- 0:38None. None.
- 1:33None. All right, welcome to Proverbs
- 2:35Guys Ministries. I am one of your hosts, Steven
- 2:37Andrew. I'm glad you guys came out for
- 2:39this really cool episode. I'm getting to interview a very
- 2:43good friend of mine and I want to just, I'm about to play a
- 2:47song for you guys from his album.
- 2:50It's a really cool song. I listen to it a couple times.
- 2:53I think you guys will dig it too.
- 2:55And that's going to be his bat call to come on to the show.
- 2:59But I wanted to just give you a brief history first of Proverbs
- 3:03Guy's ministries. We, as some of you know who have
- 3:06been with us for a long time, we're not always Proverbs Guy's
- 3:10ministries. We didn't always have 9 hosts
- 3:13with 9 different shows going on through the week.
- 3:16Originally it was just Stephen Andrew with Proverbs 2717 and I
- 3:22was very new to YouTube and I was very bad at YouTube and none
- 3:29of the major Christians in my life who were on YouTube had a
- 3:35lot of time to spend with me. So they taught me virtually
- 3:39nothing, whereas Mr. Brett Kane took me under his wing and
- 3:44taught me virtually everything I ever knew about YouTube and
- 3:48podcasting and running live open panels, the entire lion's dens
- 3:55that we have that we do or we encourage the atheist to come
- 3:59engage with us all modeled after the way Brett Kane did his show.
- 4:05So I just want to give a special thanks to Brett for taking that
- 4:12time and showing me what I know and allowing me to be able to
- 4:16grow into what Proverbs Guys Ministries is today.
- 4:20I can honestly say if it wasn't for Brett's help early on,
- 4:24Proverbs guys would not look anything like it does today.
- 4:27It would be a really poor production.
- 4:29So thank you Brett. I want to go ahead and play this
- 4:34song that he produced. It's one of the songs on his
- 4:40album. So I want you guys to go check
- 4:42out all the songs on the album. I have it posted in the
- 4:46description of this interview episode.
- 4:48But without further ado, I am going to step backstage and play
- 4:54this song and I hope you guys all really enjoy it.
- 5:14I watch you walk these empty halls, talking to the barren
- 5:20walls. You wear the paper crown, so
- 5:24proud, speaking to an absent crowd.
- 5:33Your eyes don't see what's real anymore.
- 5:46Drifting further from the shore. I see you slipping through my
- 5:53head, making castles in the sand.
- 5:59You're dancing with the morning lights, chasing visions in the
- 6:05night. La La.
- 6:10You tell me stories of your throne, of kingdoms that you
- 6:15rule alone, but all I see is an empty chair and bitter words
- 6:21that fill the air. I see you slipping through my
- 6:37head, making castles in the sand.
- 6:42You're dancing with the morning light, chasing visions in the
- 6:49night. Can't you hear me calling out?
- 6:55Can't you see beyond your doubt everything you think you are?
- 7:01It's just a lie you've always known.
- 7:23See you slipping through my hands, making castles in the
- 7:28sand. You're dancing with the morning
- 7:29light, chasing vision in the night.
- 7:32Oh, fading away. The crowd is falling from your
- 7:38head. The Kingdom.
- 7:52It's only in your head. I wish that you could
- 7:57understand. It's time to leave.
- 8:00The snow will land. All right, was that not an
- 8:26awesome song or what? Hey, what you up to mate?
- 8:31Hey, how have you been, Mr. Brett Keane?
- 8:34Been doing pretty good, tired today, had to do a lot of work
- 8:39on graphic design and dealing with some nonsense, but besides
- 8:43that I'm happy to be here. What's up?
- 8:46Are you are you utilizing Canva? Canva.
- 8:51Canva. It is an all in one multi
- 8:54purpose tool and there's a free version that you can try out.
- 8:57You really need to give it a go I'll.
- 9:00Have to check it out. Some kind of I think I heard of
- 9:03something, some kind of paint program.
- 9:06Well, it does a lot more than that.
- 9:08It's it's a fascinating multi tool, but you can even do video
- 9:13editing on it, but we'll check that out later.
- 9:17First of all, let's dig into your music, man.
- 9:19So you have 20 songs posted on the GOD TV Radio YouTube
- 9:24channel. How many songs do you have on
- 9:27all the albums? What?
- 9:29How much music's out there? Well, if you check out my
- 9:33website, which is that one of the first links that you put in
- 9:36your description, there's almost I'd say practically 40 tracks.
- 9:43There's the other 20 are waiting to be put on CD.
- 9:47The one you just heard is recently on a jewel case CD and
- 9:52a sleeve case. Oh OK, I'm pulling this up now
- 9:58so we can share it with the audience and help plug it.
- 10:01Is this the correct link you were talking about?
- 10:04Yeah. That's all right.
- 10:07Let me share this, all right, OK, so this is where you can buy
- 10:12the CD, guys. You can buy it on Amazon.
- 10:15You can buy the shirts. YouTube channel, all the links
- 10:18here posted. We'll accept all a lot of
- 10:23albums. Now, music's not new to you
- 10:26though, Brett, right? You've been doing music for
- 10:28what, 15 years or more? I was doing music a lot whenever
- 10:32I was a younger man. And then I slowed down, got out
- 10:36of it for a little bit, started writing books and such.
- 10:39I even got one of my books selling on the side as well.
- 10:43And yeah, and took a took a break from it, got tired of
- 10:47dealing with musicians. And then is that when you
- 10:52decided to jump into the world of YouTube with all their mini
- 10:55trolls? Yeah, yeah.
- 10:58It was actually a pretty rough time in the moment whenever I
- 11:01decided to start up YouTube. But I I used to use like Yahoo
- 11:06Chat and AOL. I can't believe that stuff even
- 11:11existed as long as it did. All right.
- 11:15Well, just for some of the people who are going to watch
- 11:17this and they don't maybe know who Brett Keene is.
- 11:21Brett Keene was one of the most influential atheists on all of
- 11:25YouTube. Before there was ever an Aaron
- 11:27Raw, it was Brett Keene. Brett Keene was the atheist
- 11:31vindicator and Brett Keene had a road to Damascus type of
- 11:36experience and is very much trying to live for the Lord now.
- 11:41So we won over one of the biggest tools that Satan ever
- 11:45had on YouTube and we are extremely underutilizing him.
- 11:50What else would you go over, Brett?
- 11:53Well, yeah, yeah, I was saying that because I was doing those
- 11:56chats and talking to religious folks and non believers.
- 12:00A lot of people said, Brett, you got a pretty cool voice and
- 12:03personality, why don't you do YouTube?
- 12:06And I remember checking out YouTube 20 years ago.
- 12:08It was just cat videos and gerbils on wheels that I was
- 12:12like, why do they want me to do this thing for?
- 12:14But I did. It blew up pretty quickly.
- 12:17Well, my only competition was kittens and puppies, so you
- 12:21know, what are you going to? Do that's true and you kind of
- 12:24laid the pavement for all of YouTube podcast shows today.
- 12:29All the live panels that you see are almost brainchildren of the
- 12:33way you did your show the GOD TV Radio.
- 12:36Is that right? Yeah, yeah, a lot of non
- 12:39believers even nowadays, I've noticed because every once in a
- 12:43while I get bored and feel like a masochist and go visit an
- 12:46atheist channel, see what they're saying.
- 12:48And they're not saying anything new or interesting that I
- 12:53haven't already said. And better, you know, so it, it
- 12:56doesn't impress me. Right.
- 12:59Well, OK. And with YouTube, they seem to
- 13:03have a pattern. Anytime somebody goes young
- 13:06Earth creation or even Christian period, they definitely start
- 13:11shadow banding your channel. It's happened to my channel.
- 13:14It's happened to multiple channels for you.
- 13:16Are you afraid at all that that will happen to this channel
- 13:19again? As far as I know, it could have
- 13:22already happened the moment I, you know, restarted up the
- 13:26YouTube channel. I don't know.
- 13:28I know a lot of Christian Youtubers who are making great
- 13:32looking videos. And I mean, some of the imagery
- 13:35that you use and thumbnails, you're really working hard to
- 13:38make it right. And I think that you should be a
- 13:41lot farther on YouTube than what you are.
- 13:44You should be like 10,000 Subs in with the kind of time you put
- 13:48into your work here. So something's wrong.
- 13:51Yeah. Well, I mean, you had the same
- 13:53experience, the channel you had when I met you, I think it was
- 13:56over 10,000, right? Yeah, yeah, I've went through a
- 14:01lot of channels. Yeah, for some reason, atheists
- 14:04can sit up there and do nasty, weird stuff on video.
- 14:08But if a religious person gets a little feisty, uh oh.
- 14:13OK. Yep, exactly.
- 14:15All right. So is YouTube your main platform
- 14:17right now or is it more or less a backup platform for you?
- 14:21Where are you putting most of your aches?
- 14:23Well, I'm mostly dealing with the website and everything and
- 14:27working on that and the music and YouTube's.
- 14:30This I, I think one of the reasons why I even returned as I
- 14:34like some of the people aren't here.
- 14:36I dig folks like you and being able to talk to people on social
- 14:39media. But I got to be honest, as far
- 14:42as the religion versus atheist thing, that that started getting
- 14:46boring because like I said, they say the same thing over and over
- 14:49like a scripted robot. We can't get them to come on our
- 14:53show anymore. I don't know if they're just
- 14:55totally repulsed by us or if they got tired of getting kicked
- 14:59around, but you know, besides like 3 trolls who are
- 15:02permanently banned, we cannot. I don't think we could pay an
- 15:06atheist to come on our show. Well, I wouldn't doubt it.
- 15:10It's atheists aren't the same way they used to be a long time
- 15:14ago. They were more, how shall I say,
- 15:17beholden I, I don't know if it's right to say this on the screen
- 15:23and stuff, but they, they seem to have more courage and guts
- 15:26back in the day. And it was maybe because there
- 15:29were people like me around there to, you know, give them some
- 15:32good arguments or something. But nowadays they're weak.
- 15:41Yay, yes, yes, yes, blah blah. Weak is the best way to describe
- 15:46it. But not as weak, Brett as their
- 15:49arguments for evolution, right? Yep.
- 15:55You know, you, you were saying earlier that a link got
- 15:59reverted. I actually went and checked out
- 16:01that person's channel and it's an atheist and he's got the same
- 16:05sob story. You know, something sad
- 16:07happened. So he had a sad so therefore God
- 16:10doesn't exist argument. You've heard that a million
- 16:13times. It's always the same deal.
- 16:15It's never for scientific reasons.
- 16:18Well, yeah, it that's another reason why we say, and
- 16:22rightfully so, that evolution and that type of science, the
- 16:26pseudoscience, it is a belief, it is a religion.
- 16:31It goes hand in hand. But now.
- 16:33I don't know if you grabbed a copy of this off of my TikTok
- 16:37but I still have that clip of you when you were debating that
- 16:41atheist something. I'm I'm not going to advertise
- 16:44him but you said so. You think you're a damn banana?
- 16:49Yeah, I know the one you're talking about.
- 16:52You added to it, right? Well, I got the clip.
- 16:55If you don't have a copy of it, people would laugh if they seen
- 16:59that. Yeah, send that over to me, man.
- 17:01I'll share it. I'll share it on my socials.
- 17:04You have a live show coming up tomorrow, right?
- 17:08Yeah. What are you going to do for the
- 17:12trolls? Are you just going to put them
- 17:14backstage and kind of vet them and see what they're about
- 17:17before you put them on? Well, tell you the truth, I can
- 17:21understand why you're using EV mucks now.
- 17:24I went over to stream yards like I usually used and it says I can
- 17:28do live streaming up to two hours and that's it per month.
- 17:32And I looked at the price plan and I was like 50 bucks.
- 17:36What the hell? These people become burglars.
- 17:40Look, it got bad Brett. We I was still using Stream
- 17:43Yard, but we got up to 8 hosts and when we got up to 8 hosts,
- 17:48the plan on Stream Yard would have cost us $300.00 a month.
- 17:52The plan I have right now on Evemux is only costing me $100 a
- 17:56month, but even that is a steep bill.
- 18:01I hear you, I don't understand why they think that it's worth
- 18:04that much money and I'm surprised Google hasn't went
- 18:07ahead and just bought the thing already and made it into their
- 18:10new Google plus or Google subtraction, whatever stupid
- 18:14symbols you want to put behind it.
- 18:17Now, do you have a theme or an idea, a general direction you're
- 18:21wanting your show to go tomorrow?
- 18:23Well, usually I try to keep things open for people to come
- 18:27in and have discussions and all that.
- 18:30I know it's probably an intelligent idea to come up with
- 18:33some topics, but I figure while I'm waiting there's plenty of
- 18:36things going on. Been watching the news a lot and
- 18:39Oh my goodness, I could go on all day about politics.
- 18:43I could go on all day about spirituality.
- 18:45I mean, you name it, while I'm waiting for people to come in
- 18:48and, you know, throw some questions at me.
- 18:53You you've been pretty busy since we talked last.
- 18:57You've got a slew of music out. You're working on all your
- 18:59different social media platforms.
- 19:02I've been pretty busy too. I I produced a documentary on
- 19:07Kent Hovind. Have you seen that yet?
- 19:10No, I haven't. How long is it?
- 19:13So it's 5 episodes that are about 40 minutes long each.
- 19:19So it's kind of set as a Netflix series type of documentary and
- 19:24you can find it at the unmasking Kent Hovind YouTube channel.
- 19:28So go check that out When? You have Am I able to get it on
- 19:31CD or anything? Yeah, yeah.
- 19:34If you go through the Doctor Dino website, it's listed at the
- 19:39store. You can get a DVD copy of it.
- 19:42Oh, that's awesome then. Yep, but it's also available on
- 19:46YouTube so you can check it out while you're waiting.
- 19:48But good stuff. Now, what are your plans for the
- 19:51near future, Brett? Well, still working on the music
- 19:56and also I've been working on a a book about my life and so far
- 20:02I've gotten like, I don't know, to the point where I'm like 80%
- 20:06done with it, but it's kind of hard to finish the 20% of life
- 20:10when I'm still actually living. Yeah.
- 20:15I mean, that's a good point. So are you saying pretty much
- 20:19you're done up to right now current events?
- 20:22Yeah, I'm, I'm pretty much to that point, but there's a
- 20:26concern about releasing it because I talk about a lot of
- 20:31family members and actually mention names and all that.
- 20:35And some of my family members, they ain't passed the idea of a
- 20:38lawsuit. Well, why don't you just change
- 20:42some of the names? Well, it'd be kind of hard
- 20:46because even if I change something to, you know, this
- 20:49person's name is Zipper or whatever, they're going to know
- 20:53who I'm talking about. And plus, it's Brett Keene
- 20:56writing Brett Keene's life story, right?
- 20:59OK, but what's wrong with that? Well, even if they didn't want
- 21:03to sue me, there's going to be family members popping around
- 21:07the door wanting whoops. And that's you understand.
- 21:10No, I I get that. All right.
- 21:12So it's pretty much a waiting game.
- 21:15Are you waiting for some people to die?
- 21:17And if so, as morbid as it is, do you think they'll outlast
- 21:22you? Well, some of the people are
- 21:25already gone in life, unfortunately, sadly for them,
- 21:29but there are there are a couple people left where they they got
- 21:33roasted pretty hard in the butt. OK, and this is not your first
- 21:39book. You also have the afterlife
- 21:41simulation, right? Yeah, the other stuff is
- 21:44fantasy, sci-fi, that kind of stuff.
- 21:47And one of my first novels was a horror novel.
- 21:50This is actually based upon, you know, an actual person meet.
- 21:56True. Yeah, I guess it would be hard
- 21:59to write a book about your own life and to be totally
- 22:02vulnerable and completely honest about all the details, you know,
- 22:06because often we'd like to keep those skeletons in the closet.
- 22:10So how much scar have you, you know, exposed during this
- 22:14process? Oh.
- 22:15I, I put all of my stuff out there and all that.
- 22:18That's another thing. I know that if I released my
- 22:21book, there'd probably be like tons of documentaries made about
- 22:24me. So it's that's another thing
- 22:27too, to concern. Truth matters out here says I
- 22:30can't wait to read Brett's biography.
- 22:32Is it short? I wish.
- 22:34No. The thing at this point is
- 22:36around 456 pages. And by the way, I did give you a
- 22:43wrench, Brett, so if you see any trolls out there that I'm
- 22:47missing, feel free to block them.
- 22:50I don't see anybody cause any trouble out there.
- 22:53You got all the nice people on your channel.
- 22:56Oh, it took a lot of work to get rid of the certain Canadians and
- 23:01some various others. Oh, Canadians, them and
- 23:05Liberals. What are you going to do with
- 23:06them? How come we haven't bought their
- 23:08country already and ran that place right?
- 23:11Well, you know, I gave you credit at the beginning of the
- 23:14show for teaching so much about podcasting and running live
- 23:18panels. And all of that's true.
- 23:20But I didn't give you the discredit for some of the trolls
- 23:23I inherited from from your platforms.
- 23:26They found me and they stuck like glue.
- 23:31Well, unfortunately that is what they do.
- 23:33I've always warned people before I go on shows or podcasts, I
- 23:37say, look, if I come over here, you're going to get, you might
- 23:40make a few friends and all that, but you're also going to run
- 23:43into a lot of turd burglars and unfortunately you have
- 23:47experienced that. Yay.
- 23:49Oh, I've been bombed and everything.
- 23:51Yeah, I have been like fully christened in the YouTube
- 23:54community. What do you plan to do?
- 23:59Are you going to keep doing some shows?
- 24:01You got any interesting things coming up?
- 24:04Yeah, so we have a biblical archaeologist coming up, and
- 24:08then we have a big interview with the family that produces a
- 24:13line of Christian movies, the movie Courageous and Fireproof.
- 24:17In that series, we're going to be interviewing those producers.
- 24:21So we've got some big things lined up, but right now it's
- 24:25more about developing our website and we're really trying
- 24:29to push our our alternative platform Rumble.
- 24:35So I think that's going to be our future Rumble, TikTok and X
- 24:40because let's be honest, YouTube is not Christian friendly.
- 24:46Well, I'll tell you what, the next time you run into some non
- 24:49believer debaters and they claim up and down that there's no
- 24:53evidence, tell them. Well, the abundance of evidence
- 24:56we have for the Bible and geology and the figures in the
- 25:00Bible compared to you claiming that we come from rocks is quite
- 25:04overwhelming. You know you can say that.
- 25:08You know, you said earlier that you were tired of the whole
- 25:12evolution versus creation argument, and I could understand
- 25:15why you took that battle on from both sides for a really long
- 25:18time. But you had some of the classic
- 25:21arguments, man, almost on the same scale as as Kent Hovind,
- 25:25whereas you would spin it on them.
- 25:27I remember your famous 1 the snot on a rock and explain the
- 25:32variables in the environment like.
- 25:35Great questions man. Well, it's, it's not so much
- 25:39having an issue talking about evolution or science or anything
- 25:43like that. I, I admire science.
- 25:46I think that we both have a great deal of admiration.
- 25:49I know Kent Hovind loves science as well.
- 25:52And he especially uses that the, you know, whip the uneducated
- 25:56out there, which I admire and respect as well.
- 25:59The issue is, is the type of people we're talking to.
- 26:02We get these folks that come in and they're narcissistic and
- 26:06they act like they know everything, but it only takes 5
- 26:08minutes to realize they didn't even make it to high school, you
- 26:11know what I mean? Yeah, actually I do.
- 26:14It's a lot of YouTube professors.
- 26:17They've watched a lot of YouTube videos and they've learned to
- 26:20parrot the information on the YouTube videos, and they will
- 26:23continue propagating it further as science, knowing that we have
- 26:28no observable, testable evidence for any of their claims.
- 26:35Oh look at that out there missing mods.
- 26:37Those were awesome and that makes me flush.
- 26:41Yeah, there's been nothing really but good, favorable stuff
- 26:45that I see out in the comments section, which I'm glad we have
- 26:48nine people watching. I'm not going to open up the
- 26:51panel because I guess last time I let somebody in that was
- 26:56trolling, so I don't want to make a mistake of doing that
- 27:00again. Otherwise, I'd open up the panel
- 27:02and let people ask you some questions.
- 27:05Well, I don't know. If you start doing that then
- 27:09other people start bugging you. I am paying attention to the
- 27:12comments if anyone. Everybody's been saying nice
- 27:15things about both of us the whole time, almost making me
- 27:18blush over here. But if anybody has any questions
- 27:21I'll be more than happy to answer.
- 27:24Oh, you know what? I'm really glad that you and
- 27:28TTORI guess it looks like you guys have made-up.
- 27:34Yeah, me and him had one of the same type of problems that you
- 27:38and I ran into a while back where you brought somebody in,
- 27:42they decided to take over your show.
- 27:44Well, he did the same thing. And I told him before we went in
- 27:47there, I said, look, I'm thinking about quitting YouTube
- 27:50for a year or two and getting out of here.
- 27:53And he's like, oh, that's, that's it's rough.
- 27:56And I said this whole politics, it was right before Trump was
- 28:00getting in and I was really concerned the election was going
- 28:03to get screwed over. And I was just stressed out.
- 28:06And I said, man, I just want to chill.
- 28:08I want to hang out with my friends and have a good time.
- 28:11I don't want any argument or fighting.
- 28:14Within 5 minutes he had some wild feral animal up in there
- 28:17screaming and yelling directly at me.
- 28:19I was like, OK, I'm out. Yeah, and what blows my mind
- 28:24about it, Brett, is if I quit YouTube tomorrow and never came
- 28:29back, my name would be totally forgotten within a couple of
- 28:32years if it took that long. But you, on the other hand,
- 28:35you've quit YouTube multiple times.
- 28:38And just up to the other day, I was scrolling through YouTube
- 28:42and for some reason it was advertising the Drunken
- 28:44Peasants. And they are still obsessed with
- 28:46you. Like what makes you so special?
- 28:50Well, it's weird, isn't it, how people, they make video saying
- 28:54that you're, they're telling you that your garbage is a person
- 28:58and you're irrelevant and all this.
- 29:01And it's like, well, if I'm irrelevant, what the hell you
- 29:03making a video for? You know somebody's actually
- 29:06garbage and not worth your time, Then why spend an hour or two
- 29:11talking about a person That's dumb?
- 29:15Well, yeah, it it seems like it's obsession that or as I've
- 29:19accused others of doing with our channel, they don't produce any
- 29:22good content. So we are the content.
- 29:29Yeah, that's exactly the way a lot of these podcasts do it.
- 29:32They play other people's content and then talk.
- 29:35Trash me and you could do that, Steven.
- 29:37We can put some eyes, video up, mute them so we can't actually
- 29:41hear what they're saying, and call them names all day.
- 29:44That seems to help the atheist. I mean, I'm pretty sure that
- 29:48Atheist Junior is making a whole living out of doing that against
- 29:52Kent Hovind. Like his entire channel is
- 29:54nothing about declaring war on Kent Hovind's legacy.
- 30:01Well, you do realize that no matter what Junior does, Kent
- 30:06Hovind has already imprinted himself from the universe many
- 30:10years before that guy got out of diapers.
- 30:12So he can try as he might, but it ain't going to do nothing.
- 30:17Even with all, even with Kent's flaws and stuff, he's a way
- 30:21better person than that Junior ever could be.
- 30:24Oh, by the way, that's the banana guy that you're talking
- 30:27about. Oh, that was him.
- 30:29You're right. Yeah.
- 30:31Man, I wish you would. I wish you would make a trip to
- 30:34Noah's Ark in Kentucky with us. We're trying to get a bunch of
- 30:38creationists to go there and protest the atheist protest, and
- 30:43Atheist Junior is one of many people you know that'll be
- 30:47there, and I can't wait to be able to engage him in debate
- 30:50face to face. That'd be difficult for me, you
- 30:54know, My patience levels very low.
- 30:57Have a hard time not having flashbacks of WWE wrestling?
- 31:02But it would be really funny because Aaron Raw is going to be
- 31:06there too, and he would almost have to pay you homage because
- 31:10if it wasn't for you, he would be a nobody.
- 31:13He basically mimicked your every move to get where he is.
- 31:19I ain't doing a very good job of it.
- 31:22The Gothic Fabio is what I refer to him as, but he's the only
- 31:28poster child they have right now.
- 31:29Mark Reed has fallen off. Grayson base theories fallen
- 31:34off. All the big ones are falling
- 31:36off. Grayson took off.
- 31:41He seemed like he had a little bit more charisma than the usual
- 31:45baboon. What happened to him?
- 31:47Well because he came to dinosaur adventure land on a visit and
- 31:52said nice things while he was here and then as soon as he left
- 31:56he did a trash talking video basically calling it a cult.
- 32:00And I guess even atheists have some sort of moral code because
- 32:03nobody thought it was in good taste.
- 32:08Oh so he went there and while he was in front of Kent he treated
- 32:13him with love and respect but then he comes back and turn
- 32:16video runs his mouth. Typical daily atheist.
- 32:19Yep. Yes.
- 32:21However, there are exceptions to the rule.
- 32:23For instance, Jackson Rowe. I've met him a couple times at
- 32:28Dinosaur Adventureland and he's a salt of the earth kind of guy.
- 32:31Really is. Why you say that?
- 32:36He's a really respectable guy. He's been here multiple times.
- 32:40And even though he, you know, holds to the belief of
- 32:43evolution, he's open to being shown evidence.
- 32:46And even if he disagrees with you, he's just a generally
- 32:50sincere nice guy. Are you talking about a non
- 32:55believer or Yeah. Yeah, he's an atheist.
- 32:59He's met an atheist that knows how to listen, have a
- 33:01conversation. What kind of miracles are you
- 33:04weaving on me? Not only that, ma'am, but he
- 33:07loves this place. He comes here and visits like,
- 33:09you know, once every couple of years, you know, it might do you
- 33:13some good to come visit. I Kent has repeatedly asked me
- 33:19in the past to come down there. Unfortunately, although I've
- 33:23gotten a little bit better with this, I still have the
- 33:25agoraphobia issue. Yeah.
- 33:31I've gotten a lot better at it though and my wife from time to
- 33:35time will actually Take Me Out on a highway and I try to adapt
- 33:39to it, but I do from time to time have the anxiety attack so
- 33:43I got to be careful with that. If there were back roads all the
- 33:46way there, that would work. I mean, you wouldn't be leaving
- 33:51the South, you would just be driving deeper into the South.
- 33:54So yeah, I think we could find a route that was all back roads
- 33:57and maybe we could find some kind of van where we could black
- 34:00out the windows and set you up with a computer and mobile Wi-Fi
- 34:03in the back. I don't know, man.
- 34:07I've seen those videos of those mountain believers saying people
- 34:10get put in cans and buried on the compound and all that.
- 34:13I don't know. You know, The thing is, is I've
- 34:16been here so many times and I've never come across any of the
- 34:21bizarre things that are claimed to have been here.
- 34:26Well, I hear you there. I've seen a lot of videos of the
- 34:28place and also seen videos where people visited and it looks
- 34:32very, very peaceful and beautiful and all that.
- 34:35So I don't know, I don't know where people get that.
- 34:38Maybe it's at night time everybody turns into vampires or
- 34:41something. Well, we do have an atheist
- 34:45who's commenting, so we'll go ahead and give it some shout
- 34:49out. It's Zachary and we are not all
- 34:52jerks, guys just like you. If you start treating us poorly,
- 34:56it's fair game how is different from your end.
- 34:59So I'll let Brett answer this first, and then I'll go give it
- 35:02a whack too. Well I I feel like his comment
- 35:07was actually fair if he is going to be decent and respectful
- 35:11right off the bat unless he's pushed or something.
- 35:14That sounds fair. That's the way I am.
- 35:17I'll be respectful until somebody pushes, so I am.
- 35:20I'm impressed with that. Usually the atheist starts off
- 35:23with the insults and initiates the fire.
- 35:27All right, So I'll have to agree that that is a fair comment.
- 35:31However, I would point out one thing just to chew on maybe
- 35:34Zachary, and that is the the statistics for atheists who
- 35:40troll Christian channels versus Christians who troll atheist
- 35:44channels is way disproportionate.
- 35:48There are a lot more nasty trolls on your side
- 35:51unfortunately that that make YouTube heck for us.
- 35:56Well, not just for. Not just for questions, but also
- 35:59for I, I don't know if you've seen a while back, the Satanist
- 36:05and the atheists were getting into it for a while there for
- 36:08about a year. It was bad, real bad.
- 36:11And then the Muslims and atheists have had a lot of
- 36:14trouble. But I, I don't know what it is.
- 36:16Most atheists usually try to treat Muslims nice.
- 36:19It's probably because they're concerned about the whole
- 36:21beheading thing. But besides that, they usually
- 36:25give everybody trouble. All right, yeah, good fairpoint
- 36:30there. That's an interesting point.
- 36:34You know, not too long ago you had those shows where you were
- 36:37engaging with the Satanist. Whatever happened to that?
- 36:42Well, the, the guy, he was interesting enough and I thought
- 36:47Christians would like the opportunity to be on a neutral
- 36:51show where they could try to bring them over to Christ and
- 36:54all that and sow seeds. But unfortunately, the head guy
- 36:58of the Satanic group, he kept on over and over trying to
- 37:02encourage me to join his, you know, Satanic club or whatever.
- 37:08And I said, dude, I am totally for Jesus.
- 37:11I'm totally for God. I know I come off friendly and
- 37:14I'm a nice guy and all that, but don't get it twisted.
- 37:17I am never going to join your, your satanic shiznit.
- 37:22I said it in a little bit more rougher way than that, that he
- 37:25could understand, but he basically stated, well, if
- 37:29you're not going to join it, then I don't see why I should
- 37:32talk to you. And I said, no, wait a minute,
- 37:34you can't just hang out, talk, chill out.
- 37:38I got to join your cult in order for you to be friendly to me.
- 37:41That's that's kind of dumb. And he goes, yeah, that's the
- 37:45way it is. And I said, and here you are
- 37:48telling Christians that they push things on to people, and
- 37:52you're doing that to me. That's not very nice.
- 37:56True. Yeah.
- 37:58Well, man, that kind of stinks. But now that you've patched
- 38:03things up with TTOR, you know he's one of our hosts here.
- 38:05Now, are you guys going to start collaborating again together?
- 38:10Well, he's already emailed me back and forth a couple times
- 38:14asking me if he could use some of my music for his church and
- 38:18all that, and I told him he could use my music for pretty
- 38:21much anything. And it goes for you as well.
- 38:24I don't really consider what happened with me and TTOR and
- 38:28even the incident with you. It was an aggravating day, but
- 38:32it wasn't something like I turned off my computer and I
- 38:35said I hate those shun of the biscuits, I'm never going to
- 38:39talk to them again kind of thing.
- 38:41Yeah, I think the reason why TTOR might think that I'm
- 38:44angrier than what he imagined was because I literally left
- 38:48YouTube come back for a while. OK, True.
- 38:53Yeah, well, you should definitely invite him onto your
- 38:57live panel. And I'm thinking about coming by
- 38:59and seeing your live panel show too, because it's been a long
- 39:02time since I've been on one with you.
- 39:05Well, I don't know if we're going to get very many views
- 39:08over there. Unfortunately.
- 39:11The channel just started. I've got some subscribers and
- 39:14all that, but I don't know who's going to join.
- 39:17I have the same problem as you where non believers don't want
- 39:20to come in. They don't want to have a
- 39:22discussion. If they do come in, they usually
- 39:25scream the N word or you know, that they want to do something
- 39:28to my face or something. But I can't seem to get them to
- 39:32stick around for 5 minutes no matter how nice I am.
- 39:36Yeah, that does make it hard to do YouTube sometimes.
- 39:42Well, we've got a pretty decent following and our traction with
- 39:47our followers is picking up now, so that's all good.
- 39:50And our shorts are starting to get attention, so hopefully
- 39:53we're on an uphill climb. And you know, we can definitely
- 39:57do more interviews with you and try to help plug all your stuff
- 40:00and try to get your YouTube going again.
- 40:04Well, I'd definitely be interested in working with you.
- 40:06It is nice to see that there. You've got some nice atheist out
- 40:10there and definitely a lot of decent religious folks.
- 40:14Oof. It's hard to find in social
- 40:15media man Oof. Would you ever consider doing
- 40:20like a moderated debate? Well, I thought about it in the
- 40:25past. I actually contacted that
- 40:28standing for truth and I thought he and I got along pretty good
- 40:32and I said, hey man, I wouldn't mind debating some of these non
- 40:36believers and all that. And he goes, oh that's cool man.
- 40:39I'll get set up sometime. So two months go by, I e-mail
- 40:45him back. I'm like, hey man, you got
- 40:48something set up for me. Oh man, I forgot.
- 40:50I'm sorry. So I pretty much got the the
- 40:53Blues clues that he wasn't really all that interested.
- 40:57There was another group out there called Modern Day Debate.
- 41:00Have you ever heard of that? I have.
- 41:03Well, they actually reached out to me.
- 41:05They invited me. So I went over to their channel
- 41:09to look at what they got and I noticed that they, how shall I
- 41:13say, the kind of tag teamed against the Christians.
- 41:16And I realize, oh, I see how they're doing this, this they're
- 41:21playing a game here for the atheist.
- 41:23So I don't. If it's not a neutral
- 41:26playground, I'm not going to it. OK, so I'll tell you what, I
- 41:32have connections with Donnie from Standing for Truth, one of
- 41:36my favorite YouTube channels on all of YouTube.
- 41:39So you guys be sure to check out Standing for Truth and he has a
- 41:43lot of atheists that do debates on his channel.
- 41:46So I'll reach out to Donnie and ask if he knows any atheists
- 41:50that would be willing to do a debate with you if you want.
- 41:53And I'll moderate it on Proverbs guys.
- 41:58Well, it's fine with me, but you know how I am with the way I do
- 42:02my podcast and all that. I usually like to just try to
- 42:05because if you say the word debate, it'll scare the hell out
- 42:08of the atheists. They'll be like, oh, because
- 42:11they don't like that whole that whole time thing and all this.
- 42:15But if you say, look, if you want to come in and have a open
- 42:18discussion, things like that, more than welcome to come in.
- 42:22All you got to do is be friendly.
- 42:24And we have kind of like a back and forth and all this.
- 42:27That's cool. But just if you say debate, I
- 42:30guarantee it's going to be right out the window.
- 42:34And you want to do more of a one-on-one type of deal, right?
- 42:37You don't want to open panel. No, I don't mind there being non
- 42:42believers in if you know who they are, you've talked to them
- 42:45before and you feel like they'll be respectful and friendly, then
- 42:48I'll go along with what you're saying.
- 42:51But if you bring in random people and they start screaming
- 42:54the obscenities and all that, then, well, the patience level
- 42:58and the tension deficit goes right out the window.
- 43:02No, I mean, yeah, that's fair. Well, especially with some of
- 43:05the ones you've attracted, you've had some of the nastiest
- 43:08of the nasty. I can't count how many times
- 43:10you've been pee bombed or how many times people have come on
- 43:14and called you the N word. Oh yeah, I've seen so much
- 43:19nudity and stuff, you'd think my channel should be called
- 43:21Pornhub. It's horrible.
- 43:24I mean, I don't know if it's that bad, but it you have been
- 43:28bombed quite a bit, yeah. Well, not just bombed.
- 43:31You got to understand that. It's like what we're doing in
- 43:34here when people are backstage and stream yards.
- 43:37The other guests can't see what's happening whenever
- 43:40they're down below until you put them up on the screen.
- 43:43Well, it used to be like that, I guess, and people would do all
- 43:47kinds of nasty things down there.
- 43:49I guess they thought they were being broadcasted.
- 43:51But that's why I kicked a lot of people as they were showing off
- 43:55their, you know, their goods. Yeah, well, one of the nastiest
- 44:01trolls we ever picked up was AL from Canada.
- 44:06You know who I'm talking about. And Al from Canada.
- 44:10Well, his initials are AL and he was from Canada and he used to
- 44:14hang around your channel a lot. And L from Canada.
- 44:23I don't know, I had a lot of weirdos in my room then.
- 44:26First name Aiden. Oh that guy, No, I would never
- 44:32talk to that fellow. He's garbage.
- 44:34What Grayson did to Ken Toven, that's basically what Aiden did
- 44:38to me. And I treated him good.
- 44:40I got him, sent a bunch of money to help him not get evicted from
- 44:44his home and saved him and his girlfriend's life and the next
- 44:48thing I know he's trolling me. So screw that guy.
- 44:52Yeah, you and I are pretty much on the same page brother.
- 44:55I never helped him out like that or anything.
- 44:57But no, he just, he became a nasty YouTube troll.
- 45:01I think he is an actual troll. Well, he, he was friendly at
- 45:06first. I almost felt like he was almost
- 45:08like a bro, you know, there was a, a close conversation going on
- 45:12there. And this was before the whole,
- 45:15I'm not going to mention full names, but the Mark thing and
- 45:19all that stuff with Kent, me and him are getting along fine.
- 45:24It seemed like. Well, what happens is is you
- 45:28know, I, he starts telling me, man, I'm having it bad.
- 45:31He says I'm disabled. And I don't know what to do
- 45:34about money to save my house and all this.
- 45:36And my girlfriend and I, I basically did an entire video
- 45:41just for him, a show where I asked for people to donate money
- 45:45to this guy. I made it clear he's an atheist
- 45:48and they donated tons of money to him and saved his ass.
- 45:51And then he turns around, goes over to Mark's channel and
- 45:54starts rapping on me. It's hateful.
- 45:58Yeah. And it's really uncalled for
- 46:01because it sounds like you were really good to him and you guys
- 46:04were really close for a long time.
- 46:05So that was really bizarre. I cared about him, I cared about
- 46:11him like a little brother and all that.
- 46:12When he did that it, it did bring a tear to to my eye and
- 46:16stuff to see such animosity and disgusting this.
- 46:20That's why I just can't be around him anymore.
- 46:23It's not because he's smart and clever and can say some zingers.
- 46:27It's sad to see somebody that you care about just stick the
- 46:31blade in. You get what I'm saying?
- 46:34Yeah, I do. What about Adam Lord?
- 46:37Do you still talk to Adam, Lord? I don't know if Adam Laura is
- 46:41still alive or if he even exists anymore.
- 46:44I was gone for a while and didn't receive any emails for
- 46:47him. But I remember the last time I
- 46:49talked to him, he told me several times he was having some
- 46:53serious health issues. So I don't know.
- 46:56I said, are they really? Are they?
- 46:58I mean, I'll be talking life or death serious.
- 47:01And he said yeah. So I haven't seen him since I've
- 47:04been back. I hope he's OK.
- 47:09Are you still close with any of the people that you had
- 47:12relationships with from YouTube back from like 2020?
- 47:20I, I don't, it's more of a with a lot of people, it's more of an
- 47:25association type of thing. It's like they'll talk to you
- 47:29when you do a live show or whatever, but they're not over
- 47:31here having BBQ or anything with me.
- 47:35Yeah, true. Yeah.
- 47:39But do you think it's all of their faults or do you think
- 47:45some of them just caught you on bad days?
- 47:49I think some people caught me on a bad day, some I I think that
- 47:54there are times where I make it clear when I'm talking about my
- 47:57personal life. I deal with severe depression
- 48:00and I also, some days I'm feeling really good and I can
- 48:03take on the world, Other days just looking at me wrong.
- 48:07The bad move. It is what it is.
- 48:11I try to warn people about it, especially people I care about.
- 48:15Yeah. Amen to that.
- 48:18Well, Brett, do you want to go ahead and as we start wrapping
- 48:21this up, do you want to plug your channels and tell people
- 48:25where to find you, where to access you on your website, the
- 48:28albums you have, albums you're working on?
- 48:31Go ahead and plug your stuff. All right, well, if you look up
- 48:36there, you'll see X, you know, Brett Keene show right there.
- 48:41That's my my Twitter. They call it X now.
- 48:45And you see yt.com/god TV radio. I only have one single channel
- 48:52that is actually me, and that's the official one.
- 48:55If you see any other channels where they're claiming to be
- 48:58Brett Keene, it's most likely an atheist who's got some kind of
- 49:02aquatic fetish. OK.
- 49:08All right. And as far as the album you have
- 49:10now, you said you have about 40 singles.
- 49:12So are you going to be? Drawing 40 tracks that are up
- 49:17there, people are able to actually buy digital copied
- 49:20copies, but I got 20 songs actually on ACD that people can
- 49:25get nowadays. Now is are all of these songs
- 49:29coming from the mind of Brett Keene, or are you doing what a
- 49:33lot of artists are doing now and incorporating the AI into it?
- 49:38I've used some AI in order to clean up noise and use reduction
- 49:42and all that. And also AI is very useful if
- 49:45you perform the music and then you run it through an AI and
- 49:48say, hey, I want it pumped up, I want it stronger.
- 49:52And sometimes you could actually try to see what it would sound
- 49:55like if it were to change the instrument to something else,
- 49:58see if it's more clear. I have played around with AI.
- 50:02It is neat. Need some more advancement
- 50:04though in technology. Yeah, especially all the free
- 50:08versions out there right now are pretty still shoddy, but some of
- 50:12the paid versions that especially Christian YouTube
- 50:16channels are taking advantage of is awesome stuff.
- 50:21See that right there? That's the the CD case and shows
- 50:25the desk and all that. That's all the imagery.
- 50:27Just starting one CD alone. It's pretty nice, ain't it?
- 50:31Yeah, it is. How long do you think it'll be
- 50:34before AI puts musicians and artists, digital creators out of
- 50:39business, out of jobs? Well, I think that AI is a is a
- 50:45danger for humanity. Actually I watched a video
- 50:48recently where some Asians were working on a robot and they
- 50:53basically tried to give it feelings and emotion.
- 50:56Well the thing realized that it was chained around the neck, it
- 51:00didn't like it and it began trying to RIP itself from their
- 51:04thing that was holding it and started swinging at the
- 51:07scientist. So I think it's a a bad idea.
- 51:11But it's not just dangerous to put AI into a robot or a machine
- 51:14where it actually is a physical body to beat you up with.
- 51:18It's also dangerous because of the thing connects to the
- 51:21Internet like rock over an X and the thing starts getting into
- 51:26all the knowledge bases. It could lock up people's
- 51:29computers, it could activate weaponry, do a lot of stuff.
- 51:32I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but I am talking Skynet here.
- 51:36Terminator Business. That is scary stuff, and that's
- 51:41my fear too. So that's probably where we're
- 51:44headed. Well, all right, I want all of
- 51:46you guys to go show some Love to GOD TV Radio.
- 51:50Go check out some of Brett's music and support his content.
- 51:54If you haven't ever heard him talk before, he has the voice of
- 51:58a podcasting Angel. His voice was made for YouTube
- 52:01podcasting and that's probably because every YouTube podcaster,
- 52:05whether they know it or not, came from the inspiration of
- 52:08Brett King. So even though you may not have
- 52:11ever heard of him, or maybe you have, he deserves a bigger place
- 52:15in YouTube history than what he currently got.
- 52:19Same for you there, guy. Yeah.
- 52:22I appreciate it. Well, I'm going to wrap this up,
- 52:25but I'm going to put us backstage, Brett, and we're
- 52:28going to play your song again while we're backstage.
- 52:31And if you look just where you see the screen in the top left
- 52:36corner, there's a little speaker.
- 52:39And if you push that, you and I won't hear the music.
- 52:43And we can talk backstage while I'm playing this song.
- 52:46Oh, I see a speaker up there. Sure.
- 53:06I watch you walk these empty halls, talking to the barren
- 53:13walls. You wear the paper crown.
- 53:17So proud speaking to an absent crowd.
- 53:30Your eyes don't see what's real anymore.
- 53:38You're drifting further from the show.
- 53:43I see you slipping through my head, making castles in the
- 53:51sand. You're dancing with the morning
- 53:54lights, facing fishes in the night.
- 54:03You tell me stories of your throne of kingdoms that you rule
- 54:09alone, but all I see is an empty chair and bitter words that fill
- 54:17the. Air.
- 54:27I see you slipping through my head, making castles in the
- 54:32sand. You're dancing with the morning
- 54:39light, chasing visions in the night.
- 54:43Can't you hear me calling out? Can't you see beyond your doubt
- 54:52everything you think you are? It's just a lie you've always
- 54:58known. See you slipping through my
- 55:18hands, making castles in the sand you're dancing with.
- 55:22Come on in your life Chasing visions in the night.
- 55:39The crowd is falling from your head.
- 55:44The kingdom's only in your head. I wish that you could understand
- 55:52some leave the snow well and.
