- 0:01Speaker 1: There. It is what it is, are is a e
- 0:07Speaker 1: Welcome to the show. God damn it. We let cap
- 0:09Speaker 1: podcast a new addition, new episode. You know, we're getting
- 0:13Speaker 1: close to episode one hundred, and I'm gonna probably call
- 0:17Speaker 1: in on my good friend Freddy Gibbs to try to
- 0:19Speaker 1: come on episode one hundred. I don't know if he's
- 0:21Speaker 1: I mean, he'll he'll do it if I ask, but
- 0:23Speaker 1: you know he was on episode one. Gotta do episode
- 0:27Speaker 1: one hundred. Listen, we got a dope fucking episode today
- 0:30Speaker 1: with Isaiah Rashad all right, one of my favorite rappers
- 0:34Speaker 1: in the last like seven or eight years. Obviously we
- 0:36Speaker 1: get music from him seldomly, but his new album is
- 0:40Speaker 1: Fucking Fire, representing TDE. This conversation went off the rails,
- 0:44Speaker 1: for sure. It got interesting. There was even some things
- 0:49Speaker 1: we took out, you know what I'm saying. A couple
- 0:52Speaker 1: of things were just like, you know, let's take that out.
- 0:54Speaker 1: You know. But probably the reading the YouTube comments and
- 1:01Speaker 1: all the fans are saying it's the best interview he's done.
- 1:04Speaker 1: You say, it's like one of the one or two
- 1:06Speaker 1: best interviews Isaiah SHOT's done. We just fucking clown on
- 1:09Speaker 1: each other and we obviously we talking about the music,
- 1:11Speaker 1: but we get into a lot of other cool shit. Man,
- 1:13Speaker 1: so hey, shout out to our sponsors, odd Socks, don't
- 1:16Speaker 1: forget to go to odd socksofficial dot com and get
- 1:18Speaker 1: you some of the craziest socks in the game. They
- 1:20Speaker 1: got all the licenses, street Fighter, fucking Hooters, Pepsi, it's
- 1:25Speaker 1: our patch kids, wwe whatever you need, they got it.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Odd Socksofficial dot Com. Get you some socks, get you
- 1:32Speaker 1: some underwear. Use the keyword though, this is the important part,
- 1:35Speaker 1: because you're gonna say twenty percent off at checkout if
- 1:38Speaker 1: you use the keyword bootleg keV. That's one word altogether,
- 1:42Speaker 1: bootleg keV at checkout, save twenty percent off. Let's get
- 1:45Speaker 1: into the interview with Isaiah Rashad. All right, man, look,
- 1:49Speaker 1: Bootleg keV Show Special guests. Finally we got a new
- 1:52Speaker 1: album from this guy. I feel like every time I've
- 1:54Speaker 1: ran into you for the last you know, X amount
- 1:56Speaker 1: of years, I'm like, yo, what's up with the music?
- 1:57Speaker 1: What's up with the music? Man? We need it, we
- 1:59Speaker 1: need it. Finally we're here. We're here now, and congrats
- 2:03Speaker 1: on just the success of the album and the tour man.
- 2:06Speaker 1: We're just talking the tours and sold the funk out man.
- 2:09Speaker 1: It's news to me. But congrats bro. You know, I
- 2:14Speaker 1: think a misconception that a lot of people make, including myself,
- 2:18Speaker 1: is that the delay for your new music was a
- 2:22Speaker 1: TD thing, but it was really on you, like you
- 2:25Speaker 1: you weren't done. Yeah, I mean it's about like can
- 2:29Speaker 1: we turn it in start rolling? You can't change it,
- 2:32Speaker 1: so you got to take your time going back and forth. Motherfuckers,
- 2:35Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, going back with your homies
- 2:38Speaker 1: and all that, and it's whenever I want to do it.
- 2:41Speaker 1: Can we get you closer to the mic? I'm like
- 2:45Speaker 1: seeing cook over there turning it up. So for you,
- 2:49Speaker 1: like you know, personally, what did you go through since
- 2:52Speaker 1: the last album? Like, because you know, to take that
- 2:56Speaker 1: much time away, I'm sure you had to get reinspired.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Was there personal stuff you had to get through the
- 3:00Speaker 1: kind of put yourself into another creative place to want
- 3:03Speaker 1: to do an album. I guess I'm always recording stuff
- 3:07Speaker 1: and because I just like doing this ship and so
- 3:10Speaker 1: we always have like a batch of songs and from
- 3:14Speaker 1: from time to drop the weed, from time to time party,
- 3:17Speaker 1: from from time to time, you like hear a song
- 3:20Speaker 1: and it's like this sound like an album track, so
- 3:22Speaker 1: you put it aside, and then that shit just happens
- 3:25Speaker 1: over months, and then after a while you get to
- 3:27Speaker 1: a point where you're like, okay, I got five or
- 3:30Speaker 1: six songs that really sound like it's an album. Was like, okay,
- 3:31Speaker 1: maybe it sound for me to start making an album
- 3:34Speaker 1: that's happy. How many like the pull of songs that
- 3:37Speaker 1: you had to pull from to like pick from the
- 3:40Speaker 1: album because call them songs, I call them ideas. Yeah,
- 3:44Speaker 1: so it'd be like songs maybe like twenty like scratches,
- 3:49Speaker 1: maybe like one hundred, so like a hundred ideas or
- 3:52Speaker 1: a hundred like attempts to like get something going it's
- 3:54Speaker 1: doing in the studio. I used to take like those
- 3:57Speaker 1: sessions eight hour or twelve hours sessions, and you should, man,
- 4:00Speaker 1: I need to make a song every time. And it
- 4:04Speaker 1: was like, no, get off as many ideas as you
- 4:05Speaker 1: can in the studio. You gotta go back to the studio.
- 4:09Speaker 1: You might as well go back with something almost partially formulated,
- 4:13Speaker 1: something that you like, just finish that ship. Yeah, that's
- 4:16Speaker 1: how it happens. Talk about just kind of the evolution
- 4:20Speaker 1: from album to album for you sonically, like where where
- 4:24Speaker 1: do you? Because I feel like each album has kind
- 4:26Speaker 1: of been an evolution of like, you know, your first
- 4:29Speaker 1: project tape whatever we're calling Sylvia, Sylvia. Yeah, whatever we're
- 4:32Speaker 1: calling Sylvia. That was that an album? Take it was?
- 4:34Speaker 1: It was? It was. It was a classic, is what
- 4:37Speaker 1: it was. Thank you? But I call it it's a
- 4:38Speaker 1: demo to me for real, because it was the first
- 4:41Speaker 1: fourteen full songs that I made. Man top Hic went
- 4:44Speaker 1: through this thing where I sent him stuff and I
- 4:47Speaker 1: guess at the time I didn't realize it and he
- 4:49Speaker 1: didn't realize it. They would just scratched ideas and I
- 4:52Speaker 1: sent him back to see what really, like, what do
- 4:55Speaker 1: you want me to do to it? Or what do
- 4:56Speaker 1: you think of your type of shit? And but I
- 4:59Speaker 1: hadn't went beyond that stage till Sylvia. And that was
- 5:03Speaker 1: me getting inspiration from everything that I like, had been
- 5:06Speaker 1: around and liked them, and I was emulating at the
- 5:09Speaker 1: time from everybody from Outcaster Tyler Scarf, Wayne and all
- 5:16Speaker 1: that shit, and then the Sunstarae is me trying to
- 5:19Speaker 1: filter out those influences. But I still like that sound
- 5:23Speaker 1: and I used to think that I had to change
- 5:26Speaker 1: sound from album to album, and I'm like, I mean,
- 5:28Speaker 1: like all my favorite artists, soul singers, classic shit, jazz shit,
- 5:33Speaker 1: I'm like, they make different variations of these ship. But
- 5:37Speaker 1: after a while they started making like a subgenre from that,
- 5:40Speaker 1: and I'm like, I want to do that. So I
- 5:41Speaker 1: tried that, Like I started building on that with the
- 5:44Speaker 1: A and then this one was like less, like it
- 5:49Speaker 1: was even more filtered out of other influences. It was
- 5:52Speaker 1: like me just really just doing my shit. So this
- 5:54Speaker 1: is like more like my sound. It sounds like you
- 5:56Speaker 1: identify my sound off this like versus the last project.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Producers would just send me like a jazzy beat because
- 6:02Speaker 1: that was like the stereotype. I feel like now this
- 6:04Speaker 1: one they'll understand kind of more for right right right right, Yeah, No,
- 6:08Speaker 1: Like Yo, that Isaiah Vershaw type beat on YouTube definitely
- 6:10Speaker 1: has to be jazzy. Yeah, but that's what I'm saying.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Like this album definitely there's more bounce to it. There's
- 6:17Speaker 1: more you know what I'm saying, losing that ship without
- 6:20Speaker 1: losing what people love you for. That was important to me. Yeah,
- 6:23Speaker 1: And I also think too, like some of the features
- 6:25Speaker 1: you picture this album are dope like Jay Worthy's dope,
- 6:27Speaker 1: like super Underrated Duke is dope. Like what was like,
- 6:31Speaker 1: uh for you? Like you know, having for people who
- 6:35Speaker 1: you know, you're you're, you're, you have a cult following? Yeah,
- 6:39Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. People are like, wait, people
- 6:41Speaker 1: have been waiting for this album, So how careful were
- 6:44Speaker 1: you with like who made the album? I try to
- 6:48Speaker 1: I try to trust my gut on I guess knowing
- 6:53Speaker 1: that there's a cored like there's a cult following, and
- 6:55Speaker 1: I think even inside that quoto there's a chord amount
- 6:59Speaker 1: of them that like understand me how I feel like
- 7:02Speaker 1: I understood the artists I like growing up and like
- 7:05Speaker 1: so they got patience not just in time, but like
- 7:09Speaker 1: with experimenting with so thety there for the journey like
- 7:12Speaker 1: ten ten projects deep type of ship. And then there's
- 7:15Speaker 1: other ones who have an idea of me respects them.
- 7:19Speaker 1: But I had to bypass that and think about, man,
- 7:21Speaker 1: I want I want, I want to talk to some
- 7:22Speaker 1: new people. I want to I want to get to
- 7:24Speaker 1: know some new people when we go, not just to
- 7:26Speaker 1: not to say the same people, but I don't want
- 7:28Speaker 1: to bring necessarily the exact same crowd so that went
- 7:31Speaker 1: into it. And I also like knew that, like when
- 7:35Speaker 1: I put my stuff out it was gonna for good
- 7:38Speaker 1: or bad, it was gonna get some attention. And I
- 7:40Speaker 1: was like, why not share with people I like doing
- 7:41Speaker 1: this shit with Red to the Rip who did the artwork,
- 7:47Speaker 1: to the homies me and already picked the tracks, and
- 7:51Speaker 1: the features were just all the homies organic and or
- 7:54Speaker 1: people who I looked up to and reached out a network.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Was there was there anything that like almost made the
- 8:01Speaker 1: album that didn't make the album maybe feature that came
- 8:03Speaker 1: into late or a record that like maybe the everything
- 8:06Speaker 1: almost didn't make the album, it didn't make it, you
- 8:09Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, Like like like was there something
- 8:10Speaker 1: that didn't make it that was like because maybe the
- 8:12Speaker 1: sample didn't get cleared last minute? Anything that didn't make
- 8:15Speaker 1: it is probably because it's sample or because it wasn't finished.
- 8:19Speaker 1: That's fair. Everything is like interchangeable, like I was trying
- 8:21Speaker 1: to go for to me like a steady seven eight
- 8:26Speaker 1: if I was judging it off my head, for everyone else,
- 8:28Speaker 1: like every individual, so something like married ship right right,
- 8:32Speaker 1: And I always when I played it back, I'm like, Okay,
- 8:34Speaker 1: this is as long as ain't no six in there,
- 8:36Speaker 1: and it's a at average seven eight. I know, if
- 8:38Speaker 1: you don't like it, you just don't like it. And
- 8:41Speaker 1: if you like it, you gonna love it. And that ship.
- 8:43Speaker 1: That's how it just went about the whole project. Yo.
- 8:46Speaker 1: I randomly went to Chattanooga, like and when we were
- 8:50Speaker 1: in Atlanta to shoot a music video with my artists
- 8:52Speaker 1: because my friend's family has like a farm in the
- 8:55Speaker 1: middle of Chattanooga Chattanog. I don't even know it's like
- 8:58Speaker 1: outside of Chattanooga, but for Overthorp for it's like in
- 9:03Speaker 1: the middle of the forest is where my boy's property is.
- 9:07Speaker 1: But I was like, next time I see Isaiah, I
- 9:09Speaker 1: gotta be like, man, I drove through Chattanooga, did you
- 9:11Speaker 1: eat anything like some fast food? So I'm just mad
- 9:14Speaker 1: that when you came up you had me come up
- 9:16Speaker 1: here and talk about chatting and you brought up Chattanoo
- 9:18Speaker 1: that you said that the only thing you can describe
- 9:19Speaker 1: it was it was forest. It was just a lot
- 9:22Speaker 1: of trees. And then now nobody's gonna understand what chattering. Well, listen,
- 9:26Speaker 1: it's if you're in Atlanta. Ever, it's a hop, skip
- 9:28Speaker 1: and a jump, you know, it was like a two
- 9:31Speaker 1: hour drive is a two hours Yeah, bring bring Chattanooga
- 9:34Speaker 1: some tourism. What what what is there to do there
- 9:36Speaker 1: outside of have great Southern food? And what I did was,
- 9:42Speaker 1: I mean, we just did ship in the and we
- 9:44Speaker 1: just I'm like, it's chill. I mean, it's an aquarium.
- 9:50Speaker 1: It's an aquarium. Aquarium, this is zoo. It's good for
- 9:53Speaker 1: the kids, good for fam you know what I'm saying.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Don't bring your bullshit to chat. Bring your family the chat.
- 9:58Speaker 1: It's a family town, family town, good place to race
- 10:01Speaker 1: of family. If you're doing that, yeah, that's fair. You
- 10:05Speaker 1: and Kenny Beats got a crazy chemistry. I think Kenny
- 10:10Speaker 1: is probably the most underrated producer in hip hop. When
- 10:12Speaker 1: we just when we when we talk about like the
- 10:14Speaker 1: beat has his following's insane shot the twitch because those
- 10:18Speaker 1: twitch people are they're a different type of dedicated. But
- 10:21Speaker 1: but he's he's a beast. Talk about your guys is
- 10:24Speaker 1: just you know, chemistry and how did that relationship start?
- 10:26Speaker 1: And ken't even knowing each other for probably like five years.
- 10:29Speaker 1: And when he first started seeing me Beats or playing
- 10:32Speaker 1: me beats, I ain't like none of them and they
- 10:35Speaker 1: were like similar to the ones that he made right
- 10:38Speaker 1: right now, but like they weren't exactly of the same.
- 10:41Speaker 1: He hadn't had I guess whatever lessons that he got
- 10:43Speaker 1: to get here, he didn't have those all the way.
- 10:45Speaker 1: But then I heard his ship with Key Project and
- 10:48Speaker 1: I was like, damn, I want something mind you. I
- 10:52Speaker 1: only know Kenny. I wasn't think about Kenny beats because
- 10:55Speaker 1: I don't even think Rory had introduced me to him
- 10:57Speaker 1: like that, right, And it was like a while. So
- 11:00Speaker 1: when I'm like, bro, I want to get some beats
- 11:01Speaker 1: from Kenny Bees, He's like, I'm like, that's Kenny, Like yeah,
- 11:06Speaker 1: So I went and saw Kenny on the Humble and
- 11:09Speaker 1: I came back and I'm like, can you help me?
- 11:11Speaker 1: And then that's wild he was he fucked with my ship,
- 11:16Speaker 1: so he was enthuseday, and like, dude, the ship. We
- 11:18Speaker 1: both tourists, so it'd be a challenge. It's a tourist connection, Yeah,
- 11:23Speaker 1: I guess. I guess it's more like we both like
- 11:26Speaker 1: a challenge. Talk about this record with Uzzi. Man Uzzi's obviously, Uh,
- 11:32Speaker 1: he's kind of like a walking enigma. I feel like
- 11:34Speaker 1: he's kind of like a real life like this he
- 11:36Speaker 1: put up to the music video like that. I don't
- 11:39Speaker 1: doubt I thought. I've seen him twice and I think
- 11:42Speaker 1: the first time I seen him, we were at the
- 11:45Speaker 1: Hip Hop Awars for rehears was like twenty sixteen, and
- 11:49Speaker 1: he was like that, but he was way more like bouncy.
- 11:53Speaker 1: He's still bouncy. It was like like super young. And
- 11:58Speaker 1: now it's like it's like you just knew he came
- 12:01Speaker 1: into the room. It's kind of crazy. It was kind
- 12:03Speaker 1: of it's some real I ain't never been nobody like that.
- 12:05Speaker 1: It's type though. You know, I think he's got like
- 12:07Speaker 1: an aura. There's very few people that have been around
- 12:09Speaker 1: that I feel like they have like an aura that
- 12:11Speaker 1: you like, Let's say he's a professional. I mean, yeah,
- 12:13Speaker 1: it seems like a professional. He's not a nice kid too.
- 12:16Speaker 1: He's not on like some weirdo like rapper shit, you
- 12:18Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. Definitely professional on this album that
- 12:21Speaker 1: you've had, Like I feel like on your your last
- 12:23Speaker 1: two projects, you had in some vulnerable moments, like records
- 12:26Speaker 1: like Heavenly Father. I don't feel like we got as
- 12:28Speaker 1: much of that on this project. Was there wrapped around
- 12:32Speaker 1: other shit. It's sitting there. It just wrapped this shit.
- 12:35Speaker 1: I said, like, don't shoot, I say all heard for me.
- 12:38Speaker 1: It's like it's it's it's just like poetry, but it's
- 12:42Speaker 1: a lot of shit and there's a lot of like
- 12:44Speaker 1: all herb is really about. All this shit is about
- 12:46Speaker 1: emotional like breakups and all that type of shit. It's
- 12:48Speaker 1: just wrapped in stuff that it's more about you feeling it.
- 12:51Speaker 1: And if you're a nerd, you're gonna figure it out,
- 12:54Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. Like I like I said,
- 12:56Speaker 1: used the word likely like I was, you know what
- 12:58Speaker 1: I'm saying writing that ship down, deciphering this ship. But
- 13:01Speaker 1: if you just want to listen to music, yeah, and
- 13:05Speaker 1: I try to design the music to be like that.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Did you go through did you go through a breakup?
- 13:09Speaker 1: Since since we're on the album no, no, I mean
- 13:13Speaker 1: know you just said that record is about, you know,
- 13:15Speaker 1: some breakup ship. I mean it's that's the vibe. You know,
- 13:18Speaker 1: you go through bad, you go through qualms in your relationships,
- 13:21Speaker 1: you go through ups and downs and you feel them.
- 13:25Speaker 1: I don't to write something out like da da da dad,
- 13:29Speaker 1: you hurt my feelings. Just happened. That happened, makes it
- 13:33Speaker 1: more in the moment versus how like I actually felt. Okay,
- 13:38Speaker 1: the way I write it is about how I felt,
- 13:41Speaker 1: not exactly what was going on. No, that's fair. Yeah,
- 13:46Speaker 1: sometimes yeah that's fair. You know, you and Sissa, I
- 13:50Speaker 1: feel like TD diehards. We always kind of like associate
- 13:54Speaker 1: you too. Is like, you know, we're always waiting for
- 13:57Speaker 1: new music from Sissy and from Isaiah Rashad. Right, we've
- 14:00Speaker 1: been waiting for what Sissa dropping twenty seventeen. It's been
- 14:02Speaker 1: a while since Control dropped, but I feel like you're
- 14:05Speaker 1: still in the charts. It might be it was fucking
- 14:09Speaker 1: one of the best albums in the last decade, for sure,
- 14:11Speaker 1: But I feel like you two are are kind of
- 14:14Speaker 1: like obviously there's the core TD members and then there's
- 14:16Speaker 1: Isaiah Shot and Scissa, and for whatever reason, we always
- 14:19Speaker 1: have to wait very long times to get music from
- 14:21Speaker 1: both of you guys. We came after like the Four
- 14:27Speaker 1: Horsemen or whatever the fuck, you know what I'm saying, right,
- 14:29Speaker 1: and like after Black Hippie, and that expectation is pretty high. Well,
- 14:33Speaker 1: especially I think for her being like some R and
- 14:36Speaker 1: B soul pop type of shit, like she knew she
- 14:39Speaker 1: had to like diversify her so and not only separated
- 14:42Speaker 1: itself from like the boys, from all the girls. So
- 14:46Speaker 1: her ear and her critique for herself is hiring for me.
- 14:48Speaker 1: I just didn't want to sound like them without getting
- 14:51Speaker 1: the same respect. So yeah, I think like when it's
- 14:55Speaker 1: Jay Rock, ab sol Q and Kendrick and you're the
- 14:58Speaker 1: you're like the first rapper, I feel like kind of
- 15:00Speaker 1: got brought on after this initial success. No matter what
- 15:05Speaker 1: you do, you're gonna get compared to and critique and
- 15:08Speaker 1: countrigue to the highest level. And like, you know, even
- 15:12Speaker 1: like like you know, with with the reason, you know,
- 15:15Speaker 1: like reason no matter what, Like people compare Reason to
- 15:17Speaker 1: Kendrick and I'm like, they don't tell, but he'd be
- 15:19Speaker 1: rapping because he could rap just because you know what
- 15:22Speaker 1: I'm saying, that's not a lot of people can rap,
- 15:24Speaker 1: you know what I mean? But was that like that
- 15:27Speaker 1: like how much of getting over that hump with the
- 15:31Speaker 1: TD ship and just kind of earning those fans where
- 15:35Speaker 1: they saw you as Isaiah as opposed to like, is
- 15:39Speaker 1: this the new Kendrick? Like I think it's happening right now?
- 15:43Speaker 1: Do you think it's finally? I feel like right now,
- 15:45Speaker 1: like this album you're kind of separate. Yeah, does it
- 15:48Speaker 1: feel good? I like, I'll just be seeing it. What
- 15:53Speaker 1: have you seen that's that's made you feel like like
- 15:54Speaker 1: like finally that moment's come. It's like the way people
- 15:58Speaker 1: seem to appreciate it where they come come about it.
- 16:01Speaker 1: I don't even see people mention them in my comings,
- 16:04Speaker 1: like I'm sorry, I don't see people mention them like
- 16:07Speaker 1: in a comparison way in the comments where I'm sure
- 16:10Speaker 1: previously that probably happened a lot. It was like a
- 16:12Speaker 1: lot of Kendrick sometimes rock, but like that was it
- 16:16Speaker 1: and it but it was light though back then. So
- 16:18Speaker 1: I knew that they had appreciation for my music then,
- 16:20Speaker 1: but now it's like it's just me. So we're like
- 16:25Speaker 1: like when you go back and like, how often do
- 16:27Speaker 1: you go back and listen to the Sylvia Project because
- 16:30Speaker 1: I feel like that's still into it. Like the day
- 16:32Speaker 1: the album came out, like this album, did you just
- 16:35Speaker 1: go through the whole discography? Yeah? That's how somebody doing
- 16:38Speaker 1: it on Twitter, So I was like, let me just
- 16:39Speaker 1: do it. Yeah, how does that feel that like listening
- 16:42Speaker 1: to it now because I still feel like that's one
- 16:43Speaker 1: of the more underappreciated albums. I was like, Nah, you're crazy, bro.
- 16:47Speaker 1: I was like, man, I'm like, this is really slow
- 16:50Speaker 1: and moody. I hear all everything that I used to
- 16:52Speaker 1: get contigued about. I hear it. Now you hear it.
- 16:56Speaker 1: You feel like finally you you're in your pocket. Like fully,
- 17:00Speaker 1: like as far as like I'm just learning, I go
- 17:03Speaker 1: up the projects, not like necessarily like the years or
- 17:07Speaker 1: the time, because it's about the result, showing food type
- 17:11Speaker 1: of ship. So I'm like, this is my third project,
- 17:13Speaker 1: like the fourth one should be I'm like, this is
- 17:14Speaker 1: my third one. If I do six and I'm keeping
- 17:17Speaker 1: the same makes a versation for myself to six, like
- 17:19Speaker 1: that should be crazy? Respectfully, how late? How long are
- 17:22Speaker 1: we gonna have to wait until the fourth one? I
- 17:24Speaker 1: mean I was rapping yesterday, so you know, but like
- 17:27Speaker 1: you know, there's gonna be like four years. I'm better
- 17:29Speaker 1: at finishing songs now, so definitely not four years. Maybe,
- 17:33Speaker 1: like who knows, maybe next year, maybe not, maybe two
- 17:38Speaker 1: years from now, maybe not that's fair. I don't know. Yeah,
- 17:43Speaker 1: he's I have no fucking idea. I got he had
- 17:45Speaker 1: a hard draw full of music and if they decided
- 17:47Speaker 1: to be like, yo, let's put out an album. I'm
- 17:50Speaker 1: not gonna necessarily be like no, right, right, right, right,
- 17:53Speaker 1: right right. Did you see the new tattoo that Anderson
- 17:56Speaker 1: pack he got tattooed? Don't put my ship out pretty much? Yeah,
- 18:00Speaker 1: first of all, pretty wild thing to get tattooed. But
- 18:04Speaker 1: how do you like, how do you feel about that?
- 18:06Speaker 1: Like if you were, if you would unfortunately pass away,
- 18:09Speaker 1: don't put it out music, but just not an output album.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Don't put it under a thing making it like as
- 18:15Speaker 1: a music. Okay, so put it out, just not as
- 18:17Speaker 1: a body of work. Edit it, don't finish the songs,
- 18:21Speaker 1: put everything out. Yeah. I think we just saw that
- 18:25Speaker 1: with like Pop Smoke, Like were the first Pop Smoke
- 18:27Speaker 1: album after he passed. You could tell where like songs
- 18:29Speaker 1: that he had like actually wanted to come out. And
- 18:32Speaker 1: then this last album you could tell they threw some
- 18:35Speaker 1: ship together and it's like if it's feeding a family,
- 18:38Speaker 1: I understand that, respectfully. Put out my scratches man, like
- 18:44Speaker 1: some art ship. Seeing how the process goes. People might
- 18:47Speaker 1: appreciate that in a different level, like some untitled on
- 18:50Speaker 1: the master Ship more you mentioned earlier when you were
- 18:56Speaker 1: growing up, there are certain artists that you just kind
- 18:57Speaker 1: of like thought you knew everything about that. You you
- 19:00Speaker 1: and you have fans like that, a very small core
- 19:02Speaker 1: of your fans that feel that way about you. Who
- 19:04Speaker 1: are those artists for you? Though? Growing up master P,
- 19:07Speaker 1: we paid Fiasco who else? Everything about okay, both of them.
- 19:14Speaker 1: I don't know why. I used to read all those
- 19:16Speaker 1: fucking magazines dude and me too, XXL source all that
- 19:21Speaker 1: ship one Wikipedia before Nigga knew Wikipedia was and all
- 19:26Speaker 1: that type of ship did you go look up lyrics
- 19:29Speaker 1: and ship like? I used to always go, like when
- 19:30Speaker 1: when the Internet first became accessible to me, I would go, like,
- 19:32Speaker 1: on the there was like those lyrics sites you go
- 19:34Speaker 1: before genius. I would people, I don't know what you're
- 19:36Speaker 1: talking about. Then there'd be message boards where you like
- 19:40Speaker 1: all kinds of like Yeah, I would go on there,
- 19:42Speaker 1: and I realized that people were getting lyrics wrong. It's
- 19:46Speaker 1: when I started listening to songs more than like I started.
- 19:49Speaker 1: When I hear a song, I'll be doing the lyrics now. So, uh,
- 19:53Speaker 1: what is your favorite Cast album ever? Man? It flows
- 19:59Speaker 1: between the first just because I like Southern Players and
- 20:02Speaker 1: Cadillac Music. I like that one because how wrong and fresh.
- 20:05Speaker 1: They were m hm. And but I like Equimini because
- 20:10Speaker 1: it seemed like some prime rap ship, but then because
- 20:14Speaker 1: it like was a glimpse of what they could do.
- 20:17Speaker 1: I don't think there's really any songs that much bigger
- 20:19Speaker 1: than Bombs. I mean Bombs over back. That is, like
- 20:22Speaker 1: I remember learning the lyrics of that song as a kid,
- 20:25Speaker 1: like it's one of the that's one of those songs.
- 20:26Speaker 1: I can sing that ship front to back, you know
- 20:28Speaker 1: every fucking word, and it's a hard song to learn.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Me and my homies like we all like we at
- 20:32Speaker 1: school trying to figure out the fucking lyrics of that record.
- 20:35Speaker 1: It was and that video writ andre running into fucking
- 20:38Speaker 1: purple brass writing. They were making rap songs that were
- 20:42Speaker 1: like songs composing arts. There's a whole fucking guitar solo
- 20:46Speaker 1: in that ship, Yeah, not for sure, And it was
- 20:48Speaker 1: like some trippy ass like Tom Morello type guitars. Yeah. No,
- 20:52Speaker 1: I'm an Equimini guy. Though. Equimini to me is like
- 20:55Speaker 1: about as good as rap music, and I think it's
- 20:57Speaker 1: usually just like the last three songs, they could have
- 21:00Speaker 1: kept that Mama see, but could have kept that off
- 21:03Speaker 1: the last three songs on probably all their projects together,
- 21:07Speaker 1: that's probably the best album. You think, the last three
- 21:10Speaker 1: songs on equipment, every one of the albums from Southern
- 21:14Speaker 1: Playlistic Eightiliens, Equiminik on that and and and the probably
- 21:22Speaker 1: the last two if you take the last two or
- 21:23Speaker 1: three from their solo is a piece. If you put
- 21:26Speaker 1: them in the list, and I'm going off my own faith,
- 21:29Speaker 1: I bet it's probably it ain't gonna be like a
- 21:31Speaker 1: whole bunch of fucking singles, but it'll probably be like
- 21:34Speaker 1: the best ship to listen to. Mm hmmm. I think
- 21:38Speaker 1: that what's crazy Liberations in there, Stank Loves and day
- 21:42Speaker 1: Life of Andreas and there Life and them. I mean
- 21:47Speaker 1: with a lot of ships in there, even elevators in there.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Because they got the ninety six remix of that. Count
- 21:54Speaker 1: that all of it you gotta count. I just I
- 21:57Speaker 1: wish I meant that. Like every time I think Outcast,
- 22:01Speaker 1: it makes me miss physical packaging because I always remember
- 22:05Speaker 1: in my CD book, I would have like four pages
- 22:07Speaker 1: or four with titties every Yeah, they had eight aliens,
- 22:11Speaker 1: had a little comic built in, but like every CD
- 22:14Speaker 1: had a naked girl on it. Yo, that might have
- 22:16Speaker 1: been might have got me in the comics bro eighty Aliens. Yeah, yeah,
- 22:21Speaker 1: they had like the whole little comic because I was
- 22:25Speaker 1: like six. Yeah, they stopped doing the nudity ship with
- 22:28Speaker 1: the leve below and speaker box. They broke the streak. Yeah,
- 22:33Speaker 1: they broke the streak. What about Loupe, who I think
- 22:36Speaker 1: is lyrically a fucking alien obviously? You know a couple
- 22:40Speaker 1: of classics, uh rapping that tests ship tattoo on Youth
- 22:45Speaker 1: Murals nine minutes straight, that one song. That song Murals
- 22:50Speaker 1: is so crazy one though. You know what's crazy about
- 22:54Speaker 1: the cool is I don't think it aged that well.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Go watch Fire. I just re listened to the on
- 23:00Speaker 1: a road trip like a few months ago, and there's
- 23:02Speaker 1: still some shit on there. There's like timeless, but it's
- 23:04Speaker 1: like twenty songs. Bro. Yeah, there's just some shit on
- 23:07Speaker 1: there that in the age as well as i'd hope
- 23:08Speaker 1: do you kill six? And it's still like twelve of them.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Moment I think it's still good. I like Food and
- 23:13Speaker 1: Liquor the og leak though, are you really listening to American? Yeah?
- 23:17Speaker 1: I am listening to American Yo. The American Terrorist three
- 23:21Speaker 1: that wasn't on an album. That shit is crazy. I
- 23:24Speaker 1: never heard it. He's like he's like he's like rapping
- 23:28Speaker 1: from the perspective of a soldier who's about to like
- 23:32Speaker 1: blow up a building or something, and he's like writing
- 23:34Speaker 1: his wife, you heard that, dude, It's fucking crazy, and
- 23:39Speaker 1: like he's talking in code and ship to his girl,
- 23:41Speaker 1: like I got I can only listen. I honestly only
- 23:44Speaker 1: listen to Kim I mean Loup. Only listen to when
- 23:50Speaker 1: I'm playing that video game. Hmm, that's good video game music.
- 23:54Speaker 1: I feel like you could appreciate some like hardcore lyrical
- 23:56Speaker 1: ship while playing games. For some reason, a little bit
- 23:58Speaker 1: more riding around the loop is like kind of not
- 24:02Speaker 1: you know, it's for me. Yeah, it's a lot to
- 24:04Speaker 1: think about, Like at the crib doing my ship zone out.
- 24:09Speaker 1: I want to hear a good story. Well, you mentioned
- 24:11Speaker 1: master P too. Master P was probably the first, like
- 24:14Speaker 1: uh it was it was it was Snoop pocket master
- 24:18Speaker 1: P for me as like a little kid that like
- 24:20Speaker 1: really had me like obsessed about hip hop, and that
- 24:23Speaker 1: was like he look so independent. Ghetto dope was like amazing,
- 24:28Speaker 1: and I had a no limit chain and then and
- 24:31Speaker 1: then me and my my best friend Ramse just went
- 24:33Speaker 1: into my dad's bedroom to grab the keys to his car,
- 24:35Speaker 1: and like found crack in his drawer and we opened it.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Like my boy ram was like, bro, that's that master P.
- 24:42Speaker 1: And I was like, damn, my dad's smoking crack. Fucked up.
- 24:49Speaker 1: He's good now, obviously he's good. I mean I think
- 24:51Speaker 1: he was more of a recreational crack smoker to be fair. Yeah,
- 24:56Speaker 1: my dad was never like like putting this out over crack,
- 24:58Speaker 1: but he I feld crack. My dad's George for sure,
- 25:01Speaker 1: And then my mom confirmed later, Yeah, your dad had
- 25:03Speaker 1: his little cracks cracked time, his cracked time. But no,
- 25:08Speaker 1: master P, like man Ghetto Dope was fucking man amazing.
- 25:11Speaker 1: But but also master P is another one of them
- 25:16Speaker 1: artists that like as a kid, I loved it, Like
- 25:19Speaker 1: I still love a lot of his ship, but like
- 25:20Speaker 1: the music, didn't hate say video, Oh yeah, the basketball.
- 25:24Speaker 1: Mysticol was so bro mist cool quit catch charges, bro,
- 25:29Speaker 1: Yeah he gotta stop raping bitches. What he gotta do.
- 25:31Speaker 1: He's getting accused of getting off. He got now he
- 25:35Speaker 1: didn't get off the first time. He didn't. Nah, But no,
- 25:39Speaker 1: Mysticol was a fucking alien. I remember when I first
- 25:42Speaker 1: heard myst the cool it was like, uh, was a
- 25:45Speaker 1: serial rapist we can't talk about? Yeah? Well, I mean,
- 25:48Speaker 1: I mean yeah, allegedly, right, I think he's a singular
- 25:52Speaker 1: rapist for sure. Sharp lifts, I don't know. Was he
- 25:57Speaker 1: convicted of that? Sharp? He did a song. He did
- 26:02Speaker 1: a song with Mark Ronson after he got out of jail.
- 26:04Speaker 1: I can't imagine, No, I can't imagine Mark Ronson would
- 26:07Speaker 1: do a song with him if he was out here. Really,
- 26:11Speaker 1: I remember when Mark played it for us and Yo,
- 26:14Speaker 1: you'll never guess what I got on the new song, Guys,
- 26:16Speaker 1: You'll never guess. And then he played it and mystical
- 26:19Speaker 1: sound like James Brown, And I was like, this type sexual,
- 26:26Speaker 1: sexual battery and extortion. Was he convicted? What was he convicted?
- 26:34Speaker 1: It sounds like pimping. Sounds like pimping. It sounds like
- 26:38Speaker 1: pimping and panderin. That's all good. You don't got to
- 26:43Speaker 1: put the thing on there. Just you might want to
- 26:45Speaker 1: flip that around though. Yeah, there you go, good content. Oh.
- 26:50Speaker 1: He was forcing a hairstyle his hair, his hairstylist, and
- 26:53Speaker 1: he had some great braids. For see who was doing
- 26:56Speaker 1: what forcing his hairstylists to perform sex acts. Well, you know,
- 27:02Speaker 1: Mystical's hair was on point, though, what you mean though
- 27:05Speaker 1: she didn't a job? His grades were Listen, I don't
- 27:16Speaker 1: want you to. We're not trying to get you canceled.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Isaiaha shotut today. I'm not gonna get count No. I
- 27:21Speaker 1: appreciate this guy said, he said, my name's been in
- 27:24Speaker 1: and I'm not in it. I'm over here, you know,
- 27:28Speaker 1: I'm over here trying to figure it out too. It's like,
- 27:30Speaker 1: what the fuck? Man, oh man, uh yo? Do you
- 27:35Speaker 1: have Do you have any sort of update on Scissor's
- 27:37Speaker 1: project or, like, have you heard a lot of her
- 27:39Speaker 1: music she's sitting on. Can you give us any sort
- 27:41Speaker 1: of window into like what that sounded like? Can we
- 27:45Speaker 1: get this or that? Is it good? Is it bad?
- 27:47Speaker 1: Is it? I mean, you haven't heard any unreleased music?
- 27:51Speaker 1: Two songs? Okay, how are the two songs you've heard?
- 27:53Speaker 1: So you think Sissy has a bad two songs? No,
- 27:56Speaker 1: I don't think has got any bad music. I think
- 27:58Speaker 1: she's trying to figure out I'm a power of gold,
- 28:01Speaker 1: which was the shiniest that's fair? Mm hmm. You fuck
- 28:07Speaker 1: with you feel me? Sometimes? I want to do the
- 28:11Speaker 1: Lebron thing, but I'm not athletic enough. Yeah, who is
- 28:15Speaker 1: your basketball team? Being from Tennessee, I would love if
- 28:18Speaker 1: the Grizzlies one, But I'm more of like I think
- 28:22Speaker 1: a lot of teams fail because of the coaching staffs.
- 28:26Speaker 1: I'm not a basketball expert, so I'm more of a player.
- 28:29Speaker 1: So who's your guys for the past eight years, I'm
- 28:32Speaker 1: not new to this true Janni's Kawhi fuck with Chris
- 28:38Speaker 1: Paul said it had to be him. I'm a Son's fan,
- 28:41Speaker 1: so let's not even you know what I'm saying. Katie
- 28:44Speaker 1: love Russell as of late Russell Dame step all this
- 28:51Speaker 1: ship and Lebron Lebron he gets his love praise. He
- 28:55Speaker 1: hasn't played my song. I've been waiting for him to
- 28:57Speaker 1: pull that. He's in the back of the car and
- 28:59Speaker 1: he starts senior ship with me. He listens to everything.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Lebron James has like the most like eclectic taste in
- 29:07Speaker 1: rap music, like future one day and the next day
- 29:10Speaker 1: it's like fucking Griselda album cut I feel me. Yeah,
- 29:14Speaker 1: It's like it's this kid, He's just playing his kids,
- 29:16Speaker 1: playing this bro. You think it's just you think it's
- 29:18Speaker 1: a kid. I don't think his kids. Listening to Benny
- 29:20Speaker 1: the Butcher, I'm about to say, I'm thirty four, Bro, Relax,
- 29:24Speaker 1: you young kid, I'm thirty four. I thought she was
- 29:27Speaker 1: super season. Do you think I am? Bro? I thought
- 29:29Speaker 1: she was like as old as Socaco Bill. So I
- 29:34Speaker 1: look that old. You be hanging with some old niggas? Bro,
- 29:38Speaker 1: who do I hang with this old besides him? He's
- 29:41Speaker 1: really old. That's one of my best friends. He's an
- 29:43Speaker 1: old man. But who do I hang out with that's old?
- 29:46Speaker 1: I think I just think when I think of when
- 29:48Speaker 1: I think, I think of like old people, you think
- 29:52Speaker 1: of like a generation before me and rap. I'm like
- 29:55Speaker 1: you think you think like, oh, look, that's what he's like.
- 29:56Speaker 1: He's like a Quasi Rosenberg over here on the West Coast,
- 30:00Speaker 1: just an old rap guy. Maybe. Yeah, Listen, I wouldn't
- 30:03Speaker 1: say I'm like, I'm how old are you? Thirty three? Thirty? Okay?
- 30:07Speaker 1: Because I try to do the math on the t
- 30:09Speaker 1: pain thing older. You're just a little bit older than me,
- 30:11Speaker 1: I'm saying, but you know you sees it, bro, so
- 30:13Speaker 1: are you? But you've been doing this way longer than me? Yeah,
- 30:19Speaker 1: I mean having to do this since I was like seventeen,
- 30:21Speaker 1: I don't say you look old. Thank you well, I
- 30:23Speaker 1: appreciate the h I thought she was a young looking
- 30:25Speaker 1: old dude. Now you're an old looking young dude. I
- 30:32Speaker 1: get it. I'm not sure I've ever felt more attacked
- 30:37Speaker 1: on my show, and I don't know if I'm supposed
- 30:40Speaker 1: to take this is a good or a bad thing.
- 30:42Speaker 1: He's like, I thought you were a young looking old dude.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Now you're an old looking young dude. Listen, it is
- 30:48Speaker 1: what it is. Man. You know I'm not the only one. Yeah,
- 30:53Speaker 1: hey him, he's he's like fucking fifty. But you know,
- 30:56Speaker 1: black don't crack respectfully it don't you work out? Filipinos
- 31:00Speaker 1: and black people age better than anyone if you work out. Yeah,
- 31:04Speaker 1: Like I know Filipino people who are like fifty that
- 31:06Speaker 1: look like they're nineteen. If you if you work out,
- 31:08Speaker 1: if you eat good and kind of work out, do
- 31:11Speaker 1: you work out? You keep saying that I'm back to it.
- 31:14Speaker 1: You like, I came from a gym like this, so
- 31:16Speaker 1: like you're fucking you know you're in the gym. I'm
- 31:18Speaker 1: just running Cardio. That's it stage right now, I'm not.
- 31:21Speaker 1: I'm not ready for waits and I know I don't
- 31:22Speaker 1: want to hurt myself. What about diet do you, like,
- 31:25Speaker 1: do you have any weird are you like a vegan
- 31:26Speaker 1: or anything? Everything that they tell you I should go
- 31:29Speaker 1: light on. I don't eat eat a whole bunch of bread,
- 31:32Speaker 1: eat any dairy really so anything. People are like, yo,
- 31:35Speaker 1: don't do that. You're just like, I'm good on that
- 31:37Speaker 1: old I don't eat anyway? What's your bread substantute? It's
- 31:41Speaker 1: not that I don't eat bread, It's like I only
- 31:43Speaker 1: eat bread like to be like a sandwich. Have you
- 31:45Speaker 1: ever tried they have like haliflower crust and like, I'm
- 31:49Speaker 1: not trying to be like that. My intake of regular
- 31:51Speaker 1: shit is so like at a healthy place. I don't know,
- 31:55Speaker 1: what's the worst thing you've eaten this month? Like, what
- 31:57Speaker 1: was that meal that you felt like shit afterwards? You're like,
- 32:00Speaker 1: damn it? For me, it was like in and out
- 32:02Speaker 1: like three day jolly Be, jolly Be. That's the Filipino spot, right, Yeah,
- 32:09Speaker 1: they both. I still fuck with jolly Be. Just today
- 32:13Speaker 1: didn't hit like it was you know, I never had
- 32:15Speaker 1: had it. And Crispy Crispy is chicken Crispy. My producer
- 32:19Speaker 1: is Filipino, and he does a lot of stuff with
- 32:22Speaker 1: this Filipino agency, and they delivered Jolly Be to my house.
- 32:26Speaker 1: It wasn't good, but I don't know if it was
- 32:29Speaker 1: because it was in the car and made a bunch
- 32:31Speaker 1: right there. Yeah, And it also kind of threw me
- 32:34Speaker 1: off because it was it was spaghetti and fried chicken.
- 32:37Speaker 1: You gotta give it a go, and I was. I
- 32:39Speaker 1: opened it and I just looked at it. I took
- 32:40Speaker 1: a bite of the chip, like, no, this ain't it.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Champ's Filipino. Is it really spaghetti or is it dry
- 32:48Speaker 1: rumen with like tomato sauce? Think so, because it's Filipino,
- 32:56Speaker 1: it might be dry ramen spaghetti of stereotypically, I don't
- 33:01Speaker 1: know what kind of racist ship we're getting into here.
- 33:04Speaker 1: What do white people eat baloney? I knew that, so
- 33:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna guess that. I don't think he's just killing
- 33:13Speaker 1: spaghetti over there. They're not killing spaghetti. They're killing dry
- 33:16Speaker 1: ramen over here. What's the fake egg rolls Filipinos like
- 33:23Speaker 1: Lumpia's fire Well, you know what I mean. It's like
- 33:26Speaker 1: a long time I just dabble would have a question.

- 34:36Speaker 1: situations where you know, maybe you know somebody they ever
- 34:38Speaker 1: shot French fries or something or bro if I could
- 34:41Speaker 1: have like something like a waffle house out here, do
- 34:45Speaker 1: you miss that about being in the South, Like just
- 34:48Speaker 1: I like the quality of stuff in LA. I like
- 34:51Speaker 1: the convenience and the familiarity and stuff in the South,
- 34:54Speaker 1: So I probably like try to make something this taste
- 34:57Speaker 1: it a little bit better than waf house. Price about
- 35:00Speaker 1: the same, Yeah, because like low key in LA like
- 35:03Speaker 1: as much I mean, and I mean, how about this
- 35:06Speaker 1: low key in the valley because I don't want to
- 35:07Speaker 1: say La because you'll be able to find a taco
- 35:09Speaker 1: truck in LA. But like the all night food is
- 35:11Speaker 1: very it's over about nine o'clock. It's weak. You would
- 35:15Speaker 1: think there'd be the ill fire. Like it's four in
- 35:18Speaker 1: the morning. We're leaving the studio in Arizona. We have
- 35:21Speaker 1: a place called Philiberto's. It's just burritos all night and
- 35:24Speaker 1: out in the South and then we also have waffle
- 35:26Speaker 1: House in Arizona, but like waffle House is like fucking
- 35:29Speaker 1: I'm the type. I used to be the type that
- 35:31Speaker 1: I would travel for that for waffle House. Yeah yeah,
- 35:35Speaker 1: like I go cross state lines for that amazing and
- 35:38Speaker 1: it's very slept on. And you know what I like
- 35:39Speaker 1: about waffle House is when you're really shit faced and
- 35:42Speaker 1: you had a waffle House, it's like three thirty in
- 35:44Speaker 1: the morning, I feel you. That's cool. You conversate with
- 35:47Speaker 1: the people cooking your food because you're drunk, but they're
- 35:50Speaker 1: right there, they're making it. My memory come from like
- 35:53Speaker 1: going with my grandma when I was like I didn't realize,
- 35:55Speaker 1: you know what, you don't realize you're poor, and then
- 35:57Speaker 1: you're going and do shit with your grandparents just fire.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Then I grew up and realized it's just like seven dollars, right,
- 36:04Speaker 1: I'm like that ship is high memory quality for super Bucks. Baby.
- 36:08Speaker 1: You know, when I was a kid, I used to
- 36:10Speaker 1: think apple Bee's was like the fanciest restaurant in the world.
- 36:13Speaker 1: I mean, you just got bad taste and then no, no, no,
- 36:15Speaker 1: because it was like the ship you see the commercial.
- 36:17Speaker 1: You know, my parents was taking me the fucking beast trash. No,
- 36:20Speaker 1: I'm not saying that. I'm saying this was good. I
- 36:21Speaker 1: would think of apple Bee's and Chili's. I always would
- 36:25Speaker 1: think apple Bee's and Chilies were like expensive restaurants. Like Man,
- 36:29Speaker 1: one day I get to go to Applebee's Chilis when
- 36:31Speaker 1: they still had Country Fried stick. I take it as
- 36:35Speaker 1: a two and a half star. Apple Bee's is for
- 36:38Speaker 1: sure two stars, but apple Bee's you get the two
- 36:41Speaker 1: for twenty. That's what I mean. Okay, if it's fire,
- 36:44Speaker 1: I don't need it. I don't need a coupon. It's
- 36:47Speaker 1: not a coupeon. It's just what they do. It's basically
- 36:50Speaker 1: you ever. Yeah, I mean, you know you're a certain
- 36:52Speaker 1: point in life when you take a girl on a
- 36:53Speaker 1: day Apple best for twenty everybody gets and they get
- 36:57Speaker 1: half half priced appetizers during happy hour. Now, by the way,
- 37:00Speaker 1: there's no Applebe's anywhere near here. It pisses me off.
- 37:03Speaker 1: It's frustrating. I kind of am pre plug cut the
- 37:08Speaker 1: check Applebee's. God damn it. Uh. What's your biggest vice
- 37:11Speaker 1: in twenty twenty one? Man buying pants? Buying pants? Mhmm,
- 37:20Speaker 1: what kind of pants cargo? Something like I don't know,
- 37:26Speaker 1: fluid and shit. I try to have to go into
- 37:28Speaker 1: some like super bag. But I just like nice pants.
- 37:32Speaker 1: So you're just a pants guy. When you see me,
- 37:36Speaker 1: you always got some nice pants on every time, nice shoes. Pants.
- 37:43Speaker 1: It's a special kind of guy, like Loope was a
- 37:46Speaker 1: pants guy. Taste hmmmpe, I remember Lupe put me on
- 37:50Speaker 1: all kinds of Japanese denim and shit. It's okay. The
- 37:53Speaker 1: rest of it don't really matter. You know. That's the
- 37:55Speaker 1: opposite kind of take too, because most people don't care
- 37:57Speaker 1: about their pants. It's me and the pants. M me
- 38:02Speaker 1: and the pants, and the rest is just accessory. I
- 38:06Speaker 1: need the pants. What's the most expensive pair of pants
- 38:09Speaker 1: you've you've purchased? I don't know, like six. I don'm
- 38:15Speaker 1: gonna be doing that type of ship. I'm a regular dude,
- 38:17Speaker 1: Like I like to dress like the manager would by pants?
- 38:21Speaker 1: Would you go to H and M and by pants?
- 38:24Speaker 1: Were they paying me to be there? No? No, Like
- 38:26Speaker 1: if you were like, hey, look I need some pants.
- 38:27Speaker 1: Oh look there's an H and M. Let me go
- 38:28Speaker 1: get some cause they're like nineteen dollars. I usually have pants.
- 38:31Speaker 1: They have pants there a little bogie so so but
- 38:35Speaker 1: you just said you weren't that kind of guy. No, no, no, no,
- 38:38Speaker 1: I'm not above it would I mm, so you're bougie
- 38:41Speaker 1: but not bougie? What I what I if I didn't
- 38:44Speaker 1: have to? Yeah, okay, see what kind of pants right now?
- 38:52Speaker 1: What do we got right now? I got some Grizzlies?
- 38:57Speaker 1: S Oh you got that? Yeah? Yeah, up grizzlies. By
- 39:00Speaker 1: the way, that was at the gym. It was a
- 39:03Speaker 1: great shorts quite possibly top five uniform. Ever, Yeah, until
- 39:09Speaker 1: you played on two K too much and you just
- 39:11Speaker 1: kind of hate seeing it. Is that that's like your
- 39:13Speaker 1: go to on two K Joa Moran and fucking Valachun.
- 39:17Speaker 1: It's just like if if Rest could shoot a little better. Yeah,
- 39:22Speaker 1: about to say, because John's not a great shooter. He's
- 39:23Speaker 1: better than Rest though, But that's crazy, right, Just think
- 39:26Speaker 1: about it that now he can shoot, yeah, ten percent
- 39:28Speaker 1: better than what he shot. Where's he at the league
- 39:31Speaker 1: right now? I mean there's been years where he's shot
- 39:33Speaker 1: ten percent better than he shot the last few years
- 39:35Speaker 1: when he was the MVP. Shoot. But you're always looking
- 39:37Speaker 1: at that, well, fucking go up, like is it for
- 39:40Speaker 1: the fall? Oh yeah? Yeah, same thing with jamran Ja
- 39:43Speaker 1: Moran is disrespectful to his body, Like I'm afraid he's
- 39:46Speaker 1: gonna like have like a moment where he fucks himself
- 39:50Speaker 1: up because he has no fear just jumping over motherfuckers.
- 39:53Speaker 1: He'd be flying. But when he shoot, it's like, I
- 39:56Speaker 1: ain't gotta look it. Might it's gonna drop. Maybe if
- 39:59Speaker 1: it's a I know scenarios, is gonna drop rust though
- 40:03Speaker 1: if he ain't in a rhythm, it's like you just
- 40:05Speaker 1: watching it and it's scary. Dog, He's like playing with
- 40:08Speaker 1: your heart? Is it? Like? What is kind of the
- 40:11Speaker 1: correlation of relation to like Memphis and Chattanooga as far
- 40:13Speaker 1: as like distance four hours, it's pretty far. I've been
- 40:17Speaker 1: in Memphis like four times in my life. Atlanta's closer, Yeah,
- 40:21Speaker 1: because Memphis kind of got rap music, right. I love
- 40:23Speaker 1: Memphis music. Memphis is on fire right now. Yeah, But
- 40:26Speaker 1: like I ain't ever, I haven't got no relatives out there,
- 40:29Speaker 1: no reason too did like Memphis has seemed bleed over
- 40:31Speaker 1: to like your you like what you like and what
- 40:34Speaker 1: you kind of came up listening to obviously three six
- 40:36Speaker 1: months it was I would I didn't go there often.
- 40:39Speaker 1: We only went there for what's this your call Matt
- 40:42Speaker 1: tupa Tulu Telusa, Tuscaloosa. Oh isn't that in college town? No? No, no,
- 40:53Speaker 1: it's right outside of Memphis. We only went there to
- 40:55Speaker 1: gamble with I went to I went to Memphis like
- 40:58Speaker 1: four times with my parents, with my parents and grandparents.
- 41:01Speaker 1: I went through that motherfucker like all the time. Yeah.
- 41:03Speaker 1: The driver always fucking gambling. Not my parents. You a
- 41:07Speaker 1: big gambler, my uncles and un ship. Are you a gambler? No? No,
- 41:12Speaker 1: that never. Someone put you in a casino. You got
- 41:16Speaker 1: a hundred let's say that they give a hundred bodet money.
- 41:18Speaker 1: It's my money. I said, he, I'm gonna give you
- 41:20Speaker 1: a hundred dollars, but you gotta gamble it. What are
- 41:22Speaker 1: you gonna play running it? What are you gonna run
- 41:24Speaker 1: on tho? You're gonna go to black jack? It matter
- 41:27Speaker 1: to me. If it's some ship I didn't earn, I
- 41:30Speaker 1: might throw that ship away. I might give it away.
- 41:33Speaker 1: And I feel feel the way about my possession. It's
- 41:35Speaker 1: kind of crazy. The only thing I really keep a
- 41:37Speaker 1: ship there like I cover it exactly? What do you
- 41:42Speaker 1: cover it? What's the like? What's the most random thing
- 41:45Speaker 1: at your at your house that you're like, this ship
- 41:47Speaker 1: lost my rolex? So nothing? Wow? How do you lose
- 41:51Speaker 1: a rollie? Weird night? Bad night? Not bad night? I
- 41:55Speaker 1: never have a bad night. Weird night? Uber? Did you
- 41:58Speaker 1: leave it like at a chick's house? Weird night? Can
- 42:02Speaker 1: you tell the story? Weird night? Let's let's end the
- 42:05Speaker 1: interview with this. This the night of you weird nights? No? No,
- 42:09Speaker 1: what then happened? Man? Did you go to the Claremont
- 42:13Speaker 1: Lines in Atlanta and some old lady took it off
- 42:14Speaker 1: for you? What happened? Man? I hear everybody that man
- 42:17Speaker 1: you heard about that fucking weird night? Which one the
- 42:21Speaker 1: one you explained? I've had some weird nights. I had
- 42:24Speaker 1: some really bad, really weird nights. But no, you tell
- 42:27Speaker 1: me it's yours? And then, I mean most of my
- 42:31Speaker 1: weird nights have been off of edibles, dabs or shrooms.
- 42:34Speaker 1: Your sounds way more interested in So what happened to York?
- 42:36Speaker 1: What happened with you? Yeah? Was your role like stolen
- 42:43Speaker 1: or did you lose it? Anybody gonna steal ship for me?
- 42:46Speaker 1: So they didn't? So do you? I mean? You know
- 42:48Speaker 1: you never know? You know? You hearbody? Okay, so get
- 42:51Speaker 1: so you misplaced it? Yeah, some ship. You have a
- 42:54Speaker 1: hunch on where you misplaced it this weird night somewhere. Okay,
- 43:00Speaker 1: this is being very vague. Is there any sort of markings? Like,
- 43:05Speaker 1: is there like a fucking you know, like a TD
- 43:10Speaker 1: logo etched into the back? Of course not, he said,
- 43:17Speaker 1: who the fucking I don't know the fucking label. Hey,
- 43:20Speaker 1: if your girl, if your girl, if your girl gets
- 43:23Speaker 1: you tattooed on it, and instead of tattooing your name,
- 43:25Speaker 1: she gets your logo tattooed. What do you think? Do
- 43:33Speaker 1: you think she's that sure about like how it might
- 43:37Speaker 1: have it? Or do you think she just likes your
- 43:39Speaker 1: logo more than your name? I have no fucking idea.
- 43:41Speaker 1: That's an interesting I don't know. So you're asking if
- 43:45Speaker 1: my girl were to get my logo instead of my name,
- 43:49Speaker 1: would that means she likes walk me down this path again?
- 43:55Speaker 1: Do you think like to me, like, would you think
- 43:57Speaker 1: is like she's like she's willing to take that risk.
- 44:02Speaker 1: But now willing was signed on the line right there? Mmm,
- 44:06Speaker 1: I mean I'm married, So she signed your name? Yeah? Wait,
- 44:11Speaker 1: when it's kind of getting to get your name tattooed
- 44:13Speaker 1: not to say ghetto. No, if it's abody, my wife's
- 44:15Speaker 1: names on my finger, damn, so I'm ghetto, continued behind
- 44:20Speaker 1: my ear. Continue we've already we've already established some ghetto.
- 44:23Speaker 1: But continue. I go to Apple Bee, that's kind of corny.
- 44:25Speaker 1: I go to apple This is corny. Yes, that is corny. Ship. Wow, man,
- 44:29Speaker 1: that's like it's like you had to have known since
- 44:32Speaker 1: like you were a freshman. We got married when uh
- 44:36Speaker 1: we got married four years ago? Okay, how long do
- 44:38Speaker 1: you know that? Probably like six years? How long you
- 44:41Speaker 1: had to tap? I got the tap before we got married.
- 44:46Speaker 1: How long ago is it? Listen? Man? Fuck you Isaiah shot? Damn? Wait?
- 44:56Speaker 1: Whose name is tattooed on your fucking head? Taylor? Who's that?
- 45:00Speaker 1: It's not even business? It was a weird name. Wait?
- 45:03Speaker 1: Do you have a female's name tattooed on you? Who cares? Oh? No,
- 45:07Speaker 1: I mean you're calling me corny? We're both corny? Then
- 45:09Speaker 1: that shiit tak That shit's close to your face. I
- 45:12Speaker 1: could cover this ship up. Nobody sees that. I can
- 45:15Speaker 1: see that. I can't get them. You can't see it
- 45:17Speaker 1: unless I show it to you. You gotta hot. I
- 45:19Speaker 1: put fucking gloves on. Bro. Yeah, exactly, I can fucking
- 45:23Speaker 1: I could take my ship up like a guy damn
- 45:24Speaker 1: basketball player. You know what I'm saying. Your ship is
- 45:27Speaker 1: buying your ear. You gotta grow your hair out. Bro.
- 45:30Speaker 1: Where's Taylor at? Now? Your hair out? Where's Taylor at? Now?
- 45:33Speaker 1: Over there? Oh? Is that Taylor? Oh? Is that you? Oh? Okay, okay,
- 45:37Speaker 1: you know then you get the pass I was gonna say,
- 45:39Speaker 1: is Taylor around right now? Well, she's in the same room,
- 45:42Speaker 1: so you're not. Is that corny that he got your
- 45:44Speaker 1: name tattooed on him? I was fucking like twenty two though,
- 45:48Speaker 1: So you guys are like, you're like thirty four. I'm
- 45:50Speaker 1: twenty first one. I'm a gron ass man. I knew
- 45:53Speaker 1: what I was doing. O bad decisions. Second of all,
- 45:57Speaker 1: you're gonna go by yukon. You and I are both
- 46:00Speaker 1: like you and I are both the same. We each
- 46:03Speaker 1: have a tattoo of the girl we're still with. Right,
- 46:07Speaker 1: you got married, like you didn't have to do that,
- 46:09Speaker 1: Like this was for you to marry her. This was like,
- 46:12Speaker 1: this is the hold off. She just said she's waiting.
- 46:15Speaker 1: She said, you're right. This gave me like three years
- 46:17Speaker 1: that you've don't. All right, so since we're doing this,
- 46:19Speaker 1: what is like what? So? So you did this as
- 46:23Speaker 1: like a here, this is like a this will buy
- 46:26Speaker 1: me three more years until I have to the porch.
- 46:30Speaker 1: So that was eight years ago. This is like four
- 46:34Speaker 1: years ago. Okay, but you've known your girl for how long?
- 46:37Speaker 1: I kissed six tomorrow? So seven? Eight mm hmm. So
- 46:43Speaker 1: when you're gonna when you're gonna pop the question? Man,
- 46:45Speaker 1: I'm just putting you on the spot. I'm thirty. I
- 46:48Speaker 1: wasn't get married, so now you're technically in marriage territory
- 46:53Speaker 1: because now you're thirty. Got an album, I got like
- 46:56Speaker 1: another album that's a while knowing you. You're gonna gonna
- 46:59Speaker 1: get married till he's forty, he said, after the next album,
- 47:03Speaker 1: which is gonna be in twenty twenty nine. This is
- 47:07Speaker 1: guy's the fucking Chattanooga doctor Dre making his way like
- 47:10Speaker 1: it's a fucking detox every four years. She well, Taylor
- 47:14Speaker 1: turned the tables. Shout out to Taylor, she's here, your lovely,
- 47:18Speaker 1: your lovely wife. She's wife by proxy. You know, eight
- 47:21Speaker 1: years that's wife, she's your wife. I guess I was.
- 47:24Speaker 1: I always hit you with but I would let you go. Good. Listen, hey, listen,
- 47:28Speaker 1: we're both in amazing relationships, and we both have our
- 47:31Speaker 1: amazing women's name tattooed on our body. I think the
- 47:33Speaker 1: only thing that would make this more interesting is the
- 47:35Speaker 1: reason was here in pat. Mmmmm yeah, reason. I don't
- 47:41Speaker 1: know what it made that. I mean, we just have
- 47:43Speaker 1: to do it, okay, reason, Can we eat rooms first? Yes?
- 47:48Speaker 1: All right, it's a deal. It's a doozy Isaiah Sho,
- 47:53Speaker 1: I'm down. Yeah, tell fifty old motherfucker over there to
- 47:57Speaker 1: set it up. No, I won't you find Pat Oswald?
- 48:00Speaker 1: Who's Pat? Was that the comedian dude? Like, Oh, that's
- 48:03Speaker 1: the that's the fat comedian guy. Right, you're not fat,
- 48:07Speaker 1: but you know who I'm talking about. He's like a comedian, right,
- 48:10Speaker 1: oh yeah, yeah, he's like he's like one of those
- 48:12Speaker 1: legend Well he's like one of those faces you see
- 48:14Speaker 1: in shows and you're like, I know that guy because
- 48:16Speaker 1: he's in that famous he's like somebody famous. Yeah, but
- 48:20Speaker 1: I'm saying he's like a guy who I can never
- 48:21Speaker 1: think of his name. You only know like six famous
- 48:24Speaker 1: niggas names. The rest of them is just faces. Yeah,
- 48:26Speaker 1: so he's famous, you know, George Clooney. Yeah, Brad Pitt
- 48:29Speaker 1: took you a long time. And this thing with Brad
- 48:31Speaker 1: Pitt from Leonardo DiCaprio, Nah, Leonardo had to do some ship.
- 48:35Speaker 1: I don't think, so, I don't think. I don't think
- 48:37Speaker 1: I had. At first, I was like, because they're white.
- 48:40Speaker 1: Maybe because they're white, I don't like they. You know,
- 48:43Speaker 1: they always say white people look the same, and then
- 48:46Speaker 1: you talk to like you talk to like some people
- 48:48Speaker 1: and they say, he, all Asian people look the same.
- 48:51Speaker 1: I think because I'm racist. No, no, no, I'm saying
- 48:53Speaker 1: that like I think everybody else crazy. Everyone has had
- 48:57Speaker 1: somebody say that a race, everyone looks the same. And
- 49:01Speaker 1: since I'm a part of that race and I'm blind,
- 49:03Speaker 1: so like a Brad Pitt and Leo, I can distinguish
- 49:06Speaker 1: that there are different people kind of look but what
- 49:10Speaker 1: like sometimes le Leo looks like a child. Look related
- 49:13Speaker 1: le looks like an old ass child. Leo just started
- 49:15Speaker 1: looking like an adult exactly fifty. Brad Pitt is like
- 49:19Speaker 1: a season like Brad Pitt. I think is like a
- 49:22Speaker 1: guy like sixty. Yeah, but I think Brad Pitt's the
- 49:24Speaker 1: kind of guy who like Leo, I think I think
- 49:27Speaker 1: clean cut. I think Brad Pitt could have bo and
- 49:29Speaker 1: it'd be all right if that makes sense. Like no,
- 49:33Speaker 1: like if I sat next to Brad Pitt and he
- 49:34Speaker 1: had like a natural aroma'd like it's Brad Pitt. Of
- 49:36Speaker 1: course he doesn't. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I I said next
- 49:40Speaker 1: to Brad Pitt that fuckers some kind of funky But
- 49:41Speaker 1: it was Brad Pitt. So you know, you know, like
- 49:44Speaker 1: Matthew McConaughey just said, no, Matthew McConaughey just said he
- 49:50Speaker 1: hasn't wrote wordy odor in thirty five years. Matthew McConaughey,
- 49:53Speaker 1: another white guy. They all whose nose isn't broke, right,
- 49:56Speaker 1: I don't know he's gotta like but with this would
- 50:00Speaker 1: not broke nose. Yeah, yeah, I love him. Just started
- 50:02Speaker 1: to appreciate you see how you're saying all white people
- 50:04Speaker 1: look the same their variance. You watch Loki, of course,
- 50:09Speaker 1: it's like, well there's like there what we're watching the
- 50:11Speaker 1: multiverse like the first time it broke with with white people.
- 50:17Speaker 1: The only person that doesn't have a variant is like
- 50:19Speaker 1: Angelina Joelee. That's why I'm pretty sure she's not all
- 50:21Speaker 1: the way she might be an alien too. She might
- 50:24Speaker 1: be m her dad's John Boyd, so that that might have.
- 50:29Speaker 1: He's a weird guy. She just she just come if
- 50:35Speaker 1: someone told her she was an alien, like, would you
- 50:37Speaker 1: be surprised? Yeah, she's one of the ones, like I
- 50:40Speaker 1: think if Elon Musk was alien Like yeah, I think
- 50:42Speaker 1: she hates everybody and she just participates. She has some
- 50:46Speaker 1: weird interesting relationships with Billy, Bob Thornton relationship, Bill, they
- 50:51Speaker 1: have relationships with her. Mmm mm hmm. You gotta look
- 50:59Speaker 1: at who's on top right now? Talk about him? Who's
- 51:02Speaker 1: on top? I ain't watched that fucking Santa Claus movie
- 51:06Speaker 1: in a couple of years. No disrespect to him? What
- 51:09Speaker 1: bad Shima? Oh bad Santa? Oh yeah, no, I mean
- 51:12Speaker 1: Billy actually fucked that. I'm dissing that, nigga. And that
- 51:15Speaker 1: first season of Fargo fire. First of all, the first
- 51:18Speaker 1: like three seasons of Fargo were crazy, but he was
- 51:21Speaker 1: like the devil people. Don't you see you fuck with
- 51:24Speaker 1: Fargo on that fact? Not a lot of people do.
- 51:26Speaker 1: And the Cohen's brothers my favorite directors ever. Do you
- 51:29Speaker 1: love Do you love the Big Lebowski? It's my favorite
- 51:32Speaker 1: movie ever. The dude, it's my favorite movie ever. Was
- 51:36Speaker 1: my nigga from Armageddon? Was he actually in the movie?
- 51:40Speaker 1: Which one? He's the guy he's like the only white
- 51:44Speaker 1: guy in Hollywood? Who if he fixed his teeth, we'll
- 51:47Speaker 1: get less rose, Oh, Steve Ami. Yeah's like he keeps
- 51:52Speaker 1: his teeth like that. He's Donnie. He's Donnie. Yeah, he's Donnie. Yeah,
- 51:54Speaker 1: he's dying right now. His name is Donnie and the
- 51:56Speaker 1: Big Lebowski. Shut the fuck up, Donnie bro Yo. But
- 52:02Speaker 1: Shemi though, is like one of my favorite actis he's
- 52:06Speaker 1: he's another guy who was like was he in there?
- 52:09Speaker 1: Was he in that movie? You ever heard of that theory?
- 52:11Speaker 1: Was he actually in it? He was? Was he? Like?
- 52:14Speaker 1: Was his character there? There's a theory that he was
- 52:17Speaker 1: never there, like that he's a part of like one
- 52:20Speaker 1: of the nigga's imaginations. Oh, you're talking about in the
- 52:23Speaker 1: movie within the movie that Donnie never was in the
- 52:25Speaker 1: theory that he's that Donnie's character in that movie. His
- 52:28Speaker 1: character was actually a fingering in their imagination. He was
- 52:31Speaker 1: he was Neil right, his name is Donnie. No, the
- 52:34Speaker 1: other one it was it was Walter Walter. He was
- 52:37Speaker 1: he was part of Walseron's imagination. I could see that
- 52:39Speaker 1: because they shut the fuck up, Donnie, You're out of
- 52:43Speaker 1: your element. Yeah, like they was saying. They were saying,
- 52:47Speaker 1: like the dude doesn't directly talk to him really in
- 52:50Speaker 1: the movie though, that's I mean, m it's always Walter
- 52:55Speaker 1: yelling at Donnie, and that's why I like, that's that's
- 52:57Speaker 1: why I started getting into the coin. But then they
- 52:59Speaker 1: spread Donnie's ashes out of the folders can at the end,
- 53:03Speaker 1: and the ashes go into the dude's mouth, So I
- 53:06Speaker 1: think Donnie was real Donnie. They say, like Donnie died,
- 53:11Speaker 1: he did die, like in the movie, yes, watched before
- 53:14Speaker 1: or something. He dies, he literally dies, And then I
- 53:18Speaker 1: think that's what it's. No, there's there's an explanation about that.
- 53:21Speaker 1: There's an explanation to it, because he talked about Fargo
- 53:25Speaker 1: and Cohen's brothers. Coen brothers did something of my favorite directors.
- 53:28Speaker 1: It was something about the dude was just participating with
- 53:32Speaker 1: Walter doing some crazy ship. There was no Donny. I mean,
- 53:37Speaker 1: I I I mean, I'd love to talk to the
- 53:41Speaker 1: Cohen's brothers and figure out if that is a thing.
- 53:44Speaker 1: I almost went to Lebowski Fest one year, but it's
- 53:47Speaker 1: kind of corny. I had to draw the line in
- 53:49Speaker 1: the stand there I would That's why. That's how I
- 53:51Speaker 1: got into it, like Burn after reading, of course, Burn
- 53:54Speaker 1: after readings slept On movie, sucked up slept On. Like
- 53:56Speaker 1: the dumb It's like the like when I say the
- 53:58Speaker 1: dumb is like in a good Way movie I've ever seen.
- 54:01Speaker 1: It's random as fuck, radts, dumb as fu like wearing
- 54:06Speaker 1: that fucking little for this looking headphones. Yeah, it's like,
- 54:09Speaker 1: I guess that's one of the one of the times
- 54:11Speaker 1: I guess I realized maybe there's like a movie that
- 54:13Speaker 1: actors would like to watch. No Country for Old Man.
- 54:16Speaker 1: Is that shows range of those guys man after his service?
- 54:24Speaker 1: Perhaps a friend Walter I could see. I mean, yeah,
- 54:28Speaker 1: I mean, obviously he's obviously Walter has PTSD uh. Obviously
- 54:34Speaker 1: my dog's name is Labou. The fucking cowboy come back
- 54:36Speaker 1: in the like the last season or season before last,
- 54:39Speaker 1: so Fargo, I the Chris Rock season I didn't watch
- 54:42Speaker 1: it was. I watched the first two or three, so
- 54:45Speaker 1: I watched. The last season I watched was the one
- 54:48Speaker 1: where they accidentally killed the girl in the the Lady
- 54:51Speaker 1: or the accidently killed the girl in the garage and
- 54:53Speaker 1: then put her in the freezer. Killed the dude or
- 54:56Speaker 1: the dude, Yeah, it was the dude. And then it
- 54:58Speaker 1: was like the second season think it might have been
- 55:00Speaker 1: season thre three. That was three three. Yeah, with the couple, Yes,
- 55:04Speaker 1: with the couple. That's the last one. I was crazy. Yeah,
- 55:06Speaker 1: season one is crazy though, That's what it was. No,
- 55:10Speaker 1: which was that the one with the call the fucking
- 55:15Speaker 1: podcast brand, Welcome the fuck the brothers when they it's
- 55:20Speaker 1: it's two brothers. Yeah, brother they played the twins and
- 55:23Speaker 1: when of them got the girlfriend? Mm hmm, that's the one.
- 55:29Speaker 1: And he comes and and so the cowboy from The
- 55:32Speaker 1: Big Lebowski or something, and they like redo the same scene.
- 55:36Speaker 1: It's like making everything connected, like bargos and the like
- 55:40Speaker 1: they're in the same universe. I like that. And three
- 55:43Speaker 1: what are you? What are you watching right now? Though?
- 55:45Speaker 1: That is good? You know what's fire is success succession
- 55:50Speaker 1: and suicide Squad is fire. I watched the inception over
- 55:53Speaker 1: Figure it Out Inception. I never still have not watched it.
- 55:57Speaker 1: I feel like I got someone kind of ruined it
- 55:59Speaker 1: for me and I was just was like, all right,
- 56:01Speaker 1: I'm good I don't need my brain to figure if
- 56:03Speaker 1: I want to meet, if I would ever be able
- 56:05Speaker 1: to speak to Christopher Nolan, because I'm like, this is
- 56:07Speaker 1: the ship to be on your mind, like what's wrong
- 56:09Speaker 1: with him? Or like what's wrong with us? And I'm like,
- 56:14Speaker 1: that must be who's your favorite director? Uh? Because I'm
- 56:24Speaker 1: a nerd? Yeah? Did I say his name? T to
- 56:33Speaker 1: t Wakiki? He did fucking throw the third the second
- 56:39Speaker 1: when he did Ragnarock. He did what we what were
- 56:42Speaker 1: do in the Dark, the Vampire movie. I haven't seen that,
- 56:45Speaker 1: but Ragnarrock was amazing. What else he did? He did
- 56:49Speaker 1: Bojo or JoJo's Rabbit, Joja Rabbit, I haven't seen that.
- 56:53Speaker 1: He's like quirky, but like deepest fucking serious. I mean,
- 56:57Speaker 1: I love ragnar Rock. Ragon Rocks like probably my third
- 56:59Speaker 1: or fourth favorite Marvel movies. He's probably my favorite director.
- 57:02Speaker 1: Or whoever wrote Forrest Cup who did? I don't even
- 57:07Speaker 1: know who get that? Who did? Was that? He never asked? Right?
- 57:10Speaker 1: Who did? For his Tom Hanks get way too much credit?
- 57:13Speaker 1: Fast offense? What do you think Tom Hanks thinks about
- 57:17Speaker 1: Chet Hanks signing The Soldier Boys s O d MG.
- 57:21Speaker 1: He probably as a parent. Think he's proud. Probably like, man,
- 57:24Speaker 1: you're on bro. He signed with the we signed with
- 57:26Speaker 1: Big Director. When you work your whole life, I think
- 57:28Speaker 1: if you work your whole life to create a pathway
- 57:32Speaker 1: for your kids to do whatever they want to do.
- 57:33Speaker 1: He literally wants to be a rapper and speak pat
- 57:37Speaker 1: and all that ship Like did he get that ship off?
- 57:41Speaker 1: Like the Thanksgiving is gonna be better than last year?
- 57:47Speaker 1: You got his s D. You got a SD like
- 57:50Speaker 1: Tom or Soldier Boy, first rapper to be in Tom
- 57:54Speaker 1: Hanks house. He's coming, that photo is coming. Oh, that'd
- 58:00Speaker 1: be great. Well, listen album coming up? I hope not.
- 58:07Speaker 1: Who's Soldier Boys? Soldier Boys out? Albums coming out? Shout
- 58:09Speaker 1: to him. I'm doing a party with tomorrow in Phoenix.
- 58:11Speaker 1: Why does know you Soldier? I know his manager. I
- 58:15Speaker 1: mean he's been here. He's a hero. Huh. Want to
- 58:20Speaker 1: meet him? He's a hero. I just want to say
- 58:21Speaker 1: I met soldier That's easy. I want to be the first.
- 58:26Speaker 1: You'll be the first Isaiah Shot to meet Soldier Boys. Quite,
- 58:28Speaker 1: I don't know. You think that's a pretty common name.
- 58:30Speaker 1: Isaiah Shad. Somewhere in the world, there's there's there's I
- 58:32Speaker 1: mean it feels like there's there's a lot of Isaiah
- 58:34Speaker 1: shan Any tattoo. This a kind of up but kind
- 58:39Speaker 1: of like I was like riding Little Flex. It's just
- 58:42Speaker 1: do you have any any people out there getting your
- 58:44Speaker 1: name tattooed or anything? People tattooed my face on them?
- 58:47Speaker 1: Is that weird? Is that ship weird? I don't understand
- 58:50Speaker 1: why anybody with tattooed the Sun's tyrade, like the little guy. Yeah,
- 58:55Speaker 1: that's kind of fire. That's like different than like your face. Yeah,
- 58:57Speaker 1: it's I know that they're going to cover up one day,
- 59:00Speaker 1: but your actual face is tattooed on people's bodies like
- 59:03Speaker 1: a cartoon ringing in my face. It's weird. Yeah, because
- 59:07Speaker 1: I would like talk to Tech nine and I'd always
- 59:08Speaker 1: be like, bro, how do you deal with all these
- 59:10Speaker 1: juggalos with like your face tattooed on their body next
- 59:12Speaker 1: to like the hatchet man. It's just part of the world,
- 59:15Speaker 1: I guess, you know it is. I'd just be like,
- 59:17Speaker 1: you're gonna regret that probably, Well, we're not going to
- 59:21Speaker 1: regret our tattoos or our lovely women's names that we have.
- 59:25Speaker 1: I'm trying to get it, like I'm trying to get
- 59:27Speaker 1: a ring so I can like low key cover stuff.
- 59:29Speaker 1: I feel like this is a you gotta swap them
- 59:33Speaker 1: out so you get Okay, okay, okay, let's let's let's
- 59:35Speaker 1: figure this out. So, I mean this is on like
- 59:37Speaker 1: twenty four hours. So this this decision was, hey, instead
- 59:41Speaker 1: of us getting married, instead of instead of us getting married,
- 59:44Speaker 1: here's your name tattooed on me, so you know it's real.
- 59:47Speaker 1: Once we get married, I'm covering the tattoo up. Yeah,
- 59:49Speaker 1: because you got the ring. Swap them out. Swap It's
- 59:52Speaker 1: like either or which one would you want? It's contrasts.
- 59:55Speaker 1: It's like, right now we're rolling over at thirty, we're
- 59:57Speaker 1: rolling over in the free agency. We're thinking about, well,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: we're restricted free agents though, so we're thinking about what
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: the rest of our lives are going to be like
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: the next next tie you think. So, non married people
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: are restricted free agents if they're in relationship restricted free agent.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: Nobody when you're going through those life barriers and you
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: come and when you like when you walk into a
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: room and Niggas is like, oh so yeah, I ain't married.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: That lets you know that you're in restricted free agency.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: It could go down any day. But it also be
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: pretty straight. You're still playing, season still going on, so
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: you're you're in restricted free agency. But it's like, because
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: we got to make that decision type of shit, it's
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: never gonna be anybody's decisions. It's kind of like Kawhi,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: that's not nobody's gonna Kauhi. Everyone knew he was going
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: to resign with the Clippers, right, you know what I mean?
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: I mean the last couple of days was like, Nah,
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: everybody's cap space was eating up. Nobody had any fucking
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: money to sign him. It seemed like all this it's
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: like you look out there, it's like, yeah, it's like
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: if you leave it, that's like the only baverage out there.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: That's interesting. He's one of your favorite players because he's
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: just just a very boring guy. Not boring to watch. Now.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: It's a very good taste of music. I didn't even
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: know it. That's a good curator. We had a good time.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: I think anything beyond that, he got a patent to
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: be here. There it is. And so Isaiah Rashad, the
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: new album is out, the tour is going to be crazy.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: Forty eight Cities Man
