:35Speaker 1: your plans and everything changes. You still could be on
- 13:39Speaker 1: fire the marriage, a fir re marriage, a fired up,
- 13:44Speaker 1: holy spirit filled marriage, is something awesome to see. Amen.
- 13:50Speaker 1: Jesus didn't get married because his mission on earth was
- 13:53Speaker 1: focused on fulfilling God's plan of salvation. According to what
- 13:58Speaker 1: we just read Luke chapter nineteen, his purpose was spiritual,
- 14:04Speaker 1: not earthly, if you think about it right. Jesus came
- 14:09Speaker 1: to repentance. His first preaching was about repentance. Jesus came
- 14:14Speaker 1: to spread the message of the Kingdom of God. Jesus
- 14:17Speaker 1: came to demonstrate his own love. Jesus came to set
- 14:21Speaker 1: a perfect example for imperfect people. So that way we
- 14:25Speaker 1: notice a difference between how way we live and the
- 14:27Speaker 1: way he lived. A man but it was to show
- 14:30Speaker 1: us that he is the bridge to God. He is
- 14:34Speaker 1: the Way, he is the Truth, he is the Life.
- 14:36Speaker 1: He showed it all through his demonstration on this earth.
- 14:41Speaker 1: He didn't need really nobody's help. Right. He did it
- 14:45Speaker 1: because he was on a mission, because there was a
- 14:47Speaker 1: mission of love, a mission of salvation. He was on
- 14:50Speaker 1: a rescue mission. So getting married I think would have
- 14:54Speaker 1: kind of like got him a little bit off focused
- 14:57Speaker 1: because then he would have had to think about his wife.
- 15:02Speaker 1: So his purpose was spiritual, not earthly, right Luke nineteen Again,
- 15:08Speaker 1: he said Jesus came to seek and save the loss
- 15:14Speaker 1: and also to establish God's kingdom, not really to build
- 15:20Speaker 1: a physical family, because we're part of his family. But
- 15:24Speaker 1: that was because of what he did on the cross.
- 15:27Speaker 1: A man is spiritual and now we are part grafted
- 15:31Speaker 1: in to the family that God adopted because what he
- 15:36Speaker 1: did on the cross, that's spiritual, became a physical reality
- 15:41Speaker 1: when you see the transformation of somebody's life, So what
- 15:44Speaker 1: happens in the spirit comes to the physical. Right, So
- 15:47Speaker 1: he was on a spiritual journey, not an earthly journey.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Amen spiritual not earthly. On top of it all, Jesus
- 15:58Speaker 1: is married. We're married to the Lord because the Church
- 16:00Speaker 1: of God is his bride. We see in Ephesians chapter five,
- 16:05Speaker 1: twenty five to twenty seven. Apostle Paul describes it like this.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Christ loves the Church as a husband loves his wife.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Remember that it was a spiritual marriage. That was his priority.
- 16:26Speaker 1: He knows as men that it's hard for us to
- 16:30Speaker 1: die to ourselves, right to die of the flesh and
- 16:37Speaker 1: die like Jesus died on across for our wives of
- 16:40Speaker 1: a fall spouse. But that's that's what he told husbands
- 16:43Speaker 1: to do, and wise he said, respect, love, honor, right
- 16:48Speaker 1: your husband, right, submit to one another, and all that
- 16:55Speaker 1: that you see in Ephesians chapter five. I don't want
- 16:57Speaker 1: to get in trouble, but that's what the Fhesians chapter
- 16:58Speaker 1: five is talking about. But verses around twenty five to
- 17:02Speaker 1: twenty seven, you'll see what I just quoted. Amen, And
- 17:05Speaker 1: so Jesus actually has a bride the Church. We are
- 17:10Speaker 1: his bride. Amen. We are his bride, and he's the groomsman,
- 17:16Speaker 1: and he's coming back for his bride. We are the
- 17:19Speaker 1: bride of Christ. Yes, it's the joyce. So it's a
- 17:23Speaker 1: spiritual marriage, right, Obviously it's not an earthly marriage. He
- 17:30Speaker 1: lived a life of total devotion, and he was pure
- 17:35Speaker 1: one hundred percent. He didn't have the bloodline of Joseph,
- 17:40Speaker 1: his kind of stepdad. Right. He was conceived by married
- 17:46Speaker 1: his mom was conceived by Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit impregnated Mary.
- 17:52Speaker 1: And he has no man's blood in him. He has
- 17:56Speaker 1: the Father's dna. He was saying here on a mission, Amen,
- 18:02Speaker 1: not created. Jesus is God. He sent himself in a
- 18:06Speaker 1: phone of a man so that we could relate. We
- 18:08Speaker 1: see it was eyewitness encounters with our Lord. And I'll
- 18:12Speaker 1: save you the Lord Jesus. Sometimes I wish I was
- 18:15Speaker 1: around doing those signs. I could see the science, miracles
- 18:17Speaker 1: and wonders in front of me. Amen. Although I got
- 18:20Speaker 1: to experience, thank you, Lord, is because of his grace.
- 18:23Speaker 1: I got to experience miracles on this side of eternity. Amen.
- 18:27Speaker 1: To God's really not a miracle. To God is what
- 18:30Speaker 1: he promised, what he said he would do, and he
- 18:32Speaker 1: came through with what he said he would do, would
- 18:34Speaker 1: have two miracle daughters. Amen. So the Church is his bride.
- 18:38Speaker 1: He lived a life of total devotion. Jesus dedicated his
- 18:43Speaker 1: whole life to teaching, healing, and ultimately sacrificing his life
- 18:50Speaker 1: for all humanity. Marriage and family, that type of life
- 18:56Speaker 1: would have divided his focus. That's what I meant to
- 18:59Speaker 1: say earlier. When you're married, your focus becomes divided. Amen.
- 19:03Speaker 1: That's what I was trying to go First Corinthians, chapter seven,
- 19:06Speaker 1: thirty two to thirty five. Around there, I'm just gonna
- 19:09Speaker 1: cite the scripture. You could check it out for yourself.
- 19:11Speaker 1: First Corinthians, chapter seven, thirty two to thirty five. That's
- 19:15Speaker 1: what I was trying to get at. Earlier then I
- 19:17Speaker 1: was having the morning fog happening. Amen. But I knew
- 19:21Speaker 1: where I was going with that. Amen. Thank you Jesus.
- 19:24Speaker 1: I forgot it was in my notes. Prophetic fulfillment. Prophetic
- 19:29Speaker 1: fulfillment is what Jesus came for. You know how many
- 19:33Speaker 1: prophecies Jesus fulfilled when he came to this planet, revealed
- 19:38Speaker 1: himself on planet Earth, went to the cross. They said,
- 19:42Speaker 1: there's theologians say, oh, with three hundred prophecies fulfilled? Man,
- 19:48Speaker 1: how many prophecies must somebody see in their life to
- 19:54Speaker 1: recognize that the Word of God, the Bible is authentic,
- 19:58Speaker 1: it is true? Right? Fifteen? Well, you have over three hundred.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Just investigate the life of Jesus and you'll find out
- 20:06Speaker 1: on why so many of us really truly believe in
- 20:10Speaker 1: the Word of God. Amen, not just anything that's just
- 20:14Speaker 1: made up. The Word of God is accurate, alive, sharper
- 20:17Speaker 1: than any double edged sword. The Word of God pierces
- 20:20Speaker 1: through the body, soul, spirit, the bone, marrow, everything, and
- 20:24Speaker 1: the prophecies are fulfilled. So many prophetic fulfillment, so much
- 20:29Speaker 1: prophetic fulfillment in the scriptures a man, and there's still
- 20:32Speaker 1: more prophecies to come. Amazing. Jesus was the fulfillment of
- 20:39Speaker 1: Old Testament prophecies about who the Messiah is. He is
- 20:44Speaker 1: the Messiah, the Mischief McGee, the Holy one day anointed One,
- 20:47Speaker 1: Prince of Peace, wonderful counselor Almighty God. His life was
- 20:52Speaker 1: set apart, sanctified for a divine mission, and marriage was
- 20:57Speaker 1: not part of that plan. So it's kind of simple
- 21:00Speaker 1: answer why didn't Jesus get married because it wasn't really
- 21:04Speaker 1: part of the plan that he was sent here for. Right,
- 21:09Speaker 1: If that was part of the plan, then he would
- 21:11Speaker 1: have fulfilled that too. But he's to fulfillment of prophecy. Amen.
- 21:18Speaker 1: So you might think if Jesus had gotten married, it
- 21:25Speaker 1: would have probably shifted its focus right from salvation spiritual
- 21:32Speaker 1: to earthly things, like he would have had an earthly lineage,
- 21:37Speaker 1: he would have had children probably right like the Divincion
- 21:40Speaker 1: Colde says, Divincion cold is just a movie. No facts
- 21:42Speaker 1: in there, please. I know a lot of people when
- 21:45Speaker 1: Divincion Colde came out O they were like, oh, we already,
- 21:47Speaker 1: we already knew that Jesus had a bloodline, he had
- 21:50Speaker 1: children him, blah blah blah. It was a movie, a
- 21:54Speaker 1: creative license, had nothing to do with true word of God. Amen.
- 22:01Speaker 1: But people took it to the next level and they said,
- 22:03Speaker 1: were you Christians? You lied to us? And the Vatican
- 22:05Speaker 1: is hiding all the proof and all that. It was
- 22:08Speaker 1: just a movie, ladies and gentlemen. And that movie did
- 22:12Speaker 1: well because people are curious, and when you're curious, you
- 22:16Speaker 1: want to check out what that's all about. But Jesus,
- 22:20Speaker 1: I believe, didn't get married because it would have probably
- 22:24Speaker 1: shifted his focus of spiritual things to earthly things, and
- 22:30Speaker 1: then he would have been focused or maybe even locked
- 22:33Speaker 1: into his earthly lineage. And we know that the lineage,
- 22:37Speaker 1: the blood line of Jesus is not connected to any man,
- 22:41Speaker 1: Joseph or any king or anything like that. The blood
- 22:44Speaker 1: line of Jesus connected to the Father, Amen, and the
- 22:48Speaker 1: only blood that they will find, and his blood would
- 22:52Speaker 1: be his mom because he came. He was born through
- 22:55Speaker 1: that brother, E God blessed. My brother Eric is in
- 22:58Speaker 1: the building. Amen, good morning, got lets you as well.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Welcome back to the morning, Devo my brother. So let's
- 23:06Speaker 1: go for it. Jesus didn't get married because his legacy
- 23:12Speaker 1: is spiritual. Right, think about it. He has a spiritual legacy.
- 23:16Speaker 1: He doesn't have to worry about earthly lineage. He doesn't
- 23:20Speaker 1: focus on earthly lineage. It's obvious that Jesus is divine, Amen.
- 23:24Speaker 1: So had he got married, his focus would have shifted,
- 23:28Speaker 1: his plans would have been divided. Right. He does have
- 23:32Speaker 1: a bride though the Church, And I know it sounds weird,
- 23:36Speaker 1: but we are the Church, Amen, and we are the
- 23:38Speaker 1: body of Christ, and we are his bride. So Jesus
- 23:43Speaker 1: offers eternal life, not a temporary marriage. Unfortunately, according to
- 23:51Speaker 1: how I read the scriptures, the Bible says there's no
- 23:53Speaker 1: marriage in heaven, so we have to make the best
- 23:56Speaker 1: of our marriage on this side of eternity, because I'm
- 23:58Speaker 1: unsure of what would happen on the other. But I'm
- 24:00Speaker 1: sure we will recognize our spouses, and I'm sure it
- 24:04Speaker 1: would be amazing when we were both born again. How
- 24:09Speaker 1: on the other side of eternity, how will we respond
- 24:12Speaker 1: to one another? I still think it'd be beautiful. So
- 24:16Speaker 1: you have eternal life for all those who believe in
- 24:19Speaker 1: Jesus the Messiah, and I think from my notes, I
- 24:23Speaker 1: think that's some reasons why I believe in The scriptures
- 24:27Speaker 1: kind of show why Jesus didn't get married. Amen. I
- 24:30Speaker 1: hope I dig my part. You could dig into those scriptures.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Make sure you go to Luke chapter nineteen. I think
- 24:37Speaker 1: it was right and read the whole chapter for yourself,
- 24:40Speaker 1: because that was part of what Jesus said. You got
- 24:43Speaker 1: to take it in context of why he said that
- 24:46Speaker 1: he came and seek the loss and to save them. Amen.
- 24:50Speaker 1: So have a great weekend. God bless you. Thank you
- 24:52Speaker 1: so much for hanging out with me for these morning DeVos.
- 24:55Speaker 1: It's Friday, so it's authentic inmentationlogy. Amen on the blaze
- 25:00Speaker 1: Bible study, so let's go for it. Thank you so much.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Have a great day. Let me send you a blessing.
- 25:05Speaker 1: God bless you all, God keep you all, and remember
- 25:07Speaker 1: always that God is good. Please,
