0:00
Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
0:04
Speaker 1: So we are on the eve of Ghislaine Maxwell being
0:07
Speaker 1: sentenced and I have to tell you, I really, really
0:11
Speaker 1: hope this lady gets the whole ass book thrown at her.
0:14
Speaker 1: I think I've been pretty clear over the past three
0:16
Speaker 1: years about where I stand when it comes to Maxwell
0:20
Speaker 1: and her role within this criminal operation and I could
0:24
Speaker 1: not disagree more with With the people who act like
0:28
Speaker 1: Maxwell is being used as some kind of fall woman here.
0:32
Speaker 1: That is not the case. She is being made to
0:35
Speaker 1: own her piece of this. That's all. Pretty simple. Now
0:39
Speaker 1: I know that there's people out there with their political
0:42
Speaker 1: wants and their tribalistic needs. And they have this desire
0:48
Speaker 1: to manipulate what happened to these ladies and these girls...
0:53
Speaker 1: into some sort of cudgel to use against their political opponents. Well,
0:57
Speaker 1: that shit doesn't fly here on this podcast. And I'll
1:00
Speaker 1: leave that to all of the Twitter knuckleheads to continue
1:04
Speaker 1: on with the BS. But the reality of the situation, folks,
1:09
Speaker 1: if you're living in reality, is Maxwell is simply being
1:12
Speaker 1: punished for her role within this organization. And not just
1:16
Speaker 1: her role, but her leadership role. She wasn't just somebody
1:21
Speaker 1: that was along for the ride, somebody that was, you know,
1:25
Speaker 1: tacking on the benefits and living her life. And no,
1:28
Speaker 1: she was engaging in this abuse, according to numerous girls.
1:33
Speaker 1: So are we just supposed to act like that didn't happen?
1:36
Speaker 1: Act like, you know, Maxwell is just being used as
1:40
Speaker 1: the fall woman here? Because that's what it seems like
1:42
Speaker 1: some people are trying to assert. And that could not be,
1:46
Speaker 1: you know, further from the truth. Ghislaine Maxwell has to
1:50
Speaker 1: own her piece in this. Just like we talk about
1:52
Speaker 1: El Chapo, his captains, or John Gotti's captains, or insert
1:57
Speaker 1: criminal enterprise here. Everybody has to own their part, folks.
2:01
Speaker 1: And Ghislaine Maxwell is about to own hers tomorrow. Today's
2:07
Speaker 1: article is from the AP News, and the headline is,
2:11
Speaker 1: Seven Accusers, we'll help Larry Neumeister out here, Seven Survivors
2:16
Speaker 1: Write to Ghislaine Maxwell's Sentencing Judge. Obviously this article was
2:21
Speaker 1: authored by Larry Neumeister. Seven women who say Ghislaine Maxwell
2:26
Speaker 1: helped Jeffrey Epstein steal the innocence of their youth and
2:30
Speaker 1: poison the promise of their future are asking a judge
2:33
Speaker 1: to consider their pain as she decides what prison sentence
2:37
Speaker 1: she will dispense Tuesday to the incarcerated British woman. Look,
2:42
Speaker 1: I really, really hope that Judge Nathan takes to heart
2:47
Speaker 1: what the survivors have to say here. Because let's be clear,
2:50
Speaker 1: they're the ones that were most affected by this. Now,
2:54
Speaker 1: those of us watching from the sidelines or those of
2:57
Speaker 1: us in society that are disgusted by it, we have
3:00
Speaker 1: every right to be disgusted, there's no doubt. But nobody
3:04
Speaker 1: deserves justice more than these survivors. Their statements were put
3:10
Speaker 1: in the public case file late Friday by Manhattan prosecutors
3:14
Speaker 1: who have asked U.S. District Judge Allison J. Nathan to
3:17
Speaker 1: sentence Maxwell to 30 to 55 years in prison for
3:21
Speaker 1: monstrous crimes resulting in a December sex trafficking conviction for
3:26
Speaker 1: a socialite, bipedal serpent, fellow child abuser, general all-around scuzzbag
3:31
Speaker 1: who has been jailed since her July 2020 arrest. And
3:36
Speaker 1: poor Ghislaine, she's been in jail forever. since July 2020.
3:41
Speaker 1: How dare anybody put her in jail? There's no evidence.
3:44
Speaker 1: She's such a good person. She has a submersible license
3:48
Speaker 1: and a helicopter's license and nobody cares. Enjoy jail. Enjoy prison.
3:54
Speaker 1: You're never leaving either of them. Four women testified at
3:59
Speaker 1: Maxwell's month-long trial, where they described sexual attacks on teenage
4:04
Speaker 1: girls from 1994 to 2004 by Epstein and Maxwell at
4:10
Speaker 1: Epstein's mansions and estates in Manhattan, New Mexico, Florida, and
4:14
Speaker 1: the Virgin Islands. And while we're here, on the doorstep,
4:18
Speaker 1: I might as well kick the door in real quick, right?
4:20
Speaker 1: How come Zorro Ranch has still never been raided? does
4:25
Speaker 1: that not rankle anybody else out there? I mean, you
4:28
Speaker 1: got this whole ass ranch out here with who knows
4:31
Speaker 1: what kind of secrets it's hiding and not one single
4:35
Speaker 1: member of law enforcement or the FBI or anyone kicked
4:39
Speaker 1: in the door? Investigation, take a look, let's collect some evidence,
4:44
Speaker 1: what sort of videos are here? Nothing? Nada? Zilch? Squangeal?
4:52
Speaker 1: In a statement, Annie Farmer, who testified at trial and
4:55
Speaker 1: spoke at Epstein's bail hearing before he killed himself, allegedly,
4:59
Speaker 1: in August of 2019, as he awaited a sex trafficking trial,
5:04
Speaker 1: said Maxwell's lack of remorse and her repeated lies about
5:07
Speaker 1: survivors forced a long fight for justice that has felt
5:11
Speaker 1: like a black hole, sucking in our precious time, energy,
5:16
Speaker 1: and well-being. And I can tell you for sure that
5:19
Speaker 1: people like Annie Farmer and Maria Farmer and Virginia and
5:24
Speaker 1: the rest of the survivors, they have better things to
5:26
Speaker 1: do than keep, you know, dragging this up time and
5:29
Speaker 1: time again and having to relive this trauma. This should
5:33
Speaker 1: have all been shelved a very long time ago. But
5:36
Speaker 1: these ladies have to continuously relive this bullshit. So finally... Hopefully,
5:42
Speaker 1: they can really slam a nail in the coffin here,
5:45
Speaker 1: and at the very least, the three major players of
5:48
Speaker 1: Epstein's operation are off the table. Maxwell, Epstein, and Jean-Luc Brunel.
5:54
Speaker 1: While it's not a complete and total victory, it's certainly
5:57
Speaker 1: pushing the line, isn't it? When we first started talking
6:01
Speaker 1: about this, I remember how many people would send me emails,
6:04
Speaker 1: and how many people would post on places like Twitter
6:07
Speaker 1: that there'd never be any justice whatsoever here. Well, let
6:11
Speaker 1: me tell you what. Jean-Luc Brunel being dead, that's kind
6:14
Speaker 1: of a victory if you ask me, of course. I
6:16
Speaker 1: wish his survivors would have had the chance to stare
6:20
Speaker 1: at him from across the courtroom and then see him
6:23
Speaker 1: get convicted. Of course, that's what we all want, right?
6:25
Speaker 1: But the fact is, this motherfucker is dead and he
6:28
Speaker 1: ain't hurting nobody else ever again. And the same goes
6:30
Speaker 1: for Jeffrey Epstein. Now, Maxwell, oh, she's the scapegoat. Well, no,
6:35
Speaker 1: she's the one standing when, you know, there's no chairs left.
6:39
Speaker 1: That's all that is. And she's the one who is
6:43
Speaker 1: the last boss standing, right? So she's the one that's
6:46
Speaker 1: getting the jail sentence. But when people sit around and
6:49
Speaker 1: talk like there has been no justice here whatsoever, or
6:53
Speaker 1: none of the players, at the very least the ones
6:55
Speaker 1: who set it up logistically, have been punished, that's just false. Now,
7:00
Speaker 1: is it the sort of scorched earth victory that's needed here?
7:03
Speaker 1: Hell no. There needs to be Rico. And we know
7:06
Speaker 1: that that's not going to happen because it would involve
7:08
Speaker 1: all of their buddies. And we can't have that, right?
7:12
Speaker 1: All of the peripheral players on the stage being named,
7:16
Speaker 1: we just can't have that in the media, can we?
7:18
Speaker 1: So there was no Rico. But at the same time,
7:20
Speaker 1: I'm not going to sit here and act like we
7:23
Speaker 1: haven't seen anybody be brought to justice. Epstein, Maxwell, Brunel,
7:28
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew ain't doing shit ever again. Glenn Dubin's screwed. Now, again, look,
7:33
Speaker 1: don't get it twisted. Those are not complete victories, but
7:38
Speaker 1: certainly steps in the right direction compared to where we
7:41
Speaker 1: were three years ago. Defense lawyer Bobby Sternum included the
7:46
Speaker 1: victim's statements in a submission to the judge Friday after
7:50
Speaker 1: the defense asked for a sentence of no more than
7:53
Speaker 1: five years. But she heavily redacted portions in asking the
7:56
Speaker 1: judge to disregard some entirely because they were not directly
8:01
Speaker 1: a part of the case that resulted in Maxwell's conviction.
8:04
Speaker 1: So if you weren't part of the case, it doesn't
8:07
Speaker 1: matter if you were abused, according to Bobby Sternum, you
8:10
Speaker 1: shouldn't have any say-so, because you weren't part of this case.
8:13
Speaker 1: Absolutely ludicrous. What it does is it establishes a pattern
8:18
Speaker 1: of Maxwell's behavior, so the judge can see that it's
8:21
Speaker 1: actually more than just what was put in front of her.
8:25
Speaker 1: And we all know that there were many, many more girls. Prosecutors, though,
8:30
Speaker 1: said no redactions were required or necessary because any privacy
8:34
Speaker 1: interests belonged to survivors and none asked for their statements
8:38
Speaker 1: to be sealed. They added that no due process interest
8:41
Speaker 1: is protected by withholding victim impact statements from the public.
8:46
Speaker 1: Three victims may speak at sentencing. So not only do
8:49
Speaker 1: they have the letters that are going to be presented,
8:52
Speaker 1: but there's also supposed to be some of the survivors
8:55
Speaker 1: there to speak at the actual hearing. And I don't
9:00
Speaker 1: know how Maxwell's team thinks they're going to get off
9:03
Speaker 1: with five years here. It's just crazy to me. Absolutely
9:07
Speaker 1: crazy talk. Included were nine graphic pictures of Sarah Ransom
9:14
Speaker 1: taken in a hospital bed after two suicide attempts she
9:17
Speaker 1: blames on the trauma of over a half year spent
9:20
Speaker 1: as a sex toy for Epstein and Maxwell and others
9:23
Speaker 1: that left her so distressed. that she once considered jumping
9:27
Speaker 1: from a cliff into shark-infested waters off Epstein's sprawling Virgin
9:32
Speaker 1: Islands estate. Now imagine how mentally rocked you have to
9:37
Speaker 1: be to think about jumping into the water with the sharks.
9:40
Speaker 1: I mean, what a terrifying proposal. Either stay there with
9:46
Speaker 1: the land-based sharks, or hop into the water and take
9:49
Speaker 1: your chances with the actual sharks. Ransom, who wrote a book,
9:54
Speaker 1: Silence No More, and traveled from her England home to
9:58
Speaker 1: observe Maxwell's trial, said, she was stopped from taking the
10:01
Speaker 1: plunge by Maxwell and company moments before jumping, but that,
10:05
Speaker 1: at the time, that extremely risky escape seemed more appealing
10:09
Speaker 1: than being raped one more time. Now, I can't even
10:12
Speaker 1: imagine what that feels like. I've never been in a
10:15
Speaker 1: position where somebody has lorded or held their power over me,
10:20
Speaker 1: Or forced me to do something against my will. Via threat.
10:24
Speaker 1: Or you know. Talking about hurting my family. Or anything
10:28
Speaker 1: like that. I've never even come close to being in
10:31
Speaker 1: a position like that. Never mind being on an island.
10:36
Speaker 1: And this was the M.O. For Epstein and Maxwell. This
10:39
Speaker 1: is the kind of shit that they did. They would
10:41
Speaker 1: intimidate these girls. Threaten them. Tell them that they hurt
10:45
Speaker 1: their families. All kinds of wild shit. One woman, Kate,
10:50
Speaker 1: a former British model who testified at trial, spoke of
10:53
Speaker 1: the silent screams inside the minds of girls who are
10:56
Speaker 1: not yet adults when Maxwell and Epstein flashed wealth and
11:00
Speaker 1: ties to famous and powerful people before subjecting them to
11:03
Speaker 1: sex abuse and then fear so they would never disobey
11:07
Speaker 1: their requests. I mean, wow. I know we've talked about
11:12
Speaker 1: this for years now, but every time we read it
11:16
Speaker 1: or hear it from the mouths of the survivors, it
11:19
Speaker 1: just slams home the fact of how devious and draconian
11:23
Speaker 1: this whole entire operation was and how it was operating
11:27
Speaker 1: out in the open in the middle of New York
11:31
Speaker 1: is such a black eye to the SDNY that there's
11:35
Speaker 1: not even enough words to talk about it. This is
11:39
Speaker 1: supposed to be the premier investigators, right? We're gonna get everybody,
11:44
Speaker 1: oh yeah! Meanwhile, Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and the rest
11:48
Speaker 1: of these sick bastards were engaging in their behavior not
11:52
Speaker 1: too far away from where you dudes are based. Calling
11:58
Speaker 1: Maxwell dangerous and devious, Maria Farmer said her intersection with
12:02
Speaker 1: the pair and sexual assault by Epstein during a trip
12:05
Speaker 1: to Ohio cost her a promising career as an artist
12:08
Speaker 1: and leaves her still feeling unsafe outside, firm in the
12:12
Speaker 1: belief that Maxwell will harm her if she ever has
12:15
Speaker 1: her way. She is the sister of Annie Farmer. And
12:18
Speaker 1: I can tell you for sure that the whole entire
12:21
Speaker 1: situation that Maria went through had left her shook, man.
12:26
Speaker 1: Nobody should have to live like that. I've had candid
12:29
Speaker 1: conversations with Maria about, you know, just the whole aftermath
12:33
Speaker 1: of this. And I can't tell you how disgusting the
12:38
Speaker 1: operation was and the intimidation and the way that Epstein
12:42
Speaker 1: and Maxwell were just so cavalier about what they were
12:48
Speaker 1: doing and how brazen it was. Another, Virginia Roberts, said
12:54
Speaker 1: Maxwell opened the door to hell, as she joked that
12:58
Speaker 1: she was like a new mother to dozens of girls
13:00
Speaker 1: and young women she fed to her financier, pedophile, boyfriend,
13:05
Speaker 1: and later boss. Ghislaine, like a wolf in sheep's clothing,
13:09
Speaker 1: you betrayed us and you led us all through it.
13:12
Speaker 1: She added, you could have put an end to the rapes,
13:14
Speaker 1: the molestations, the sickening manipulations that you arranged, witnessed, and
13:19
Speaker 1: even took part in. You could have called the authorities
13:22
Speaker 1: and reported that you were part of something awful. Ghislaine,
13:24
Speaker 1: you deserve to spend the rest of your life in
13:26
Speaker 1: a jail cell. You deserve to be trapped in a
13:29
Speaker 1: cage forever, just like you trapped your victims. Wow, wow, wow.
13:35
Speaker 1: I mean, pretty powerful stuff. And if you're the judge
13:39
Speaker 1: and you're hearing these accounts from these girls and what
13:42
Speaker 1: they have to say, I don't know how you can't
13:44
Speaker 1: be moved, how you're not swayed. And then you look
13:47
Speaker 1: over and you see the vapid, disgusting person that Ghislaine
13:51
Speaker 1: Maxwell is. And well, to me anyway, it certainly seems
13:55
Speaker 1: like Virginia's onto something here. And that is Ghislaine Maxwell
14:01
Speaker 1: locked in a cage for the rest of her life.
14:04
Speaker 1: If you'd like to contact me, you can do that
14:06
Speaker 1: at bobbycapucci at protonmail.com. That's B-O-B-B-Y-C-A-P-U-C-C-I at protonmail.com. You can
14:15
Speaker 1: also find me on Twitter at B-O-B-B-Y underscore C-A-P-U-C-C-I. The
14:22
Speaker 1: link that we discussed can be found in the description box.
14:26
Speaker 1: All right, folks, I'll be back with a little bit
14:27
Speaker 1: more later on. Hope you're all having a great day.
14:31
Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
14:35
Speaker 1: So Ghislaine Maxwell and her legal team is trying to
14:39
Speaker 1: keep Sarah Ransom from testifying against her at her sentencing
14:43
Speaker 1: next week. And if you're Team Maxwell you understand why
14:47
Speaker 1: you want to keep her from testifying considering what Sarah
14:50
Speaker 1: has to say. So the wrangling has begun, the back
14:54
Speaker 1: and forth has begun, And Team Maxwell, they understand that
14:58
Speaker 1: these victim impact statements are going to be brutal. And
15:01
Speaker 1: they're not going to look good for the bipedal serpent.
15:04
Speaker 1: So they're doing everything that they can to once again
15:07
Speaker 1: silence the voices that Maxwell seemed to have tried to
15:11
Speaker 1: silence years ago. Let's hope that it doesn't work out
15:15
Speaker 1: for them. Our article is from the Daily Mail. And
15:19
Speaker 1: the headline. Ghislaine Maxwell is trying to stop British Jeffrey
15:23
Speaker 1: Epstein survivor Sarah Ransom from testifying against her at next
15:27
Speaker 1: week's sentencing from her sex trafficking conviction. This article was
15:32
Speaker 1: authored by Walter Finch. Ghislaine Maxwell is trying to prevent
15:39
Speaker 1: Sarah Ransom, a British survivor of pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein,
15:45
Speaker 1: from testifying against her at the heiress' sentencing next week.
15:49
Speaker 1: Lawyers for Maxwell 60 are trying to stop Ms. Ransom
15:52
Speaker 1: from giving a victim impact statement to a Manhattan court
15:56
Speaker 1: on Tuesday when a judge will determine the length of
15:59
Speaker 1: Maxwell's jail sentence for sex trafficking with the prosecution pushing
16:03
Speaker 1: for 20 years. That's not even enough. She's looking at 50.
16:07
Speaker 1: Why are they only pushing for 20? Ask yourself that
16:12
Speaker 1: question and then take a look at the SDNY and
16:16
Speaker 1: the shit show that it is. You know, one thing
16:18
Speaker 1: that cracks me up about the SDNY is you have
16:21
Speaker 1: all of these ex-SDNY officials on Twitter always popping off
16:26
Speaker 1: about something ridiculous. Always grandstanding. Always, you know, being part
16:31
Speaker 1: of whatever the next thing is. Meanwhile, Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell,
16:35
Speaker 1: Peter Nygaard, and the rest of them were abusing girls
16:39
Speaker 1: hand over fist right under their noses for years. And
16:42
Speaker 1: the SDNY did shit. They did squat. They did shinola.
16:47
Speaker 1: So please save the grandstanding when you're on Twitter for
16:50
Speaker 1: other people. It makes me ill every time they talk about, oh,
16:54
Speaker 1: this one should be arrested or that one should be arrested. Bitch,
16:57
Speaker 1: why didn't you arrest Jeffrey Epstein? Why didn't you arrest
17:00
Speaker 1: any of his friends? Oh, that's right, because you were
17:02
Speaker 1: in the pocket, right? You were getting paid or your
17:05
Speaker 1: office was getting paid or someone was getting their palm greased.
17:12
Speaker 1: Maxwell's legal team wrote a filing to the court saying
17:14
Speaker 1: that the alleged sexual abuse suffered by Ms. Ransom falls
17:18
Speaker 1: outside of the time period for offenses covered by the trial.
17:22
Speaker 1: And that's what they'll always say, right? It's always loopholes
17:24
Speaker 1: and technicalities with these people. And I say to hell
17:28
Speaker 1: with that. Vafangul, as we would say in the South Bronx.
17:32
Speaker 1: All right? It's a bunch of bull. Any one of
17:35
Speaker 1: these alleged survivors, any one of these survivors of Epstein
17:40
Speaker 1: and Maxwell should be able to get up there and
17:42
Speaker 1: give an impact statement about how her bullshit affected their lives. Maxwell,
17:53
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's accomplice, co-conspirator, fellow child abuser, general all-around scuzzbag
17:58
Speaker 1: and bipedal serpent, was convicted on five out of the
18:01
Speaker 1: six charges in December, including sex trafficking of a minor,
18:05
Speaker 1: the youngest victim, a 14-year-old girl, transporting a minor with
18:08
Speaker 1: the intent to engage in criminal sexual activity, and three
18:12
Speaker 1: related counts of conspiracy, and faces a maximum of 65
18:16
Speaker 1: years in jail. So how is she only gonna get 20?
18:19
Speaker 1: I mean, are you fucking kidding me? 20? What a travesty.
18:26
Speaker 1: Full 55, full 60, whatever it is, that's what she
18:29
Speaker 1: should be getting. But that's right. They only throw the
18:33
Speaker 1: book at poor people, right? If you ain't got no
18:35
Speaker 1: dough and you're not friends with the J.P. Morgan scumbags,
18:39
Speaker 1: then to hell with you. You're going to go to
18:40
Speaker 1: prison forever. Ms. Ransom told the Telegraph during Maxwell's trial,
18:46
Speaker 1: she looked at me and she walked over and she said,
18:49
Speaker 1: Jeffrey wants you. And I completely froze. She grabbed my
18:53
Speaker 1: arm and marched me into Jeffrey's room, where I was
18:55
Speaker 1: then raped. When I walked out of the room, she
18:58
Speaker 1: smiled with these black eyes like a great white shark.
19:01
Speaker 1: She enjoyed knowing what had happened to me. Look, I
19:03
Speaker 1: don't doubt that for a minute. I don't doubt that
19:06
Speaker 1: for one single minute. And if Sarah Ransom wants to
19:09
Speaker 1: be heard, Judge Nathan should allow it. I already have
19:13
Speaker 1: my concerns with all this BS about 20 years. Now
19:17
Speaker 1: you're not going to let the victims speak, the survivors speak?
19:21
Speaker 1: And just exactly what is the SDNY doing with co-conspirators?
19:25
Speaker 1: You guys done? Is this the end of it? Because
19:27
Speaker 1: if it is, well, the grand finale wasn't very good.
19:36
Speaker 1: The disgraced socialite, human trafficker, scumbag, child abuser, anything besides
19:41
Speaker 1: disgraced socialite, has been held in solitary confinement in Brooklyn
19:46
Speaker 1: Metropolitan Detention Center since July 2020, where guard told her
19:50
Speaker 1: there was concern she would be shot by a sniper. No,
19:53
Speaker 1: that's not correct, sir. She is not in solitary confinement anymore.
19:57
Speaker 1: She is in a dormitory setting now on the main
20:00
Speaker 1: line with other convicts. Ms. Ransom is hoping to appear
20:04
Speaker 1: alongside another Epstein survivor, Elizabeth Stein, to address U.S. District
20:10
Speaker 1: Judge Allison Nathan as she hands down the sentence for
20:13
Speaker 1: Maxwell's five counts of sex trafficking women and young girls
20:17
Speaker 1: for Epstein between 1994 and 2004. The conduct underlying the
20:23
Speaker 1: offenses charged against Ms. Maxwell ended in or about 2004.
20:28
Speaker 1: Maxwell's legal team wrote to the court on Tuesday. So again, look,
20:32
Speaker 1: whenever you're dealing with people like Maxwell or Epstein or
20:35
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew or Donald Trump or any of them, what
20:38
Speaker 1: you're going to see is their lawyers play with loopholes
20:42
Speaker 1: and technicalities. That's how rich people get off. They don't
20:44
Speaker 1: get off because they're innocent. They get off because their
20:47
Speaker 1: lawyers are better than yours. Point blank, period. To our understanding, Ms.
20:53
Speaker 1: Ransom alleges that she was a victim of Epstein and Ms.
20:56
Speaker 1: Maxwell from approximately October 2006 to April of 2007, a
21:02
Speaker 1: full two years after the conduct in this case ended.
21:05
Speaker 1: She therefore does not qualify as a crime victim under
21:08
Speaker 1: the CVRA, the Crime Victims Rights Act, which is a
21:13
Speaker 1: failure anyway, honestly. How is it that the girls weren't
21:17
Speaker 1: even told that a plea deal was about to happen?
21:21
Speaker 1: And then when they go back into court and they
21:23
Speaker 1: try and rectify it, the court continues to shit on
21:26
Speaker 1: their rights. So what's the whole point of even putting
21:28
Speaker 1: the CVRA into play? It is appealing to this technicality
21:35
Speaker 1: that Maxwell's lawyer hopes to exclude Ms. Ransom's testimony. Ms.
21:39
Speaker 1: Stein's alleged abuse occurred in 1994, and so her testimony
21:43
Speaker 1: is exempt from this defense. Look, Ms. Maxwell, if you
21:48
Speaker 1: want to call her that, is going to use every
21:51
Speaker 1: technicality and loophole in the book. We've been talking about
21:54
Speaker 1: this for years now on this podcast. It is the
21:57
Speaker 1: strategy that is employed by the rich. And when you
21:59
Speaker 1: pay for a lawyer, remember, you're not paying for what's
22:02
Speaker 1: going to happen in that courtroom. The whole idea is
22:04
Speaker 1: you never get to that courtroom, right? You're paying for
22:07
Speaker 1: the relationships that that lawyer has behind the scenes. Went
22:11
Speaker 1: to school with this judge, was a clerk with that judge.
22:15
Speaker 1: You know how it goes. The good old boys network. What,
22:17
Speaker 1: you don't think that's happening in the world of the
22:20
Speaker 1: Justice Department? While it is appropriate for victims to be
22:26
Speaker 1: present pursuant to the CVRA, Ms. Maxwell's sentencing proceedings should
22:30
Speaker 1: not be an open forum... for any alleged victim to
22:33
Speaker 1: be heard, the attorneys wrote. I think that anybody who
22:36
Speaker 1: was given a payout from the estate, at the very least,
22:40
Speaker 1: should have the ability to give a statement if they please.
22:44
Speaker 1: Because remember, Ms. Maxwell was an accomplice. And if you're
22:47
Speaker 1: in for a penny, you're in for a pound. There's no,
22:50
Speaker 1: I'm only part of the conspiracy. Once you're part of it,
22:54
Speaker 1: you're part of it. Even if you played a small role. See,
22:58
Speaker 1: I'm not letting them off the hook with this shit.
23:00
Speaker 1: Because if this was people who had Italian names, names
23:04
Speaker 1: with vowels at the end, well, it would be a
23:05
Speaker 1: whole different ballgame. I promise you that. I promise you
23:09
Speaker 1: that they would be treating this as the biggest criminal
23:12
Speaker 1: enterprise in history. But since it's Ghislaine Maxwell, you know,
23:17
Speaker 1: no big deal. Miss Ransom, 37, who was born in
23:22
Speaker 1: Johannesburg to British parents, alleges she was sexually abused by
23:26
Speaker 1: Epstein on his private Virgin Island in 2006 and that
23:31
Speaker 1: Maxwell was entirely complicit. Her allegations include not just being
23:37
Speaker 1: aware of the abuse, but that Maxwell actively brought her
23:40
Speaker 1: to Epstein to be raped. How many times have we
23:43
Speaker 1: heard that story? Every single girl that we've talked to
23:45
Speaker 1: or woman I should say that we have heard from
23:47
Speaker 1: has said the same thing. that Maxwell played a huge
23:51
Speaker 1: integral part in the operation. And not only that, but
23:54
Speaker 1: she took part in some cases. Maxwell is scheduled to
23:59
Speaker 1: be sentenced next Tuesday, June 28th, with the probation department
24:06
Speaker 1: recommending a 20-year sentence below the sentencing guidelines of up
24:10
Speaker 1: to 65 years for the crimes the British heiress was
24:13
Speaker 1: convicted of. I mean, really? The New York... probation department
24:18
Speaker 1: is terrible what's going on over here you're just going
24:22
Speaker 1: to recommend a 20 year sentence it's about 40 years
24:26
Speaker 1: lower than the max she really deserves 40 years lower
24:30
Speaker 1: than the max sentence and this is not good enough
24:32
Speaker 1: for her team they need more oh she only needs
24:35
Speaker 1: to do five years what an absolute joke Maxwell has
24:43
Speaker 1: requested a more lenient sentence of just four years and
24:46
Speaker 1: three months in jail, arguing that she is being scapegoated
24:49
Speaker 1: as a proxy for Epstein's crimes and that her philanthropic
24:53
Speaker 1: work demonstrated she has a desire to do good in
24:56
Speaker 1: the world. Her legal filings claim that helping launch the
24:59
Speaker 1: Clinton Global Initiative demonstrated, she has a desire to do
25:04
Speaker 1: good in the world. I mean, stop wrapping yourself in
25:07
Speaker 1: your charities, okay? Here's a bit of unsolicited advice for
25:11
Speaker 1: the rich and powerful amongst us. Nobody cares about your
25:14
Speaker 1: charitable works. If you do something heinous and you molest somebody,
25:18
Speaker 1: you hurt somebody, nobody cares about your charitable works. The
25:24
Speaker 1: filing states, Ms. Maxwell has always worked hard. Her many educational, occupational,
25:29
Speaker 1: and avocational accomplishments include becoming an emergency medical technician, a
25:34
Speaker 1: helicopter pilot, a submersible pilot, a banker, partnering with the
25:38
Speaker 1: Cleveland Clinic to establish a telemedicine platform to enable people
25:42
Speaker 1: in remote areas to obtain quality medical treatment, helping develop
25:47
Speaker 1: the Clinton Global Initiative, and supporting a variety of nonprofit
25:51
Speaker 1: and charitable organizations. I mean, really? So because of all
25:55
Speaker 1: of that, we should just let her walk free. That's it.
25:58
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell, you're getting a pass. Four years and that's it.
26:01
Speaker 1: Just go on with your life. Doesn't matter what you did.
26:04
Speaker 1: Breaking news. Nobody cares about any of that. And the
26:07
Speaker 1: fact that you outed Bill Clinton once again is juicy
26:10
Speaker 1: as shit. It's too bad the legacy media is busy
26:12
Speaker 1: playing games. Or else Bill Clinton would be a put-on
26:15
Speaker 1: blast already. Where's Julie K. Brown? Where's the New York Times?
26:21
Speaker 1: Where's the New York Post? Where are they? In a
26:28
Speaker 1: later section of the document, it states that Maxwell is
26:32
Speaker 1: not an heiress, villain, or vapid socialite. No, she's a
26:36
Speaker 1: human trafficker, a sex offender, a disgusting human being, and
26:41
Speaker 1: a bipedal serpent. The claim puts renewed spotlight on the
26:45
Speaker 1: links between Maxwell, Epstein, and Clinton. Epstein claimed to have
26:49
Speaker 1: helped Clinton launch the CGI, and the former president flew
26:53
Speaker 1: on his private jet, known as the Lolita Express, dozens
26:56
Speaker 1: of times. One photo taken as the jet was about
27:00
Speaker 1: to depart shows Maxwell standing with Clinton on the plane's steps,
27:03
Speaker 1: the two smiling warmly. Well, how about when Bill Clinton
27:07
Speaker 1: was getting himself a nice little massage? Remember that one? Yeah,
27:11
Speaker 1: I remember. The claim about Maxwell being targeted by a
27:17
Speaker 1: sniper was made during a section of the pre-sentencing filing
27:21
Speaker 1: which talked about Maxwell's treatment in the MDC while awaiting trial.
27:25
Speaker 1: The document states the treatment imposed on Ms. Maxwell was
27:28
Speaker 1: unnecessarily and intentionally degrading and threatening. While in isolation, a
27:33
Speaker 1: high-ranking prison guard told Ms. Maxwell that there was concern
27:37
Speaker 1: that she would be shot by a sniper, putting aside
27:39
Speaker 1: the reason and propriety of dispensing this alarming information. The
27:44
Speaker 1: security concerns resulting in her transfer to general population appears
27:48
Speaker 1: correlated to Ms. Maxwell having been sufficiently safeguarded to fill
27:52
Speaker 1: Epstein's empty seat. You see how they've turned it on
27:55
Speaker 1: its head? That was what they wanted. They wanted her
27:57
Speaker 1: in general population. Now it's a problem. You're never going
28:01
Speaker 1: to make people like Maxwell happy when it comes to
28:03
Speaker 1: prison or jail. What they're going to do is they're
28:05
Speaker 1: going to try and manipulate the situation. They're going to
28:08
Speaker 1: claim that they're being mistreated. They're going to claim that
28:10
Speaker 1: they're being treated horribly. And, look at Maxwell, 100 complaints filed.
28:16
Speaker 1: Can you imagine some poor guy, poor woman, trying to
28:19
Speaker 1: get one complaint filed with their court-appointed attorney who has
28:22
Speaker 1: 900 other cases? So go fuck yourself with the nonsense!
28:29
Speaker 1: Maxwell's attorneys claim that she was recently threatened by an
28:32
Speaker 1: inmate in general population, alleging that she said the extra
28:36
Speaker 1: 20 years in prison would be worth the money if
28:39
Speaker 1: she killed Jeffrey Epstein's lover. Her attorneys also argue she
28:42
Speaker 1: is subject to multiple pat-downs a day, where she alleges
28:46
Speaker 1: to have been touched in a sexually inappropriate manner by
28:49
Speaker 1: corrections officers several times. Boy, isn't that ironic, huh? Talk
28:54
Speaker 1: about the kettle calling the pot black. You've been touched
28:58
Speaker 1: in an inappropriate manner, huh, Ghislaine Maxwell? Boy, that's rich.
29:02
Speaker 1: Considering what you did, considering what you've been convicted of,
29:05
Speaker 1: I don't want to hear shit from you. And the
29:08
Speaker 1: fact that her team is trying to posture here and
29:11
Speaker 1: make it so Sarah can't give a statement is utterly absurd.
29:14
Speaker 1: And I hope that Judge Nathan sees right through it.
29:19
Speaker 1: If you'd like to contact me, you can do that
29:21
Speaker 1: at BobbyCapucci at ProtonMail.com. That's B-O-B-B-Y-C-A-P-U-C-C-I at ProtonMail.com. You can
29:30
Speaker 1: also find me on Twitter at B-O-B-B-Y underscore C-A-P-U-C-C-I. The
29:36
Speaker 1: link that we discussed can be found in the description box.
29:40
Speaker 1: All right, folks, we'll be back in a little bit
29:42
Speaker 1: with some more. Yesterday marked day one of the Ghislaine
29:48
Speaker 1: Maxwell trial, and I have to tell you, I was
29:53
Speaker 1: caught a bit off guard. I wasn't expecting Larry... big
29:58
Speaker 1: dog Vysotsky to be put on the stand right away
30:01
Speaker 1: like that. I figured there would be some opening statements
30:04
Speaker 1: from both sides, and then we'd get into the meat
30:07
Speaker 1: and the potatoes, a little bit of the meat on
30:10
Speaker 1: the bone in the coming days, but they got right
30:14
Speaker 1: to it yesterday. And Larry Vysotsky is a major cog
30:19
Speaker 1: within the Epstein realm. He was Epstein's pilot, He was
30:25
Speaker 1: flying all of these people all over the world. And obviously,
30:30
Speaker 1: according to him, he'll tell you that he didn't know
30:34
Speaker 1: who was on all of those flights, especially the domestic ones.
30:38
Speaker 1: But you have to think that the government believes that
30:41
Speaker 1: he has something to add if they're calling him as
30:44
Speaker 1: their first witness. And it also makes me wonder if
30:49
Speaker 1: he cuts some kind of deal with the government. Now, again,
30:55
Speaker 1: There's zero evidence that Larry Vysotsky was ever going to
30:59
Speaker 1: be indicted or anything like that. But it's pretty interesting
31:02
Speaker 1: that he's working with the government here. I mean, we're
31:07
Speaker 1: talking about a guy that Jeffrey Epstein gave a plot
31:10
Speaker 1: of land to right over there in his own ranch
31:13
Speaker 1: down in Stanley. And when I went down there to
31:17
Speaker 1: New Mexico, it is almost hard to explain just how
31:23
Speaker 1: vast this property is. and just how desolate this property is.
31:29
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein set up a nice little home away from
31:33
Speaker 1: home down there at Zorro Ranch, and the things he
31:37
Speaker 1: was doing down there were very secretive, right? It wasn't
31:40
Speaker 1: something that was well publicized. There was a reason he
31:45
Speaker 1: chose that spot in New Mexico. I mean, obviously, one
31:49
Speaker 1: of the reasons is the age of consent there, but
31:51
Speaker 1: there were other reasons, right? why Jeffrey Epstein chose New Mexico.
31:57
Speaker 1: And the fact that he was able to get away
32:02
Speaker 1: with the things he was able to get away with
32:04
Speaker 1: in New Mexico is just mind-boggling to me. But the
32:09
Speaker 1: point is, you don't give somebody a big fat chunk
32:12
Speaker 1: of land in a place that you're hoping to keep
32:15
Speaker 1: relatively private, or at the very least under a shroud
32:18
Speaker 1: of secrecy, a piece of land there, if you don't
32:22
Speaker 1: trust them. So my question is, what enticed him to
32:27
Speaker 1: offer up information for the government? Now, again, I don't
32:32
Speaker 1: have any lead saying that he had a proffer agreement
32:37
Speaker 1: or he was in any jeopardy of being indicted. But
32:40
Speaker 1: I just find it interesting that he is talking with
32:43
Speaker 1: the government now and not only just talking with the government, obviously,
32:46
Speaker 1: but taking the stand as a government witness. Usually that
32:51
Speaker 1: kind of thing doesn't just happen organically, right? The government is,
32:56
Speaker 1: you know, they find ways to get people to do
33:00
Speaker 1: what they want them to do, especially if you have
33:02
Speaker 1: something that might be criminal hanging over your head. They
33:06
Speaker 1: will definitely leverage that. They'll use it in their favor
33:10
Speaker 1: and they'll get you moving in a direction that they
33:13
Speaker 1: want you to move in. So the Larry Vesosky on
33:17
Speaker 1: the stand, it's definitely very interesting. But as I ruminated
33:22
Speaker 1: on it last night and I let it marinate, I
33:24
Speaker 1: had some more questions, right? Like, did he get a
33:27
Speaker 1: proffer agreement? Is he working with the government because he
33:32
Speaker 1: doesn't want to be charged himself? Or did they just
33:36
Speaker 1: turn him as a witness? So it's going to be
33:40
Speaker 1: very interesting to see all of the details, right? All
33:43
Speaker 1: of the specifics as we move forward. And with something
33:46
Speaker 1: like this, a trial, a case with just so much information,
33:51
Speaker 1: it's going to be very fluid. Things are going to
33:54
Speaker 1: happen quickly and things are going to happen on a
33:57
Speaker 1: daily basis. Every single time that you have this jury
34:01
Speaker 1: impaneled and the trial going on, you're going to have
34:05
Speaker 1: significant things coming out of those sessions. So getting right
34:13
Speaker 1: off to a jump with Larry Vysotsky as witness number one,
34:18
Speaker 1: it just tells me that there's going to be some
34:20
Speaker 1: more surprises coming. coming down the old chute here. And
34:25
Speaker 1: I'm very curious to see who else the government offers
34:29
Speaker 1: up as witnesses. And on the flip side of that,
34:32
Speaker 1: I'm wondering who the defense is going to pony up
34:36
Speaker 1: as a witness. Besides their paid for specialists, are they
34:40
Speaker 1: going to have anyone show up and, you know, polish
34:47
Speaker 1: Ghislaine Maxwell's reputation? Is anyone going to step into that
34:51
Speaker 1: box and say, hey, look, Ghislaine Maxwell's a good person.
34:53
Speaker 1: She didn't do this. And I think that she's innocent. Now,
34:59
Speaker 1: I haven't heard that they're going to have anybody up
35:00
Speaker 1: there to do that. But you would think, right, if
35:04
Speaker 1: you're the defense, one thing you want to do is
35:07
Speaker 1: try to establish that your client has, you know, is
35:10
Speaker 1: a person of character, is somebody who this is below
35:13
Speaker 1: and somebody who would never engage in behavior like this.
35:17
Speaker 1: And if your client is somebody like that, It stands
35:19
Speaker 1: to reason that you'd be able to find a few
35:22
Speaker 1: people that are willing to, you know, go on the
35:25
Speaker 1: record and testify that she's a good person or that
35:29
Speaker 1: she's somebody of upstanding character. So I'm interested to see
35:35
Speaker 1: what sort of trick the Maxwell team pulls out of
35:39
Speaker 1: their hat when it comes to establishing her as a
35:42
Speaker 1: credible person or somebody who should be believed. Because you
35:47
Speaker 1: know that the prosecution. Is they're coming hard. Obviously if
35:52
Speaker 1: Vysotsky is the first witness. You got to think that
35:56
Speaker 1: there's going to be a litany of people. Trotting up
35:58
Speaker 1: to that box. That have damning statements about Ghislaine Maxwell.
36:02
Speaker 1: And Jeffrey Epstein. And the way they were conducting themselves.
36:08
Speaker 1: And who better situated. Than the guy that was flying
36:11
Speaker 1: them all around the world. Now last night. I uploaded
36:17
Speaker 1: an episode about the other pilot that was brought up
36:21
Speaker 1: at this trial, David Rogers. You might want to check
36:24
Speaker 1: that out as well. But with Larry Vesosky taking the
36:27
Speaker 1: stand here, it's pretty significant. For those of us who
36:30
Speaker 1: have been following the case especially, I was talking with
36:34
Speaker 1: some of my colleagues who follow the case yesterday, and
36:37
Speaker 1: it was pretty much a unanimous consensus that this is...
36:44
Speaker 1: probably going to lead us to even more explosive witnesses
36:47
Speaker 1: hitting that stand. So I'm very interested to see where
36:50
Speaker 1: things go today. And I'm interested to see what sort
36:54
Speaker 1: of strategy the defense is going to use when it
36:59
Speaker 1: comes to cross-examining Larry Vysotsky. We can definitely expect more
37:07
Speaker 1: of Vysotsky today. And, you know, we'll see what comes
37:11
Speaker 1: of it. But I think it's very, very interesting that
37:14
Speaker 1: he was the first witness. And I think it's going
37:17
Speaker 1: to be interesting to see how it all breaks down
37:21
Speaker 1: from here. So today what we're going to do is
37:26
Speaker 1: we're going to take a look at some of the
37:27
Speaker 1: headlines from overnight. And yeah, take a look at what's
37:32
Speaker 1: going on. We have a headline over here from Slate.
37:37
Speaker 1: And this is an article that was published by Seth Stevenson.
37:43
Speaker 1: the headline, Glenn Maxwell's trial opens with her lawyer diving
37:46
Speaker 1: straight into the muck. And he goes into what's going
37:51
Speaker 1: on like outside of the courthouse and all of that jazz.
37:54
Speaker 1: From the article, outside the Thurgood Marshall Federal Courthouse in
37:58
Speaker 1: Lower Manhattan this morning, the media throng assembled to cover
38:01
Speaker 1: day one of the Glenn Maxwell trial. Print reporters, newsletter writers, podcasters,
38:07
Speaker 1: and television crews coalesced into the strangely glamorous frenzy that
38:12
Speaker 1: seems to accompany the launch of every high-profile criminal proceeding. Now,
38:17
Speaker 1: the reason I bring this headline up is I talk
38:20
Speaker 1: a lot about how it's Carnival Barker City right now.
38:24
Speaker 1: And you're definitely seeing it out in front of the courthouse.
38:29
Speaker 1: There are people of all stripes showing up and making
38:32
Speaker 1: their voices heard. And, you know, you have a lot
38:37
Speaker 1: of misinformed people as well. But one thing is very
38:41
Speaker 1: apparent to me, and it is that there is a
38:45
Speaker 1: lot of anger on both sides of the political fence.
38:51
Speaker 1: And it's not very often that you see that. Now,
38:53
Speaker 1: of course, there are the yahoos that are using this
38:57
Speaker 1: as a political cudgel to beat their political opponents over
39:01
Speaker 1: the head. And I'd be very cautious of any of
39:04
Speaker 1: these pundits that are talking about this case from either side.
39:09
Speaker 1: of the conversation, I'd be very cautious about what sort
39:13
Speaker 1: of rhetoric they're spinning towards you. Because this is much
39:17
Speaker 1: bigger than that. This is so much bigger than Republican
39:20
Speaker 1: and Democrat. This is so much bigger than left and right.
39:25
Speaker 1: You have to understand that this was people at all
39:28
Speaker 1: levers of power from both parties who were enabling this
39:33
Speaker 1: and facilitating this for decades. So to try and pin
39:40
Speaker 1: it on one party or the other is a great
39:43
Speaker 1: disservice to those who were actually abused by this scumbag.
39:48
Speaker 1: So while the circus-like atmosphere is to be expected, I
39:52
Speaker 1: think that it is one of the most gross ways
39:54
Speaker 1: to go about things when you're using this as a
39:57
Speaker 1: political cudgel. Now, of course, there's a political angle to it, right? Definitely.
40:02
Speaker 1: A lot of the people involved had ties to politicians
40:04
Speaker 1: or were politicians themselves. But it's very apparent when someone's
40:11
Speaker 1: trying to harness this as a political weapon. And I
40:16
Speaker 1: would just caution you to be very, very wary of that.
40:22
Speaker 1: He goes on to say, I've seen it before. It
40:24
Speaker 1: always starts this way. In mystery and frission. And it
40:27
Speaker 1: always ends in the squalor that's the reality of crime.
40:34
Speaker 1: No matter the trial, when it comes to a high-profile one,
40:37
Speaker 1: it's always going to have a cast of characters, right? So,
40:42
Speaker 1: I just... It's one of those things where I just
40:46
Speaker 1: witness and I observe and shake my head. You know,
40:50
Speaker 1: you have like he says here, when Michael Jackson's trial
40:54
Speaker 1: for child sexual abuse charges was getting underway, the media
40:58
Speaker 1: revved up to cover the bizarre tale of an eccentric
41:01
Speaker 1: global superstar. And then the trial began, and we met
41:05
Speaker 1: a dim, lonely drunk who liked to show porno mags
41:08
Speaker 1: to little boys. So... I guess what he's trying to
41:12
Speaker 1: say here in this article is the perception of what
41:15
Speaker 1: a trial is going to be and then the reality
41:18
Speaker 1: of it are usually two very, very different things. And
41:23
Speaker 1: I think we'll see a lot of that in this
41:24
Speaker 1: case as well. There are a lot of misinformed people
41:27
Speaker 1: when it comes to the Jeffrey Epstein case, the Ghislaine
41:30
Speaker 1: Maxwell trial, and all of the players on the stage.
41:34
Speaker 1: And hopefully, when we're done here on the podcast, we
41:38
Speaker 1: can try and clear a little bit of that up.
41:41
Speaker 1: And my suggestion would be to all of you out
41:43
Speaker 1: there who are new to this case, who have just
41:45
Speaker 1: found the Ghislaine Maxwell trial or have just gotten interested
41:49
Speaker 1: in this, I would suggest that you go onto social
41:52
Speaker 1: media and you seek out some of the survivors from
41:57
Speaker 1: this case and follow them on social media and listen
42:00
Speaker 1: to them in their own words. That way there's no
42:05
Speaker 1: background noise. There's no middleman. And one thing that these
42:09
Speaker 1: survivors did that was pretty much groundbreaking was they skipped
42:14
Speaker 1: the legacy media and they went directly to social media,
42:19
Speaker 1: to independent content creators and independent journalists to get the
42:23
Speaker 1: story out. And once there was such a swell from
42:26
Speaker 1: all of you people out there who have been following
42:28
Speaker 1: this case, they were forced to act, right? And it's
42:33
Speaker 1: been pretty crazy to watch it all unfold. Because it
42:40
Speaker 1: has been time and time again where not only were
42:47
Speaker 1: these girls, women, victimized by Jeffrey Epstein and allegedly Maxwell,
42:55
Speaker 1: but by our very own justice system. By the people
42:59
Speaker 1: who were put in place to make sure that the
43:01
Speaker 1: most vulnerable amongst us are protected. Those very people failed
43:06
Speaker 1: these girls. And you heard it yesterday in the trial.
43:09
Speaker 1: And it's something I've been punching home for a long
43:12
Speaker 1: time here. They chose girls from broken homes. Girls who
43:17
Speaker 1: come from low income families. Girls who don't have as
43:22
Speaker 1: many prospects on the horizon. And they specifically search these
43:27
Speaker 1: kinds of girls out. And that just makes it even
43:29
Speaker 1: more draconian to me. As if it's not hard enough.
43:36
Speaker 1: Be in broke, being poor, coming from a broken home.
43:39
Speaker 1: Now you have this multi-hundred million dollar predator and his co-associate,
43:47
Speaker 1: his underboss, bringing you in to groom you and molest you.
43:52
Speaker 1: It's absolutely horrendous to think about. And the fact that
43:55
Speaker 1: they preyed on the most vulnerable amongst us, it just
43:59
Speaker 1: makes me so mad. I really dislike bullies. And I
44:05
Speaker 1: really like people who punch down. I really dislike people
44:07
Speaker 1: who punch down. And Jeffrey Epstein was all of that.
44:11
Speaker 1: And Ghislaine Maxwell, she went right along with it. She
44:15
Speaker 1: was right there making decisions with him and helping him
44:19
Speaker 1: facilitate all of this according to multiple, multiple survivors. He
44:28
Speaker 1: goes on to say that he suspects that the trial
44:30
Speaker 1: of Ghislaine Maxwell, who stands accused of helping Jeffrey Epstein
44:33
Speaker 1: sexually abuse minors, will follow a similar arc to those
44:37
Speaker 1: other trials, meaning, you know, the whole entire circus atmosphere, etc., etc.
44:42
Speaker 1: He says the media has revved itself up to cover
44:45
Speaker 1: the story of a stylish, jet-setting socialite who broke fantastically bad.
44:50
Speaker 1: But over the coming long courtroom days, chances are we'll
44:53
Speaker 1: hear less about how she graduated from Oxford, speak several
44:56
Speaker 1: languages and can pilot helicopters, and more about how she
45:00
Speaker 1: allegedly took teenage girls on Florida shopping mall excursions. as
45:04
Speaker 1: a means of prepping them for molestation. Yeah, well, anyone
45:09
Speaker 1: who's showing up here thinking that Ghislaine Maxwell is just some,
45:12
Speaker 1: you know, shrinking violet socialite, you're in for a rude
45:17
Speaker 1: awakening because that is not the case. Ghislaine Maxwell is
45:23
Speaker 1: not that, okay? She knew exactly what she was getting into.
45:29
Speaker 1: Well-educated lady, comes from money, comes from power. And to
45:33
Speaker 1: think that she was just along for the ride is
45:36
Speaker 1: absolutely ridiculous. And, you know, again, when we talk about
45:44
Speaker 1: the overall atmosphere around this trial, oh, there's going to
45:49
Speaker 1: be some wildness. There's no doubt about it. And there's
45:53
Speaker 1: going to be a ton of carnival barkers and a
45:57
Speaker 1: ton of disinformation agents. But one thing that is going
46:02
Speaker 1: to be constant, one thing that you can guarantee is
46:06
Speaker 1: the profile that's going to be painted of Ghislaine Maxwell
46:09
Speaker 1: is going to be less than flattering by the prosecution.
46:14
Speaker 1: And not only that, but those assertions, well, they're going
46:18
Speaker 1: to be backed up by evidence and the statements from
46:23
Speaker 1: the survivors themselves. So, It's going to be a very,
46:31
Speaker 1: very interesting few weeks to see which way Maxwell's team
46:37
Speaker 1: goes with all of this. Now, we already know that
46:40
Speaker 1: their strategy so far has been to come out and
46:46
Speaker 1: blame the girls, basically, right? Saying that, you know, Maxwell
46:51
Speaker 1: was just someone who was around for Epstein's run. She
46:56
Speaker 1: didn't have anything to do with it. And the girls
46:59
Speaker 1: are liars. They're really above the age of consent. So
47:04
Speaker 1: you know how it goes. This is the typical defense
47:08
Speaker 1: when you see a case like this. They try and
47:13
Speaker 1: impugn the reputation of the accusers. They try and set
47:17
Speaker 1: them up as if they're money hungry or they're prostitutes
47:21
Speaker 1: or whatever it may be. But they've been doing this forever.
47:26
Speaker 1: It's like when you're in the NFL. And you fire
47:28
Speaker 1: your coach and you think it's a good idea to
47:30
Speaker 1: bring in Wade Wilson again. Bro, why are you bringing
47:34
Speaker 1: in the same guy with the same playbook? And that's
47:38
Speaker 1: what the Maxwell team is doing here. And I've been
47:41
Speaker 1: pretty steadfast in my opinion that it's not going to
47:44
Speaker 1: work out. You're not going to paint Maxwell as a scapegoat.
47:48
Speaker 1: She's not a stand-in for Epstein's crimes. None of that.
47:53
Speaker 1: And I really hope that the prosecution punches that home. Now, again,
47:58
Speaker 1: not very confident in the prosecution in America, the prosecutors
48:03
Speaker 1: in America, when they're going after high-profile people. Oh, sure,
48:07
Speaker 1: when the federal authorities are going after you or me,
48:11
Speaker 1: it's a home run for them, right? Slam dunk city.
48:14
Speaker 1: But when they're going after their own friends, the other
48:17
Speaker 1: members of so-called elite society, it usually turns out a
48:21
Speaker 1: little bit different, doesn't it? But hopefully there's enough evidence
48:26
Speaker 1: interest and enough anger around this case that they can't
48:31
Speaker 1: pull any of those nonsensical moves that they usually like
48:35
Speaker 1: to pull. So, I hope that the prosecution continues to
48:41
Speaker 1: beat home the fact that Ghislaine Maxwell was not a
48:43
Speaker 1: passenger on this ship. She wasn't just somebody who was
48:48
Speaker 1: stowing away. She was, in fact, piloting the ship sometimes.
48:53
Speaker 1: She was in the navigation room. She knew how the
48:56
Speaker 1: engine worked. And she certainly, most certainly, knew what was
49:04
Speaker 1: going on. And for her to set it up as
49:08
Speaker 1: if she had no idea what was going on, you know,
49:11
Speaker 1: that she was just completely taken off uh, off guard
49:14
Speaker 1: by what, what happened here is just an absolute ridiculous
49:19
Speaker 1: leap that they're asking people to take. And I honestly
49:23
Speaker 1: doubt anyone's going to be willing to take that leap.
49:29
Speaker 1: So there you have it folks for the morning. Now, uh,
49:34
Speaker 1: Trial's getting ready or is back underway as we speak.
49:38
Speaker 1: It's 6 a.m. here in Las Vegas as this episode's
49:41
Speaker 1: about to be dropped. So we got a whole day
49:44
Speaker 1: ahead of us. We're going to keep an eye on things.
49:47
Speaker 1: I'm pretty much locked into the studio watching the live
49:51
Speaker 1: streams happen with the updates, live updates, not phone or,
49:56
Speaker 1: you know, digital or anything like that. But there's a
49:58
Speaker 1: lot of live threads on like Twitter from innercitypress.com. Adam
50:02
Speaker 1: Klassfeld has a real good live feed that he's been doing.
50:06
Speaker 1: So I'll be following those all day and preparing to
50:09
Speaker 1: come back tonight and do a wrap-up show and talk
50:12
Speaker 1: about what occurred throughout the day in the trial and what,
50:16
Speaker 1: if any, surprises or curveballs were thrown our way. If
50:23
Speaker 1: you'd like to contact me, you can do that at
50:25
Speaker 1: bobbycapucci at protonmail.com. That's B-O-B-B-Y-C-A-P-U-C-C-I at protonmail.com. You can also
50:35
Speaker 1: find me on Twitter at B-O-B-B-Y underscore C-A-P-U-C-C-I. The links
50:43
Speaker 1: that we discussed can be found in the description box.
50:46
Speaker 1: All right, everybody, I'll be back later.
