- 0:00Speaker 1: So this is what I when we generally start with
- 0:02Speaker 1: to see how instinct.
- 0:03Speaker 2: We are as a group.
- 0:05Speaker 1: I want you all to say, table read gateway on
- 0:09Speaker 1: the count of three in a good voice.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Camp Clark one two great, table read gateway.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Yeah, steaks, I steaks, yep.
- 0:28Speaker 3: Why is it into number two school though I just
- 0:30Speaker 3: pushed throttles to full flight.
- 0:32Speaker 2: There must be a flame out again.
- 0:34Speaker 1: We start checklist.
- 0:36Speaker 4: We're losing outs two just cross flight level two zero
- 0:38Speaker 4: zero now at one niner zero, dropping fast.
- 0:43Speaker 1: I apologize art.
- 0:44Speaker 5: This passenger says it's.
- 0:45Speaker 1: A CIA agent or t I need the radio. Get out,
- 0:48Speaker 1: whoever you are. Engine two not responding to the radio.
- 0:52Speaker 1: I need to speak the language right now.
- 0:54Speaker 3: If I don't get the engine restarted, we lay crash.
- 0:57Speaker 1: We turn to your seat. That's in order.
- 0:58Speaker 6: The engine is gone. Soon you'll lose hydraulic pressure and
- 1:01Speaker 6: flight control. We will crash. But first I need the radio.
- 1:06Speaker 4: Ten thousand feet there's no response to reach our procedures.
- 1:10Speaker 1: It's like the engine isn't even there. Why do Tendant
- 1:14Speaker 1: prepare the cabins for impact well.
- 1:16Speaker 4: After caution, we've losted hydraulic pressure and flight control.
- 1:19Speaker 1: Give me that radio. I have critical information about neutralizing
- 1:22Speaker 1: the antitudes? Did cause this crack?
- 1:24Speaker 4: Often we're polonel, give me the fucking rain he sent,
- 1:27Speaker 4: Get back to your seat.
- 1:30Speaker 7: Ah, you shot him?
- 1:32Speaker 1: Why would you give me the radio stout?
- 1:36Speaker 8: I have.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Hello. This is Lieutenant Colonel Wayne M. McDonald retired, and
- 1:50Speaker 1: I have a story to tell you. In nineteen seventy seven,
- 1:53Speaker 1: I got the assignment to investigate and report on the
- 1:55Speaker 1: Gateway Project, a means for man to venture beyond time
- 1:59Speaker 1: and space?
- 2:00Speaker 6: Could we spy on.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Russia from a great distance? Were they spying on us already?
- 2:05Speaker 1: I was a man tasked with finding answers that were
- 2:07Speaker 1: needed and quickly. I served a tour of duty and
- 2:12Speaker 1: US Army intelligence in the early seventies known as Project
- 2:15Speaker 1: four oh four. I was in Laos covertly assisting US
- 2:18Speaker 1: interests in Vietnam. The report I submitted got me this
- 2:22Speaker 1: far more controversial assignment. I discovered things you might not believe.
- 2:27Speaker 6: But should.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Do a quick Google search for analysis and Assessment of
- 2:31Speaker 1: Gateway Process CIA. You'll find an actual document from the
- 2:35Speaker 1: CIA website written by none other than yours. Truly, click
- 2:40Speaker 1: on that and have a read. Be advised they might
- 2:44Speaker 1: open a file on you for looking at the report.
- 2:46Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I don't work there anymore. In nineteen seventy seven, I
- 2:51Speaker 1: was stationed at Fort George G. Mead Army intelligence base
- 2:54Speaker 1: in Maryland near Washington, DC, five thousand acres of military
- 2:58Speaker 1: personnel doing tops egret intelligence work keeping the free world safe.
- 3:03Speaker 1: At the time, we were transcribing and translating all of
- 3:06Speaker 1: Russia's radio and TV broadcasts, thousands of hours of tapes analyzed,
- 3:11Speaker 1: looking for patterns codes. It was a standard day in
- 3:15Speaker 1: my lab until it wasn't. I've gotten parsons. When you
- 3:21Speaker 1: have today's radio transmissions entered, get started on the task
- 3:23Speaker 1: news feed.
- 3:24Speaker 9: I'll have it done within the hour. Lieutenant Colonel McDonald.
- 3:28Speaker 1: General, adis a rare pleasure. I didn't realize we had
- 3:32Speaker 1: an inspection today.
- 3:33Speaker 6: No inspection, General, This room is secure and silent.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Yes, sir, fully TSSC, I secure my briefcase.
- 3:41Speaker 6: Please is this serious?
- 3:47Speaker 1: I think I saw this on Star Trek last week.
- 3:49Speaker 10: Do I impress you as a joking man? No, sir,
- 3:53Speaker 10: everyone out, But Lieutenant Colonel McDonald.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Sir, you heard the general.
- 3:59Speaker 6: Ever listen to this.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Give you that radio. I have a critical information about
- 4:09Speaker 1: detrilizing the entity. Get cause this crowd. I've been with
- 4:11Speaker 1: Alope say about the group? Was that the plane that
- 4:15Speaker 1: went down last month? Yes, terrorists posing a CIA a lunatic.
- 4:20Speaker 10: No, In fact, that was a legitimate CIA operation Agent
- 4:25Speaker 10: Manny Orties. Limited details on the operation are in this file.
- 4:31Speaker 10: You think the Russians or some other hostile force.
- 4:36Speaker 1: You think a hostile force brought that plane down trying
- 4:39Speaker 1: to get to someone.
- 4:40Speaker 6: What I think is in being discussed. Just your orders,
- 4:44Speaker 6: Roger Letzer.
- 4:46Speaker 10: The cockpit recording you just heard has been shared with
- 4:49Speaker 10: fewer than ten people. That portion was cut out of
- 4:52Speaker 10: the official NTSB version.
- 4:55Speaker 1: I don't understand.
- 4:58Speaker 10: Sometime back science it Sack Bentof made us aware of
- 5:02Speaker 10: some facts, facts regarding expanded states of consciousness that allowed
- 5:05Speaker 10: traveling by thought. The Russians had been studying it for years.
- 5:10Speaker 10: They had been trying to get to our man bent Off.
- 5:13Speaker 1: And you think they crashed that plane?
- 5:15Speaker 6: Ortiz was a decoy flying under Bentoff's name.
- 5:19Speaker 1: How did they bring it down?
- 5:21Speaker 10: That's what you're going to find out. You're not going
- 5:24Speaker 10: to mention that crash or recording. Ever, the world's reaction
- 5:28Speaker 10: to such information would be catastrophic, Yes.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Sir, is is this another MK ultra.
- 5:35Speaker 6: No.
- 5:36Speaker 10: You'll create a report, but it won't mention that incident
- 5:40Speaker 10: or our spying or our missing spy planes.
- 5:44Speaker 1: The pair of SR seventy ones had crashed. I thought
- 5:46Speaker 1: they were mechanical issues.
- 5:48Speaker 6: So did we until we got that recording.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Sir. It all seems rather incredible. Initially, I'm inclined to
- 5:57Speaker 1: be skeptical.
- 5:58Speaker 10: You'll be on a transport to Monroe Institute in Virginia
- 6:01Speaker 10: at oh six hundred tomorrow. You're going to get to
- 6:04Speaker 10: the bottom of this. I want facts. That buzz box
- 6:08Speaker 10: on your belt.
- 6:10Speaker 1: It's a pager. General, you could reach me anywhere in
- 6:12Speaker 1: the world. My assistant, Captain Parson's handles all.
- 6:14Speaker 6: Messaging stay handy.
- 6:16Speaker 1: Yes, sir, I was given a puzzle without all the pieces.
- 6:21Speaker 1: But on the ninth of June nineteen eighty three, I
- 6:24Speaker 1: issued a final report. Sadly, before I finished that report,
- 6:28Speaker 1: our brilliant scientist Itsak Bentoff died on a doomed airliner
- 6:32Speaker 1: in Chicago. Oddly, this time, even the cockpit voice recorder
- 6:37Speaker 1: failed before anything else.
- 6:39Speaker 6: No clues.
- 6:40Speaker 1: You can google that too. American Airlines Flight one ninety
- 6:43Speaker 1: one it was a serious setback. This is the story
- 6:48Speaker 1: of that report before and after it was released by
- 6:50Speaker 1: the CIA, the things I learned and the places I saw.
- 6:55Speaker 1: But please read my report. You tasked me to provide
- 7:01Speaker 1: an assessment of the Gateway experience in terms of its
- 7:03Speaker 1: mechanics and ultimate practicality. As I set out to fulfill
- 7:07Speaker 1: that tasking, it soon became clear that in order to
- 7:09Speaker 1: assess the validity and practicality of the process, I needed
- 7:13Speaker 1: to do enough supporting research and analysis to fully understand
- 7:16Speaker 1: how and why the process works. Frankly, sir, that proved
- 7:20Speaker 1: to be an extremely involved and difficult business.
- 7:26Speaker 5: Follow me to the lab, sir, Mister Monroe was waiting.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Lieutenant Colonel McDonald, Nice to meet you. I'm Robert Monroe.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Welcome to my lab. Sit down.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Please thank you Monroe. I've read the research.
- 7:42Speaker 2: You think it sounds like a bunch of bullshit, don't.
- 7:45Speaker 1: You, sir? My personal opinions don't enter into this. I'm
- 7:48Speaker 1: here to fully evaluate your process from an objective viewpoint.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Monroe wasn't dumb. He knew it really did sound like bullshit,
- 7:56Speaker 1: but he needed credibility with the military, and my report
- 8:00Speaker 1: could provide it.
- 8:01Speaker 2: You've been ordered to keep an open mind.
- 8:05Speaker 1: That is an accurate assessment.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Can you start training tomorrow?
- 8:10Speaker 1: Sure, I need somewhere to drop my personal items, but
- 8:12Speaker 1: i'd like to start today.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Perfect. I'll have Nurse Fields show you to your quarters
- 8:17Speaker 2: and we'll get started.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Initially, based on conversations with a physician who took the
- 8:22Speaker 1: gateway training with me, I had recourse to the biomedical
- 8:25Speaker 1: models developed by Itsak bent Off to obtain information concerning
- 8:29Speaker 1: the physical aspects of the process. The long hours of
- 8:32Speaker 1: training were eased somewhat by the caring hands of Nurse Fields,
- 8:36Speaker 1: but even she turned out to be more complicated than
- 8:39Speaker 1: she first appeared.
- 8:41Speaker 9: Please lay back down, Lieutenant Colonel. I'm going to attach
- 8:43Speaker 9: some electrodes. Relax, get comfortable.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Will I be hypnotized?
- 8:48Speaker 5: Probably not today, but eventually. Yes.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Do I have time for a cigarette?
- 8:54Speaker 5: Nicotine disrupts the process. Are you nervous?
- 8:59Speaker 1: Why would I be nerve I'm just listening to some sounds.
- 9:03Speaker 5: Did you read all of the materials you may want to.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Mister Monroe?
- 9:12Speaker 2: Are you ready, Lieutenant Colonel?
- 9:14Speaker 1: Ready as I can be.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Okay, Now you're going to listen to some sounds and
- 9:20Speaker 2: speech in this sensory deprivation chamber. A series of tones
- 9:24Speaker 2: will help bring you into hemispherical synchronization. Left brain and
- 9:28Speaker 2: right brain broad into sync. We call it hemicyink. Okay,
- 9:34Speaker 2: you will note flashing lights on the ceiling as you
- 9:37Speaker 2: reach hemsink, both halfs of your brain finally working as one.
- 9:42Speaker 2: If you need us, we'll be in the control room.
- 9:47Speaker 2: All right. Relax and observe the flow of energy around you.
- 9:51Speaker 2: You'll be guided through each of these focus levels. You'll
- 9:54Speaker 2: find increasing abilities in each as you rise.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Upping my focus level huh sounds like mumbo jumbo.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Relax and observe. You'll be aware of each focus level
- 10:08Speaker 2: and its meaning as we progress today, I will aim
- 10:12Speaker 2: for Focus twelve, where you can traverse time and space.
- 10:16Speaker 5: I'll join you there Focus twelve. The standard protocol.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Was suspended for these tests. Lieutenant Colonel McDonald has had
- 10:25Speaker 2: years of military training, a level of discipline we can
- 10:28Speaker 2: only approximate here. We will forego many of the early sessions.
- 10:34Speaker 5: Yes, mister Monroe, continue the preparations.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Nurse Fields, have my hypnotic items ready, please.
- 10:42Speaker 1: I admit to seeing little promise and gateway. At first,
- 10:45Speaker 1: I would put the headphones on and lay back, following
- 10:48Speaker 1: Monroe's voice in the various tones. Frequently I just fell asleep.
- 10:53Speaker 1: But I was surprised to discover that after a while,
- 10:56Speaker 1: images started swirling out of the darkness.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Oh was right.
- 11:01Speaker 1: Eventually I was able to advance in the training with
- 11:04Speaker 1: some effort and gained new abilities, But all attempts to
- 11:08Speaker 1: attain usable intelligence on Russia ultimately failed. So a few
- 11:12Speaker 1: weeks later they got me closer, much closer. They flew
- 11:17Speaker 1: me out to a secret submersible base next to the USSR.
- 11:22Speaker 1: I found myself one thousand feet below the sea of Okotsk.
- 11:25Speaker 1: In seventy one, the CIA had discovered a Soviet deep
- 11:28Speaker 1: sea transmission line. We wanted to listen in, so we
- 11:31Speaker 1: installed the tap. This was Operation Ivy Bells. It was
- 11:35Speaker 1: a joint CIA and NSA project with help from the
- 11:38Speaker 1: US Navy. You can google that too. Ivy Bells, fun
- 11:43Speaker 1: little project. They decided it would be good to physically
- 11:46Speaker 1: transport me to the undersea Soviet military transmission lines.
- 11:50Speaker 11: So there I was, sir, we're here in the cable
- 11:53Speaker 11: tap location. Time to do your thing. I'll connect your
- 11:56Speaker 11: headset to the feed.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Ready.
- 12:00Speaker 6: It worked.
- 12:02Speaker 1: I had followed the training and achieved Focus twelve in Gateway.
- 12:06Speaker 1: This is one of the highest states of consciousness. It
- 12:09Speaker 1: unlocks the ability to remote view at will, unrestrained by
- 12:13Speaker 1: time or distance. But a surprise awaited me there. I
- 12:17Speaker 1: was investigating the secret missile base, invisible to the motionless soldiers,
- 12:21Speaker 1: frozen in time. There, I was trying to read a
- 12:24Speaker 1: computer screen when I realized that one of the other
- 12:27Speaker 1: beings there was different. It was like me, unbound by
- 12:31Speaker 1: time or location, floating. Hello, priviet. My Russian had an accent,
- 12:42Speaker 1: but this simple hello should have worked. The entity merely
- 12:46Speaker 1: scurried up a wall and vanished into the ceiling. Hey wait,
- 12:52Speaker 1: all My further attempts to locate the entity that day failed.
- 12:56Speaker 1: I returned to my body on the sub and got
- 12:58Speaker 1: another surprise. The pilot. Hey, did you see that thing
- 13:05Speaker 1: out there looking into the porthole?
- 13:08Speaker 11: Sir, not calling you a liar, but we're one thousand
- 13:11Speaker 11: feet down nothing but fishies out there.
- 13:15Speaker 1: I can see it right now there, it's looking at me.
- 13:20Speaker 11: Okay, okay, copy that, sir. I'll note it in the
- 13:22Speaker 11: log coupard.
- 13:26Speaker 1: They didn't believe me at first, who would, But I
- 13:30Speaker 1: would meet the entity again. I included a couple paragraphs
- 13:34Speaker 1: about this in my final report, a warning more or
- 13:37Speaker 1: less to those who would follow be intellectually prepared to
- 13:42Speaker 1: react to possible encounters with intelligent non corporal energy forms
- 13:46Speaker 1: when time space boundaries are exceeded. It may also be
- 13:50Speaker 1: possible that individuals encounter thought forms while in an out
- 13:54Speaker 1: of body state, which mingle with physical reality and are
- 13:57Speaker 1: not easily differentiated. Yeah, you heard that right, word for
- 14:03Speaker 1: word from an official CIA report. I knew there was
- 14:07Speaker 1: much more to investigate and explain. Meanwhile, I kept working
- 14:11Speaker 1: back at the institute. Next time on Gateway, things heat
- 14:15Speaker 1: up when I finally find that Russian missile base. But
- 14:18Speaker 1: that's not even the big event. Courtesy of a surprise
- 14:21Speaker 1: guest visitor, I find my way back in time, all
- 14:24Speaker 1: the way to Nazi occupied France in nineteen forty four,
- 14:28Speaker 1: but in more danger than I ever was before.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Hey, before we move on, can we do your mini
- 14:37Speaker 3: sub Captain again?
- 14:39Speaker 2: Kevin? And like?
- 14:40Speaker 3: So, since we have yours, can we do one where
- 14:42Speaker 3: you have fun with it but also projects?
- 14:45Speaker 1: As you said, but I, especially since you say.
- 14:47Speaker 3: Cuckoo berg later, I'd love for you to cavin it up.
- 14:50Speaker 11: Sure, So where do you want to start from.
- 14:52Speaker 3: Just take it from that initial one because we got
- 14:53Speaker 3: the more official version that Jack wanted.
- 14:55Speaker 2: But for your do we you know, we'll come in
- 14:58Speaker 2: at zeke.
- 15:02Speaker 3: I want to grab the server nearing the cable tapplication,
- 15:04Speaker 3: So the middle of.
- 15:05Speaker 11: Thirteen, oh, copy got oh thirteen guys.
- 15:08Speaker 3: Because we got a more formal version. Now we'll have
- 15:10Speaker 3: here so that when you say cucku ber.
- 15:12Speaker 6: You can like you hit them.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Got him?
- 15:16Speaker 1: Are we reading all the way through?
- 15:18Speaker 6: Uh no?
- 15:18Speaker 3: I think let's just do a pick up with any
- 15:20Speaker 3: sub to ready, and then we'll go to fourteen.
- 15:22Speaker 11: Okay, sir, we're nearing the cable tap location. Time to
- 15:28Speaker 11: do your thing. I'll connect your headset to the feed.
- 15:34Speaker 3: Right through to fourteen and then we'll just pick it
- 15:37Speaker 3: up from a pilot.
- 15:38Speaker 6: Do you see that.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Pilot?
- 15:42Speaker 12: Hey?
- 15:42Speaker 1: You see that that thing out there looking into the porthole.
- 15:46Speaker 11: Sir, not calling you a liar, but we're one thousand
- 15:49Speaker 11: feet down nothing but fishies out here.
- 15:53Speaker 1: I see it right now there. It's it's looking at me.
- 15:58Speaker 11: Okay, okay, copy that, sir. I'll note it in the
- 16:01Speaker 11: lock cou coop bird.
- 16:16Speaker 13: This is the first step along your path to a gateway,
- 16:20Speaker 13: a gateway beyond which is discovery, your own discovery of reality,
- 16:25Speaker 13: of truth, of who and what you are now a
- 16:30Speaker 13: simple preparation. Because of the special audio techniques used, it's
- 16:35Speaker 13: important that certain sounds reach your right ear and others
- 16:38Speaker 13: your left ear. To be sure of this, you should
- 16:41Speaker 13: be hearing my voice in your right ear at this moment.
- 16:44Speaker 13: If you are not hearing my voice in your right ear,
- 16:47Speaker 13: turn your headphones around now so that you are hearing
- 16:50Speaker 13: my voice in your right ear.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Hello listener, Lieutenant Colonel Wayne M. McDonald here. Last time
- 17:00Speaker 1: you found out why I issued a report to the
- 17:02Speaker 1: CIA about Gateway and its ability to let you traverse
- 17:06Speaker 1: time and space via your mind. This time we delve
- 17:09Speaker 1: deeper into the mystery.
- 17:12Speaker 9: Welckle up, Lieutenant Colonel MacDonald. Good to see you back
- 17:17Speaker 9: with us. You're looking well.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Thank you. Nurse That Many submarine was quite an experience.
- 17:23Speaker 5: Mister Monroe says, you're making great progress. Today.
- 17:26Speaker 9: We're moving into hypnotism. Should help you concentrate.
- 17:29Speaker 1: H It'll help me get closer to finding what happened
- 17:31Speaker 1: to my father. I'll try it once I achieved Focus twelve.
- 17:36Speaker 1: I wanted to know what else I could do naturally.
- 17:39Speaker 1: I wanted to use it to find unobtainable answers, answers
- 17:43Speaker 1: to the questions that hang on through the years, to
- 17:47Speaker 1: the mystery of Saint Mary at Gleice. On June seventh,
- 17:49Speaker 1: nineteen forty four, my dad made it ashore at Normandy.
- 17:54Speaker 1: It was even a photo, but he vanished a day
- 17:57Speaker 1: later and some merit glease and was declared. I spent
- 18:02Speaker 1: my life wanting to know what happened. At school, a
- 18:05Speaker 1: boy had started a rumor that my dad was a coward,
- 18:08Speaker 1: a drunken deserter who ran off with a French whore.
- 18:12Speaker 1: I still remember how it felt when I heard that,
- 18:15Speaker 1: and how it felt breaking that kid's nose.
- 18:20Speaker 2: How is everyone today? Is our star subject prepared?
- 18:24Speaker 5: He is wired up, Chamber is ready to I want.
- 18:27Speaker 1: You to prep me for a trip to nineteen forty
- 18:29Speaker 1: four in France.
- 18:30Speaker 2: I know it's important to you, but that's way off
- 18:34Speaker 2: our program. Let's revisit this after you've progressed further. Okay.
- 18:39Speaker 2: We need to prove that we can get past the
- 18:42Speaker 2: information distortion issue and provide actionable intelligence, and we need
- 18:47Speaker 2: to figure out those entities you've talked about I.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Don't think you understand. When I'm moving into those other areas.
- 18:54Speaker 1: I hear voices, people talking. Sometimes I know them conversations
- 18:59Speaker 1: from the past. I'm pretty sure I hear them my dad.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Stay inside your energy resonance balloon and ignore those voices.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Continue on into that missile site. We need details.
- 19:14Speaker 1: If you want me to report that your method works,
- 19:16Speaker 1: you need to prove it to me first, then it
- 19:19Speaker 1: goes in my report.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Let's agree on a deal. You get me the location
- 19:23Speaker 2: of the missile base. I'll facilitate you visiting.
- 19:26Speaker 1: D Day Roger that and finding my father.
- 19:31Speaker 2: I can help you. Hold on. Have you heard of
- 19:34Speaker 2: psilocybin excuse me, known as magic mushrooms?
- 19:39Speaker 1: Yes, I've heard of those.
- 19:41Speaker 2: How do you feel about them?
- 19:43Speaker 1: They're illegal, and I put my assistant on report for
- 19:45Speaker 1: using them in laos.
- 19:47Speaker 2: They may help you get further into gateway.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Wait, you're suggesting illicit narcotics psychedelics.
- 19:53Speaker 2: Actually, if you want progress, we've got to understand where
- 19:58Speaker 2: this is going.
- 19:58Speaker 1: I am prepared to plunge into illegality.
- 20:02Speaker 2: I'm glad you have plenty of time to invest and
- 20:05Speaker 2: can forego their assistance.
- 20:09Speaker 1: My mother's in a home and failing, I need to
- 20:11Speaker 1: tell her the truth before she's gone.
- 20:13Speaker 2: This could help you get her the answers in time.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Perhaps I could make a single exception, Is there any danger?
- 20:25Speaker 1: All experience unpleasantness?
- 20:29Speaker 2: Take these then lay back in forty five minutes or so,
- 20:32Speaker 2: we'll run the audio. Enjoy your journey, then have another
- 20:37Speaker 2: look for that missile base.
- 20:38Speaker 1: Yes, it went against everything I stood for. At least
- 20:42Speaker 1: then Vietnam was a war against bra burning hippies, at
- 20:47Speaker 1: least to some of my colleagues.
- 20:50Speaker 6: But I tried it.
- 20:51Speaker 1: I was going to eventually find my father, the truth
- 20:54Speaker 1: about my father, but I needed to find that missile base.
- 20:57Speaker 1: First waves of light washed over me. I imagined a
- 21:03Speaker 1: field of grain waving in the wind, waving at me.
- 21:08Speaker 1: I found myself giggling at ridiculous thoughts, and I found
- 21:12Speaker 1: it worked. Does that make me a hypocrite? Life eventually
- 21:18Speaker 1: does this to a.
- 21:18Speaker 6: Lot of us.
- 21:21Speaker 5: Yes, I'll be right down. I need to see another
- 21:26Speaker 5: patient for a moment.
- 21:27Speaker 1: I'll be back to make an omelet. You've got to
- 21:30Speaker 1: break some eggs. Nurse Fields went to visit them while
- 21:33Speaker 1: I entered the world of altered states. I didn't know yet,
- 21:37Speaker 1: but there were secret rooms in the basement at the
- 21:39Speaker 1: facility where they kept the broken eggs.
- 21:42Speaker 6: She was visiting them.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Yes, doctor Alexander, are you running more tests upstairs?
- 21:48Speaker 5: How is that your concern?
- 21:49Speaker 3: Because my comatose patient just sat up and moved his eyes.
- 21:53Speaker 9: That's not funny. You turned him into a zombie. You
- 21:57Speaker 9: fix him.
- 21:58Speaker 6: I'm not joking.
- 21:59Speaker 3: For just a few seconds he sat up.
- 22:03Speaker 5: I don't know what to tell you.
- 22:05Speaker 6: If only Hitzack was here, he could figure this out.
- 22:07Speaker 5: They've hidden him away where no one will find him.
- 22:09Speaker 3: Hidden no way so well, they effectively halted his work.
- 22:14Speaker 3: Bad guys won Maybe you know where they hit him.
- 22:18Speaker 9: In any case, it' zuc isn't here, and Captain demark
- 22:21Speaker 9: here has gone off on a mental walk about forever.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Apparently they'll find his way back.
- 22:28Speaker 5: Eight months is a long time to be clicked out.
- 22:31Speaker 3: I really believe your tests upstairs are having an effect.
- 22:34Speaker 3: If we could coordinate, get in touch with.
- 22:36Speaker 9: Bentov random neurons firing, he's mentally gone, just like the
- 22:42Speaker 9: poor SAPs in the next two rooms. We're taking a
- 22:45Speaker 9: big risk putting McDonald through it.
- 22:47Speaker 3: We've improved the process, refined it. If I could just
- 22:50Speaker 3: see McDonald's.
- 22:51Speaker 5: Charts not gonna happen.
- 22:53Speaker 3: So long, doctor, Yes, I'll see you at your performance
- 22:57Speaker 3: review next week.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Good luck.
- 22:59Speaker 9: By the way, I sometimes leave things on my desk
- 23:04Speaker 9: at night. Uh huh, Lieutenant Colonel McDonald, come.
- 23:11Speaker 1: In nurse fields. This is unexpected.
- 23:16Speaker 2: What can I do for you?
- 23:17Speaker 9: I hope you're enjoying your free time. I wanted to
- 23:20Speaker 9: check on you and bring.
- 23:21Speaker 1: You this on my pager and realized i'd left it
- 23:24Speaker 1: in a lab.
- 23:25Speaker 9: Mister Munroe had me remove it so you wouldn't be distracted.
- 23:30Speaker 1: Wait, don't you have weekends off?
- 23:33Speaker 5: Not usually. I have tomorrow off to go to church.
- 23:37Speaker 6: Very good.
- 23:38Speaker 1: I'll be traveling to Staten Island to visit my mother.
- 23:41Speaker 5: She's in an elder care facility there. Correct.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Yes, she has good days and bad days. I'm hoping
- 23:47Speaker 1: to get some answers about my dad for before she's
- 23:50Speaker 1: completely gone.
- 23:52Speaker 9: Best wishes on your visit. Have you noticed anything odd
- 23:57Speaker 9: during the test here?
- 24:00Speaker 6: Well?
- 24:00Speaker 1: Odd has new meanings? Now what do you mean exactly?
- 24:04Speaker 5: I don't know. Do you ever get lost out there?
- 24:09Speaker 2: No?
- 24:10Speaker 1: I can always just transition back to focus ten, then
- 24:12Speaker 1: focus three, and then poof, I'm right back here.
- 24:16Speaker 5: Sorry, I bothered you.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Oh, if something comes up, just call my contact number
- 24:22Speaker 1: from the base. Captain Parsons can reach me.
- 24:24Speaker 5: Yes, have a nice visit with your mother.
- 24:26Speaker 9: I'll ask the facilities people to drop some flowers off
- 24:29Speaker 9: before you go.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Her visit didn't make me feel at ease. In fact,
- 24:33Speaker 1: quite the opposite. When the flower showed up an hour later,
- 24:37Speaker 1: I was still thinking about her, worried.
- 24:39Speaker 6: Look what did she know?
- 24:42Speaker 1: What wasn't she telling me?
- 24:45Speaker 14: She's been fairly good this week, had a couple better days,
- 24:48Speaker 14: even did a painting than asking about you a lot.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I've been out of town on a mission.
- 24:56Speaker 1: When I finish, I'll be able to visit more, I hope.
- 24:59Speaker 14: So she's always talking about you, gets her days and
- 25:03Speaker 14: visits confused. Sometimes be adaptable, keep smiling even if she
- 25:07Speaker 14: doesn't make perfect sense. Missus McDonald, your son Wayne is
- 25:12Speaker 14: here to see you.
- 25:13Speaker 5: Well, what are you waiting for?
- 25:16Speaker 8: Send him in?
- 25:18Speaker 14: See what I mean? Still get that spark going in?
- 25:23Speaker 8: Wayne?
- 25:25Speaker 15: Have you been eating properly?
- 25:27Speaker 1: You look thin? Yes, mother had roast beef last night
- 25:32Speaker 1: and I brought you something.
- 25:34Speaker 8: Oh, oh, here, lovely, there's a vase in the bathroom.
- 25:40Speaker 1: Where would you like.
- 25:41Speaker 15: Him there by the window.
- 25:45Speaker 1: The red one's blow in the sunlight. Have you been, mom?
- 25:50Speaker 1: You look really good?
- 25:52Speaker 8: I should. Eva did my hair yesterday. She really knows
- 25:56Speaker 8: her way around the curlers.
- 25:58Speaker 1: Yeah, she does work.
- 26:01Speaker 8: Did you get a haircut too? You look different from
- 26:04Speaker 8: last week?
- 26:07Speaker 2: Mom.
- 26:08Speaker 1: My current mission has me posted in Virginia. It's been
- 26:11Speaker 1: two months since I visit Nonsense.
- 26:14Speaker 15: You were sitting in that very chair telling me you
- 26:17Speaker 15: were going to visit your father in France. He's not there,
- 26:21Speaker 15: you know, been dead a long time, but he did
- 26:25Speaker 15: love you. Sent letters every day. They're here somewhere.
- 26:30Speaker 1: I think, Mom. The work I'm doing is experimental. It's
- 26:37Speaker 1: got me thinking about dad. Do you ever wonder who's.
- 26:42Speaker 15: That friend of yours? I went from high school Robbie Alan,
- 26:48Speaker 15: wasn't it? He was with you last time, but never
- 26:51Speaker 15: said a word.
- 26:53Speaker 1: A chill blew through me. Robbie had been dead for
- 26:57Speaker 1: twenty plus years at that point. Gassed himself for the
- 27:00Speaker 1: pickup truck while we were in high school birthday.
- 27:02Speaker 6: Gone horribly off the rails.
- 27:05Speaker 1: But I hadn't spoken of him in decades, though he
- 27:08Speaker 1: was off and on my mind. Okay, Mom, I uh,
- 27:13Speaker 1: hey are those chocolate chip cookies I see over there.
- 27:16Speaker 1: I sure could use one.
- 27:18Speaker 15: Yes, you could, too, thin, Please help yourself.
- 27:23Speaker 7: Mildred Barrass baked them Mildred Paris.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Uh okay, thanks mama.
- 27:32Speaker 8: Maybe the kitchen.
- 27:33Speaker 5: Here made them. I get confused.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Now it's all right, Mom, don't get upset.
- 27:41Speaker 6: They're delicious.
- 27:42Speaker 15: I think my watch stopped.
- 27:43Speaker 5: I keep forgetting to wind it.
- 27:46Speaker 1: No, no, it's the right time, two pm. It runs
- 27:50Speaker 1: on batteries, so you don't have to wind this one.
- 27:51Speaker 6: Mom.
- 27:53Speaker 1: You got it for Christmas batteries.
- 27:55Speaker 15: Why do I wind it every day?
- 27:57Speaker 11: Then?
- 27:58Speaker 1: I found the visit some at disquieting, but it was
- 28:01Speaker 1: her insistence that had recently been there that really got
- 28:04Speaker 1: to me. I'd certainly been thinking about her quite a lot.
- 28:08Speaker 1: I returned to the institute, mister Monroe, a rare pleasure.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Come in, please.
- 28:20Speaker 1: What brings you to Creue Quarters?
- 28:22Speaker 2: I could hear you typing from down the hall.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Yeah. The brass requested an interim report, and I've summed
- 28:31Speaker 1: up the training as relatively successful. You've taken the process
- 28:36Speaker 1: to heart, but we don't have proof of effectiveness yet.
- 28:40Speaker 2: I'm aware. I wish I could report.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Something, anything that demonstrated positive results.
- 28:46Speaker 2: If you don't, they might pull my fund there. Then
- 28:48Speaker 2: you'll never get your answers. Your dad, I can't help that.
- 28:53Speaker 2: I can only report the truth. Can you give us
- 28:57Speaker 2: another few days. I've got a surprise coming that I
- 29:01Speaker 2: think can better prep you for your next journey?
- 29:05Speaker 1: Okay, I'm willing to try. Although I'm not convinced that
- 29:08Speaker 1: the mushrooms are the best.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Path, I think I have something better.
- 29:13Speaker 6: Good.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Look, I can hold the report off for a few
- 29:16Speaker 1: more days.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Thank you. I'll see you in the lab after lunch.
- 29:22Speaker 1: I already ate.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Okay, let's go get those answers.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Roger that we were both motivated, but for different reasons.
- 29:33Speaker 1: If I could pinpoint where that base was or gain
- 29:35Speaker 1: some operational intelligence about it, we could both move forward.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Continued failure wasn't an option. Neil's Poor the renowned physicist,
- 29:44Speaker 1: once responded to his son's complaints about the obtuse nature
- 29:47Speaker 1: of certain concepts and physics by saying, you are not thinking,
- 29:52Speaker 1: you are merely being logical. The physics of altered human
- 29:55Speaker 1: consciousness deals with some conceptualizations that are not easily grasped
- 29:58Speaker 1: or visualized exclude usively in the context of ordinary left
- 30:02Speaker 1: brain linear thinking. So to borrow doctor Borer's mode of expression,
- 30:07Speaker 1: parts of this paper will require not only logic, but
- 30:10Speaker 1: a touch of right brain intuitive insight to achieve a complete,
- 30:13Speaker 1: comfortable grasp of the concepts involved. Nevertheless, once that is done,
- 30:18Speaker 1: I am confident that their construction and application will stand
- 30:21Speaker 1: up to the test of rational critique.
- 30:24Speaker 2: How's he doing.
- 30:27Speaker 5: He's getting close to the rem state.
- 30:29Speaker 2: Switch to focus fifteen content. I think we can get
- 30:33Speaker 2: him there this time.
- 30:35Speaker 5: Perhaps doctor Alexander should be here.
- 30:38Speaker 2: That quack. He's turned three soldiers into potted plants. He's
- 30:43Speaker 2: not screwing this one.
- 30:44Speaker 5: Up, as you say, switching to focus fifteen content.
- 30:49Speaker 2: Now, let's get the location of that base.
- 30:54Speaker 9: You can understand why he wants to find out about
- 30:57Speaker 9: his father, can't you. We've offered him an opportunity he
- 31:00Speaker 9: can't pass up.
- 31:02Speaker 2: I'm not convinced he's going to like what he finds.
- 31:07Speaker 5: Knowing is better than not knowing.
- 31:09Speaker 2: I hope you're right. I think he's moving into Remstay
- 31:14Speaker 2: watch him.
- 31:16Speaker 1: I found myself at the missile base again, wandering the
- 31:19Speaker 1: halls in a bleached out reality. I serenely moved into
- 31:23Speaker 1: their space with no time passing. I tried to read
- 31:26Speaker 1: the signs on the base. I know the cyrillic alphabet
- 31:29Speaker 1: and speak some Russian, but still couldn't make sense of anything.
- 31:34Speaker 9: He's in deep rem Hopefully he's found the base and
- 31:39Speaker 9: avoids that presence that always upsets him.
- 31:42Speaker 2: Don't encourage him with that entity talk. I wish he
- 31:46Speaker 2: would just avoid it until we get the funding secured.
- 31:51Speaker 5: Really, things don't work that way. Wow, Field, it's doctor
- 32:01Speaker 5: Alexander for you. Tell him I'm busy with an experiment.
- 32:05Speaker 5: He says, it's important. Let me have the.
- 32:07Speaker 9: Phone, Doctor Alexander. I'm busy, ma'am, And if he calls back,
- 32:16Speaker 9: I'm even busier.
- 32:18Speaker 5: Yes, ma'am.
- 32:20Speaker 1: I missed all of the drama in the lab. I
- 32:23Speaker 1: was far far away. I found the Russian base. I
- 32:27Speaker 1: finally knew where it was and couldn't wait to get
- 32:29Speaker 1: back until my superiors. But there was a problem, A
- 32:33Speaker 1: glowing one staring at me from across the missile silo,
- 32:37Speaker 1: and it didn't look happy.
- 32:39Speaker 6: Hey, who are you?
- 32:41Speaker 1: Why are you following me? Please answer me. I need
- 32:45Speaker 1: to know. I want to know.
- 32:47Speaker 2: You're not ready, Robbie, but you're gone.
- 32:52Speaker 1: You can't Maybe I'm someone else.
- 32:56Speaker 6: Don't go to France.
- 32:58Speaker 1: My shock at this point was extreme. I thought i'd
- 33:02Speaker 1: started to recognize the entity, but its shape and voice
- 33:04Speaker 1: shifted again. Was it my friend who killed himself in
- 33:08Speaker 1: high school?
- 33:09Speaker 2: Now?
- 33:09Speaker 1: I wasn't sure? Why not explain things to me? At
- 33:15Speaker 1: this point, the entity grew massively into a glowing ball
- 33:18Speaker 1: of light, racing toward me at impossible speed.
- 33:23Speaker 5: I'm bringing him out as hard as racing.
- 33:25Speaker 2: You're thwarting our progress.
- 33:27Speaker 5: I'm saving our test subject.
- 33:30Speaker 1: She leaned down and spoke in my ear.
- 33:33Speaker 5: Wayne, it's time to come back. Now.
- 33:35Speaker 2: It's not good to talk to him.
- 33:37Speaker 5: He's coming now, he's with us again.
- 33:43Speaker 6: Robbie, hold on, WILLI Where did he go?
- 33:48Speaker 2: Who?
- 33:50Speaker 1: My friend? Robbie?
- 33:53Speaker 2: Where does he live?
- 33:55Speaker 5: Ah?
- 33:58Speaker 6: Never, never mind.
- 34:01Speaker 1: If you're looking for an address for that base, start
- 34:03Speaker 1: in your coots, send your blackbirds there. You're sure, Roger that,
- 34:09Speaker 1: and let me know when you've located it.
- 34:11Speaker 2: I'll informed the brass.
- 34:14Speaker 1: I had their answer, but nobody knew the cost yet.
- 34:19Speaker 9: Calm yourself, Lieutenant Colonel. Your heart rate's still elevated. You
- 34:23Speaker 9: can relax.
- 34:24Speaker 5: Now you've proven the program works.
- 34:28Speaker 1: I'm going to finally meet my father. It's kind of
- 34:31Speaker 1: hard to relax knowing that.
- 34:34Speaker 5: Let's get you settled back in your quarters. You need
- 34:36Speaker 5: to rest.
- 34:38Speaker 1: Okay, fair enough, but you tell Monroe I expect him
- 34:41Speaker 1: to start the training for my D Day mission tomorrow.
- 34:45Speaker 5: Yes, Lieutenant Colonel.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Was I right?
- 35:02Speaker 6: Yes?
- 35:03Speaker 2: Indeed you were hidden underground in a forest as you described.
- 35:09Speaker 2: But I still advise that you hold off on this
- 35:12Speaker 2: D Day thing.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Give me one valid reason you aren't prepared, I said,
- 35:19Speaker 1: a valid reason. My family has waited forty years for
- 35:22Speaker 1: this answer.
- 35:23Speaker 2: Then what's a few more months. The answer might not
- 35:26Speaker 2: make you happy.
- 35:29Speaker 1: But I need to know what happened to my father.
- 35:33Speaker 2: There's someone here to see you, to offer special help,
- 35:38Speaker 2: special help. I'd like to introduce you to the man
- 35:42Speaker 2: behind the science. It sucked bent tough. Wait what no
- 35:47Speaker 2: one can know where you are? What are you doing here?
- 35:50Speaker 2: That is who?
- 35:51Speaker 12: I have dressed as a juniitor and just spend a
- 35:54Speaker 12: half ow a mop in the hallway. I want to
- 35:58Speaker 12: see you. I achieve your Monroe tells me your clothes.
- 36:04Speaker 2: I have some ideas.
- 36:07Speaker 1: I'll give it a try, but you really shouldn't be
- 36:10Speaker 1: seen by anyone. Concerned that I wasn't making enough progress.
- 36:16Speaker 1: Monroe had gotten Itzac bent off himself to come push
- 36:19Speaker 1: me over the top. Monroe wanted a favorable report and
- 36:23Speaker 1: the funding it would bring.
- 36:25Speaker 12: This effort is worth my reappearance.
- 36:29Speaker 2: I can't hide forever.
- 36:32Speaker 12: Let's get the work.
- 36:35Speaker 1: So I got my wish. Itsac broke protocol and provided
- 36:38Speaker 1: special training and hypnosis. Monroe kept his end of the
- 36:42Speaker 1: bargain and I got more, much more than I bargained for.
- 36:50Speaker 2: I'm here.
- 36:53Speaker 1: I can't believe it. I expected to be an observer
- 36:58Speaker 1: as before. Turns out I was a participant.
- 37:03Speaker 7: Hunt.
- 37:03Speaker 1: No wait, wait, you can see them and there you
- 37:09Speaker 1: have it. I progress through the ascending consciousness phases and
- 37:12Speaker 1: got my wish, but it wasn't what I expected. Funny
- 37:16Speaker 1: how life frequently works out that way in any case.
- 37:20Speaker 1: If you want to know more about that journey and
- 37:22Speaker 1: how the rest of my report came out, come back
- 37:25Speaker 1: for our next episode.
- 37:27Speaker 6: You won't be bored.
- 37:30Speaker 3: Goodness didn't get too I don't want to get some more.
- 37:35Speaker 1: I love doing this fine hunt.
- 37:36Speaker 9: Yeah, you can get one question that is nurse fields,
- 37:40Speaker 9: random neurons firing.
- 37:42Speaker 14: I maybe my ears are failing that I do your neurons.
- 37:45Speaker 3: Good, so find that line. In the meanwhile, Nick, let's
- 37:47Speaker 3: get two more from your halts.
- 37:50Speaker 1: How were you saying.
- 37:52Speaker 13: One?
- 37:53Speaker 3: Was both of them more intense, one more fear, one
- 37:56Speaker 3: more anger?
- 37:57Speaker 1: Okay, sounds good. Yeah, I'm gonna stand up. Yeah, please
- 38:00Speaker 1: do stand okay, yeah, just yell at me, Nick, can
- 38:03Speaker 1: we go back and forth?
- 38:04Speaker 2: Your line, my line, your line, my line?
- 38:05Speaker 1: Okay, so I can match your energy.
- 38:10Speaker 7: Hearts find a hounch No, wait, you can see me
- 38:16Speaker 7: hats fight a hounch no, wait, wait you can see
- 38:20Speaker 7: me hants fighter hounch no wait wait you can see me.
- 38:33Speaker 6: Like a bulldog.
- 38:39Speaker 9: Okay, m hmm what.
- 38:41Speaker 5: Pages page six.
- 38:47Speaker 9: Random neurons firing. He's mentally gone, just like the poor
- 38:51Speaker 9: SAPs in the next two rooms. We're taking a big
- 38:55Speaker 9: risk putting McDonald through it.
