Three weeks in, Sarah had a crisis.
She yelled at Jake. She scrolled for 40 minutes on a Wednesday afternoon when she had real work to do. She missed the gap twice in her conversation with her mother and didn’t notice until she walked home.
She told Maya, over lunch, that she thought she’d lost it, whatever it was that she’d had three weeks previously. “I think I’m a fraud.”
Maya looked up from her coffee and said “were you twenty posts in before you got to the gap on Wednesday or was it ten?”
Sarah thought about it and said “ten maybe twelve”…
