- 0:11Speaker 1: And now, the mob guys, Craig Coyenese. And when dolce
- 0:28Speaker 1: fino on KSV radio.
- 0:39Speaker 2: We are the Mob Guys.
- 0:42Speaker 3: Hey.
- 0:42Speaker 4: Hey, as we call ourselves on KSV radio. We are
- 0:45Speaker 4: sitting very close together.
- 0:46Speaker 5: At a small table.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Little big guys.
- 0:50Speaker 4: Usually we have the distance of, like, several buildings between us,
- 0:54Speaker 4: several miles, as you were working in your studio.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Well, that was the only way I would agree to
- 0:57Speaker 2: do the show at all, was keep Collin A's over there.
- 1:02Speaker 5: Not Collin A's.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Well, good.
- 1:03Speaker 5: Okay, we're using the real name now.
- 1:04Speaker 6: I forgot.
- 1:04Speaker 5: I forgot for a second.
- 1:05Speaker 4: My name is Craig Collin A's. We said he's Wayne
- 1:07Speaker 4: Del Trofino. And we have Jonathan sitting with us, too.
- 1:10Speaker 4: He is the president and lawyer.
- 1:12Speaker 5: Is that right?
- 1:13Speaker 4: Legal counsel for Texas Values, which is behind us. Jonathan,
- 1:17Speaker 4: how are you doing, buddy?
- 1:18Speaker 7: Good morning. I'm doing great. I'm so excited to have
- 1:20Speaker 7: y'all here in our offices, you know, being a part
- 1:24Speaker 7: of our event, Texas Faith Fest, which is on Saturday
- 1:27Speaker 7: tomorrow here in Central Texas. And I'm sitting next to
- 1:31Speaker 7: the one and only Wayne Del Cofino. And I aged
- 1:34Speaker 7: him a little bit when I saw him. I wasn't
- 1:36Speaker 7: a kid. I was probably a little bit older when
- 1:38Speaker 7: I first heard of you.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Yeah, he said he's been watching me since he's like
- 1:42Speaker 2: a little boy. You know, I meet people that are
- 1:44Speaker 2: like 90 now. I've been watching you since I was
- 1:47Speaker 2: a kid. I'm like, what am I, like a dinosaur?
- 1:50Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't want to know that.
- 1:51Speaker 7: Well, that would be like Marvin Zindler, though. You know,
- 1:54Speaker 7: that guy is, you know, God bless him.
- 1:56Speaker 5: Let me ask you this, Jonathan.
- 1:57Speaker 4: When you see Wayne D'Altrofino walk in, I know you're
- 1:59Speaker 4: not hiding anything, but does the back of your mind go,
- 2:02Speaker 4: I hope he doesn't look at stuff?
- 2:03Speaker 2: No, Jonathan was running.
- 2:06Speaker 7: No, you don't know what we did yesterday before y'all
- 2:10Speaker 7: got here, okay?
- 2:10Speaker 5: No, I'm teasing.
- 2:12Speaker 7: But anytime there are media types, I know if there's
- 2:14Speaker 7: stuff sitting around, who knows what they'll come up with. But, no,
- 2:17Speaker 7: we know you guys are here to put on a
- 2:18Speaker 7: good show, to cover the event. And in all seriousness, though,
- 2:22Speaker 7: I mean, growing up in Houston, I mean, born and
- 2:24Speaker 7: raised there, went to Galena Park High School, went to
- 2:27Speaker 7: the University of Houston Law Center. You know, personalities that
- 2:30Speaker 7: you know just about everybody knows that they've heard of.
- 2:33Speaker 7: Wayne D'Ultrafino, you've got Mattress Mac, you've got, you know,
- 2:36Speaker 7: Marvin Zinn. They're all these kind of, you know, Dr.
- 2:39Speaker 7: Red Duke, remember him? I mean, all these characters are
- 2:41Speaker 7: sort of like larger than life. But, you know, I
- 2:45Speaker 7: don't think I'm at any level like that. But I
- 2:47Speaker 7: appreciate those type of names, that staying power, and the visibility.
- 2:51Speaker 7: That's why we have these events we do. We have
- 2:53Speaker 7: you all part of it because we know the power
- 2:55Speaker 7: of the media. We know the power of messaging and
- 2:57Speaker 7: the voice. And so we're glad that you are a
- 2:59Speaker 7: part of everything we're doing the next couple days.
- 3:01Speaker 5: Tell us what you're doing in the next couple days.
- 3:03Speaker 7: No, appreciate it. Texas Faith Fest is a statewide event.
- 3:06Speaker 7: The goal is to educate, motivate, and activate on the
- 3:10Speaker 7: issues of faith, family, and freedom. in the state of Texas.
- 3:13Speaker 7: Most of the topics that will be covered will be
- 3:16Speaker 7: related to what's going on in Texas, people that care
- 3:18Speaker 7: about values issues, what are the newest laws, what's on
- 3:22Speaker 7: the horizon, what's going to happen in the next legislative
- 3:24Speaker 7: session in 2027. The work that we do as a
- 3:27Speaker 7: statewide organization Our office is across the street from the
- 3:30Speaker 7: state capitol. We're the only organization that has someone at
- 3:32Speaker 7: the capitol every day of the legislative session. But we'll
- 3:35Speaker 7: also go down to local school board meetings, and we'll
- 3:37Speaker 7: go to city council meetings. It's really about helping empower
- 3:40Speaker 7: people to have their own voice heard and their values
- 3:43Speaker 7: advocated for. I'm a lawyer. We don't always have to
- 3:46Speaker 7: go to court on some issues, but sometimes you do.
- 3:49Speaker 7: I like to have whatever tool I need to pull.
- 3:51Speaker 7: out of the toolbox. And I got to shout out
- 3:52Speaker 7: Galena Park ISD.
- 3:54Speaker 6: Okay.
- 3:54Speaker 7: That's where I went to high school. But a week
- 3:56Speaker 7: and a half ago, I sent a letter to them
- 3:58Speaker 7: along with our friend, Bonnie Wallace, who was drug out
- 4:01Speaker 7: of a Houston ISD school board meeting. I don't know
- 4:03Speaker 7: if y'all saw that a couple of months ago for
- 4:05Speaker 7: protesting against sexually explicit, inappropriate books and kids, public school libraries.
- 4:10Speaker 7: I sent in a letter reminding Galena Park ISD that
- 4:12Speaker 7: I went to school there. I'm a lawyer. Now I
- 4:14Speaker 7: was friendly. Bonnie Wallace was at the meeting. Dr. Rick Scarborough.
- 4:17Speaker 7: The next day they pulled the books out. I was like,
- 4:20Speaker 7: How nice. I would love for that to happen in
- 4:23Speaker 7: other parts of the state. But that's what we do.
- 4:25Speaker 7: In the event, our subline is where new leaders rise.
- 4:29Speaker 7: You will find the people that speak at this event
- 4:32Speaker 7: are just on the cusp of really becoming much more important.
- 4:35Speaker 7: They've already made a name for themselves in some ways.
- 4:37Speaker 7: I mean, look at Brandon Gill. He's our keynote speaker.
- 4:39Speaker 7: This is a congressman. from North Texas. But not everybody
- 4:43Speaker 7: watched his RNC speech in Dallas a week and a
- 4:45Speaker 7: half ago, but a lot of people did. And they're
- 4:47Speaker 7: saying a lot of great things about him. We'll see
- 4:49Speaker 7: what he does. But then we've got Save Women sports
- 4:52Speaker 7: leaders like Brooke Slusser. She's what I call Riley Gaines'
- 4:54Speaker 7: little sister. She's had a similar situation where she had
- 4:58Speaker 7: to compete against a male student. She had to travel
- 5:01Speaker 7: on trips with this guy, and he put all this
- 5:03Speaker 7: makeup on and disguised himself. But she's from North Texas.
- 5:06Speaker 7: She's going to talk about these issues. And then speaking
- 5:09Speaker 7: of the Sharia issue, you and I were talking about
- 5:11Speaker 7: this before we came on. We've got three elected officials
- 5:14Speaker 7: that are going to talk about the rise of radical
- 5:17Speaker 7: Islam in Texas, also Sharia law, and what we're going
- 5:21Speaker 7: to do to sort of corral those issues or deal
- 5:24Speaker 7: with them next legislative session. All the topics people are
- 5:27Speaker 7: talking about, we're going to be talking at this event. TexasFaithFest.com
- 5:30Speaker 7: is the website. There's still time to get tickets. Pastor
- 5:33Speaker 7: tickets and student tickets are free. And General Mission covers
- 5:37Speaker 7: a lunch. It covers an ice cream truck at the
- 5:38Speaker 7: end of the event. We've got a little breakfast. And
- 5:40Speaker 7: so it's a great deal.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:41Speaker 4: No, and actually, it's interesting because you mentioned Riley Gaines.
- 5:44Speaker 4: She spoke at this event a few years ago.
- 5:45Speaker 7: That's right.
- 5:46Speaker 5: And you say that Brandon Gill is speaking on this weekend.
- 5:48Speaker 4: You are doing a great job of discovering the next star,
- 5:51Speaker 4: which I think to your point about there being tickets
- 5:54Speaker 4: available still, this is one of the only opportunities you'll
- 5:57Speaker 4: probably have at this cost to see Brandon Gill speak
- 6:00Speaker 4: to anybody.
- 6:01Speaker 7: And we do have a meet-and-greet reception with Brandon Gill
- 6:04Speaker 7: if you upgrade to a VIP ticket on Saturday. But
- 6:07Speaker 7: you know how a lot of elected officials are. I'm
- 6:09Speaker 7: sure he's going to be walking around talking with people.
- 6:12Speaker 7: So even if you get that general admission ticket or
- 6:14Speaker 7: you get that free student ticket or that free pastor ticket,
- 6:17Speaker 7: Your chances are pretty good you're going to be able
- 6:18Speaker 7: to have some interaction with them. But that's what we're
- 6:20Speaker 7: all about. We say all the time, government belongs to
- 6:23Speaker 7: those who show up. Be in the room. Be a
- 6:26Speaker 7: part of this event. It'll be worthwhile.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Look, I just want to say it's great to be
- 6:30Speaker 2: back in Texas. I was in California the last three days.
- 6:34Speaker 2: I was like going, where?
- 6:35Speaker 5: What the hell?
- 6:36Speaker 2: Where the hell am I?
- 6:37Speaker 5: What happened?
- 6:39Speaker 2: I don't understand. I think I went into a trans bank.
- 6:42Speaker 8: Yes.
- 6:42Speaker 2: I think there was a bank.
- 6:43Speaker 7: Well, and to be honest, actually, even more so, the
- 6:45Speaker 7: Texas- Did you come out a woman after you got
- 6:46Speaker 7: out of that bank?
- 6:47Speaker 2: No, but I'll point this out. I was with a
- 6:49Speaker 2: couple of my young staff. And so someone said in
- 6:54Speaker 2: the backseat, oh, there's a trans flag. And I said, well,
- 6:57Speaker 2: what does that look like? And I was like, I
- 6:59Speaker 2: know the gay flag, but apparently it's the same flag.
- 7:03Speaker 7: I just got some additional stripes and colors, I think.
- 7:07Speaker 2: I get the stripes, but it's the same flag. That's right.
- 7:11Speaker 2: So I don't understand what happened to the gay flag.
- 7:14Speaker 7: Look, I mean, this is this whole issue. It started
- 7:17Speaker 7: as gay. Then it was... gay and lesbian, then it
- 7:20Speaker 7: was LGBT, then it was LGBT +, then it was LGBTQ.
- 7:24Speaker 2: It just continues to.
- 7:27Speaker 7: Go because, and look, not to get too deep in
- 7:30Speaker 7: the law just yet because it is early, but when
- 7:32Speaker 7: you don't have a consistent definition that people can understand
- 7:37Speaker 7: and that can be applied, it can be whatever someone
- 7:39Speaker 7: feels for one day to the next and that leads
- 7:41Speaker 7: to chaos.
- 7:43Speaker 2: We talked about his priorities, the group's priorities for the
- 7:47Speaker 2: legislative session because I was I was asking Jonathan, okay,
- 7:52Speaker 2: what's number one for us?
- 7:54Speaker 7: Yeah, look, I think a lot of it starts with
- 7:56Speaker 7: stronger enforcement of a lot of laws that we've already passed.
- 7:59Speaker 7: Not to take anything away from some of those laws,
- 8:01Speaker 7: whether they're pro-life, whether it's Save Women Sports, whether it's
- 8:04Speaker 7: not allowing kids to have their bodies caught up in
- 8:06Speaker 7: the name of science and so-called transitions. There's so many
- 8:10Speaker 7: things across the board that we passed. Many of those
- 8:12Speaker 7: laws were strong, but some of them we didn't get
- 8:15Speaker 7: to have some of the enforcement in there we wanted.
- 8:17Speaker 7: Sometimes that's what gets left or that's where the compromise is.
- 8:20Speaker 7: So you get the best you can. But we're going
- 8:22Speaker 7: to be looking across the board and saying, look, we've
- 8:24Speaker 7: got much stronger leaders in the House and the Senate.
- 8:28Speaker 7: Let's strengthen some of those laws we passed. A handful
- 8:31Speaker 7: of years ago. So you don't have California and you
- 8:33Speaker 7: don't have New York trying to take advantage of some
- 8:36Speaker 7: of those so-called loopholes you have. And I'm not kidding. Y'all,
- 8:39Speaker 7: if you don't get a chance to go look at
- 8:40Speaker 7: it in downtown Austin, there's this billboard of Gavin Newsom's
- 8:44Speaker 7: big forehead or whatever, you know. and all of his
- 8:47Speaker 7: hair and all that stuff saying, come to California. I
- 8:50Speaker 7: will send you money to fly you to California so
- 8:52Speaker 7: you can kill your baby and do it in California.
- 8:54Speaker 7: We've got to put a stop to that stuff. Amen.
- 8:56Speaker 4: Look, I want to ask you another question, and I
- 8:59Speaker 4: think to Wayne's point of feeling like you're in Texas
- 9:01Speaker 4: even more so at Texas Faith Fest.
- 9:03Speaker 5: I think that makes the Texas jump.
- 9:04Speaker 7: Up a little higher.
- 9:05Speaker 4: But our next guest is also a legal counsel guy,
- 9:08Speaker 4: senior counsel for Alliance Defending Freedom.
- 9:10Speaker 5: Can you tell me anything about Jeremy?
- 9:12Speaker 7: Jeremy Samick, you know, actually he's new to Texas, okay?
- 9:15Speaker 7: So– The Texas Values Organization is a nonprofit organization, but
- 9:20Speaker 7: we're part of a network of what's called family policy councils.
- 9:23Speaker 7: They're state-based. They work on state policy. They interact. We
- 9:26Speaker 7: don't try to go to D.C. a lot and all
- 9:28Speaker 7: that kind of stuff. And so there's a group like
- 9:30Speaker 7: ours in almost every state, and I believe he was
- 9:33Speaker 7: originally or just came from Pennsylvania where he was doing
- 9:36Speaker 7: a lot of work with an organization similar to ours.
- 9:38Speaker 7: So Jeremy and I have known each other for a while.
- 9:40Speaker 7: As a matter of fact, he called me like a
- 9:41Speaker 7: month or so ago and told me he was making
- 9:43Speaker 7: the move to Texas. I think he's going to be
- 9:46Speaker 7: working out of the Dallas office, Alliance Defending Freedom. And
- 9:48Speaker 7: he was like, hey, where do I get the good food?
- 9:50Speaker 7: Where do I get chips and queso? I don't know.
- 9:51Speaker 7: He asked me something related to something local.
- 9:54Speaker 2: It was a very important subject.
- 9:57Speaker 7: To something local.
- 9:57Speaker 5: The most important issues.
- 9:59Speaker 7: But it's... And we're excited to have him part of
- 10:01Speaker 7: the event because we've worked shoulders. As a matter of fact,
- 10:03Speaker 7: I stood outside the U.S. Supreme Court room with him
- 10:06Speaker 7: in like 15 degree weather in the lawyer line, because
- 10:09Speaker 7: if you're a lawyer, you, there's sort of a backdoor
- 10:11Speaker 7: where you can get into the Supreme court during oral
- 10:14Speaker 7: arguments a little bit easier. It is a real thing.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Okay.
- 10:17Speaker 7: You have to be, um, someone who's a part of
- 10:19Speaker 7: the U S Supreme court bar. You have to go
- 10:21Speaker 7: through a process anyway. So we're standing out there because
- 10:23Speaker 7: we're going to go into the courtroom when they argue
- 10:26Speaker 7: the save women's sports issue. This is a case coming
- 10:28Speaker 7: out of West Virginia and Idaho. So, but we had
- 10:31Speaker 7: some nice, you know, moments there to, um, you know,
- 10:34Speaker 7: keep each other warm next to each other. But Jeremy's
- 10:37Speaker 7: a great guy. We're glad he's going to be a
- 10:38Speaker 7: part of our event. And Alliance Defending Freedom is involved
- 10:41Speaker 7: in so many of the different issues that we work
- 10:43Speaker 7: on from a legal perspective. They have good policy expertise,
- 10:48Speaker 7: but they've got good visibility and reach. You know, they
- 10:50Speaker 7: helped with some events this week from Capitol Hill, some
- 10:55Speaker 7: congressional hearings on the Save Women sports issue. So I'm
- 10:58Speaker 7: super excited about having Jeremy, but that's the type of
- 11:00Speaker 7: people we bring at this event. They know what's going on.
- 11:02Speaker 4: And then one last thing before we let you go,
- 11:03Speaker 4: because I know we're almost out of time. You guys
- 11:05Speaker 4: have a podcast yourself, right? You guys have your own show.
- 11:08Speaker 7: I dabble in some of the things you guys do daily,
- 11:11Speaker 7: once a week, sometimes more than once a week. It's
- 11:13Speaker 7: called the Texas Values Report. Just about all of the
- 11:16Speaker 7: podcasting platforms and formats you can find us out there. iTunes, SoundCloud,
- 11:21Speaker 7: you name it. We've been doing it for about eight years.
- 11:23Speaker 7: I think we've had over 500 episodes. But really for us,
- 11:26Speaker 7: it's another tool to get our message out, right? Whatever
- 11:28Speaker 7: we can do. It's not something we do every day.
- 11:31Speaker 7: I'm not trying to be the next great radio show host,
- 11:35Speaker 7: but it's a way to keep our voice unfiltered from
- 11:37Speaker 7: times past. We want to go into something a little
- 11:40Speaker 7: bit more detailed. But usually you can hear it and
- 11:42Speaker 7: see it at 11 a.m. on Thursdays. We broadcast live
- 11:46Speaker 7: through Facebook, also YouTube. And then pieces of it will
- 11:50Speaker 7: be up and sort of clipped up and shown on
- 11:53Speaker 7: social media. But usually 11 a.m. on Thursdays is when
- 11:56Speaker 7: you can find it live on Facebook.
- 11:57Speaker 6: Cool.
- 11:58Speaker 9: Awesome.
- 11:58Speaker 4: I know we've got to take a break. Russell, you
- 12:00Speaker 4: can go ahead and hit the music. We will be
- 12:01Speaker 4: back in just a bit. I see that our next
- 12:03Speaker 4: guest is already behind the scenes for our social media
- 12:06Speaker 4: pages and for our video.
- 12:08Speaker 5: So we will have Jeremy up next. Thank you one
- 12:10Speaker 5: more time, Jonathan.
- 12:10Speaker 4: How do people get tickets, by the way?
- 12:12Speaker 5: Say it one more time.
- 12:12Speaker 7: TexasFaithFest.com is the website. If you forget, TexasValues.com is our website.
- 12:19Speaker 7: September 26th. It's going to be an incredible event. Educate, motivate,
- 12:23Speaker 7: and activate. Thanks, guys.

- 16:23Speaker 4: name is Craig Colonese. He is Wayne Dolcefino. We call
- 16:27Speaker 4: ourselves the Mob Guys on KSEV Radio.
- 16:30Speaker 5: I like that I just kind of yelled that a
- 16:31Speaker 5: little bit louder than normal.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I was kind of wondering.
- 16:33Speaker 7: Was it you?
- 16:34Speaker 2: I'm right here. I'm literally like inches from you.
- 16:37Speaker 5: I went too far with it?
- 16:38Speaker 2: Okay.
- 16:38Speaker 19: All right.
- 16:38Speaker 5: I'll try to pull that back.
- 16:40Speaker 4: Our next guest is another big-time speaker here at the
- 16:44Speaker 4: Faith Fest event.
- 16:45Speaker 5: We are thrilled to have him here with us. Jeremy,
- 16:47Speaker 5: welcome to the show. How are you doing, buddy? Happy
- 16:49Speaker 5: to be here.
- 16:49Speaker 13: Cool.
- 16:50Speaker 5: A lot, a lot of things to talk about, a
- 16:51Speaker 5: lot of things to get to.
- 16:53Speaker 4: We just heard from Jonathan Sinez how awesome you are.
- 16:58Speaker 4: But tell me more about Alliance Defending Freedom and the
- 17:00Speaker 4: work you're doing legally.
- 17:02Speaker 5: You said you said you have 400.
- 17:03Speaker 6: Sorry.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 17:04Speaker 5: Do that again. I think I was having an audio
- 17:06Speaker 5: issue on our radio side. Say that one more time.
- 17:08Speaker 5: What do you say? Go start all over.
- 17:11Speaker 8: Yeah, thanks for having me here. I'm with Alliance Defending Freedom.
- 17:15Speaker 8: I'm senior counsel and Alliance Defending Freedom is the world's
- 17:18Speaker 8: largest religious freedom organization committed to protecting not only religious freedom,
- 17:23Speaker 8: but free speech, parental rights, sanctity of life. We have
- 17:26Speaker 8: about 450 team members across 11 offices around the world.
- 17:30Speaker 8: And so we just had our recent 20th U.S.
- 17:33Speaker 6: Supreme Court victory.
- 17:35Speaker 5: Wow, that's amazing.
- 17:36Speaker 4: That's incredible. Congratulations on that. Do you want to give
- 17:39Speaker 4: us a little bit more insight? into some of the
- 17:41Speaker 4: cases that you're fighting right now?
- 17:44Speaker 8: Yeah, right now we have another one that just got
- 17:47Speaker 8: picked up by the U.S. Supreme Court maybe two days
- 17:50Speaker 8: after the recent victory on girl sports that we just
- 17:53Speaker 8: had with a person who wanted to have a Bible study,
- 17:57Speaker 8: a religious study.
- 17:59Speaker 6: In their home.
- 18:00Speaker 8: And basically what happened, I'm just going to cut it
- 18:03Speaker 8: very short, the township didn't want them to have it.
- 18:07Speaker 8: Usually it's one of those things where neighbors complain. But
- 18:10Speaker 8: they tried a variety of different ways. First, they wanted
- 18:13Speaker 8: to have him apply. to get registered as a religious
- 18:16Speaker 8: organization in order to allow him to do it. But
- 18:19Speaker 8: then he realized, well, if I apply and do that,
- 18:21Speaker 8: then I'm going to be zoned out of even being
- 18:23Speaker 8: able to do this at my house. It's ridiculous that
- 18:25Speaker 8: he's even got this far, but we're happy that the U.S.
- 18:28Speaker 6: Supreme Court has decided to take this one up.
- 18:29Speaker 5: That's amazing. Go ahead, Wayne.
- 18:31Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, you mentioned family rights, parental rights, and
- 18:35Speaker 2: I do a lot of investigations in the family courts
- 18:38Speaker 2: and just got back from California where a judge, some
- 18:42Speaker 2: crazy California judge, has just ordered that a woman lose
- 18:47Speaker 2: her children, that she's been like their only parent their
- 18:49Speaker 2: entire life, because suddenly her husband or ex now wants
- 18:55Speaker 2: to play house, and literally they're going to take these
- 18:58Speaker 2: kids away from her and not ever let them see
- 19:01Speaker 2: them again. I am shocked at how many people around
- 19:04Speaker 2: the country, both men and women, I'm not trying to
- 19:07Speaker 2: pick on men here. I mean, there's issues with them, too.
- 19:10Speaker 2: How many people are being affected by these runaway family courts?
- 19:15Speaker 6: Yeah, this is a big problem.
- 19:17Speaker 8: It's something I've personally worked on where we had a
- 19:20Speaker 8: family who came to us. This was a few years
- 19:23Speaker 8: ago in Pennsylvania where the CYS came because of a
- 19:27Speaker 8: complaint from a teacher. And the teacher told them that
- 19:30Speaker 8: the student said that the parents don't support the kid's
- 19:34Speaker 8: gender identity at home. Because they're Catholics. And so COS came,
- 19:40Speaker 8: they did an investigation, and on the report itself, they said,
- 19:44Speaker 8: because of the parent's Catholic faith, they don't support the
- 19:47Speaker 8: kid's gender identity.
- 19:49Speaker 6: That's barely a paraphrase. And remove the.
- 19:52Speaker 8: Kid to do an investigation into any sort of abuse.
- 19:56Speaker 8: The kid was gone for a month and a half
- 19:58Speaker 8: before we finally got the call. We were able to
- 20:00Speaker 8: get them back a month and a half.
- 20:03Speaker 6: After that time.
- 20:04Speaker 8: But absolutely zero, zero allegations of anything else but three
- 20:09Speaker 8: months out of the home because a teacher says that
- 20:12Speaker 8: the parents don't support a kid's gender identity. And these
- 20:14Speaker 8: were parents, by the way, that these weren't harsh. They
- 20:17Speaker 8: were just like, look, we don't agree with you. If
- 20:18Speaker 8: you want to buy clothes that you want to buy
- 20:20Speaker 8: a skirt, we're not going to use our money for that.
- 20:22Speaker 6: This is a 16 year old.
- 20:23Speaker 8: You can use your money for that kind of nonsense,
- 20:25Speaker 8: but we're not going to purchase it ourselves. Three months
- 20:29Speaker 8: out of the home.
- 20:30Speaker 4: What do you hear from parents when you win cases
- 20:32Speaker 4: like that? When you get the capability to allow parents
- 20:37Speaker 4: to be parents, to allow parents to guide their children?
- 20:40Speaker 4: What kind of feedback do you get from the people
- 20:42Speaker 4: who are grateful for the work you're doing?
- 20:44Speaker 8: Well, I think anybody who goes through these kinds of things,
- 20:47Speaker 8: there's a couple of different stages, right?
- 20:49Speaker 6: There's the anger stage. There's the frustration.
- 20:54Speaker 8: I love to see when people are looking at it
- 20:55Speaker 8: and saying, how can this situation be redeemed for good?
- 21:00Speaker 8: How can this situation be something that we can work
- 21:03Speaker 8: to make sure that it doesn't happen with other families
- 21:06Speaker 8: in the future? Yeah.
- 21:09Speaker 6: I think that's what happened here.
- 21:10Speaker 8: We were able to get to the bottom of it
- 21:12Speaker 8: and find out that there was the entity that was
- 21:15Speaker 8: training these CYS agents and what they're called in Pennsylvania
- 21:20Speaker 8: and basically telling them– I don't know if you've ever
- 21:22Speaker 8: heard the quote from– Niemuller in Russia, where it said, first,
- 21:29Speaker 8: they came for the trade unionists, and I wasn't a
- 21:31Speaker 8: trade unionist, so I didn't speak up.
- 21:32Speaker 6: But then they came.
- 21:33Speaker 8: For this group, and I wasn't a part of this group,
- 21:35Speaker 8: and so I didn't speak up. And then they came
- 21:37Speaker 8: for me, and there was nobody left to speak up.
- 21:39Speaker 6: Well, it was the.
- 21:41Speaker 8: University of Pittsburgh's training program for these CYS agents and
- 21:44Speaker 8: telling them, using that quote, In the context of saying
- 21:48Speaker 8: that when you come across people and parents who don't support,
- 21:53Speaker 8: who don't celebrate their kid's gender identity, that's the equivalent
- 21:58Speaker 8: of not speaking up for people who are being taken
- 22:01Speaker 8: away by Nazis.
- 22:02Speaker 6: That's the analogy that they were drawing.
- 22:04Speaker 8: They even went so far as to say that here
- 22:07Speaker 8: are positive and here are negative approaches of parents. In
- 22:11Speaker 8: the negative category, they're talking about things like just tolerating them.
- 22:16Speaker 8: your child's beliefs if you're different. So you have to
- 22:18Speaker 8: celebrate if you want to be looked on favorably by.
- 22:21Speaker 6: These agents of the state.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Look, I know we're in Texas. And so we have,
- 22:27Speaker 2: I keep on talking about my California trip because the
- 22:31Speaker 2: states are so different. And I guess I always say
- 22:36Speaker 2: this year, the Republicans shouldn't concentrate on trans stuff because
- 22:39Speaker 2: we did that last time in That's over. But it's
- 22:41Speaker 2: not over. It's actually not over.
- 22:44Speaker 5: Yeah, because guys like.
- 22:44Speaker 4: Him are actually fighting this fight and they're being crazy
- 22:47Speaker 4: about it. What do you think of that, actually, if
- 22:50Speaker 4: you don't mind me asking? Some of the messaging in
- 22:52Speaker 4: politics that helps to get the importance of.
- 22:55Speaker 5: These issues to the people that might not be aware
- 22:58Speaker 5: of them.
- 22:58Speaker 4: I think if a parent is going through something where
- 23:01Speaker 4: their kid is convinced they're a boy but they're a girl...
- 23:03Speaker 4: They're going to be very aware of the importance of
- 23:05Speaker 4: an issue like this. But for the vast majority of us,
- 23:08Speaker 4: we're not that close to it.
- 23:09Speaker 5: We can't touch these kind of issues.
- 23:11Speaker 4: What do you think of the best way to deliver
- 23:14Speaker 4: outside of like Texas Faith Fest and what they're going
- 23:16Speaker 4: to do and what your speech is probably going to do?
- 23:18Speaker 4: How do we get more people involved in understanding the
- 23:20Speaker 4: importance of what you're doing?
- 23:23Speaker 8: I think that, you know, with politics, there's always messages
- 23:26Speaker 8: that are going to ebb and flow. And you got
- 23:30Speaker 8: to talk about the economy, right?
- 23:31Speaker 6: You got to talk about these things.
- 23:32Speaker 8: But yeah, These aren't– the gender ideology isn't something that
- 23:36Speaker 8: gets limited to one area or just if you have kids,
- 23:39Speaker 8: you have to worry about it. Or if you have
- 23:40Speaker 8: kids that go to school, you have to worry about it.
- 23:43Speaker 8: There are people that lose their jobs at the local
- 23:48Speaker 8: oil change place because of gender ideology. I'm talking about
- 23:51Speaker 8: real cases that I've worked on. There's people who lose
- 23:55Speaker 8: their ability to have a bank account. Because of what
- 23:59Speaker 8: they're working on. And so this is something I was
- 24:00Speaker 8: just down in Austin about two weeks ago testifying before
- 24:04Speaker 8: a Senate committee on this issue where banks are being
- 24:07Speaker 8: pressured by others. Sometimes it's by the government to debank,
- 24:11Speaker 8: to cease working with people because of their political beliefs
- 24:14Speaker 8: or because of their their stances on things like that,
- 24:18Speaker 8: because there'll be falsely labeled hate groups by banks. By
- 24:22Speaker 8: different organizations. So you can lose your bank account simply
- 24:26Speaker 8: because of your of what you believe or if your
- 24:29Speaker 8: organization is pushing things or working on issues that the
- 24:34Speaker 8: left happens to disagree with. We saw this during the
- 24:36Speaker 8: Biden administration during their Operation Chokepoint where they tried to
- 24:40Speaker 8: pressure banks to cease doing any business with gun manufacturers.
- 24:44Speaker 8: And we've still seen that time and time again.
- 24:46Speaker 6: In fact, the.
- 24:47Speaker 8: NRA won a lawsuit against the state of New York
- 24:50Speaker 8: for pressuring insurance companies to stop working with them.
- 24:53Speaker 6: This was just a few years ago in a case
- 24:55Speaker 6: called Bulo. But they're still doing it.
- 24:57Speaker 8: But the problem with that is the First Amendment applies
- 24:59Speaker 8: to those organizations because the government was doing the pressure.
- 25:03Speaker 6: But what happens when it's the entity itself, these big corporations,
- 25:06Speaker 6: these giant banks?
- 25:08Speaker 8: That get bailed out with billions of dollars that say,
- 25:11Speaker 8: I don't like– like Sam Brownback, who is a senator
- 25:14Speaker 8: from Kansas. He had a religious liberty organization. This was
- 25:18Speaker 8: just a few years ago as well where they cut
- 25:20Speaker 8: off his bank account because of– first of all, they
- 25:24Speaker 8: wouldn't tell him why, so there's no requirement that you
- 25:27Speaker 8: have transparency. But then you go and you determine– They
- 25:32Speaker 8: don't like their viewpoints.
- 25:33Speaker 6: They don't like the issues that they're working on. And
- 25:35Speaker 6: in order to get the.
- 25:36Speaker 8: Bank account back, they wanted– they demanded to know who
- 25:40Speaker 8: his donors were for that organization. And so I've been working,
- 25:44Speaker 8: and Alliance Defending Freedom has been working on passing laws
- 25:47Speaker 8: around the country that would prevent banks from doing this
- 25:51Speaker 8: politicized debanking.
- 25:53Speaker 5: Incredible.
- 25:53Speaker 4: We're already out of time. That was a quick conversation.
- 25:56Speaker 4: Thrilled to have you with us so much. One more time,
- 25:58Speaker 4: tell people how they can get involved.
- 26:00Speaker 5: It's 15 minutes, man.
- 26:01Speaker 2: Where's he going?
- 26:02Speaker 5: We got this all stacked up.
- 26:03Speaker 7: We got 15 minutes interviews.
- 26:04Speaker 2: We're hanging out.
- 26:05Speaker 5: We got Benjamin Schrader coming up next.
- 26:06Speaker 4: But, Jeremy, one more time, tell people how they can
- 26:08Speaker 4: get involved with you with some of the stuff you
- 26:11Speaker 4: have going on.
- 26:12Speaker 8: Yeah, Alliance Defending Freedom, ADFlegal.org is the website.
- 26:16Speaker 6: You can follow us on Instagram and Twitter, Facebook, all
- 26:19Speaker 6: your socials.

- 26:32Speaker 7: Quick break.
- 26:32Speaker 5: A lot more on The Voice of Texas.
- 26:44Speaker 9: Roland, we're getting a lot of calls from people getting

- 26:52Speaker 20: They know you shoot straight with them, whether it's a
- 26:54Speaker 20: question about materials, workmanship.

- 28:02Speaker 5: We live in a two-bedroom high-rise condo.
- 28:05Speaker 19: A three-bedroom family home in the suburbs. A farmhouse on

- 28:12Speaker 22: It doesn't matter where you live or what kind of
- 28:15Speaker 22: home you have. You all have one thing in common.
- 28:18Speaker 22: Gina Hinojosa voted to increase your property taxes. Not once,
- 28:22Speaker 22: not twice, but 40 different times Gina Hinojosa voted to
- 28:27Speaker 22: raise your property taxes.
- 28:29Speaker 5: If she has her.
- 28:30Speaker 7: Way, you'll be priced out of your own home.
- 28:32Speaker 22: Gina Hinojosa is too radical to be governor of Texas. Luckily,
- 28:37Speaker 22: Governor Greg Abbott has a better plan.
- 28:40Speaker 3: We have to stop the insanity and instead give you
- 28:45Speaker 3: a different property tax relief that will do more than
- 28:48Speaker 3: cut your property tax bill in half forever you're going

- 30:12Speaker 2: What are you saying? I'm chomping like a pig?
- 30:15Speaker 5: Look, Wayne Dolcefino.
- 30:17Speaker 2: I can do what I want. Hold on.
- 30:18Speaker 6: You can't.
- 30:18Speaker 4: Wayne Dolcefino dresses better than I do. Wayne Dolcefino enters

- 30:24Speaker 4: here at Texas Faith Fest where we are in Austin
- 30:26Speaker 4: for a remote event one day before their big event starts.
- 30:30Speaker 4: And I think it's txvalues.org is the website you should

- 30:36Speaker 2: It's a nice studio.
- 30:38Speaker 4: It's a nice studio to check everything out and to
- 30:40Speaker 4: find out more information about and maybe still get tickets
- 30:43Speaker 4: for this event tomorrow. Brandon Gill is speaking. But you
- 30:45Speaker 4: enter a room different than me, man. Some of the
- 30:47Speaker 4: people here have been watching you, they said, their whole lives, right?
- 30:51Speaker 2: And they're like, whoa. I'm big.
- 30:53Speaker 5: Yeah, I know.
- 30:53Speaker 4: We joke about that all the time. I'm a nobody
- 30:55Speaker 4: and you're big. I've seen it. I've seen it happen here.
- 30:58Speaker 2: Look, I'm on the plane yesterday and some guy gets
- 31:01Speaker 2: on and as he walks past me, he goes, you
- 31:04Speaker 2: look like this guy in Houston, Wayne Dolcefino. And I said... Yes,
- 31:09Speaker 2: I look remarkably like him.
- 31:10Speaker 5: I look incredibly like him. But you were going to
- 31:12Speaker 5: tell me.
- 31:12Speaker 2: But he was very excited.
- 31:14Speaker 5: You were going to tell me why you're scared for
- 31:15Speaker 5: this country.
- 31:16Speaker 2: All right, so I spent the last couple of days
- 31:17Speaker 2: in California, and I don't like to identify the names
- 31:20Speaker 2: of people that I'm with. But I will tell you
- 31:23Speaker 2: that I basically learned that the new culture, or a
- 31:29Speaker 2: lot of people that are coming here that live here now,
- 31:33Speaker 2: don't like us. No, they don't like us. They don't
- 31:35Speaker 2: like us because we're white. They don't like us because
- 31:37Speaker 2: we're Christian.
- 31:38Speaker 6: Right, right.
- 31:40Speaker 2: I heard every bad thing that they think about. I mean,
- 31:46Speaker 2: it was almost like the truth. Like when the veil
- 31:48Speaker 2: is off, the racists are the rest of them. We aren't, right?
- 31:54Speaker 2: We just want everyone to shut up and go to
- 31:56Speaker 2: work and live your life and be with your family
- 31:59Speaker 2: and just leave us alone, right? But I really do
- 32:04Speaker 2: believe that when they talk among themselves, they don't like us. Oh,
- 32:13Speaker 2: they hate us. I came back a little more freaked
- 32:17Speaker 2: out about the future.
- 32:19Speaker 5: Do you know what's interesting about that?
- 32:21Speaker 4: My wife works with a bunch of people that probably
- 32:24Speaker 4: disagree with me politically.
- 32:25Speaker 5: I found that out. They don't really know what I do.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Can we jail them? It sort of contradicts my theory.
- 32:33Speaker 5: What I find funny about that is they don't really
- 32:34Speaker 5: know what I do. They don't pay attention.
- 32:36Speaker 4: But we've both talked about, my wife and I, because
- 32:38Speaker 4: we hang out with some of these people socially, that
- 32:40Speaker 4: if they ever found out, they would hate me.
- 32:42Speaker 5: And right now they like me. I make them laugh.
- 32:44Speaker 5: We have fun when we go out.
- 32:46Speaker 4: I know where they stand politically, and I just don't
- 32:49Speaker 4: really attack a lot of their positions. I just nod
- 32:51Speaker 4: my head and ignore them and move on, and we
- 32:54Speaker 4: talk about other things. But I find that fascinating that
- 32:57Speaker 4: as a conservative, as a person that believes in a
- 33:01Speaker 4: lot of the things you just said, I'm also totally
- 33:03Speaker 4: fine being around someone that doesn't. being around someone that
- 33:06Speaker 4: thinks the opposite, their side of the aisle has become
- 33:09Speaker 4: so far on their side, they can't tolerate the diversity
- 33:13Speaker 4: of opinion.
- 33:13Speaker 5: And that's scary.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Yeah, they think we're fascist. They think they're supremacist. They
- 33:17Speaker 2: think we're, you know, we have some, I can't even
- 33:21Speaker 2: think of all the terms that I heard that to
- 33:23Speaker 2: me were so frightening that I don't spend that much
- 33:27Speaker 2: time thinking about, like, someone based on, like, what color
- 33:31Speaker 2: they are or, like, their religion. But I also, you know,
- 33:38Speaker 2: I'm kind of squishy sometimes. I come back scared when
- 33:42Speaker 2: I take trips into what I call the dead zone, right?
- 33:46Speaker 2: The places that have, it seems like everybody is just
- 33:49Speaker 2: sort of off their rocker.
- 33:51Speaker 5: The not-Texas places, yeah.
- 33:52Speaker 2: They just, they really, they're mad at me. Like, they're
- 33:56Speaker 2: mad at me in this country for, like, slavery. Well, like,
- 33:59Speaker 2: my family came over, like, in 1921. I mean, we
- 34:01Speaker 2: ate some pasta.
- 34:02Speaker 22: Yeah.
- 34:04Speaker 2: My grandfather worked at a butcher shop. We had nothing
- 34:07Speaker 2: to do with any of this 1860 crap. And they
- 34:12Speaker 2: look at us all the same. It doesn't matter.
- 34:15Speaker 19: Yeah.
- 34:15Speaker 5: No, that is amazing. And you're right. And it's not
- 34:18Speaker 5: even that one issue, too. It's just compounded with everything.
- 34:20Speaker 4: Once you tell them you're a conservative, they fill in
- 34:23Speaker 4: like 20 checkboxes of all the things they now think
- 34:26Speaker 4: you are.
- 34:26Speaker 5: And diversity.
- 34:27Speaker 4: Actually, I had a caller call in yesterday that said
- 34:30Speaker 4: that she's frustrated that Republicans aren't coming together. You know,
- 34:33Speaker 4: like especially in Texas, you'd want more people that might
- 34:36Speaker 4: not like Paxton to vote for him to defeat Tallarico.
- 34:40Speaker 4: But I did say, and I wonder what your opinion
- 34:41Speaker 4: is of this, Wayne, that I like the diversity of
- 34:44Speaker 4: opinion within the Republican Party because it demonstrates a thing
- 34:48Speaker 4: that the Democrats don't have.
- 34:49Speaker 5: I still want us to come together.
- 34:51Speaker 4: I still want everybody to vote to make sure that the.
- 34:52Speaker 5: Insane people don't actually hold positions of power.
- 34:55Speaker 4: But I'm not mad at the idea that there are
- 34:58Speaker 4: issues that I disagree with people on and we're both
- 35:01Speaker 4: going to punch the same side of the ticket.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Yeah, except that it makes it– we can't govern because
- 35:09Speaker 2: of it. The Democrats govern. Say what you want. It
- 35:13Speaker 2: may be bad government. It may be let's open the
- 35:16Speaker 2: border and let everybody and their mama come in, right,
- 35:18Speaker 2: and all the child molesters. But they're together on it,
- 35:23Speaker 2: and we aren't. I mean, we're trying to hold together
- 35:27Speaker 2: a party where– Half the party hates Israel, half the
- 35:31Speaker 2: party loves Israel. It's true.
- 35:33Speaker 9: Right?
- 35:34Speaker 2: We're trying to save a party that has very different
- 35:38Speaker 2: views about, you know, how much money government should spend
- 35:43Speaker 2: and what they should spend it on. And that's the
- 35:47Speaker 2: concern I have. And why I always, and I've been
- 35:52Speaker 2: accused of being a rhino because of this, because I,
- 35:55Speaker 2: you know, whatever. Because I always say that we need
- 35:58Speaker 2: to add, not subtract. And I do worry that we
- 36:04Speaker 2: come off as too harsh. I'm not saying that what
- 36:08Speaker 2: we say isn't right and we don't firmly believe it,
- 36:13Speaker 2: like I do. But we come off sometimes. I think
- 36:18Speaker 2: one of the mistakes of this administration, if the election
- 36:20Speaker 2: does not go well, one of the mistakes is going
- 36:23Speaker 2: to be the way we came in. like with the
- 36:25Speaker 2: ICE stuff, with what's-her-name, Kristi Noem, right? You know, doing these, like,
- 36:29Speaker 2: you know, charging through the battlefield with a military uniform
- 36:32Speaker 2: and let's go whack some illegals. I think if it's
- 36:37Speaker 2: written in this election that it's not a good election,
- 36:40Speaker 2: I think part of it's going to be tone and
- 36:43Speaker 2: the way you present the message.
- 36:45Speaker 4: I'm reading more and more that a lot of people
- 36:47Speaker 4: on the conservative side of the aisle believe it's going
- 36:49Speaker 4: to be a really bad midterm, that they believe there's
- 36:51Speaker 4: going to be a pretty significant blue wave.
- 36:53Speaker 5: I think they've compared it to 2006.
- 36:55Speaker 4: As far as the significance of the amount of Republican
- 36:58Speaker 4: seats that will switch.
- 37:00Speaker 5: I don't believe that yet. I always dismiss the polling
- 37:03Speaker 5: like you do.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I was only with a couple of people this
- 37:05Speaker 2: last couple of days. I was in California, so I
- 37:07Speaker 2: know I'm skewed now, right? I was in the gender
- 37:10Speaker 2: bathroom situation. But I do worry about it, because I...
- 37:15Speaker 2: I just feel we're in trouble in that sense.
- 37:17Speaker 4: Well, and look, let me say something that I think
- 37:19Speaker 4: ties back to the whole we're in Austin for a
- 37:22Speaker 4: faith-based event. I think there's an appropriate way to demonstrate
- 37:26Speaker 4: our willingness to be considerate, to be kind, to be
- 37:30Speaker 4: all the things that as a Catholic I'm told I
- 37:33Speaker 4: am supposed to be, while also making sure that when
- 37:36Speaker 4: I notice something that is definitively important— to tell the
- 37:39Speaker 4: truth about that.
- 37:40Speaker 5: I also tell the truth.
- 37:41Speaker 4: Because there's a lot of times the left interprets mean
- 37:45Speaker 4: they they hear something and they think that this is
- 37:47Speaker 4: this is strong or this is, you know, hateful.
- 37:49Speaker 5: And it's really just telling the truth.
- 37:51Speaker 2: No, I know.
- 37:53Speaker 5: But the name calling.
- 37:54Speaker 4: But I would say that maybe there's a better way
- 37:56Speaker 4: to couch it in some of the things that that
- 37:59Speaker 4: we are as people, because to go back to the
- 38:01Speaker 4: trans issue with kids and stuff. If I were to
- 38:04Speaker 4: hear from a parent that their kid is struggling with
- 38:07Speaker 4: their gender identity or whatever they call it now, which
- 38:09Speaker 4: I would call gender dysphoria, which is a medical condition,
- 38:12Speaker 4: which is you're not exactly happy with your body, but
- 38:14Speaker 4: you through counseling and stuff will get over it. I
- 38:18Speaker 4: would have compassion for that situation. You would have compassion.
- 38:21Speaker 4: Most conservatives would have compassion for the situation. We'd still
- 38:25Speaker 4: want to make sure. that the parents were capable of
- 38:28Speaker 4: protecting their kid. So there's this push and pull of
- 38:31Speaker 4: how you do not do what the left does, which
- 38:34Speaker 4: is accept a false narrative in order to sound like
- 38:37Speaker 4: you're kind. You have to still tell the truth while
- 38:40Speaker 4: finding a way to be nice.
- 38:41Speaker 2: But you can do both, and I think that's one
- 38:43Speaker 2: of the reasons why when Bush ran for president, this
- 38:48Speaker 2: whole compassionate conservatism, and as much as that's become in
- 38:52Speaker 2: some ways in the Republican Party like a dirty word, Yeah. compassion.
- 38:57Speaker 2: I just believe if we don't find a way to
- 39:00Speaker 2: tell people the truth but be sort of less mean-spirited
- 39:06Speaker 2: when we do it, we are going.
- 39:08Speaker 5: To lose more people.
- 39:09Speaker 2: We're going to lose people who, look, I get it.
- 39:13Speaker 2: You have issues, right? Like I said, the country needs
- 39:17Speaker 2: a psychiatrist, right? I hear more things about Well, my
- 39:20Speaker 2: grandfather was a Slovakian gypsy, shrimper. I mean, we all
- 39:27Speaker 2: come from different places. We all have families. stories, right?
- 39:31Speaker 2: We've got to find a way to welcome people into
- 39:34Speaker 2: our family and teach them why our values are so important.
- 39:39Speaker 2: I just worry that all this sort of.
- 39:42Speaker 4: Like, I think– by the way, it's interesting, and I
- 39:46Speaker 4: want to articulate it a different way and see if
- 39:47Speaker 4: you agree with me.
- 39:48Speaker 2: Because I– Because you're saying that my way was not
- 39:50Speaker 2: the right way?
- 39:51Speaker 4: No, your way is great, but I want to shape
- 39:52Speaker 4: it a little bit. I just want to try to
- 39:55Speaker 4: demonstrate a different version of the same thought. That might
- 39:58Speaker 4: be a way to say it. I think that oftentimes
- 40:01Speaker 4: the problem with the right getting upset with its own–
- 40:03Speaker 4: Charlie Kirk would talk about this constantly, where there were
- 40:05Speaker 4: people on the far right who hated him because he
- 40:08Speaker 4: seemed too nice. He seemed too compassionate, which was crazy
- 40:10Speaker 4: that the left said he was hateful because the right
- 40:12Speaker 4: said he was too nice of a guy. But what
- 40:14Speaker 4: I think is interesting about that is sometimes when we
- 40:16Speaker 4: sound similar to how the left sounds, even though we're
- 40:20Speaker 4: not saying it the same way or for the same reasons,
- 40:22Speaker 4: there are people on the right that clam up. Because
- 40:25Speaker 4: they're so annoyed with the left version. Like, for instance,
- 40:28Speaker 4: when media reports a story a certain way, and I
- 40:31Speaker 4: know it's crap, if I then talk about, say, that
- 40:35Speaker 4: ICE shooting that happened in Houston and ask people to
- 40:37Speaker 4: wait for more information, I don't say, day two, I
- 40:41Speaker 4: definitively know what happened.
- 40:42Speaker 5: There are people on the right that think I'm weak,
- 40:44Speaker 5: that are like, well, why isn't he saying immediately?
- 40:46Speaker 4: But if you don't actually know something, and you referenced
- 40:49Speaker 4: Kristi Noem a second ago, her biggest.
- 40:51Speaker 5: Mistake when she was in charge with ICE.
- 40:53Speaker 4: is saying that she knew everything publicly before they did,
- 40:58Speaker 4: before investigations happened.
- 40:59Speaker 5: You're always an investigator, no.
- 41:01Speaker 4: Before we got down the road far enough, that overconfidence
- 41:05Speaker 4: to appease the people that just want strength at all
- 41:07Speaker 4: times does hurt us very often, I think.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Yeah, look, I'm a big believer in strength, right? I mean,
- 41:15Speaker 2: I get the strength thing. I think you can be
- 41:18Speaker 2: strong without making mistakes. too much of a joke about it.
- 41:23Speaker 2: I just think, again, I don't know what's going to happen, right,
- 41:28Speaker 2: in the next few weeks. And I think things are
- 41:30Speaker 2: still could shape out. Like, the Iranians aren't going to
- 41:35Speaker 2: do our deal until after the election. They're playing the
- 41:37Speaker 2: election card. We all get that. I think anybody who's
- 41:40Speaker 2: smart out there, you know, I heard someone on CNN
- 41:45Speaker 2: arguing on Abby Phillips' show about, like, you know, we
- 41:47Speaker 2: don't have a plan to end it. Right? But the
- 41:51Speaker 2: plan is, right after the election, the Iranians are going
- 41:54Speaker 2: to get tired of seeing their economy destroyed and will
- 41:58Speaker 2: cut a deal. Right?
- 41:59Speaker 10: Sure.
- 42:00Speaker 2: If we can cut a deal in the next week
- 42:01Speaker 2: or two, the election could change.
- 42:03Speaker 19: Right?
- 42:04Speaker 2: I mean, diesel is a real problem. I think someone's
- 42:07Speaker 2: got to explain what's going on.
- 42:10Speaker 16: Right?
- 42:10Speaker 2: I think the federal gas tax should be suspended if
- 42:13Speaker 2: we need to.
- 42:14Speaker 5: No, there are pain points. There are.
- 42:15Speaker 2: Yeah. And people are just Worried. I mean, mortgage rates
- 42:19Speaker 2: are going the same way. When I got my house
- 42:22Speaker 2: in Austin, I have a house in Houston at like
- 42:24Speaker 2: three and a half percent. I bought a house in Austin, 6.7%.
- 42:27Speaker 2: Now it's over 7%. You know, the mortgage on my
- 42:29Speaker 2: house here. which is about $ 400, 000 cheaper than my house
- 42:35Speaker 2: in Houston, is the same.
- 42:37Speaker 5: As it was in Houston.
- 42:38Speaker 2: The interest rates are going to kill us.
- 42:40Speaker 4: Yeah, the house we bought years ago in Illinois was 3.5%.
- 42:43Speaker 4: And now if we buy a house and we're currently
- 42:45Speaker 4: in a condo, but if we buy a home, it's 6%,
- 42:47Speaker 4: 7% is the best you can do. No, you're right
- 42:50Speaker 4: about that, Wayne. There are better ways to have a discussion.
- 42:53Speaker 4: with the right, that don't exclude as many people that
- 42:57Speaker 4: still might be in the middle.
- 42:58Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's why I question some of these memes
- 43:00Speaker 2: and some of the jokes and some of the Trump
- 43:02Speaker 2: stuff right now, because it's sort of like, hey, I
- 43:05Speaker 2: get it. I agree with your policies. But if you
- 43:09Speaker 2: don't realize that one of the reasons why people are
- 43:13Speaker 2: looking at alternative things, call it communism. Look, it's not
- 43:17Speaker 2: the 50s anymore. This red scares it out. I think
- 43:21Speaker 2: the reality is we have to confront that a lot
- 43:24Speaker 2: of the people that are moving here are coming from
- 43:26Speaker 2: different cultures where all this stuff is accepted, that they
- 43:30Speaker 2: don't like white people, they don't like Christian folks. We've
- 43:33Speaker 2: got to accept that, and it's too late. Both sides
- 43:36Speaker 2: did it. Republicans did it. Democrats did it. We're still
- 43:39Speaker 2: importing people into this country. And in my view, we
- 43:42Speaker 2: should stop all of it.
- 43:44Speaker 4: That's the music playing. We've got to take another break.
- 43:46Speaker 4: I agree with everything you just said. Get on the
- 43:48Speaker 4: soapbox and run for stuff, Wayne.
- 43:50Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 43:51Speaker 5: Would you run again for political.
- 43:52Speaker 7: Office or no?
- 43:52Speaker 2: No, my closet's too dirty. At the Faith Fest.
- 43:57Speaker 5: They'd send you to investigate you, which would be interesting.
- 43:59Speaker 2: I could do so many good ads against me.
- 44:02Speaker 7: That's hilarious. A quick break.

- 44:49Speaker 2: Than the doctor.
- 44:50Speaker 7: Garage Door Doctor.
- 44:54Speaker 13: Hi, I'm Tommy Mello, CEO of Garage Door Doctor. Here's
- 44:57Speaker 13: a question for you. When was the last time you
- 44:59Speaker 13: thought about your garage door? Most people never do. The
- 45:02Speaker 13: problem is that your garage door may be the hardest
- 45:04Speaker 13: working appliance in your home. It opens and closes thousands
- 45:07Speaker 13: of times every year, lifting hundreds of pounds each and
- 45:10Speaker 13: every time. You change the oil in your car. You
- 45:13Speaker 13: service your air conditioner. Your garage door deserves the same attention.
- 45:17Speaker 13: A simple tune-up catches worn parts before they fail. A
- 45:21Speaker 13: tune-up keeps everything running quietly and can add years of
- 45:24Speaker 13: life to your system. And that's why preventative maintenance is
- 45:27Speaker 13: one of the smartest investments you can make for your
- 45:29Speaker 13: garage door. Garage doors usually warn you before they break.
- 45:33Speaker 13: We're here to help before that happens. Call today for
- 45:36Speaker 13: a $ 29. 95 tune-up special. From repairs to upgrades, call Garage
- 45:40Speaker 13: Door Doctor today.
- 45:41Speaker 2: Garage Door Doctor.

- 46:26Speaker 7: Yes, we are.
- 46:27Speaker 2: And they're the ones putting on this faith fest here
- 46:30Speaker 2: in Austin, and Austin needs a little faith, I think.
- 46:32Speaker 9: Correct.
- 46:32Speaker 2: Just saying it.
- 46:33Speaker 4: And we're getting a lot of guests from this event,
- 46:35Speaker 4: our next guest, who I think I've seen multiple times
- 46:37Speaker 4: on the Amigos.
- 46:38Speaker 5: Bill, have you done a bunch of interviews with the Amigos?
- 46:40Speaker 5: We just lost him. We were seeing him, and then
- 46:42Speaker 5: we lost him.
- 46:42Speaker 2: Oh, it was fun.
- 46:43Speaker 18: Bill, are you there?
- 46:43Speaker 2: I enjoyed Bill. There he is.
- 46:46Speaker 5: Can we hear you, Bill?
- 46:48Speaker 19: Yeah, yeah, I can hear you.
- 46:49Speaker 5: Okay, great.
- 46:49Speaker 4: Yeah, have you done a bunch of interviews with the
- 46:51Speaker 4: Amigos on KSV Radio?
- 46:55Speaker 18: I can't remember.
- 46:58Speaker 2: Obviously, it was a very important moment in his life.
- 47:01Speaker 5: Anyway, Bill is a speaker here at FaithFest.
- 47:04Speaker 4: He is a nationally known, best-selling author, all kinds of things,
- 47:07Speaker 4: president of America Minute, Inc.
- 47:09Speaker 5: Bill, welcome to the show.
- 47:10Speaker 10: Hey, great to be with you.
- 47:12Speaker 4: Tell me a little bit about what you'll be talking
- 47:14Speaker 4: about here at FaithFest this weekend.
- 47:17Speaker 19: Well, one of the things is how you look at cultures,
- 47:22Speaker 19: and like Europe, and they go from Judeo-Christian... to secular, socialist,
- 47:28Speaker 19: sort of.
- 47:28Speaker 10: Pre-sex, with the French Revolution, and then Islamic.
- 47:32Speaker 18: Yes.
- 47:32Speaker 10: Muhammad being the number one name for newborns.
- 47:34Speaker 19: So it's sort of like a drive-thru reverse when you
- 47:36Speaker 19: look at a big zoomed-out view of cultural trends. Judeo-Christian past, secular, socialist,
- 47:44Speaker 19: LGBT present.
- 47:47Speaker 10: And Islamic future.
- 47:49Speaker 19: So the average European family may be having one child.
- 47:52Speaker 10: The average Muslim.
- 47:53Speaker 2: Woman has five.
- 47:54Speaker 19: And so it's just a matter of time until they outpopulate,
- 47:57Speaker 19: and Europe will be like... People.
- 47:59Speaker 10: Forget North Africa was all Christian for six centuries.
- 48:03Speaker 7: There were 250.
- 48:04Speaker 19: Catholic dioceses along North Africa until the Umayyad Muslims conquered them.
- 48:09Speaker 19: Egypt was Christian for six centuries, actually evangelized by Mark,
- 48:13Speaker 19: who wrote the Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John,
- 48:15Speaker 19: until Amir ibn al-As invaded. Syria was the first country
- 48:19Speaker 19: that was completely Christian.
- 48:21Speaker 10: The name Christian came from Syria. Until Khalid Humar conquers it.
- 48:24Speaker 10: And then Turkey. Turkey was the Byzantine Christian Empire.
- 48:27Speaker 19: And then when the Muslims conquered Turkey and they conquered
- 48:31Speaker 19: Constantinople and cut off the land routes to India.
- 48:34Speaker 10: And that's when Columbus said, say, looking for.
- 48:36Speaker 18: A sea route.
- 48:37Speaker 10: So when you sort of zoom out and you look
- 48:39Speaker 10: at history, you can see trends.
- 48:41Speaker 19: And it's sort of naive of us to think that
- 48:44Speaker 19: it won't happen here.
- 48:45Speaker 4: Yeah, I agree with you completely, and I think it's
- 48:47Speaker 4: amazing that the biggest challenge we have on this specific
- 48:51Speaker 4: issue is educating more people to the reality of it.
- 48:54Speaker 4: Because the biggest thing I hear from anyone when you
- 48:56Speaker 4: start to talk about changes happening, Sharia law being something
- 48:59Speaker 4: that could exist in Texas, for example, and the need
- 49:03Speaker 4: to say from a state level, from a political level,
- 49:07Speaker 4: that this is something that's illegal and can't be allowed–
- 49:09Speaker 4: is because of the actual risks involved here that a
- 49:12Speaker 4: lot of people simply aren't informed enough to understand.
- 49:15Speaker 5: Do you feel that way about it?
- 49:17Speaker 10: Yeah, you know, one of the chapters of history.
- 49:19Speaker 19: that I just made a new presentation on, it's the
- 49:22Speaker 19: World War I ends and there's the fall of the
- 49:25Speaker 19: Ottoman Empire. And so in 1924, Ataturk, a secular leader
- 49:29Speaker 19: in Turkey, he dissolves the caliphate that had been around
- 49:32Speaker 19: for 1,292 years. He sends the caliph home, right, fires him,
- 49:37Speaker 19: and he says that The theology of an immoral Arab
- 49:40Speaker 19: may have.
- 49:40Speaker 10: Suited tribes in the desert. It's no good for a
- 49:42Speaker 10: modern progressive state.
- 49:44Speaker 19: And so you have in Turkey, he's outlawing the fezes
- 49:47Speaker 19: and the burqas and the beards and the Arabic language
- 49:50Speaker 19: and telling them to take Turkish names. He's moving the
- 49:53Speaker 19: weekend from Friday to Saturday and Sunday. He's using Latin
- 49:56Speaker 19: script instead of Arabic script. And he begins to influence
- 49:59Speaker 19: the entire Middle East, Ataturk. So he goes to Iran
- 50:03Speaker 19: and the Shah Reza Pahlavi overthrows the Qajar Shiite dynasty.
- 50:07Speaker 19: And he gets rid of the secular courts, excuse me,
- 50:10Speaker 19: the Sharia courts in Iran and lets women get educated
- 50:13Speaker 19: and wear fashions. And it's moving pretty much in a
- 50:16Speaker 19: Western direction until 1928. a schoolteacher in Egypt named Hassan al-Banna.
- 50:22Speaker 19: He's really sad that there's no more caliphate. So he
- 50:25Speaker 19: wants to reestablish the caliphate, but he has no army.
- 50:28Speaker 19: So he decides to do it subversively. And so the
- 50:32Speaker 19: Muslim Brotherhood has a two-phase plan. The first is you
- 50:35Speaker 19: immigrate into Western countries, take advantage of their Western tolerance,
- 50:40Speaker 19: Western welfare.
- 50:41Speaker 10: And then you become more political.
- 50:45Speaker 19: And you get elected, you start voting in Sharia, and
- 50:47Speaker 19: then the third stage you start having random violence.
- 50:49Speaker 10: And the previous inhabitants of the neighborhood no longer feel safe,
- 50:52Speaker 10: and they move out and you take over the neighborhood.
- 50:54Speaker 19: So it's a way to reestablish the caliphate subversively, and
- 50:57Speaker 19: that's the Muslim Brotherhood.
- 50:59Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, it's amazing.
- 51:00Speaker 4: There was a viral video recently of a leader of,
- 51:04Speaker 4: I think, some of this Islamic stuff that's happening in Texas,
- 51:07Speaker 4: and he said exactly what you just said out loud. Now, granted,
- 51:10Speaker 4: they do it in a podcast in a space where
- 51:12Speaker 4: they think everyone listening is friendly, and they don't think
- 51:14Speaker 4: someone like me will play it on conservative radio, But
- 51:17Speaker 4: it said that you start off slowly and you use
- 51:20Speaker 4: the kindness of the society you're in to continue to
- 51:24Speaker 4: manipulate it further and further to become something that you
- 51:27Speaker 4: don't want it to be. And then, yeah, inevitably you
- 51:29Speaker 4: eventually want Sharia law. And the most interesting thing he
- 51:32Speaker 4: said about that is that to them, being nice to
- 51:35Speaker 4: your mother is Sharia law. Like all of it is
- 51:37Speaker 4: under the same blanket umbrella of something. So they believe
- 51:40Speaker 4: they can just. slowly get more and more people to
- 51:44Speaker 4: just let them be and then eventually change our society.
- 51:48Speaker 4: It's amazing to hear people within that group admit the
- 51:51Speaker 4: thing you just said, I guess what I'm saying, Bill.
- 51:54Speaker 19: Yeah, so the first way Islam spread was the fast
- 51:58Speaker 19: way through the sword.
- 52:00Speaker 8: Yes.
- 52:00Speaker 19: And then it spreads through immigration, which is called Dawah, D-A-W-A-H, Dawah.
- 52:07Speaker 10: It's literally immigration jihad, immigration jihad.
- 52:10Speaker 19: Through the womb.
- 52:12Speaker 5: And then they're outpopulating.
- 52:14Speaker 19: And so it's interesting that we're barely getting 30% of
- 52:16Speaker 19: Christians to vote.
- 52:18Speaker 10: Muslims move into an area and.
- 52:20Speaker 19: Nearly 100% of them vote because they basically do what
- 52:24Speaker 19: their imam tells them. There's no concept of a personal
- 52:27Speaker 19: relationship with Allah in Islam.
- 52:30Speaker 10: Your salvation is through the group, the umma, the community, and.
- 52:33Speaker 19: The imam's the head of the group, and he says
- 52:35Speaker 19: what's permissible and what's not. And when he says vote,
- 52:38Speaker 19: you vote. And when he says to vote for this candidate,
- 52:40Speaker 19: you vote. So there's no individuality there. And so it's really,
- 52:46Speaker 19: there's one video that the imam said, it's easy to
- 52:48Speaker 19: take over America.
- 52:49Speaker 7: They don't vote.
- 52:50Speaker 2: Just move in and we vote 100%.
- 52:52Speaker 6: And they're flipping races.
- 52:53Speaker 10: And we're still trying to figure out, should we vote
- 52:55Speaker 10: or not?
- 52:57Speaker 2: I say it all the time. People got to start
- 53:00Speaker 2: waking up, man, all these fat and happy Republicans that
- 53:05Speaker 2: they don't vote. And look, I talk about London a lot.
- 53:10Speaker 2: If you go to London, you think you're in the
- 53:12Speaker 2: Middle East. You don't think you're in London anymore. You
- 53:15Speaker 2: go outside London into the countryside, and it's a completely
- 53:19Speaker 2: different culture. And I think we're... I don't think we
- 53:23Speaker 2: talk about it enough because it sounds like we're just being,
- 53:26Speaker 2: you know, like scared Christians. To me, we don't talk
- 53:31Speaker 2: enough about the reality of And I know we have
- 53:35Speaker 2: freedom of religion. You want to build a mosque, have
- 53:38Speaker 2: a good time. But it ain't going to be the
- 53:40Speaker 2: way we run the place.
- 53:41Speaker 19: Right.
- 53:42Speaker 4: Well, and I think that's the biggest part is the
- 53:45Speaker 4: immediate focus on politics that winds up allowing people within
- 53:49Speaker 4: this group to influence our society even more so. Bill,
- 53:52Speaker 4: we're already out of time. They're playing the music and
- 53:54Speaker 4: playing us off. Tell us where people can find you
- 53:56Speaker 4: in the last 30 seconds we have.
- 53:58Speaker 19: Yeah, AmericanMinute.com, AmericanMinute.com.
- 54:01Speaker 10: I did a book called What Every American Needs to
- 54:03Speaker 10: Know About the Quran. Interesting, Muhammad was a religious.
- 54:06Speaker 19: Leader, then he became a political leader, then he became
- 54:08Speaker 19: a military leader. So Islam is a religious system, a
- 54:10Speaker 19: political system, and a military system.
- 54:12Speaker 10: They don't separate religion from military, so it's all the same.
- 54:17Speaker 10: So if you have a mosque, it's also a military building.
- 54:19Speaker 5: Check that book out. Check Bill out here at Texas
- 54:22Speaker 5: Faith Fest. He'll be here tomorrow. Thanks so much, man,
- 54:23Speaker 5: for making some time for us.
- 54:25Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 54:26Speaker 4: All right, we've got to take another break. KSV Mornings,
- 54:28Speaker 4: the Mob Guys on The Voice of Texas.
