Latest / Unlocking The Paradigm Portal / Light In The Dark: If You Feel Alone Tonight
Transcript
- 0:01Hey, it's Sarah. So if tonight feels quiet in a
- 0:05way that aches, and if the silence feels heavier than
- 0:08usual, or if you're feeling alone in a way that goes deeper
- 0:12than just being by yourself, I want you to know that I'm
- 0:15talking to you and you don't have to do anything while this
- 0:19is playing. You can just listen, or breathe,
- 0:22or close your eyes and imagine this is a small Lantern beside
- 0:26you, giving you just enough light so you don't feel like
- 0:29you're sitting here by yourself. Because loneliness at night can
- 0:34feel different than during the day, and it can make you wonder
- 0:37if anyone cares. And it can make the world feel
- 0:40very far away, and it can make you feel small in your own life.
- 0:45And if that's what this moment feels like for you, I want you
- 0:48to hear this clearly. You matter more than your mind
- 0:52is telling you right now, and your life touches people in ways
- 0:56that you don't always get to see, and your presence leaves
- 1:00impressions. Your existence creates ripples,
- 1:06so even when it feels quiet around you, you are not someone
- 1:09who disappeared. You are someone who is still
- 1:12here because you are important in ways that don't always show
- 1:16up on the surface. And there are people who would
- 1:19feel your absence immediately, people who carry memories of
- 1:23you, people whose lives changed because you crossed their path.
- 1:28And even the smallest connections count.
- 1:31Maybe it's a message that you sent, or a kindness that you
- 1:34showed, or a conversation that stayed with someone longer than
- 1:37you realized. And you may not see those
- 1:40threads right now, but they exist.
- 1:42You are woven into the lives of others, even in moments when you
- 1:46feel separate from everyone. And if it feels OK, gently look
- 1:52around the space that you're in right now and notice something
- 1:55that reminds you you're part of this world.
- 1:58Maybe it's a piece of furniture that somebody made, or that
- 2:01holds sentimental value, or a blanket that keeps you warm, or
- 2:06a sound that's coming from outside, or the hum of
- 2:09electricity, or even the steady rhythm of your own breathing.
- 2:14And all of those are signs of life happening around you.
- 2:18You are surrounded by evidence that you are here and that you
- 2:21belong to this world, that you are connected to something
- 2:25larger than this moment. Even the air you're breathing
- 2:29has travelled through countless lives before reaching you.
- 2:33So remember that you are not separate from life, you are
- 2:36inside of it. Now imagine the Lantern beside
- 2:40you, glowing a little warmer now.
- 2:42Soft, steady, quiet. And it's there to remind you
- 2:46that your presence matters even when no one is speaking.
- 2:50And you don't have to perform. You don't have to prove a damn
- 2:53thing. You don't have to earn your
- 2:56place here. You already have one.
- 2:59You are allowed to exist exactly as you are in this moment.
- 3:04And right now, that is more than enough.
- 3:09So this feeling, this loneliness tonight, this wait, it won't
- 3:12define you. It's a wave passing through, not
- 3:16the whole ocean. And there will be moments ahead
- 3:18where you feel connected again, where laughter comes easily,
- 3:22where someone looks at you and truly sees you.
- 3:27But for now, you only need to stay here.
- 3:29So breathe slowly, let your body rest, let the quiet hold you
- 3:34instead of isolating you. Because you don't have to carry
- 3:38everything tonight. And I'm really glad that you
- 3:43joined me. I really appreciate you choosing
- 3:48to be a part of this conversation.
- 3:51So now, if your eyes are getting heavy, you can let them close.
- 3:55And if you're still awake, you can stay here as long as you
- 3:57need. You are valuable, You are
- 4:01important. Your presence in this world
- 4:04makes a difference, even in ways you can't see yet.
- 4:09So I'm going to leave the Lantern right here next to you.
- 4:12And you don't have to hold it. You don't have to do anything.
- 4:15It's going to stay on steady and warm, keeping you company in the
- 4:19dark. And I'll be back.
- 4:22And until then, just remember you're not alone tonight.
