  My name is Hannah Rose, and I just wanted to hop on here and deliver a quick message.

  Right now, more than ever, we need unity, not division.
• 0:19
  And I know that a lot of people are caught up on the political issues that are
• 0:27
  going on in the world today.

  And I don't want to come on here and take sides or bash anyone's belief in that. That's not my goal.

  If we could just take a moment to reflect on what we believe is right,
• 0:50
  and that's not referring to the political aspect necessarily.
• 0:58
  If we really just look within at our morals and our beliefs and what we feel is right,
• 1:08
  and then we look at the other end of it someone else having a completely different belief,
• 1:17
  that almost negates your belief.
• 1:26
  Just imagine how passionate that other person feels about their beliefs,
• 1:31
  just as passionate as you feel about yours.
• 1:36
  So it's not necessarily about who's right and who's wrong.
• 1:44
  Because that is where the division lies.
• 1:48
  Everyone is so caught up in debating and ridiculing and mocking people for their
• 1:54
  views, Rather than coming from a place of understanding,
• 2:01
  it's good to have community.
• 2:04
  It's good to discuss things with your friend at a healthy level,
• 2:10
  of course, without casting judgment.
• 2:13
  Just understanding where they stand on certain issues and having that come from
• 2:24
  a place of understanding and compassion instead of judgment and hate.
• 2:33
  And I'm going to be honest I really don't like the The political system at all
• 2:40
  The left and the right Because it's been an ongoing fight,
• 2:46
  For a long long time And we need each other,
• 2:53
  I really don't like Talking about political issues I don't like arguing with
• 3:01
  people about political issues,
• 3:04
  But at the same time With the platform that I have For my voice to be heard on,
• 3:14
  I also want to stand up.
• 3:19
  Against what I believe is wrong And.
• 3:26
  Which is the divide.
• 3:31
  Why are we doing this, guys? Is it because we like to fight?
• 3:42
  Or is it because we truly believe that our side is right and the other side is wrong?
• 3:50
  But you know what? Community is so important. And you don't have to be best friends with someone.
• 4:00
  That's not what I'm saying. I'm more so just touching on the fact that you can hold space for them.

  Compassionate space compassion doesn't
• 4:12
  mean neglecting your own belief system or
• 4:16
  neglecting your own boundaries for this
• 4:21
  person or this group of people but compassion is just understanding that what
• 4:29
  this person is going through i might not be able to see they might not even be able to see it.
• 4:37
  It might be under the surface, something that they're dealing with that we could never even imagine.
• 4:48
  And so I know that there's an urge to debate and fight for what you believe is right.
• 5:00
  But are you doing that from a compassionate and understanding place or are you
• 5:05
  casting judgment and ridiculing and mocking?
• 5:10
  Because no one deserves to feel like that.
• 5:15
  And this does not only apply to political belief systems.
• 5:23
  That is just what was on my mind this morning.
• 5:32
  I know better than to voice my opinions on political situations, but I did that today.
• 5:45
  And I think I offended someone even though I was very articulate in my delivery.
• 5:55
  And so it was just a good reminder to take my own device.
• 6:04
  I said device, but I meant advice. I'm sure you guys caught that.
• 6:11
  And again, this is an unedited, uncensored podcast.

  So I'm just on here talking to you guys as if I would talk to my friend in a voice note on iMessage.

  My message is just unity, unity, unity. We do not need division. We do not need hate.
• 6:31
  We need love. We need unity. We need community.
• 6:36
  Which is what we're trying to grow here on eye-opener society that's why all
• 6:41
  these beautiful souls have a voice and a platform for that voice to be heard on here.
• 6:52
  Because with a lot of these socials things get censored things get restricted,
• 6:59
  but why restrict unity and love and community, you know?
• 7:07
  I have made some of the most beautiful connections as of recently through that app,
• 7:16
  and many of these people I have met in real life and are now my lifelong friends.
• 7:25
  And that sometimes people always say that, right?
• 7:31
  Like, you're going to meet some of these people and they're going to be your
• 7:35
  lifelong friends, and you don't believe it.
• 7:39
  But now I do.
• 7:43
  And it's a beautiful thing to exchange energy through a screen and create relationships
• 7:51
  and friendships through a screen,
• 7:54
  regardless of belief,
• 7:59
  system,
• 8:00
  religious views, political views.
• 8:04
  Because at the end of the day, all of those things were programmed into us from birth.
• 8:15
  So a lot of the time we really had no choice but to pick a side, you know,
• 8:21
  And then we have to vote every year Pick a side And there's all of the rage
• 8:31
  bait Political posts, AI posts,
• 8:38
  but not every person is going to experience this life the same way as another
• 8:45
  would and I say that a lot because it was planted into my head by my beautiful
• 8:52
  friend Amber June and she always says this,
• 8:58
  and so and so.
• 9:04
  Regardless of everything that I just talked about,
• 9:10
  we deserve unity and community and love,
• 9:18
  and I just want to advise you to stop taking the bait and spread love and spread light.
• 9:27
  Scroll past those rage bait posts and stop trying to get people to believe your side,
• 9:40
  because that may not ever happen as much as you can debate and debate and debate.
• 9:50
  That kind of energy exchange is,
• 9:57
  causing a lot of anger and sadness and confusion in a lot of our hearts and
• 10:05
  i just want to kind of stay take a step back from it.
• 10:15
  And we basically just need to stop drinking the kool-aid and really looking
• 10:20
  within and connecting with people and leaving those kind of things out of it because eventually,
• 10:31
  we will all experience one love,
• 10:38
  which is just all of us feeling each other's love without even being in the same room,
• 10:48
  and just knowing that everyone here on earth has love for each other absolute
• 10:52
  love and absolute acceptance no matter what they have been programmed to believe,

  And this is all just food for thought Take what resonates, leave what doesn't We just need unity, guys,
