- 0:00Speaker 1: Mark Simon Show on seventy ten w on, Hey, very
- 0:07Speaker 1: rainy day to day, it's going to be this horrible
- 0:10Speaker 1: all day, nothing but rain and wind all day.
- 0:12Speaker 2: It'll be gone by tomorrow. Tomorrow night's Halloween, so everything
- 0:16Speaker 2: will clear up for that. Even the Washington Post, the
- 0:20Speaker 2: left wing liberal Washington Post, big editorial today telling Democrats
- 0:25Speaker 2: time to end the shutdown, stop holding the government hostage.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Schumer the king of the shutdown, it says in the
- 0:34Speaker 2: Washington Post, Schumer has allowed the shutdown to drag on
- 0:37Speaker 2: because he's worried about fending off a primary challenger in
- 0:41Speaker 2: twenty twenty eight. Now, a lot of people close to
- 0:44Speaker 2: Schumer say he will just give up. He will not
- 0:46Speaker 2: even try to run in twenty twenty eight. He'll just
- 0:50Speaker 2: give up, just give up, and that leaves him a
- 0:54Speaker 2: few years. You know, he's an older guy. Time to
- 0:57Speaker 2: time to wrap it up anyway. Probably went from the
- 1:00Speaker 2: little Ben Franklin glasses to the big swifty Lazark type
- 1:04Speaker 2: of glasses, the mister Magoo glasses. Time probably to just
- 1:10Speaker 2: if he's you know, people say, I don't even remember this,
- 1:13Speaker 2: but they say when he started forty something years ago
- 1:16Speaker 2: in Congress did. He was a man of principal, and
- 1:18Speaker 2: he was a principaled guy, and he would do the
- 1:20Speaker 2: right thing. I don't even remember this, but if that's
- 1:24Speaker 2: the case, you know, go back to that for your
- 1:25Speaker 2: last couple of years. Just do the right thing.
- 1:28Speaker 3: You know.
- 1:29Speaker 2: All you got to do is they got this what
- 1:32Speaker 2: he called it. They have these crazy names. A clean
- 1:34Speaker 2: CR means continuing resolution. What does that mean. It means
- 1:40Speaker 2: they sign a thing where they keep it open in
- 1:42Speaker 2: another seven weeks, and then you sit down and you
- 1:44Speaker 2: got seven weeks to the negotiate. Seems pretty simple. No
- 1:48Speaker 2: matter what the fight, no matter what the dispute, you
- 1:51Speaker 2: sign this thing. Okay, well we'll keep it open seven
- 1:54Speaker 2: weeks while we while we settle it. They tried this.
- 2:01Speaker 2: They vote on it every day, and the Democrats have
- 2:05Speaker 2: voted it down thirteen times. They will not do this
- 2:08Speaker 2: continuing resolution thing where you keep it open to the
- 2:11Speaker 2: seven weeks. But here's the Washington Post today yelling and
- 2:13Speaker 2: screaming at humor. Stop this, this is silly. Open the
- 2:18Speaker 2: government up. Stop holding everything hostage. So we'll see what happens.
- 2:22Speaker 2: But they're all supposed to leave. You know, these are
- 2:25Speaker 2: politicians and These Republicans are just as bad when it
- 2:27Speaker 2: comes to this kind of stuff. They're on vacation every
- 2:30Speaker 2: two seconds, you know, they take that nine thousand weeks
- 2:34Speaker 2: off a year. They're all leaving this weekend. You know
- 2:37Speaker 2: this Schumer will tell you everybody's going to die. It's
- 2:40Speaker 2: the worst crisis. We're all going to die. And then
- 2:42Speaker 2: it goes away for the weekend. So but they'll have
- 2:45Speaker 2: to go through the airports and they're going to see
- 2:47Speaker 2: the air controller stuff and the delays, and they'll they'll
- 2:51Speaker 2: feel it this weekend as they fly home and fly back.
- 2:55Speaker 2: So Jerome Powell, the Fed Chairman, did lower rates quarter
- 3:00Speaker 2: of a point, which is nothing. He still has disappointed everybody.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Powell is a real Trump derangement syndrome. Guy really hates Trump.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Doesn't want to do Let me can quite figure this
- 3:12Speaker 2: guy out. We know he hates Trump, so he made
- 3:14Speaker 2: deliberately not lowering the rates to where they should be,
- 3:17Speaker 2: trying to hurt Trump. Although some people think he's just
- 3:21Speaker 2: a dumb economist, he's just a bad economist. And he
- 3:24Speaker 2: has this thing about growth. You know, we're on track
- 3:27Speaker 2: to really grow the economy and he's trying to stall
- 3:30Speaker 2: that growth because as a dumb economist, some believe, some
- 3:35Speaker 2: very smart guys believe he's one of these dumb economists
- 3:39Speaker 2: who thinks growth could be inflationary, so you want to
- 3:42Speaker 2: slow the growth so you don't get too much inflation.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Here's Powell yesterday at.
- 3:46Speaker 4: A time when we have tension between our two goals.
- 3:50Speaker 4: We have, you know, strong views across the committee, and
- 3:53Speaker 4: as I mentioned, they were strongly differing views today. And
- 3:57Speaker 4: the takeaway from that is that we haven't made a
- 3:59Speaker 4: decision about December.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Now for a million dollars, tell me what he just said.
- 4:03Speaker 2: I don't know. There's supposed to be another rate decrease
- 4:07Speaker 2: in December.
- 4:08Speaker 5: See.
- 4:08Speaker 2: The problem is if he's delayed this for like a year,
- 4:12Speaker 2: he's delayed, delayed, delayed, delayed. So when you delay the
- 4:15Speaker 2: rate decutting the rate too long, then you have to
- 4:19Speaker 2: do an even bigger cut. So you're gonna have to
- 4:20Speaker 2: cut every month now to make up for his delays.
- 4:23Speaker 4: In support of our goals and in light of the
- 4:25Speaker 4: balance of risks to employment and inflation, today the Federal
- 4:28Speaker 4: Open Market Committee decided to lower our policy interest rate
- 4:32Speaker 4: by a quarter percentage point.
- 4:35Speaker 2: I would like to spend New Year's Eve with this guy, well,
- 4:37Speaker 2: an exciting guy.
- 4:38Speaker 4: Though some important federal government data have been delayed due
- 4:41Speaker 4: to the shutdown, the public and private sector data that
- 4:44Speaker 4: have remained available suggests that the outlook for employment and
- 4:47Speaker 4: inflation has not changed much since our meeting in September.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Now that he'd be great as a spokesman for somebody,
- 4:53Speaker 2: because you don't know what the ally's saying. It just
- 4:55Speaker 2: comes up and you pretend you're listening, but you don't
- 5:01Speaker 2: know what he said. The Mayo Race, a bunch of
- 5:03Speaker 2: poles came out in the last twenty four hours showing
- 5:06Speaker 2: Mamdani slaughtering Cuomo by one is sixteen points, one is
- 5:10Speaker 2: twenty five points. But again, these are all these college poles,
- 5:14Speaker 2: these junk poles. Curtis Sliwa on Staten Island yesterday. Cuomo
- 5:18Speaker 2: actually went to Staten Island, which is something he would
- 5:21Speaker 2: never do. But he was suddenly seen on Staten Island yesterday.
- 5:27Speaker 2: And now that's a one borough that's pretty much always
- 5:30Speaker 2: going for Sliwa, that's a Sliwa borth. So maybe's trying
- 5:33Speaker 2: to eat into Sleewa's lead there. But Curtis was on
- 5:35Speaker 2: Staten Island.
- 5:36Speaker 6: Coming to Cuomo.
- 5:37Speaker 7: In that primary debate, when all the Democrats were asked
- 5:41Speaker 7: which borough did they visit the least, they all said
- 5:45Speaker 7: Staten Island, and they giggled and laughed like a bunch
- 5:47Speaker 7: of kids. Staten Island is won't forget how you distin
- 5:52Speaker 7: dismissed them with Joan Mondami and the other Democrats.
- 5:55Speaker 2: I'm there all the time. Yeah, ain't no, he is,
- 5:57Speaker 2: that's been all the time. No thing with Staten Island.
- 6:00Speaker 2: It's the least population, the lowest population of any borough,
- 6:04Speaker 2: and it tends to always always go Republican, which is
- 6:08Speaker 2: I think the only brother that traditionally does.
- 6:10Speaker 7: That, Cuomo fairweather friend. I think people in Staten Island
- 6:14Speaker 7: know that both him and Zora are coming there to
- 6:17Speaker 7: get the votes, but they've never been there before, and
- 6:20Speaker 7: I guarantee you after the election, they'll never be on
- 6:23Speaker 7: Staten Island again.
- 6:24Speaker 2: I'm Staten Island strong, through and through. Yeah. So here's
- 6:29Speaker 2: what I'm Donnie yesterday.
- 6:31Speaker 6: Everyone always says that I'm running on an affordability agenda.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Well that's not quite true.
- 6:38Speaker 8: I'm running.
- 6:40Speaker 9: On a beec agenda.
- 6:43Speaker 10: It's not a bacon, egg and cheese.
- 6:45Speaker 6: It's bringing economic change on the side.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Oh isn't he clever?
- 6:53Speaker 10: Now?
- 6:54Speaker 2: What that the Bodega union, Bodega Association, Uh, it's kind
- 7:01Speaker 2: of the union for bodegas. They came out and they
- 7:03Speaker 2: endorsed Mom Donnie. Can you believe that they endorsed Mom Donnie? Now,
- 7:10Speaker 2: this Fernando Mattea, he's the very colorful co founder of
- 7:14Speaker 2: it's the United Bodega's of America Association. He resigned. He
- 7:19Speaker 2: quit because the president of this organization endorsed Mom Donnie.
- 7:24Speaker 2: So Matteo resigned and they's going to hold a news
- 7:28Speaker 2: conference later today denouncing this endorsement. And he contended it
- 7:33Speaker 2: it's illegal. It violates the Bodega Owners Group's nonprofit status.
- 7:38Speaker 2: So if they are indeed a nonprofit five oh one
- 7:41Speaker 2: c three, they can't get political. So this is going
- 7:45Speaker 2: to be a big problem for them. But that's what
- 7:47Speaker 2: he was talking about, bacon, egg and cheese and all that,
- 7:50Speaker 2: Cuomo yesterday. Let's see what he was up to.
- 7:52Speaker 11: The truth is, there's a quiet civil war going on
- 7:57Speaker 11: in the Democratic Party rule.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Notice he's backed to talking slow and funny, going up
- 8:03Speaker 2: and down and talking like that.
- 8:05Speaker 11: Again, The truth is there's a quiet civil war going
- 8:10Speaker 11: on in the Democratic Party right now. You have an
- 8:13Speaker 11: extreme left, radical left Bernice s Andrews AOC. Mamdani is
- 8:19Speaker 11: just the banner carrier for that movement versus the mainstream
- 8:24Speaker 11: moderate Democrats.
- 8:26Speaker 2: They now call me moderate. They used to call me liberal.
- 8:29Speaker 11: Now I'm a moderate because the whole party shifted.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Yeah, he talks slow again. You know, he always talks
- 8:36Speaker 2: to you like you're the one that's stupid that he
- 8:38Speaker 2: talks like this. Now he has a good point there
- 8:42Speaker 2: that he's now considered the moderate. He got really lucky.
- 8:45Speaker 2: You know, Normally, if you do terrible things as governor
- 8:48Speaker 2: that everybody hates, you know, the no bail, no jail,
- 8:51Speaker 2: the taxes, all the things he did. So many people
- 8:54Speaker 2: left New York when he was governor. We lost four
- 8:56Speaker 2: congressional seats under him. So rible governor. And then the
- 9:01Speaker 2: sex scandal, the sexual harassment scandal. He has to resign
- 9:05Speaker 2: in disgrace. He's under investigation by the Ethics Committee for
- 9:08Speaker 2: the book deal. All these horrible things happen, then normally
- 9:11Speaker 2: you can't run again, and if you did, you who
- 9:15Speaker 2: would back you. But he got really lucky in that
- 9:18Speaker 2: the guy that shows up to run against him is
- 9:21Speaker 2: the craziest left wing socialist communist nut job Mamdani ever.
- 9:26Speaker 2: So next to him, Cuomo looks like a moderate, even
- 9:30Speaker 2: though he governed as an extreme far left guy. So
- 9:35Speaker 2: but the problem is Cuomo's unfavorability is just so high
- 9:39Speaker 2: it's tough for him to ever care. It's not about
- 9:41Speaker 2: Curtis and to keep yelling Curtis has together. It has
- 9:43Speaker 2: nothing to do with Curtis getting out. Let Cuomo earn
- 9:46Speaker 2: those votes if he wants. And here here's more from yesterday.
- 9:49Speaker 2: That's what this election is about.
- 9:50Speaker 11: It is that civil war. I believe that far left
- 9:55Speaker 11: will destroy the Democratic Party. I believe it will destroy
- 9:59Speaker 11: the Democratic Party nationwide if that far left becomes dominant.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Yeah, it's happened before where the Democrats went so far
- 10:08Speaker 2: to the left they just lost everything. And if they
- 10:10Speaker 2: lose the midterms, then you'll see the revolution. And that's
- 10:13Speaker 2: happened before. And then when that happened, somebody rises up
- 10:17Speaker 2: of Bill Clinton and leads them back towards the center,
- 10:20Speaker 2: towards the mainstream. And I don't know who that would
- 10:24Speaker 2: be this time. That Newsom is pretty good at that.
- 10:27Speaker 2: I know he's a far left guy. But he's a
- 10:30Speaker 2: good actor. He's good a particularly Clinton did that a
- 10:33Speaker 2: couple of times in his career. He was a left
- 10:34Speaker 2: wing governor. Denny was a right wing governor. It's like
- 10:38Speaker 2: a weather van. I Knewsom might have that talent. And
- 10:41Speaker 2: more of Mom Donnie essay. I think he was talking
- 10:43Speaker 2: about his father. Then with the Civil War, Oh no,
- 10:46Speaker 2: this is Mom Donnie's father. Now you get all this
- 10:48Speaker 2: video coming out from Mom Donnie from years ago where
- 10:52Speaker 2: he said horrible things about Israel, the police, America, all
- 10:55Speaker 2: this stuff. Then we find his father, who's a real
- 10:58Speaker 2: left wing kook of a professor. If you wonder how
- 11:03Speaker 2: come all these twenty sethings they're voting for these crazy well,
- 11:05Speaker 2: it's because of the universities. They were taken over years
- 11:08Speaker 2: ago by left wing kook professors, boards of trustees, and
- 11:14Speaker 2: presidents and they went they became radical in doctrination centers.
- 11:18Speaker 2: So you know, if you an impressionable college, get four
- 11:21Speaker 2: years of these people telling you how great socialism is,
- 11:24Speaker 2: and this Momdani father telling you he's a professor telling
- 11:27Speaker 2: you all this nonsense.
- 11:28Speaker 9: Then with the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln generalized the solution
- 11:34Speaker 9: of reservations they herded American Indians into separate territories for
- 11:43Speaker 9: the Nazis. For the Nazis, this was the inspiration. Hitler
- 11:50Speaker 9: realized two things. One that genocide was doable. It is
- 11:57Speaker 9: possible to do genocide. That's what Hitler realized.
- 12:05Speaker 2: I'm laughing, it's not funny, but it's so ridiculous. So
- 12:08Speaker 2: this is this mom, Donnie father, this is the guy
- 12:10Speaker 2: that raised him. This guy came to this country like
- 12:13Speaker 2: twenty seconds ago and now he's an expert in America
- 12:15Speaker 2: and Abraham Lincoln in the Civil War. And he's explaining
- 12:19Speaker 2: to the students it was Abraham Lincoln who was the
- 12:21Speaker 2: original Nazi. Abraham Lincoln was the inspiration for the Nazis.
- 12:27Speaker 2: This is what goes on in these universities, not just him.
- 12:30Speaker 2: You got all these professors teaching this crap the kids,
- 12:33Speaker 2: and they're all writing it down. Huh, Abraham Lincoln le Tree,
- 12:37Speaker 2: They're writing this. This is the kind of lunatics. Teaching
- 12:42Speaker 2: has been going on for like twenty thirty years in
- 12:45Speaker 2: our universities. So you've raised generations of socialist left wing kooks.
- 12:50Speaker 2: And this mom, Donnie comes from this guy. This was
- 12:55Speaker 2: his father and the mother's just as bad. Here's it
- 12:58Speaker 2: was more Cuomo yesterday.
- 13:00Speaker 11: You now get down to the last week. They're starting
- 13:03Speaker 11: to focus. They're starting to learn who Zoron really is,
- 13:10Speaker 11: and what he has said, and what he stands for
- 13:13Speaker 11: and what the Democratic Socialist agenda is all about.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Yeah, so I don't know. I don't know. These polls
- 13:19Speaker 2: are all just the worst polls, junk polls, not great polls. Hey,
- 13:23Speaker 2: New Jersey. By the way, you are seeing, well, Chitaerelli
- 13:29Speaker 2: was behind, he caught up. It's pretty much tied in
- 13:32Speaker 2: all the polls. There may be some polling data that
- 13:35Speaker 2: now show's Chittarelly with a slight lead. Also, you got
- 13:38Speaker 2: to bear in mind this is important. Republicans always under
- 13:42Speaker 2: poll in New Jersey. Republicans under poll in New Jersey.
- 13:47Speaker 2: Speaking at Chittarelli, Sean Hannity doing a special show tonight
- 13:51Speaker 2: on Fox News at nine o'clock. It'll be a town
- 13:54Speaker 2: hall with Jack Chitarelly tonight at nine on Hannity. That's
- 14:00Speaker 2: millions of people that should help them. Hereschdarelli.
- 14:03Speaker 7: Her entire campaign is based on a stack of lies
- 14:06Speaker 7: about me, her disdain for the president, and she can
- 14:09Speaker 7: fly a helicopter none of which is going to fix
- 14:12Speaker 7: New Jersey.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Yeah, now, President Trump pointing out she's a terrible candidate.
- 14:18Speaker 2: She is running these commercials about you know, I was
- 14:20Speaker 2: a helicopter pilot in the Navy. I flew helicopters in
- 14:25Speaker 2: the Navy as a Navy helicopter pilot. So I've been
- 14:29Speaker 2: asking all these Navy pilots about all this, and they
- 14:32Speaker 2: keep telling me she probably wasn't very good if she
- 14:35Speaker 2: was just flying helicopters. Apparently, when you go into the
- 14:39Speaker 2: Navy to be a pilot, if you're any good, you're
- 14:41Speaker 2: flying a jet. You're flying the real stuff. The helicopter
- 14:44Speaker 2: is the easiest, simplest thing. If after her entire Navy career,
- 14:48Speaker 2: all she ever flew was a helicopter, pilots tell me
- 14:50Speaker 2: she's not that good a pilot if she did that.
- 14:52Speaker 2: And then she had a problem with her graduation, some
- 14:56Speaker 2: sort of scandal there. So she's a mess of a candidate.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Left kooky. You've had enough of these left wing idiot governors.
- 15:04Speaker 2: So anyway, hey, we'll take some calls. Next. Eight hundred
- 15:08Speaker 2: three to two one zero seven ten is the number
- 15:11Speaker 2: eight hundred three two one zero seven ten in Mark
- 15:16Speaker 2: on demand by setting a presead for his podcast on
- 15:19Speaker 2: the iHeartRadio app.
- 15:21Speaker 6: Now back to Mark Simone on wor.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Bill Lafayette,
- 15:29Speaker 2: New Jersey. Bill, how you doing.
- 15:32Speaker 5: Good? Good? Thank you.
- 15:34Speaker 12: A recent FBI report between January twentieth and now, they
- 15:39Speaker 12: arrested twenty eight thousand violent criminals involving human trafficking, child's
- 15:45Speaker 12: youth sentinel. And this senator from California has the audacity
- 15:51Speaker 12: to say that the deployment of the National Guard by
- 15:54Speaker 12: Trump is illegal. Did the Democrats like crime? Do they
- 15:59Speaker 12: like vet?
- 16:00Speaker 2: You haven't noticed? Yeah, they love criminals. Well, they love them.
- 16:02Speaker 2: They're no bail, no jail, defund ice is defund the police. Yes,
- 16:07Speaker 2: they seem to love crime. They see them as victims.
- 16:11Speaker 2: It's your fault, they're a criminal. Let's go to Michael
- 16:14Speaker 2: and Tribeca. Michael, how you doing Yes.
- 16:17Speaker 3: Mark, good morning. I voted for Sleetwood because I've always
- 16:21Speaker 3: liked him. I think he's original, authentic, and I couldn't
- 16:25Speaker 3: vote for Cuomo for every reason that he did no
- 16:29Speaker 3: good on the city. I mean letting people out of
- 16:31Speaker 3: jails and COVID and the congestion, pricing thing and all
- 16:36Speaker 3: the rest of it. So my wife says, why don't
- 16:39Speaker 3: you go with Cloma. I says, well, let the Democrats
- 16:41Speaker 3: just waddle in their garbage for a couple of years.
- 16:44Speaker 2: If this is what yeah, I understand, I understand. You know,
- 16:48Speaker 2: this is all the fault of these big donors. They
- 16:50Speaker 2: screw up every election, the big, big, big money donors,
- 16:53Speaker 2: the zillionaires. They're brilliant at what they do. It's absolute
- 16:57Speaker 2: idiots when it comes to politics. I don't know anything.
- 17:00Speaker 2: In the very beginning, they should have chased Cuomo out
- 17:02Speaker 2: of the race. They should have just chased him out,
- 17:06Speaker 2: bribed him out. He's probably more bribeable than anybody would
- 17:08Speaker 2: bribe him out of the race, and then you'd have
- 17:10Speaker 2: Curtis versus Mom Donnie might have had a chance. The
- 17:14Speaker 2: think with Curtis is he's real, he's authentic. He's the
- 17:16Speaker 2: best guy in the race. He's the best crime fighter
- 17:18Speaker 2: in the race. The problem with this Cuomo, Mom Donnie,
- 17:21Speaker 2: it's like the big donor's telling you, here's two guys
- 17:24Speaker 2: who absolutely stink, but this one's a little worse. This
- 17:29Speaker 2: guy's awful, but he's not quite as bad. As the
- 17:32Speaker 2: other that's a ridiculous position to put voters in. Let's
- 17:35Speaker 2: go to Richard and Hackensack. Richard, how you doing Mark?
- 17:39Speaker 5: You're a harp percent right with what you just said.
- 17:42Speaker 5: I'm thinking you're a good friend to Sean Hackney and
- 17:44Speaker 5: a little bit of constructive criticism when he speaks. He's
- 17:49Speaker 5: got this.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Well, you know, the guy's been like the number one
- 17:52Speaker 2: television show for like thirty years. But he was just
- 17:54Speaker 2: saying to me the other day, could you find an
- 17:55Speaker 2: amateur from Hackensack that give me a consultant? But you
- 18:01Speaker 2: don't sound like a professional.
- 18:03Speaker 5: But you don't like what you hear.
- 18:05Speaker 2: No, no, where do you work professionally in broadcasting?
- 18:08Speaker 5: I have Oh that that's not me. That's not me.
- 18:11Speaker 2: What do you do for a living? What do you
- 18:13Speaker 2: do for a living? What do you do for a living?
- 18:15Speaker 5: I'm retiring?
- 18:16Speaker 2: What did you do for him?
- 18:17Speaker 8: Retired?
- 18:17Speaker 2: What did you do?
- 18:18Speaker 5: Chiropractic?
- 18:19Speaker 2: The chiropractor? But if a Sean said, let me give
- 18:23Speaker 2: you some advice on how to do chiropractory, would you
- 18:26Speaker 2: listen to him?
- 18:28Speaker 3: Oh?
- 18:28Speaker 5: He was actually a friend of a good friend of
- 18:30Speaker 5: mine who was a car Oh.
- 18:31Speaker 2: There you go. He's a friend of a friend of
- 18:32Speaker 2: a friend. Every every amateur has got advice.
- 18:37Speaker 5: You know.
- 18:38Speaker 2: That's like if I see Tom Brady, I could say
- 18:40Speaker 2: to him, you know, you ought to put your hand
- 18:42Speaker 2: here on the ball. Maybe hold the ball like this,
- 18:45Speaker 2: This would be better for you. Let's go to Rich
- 18:47Speaker 2: and Myrtle Beach. Rich, how you doing?
- 18:50Speaker 8: Who is that Alan Harper from three and two and
- 18:52Speaker 8: a half? Men? You were just talking to chiropractice. You know,
- 18:58Speaker 8: it's a sad day down here. Mark my pool dry
- 19:00Speaker 8: all the way to sixty four degrees with the cold
- 19:01Speaker 8: weather we've been having, so it's a very sad in
- 19:03Speaker 8: Myrtle Beach.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:05Speaker 8: I saw the other night the Post reported on their
- 19:08Speaker 8: Facebook page or their website did they had traced thirty
- 19:10Speaker 8: money to Mam Donnie. Yet I hear nobody in the
- 19:12Speaker 8: news talking about this. Is this going to be some
- 19:15Speaker 8: big Well.
- 19:15Speaker 2: We've been talking about that last week before, well the
- 19:18Speaker 2: last few days. The problem is it's a small amount.
- 19:20Speaker 2: So far, they're looking for more. There have been two
- 19:23Speaker 2: criminal referrals to the Justice Department based on a coupley setonate.
- 19:27Speaker 2: But again there's small donations. I think it was thirteen
- 19:30Speaker 2: thousand altogether. Mam Donnie has returned about six seven thousand
- 19:35Speaker 2: of it. The rest hasn't been returned. He's disputing some
- 19:38Speaker 2: of it, saying they're American citizens, just happened to be
- 19:41Speaker 2: in a foreign country at the moment. But there's more common,
- 19:45Speaker 2: there's more common, there's more money that will be found. Hey, oh,
- 19:48Speaker 2: let's go to Vincent in Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 19:52Speaker 13: Good morning, Mark, Good morning matter Mark. I just came
- 19:55Speaker 13: back from getting my annual flu shot. And I suggest,
- 20:00Speaker 13: as all the guilt written white liberals, especially in Brooklyn Heights,
- 20:05Speaker 13: Park Slope, the Upper West Side, Carrel Gardens, all the
- 20:09Speaker 13: Tony neighborhoods in New York where it really cost a
- 20:13Speaker 13: lot of money to hold the mortgage, I suggest you
- 20:16Speaker 13: go get a common sense shot. Because when Mendami says
- 20:21Speaker 13: he wants to raise taxes in all the white neighborhoods,
- 20:26Speaker 13: don't count him out. Because Sean was arguing with somebody
- 20:30Speaker 13: yesterday and the guy was saying, no, he can't do it.
- 20:34Speaker 10: Well, Katy Hope of Finagel the laws so that a
- 20:39Speaker 10: case that expired on Trump went past the statute of limitations,
- 20:45Speaker 10: they brought it back they said this judge, and Garren
- 20:49Speaker 10: said that Trump's properties were only worth eighteen million. I
- 20:54Speaker 10: won't put anything past the corrupt New York State legislature
- 20:59Speaker 10: and these judges. Yeah, obstensibly he can't do it, but
- 21:04Speaker 10: given the corrupt judicial system, I won't put anything past
- 21:09Speaker 10: these people. So go out and get a common sense
- 21:13Speaker 10: shot and do not vote for Mondami. Please go get it.
- 21:19Speaker 2: We agree, Vincent, we gotta go because we gotta do
- 21:21Speaker 2: the news. Excellent call when we come back. Jimmy Fayler
- 21:23Speaker 2: will be with us next on seven to ten wr
- 21:27Speaker 2: minxter near your Mark Simone.
- 21:33Speaker 10: Well.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Jimmy Fayler, the great comedian, top show host. You know,
- 21:36Speaker 2: he's got a big hit show now on WOR every
- 21:39Speaker 2: night at nine o'clock, nine to midnight. You got to
- 21:42Speaker 2: listen to Jimmy Fayler tonight and every weeknight, and then
- 21:45Speaker 2: on Fox he does the best late night show Saturday
- 21:48Speaker 2: nights at ten o'clock. And it's great to have him
- 21:51Speaker 2: back with us. Jimmy Fayla, how you doing?
- 21:54Speaker 6: I'm doing?
- 21:55Speaker 5: Man?
- 21:56Speaker 8: What do we got?
- 21:57Speaker 6: Four days encounting till mom, Donnie?
- 21:59Speaker 10: Five days?
- 21:59Speaker 6: Is that you telling me?
- 22:01Speaker 2: Yeah? Uh, this is all the fault of the big
- 22:04Speaker 2: donors they chase, they're trying to chase Curtis at and
- 22:07Speaker 2: they tell us our choices between the worst guy in
- 22:10Speaker 2: the whole world and a really bad guy, Cuomo. What
- 22:13Speaker 2: kind of choice is that?
- 22:15Speaker 6: Amen? You know, I have Curtis on Fox New Saturday
- 22:18Speaker 6: Night this weekend. I'm trying to give him one more
- 22:20Speaker 6: push because again, the idea that the Republican Party went
- 22:24Speaker 6: from fight fight, fight to surrender surrender surrenders never gonna
- 22:27Speaker 6: sit right with me. It's like it's never gonna sit right,
- 22:30Speaker 6: and like our job is not to get Cuomo back
- 22:33Speaker 6: in there, you know. So I'm with you, man, None
- 22:36Speaker 6: of this makes sense what I'm hoping. Have you been
- 22:39Speaker 6: following that story where they manipulated the gambling lines a
- 22:43Speaker 6: little bit and a lot of them Donnie supporters might
- 22:45Speaker 6: have thrown money in there to look like he's a
- 22:47Speaker 6: better shot than he is. I mean, that's that's kind
- 22:49Speaker 6: of what I'm rooting for at this point. And to
- 22:53Speaker 6: be clear, like I grew up around gambling, man, like
- 22:56Speaker 6: I was. You know, I paid and didn't pay my
- 22:58Speaker 6: rent from betting the NFL in my twenties, so I
- 23:02Speaker 6: know gam but I just I don't know if that's
- 23:03Speaker 6: a likely scenario either. You know, this is all nuts?
- 23:06Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. One thing about those poly markets betting markets.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Whoever's got the most money in places, the biggest bet
- 23:12Speaker 2: moves the odds the most. So and they say, with
- 23:14Speaker 2: that poly market, there's like four major betters that basically
- 23:17Speaker 2: set the odds.
- 23:17Speaker 6: So this isn't like. This isn't like when an NBA
- 23:21Speaker 6: coach is fixing a poker game.
- 23:23Speaker 5: Yeah, this is.
- 23:25Speaker 6: It's not like an X ray vision bet. It's just
- 23:27Speaker 6: people throwing a lot of money. But you can Yeah,
- 23:30Speaker 6: you can bluff, I guess, is what I'm trying to say.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Yeah, so what do you think? It doesn't look good
- 23:37Speaker 2: for a I mean, we hope Curtsey wins, but it
- 23:39Speaker 2: doesn't look good for Cuomo, does it. It looks like every
- 23:41Speaker 2: police ten points behind, twenty points behind.
- 23:44Speaker 6: No. And you know what else is like when you're
- 23:45Speaker 6: here Cuomo say things like oh if I don't win,
- 23:47Speaker 6: I'm moving to Florida. You really don't want the candidate
- 23:51Speaker 6: who's already halfway out the door. You know, as a
- 23:54Speaker 6: gambling man, it's like, think about death New York. If
- 23:58Speaker 6: the Yankees are playing in a game set of and
- 24:00Speaker 6: you're interviewing them before the game and they're already looking
- 24:03Speaker 6: at luxury resorts in the Caribbean. This is not a
- 24:07Speaker 6: team that's fighting to advance to the next round. You know,
- 24:11Speaker 6: once that swim up bar is on the team's mind,
- 24:15Speaker 6: generally gonna kind of, you know, go halfway on the field.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Hey, speaking to us. That turns out to be a
- 24:21Speaker 2: pretty good World Series, right, It has.
- 24:24Speaker 6: Been great, you know, as a Yankee fan, obviously, you know,
- 24:30Speaker 6: I don't really care about either team so much as
- 24:33Speaker 6: I was convincing myself the roof of the Dodgers because
- 24:35Speaker 6: I'm like, all right, well, at least it's America, and
- 24:37Speaker 6: I get the root for an American team over Canada.
- 24:39Speaker 6: But then you turn on the game and everybody playing
- 24:41Speaker 6: for the Blue Jays is from America.
- 24:43Speaker 3: You know.
- 24:44Speaker 6: It's not like they're a bunch of Canucks getting paid
- 24:46Speaker 6: in maple syrup and saying he and calling the umpa hoser.
- 24:49Speaker 6: So it's just like if you if you love baseball, though,
- 24:53Speaker 6: you just like the bat. It's been a great series.
- 24:56Speaker 6: And my concern is after watching the last two nights,
- 24:59Speaker 6: maybe joey Otani has money on the Blue Ship. I
- 25:02Speaker 6: don't remember. He was a rumored gambler for a while there.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Maybe Yeah, Hey, CBS, they're firing everybody. They just got
- 25:12Speaker 2: rid of the Saturday Morning Show. Their word was there.
- 25:15Speaker 2: What they want? Brett Behar, He's under contract that you
- 25:17Speaker 2: have the best late night show on television. I think
- 25:21Speaker 2: they're going to be coming after you pretty soon. Don't
- 25:23Speaker 2: you think.
- 25:25Speaker 6: They ain't touching me? Man? They want like adults. Okay,
- 25:29Speaker 6: like Brett Bear hosts special report. My show is special
- 25:33Speaker 6: at okay time. But it's not the way you rehabilitate
- 25:37Speaker 6: the image of a news room, you know.
- 25:40Speaker 5: There, you know, as you.
- 25:41Speaker 6: Know, CBS probably stood for constant BS the last couple
- 25:45Speaker 6: of years at Trump, and they need to get away
- 25:48Speaker 6: from that. I don't know that I'm the answer with
- 25:50Speaker 6: my rhinestone jackets, but I love CBS and I want
- 25:55Speaker 6: them to do good. You know, I grew up watching
- 25:57Speaker 6: Charles Osgood on Sunday Morning, you know, him and his boats,
- 26:00Speaker 6: And obviously I was a letterman guy and I was
- 26:03Speaker 6: you know, big fantasy vs. So the fact that they're
- 26:05Speaker 6: going through this is crazy. But they did bring it
- 26:08Speaker 6: on themselves. And did you see how they're laying off
- 26:10Speaker 6: the whole racism department. Basically what it is is it's
- 26:17Speaker 6: like you know, they it was the Department of They
- 26:20Speaker 6: were calling it like diversity and every intolerance and everything else.
- 26:23Speaker 6: But you know that's the in the modern news era,
- 26:26Speaker 6: that's just your job is to tell us why it's racist.
- 26:29Speaker 6: You know, hey, Trump, Trump's giving away puppies. Well, you
- 26:32Speaker 6: know Hitler had a dog. What what are these people doing?
- 26:36Speaker 6: So that's gonna help them just the same, like forget
- 26:39Speaker 6: programming if they just get rid of the people that
- 26:42Speaker 6: are peddling the fake grievances, because you know, half the
- 26:45Speaker 6: people they just fired probably weren't that stupid no Kings thing,
- 26:49Speaker 6: don't you think?
- 26:50Speaker 5: Yes?
- 26:51Speaker 6: And that's pretend that if you're protesting, pretending Mark, this
- 26:56Speaker 6: would be like if you and I had a protest
- 26:58Speaker 6: called no Sydney Sweeney, We're not going to sleep with
- 27:01Speaker 6: Sidney Sweeney, join us on the quad. She's a news slash.
- 27:05Speaker 6: It wasn't an option for us, So why did we
- 27:07Speaker 6: need the protest? It's the point.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Yeah, So, but these Democrats are so angry about everything,
- 27:15Speaker 2: like Trump building a ballroom. It looks spectacular. How could
- 27:18Speaker 2: you get mad about a ballroom.
- 27:21Speaker 6: Yeah, that one I love, knowing full well they're all
- 27:25Speaker 6: going to use it. But I think that is the
- 27:26Speaker 6: reason they're mad is that it is one hundred and
- 27:28Speaker 6: twenty three years old in the East Wing, which is
- 27:31Speaker 6: the same age as the No Kings protesters. So it's
- 27:34Speaker 6: like they feel a loyalty. It's like, if you don't
- 27:36Speaker 6: protect the one one hundred and twenty three year old,
- 27:38Speaker 6: you're not protecting any of them. I guess, I guess
- 27:42Speaker 6: the answer. But I think the bigger point is all
- 27:44Speaker 6: jokes aside as you know, they don't mean it. They're
- 27:47Speaker 6: just pretending to be mad about everything. Dana Perino had
- 27:50Speaker 6: a good line last week. She's saying, like, you know,
- 27:52Speaker 6: I wish Democrats understood they don't have to swing it
- 27:55Speaker 6: every pitch, because if you swing at every pitch, it's
- 27:58Speaker 6: inevitable that you wind up looking bad. Like if you're
- 28:01Speaker 6: protesting a ballroom, nobody cares about the ballroom and the
- 28:05Speaker 6: donors are paying for it. You won't ever get anything
- 28:08Speaker 6: for free out of the In the White House, the
- 28:11Speaker 6: only thing someone ever got for free was a cigar,
- 28:13Speaker 6: and that was an intern in Bill Clinton. And that's
- 28:16Speaker 6: another story.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and that was probably a gift from a donor
- 28:19Speaker 2: the cigars. So go, hey, you know your comedian, you
- 28:25Speaker 2: do political stuff. I mean, if somebody's watching on TV,
- 28:28Speaker 2: you'll smiling, laughing, you look like you're having fun. You'll
- 28:31Speaker 2: watch these left wing comedians. He's Coldbert type, these Kimmel
- 28:34Speaker 2: type sting they look so like they're gonna choke it anymody.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Why are they so angry all the time?
- 28:39Speaker 6: I know, because if I was making that kind of money,
- 28:42Speaker 6: I mean, if you think I smile a lot, now
- 28:45Speaker 6: give me even Colbart's valerie, give me, give me Jimmy
- 28:50Speaker 6: Kimmel's gig where he hosts the Oscars and his only
- 28:53Speaker 6: real job is to make sure Will Smith doesn't beat
- 28:56Speaker 6: up Chris Rock, and he failed at that too. But
- 28:59Speaker 6: you know, by the way, when Will Smith hit Chris
- 29:01Speaker 6: Rock at the Oscars, that was the only time liberals
- 29:04Speaker 6: acknowledged black on black cron So.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Let's not forget me.
- 29:08Speaker 6: Let's not forget the significance of that moment. Mark, I'm
- 29:12Speaker 6: not bloss over it, But yeah, lighting up. Your comedians
- 29:15Speaker 6: are supposed to be there to give the world a
- 29:16Speaker 6: good time. And if you don't look happy, they're not
- 29:19Speaker 6: going to be happy. So I'm with you on that one.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Everybody I watched Jimmy Pail has got the best late
- 29:25Speaker 2: night show. Its Saturday nights at ten o'clock. Hey, I've
- 29:28Speaker 2: also got to thank you. You were on Cudlow I
- 29:30Speaker 2: think was last week I was watching. You gave me
- 29:32Speaker 2: a great shout out on the show. That was very
- 29:34Speaker 2: nice to you.
- 29:34Speaker 6: Damn right, I did you mark the moone man. We're
- 29:37Speaker 6: a dream team. And you know, Coulo said to me
- 29:39Speaker 6: afterwards really quick, I go, uh, he thanked me for
- 29:41Speaker 6: being on the show because I was talking about gambling.
- 29:43Speaker 6: And he goes, you know, he's like, I've been to
- 29:47Speaker 6: all types of addictions.
- 29:48Speaker 3: You know.
- 29:48Speaker 6: I Cudlow had a drug addiction. He's substant to these addictions.
- 29:51Speaker 6: He goes, but I've never heard an addict talk about
- 29:53Speaker 6: their vice with the level of depth that you did.
- 29:56Speaker 6: And I go, Larry, I wasn't a gambling I didn't
- 29:59Speaker 6: go to ga gamble anonymous. He goes, oh, well, maybe
- 30:01Speaker 6: you should. Then he's like, if you know that much
- 30:06Speaker 6: about it, you probably should go.
- 30:07Speaker 2: I was like, all right, I'll work on it. Well,
- 30:09Speaker 2: I think you're okay, But everybody watch Jimmy Philis. It's
- 30:13Speaker 2: a great late night show Saturday's at ten o'clock and
- 30:16Speaker 2: the best radio show news show here. It's on every
- 30:20Speaker 2: night nine to midnight. Who do you have tonight on
- 30:22Speaker 2: the show?
- 30:23Speaker 6: Oh, it's all going down tonight. You got Erica Donald's
- 30:27Speaker 6: and Byron Donalds.
- 30:28Speaker 2: He's going to be like Governor Florida. She's the first.
- 30:30Speaker 6: Lady Kennedy's going to be there as well. And there
- 30:34Speaker 6: three have the Patriot Awards coming up next week, so
- 30:36Speaker 6: we've got to do a big promo for that. So
- 30:38Speaker 6: they're probably gonna send half the network in to call
- 30:41Speaker 6: me names for twenty minutes now that.
- 30:43Speaker 2: Paty's a surprise. The door Go Ahead. Patriot Awards. That's
- 30:46Speaker 2: at the Tillas Center.
- 30:48Speaker 6: Yes, that's a week from today at Long Island University.
- 30:52Speaker 6: And if they want those tickets, it's Foxnation dot Com
- 30:55Speaker 6: slash Patriot Awards. Everybody gets in a tux. It's the
- 30:59Speaker 6: Oscars for people who deserve them. Yeah, like these guys
- 31:02Speaker 6: didn't make thirty million dollars to pretend they were in
- 31:04Speaker 6: the military. It's military people, it's cops, it's first responders.
- 31:08Speaker 6: So I actually love the Patriot Awards, because it's like,
- 31:10Speaker 6: what if you actually gave the oscars to the people
- 31:12Speaker 6: who did the thing instead of doing cocaine and pretending
- 31:15Speaker 6: to do the thing.
- 31:16Speaker 2: You know, Yeah, and everybody if you go there, people
- 31:18Speaker 2: loved it. Least year was you and Sean Hannity and
- 31:20Speaker 2: all the great stars of Fox all at one night.
- 31:24Speaker 2: And where do you get the tickets?
- 31:26Speaker 6: It's Fox Nation dot com slash Patriot Awards. They want
- 31:30Speaker 6: to come hang on Strong Island, Nassau County.
- 31:33Speaker 2: My hood. I'll be there.
- 31:35Speaker 6: My high school graduation was in that auditorium, so this
- 31:38Speaker 6: will be my first time there.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Sober wow.
- 31:40Speaker 6: I'm looking forward to it.
- 31:41Speaker 2: Yeah, it's the Tilli Center. Get the tickets and watch
- 31:44Speaker 2: Jimmy Faylo Saturday nights ten o'clock and make sure you
- 31:46Speaker 2: listen to his radio show tonight every weeknight nine to midnight.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Jimmy fayl is on w R. Jimmy Fayler, thanks for
- 31:53Speaker 2: being with us.
- 31:54Speaker 6: Now you're the man, Marcos right, take care.
- 31:57Speaker 2: Take care. It's a great show tonight at nine on SEVENR.
- 32:01Speaker 6: It's the Mark Simon Show on seven ten WR.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Hey, So actually I'm taking tomorrow off a one day vacation.
- 32:12Speaker 2: I'll be back on Monday, so hopefully it will be
- 32:18Speaker 2: the day before the election. Don't forget if you're a
- 32:24Speaker 2: podcast listener, which is a good thing to be because
- 32:28Speaker 2: you can hear the show anytime you want, day or night,
- 32:30Speaker 2: or if you missed the show, missed the hour. But
- 32:32Speaker 2: if you're a podcast listener, there's a bonus segment on
- 32:35Speaker 2: the weekends, like an extra show that wasn't on the air.
- 32:38Speaker 2: If you're a podcast listener, you can get the podcast
- 32:40Speaker 2: any place you get podcasts. But I'll be back Monday
- 32:43Speaker 2: and i'll talk to you then ten to noon. Have
- 32:45Speaker 2: a great weekend. Seven to ten wo
