Chapter 18, above all, showed that childlike faith is required to enter into the kingdom. The final parable, that of the wicked servant, was a clear indicator that the law is set aside but that Israel rejected Christ’s fulfillment of it and, instead, went to reimpose the law that Christ had fulfilled.
