  heaven. Holy is your name.

  May we keep your name. Holy, may we keep your name set

  apart. God, I pray that we will not
• 0:15
  take your name lightly. Father, I pray that we will
• 0:19
  honor your holy name. Lord, we pray for your Kingdom
• 0:23
  to come. Lord, here on this earth, just
• 0:26
  as it is there, we pray, Father, for your will to be done in our
• 0:31
  lives, Father, and here on this earth throughout all continents
• 0:35
  and all people groups, Father, we pray your will over our own,
• 0:40
  all over our own selfish will. Father, we pray for daily bread
• 0:45
  today. God, we pray that you'll feed us
• 0:48
  the manna and the quail, God that we'll be able to eat your
• 0:51
  flesh and drink your blood. God, in remembrance of what you
• 0:55
  did for us on the cross. God, I pray that you'll forgive
• 1:01
  us for all the many times that we have transgressed and
• 1:04
  trespassed and sinned God and fell short.
• 1:08
  God, I pray in the name of Jesus that we will be a forgiving
• 1:11
  people, extending forgiveness out to all of those who have
• 1:15
  wronged us. God, I pray in the name of Jesus
• 1:19
  that you'll keep us from the evil one, keep us from
• 1:23
  temptation, keep us from falling short, keep us, God, from
• 1:27
  deception, keep us from airing. Father, keep us from rebellion.
• 1:33
  God, keep us from murmuring. Father, I pray in the name of
• 1:37
  Jesus that we'll be steadfast in our faith and put on the full
• 1:41
  armor today that will exude the fruits of the Spirit.
• 1:44
  God, I pray, Lord, that it'll be your Kingdom that we press
• 1:52
  towards, that we desire more than we desire another breath in
• 1:59
  our lungs. God, I pray that it'll be your
• 2:06
  power that comes upon us, not our own, not any power from any
• 2:13
  other source, God, but your shekinah glory just shining upon
• 2:19
  us. Lord, the powers that comes from
• 2:23
  knowing that we are yours. We are your bride.
• 2:28
  We wait and we adorn ourselves, we cry.
• 2:32
  Maranatha, God is your glory. Glory, Hallelujah, you are holy
• 2:42
  and worthy to be praised. We love you, God, Holy Spirit,
• 2:47
  Phyllis, Jesus Christ, it is your name that we ask and pray
• 2:51
  all of this. Amen.

  Well, let's start in verse one. But there were false prophets
• 3:03
  also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers
• 3:08
  among you, who privately shall be bring in damnable heresies,
• 3:17
  even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon
• 3:23
  themselves swift destruction. Here we are, we have arrived at
• 3:29
  this conjecture. We have arrived here at the
• 3:33
  crossroads where Peter wants us to know these false teachers and
• 3:40
  these false prophets are going to rise up at the last days, and
• 3:44
  they're going to deceive many. They're going to be an
• 3:47
  instrument in the enemy's hands, and they are apostate.
• 3:53
  And we can know that they're coming before they ever even
• 3:58
  come. And it is.
• 4:00
  This is not an opinion, this is factual.
• 4:03
  And God wanted us to know before it ever happened so that we can
• 4:06
  be on guard. And the best way that we can
• 4:09
  guard ourselves from the heresies is to study the
• 4:15
  authentic Word of God and not to call any of it into question, to
• 4:22
  not fall into the tragedy and the heresy of questioning God's
• 4:28
  Word. We take it by faith.
• 4:31
  We believe every syllable, every jot and every title from Genesis
• 4:36
  to Revelation, nothing added and nothing subtracted.
• 4:40
  We don't get to tell God what should be in or should not be in
• 4:46
  His Word, the complete authority.
• 4:50
  And you need to understand that God is so gracious to us as
• 4:55
  mankind that He would pin these words so that we can be on guard
• 5:01
  of the false teachers and the false prophets that are coming
• 5:05
  at an alarming rate. And they have weaseled their way
• 5:08
  into the church. And they're teaching all kinds
• 5:12
  of heretical teaching, this Gnosticism and mysticism,
• 5:19
  friends, this asceticism. And we need to be on guard,
• 5:24
  friends, we have great liberty in Jesus Christ, but it is not
• 5:31
  to be abused. 2 And many shall follow their own pernicious
• 5:38
  ways, by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken
• 5:43
  of. They deny that Jesus Christ came
• 5:46
  in bodily form. They deny that He is the only
• 5:53
  way. They deny that there is a
• 5:56
  Trinity. They deny all kinds of facts.
• 6:01
  And if you will, just read the word of God for yourself.
• 6:06
  Never put it down. Read it every moment of every
• 6:09
  day. Read it when you're in the way.
• 6:11
  Read it when you're in the streets.
• 6:13
  Read it when you're in the bathroom.
• 6:15
  Read it when you're at the kitchen table.
• 6:17
  Read it when you're at work. Read it, friends, and know it
• 6:22
  and learn it and own it. This is not just a Sunday to
• 6:27
  Sunday faith. We need a Monday morning kind of
• 6:33
  faith. We need a Saturday night kind of
• 6:36
  faith, friends. And we cannot just be those who
• 6:40
  take it lightly. We must be those that guard
• 6:43
  ourselves from all of the false teachings, the ravenous wolves
• 6:48
  in sheep's clothing. Three.
• 6:54
  And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make
• 6:59
  merchandise of you, whose judgement now of a long time
• 7:03
  lingers not, and their damnation slumbers not.
• 7:07
  It's coming, It's coming on the clouds with all the angels.
• 7:11
  Jesus Christ is coming to judge the world.
• 7:16
  He is ready. He stands ready.
• 7:18
  He's waiting for God to give him the proper time to come, to make
• 7:25
  His enemies a footstool. You need to understand that all
• 7:30
  of these false teachers who have crept in unawares, they have not
• 7:36
  been unaware to God. God knows who belongs to Him and
• 7:41
  God will not put up with people who twist his words.
• 7:47
  It's like in the days of Noah that he says that his spirit
• 7:50
  will not strive with man forever.
• 7:54
  He, he is so long-suffering that He is allowing us to continue to
• 8:00
  go down this dark hole of self destruction because He loves us
• 8:06
  so much that He wishes that none would perish.
• 8:09
  And He wants all to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ
• 8:13
  as the Lord. And He knows the full number.
• 8:16
  And He's waiting, friends, and it is His long-suffering that
• 8:22
  has kept us all the way to this point.
• 8:25
  And what if He would have came back before you ever gave your
• 8:28
  life to Him? You would have been eternally
• 8:30
  separated. And there are many right now
• 8:33
  that are living in sin that will be there with us when they put
• 8:36
  their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
• 8:39
  And that is what you need to understand is just because
• 8:42
  people are in sin now doesn't mean that they will always be.
• 8:46
  And God knows for. For if God spared not the angels
• 8:54
  that sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into
• 8:59
  chains of darkness to be reserved unto judgment.
• 9:04
  So that is what you need to understand is that God Almighty
• 9:08
  knows how to deal with people. He knows how to deal with the
• 9:12
  angels. He knows what to do and He has
• 9:16
  selected a place for eternal punishment for those who choose
• 9:22
  not to put their faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
• 9:25
  And He didn't spare the angels, and he won't spare mankind who
• 9:30
  refuse a loving God. Five.
• 9:37
  And he spared not the old world, but saved Noah the 8th person, a
• 9:42
  preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the
• 9:45
  world of the ungodly. So we know that the angelic host
• 9:51
  is the first creation. Then we know that this old world
• 9:56
  was before the flood of Noah and whenever he drowned all of the
• 10:03
  Nephilim and all of the evil in the world and only saved these
• 10:08
  eight souls. And we see here that Noah was a
• 10:15
  preacher. Every single time that he put a
• 10:19
  board on that ark and covered it over with pitch, he was
• 10:25
  preaching a message to the world, telling them that the
• 10:29
  judgment was coming soon. 6 and turning the cities of Sodom and
• 10:39
  Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them with an overthrow, making
• 10:45
  them an example unto those that after should live ungodly.
• 10:50
  So you can see here that Sodom and Gomorrah was not spared
• 10:57
  because it was so much evil in it and this sodomy that was
• 11:03
  being carried out. And you can see here that God
• 11:06
  will not put up with all of the disgusting practices of mankind
• 11:12
  forever. And it serves as an example that
• 11:17
  the angels were assigned to utter darkness and gloom and
• 11:22
  chains, and that all the world, the evil world whose thoughts
• 11:27
  were continuously evil, and that it had grieved God, that He had
• 11:31
  made mankind. They serve as an example to us.
• 11:36
  And then here, Sodom and Gomorrah post flood serves as as
• 11:41
  an example to us. We serve a loving God.
• 11:44
  Friends, don't get it twisted. God is not in heaven waiting to
• 11:48
  just strike and smite anyone who steps out of line.
• 11:52
  That is not the right view of God.
• 11:54
  But God is long-suffering, but he will only suffer for so long.
• 12:05
  7 and delivered just Lot vexed with the filthy conversation of
• 12:10
  the wicked. So we can see here how Lot got
• 12:14
  into the hall of faith back there in Hebrews 11, we can see
• 12:19
  how this man who had chose to go down into Sodom and Gomorrah and
• 12:27
  who had chose the better path, or so he thought, whenever him
• 12:32
  and Abraham had to split up. And Abraham the father of faith
• 12:37
  knew that God would take care of him no matter which direction
• 12:40
  Lot headed. And you can see here how God did
• 12:45
  take care of Abraham and had to teach Lot lots of lessons along
• 12:51
  the way. And here you can see that Lot
• 12:54
  got into that hall of faith because he was vexed, he was
• 12:59
  tortured by what he was seeing there in Sodom and Gomorrah.

  A. For that righteous man dwelling
• 13:10
  among them in seeing and hearing vexed his righteous soul from
• 13:15
  day-to-day with their unlawful deeds.
• 13:18
  It was torturous unto Lot to see all of the carnality that was
• 13:24
  happening within the walls of Sodom and Gomorrah.
• 13:27
  Friends 9 The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of
• 13:33
  temptations and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment
• 13:39
  to be punished. So you can see here that God
• 13:42
  wants us to live godly lives. He desires for us to walk in
• 13:47
  righteousness and to actually do the things that He asks us to do
• 13:53
  and to love Him with all of our heart and with all of our mind,
• 13:57
  with all of our soul, with all of our strength, the friends.
• 14:00
  And to love Him with every ounce of us and our neighbors as
• 14:05
  ourselves. And to write them on the
• 14:07
  doorpost, to tie them on our hands, to teach them to our kids
• 14:12
  as we are in the way, friends. And here you can see that if we
• 14:17
  choose not to love God and to love our neighbors, then He
• 14:22
  knows that there are going to be those who don't choose Him.
• 14:31
  And there is a place assigned to them that no person should ever
• 14:37
  want to go. And we do not make light of it.
• 14:40
  And it is not a joke and it's not going to be a party where
• 14:44
  all your friends are friends. This is torturous.
• 14:47
  And we pray for those that are practicing wicked things, that
• 14:53
  they will come to their senses and acknowledge a loving and
• 14:57
  holy God who only wants a relationship with them, but he
• 15:03
  will not put up with us forever. 10 but chiefly them that walk
• 15:10
  after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise
• 15:15
  government. Presumptuous.
• 15:17
  Are they self willed? They are not afraid to speak
• 15:21
  evil of dignities. So here we can see that this is
• 15:26
  the principalities, this is all of the angelic host.
• 15:30
  And we're going to get a little snapshot of what Jude was
• 15:34
  talking about in his little epistle when we get there.
• 15:37
  And we're going to see how it is not becoming of us to try to
• 15:46
  speak lightly upon the things that are angelic. 11 whereas
• 15:57
  angels which are greater in power and might bring not
• 16:03
  railing accusation against them before the Lord.
• 16:07
  So that is what you need to understand is that we bow in
• 16:11
  holy reverence to God Almighty and we rest in the finished work
• 16:16
  of Jesus Christ and we bring the name Jesus Christ, Jesus of
• 16:21
  Nazareth on our tongue and we watch all of the darkness flee.
• 16:26
  Friends, there is no power that is greater than that name, that
• 16:32
  is above all names, Jesus Christ.
• 16:36
  And that is the only power that we have to expel darkness.
• 16:40
  It is not of our own self, it is not of our own might.
• 16:44
  It is not of any kind of cunning little Jingle that we can put
• 16:48
  together. It is only Jesus and Jesus
• 16:51
  Christ that has the power over all of the angelic realm. 12 But
• 17:02
  these, as natural brute beast, made to be taken and destroyed,
• 17:09
  speak evil of the things that they understand not, and shall
• 17:14
  utterly perish in their own corruption.
• 17:17
  There are many who are taking God's name in vain.
• 17:21
  There are many who are speaking lightly of our Lord Jesus
• 17:25
  Christ. There are many who blasphemy the
• 17:28
  Holy Spirit, the only unforgivable sin.
• 17:32
  There are many who take lightly of all of the angelic hosts to
• 17:37
  their own demise. 13 and shall receive the reward of
• 17:42
  unrighteousness, as they that counted pleasure to riot in the
• 17:48
  daytime spots they are, and blemishes, sporting themselves
• 17:56
  with their own deceivings while they feast with you.
• 18:01
  So you need to understand that there are many who think that
• 18:06
  this is a joke, and there are many who have crept even into
• 18:10
  the church who don't actually believe in God.
• 18:14
  And they speak all of it lightly and they think that it's funny
• 18:21
  and it is a great tragedy. Friends 15 Having eyes full of
• 18:28
  adultery and that cannot cease from sin.
• 18:34
  Beguiling unstable souls. A heart they have exercised with
• 18:40
  covetous practices. Cursed children, you can see how
• 18:45
  God feels about those weasels that weasel their way in, these
• 18:49
  false teachers and false prophets who make sport out of
• 18:54
  you, who make merchandise out of you.
• 18:57
  And they think of this religion as a means to filthy lucre.
• 19:05
  They think of religion as a way to make a living friends and
• 19:13
  they do not care anything for God, but they just use all of
• 19:17
  the jargon and the dialogue. They use the word of God for
• 19:21
  their own self, vanity and gain, and God will finally and
• 19:30
  completely deal with those people 15 which have forsaken
• 19:38
  the right way and they're gone astray, following the way of
• 19:41
  Balaam, the son of Bassor, who loved the wages of
• 19:45
  unrighteousness. So we can see here how Balaam
• 19:50
  loved money and he used the giftings that God had given him
• 19:55
  for profit, 16 but was rebuked for his iniquity.
• 20:03
  The dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbade the madness of the
• 20:09
  prophet. So that donkey turned and a
• 20:12
  human voice came out of it and forbade Balaam from going and
• 20:20
  pronouncing curses upon the Israelites.
• 20:23
  And isn't God so amazing and so incredible?
• 20:27
  That he loves his people so much that he would use a donkey to
• 20:32
  rebuke and correct this false prophet. 17 These are wells
• 20:40
  without water and clouds that are carried with The Tempest, to
• 20:44
  whom the mist of darkness is reserved forever.
• 20:48
  Hell is no place that any person would ever want to go.
• 20:51
  Period. Not a single person on planet
• 20:55
  Earth who has been born, is living, or will be born would
• 21:00
  ever want to go there if they got one snapshot of the torture
• 21:08
  that ensues. If they got a snapshot of hell,
• 21:16
  there's no person who would ever want to go there.
• 21:20
  It is not a joke, and we don't just put our faith in God
• 21:25
  because we don't want to go there.
• 21:28
  Not going there is a byproduct of falling deeply and madly in
• 21:33
  love with Jesus Christ. But for those who think that
• 21:37
  it's a joke, for those who just think that they can do whatever
• 21:41
  they want to do and say whatever they want to say, go wherever
• 21:45
  they want to go. And they don't want to have
• 21:47
  conviction and they don't want to have to answer to anybody.
• 21:50
  And they want to be autonomous and be their own God.
• 21:54
  There are chains of utter darkness and gloom where the
• 21:57
  worm never dies in the fire, never goes out.
• 22:00
  It is reserved for such people, 18 for when they speak great
• 22:08
  swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lust of the
• 22:13
  flesh, through much wantonness. Those that were clean escaped
• 22:18
  from those who live in error. So you need to understand that
• 22:23
  there are only two choices. There are only two paths.
• 22:26
  There's heaven, there's hell. There's not 1/3 option friends,
• 22:33
  and you have to make a decision. And for those who say I'm rich
• 22:37
  and I have no need for anything, he says I have found you in
• 22:41
  want. And for those of us who have
• 22:44
  sold out to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, for those
• 22:48
  of us who have counted the cost and found him worthy, there is
• 22:54
  Paradise. 19 While they promised them liberty, they themselves
• 23:03
  are the servants of corruption. For of whom a man is overcome,
• 23:09
  of the same is he brought in bondage.
• 23:12
  So that's the thing about sin. The devil comes and offers you
• 23:18
  freedom from the conviction of God.
• 23:21
  And if you'll just serve him, then you don't have to answer to
• 23:25
  God who is just waiting to strike and to smite and to send
• 23:29
  you to hell. And you can have your cake and
• 23:31
  eat it too, and you can have a fun life.
• 23:35
  But what they don't understand is that he is the Angel of
• 23:38
  light, Lucifer. And he comes and he masquerades
• 23:41
  himself, and he acts as if he can deliver on the promises
• 23:45
  which he could never deliver on. He is a liar, he is the father
• 23:49
  of lies. He is only there to steal, to
• 23:52
  kill and destroy. And in the end, the sin bites
• 23:56
  like a Viper, and it is death and decay and corruption and
• 24:01
  disease, friends. And you only have to live long
• 24:04
  enough to see it play out every single time.
• 24:08
  It has never gone any other way. When a person sells their soul
• 24:13
  over to the devil, it is only death.
• 24:18
  Whenever they serve Mammon over God, it is death.
• 24:21
  When they serve self over God, it is death.
• 24:25
  Friends every single time. It has never worked out any
• 24:30
  other way. 24 If after they have escaped the pollutions of the
• 24:40
  world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus
• 24:46
  Christ, they are again entangled therein and overcome, the latter
• 24:51
  end is worse with them. In the beginning, when an evil
• 24:56
  spirit goes out of a man, he goes and finds seven more wicked
• 24:59
  than himself, and he comes back, and he finds the house swept and
• 25:03
  clean and clear, and the final state of that man is worse than
• 25:07
  the first. Friends, this is a picture of
• 25:11
  what happens when we taste and see that the Lord is good, when
• 25:14
  we are partakers of the heavenly abode, when we are in fellowship
• 25:20
  with those that have the Holy Spirit, and then we go back to
• 25:24
  our vomit when we turn and tuck tail.
• 25:26
  There is no more salvation apart from Jesus Christ.
• 25:31
  And if you are to take your last breath without placing your
• 25:35
  faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and receiving forgiveness for
• 25:39
  all of your sins, you will be eternally separated from a
• 25:43
  loving God. 21 For it had been better for them not to have
• 25:51
  known the way of righteousness, then, after they have known it,
• 25:57
  to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.
• 26:02
  These are the false teachers, these are the false prophets,
• 26:05
  these are those who go to seminary, they get a degree,
• 26:09
  they weasel their way into a church, these ravenous wolves in
• 26:12
  sheep's clothing, and they teach all kinds of heresies.
• 26:18
  It would have been better if they were never born, or to tie
• 26:21
  a millstone around their neck and to be drowned in the sea.
• 26:27
  We'll end on 22. But it is happened unto them
• 26:32
  according to the true proverb. The dog is turned to his own
• 26:37
  vomit again. And the sow that was washed and
• 26:41
  her wallowing in the mire? Lost people are going to do what
• 26:47
  lost people do. But God forbid they use God's
• 26:55
  word to deceive. God forbid these false teachers
• 27:02
  and false prophets to weasel their way into the church.
• 27:09
  There's greater damnation for those who lead a little one off
• 27:14
  astray. You need to understand that God
• 27:20
  is loving. God is love, and He desires that
• 27:24
  none should perish, but He knows how to deal with the wicked.
• 27:31
  I pray that you know Him and are known by Him, and that you love
• 27:35
  Him, and you feel the love and the peace and the grace that is
• 27:39
  available to you. He gives us these warnings on
• 27:44
  purpose. These are not hard sayings,
• 27:47
  friends. This is easy and easily
• 27:51
  understood if we will empty ourselves and all of our own
• 27:57
  ideas and precepts and notions, all of our own cleverness, all
• 28:01
  of our own understanding, and read it plainly, read it
• 28:09
  intentionally, read it and apply it literally.
• 28:14
  You will understand that there's coming a day and an hour and
• 28:17
  it's already upon us, friends, where this apostasy will run
• 28:23
  rampant. I hope you've been blessed by
• 28:26
  this amazing chapter. Be warned, friends.
• 28:31
  Beware, friends, know that the greatest safeguard against false
• 28:40
  teachings and heresy is to know the Word of God.
• 28:44
  Search the Scriptures like the Bereans, hold the teachers
• 28:49
  accountable. Measure everything by the Word
• 28:55
  of God, and anything that is spoken that is not the Word of
• 29:02
  God is man's opinion. That's all it is.
• 29:06
  When you listen to a sermon, 95% of that sermon is that man's
• 29:14
  opinion. The Word of God is alive and
• 29:19
  active. The Word of God will never
• 29:22
  return void and God will not be mocked.
• 29:29
  Stay blessed up today. Stay prayed up today.

  Put on that full armor. Live out the fruits of the
• 29:35
  Spirit, serve God, and love God. We'll see you back here
