- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Heech.
- 0:02Speaker 3: Yeah, bro, good morning, welcome to Thursday, just after six o'clock.
- 0:06Speaker 4: Thank you for being here.
- 0:07Speaker 3: Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 0:09Speaker 5: This is gonna blow a lot of your minds, but
- 0:11Speaker 5: specifically Kevin's. Chris Pratt told the Today Show that his
- 0:15Speaker 5: kids have never watched a movie.
- 0:17Speaker 6: He and his wife have a five.
- 0:19Speaker 5: Year old, three year old, and one year old, and
- 0:21Speaker 5: he claims that all three kids have not watched a
- 0:23Speaker 5: single movie. And the reason, he said, is because his wife,
- 0:26Speaker 5: Catherine is very old school when it comes to screens
- 0:28Speaker 5: and technology, so she hasn't allowed them to watch a
- 0:31Speaker 5: movie yet. Obviously, this all came about because he is
- 0:34Speaker 5: an actor, and everybody was wondering if his kids, you know,
- 0:37Speaker 5: think he's pretty cool because of that, and they just
- 0:39Speaker 5: have no idea what he does apparently, and have no
- 0:41Speaker 5: idea that movies even exist.
- 0:43Speaker 3: I mean, good for them keeping them off the screens.
- 0:44Speaker 3: It's harder than you think, but just a movie. I
- 0:47Speaker 3: agree with you, I mean, especially the legos.
- 0:51Speaker 5: I knew this would upset you, specifically, Kevin. The Davidson
- 0:55Speaker 5: County Circuit Clerk Court clerk is warning the public about
- 0:58Speaker 5: Arise and scam emails and text messages. I got one
- 1:01Speaker 5: of these text messages actually yesterday. So the scam claims
- 1:05Speaker 5: that you have unpaid parking or toll violations.
- 1:09Speaker 6: It's a whole thing.
- 1:10Speaker 5: I'll actually post the one that was sent to me,
- 1:13Speaker 5: and it was actually one that was sent to me
- 1:14Speaker 5: from New Jersey because I still have a New Jersey
- 1:16Speaker 5: phone number and area code. So official said that the
- 1:19Speaker 5: message often includes links or QR codes that direct users
- 1:23Speaker 5: to fake websites that will collect.
- 1:25Speaker 6: Your personal or financial information.
- 1:27Speaker 5: The office does not contact defendants by text or email
- 1:31Speaker 5: about past you tickets, so they're urging you do not
- 1:35Speaker 5: click the links, scan the codes, or respond to any
- 1:38Speaker 5: suspicious messages like this. Like I said, I will post
- 1:41Speaker 5: on one oh seven five the River's Instagram account the
- 1:43Speaker 5: one that I received, so you can see what we're
- 1:45Speaker 5: talking about. It's like a whole mockup of a fake
- 1:49Speaker 5: letter essentially. It's pretty wild, honestly, pretty wild. So just
- 1:53Speaker 5: be careful, don't give your information to anybody that you
- 1:55Speaker 5: obviously do not know.
- 1:57Speaker 6: And Lay's has.
- 1:58Speaker 5: Announced three limited day flavors for the World Cup, so
- 2:02Speaker 5: they're going to have a new wavy French onion soup flavor,
- 2:05Speaker 5: a Brazilian style garlic sauce, and the return of the
- 2:08Speaker 5: Argentinian style steak with Jimmy Churry. That was previously a
- 2:12Speaker 5: collab that they did with Messi that obviously went very well,
- 2:16Speaker 5: so they're bringing it back. Rumors say that we're going
- 2:18Speaker 5: to start to see them mid to late April in
- 2:20Speaker 5: all of your favorite grocery stores. I'm Ricky Santez and
- 2:23Speaker 5: those are the three things you need to know.
- 2:24Speaker 4: Thank you so much, Ricky. Let's play justin Bieber.
- 2:26Speaker 3: We do have more John mulaney tickets on the way.
- 2:28Speaker 3: John mullany is going to be it's a rhyman. We've
- 2:30Speaker 3: had them all week for the first caller of the day.
- 2:33Speaker 3: If you want them, they are less than ten minutes away.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Hang on, Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning
- 2:39Speaker 1: on seven.
- 2:41Speaker 3: The River, Haitie Crawford is on the line. Katie and Nashville.
- 2:44Speaker 4: What's going on? Katie? Tell us everything?
- 2:46Speaker 7: Hey, just heading into work this morning.
- 2:48Speaker 6: Do you like that Kevin used your full government name.
- 2:52Speaker 8: He said your name.
- 2:53Speaker 5: I'm not gonna lie I get in a wat Okay,
- 2:56Speaker 5: you're one of those people because there are certain people
- 2:57Speaker 5: where you got to say their full name, Like I
- 2:59Speaker 5: kind of feel.
- 3:00Speaker 6: Like Kevin's that person sometimes, man.
- 3:02Speaker 5: Like I gotta say Kevin Manou.
- 3:05Speaker 3: And Katie Katie, Yeah, flows off the tongue. It's got
- 3:09Speaker 3: that alliteration thing going on.
- 3:10Speaker 8: It does like a really fancy wine. What are you drinking, Katie?
- 3:14Speaker 4: I think you're thinking of Kim Crawford.
- 3:16Speaker 8: Yeah, maybe that's.
- 3:18Speaker 6: Why, Katie. What do you do for work?
- 3:21Speaker 7: I'm an nurse.
- 3:23Speaker 6: We love our nurses.
- 3:24Speaker 5: You guys listen to us so early in the morning,
- 3:26Speaker 5: and we appreciate that more than you know.
- 3:28Speaker 3: We do have a lot of medical professionals at this
- 3:30Speaker 3: hour and a lot of teachers, which is great.
- 3:32Speaker 4: So shout out to all of y'all.
- 3:33Speaker 5: And you said that you love it. How long have
- 3:35Speaker 5: you been an ear nurse for? Because that's not an easy.
- 3:37Speaker 9: Job coming up on five years?
- 3:39Speaker 8: Wow, But for.
- 3:41Speaker 6: You, Katie.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Okay, I asked this question all the time when we
- 3:43Speaker 3: talk to people that work in the ear. Do you
- 3:45Speaker 3: see a spike in activity when there's a full moon?
- 3:47Speaker 9: Our psychiatric population increases exponentially?
- 3:52Speaker 10: What That's actually crazy, isn't it interesting?
- 3:55Speaker 2: Though?
- 3:55Speaker 6: Okay? Yeah, that's true.
- 3:57Speaker 5: Like I'm a little busy those nights, but at least
- 3:59Speaker 5: it's a I'm like, so fascinated.
- 4:02Speaker 6: By the correlation there.
- 4:03Speaker 5: There's gotta be papers that we could read on this,
- 4:05Speaker 5: but I feel like it would say a lot of
- 4:07Speaker 5: words that I don't understand.
- 4:08Speaker 6: Katie.
- 4:09Speaker 5: I've heard something about like the fluids and the body.
- 4:12Speaker 3: Yes, that's what I've heard, because you know, the moon
- 4:15Speaker 3: controls the waves and all the water on Earth and sea.
- 4:17Speaker 6: Now, you guys, sound kookie.
- 4:18Speaker 3: We have so much water in our bodies that we
- 4:20Speaker 3: are affected by the moon cycles.
- 4:22Speaker 5: No, I mean, I do believe that we are affected
- 4:24Speaker 5: by the moon cycles to a degree. But I feel
- 4:25Speaker 5: like the more you talk about it, the crazier.
- 4:27Speaker 10: Yeah, you made me feel like I'm just hallucinated, Like
- 4:30Speaker 10: what world am I living?
- 4:31Speaker 8: Hand?
- 4:33Speaker 4: Katie knows, Katie knows, what's.
- 4:35Speaker 6: Up, Katie.
- 4:37Speaker 5: Congratulations, you're the first color of the day this morning
- 4:40Speaker 5: on one of seventy five the River.
- 4:42Speaker 6: You're getting to get to see.
- 4:43Speaker 5: John Mulaney at the Rheman on June thirteenth. Hopefully it's
- 4:46Speaker 5: not a full moon and the er can go.
- 4:48Speaker 6: He can deal without you for the night, Yes, they'll
- 4:52Speaker 6: have to.
- 4:54Speaker 5: Congratulations, Love and thank you for hanging out with us.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Awesome, Thank you so much.
- 4:58Speaker 6: Hang on the line.
- 4:59Speaker 3: It'll be a waning crescent phase moon on the night
- 5:02Speaker 3: of that show.
- 5:03Speaker 5: So what does that then mean, Kevin, that's fluid's in
- 5:05Speaker 5: our body.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Oh well, it's less than fifty percent illuminated. So I
- 5:08Speaker 3: think we're gonna be chill. I think that everybody's gonna
- 5:10Speaker 3: be nice and calm and ready to laugh about.
- 5:12Speaker 6: Astrology with Kevin Mano.
- 5:15Speaker 10: I literally feel like I'm on a different planet right now.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I definitely think we all got dumber here, but
- 5:20Speaker 3: we've got more than John Melandy tickets. It's the river,
- 5:25Speaker 3: It's a Thursday morning here. You know, we ever really
- 5:27Speaker 3: talked about It's been a full week. We haven't really
- 5:28Speaker 3: talked about it. Zach your trip to Ireland, buddy.
- 5:31Speaker 8: I went to.
- 5:31Speaker 10: Ireland like a couple of days right before Saint Patti's Day,
- 5:34Speaker 10: and when I tell you, it was the probably the
- 5:36Speaker 10: best daycashn I've ever been on.
- 5:38Speaker 8: Like, I want to move to Ireland now.
- 5:40Speaker 4: That's what everybody says. People really rave about Ireland. I've
- 5:43Speaker 4: never been.
- 5:43Speaker 8: It's really really cool.
- 5:45Speaker 6: Well, we're gonna hear all about it, right after this.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Song Ricky is Zach and Manno in the Morning on
- 5:53Speaker 1: the River.
- 5:54Speaker 5: Last week, Zach went to Ireland for a week. He
- 5:57Speaker 5: had the best time ever. He said prior to going
- 6:00Speaker 5: that this was like the trip of a lifetime and
- 6:02Speaker 5: we haven't had a chance to talk about it. I
- 6:03Speaker 5: want to seven five the River yet. So, Zach, I
- 6:05Speaker 5: want to know, tell us your favorite thing about Ireland,
- 6:09Speaker 5: and then tell us your least favorite thing about Ireland.
- 6:11Speaker 6: Because you just said that you could live there.
- 6:13Speaker 8: I could live there. I would say.
- 6:14Speaker 10: Favorite thing about Ireland is the people. They are so
- 6:18Speaker 10: nice and fun and very crude. You don't have to
- 6:22Speaker 10: like guess what they're thinking.
- 6:23Speaker 4: They will tell you.
- 6:24Speaker 10: I'm and I love that, Like be honest with me.
- 6:28Speaker 10: Just no, I hate that. Okay, that's fine, Like doesn't
- 6:30Speaker 10: hurt my feelings. That's why I said I could live there,
- 6:32Speaker 10: because I'm like, these are my people. They're really crude.
- 6:35Speaker 10: They curse a lot, and I get along great with them.
- 6:38Speaker 8: Okay.
- 6:39Speaker 6: And then what's your least favorite thing about Ireland?
- 6:41Speaker 8: I can't say the food.
- 6:42Speaker 10: Everything everything was fried. Like my stomach hurt after two days.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Yeah, you have a sensitive belly to begin with.
- 6:49Speaker 8: Yeah, I do.
- 6:50Speaker 4: He does, got tummy issues.
- 6:52Speaker 5: Just sensitive belly. Was very Dad Kevin and it made
- 6:55Speaker 5: me giggle. They say food, you wouldn't be able to
- 6:58Speaker 5: eat the food.
- 6:59Speaker 10: Yeah, unless you're at a really nice restaurant then they
- 7:02Speaker 10: have like good options. But like regular bar pub food,
- 7:05Speaker 10: everything is fried. And I'm like, girl, I can not
- 7:07Speaker 10: like here, very very true.
- 7:09Speaker 6: A lot of fried stuff. We got here.
- 7:11Speaker 8: They got chicken wings on every single menu.
- 7:14Speaker 5: Okay, yeah see we say, oh, would you like a
- 7:16Speaker 5: vegetable deep fried?
- 7:18Speaker 6: Yeah, anything that might be good for you, Let's fry
- 7:21Speaker 6: it real quick.
- 7:22Speaker 8: I will say.
- 7:23Speaker 10: The coolest part that we did is we didn't just
- 7:25Speaker 10: go to Dublin like the big city. We drove all
- 7:27Speaker 10: the way around the entire island and saw all of
- 7:30Speaker 10: the little.
- 7:30Speaker 8: Cities in between.
- 7:31Speaker 10: Two cool so we actually got to see like Irish
- 7:34Speaker 10: culture and all of the countryside. And they had a
- 7:37Speaker 10: sign on the side of the road that said hold
- 7:38Speaker 10: a baby lamb. So I said, skirt, stop the car.
- 7:41Speaker 10: We got a hold of baby lamb.
- 7:44Speaker 4: That skirt was.
- 7:45Speaker 6: The skirt was the you know, heart breaks, heart breaks.
- 7:48Speaker 10: So we got out and we held a baby lamb
- 7:50Speaker 10: on the side of the road. At these people's farm,
- 7:52Speaker 10: and then it was like five euro to be able
- 7:54Speaker 10: to feed it at a bottle of milk. So I
- 7:56Speaker 10: was like, yes, I want to feed this baby Lamb
- 7:58Speaker 10: a bottle of milk. That is pressure.
- 8:00Speaker 5: If you want to see a very adorable picture of
- 8:03Speaker 5: Zach very excited to hold.
- 8:04Speaker 6: This baby Lamb.
- 8:05Speaker 5: It is posted on one of seven five the River's
- 8:07Speaker 5: Instagram page. There's a few pictures from all of our
- 8:09Speaker 5: trips from spring break, but there is Zach just beaming
- 8:14Speaker 5: holding this little baby Lamb.
- 8:15Speaker 10: It was like three days into our eight day trip
- 8:18Speaker 10: and I was like, I'm good to go home now.
- 8:20Speaker 8: This was the highlight of.
- 8:22Speaker 3: See I saw the photo. I didn't realize you just
- 8:24Speaker 3: pulled over because you saw a sign. That's awesome. That's
- 8:26Speaker 3: a great memory for you hold a baby Lamb. I
- 8:28Speaker 3: was like, yes, I will. You guys drive on the
- 8:31Speaker 3: They drive on the other side of the road there,
- 8:33Speaker 3: right they do?
- 8:34Speaker 4: Am I so weird? Am I crazy?
- 8:35Speaker 3: And thinking this might be insane? Is the steering wheel
- 8:38Speaker 3: on the opposite side in the car?
- 8:40Speaker 8: Yes, it's on the right side of the car.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, I couldn't do that. That'd be that would
- 8:44Speaker 3: mess with my brain.
- 8:45Speaker 10: I drove for like ten minutes on a straight road
- 8:48Speaker 10: before I was like, I told my boyfriend.
- 8:49Speaker 8: I said, no, no, you have to get back to it.
- 8:51Speaker 8: I'm not. Yeah, you used.
- 8:52Speaker 6: To it after a while, do yeah, stressful?
- 8:55Speaker 3: Three things all right, just after seven o'clock. Thank you
- 8:59Speaker 3: so much for starting your day with us. So much
- 9:01Speaker 3: appreciated always. Ricky's got those three things.
- 9:04Speaker 5: TSA has warned that smaller airports could close completely if
- 9:08Speaker 5: the government shutdown continues. Over three hundred TSA agents have
- 9:11Speaker 5: quit since the beginning of the shutdown.
- 9:14Speaker 6: And call out rates have reached record highs, so a lot.
- 9:17Speaker 5: Of people are just calling out and not coming into work,
- 9:20Speaker 5: and it's impacting airport operations nationwide. There's issues happening all
- 9:24Speaker 5: over the country right now. TSA workers say that they're
- 9:27Speaker 5: facing financial hardships, including eviction notices and empty refrigerators because
- 9:31Speaker 5: they're working without pay right now, which is just a
- 9:34Speaker 5: wild concept to think about. This is now the third
- 9:37Speaker 5: time in six months that TSA workers have worked without
- 9:39Speaker 5: pay amid different federal government shutdowns, which is also just
- 9:43Speaker 5: insane to think about. And obviously the recovery for this
- 9:47Speaker 5: is gonna take some time, even after the shutdown ends.
- 9:50Speaker 5: So just keep that in mind when you are flying,
- 9:52Speaker 5: keep that in mind when you are going anywhere. Thank
- 9:55Speaker 5: the TSA agents for being there because obviously this is
- 9:58Speaker 5: a rough one for them right now. Obviously the lines
- 10:01Speaker 5: are getting crazy. It is not their fault, okay, so
- 10:04Speaker 5: be nice to the TSA agents. An historic East Nashville
- 10:08Speaker 5: landmark is going to be rebuilt after an unauthorized demolition.
- 10:12Speaker 6: This is huge. So there was a home that.
- 10:14Speaker 5: Previously held the Record Store or the Groove, and they
- 10:17Speaker 5: tore it down last month without a permit.
- 10:19Speaker 6: People in the city.
- 10:20Speaker 5: Made their voices, heard about their disapproval, and they wanted accountability, obviously,
- 10:24Speaker 5: because there are rules in place for a reason. So
- 10:27Speaker 5: commissioners voted to deny the property owner ross condits after
- 10:31Speaker 5: the fact permit.
- 10:32Speaker 6: Request after the fact crazy.
- 10:35Speaker 5: They said, the structure has to be rebuilt to match
- 10:38Speaker 5: the original at condits expense, which just makes sense. There
- 10:43Speaker 5: are rules in place for a reason, like I said,
- 10:45Speaker 5: and you decided not to follow the rules.
- 10:46Speaker 6: So it will be rebuilt.
- 10:48Speaker 5: And Reese's Peanut butter cups, they're making a toothpaste. They've
- 10:52Speaker 5: teamed up with the Australian company high smile and they've
- 10:56Speaker 5: created a peanut butter cup flavored toothpaste.
- 10:58Speaker 4: Are going to eat it?
- 11:00Speaker 6: Limited edition?
- 11:02Speaker 1: Uh.
- 11:02Speaker 5: They promised it tastes just like the candy, which is
- 11:05Speaker 5: a wild concept to think about. The bad news or
- 11:08Speaker 5: maybe good news, depending on how you're feeling about this,
- 11:10Speaker 5: is that it's only sold in Australia and New Zealand
- 11:12Speaker 5: right now.
- 11:13Speaker 6: Four now.
- 11:14Speaker 5: If people love it enough, there's a chance they open
- 11:16Speaker 5: it up to other places. There's a chance that you
- 11:18Speaker 5: could brush your teeth with peanut butter cup flavored toothpaste.
- 11:22Speaker 6: That just seems like the opposite of what you want
- 11:24Speaker 6: to do.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Is it safe to eat? Because I want to eat it?
- 11:27Speaker 5: I mean toothpaste should be safe to eat to a degree.
- 11:31Speaker 6: Kevin, you're putting it in your mouth.
- 11:33Speaker 4: Yeah, you're right.
- 11:34Speaker 5: I'm Ricky Sanchez. And those are the three things you
- 11:36Speaker 5: need to know. The fourth thing you need to know
- 11:38Speaker 5: is please don't eat your toothpaste.
- 11:39Speaker 4: My son swallows. I think his two pops.
- 11:42Speaker 6: Oh my god.
- 11:42Speaker 4: I know it's a problem. We're working on it. There's
- 11:45Speaker 4: Steve mccraye. We're gonna learn together. After this. It's for
- 11:48Speaker 4: Zax Facts. Next on the River.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Class is in sessions sax facts on one.
- 11:56Speaker 10: Did you guys know that reindeer eyeballs turn blue in
- 11:58Speaker 10: the winter to help them at a lower light level.
- 12:01Speaker 10: They're golden colored in the summer, but during the winter
- 12:04Speaker 10: they turn blue so they can see better at lower
- 12:06Speaker 10: light levels because it's not a sunny outside.
- 12:07Speaker 3: I'm surprised that hasn't been worked into any sort of
- 12:10Speaker 3: like Rudolph stories. If he's got this big red nose
- 12:12Speaker 3: in these blue eyes.
- 12:13Speaker 8: Wouldn't that be crazy?
- 12:14Speaker 10: And apparently no other mammals are known to have this
- 12:17Speaker 10: ability to change the color of their eyes so that
- 12:19Speaker 10: they can see better.
- 12:20Speaker 8: WHOA, I know.
- 12:21Speaker 10: This is how they get all the presents to your houses.
- 12:23Speaker 10: The reindeer can see better.
- 12:24Speaker 5: And there's your fact of the day, brought to you
- 12:26Speaker 5: by Mark Saint Real Estate.
- 12:27Speaker 2: One oh seven five the River, Ricky, Zach and mannow
- 12:31Speaker 2: in the morning.
- 12:32Speaker 6: Have you ever.
- 12:32Speaker 5: Convinced somebody to do something even though you thought that
- 12:35Speaker 5: they'd actually hate it?
- 12:36Speaker 6: It's one of seven five the River.
- 12:38Speaker 5: I ask because while I was in London last week,
- 12:41Speaker 5: I got a tattoo and there was this group of
- 12:44Speaker 5: people in the tattoo shop. Three of them were getting
- 12:46Speaker 5: a tattoo. They were trying to convince the fourth to
- 12:49Speaker 5: get one, and I just don't know if that was
- 12:51Speaker 5: a good.
- 12:52Speaker 6: Move for her. She didn't seem into it.
- 12:54Speaker 4: That's a tough thing to talk somebody into doing.
- 12:56Speaker 5: That's that smiling because he has definitely done this before.
- 13:00Speaker 3: I want to do it every day to you, We
- 13:02Speaker 3: want to hear yours six one, five, seven, three seven, nine,
- 13:05Speaker 3: one oh seven. If you've convinced somebody to do something
- 13:07Speaker 3: even though you know you knew they didn't want to
- 13:09Speaker 3: do it, and also will run down the whole list
- 13:12Speaker 3: of the things.
- 13:12Speaker 4: That Zach has convinced Ricky to do. It's a long
- 13:15Speaker 4: one coming.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Next, Ricky, Zach and mannow in the morning.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Have you ever convinced somebody to do something knowing full
- 13:26Speaker 3: well that they would hate that thing?
- 13:28Speaker 4: It's one O seven five the River.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Ricky brought this up because she saw a group getting
- 13:31Speaker 3: tattoos and clearly one of them did not want to
- 13:34Speaker 3: be there getting this set.
- 13:36Speaker 5: She did not want to be a part of it,
- 13:37Speaker 5: and they were convincing her and it was working, and
- 13:40Speaker 5: I almost jumped in. It was it was bad Jack.
- 13:43Speaker 4: And Nashville, have you been there? Man.
- 13:45Speaker 7: Yep. So when I was like a little younger, me
- 13:48Speaker 7: and my siblings, we'd play like fear Factors and we're
- 13:51Speaker 7: off flash for hours, and I wanted to like end it,
- 13:54Speaker 7: and so I asked my sister this put her like
- 13:56Speaker 7: sticker whole arm into a fire at a hill, and
- 13:59Speaker 7: she did it. It did not end.
- 14:01Speaker 6: Well, Jack, that is that is so mean.
- 14:05Speaker 11: Why did you do that?
- 14:07Speaker 7: Well? I ended it?
- 14:09Speaker 8: Yeah, I mean the game was over.
- 14:10Speaker 5: That's all I wanted to do is convince her that
- 14:12Speaker 5: the game should be done.
- 14:13Speaker 3: How did it end? What happened to your sister? Do
- 14:15Speaker 3: you have to take her to the hospital or anything?
- 14:17Speaker 7: No, I didn't get that far, but ended with a long,
- 14:20Speaker 7: long conversation.
- 14:22Speaker 5: Yeah, Jack, I think you deserved that. Yeah, did you
- 14:27Speaker 5: learn your lesson? You're not going to do that again, right, Yeah, Yeah,
- 14:29Speaker 5: we'll go with that.
- 14:31Speaker 8: We'll go with that.
- 14:33Speaker 4: There are other kids listening. Don't do that. Don't do
- 14:36Speaker 4: what Jack did.
- 14:36Speaker 8: Please.
- 14:38Speaker 6: Oh but thank you for calling in and telling us
- 14:40Speaker 6: your story.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Jack.
- 14:40Speaker 5: We hope you have a great day and be nice
- 14:42Speaker 5: to all your teachers today at school.
- 14:43Speaker 6: Okay, all right, bye, be nice to.
- 14:45Speaker 3: Your sister for guys, Thank you for calling. All right, Zach,
- 14:50Speaker 3: what are some of the things you've convinced Ricky to do?
- 14:52Speaker 5: There is a long list. He's convinced me to join
- 14:54Speaker 5: a dodgeball league. It was kick kickball, sorry whatever, bowling le.
- 15:00Speaker 8: We had a blast.
- 15:01Speaker 5: Zach made me go to a concert for a band
- 15:05Speaker 5: that I don't even know who.
- 15:07Speaker 8: Was by my morning Jacket.
- 15:08Speaker 4: I love my morn jacket. I remember that.
- 15:10Speaker 5: Didn't know who they were, but he literally told his
- 15:13Speaker 5: boyfriend that I was their biggest fan. And then I
- 15:15Speaker 5: was stuck going to this concert that I don't actually
- 15:18Speaker 5: know anybody like any songs any Oh.
- 15:21Speaker 10: Yeah, I will say Ricky was a trooper on that
- 15:23Speaker 10: one because I just didn't want to go. So I
- 15:25Speaker 10: was like, what is my out? Oh, Ricky loves this band.
- 15:27Speaker 10: She wants to go with you, honey. So my boyfriend
- 15:29Speaker 10: Ricky went to the show together, said that I did
- 15:31Speaker 10: not have to go.
- 15:32Speaker 3: Oh, Zack didn't even go. Ricky went in his place. Okay,
- 15:35Speaker 3: coming back to me now, And as much as I
- 15:37Speaker 3: love that band, it's kind of dad rock, it's probably
- 15:39Speaker 3: not a.
- 15:39Speaker 6: Ricky's rock and one hundred percent not up my alley.
- 15:42Speaker 8: You guys had a great night We did have a
- 15:44Speaker 8: lot of.
- 15:44Speaker 6: Fun, because I always have fun, and that's why you
- 15:46Speaker 6: can me to do this thing.
- 15:48Speaker 10: I also convince you to drink some beat juice. I
- 15:51Speaker 10: drink Beat juice every single morning.
- 15:53Speaker 6: I beats. I hate beats.
- 15:54Speaker 4: Ricky and somebody, you gotta take goalership over this. You're
- 15:57Speaker 4: too easily convinced they think this is Sometimes I.
- 15:59Speaker 6: Just do it for the plot, Kevin. I'm gonna be
- 16:01Speaker 6: so honest with you.
- 16:02Speaker 5: Sometimes I'm like, you know what, I'm just gonna do
- 16:04Speaker 5: it for the story and see what happens.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Ricky is Zach and Manno in the morning on.
- 16:10Speaker 5: Verdidi and Murphy's Borough. Welcome to one oh seven five
- 16:13Speaker 5: the River. We're talking about convincing people to do things
- 16:17Speaker 5: that you know that they'd hate.
- 16:18Speaker 6: But you have actually been the person convinced. You've been
- 16:21Speaker 6: to me in this situation.
- 16:23Speaker 9: Okay.
- 16:23Speaker 12: So we went to Universal Studios in Florida, and I
- 16:28Speaker 12: absolutely hate roller coasters. This was one I was like
- 16:32Speaker 12: in my late team and my cousin was like, no,
- 16:37Speaker 12: come on, you gotta ride all the big ones, and
- 16:39Speaker 12: I was like, no, I don't want to. I'm happily
- 16:42Speaker 12: like I'll come everywhere with you guys that I want
- 16:44Speaker 12: to do it, and he somehow convinced me because he
- 16:47Speaker 12: like guilt took me I'm gonna have a horrible.
- 16:49Speaker 9: Time here, like this is just like a wasted trip.
- 16:53Speaker 9: And I rode every single robe cook. I was shaking
- 16:56Speaker 9: in the line. I almost loved each line, but I
- 16:59Speaker 9: rode every single one he wanted me to at least one.
- 17:02Speaker 6: It was crazy, do you like them?
- 17:04Speaker 1: Now?
- 17:05Speaker 6: Do you enjoy roller coasters?
- 17:06Speaker 9: No? No, I feel good that like I did it,
- 17:11Speaker 9: because then I was like, okay, I at least know
- 17:13Speaker 9: that feeling.
- 17:14Speaker 10: I will say, I'm very proud of you for facing
- 17:16Speaker 10: your fears and the fact that you got on every
- 17:18Speaker 10: single one is very impressive and says a lot about you.
- 17:21Speaker 10: But I hate the fact that you got there to
- 17:23Speaker 10: do something that you're traumatized by.
- 17:25Speaker 9: And it was it was the sight to see because
- 17:27Speaker 9: the way he was convincing me, like I started with
- 17:30Speaker 9: a hard no and then like slowly be like no,
- 17:33Speaker 9: but really like think about this and this and this,
- 17:35Speaker 9: and like I like it was logic, It was emotion.
- 17:38Speaker 9: There was so much that.
- 17:39Speaker 12: Went into and I was like, this is crazy.
- 17:42Speaker 6: Does your cousin work in politics?
- 17:44Speaker 8: Now or anything.
- 17:48Speaker 9: No, but he gives the social butterfly of the family,
- 17:50Speaker 9: so he does still convince me to do things. I
- 17:52Speaker 9: don't want to be fair.
- 17:54Speaker 3: Man, if you're standing there shaking, I think that's so
- 17:56Speaker 3: rude to make you do it.
- 17:57Speaker 4: You clearly didn't want to legit.
- 18:00Speaker 7: I like it.
- 18:01Speaker 6: I was so scared. But you conjured your fear, and
- 18:04Speaker 6: you know for sure now that you just absolutely hate them.
- 18:06Speaker 13: Yep, exactly.
- 18:08Speaker 4: Thank you for colling.
- 18:09Speaker 3: Thank you for starting your day with us and sharing
- 18:10Speaker 3: that story.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Bye.
- 18:12Speaker 4: Do you guys like roller coasters?
- 18:14Speaker 6: I love the same here I always have.
- 18:17Speaker 8: Let's go to the amusement park.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Okay, bye, we gotta stick around and play the.
- 18:23Speaker 4: Game of the Day. We're playing for pussy Cat Dolls.
- 18:25Speaker 4: Take it you can win them.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Next Ricky is Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 18:29Speaker 6: On the River. It's one of seven five the River.
- 18:32Speaker 5: We're about to play topical trivia for Kevin Manno's Game
- 18:35Speaker 5: of the Day for tickets to see Pussycat Dolls at
- 18:37Speaker 5: iss send Amphitheater on July twenty ninth. They're back, better
- 18:41Speaker 5: than ever and ready to play here in Nashville, hopefully.
- 18:44Speaker 3: Kate in Nashville is also ready to play. How are you, Kate?
- 18:48Speaker 6: I'm great, good, Thank you for being here.
- 18:51Speaker 3: You got to get two out of three of these questions.
- 18:53Speaker 3: The game is topical trivia. It is trivia questions based
- 18:56Speaker 3: on things happening in the world. Presently you get two
- 18:58Speaker 3: out of three of them. Gonna go see the Pussycat Dolls.
- 19:02Speaker 3: All rights play the game, Kate. It starts right now.
- 19:06Speaker 3: Who recently released a new album called The Romantic?
- 19:11Speaker 6: Who was that?
- 19:16Speaker 3: It is first in like a decade.
- 19:20Speaker 8: First he is from Hawaii?
- 19:24Speaker 3: Zach, You and all these clues, man, Yeah, I'm just
- 19:29Speaker 3: trying to help you with the assist from Zach. All right,
- 19:33Speaker 3: this one might not be as easy. What superhero is back?
- 19:35Speaker 3: In a brand new trailer for the upcoming movie Brand
- 19:38Speaker 3: New Day. It's the superhero's name Colon Brand New Day.
- 19:48Speaker 3: You didn't even need a clue from Zach that time. Congratulations,
- 19:50Speaker 3: you're going to see the Pussycat Dolls. Yeah, it's gonna
- 19:58Speaker 3: be a great show. They're back and cool shre Zingers
- 20:01Speaker 3: back with them.
- 20:01Speaker 4: You will be there. Thank you for calling, Kate. Thanks
- 20:03Speaker 4: for playing.
- 20:04Speaker 5: I have a good day, Okay, hang on li Line
- 20:06Speaker 5: Love we're gonna get your info.
- 20:07Speaker 3: Okay, hang on.
- 20:08Speaker 4: That was easy for her.
- 20:09Speaker 3: I did not think she would get that Spider Man
- 20:11Speaker 3: when the trailer just came out yesterday.
- 20:12Speaker 6: She just came out yesterday.
- 20:14Speaker 5: It looks really good that I'm very excited.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Three things you need to know?
- 20:19Speaker 3: All right, just after eight o'clock. I hope you're having
- 20:21Speaker 3: a great Thursday so far. Let's make it a wonderful day.
- 20:24Speaker 3: Ricky's got those three things.
- 20:25Speaker 5: Miley Cyrus is manifesting something big. She wants to do
- 20:29Speaker 5: the super Bowl halftime show. So she told Variety that
- 20:32Speaker 5: her godmother, Dolly Parting, she gave her a very valuable
- 20:36Speaker 5: lesson when she was younger.
- 20:37Speaker 6: She said, quote, if you want something.
- 20:38Speaker 3: To happen, voice, say it in a Dolly voice.
- 20:41Speaker 5: If you want something to happen, promoted before it exists.
- 20:45Speaker 5: Miley said that she successfully manifested the Hand of Montana
- 20:48Speaker 5: special that's coming out on March twenty fourth, and she's
- 20:51Speaker 5: about to do it again with the super Bowl halftime show.
- 20:54Speaker 5: So fingers crossed. She's kind of been somebody that everybody's
- 20:57Speaker 5: talked about in previous years of a possibility or somebody
- 21:00Speaker 5: that we'd love to see perform.
- 21:02Speaker 6: The halftime show. She did not say if they've ever
- 21:05Speaker 6: approached her anything like that, so we don't actually know that,
- 21:08Speaker 6: but we do know she's ready. At this point, she
- 21:10Speaker 6: is ready.
- 21:11Speaker 5: Super Bowl sixty one is scheduled for Valentine's Day of
- 21:13Speaker 5: twenty twenty seven at SOFI Stadium in Los Angeles.
- 21:17Speaker 6: Fingers crossed, we're all gonna manifest it together.
- 21:19Speaker 4: It'd be cool.
- 21:20Speaker 5: A Murphy's Borough restaurant has gone viral for posting ID
- 21:23Speaker 5: requirements for a child buffet price. So, in order for
- 21:27Speaker 5: customers to get child pricing for their children who are
- 21:31Speaker 5: over four point three feet tall, parents and guardians have
- 21:35Speaker 5: to present a birth certificate or passport. So the sign
- 21:39Speaker 5: that they had outside said basically like you need to
- 21:41Speaker 5: show an ID. It was removed after a reporter spoke
- 21:45Speaker 5: with the manager about the policy because the manager said
- 21:47Speaker 5: that the requirement is from customers misrepresenting their child's ages
- 21:52Speaker 5: in order to receive a discount, which everyone has done.
- 21:55Speaker 5: It is not right, but everybody has done it at
- 21:58Speaker 5: some point. They've lied in order to get a disc
- 22:00Speaker 5: and the staff didn't know how to kind of address
- 22:02Speaker 5: that issue.
- 22:03Speaker 6: The policy was never strictly enforced. They never actually.
- 22:06Speaker 5: Asked people to show their birth certificates, but they were
- 22:09Speaker 5: hoping that the flyer outside would kind of prohibit people
- 22:12Speaker 5: from even trying.
- 22:13Speaker 6: Now it's taken down.
- 22:15Speaker 5: The manager did say that due to a language barrier,
- 22:17Speaker 5: staff was unaware that people were actually interpreting it as
- 22:21Speaker 5: such a literal way, so it kind of it caused
- 22:25Speaker 5: a whole bunch of ruckus. But everything's solved at this point.
- 22:29Speaker 5: There is no id requirement for this buffet. You don't
- 22:33Speaker 5: need to do anything.
- 22:34Speaker 6: Super crazy in order to get the discount anymore.
- 22:37Speaker 5: And there's a new slang word that's confusing anyone older
- 22:40Speaker 5: than gen z low kenuinely. It's a combination of low
- 22:45Speaker 5: key and genuinelyfe It kind of means like sincerely, So
- 22:50Speaker 5: linguists say that low kenuinely is actually a contradiction because
- 22:53Speaker 5: a fact can't be low key. But when you use
- 22:58Speaker 5: it in a sentence and you use the emotion by
- 23:00Speaker 5: behind it, it makes more sense, so.
- 23:01Speaker 6: You can use it like it.
- 23:03Speaker 5: Low canuinely means a lot that you came to my birthday,
- 23:06Speaker 5: or I'm low canuinely not ready for.
- 23:09Speaker 11: Today, or your outfit is lo quing, so sick, so sick,
- 23:17Speaker 11: so Harry to get it understand how can be loke?
- 23:21Speaker 6: You are much older than gen z, so that makes sense.
- 23:25Speaker 8: And those are the.
- 23:25Speaker 6: Three things you need to know.
- 23:26Speaker 4: We're both millennials, you and I.
- 23:29Speaker 6: You are older millennial.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Do not go there, Kevin one O seven five, Ricky,
- 23:35Speaker 2: Zach and mannow in the morning.
- 23:37Speaker 5: We hope you guys are prepared for this because I
- 23:39Speaker 5: have no idea where it's going to go.
- 23:40Speaker 6: It's one of seven five of the river.
- 23:42Speaker 5: Zach has this hot take that he thinks that gum
- 23:44Speaker 5: should be banned throughout the entire world everywhere, and he
- 23:47Speaker 5: has three reasons why. Two are scientific, one is personal.
- 23:51Speaker 5: Which ones do you want to start with?
- 23:53Speaker 8: Sis?
- 23:54Speaker 6: Personal? Okay, your personal reason why you think it should be.
- 23:56Speaker 10: Banned Personally, it drives me absolutely insane to watch people
- 24:00Speaker 10: chew gum, especially when they don't chew it with their
- 24:02Speaker 10: mouth clothes and they're just like smacking on their gum.
- 24:05Speaker 8: It ruins my entire day.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Well smacking, you're weird about chewing anyway, Like if you're
- 24:10Speaker 3: at a restaurant and people are chewing their food, you
- 24:12Speaker 3: start to freak out again.
- 24:13Speaker 11: I said said it was a personal part person watching
- 24:18Speaker 11: people chew gum, it grosses me out.
- 24:20Speaker 5: Okay, now, scientifically, why do you think gums should be
- 24:22Speaker 5: banned for it?
- 24:23Speaker 10: Scientifically, Number one, it is very bad for your teeth
- 24:26Speaker 10: to chew gum, so it has so much sugar in
- 24:30Speaker 10: it that it's so bad for your teeth that it
- 24:31Speaker 10: feeds bacteria that create acid, leading to enamel decay.
- 24:35Speaker 8: Okay, that's not good.
- 24:36Speaker 10: Also, constant chewing fit over fifteen to twenty minutes, which
- 24:39Speaker 10: Kevin you do, can lead to jaw fatigue like TMJ issues,
- 24:43Speaker 10: worn tooth enamel, or as mentioned in this YouTube video
- 24:46Speaker 10: that I watch the loosening of crowns or fillings that
- 24:49Speaker 10: they can rip them out.
- 24:51Speaker 4: What about sugar free gum is that better?
- 24:53Speaker 8: Sugar free gum actually is better.
- 24:55Speaker 10: I looked it up and it said that it simulates
- 24:56Speaker 10: the liber production which strengthens your enamel. So if it's
- 25:00Speaker 10: sugar free, it's not that bad. So if you eat
- 25:03Speaker 10: the sugary gum, very bad for you. Are you ready
- 25:05Speaker 10: for my second scientific reasons? Yes, it is so bad
- 25:08Speaker 10: for the environment because so many people just spit their
- 25:11Speaker 10: gum on the sidewalk and literally the entire sidewalk is
- 25:14Speaker 10: covered in gum and sidewalks you walked down Broadway.
- 25:21Speaker 6: It sounds like on the gum wall in Seattle. That's
- 25:25Speaker 6: what it feels like.
- 25:26Speaker 10: Have you seen all the little black dots on the
- 25:28Speaker 10: sidewalk like down Broadway or like a well traveled street.
- 25:31Speaker 10: There's a lot of gum there and it can take
- 25:33Speaker 10: up to five hundred years to decompose, and it is
- 25:37Speaker 10: full of harmful microplastics, which is so bad for the
- 25:40Speaker 10: environment and threatening to the marine life, contaminating soil and
- 25:44Speaker 10: the waterway.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Honestly, this was pretty convincing, like truly, Uh, you kind
- 25:48Speaker 3: of won me over there with some of that. I
- 25:49Speaker 3: do like the visual just uh, you know, skipping through
- 25:52Speaker 3: Willie Wonka's factory, just everything's covering.
- 25:56Speaker 8: You're walking. Do you not just see gum spot everywhere?
- 26:00Speaker 8: Hardly everybody.
- 26:02Speaker 4: Everybody's just stuck trying to move their feet.
- 26:05Speaker 5: I don't think I've seen gum anywhere around Nashville, on.
- 26:08Speaker 10: Thene literally everywhere. It's so bad for the environment, non biodea.
- 26:13Speaker 5: Let's hear what everybody thinks about your argument here. Do
- 26:16Speaker 5: you agree or disagree that gum should be banned throughout
- 26:19Speaker 5: the entire world everywhere six seven through seven, nine seven, And.
- 26:24Speaker 4: Just in his defense, Rick, you think you're picturing, you're wrong.
- 26:26Speaker 3: You know there's just like black circles on the street
- 26:28Speaker 3: or the sideway gum. That's gum.
- 26:31Speaker 4: They're everywhere.
- 26:32Speaker 6: You're not convincing me, literally everywhere.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Let us know if you agree or not with Zach's
- 26:36Speaker 3: hot take.
- 26:37Speaker 1: On gum, Ricky, Zach, and Menno in the morning on.
- 26:41Speaker 5: Don and Nashville, Welcome to one oh seven five the River.
- 26:44Speaker 5: What do you think about Zach's hot take? Do you
- 26:46Speaker 5: think gum should be banned throughout the entire world?
- 26:49Speaker 12: No, I'm killing gum right now.
- 26:52Speaker 10: Don If I hear he's smack through the phone, get
- 26:55Speaker 10: where I would lose it?
- 26:56Speaker 13: I am.
- 26:59Speaker 4: I don't know that it's coming through that, but we're
- 27:00Speaker 4: gonna take your word for it.
- 27:01Speaker 10: Is it like an anxiety tick? Like what what does
- 27:04Speaker 10: this do for you? Does it calm you down?
- 27:06Speaker 2: Like?
- 27:06Speaker 8: What what is the need to constantly have gum in
- 27:08Speaker 8: your mouth?
- 27:09Speaker 1: I don't know, it's just one.
- 27:12Speaker 3: It kind of is like a tick, like my mouth
- 27:14Speaker 3: feels empty without it, Don, how many cavities.
- 27:17Speaker 8: Have you had?
- 27:18Speaker 13: I have someone that was little I haven't gotten no more.
- 27:20Speaker 10: You're a lucky one because they're saying that chewing gum
- 27:23Speaker 10: creates a lot of bacteria and you can get a
- 27:25Speaker 10: lot more cavities.
- 27:26Speaker 6: Don brushes her teeth. She's fine.
- 27:28Speaker 8: Do you spin it on the sidewalk?
- 27:31Speaker 2: No?
- 27:31Speaker 3: No, no, what do you do with it?
- 27:34Speaker 4: That's not any better.
- 27:35Speaker 8: That's still so bad for the environment.
- 27:37Speaker 10: All of the microplastics are coming out of the gum, going.
- 27:42Speaker 4: That's not good for you, Ricky, don't do that.
- 27:44Speaker 6: I'm fine.
- 27:44Speaker 4: Don in the grass like a little.
- 27:46Speaker 3: Squirrel or a bunny is gonna get that and chew
- 27:48Speaker 3: out it and choke and don't do that. Throw in
- 27:49Speaker 3: a garbage can. Just find a garbage can.
- 27:51Speaker 2: Okay, Wow, I'm usually in the car. I don't chew
- 27:54Speaker 2: it at home.
- 27:55Speaker 6: That makes sense, though. It's a lot of people need
- 27:57Speaker 6: to do things when they're in the car. I've noticed this.
- 27:59Speaker 5: This is like a thing like they need to find
- 28:01Speaker 5: ways to keep them occupied.
- 28:03Speaker 8: I don't know. Keep your eyes on the road and
- 28:05Speaker 8: pay attention.
- 28:06Speaker 6: She could chew and pay attention at the same time.
- 28:09Speaker 8: People here are awful drivers.
